- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things in a cove. Not good listening to
- 0:25Speaker 1: the mother. Please, I don't join joining me. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you, you gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your thing, huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: shall will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on DIGMI now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Why Because God, God is in the
- 2:15Speaker 1: blessing business. If you go get in line, he has
- 2:19Speaker 1: something for you. God is amazing. The plan he actually
- 2:25Speaker 1: has for you is so far greater than you can
- 2:29Speaker 1: possibly imagine. It's really mind blowing. And as I look
- 2:33Speaker 1: back on where He's brought me from and what he's
- 2:38Speaker 1: currently doing for me, all I can do is tell
- 2:42Speaker 1: you is God. That's all I can tell you. Because
- 2:44Speaker 1: I tell you right now, I didn't foresee it. You know.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It oftentimes amazes me when I listen to celebrities when
- 2:51Speaker 1: they interview, how they say, you know, I always always
- 2:54Speaker 1: thought that this would happen for me, and I just
- 2:57Speaker 1: you know, it could be true, but for me, it's
- 3:00Speaker 1: not that way at all. I didn't imagine it this way.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I had a dream of becoming famous one day, but
- 3:12Speaker 1: I had no idea would it would ever get to this.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It was a very very simple desire for fame. There
- 3:22Speaker 1: is no way I could have seen all this. There
- 3:24Speaker 1: is no way I am telling you this is. This
- 3:29Speaker 1: has been nothing for me but the grace of God,
- 3:33Speaker 1: and all the times I failed, every time I had fallen,
- 3:38Speaker 1: he picked me up, He dusted me off, and he
- 3:42Speaker 1: kept me moving. It has been an amazing thing to
- 3:47Speaker 1: watch God do what he do. As I look back
- 3:50Speaker 1: on my history and you sometimes look back on your history,
- 3:53Speaker 1: you've got to see, man, wow, what God has done
- 3:57Speaker 1: for you and what He's brought you through to enable
- 3:59Speaker 1: you to be where you are. It is amazing because really,
- 4:04Speaker 1: I mean really real talk. Now, had he allowed all
- 4:07Speaker 1: of the decisions I had made to play all the
- 4:10Speaker 1: way out, I can assure you I wouldn't be here today.
- 4:14Speaker 1: But God, through this grace and mercy, who had a
- 4:17Speaker 1: plan for me, who was just waiting on me to
- 4:20Speaker 1: come get in line, and then he was gonna start
- 4:23Speaker 1: empty in Now he was gonna start shipping out all
- 4:26Speaker 1: the boxes in heaven with my name on it. And man,
- 4:30Speaker 1: what a great god he is, What a great god
- 4:33Speaker 1: he is. And you have boxes of blessings with your
- 4:38Speaker 1: name on it that he is waiting to ship. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: he needs you to go down there and get in line.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's what it is. It is not that he has
- 4:47Speaker 1: more boxes for other people than he do you. He
- 4:50Speaker 1: got boxes with your name on it who have never
- 4:53Speaker 1: been shipped. Because you will not get in line to
- 4:56Speaker 1: go get him. You will not ask God for him,
- 5:00Speaker 1: you will not do the things necessary to attain them.
- 5:03Speaker 1: We stop our own blessings. Man, I have been the
- 5:05Speaker 1: biggest stopper of my blessings than anybody else. I can't
- 5:09Speaker 1: really get mad at nobody. I got nobody to blame
- 5:12Speaker 1: for my existence but me. But then at the same time,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I can't take credit for this. I really really can't.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I kid you not. I cannot take credit for it.
- 5:23Speaker 1: And if you ever see me taking credit for it,
- 5:26Speaker 1: tap me on the shoulder, say Steve, pull up. Remember
- 5:29Speaker 1: you said this ain't about you. If you catch me
- 5:32Speaker 1: taking too much credit, you have my permission to stop me.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Now here. It is the deal, though, and this is
- 5:41Speaker 1: what I want to get through to you today. Moving
- 5:46Speaker 1: forward while under attack, new level, new devil. You know,
- 5:52Speaker 1: every time you go somewhere, every time you try to progress,
- 5:56Speaker 1: every time you make a decision to be better, to
- 5:58Speaker 1: do better, that's going to be a confrontation you're going
- 6:01Speaker 1: to have because it is the enemy's job to not
- 6:05Speaker 1: see you go forward, do better. Won't more behave yourself?
- 6:10Speaker 1: There is a force that is operative out there that
- 6:13Speaker 1: has people working on his behalf twenty four seven. You
- 6:17Speaker 1: got a computer, go go read a blog. Just go
- 6:20Speaker 1: read a blog. They're busy man, not knowing, but just
- 6:25Speaker 1: saying evil stuff constantly. That's a job. Well, here's what happens.
- 6:33Speaker 1: I you. We have to always keep moving forward while
- 6:40Speaker 1: we're under attack, because the attack is going to always come.
- 6:47Speaker 1: If you allow the attackers to stop you, you will
- 6:50Speaker 1: lose that particular battle. And you cannot afford this. You know.
- 6:55Speaker 1: My father used to say, be careful when you're trying
- 6:59Speaker 1: to kick somebody off the ladder, because you got to
- 7:02Speaker 1: take your foot off too, and you might slip. And
- 7:06Speaker 1: so when people are taking their feet off the ladder,
- 7:09Speaker 1: most something more. The majority, the may't even up own
- 7:11Speaker 1: a ladder. They just at the bottom throwing stuff up
- 7:14Speaker 1: at you. They are just shaking your ladder. They ain't
- 7:17Speaker 1: even they ain't even on your level. Really tell you
- 7:20Speaker 1: the truth, they really not. You have moved on far
- 7:22Speaker 1: beyond them, spiritually, physically, everything, but they are still shaking
- 7:28Speaker 1: your ladder and attacking. You. Keep moving forward while under attack,
- 7:32Speaker 1: because the attacks are going to come. If you take
- 7:35Speaker 1: the time to stop and address it, you are impeding
- 7:39Speaker 1: your own progress. This is very important to understand. Go
- 7:44Speaker 1: on about your business and remember Steve Harvey, and remember
- 7:48Speaker 1: those of you out there. There is a Bible verse
- 7:51Speaker 1: that helps me out every time. And I don't know why.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I got it on six different plaques sitting all around
- 7:56Speaker 1: my offices. Everywhere I go, I can read it Isaiah
- 7:59Speaker 1: fifty seventeen, No weapon formed against me. Sheall prosper that
- 8:04Speaker 1: because this is that he will put me under his
- 8:07Speaker 1: wings or protection. And this is my inheritance as a
- 8:13Speaker 1: servant of the Lord period. I'm his boy, he my man,
- 8:18Speaker 1: so so dig so, so when you come in for me,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I have to just rest on that Lord right there,
- 8:25Speaker 1: that he got it that no weapon formed against mechall prosper.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I'm just like you. Sometimes you know we know better,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but sometimes we don't do better. Man, let them say
- 8:35Speaker 1: what they're gonna say. When they get through saying it,
- 8:38Speaker 1: when they get through writing it, when they get through
- 8:40Speaker 1: talking about you, when they get through lyne about you.
- 8:43Speaker 1: Guess what they're gonna have to do. They're gonna have
- 8:45Speaker 1: to step back and watch your rise. They're gonna have
- 8:48Speaker 1: to kick back and watch what God got for you,
- 8:51Speaker 1: because nothing God got for you. Can't nobody stop it.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I don't care what they do. Keep moving forward while
- 8:58Speaker 1: under attack. You know, somebody tell you something. Minister Lewis
- 9:04Speaker 1: Fairkhan taught me something very important one day. He says, Steve,
- 9:08Speaker 1: remember this. He said. It is a common thing for
- 9:13Speaker 1: a dog to bark up at the moon. But if
- 9:16Speaker 1: the moon balks back at the dog, the dog becomes famous.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You feel me, the moon was talking to you. What
- 9:25Speaker 1: did you? How did the moon stop and talk to you?
