- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your back.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will. The good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now. One
- 2:07Speaker 1: and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God. Because God
- 2:15Speaker 1: is simply amazing, because God is off the chain, because
- 2:20Speaker 1: God is over the top, because God is all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: in a bag of chips. God is amazing man. God
- 2:26Speaker 1: will take you places that you never ever thought you
- 2:30Speaker 1: would go, or you know what. It's sometimes it amazes
- 2:34Speaker 1: me when I'm watching ah people talk about themselves and
- 2:37Speaker 1: their careers and where they're adding life and things and
- 2:41Speaker 1: they and and I hear people say, you know, always
- 2:44Speaker 1: dreamed of being him. You know, I can understand when
- 2:48Speaker 1: a person says that I've I've always dreamed that of
- 2:51Speaker 1: something like this would happen to me. But I want
- 2:53Speaker 1: you to think about that for a second. Did you
- 2:58Speaker 1: really see it just like that? Though? Did you really
- 3:02Speaker 1: really see it just like that? Did you really know
- 3:10Speaker 1: that God was gonna bring you through all he bought
- 3:12Speaker 1: you through to get you to this place? Did you
- 3:16Speaker 1: know that in spite of the losses along the way
- 3:19Speaker 1: that would crumbled the average person, that somehow He kept
- 3:23Speaker 1: you through it all and that's how you got here?
- 3:27Speaker 1: Did did you think of you know? I mean, you know,
- 3:30Speaker 1: you know? I mean, since you're so busy talking about
- 3:32Speaker 1: yourself now, have you forgotten all the times He was
- 3:37Speaker 1: bringing you through when you didn't see no way that
- 3:41Speaker 1: you was gonna get through? Do you remember that? So
- 3:44Speaker 1: when you sit there and you say, I dreamed of this,
- 3:48Speaker 1: this is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, a real
- 3:55Speaker 1: close inventory of your life, and you look back on
- 3:59Speaker 1: it all, stop, look and at the moment right now,
- 4:01Speaker 1: remember where you come from. See, that's what gets me
- 4:04Speaker 1: emotional sometimes, that's what makes me tear up because when
- 4:07Speaker 1: something is happening to me in the moment, it ain't
- 4:11Speaker 1: the moment for me, it's the memory of how I
- 4:15Speaker 1: got there. It's the recollection of all the things, all
- 4:20Speaker 1: the nights, all the days in that car, all the
- 4:23Speaker 1: times by myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna
- 4:27Speaker 1: make it. But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing
- 4:30Speaker 1: out on the ward to me or somebody calling my name,
- 4:33Speaker 1: that's that. Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:38Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 1: I always dreamed of, did you really think in those
- 4:43Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:48Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and and this
- 4:51Speaker 1: is kind of for young people today, Um what I'm
- 4:54Speaker 1: about to say. But then guess what, sometimes I have
- 4:57Speaker 1: to remind myself of it, So I guess it's still
- 4:59Speaker 1: kind of for every by it, you know, because I
- 5:01Speaker 1: work with a lot of young people, and and and
- 5:04Speaker 1: and so many times, man, young people just don't understand
- 5:09Speaker 1: what all it takes. And I know, and if you're
- 5:12Speaker 1: a full grown adult, if your forty You you really
- 5:15Speaker 1: understanding where I'm coming from, because you know, you know
- 5:20Speaker 1: it's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't
- 5:23Speaker 1: understand this, that you got to do some things that
- 5:27Speaker 1: you don't want to do in order to do what
- 5:30Speaker 1: you want to do. You have to understand this principle
- 5:34Speaker 1: of success or else you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 1: ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 1: all of that. But in the meantime, though, there are
- 5:49Speaker 1: some necessary steps that you have to take in order
- 5:51Speaker 1: to become successful. And you cannot skip these steps. You
- 5:56Speaker 1: can't jump over these steps just because you want to
- 5:58Speaker 1: be rich Friday, I got that. I got that, I
- 6:01Speaker 1: I everybody got that. But if you want this, whatever
- 6:06Speaker 1: you're talking about, whether it's money or success or fame
- 6:09Speaker 1: or climbing the corporate letter or this is the position
- 6:12Speaker 1: or you all, that's fine and then it. Please hold
- 6:16Speaker 1: on to your dreams. Dreams come true. But in the meantime,
- 6:22Speaker 1: let me remind you of something that you gotta do
- 6:25Speaker 1: some things you don't want to do in order to
- 6:28Speaker 1: do what you want to do. You must get this
- 6:32Speaker 1: in your head. There are some survival things that you
- 6:35Speaker 1: have to master in order to do what you wanna do.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Let's take you down. Let's say you won't be rich
- 6:43Speaker 1: and famous. Let's just say that's it for you. Let's it.
- 6:46Speaker 1: There as a lot of other ways of being successful.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Please don't think that's the only one. But I'm just saying,
- 6:50Speaker 1: let's just say yours is rich and famous. And let's
- 6:54Speaker 1: say some miraculous way God made you rich and famous.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Next Friday. There, y'all, you're rich and you're famous. Next Friday.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Can I share something with you? This is not going
- 7:07Speaker 1: to last for you. You know why, because you have
- 7:10Speaker 1: not done the things necessary. You have not done the
- 7:15Speaker 1: things that you have to do in order to do
- 7:18Speaker 1: the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:22Speaker 1: How you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:26Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:28Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal? How
- 7:32Speaker 1: are you gonna know how to reinvent yourself if you
- 7:34Speaker 1: didn't even invent yourself in the first place. See, it's
- 7:38Speaker 1: so many things you got to know about something, and
- 7:41Speaker 1: you think, because it's what you want right now, it's
- 7:44Speaker 1: supposed to happen just now. It's a process. When you
- 7:46Speaker 1: ask God for something. Please No, God know the process.
- 7:51Speaker 1: He know the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:54Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:57Speaker 1: true right now? Man, You know you know I think
- 8:03Speaker 1: the best way y'all is is for me. I just
- 8:05Speaker 1: used myself as an example. I really do understand why
- 8:08Speaker 1: God has given me the life he's given me so far.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I understand that being home this part. Now, I get
- 8:14Speaker 1: the not being successful when I wanted to part. Now
- 8:17Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:20Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:24Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:26Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:29Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I didn't get it then I was mad at God.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You know what, I won't not send it here here.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I I got exactly what you want. But I got
- 8:39Speaker 1: this process. I want you to go through to get
- 8:41Speaker 1: here too, because see, I'm going to take you somewhere.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You don't know nothing, but one day you're gonna have
- 8:46Speaker 1: a radio show with You're a little stupid behind you
- 8:48Speaker 1: don't know this year, I'm gonna bless you with a
- 8:50Speaker 1: radio show. You don't even know it. That's why I
- 8:52Speaker 1: said every morning, Steve Harvey got a radio show. Because
- 8:55Speaker 1: see I didn't I didn't see this one coming. But
- 8:58Speaker 1: see God had a plan for me. It was in
- 8:59Speaker 1: the blue print of my life. So God said, what
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna make your life a
- 9:04Speaker 1: little rough for you. I'm gonna toss you up a
- 9:07Speaker 1: little bit. I'm I'm gonna let you make some of
- 9:10Speaker 1: these stupid decisions you wanna make it. I'm gonna make
- 9:12Speaker 1: you learn from him. I'm I'm I'm gonna let you
- 9:15Speaker 1: be homeless for a little while. I'm I'm gonna let
- 9:17Speaker 1: you not get into your field of choice until your
- 9:20Speaker 1: twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talk about if we
- 9:22Speaker 1: had only seen him when he was younger. I ain't
- 9:24Speaker 1: gonna let you get your first call, your name to
- 9:27Speaker 1: your third or eight. I'm gonna make you go through
- 9:29Speaker 1: some things because one day I'm gonna put a microphone
- 9:32Speaker 1: in front of your mouth, and i want you to
- 9:34Speaker 1: honor me. I want you to talk about me. I
- 9:37Speaker 1: want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:39Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:42Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:44Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you. That's
- 9:47Speaker 1: God dealing with me. See so now I finally understand
- 9:52Speaker 1: why I went through the life I went through, so
- 9:54Speaker 1: I can have something to say. See, I ain't over
- 9:57Speaker 1: here telling you about what I think are happened. I'm
- 10:00Speaker 1: telling you what I know can happen. That God does
