- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come come on your tha,
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody, y'all listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice. Come on dig me now. One and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey man old man, got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: I do. God so big to me, man, I just
- 2:16Speaker 1: have to tell you about it. I can't help it.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's rather obvious to me how big, how good God is.
- 2:23Speaker 1: He's absolutely tremendous. He's off the chain. He owned one,
- 2:30Speaker 1: he'd be clowning, he'd be just showing out. Man. I'm
- 2:35Speaker 1: just over here, just on receiving it. You know, if
- 2:38Speaker 1: you're out there, start your mission today, Start your mission today?
- 2:46Speaker 1: What are you waiting for? Why do we as people
- 2:50Speaker 1: delay what we want or delay the process to begin.
- 3:00Speaker 1: We want our hopes, our dreams, our desires. Why won't
- 3:04Speaker 1: you start your mission today? Why don't we all decide
- 3:09Speaker 1: together that just individually. Look, you're listening. You got something
- 3:15Speaker 1: that you've been dreaming about. You got an ambition of
- 3:17Speaker 1: yours that's not yet fulfilled. You got goals you haven't
- 3:21Speaker 1: accomplished yet. Everybody has them. Everybody's got them. Everybody's got
- 3:26Speaker 1: something that's that's on the table that they haven't yet
- 3:30Speaker 1: attacked yet. What are you waiting for? Start your mission today?
- 3:34Speaker 1: Stop the procrastination now. The procrastination is only hurting you yourself.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And if you and if you allow practical excuse men,
- 3:44Speaker 1: if you allow procrastination to set in, then that that
- 3:50Speaker 1: allows then which is a weakness, you know, but that
- 3:54Speaker 1: allows the devil then to just really do his thing,
- 3:57Speaker 1: because an idle mind is the devil's playground. So if
- 4:00Speaker 1: you ain't working on your goals, dreams, aspirations or visions
- 4:03Speaker 1: and you're just waking up seeing how today gonna go,
- 4:06Speaker 1: or the devil he got plenty for it for you
- 4:09Speaker 1: to do. The thing about God is he's so forgiving
- 4:11Speaker 1: that if you get out of line, he'll hold your place.
- 4:14Speaker 1: See that's the real cool thing. But see the thing
- 4:17Speaker 1: with God is God, don't do that. God don't say
- 4:19Speaker 1: the line start back here. God holds your place. When
- 4:23Speaker 1: you make a mistake and you fall off the line,
- 4:25Speaker 1: God holds your place. But if you ain't got no dreams, aspiration,
- 4:29Speaker 1: if you ain't got no place, what he holding for you? See,
- 4:33Speaker 1: I mean he got a place for you, but you
- 4:36Speaker 1: gotta come to him. See some people if well, here's
- 4:39Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If you got a goal or aspiration
- 4:42Speaker 1: or dream and you fall off track momentarily, you can
- 4:46Speaker 1: get back to that because God knows where you're left off.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Now you may have to accomplish a few more things
- 4:53Speaker 1: since you stop for a long period of time, but
- 4:55Speaker 1: God know where you left off. You can get back
- 4:58Speaker 1: on track. I look, man, this dream of being on
- 5:01Speaker 1: TV since I was a kid, and it got off track.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Now it got off track. I just kept it as
- 5:08Speaker 1: one of the dreams. And in some real dog moments
- 5:11Speaker 1: when it looked like it wasn't gonna happen, all I
- 5:14Speaker 1: was hanging on too was just the hope that one
- 5:17Speaker 1: day it could. But that's what faith is really about.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Faith is the belief in things that you cannot see,
- 5:24Speaker 1: but faith gives you the confidence to keep hoping. Man.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Sometimes it just keep hope alive. Sometimes, you heard Jesse
- 5:32Speaker 1: Jackson said, just keep hope alive. Sometimes, man, it's just
- 5:36Speaker 1: the hope. I was hanging on the hope. And I'm
- 5:40Speaker 1: talking about when it got real ugly and funky out
- 5:43Speaker 1: there for me, when it looked like I wasn't gonna
- 5:46Speaker 1: ever make it, and all of the facts was in
- 5:49Speaker 1: and everything pointed in the direction you're not gonna make it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You don't really messed up this time. Then I sat
- 5:56Speaker 1: there and I just hung on to the hope. But man,
- 6:00Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. If you got a dream on
- 6:03Speaker 1: aspiration of vision or something, when you fall off track
- 6:07Speaker 1: and you want to go get back in line, God
- 6:10Speaker 1: holds your place. See he held on to that fum me.
- 6:14Speaker 1: He knew I was off tracking how the line, but
- 6:16Speaker 1: he said, okay, here's where we stopped. You want to
- 6:19Speaker 1: be on TV. Now. When you get it together and
- 6:21Speaker 1: you quit tripping and you come in your turn to me,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your place, put you back in line.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Then we're gonna finish your journey. That took me a
- 6:28Speaker 1: lot longer to get here than I wanted to, but
- 6:30Speaker 1: then it was necessary because I needed all of the
- 6:33Speaker 1: mishaps to happen to me along the way. So when
- 6:35Speaker 1: I got on the radio one day, which I did
- 6:38Speaker 1: not see coming, Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all.
- 6:41Speaker 1: That's why I say it every day. See, because of
- 6:43Speaker 1: this radio show that I didn't see coming. Now I
- 6:46Speaker 1: have stories to tell. I got experiences to share, and
- 6:52Speaker 1: I can tell you about me better than I can
- 6:53Speaker 1: tell you about anybody. And I've been through enough where
- 6:57Speaker 1: it's relatable, where enough people can go. Man, that happened
- 7:01Speaker 1: to me. Appreciate you saying that that's what it was for. See,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I get it now. See at the time, though I
- 7:06Speaker 1: didn't like what was happening to me. At the time,
- 7:10Speaker 1: I was really in total disagreement with God on a
- 7:12Speaker 1: lot of stuff He was pulling off on me, But
- 7:15Speaker 1: in essence I was really pulling it off on myself.
- 7:18Speaker 1: But through his grace and mercy, he kept me through
- 7:21Speaker 1: all of my mistakes, all my bad decisions, all my miscalculations,
- 7:26Speaker 1: all my misfires, all the times I knowingly stepped out
- 7:30Speaker 1: there indeed wrong. He forgave me, he said, because Man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: if you ever come to me, I have a plan
- 7:38Speaker 1: for you that it's going to be far and above.
- 7:42Speaker 1: It will supersede everything you've ever dreamed of. That's what
- 7:46Speaker 1: I did. I just got sick of me, good and
- 7:49Speaker 1: sick of me, and I turned it over to God.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And then God started working and here I am today
- 7:56Speaker 1: now as he threw it me. Yet Nope, Have I
- 7:59Speaker 1: arrived object? Nope? But guess what the journey is cool?
- 8:05Speaker 1: You know, It's like I was talking to this young
- 8:06Speaker 1: brother the other day about comedy and he's really good
- 8:10Speaker 1: stand up. You know, this young dude is really good.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He said, Man, what is this I feel every night
- 8:17Speaker 1: before I go on stage. I don't know what it is.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I just wanted off me, I said, sir, listen to me,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you young dude. This thing that climbs on my back
- 8:27Speaker 1: every night before I go on stage. I don't know
- 8:29Speaker 1: what it is. It's got something to do with pressure,
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's got something to do with anticipation. It's got a
- 8:36Speaker 1: whole lot to do with the fear of falling. He said,
- 8:39Speaker 1: what you mean by that? I said, every night I
- 8:41Speaker 1: walk out on stage, it's like I'm about to go
- 8:44Speaker 1: and step off a cliff. I said, it's a sickening feeling.
- 8:48Speaker 1: He said, man, but you do so well. I said,
- 8:50Speaker 1: that's because the parachute opens. I say, but I want
- 8:53Speaker 1: you to understand something. When I first walk out there,
- 8:56Speaker 1: it's just stepping off the cliff. Now, these jokes provide
- 9:00Speaker 1: a parachute which slows my descent when I jump off
- 9:05Speaker 1: the cliff, and I turned it into a glide. And
- 9:08Speaker 1: then I take the audience this way and I swing
- 9:10Speaker 1: them back over that way. We might swing out to
- 9:13Speaker 1: the Colorado Rockies. We may go down to Miami with
- 9:17Speaker 1: this joke. We may take it on out to LA
- 9:19Speaker 1: and I just swing back and forth till I land softly.
- 9:22Speaker 1: The crowd cheers. The night is over with, I said,
- 9:26Speaker 1: but it's been too many nights though. When I walked
- 9:28Speaker 1: off that cliff and I pulled the cord in, the
- 9:30Speaker 1: parachute didn't open. I said. Now I'm just free falling
- 9:34Speaker 1: out there for thirty minutes. Ain't no jokes working. Ain't
- 9:37Speaker 1: the parachute didn't open? I said, So see, that's what
- 9:40Speaker 1: it's like for me. And then you know what I
- 9:43Speaker 1: found out. If you don't walked off the cliff in life,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and you ain't got no God in your life. It's
- 9:49Speaker 1: like not having a parachute. You step off the cliff
- 9:53Speaker 1: and you just free falling. Now see we all now
- 9:57Speaker 1: that fall gets you closer to the grave, righte We
- 10:00Speaker 1: all head into the grave from the moment we're born.
