- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me to be doing me. Have
- 0:58Speaker 1: you gotta use turn hur the You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out, got to turn out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water. Come come on your baby at it?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig me now wanting only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey man old man got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, man, I just
- 2:15Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:29Speaker 1: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:34Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today, Start your mission today?
- 2:45Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:50Speaker 1: delay what we want or delay the process to begin
- 2:59Speaker 1: what we want? Our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why
- 3:03Speaker 1: won't you start your mission today? Why don't we all
- 3:07Speaker 1: decide together that just individually. Look, you're listening. You got
- 3:14Speaker 1: something that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition
- 3:17Speaker 1: of yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you
- 3:20Speaker 1: haven't accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's
- 3:26Speaker 1: got something that's that's on the table that they haven't
- 3:29Speaker 1: yet attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your
- 3:32Speaker 1: mission today? Stop the procrastination now, the procrastination is only
- 3:38Speaker 1: hurting you yourself. If you got a goal or aspiration,
- 3:43Speaker 1: a dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 3:47Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you're left off. Now.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You may have to accomplish a few more things since
- 3:54Speaker 1: you stop for a long period of time, but God
- 3:56Speaker 1: know where you left off. You can get back on track.
- 3:59Speaker 1: I look, man, this dream of being on TV since
- 4:02Speaker 1: I was a kid, and it got off track. Now
- 4:05Speaker 1: it got off track. I just kept it as one
- 4:08Speaker 1: of the dreams, and in some real dog moments when
- 4:11Speaker 1: it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I was
- 4:15Speaker 1: hanging on too was just the hope that one day
- 4:17Speaker 1: it could. But that's what faith is really about. Faith
- 4:21Speaker 1: is the belief in things that you cannot see. But
- 4:25Speaker 1: faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man, sometime
- 4:29Speaker 1: it just keep hope alive. Sometimes, you heard Jesse Jackson said,
- 4:33Speaker 1: just keep hope alive. Sometimes, Man, it's just the hope.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I was hanging on the hope. And I'm talking about
- 4:41Speaker 1: when it got real ugly and funky out there for me,
- 4:44Speaker 1: when it looked like I wasn't gonna ever make it,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and all of the facts was in and everything pointed
- 4:51Speaker 1: in the direction you're not gonna make it. You don't
- 4:53Speaker 1: really messed up this time. Then I sat there and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I just hung on to the hope. But man, that's
- 5:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a dream on aspiration
- 5:04Speaker 1: of vision or something, when you fall off track and
- 5:08Speaker 1: you want to go get back in line, God holds
- 5:11Speaker 1: your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 5:14Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 5:17Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 5:19Speaker 1: be on TV that when you get it together and
- 5:22Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line,
- 5:26Speaker 1: then we're gonna finish your journey. That took me a
- 5:28Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, But
- 5:31Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 5:33Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 5:36Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 5:38Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 5:43Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Naw, I
- 5:46Speaker 1: have stories to tell, I got experiences to share, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 5:53Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I've been through enough whereas relatable,
- 5:58Speaker 1: where enough people can go. Man, that happened to me.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Appreciate you saying that, that's what it was for. See,
- 6:04Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I
- 6:06Speaker 1: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 6:09Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 6:12Speaker 1: lot of stuff He was pulling off on me, But
- 6:15Speaker 1: in essence, I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 6:18Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 6:20Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 6:25Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 6:30Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me. He said, because, man,
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 6:38Speaker 1: for you that it is going to be far and above.
- 6:41Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 6:45Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 6:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today
- 6:56Speaker 1: now as he threw it me. Yet Nope, Have I
- 6:59Speaker 1: arrived jet Nope? But guess what the journey is cool?
- 7:05Speaker 1: You know. It's like I was talking to this young
- 7:06Speaker 1: brother the other day about comedy. He's really good stand up.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know, this young dude is really good. He said, Man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: what is this I feel every night before I go
- 7:17Speaker 1: on stage. I don't know what it is. I just
- 7:20Speaker 1: wanted off me, I said, sir, listen to me, you
- 7:23Speaker 1: young dude. This thing that climbs on my back every
- 7:27Speaker 1: night before I go on stage. I don't know what
- 7:29Speaker 1: it is. It's got something to do with pressure, It's
- 7:33Speaker 1: got something to do with anticipation. It's got a whole
- 7:36Speaker 1: lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 7:38Speaker 1: what you mean by that? I said, every night I
- 7:41Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 7:43Speaker 1: and step off a cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling.
- 7:47Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 7:50Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 7:55Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these joe provide
- 8:00Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 8:05Speaker 1: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 8:08Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way and I swing
- 8:10Speaker 1: them back over that way. We might swing out to
- 8:13Speaker 1: the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami with
- 8:17Speaker 1: this joke. We may take it on out to LA
- 8:19Speaker 1: and I just swing back and forth till I land softly.
- 8:22Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The night is over with, I said,
- 8:26Speaker 1: but it's been too many nights though. When I walked
- 8:28Speaker 1: off that cliff and I pulled the cord in, the
- 8:30Speaker 1: parachute didn't open. I said, Now I'm just free falling
- 8:34Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working. Ain't
- 8:36Speaker 1: the parachute didn't open. I said, so see that's what
- 8:40Speaker 1: it's like for me. And then you know what I
- 8:43Speaker 1: found out. If you didn't walked off the cliff in life,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and you ain't got no God in your life, it's
- 8:49Speaker 1: like not having a parachute. You step off the cliff
- 8:53Speaker 1: and you just free falling. Now see we all Now
- 8:57Speaker 1: that fall gets you closer to the grave, right, see
- 9:00Speaker 1: all head into the grave from the moment we're born.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 9:05Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 9:08Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 9:11Speaker 1: nice ride, and God just helps your your descent appear
- 9:16Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Instead of not having no God in your life and
- 9:23Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day, free falling.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, you steady pulling, you hauling the
- 9:30Speaker 1: whole way because you've messed around with yourself and ain't
- 9:33Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 9:36Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute, since I
- 9:39Speaker 1: got to jump every day than to not have one.
- 9:43Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 9:47Speaker 1: why where that came from? I can't tell you. But
- 9:50Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 9:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain. It's usually him. You're listening, ladies,
- 10:02Speaker 1: I said, ladies and gentlemen, man, have your attention please.
- 10:06Speaker 1: This is the Steve Harvey Morning Show, live and in color.
- 10:12Speaker 1: This color portion, it's just simply provided by the people.
- 10:17Speaker 1: This aun it and the type of commentary that we
- 10:20Speaker 1: will preside. This is not a racial issue. This is
- 10:23Speaker 1: just in living color. As in the TV show, the
- 10:27Speaker 1: famous show by the way as Brothers that was in
- 10:30Speaker 1: living color when televisions first came out with it. That
- 10:35Speaker 1: was your TV was in color. We have that The
- 10:39Speaker 1: Peacock on NBC was known for its color. That's what
- 10:45Speaker 1: we're referring to. That's what it is, a little history lesson.
- 10:50Speaker 1: If you didn't get it, don't worry about it. I
- 10:52Speaker 1: didn't either. Shirley Strawberry, forget about it. Kay, Good morning Steve, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: calor for real and living color. What's going on? What's up? Junior?
- 11:06Speaker 1: Morning Up, Morning everybody? That was my show boy, Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 1: Marshall Bale, Junior, Michael Little Low, Nephew Tommy and living
- 11:16Speaker 1: color hated it. Yeah, but sister, can't can't do that anymore.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But super funny. Right, yeah, yeah, he was trying to
- 11:31Speaker 1: climb to two different absolutely absolutely, and comedy you know
- 11:37Speaker 1: suffers more than I think anyone any any field, right, Steve, Yeah,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think I think only the guys who are unaffected
- 11:50Speaker 1: by sponsorships can go out there and say what they
- 11:53Speaker 1: want to say. Anybody that's affected by sponsorship has to
- 11:57Speaker 1: lay low like a Dave Chappelle. Oh, Dave Chappelle is
- 12:01Speaker 1: not effectives the greatest comedy special I've seen since Richard
- 12:07Speaker 1: Pry so great. I'll tell you something else. The man
- 12:11Speaker 1: that dude on a Survivor on on the UFC. Joe Rogan,
- 12:16Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, Man watch his Netflix comedy special, Joe
- 12:22Speaker 1: Rugger Joe Joe Rogan. Very very funny. He got the
- 12:27Speaker 1: black shirt boy had me holland only one little section
- 12:30Speaker 1: threw me a little bit. But other than that, half
- 12:32Speaker 1: boy was funny. Man. Man, he always been funny. I'm
- 12:40Speaker 1: talking about I'm talking about bark out funny. You know.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I never saw him because I just thought he was
- 12:46Speaker 1: the I didn't know he did stand up for real.