- 10:03Speaker 1: make dreams come true, but sometimes it take a minute.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 10:08Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you wanna do. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I finally got on TV, but I had to learn
- 10:15Speaker 1: some things along the way. See maybe He waited for
- 10:17Speaker 1: me to get some of these messages for He gave
- 10:20Speaker 1: me this gift that I want so I would appreciate
- 10:22Speaker 1: it more. See when you don't get into comedy when
- 10:24Speaker 1: you to you twenty eight and you've been wanting to
- 10:26Speaker 1: since you nine, Now when you get into it, you
- 10:28Speaker 1: appreciate it more. Then. Guess what I've been through so
- 10:31Speaker 1: many struggles and a divorce and life had turned me around.
- 10:35Speaker 1: So when I became homeless, I still didn't give up
- 10:39Speaker 1: because I had appreciated the fact that it took me
- 10:42Speaker 1: so long to get here that nothing was gonna deter me,
- 10:45Speaker 1: and he gave me the fortitude and the strength to
- 10:48Speaker 1: hang on in there. Just don't leave him out to mix, Okay,
- 10:51Speaker 1: Because you're trying and do this by yourself. It ain't
- 10:53Speaker 1: working for you, all right. I'll that you. I'm gonna
- 10:55Speaker 1: be tripping it death. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, bars
- 11:02Speaker 1: and girls, please may have your attention. Please. Today's show
- 11:07Speaker 1: is dedicated to those of you who are striving for greatness.
- 11:12Speaker 1: This is for everybody that's striving for greatness. I ran
- 11:17Speaker 1: across some information that I have got to share with
- 11:20Speaker 1: you because this is good news. A guy sent me
- 11:25Speaker 1: this today and it's a it's a billboard, but it
- 11:29Speaker 1: says in capital letters, never forget three types of people
- 11:35Speaker 1: in your life. Never forget three types of people in
- 11:40Speaker 1: your life. The first person you should never forget is
- 11:44Speaker 1: who helped you in your difficult times. That's the first person.
- 11:50Speaker 1: The second person you should never forget is who left
- 11:53Speaker 1: you in your difficult time. You need to who they
- 11:58Speaker 1: are who left you in your difficult times. And the
- 12:02Speaker 1: third person you should always remember is who put you
- 12:06Speaker 1: in difficult times? Whoa get your mind? They could be
- 12:10Speaker 1: the same person, right, who put you in your difficult time?
- 12:15Speaker 1: Not a thing maybe in your life, nephew, ain't nobody
- 12:21Speaker 1: helped me in my difficult time? Was the same one
- 12:24Speaker 1: that put me there? Yea, yeah, those are those are
- 12:31Speaker 1: some important people that puts you. Could have been the
- 12:34Speaker 1: one that left you times. Oh, the one that puts
- 12:38Speaker 1: you in the shot. That's been my Yeah, that's been
- 12:42Speaker 1: my biggest one. That those two can go. Yeah, who
- 12:50Speaker 1: who left you in your difficult time? And it was
- 12:53Speaker 1: the same person that put me in the off skipping
- 12:57Speaker 1: like what nothing going on? Are you in? Yeah? Good
- 13:01Speaker 1: morning everybody, Leslette, what's going on today? Hey, good morning crew?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Join morning Food number one, your sir, your sir in
- 13:14Speaker 1: the building, Food number two series. This same thing to me,
- 13:28Speaker 1: That's where my head was downsta because I said, if
- 13:32Speaker 1: I busted out laughing right now, Steve's gonna look at
- 13:34Speaker 1: me so crazy, just type the person just full of him? Right,
- 13:42Speaker 1: But you didn't, did you? Eventually? You always? He used
- 13:53Speaker 1: to me with us when we were in La before. Yeah.
- 13:56Speaker 1: God has a way of doing it in his own
- 14:00Speaker 1: yes he does. And that's the thing. It's easy to
- 14:03Speaker 1: have faith when you look at high could end up oh,
- 14:07Speaker 1: because that's exciting and it looks rewarding. The difficult part
- 14:11Speaker 1: is keeping faith in the middle going through it's in
- 14:14Speaker 1: the middle where you got to keep the faith, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: most people lose the trip because they lose faith in
- 14:19Speaker 1: the middle. Hey, y'all, if you're going through something and
- 14:22Speaker 1: you're in the middle of it, keep your faith because
- 14:24Speaker 1: the end will surely come. Keep your faith, man, keep
- 14:27Speaker 1: it great. Coming up, Truth be told? And don't you
- 14:31Speaker 1: hate going over other people's house and they don't have
- 14:33Speaker 1: stuff you're used to. At thirty two afternoon, we're about
- 14:38Speaker 1: to have a conversation. You're listening to Steve Hardy Show.
- 14:45Speaker 1: You're trying for something funny, of course, and we're gonna
- 14:48Speaker 1: go Junior. You up first, Truth be told, Truth be told.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I can't help you. Take phone call. I got this weekend.
- 14:59Speaker 1: You know, I love I love peple, no neighborhood. Been
- 15:02Speaker 1: going to the doctor. Got some bad news. But I'm
- 15:05Speaker 1: not a person to call. When when you get some
- 15:07Speaker 1: bad news, you get me bad news. I get it
- 15:09Speaker 1: right off of me, right back over the youth. That's
- 15:12Speaker 1: what I do. I get bad, so don't Tommy Pete
- 15:15Speaker 1: calling man. He's like man, dog got a bad heart.
- 15:20Speaker 1: He said, Doctor say, I'm gonna have to have a
- 15:22Speaker 1: heart transplant right there. And I said, hey, Pete, breathe slow. Hey, hey,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you got the information for the bad heart. We can't
- 15:33Speaker 1: upset you no kind of way. Your heart not good
- 15:36Speaker 1: right now, so you need to take your time, make
- 15:38Speaker 1: the lands as long as you can't. Just breathe slow. Yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: look at got to be what I got taking a
- 15:50Speaker 1: step for huh, having big lips. I can not kill you.
- 15:57Speaker 1: We didn't make it that whether he and we didn't
- 16:01Speaker 1: make it that far. But I understand bad heart and
- 16:04Speaker 1: hard tramp because I think you won't mind right now.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I just want to let you know it's a matter
- 16:11Speaker 1: of fact, Pete, you don't find nothing else funny, because
- 16:14Speaker 1: if you get rapped up, you're taking time off that heart.
- 16:18Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, the next relationship you get
- 16:20Speaker 1: into doctor work because you can't afford no heartache, you
- 16:25Speaker 1: can't have none of that. Matter of fact. Feet when
- 16:28Speaker 1: you go to sleep, sleep light because of deep sleep
- 16:33Speaker 1: might be too much work on that. Mother just want
- 16:36Speaker 1: you understand telling. I understand where you're coming from. I
- 16:40Speaker 1: just ain't the one to help you. Got a bad
- 16:44Speaker 1: you got a bad heart, ain't my funt. No, I
- 16:47Speaker 1: can't help you. Got it off the line with no.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry to hear that not. Have you seen a
- 16:56Speaker 1: doctor if you knew what Pete he rate? Don't even
- 17:01Speaker 1: read your bill. You can't get wrapped up. No kind
- 17:06Speaker 1: of weight are you on any medication? None of that
- 17:09Speaker 1: came to mind. No, sure that is. You can't have this.
- 17:13Speaker 1: That's all I thought about. If you knew what Pete
- 17:15Speaker 1: did to get the man, that's why he was calling
- 17:17Speaker 1: you in the first place. He's looking far hard, tin man.
- 17:25Speaker 1: All people doing a lot of bad things. Now you
- 17:30Speaker 1: talk my dog man. They talk about I need new
- 17:32Speaker 1: hearty breeze slope, breeze slope. You ain't getting it over here.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You your life truth be told, all right, Steve? This
- 17:42Speaker 1: is uh. Don't you hate going over other people's houses
- 17:45Speaker 1: and they don't have the stuff that you're used to, like,
- 17:48Speaker 1: for instance, hot maybe air conditions, and that's very important,
- 17:52Speaker 1: very important. They got all the doors open and the
- 17:56Speaker 1: windows open and as hot as hell that side away.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I can just go home because I got nothing like that.
- 18:06Speaker 1: I just like a little egg, you know, and I
- 18:09Speaker 1: don't look something else. Don't give me a one room
- 18:13Speaker 1: air conditioning with you tell everybody is standing this room
- 18:15Speaker 1: right here, because the ain't no air condition you know
- 18:17Speaker 1: the one window. Hey, I can go home all through
- 18:22Speaker 1: the damn house. It's cool everywhere cool that I'm just saying,
- 18:27Speaker 1: trying to be funny. Why am I here about you
- 18:34Speaker 1: somewhere to sit? You know what I'm saying, somewhere to sit?
- 18:40Speaker 1: Everybody on the floe, it looks like you ain't moved
- 18:43Speaker 1: in yet. That that right there kind of puzzles me.
- 18:47Speaker 1: They got a flat scoreen on the wall? Why why
- 18:48Speaker 1: we did? Why we got this out of order? Right now?
- 18:51Speaker 1: It's not someone care about it. It's not a bean chill,
- 18:54Speaker 1: But you know I being chill, get my ask. Not
- 19:01Speaker 1: back in the day, I had to beat your body.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You actually become the bean shape. I can't do it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'll tell you nothing. You gotta have some plates. Okay,
- 19:19Speaker 1: you need some plate, but I plate because I can't
- 19:23Speaker 1: stay eat people house. Theyte you for dinner and they
- 19:26Speaker 1: put on your food on that phone plate, paper plate.