- 10:02Speaker 1: But the cool thing about a relationship with God is
- 10:05Speaker 1: when you step off the cliff and you got God
- 10:08Speaker 1: here a parachute. You're still going down, but it's a
- 10:12Speaker 1: nice ride, and God just helps your your descent appear
- 10:16Speaker 1: more like a rise and then more like a euphoric fall.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Instead of not having no God in your life and
- 10:23Speaker 1: you just walking off that cliff every day free falling.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Ain't got no core, you steady pulling, you hauling the
- 10:30Speaker 1: whole way because you messed around with yourself and ain't
- 10:33Speaker 1: let God come into your life and provide a parachute
- 10:36Speaker 1: for you. I would rather have a parachute since I
- 10:40Speaker 1: got to jump every day than to not have one.
- 10:43Speaker 1: God has been like a parachute from me. Ask me
- 10:47Speaker 1: why where that came from. I can't tell you. But
- 10:50Speaker 1: like I always say, most good things that happened in
- 10:53Speaker 1: my life that I can't explain, it's usually him. You're listening,
- 11:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, here it is Steve Robbing Morning show
- 11:06Speaker 1: in your mouth? Do it? Steve? Aw you doing looking

- 11:48Speaker 1: Why are you so young? So I would? I would?
- 11:52Speaker 1: I've been warming my ears out. It ain't nothing to do.
- 11:56Speaker 1: I called this awful. We got started. Okay, now you

- 12:40Speaker 1: Only bad but just cold, right yeah, not fact this
- 12:43Speaker 1: grease ever. But we can't hear this. Yeah right, see
- 12:48Speaker 1: that as a kid and then actually be able to
- 12:51Speaker 1: do it as an adult. You know, that's a dream
- 12:53Speaker 1: come true. It is Sirlotte. It's like it's like man
- 12:57Speaker 1: to be able to do that. Man, I wanted so
- 13:01Speaker 1: badly A big tree. Yeah, man, I was my dad.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Well you got it now yourself when you do it? Man,

- 13:15Speaker 1: I really did. What was the ultimate gift you got
- 13:18Speaker 1: as a kid that you just back? Oh my god
- 13:20Speaker 1: in Oregon? Man, a life size doll? A gold card?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Oh you got a gold cart junior wo Man, Wow,
- 13:33Speaker 1: that's big right there? Driving at fourteen, I'm about here
- 13:38Speaker 1: Tandy Streets. Anyone from police A long way? Man that
- 13:45Speaker 1: it couldn't cut the yard? I was gone, What about you? Steve?
- 13:49Speaker 1: Come on a red fly wagon with the side ls
- 13:54Speaker 1: on it. Who that the hustling begins? That was your
- 13:58Speaker 1: first car. I didn't let nobody ride in my wag
- 14:02Speaker 1: and we aren't playing this. That was your first I
- 14:05Speaker 1: collect pop bottles in this work wag. This pulled me
- 14:10Speaker 1: up the street, not in this damn wag. What about
- 14:14Speaker 1: your nephew big Will you know that the little handle
- 14:18Speaker 1: on that when you can hook slide with it? Yeah?
- 14:20Speaker 1: What plastic? Weird? Yes, the plas I wore them out.

- 14:39Speaker 1: right after this when you gotta go, card you're listening
- 14:44Speaker 1: to show, all right to Steve, Let's talk about some
- 14:49Speaker 1: of your favorite Christmas memories, um, you know, and your
- 14:53Speaker 1: favorite holiday tradition. I want to ask you like Poe memories.
- 15:02Speaker 1: But that was good though, you know it because I
- 15:04Speaker 1: didn't know, you know, no difference, Yeah, I figured just
- 15:09Speaker 1: the way it was right everyone, you know, everybody get
- 15:14Speaker 1: a gilt huh what did you sitting around? Thank you
- 15:17Speaker 1: for the open multiple package. Just damn gift man. Put
- 15:23Speaker 1: the tearing off of the wrapping paper. Yes, yeah, we're
- 15:29Speaker 1: gonna use that paper next year, I know. And my
- 15:37Speaker 1: mom wrapped like the grocery store wrapped. That was her thing,
- 15:40Speaker 1: she wrapping, Oh yes she could. It looked just like
- 15:44Speaker 1: it did at the at the department stores. My mom
- 15:47Speaker 1: could wrap. Yeah, man, girl, I got a easy Oh yes,
- 15:51Speaker 1: the Lord with the light with the light wrapped you
- 15:55Speaker 1: to knew it everything I wrapped to the exact spe
- 16:00Speaker 1: or whatever, dog dog if you if you thought it
- 16:07Speaker 1: was a truck, that's probably what it was. It was obvious,
- 16:10Speaker 1: never going over under the tree and just feeling on
- 16:12Speaker 1: the gifts trying to guess what it was. Man, if
- 16:16Speaker 1: I wrapped it, you knew. Wow, I got a bowling ball.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know exactly what looked like he gave. I Remember
- 16:33Speaker 1: when I got a tape recorder one year. Oh, that
- 16:36Speaker 1: was always a good That was the beginning of my
- 16:38Speaker 1: career right there, the tape recorder. Yes, oh, I got
- 16:42Speaker 1: a sting rewind fast forward. Yes, yes, good, good stuff.
- 16:47Speaker 1: One of my most frightening Christmas. What's because of that
- 16:52Speaker 1: tape recorder right there? Oh? Yeah, what happened to what
- 16:56Speaker 1: you pressed? Playing record? That angers to get it done? Yes,
- 17:02Speaker 1: my mama got me mine for Christmas. I took it
- 17:04Speaker 1: upstairs and recorded Rudy ray Moore signifying the monkey down
- 17:13Speaker 1: in the ju that signifying market damn show didn't got
- 17:21Speaker 1: it walked through the trees and all up and hire
- 17:24Speaker 1: that market. I was in elementary school. He was cus
- 17:32Speaker 1: he was seven, six or seven. You know about Rudy
- 17:37Speaker 1: ray More when my dad and them used to play it, okay,
- 17:40Speaker 1: and I used to sit on the steps in the
- 17:42Speaker 1: hallway and listen to it. Be in the hallway, Holly.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Everybody had the albums Man, but I rememorized album the
- 17:49Speaker 1: whole Signifying Monkey, and I could sound just like it.
- 17:54Speaker 1: So when my mama got it, I went upstairs and
- 17:56Speaker 1: I'm recording wear down in the Junger Signifying Market, cussing
- 18:07Speaker 1: and everything I'm talking about cuss just like that's when
- 18:10Speaker 1: you first look you felt a love like this. So
- 18:12Speaker 1: everything going good. We go to church that morning. We
- 18:15Speaker 1: come back. A couple of sister Porter and sister all
- 18:20Speaker 1: Bell came over to see my mom and they was
- 18:24Speaker 1: in there in the living room, and I had my
- 18:26Speaker 1: recorder on the coffee table because I said, saw a
- 18:29Speaker 1: cookie on the diwn room table. I wanted to get
- 18:32Speaker 1: a matter of fact, of rice crispy. And when I
- 18:37Speaker 1: came back, my mama had to recorder in her loud
- 18:42Speaker 1: my stomach. She said, what they was all talking about? Uh?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Sister Harvey, what is that. That's these new recorders that
- 18:54Speaker 1: you buy. We bought one for Steve. I'm just looking
- 18:58Speaker 1: at man, don't hit that. So then this later corter
- 19:08Speaker 1: say what's on it? My mama pressed play. I opened
- 19:16Speaker 1: it up like this wear down in the jungle. D
- 19:27Speaker 1: that's signifying market that did ever sleep? Yeah, I'm cussing
- 19:32Speaker 1: it everything, but I mean it's on the recorder. So
- 19:39Speaker 1: my mama trying to find the button, but she can't
- 19:43Speaker 1: cut it off. She can't control the volume or nothing.
- 19:48Speaker 1: She steady hitting the plate button. Well that's already down.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Your baby talking. Lady after Church says, oh, that's that's
- 19:57Speaker 1: Rudy ray Mo. So I said, okay, that might help
- 20:02Speaker 1: a little bit, they say, She say, but who is it? Thought?
- 20:07Speaker 1: Oh who's saying it? Yeah, everybody looking at me. I'm
- 20:13Speaker 1: just trying to figure out how I can make this
- 20:15Speaker 1: recorded disappear. And if I stay here and look out
- 20:24Speaker 1: the window, maybe they won't notice it's me. Man, I
- 20:28Speaker 1: was sitting there in trouble. Mama's finally cut that thing up.
- 20:31Speaker 1: She said, boy Lord Jesus, when your daddy get home?
- 20:37Speaker 1: Oh no, man, So they left. My daddy came home
- 20:40Speaker 1: she says, snap, listen to what this boy didn't put
- 20:43Speaker 1: on his on Christmas? And she pressed, playing again, wear
- 20:55Speaker 1: down the jungle d my daddy saying who is that?
- 21:02Speaker 1: My mom saying that's your son, and then my dad
- 21:08Speaker 1: and listening to it any star smiling, Why that's you?
- 21:16Speaker 1: H yes, I'm just shrinking. I'll all right. And the
- 21:21Speaker 1: brain phone call coming up right after this. You're listening
- 21:28Speaker 1: all right. Before we went to brake, Steve, you were
- 21:30Speaker 1: telling us the story about when your dad heard you
- 21:33Speaker 1: recite Rudy ray More on your brand new call, Mama,
- 21:37Speaker 1: come home on Christmas. Look at what your boys doing. Yeah,
- 21:43Speaker 1: so she pressed on way down that blankly blank didn't
- 21:56Speaker 1: ever sleep, walcome through trees and swinging in the sand,
- 22:03Speaker 1: back black. So my daddy listened to it. He smiled,
- 22:11Speaker 1: He said, boy, that's you. Oh, yes, you're in trouble.