- 12:49Speaker 1: I saw a special man. I was completely impressed. Man.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Probably second funniest thing I've seen all right, I mean
- 12:57Speaker 1: that's on that right. No, very very funny. Coal Hearted
- 13:03Speaker 1: was another funny specialist, saw Oh from black Ye's coal
- 13:11Speaker 1: Hearted was funny man. He was funny, got good rhythms. Yeah,
- 13:15Speaker 1: he's a funny guy. And there's an Italian dude got
- 13:18Speaker 1: a special I saw. I'll tell you what soon I
- 13:21Speaker 1: get his name. That was funny. Okay, okay, watch my
- 13:26Speaker 1: comment review for the day. I know. I'm just glad
- 13:29Speaker 1: you've you've watched some things, all right? Coming up at
- 13:32Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour inside of something funny,
- 13:35Speaker 1: what's something your parents did when you were a kid
- 13:37Speaker 1: that a parent could never do? Now? We'll talk about
- 13:41Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to all right, here
- 13:46Speaker 1: we go, guys, here's the question. Uh, what's something that
- 13:50Speaker 1: your parents did when we were when you were a kid,
- 13:53Speaker 1: all right, that a parent could never do? Now? Uh,
- 13:57Speaker 1: here's an email Steve from Joe and for genuine It says,
- 14:01Speaker 1: Hey Steve Morning Show crew. Uh, there's so many things
- 14:04Speaker 1: my parents did when I was a kid that would
- 14:06Speaker 1: be considered horrible now. Things like leaving me in the
- 14:10Speaker 1: car while they ran into the store. My pops a
- 14:13Speaker 1: beer on a hot summer day while driving. I thought
- 14:22Speaker 1: that was yeah, back when life was good. Right, So
- 14:26Speaker 1: my question is did your parents do things that would
- 14:28Speaker 1: be considered illegal now? And what were they not illegal? Yeah?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Or I mean just like his parents? Yeah, leaving you
- 14:39Speaker 1: in the car ass whooped at Woolworth and Woolacoake. Did
- 14:45Speaker 1: I just say that? Do you try and who there? Yeah?
- 14:56Speaker 1: You did tell me. I know you tried, and it
- 14:58Speaker 1: sounded didn't know who didn't know? Yeah, well that's all
- 15:06Speaker 1: that's true. We all know about the mansw But my
- 15:09Speaker 1: my mama and them had the people down the street
- 15:12Speaker 1: beat me. College people down the street was allowed to
- 15:18Speaker 1: get me, miss Brown? Miss What did I do being
- 15:25Speaker 1: a boy? Yeah? You know, jumped over the fish in
- 15:30Speaker 1: her garden anything, you know, fire crackers in her garden, anything,
- 15:37Speaker 1: just blowing up everything. How about guys riding in the
- 15:51Speaker 1: car with no seat belts, but your mama know how
- 15:55Speaker 1: to throw that hand? Could stay hand up and hang
- 16:01Speaker 1: my head out to winder like a dog. Yeah, and
- 16:05Speaker 1: with these big ass lips, I'll be looking out the
- 16:08Speaker 1: wind that couldn't see nothing. Get your lips down. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's a lot different now, oh man. Yeah, yeah, I
- 16:18Speaker 1: don't remember car seats, none of that. Remember six kids
- 16:25Speaker 1: in the back seat. Yeah, my little cousin fell out
- 16:27Speaker 1: of the car. We didn't know it. Had to circle
- 16:29Speaker 1: around and go back, go back, my cousin to Sheryeah,
- 16:35Speaker 1: fell out the car. The rent a car and they
- 16:38Speaker 1: damn had to turn around, that's all and got the baby,
- 16:43Speaker 1: picked her up, starting back to driving again smoking. Hold
- 16:48Speaker 1: on anywhere? Huh? Hold on sitting in the back of
- 16:52Speaker 1: a pickup truck in a lawn chair. Oh, that's so
- 16:56Speaker 1: illegal now in the church, going to church to log
- 17:05Speaker 1: chairs in the back of a pickup the church before
- 17:10Speaker 1: the struggle was real. Back then, they don't even know.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Give up. Tie your dog to a tree outside of
- 17:19Speaker 1: fat For years, years, decades, flower, they didn't live in
- 17:27Speaker 1: the house season, sleep in the bath with you, work,
- 17:32Speaker 1: doesn't get your ass outside and get to be in
- 17:35Speaker 1: the dog. You didn't walk your dog every day. Now
- 17:40Speaker 1: you walk around the tree dog. That ground wasn't wasn't
- 17:45Speaker 1: no damn poopa scooper picking anybody picking that if you
- 17:51Speaker 1: stepped in and you just stepped in it, look where
- 17:55Speaker 1: you remember you was eight though, if you were eight
- 17:58Speaker 1: or nine, we got sent to the store. Go get
- 18:00Speaker 1: some thunderbird and go get about six and some cigarettes.
- 18:04Speaker 1: Cigarettes come yeah, yeah, old kid came by. No cigarettes,
- 18:11Speaker 1: no more. And then sometimes they would sending you with
- 18:15Speaker 1: a note for the cigarettes saying that the parents gave
- 18:19Speaker 1: the kid permission. You would give it to the man
- 18:21Speaker 1: in the store and they would give you the SI.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Mister Mars dealer contested in the hood, he didn't give
- 18:25Speaker 1: it them who came in there. You got the from me.
- 18:31Speaker 1: If you want to, you could be five and buy
- 18:34Speaker 1: a fifth, you know, because because you know, back in
- 18:41Speaker 1: the day you posted about your looking from the state store, right,
- 18:45Speaker 1: oh okay, yeah, when they had what was called state stores,
- 18:49Speaker 1: or you bought your hard state stores. You could buy
- 18:52Speaker 1: wine and stuff from a store, but hard looker so
- 18:55Speaker 1: they could tax it was called the state store. Okay,
- 19:00Speaker 1: are listening store right now? See see mister Moore would
- 19:04Speaker 1: buy a lot of liquor from the State store and
- 19:08Speaker 1: slightly mark it up for you wouldn't have to go
- 19:11Speaker 1: to the state store. You just come down here to
- 19:13Speaker 1: the corner store and get because he knew what they
- 19:15Speaker 1: drank Canadian winds or Ian j Christian brothers. Now they
- 19:24Speaker 1: had that old liquor. But old Forrester. But when you
- 19:31Speaker 1: poured it in you had to have like, you know, conversation,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this. It was Louis or nothing like that.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You had to really focus, man to drink back in
- 19:49Speaker 1: the day like that ever clip unlitted gasoline. That's the
- 19:57Speaker 1: one Uncle stayed on it. You couldn't smell gold down.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Then bring me a fifthful, bumpy face and tell the
- 20:08Speaker 1: town that they know you. They know it's all. That's
- 20:14Speaker 1: all you had to had to get it. My dad
- 20:16Speaker 1: is this slick up, stupid ass, Well I know who
- 20:20Speaker 1: he is. He can't talk studying the get out the
- 20:23Speaker 1: way so I can make this money. Why are you
- 20:25Speaker 1: spitting all over the counter stuff? Joy as oct the way.
- 20:29Speaker 1: All right, guys, coming up next never you tell me
- 20:32Speaker 1: he's run that prank back right after this. You're listening

- 20:46Speaker 1: in the family photo. Plus Billy D william says he
- 20:50Speaker 1: sees himself as feminine and masculine. We'll talk about all
- 20:55Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour. Right now
- 20:58Speaker 1: it is time for the nephew to run that prank back.