- 9:29Speaker 1: Don't give them that. Let the dog bark up at
- 9:32Speaker 1: the moon. Don't you be up there? You go where
- 9:34Speaker 1: God got you going. Don't bark back at this dog
- 9:36Speaker 1: because the dog come famous because they ain't gonna be
- 9:38Speaker 1: able to get to you. But the dog is famous.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Now they want to interview the dog. Now the dog
- 9:42Speaker 1: guess what he gonna do? More barking? Guess what about you? Man?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Gone about your business, y'all? God is in the blessing
- 9:49Speaker 1: business all day long. Man, Go get in line, get
- 9:52Speaker 1: you some get them packages and boxes ship to you.
- 9:55Speaker 1: They got your name on it. Ladies and gentlemen, it
- 10:03Speaker 1: is upon us to Steve Harvey Morning show is here. Surprisingly, Yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 1: let's just be grateful. If you woke up this morning
- 10:12Speaker 1: like I did on the frustrated side of the bed,
- 10:16Speaker 1: get off of that side because it ain't gonna work.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Just get back, start over. They ain't gonna need to
- 10:21Speaker 1: being frustrated. Nothing you can do about it. It's called life.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Things happen. Let's move on, Let's move forward. Sometimes, Steve Harvey,
- 10:31Speaker 1: you have to take your own advice. It ain't bout
- 10:34Speaker 1: you all the time. What it's you need a wife
- 10:41Speaker 1: to remind you of that? It ain't bout you all
- 10:44Speaker 1: the time. This ain't the judge shower. Yeah, this ain't
- 10:53Speaker 1: the judge show. In my mind, my catchy ass come backwards.
- 10:59Speaker 1: That's what the hell you think. But you didn't say it,
- 11:02Speaker 1: though I'm saying hell no, say that, lady, gentlemen, Shirley
- 11:10Speaker 1: Strawberry callin for real Mississippi Monica or Junior Kids Bakes
- 11:14Speaker 1: and Nephew Tommy Juniors on your mind. Let's stay around there.
- 11:19Speaker 1: You know, just because you frustrate this morning up? How
- 11:22Speaker 1: many things have you wanted to say to your wife
- 11:24Speaker 1: that you can't so you have a list of statements
- 11:26Speaker 1: that you keep in your man see right there and
- 11:28Speaker 1: see for you you to make that question obviously, because
- 11:33Speaker 1: you don't have a wife. Okay, you don't have a
- 11:36Speaker 1: wife that got friends that listen to the show that
- 11:40Speaker 1: could go back and go girl out on my way
- 11:42Speaker 1: in this morning if your up is so crazy? He said,
- 11:48Speaker 1: you get on his last Damn that. Oh he said
- 11:51Speaker 1: that right after I told him this wasn't a judge show.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Oh didn't here on the radio talking about ye see Junior.
- 12:01Speaker 1: The reason I'm a little smarter than that because I've
- 12:04Speaker 1: benefit for a while and I know not to let
- 12:07Speaker 1: somebody who ain't in this tell me how to be
- 12:10Speaker 1: in this. And you're not in this, so you're not
- 12:14Speaker 1: fitting to get me in this. See that's what happens
- 12:21Speaker 1: when you're single. You ain't ever thinking really I didn't
- 12:28Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, yeah, you ain't ever thinking sitting then
- 12:31Speaker 1: and then and then the other thing that your parents
- 12:33Speaker 1: lay on you. That's what you get for thinking right.
- 12:38Speaker 1: And then the other one I used to get was
- 12:40Speaker 1: who asked you to think right? Mama? I thought, well,
- 12:47Speaker 1: who asked you to think? I'm this mindless ass idiot? Yeah?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Here you keep telling me to get good grades. Now
- 12:58Speaker 1: you don't want me to think making your mind up.
- 13:01Speaker 1: You didn't say that either, though. Oh yeah to my mama.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Teeth you see these teeth? Yea if my mama. My
- 13:11Speaker 1: mama slapped me so hard one time. She said, I'm
- 13:15Speaker 1: gonna slap you so hard you ain't gonna be able
- 13:17Speaker 1: to get dnches. And you know when you ate, you
- 13:21Speaker 1: don't really know what dnches are. I just knew it
- 13:24Speaker 1: was gonna be a really hard slap, so I avoided
- 13:27Speaker 1: that slap mind time. Like, man, thank you see what
- 13:31Speaker 1: you started? Junior, mister single, I ain't got no damn
- 13:37Speaker 1: By the coming up with thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: we'll run that prank back with the nephew right after this.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, nephew, it's time to kick
- 13:49Speaker 1: this show off, put it in gear with run that
- 13:53Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for us now? Yeah, I
- 13:55Speaker 1: don't know what you've given up, but I'm going to
- 13:57Speaker 1: give up something special for the lad Take a listen
- 13:59Speaker 1: if you wore cat dog. Hello, Hey, I'm trying to
- 14:04Speaker 1: reach Dorsey. Yeah. This is it this cliff Man. I
- 14:08Speaker 1: work at the post office with your wife. Yeah. How
- 14:10Speaker 1: you're doing, bro, I'm doing all right? Everything cool? Yeah?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Everything good man? Everything good. Um. Like I say, my
- 14:17Speaker 1: name is cliff Man. I wanted to reach out and
- 14:19Speaker 1: holt you about a couple of things. If you if
- 14:20Speaker 1: you got a minute, you gott a minute. Yeah, everything
- 14:23Speaker 1: all right with my wife. It's something wrong or something no,
- 14:25Speaker 1: no, no no, no, no, no no no, your wife good man,
- 14:28Speaker 1: your wife good. I wanted to hit you up. Man.
- 14:30Speaker 1: We've been working at the post office quite a while.
- 14:31Speaker 1: We've probably been in the same room a few times. Man.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I don't know if you remember meeting me or not,
- 14:36Speaker 1: but uh, okay, okay. But what I wanted to say, man,
- 14:39Speaker 1: is trying to do better with my life dog and
- 14:42Speaker 1: you know, just just trying to do better, you know
- 14:44Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So you know, for lint Man, I
- 14:47Speaker 1: gave up a few things. You know what I'm saying.
- 14:50Speaker 1: I just thought that would be a good thing, man,
- 14:52Speaker 1: to try to do the things that matter the most,
- 14:55Speaker 1: that you addicted to, you know, you want to get
- 14:57Speaker 1: rid of. You know what I'm saying, at least for
- 14:59Speaker 1: Lent is what I trying to do. You feel me?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Oh hey, I'm kind of confused. But what they got
- 15:05Speaker 1: to do with me? Basically, Man, I'm giving up for Lent.
- 15:09Speaker 1: You know, I decided to give up messing around with
- 15:13Speaker 1: your wife, you know, because because who whoa hold on? Man?
- 15:18Speaker 1: Hold on, Man, I'm at work. I don't know what
- 15:21Speaker 1: you're talking about. But back up and rephrase everything you
- 15:25Speaker 1: just said. Well, like I say, Man, for Lent, I'm
- 15:28Speaker 1: trying to I'm trying to give up stuff that I'm
- 15:31Speaker 1: that I'm addicted to. So I said, what they got
- 15:33Speaker 1: to do with me and my wife though? And you
- 15:35Speaker 1: well that's what I'm trying to tell you, Man, I'm
- 15:37Speaker 1: trying to give up messing around with your wife for lent. Man,
- 15:41Speaker 1: we're talking about man, messing around with my wife. Man,
- 15:44Speaker 1: got no time for no games? Right now? Who this man? Like,
- 15:47Speaker 1: what's your name again? This is Cliff Man? I actually
- 15:51Speaker 1: worked with her for the last ten twelve years. But
- 15:53Speaker 1: what I wanted to really let you know was, you know,
- 15:55Speaker 1: her schedule probably gonna train because what we used to
- 15:58Speaker 1: be doing we ain't doing. So she probab gonna be
- 16:00Speaker 1: coming home a little bit earlier, things like that. But
- 16:02Speaker 1: after Lena's over, then you know, whip be back what
- 16:05Speaker 1: we used to do. Man, what is you talking bout? Man?
