- 2:49Speaker 6: more time. Get a mission, Get a purpose in your life,
- 2:56Speaker 6: find that higher calling of why you are here?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Be about it? What's it all?
- 3:03Speaker 4: For?
- 3:03Speaker 2: Get at it today now, Steve, you're making some some
- 3:08Speaker 2: some some big statements here. Uh huh yeah.
- 3:11Speaker 6: But oh you know I'm gonna clean it up for you,
- 3:13Speaker 6: don't you Cause you know I don't just throw it
- 3:15Speaker 6: out there without without the how two part. See the
- 3:18Speaker 6: how two part is usually where most people stop, they
- 3:22Speaker 6: tell you this, what you gotta do is, what you
- 3:24Speaker 6: gotta do is what you gotta do. Then they don't
- 3:25Speaker 6: tell you how to. That's why I don't. I don't
- 3:29Speaker 6: get off the boat right there.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Now.
- 3:33Speaker 6: If you're trying to figure out if you're trying to
- 3:35Speaker 6: get your life a mission, and you're trying to figure
- 3:38Speaker 6: out the purpose and what the high calling is, and
- 3:40Speaker 6: you want to be about something, and you're trying to
- 3:43Speaker 6: figure out what's it all for, and you want to
- 3:45Speaker 6: go get at it today, here's the trick.
- 3:50Speaker 2: God knows. God knows the answer to all those questions.
- 3:57Speaker 6: He knows what your mission in life is. He already
- 4:01Speaker 6: know what your purpose is. He already know what the
- 4:03Speaker 6: higher calling is. He already know what you got to
- 4:06Speaker 6: be about. He already know what is all for. He
- 4:09Speaker 6: already know what you need to go get at. God knows,
- 4:13Speaker 6: you know why. He knows because He created you. And
- 4:18Speaker 6: God created all of us with a purpose in mind.
- 4:22Speaker 6: In regardless as to how we were created, we were
- 4:25Speaker 6: all created with the purpose in mind. He got a
- 4:28Speaker 6: mission for us, He got something he wants from us,
- 4:32Speaker 6: he got something he expects of us. He has a
- 4:35Speaker 6: life of abundance prepared for each and every one of
- 4:39Speaker 6: us that will lay claim to it. Now, if you
- 4:42Speaker 6: don't want that, then gone and start making decisions on
- 4:45Speaker 6: your own, possibly like you have. Now, let me ask
- 4:49Speaker 6: you something. Since you've been making all the decisions on
- 4:51Speaker 6: your own, where you at, where you at with it?
- 4:55Speaker 6: How you feel about it every day? How locked in
- 4:58Speaker 6: on your mission are you? Are you on a good
- 5:01Speaker 6: purpose plan you know? Do you feel like your life
- 5:04Speaker 6: is in a higher calling? Do you know what you about?
- 5:08Speaker 6: Do you have an understanding of what it's all for?
- 5:11Speaker 6: Are you up every day going and getting at it?
- 5:15Speaker 2: See?
- 5:16Speaker 6: Come on now, So now I'm asking you if you've
- 5:20Speaker 6: done this without talking to God or without checking in
- 5:23Speaker 6: with your creator? Can you answer all those questions? I
- 5:27Speaker 6: can flat I'll tell you you can't. I know for
- 5:31Speaker 6: a fact you can't because you can't know how good
- 5:36Speaker 6: your life can be, and you won't have a life
- 5:40Speaker 6: as good as you want it to be until you
- 5:43Speaker 6: have connected with the one that created you. You better
- 5:47Speaker 6: understand this one now. Please understand this ain't Steve just
- 5:51Speaker 6: over here ranting and raving. This is Steve after having
- 5:54Speaker 6: years of figuring this one out. But it's all in
- 5:58Speaker 6: the Bible, it's all in holy writings. But you know
- 6:04Speaker 6: I ain't got time for that. Don't go to church
- 6:07Speaker 6: like I'm posed to. Don't read the Bible or the
- 6:11Speaker 6: scrolls or the Koran or whatever your faith is.
- 6:14Speaker 2: You don't read all that it's in that though. It's
- 6:18Speaker 2: in there.
