- 1:58Speaker 3: Come on you think that ull huh? I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and all that Steve Harvey Man
- 2:10Speaker 7: oh Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yep.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Trying to make it work too. I'm not trying. I'm
- 2:16Speaker 7: getting it. I'm getting it done to the best of
- 2:20Speaker 7: my abilities. Now, something funny my father taught me. He said, son,
- 2:26Speaker 7: when you've done all you can do, if you've done
- 2:29Speaker 7: your absolute best and you look up and it didn't
- 2:34Speaker 7: get the job done, take a deep breath and do
- 2:39Speaker 7: some more. That used to bug me, man, when my
- 2:44Speaker 7: father used to tell me. That is the son, when
- 2:46Speaker 7: you've done your absolute best and you think you can't
- 2:50Speaker 7: do no more, You've done all you can and it
- 2:53Speaker 7: still don't get the job done.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Take yourself a deep breath.
- 3:00Speaker 7: And do some more, and you know what I found
- 3:03Speaker 7: that has worked every single time, every single time, because
- 3:11Speaker 7: what my father knew was that what you think is
- 3:16Speaker 7: your breaking point or what you think is your all
- 3:19Speaker 7: in all, he says, son, it's just something about it. Man,
- 3:24Speaker 7: if you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:29Speaker 7: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:35Speaker 7: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly.
- 3:39Speaker 7: And you know it.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Everybody does have some more. You know.
- 3:43Speaker 7: I tell that to my sons all the time. Dad,
- 3:46Speaker 7: I did my best. Well, let mens you something else?
- 3:49Speaker 7: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:51Speaker 7: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 7: bit earlier, could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 7: well then okay, that's what you should have done. Then see,
- 4:03Speaker 7: there's always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 7: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 7: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:13Speaker 7: very sad statement for you right now. You're never gonna
- 4:19Speaker 7: get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Not to the top. You can get halfway up. Now,
- 4:26Speaker 7: you can get a third of the whey up, you
- 4:27Speaker 7: can get three quarters of the whey up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 7: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:33Speaker 7: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:38Speaker 7: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 7: the drive and the gut riching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 7: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 7: It's just the top. There ain't but one top then
- 4:55Speaker 7: the middle done, ain't it?
- 4:57Speaker 3: You know?
- 4:57Speaker 7: The top, the top of the mountain. Aye, It's a
- 5:00Speaker 7: different view at the top. Things look different from up top.
- 5:05Speaker 7: So if you want to get to the top of
- 5:06Speaker 7: whatever your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is,
- 5:15Speaker 7: you got to do extra. You have to do more.
- 5:19Speaker 7: More is expected of you. More, but he is what's
- 5:22Speaker 7: really crazy. More is required of you. Don't live your
- 5:27Speaker 7: life in a laxadaisical state. Don't wake up every day
- 5:31Speaker 7: with the feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens.
- 5:35Speaker 7: No man have a say so in your life.
- 5:39Speaker 3: You.
- 5:39Speaker 7: First of all, let me ask you something. Who has God?
- 5:44Speaker 7: Name the person that God has given authority over you.
- 5:49Speaker 7: Name the person? But who is the person? Nobody has
- 5:53Speaker 7: domain over you? God didn't create that person. So what
- 5:57Speaker 7: you sitting here for man, what do you say here
- 6:00Speaker 7: for letting people who do not know direct your path?
- 6:05Speaker 7: Why are you worried about all these people with what
- 6:08Speaker 7: they got to say about you and all these people
- 6:11Speaker 7: with what they got to think about you? When here's
- 6:13Speaker 7: the news flash, they don't know either. All these people
- 6:19Speaker 7: that you overly concerned about, all these people that you
- 6:24Speaker 7: go into these answers for, they need answers to.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Stop.
- 6:30Speaker 7: What are you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute.
- 6:33Speaker 7: Here is a solution to all of that. You have
- 6:37Speaker 7: one source that will be there for you to the
- 6:41Speaker 7: end of time, and that is your relationship with God.
- 6:45Speaker 3: That is the one thing that's solid and for show.
- 6:48Speaker 7: He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell. He
- 6:52Speaker 7: rides with you in the police car. He's with you
- 6:55Speaker 7: on your job up into school. He's down there in
- 6:58Speaker 7: the board meetings with you, goes with you when you
- 7:01Speaker 7: travel on planes. He says with you when you're in
- 7:04Speaker 7: a relationship. He helps you with your parenting skills. He
- 7:08Speaker 7: helps you. He's there to assist you. He show if
- 7:11Speaker 7: you do the right things, he show you and guide
- 7:13Speaker 7: you to your next job. When you lose your job
- 7:15Speaker 7: and you think it's a rap. There's some good behind him. Man,
- 7:19Speaker 7: God is always working on your behalf. To those that believe, you,
- 7:23Speaker 7: just gotta believe. He don't ask you for nothing else.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Believe in me. That's all He asks you to do.
- 7:29Speaker 7: What you're tripping for. Man, And then when you make
- 7:32Speaker 7: the decision to believe in Him, and it comes out
- 7:35Speaker 7: your mouth from time to time somewhere. What you're worried about,
- 7:38Speaker 7: what people say, What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:41Speaker 3: Why who are they?
- 7:42Speaker 7: They need God to you telling them you found something
- 7:46Speaker 7: new that you're gonna give this a shot right here. Now,
- 7:49Speaker 7: they got some yang yin yang and some yak of
- 7:51Speaker 7: the yak to say about that when they need God too.
- 7:55Speaker 7: That's what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 7:58Speaker 7: be knocking your dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,
- 8:02Speaker 7: do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create
- 8:04Speaker 7: no laws? Why I can't do mine? That don't make
- 8:07Speaker 7: no sense, man, that makes no sense at all to me.