- 22:17Speaker 1: He said, where your cold at? Go get your coat,
- 22:20Speaker 1: Come on confidence. I had never done that. I used
- 22:29Speaker 1: to go on in the basement the coach. He puts
- 22:33Speaker 1: me in the car, he gets the machine, we back out.
- 22:37Speaker 1: We drive right up to Earl's gas station, about five
- 22:40Speaker 1: minutes from the house. He got walking there on the man,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Christmas slick, what's up a little boy? Man? Christmas? Boy?
- 22:48Speaker 1: I got something for y'all. Right here, tell me who
- 22:53Speaker 1: this is? Here? So all the men and that boy
- 22:56Speaker 1: that rooted right more. No, it ain't that sky class
- 23:06Speaker 1: you line boy right here? This boy sound your life remote.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So mister Wales say, what do some of it? Oh man,
- 23:16Speaker 1: you can't you tell you about front of y'all life?
- 23:20Speaker 1: And I got the custom from y'all. Did you do it? Yeah?

- 33:40Speaker 1: a headline news ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne trip. Thank
- 33:44Speaker 1: you very much everybody, and good morning. This is a
- 33:46Speaker 1: trip with the news. Well, today's today. President Trump, all
- 33:49Speaker 1: his living White House predecessors, as well as dignitaries from
- 33:52Speaker 1: wall over the world, all scheduled to attend today's state
- 33:55Speaker 1: funeral in Washington, DC for number forty one George Herbert
- 33:59Speaker 1: Walker Bush at Washington's National Cathedral. Trump has declared today
- 34:03Speaker 1: a national day of mourning. George W. Bush is to
- 34:06Speaker 1: eutlogize his father and foreign presidents Bill Clinton and Barack
- 34:09Speaker 1: Obama and Jimmy Carter are also expected to deliver remarks. However,
- 34:13Speaker 1: according to reports, President Trump, who made a lot of
- 34:16Speaker 1: not so nice comments about the Bushes during his White
- 34:18Speaker 1: House campaign, has not been asked to speak. Tomorrow. Memorial
- 34:22Speaker 1: service to take place in College Station, Texas at President
- 34:24Speaker 1: Bush's Presidential Library, where he's also to be laid to
- 34:27Speaker 1: rest alongside his late wife, Barbara and a daughter. The
- 34:31Speaker 1: Attorney General of Maryland and the District Columbia is suing
- 34:33Speaker 1: to gain access to documents pertaining to the Trump Hotel,
- 34:36Speaker 1: which is in the old Post Office building near the
- 34:38Speaker 1: White House. It's apparently become the place to stay for
- 34:41Speaker 1: not only the President's allies, but for some foreign diplomats
- 34:44Speaker 1: as well, and the lawsuit says the situation could very
- 34:47Speaker 1: well involve a violation of the Constitution's Emalian's clause that
- 34:50Speaker 1: prohibits the chief executive from taking gifts from foreign and
- 34:53Speaker 1: state governments. Subpoenas have gone out to the Trump companies
- 34:57Speaker 1: that own and operate the place, to the Trump Organizations
- 35:00Speaker 1: Ralla Company, to the trust that Trump allegedly set up
- 35:02Speaker 1: to insulate himself from these exact kinds of legal action,
- 35:06Speaker 1: so we'll see what happens there. Secretary State Mike Pompeo
- 35:09Speaker 1: says he put Russia unnoticed as an violation of Cold
- 35:12Speaker 1: War era arms deal. Pompeo, speaking at a NATO meeting
- 35:15Speaker 1: in Brussels yesterday, said, if Moscow won't live up to
- 35:17Speaker 1: the immedi Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, neither will we.
- 35:21Speaker 1: The United States today declares it has found Russia in
- 35:23Speaker 1: material breach of the treaty and will suspend our obligations
- 35:27Speaker 1: as a remedy, effective in sixty days unless Russia returns
- 35:30Speaker 1: to full and verifiable compliance. The Secretary State says that
- 35:34Speaker 1: our allies and Europe wanted more time for this so
- 35:36Speaker 1: before the Trump administation actually begins the process of pulling
- 35:40Speaker 1: out of the nineteen eighty seven agreement. But Pompeo told
- 35:43Speaker 1: a news conference yesterday that Russia keeps changing its story
- 35:46Speaker 1: about what he says as a missile program that is
- 35:48Speaker 1: in violation of the arms treaty, and they wanted stopped,
- 35:52Speaker 1: and they wanted in compliance. Sad news. Canadian boxer Donna
- 35:55Speaker 1: Stevenson is a portly in critical condition after being knocked
- 35:58Speaker 1: out in the eleventh round. His tense light heavyweight title defense.
- 36:02Speaker 1: At the time, Stevenson, who's forty one, was ahead in
- 36:05Speaker 1: points against his Ukrainian challenger, who was by the way,
- 36:08Speaker 1: ten years younger on two of the judges' cars, then
- 36:10Speaker 1: tied with the other. Stevenson was taken from the ring
- 36:12Speaker 1: on a stretcher. His challenger, who was ten years younger,
- 36:14Speaker 1: as I said, took the title at and t has
- 36:17Speaker 1: launched a TV alternative to Netflix. The former First Ladies
- 36:21Speaker 1: book Becoming is a tops on the New York Times
- 36:24Speaker 1: bestseller list right now and today finally, International Ninja Day.
- 36:31Speaker 1: This has been a trip with the news. Now back
- 36:33Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Stevey Show?
- 36:39Speaker 1: All right? The view co host Joy Behar and Megan
- 36:42Speaker 1: McCain argued unaired during the show's tribute to late President
- 36:45Speaker 1: George HW. Bush. Megan McCain didn't like the Joy Behar
- 36:50Speaker 1: through shade at Donald Trump during the segment, saying the
- 36:53Speaker 1: focus should be kept on the late former president. Take
- 36:57Speaker 1: a listen here. It is this president we have now
- 37:00Speaker 1: is trying to unravel everything that he did and Obama did.
- 37:04Speaker 1: And if I haven't become a one issue voter, it
- 37:06Speaker 1: will be about pollution and the greenhouse effect, and we
- 37:10Speaker 1: focus on the president. Please, I don't want to talk
- 37:13Speaker 1: about trouble this moment school. We're honoring a great president. Please,
- 37:18Speaker 1: I want to talk about honoring. But I'm not interested
- 37:21Speaker 1: in your one issue. I'm I don't care what by
- 37:28Speaker 1: WHOA building? I know when something been building. Yeah, I
- 37:36Speaker 1: got all my money on Joe, Yeah, I got my money.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Okay. So Megan, she was joy Behart
- 37:45Speaker 1: was talking. Megan interrupted her right to get back on
- 37:49Speaker 1: track to talk about George H. W. Bush. But she
- 37:52Speaker 1: still shouldn't have interrupted her. She could have said something
- 37:55Speaker 1: after joy Behart finished, what to talk on a panel show? Right, absolutely,
- 38:03Speaker 1: Steve and like like Junior said, this's been built, this,
- 38:07Speaker 1: this's been built. Yeah wow. Theybody fight over the place.
- 38:12Speaker 1: She was on there the long time she left and
- 38:14Speaker 1: then she came back. Yeah yeah okay, so okay. So,
- 38:21Speaker 1: according to some reports, the fight reportedly continue. It got
- 38:25Speaker 1: even more heated once will be cut to commercial. As
- 38:28Speaker 1: we heard, well, their mics were cut off, so the
- 38:32Speaker 1: audience couldn't hear. Joy Behar apparently continue to rent two producers,
- 38:38Speaker 1: threatening to quit if they didn't quote get this beat
- 38:42Speaker 1: under control. WHOA, that's right? All right? Joy say it.
- 38:47Speaker 1: Take a little image out of you. Okay, I would
- 38:52Speaker 1: have been sitting right there with popcorn. Wow. Well the
- 38:55Speaker 1: audience got it that day. Huh. Well their mics were off.
- 38:58Speaker 1: You can you can read them lips? Yeah, and you
- 39:00Speaker 1: could see you could feel the heat if it's really
- 39:03Speaker 1: you know? Okay, what Steve? What catch myself? What I forgot?
- 39:09Speaker 1: We was on the air house and to make a
- 39:11Speaker 1: real off air come Ye show talking in a certain
- 39:18Speaker 1: tone commercial crazy. I'm so glad you realized we're still alive. Yeah,
- 39:29Speaker 1: I shouldn't say something crazy? Really was about to go there?
- 39:33Speaker 1: Tell us on the commercial coming up next at thirty
- 39:37Speaker 1: four after the hour some political news, uh, Former Vice
- 39:40Speaker 1: President Joe Biden says he is the most qualified person
- 39:45Speaker 1: to be president. Who so is he running? Running? Is
- 39:49Speaker 1: he running? And Special counsel Robert Muller said he is
- 39:53Speaker 1: putting his puzzle together. We'll be back right after this.
- 39:57Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harping Morning Show. During a stop for
- 40:02Speaker 1: his book tour in Montana, former Vice President Joe Biden
- 40:05Speaker 1: discussed his twenty twenty prospects, saying he believes that he
- 40:09Speaker 1: is the most qualified person to be president, noting a
- 40:12Speaker 1: decision is coming in the next two months. Guys, what
- 40:15Speaker 1: do you think former Vice president President Joe Biden. Yeah,
- 40:20Speaker 1: bring it. He is the most qualified. He has the
- 40:23Speaker 1: most experience. I mean, he's been a yeah, he's been
- 40:27Speaker 1: a senator all that. Yeah. Yeah, man, And he looked good.