- 6:20Speaker 6: But we're humans, so we go get at it the
- 6:24Speaker 6: way we see it. Let me tell you what happened
- 6:27Speaker 6: to me. See while I was getting at it the
- 6:31Speaker 6: way I saw it, or to be got at You
- 6:33Speaker 6: understand me. When I was defining my purpose, when I
- 6:37Speaker 6: was creating my own mission, when I was laying claim
- 6:42Speaker 6: to what my calling is in life, let me tell
- 6:45Speaker 6: you what I was doing. I was deferring. I was
- 6:49Speaker 6: deferring the abundance that He really had for me. I'm
- 6:54Speaker 6: just now listen to me. I'm just now getting at
- 6:58Speaker 6: it for real. So I've been working towards it all
- 7:01Speaker 6: my life. I didn't know it though, But see, because
- 7:04Speaker 6: God is so merciful and so full of grace, he
- 7:07Speaker 6: allowed me to make all the mistakes I made, And
- 7:11Speaker 6: then when I finally came to him, he said, all right,
- 7:14Speaker 6: now I'm gonna take all of them is to tell
- 7:15Speaker 6: you how cold I am.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Now this this God. Now I'm gonna tell you how
- 7:19Speaker 2: cold God is.
- 7:21Speaker 6: He takes all the mistakes you made, all the failures
- 7:25Speaker 6: you made while you was making your own decisions. He
- 7:29Speaker 6: takes all of that and uses them as valuable gained
- 7:33Speaker 6: and learned experiences. And he takes that and allows you
- 7:37Speaker 6: to be who you are today. See God, God ain't
- 7:40Speaker 6: gonna let you forget what you did. But here's something
- 7:44Speaker 6: cold too. He ain't gonna let what you did go
- 7:47Speaker 6: for noth Oh what.
- 7:50Speaker 2: You say, see, See that's what's cold.
- 7:53Speaker 6: See all the mistakes I made, every lie I told,
- 8:00Speaker 6: every traumatic experience I went through, I put anybody through.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Any time.
- 8:06Speaker 6: Man I was out there tripping trying to justify it
- 8:10Speaker 6: as right. He said, all right, okay, But now because
- 8:14Speaker 6: of my mercy and my grace, what I'm gonna do
- 8:20Speaker 6: is I'm gonna allow all this to happen. You're gonna
- 8:23Speaker 6: waste a lot of time, you gonna forfeit a life
- 8:26Speaker 6: of abundance that you could have been and had.
- 8:29Speaker 2: But I tell you what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 8:30Speaker 2: take all of that and I'm gonna turn it into
- 8:33Speaker 2: some good.
- 8:34Speaker 6: So I'm gonna let all of these lessons that you've learned,
- 8:37Speaker 6: all of these hardships, all of these moments are despaired,
- 8:41Speaker 6: come back and you'll use them and you'll wear them
- 8:43Speaker 6: on your head like a crown.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You gonna it's gonna be jewels in your head.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Man.
- 8:48Speaker 6: I'm gonna take all of that stuff and make you knowledgeable.
- 8:52Speaker 6: I'm gonna take all that stuff and make you wise.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Man.
- 8:55Speaker 6: I'm gonna take all of that stuff and I'm gonna
- 8:58Speaker 6: put it in your mission. I'm gonna take all that
- 9:01Speaker 6: stuff and make that a part of your purpose. I'm
- 9:03Speaker 6: gonna take all that stuff and create that to be
- 9:06Speaker 6: a part of your higher calling. I'm gonna take all
- 9:09Speaker 6: that and let you be about that right there. I'm
- 9:12Speaker 6: gonna take all of that, and i'm gonna let you
- 9:14Speaker 6: find out what it's all been for. I'm gonna take
- 9:17Speaker 6: all of that, and with all of that mess you've
- 9:20Speaker 6: made of your life, I'm gonna let you now take
- 9:22Speaker 6: all that and go get at it.
- 9:24Speaker 2: See, but that only happens when you come to God.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Because God is the only one that knows what you've
- 9:31Speaker 6: been through and how to take what you've been through
- 9:33Speaker 6: and turn it into something to help you get through
- 9:36Speaker 6: what you're going through.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Hey, the only one can do that.
- 9:39Speaker 6: Ain't nobody else like him. There's nothing like him on
- 9:43Speaker 6: this world available to you. Man, So quit tripping yourself out,
- 9:47Speaker 6: get over there and talk to God. Man, quit wasting
- 9:49Speaker 6: your life like I was doing.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Stop.
- 9:51Speaker 6: I'm telling you He'll let you get at it, and
- 9:53Speaker 6: can't nobody let you get at it like him.