- 21:27Speaker 1: How you doing. My name is Darren. I'm with the
- 21:30Speaker 1: Homeowners Association. Oh okay, hey, dare how you doing? Listen? Um,
- 21:37Speaker 1: we gotta we got a bit of a problem if
- 21:40Speaker 1: you don't mind me asking, who's who? Who actually brings
- 21:43Speaker 1: your kids on from school? Uh? Each day? Oh, my
- 21:48Speaker 1: mom gets my kids for me and she drops them off. Okay, okay, okay,
- 21:54Speaker 1: Well we have a we have a bit of a problem.
- 21:57Speaker 1: The kids are fine. That's there's no issue with the
- 21:59Speaker 1: kids are all. But you know, we've had a meeting
- 22:02Speaker 1: here at the HLA. We've been getting some complaints. Uh
- 22:06Speaker 1: it seems like your mother is is uh really speeding
- 22:11Speaker 1: down the street real fast, and you know everyone's complaining
- 22:16Speaker 1: about it that you know, it's a lot of kids
- 22:18Speaker 1: walking home from school and it seems like your mom
- 22:21Speaker 1: is driving real fast when she's coming down the street
- 22:24Speaker 1: to drop your kids off. If you know anything about this,
- 22:28Speaker 1: uh no, not at all. That doesn't even sound like her. Okay,
- 22:33Speaker 1: what type of card? Uh let me ask you this, Natalie.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We're we're we're from what I understand, it is a
- 22:42Speaker 1: what kind of car does your mom had? Is a
- 22:45Speaker 1: board escape or something like that? From a little suv? Do?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Is that what your mom has? Yeah? She has a
- 22:51Speaker 1: little red stuv. Okay, all right, So the problem is
- 22:58Speaker 1: that that that's the same car, that's the one we're
- 23:00Speaker 1: talking about. And it seems like, you know, your mother
- 23:03Speaker 1: is is flying down the street and she drops the
- 23:06Speaker 1: kids off, and when she leaves, she's flying back out
- 23:09Speaker 1: of the neighborhood and a couple of times some of
- 23:11Speaker 1: the neighbors have told her to slow down, and you know,
- 23:14Speaker 1: I don't know if she's flicked them off or set
- 23:17Speaker 1: something out the window, you know, but you know, this
- 23:20Speaker 1: is stuff that we just cannot tolerate. Huh. Well, it
- 23:25Speaker 1: really doesn't sound like my mom. But you know, okay,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you know what, Natalie, what we're not gonna do is
- 23:31Speaker 1: what you're not gonna do is act like it's not
- 23:33Speaker 1: your mamma. It's your mother that's doing this. So what
- 23:36Speaker 1: we need you to do is tell your mama to
- 23:38Speaker 1: slow up down so we don't ask problem, all right,
- 23:41Speaker 1: because I tried to be nice with you at first.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But if you're gonna be a denial figure it's not
- 23:45Speaker 1: your mamma, then we got issue. First of all, daring
- 23:50Speaker 1: from h O A. I need you to watch your
- 23:53Speaker 1: charls and who you're talking to, all right. I need
- 23:56Speaker 1: you to climb that all the way down. All right.
- 24:01Speaker 1: You need to slow your damn mama down. That's what
- 24:03Speaker 1: you need to do. Slow your mama way she drive.
- 24:06Speaker 1: What she can do is stand in the middle of
- 24:08Speaker 1: the street and she flying down and so hopefully she
- 24:10Speaker 1: can knock you out the way. Okay, don't talk to
- 24:13Speaker 1: me like that. You're being ruined, disrespectful. I don't ask
- 24:16Speaker 1: her if it's her, because I don't think it's hard.
- 24:18Speaker 1: But you're not gonna talk to me like that, okay.
- 24:21Speaker 1: So your mama can just drive down the streets and
- 24:23Speaker 1: I can say what she want to do, what I'm
- 24:26Speaker 1: gonna do. Whatever she want to do. She a grown
- 24:29Speaker 1: has done. She can't do it in the neighborhood that
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm a member of the h o an. She can't
- 24:34Speaker 1: do it there. Okay, So I don't know whatever your
- 24:36Speaker 1: mama arrested with your kids in the car. If I
- 24:39Speaker 1: got to, I wish you would. I wish you would
- 24:43Speaker 1: have my mama arrested with my kids in the car.
- 24:45Speaker 1: You're gonna have more problems than you ever had. Okay,
- 24:48Speaker 1: you bet not have my mama arrested. You gonna get
- 24:52Speaker 1: arrested and you're gonna be sent to the hospital. How
- 24:54Speaker 1: about that. Okay, let me tell yourself to tell your
- 24:58Speaker 1: mama so slow hor down in the streets. This the
- 25:01Speaker 1: last one, and I'm giving y'all this the last one.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Well you know what I'm saying. You ain't got to
- 25:06Speaker 1: give no one And it's okay. We can have a
- 25:08Speaker 1: real conversation about it. We can meet and talk about it,
- 25:11Speaker 1: because you ain't gonna talk to me like that, say
- 25:13Speaker 1: you and I ain't telling my mama nothing. I ain't
- 25:15Speaker 1: comeing out of small own thing. Not that what you're
- 25:17Speaker 1: gonna do. What's your mom today? Matter? Fact, must meet
- 25:21Speaker 1: about it, and I'm not bringing my husband too. Says
- 25:23Speaker 1: you got so much to say? You don't say, I
- 25:26Speaker 1: don't want you to kiss that same energy. Okay, with
- 25:29Speaker 1: my husband, I want you to talk to him like
- 25:31Speaker 1: you talking to me. I literally tell you something. I
- 25:34Speaker 1: ain't worry about your husband and none of that. All right,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna say I'm gonna say this right here. I'm
- 25:39Speaker 1: gonna say this right here. Tommy is the one that
- 25:41Speaker 1: told us that your mamma was speaking out the street.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Comedy One said it, Tommy, put it over with Timmy.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Tommy said your mamma was the one running up and
- 25:52Speaker 1: down the street fast going part of fifty mile and out.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Comedy One said that, I don't know who Timmy, but
- 25:58Speaker 1: Tommy can kiss my all. You can kiss my and
- 26:02Speaker 1: any other neighbors who got something to say about my
- 26:04Speaker 1: mama can kiss my about that. Gonna shoot it, le
- 26:08Speaker 1: me shoot it. Do you know nephew Tommy from a
- 26:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning show? Do you know who? Stop a
- 26:17Speaker 1: bosh me? How are you going through? Mike's God like
- 26:34Speaker 1: the phone talking questions to me about to get you
- 26:38Speaker 1: wished up? Brother? Let's you Tommy, you'll to the Darius
- 26:43Speaker 1: got me to play fall call you baby always going down?

- 27:28Speaker 1: And then you have it? Yeah? Can you play too

- 27:43Speaker 1: is the Met Philadelphia. That's Frida d d Center, the
- 27:46Speaker 1: twenty of You Got The One and Only Jay and
- 27:48Speaker 1: Anthony Brown Kill Junior Spates hosted by Yours Julie, an
- 27:52Speaker 1: earthquake in the Bill, And it's the Holiday Comedy Jam
- 27:56Speaker 1: w ds FM hosted by Bill. Then we will be there.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Yeah seen, Hey Drake straight ignorant? Yeah. Um, I'm ready
- 28:07Speaker 1: to love last weekend? How's it going? It looks really
- 28:11Speaker 1: Ready to Love is going? But the numbers are through
- 28:13Speaker 1: the roof. Yeah, because I watched it all the time.
- 28:15Speaker 1: What you need to know, shirt girl, I'm gonna tell
- 28:20Speaker 1: you reality update on Thursday. I'm gonna break the whole
- 28:22Speaker 1: show down. We'll go here everything I know, every single thing.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Sit back, no shirt to catch up, really catch it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: It's so good because I promise you you're gonna like it.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But it's some It's some beautiful ladies on that and
- 28:38Speaker 1: some nice brothers on that, but man, it's touched. All right.