- 16:08Speaker 1: Hold on, it's my wife's going to be home in
- 16:11Speaker 1: a minute. We're gonna talk about all the yep with me. Man,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm about to go hold on, what what are you?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Are you in the city right now? Can I can
- 16:18Speaker 1: I meet with you right now? What I'm trying to say, Well,
- 16:20Speaker 1: like I'm saying, I'm trying to do better. You know,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I gave up trying to do better. That sound like
- 16:25Speaker 1: a bunch of to me. I got something for you
- 16:27Speaker 1: and my wife? True? Okay, okay, okay, man, I mean,
- 16:31Speaker 1: ain't you feeling me? Don't trying to do better? Though?
- 16:33Speaker 1: I ain't selling the thing you calling me telling me
- 16:36Speaker 1: my wife? I think we need to meet up and
- 16:38Speaker 1: talk about this face to face. Clip what you think
- 16:40Speaker 1: I mean? We talked right now? If you want to
- 16:42Speaker 1: have a conversation. No, no, no, you just tell me
- 16:45Speaker 1: your address and me and my wife's gonna just come
- 16:48Speaker 1: on over there. How about that we all sit down
- 16:51Speaker 1: and have a little power WI. I don't know who
- 16:53Speaker 1: thank you is, man, but me and my wife been
- 16:55Speaker 1: together over fifteen years and we ain't never had no
- 16:59Speaker 1: problems with no like this, like the you're telling me
- 17:02Speaker 1: on this phone. It sounds like a bunch of crazy
- 17:05Speaker 1: to me. But somebody nick gonna today if the true?
- 17:09Speaker 1: So what you need to do? You need to tell
- 17:11Speaker 1: me your name, your number. And I don't know why
- 17:14Speaker 1: you call from this block phone number. You hear me, man,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I'm hearing you. Man, what I'm saying, the reason for
- 17:20Speaker 1: the call was to let you know, you know, don't
- 17:23Speaker 1: get used to her schedule because after Lint, it's gonna
- 17:26Speaker 1: be back to the way it used to beat. That's
- 17:28Speaker 1: all the phone call. Man, what's the he's you talking about?
- 17:31Speaker 1: We'll getting nu not what what's your? What's your what's
- 17:33Speaker 1: your what's your last name? Cliff? I'm gonna come find you.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna come see you now. Jack. My name is Cliff.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Like I say, I work at the Cliff and I
- 17:42Speaker 1: work at the post. Off was with So, okay, well,
- 17:44Speaker 1: how come you call from a block number, Cliff, what's
- 17:46Speaker 1: your phone number? Many? Hey, man, listen, I'm not trying
- 17:50Speaker 1: to have no confrontation with you. Man, it's already a confrontation.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You can call my phone from a block number. I
- 17:57Speaker 1: don't know you, you don't know me, and you're telling
- 17:59Speaker 1: me you've been my wife? Are you serious? Did you
- 18:03Speaker 1: know she was married? I mean what you mean did
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know he was married? Yes? Or no? I mean yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I know? I mean yeah, I knew she was married. Okay,
- 18:11Speaker 1: what that is? You knew that from the jump, So
- 18:14Speaker 1: that means you've been disrespecting me from the jump. So
- 18:17Speaker 1: now I got to getting your naw you just and

- 19:26Speaker 1: face in a minute. Now, tell me your name, tell
- 19:29Speaker 1: me your number and your real address, and we're gonna
- 19:32Speaker 1: talk about our lives in person. Okay, all right, what

- 20:41Speaker 1: the land? Man? Steve Harvey Morning, So I guess thank you,
- 20:48Speaker 1: crazy man. Coming up next, ask the CLR with the

- 20:55Speaker 1: your love questions. Right after this, you're listening every morning
- 21:00Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, and

- 21:07Speaker 1: That's great news, right, the Sens Festival. We'll be back.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I mean, wait till we tell you who's going to
- 21:13Speaker 1: be performing. Its going to be a great show. Great show.
- 21:17Speaker 1: And Kanye or Yeay as he's called. Now Lin's divorced
- 21:22Speaker 1: to getting beat up in the mall. We'll talk about that,
- 21:25Speaker 1: and somebody who's never been divorced before or and iconic
- 21:34Speaker 1: actor James Earl Jones gets a Broadway theater named after him.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But now it is time to ask the CLO chief
- 21:42Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey, ready for your love questions. Teresa
- 21:46Speaker 1: and Machen rites. There's a female that works with me
- 21:50Speaker 1: and she is the office snitch. We all know it,
- 21:53Speaker 1: but I had no idea she would tell on me
- 21:55Speaker 1: because we're cool. I took some printer paper home from
- 21:58Speaker 1: my child's printer and she told, Now, these white folks
- 22:02Speaker 1: think I've been stealing for a while. What can I
- 22:05Speaker 1: do to her without losing my job? Well, really, there's
- 22:08Speaker 1: nothing you can do to her. Um, Teresa, let's let's
- 22:13Speaker 1: have a conversation. Now, you stole some office paper, Yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 1: in front of Teresa the office snitch. Well you you
- 22:28Speaker 1: stole it, Teresa side in front of the office snitch.
- 22:32Speaker 1: She then told what is what snitches do? Now? What
- 22:39Speaker 1: can you do to her and not lose your job? Nothing?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Because all you can do is confront her about it
- 22:47Speaker 1: and go I thought we was cool. How could you
- 22:49Speaker 1: do such a thing. I just took some paper from
- 22:51Speaker 1: my babies printer, right, But you stole Yeah, it wasn't yours.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Thing to do is don't give him a pin to
- 23:01Speaker 1: stick you with. Or now here's some more better advice.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Next time you take something. Why don't you look round?
- 23:09Speaker 1: You ever thought of that? She thought they were cool, though.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Don't do no dirt in front of nobody. No, that's right.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Don't leave witnesses, So don't don't tell nobody when you
- 23:22Speaker 1: get ready do dirt. Don't don't share that, just go
- 23:25Speaker 1: do it, Go kill everybody. That's right. Steve all Right,
- 23:29Speaker 1: moving on Sierra in Gulfport, says, I'm thirty six and
- 23:33Speaker 1: my man is thirty years older than I am. But
- 23:36Speaker 1: he looks great for his age. His daughters, his daughters
- 23:40Speaker 1: think I'm with him for his money because they don't
- 23:42Speaker 1: see how I take care of him. He told them
- 23:45Speaker 1: he's given me access to all of his accounts and
- 23:47Speaker 1: credit cards, and his three daughters are older than me.
- 23:50Speaker 1: How should I address this? Well, let's have an honest conversation.
- 23:56Speaker 1: If he didn't give you access to all of his
- 23:58Speaker 1: credit cards and his money, would you stay with him?
- 24:06Speaker 1: That would be a no for me. Sorry, I'm talking
- 24:09Speaker 1: about nope. So now, how do you address this ere
- 24:17Speaker 1: when they know that's what you went it for? You thirty,
- 24:22Speaker 1: he's sixty six. That's usually the case. Yeah. If I
- 24:30Speaker 1: was in that situation that I'm sixty five and some
- 24:33Speaker 1: young thirty ye old girl got up on me and
- 24:35Speaker 1: I was available, Brandy Harley Morgan and Lorie would kill you,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and not no murder for hire. They're gonna do it,
- 24:48Speaker 1: they damned say. I'm telling you right now, don't go
- 24:53Speaker 1: in there trying to reason with them girls, because they
- 24:56Speaker 1: know what's up, because they know you thirty and they
- 24:59Speaker 1: daddy sixties six. She said, they don't know how she
- 25:02Speaker 1: takes care of him. Those we don't, We don't. What
- 25:06Speaker 1: are you doing? Was you going down there getting the prescriptions?