- 10:35Speaker 2: He's so good at it. God is so good at
- 10:37Speaker 2: what he does.
- 10:39Speaker 6: It happens so flawlessly that you don't even know what's happening.

- 22:35Speaker 8: and that's all coming up. Yeah, right now, it's time
- 22:42Speaker 8: to ask the COLO.
- 22:43Speaker 1: We'll get to it.
- 22:47Speaker 8: Same thing they've always stolen all right, ready, Colo, here
- 22:52Speaker 8: we go. This is from Starlin in Oklahoma City. Starlin writes,
- 22:57Speaker 8: my husband is begging to downsize, but can barely stand
- 23:00Speaker 8: him in the big house we live in now. I
- 23:03Speaker 8: don't think we'll survive in a smaller home because he
- 23:06Speaker 8: doesn't respect my space. How do I tell him that
- 23:10Speaker 8: I don't want to move into a smaller house?
- 23:12Speaker 2: Wow, Well, don't you just tell him what you just
- 23:15Speaker 2: told us?
- 23:17Speaker 1: See how that goes?
- 23:18Speaker 2: He can't move?
- 23:19Speaker 6: Lets you go, hello, downside. You're talking about like into
- 23:24Speaker 6: a tiny house.
- 23:26Speaker 1: She didn't say a tiny house. She said a smaller house.
- 23:29Speaker 5: No, no, no, no.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Then what she said?
- 23:33Speaker 6: And she scared because he already don't respect her privacy? Well,
- 23:36Speaker 6: you move in that tiny house. I got news for you, privacy. Oh,
- 23:44Speaker 6: I have been in the tiny house. That tarlet is
- 23:48Speaker 6: way too close to the kitchen.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Here we go. I ain't never seen the tiny house
- 23:54Speaker 2: with two tilets. He's just one as somebody gonna be
- 24:00Speaker 2: in there when you in the kitchen. Wow, don't do it.
- 24:05Speaker 6: Don't do it, don't do it. Don't downsize. I'm not downsized.
- 24:11Speaker 8: But she doesn't like him in the big house. So
- 24:13Speaker 8: she's saying she's really not gonna like him in the time. Well,
- 24:15Speaker 8: the smaller house.
- 24:17Speaker 2: It ain't the house, it's him. She don't like him.
- 24:19Speaker 2: He can stay across the street. She ain't't like it
- 24:22Speaker 2: if he come over.
- 24:26Speaker 7: All right.
- 24:27Speaker 8: Moving on to Odell in Flint, Odell writes, I'm turning
- 24:31Speaker 8: sixty in December, so I'm throwing a big house party,
- 24:35Speaker 8: and I'm inviting all of my so called trifling friends
- 24:39Speaker 8: that my wife hates and has said she doesn't want
- 24:43Speaker 8: them in her house.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Is it a night of good old fashioned fun and
- 24:47Speaker 1: weed smoking? Worse? Is a night of that wor it's
- 24:51Speaker 1: a fight with my wife?
- 24:54Speaker 2: Your question? Yeah, good for nothing? Trifling friends?
- 24:59Speaker 1: So called?
- 25:00Speaker 6: Right from if they trifling, why they're your friend? Why
- 25:05Speaker 6: why you want them in your house?
- 25:07Speaker 5: Right?
- 25:08Speaker 1: His wife doesn't?
- 25:09Speaker 2: And then your wife said, no, it's her house. Brou y'all.
- 25:14Speaker 6: I don't even know how you think this's fitna be
- 25:16Speaker 6: a night of good old weed smoking fun.
- 25:20Speaker 2: You know, I ain't never smoke weed, so I'm not
- 25:23Speaker 2: an expert, but let me let me just assume this.
- 25:26Speaker 6: You know how high you got to be to have
- 25:29Speaker 6: somebody over the house and like them that you don't like.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Weed. You got to smoke to start liking a person.
- 25:36Speaker 1: But his wife hates them and she doesn't want them
- 25:39Speaker 1: in the house.
- 25:41Speaker 2: You know how much weed? Your wife don't have to
- 25:43Speaker 2: smoke to start liking These people?
- 25:47Speaker 1: A disaster waiting to happen, it is.
- 25:49Speaker 6: But this don't make no sense at all. Why don't
- 25:51Speaker 6: you just have a sixty? Do you have any decent frame?