- 8:12Speaker 7: You have the right to go be whatever you want
- 8:14Speaker 7: to be. You know, if you don't, you don't like
- 8:17Speaker 7: the fact that I'm in school, got my head bowed
- 8:20Speaker 7: down and I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Just don't buy your head. Don't you pray. But if
- 8:25Speaker 7: some kids want to get together, that's some crazy mess.
- 8:28Speaker 7: That's what happened in our schools. We took prayer out
- 8:30Speaker 7: of schools. Now look at our schools. You send your
- 8:34Speaker 7: child to school and someone else comes back home. That's
- 8:39Speaker 7: a whole nother thing right here. That's not what I
- 8:42Speaker 7: want to talk to you about. But I was just
- 8:44Speaker 7: throwing it out because you know, hey, man, your relationship
- 8:47Speaker 7: with God is essential to your success as a person.
- 8:50Speaker 7: It's essential to your existence. It's essential to where you're
- 8:53Speaker 7: trying to go and what you're trying to be. Because
- 8:56Speaker 7: He made you, Why would you not talk to the
- 8:59Speaker 7: person that made you to find out what he created
- 9:02Speaker 7: you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who made
- 9:06Speaker 7: your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 9:10Speaker 7: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 9:13Speaker 7: why you got made? That don't make sense to you.
- 9:18Speaker 7: If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation. You're
- 9:21Speaker 7: sitting in a jail cell somewhere, you locked up, you
- 9:24Speaker 7: doing some time, man, be a good time for you
- 9:27Speaker 7: to reflect. But whatever your situation, is man. God can
- 9:31Speaker 7: get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 7: the courage to wherewith all the understanding everything you need,
- 9:38Speaker 7: the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
- 9:41Speaker 7: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 9:44Speaker 7: God every single day of my life. And what he's
- 9:50Speaker 7: done for me man off the chain. But guess what
- 9:55Speaker 7: he'll do the same thing for you.
- 9:57Speaker 8: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, Ladies and gentlemen, it's another day, another

- 10:23Speaker 7: But anybody listening to me, thank God for my wife.
- 10:29Speaker 7: She buys me something for Father's Day. Thank you. She's
- 10:32Speaker 7: the only one that say and she the only one
- 10:34Speaker 7: that don't have that excuse you got everything. I don't
- 10:36Speaker 7: know what to get you. She finds a way. The
- 10:39Speaker 7: rest of them is just thank you for being my children.
- 10:42Speaker 7: Just then, no, well call the Children's Day and just
- 10:45Speaker 7: let the fathers thank y'all for being our kids, because
- 10:48Speaker 7: that's what it turned out to be.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Appreciate it.
- 10:50Speaker 7: I don't want you drawing and all that. Don't you're
- 10:53Speaker 7: too old for that. Don't give me no drawing. Yeah
- 10:57Speaker 7: to day to day the rested with drawings they gave
- 11:01Speaker 7: me over the years. No, really, you know, it's not
- 11:04Speaker 7: the same as Mother's Day, ladies. I'm sorry, it's just not.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Weren't you happy to be with your kids?
- 11:09Speaker 6: Weren't you happy spending time with your children and your
- 11:13Speaker 6: ground day?
- 11:15Speaker 1: And for obvious reasons.
- 11:16Speaker 8: It's not the same as Mother's Day.
- 11:19Speaker 3: I ain't see not a one of my grandkids. We

- 11:56Speaker 10: You are minnery camp? You know you got you got
- 11:59Speaker 10: locked on? Congrat Come on the time man.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Trying to make a difference, man, matter of fact, making
- 12:09Speaker 7: a difference, making a difference.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Man, Uh, happiest over.
- 12:16Speaker 7: It's been back to back weeks since girls was here
- 12:18Speaker 7: the first week before and then the boys. It's it's
- 12:22Speaker 7: amazing though. I'll tell you what we did different this year.
- 12:26Speaker 7: I asked a question. I said, at the very beginning,
- 12:30Speaker 7: is there anybody who doesn't really want to be here?
- 12:34Speaker 3: And only one little boy raised his hand, only one. Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 7: I said, all right, man, let me tell you what
- 12:40Speaker 7: we're gonna do this week. Reconsidered, let me let me
- 12:44Speaker 7: know how you feel. Went through this whole spill, got
- 12:47Speaker 7: through talking, they ate, He came up to me and said,
- 12:50Speaker 7: it's all I still don't want to be here. I said, okay,
- 12:53Speaker 7: no problem, no problem, get your bag, I'll call you mama.
- 12:59Speaker 7: You know, man, listen, I've spent so much time with
- 13:03Speaker 7: boys who don't want to be there that it distracts
- 13:07Speaker 7: from times tech time up for the kids who do.
- 13:11Speaker 7: And you know, because I had a boy that was
- 13:13Speaker 7: so disruptive one year. Man, he spent the whole camp
- 13:17Speaker 7: poisoning and taining little boy's minding.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Because he was such a bully type.
- 13:21Speaker 7: He affected about ten of the boys, theys going around
- 13:24Speaker 7: just doing just what they wanted to do.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I said, okay, cool, all right, cool.
- 13:30Speaker 7: And other than that, one hundred and forty nine boys

- 16:06Speaker 7: to find out about it.
- 16:08Speaker 11: Read something that can make you do wrong, make you
- 16:14Speaker 11: do right?
- 16:16Speaker 3: Stop right there.
- 16:17Speaker 7: It is a feeling that produces a positive.
- 16:25Speaker 3: A negative at the same time.