- 40:32Speaker 1: I saw him when he made that statement. He looked
- 40:34Speaker 1: very good, very healthy, very fit, smiling, confident, all the
- 40:39Speaker 1: things you need and a presidential candidate. Yeah. And he's
- 40:43Speaker 1: gonna talk with his family. Man. Yeah, he's seventy six.
- 40:46Speaker 1: We need to just run him. Damn this voting in
- 40:49Speaker 1: all this hit just him. We don't need nobody else. Yeah,
- 40:52Speaker 1: get behind him. Want nobody running it. Ain't got no
- 40:55Speaker 1: damn money. Yeah, come on, Democrats, stick together this one.
- 41:03Speaker 1: You ain't got no money to run for president. I'm
- 41:07Speaker 1: turning my foul one. And you know. Kamala Harris, Senator
- 41:16Speaker 1: Kamala Harris says she's going to make a decision from California. Yeah,
- 41:19Speaker 1: she's going to make a decision over the holidays whether
- 41:22Speaker 1: or not she's going to run. Yeah, she's a Democrat
- 41:25Speaker 1: as well. Yes, So she said she's going to make
- 41:28Speaker 1: a decision. Yeah, yes, I don't know. Really, who won't
- 41:33Speaker 1: a job? Not a president one. It's too hard. Yeah,
- 41:37Speaker 1: it's a tough one. You see how they look when
- 41:39Speaker 1: they go in and when they come out. They go
- 41:41Speaker 1: in with black hair, they come out with white hair. Stress. Yeah, well, yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: you're the leader of the free world. And it started
- 41:50Speaker 1: with George Washington. He was the first one with white
- 41:55Speaker 1: Whatever problems they was having back then, it was they
- 41:57Speaker 1: still got him. Now they didn't have these kinds of
- 42:01Speaker 1: problems bains and ponies and wooden teeth and the real
- 42:08Speaker 1: the real curls, Yeah, all the way down the freeze curls. Well.
- 42:23Speaker 1: So we'll see, um, you know, whether or not. But
- 42:28Speaker 1: that's quite a statement to make if you're not thinking
- 42:31Speaker 1: about running, that's for sure that he's the most qualified
- 42:34Speaker 1: person to be president. If you're not thinking about running
- 42:37Speaker 1: for president, why would you say that. Yeah. Also on
- 42:41Speaker 1: other political news, special Counsel Robert Muller's office says that
- 42:45Speaker 1: President Trump's former national security advisor, Michael Flynn's cooperation was
- 42:50Speaker 1: substantial and Mueller is recommending to the judge no prison
- 42:54Speaker 1: time for for Flynn and in regards to the ongoing
- 42:59Speaker 1: investigation into Russia meddling in the twenty sixteen elect nobody.
- 43:05Speaker 1: So if you recall, yeah, yeah, Michael Flynn Pete pleaded
- 43:09Speaker 1: guilty for lying to the FBI. You remember that back. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: so he hamped out so much they didn't want him
- 43:15Speaker 1: to go to jail. Yeah, that's what that means. So
- 43:17Speaker 1: everybody else need to get their story straight. Yeah. Time.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Oh he told the truth. Yeah a lot. Sounds like
- 43:25Speaker 1: they really had a lot on him too, so he
- 43:29Speaker 1: had to tell the truth straight day. Uh huh, I
- 43:32Speaker 1: got I got some well, you know, you gotta, you gotta,
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, pay attention to who picked him, right, So
- 43:39Speaker 1: if he got a lot to tell, Yeah, I tell
- 43:42Speaker 1: you about one. Yeah, he was the one that started
- 43:45Speaker 1: the whole lock her up chant, Michael Flynn. Maybe you
- 43:50Speaker 1: don't say that, no moment, let her go talking about
- 43:56Speaker 1: hill really. Yeah, there's more to come. Yeah, and they're
- 44:01Speaker 1: getting close. It seems like they're getting close, um, you know,
- 44:04Speaker 1: to to a resident. Yeah, Muller and his whole investigative
- 44:08Speaker 1: team getting close to a resolution and all this because
- 44:11Speaker 1: it's been almost two years now, so um putting it together. Yeah, Yeah,
- 44:17Speaker 1: He's got a lot of stuff to go on, for sure.
- 44:19Speaker 1: We want to know if that Prisidon knew about the meeting,
- 44:21Speaker 1: would up there in the town. That a serious problem.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Somebody need to know that. Jared Kushner Okay, yeah, well
- 44:29Speaker 1: you know they go he gonna pardon all them. Yeah,
- 44:34Speaker 1: he's not. His kids are not going to the jail. Yeah,
- 44:37Speaker 1: oh you're a pardon them so fast. Yeah. I think
- 44:39Speaker 1: we all would do that. I think we all would
- 44:42Speaker 1: do that. I don't need to get in mad. You
- 44:43Speaker 1: ain't taking my kid away that I give him a pardon.
- 44:48Speaker 1: All right, I'm next. The nephew is here with today's
- 44:50Speaker 1: praying phone call. Right after this, you're listening, coming up
- 44:57Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, guys, right about four
- 44:59Speaker 1: minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject
- 45:02Speaker 1: one big happy family or nothing at all. But right
- 45:09Speaker 1: now the nephews in the building with today's praying phone call.
- 45:11Speaker 1: What you got now? Bring my breast back? Hey? What
- 45:15Speaker 1: look at me when I'm talking to bring my breath back?
- 45:20Speaker 1: Talking about man? Any time a chicken, if we if
- 45:23Speaker 1: I didn't, if I didn't bought you some bread and
- 45:27Speaker 1: we break up them. Still my breast, bring my breast
- 45:33Speaker 1: back running. Hello, I'm trying to reach Oliver. Yeah, that's him. Hey,

- 46:18Speaker 1: to have about property. Well we're talking about property? What property?
- 46:21Speaker 1: And the proberly we lived in? What are you talking about?
- 46:23Speaker 1: This is my property? Okay, Now I'm not talking about
- 46:26Speaker 1: your house or nothing like that. Oh I got some
- 46:28Speaker 1: property over there that belonged to me, and I'm trying
- 46:30Speaker 1: to figure out how we can rectify the problem. Well,
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm quite as sure if it's something not to back
- 46:35Speaker 1: up or whatever. You can come and get it. I
- 46:37Speaker 1: don't know proper. What do you have over here in
- 46:38Speaker 1: my house that's yours? Okay? The ash the ashbo breast
- 46:42Speaker 1: that she had belonged to me, the breast. I bought
- 46:46Speaker 1: her some breast in plants. Man, I ain't know nothing
- 46:49Speaker 1: about no breast in plants. Okay, you might not know
- 46:52Speaker 1: nothing about it, but the bottom line is I spend
- 46:54Speaker 1: ten thousand dollars on some breasting plants, and I want
- 46:57Speaker 1: my property back, buddy. Man, jeez, no, man, you're not
- 47:02Speaker 1: getting back. What are you talking about? Pressing plan? I
- 47:04Speaker 1: ain't nonning about that. Man. Hey, man, I understand you
- 47:06Speaker 1: now knowing about it, but I don't calling you like
- 47:08Speaker 1: a man explaining it to you. I'm trying to let
- 47:10Speaker 1: you know. You know, I bought her some breasts and plans.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Now that's my property now, just like just like when
- 47:16Speaker 1: it don't work out with with U, an engagement don't
- 47:20Speaker 1: work out, you want your ring back? Well, I want
- 47:22Speaker 1: my breath back. Oh no, man, if you had gave
- 47:26Speaker 1: a ring, you can get that back. But this just man,
- 47:29Speaker 1: what do you I mean? Come on, man, he ain't
- 47:31Speaker 1: get back. Hey, man, I'm getting them back. Oh I'm
- 47:33Speaker 1: gonna be over there every other week being happy with

- 47:47Speaker 1: When you're with somebody, when you lose them, you lose
- 47:50Speaker 1: every damn thing you paid for. So if you brought
- 47:52Speaker 1: us and you're them, you should have bought when you
- 47:55Speaker 1: got married. You know what I'm saying. You should have
- 47:57Speaker 1: waited then bought the damn tell them mine. I'm gonna

- 48:09Speaker 1: you don't tell me when and when when I'm supposed
- 48:11Speaker 1: to buy, I buy someone I feel like it. But
- 48:14Speaker 1: the bottom line here is them breast belong to me. Now. No,
- 48:16Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna somebody gonna pay me ten thousand
- 48:19Speaker 1: dollars one way or the up. Oh no, no, you
- 48:21Speaker 1: ain't getting nothing back here, man, you got to move
- 48:23Speaker 1: on with your life. Man, when y'all broke up, y'all
- 48:27Speaker 1: running together. No motive left with us. She walked away
- 48:30Speaker 1: with a man. That's it. That's over. I'm sorry. Let
- 48:33Speaker 1: me say something to you, man. I'm coming over there.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I'm coming over there and have a conversation with Madison
- 48:37Speaker 1: about this, because that's who ever dently. I need to

- 48:52Speaker 1: can call you back when she on the way home.
- 48:55Speaker 1: My number on the breath, number on the breast, ten
- 48:57Speaker 1: thousand dollars. That's your number. Yeah. Hey, well I'm gonna
- 49:00Speaker 1: check it. I'm gonna show check it, and I'm gonna
- 49:02Speaker 1: look at it every day because you ain't getting nothing
- 49:04Speaker 1: back brother than mine. You're lost, man, it's over. Let
- 49:07Speaker 1: me ask you this, man, have you even bought the
- 49:09Speaker 1: ring from now to see it? Yeah, I've bought the ring.