- 28:46Speaker 1: We'll just advice give that's who and you do your job.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Up coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment
- 28:53Speaker 1: and national news that's coming up right after this. You're
- 28:57Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. So, In
- 29:02Speaker 1: an interview with Esquire magazine, eighty two year old Billy
- 29:06Speaker 1: D Williams says he sees himself as feminine as well
- 29:10Speaker 1: as masculine. Billy D said, I've never tried to be
- 29:13Speaker 1: anything except myself. I think of myself as a relatively
- 29:16Speaker 1: colorful character who doesn't take himself or herself too seriously,
- 29:21Speaker 1: he explains. And you see I say himself and herself
- 29:24Speaker 1: because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine.
- 29:28Speaker 1: I'm a very soft person. I'm not afraid to show
- 29:30Speaker 1: that side of myself, all right. Lando Calrissian, Yeah, Hey,
- 29:34Speaker 1: when I started getting old, y'all stopped me. Okay, from
- 29:39Speaker 1: what CHRISTI d I've just noticed a pattern when we
- 29:46Speaker 1: is buck me and get old, we started running out.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Damn well stop me, y'all stop me if I start
- 29:54Speaker 1: seeing still. You know I've always wondered, you know, h Steve, Yeah,
- 30:02Speaker 1: come stop me, bring it in. She called C called
- 30:06Speaker 1: C listen. Uh. Once Quincy's kids, Quincy's daughter had to
- 30:10Speaker 1: go get him. Ye, daddy, daddy. Yeah, he had started
- 30:17Speaker 1: retracting statement, Billy Billy kids don't come for him too. Now.
- 30:21Speaker 1: I just had I had Billy d. Williams on the
- 30:23Speaker 1: last season on my talk show William December Williams. What
- 30:26Speaker 1: he say? Still I had so I just had him
- 30:29Speaker 1: as a special guest on Harvey's Hundreds. It was sort
- 30:32Speaker 1: of crazy, man. I wanted to sit down and talk
- 30:33Speaker 1: with him, but you know, I just had him on
- 30:37Speaker 1: the show. He still had it walked out and he
- 30:39Speaker 1: was Billy de bed vel his shoes on. I said,
- 30:44Speaker 1: I am definitely gonna keep it pimping at this age,
- 30:49Speaker 1: I will not be making sad statements. Okay. When he
- 30:56Speaker 1: said he got a soft side or a feminine side,
- 30:59Speaker 1: what is that? That's what he means that's what he
- 31:01Speaker 1: meant that he said. Yeah, yeah, it's very clear that
- 31:04Speaker 1: he sees himself as feminine as well as masculine. He's
- 31:07Speaker 1: a very soft person and he's not afraid to show
- 31:10Speaker 1: that side of him. I don't think he was saying
- 31:12Speaker 1: that he wasn't a man, or that he wasn't right.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I don't think, yeah, not at all. He's just embracing
- 31:18Speaker 1: his femininity. You know. He sees some other that in himself,
- 31:22Speaker 1: and he's I mean people look, look, I mean people
- 31:24Speaker 1: say real men don't cry, but then what that say
- 31:28Speaker 1: about me? Ye? Man, Yeah, he shouldn't know him some moments, man, Yeah, yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: and he really I understand it. But if I go
- 31:39Speaker 1: further than that, just stop me. And he says, yeah,
- 31:42Speaker 1: he doesn't take him for you know, I bought dinner
- 31:50Speaker 1: one time for him he started crying. Yeah I didn't
- 31:55Speaker 1: because I didn't think we was gonna be pay I know, Steve.
- 32:04Speaker 1: But you can catch Billy d and the movie Star
- 32:08Speaker 1: Wars The Rise of star Walker The Rise of Skywalker
- 32:11Speaker 1: that opens December twenty. If that will be the latest
- 32:14Speaker 1: installment of the Star Wars um series, uh D Wade
- 32:19Speaker 1: fires back at social media trolls for criticizing his son,
- 32:22Speaker 1: Zion's appearance in the family photo. D Wade came out
- 32:28Speaker 1: what they say He's defending his twelve year old son Zion,
- 32:31Speaker 1: after internet trolls criticized his appearance in a family photo.
- 32:34Speaker 1: The instagram uh picture shows Wade, of course, Gabrielle Union,
- 32:39Speaker 1: his son Zion, and baby Cavia next to each other
- 32:42Speaker 1: on the stairs. Most people compliment at the photo. Some
- 32:45Speaker 1: haters took issue with Zion's manicured nails and crop top um,
- 32:51Speaker 1: so Dwayne Wade said, I've seen some posts thanksgiving, hate,
- 32:55Speaker 1: unsocial about my family photo. Stupidity is a part of
- 32:58Speaker 1: the world we live in, so I get it. But
- 33:00Speaker 1: here's the thing. I've been chosen to leave my family,
- 33:03Speaker 1: not y'all, so we will continue to be us and
- 33:05Speaker 1: support each other with pride, love and a smile. There
- 33:08Speaker 1: you go, all right, that's right. See, yeah, I got
- 33:14Speaker 1: something to say about that afterwards. Are we doing it's
- 33:16Speaker 1: saying right now? Yeah, let's ladies and gentlemen, Miss ann Trip,
- 33:21Speaker 1: thank you very much everybody, and good morning. The Impeachment
- 33:23Speaker 1: and Career now moves from the House Intelligence Committee to
- 33:26Speaker 1: the Judiciary Panel, which will decide whether or not to
- 33:29Speaker 1: bring articles of impeachment against President Trump, specifically for allegedly
- 33:33Speaker 1: abusing his power in pressing Ukraine into investigating potential political
- 33:37Speaker 1: rival Joe Biden and his son. Now, the Intelligence Committee
- 33:40Speaker 1: gives a panel its report today and then tomorrow the
- 33:43Speaker 1: panelist to hold a public hearing focusing on the definition
- 33:46Speaker 1: of an impeachable offense like what is it? A full
- 33:49Speaker 1: House vote on impeachment is expected by the end of
- 33:51Speaker 1: this month. Trump administrations proposed three changes to the Supplement
- 33:55Speaker 1: on Nutrition Assistance program. That's SNAP, that's the food stamp program,
- 33:58Speaker 1: and a Watchdoor. Watchdog group says the teams will greatly
- 34:02Speaker 1: greatly reduce the number of Americans who are eligible for
- 34:05Speaker 1: food stamps close to four million. Few Americans will be
- 34:08Speaker 1: eligible for food stamps after that. Meanwhile, the US unemployment
- 34:12Speaker 1: rate remains that a fifty year low. But the downside
- 34:14Speaker 1: is that nearly half of Americans are employed in low
- 34:17Speaker 1: wage jaws, paying a media and annual wage of only
- 34:19Speaker 1: eighteen thousand dollars a year. That's going to the Brookings Institution,
- 34:23Speaker 1: and contrary to public opinion, those positions are not being
- 34:26Speaker 1: held by teenagers or young adults. Most of those fifty
- 34:29Speaker 1: three million low wage workers say the survey says between
- 34:33Speaker 1: are between the ages of twenty five and fifty four.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Those are the prime working years, and that even though
- 34:37Speaker 1: the economy is adding more jobs, many of those positions
- 34:40Speaker 1: do not offer the kind of wages and benefits required
- 34:43Speaker 1: to get ahead or even brick even. Chicago Mayor Laurie
- 34:46Speaker 1: Lightfoot made a shocking announcement yesterday. She said she was
- 34:48Speaker 1: firing police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, just weeks before he was
- 34:52Speaker 1: set to retire. His termination related to us being found
- 34:55Speaker 1: in his car back in October asleep he was outside
- 34:57Speaker 1: of his home. He insisted he fell out because of
- 34:59Speaker 1: his heartiac medication. However, he has now admitted that he
- 35:02Speaker 1: had a couple of drinks with dinner that night, which
- 35:04Speaker 1: didn't sit well with the Mayor. Eddie Johnson intentionally lied
- 35:07Speaker 1: to me several times. He maintained that he was telling
- 35:10Speaker 1: the truth. I now know definitively that he was not.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Had I known these facts at the time, I would
- 35:16Speaker 1: have relieved him of his duties as superintendent then and there.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I certainly would not have participated in a celebratory press
- 35:23Speaker 1: conference to announce his retirement. Mister Johnson failed the hard
- 35:26Speaker 1: working members of the Chicago Police Department. He intentionally misled
- 35:30Speaker 1: the people of Chicago, and he intentionally misled me. None
- 35:34Speaker 1: of that is acceptable. Firing Chief Johnson may mean his
- 35:36Speaker 1: loss of the pension he's worked to accrue all the
- 35:38Speaker 1: many years he's been an officer. There are people in
- 35:40Speaker 1: the community who feel that Mayor Life was being a
- 35:42Speaker 1: little bit too hard. US Appeals Court in Washington refusing
- 35:45Speaker 1: to allow the Trump administration to start executing federal death
- 35:48Speaker 1: Row inmates this month. Today is National Hooks On one Month.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I will now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:57Speaker 1: You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. A right, see if
- 36:01Speaker 1: you wanted to comment on us. You know something it
- 36:05Speaker 1: amazes me. You know Duane Way Gavin their family on
- 36:09Speaker 1: the steps and they posted a picture, right, and then
- 36:11Speaker 1: they come out against his son. You know what. It
- 36:16Speaker 1: amazes me how people have no idea what parenting is like.