- 19:36Speaker 1: s I can't staying nobody's house ain't got too bad.
- 19:42Speaker 1: But I need I need nothing. I'm with you, dog.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You mean to tell me I want somebody going there?
- 19:50Speaker 1: We out, we we we out, and they're not coming
- 19:56Speaker 1: right out, O Pardner. We ain't got a little side,
- 20:00Speaker 1: a bad half back, bate spent of something. That's a
- 20:03Speaker 1: saink out of all we're looking. Give me something. What
- 20:07Speaker 1: I can't do is go to that door and turn
- 20:08Speaker 1: it and then that's just Sometimes you go to people house,
- 20:13Speaker 1: you got to put in some work. Sometimes work got
- 20:16Speaker 1: to be put in and you need that that through. Wait, wait, wait,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'll tell you something else. I cain't staying going over
- 20:28Speaker 1: nobody house. Ain't got no damn snack, got nothing, you

- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm with HPP. We actually uh pick your husband up
- 23:00Speaker 1: from his job today. I wanted to give you a
- 23:02Speaker 1: call him up for one. Okay, you're you're his wife, Morgan, right, okay?
- 23:07Speaker 1: I actually just wanted to make sure that he's okay
- 23:10Speaker 1: and we're worried about his work. Hey, what happened? Well,
- 23:12Speaker 1: nothing's happened as of right now. We've had a conversation
- 23:15Speaker 1: with him and we've checked him out. He's definitely okay.
- 23:18Speaker 1: But why why are you picking him up? Though? I
- 23:20Speaker 1: don't I don't understand what? All right, let's just just
- 23:22Speaker 1: calm down, hang on a second. I got a couple
- 23:24Speaker 1: of questions for you. Your husband, he is about what
- 23:27Speaker 1: five nine? Correct? Right? And you would agree that Sean
- 23:30Speaker 1: ways about a hundred and seventy five pounds? Is that
- 23:33Speaker 1: sound about right? Okay? Here's another question, No exactly, Morgan?
- 23:39Speaker 1: How tall are you? I'm five nine as well? Okay?
- 23:42Speaker 1: And if you don't mind, I know a little different
- 23:45Speaker 1: type of question. But if you don't mind, how much
- 23:47Speaker 1: do you weigh? I'm like two, wait, wait a minute,
- 23:50Speaker 1: what is it? What is it? What is how much
- 23:51Speaker 1: I have to do with it? I don't what is
- 23:54Speaker 1: wrong with him? And where is why? Where is he?
- 23:56Speaker 1: Right now? We actually have him, we have him in
- 23:58Speaker 1: our custody. Him are we have him in our custody?
- 24:02Speaker 1: Right now here and I head quarters at HPP. So
- 24:05Speaker 1: what heck? What is what is the HP? Ma'am? H
- 24:08Speaker 1: PP is Husband Protection Program? Has been protection? I've never
- 24:14Speaker 1: I've never heard of such a thing. Why why is
- 24:16Speaker 1: he there? Well? The problem we have and we've been
- 24:19Speaker 1: getting some actual complaints or whatnot, and not necessarily from him,
- 24:23Speaker 1: but that you've been bullying your husband. Okay, you know what.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I'm at my job and I'm gonna need to hold
- 24:28Speaker 1: all one second so I can go here. What what?
- 24:36Speaker 1: What did you say? Have you and uh Sean had
- 24:39Speaker 1: any arguments at all lately? How we had We're married?
- 24:42Speaker 1: Have we had arguments? Of course, he had arguments. What
- 24:45Speaker 1: what does that have to do with anything? Have you
- 24:47Speaker 1: guys had any altercation? Any altercations? Yes? What kind of altercations?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Have you been bullying your husband in a physical way?
- 24:55Speaker 1: I've been bullying him, bullying him? You have you been
- 25:00Speaker 1: happening to bullying him? For somebody to turn in and
- 25:03Speaker 1: give us? Who? Who? Who? Who? Want? You need to
- 25:07Speaker 1: let me talk to him. I can't put him on this.
- 25:10Speaker 1: This is what I'm talking about, and this is what
- 25:11Speaker 1: we're talking about. You called me at my dad? Come
- 25:14Speaker 1: off like an hpp CS and sobody turned somebody in
- 25:17Speaker 1: for some arguments. We're married. Who are you freaking who's
- 25:20Speaker 1: married and does not argue? I understand your mad, but
- 25:23Speaker 1: it is my job to protect husbands that are getting
- 25:26Speaker 1: bullied by the wise. This is what's talking about your
- 25:32Speaker 1: Let me speak to him. I'm not at liberty and
- 25:34Speaker 1: let you speak to him right now. To you, what
- 25:35Speaker 1: you're not gonna do is bullying me as well. And
- 25:37Speaker 1: if I'm trying to bully you, I want to know
- 25:39Speaker 1: what coming on? And why do you calling me and
- 25:41Speaker 1: my dad with some craps about him being at some
- 25:42Speaker 1: headquarters for aspp IDP isn't a hunt of apps and
- 25:46Speaker 1: my husband's I need protecting from anybody's talking. It is
- 25:49Speaker 1: husband protection program. You've been bullying your husband. You've been
- 25:53Speaker 1: using bad language with you. I don't want to talk
- 25:59Speaker 1: my usbend when he said, I do he do whatever
- 26:03Speaker 1: she said to me whenever he s in the high
- 26:04Speaker 1: said and next he gets and if he has the
- 26:06Speaker 1: problems with arguing me, city to stop his craft and
- 26:09Speaker 1: he won't be in an argument. And you tell him
- 26:11Speaker 1: that you see, this is what we're talking about. This
- 26:13Speaker 1: is why he's been picked up today and brought into
- 26:15Speaker 1: our custody so that he would be definitely protected from you.
- 26:18Speaker 1: You know that if he needs a profession and he's
- 26:20Speaker 1: in your custody, asked, you can keep him here? How that? Well,
- 26:23Speaker 1: here's what we're gonna do. Somebody's gonna be picking you up,
- 26:25Speaker 1: bringing you in so we can have a conversation, and
- 26:28Speaker 1: bringing me there. What what do you think this is?
- 26:31Speaker 1: We're bringing you in so we can have a proversation
- 26:33Speaker 1: with you. Let me explain something to you, ma'am. We
- 26:36Speaker 1: will be bringing you in having a conversation. Would you
- 26:38Speaker 1: bring me with you? You're gonna be coming in and
- 26:42Speaker 1: you're gonna do it where anywhere? Were anybody want? Are
- 26:46Speaker 1: you physically or mentally abusing your husband? You know what?
- 26:48Speaker 1: You don't have to kick me up? Tell me where
- 26:50Speaker 1: you are. I will come to you want to pick
- 26:51Speaker 1: me up? I will. I will come down there. I
- 26:53Speaker 1: will hear you you and him at the same time.
- 26:55Speaker 1: You tell me where you are here. I'm gonna ask
- 26:58Speaker 1: you a serious question. Is it sounds like a consequence
- 27:01Speaker 1: of he doesn't listen to you? A consequence? I mean,
- 27:03Speaker 1: I mean, what are you doing? Are you treating your
- 27:05Speaker 1: husband like a child. What are you doing to him?
- 27:07Speaker 1: If he acting like the kid's gonna be treating like
- 27:09Speaker 1: the child? If you if he has a problem with
- 27:11Speaker 1: how I treat him, you talk to him, he asks.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Let me ask you something, miss Morgan. What do you
- 27:15Speaker 1: do for a lever in head of security at this building?
- 27:17Speaker 1: And about to cross security on me because I'm loud
- 27:20Speaker 1: in this room because you're a head of security, so
- 27:22Speaker 1: you don't know all about putting people in choke calls
- 27:25Speaker 1: and and how to apprehend the person. Don't tas my job?
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yes I did? So are you doing that at home?
- 27:30Speaker 1: What I'm not going to tell you again. I don't
- 27:33Speaker 1: harm that man in any way nowhere have I ever
- 27:36Speaker 1: what I ever? Nor has he needs? He needs to
- 27:39Speaker 1: get him behind in his car and go back to work.
- 27:41Speaker 1: We have builds to take and go ask time for
- 27:43Speaker 1: this crap. I got one more thing I need to
- 27:45Speaker 1: say to you. A you're listening. You have nothing to
- 27:47Speaker 1: say to me but that you want to put my
- 27:48Speaker 1: husband on this and let me talk to him about this.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Shut sit down, sit down s get him leaving him
- 27:54Speaker 1: the phone. Let me tross. I need to understand what
- 27:56Speaker 1: that shod I got it. Let me finish the talk