- 49:11Speaker 1: That's what you do when you get engaged. I paid.
- 49:13Speaker 1: The ring is vault, brother, the way you were. I
- 49:16Speaker 1: must ring calls about eight nine thousand dollars. That's nice
- 49:19Speaker 1: ring feet the breast calls more than the damning. You're
- 49:22Speaker 1: a cheaper man, man, you man, I mean, I don't
- 49:25Speaker 1: about the ring you tell about Look, dude, she going then?
- 49:28Speaker 1: Breasts ain't yours no more? Man, you don't get back here.
- 49:30Speaker 1: If it was a ring, a pair of shoes or something,
- 49:32Speaker 1: I key that back. So what na what nah? Hey? Man?
- 49:35Speaker 1: All I'm gonna say is this here. I'm gonna come
- 49:37Speaker 1: over there and have a conversation with Madison about my
- 49:40Speaker 1: breath because the breath bloss to me. You're not coming
- 49:42Speaker 1: over here and getting nothing. She ain't even here. But
- 49:45Speaker 1: you can bring your over here. You come over here
- 49:47Speaker 1: with your chest pushed out, I'm gonna push it back
- 49:49Speaker 1: in for your brother. Don't I got two breaths over there?
- 49:53Speaker 1: You tell them the five thousand dollars I won't both
- 49:55Speaker 1: for man. Look, you ain't getting gus. You you call
- 49:59Speaker 1: every stra bring you break up with one back. I
- 50:02Speaker 1: call the ones that I'm han bought breast of. Thank you.
- 50:05Speaker 1: That's a good damn wedding. Gifts. I guess he don't. Hey, man,
- 50:07Speaker 1: don't don't. Don't let me tell you something. Don't you
- 50:09Speaker 1: touch my damn breast? You hear me? Man? Yeah, Man,
- 50:12Speaker 1: I don't know who the hell? Man? Hey, you can
- 50:14Speaker 1: get on my line. Man, who is this? I'm the
- 50:16Speaker 1: person that on the breast. Do you know who this is? Here?
- 50:18Speaker 1: You don't own nothing over here. Man. You didn't took
- 50:20Speaker 1: the loss on their brothers. You didn't took a straight
- 50:22Speaker 1: loss on their man. You got partner? Who is this? Man?
- 50:27Speaker 1: He lost it calling my phone. I'm gonna tell you
- 50:30Speaker 1: right now who this is his partner? Yeah, I'm who
- 50:33Speaker 1: is this? This is nephew Thomas Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 50:36Speaker 1: Your girl Madison got me the plankball called you. Oh man, boy,
- 50:42Speaker 1: you ain't it's code where you cold? Ma ain't somebody,
- 50:50Speaker 1: but damn it, this is it them? They real aret
- 50:52Speaker 1: it out of here. I know who you're sposed to
- 50:55Speaker 1: know what you marry. I don't know if they. Why
- 50:57Speaker 1: are you asking me if I'm still what you told? Much?
- 51:01Speaker 1: You bust him? Man? You still gott me? Must real
- 51:07Speaker 1: all fake? You sound like well, y'all go man, y'all,
- 51:13Speaker 1: y'all need to stop that. Man. But I listened to
- 51:15Speaker 1: you last people. You gotta laugh stuff I never thought

- 54:31Speaker 1: helping you out, just like we're gonna do for this
- 54:34Speaker 1: person right here. Buggle up, hold on tight. We gotta
- 54:38Speaker 1: call you Strawberry at all, all right, subject one big
- 54:47Speaker 1: happy family or nothing at all. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've
- 54:52Speaker 1: been dating a man for three years and we get
- 54:55Speaker 1: a loan. Great. We've talked about getting married, but we
- 54:58Speaker 1: have to work out a few kinks first. Both of
- 55:00Speaker 1: us have teenage kids from previous relationships, and I spend
- 55:04Speaker 1: a lot of time with his kids every other weekend.
- 55:07Speaker 1: He is always around my kids because I have sold
- 55:10Speaker 1: custody of them. We always joke about his kids like
- 55:14Speaker 1: out excuse me. We always joke about how his kids
- 55:18Speaker 1: like hanging out with me more than him. If I
- 55:21Speaker 1: am doing something for my kids, I include his kids.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I buy them gifts for birthdays, Christmas, or just because
- 55:28Speaker 1: I buy them gifts, and there's no separation to me.
- 55:33Speaker 1: But over the weekend I have the strangest conversation with
- 55:36Speaker 1: my boyfriend about the kids. He told me that this
- 55:41Speaker 1: Christmas he plans to focus more on his kids and
- 55:45Speaker 1: spend quality time with them alone during the holidays. I
- 55:50Speaker 1: was shocked to hear this. Over the years, he's been
- 55:54Speaker 1: good to my kids, but I do see a difference
- 55:56Speaker 1: in how he treats them and how he treats his
- 55:59Speaker 1: own kids. My kids love him, so I never make
- 56:02Speaker 1: a big deal out of it. The fact that he
- 56:05Speaker 1: is trying to make a big distinction between the kids
- 56:08Speaker 1: really hurts my feelings. Blended families are tricky and we've
- 56:11Speaker 1: been trying to make it work, but this was a
- 56:14Speaker 1: harsh reality check. My kids come first, but I'm able
- 56:18Speaker 1: to love his kids as my own. Now I have
- 56:21Speaker 1: doubts about marriage. Am I overthinking this? Stephen Shirley, what
- 56:25Speaker 1: do you think? No, you are not overthinking anything. I
- 56:30Speaker 1: say go with what you see and what you know,
- 56:33Speaker 1: because when people show you and in this case, tell
- 56:36Speaker 1: you who they are. Please believe them. I mean, okay,
- 56:40Speaker 1: let's look at the facts. This man that you've been
- 56:43Speaker 1: with for three years told you that this Christmas he
- 56:49Speaker 1: just wants to spend quality time with his kids alone
- 56:52Speaker 1: during the holidays. What else do you need to hear?
- 56:56Speaker 1: It's the holidays. That's the time when you and your
- 56:59Speaker 1: man and kids. You know, you guys are supposed to
- 57:02Speaker 1: spend family time together, not apart. So again, what else
- 57:08Speaker 1: is it that you need to hear? I mean, he
- 57:10Speaker 1: doesn't want to be with you, and he doesn't want
- 57:12Speaker 1: to be with you and your kids for Christmas. Okay.
- 57:16Speaker 1: In this relationship, you're all in. You are just everything.
- 57:20Speaker 1: In this relationship, you have accepted as teenage kids. You
- 57:23Speaker 1: spend a lot of time with them, You remember their
- 57:25Speaker 1: birthdays and other special occasions. You buy them gifts and stuff. He,
- 57:29Speaker 1: on the other hand, makes a difference between his kids
- 57:32Speaker 1: and your kids, and you're right. In order for a
- 57:35Speaker 1: blended family to work, you have to show love to everyone,
- 57:38Speaker 1: even if in your heart you love your own kids more.
- 57:41Speaker 1: And I think that's pretty normal to feel that way.
- 57:43Speaker 1: You have a special bond with your kids. You carried
- 57:45Speaker 1: them and all of that. But you know, you're fair
- 57:48Speaker 1: and loving on the outside, but your man is not
- 57:52Speaker 1: doing that, and he's not trying to hide it. Even
- 57:54Speaker 1: though you say your kids love him and you haven't
- 57:56Speaker 1: made a big deal out of it, it is a
- 57:57Speaker 1: big deal because he's as like he has checked out
- 58:01Speaker 1: of this relationship and on his way out of this relationship.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Someone who's thinking of marriage, of marrying you, would not
- 58:08Speaker 1: want to be without you on this Christmas Okay, sounds
- 58:13Speaker 1: like he's gonna be with someone else. Steve, Well, Shirley,
- 58:18Speaker 1: I have to agree with you now. So here we go.
- 58:22Speaker 1: This lady been dating this man for three years, everything
- 58:26Speaker 1: going great, talked about getting married, but they need to
- 58:28Speaker 1: work out some kinks. You know, both of them got kids.
- 58:32Speaker 1: He spends a lot of time and he's always around
- 58:35Speaker 1: the kids because she got soul custody of them. And
- 58:39Speaker 1: we joke about how his kids like hanging out with
- 58:41Speaker 1: me more than him, you know, And then you know,
- 58:45Speaker 1: if I'm doing something for my kids, I include his
- 58:47Speaker 1: kids about him. Gifts from Birthday's christ was everything, no
- 58:51Speaker 1: separation to me. But over the weekend he had a
- 58:53Speaker 1: little conversation with my boyfriend about the kids. He told
- 58:56Speaker 1: me he say this Christmas, he playing it on focusing
- 58:59Speaker 1: more his kids, spend quality time with them alone during
- 59:05Speaker 1: the holidays. I was shocked to hear this. Over the years,
- 59:09Speaker 1: he's been good to my kids, but I do sit
- 59:11Speaker 1: a difference in how he treats them and how he
- 59:13Speaker 1: treats his own kids. My kids love him, so I
- 59:17Speaker 1: never made a big deal out of the fact that
- 59:19Speaker 1: he's trying to make a big distinction between the kids.
- 59:21Speaker 1: Really hurt my feelings, But then the families are tricky.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Yes they are, and I've been trying to make it work,
- 59:27Speaker 1: but this is a harsh reality check. My kids come first,
- 59:31Speaker 1: but I'm able to love his kids as my own.
- 59:35Speaker 1: Now I have doubts about marriage. I'm overthinking this. I
- 59:39Speaker 1: think you all got to sit down and have a conversation.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Something is happening where he's feeling like he's obviously not
- 59:46Speaker 1: paying close enough attention to his own kids. So he
- 59:49Speaker 1: decided this year he goes spend times with his kids alone.