- 16:27Speaker 11: Reads out love and happiness. And then he said, but
- 16:33Speaker 11: wait a minute, something's going wrong.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Stop right there, all right? He said, what now?
- 16:41Speaker 11: Reading love? And he said love and happen. And then
- 16:44Speaker 11: he said, wait a minute, but wait a.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Minute, start right there, start right star right there. He
- 16:51Speaker 3: actually said wait. The word wait is when you're hollering
- 16:59Speaker 3: across a canyon and you.
- 17:02Speaker 8: Saying it's too much waiting.
- 17:04Speaker 11: Hell, Ree, he said something's going wrong. Someone's on the phone,
- 17:14Speaker 11: three o'clock in the morning.

- 17:48Speaker 11: Yeah, talking about how she can make it right? Stop
- 17:53Speaker 11: right here, Yeah.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Lord mercy, that's why she's talking about. I've heard her
- 17:59Speaker 7: say that she can make it right.
- 18:03Speaker 3: That's what she says. So we about to find out.
- 18:07Speaker 11: Ree, it says, well, happiness is when you really feel
- 18:14Speaker 11: good about somebody.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Stop right there. Happiness when you feel good about somebody, and.
- 18:21Speaker 11: Then there's nothing wrong being in love with someone.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Stop right there. Ain't not wrong.
- 18:33Speaker 7: You got to be in love with somebody. Yeah, do
- 18:37Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. You just get to the
- 18:40Speaker 7: point where more.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Than one somebody read.
- 18:44Speaker 11: And then he goes on past it where the old
- 18:45Speaker 11: baby loved and happiness and then love and happy nest
- 18:50Speaker 11: you out loud and happiness.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Stop right there. It's just a lot of love and happiting.
- 18:56Speaker 7: Ain't nobody got to the point of no return. Ain't
- 19:00Speaker 7: nobody at this point talked about giving up?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Or this relationship is obviously.
- 19:07Speaker 7: Braining new where it's nothing but love and happiness.
- 19:13Speaker 3: But they're gonna come a.
- 19:14Speaker 7: Time where this relationship is gonna waf thing whereever.
- 19:20Speaker 3: Right here're gonna have to probably read.
- 19:25Speaker 11: It say if you'll be good to me and I'll
- 19:29Speaker 11: be good to you, stop right there.
- 19:32Speaker 3: That's how it go, and say an exchange, you do
- 19:35Speaker 3: me ill? Do you read we'll be together?
- 19:39Speaker 11: Yeah, well, well i'll see we'll see each.
- 19:43Speaker 3: Other walk away with victory stop right there.
- 19:49Speaker 7: Or that he's trying to turn this into a win
- 19:52Speaker 7: win Where then God to the point where you'll be
- 19:56Speaker 7: good to me and we'll walk away with a victory.
- 20:01Speaker 7: And that ain't howd normally go. But that's what brother
- 20:05Speaker 7: green or read and right here passes. It's the way
- 20:09Speaker 7: it gets into it. He says, make you do right,
- 20:12Speaker 7: he love, or make you do wrong.
- 20:16Speaker 11: It'll make you come home early and make you stay
- 20:21Speaker 11: all night long.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Stop right there.
- 20:23Speaker 7: Yeah, yes, I think we've gotten down to what it
- 20:27Speaker 7: is now.
- 20:28Speaker 3: That's right, that's what just love, and that you're doing
- 20:31Speaker 3: is outside or your home.

- 20:46Speaker 3: Night long, All night long is the one that gets

- 20:55Speaker 3: That's looking for you anyway.
- 20:57Speaker 7: But when you stay out all night long and the

- 22:32Speaker 8: Steve Harvey. This is from Miles in Newark. Miles writes,
- 22:37Speaker 8: I'm thirty seven and just ended a long term relationship
- 22:40Speaker 8: because my girlfriend cheated on me. We're still friends and
- 22:44Speaker 8: I am trying to move on, but she keeps calling
- 22:47Speaker 8: me and asking me to give her another chance. I
- 22:51Speaker 8: love her, but is she worth another try?
- 22:54Speaker 1: Wow?
- 22:54Speaker 3: See? Love would usually I can't do it? Yeah, and
- 23:01Speaker 3: I'm not wanted a man, so I can't do it?
- 23:05Speaker 8: Okay because she cheated?
- 23:07Speaker 3: Well, I mean you know.
- 23:08Speaker 7: Look, it's like this though. It's a difference. Man, It's
- 23:13Speaker 7: just a difference. It's a double standard.
- 23:15Speaker 8: It is.
- 23:16Speaker 7: It's a difference. It's a double standard. And that's a
- 23:22Speaker 7: hall one.
- 23:24Speaker 3: It's all.
- 23:29Speaker 8: Naked with somebody, but usually it's the other way around.
- 23:37Speaker 8: A woman takes the man back a lot of times,
- 23:42Speaker 8: a lot of women are yeah, the men will not. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 23:48Speaker 8: It is a double standard.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Sure, and that's it. Look at them, Look at the
- 23:54Speaker 1: man on the show.
- 23:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it is what it is. He thirty seven.
- 24:00Speaker 7: Time to move on because you can find somebody ain't
- 24:02Speaker 7: gonna do that to you.
- 24:04Speaker 2: M hmm.
- 24:06Speaker 8: But why is why do you want her to take
- 24:08Speaker 8: you back if you've cheated?
- 24:10Speaker 1: Because the same kind of pop and we can find somebody.
- 24:13Speaker 3: Else to as we're always having this one.
- 24:15Speaker 8: Discussion, because this one that will never go where.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Every other week we hear this right here.