- 36:22Speaker 1: You know, people don't know what that is until you
- 36:26Speaker 1: have children. You do not know what parenting is and
- 36:31Speaker 1: you do not know that in loving your children unconditionally
- 36:38Speaker 1: is a part of parenting that you have to accept,
- 36:43Speaker 1: understand and deal with all types of things as a parent.
- 36:48Speaker 1: These people kill me who have no regard for parent
- 36:51Speaker 1: making statements. I wouldn't allow that if I was a parent.
- 36:54Speaker 1: You don't have a choice. You don't have a choice.
- 36:59Speaker 1: People get to make decisions that they want to make.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It has nothing to do with you being a great parent,
- 37:08Speaker 1: a bad parent, a questionable parent. It's called unconditional love.
- 37:14Speaker 1: That you love your children in spite of anything that
- 37:19Speaker 1: comes down. They wait, that's what love. It don't matter man,
- 37:25Speaker 1: what they do, what they say, how they get caught
- 37:28Speaker 1: out there. Your job as the parent is to love
- 37:31Speaker 1: them unconditionally. And if you don't have children, you can't
- 37:37Speaker 1: know that. It's easy to sit around and say what
- 37:40Speaker 1: you wouldn't do, with what you wouldn't allow, and how
- 37:42Speaker 1: they let that hai he hashi, Hey man. Until you
- 37:46Speaker 1: get kids, you have no idea what parenting is about. None,
- 37:53Speaker 1: And when you do, you're gonna find out. And for
- 37:56Speaker 1: those of you with young kilds, your children talking about
- 37:58Speaker 1: when my kids get there, I ain't don't let that.
- 38:00Speaker 1: You know, stop stop stop, you don't know. I trust me,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you don't know, Yeah, no matter what the situation, And
- 38:12Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something because I've made mistakes, but
- 38:15Speaker 1: my parents never knew about it. Cause guess what what
- 38:18Speaker 1: no phone cameras what? No? You know? Social media? Oh boy,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I did some stuff that would have shamed the family,
- 38:28Speaker 1: but I got away with it because it wasn't. Well,
- 38:31Speaker 1: that's not the situation anymore. And now our kids are
- 38:35Speaker 1: subject to the opinions of other people. And now you
- 38:39Speaker 1: get to watch everybody's life played out whether they wanted
- 38:42Speaker 1: to or not. It's so crazy, man, so so crazy.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Can't do it in secret anymore. No, But I support
- 38:55Speaker 1: the Wade family. I think they're great. I think they're
- 38:58Speaker 1: doing I think they're doing what great parents do. Yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I do love how supportive they are of each other
- 39:07Speaker 1: very much. So what you're gonna do, You're gonna run
- 39:11Speaker 1: them off? All right? Coming up more of the Steve
- 39:15Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to show
- 39:21Speaker 1: so Saturday Night Live Star and also stand up comedian
- 39:24Speaker 1: Pete Davidson required his fans to sign a one million
- 39:28Speaker 1: dollar non disclosure agreement that's an NBA before attending his
- 39:33Speaker 1: recent stand up comedy shows. The contract states that attendees
- 39:37Speaker 1: cannot discuss any details of the show or your experiences
- 39:42Speaker 1: at this event, that includes on social media platforms all
- 39:46Speaker 1: of that. Ticket Holders who chose not to sign the
- 39:49Speaker 1: NBA were not allowed into the shows, but were given
- 39:53Speaker 1: full refunds. The contract received backlash online, with some calling
- 39:57Speaker 1: Pete Davidson overbearing and other it's accusing him of not
- 40:01Speaker 1: wanting to face possible criticism over jokes. So, Steve, I
- 40:05Speaker 1: gotta ask you, uh what? First of all, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 40:16Speaker 1: wait wait, what's who the hell is Pete Davis? That's
- 40:24Speaker 1: a million dollar NDA? Who? Okay, Okay, let me tell
- 40:29Speaker 1: m Richard Prying asked for that. The Kings ain't asked
- 40:33Speaker 1: for Kevin Harsh, He ain't asked for Who the hell
- 40:37Speaker 1: is Pete Davis? Okay, you may know him if I
- 40:41Speaker 1: tell you who he's dated, Steve, Okay, because that's also
- 40:45Speaker 1: very newsworthy. It's always in the news who he's dated.
- 40:47Speaker 1: He's dated Ariana Grande for instance, He's dated actress Kate Beckinsale,
- 40:53Speaker 1: and lately he's dating Cindy Crawford's daughter. Um, Cindy Crawford's daughter. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:00Speaker 1: still don't know. I don't I don't have a picture yet.
- 41:04Speaker 1: I dated mal but MOR's cousin. Ain't nobody said damn
- 41:12Speaker 1: sid and Arianna Grande? Yes, yes, I dated Michelle Pierce.
- 41:20Speaker 1: If you'd have seen huh she was gorgeous. Little Arianna Grande,
- 41:29Speaker 1: she cute and all. Yeah, and she's started telling him right, Oh,
- 41:32Speaker 1: she cute, cute as she want to be. Who that's
- 41:37Speaker 1: my favorite? Who? Boy? He must be bad? Could you
- 41:46Speaker 1: keep going talking about boy? I'm talking about strong. Shouldn't
- 41:51Speaker 1: have been talking about he go he got a sign
- 41:53Speaker 1: off one million dollars in DA nobody talking about you?
- 41:58Speaker 1: How good is these jokes? Yeah? Yeah, he's requiring his
- 42:02Speaker 1: fans to sign that because, um, that's what he that's
- 42:05Speaker 1: what he wants. He doesn't want anybody talking about his jokes.
- 42:10Speaker 1: You can't, donk just take their phone if you don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: want it. Yeah, that's what Dave Dave Chappelle does. Put
- 42:16Speaker 1: him in phone jail. Chris Rock too, Yeah, put the
- 42:20Speaker 1: phone in the zip it up. That's it, phone jail. Yeah.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Oh man. You ever have people in the eye of
- 42:26Speaker 1: the give if they hit you, yeah, yeah, take it
- 42:30Speaker 1: right on that. But if you don't want get money
- 42:33Speaker 1: from no black people, no way. Yeah, we ain't gonna

- 53:58Speaker 1: this one right here, right now. Buggle up, hold on tight.
- 54:03Speaker 1: We got it for you here. It is a straw
- 54:05Speaker 1: baby letter. Subject my mom loves taking care of young'uns.
- 54:09Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. My mother and I are very close
- 54:12Speaker 1: and lived together. We recently relocated to a new city
- 54:16Speaker 1: a few months ago because of my new job. My
- 54:19Speaker 1: mother is retired and loves to go play bingo, and
- 54:23Speaker 1: she goes to the casino weekly. She also likes to
- 54:26Speaker 1: date and entertain men that are too young for her.