- 59:56Speaker 1: Somebody that says something to him. He didn't come to
- 59:58Speaker 1: this conclusion on his own. Somebody said something to him.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Somebody said, you know what the kids feel like? You
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: just treat everybody better than know. They come and they
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: feel like your step child. Somebody fed this information to him.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: All one of the kids said something to him. That's
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the only reason for he to suddenly go like this.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: So he's trying to prove that that's not true. So
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: he gonna be spending a lot of time with just
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: his kids alone on Christmas and he's been with her
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: for three years. Yeah, I don't know how he thinks
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: that's gonna Yeah, he'd been not later, he'd been not
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: say that. Nobody didn't lay down He's gonna mess them
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: kids and didn't lay down. He can't go to sleep
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: in that house. I can't make that statement. And didn't
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: go get into bed and start snooging. No, that's been
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to being a temp on your life. You probably need
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to wake up. But that was kind of cold though.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, he plans to focus more on his
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: kids and spend quality time with them alone during the holiday,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: And you said this. I laughed, all right, Steve, Well,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: hang on, Part two of your answer is coming up. Um,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: we'll take a short break here and come back at
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: twenty three after the hours subject one big happy family
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: or nothing at all right after this, you're listening, all right,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: Steve U. This letter is crazy. Let's recap subject one
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: big happy family or nothing at all. Well, it look
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: like nothing at all because he want to spend this
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: holiday with his kids, spend more time with his kids alone,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that time of making your kids have happy Christmases and
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: my kids over here they lift stuck out. Now we're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: not gonna do that this year. Michelle. I want you
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: to be the wife asking me why we can't have
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: this Christmas together, and you're gonna be repeatedly keep asking
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: me about this Christmas, and I'm gonna keep giving you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: different beach. Okay, Well, honey, um, I'm so happy the
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: holidays are here. I can't wait to spend Christmas with you. Well,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: you know, I wish I could say the same. Well,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: what do you mean we are spending it together, aren't we? Well,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: you know, we're gonna spend it together, but it's gonna
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: be separate. But separate is not together. Honey, We're gonna
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: spend Christmas together, right, you, me and the kids. Hey, look,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: you need to keep saying the word together. I'm just
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: telling you we're gonna spend it together. We're gonna be together,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: but it's gonna be separate. I want to spend it together,
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: you know, you, me, the kids, us. Hold on, hold on,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: hold on? What what kids you talking about? I'm talking
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: about our kids, my kids and your kids. Now what No, No,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: See your kids are your kids, my kid Me and

- 1:03:00Speaker 1: years now. See all this, all this important to you. Yes,
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: and I thought it was important to you that we
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: be together. But not like this though, You talking about
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: all the time I'm talking about during the holidays. Yes, honey,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: I've planned stuff, I've cooked, I've invited people. Over all
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: of that, you know, one big happy family. Well, I
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: don't you know, baby, damn you know. You don't ask
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: me nothing. Well, we've we've been together for three years.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: It's kind of a given that we spend the holidays together. Yeah,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: but you ain't. You ain't like, did nothing special for
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the holidays. I've been out here lyning people up. So
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: we make our move, make our move. I thought we
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: were gonna just be together. We put the Christmas tree
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: up and did the decorations and everything. Who all he'll
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: put your Christmas tree? Did you? Well? The kids, yeah,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: ain't nobody help but the talk kids. You don't know
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: what they name. Color got to be by something call
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: the little lad kid. Couldn't help out. So where ain't
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: nobody help but to talk? Excuse me aside? There's an aside, honey.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: What did you say? Nephews away about hike them even
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: in the litter, but go home? They just did. But
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: the shop kids is what is they doing? I don't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: know what the shop kids. They put all ornaments on
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: the bottom of the tree, and they put your skirt
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: round and the water shot kids, water. We got plenty
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: for show people to do round. Somebody got to plug
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: it off every night. Yeah, that way you ain't got
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to being over you. It ain't nothing shot work, ain't
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: nothing for you. Well, honey, And the tree looks so beautiful.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'm so grateful, and I just wanted to spend it together,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: you know, you mean us together. And they hang these
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: balls on the bottom of that tree too. I like
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: I like tree balls at the bottom of the tree. Okay, ornaments, yes,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: yeah them ornament but the balls though, I don't like
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Christmas ornament as others. You know, acorn Christmas tree? Can
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I just like ball? Like all that angel? Don't look
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: like angel? What about the lights that makes the tree
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: look so pretty? Yeah? Yeah, you gotta hear. Lights that
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: ornament you made in school and brought home. But it
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: doesn't matter what's on the tree. It just as long
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: as we're together, honey, and I want to be together
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: for this Christmas? Well, baby, that ain't that? Ain't what
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: we fit to do? No more? Well why not? I mean,
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: what's the problem now? See? You know you just trying
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: to make this something Mills. I'm trying to make this
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: something else. I haven't told you we got from that.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Don't holler, don't That's why we need right here. You
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: don't need to yell at me. You can't hear, I
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: can't hear. Just fine, I can here, Just fine where
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: you can be by yourself. But we're gonna be there.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: How about that that's alone, and then we're gonna be
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: they just come up here. It's my house too, yes,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: clip back? What are you talking about? I don't pay
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the mortgage and never will, but it's my house. I
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: don't know who told you that. I told myself that
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: when we when we first started living together. Oh, well,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to get a restraining order on you.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Oh that works both ways. I can get one on
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you too, you know. But we're gonna be together. Saint California,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: this califod Oh you try and do me. Oh, we're
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: gonna be together. Well, you want to be the cliff?
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: What a he? What you do? You? And I'm gonna
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: do you? Never probably had the best priciple we ever had. No,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I don't think so, honey. It's not gonna go like that.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: We've been together for three years. We've always spent Christmas together.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: We're gonna be together this Christmas, whether you like it
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: or not. We were you cooking by whoever you want.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: We ain't gonna make it to vault. We ain't gonna
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: make it too well. Do you have someone else? Do
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: I have someone? You've hired me? Because why wouldn't you
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: want to spend it with me? You've been spending Christmas
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: with me all of a sudden, Oh so you want

- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Harvey's Health and Wellness segment. It features holistic and wellness
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: health educator doctor Ronnie. All right, we love her, but
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: right now dating a workaholic. There's a theory that dating
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: someone who's addicted to their job just as bad as
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: dating someone who is addicted to addicted to a substance. Steve,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, Can you be in a
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: healthy relationship with someone who is addicted to their job?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Or can two people who are each addicted to their
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: own job have a health the relationship with each other?
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: That issue. Addicted is a tough word. Yeah, if you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: are addicted to your job, any addiction, it's a problem.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: It means you're doing something in excess and you can't
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: seem to control it. Right, you keep going back so
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: you could control it, but if you think you trapped
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: in it. So it's a lot of ways around this thing.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I don't what would you do, Junior, I just throw it.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: I'm sitting here looking at you. You just staying at
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: me talking? Well, why do you see it in this? Junior?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I see it? I can't. It can work, It can work.
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: You know, two people are addicted to their job. You know,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: if you love doing what you do. You know, I
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: mean I love my job. But isn't it a time issue? Though?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: I mean, if you're addicted to your job, do you
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: have time to with each other? Yeah? Well both of
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: you is addicted. Huh. Has to be a mutual time
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: you know that you agree upon and it probably ain't
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: gonna be long. Yeah, you're I don't. I don't see
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: this working because your job comes first. You won't. You
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: don't put the other person first. Can you be in there?
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Here's my question, ladies, could you be in a relationship
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: with a man who was addicted to you? Oh? Why not? Yeah?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Be addicted to me? Yeah, y'all? Yes? Oh? Man, yes, yes,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: what's your get on your nerves? Like every time they
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: do something right, mothering you turn around? Yeah, smothered. Well,
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I'm using the word addiction in the harshest way because,
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: like I said, addiction is a tough word. It is.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: So the question is how would you would you like
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: to be in a relationship with a man that was
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: addicted to you? Now this might sound good, be all
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: over me, but I mean everywhere, but Steve, he has
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: to have time. I mean, I mean, why are you
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: in the bathroom? Yea yeah, he right there at the water. Now.
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: Everyone needs me time. Everyone needs a lone time and
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: me time every even if you're in a relationship and
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: you're very close and all of that, you still need
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: your me time. Yeah, you want to hit it every day? Yeah?
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: She and the toilet, baby, it's paper. Ain't you want
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: me give you some water? Why you using? That? Would
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: kill on my that would get on what you hear
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: from lunch today? You want some water? Oh, you're in
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: the kitchen cooking and he's sitting on the countertop talking
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: to you while you trying to kill that's garlic side
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: of garlic powder. Yeah, that's it. There is a thing
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: called too much. Yeah. Yeah, what you're saying, I'm going
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: to the stop. Well let me get him on others.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, hold up, you need some time to yourself.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Everyone needs you. Want me to flows your baby when
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: you get lost. I'm good. I'm not worried about that
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I've lost my face. I don't need to know what
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: you go to work? Yeah, we'll see. That's the thing though,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: So the workaholic, because I know that I have a
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: girlfriend that she says she complains because her man works
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: all the time. And I'm like, got to be a
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: healthy balance. If you can't make it to the salon,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I shall know my family. They did what they thought
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: was an intervention on me to talk to me about
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: the hours I work and I need to slow down. Yeah,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: and I agree with them, and so do we yea.