- 25:55Speaker 2: I think he was high when he wrote this, Yeah, smoky.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Look, I'm from generation so I have friends who smoke
- 26:10Speaker 6: wheed and they know that I've never done it, and
- 26:13Speaker 6: it's just amazing to them that I still don't smoke wheed.
- 26:18Speaker 2: It's nothing in it for me. But I'm not fit
- 26:20Speaker 2: to have no already, I don't like you and you
- 26:23Speaker 2: coming to I don't have people at my house.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I don't like that.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Ain't happening, no high energy.
- 26:34Speaker 5: That.
- 26:34Speaker 8: Yeah, it's too much. Yeah, so it's not worth the
- 26:38Speaker 8: fight with his wife though, all right. Moving on to
- 26:41Speaker 8: Carissa and Newark Colo, Carissa writes, I kept my best
- 26:46Speaker 8: friend's new dog. I opened the garage door and he
- 26:49Speaker 8: ran out. I didn't find Yeah, I didn't find the
- 26:52Speaker 8: dog until right before dark, and I didn't tell my
- 26:55Speaker 8: friend about it right away. She's mad because I didn't
- 26:57Speaker 8: call when it happened. Is her anger at me justified
- 27:01Speaker 8: or not?
- 27:02Speaker 5: Question?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know why.
- 27:04Speaker 9: She told her, if you come back, your dog at
- 27:07Speaker 9: the house, just like I didn't exhausted.
- 27:12Speaker 2: But he at the high the fact that he been gone.
- 27:15Speaker 2: What was we tripping on that folk?
- 27:17Speaker 1: I can't tell.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he been in the streets, went up the street
- 27:24Speaker 2: to haller at that poodle and it got late.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy that she would tell.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Oh, well, see, I don't do none of that. No,
- 27:37Speaker 2: don't get me.
- 27:37Speaker 6: I'm not keeping your dog. I don't want the one
- 27:39Speaker 6: I got, so please don't ask me to keep yo
- 27:44Speaker 6: keeping your dog. Man your dog got out? She lucky
- 27:48Speaker 6: it wasn't in my house, because the story would have been,
- 27:50Speaker 6: man opened the garage or that dog shot right out
- 27:52Speaker 6: of there?
- 27:53Speaker 2: Did you go get him? I didn't know where it
- 27:56Speaker 2: was going. I didn't know where he was. I left
- 28:03Speaker 2: the garage open.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I went on went to work, thought he was going
- 28:07Speaker 1: to come back.
- 28:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I had a presentation at the job, so I
- 28:10Speaker 6: left the garage though, in case he wanted to come
- 28:12Speaker 6: back in, and he never came back. Man, your dog crazy.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Wow, So when you were driving to work, you to
- 28:19Speaker 1: see the dog anyway? This is really bad. Steve not
- 28:23Speaker 1: a dog.
- 28:23Speaker 2: When he shot out the garage, he went the other way.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I go, I'll go out your driveway.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I make it right, so you couldn't. He made a
- 28:30Speaker 1: left to try to look for the dog.
- 28:33Speaker 2: You couldn't do that. I left the garage open for
- 28:36Speaker 2: him to come back.
- 28:37Speaker 1: He doesn't live there. He may not know where to go.
- 28:41Speaker 10: Clearly the dog had somewhere to go, or he didn't
- 28:46Speaker 10: like you. He was trying to run away, had the dog?
- 28:51Speaker 1: What was the last time you feared the dog and
- 28:53Speaker 1: gave the dogs?
- 28:54Speaker 2: That's why I opened the garage. I guess he wanted.
- 29:02Speaker 5: Worried.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Never let Steve keep it done.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I thought he's going down there. I thought. I thought
- 29:06Speaker 2: he knew a dog up the street. They were gonna
- 29:08Speaker 2: have breakfast together. I didn't cat it. Yeah, shot, I said,
- 29:12Speaker 2: man running half breakfast with it.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Boy, that's terrible.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I don't have been barking that night.
- 29:18Speaker 6: I don't know what they said each other, so I
- 29:20Speaker 6: know when that dope went over it, I thought he
- 29:22Speaker 6: was going over there, straighten it out.
- 29:23Speaker 2: But he ain't come.
- 29:26Speaker 1: This is really bad. Never let Steve watch.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I know that.
- 29:30Speaker 1: That's the lesson here.