- 25:11Speaker 1: What are you doing? What are you doing? You didn't
- 25:14Speaker 1: put some godrails in the bathroom. So he don't shoot
- 25:18Speaker 1: what you didn't did changing the tennis shoes on the
- 25:23Speaker 1: bottom of his walkers. So I mean, what are you doing?
- 25:29Speaker 1: You're probably not doing anything. Well, you know, look, when
- 25:31Speaker 1: you're thirty and you're dealing with somebody sixty six, is
- 25:33Speaker 1: something come with it? Everybody in ingrate shaping healthy that
- 25:37Speaker 1: you say, he don't look like it, but do he
- 25:39Speaker 1: act like it? All right, we're moving on, thank you. See,
- 25:44Speaker 1: we're moving on to be in Saint Louis. He says,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I want a vacation with a close male friend. And
- 25:48Speaker 1: I've never thought of him sexually. But I let him
- 25:51Speaker 1: do a few things to me without going all the way,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and he was excelent. He said, if he does anything
- 25:58Speaker 1: else to me, I will fall in love with him.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I don't like him at all, but I'm very curious
- 26:05Speaker 1: should I let him go all the way or not.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You about a damn lat You didn't let this man
- 26:13Speaker 1: do everything to you but go all the way. I
- 26:16Speaker 1: don't like him. You just a damn lie at all.
- 26:22Speaker 1: But he excellent at something. Well, you might not like him,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but I bet you like what he like. Now, what's
- 26:28Speaker 1: what's her question? Shirley She wants to know should she
- 26:31Speaker 1: let him go all the way curious? She's very curious. Yeah, yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 1: you're curious. Curiosity to kill the cat and if it
- 26:38Speaker 1: to kill you too. And he didn't do something to you,
- 26:43Speaker 1: and you feln't like it, and you've been frying out, y'all.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Wasn't friends? After all? I told y'all about these friends,
- 26:50Speaker 1: all right, Maya? And Laurel says, listen to this from Steve,
- 26:56Speaker 1: my boyfriend, and I stated at his parents home two
- 26:58Speaker 1: weeks ago, and since then, his dad sends a good
- 27:02Speaker 1: morning text to me every day. It's so annoying? Is
- 27:06Speaker 1: it rude? If I ask him to stop? He sends
- 27:09Speaker 1: you a good morning every day, the daddy. It could
- 27:13Speaker 1: be as simple as old player like you. I want
- 27:16Speaker 1: to welcome you to the family. He just started learning
- 27:19Speaker 1: how to text. He ain't got a lot of friends,
- 27:21Speaker 1: you wit. All you gotta do is tap that little
- 27:23Speaker 1: thing and put that little heart next to it or
- 27:25Speaker 1: ha ha or whatever you know, the little hand waves something.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Just acknowledge him. What does it hurt? I mean? It
- 27:33Speaker 1: begs the question, how did he get her number? Shirley,
- 27:36Speaker 1: She didn't say. She never gave him the number. No,
- 27:40Speaker 1: she didn't. She didn't say that. How did he? Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 1: you know, you can always block him. He ain't gonna
- 27:46Speaker 1: nonock is ask. He ain't gonna know what's good. I
- 27:54Speaker 1: don't know what happened this infinite, this infinite and winter infinite?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Whatn there for? That? Something else? He won't let me through.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I was shooting that, waiting on it and let me
- 28:04Speaker 1: through it. Just ain't let me through and just block
- 28:07Speaker 1: his ass. You ain't got to deal with this. What's
- 28:09Speaker 1: wrong with you? He's not making any lude comments. He's
- 28:12Speaker 1: not in your business. Good morning, Good? Were he trying
- 28:17Speaker 1: to tighten it up for a son? Good morning, good
- 28:20Speaker 1: Welcome to the family. We's a little bit of knowing,
- 28:22Speaker 1: but that's other than that. We be people. You don't
- 28:27Speaker 1: think daddy got a crush on him. He might been
- 28:29Speaker 1: over that two weeks. Even watch you walk around this.
- 28:34Speaker 1: This was my daddy right here. Good morning, little chicken.
- 28:38Speaker 1: My daddy used to look chicken. What does that mean
- 28:44Speaker 1: that that's how he felt all the girls I dated,
- 28:47Speaker 1: That's what he called it, little chicken, A little chicken,
- 28:53Speaker 1: all right? They think I always knew in the back
- 28:58Speaker 1: of my mind that has some to do it plucking.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Let it be coming up. Thank you, Clo. Coming up
- 29:08Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, We'll have some entertainment
- 29:10Speaker 1: news for you right after this. You're listening to the
- 29:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kevin Hart, Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaje.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Just take a listen to this lineup. They have all
- 29:23Speaker 1: signed up for headline as headliners for this year's Essence
- 29:27Speaker 1: Festival that's going to take place in New Orleans June
- 29:30Speaker 1: thirtieth through July third. The producers haven't haven't released the
- 29:34Speaker 1: full lineup yet, but they have confirmed appearances from Jasmine Sullivan,
- 29:39Speaker 1: Selmer Walker, the Isisley Brothers, New Edition, and DJ D Nice.
- 29:44Speaker 1: So that's a good that's a good start right there.
- 29:46Speaker 1: We don't know who all is going to be there,
- 29:48Speaker 1: but that's a real good start. Oh, June thirtieth through
- 29:52Speaker 1: July third. Essence. That's big. I love that. Yeah, I
- 29:56Speaker 1: love it too. Yeah, it's good. That's big. It's nice. Yeah,
- 30:00Speaker 1: h in New Orleans. Back back if that's just back? Yeah,
- 30:08Speaker 1: one of my favorite things. Really. Yeah, I don't know
- 30:11Speaker 1: if I can go this year? Why not? Why not? Yeah?
- 30:17Speaker 1: It just don't go down there, man, I just won't
- 30:19Speaker 1: go with you though, because you walk in everywhere. No, no,
- 30:24Speaker 1: she because of your question earlier about now I can't
- 30:27Speaker 1: go yeah, now you can't go nowhere with me because
- 30:29Speaker 1: you're single and stupid. You're gonna get my ass and
- 30:33Speaker 1: some trouble. So get your ass married a quick caught
- 30:40Speaker 1: in there, man, I'm gonna take you right, I'll be
- 30:44Speaker 1: that and as time about you know, Steve? Right here
- 30:47Speaker 1: now we had some name drop. Yeah, you don't take
- 30:49Speaker 1: a picture with you by yourself when you took a
- 30:55Speaker 1: picture with her all of that sea all right, So
- 31:01Speaker 1: here we go with with Kanye or Yeay as he
- 31:04Speaker 1: likes to be called. Now. Um. He's still reeling from
- 31:09Speaker 1: his divorce from Kim Kay, and on Friday he posted
- 31:12Speaker 1: on Instagram Steve that divorce is like COVID walking on glass,
- 31:17Speaker 1: getting beat up in the mall, one soul, getting dragged
- 31:20Speaker 1: over cold and other horrible things. What boy, you ain't
- 31:26Speaker 1: even been the court yet. You ain't even found out
- 31:30Speaker 1: what your payments fitting to be and if you're lost
- 31:33Speaker 1: a house yet. This is the early symptoms of divorce. Why, Steve,
- 31:40Speaker 1: He's been the courts, they got the divorce. The divorce
- 31:45Speaker 1: is granted so he's been the court, So what else
- 31:47Speaker 1: is next? Oh, when he realized, see the payments ain't
- 31:51Speaker 1: started coming out him. Yeah see he got he got
- 31:56Speaker 1: dealt the payments, and then he going then you know,
- 32:00Speaker 1: and then you know, he gonna miss a visitation. Then
- 32:03Speaker 1: he gonna want to switch the visitation. Then she's gonna
- 32:06Speaker 1: have something already playing with the kids. That's gonna throw
- 32:10Speaker 1: his answer into something else. He's gonna stack out on
- 32:12Speaker 1: the internet. Yeah. But meanwhile, Steve Kim is going on
- 32:17Speaker 1: with her life. She was busy removing her married last name,
- 32:20Speaker 1: which is West. You know, she's Kim Kardashian West. She's
- 32:24Speaker 1: removed all of that just one day after their divorce
- 32:27Speaker 1: was final. Yeah, I mean as you should. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 1: as you should. And that's she's moving on. He don't
- 32:38Speaker 1: know what's coming though, he hed no idea and they
- 32:44Speaker 1: got a quick divorce too. He don't know that. He
- 32:48Speaker 1: still has not felt the brunt of it. He don't
- 32:51Speaker 1: know what visitation is really gonna be. Like, the payments
- 32:54Speaker 1: ain't came out yet. I don't care how much money
- 32:57Speaker 1: you got. See. Yeah, ye, he's in all this whatever
- 33:01Speaker 1: he want to be all that. All that is he
- 33:04Speaker 1: he just is. The residue of the divorce is what
- 33:08Speaker 1: he's going to have to deal with. And he's right
- 33:11Speaker 1: about raked over the colds cut in the glass because
- 33:13Speaker 1: he because he got that payment amount. Yeah, but the
- 33:17Speaker 1: real raking it ain't happened because you ain't had to
- 33:19Speaker 1: send it in yet. And I don't care how much
- 33:23Speaker 1: money you got. That child support payment is relative. It's
- 33:29Speaker 1: relative to what you have. So trust and believe this
- 33:34Speaker 1: ain't like you know out of the country where it's
- 33:36Speaker 1: a thousand dollars per child. No, that ain't what did this?