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: But I asked him all the time though, Oh, what
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: what's y'all's payment playing for all this hit? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: I mean, you know, y'all over here just steady opening
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: up bottles of water and putting your knie. I didn't
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: put a magic marker in the water drawer so everybody
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: can label a water when they come over. Because I
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: can't stand at the end of the night. I look
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: at that and it's fourteen bottles of half half EG
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: and I'm setting a pin that going okay, yeah, you
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: know this was your house. You wouldn't land no fourteen
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: half open bottle. Put your name on your damn bottle
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: with that magic mark I put in it. But but
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: there comes a point when are you working because you
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: have to work? Or are you working because you just
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: love what you do too? It's a combination. Somebody, my
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: son says something that was really moving to me, and
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: it kind of really made me feel really good because
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: it let me know he was thinking about it. Dad.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: So I was talking to this wealthy guy. He was
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: from Kirshny or somewhere like that. I don't know what.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I don't either, a really nice guy. Remember you're talking,
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: He said, Steve, what are you going to do now?
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I said, Man, I want to be a billion now?
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: He said for what? What? What do you need it for?
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: He said, names something that you can do with a
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: billion dollars that you can't do right now? You live
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: in nice homes, you fly private your own cars, you want,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you dress how you want. What can you do anymore
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: with the billion that you can't do now. My son
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: went and looked at him and said nothing. My dad
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: just wants to do nothing. He said, my dad just
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: wants to do nothing. And with a billion dollars, he
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: can go do nothing. And I'd love to see my
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: dad smile like he did when he ain't doing nothing.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: That's great and that was the coolest thing for men
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that he gets in. You know what I'm trying to do.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: I don't need to Billia not to do nothing, though,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: trust me, I gotta do nothing as number all right,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, Steve's Health
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: and Wellness segment with wellness and holistic health educator doctor Ronnie.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening, l right, everybody here we go.

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: start detoxing for health conditions. Please welcome to the show, everybody,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Doctor Ronnie welcome, Welcome, Well, doctor, let me introduce you
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to everybody. Tell everybody a little bit about yourself. Okay,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you know I've been doing this for all of thirty years.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I don't need to tell you how old I am.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: But I am excited to do this because basically all
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: my life, I've been helping individuals around the country to
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: get healthy. Whether it's weight loss, whether it's cancer care,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: whether it's lupez Arthur writ is, it doesn't matter. My
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: background is chronic illness. But what's exciting about my background
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: getting people healthy is my lifestyle. I've always been doing
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: that from the time I'm that. I started as a
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: nurse over forty years ago. My basic background who I
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: am as a person is helping people all around the
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: country to get healthy. And people think that's a hard job,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: but it's not a hard job for me because it's
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: my passion. I wake up and think health. I wake
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: up and think about who am I going to help today.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: If I don't help somebody in the day, then that
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: means I'm sick y'all. But a call nine one one,
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: so you know, yeah, see that's that's the type of
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: thing people need to And she's helped me immensely all
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: types of we've we've done herbs. It's always a holistic approach.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: She doesn't give me anything that's you know, not holistic,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: not her, she doesn't do it and just been a
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: tremendous health to me. Let's get to it today. You
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: want to talk about holiday eating now, holiday eating lies
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: that we tell ourselves. When you say we tell us
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: sales holiday eating lies, doctor Runnie, what are you talking about?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Oh you have no idea. And I get approached every
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: single year with the same lies, and I'm like, come on,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: this is like thirty years you're telling me this. You
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: know some of the most I mean amazing lies. Like
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: for an example, this is a favorite one. I only
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: eat a thousand calories. If I do that, then I'm
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: not gonna gain weight. Oh here's another one. Do you
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: know that people think that if they just drink water
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: and all day long and not eat, that they're not
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: gonna gain weight. Every single year I get one, I'm
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: gonna just drink water. I'm not gonna eat all that
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: fattening food and it's just a rebound effect. Another one is,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: this is a favorite one. This year, I will just
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: only eat meat and I'm gonna do the Keto diet
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna I'm gonna I'm not gonna gain
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: any weight for the holidays. And my other favorite is,
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: oh my goodness, this one is unbelievable. I'm gonna take
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: a laxative every day, doctor Ronnie, And if I take
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: this laxative tea, I won't gain any weight. And I'm
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: not getting It's like unbelievable. And I said, oh my
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: please don't tell me that. You told me that last year.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Every single year you gain more weight, and it's just
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: becomes so amazing to me. And the other one is, um,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: you know what, if I just eat a little bit
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: of every single thing, I won't gain any weight this year.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: And my other one is I'm just overweight because of
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: my jeans, my entire families overweight. You know, there's nothing
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I can do. That's just who I am as a person.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: I'm never gonna lose weight. So my friend told me
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: not too long ago. She's gonna wear a girdle. So
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: she wears a girdle. But they don't call it girdles.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry. They call it waste trainers. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: waist trainer. I'm gonna put on the waist trainer. But
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: she actually said girdle. And she said, I'm gonna tighten
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: my stomach a really tight and I won't gain any
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: weight this year, and she really believes that's gonna work.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: So it's some shocking. I mean, you're going over and
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: you're so right, because how many times we've all heard
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: these right here. But let's talk about what you've always
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: talked to me about. Let's talk about sugar. It's it's
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: a lifestyle, you know, Okay. The American Heart Association says
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: that we should eat twenty five grams of sugar a day,
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: no more than that. But the average American eats one
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: hundred grams of sugar a day. And what that does
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to your liver and your pancreas. It overwhelms your pancreas
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: so that it doesn't work, you know, because the pancreas
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: is responsible for producing insulin, and the insulin is supposed
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: to go in there and use the sugar for energy. Well,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: it's just too much sugar. So therefore sugar spills over
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: in your blood stream. And you know what happens when
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: you have too much sugar. You feel horrible, You don't
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: even you can't even finish your entire day of work.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: You feel depressed, you have you feel hungry, your brain fog,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: all of these symptoms that you have because you're eating
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: too much sugar. And that's why, right when you go
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: into detox and your detox from sugar, all of a sudden,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you get all this energy, but you don't put two
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: and two together because then again next month you do
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: the exact same thing. It's like a vicious cycle because
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: sugar actually makes you crave sugar. So if you try it,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: just get off a sugar for a while. Just go
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: onto some you know, moderate proteins, some vegetables, but you
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: gotta stay with you know, complex carbs don't don't start.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: You know, people say, well, I do carbs, but I
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: eat healthy carbs, and they don't even know what healthy
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: carbs are anymore, because healthy carbs are basically complex or
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: greens and most vegetables. We're not talking about fruit, bread,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: and what do you call those biscuits and all of
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: that stuff. You got to really stay with complex carbs.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: So a lot of people feel better when they detox
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: off of sugar, but then they have this rebound effect
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: where they absolutely crash, and that's because they're not doing
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it right. It's a lifestyle, it's not a diet. You know,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: there's hundreds of diets out there, and you already know
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: that with all these diets, people are still overweight. Why
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: because the body wants one thing for you and the
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: body don't even want food anymore because we don't We
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: don't really know what food is, and all the time
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: might tell people, you know, this is the craziest thing. Okay,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: your immune system wants Q on coenzy and Q ten,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Your cells want iron and magnesium, Your heart wants B vitamins,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Your prostate wants selenium. You see what I'm getting at.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Your healthy blood vessels want vitamin E. If I go
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: on and on and on, I'll have like a list
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: of thirty to forty things that our body needs in
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: not getting it. Because what we think is if we
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: just have one thing that we're gonna get healthy. When
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: our body wants a complex of nutrients. There's over a
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: hundred nutrients that our body requires. Why we keep thinking
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: that one thing's gonna do it, like vitamin D. Everybody
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: tells me, Oh, but I'm taking vitamin D. Hold on
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: right there, doctor Ronnie, stay right there. We'll be right
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: back because we want to hear that. I want to
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: ask the one question that everybody's wondering about, what promote
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: fat burning? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, So hang on, we'll
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: be right back with that. Get ready, of y'all, it
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: ain't gonna be nothing. You're listening. I got back with
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: doctor Ronnie, and Doctor Ronnie has been going over a
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: bunch of the myths and lies that we tell ourselves
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: over the holiday eating. When we left, I was asking
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: her what foods promote fat burning. So, Doctor Ronnie, if
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: you would say to me, Steve, these are the foods
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: you could eat that would promote fat burning, what would
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you say to that? Well, first of all, I love
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: almonds and almond milk, I love salmon beans, and you know,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: there's a lot of great spices that you could put
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: in your food if you don't want to. I mean,
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: you're your people saying, well, I'm just sticking vegetables all
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: the time. But it's not only vegetables, you know, protein
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: and vegetables. And then there's also of course we know
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: about the fat burning great fruit, but also do you
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: know that berries is another fat burner, and also all
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: the citrus fruits are a fat burner. But mostly if
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you give your body protein quality protein with greens, it
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: helps you burn fat. Here's the spices that I love.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Cinnamon is a great, great fat burner, chermick is another one,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: ginger's another one, Cayenne pepper and gensing and being extract.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Now a lot of people are probably thinking, I'm gonna
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: pour a whole lot of spices in my food and
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: that should burn fat. You know, I know, I know,
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I know somebody did it. They put a whole bunch
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: of cayenne pepper thinking that that was gonna burn fat
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: and all they were doing with burning there intestines of
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: So you gotta be you know, literally, you gotta be careful.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: You know, you just can't take one food and expect
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: to a mar because basically everything has to make sense
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: like a right before break, I was going on all
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: these nutrients that you need to make a body healthy.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: It's not just one thing. It's a complex, over one
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: hundred nutrients. You need, fourteen vitamins that are essential, fourteen
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: minerals that are central, twenty amino acids. All of these
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: things create health in the repair of the body. These
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: things that you're saying our body needs. You were telling
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: me you have a product that has all these nutrients
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: in it. Today they have some the most innovative treatments
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: and products out there. Knowledge is power all day long.