- 54:30Speaker 1: My mother is in her late sixties and I'm in
- 54:32Speaker 1: my late forties. The guy is thirty six years old
- 54:37Speaker 1: and they spend a great deal of time together. He's
- 54:40Speaker 1: a cook at the bingo hall that she goes to,
- 54:42Speaker 1: and she says they hit it off instantly. I'm not
- 54:46Speaker 1: sure what an older woman would see in this man,
- 54:48Speaker 1: but I do know what he sees in her. My
- 54:51Speaker 1: mom is constantly with this guy and he comes over
- 54:55Speaker 1: and lounges around at our home. My mom even sold
- 54:59Speaker 1: him her older car, but whenever it's time for him
- 55:02Speaker 1: to make a payment, there is some kind of excuse,
- 55:04Speaker 1: or he spends the night with my mother so she
- 55:07Speaker 1: will forget about it. She always seems to find some
- 55:10Speaker 1: stray dogs and have pity on them. This guy has
- 55:13Speaker 1: new clothes and an upgrade to his lifestyle, so he's happy.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I confronted the guy when my mom wasn't around, and
- 55:20Speaker 1: I asked him if he was seeing anyone else, and
- 55:23Speaker 1: he told me to mind my business. This young man
- 55:26Speaker 1: is disrespectful and I want him to stay away from
- 55:30Speaker 1: my mom. It's like my mom is a teenager, so
- 55:33Speaker 1: if I talk to her about leaving this man alone,
- 55:36Speaker 1: this young man alone, it will only make her want
- 55:39Speaker 1: him more. How should I handle this? I've thought about
- 55:44Speaker 1: just letting it play out like her other flings do.
- 55:47Speaker 1: But I think this guy is slicker than the other
- 55:50Speaker 1: young men in the past. Am I totally out of line?
- 55:53Speaker 1: I know you guys will let me know, please help. Well,
- 55:57Speaker 1: it's not that you're out of line. I mean you
- 56:00Speaker 1: should care about your mother, especially if she's being played
- 56:04Speaker 1: by by this young man. But the problem is, here's
- 56:07Speaker 1: the problem, son or daughter. You didn't say which one. Uh,
- 56:11Speaker 1: your mom is good and grown, good and grown okay,
- 56:16Speaker 1: and uh, you can care. I think it's a daughter. Yeah,
- 56:19Speaker 1: you think it's a daughter. You Yeah, he keeps saying
- 56:25Speaker 1: my mom my, mom, my mom. And you know you
- 56:28Speaker 1: can care and all that you know and not like
- 56:31Speaker 1: the dude and everything, but you cannot tell your mom
- 56:35Speaker 1: what to do. I mean, sorry, she's in her late sixties.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Didn't you say that she is gonna do what she
- 56:42Speaker 1: wants to do, when she wants to do it and
- 56:44Speaker 1: who she wants to Okay, I mean, I'm sorry, but
- 56:49Speaker 1: the guy is right. You have to mind your own
- 56:51Speaker 1: business at this point and and just let it play
- 56:54Speaker 1: out like the other flings have played out, and support
- 56:57Speaker 1: your mom you know when it's over. But please let
- 57:00Speaker 1: the young man know that you are watching him, You
- 57:03Speaker 1: have your eyes on him, and he better not hurt
- 57:05Speaker 1: your mom or do you know, wrong her any more
- 57:09Speaker 1: than getting a few dollars from her and things like that. Uh,
- 57:13Speaker 1: definitely don't physically hurt her in any kind of way.
- 57:16Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, your mom's grown, She's gonna do
- 57:19Speaker 1: what she wants to do late sixties. Mind your own business.
- 57:22Speaker 1: That's that's pretty much the deal here, Steve. Yeah, well, Shirley,
- 57:27Speaker 1: because I know this letter is written by a woman,
- 57:29Speaker 1: because one line in this letter clarifies it. I confronted
- 57:35Speaker 1: the guy when my mom wasn't around, and I asked
- 57:38Speaker 1: him if he was seeing anyone else. He told me
- 57:40Speaker 1: to mind my business. If you say that to a
- 57:42Speaker 1: dude about his mama, that's an ass whoopy. As soon
- 57:46Speaker 1: as you say that to a man, are you seeing
- 57:50Speaker 1: anybody else? Mind your damn business my mama, dog, Yep,
- 57:55Speaker 1: that's a whoop. So that's it. It's a couple of
- 57:57Speaker 1: other things, but I just want to share that with Shell. Okay,
- 58:00Speaker 1: my mom, ladies taking care of younger. Um this I think.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I think it's a daughter and her mother. They're very close.
- 58:06Speaker 1: They lived together. She got a new job, the daughter
- 58:09Speaker 1: did and because of my new job, your mother, being retired,
- 58:13Speaker 1: loves to go play bingo and she goes to the
- 58:16Speaker 1: casino weekly. That's old people stuff. Old people love being. Now,
- 58:21Speaker 1: when you see young people that love being, it's cause
- 58:24Speaker 1: they own their way to becoming old people that love bingal.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Bingo is an old sport and they're good at it too.
- 58:32Speaker 1: They don't have five, six cards, eight cards. I can
- 58:36Speaker 1: only play with one card. I've been to bingo twice.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Hated it setting next to a chain smoker, and this
- 58:44Speaker 1: old white woman wore me out with a cigarette time. Yeah,
- 58:47Speaker 1: with a cigarette, and she had my twin cars. She
- 58:50Speaker 1: was just hitting them dots. So anyway, she also likes
- 58:55Speaker 1: to day and entertained men that are too young for
- 58:59Speaker 1: but mom in a late sixties I'm ember late forties.
- 59:02Speaker 1: The guy is thirty six. He's a cook at the
- 59:07Speaker 1: being Onna Haul that she goes to, and she's says
- 59:10Speaker 1: they hit it off instantly. I'm not sure what an
- 59:13Speaker 1: older woman was seeing this man. It's them wings. This
- 59:18Speaker 1: boy fies a mean ass chicken wings, and your mama said,
- 59:25Speaker 1: good lord, I can have this at the house too.
- 59:29Speaker 1: You're not sure where she sees in Hill. It's them
- 59:32Speaker 1: damn wings. Now the being Onna Hall. They have a
- 59:36Speaker 1: different kind of food because they don't want you staining
- 59:38Speaker 1: up the cards real bad. But they don't really care
- 59:41Speaker 1: no more because you don't turn the cards back in,
- 59:43Speaker 1: you throw them away. They're disposable, so he don't care
- 59:47Speaker 1: if it's greasy food. But the boy cook him me
- 59:49Speaker 1: and wing. Wow. My mom is constantly with this guy.
- 59:53Speaker 1: He comes over lounges at your house. Your mama sold
- 59:58Speaker 1: him her older cover with his timefold payment. There's an excuse,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: and then he spends a night and my mother and
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: near she'll forget about who young boy. Okay, Oh you
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: want your money, Well, let's go on into back. We're
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: something on your mind. Make you forget about it. Hold

- 1:01:16Speaker 1: code Carla. That's code Carla. All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject My mom loves taking
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: care of young UN's all right. We're assuming that this
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: is her mother daughter do old the young daughters, and
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: she's in her forty. Mama's a late sixties. She go
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: play bingo on casino every week, and she likes to
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: entertain me, and that's too young for her. Her mom's
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: in the late sixties. I'm in my forty. This is
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: kind of like women do the same thing to me,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: and do They have these midlife crises and they try
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to prove that they still got it and they men
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: do two things. We go buy a card that don't
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: look good on us, and we go get a young girl.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Them the two things we do for midlife crisis. We
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: get a card that don't look good or what old
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: ass dude want to climb out of damn sport car
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: and need a hand to get up out of them.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: They do it every day, man, and they crawling out
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: the car. I'll be looking at him. Man, they don't
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: even look good in him no more. But anyway, that's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: another thing. And they get young girls. So sometimes women
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: do the same thing. Go get these young dudes. Right now,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: I'm not sure what an older woman was seeing this man,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: but I know what he sees in her. Okay, I
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: understand what he's seeing her. But you know the boy
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: down that he young. He a cook after being hall. Now,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I'm not knocking you being a cook after being go hall,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: but that ain't the most upwardly mobile position in the world.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: So certainly it ain't your mama looking for a come up,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: but clearly he is. Do you understand now? He comes over,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: he liunes ro out in the house. My mom sold
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: him his older car. But when it's time for a payment,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: he taking it back. Do something, do it then, your
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: mama forget about the payment? What payment? You know this pain?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You know we're in here doing something, putting it on
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: your young boy style bunny rabbit. You know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: She always seems to find some straight dogs and have
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: pity on him. This guy has new clothes and updated lifestyle.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: So he's happy. Now here's the party we talked about earlier.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I confronted the guy when my mom was around, asking
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: me for seeing anyone else. He told me, mind my business.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: See he talking to you because you're another woman. You
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: say that to a young dude in his forties thirty
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: six to get his drawls to off for show. Now,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: what I think you need to do is incorporate some
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: male help. Here. Does your mother have a brother? See,
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: we gotta get some cousins over to the house. Yeah,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: uncle's all that stuff, you know, Bring him over to
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: the house. Watch the game. Now he over there, let's
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: get his ass on comfort. Probably want to just got out.