- 33:39Speaker 1: A la beat up at the mall? My ass? Okay,
- 33:49Speaker 1: you you act. It's actually a prison event and a
- 33:52Speaker 1: very unpleasant prison event. That's what it is. Really want
- 33:57Speaker 1: to know about it. He needs to sit down to Yeah,
- 33:59Speaker 1: I think of the four kids all the time now here,
- 34:03Speaker 1: this is Kanye. Kanye is going through a prison event
- 34:06Speaker 1: on a nightly basis and tag heat in. WHOA. So
- 34:11Speaker 1: now you got that, Then you got to go back
- 34:13Speaker 1: up in that sale with Big Oscar Bubba Neil. Then
- 34:17Speaker 1: you wake up again. As soon as you wake up,
- 34:19Speaker 1: somebody take your food trade and your dessert because you're
- 34:22Speaker 1: not eating the day and then at lunch they ain't
- 34:28Speaker 1: got nothing to do, so they call you upstairs for
- 34:31Speaker 1: another prison event. Then when they get through right now, okay, yeah,
- 34:39Speaker 1: he just he just get in the prison. He got
- 34:42Speaker 1: the prison. It on. We gotta say congratulations to James
- 34:47Speaker 1: Earl Jones. The John Court Theater on West forty seventh
- 34:50Speaker 1: Street in New York will soon be known as the
- 34:52Speaker 1: James Earl Jones Theater. The Shubert Organization, which is Broadway's
- 34:57Speaker 1: biggest landlord, will rename one of its seven Team theaters
- 35:00Speaker 1: after James Earl Jones. This is fulfilling a promise Steve
- 35:04Speaker 1: made back when black artists pressed for greater recognition in
- 35:08Speaker 1: the wake of the twenty twenty protests against societal racism,
- 35:12Speaker 1: and James Earl Jones, who is ninety one, said that
- 35:15Speaker 1: he was honored by the news. He says it means
- 35:18Speaker 1: a lot and it's too heavy for him to even
- 35:20Speaker 1: try to define. So congratulations to him. Wow. And we
- 35:27Speaker 1: have to say our deepest condolences going out to the
- 35:30Speaker 1: family of Johnny Brown. He was Nathan Bookman, a good
- 35:34Speaker 1: times Yeah, he passed away eighty four years old, So
- 35:38Speaker 1: our condolence is going out to the family of Johnny
- 35:41Speaker 1: Brown TV Legend Bookman. All Right, coming up a twenty
- 35:46Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, our good friend Corey is back
- 35:49Speaker 1: with some things on his mind. You know, Corey, he
- 35:51Speaker 1: thinks he's deep, but he's not. He really is. We'll
- 35:57Speaker 1: be back with Corey right after this. You're listening Steve
- 36:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Uh, nephew, Corey is back.
- 36:06Speaker 1: A good friend, Corey who thinks he's so deep. I
- 36:08Speaker 1: talk to him, but he's really not. What's going on
- 36:14Speaker 1: with Corey? Call him? You've been You've been talking to
- 36:17Speaker 1: Corey a lot. Huh, you've been catching up. We're catching up,
- 36:21Speaker 1: you know, you know it's you know, you know, you know,
- 36:24Speaker 1: you know weed is legal in California, so you know,
- 36:26Speaker 1: his his thoughts is somewhere different, you know. They Okay,
- 36:32Speaker 1: he asked there, all right. I talked to him the
- 36:36Speaker 1: other day, and you know, he really at some point
- 36:38Speaker 1: sometimes you make a little bit of sense. He's like, no,
- 36:40Speaker 1: tell me we uh he said, we're coming up on
- 36:44Speaker 1: Daylight savings time, right, I say, yeah, it's it's it's
- 36:47Speaker 1: next it's this coming week. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he says,
- 36:50Speaker 1: So why are we saving it? And what do we
- 36:54Speaker 1: keep it? You know, like like do we have a
- 36:58Speaker 1: story like don't open that, gonna open that that that's
- 37:01Speaker 1: that extra daylight? Don't open Where is this daylight where
- 37:07Speaker 1: as we're putting this extra daylight saving? Wait what I
- 37:09Speaker 1: don't get it. That ain't that ain't it ain't deep Cory,
- 37:13Speaker 1: that's that's that's stupid. UK, Let answer some Timmy. Okay, Timmy,
- 37:18Speaker 1: So let me ask you this. If you if you
- 37:21Speaker 1: in hell and get mad at somebody, where do you
- 37:27Speaker 1: tell them to go? Yeah? I'm like, oh, good Earth,
- 37:38Speaker 1: like we're in here, like you gotta go around the corner,
- 37:40Speaker 1: you know, ain't a way to heaven. I'm just I'm
- 37:47Speaker 1: just I'm just you know, you know he he hits
- 37:49Speaker 1: me with someone that's just that just throws me. Said, okay, Timmy,
- 37:52Speaker 1: all right. Eyebrows, all right, eyebrows all above the eyes, right?
- 37:58Speaker 1: I said, yeah, Cory, eyebrows. But what we're getting in
- 38:02Speaker 1: he says, So shouldn't shouldn't the mustache really be a
- 38:07Speaker 1: limp brow? Don't that make most sense? Where they come
- 38:11Speaker 1: with this crazy weird call must say it should be
- 38:13Speaker 1: a limp brow? You know you think it should Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 38:22Speaker 1: because not one motle thing, one more thing, one more thing.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Go Tommy, that's stupid. For why he say, Timmy, why
- 38:33Speaker 1: do we call them training bras? We're not teaching them anything?
- 38:37Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. I mean, what what? What
- 38:41Speaker 1: can we teach them? All boobies? This way today we're
- 38:45Speaker 1: going to learn. We're gonna learn what we're not learning nothing?
- 38:51Speaker 1: What is we're training them? Fuck? That ain't deep core.