- 24:23Speaker 8: Okay, well answer the question, though, don't don't answer, can
- 24:27Speaker 8: you answer it? Just go by the rules.
- 24:31Speaker 3: You don't make me what the rules is for the
- 24:34Speaker 3: layer of the land.
- 24:35Speaker 11: I just tried to ask a whole bunch of questions
- 24:39Speaker 11: that I don't understand, but I don't want.
- 24:41Speaker 3: To hear it.
- 24:44Speaker 11: I can how many people, how many people in the
- 24:47Speaker 11: Bible Shirley had five six wives?
- 24:49Speaker 3: How many of them had five?
- 24:50Speaker 8: But it was okay. I mean, look at King Solomon,
- 24:53Speaker 8: it was okay back in the day.
- 24:54Speaker 11: You go ahead out, I got five, six, steven wives
- 24:57Speaker 11: over there. But when we came over here, how come
- 25:00Speaker 11: we didn't bring that with us? How come we left
- 25:01Speaker 11: that over there?
- 25:02Speaker 8: And how come women can't have more than one husband?
- 25:05Speaker 7: I met a guy in air. I met a guy
- 25:09Speaker 7: in Africa that had five wives, and I met her
- 25:11Speaker 7: five wives. I'll send there the whole time, going just
- 25:15Speaker 7: to five. You picked you know what?
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm sure, all right?
- 25:24Speaker 3: Five cracks at it, and this is what you came up.
- 25:27Speaker 8: We're out of this one. Moving on to tank Tink
- 25:31Speaker 8: tink in Pensacola. We have we have since left that one,
- 25:38Speaker 8: all right, Tink and Pensacola rights. I dressed very conservatively usually,
- 25:43Speaker 8: but I was rushing to church and I wore a
- 25:45Speaker 8: low cut blouse. My aunt saw it and said that
- 25:48Speaker 8: I should go change. I'm fifty one and married. She's
- 25:51Speaker 8: sixty six and a side chick. Can I tell her
- 25:54Speaker 8: about herself? Or should I continue to be respectful.
- 25:58Speaker 3: I'll just continue to be respectful. But she's sixty six
- 26:01Speaker 3: at the side. Chick, go home and change for what?
- 26:06Speaker 3: You know what they wear to church?
- 26:07Speaker 9: Now?
- 26:07Speaker 7: Did you see Tamar singing gospel? Will Kirk Franklin B
- 26:11Speaker 7: two was had low cut, short split everything?
- 26:16Speaker 10: Yeah, don't judge me.
- 26:22Speaker 11: Sad, yeah, yeah, it ain't no chick. That's a turkey,
- 26:29Speaker 11: that's a yeah Jesus geese.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, sad, sad?
- 26:41Speaker 1: Oh goodness, all right?
- 26:45Speaker 3: That sad and hanging off your neck? Everything all right.
- 26:54Speaker 8: Moving on to Jamie and Dover, Jamie writes, I've been
- 26:57Speaker 8: married seventeen years and my wife starts it's sleeping naked.
- 27:02Speaker 8: I don't like it. It doesn't seem clean. I am
- 27:05Speaker 8: a neat freak, So I've been changing the sheets more often.
- 27:09Speaker 8: How do I get her to at least wear panties
- 27:11Speaker 8: to bed? Is that too much to.
- 27:14Speaker 3: What you're.
- 27:16Speaker 2: What?
- 27:17Speaker 3: You're just stupidest had boyd is created? How can I
- 27:33Speaker 3: get at least our wearing penny?
- 27:36Speaker 1: What's not about that?
- 27:38Speaker 3: If she's going.
- 27:41Speaker 8: Yeah, you said.
- 27:45Speaker 3: You don't need no way.
- 27:46Speaker 7: You've got some issues, dog, you need you need counseling.
- 27:51Speaker 8: Oh now you recommend now because he doesn't want his
- 27:54Speaker 8: wife naked.
- 27:56Speaker 3: You don't want naked woman. You don't want that I
- 27:59Speaker 3: have her. She's trying to figure out who. Come on,
- 28:03Speaker 3: I'm gonna.
- 28:04Speaker 7: Take it that she's gonna climb in this bed nicked
- 28:09Speaker 7: with some panties.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Her pajamas at like mine. Crazy man? You know how
- 28:18Speaker 3: fast I see you coming to the bed, nigga?
- 28:20Speaker 7: You know how fan when you burn the time you
- 28:22Speaker 7: get the covers back, I'm already nicked.
- 28:27Speaker 3: You ain't got to wait on me.
- 28:30Speaker 11: Bro.
- 28:30Speaker 9: If I fall.
- 28:30Speaker 7: Asleep with a hoodie sat on and I see you
- 28:33Speaker 7: coming to the bed nicked by the time you put
- 28:35Speaker 7: your foot up on that bed, by the time you
- 28:37Speaker 7: pull them covers up, you roll over, kiss me good night.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I'm naked too.
- 28:44Speaker 8: Hey baby, all right, So he's saying, isn't too much sass?
- 28:50Speaker 8: So you're you're not even doing too much? Yeah, come on,
- 28:54Speaker 8: come on stupid, all right? Last one, Last one, Celo.
- 28:57Speaker 8: This is from Mika and Sacramento. Mika says, I've got
- 29:00Speaker 8: two guys that are interested in me, but I'm not
- 29:03Speaker 8: over my ex yet. Is it best to date someone
- 29:07Speaker 8: to move on or is it unfair to waste another
- 29:10Speaker 8: man's time. She needs some advice, she says, please advice.
- 29:13Speaker 7: Of course, it's unfair to waste their time. Of course
- 29:17Speaker 7: it's unfair.
- 29:18Speaker 3: And how you ain't.