- 29:10Speaker 1: just I just need to know if I was stupid.
- 29:15Speaker 1: That's all I want to know. Ye got a lock
- 29:20Speaker 1: on that. It's embarrassing when people ask me how you
- 29:24Speaker 1: doing well? Guys, Um, it's not too late if you
- 29:35Speaker 1: want to hop on a flight and get to the
- 29:36Speaker 1: country of Serbia to enjoy the sight, smells, and tastes

- 30:07Speaker 1: the guys. That was good and we missed it. It
- 30:12Speaker 1: was last Friday, last Friday. To have a big bow.

- 30:44Speaker 1: we'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show.
- 30:49Speaker 1: All right, miss Anason Jack with today's headlines. Former President
- 30:52Speaker 1: Barack Obama gave some advice for Donald Trump before he
- 30:56Speaker 1: took office in January. This is according to CNN Now,
- 30:59Speaker 1: which obtained a cop We have the handwritten letter penned
- 31:01Speaker 1: on White House stationary. President congratulated Trump on his remarkable
- 31:06Speaker 1: run and reminded Trump that millions have placed their hopes
- 31:09Speaker 1: in him. It's up to us to do everything we
- 31:12Speaker 1: can to build more ladders of success for every child
- 31:15Speaker 1: and family that's willing to work hard. American leadership in
- 31:18Speaker 1: this world is really indispensable. We are just temporary occupants
- 31:22Speaker 1: of this office. That makes us guardians of those democratic
- 31:26Speaker 1: institutions and traditions and President Obama went on to say
- 31:30Speaker 1: take time in the rush of events and responsibilities for
- 31:33Speaker 1: friends and family, and he signed off with an offer
- 31:36Speaker 1: to help in any way he could and wished Trump. Look,
- 31:40Speaker 1: I don't think you read it. You think so he read? Yeah? Yeah, true,
- 31:51Speaker 1: he took off, he put his hand on. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:57Speaker 1: really did all that. Oh oh, he read it. He
- 32:04Speaker 1: didn't want to read it, but he read it. That's
- 32:06Speaker 1: the tradition. Every president leaves one for the incoming president.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Every outgoing president leaves one, but he does means though, Yeah,
- 32:14Speaker 1: oh yeah. The first was was Obama doing him that.
- 32:21Speaker 1: He didn't like that, so he had somebody making a
- 32:23Speaker 1: reverse it. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't know a president
- 32:28Speaker 1: that had time for that. Yeah. I ain't even got
- 32:31Speaker 1: time to make means and I ain't even the damn president.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I've just gotta go to work every dog day. I'm
- 32:38Speaker 1: with you. I'll be glad when he's right for the
- 32:40Speaker 1: next president. That's yeah, that's the want to read you
- 32:46Speaker 1: are and listen, Hey, guys, it's gonna be terrific. This
- 32:52Speaker 1: is gonna be so good, really fantastic. You know you
- 32:57Speaker 1: won't get the numbers I got ye. You won't be
- 33:00Speaker 1: able to draw crowds like me cricket Hillary about her. Yeah, man,
- 33:11Speaker 1: do you remember the the the speech he gave in
- 33:16Speaker 1: Phoenix a couple of weeks ago, and the one black
- 33:20Speaker 1: dude that was back there in the car goodness, that
- 33:24Speaker 1: wasn't really representative of the African American community with his
- 33:29Speaker 1: homemade sign with the opponent tail. But they kept sliding
- 33:33Speaker 1: him other signs, the whole other, and he was looking confused. Man.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I was just looking at this dude, man, because you know,
- 33:41Speaker 1: it's of course, I mean, I mean, don't look man,
- 33:44Speaker 1: it's so stale because they stage who goes behind him,
- 33:47Speaker 1: They try to make him look as diversified. And then
- 33:50Speaker 1: there was only one black. He had a T shirt
- 33:52Speaker 1: and the said black for Trump. J could have took
- 33:55Speaker 1: the asshole and just been black because that's all he
- 33:59Speaker 1: was and not really all the way, yeah, because he
- 34:03Speaker 1: was really really some Indian the bottom because his hair. Yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 1: the Indians don't put them on us, you know in
- 34:19Speaker 1: uh in l A man, just we're out here in
- 34:23Speaker 1: l A date she got rid of Columbus day. I
- 34:27Speaker 1: read that, and they're doing Indigenous to honor the Indians,
- 34:35Speaker 1: because that's who really had him. I thought that was great. Yeah,
- 34:39Speaker 1: I was already here. Yeah, I thought that was great.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So I'll be doing that too. Yeah, I'm gonna definitely
- 34:45Speaker 1: do Indigenous Day. I'm with it. It's not Columbus Day.
- 34:48Speaker 1: I didn't know, really, it was just a day off.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I'll put that in a paper. When I was young
- 34:53Speaker 1: and boys, she had a conversation, what do you mean
- 34:57Speaker 1: Columbus didn't discover that? I said, well, I don't understand
- 34:59Speaker 1: from you would already hear me. Und Yeah, that's the
- 35:10Speaker 1: whole damn country, all right, Steve, She interested, ladies and gentlemen.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Miss a trip to everybody. This is a trip with
- 35:18Speaker 1: the news. Well, you know, it looks like U S.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Attorney General Jeff Sessions and not President Trump is going
- 35:24Speaker 1: to announce whether the Trump administration is going to end
- 35:26Speaker 1: another Obama administration executive water, this one DOCCA. DOCCA stands
- 35:30Speaker 1: for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It was established to
- 35:33Speaker 1: protect immigrants who were brought here by their parents as