- 38:57Speaker 1: That's stupid. All right? Coming up, the ignorance never stops
- 39:02Speaker 1: on this show. I promise you that. Coming up at
- 39:05Speaker 1: thirty four Vennesatta the hour, you'll see what I mean.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Stick around, We'll be back right after this. You're listening
- 39:11Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So Steve, on Friday,
- 39:16Speaker 1: you joined Hoda and Jenna on the Today Show. You
- 39:19Speaker 1: talked about your brand new wardrobe, your new flyness, how
- 39:22Speaker 1: you stay true to yourself throughout your career, and you
- 39:25Speaker 1: also talked about your feelings about Lori and uh Michael B.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Jordan's relationship. But most importantly you did all that, but
- 39:33Speaker 1: most importantly you debuted Game Star Plus. And you could
- 39:37Speaker 1: tell us about Game Star Plus. We talked about it
- 39:40Speaker 1: a bit, but you tell us about. Well, you know,

- 53:27Speaker 1: it could be yours. Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, it is
- 53:30Speaker 1: time for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirley Strawberry.
- 53:34Speaker 1: Thank you, junior. Subject to keeping a Secret Always backfires?
- 53:38Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm in my late twenties and I
- 53:41Speaker 1: got married two years ago. My husband is eleven years
- 53:44Speaker 1: older than I am, and he's a great man, but
- 53:47Speaker 1: he went through a brief period of ed before we
- 53:50Speaker 1: got married. I was young and carefree at the time,
- 53:53Speaker 1: so I did something very stupid. I had gone for
- 53:57Speaker 1: close to three months without sex with my man, and
- 54:00Speaker 1: I went to a wedding back in my hometown and
- 54:03Speaker 1: had sex with my ex boyfriend from high school. All
- 54:06Speaker 1: of the feelings I had for him came flooding back,
- 54:09Speaker 1: and I had an affair with him for two months.
- 54:12Speaker 1: He flew in to see me during the week and
- 54:14Speaker 1: I would leave work and spend the afternoon with him
- 54:17Speaker 1: at different hotels. Then he ghosted me without any explanation,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and I was deeply hurt. I confided in one of
- 54:25Speaker 1: my closest friends, and she kept it real with me
- 54:28Speaker 1: and said I needed to get over it and marry
- 54:31Speaker 1: the man that's in love with me. I got engaged
- 54:35Speaker 1: and this close friend wanted to be a bridesmaid, but
- 54:38Speaker 1: I had to choose my fiance sister instead of her.
- 54:42Speaker 1: She told me that she understood, and I was relieved
- 54:46Speaker 1: until one of our other friends told me that the
- 54:48Speaker 1: girl was calling me a lucky b behind my back.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I thought she was jealous because she was single, so
- 54:54Speaker 1: I let it slide. I got pregnant on my wedding night,
- 54:57Speaker 1: and my life has been non stop since then. I
- 55:00Speaker 1: ran into my old friend and she was very bitter.
- 55:04Speaker 1: I want to hug her, and she pulled back. She
- 55:07Speaker 1: said I ghosted her after I got everything I wanted,
- 55:10Speaker 1: and my husband should know who I really am in
- 55:13Speaker 1: love with. I insisted that I do love my husband
- 55:17Speaker 1: and that affair I had was a mistake. She walked
- 55:20Speaker 1: away smirking and said, have a nice life. Do I
- 55:24Speaker 1: try to fix our friendship so she won't tell my secret? Well,
- 55:28Speaker 1: I say no, because she's not your friend, and she's
- 55:32Speaker 1: not anyone that you need in your life right now.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I mean, you know, not with all the negative energy
- 55:37Speaker 1: she's got around her. I would stay as far away
- 55:40Speaker 1: from her as possible. I mean, you said, it's been
- 55:43Speaker 1: two years since you got married, got pregnant, and more
- 55:46Speaker 1: than two years since the affair. I say, you're a
- 55:48Speaker 1: major mom with serious responsibilities now, and what she's talking
- 55:54Speaker 1: about is petty and more than that, it's over. It's
- 55:57Speaker 1: done with, so continue to live your nonst life like
- 56:00Speaker 1: you've been doing. This girl is bitter because you didn't
- 56:03Speaker 1: put her in your wedding, even though she said at
- 56:05Speaker 1: the time it was cool you didn't ghost her. It's
- 56:09Speaker 1: just that your life changed so drastically after marriage. You
- 56:12Speaker 1: had a husband and a baby and very little time
- 56:15Speaker 1: for anything else. I think a real friend would have
- 56:18Speaker 1: understood that. But now she's threatening to you, some two
- 56:21Speaker 1: year old before you were married, affair against you, which
- 56:26Speaker 1: means she hasn't moved on and you had. She's still
- 56:29Speaker 1: upset and she hasn't forgiven you. I think she was
- 56:31Speaker 1: gonna If she was gonna use this in folks, she
- 56:34Speaker 1: would have done it before now. And I just think
- 56:37Speaker 1: you need to, you know, keep it pushing, keep moving forward,
- 56:40Speaker 1: and let her stay behind where she needs to be
- 56:43Speaker 1: and out of your life. Steve Well, Shirley's correct. Mary. Yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 1: but let me say this to you. Let's just start
- 56:51Speaker 1: with the subject keeping a secret always backfire. One of
- 56:59Speaker 1: my favorite lines, shut shit, damn mouth all secrets. That's
- 57:06Speaker 1: why they call him a secret because a lot of
- 57:08Speaker 1: people do keep secrets. There are a lot of secrets.
- 57:11Speaker 1: There's secrets in the ocean. You can dive down here.
- 57:15Speaker 1: If you won't you try to discover them, but your
- 57:17Speaker 1: a's gonna die because that are secrets that you have
- 57:24Speaker 1: to carry to your grave. I have them. They're going
- 57:28Speaker 1: with me. I don't even have the urge to tell them.
- 57:33Speaker 1: I don't have a lot of moments where my guilty
- 57:35Speaker 1: bothering me and stuff wash over me. I don't even
- 57:37Speaker 1: have that. But that's my secret. Now. You're in your
- 57:43Speaker 1: late twenties. You got married two years ago. Your husband
- 57:45Speaker 1: eleven years old. You he has some erectile dysfunction before
- 57:49Speaker 1: you got married, so you was carefree. Y'all didn't have
- 57:52Speaker 1: sex or three months and you just got horning. You
- 57:54Speaker 1: went to your arg ex hometown and rather up in
- 57:58Speaker 1: your ex boyfriend at a wedding, and all the feelings
- 58:00Speaker 1: you had for him came back, and then you hadn't
- 58:04Speaker 1: a fair with him at the wedding before you was married.
- 58:09Speaker 1: That's your secret. The problem is you ain't keep it.
- 58:12Speaker 1: The secret you told somebody. I don't know what the
- 58:14Speaker 1: hell you told somebody folk, but you did, so you're
- 58:17Speaker 1: having to fail. For two months, he flew in and
- 58:19Speaker 1: see me during the week. I would leave work and
- 58:21Speaker 1: spend the afternoon with him at different hotels. That boy
- 58:25Speaker 1: was flying in bringing it it was convenient. Then he
- 58:31Speaker 1: ghosted me without any explanation, and I was deeply hurt. Well,
- 58:38Speaker 1: you showed up at the wind with no explanation. You
- 58:41Speaker 1: have fiance, You did something without explaining to him, so
- 58:47Speaker 1: he ghosted you. Ain't no big deal. You were hurt.
- 58:51Speaker 1: Here's the mistake you made. You confided in one of
- 58:55Speaker 1: your closest friends, who we were refer through to throughout
- 58:59Speaker 1: the US to this letter, ass the skank you. You
- 59:06Speaker 1: confide in your skank, you says your closest friend, but
- 59:14Speaker 1: we will refer to her from the rest of this
- 59:16Speaker 1: morning show as that that damn skank. Thus skank all skankcakes.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Oh wow, I like the number three. Yeah. She kept
- 59:29Speaker 1: it real with me and said I needed to get
- 59:31Speaker 1: over to marry the manners in love with me. I
- 59:33Speaker 1: got engaged in his close friend wanted to be a bridesmaid,
- 59:37Speaker 1: but I had to choose my fiance sister instead of her.