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: So today they have this food. You can like do
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: a protein shake with over one hundred nutrients in it.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: You can actually it's called blends. It's amazing and I
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: do it all the time. I looked at myself in
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: the mirror one day and almost scare me. I mean literally,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it is changing the way I look and the other
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: thing is doing. I don't have like that add feeling anymore.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: I feel completely calm because it so. I could be
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: at my desk and I could be doing five or
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: six different things, and I forgot what the first thing
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: was that I was working on. Now I can sit
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: at my desk and I can attend to one task
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: and finish it and complete it. And I know for
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: a fact it's because of the food blends. And you
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: know what I call it. I call it nutrients. Your
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: body wants nutrients for you. It's almost as if I
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: opened up a package of like vitamins and minerals, but
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: it's like gravy and I mix some water with it
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: and I'll pour it on my food. Or I could
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: open up another package and I put it in my soup.
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: But what I really like or the protein drinks, because
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: it has everything in it have almost twenty something different
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: essential fatty acids. And so what I call it is
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: a food bar. I'll grab a food nutrient dense bar
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: and put it in my purse and keep on going.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: And I'm never hungry because, like I said earlier, the
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: body's not looking for food, it's looking for nutrients. Okay,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: gotta retrain our brain what food is? Okay? So doctor Ronnie,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: now you're gonna be on Facebook Live. What day are
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: you on Facebook Live? I'm on Facebook Live every Wednesday? Everyone,
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: all right, I'm be on it today. So at nine fifteen,
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: starting next week, when they look you up on Facebook
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Hot today find you, you go to Steve Harvey Health
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: and Wellness dot Com. Okay. From your Facebook app, you
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: go to Steve Harvey Health and Wellness and you look

- 1:27:54Speaker 1: want to thank you. Water and take aarensigns. All right,
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: thank you, doctor Ronnie. We areprey. She ate you so much.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Cute coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, Steve.
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: It has been confirmed on Instagram, Kevin Hart says he's
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: hosting the twenty nineteen Academy Awards. In February, Kevin shared
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: a photo of the iconic goal statue with a special
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: message to his fans on the IG. For years, I've
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: been asked if I would ever host the Oscars, and
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: my answer was always the same. I said that it
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: would be the opportunity of a lifetime for me as
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: a comedian and that it will happen when it's supposed to.
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: That's what Kevin wrote in the caption. Kevin also says,
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: I am so happy to say that the day has
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: finally come from me to host the Oscars. I am
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: blown away simply because this has been a goal on
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: my list for a long time. Kevin went on to say,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: I appreciate the Academy for the opportunity. Now it's time
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: to rise to the occasion. Hashtag Oscars. Yeah, that's beyond huge.
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: It is. That is so that's so major. You don't
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: understand the Oscars is what this is all about. In
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: their world. This is bigger than the super Bowl. Yeah,
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: they see it's about the Oscars. Yeah, and they really see.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: It's about who hosts. And that's a real honor to
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: be asked to host that. That ain't my bucket list.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: I ain't got to be disappointed. So it's a long show,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: and you know, I mean he has time to prepare.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Thank god. This is December, well not a whole lot,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: but December, January, February. But he can do it though,
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: he can pull it off. He can do it. He
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: definitely an amazing team. Yeah, Yeah, he's gonna be funny,
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: It'll be great. I remember when Chris Rock's friends legends,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Chris Rock will be Goldberg Ellen Pale baby, that's what
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: you call. Yeah, Steve even Yeah, how about Steve Harvey? Right,
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: But you hosted big live events. Yeah, okay, I'll just try.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: I can tell you what how to not get put
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: off TV? All you got you want to call here
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: that I can get you not. But whoopy hosted it
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: several times? H Billy Crystal of course, Um, Chris rock
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: Ellen Yeah, oh yeah, all of them. Yeah, Jimmy Kimmel,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, all of them who hosted it? Really good?
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: So congratulations Kevin Hart. Uh that that's that's just awesome,
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: it really is. Yeah. I know how bad I'd be
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: at the damn Moscars. I wouldn't know nobody. Huh. You
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: know how bad i'd be at the Oscars. I don't
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: know nobody. Oh yeah, you don't know. Yeah, yeah, somebody
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: being yo yo tho dog, you'd be straight walk me through,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: lady and General Meryl Street. Oh from the no I said,
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: Jane fun you got Rota out of Randa and maybe
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: spelled it wrong. Yeah yeah, all right, Coming up, it's
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey and his closing remarks. You don't want to
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: miss it. At forty nine after the hour, you're listening,
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: all right, here we are Steve, last break of the day.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: It's been a great day. What a day when a day. Yeah,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: it's been a crazy day today. So Steve, now it's
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: time for you to take us home with your closing remarks.
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: My closing remarks today, um are gonna be based around
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: the value of yourself. I think this is important. Tommy
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: sent this to me, you know, a bill board, and
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: it really triggered me to thinking, I'm gonna share that
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: with you. But it all pertains to the value of yourself.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: This can pertain to you in terms of reaching your goals,
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: your dreams, all in business, and this is for you
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: to consider in the relationship of love. It is amazing
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: to me why I talk to people and people talk
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: about how they're being treated and handled and represented and
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: dealt with, and how they can't seem to get no
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: old body to see their value and their worth. And
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: I'm sending a bit going, wait a minute, wait a minute.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: You can't try to get someone to see something in
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: you that you don't see in yourself. It starts with you.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: You know, you've all heard the saying beauty is on
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: the inside is not just skin deep. That's true. Confidence
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: is not an outward emotion. It's something that starts from within.
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: Everything starts from within, and it exudes and and and
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: and manifest itself in the outward shape or form. So
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: if you want people to value you, you must first
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: value yourself. I tell my daughters all the time, you
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: can train a man how to treat you well, Daddy,
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: how do you train a man? You just don't accept
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: bad treatment from him. If you don't accept bad treatment
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: from him, little girl of mine, then guess what? He
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: can't keep giving it to you. A person can only
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: treat you the way you allow them to do it.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: If you don't accept a man coming to pick you
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: up late all the time, but you stop going with
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: him every time he late, the next time he want
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: to go out with you, he got to be on time. Now.
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: If he don't want to be on time, then guess what.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: You don't go out. You've trained him how to treat you,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: and if he don't line up with what you walk,
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: then guess what he not for you. At least you
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: don't have to be mistreated the way he want to
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: treat you by simply not allowing him to treat you
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: any way he wants to. You cannot have high value
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: for yourself and expect someone else to have a high
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: value of you. That goes into the same thing. With business.
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: You can't go in and ask for a raise if
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: you don't think you deserved one. What would cause you
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: to walk in there and ask for a raise if
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: you don't think you deserve one, If you don't have
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: the facts to back up a raise. You can't want
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: more money just because you don't spend all the money
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: you had. You got to go in there and ask
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: for a raise because you can show value to the company.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: You're worth this much more to the company. The company
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: has become this because of you. Then you can show
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: your value. Then you can go in there with a raise,
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: and you can go in there with some This with
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: the rays. It happens with goals and dreams. If you
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: aim too low, your problem is you might hit it.
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: But I'm gonna say that for tomorrow. So it's what
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: you think of yourself, how you value yourself, that matters most.
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: Now let me tell you what was said to me.
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: I listen to this real careful, because this is going
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: to register with a lot of people. Listen to me.
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: If you aren't being treated with love and respect, check
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: your price tag. Maybe you've marked yourself down. It's you
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: who tells people what you're worth. Get off the clearest
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: rack and get behind the glass where they keep the valuables.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: It's you who tells people what you're worth. Get off
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: the clearest rack and get behind the glass where they
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: keep the valuable Stop acting like you a sidewalk salep.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: Acting like you can be picked up at the swap meet.
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: Stop acting like you belong in the junkyard. You're a
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: new car. Don't act like an old car. I don't
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: care how old you are to somebody. You got to
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: be a new car. Stop putting yourself on the sales
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: rack when clearly you deserve full price. If you lure
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: the value for yourself, that's what we'll pay for you,
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: and that's how we'll treat you. And that's how we respect.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: If you don't respect yourself, if I see you constantly
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: disrespecting yourself, then you're gonna turn to me and demand respect.
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: How does that work? That be a coat where they
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: got the lock on it. See you can't take me
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: off the rat and just try me on. No, that
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: ain't how this work. See. But now you go over
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: that to that valuable section in the store. You everybody
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: been to mass You got that stuff where you got
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: to go get a salesperson to come and unlock it
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: for you to even try it on. That's cause data
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: put a value on that. Or you going over there
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: and just put the little shirt on. T shirts ain't
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: locked up. Anybody can get one if you're steal his
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: T shirt. It ain't that bigger loss name before dollars,
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: pack of three. Come over here, body's swede, Come over here,
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: body's first stuff. We got locks on this stuff right
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: here because it has value. We know it has value,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: So we can't just let you try to stop letting
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: people just try you on. You got it, put a
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: value to yourself, maintain it, you determine your value. Don't
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: let other people do it. You do it all right?
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: Those are my closing your ball, drop the mic, drop
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: the mic baby, thank you, Tommy, appreciate you. Pemp needed that,
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: but that I just need thought starters, Hey man, Can
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: I tell y'allself announcement, have a great weekend for all.