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: See yeah, yeah, one that just got out and they
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: ain't ain't gotten much of future. Yeah that's brothers to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: get out and do really, really well. But then you
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: know when somebody fitting to go back. Oh yeah, let's
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: just get him out his own probation. He go back
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: every summer. Let's just go and move it up to
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the winner. And so if I talk to her about
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: leaving this young man, it'll only make her want him more.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: And don't that sound from mel You like talking to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: your kids. Yes, it does. It's reverse. Yeah, how should
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I handle this? I thought about just letting it play
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: out like the other flings, But I think this guy's
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: slicking up the young men in the past. I'm totally outlied.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Am I totally outlined? You got? No, you're not outlied.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: I think you need to set him up, though. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: think you need to set him up. I think you
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: need to go down there to the Bengal Haul because
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: he got this arrangement summer else you got an iPhone,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: take some pictures of him up in another old woman's face.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: He don't know you that, wear scarf, some glasses and
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: the ski mask. Put put a mask on, you know,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: like you you know, feel like now you know what
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: all the people be walking around with him, paint of
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: mask on. Yeah, put the paint of mask on, like
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: the smoke balling. You know you can't smoking that almore.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: And wear that down there and just take pictures of him.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Bust him for your mama, or bring some uncles into
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: the situation. On days he over that lounge and had
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: them come over in lounge. You may have to have
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: a guy come over that just huge that you're not
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: interested in. On the day that he's over that lounge
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: and ask him to come over there in lounge, but
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: ask him to always sit close to the other dude. Yeah,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: screwed up under the thirty six. Make his ass uncomfortable vision,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. That's what I would do.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Since you a young lady and you don't really want
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: no trouble, but me, I ain't got no problem with trouble.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: So that's what I suggest you do, Junior. Anything you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: want to say, no, I think that's great right there.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: You need get somebody fresh out of jam, that's what
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: you need. Yeah. Yeah, and former inmates is always good.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Crackheads steal the car cead remember drugs, we all have them.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Any member on drugs, Yeah, crackhead will steal the car.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Get him by steal it back then trying to sell
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: it back to your mama. To you, it's so ignorant,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: all right. Listen up us your comments on Today's Strawberry
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook, and
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: don't forget to check out the Strawberry Letter podcast. John Demand,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: I'm coming up at forty six after the hour Junior
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Sports Talk. We are loving NFL quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson. High we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Junior
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: in the building with Junior sports talk. What you got Junior?
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: How about the Houston Texas. Okay, yeah, Houston Texas. Man,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: this the first time in about ten years, we finally
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: beat the New England Patriots, who are seen but man
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: on perfect man. We finally once Houston Texas quarterback to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Shawn Watson had to beat the goat Tom Brady at
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: least one time before he retired. Now, as we know,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: the Texas beat the New England Patriots on Sunday night
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: twenty eight to twenty two. Now, Lamar Jackson and the
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens are now number one in the AFC North
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: and not New England for the first time in about
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: which mean I said fifteen, No, fifteen. What means is
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: that now now we won't have to go through New
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: England for the Super Bowl. That's a big deal because
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: every time we go up there, we come right back home. Yeah,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: every time. We don't know the reason why we don't
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: have a Super Bowl is because of Tom Braid. Like
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: you said when you get the NFL Award show. Haven't
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: y'all thought about knocking Tom Brady off? I did. The
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: reason why we all in this room because of Tom Brady.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: He's so excellent man. He got everything that he did
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: looking yet everything he went all the time, very handsome him.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Stand him. But we got your own son. Oh man,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: it was a great man. It was great. Gaun Thank you,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: Sean Ye shout out to them, dbs, Ryan Yer couldn't
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: do it. Tony Banks couldn't do it. It's j J
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Wyte out for the season. They say he may come
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: back for the play Watts. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he could
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: come back in the playoffs if we make if if
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: we make it. What's y'all's record? What we announced? What haden? Folk? Yeah?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Haiden Fold that's better than browns? Ain't oh yeah, y'all five?
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Well what why are y'all? He's comparing it to the brown? Yeah,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: it's better than the brown do some random you always? Yeah,
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: we better than the brown. Brown, You're better than the browns,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: better than better than Miami. Better Tommy see the brown Tommy.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: He'll go to Tommy. Yes, Tommy, we don't won five
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: games in two years. We hadn't one five games. You
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: can't take much joy. You can't take Yeah, two years
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: we won one game. We don't want five games. You
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: can the best commercials. Yeah yeah, Baker Mayfield commercially, you
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: need to damn wins. That's what Cleveland fans all right.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Putting the
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: fun in funerals is a new trend. We'll talk about
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: it right after this. Yeah, I said it. Yeah, you're
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: listening to all right, So miss Kyle Tevlin, Steve, listen
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: to this story. She founded the planning site I Want
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: a Fun Funeral to help the trend. Okay, you get
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: to plan your own funeral, your way and wherever you
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: want it to be. Kyle is a she, and you
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: can attend one of her workshops on how to plan
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: your own going away part planet yourself or use a consultant.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Either way, Teblen says, the idea is to bring out
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: your personality and make it a party. You know, if
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: you might recall Aretha Franklin had a glorious eight hour
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: affair with wardrobe changes during the time she was lying
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: in state. So why can't we all all go out
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: with the bang Teblen says the movement was born out
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: of people saying, I don't want people crying at my funeral.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: So here's the question, Steve Tommy Junior, So would you
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: want to hire a party planner for your funeral? Is
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: that a good look about that? Got DJ? Everybody gonna
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: be enjoyed it, But you get exactly everybody gonna be
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: party except who the party folk lay it up there
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: with your way you did partner, so it's far everything
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: for you. And but then New Orleans been doing this
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: for years anyway, celebrating the light. Yeah, you know, I
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: ain't really, I ain't really with all that. I won't
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: everybody crown in my fuel. You need step anybody but Steve. Yet,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: while you don't like Steve goes out come, ain't doing
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: you want to toe out. I need some people to
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: get hurt. I just want somebody to get the run
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: and just dive into baptism pool because I'm gone, I
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: take it. Yeah, yeah, somebody, just do. I want to
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: see somebody do something extreme. Yeah, and like when they
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: shut the casket, run up d and pride back home. Yeah,
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I said, take your hands off. Hey, you know when
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the Paul Bears is canning it out. Somebody just running
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: dive on it, hugging my casket. They got get your
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: hands down, and Junior. You and Junior seemed to be
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: with it. But Tommy sounds like he's gonna call the
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: lady party. Yes, the party, some nice many kid helping tom. Y'all,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: miss Mina mis pre turned it out. From what I heard,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: pre turned it out. We're gonna wobble. We're gonna do
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: a baby face same good peel and the loves like
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: who pre staid? Man? Let me see who pre staid?
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Oh that's a good Oh, Bishop, Bishop don wan you know,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: and I'm saying Timmy show was cooler he was. Damn.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: You know I love Timmy. You know I'm not gonna
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: go ahead. You know I always want it. You know
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: the thing abound Timmy. Then you know the pranks, man,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: that's what I'm gonna miss. That your damn Tommy Bishop.