- 35:36Speaker 1: little kids from being deported since their parents took or
- 35:39Speaker 1: took it upon themselves to break the law, but not
- 35:41Speaker 1: the children. The White House Folkeswoman Sarah Huckaby Sanders says
- 35:44Speaker 1: the decision though was not made lightly the president's priorities
- 35:48Speaker 1: on immigration or to create a system that encourages legal
- 35:51Speaker 1: immigration and benefits our economy and American workers. DOCTA currently
- 35:55Speaker 1: protects some eight hundred thousand young people nationally. They're going
- 35:58Speaker 1: to be some demonstrations in Washington, d C. The announcement
- 36:02Speaker 1: is set for eleven a M officials in South Korea
- 36:05Speaker 1: warning that the North may be preparing for another missile launches,
- 36:08Speaker 1: two days after the Pyongyang government conducted its most powerful
- 36:11Speaker 1: nuclear missile test to date. The UN and went into
- 36:13Speaker 1: special session yesterday ordering new sanctions, but Ambassador Nicki Haley
- 36:17Speaker 1: is issuing her strongest warning yet. Kim Jong UN's action
- 36:21Speaker 1: cannot be seen as defensive. He wants to be acknowledged
- 36:25Speaker 1: as a nuclear power. Nuclear powers understand their responsibilities. Kim
- 36:30Speaker 1: Jong un shows no such understanding. His abusive use of
- 36:35Speaker 1: missiles and his nuclear threats show that he is begging
- 36:40Speaker 1: for war or is never something the United States wants.
- 36:44Speaker 1: We don't want it now, but our country's patients is
- 36:47Speaker 1: not unlimited, so this is something we really have to watch.
- 36:50Speaker 1: In Houston, Texas this week thousands of people returned to
- 36:53Speaker 1: their homes totally unprepared, a lot of them for what
- 36:55Speaker 1: they'll find. Houston, Mayo, sylvest to turn to tell CBSS
- 36:58Speaker 1: face the nation is people win need a lot of help.
- 37:01Speaker 1: We need UH rapid repair housing because many many people
- 37:05Speaker 1: have elected to stay in their homes. They're now dry,
- 37:08Speaker 1: but they need to be repaired. In some cases they
- 37:10Speaker 1: may need to be rebuilt. The death toll from Harvey
- 37:13Speaker 1: now sixty. Now they have UH states of Emergency in
- 37:16Speaker 1: Florida and Puerto Rico because of Hurricane Irma, which is
- 37:19Speaker 1: a category for already. That's right. It sounds like there's
- 37:22Speaker 1: a possibility, but maybe a probability at the face of
- 37:24Speaker 1: Harriet Tubman will not be featured on the twenty dollar bill. Finally,
- 37:28Speaker 1: take another look day. That's what it is today. Also
- 37:31Speaker 1: it's National be late for something Day but trying not
- 37:33Speaker 1: to be late for working. It's also National Pizza Day.

- 38:45Speaker 1: any progress. I don't, I don't know. It ain't been
- 38:47Speaker 1: no progress. We steal where and I think you're going
- 38:51Speaker 1: to invite the therapist on. We should at least listen

- 39:49Speaker 1: With the counsel, I think that Dr Kelselbur is right
- 39:52Speaker 1: on point you here, Dr Kelselbur, we must continue to
- 39:54Speaker 1: be patient. You know, how are you guys doing with
- 39:56Speaker 1: your individual growth? My individual growth is out of sight.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Did you try that meditation we spoke about last time?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I did the whole it.

- 40:14Speaker 1: something exercise that he and I can do together? Is
- 40:17Speaker 1: what I'm asking Dr can Silberry. How do you want

- 40:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, start with a sheet of paper and
- 40:29Speaker 1: Mr Harges, you hold one in and you hold the

- 40:35Speaker 1: hold on tight, lean your weight away, trusting between the

- 56:03Speaker 1: this is the beginning of something new. Of course, a
- 56:05Speaker 1: little a little you know, nervous about it, you know,
- 56:09Speaker 1: because you wanted to be successful, you know, But you
- 56:13Speaker 1: gotta take chances. Man, this is a huge chance to
- 56:17Speaker 1: move the show to l A and uh you know,

- 56:25Speaker 1: it's really really a late night show. In the middle
- 56:27Speaker 1: of the jaga, I come out, I do a monologue.
- 56:30Speaker 1: I sit behind the desk. I'm involved with the audience.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You know. It's I have celebrity guests and I still
- 56:38Speaker 1: have games. You know, I got I let people win money.
- 56:42Speaker 1: You know, I do a lot of stuff. Man, got graphics,
- 56:44Speaker 1: all kinds of stuff. Had the biggest screen on TV.

- 56:51Speaker 1: Yeah man, they are yeah, man, they are to a
- 56:54Speaker 1: top writers. Man. They helped me out a great deal

- 57:16Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, I don't know why he's saying.
- 57:19Speaker 1: I think it's big. I hope this show has our

- 57:48Speaker 1: get it? Not bothering me, yees, don't have signed for it,
- 57:53Speaker 1: just get it. But it's good. Yeah, but it is
- 57:57Speaker 1: absolutely love it. It's a lot of fun. I mean,
- 58:00Speaker 1: especially to do show. It is so much fun discovering
- 58:03Speaker 1: how TV work and how the work that goes in
- 58:06Speaker 1: to make an episode. I mean that is fun and
- 58:09Speaker 1: just being able to be creative, you know, just to you,
- 58:14Speaker 1: you know, and then they write the monologue like I do.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I don't need a bunch of subjects because I don't
- 58:20Speaker 1: do jokes. I like to take a subject and milk
- 58:23Speaker 1: it for everything that's in there, and then that's gonna
- 58:27Speaker 1: do something because I don't. I don't write budoon pot.
- 58:31Speaker 1: Yeah you know, no, I try to. I try to
- 58:35Speaker 1: make you throw up in the middle of the day.