- 29:19Speaker 7: Over him yet? What what you hanging on for? He don't,
- 29:23Speaker 7: won't you?
- 29:24Speaker 3: You're gone? That part? Yeah, promise you.
- 29:28Speaker 8: He over you and under somebody else.
- 29:32Speaker 3: He said, no where worrying about you?
- 29:37Speaker 7: He didne got over you with another you.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Oh that part?
- 29:43Speaker 7: Yeah, So you need to pull yourself together, young lady.
- 29:48Speaker 8: Okay and move on. You're telling her to move on.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Too, basically, yeah, I mean he gone.
- 29:56Speaker 8: Yeah, he's out.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Okay, what's just worried about the other? Guys?
- 30:04Speaker 7: Hold it all to different loves gold.
- 30:10Speaker 8: You're still watching a burcue video at Johnny Gills house,
- 30:13Speaker 8: aren't you?
- 30:18Speaker 1: All right?
- 30:18Speaker 9: Guys?
- 30:18Speaker 8: So you're just saying just move on like he did,
- 30:22Speaker 8: he's over used, get over him?
- 30:24Speaker 9: All right?
- 30:25Speaker 8: Thank you, Collo. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:28Speaker 8: we will have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:31Speaker 8: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. Well. Saturday was deemed as
- 30:40Speaker 8: Barack Obama Appreciation Day, and it went viral on social media.
- 30:45Speaker 8: The purpose was to flood social media with positive images
- 30:48Speaker 8: of former President Barack Obama and reflect on a time
- 30:52Speaker 8: when we respected the office of the president. Barack Obama
- 30:56Speaker 8: Appreciation Day happened to fall on the same day as
- 30:59Speaker 8: Trump's seventy ninth birthday. So here's a question. Did you
- 31:02Speaker 8: guys participate? I didn't.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Well, let me say it is Barack Obama Appreciation Day
- 31:08Speaker 6: is every day.
- 31:09Speaker 8: Yeah, now especially every day. Oh my goodness, it's just
- 31:16Speaker 8: too much going on. It's a mess right now. It
- 31:19Speaker 8: is a mess with ice and with all all this stuff.
- 31:23Speaker 8: It's is it America?
- 31:26Speaker 3: Really? Yeah?
- 31:29Speaker 8: And sometimes speaking of President Trump, as his disastrous military
- 31:35Speaker 8: parade for his seventy ninth birthday went as scheduled, it
- 31:38Speaker 8: did not draw out a major crowd as he has
- 31:41Speaker 8: hoped for, and it reportedly wasted up to forty five
- 31:44Speaker 8: million dollars. But even if it didn't, he's gonna say
- 31:47Speaker 8: it was anyway.
- 31:48Speaker 3: I saw, I saw, I know, I saw eighty nine people.
- 31:52Speaker 8: Yes, that's easy to count on the ground.
- 31:57Speaker 3: I saw eighty nine people, and that scattered, and I counted.
- 32:00Speaker 3: I'm just kidding.
- 32:01Speaker 1: You double checked yourself, double checked.
- 32:04Speaker 3: It might have been ninety, but I'm sure I'm right
- 32:07Speaker 3: on with eighty nine of.
- 32:08Speaker 8: What I started in ninety Trump and his officials stood
- 32:12Speaker 8: on stage at the National Mall while US troops marched
- 32:16Speaker 8: on foot, on horseback and rode by in tanks. Okay, really,
- 32:25Speaker 8: that's why we had no King's Day. Okay, this is why. Meanwhile,
- 32:30Speaker 8: in all fifty states, thousands of protesters participated in No
- 32:33Speaker 8: King's rallies were aimed at rejecting authoritarianism, billionaire first politics,
- 32:40Speaker 8: and the militarization of our democracy. The rallies number of
- 32:44Speaker 8: protests superseded the number of attendees for Trump's birthday parade
- 32:48Speaker 8: in DC. And we just heard that Tommy said he
- 32:51Speaker 8: counted eighty nine.
- 32:53Speaker 3: Eighty nine.
- 32:53Speaker 11: I could be wrong, it could be ninety, but I'm
- 32:55Speaker 11: not telling you eighty nine is what our count. I'm
- 32:58Speaker 11: not counting the people that's all in the tanks up
- 33:00Speaker 11: that's working. I'm talking about the people that came out
- 33:02Speaker 11: to participate for the party.
- 33:04Speaker 3: I count eighty nine people. All right.
- 33:08Speaker 11: If you were there and I didn't count you, and
- 33:10Speaker 11: you're thinking I'm not counting you, cool you ninety all right,
- 33:13Speaker 11: that's it.
- 33:15Speaker 1: We've round up.
- 33:16Speaker 10: Yeah, that's nothing, right, bleaches, those bleachers was just empty.
- 33:22Speaker 1: It was empty.
- 33:23Speaker 8: Yeah, and this goes forty five million dollars. Let's not
- 33:26Speaker 8: forget that. Okay, forty five million dollars.
- 33:30Speaker 11: Just hurt, bleach, just hurt when you buy yourself sitting
- 33:33Speaker 11: on I don't know if you know that.
- 33:35Speaker 3: They don't hurt that bad.
- 33:36Speaker 11: When it's a game going, it's some excitement and enthusiasm.
- 33:39Speaker 11: But when it's nothing happening, a bleacher will start weighing
- 33:42Speaker 11: you down.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I just want you to know, you'd.
- 33:44Speaker 1: Be like, come sit by me, scoot down. I wipe
- 33:48Speaker 1: this part off.