- 29:31Speaker 8: Okay, last one, King and Miami says, my wife went
- 29:35Speaker 8: through my phone, so a photo of me and my
- 29:37Speaker 8: ex we were in high school on the picture. So
- 29:39Speaker 8: there's no reason for my wife to be mad. My
- 29:42Speaker 8: mother sent me the photo, so I saved it to
- 29:44Speaker 8: my phone. How is this picture a threat to my wife?
- 29:50Speaker 2: How? How did they say how old they were?
- 29:52Speaker 5: No?
- 29:52Speaker 1: But I mean this is back when they were in

- 36:10Speaker 6: This year idente yes, okay, So Shirley, after you, after
- 36:15Speaker 6: you do the noodles, then what do you do?
- 36:18Speaker 5: Then?

- 36:20Speaker 8: cold water on them, put a little olive oil, you know,
- 36:25Speaker 8: and put them back on there, and then put the
- 36:27Speaker 8: sauce on there if I want, or you can have

- 56:48Speaker 2: a strawberry letter, Thank.
- 56:50Speaker 5: You, not for you.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Subject. My cousin owns the car wash.
- 56:53Speaker 8: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty nine year old hopeless
- 56:57Speaker 8: romantic and I got married too quickly to a man
- 57:00Speaker 8: that I barely knew. Now all of my family is
- 57:04Speaker 8: in my business, and I'm so disappointed in myself. I
- 57:07Speaker 8: met a man that's from another city, and after we
- 57:10Speaker 8: dated for a few months, he came to visit me
- 57:14Speaker 8: and never left. He quickly got a great job and
- 57:17Speaker 8: he got settled in. He has a friend in town,
- 57:20Speaker 8: so he's usually hanging out with him or he's at work.
- 57:24Speaker 8: I never suspected he was cheating on me until three
- 57:27Speaker 8: days ago when I found out that he's had sex
- 57:31Speaker 8: in his car. My cousin owns a car wash and
- 57:35Speaker 8: he specializes in wheels and detailing leather seats. My husband's
- 57:40Speaker 8: escalade is his pride and joy, so he gets it
- 57:43Speaker 8: washed often. I did not know he was going all
- 57:47Speaker 8: the way across town to get his car washed until
- 57:49Speaker 8: I got a call from my cousin's wife. She said,
- 57:52Speaker 8: my husband has brought his truck to the car wash
- 57:54Speaker 8: a few times, and he's always got interesting stains and
- 57:58Speaker 8: pieces of weave all.
- 58:00Speaker 1: Over the truck.
- 58:01Speaker 8: My cousin figured out that it's my husband after he
- 58:04Speaker 8: saw a business card in the truck. See, my cousin
- 58:08Speaker 8: wasn't invited to my wedding because he is on the
- 58:11Speaker 8: ghetto side of my family, so he didn't know my husband.
- 58:15Speaker 5: I just hate that.
- 58:15Speaker 1: Before my cousin's.
- 58:16Speaker 8: Wife called me, she called my mom and told her
- 58:20Speaker 8: that my husband has been having sex in his truck
- 58:22Speaker 8: and getting it cleaned. Afterwards, I asked my husband about
- 58:26Speaker 8: the rumor, and he threatened to fight my cousin and
- 58:30Speaker 8: out him as a liar and a bad businessman. I
- 58:34Speaker 8: assured him that my cousin is not the one to
- 58:37Speaker 8: be played with like that. If my husband is not cheating,
- 58:41Speaker 8: why would he be so upset. I don't see my
- 58:43Speaker 8: cousin hating on my husband for no reason, since my
- 58:47Speaker 8: family knows, can my marriage survive this? Well, you really
- 58:52Speaker 8: don't have much of a marriage to survive anything. You know,
- 58:57Speaker 8: you guys don't even spend a lot of time together.
- 59:00Speaker 8: Said he's over at his friend's house or he's over
- 59:02Speaker 8: at work. It sounds like your man is cheating and
- 59:06Speaker 8: everyone knows it. Your family is messy, and you are right.
- 59:09Speaker 8: Your cousin's wife didn't have to blast the business to
- 59:12Speaker 8: your mom. But you said yourself that you barely know
- 59:15Speaker 8: this man. I mean, you barely knew him when you
- 59:18Speaker 8: married him. He's probably doing what he normally did when
- 59:21Speaker 8: he was single in that other town, but you didn't
- 59:24Speaker 8: know him then, so you don't have anything to compare
- 59:27Speaker 8: his behavior to. And when you asked him about it,
- 59:30Speaker 8: he didn't deny it.