- 59:41Speaker 1: That's why you made a mistaken. When we come back,
- 59:44Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you should have told your damn vance.
- 59:47Speaker 1: All right, here we go. We'll have part two of
- 59:49Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 59:52Speaker 1: hour of the subject of today's Strubberry letter. Hitting a
- 59:55Speaker 1: secret always backfires. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:59Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Strawberry letter and finish up with your response. Let's go.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: This young woman in her twenties had a man eleven
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: years old. They were gonna get married, and he experienced
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: some ed and erectile dysfunction and she needed to get
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: herself fixed. So she went to her ex boyfriend who
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: lived in another town. She was at a wed and
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: ran up into him. They had feelings and they had sex,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and then she ended up having a fan for two months.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: He used to fly in town and she leave work early,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: go down to the hotel and get ranched, you know,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: and just things for just happening down there. The word
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: is ranched. Yeah, you ain't never been ranched before. I
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: recommend it happened for you, dic. It's very cleansing. So
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: she went on there, she got ranched and just old
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: and old, old, your ranching, just ranching off, and you know,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: it's it's a it's a it's a directive over rents.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: It's a country way of saying rint. Like you know,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: rint that out ranch, that out ranch, that means harder
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: when you ranch it. It's harder. If you get a wrench,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: that's one thing, but if you get that damn range,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: that's a whole nother thing. You know what I'm saying. So,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: so yeah, do like that? So now yeah, just what
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: we do here we educate and so now so now
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you come back and he's been at that hotel, team
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: kids business and then out of nowhere he ghosted you.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: While you were surprised about that, I don't know you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: would deeply hurt. So you couldn fide it in the skank.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: You told skanky, and skank kept it real with you
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and said I needed to get over it and married
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: a man that's in love with me. Now skank was
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: right about that. Now, so you did what skank saying.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I got engaged and this skank wanted to be a bridesmaid,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: but I had to choose my fiance's sister instead of huck. No,
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: you did it. It is your wedding. You left the
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: fact that he was eleven years older than you and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: his sister want to be in a win because she
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: sang the ain't never been in a win, you know,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: nobody never asked her to being a win. She want
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: to be in a win so she can get in
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the line, catch the bouquete, because ain't nobody fit to
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: ask her Ugland to marry her at all. So she
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: figured I know she ever because she forced herself in
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: the winding. Ugly ass people always pushing themself in winds
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: and stuff. Ugly people know how to barge in, you know.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: Qute people go, oh, I'm not selected, Okay, well good luck,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you know, but ugly asks people on you. You're gonna
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: want me. I'm gonna tell my brother put me and
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you win. Now, we hadn't get all this extra fabric
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: to make her dress. Now she down there with me,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: and she'd had a special cutch put in the dress
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: because she big. Now she got the stomach out and
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: both side panels out. She didn't even look like Winstead
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: brised me. But anyway, she got in the wed. Now,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the problem you had was your skank thought that she
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: should be in the wed because y'all was cool. This
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is what happens when you cool with the skank. So
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: skank told you she understood. I was relieved until one
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: of your other friends told you that the skank was
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: calling you a lucky bee behind your back. I thought
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: she was jealous because she was single, so I let
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: it slide. Then you got pregnant on your wed night.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: In your life, in non stop every since you ran
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: into your skank, you ran into skank cat let's give
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: her name. You ran up in the skank cat, skank couttter,
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You ran up in the skank couttter, and she was
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: very bitter. I went to hug and she pull back.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: That's cause she's scaped, she said. I ghosted her after
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: I got everything I wanted, and my husband should know
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: who I'm really in love with. I insisted that I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: do love my husband. The dad off fair was a mistake.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: She walked away smirking and said, have a nice life.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Do I try to fix our friendship so she won't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: tell my secret? Shirley's absolutely correct, absolutely not. You don't
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: try to fix this relationship with a scape. This ain't
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: your friend, she's a scape. Why would you want to
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: fix it with a scape? What you got to do
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: is fix her. She stopped being the victim all the time.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: Now she's gonna threaten to go to your husband with
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: this news. A couple of things you need to do.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: First of all, do what men do, Lie, I mean, look,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: jess as surprised. Shirley, I want you to be the
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: girl coming to tell my husband what you know. Start
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and I'm gonna show her how she needed to be. Okay,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: height you remember for me, Um, I'm Betty your wife's friend.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I wanted to be in the well to come over
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: because you know there's some things about Betty that you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: don't know. And um, I wanted to let you know
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: that I know something about her that I think, Yeah,
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I think you should know this about Okay, No, we
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: all often to tell something. Go ahead, Well I don't.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: I don't know anything about that. I just know what
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: I know is that. Well, Um, you remember, um, like
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: there was a period of time like three months before
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: you guys got married, Um, where you guys didn't have sex.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: You remember that? You don't remember that. You're trying to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: say Clarence had D. Yeah, I'm trying to say Clarence
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: had ed. Clarence, how does he how does he for know?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: You had I e ed? Fat? No, you had D Clarets.

- 1:06:41Speaker 1: one sixteen. They are currently sitting in the ninth seeds,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: so we can't really count them out. They're still in
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: the play in tournament because that's from seventy ten. That's
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: gonna say. Whatever time, Junior, I got to throw this in.

- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I fit because he wasn't not that sad and I
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: saw him. He was bad. The game looked like he
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: read so out right after right after the game. He
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: can't go out. He get close right away. He ain't

- 1:09:35Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Guys, I
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: saw this article and it's all about men's feelings. Who
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: knew men had feelings? That's a right. Society wants us
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: to believe that real men don't have feelings or are
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: allowed not allowed to show their emotions. But in fact,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: men are emotional beings just like we are. And the
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: power of your words can be healing. Okay, they can
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: be healing, guys. One hundred men were surveyed, and here
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: are the nine phrases that the best men most wanted
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: to hear. All Right, I'm gonna say this. Say the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: phrases you guys. Tell me if it's true or not.

- 1:10:17Speaker 1: like to hear that. Yeah, i'd like to hear that.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I heard. I ain't heard it, but i'd like to
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: hear it. How about this one? Number eight. Thank you.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Oh I'd love to hear that. Yeah, oh god, Okay,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: how about this one? I see you, I see you.
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: M I'm scared of that one. Man? You see me doing?
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: What what I do? What I was doing? When you
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: when you say I see you? What did you? What
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: did you imply? Would you say? You are so suspicious?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Who was next to me? I trust you? How about
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: that one? I'm not Oh, I love that. I'm not
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: going I'm not. I trust you, so you don't know?
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: You don't I know you don't trust me. I'm not
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: falling for that one. I have a question, Shirley, before
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: you get to the next one, Junior, do you think
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: all of this? Every time this compliment comes out, there's
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: something another meaning. It's undertone because I've been saying it,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: you ain't been saying it. Now I'm a sudden he
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: is I trust you? Booth No, you don't see I know,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: and don't don't put don't put three of them together?
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: Thank you? And I trust you and I see you,
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I see you? Okay? How about this one? How about
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: this one? I don't care about your path. I don't
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: care about your path. You lying, you're lying? Don't sit here?
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: And lie to me. How about this one? How this
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: is a good one? Right here? I support you. Go
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: ahead and do that. I support you. That's good. Now
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: that's a feel good. That's good. I'll take that one,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: all right. How about this one? I appreciate she? Ain't you?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Every man? One that? I'm sure that that ain't what
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: it looked like last night? It should it look like
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: appreciation last night? Disappointment in your eyes? Yeah, got in here, went,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: got in here, took your butt straight to bed. I
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: don't see the appreciation, all right. Last two, guys, last two,
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you make me happy. Okay, A matter of fact, I
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: made a lot of raceship shut I never heard that
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: one kind of don't you because I'll be disappointing. I
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: am No'm ready to be in a relationship. I can't
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: take you nowhere. You make me happy out man made
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: me happy? Last one, last one? You look handsome girl?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: What you want? What you want? You won't talk? You
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: want something? What is it? What is it not? Yeah? Oh,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: you look handsome? Money? You know how much that's gonna
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: cost me? Right there? How much is that gonna cost?