- 33:49Speaker 8: I know it's a little wet from the rain. It's
- 33:53Speaker 8: also unbelievable what's going on in Los Angeles. As you know,
- 33:58Speaker 8: the National Guard was deployed in the Los Angeles area
- 34:01Speaker 8: to intimidate thousands of protesters that spoke out against the
- 34:04Speaker 8: massive ice immigration sweeps. So it's a mess right now
- 34:09Speaker 8: in this country.
- 34:10Speaker 1: It is truly a mess.
- 34:11Speaker 6: I mean the army parade this passed saturday in Keim
- 34:17Speaker 6: Chung Un.
- 34:18Speaker 1: You're right in DC.
- 34:20Speaker 6: Yeah, it gave you dictatorship by but but you want
- 34:24Speaker 6: to salute our veterans because here's the issue that I have.
- 34:28Speaker 6: You want to have this parade and forty five million dollars.
- 34:30Speaker 6: But then you, you and your boy must cut benefits
- 34:34Speaker 6: for veterans and all.
- 34:36Speaker 3: I don't even know how.
- 34:38Speaker 8: And then they got into a beef. And now right,
- 34:41Speaker 8: it looks like this too much. Okay, it's too much.
- 34:44Speaker 8: If you were really really invested in it, it caused
- 34:47Speaker 8: major it could cause major stress, major stress. All right,
- 34:51Speaker 8: this is craziness right here. Forty five million dollars for this.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Yeah, what were you saying, Tommy?
- 34:57Speaker 11: I was just saying that, you know, you're cutting, you
- 34:59Speaker 11: cutting from military. But then military actually has to show
- 35:02Speaker 11: up and still do their job. They count in the
- 35:04Speaker 11: tight situation at the same time, you know what I mean.
- 35:07Speaker 8: Yeah, not their job. And this is not their job.
- 35:10Speaker 8: Our job is to protect the country, you know, and
- 35:13Speaker 8: all of that stuff and the people in it. This
- 35:15Speaker 8: is not their job to give you a parade for
- 35:18Speaker 8: your birthday so you could look like a dictator.
- 35:21Speaker 6: The military is in the middle of this politics. You're
- 35:26Speaker 6: putting our armed services in the middle of your political
- 35:30Speaker 6: wishes and wants and drama. And it's cost then, yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 6: it's causing the American people. We're all confused, scratching our
- 35:41Speaker 6: head and you want to take away democracy.
- 35:43Speaker 1: You're sitting in a national guarden on Americans.
- 35:46Speaker 8: Americans that's not their job, not.
- 35:51Speaker 6: The MA Marines, and on American citizens for their freedom
- 35:58Speaker 6: to protest.
- 35:59Speaker 1: The right to protest.
- 36:01Speaker 8: I don't that is definitely all right according to the Now.
- 36:05Speaker 11: You know who walking in celebration this week and gonna
- 36:07Speaker 11: have plenty of folks. Then you know where they're gonna
- 36:09Speaker 11: be at where Miss open Lee's annual June.
- 36:13Speaker 3: Team walking down.
- 36:15Speaker 11: Come on, you better come out missus open Lee's Annual

- 36:37Speaker 11: Trust me. I promise Time is gonna be leading the pack.

- 36:45Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 36:47Speaker 1: I like the time.
- 36:48Speaker 4: I like it.
- 36:50Speaker 10: Why did it like some of the soldiers didn't want
- 36:52Speaker 10: to march. I think they were just walking.
- 36:53Speaker 1: It wasn't even marching, like they.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Were just walking.
- 36:57Speaker 1: They want Yeah, that's not what.
- 36:59Speaker 8: We supposed to be.
- 37:00Speaker 3: What we're supposed to be. Well, yeah, you can tell
- 37:04Speaker 3: when they look unmarchable, you know.
- 37:08Speaker 8: All right, guys coming up at twenty minutes after. The
- 37:11Speaker 8: daddy do over is gaining popularity as more men are
- 37:15Speaker 8: getting plastic surgery. What we'll talk about that right after this.
- 37:19Speaker 8: What you're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show. You've heard us
- 37:28Speaker 8: talk about the benefits of Globe Life insurance. Globe Life

- 38:06Speaker 8: your kids to chip in on a daddy do over. Now,
- 38:11Speaker 8: what does a daddy do over? You ask, Well, it's
- 38:13Speaker 8: like a mommy makeover. Okay, it's surgery, but it's for dad.
- 38:20Speaker 8: But it's for dad's Okay, who.
- 38:25Speaker 3: For daddy?
- 38:26Speaker 8: Chip in? It depends on how many.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Kids you have.
- 38:29Speaker 8: You you know your dad as the dad. You give
- 38:32Speaker 8: your kids money to buy your gift and you know
- 38:34Speaker 8: that it's over.
- 38:36Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, surgery my eyebrows, Chippy, any pay for.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Your bus day? Ain't no way.
- 38:49Speaker 10: They doing nothing on his body.
- 38:54Speaker 8: So again the daddy do over. It's like the mommy
- 38:56Speaker 8: makeover and surgery for dads. According to the American Society
- 38:59Speaker 8: of Plastic Surgeons, close to one and a half million
- 39:03Speaker 8: cosmetic procedures were done on men last year. Now I
- 39:07Speaker 8: didn't know a big number. Yeah, that's a huge number. Yeah.
- 39:11Speaker 8: The surgical and non surgical procedures included body conjuring, facial
- 39:16Speaker 8: enhancements to improve the physique.
- 39:19Speaker 11: And.
- 39:21Speaker 8: They help dads overcome the dad bod. Look you know
- 39:24Speaker 8: how guys have that dad bod around the Yeah, around
- 39:27Speaker 8: that middle area.
- 39:29Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 39:30Speaker 8: Reportedly, daddy doovers have become a common Father's Day request.