- 59:31Speaker 1: He didn't say.
- 59:32Speaker 8: Absolutely not, no, he didn't blah blah blah blah blah.
- 59:35Speaker 8: He didn't even try to lie. He just didn't deny
- 59:37Speaker 8: it and said he was going to give your cousin
- 59:39Speaker 8: a beat down. It looks like your husband is cheating.
- 59:43Speaker 8: Not if he's cheating, like you wrote in a letter, Steve,
- 59:48Speaker 8: that's what you need to wrap your mind around. Your
- 59:50Speaker 8: marriage is in trouble, and I don't see how you're
- 59:53Speaker 8: going to get past this one. Let's see what kind
- 59:56Speaker 8: of lies can come up with for this one, Steve.
- 59:59Speaker 6: Well, I don't think has really got to be no
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: lives because I just analyze this letter properly. I mean,
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: let's go through this. Times has this circumstance. See we
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: deal with circumstance. Okay, watch how we do this. This
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: woman says that I'm a twenty nine year old hopeless romantic.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: I got married too quickly to a man that I
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: barely knew. Now, I don't know if this is the
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: definition of a hopeless romantic.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: This is not what this is. I think this is
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: called crazy. This may just be crazy.
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: You might not have nothing to do with you being
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: a hopeless romantic at all, because you married a man
- 1:00:43Speaker 6: you didn't hardly know what what they got to do
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: with it. And I'm so disappointed in myself. Now all
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: your family's in your business. You say, you say you
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: met this man from another city, y'all dated a few months,
- 1:00:58Speaker 6: came to visit me and never left.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: That didn't sound st That doesn't seem strange.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: To you.
- 1:01:03Speaker 6: How can a man come from another city visit you
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: and never go back? Where where he work? Where he lived?
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: Where his house?
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: What's what's his least payment?
- 1:01:19Speaker 11: What?
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: What's he ain't got no lease? No way?
- 1:01:23Speaker 6: What how you just go visit and then don't go back.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: That's not being a hopeless romantic. Something's wrong with this.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: He quickly got a great job, okay, settled in, He
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: got a friend in town. He usually hanging out with him,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: or he's at work. Then the lady said, I never
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: suspected he was cheating on me intil three days and go.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: Now here's what this whole letter is about. My cousin
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: owns the car washerton and then I don't know why
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: she threw this in here. He specializes in wheels and
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: detail and leather seats.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: So you got a car washed.
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: Everybody got a car wash, wiping seats and doing wheels.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Everybody with a car wash.
- 1:02:16Speaker 6: Anyway, My husband's escalade is his pride and joyce, so
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: he gets it washed often. Here's another precarious line. I
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: did not know he was going all the way across town.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: To get his car washed. What what difference do that make?
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Where he get his car washed.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: What.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: Maybe it's because it's a great car wash. Remember your
- 1:02:43Speaker 6: cousin special lines in wheels. He went over there for
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: a specialty. And all of this was going good until
- 1:02:53Speaker 6: you got a call from your cousin's wife.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: And we come back. I will tell you what's with
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: this whole letter?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: All right, Steve?
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: Hang on for part two of Steve's response, coming up
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letter,
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: subject my cousin owns the car wash.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We'll get back into.
- 1:03:13Speaker 8: It right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:53Speaker 8: and Amazon. All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: Strawberry letter. The subject my cousin.
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: The car wash before I do this letter.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: I've noticed a trend in Shirley and I's responses to
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: these letters. If a man is accused of cheating, if
- 1:04:12Speaker 6: a man has circumstantial evidence about cheating, then my partner
- 1:04:18Speaker 6: in crime, who we are supposed to give our own
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: opinions and separate, looks at this ninety eight percent of
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: the time, gonna ride his to the police station and lock.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: His up for cheat.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: Absolutely, and in this letter there was no difference. But
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: I have several problems with this letter.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: So after she calls herself a romantic, hopeless romantic, meets
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: this guy, she barely news.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Guy believes town one time, comes to visit her and
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: never goes back.
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: That's odd. He gets a job, quickly settles in. She's
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: embarrassed by this because now she met him. She marry
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: a man she hardly knew in the family, all up
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: in the business, and so everything is going right, and
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: she had no suspicions of him cheating until three days
- 1:05:01Speaker 6: ago when he took his car to a car wash
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: that specializes in wheels and leather seats. Okay, we got
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: that right.