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: You know? Oh? I know a two thousand dollar handsome one?
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: I hear one. But you know what, the one thing
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I didn't hear on this list that I was looking
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: for assurance, the one thing I do. You know what
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: lew you sexy? They ain't never been too. No, that's
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: not on their baby. Yeah. And you know what I
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: ain't here, Julian, what what do you need? Yeah? That
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: ain't What do you need? Yeah, that's yeah, that's not
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: on there. That's what I see. You mean, here's another one.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I see it. You're gonna know, ain't that this time?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: You're on another one? You hungry? Yeah? That's what um, Yeah,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that's what I support you mean. So so when she
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: said she ain't never asked me if I'm hungry, I
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: ain't never heard of that. I gotta ask if she hungry.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I don't think that's ever come out of my mouth. Yeah,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: what we know? I that I've asked that. Okay, that's

- 1:15:06Speaker 1: bringing us tears, or maybe who knows it was the
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: bill at the end of the meal that made you cry. Well, anyway,
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: there's this elderly man in China. He's been diagnosed with
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: an extremely rare condition. It's known as crocodile tear syndrome.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: I'm like, dude, is this for real? You got this? Yeah?
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: You got it to a turn. I didn't. I'll get
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: my mama oxtail. And it just happened. It causes him
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: to cry every time he eats, and it's ruining his
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: social life. Doctors reported that his nerve fibers are misdirected
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: and they interfere with his uh salivary glands, so when
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: he smells or tastes food, it makes him cry. And
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: very funny, you know. It's not try to drink him
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: to him to say eat like this. I'm just go
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: this is a I tried doing sex like that. We'll

- 1:17:36Speaker 1: all right, this is another one for you, junior. Would
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: you rather have poetry night at a lounge or would

- 1:17:49Speaker 1: get this, TWI don't get the poetry truth in that.
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: You don't love it that much. Yeah, it's poetry in
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: the scrip club. There's a lot of poetry industry. Just
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: listen to the music they ry, but a hand for
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the one and oh man, that's poetry emotion, Yes it is.

- 1:18:39Speaker 1: a beautiful thing when you're sweeping up ones with a broom.

- 1:18:54Speaker 1: giraffe or a hand like a baby? Hands like a baby.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I don't want to be sticking my neck in everything.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I don't want that. That's weird. But I don't want
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: to be no grown man with the lit hands. Why
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: can he not throw the football with his child? All right, guys,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: thank you, that's what you rather for today? Coming up,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: it is our last break of the day right here
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day and time
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: for some closing remarks from the wonderful, the one and only,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: are Fearless leader, Steve Harvey. What you got, Steve? You know,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: I was just thinking about encouragement and the things that
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: have happened in my life to greatly encourage me. And
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: kind of, like I said, this morning, you know, I
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: kind of woke up this morning. I just wasn't myself
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: this morning. I wasn't my usual and I found myself thinking,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: you know, some thoughts that I shouldn't have allowed to
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: get into my head. But I quickly reversed that. And
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something that I do because I
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: was taught a long time ago that your feelings are
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: a barometer of your thoughts. Your feelings are a barometer
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: of your thoughts. And what that simply means is what
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: you're feeling is actually like just a thermometer of what
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: you've been thinking over the past twenty thirty minutes. If
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you think, if you catch yourself feeling out of sorts
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: or getting to a little funk, or feeling a little depressed,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: all you have to do is trace back what you've
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: been thinking for the past fifteen to thirty minutes, because
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: all your feelings are are simply a barometer, or however
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: you want to look at it. You might want to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: say a thermometer, so you can say it tells the
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: temperature of what you've been thinking. And so I had
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: to go back and do that, and I realized the
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: reason I kind of woke up on the wrong side
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: of the bed was because I was leaving that thinking
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: some negative thoughts. I was thinking about all the stuff
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I had to do, all this stuff I needed to accomplish,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: and then I was realizing that there was no way
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I was gonna get it all done today, no matter
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: how hard I tried. And as I was sitting there
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: man beating myself up for knowing all that I had
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: to do and knowing I didn't have enough time in
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: the day to get it done, I started feeling sort
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: of out of sorts and like, man, I wanted this
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: to move blah blah blah blah blah. Well, I had
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: to catch myself because I had to be reminded of
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: the Lord's prayer, the line that says, give us this
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: day our daily bread, which God has mentally equipped us
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: to handle today. God didn't set our brain up to
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: handle tomorrow. To worry about it anyway. You can think
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: about it and aspire about it and dream about it,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: but you're surely not to worry about it because there's
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: nothing you can do about it. But I was sitting
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: about worrying about today and all I had to do
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: and how I was gonna fit it in to day
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: and knowing I couldn't, and how I was gonna affect
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: my tomorrow. Bad mistakes. Steve Harvey and you know better,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: And so I'm trying to help you all understand that
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: when you get into that funk like that, no better,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: like I had to know better. God has equipped us
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: to handle today. Give us this day our daily bread.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: He don't want you tripping on what they already happened
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: in the past. You can't go back, you don't get
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: due overs, and they don't need to worry about the
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: future because you have no control over it. So I
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: had to give folks, and I had to think about, Wow,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: all I need is today. I need enough to make
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: it today. And so as I was sitting there shaving,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I was sending a bit thinking. I said, Wow, I'm up,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I have a measure of help. I'm shaving. I'm actually okay.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I'm ordered some room service. I'm okay. I get to
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: go to work today. That's a blessing. Not I gotta
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: go to work. I get to go to work today,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: because that's a blessing. It's a blessing to have that opportunity.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: It's people looking for a job today wishing they would
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: work anywhere, and I just need to get a check
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: coming in here. I actually get to go to work
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: to a job I enjoy. Steve Harvey, are you kidding me?
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: You got the nerve to wake up on the wrong
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: side of the bed because you was worried about what
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: you might not accomplish. Have you taken a moment, sir,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: to just realize what you have? That my children are helping,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: that they all steal with me, That I got loving family. Oh,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: they had a dysfunctional moments. Oh you can believe that.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: By at the end of the day. I bet they
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: love each other. Hey man, you have options. Hey man,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: You're able to walk, to see, to talk, to think,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to rhyme, to reason. It's just so many little things.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I'm looking out the window right now and I'm realizing
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: the sun is up and I'm free. Why I can
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: go out there enjoy it? Man, get out of here.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: You don't have the right, sir, to wake up on
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the wrong side of the bed when the joy and
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the gratitude ought to be that you woke up on
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: the bed. How about that? Because don't you remember Steve
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Harvey when you didn't have no bad partner? Now you're
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: worried about getting up on the wrong side. How about
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: them three years when you ain't hand no bid? What
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: about that? Are you kidding me? Man? So you're gonna
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: lay up his stuck on stupid because you're on the
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: wrong side of the bed. You're frustrated you ain't got
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: enough time in the day. But did you ever really
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: think about why you don't have enough time in the
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: day because you got stuff to do. You know why
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: you got stuff to do, because God created you to
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: be busy. You know why it created you to be
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: busy so you can have the life you asked for.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: You can't complain about what's all on your plate when
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: your whole goal was to eat. Sitting up in here
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: tripping about how much is on my plate when my
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: whole goal was to eat. Now he got plenty on
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: the plate, and you're tripping about that? Are you stupid?
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey? I don't think so. So I pulled my
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: big lift wide, no self tick yellow and focused and
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: got grateful and got my day started. And now as
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I say goodbye y'all this morning, I get to go
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: to work and do it all over again. Let the
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: church say, Amen, Amen, Amen again, a man again. Extra