- 58:44Speaker 1: you know, man, have a lot of guests come by
- 58:45Speaker 1: and do some crazy stuff. Man, it's gonna be what
- 58:48Speaker 1: I've always dreamed of doing, was a talk show like this.

- 58:56Speaker 1: You got some problems, you can bring it on that.
- 58:58Speaker 1: I ain't gonna help you. Turn into your nephew right before.

- 1:00:27Speaker 1: can only see each other about twice a week due
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: to our schedules, but I love him and he is
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: an animal. The second guy has a great job, we
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: share the same values, are the same age. He has
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: no kids, no crazy ex wife, and wants the same
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: things I do. But in the bedroom he is terrible.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: He doesn't know how to work anything. I love him
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: as my best friend. So is sex the foundation of
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: a relationship? The sex die? Please help to me. This
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: is a no brainer, but there's so many issues going
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: on in this letter. Yes, you're right, sex is very
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: important in a marriage, but it's not the most important
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: thing in a marriage. Crucial elements in a marriage love
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: and especially commitment, and you've got to be committed in
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: this relationship to the man you choose. It would seem
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to me, Um, since you know you're a successful twenty
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: nine year old, I would hope you'd have some brains
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: and be smart that you would want to date the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: second guy who has a great job, who you guys
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: share the same values, You're the same age, no children, uh,
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: no crazy ex wife. He wants the same things as
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: you do. Um. It seems like in the bedroom if
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he's terrible, that maybe you should take some time to
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: teach this man how you like it, how to you know,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: make love to you, all of that. Yes, Tommy, how
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to love you. It seems like that's what you would
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: do the other guy with no job and the crazy
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: ex wife and all of that. I mean to me,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: this is a no brainer. Like I don't know, just
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: keep I don't see while you have such a dilemma, um,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: in your life right now when you have to two
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: guys and the one one is obviously a better choice
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: for you than the other one. So I would go
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: with the second guy. That's what you need to do
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: in this letter. Yes, sexist is a foundation, but you
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: can teach him. We come back, I'll actually respond to
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: the Strawberry letter, and we'll have a copy of the
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Love all right coming up. Steve will have part two
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: of his response to today's Strawberry Letter. We'll be back
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour you're listening to Steve
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Harvey Morning show. This nine year old lady says she's
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: in love with two guys. She doesn't seem to be
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: in love with anybody to me. In this letter, you've
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: been saying you've been seeing two guys for two years,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: the whole time sleeping with both of them. You in
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: love with two guys. Okay, Now she's tossed between which
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: one to pick. She with this one dude who's unemployed,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: a jack of all trades, thirty nine years old, two kids,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: crazy ex wife who has finally just here. He doesn't
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: have a working car, but the sex is great between us. Well,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: that's because he got time. Yeah, he ain't working, he
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: ain't got to be nowhere, and his car don't run.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: He can't go nowhere. So here. Yeah he's good at
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: sex here at the house, in the bedroom all damn day. Okay,
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: there you go. Now he knows where and how to
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: work both hands. We could only see each other twice
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: a week due to our schedule. Excuse me, due to
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: whose schedule? Our schedule did not? You just say this
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: man was not working? Card on run here Jacobard rage?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: What scheduling conflict? Do he have. Well, let me tell
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you what. He's so busy cruing. Okay, that that's why
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you can't see him. But twice a week that's the
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: only scheduling. Confiict that the only way you're good is
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: something you didn't have practice at it. You just sain't
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: good at sex. You got to work at it. He
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: didn't put him. That's his job. That's his job, his
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: job that you crazy ass. Now the other guy, um um,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the other guy. It's a great job. We share the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: same values, we're the same age. He has no kids,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: no crazy at an He wants same things I do.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: But in the bad room, he's terrible. He doesn't know
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: how to work anything well, tricking what you want. You're
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: doing mokey flips with the with the and then you
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: say the other dude he is, but he's a animal.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: He's an animal, you know, ladies, y'all kill me with that.
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: Make up your damn mind. You're either long real man
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: or you won't an animal. Not normally we just dogs
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and that's the damn problem. But now you won't the dog. Well,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: let me explain some tea. After you start seeing animal
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: every day instead of twice a week, you're gonna You're
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: gonna find out why he's available. You're gonna find out
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: why he ain't working. You've been to find out why
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: he's car don't work. You've been to find out why
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: they really call him. You know. Look, you you're sitting
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: up in here, you're conflicted about the wrong thing, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: then you're talking about you ready to settle down and
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: get one And lady, you're gonna play like you practice. Wow,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: You're gonna play the game like you practice the game.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You have not practiced being in a committed relationship. You
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: ain't practice being in love with one person. So what's
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: gonna happen is if you get either one of these guys,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: you're gonna mess around on the other one anyway, because
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you're gonna play like you practice. You know what you
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: need to do. You need to go somewhere, just do
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you for a little while. See how good it is
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to find out if you can really treat one man
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: right trying out if you can be loyal to one man,
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: because right now you're not the type of woman that
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: a real man is looking for. So it really ain't
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: these two dudes right here is you? You picked them? Hell,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: you could have been to pick one and you wouldn't
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: even have a problem, but you can't because you tried.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: We have to go. You can email us or instagram
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: us your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter at My Girl

- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You shouldn't be over that running your mind about me