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: She gets a call from her cousin's wife. Now, this
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: is where the letter takes a turn. She said that
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: my husband bought his truck to the car wash a
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: few times, and he's always got interesting stains and pieces
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: of weave all over the truck. This is what your
- 1:05:27Speaker 6: cousin's wife said. You've never seen the weave in the truck,
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: and you've never seen any stains. Okay, that's just a fact.
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: So we're going based on what your cousin's wife told you.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Now, listen to this.
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: My cousin figured out that it's my husband's after he
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: saw a business card in the truck.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Now, and then here we go.
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: See, my cousin wasn't invited to my wedding because he's
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: on the ghetto side of my family, so he didn't
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: know my husband. This is very important information. She didn't
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: invite that side of the family because they ghetto. Okay,
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: then she says, I just hate that before my cousin's
- 1:06:11Speaker 6: wife called me, she called my mom and told her
- 1:06:15Speaker 6: that my husband has been having sex in his truck
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: and getting it cleaned afterwards.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Okay, how she know that, y'all?
- 1:06:24Speaker 14: I mean, really, the stains in the weave, the steams
- 1:06:27Speaker 14: in the weave, that the wife ain't never seen you
- 1:06:31Speaker 14: just said they get on you and invite them to
- 1:06:33Speaker 14: the wedding.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Now I'm gonna show you something else in here that
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: gets a little crazy.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: So that's because they didn't come from to the wedding.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: They didn't get no listen to this.
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: I asked my husband about the rumor, and he threatened
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: to fight my cousin and out him as a liar
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: and a bad businessman, as he should. I assured him
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: that my cousin is not the one to be played
- 1:06:55Speaker 6: with like that. Now this is good information because you
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: just said you didn't invite your husband to the wedding
- 1:07:02Speaker 6: because he ghetto.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: To the wedding because he ghetto, Okay.
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: And so now this is a fair warner. If you
- 1:07:12Speaker 6: go over there and fight the dude that on the
- 1:07:15Speaker 6: car washing, go get your whoop. That's stuff what this
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: is about.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: Get your whoop.
- 1:07:20Speaker 6: But now she's saying, if he didn't cheek, why is
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: he doing this? But I assured him that my cousin
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: is not the one to be played with. Why would
- 1:07:29Speaker 6: he be so upset. I don't see my husband hating
- 1:07:34Speaker 6: I don't see my cousin hating on my husband for
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: no reason, since my family knows can my marriage survive this? Now,
- 1:07:44Speaker 6: I think you know that your family on that side
- 1:07:47Speaker 6: is messy, and this water has speculated they had some
- 1:07:55Speaker 6: stains and weave in the truck that you've never seen.
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: And now you ain't invite us to the wedding. So
- 1:08:04Speaker 6: you must thank you all that in the bag of chips.
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: So now let me show you that you ain't all that.
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: And I'm gonna tell your mama he was having sex
- 1:08:12Speaker 6: in the trunk.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: How you know that what stains?
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: But see, just because she didn't see it, does that
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: mean that it didn't happen?
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: But so then you're gonna en your marriage based on that.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: She has? She has.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: What stains?
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Sureley the stains that the cousin saw in the back seat. Yeah,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: she didn't specify. She didn't specify because she's messy. Yeah,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: they're message.
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: But see though, let me ask you something. So does
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: the cousin's wife work at the car wash?
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Well it sounds like she does.
- 1:09:00Speaker 6: Yeah, so if she ain't washing cars, how she knows
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: what's in the car? No doubt if he owned the cars,
- 1:09:09Speaker 6: call washing that his wife is out there washing cars.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: I doubt that.
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: This reeks of hate for not being invited to the
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: web that see y'all ruining your Well, look, you married
- 1:09:24Speaker 6: the man too soon. The man might be cheating, but
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: you gonna end it on this speculation. You should have
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: ended it on something that you knew and not on hearsay.
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: And if you take that, if you took this to court.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: You would lose. I just want to tell you that
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: because you have no evidence.
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: You ain't seen no pictures of it, you ain't went
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: through his phone, you ain't got no text messages. You
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: getting a DNA report off of forensic science. Hell for that,
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: ain't even a forensic scientist. I don't think the man
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: might not be cheating at all.
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: Sorry, Sure, and.
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: He might be. Sorry, Steve.