- 39:35Speaker 8: So now, if you guys could have cosmetic surgery, any
- 39:40Speaker 8: kind of procedure done, what would you do to improve
- 39:43Speaker 8: or enhance your body or your face? What would you do?
- 39:45Speaker 11: And you always some of my butt too high? I
- 39:48Speaker 11: would probably lower my butt. I dropped my butt BB.
- 39:53Speaker 11: Is that what it is? I don't want to BB.
- 39:55Speaker 11: I just want to lower it. I mean, can I
- 39:57Speaker 11: drop it? How you drop it?
- 39:58Speaker 1: People pay good money for high butts?
- 40:00Speaker 8: Now, Tommy, though.
- 40:02Speaker 11: High bust is in so keep it looks like it
- 40:06Speaker 11: looks like crazy the way you walk.
- 40:12Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 40:13Speaker 8: I don't know, because that's all it looks like all
- 40:15Speaker 8: muscle up there for you, tom it's all muscle.

- 56:52Speaker 8: Stephen Shirley, My husband and I have been together for
- 56:55Speaker 8: two years and we've been married for six months. I'm
- 56:58Speaker 8: twenty eight and he's three years younger than I am.
- 57:01Speaker 8: I have a seven year old son from a previous relationship,
- 57:04Speaker 8: and my husband loves him to death. I started having
- 57:07Speaker 8: sex when I was in middle school, and by the
- 57:10Speaker 8: time I was a senior in high school, I was
- 57:12Speaker 8: running with a crew of girls and working as an
- 57:15Speaker 8: escort for older men. I loved sex and couldn't get
- 57:19Speaker 8: enough of it. I'm way more advanced sexually than my
- 57:22Speaker 8: husband because of past encounters with older men. After I
- 57:26Speaker 8: had my son, I stopped partying and tried to make
- 57:29Speaker 8: things work with my son's father. He soon found out
- 57:32Speaker 8: about my reputation and he dumped me. I joined a church,
- 57:37Speaker 8: and I guess you could say I got saved. I
- 57:40Speaker 8: met my new husband at church, and I played the
- 57:42Speaker 8: wholesome role the whole time we dated, and I even
- 57:46Speaker 8: abstained from having sex with him until we got married.
- 57:50Speaker 8: My problem is there's no way for me to suppress
- 57:54Speaker 8: the fire that's deep inside my soul. I love sex
- 57:58Speaker 8: and everything about it. I've tried to ease my husband
- 58:01Speaker 8: into my world gradually, and he says, each time we
- 58:05Speaker 8: make love, it gets better and better. I was honest
- 58:09Speaker 8: about my past, well, not totally honest about the number
- 58:13Speaker 8: of men I've been with or about my bad reputation.
- 58:16Speaker 8: I told him I learned a lot from an older
- 58:19Speaker 8: man I was dating. He says he loves the kinky
- 58:22Speaker 8: things I do to him, but the other night he
- 58:25Speaker 8: got offended and asked me to stop doing what I
- 58:28Speaker 8: was doing. This is a problem for me because I
- 58:32Speaker 8: need him to match my freakiness in the bedroom and
- 58:35Speaker 8: he's reluctant to go all in with me. How far
- 58:39Speaker 8: is too far with my new husband? Please advise, Well,
- 58:43Speaker 8: too far with the other person is whatever they say
- 58:49Speaker 8: is too far? Okay, If your husband is uncomfortable and
- 58:53Speaker 8: turned off, it's time to stop. I mean, you're too
- 58:56Speaker 8: much for him right now. And whatever freaky, offensive thing
- 58:59Speaker 8: you did for him to him, he is not feeling
- 59:02Speaker 8: it at all. You don't have to do or you
- 59:05Speaker 8: don't have to show him everything you've ever done in
- 59:07Speaker 8: the bedroom. We get it. You love sex, we get it.
- 59:10Speaker 8: We get it. You guys can still have fun enjoy
- 59:13Speaker 8: each other. But you've got so much experience in him,
- 59:15Speaker 8: like you said, so don't expect that he's ever going
- 59:19Speaker 8: to match your freakiness. That may never happen. I say,
- 59:24Speaker 8: take it slow. You got to really take it slow
- 59:26Speaker 8: with your husband. I mean, I know you said, you
- 59:29Speaker 8: know every time you guys make love it gets better
- 59:31Speaker 8: and better. But whatever you did he didn't like. He
- 59:35Speaker 8: didn't like that at all. I don't think you need
- 59:38Speaker 8: to do everything or show him everything, or tell him
- 59:40Speaker 8: how many men you've been within the past and all that.
- 59:43Speaker 8: You don't have to do that. You have plenty of time.
- 59:46Speaker 8: You know in this marriage, you guys are so young
- 59:49Speaker 8: to swing from the chandeliers later. But stop doing what
- 59:54Speaker 8: you're doing because it's turning your man off, and that's
- 59:57Speaker 8: going to be a problem in your marriage if you don't.
- 1:00:00Speaker 7: Steve, I don't know how to answer this letter because.
- 1:00:06Speaker 3: You know what she did.
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: I have some questions about what she's doing and what
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: she's done, and then I think I have a solution.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: I'm not really sure how to do this letter. I
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: can't solve your problem. Let me just start by telling
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: you that I've read the letter. I've heard Shirley's response.
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: I don't really have anything for you except one thing,
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: and I'll probably wait till the second half of this
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: letter to give it to you.
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: But just let me tell you something.
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: Your past has caught up with you.
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: You've been having sex since you was in middle school.