- 1:16:30Speaker 1: You're stupid, Ditto the only way to l word coming
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: out of my mouth and we both live. Coming up
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, Carla and Steve's recap
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: of the season finale of Power did just that. And then, Steve,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: you were on Oprah's Masterclass. Everyone was talking about that.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: you were on the Oprah's Masterclass. I mean all, I all,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I got this weekend where people telling me how good
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: it was, how informative, you know, how happy they were
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: for you and all that, and um, honestly I thought
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: it was a rerun because I remember you taped one
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: a while. Yeah, but it wasn't a master class. I
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: did something else Oprah did for a whole hour, but
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: this was very different. Yeah. Well, this past Saturday night
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: you were on there. You talked about how you nearly
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: quit chasing your dreams while being homeless, and you reached
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: a breaking point in a hotel bathroom. Stall. Here it is,
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: take a listen. My my mother never knew I was homeless.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: She never knew. I said, Oh, Mama, got friends out here.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I went to college with. I'm staying at my partner's house. Man,
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I couldn't tell I was I was homeless. That would
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: have broke her heart. And my mother had allowed me
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: to put an answer machine in the attic of the house,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: just a phone line and an answer machine. I was
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: out there living in the car. I was struggling, but
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I could call back to that answer machine and see
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: if I got any work. You know, back in the day,
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: you plunt your cold and you have a message. And
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: so I was washing up in a hotel. And I
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: used to go to really nice hotels because they had
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: like wash claws, and I'd get a bunch of them
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: and run them under hot water, and I go in
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: the stall and I wet my body and then someone
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: would have soap on them, and I'd soaked myself up.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Then I would go out and I would get another
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: handful and wet them down. And I come and I
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: take the soap off with them. Well, I got soaped up,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: but a convention was in town and they had let
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: out for breakfast, and so for forty five minutes it
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: was just a parade of men coming in that bathroom.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: And I take it off my clothes to get leathered up,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, this soap is drying on me,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: and I just let the lead down and I set
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: some towels down. I just started crying. And the guy
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: heard me in there. He said, hey, sir, you're okay.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: I said, oh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. But I was
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: done at that point. I said, that's it, man, I
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: can't do this anymore. I mean, I'm I'm just happy
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: that you were clean, that you know I was gonna
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: be clean. You're not gonna wash up, because come on,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I can't look the part like if you looked at me,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: you never knew I was homeless. You said your own
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: mom didn't now. No, I never told her that. What
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: broke my mother's heart. I couldn't tell my mama ain't
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: got a way to go. Boy, where are you staying
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: that out there? Mama got friends from college, and I'm
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: moving around. I got all these gigs. When were you?
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: What were you? What was this at that particular time?
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: This was Florida. It isn't Florida, man. I was in Pescacola, Florida,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: at the home about thirty thirty five, thirty six, somewhere
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: in there. It was. It was a big blur for me, man,
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: because I didn't really I got on TV at thirty eight.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I really did think about giving up. I was in there, man, drying,
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: soap dried on my body, and I was spending to quit. Man.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: I was in that crying for real, I'm talking about
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: and dude said, hey, hey, hey, hey, you're you're okay now?
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm fine, and so, you know, it was
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: just one of the moments, man, everybody has him. I
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: was talking to Dion Sanders about it. Everybody has a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: turn back moment in their life. Everybody has a moment
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: where you can turn back when yeah, man, you just
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: have to find a way just to not give up.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: You have to find a way, because if you give up,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: then you never see the end. Had I quit, then
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: there's no way I'm here now. That that was a
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: really defining moment in my life because I had given up.
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I was done. You know, my clothes on and everything,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: soap on me. Man, I'm sitting that neck it because
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I was just gonna run out, get some hot tiles,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: bring them back in and take all the soap off.
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: That's how I bathe. I couldn't get out there, man,
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: they just kept coming in and soap just dried on me.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: I said, wow, man, that's where we are right now.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: That was his take away. The last thing I'm concerned.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: The blood ain't where you need to get that soapam
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: just you know, you get it, get a lot of
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: other places you need to get it out of. You
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: need to get it out of that man. Now, man,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: remind you that you hired him. I'm just I'll tell
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: you what's worse than that. When I was young, and
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: you know, I used to put soap powder in the
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: bathtub and switch it around and make bubble back. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: well I U I use oxy dog and I didn't
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: switch it real good. And I was about nine. And
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: then blue bleat and crystals. I left him in the
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: crack of them out behind. And the next day at school,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: I was walking in the blue bleaching crystals had melted down,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: and I'm walking into Claud walking in the hall. I
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: couldn't understand. Spain my ass. It's hot, but I'm wrong,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: and I keep touching back. He didn't irritate. Then I
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: just and then I go on in class and I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: had to do a presentation and I went up to
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: the front. Man. I was about in the about in
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: the eighth grade, and I'm doing this presentation. Man, and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: these blue bleaching crystals is all up under me in
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: crack and crevis just burning. I'm just standing up there
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: doing my presentation. Just did I'm talking about man like,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: ain't nobody in the room but me? What just doing?
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I ain't even that I was. I had stopped the
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: presentation because man, I got I got to get this,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and I still didn't. I didn't know what was wrong
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: because I didn't. I didn't. I didn't quit last night's
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: bubba bab. But when I got home, man, I mean,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: I ran to the house and went in the bathroom
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: and was got me a wine cloth and just saw
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: the blue bleachers. I went, God, this is bleach. And
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: I was raw, man, I I was. I was chapping.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Some day I was raw. I had to put an
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: all good corn start in my drum, you know, to hell,
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: because I know where my mom used to do that
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: to baby. So I put all the corn starts on
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: me one time the other day, something man, you ever
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: did I did that when I was grown. One time.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I got real sweaty one time with a jocket strap
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: when I was in college, and I got because we
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: do have to go to brown. But I'm gonna tell
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: you the story when I come back. But when I
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: had the jocket strap on, Yeah, I'm gonna tell you
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: this story. You're listening, Steve, go ahead, Okay, So we're back.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: So anywoy, I was telling you I had a jacket
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: strap on in college one time, and you know, you
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: get to play and I have had it on all
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: day and then I had to go do something. So
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: then at night we was playing ball outside again, I
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: still had that jocket strap on and so not not
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: now he's cutting. So so when I took my shower
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: that night, so I remembered, I'll go corn starch. My
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: mom always said when babies get dipper, that's what they
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: did old day, put corn starch. So I put corn
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: starch all on me. You know, I went to bed.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: Now the next day, I'm over this girl house and
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: thendn't got sexy, and I pulled my past down in
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: her room and pulled my drawls down and all that
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: white corner start was still on me. And I had
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: forgot about it story ever and it was in balls
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: and rolls. Yeah, she looked at me and she said,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: what is that? I looked down that he needless to say.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: We never how much. Wasn't like a cloud come up? No,
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: it wasn't cloudy. It had got It didn't accumulated in
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: clumps like about have started stumping. It would have been
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: white mothballs over It looked matter you look like a
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: bag of popcorn was in draw smart pop. I had
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: pulled a bag of smart pop down in my draws.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: That girl didn't talk to me ever, No, mom, I've
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: been working on this chick for months. Friends. Yeah, I
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: don't know what's wrong here, but he got something. I
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: looked down. She said, what is that? I looked down.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: I went, oh, hey, I'm trying to pick and thump
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: right quick. But I couldn't get it all. Just too
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: much and it was too much, too late. True story
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Argo corn start in college. Okay, so the question now becomes,
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: how do you follow that? Well? Whatever you want? All right?
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: How about this? Uh? The number of women now that
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: are getting boob jobs keeps increasing, keeps going up. I
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: got that. Hey, you ain't got a stand all that
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: money the boob job. You can put some argo corn
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: star when you get away. There's gonna be a little
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: lumpy anyway. The number of women getting boob jobs keeps
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: increasing but the sides they want their breasts to be. Okay,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: let me ask you a personal question. If you were
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: not the person you were, would you get a boot
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: job if I didn't have boods? Yeah? Yeah, probably you
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: would do it? Call it? Would you do it? Okay, Tommy,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: let me ask you this question. If you was a
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: girl and you was flat chested, would you get it? Oh? Yeah?
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Would you? Would you get? Dog? I get breast? And
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: but that's why I, oh, I have dryway from the car.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: I've seen how none fine women get you. I'm telling