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I Hey, we gotta go, okay, coming up for music
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: more trending news. In twenty minutes after the hour, right
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: after this stay, you're listening to morning show. All right,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: you guys couldn't get enough of this planning funeral story. Tommy,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: you say you want somebody, dude, what did your funeral?
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I want to you know, I want to have one
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: last photo shoot. You know what I'm saying over everybody,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: come by see look, Yeah, it's gonna be the same
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: look that looked at Uh damn. He looked the same
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: in all the pictures. Remember weekend at Bernie the movie toime.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: I want somebody, I want somebody. I want want extreme
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: stuff in my funeral. I want somebody to come up
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: in the pool pit up there behind the choir stand
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: and climb up on the cross. Yeah, yeah, and go
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: it should have been me lard that or if you
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: don't get your hand down off of that cross, yeah,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: just climb up on the cross. Just hollow the knee
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: on it. Yeah. I want somebody to go up in
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: the balcony h and saying my hits from the bag.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: That's the light from the past, that dude. When the
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: fun get the fans, I gotta have Kanye Man with
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: them priells of outfits on his whole crew. Everybody. All right,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: we got more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show for
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: this ignorance coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the show, all right. So.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: In an interview with Esquire magazine, eighty two year old
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Billy D Williams says he sees himself as feminine as
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: well as masculine. Billy D said, I've never tried to
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: be anything except myself. I think of myself as a
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: relatively colorful character who doesn't take himself or herself too seriously.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: He explains. And you see I say himself and herself
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: I'm a very soft person. I'm not afraid to show
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: that side of myself. Hey, we're not. We're not. When
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I started getting old, y'all stop me. Okay from what Christie,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Billy D, I've just noticed a patton. When we as
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: bet me and get old, we started running out. Damn well,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: y'all stopping me. Y'all stopped me if I start saying stuff.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: You know I've always wondered, you know. Uh uh Steve, yeah,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: come on, stop me, bring it in. She called C
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: called C listen, Uh what's Quincy's kids? Quincy's daughter had
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: to go get him. Ye, Daddy, Daddy and Helen talk. Yeah.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: He had to start retracting statement, Billy Billy kids don't
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: come for him too. Now, I just had I had
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: Billy d Williams on the last season on my talk
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: show William December. Williams. What he says stick. So I
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: just had him as a special guest on Harvey's Hundreds,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: who was sort of crazy. Man. I wanted to sit
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: down and talk with him, but you know, I just
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: had him on the show. He still had it walked
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: out and he was Billy de bed Bill his shoes on.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: I said, I am definitely gonna keep it pimping at
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: this age. Okay, he said he out a soft side
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: or a feminine side. What is that? That's what he means,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: That's what he meant. He said, Yeah, Yeah, it's very
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: clear that he sees himself as feminine as well as masculine.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: He's a very soft person and he's not afraid to
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: show that side of him. I don't think he was
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: saying that he wasn't a man, or that he wasn't
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: I don't think, yeah, not at all. He's just embracing
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: his femininity. You know, he sees some other that in himself,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and he's I mean people look, look, I mean people
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: say real men don't cry. But then what that say
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: about me? Ye? Man, yeah him some moments man, yeah, yeah, no,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: And he says, yeah, he doesn't take him here, you know.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: So I bought dinner one time for him he started
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: crying in Yeah, I didn't because I didn't think we
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: pay I know, Steve, But you can catch Billy d
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: in the movie Star Wars, The Rise of Skywalker that
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: opens December twenty if that will be the latest installment
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: of the Star Wars series. All right, coming up, our
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: last break of this ignorant day, and some closing remarks
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey. Coming up at
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: forty nine minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: listening to Morning Show. Before we get to your closing remarks,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: Steve just wanted to give a shout out to the
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: people in the East, the Northeast and trending weather news.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: New York Governor Cuomo has declared a state of emergency
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: in multiple counties in New York as an intense winter
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: storm hits the Northeast. The storm slam the East coast
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: and yesterday closing schools, government offices, canceling flights. There also
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: more school closures in New England. There are fifty million,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: fifty million people under winter weather watch alerts. Uh, while
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: more travelers are stranded, So please be aware of that,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you know, while you're making your flight plans. And yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I came through that last night and had a delay
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: coming from yeah, due to the store that was starting
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: to pick up to be able to get out. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: So so pray for our neighbors. Yeah, definitely in your prayers.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: New York, New York. I just don't know a state
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: that handles more, you know. I mean, New York is
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: a tough place. New York, Florida, New York and Florida
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: get hit. Well, all of the New York Florida CALLI
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: they you always Well, then you got to go to
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: golf because yeah, okay, let me retract that statement. Everybody
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: catching it here? Yeah yeah, No, matter where you live,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: you got to be tough. That's all I got to say.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: You know, because I started thinking about it, I said,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: wait a minute, hold up, New York, non Florida, Nah,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: La Florida, Na, Louisiana yet Texas. Yeah, that's rough. Tornado Ali,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: oh Man, Tornado Ali cross the Midwest. Yeah, that was
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: not a good statement. I apologize. Yeah, just everybody. You know, Yeah,
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I think I think in terms that you know, like,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: let let me say this in my closing remarks, I
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: think that we all after that statement, I just may
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: realize that everybody has uh portions of their life that
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: has that can be quite challenging at times. All of
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: us will face the feeling of loneliness. Sometimes, all of
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: us will face abandonment. All of us will deal with sadness,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: all of us will deal with disappointment, all of us
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: will have to deal with grief. All of us, the
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: one thing, the one thing that can get you through
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: all of us, is a relationship with God. I kid
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: you not, man, I know, I know. I say it
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: oftentimes on this show, and I get criticized for saying
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: it on this show. But why would I stop telling
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: a person the truth when what I know to be
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: true is that a relationship with God is sufficient, but
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: it is necessary. The average person goes through a lot
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: of pain that they don't have to endure alone. Listen,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: life is gonna strike you. It's gonna strike all of us.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: It strikes the rich, the poor, the just, the unjust.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Life strikes us all. Wouldn't it be to your advantage
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: if you had a relationship with your creator. I mean, look,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: God created us all, He created us with the power
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: of choice. In this power of choice, what he really
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: wants us to do is choose him. It's just really
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: that simple. And I'm not the guy on the radio
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: show to tell you how to choose him. The religion
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: you choose is up to you. Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim, Islam, Buddhists,
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: whatever you do, that's Jehovah witnessed seven Day of Venice,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: whatever you that's you. Who am I to decide for you,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: what's right for you? Who am I to dictate to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: you what you should be? We don't have that right,
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: no matter who we think we are, we do not
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: have that right to decide for another person. You can't
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: decide that Islam is wrong. Cannot make that decision. That's
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: not your call. But then on the other hand, you
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: can't make the call or decision that Christianity is wrong.
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: That's not your call. Who are you? Yes, that's not
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: your call. If you don't believe what I believe and
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: you don't want what I want, is something wrong with you?
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: You know you hear about all this that's going on
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: in China. These Muslims as getting persecuted in China, the
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Jews or get persecuted, the Blacks to get persecuted, this
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: group that gets persecuted, to gaze to get persecuted. You
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: know what, We got a lot of nervous people persecuting
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: other people simply because of who they happen to be.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: And it ain't like you look. Man, if you really
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: get in touch with God, God is really about love, man.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: God is about acceptance of flaws, misunderstanding, characterization. Flaw with
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: God is accepting. God is forgiving. But it's not for
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: us to judge. It's not for us to decide who
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: is wrong. God is the judge of all of that. Man,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: if you get in touch with God, God will help
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: you through a lot of your hard times and here
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: to give you a spirit that makes you a lot
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: more accommodating of things that you don't understand and things
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: that are not just like you. All you trying to
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: do is get through this life the best way you can,
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: and along the way to really get it right, help
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: some other people. If you can get through life the
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: best you can and turn around and help some other people,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: you are living a pretty good life. That life is
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: best brought about by having a relationship with your creator,
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: your heavenly Father, God loves us. Those are my clothes
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: remarks that that I thought i'd throw that out there,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: trying to show over. Hey, have a great weekend, you know.