- 1:13:42Speaker 8: Coming up at the top of the hour, a mom
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: is jealous of her husband and sons bond and she
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: needs some advice.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. Yes, that's crazy.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: Less up. It's DJ cal This you boy, Chris Broth.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Hey, this is Keisha cole gost people, this is Kirk Franklin. Hey,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: this is John legend and you listened to the Steve
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, all right,
- 1:14:09Speaker 8: So this is from Leonora and Alabaster. Leonora says, my
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: baby boy pledged the fraternity and didn't tell me anything
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: about it until it was over. My husband knew about
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: it and gave him the money for everything. I prayed
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: that my son and my new husband would get along
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: after we got married, but it didn't happen until now.
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: Would I be considered a bitter betty for complaining about
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: them keeping a secret? Or should I feel blessed that
- 1:14:38Speaker 8: they finally created a bond?
- 1:14:40Speaker 5: What?
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: She prayed?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: What are you complaining about? The what you had hoped
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: happened happened.
- 1:14:47Speaker 6: It didn't happen in the time, and you wanted all
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: the way you want it, But it happened. The reason
- 1:14:53Speaker 6: your boy didn't want to tell you about it because
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: he didn't want to hear your mouth, so he went
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: to the man. The man when yeah, that's cool, I
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: work with you. Mad, thanks man, because I just really
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: mean a.
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: Lot to me. Now they the bonded. Now you mad
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: because your boy didn't tell you you was he wanted
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: to be in the fraternity.
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: You ain't in the fraternity. You can't pledge with this boy.
- 1:15:16Speaker 6: And you was gonna shoot it down and complain.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Lady, I don't even understand.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: You should go wow, oh so y'all did it like that?
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: I understand that she would have made this pledge period
- 1:15:28Speaker 9: worse than ever if she didn't know the day in
- 1:15:30Speaker 9: and day bro So what blowing him up?
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: Day? What y'all? What they down there doing to him?
- 1:15:38Speaker 6: I ain't nothing. They ain't doing nothing down there. They
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: just pledged, and it's so different now.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: So she should just feel blessed that they finally bonded
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: with what she prayed.
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: For the boy and got in the frat.
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: Okay, all right, all right.
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: Well we have time for another one. This is from
- 1:15:58Speaker 8: Breeland in Atlantic City. Brelin says, I got married and
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: she did, and you didn't mention she didn't you know
- 1:16:06Speaker 8: if the father was in it? Uh huh's a couple
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: of things. He probably is then I ain't gonna say.
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: All right from Breelan. This is from Breland in Atlantic City.
- 1:16:18Speaker 8: Brelin says, I got married and two months later my
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: husband ghosted me. He eventually told me that he was
- 1:16:25Speaker 8: in legal trouble, and he distanced himself to keep me
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: out of the mess, out of his mess. Our vows
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: say that we're in it for better or for worse.
- 1:16:34Speaker 8: Why won't he let me help him work through it?
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: Why won't he let me work through it with them?
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: Because the legal trouble he in involved another woman.
- 1:16:46Speaker 8: Wow, that's easy, this legal No police, He didn't need
- 1:16:54Speaker 8: an attorney, none of that.
- 1:16:56Speaker 6: No, no, no, this legal trouble he in involves another
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: woman and it could be very legal. But it's another
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: woman involved, and you're not gonna understand that.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Well, no, she is none of this. Does she understand?
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:17:11Speaker 5: That's it?
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: Is it a baby?
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: He's still married?
- 1:17:17Speaker 5: What is it?
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: It's something very very legal.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Why did he marry her in the first place? Then?
- 1:17:27Speaker 7: Because he loved her? Love, but he has some legal trouble.
- 1:17:31Speaker 7: He can't be there. He has to be Yeah, he
- 1:17:34Speaker 7: got to be going.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Yeah, he got a ghost her. Yeah, it's a legal matter.
- 1:17:39Speaker 6: Somebody had to be at that hospital to sign that
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: birth certificate.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: It's a baby.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: That's a legal matter.
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: Also also, uh huh, were trying to get this house
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: into receivership and it's out of town.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: I got be over here. It's so many things.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: This is crazy. This guy's a limitstick.

- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Listen, why not wait till all of this and then
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: marry her if he loves her?
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: I do and told the insurance company that I had
- 1:18:18Speaker 6: a back injury and I'm bed ridden. I got to
- 1:18:21Speaker 6: stay at this girl's house in this bed because they
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: driving by checking on me.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I'm trying to get this check.