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: I'm doing right now, you dog, I have so much
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: on me, I'll be on the cardash, I have to
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: just put me on there. Yeah, so you don't mind
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: if women have enhancements and things like that. If they do,
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: as long as it looks pretty natural, I wouldn't care
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: what you want, because a lot of men do complain
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: that they like natural women. I'm asking that's cool, that's cool. Okay,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: hold up, So you meet the woman of your dream.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: She fine, she got breast in plans you problem with? Yeah,
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: but a lot I hate to say, but a lot
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: of black men they don't like weed, they don't like
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: they don't have a lot of black You ain't got
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: all that. You put all that in a bag. I'm happy,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go back. You're listening to the
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Show. It looks like we're not gonna see
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Harriet Tubman on the twenty dollar bill after all, at
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: least not any time in the near future. Uh. Stephen
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: Manuchean Trump's Treasury secretary, he reportedly said he cannot commit
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: to carrying out the Obama administration's plan to put any
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: Obama Yeah. Yeah, Harriet's have been on the bill. At
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: this point, he's busy concentrating on tweaking the US currency
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: bills to stop counterfeitters. When asked if he supports the
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Harriet Tubman picture on the bill, Manuchein told CNBC, Ultimately,
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: we will be looking at this issue, but it's not
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: something that I'm focused on at the moment. This is
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: good and bad. I would like to see her on
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: the twin definitely. I would like to remember. I just
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: want to say that, do you know how hard a
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: black man would have trye in cash, hair, tumb in
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: any stone? What will you get this from? I ain't
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: never seen this. I've never seen no black They don't
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: you know how many people gonna be that cash here
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: before sister is out here later I'm gonna fight for
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: it to get past. Yeah, I would like to see it,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: but I'm just telling you, Steve, a black man have
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: a tough time with a hundred. You know, with a twin,
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: they're gonna have it all up to the light. Is
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: that the one we most have to build? Everybody most
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: has a twenty. The most counterfeit building is a hundred. No, no,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: but I mean in our pockets or you know, on
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: we mostly have twenties. Steve Harvey, Yeah, yeah, well that's
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: the exception. Of course, if they put them out, I'm
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: gonna get rid of it. Was so excited about having
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: a I'm gonna get as many as I can and
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: go right around south with man from the gas stations,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: and there won't be somewhere. I ain't never even get
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: a quick trail. I'm gonna go back to the little
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: hill business though. That wouldn't sell me them. Damn a
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: lot of the tickets, Yeah, time, I wanted to get
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: them lottery tickets. I wanted to buy two hundred dollar
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: worth powerball tickets to pull two of us over here.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: When we can't say you that minute. I said, what
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: because I we don't do that. I said, I want
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: two hundred door a lot of tickets. She looked up
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: at me and went, Jesus Steve hark I wouldn't even
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: wait a minute, boy, black girl trying to get us out,
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: dog Steve, wait a minute, I mean, I mean Mr Harky, Hold,
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: I got to call my mother somebody and they're gonna
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: hat you down here. That woman got on that phone man,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: that gas station, that head pizza hood dred queen jail.
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: I'm talking about side of five minute. Because I bought
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: end up buying all the keys ice cream, right. I
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: bought all the kids the Sunday don't get a steep
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: paying for because you know you ain't paying no Sunday
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: All right, Uh sorry, Well, hopefully it'll be on the
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: bill at one point and time area tup in space.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: We'll be back to close out of the show with
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: just one more thing. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. Okay, Steve,
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: we talked about this earlier. You were on Oprah's master
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: Classes past Saturday Night. Um, you talked about a lot
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: of things. You talked about that moment you had in
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: the bathroom when you could have given up or kept going,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: and you talked about how you nearly quit chasing your
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: dreams while being homeless. You also talked about how you
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: plan to use your last thirty five dollars to get
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: out of Florida where you were and go back home
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: to be with your family. But in that moment, a
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: phone message changed everything. Here it is play a cat.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: I call my mom's answering machine first, and and it
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: was a message from Chuck Sutton, who's past now, the
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: great Chuck Sutton. He said, hey, Stevens, Chuck Sutton from
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: showtime at Depaula. We saw a tape of you and
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: was wondering. Man, it was a great tape. You're really funny.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: We have an opening for you this Sunday night is Thursday.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: It's Thursday. If you could just get here, we'll put
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: you on the show on television. Man, you're very funny.
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: Let us know if you can make it. And it
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: goes off and I went wow. As soon as I
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: went wow, my heart sunk, because now how do I
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: get to New York? I got thirty five us, man,
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: I don't have enough to make it to New York.
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: There's no way. The one time I could finally get
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: on TV and I can't even get to the gig.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: I'm in Pensacola, Florida. I gotta get to Harlem, New York.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: I don't have no money, I can't eat, I don't
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: have a place to stay. This is horrible, man, so
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: I said in my car, tears just running down my face. Man,
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: I said, I just has gotta be the worst joke
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: I've ever heard. I said, no, let me call back
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: and makes you see if he said Sunday. So I
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: called right back. It was this Sunday, and I got
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: ready to hang up, and then I heard you have
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: another message. Hey, Stevens a tom Sober from the comedy Caravan.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: I got a gig that's available in Florida tomorrow night,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: which is Friday night. I got a hundred and fifty
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: bucks for you if you can get there Friday night.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: It's Thursday. I'm a hundred some miles away. Yeah. Man,
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: So I get in the car, drive, I do the gig.
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: The guy pays me a hundred and fifty bucks. He said, Man,
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: you were so good, I'll cancel the guy Saturday night.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: Would you stay Saturday night. He gave me three hundred
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: bucks to stay for Saturday. I had four hundred seventy bucks.
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: I called Chuck Sutton, I said, I'll be there. Got
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: at the Apollo Theater at two o'clock and I went
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: out there and I got a standing ovation. Yeah, I
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: gotta get out of here. And man, I was on
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: cloud nine. I mean, it was the greatest moment of
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: my life up until that point. I had killed at
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: the world famous Apollo Theater and I was it. I
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: was on TV. I remember that too. Oh, man, I
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: gotta see this master class. They got music, you know
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: how to do it to you. I could have, man,
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: I could have done that. That's cold. Man. I remember
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: that moment because I was done. But you're not. The
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: thing about God, man, you know, you know you hear
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: old people say it all the time. He may not
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: come when you want him, but he right on time.
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: He's never ever been late in my life. He don't
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: really put more on you here and put nothing on
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: you that will break you. You can quit, but it
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: won't break you. And that's the problem with most people.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: Most of us quit. So I was about to quit.
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: I didn't quit. He came through he saw me breaking,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: and then he said, okay, man, let me throw him
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: a lifeline. Go out of here and make a phone call.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: Then nothing, and then man crying, call back, and then
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: he comes to life flying And next thing you know,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: I was on showtime at the Apolo. Man. I went
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: up there and met check something who's passed. Now. He
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: gave me my first opportunity on television. I've been on
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: TV every since. Man, I've been on TV every since.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Did you, babe, did you bathe before you drove? Are
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: you looking at me? I had already, babe, super well. See,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: but when I drove to the gig, the gig came
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: with a hotel room. So I was straight. And but
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: but then time, even if I wasn't straight, come on,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: I got a lot of bathrooms. Now you know what
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: I'm saying. I got bath room in every room of
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: the house. I don't I got in every hallway. Somebody
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: asked me one time, man, why your house got so
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: many bad rooms? Because I needed one one time. I
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: need time. I just thought you was real regular, something
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: I would be. But if I want to be regularly,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: then boom, dad, is I got a bathroom in there?
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: You know? See what what What we're gonna end up
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: doing is talking about size of houses, and then we're
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: gonna end this conversation. I'm glad you brought you asked
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: the bathroom. Now we go on TV. Yeah, masterclass, I'm
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: so glad. And that's an amazing thing. Though, Man, I
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: wish everybody could. Man, it's like what I was telling
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: you at the beginning of the show, what Joel Oldstein
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: was saying, it's it's it's it's it's ex fighting to
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: have faith in the beginning because God puts something on
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: your heart that he might do for you. Go Wow,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna start this, and then it's fun when you
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: think about the outcome. I'm gonna be famous, I'm gonna
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: be rich, I'm gonna be all listen. But that you
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: can have faith after it happened, and you can have
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: faith in the beginning. But in the middle though, going
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: through see what you need is faith in the middle.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: In the middle of it, when you're going through it,
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: that's where people lose the faith. And that's the most
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: critical part of becoming successful as faith in the middle.
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: So everybody hold on to your faith when it ain't