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: Now you got a three year old son by your
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: former guy that you were dating. When he found out
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: about your past, he dumped you. You got a seven
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: year old son that you had from a year relationship
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: with a man before and after he found out about
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: your reputation and everything, he dumped you. You try to
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: make it work, you stop partying and stuff. But once
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: he found out about your reputation, he dumped jumping. Then
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: you joined the church, and I guess you could say
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: I got saved. Well, see, that's a little shaky thing
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: to say. I guess you could say I got saved. No,
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: you have to tell us if you got saved or not.
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: If you're not saved, it's no problem. Most people aren't.
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: That's not a problem. You can still be okay, But
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: you have to tell us that now. No, we ain't
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: got to guess you saved and nothing. Then you met
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: your new husband at church, and you played the wholesome
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: role the whole time you dated, and you even sustained
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: from having sex with him until we got married. I
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: don't know how I married you, but I don't know
- 1:01:43Speaker 7: what y'all did somehow. Anyway, my problem is there's no
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: way for me to suppress the fire that's deep in
- 1:01:49Speaker 7: my soul. I love sex and everything about it, you know.
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: And then you said I've tried to ease my husband
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: into my world gradually, and he says, each time we
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: make love it gets better. I don't know what to
- 1:02:05Speaker 7: do it. I think you got to stop easing him
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: into it. You're just gonna have to go for it.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: But you got him problem because you're not You've been
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: honest about your past, but not totally honest about the
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: number of men I've been with or about my bad reputation.
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: I don't think you need to bring that up. Leave
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: that in your past, young lady. I told him I've
- 1:02:22Speaker 7: learned a lot from an older man I was dating.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: He says he loves the kiki things I do to him.
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: But the other night, here we go with the whole letter,
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: he got offended and asked me to stop doing what
- 1:02:32Speaker 7: I was doing. That's the part of this letter we
- 1:02:35Speaker 7: got to get to. And this is the problem with
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: me because I need him to match my freakingness in
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: the bed room and he's reluctant to go all in
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: with me? How far is too far with my new husband?
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: Please advice when I come back. Ah boy, I give
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: you a list of things that I think is too far. Okay,
- 1:02:55Speaker 7: that's all I can help you with. I don't know
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: what you're doing, but we come back. I do know
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: what too far is.
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: Yeah, it's whatever you say. It is, all right, heart.
- 1:03:06Speaker 8: Two of Steve's response is coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: minutes after today's Strawberry letter subject how far is too
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: far with my man?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this.

- 1:03:53Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: H this is a freaky one right here. The subject
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: is how far is far with my man?
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: Well, this girl who's twenty eight, it's got this man
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: that's three years younger. She's got a seven year old
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: son from a previous relationship, and.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: The husband loves the little boy.
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: She admitted that she started having sex when she was
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: in middle school and started running with the crew of girls.
- 1:04:21Speaker 7: By the time she was in high school, there was
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: an escort for older men.
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: She said, I love sex and I couldn't get enough
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: of it.
- 1:04:27Speaker 7: I'm way more advanced sexually than my husband because of
- 1:04:31Speaker 7: my past encounters with older men.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: Lord have mercy this story. It is getting more troublesome.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: Then, after she had her son, she stopped partying and
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: tried to make things work with your son's father.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: He soon found out about your reputation. He cut you loose.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: So after that she joined the church and say she
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: got saved, and she met her new husband at the
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: church and played the.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: Wholesome rub rolled the whole time.
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: And they they didn't even abstained from having sex with
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: him until we got married. You did something to make
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: you want to marry you, so probably didn't go all
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: the way, but you learned enough stuff to it.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: He wanted to marry you. Congratulations.
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: The problem is there's no way for me to suppress
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: the fire that's deep in my soul. This woman loves
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: sex so much, and she's tried to ease her husband
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: into my world. Sometimes you need to leave your worlds behind.
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: But now you want to drag him into it, he says.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: Each time we make love, it gets better and better.
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: See now, you didn't ease him into it now, But
- 1:05:33Speaker 7: then you said you were honest about your past, not
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: totally honest with the number of men you've been with.
- 1:05:38Speaker 7: Don't ever tell him that, and don't tell him about
- 1:05:41Speaker 7: your bad reputation. Don't tell him that. I told him
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: I learned a lot from an older man I was dating.
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: He says, he loves the kinky things I do to him.
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: Here's what this letter is about. But the other night
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: he got offended and asked me to stop doing what
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: I was doing. This is a problem for me because
- 1:06:02Speaker 7: I need him to match my freakingness, which may not
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: be possible.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: You've been with men since middle school.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: This boy right now is three years younger than you.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: You twenty eight, he twenty five. You're taking him too fast.
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: He asked you the other night to stop doing something
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: that you was doing. That's a problem for you because
- 1:06:28Speaker 7: you need him to match your freakingness in the bedroom
- 1:06:31Speaker 7: and he's reluctant to go all in with me. How
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: far is too far with my new husband? Please advise?
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: This is all Uncle Steve's got for you. I'm going
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: to give you a short list of things that we
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: probably don't like.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: That's too far.
- 1:06:51Speaker 7: Leave them tools in the toolbox, go outside in the garage,
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: coming in here with nothing. Don't do that that little
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: red box. Leave that thing shut. That's probably gonna be
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: too far. You know, there's other things I need to know.
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: Need to know this right here. None of my openings, okay.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: It's to be open. Hello.
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: I just need you to know that none of my openings, yes,
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: needs to be open.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Don't do that too far, too far. I'm just going.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: I'm just telling you what we don't need. I just
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: you know. Here'sn't something else? Stop asking me.
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: No, I cannot lick my own toes. I can't do
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: that no more.
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: I'm sixty five. If I could be in my foot
- 1:07:49Speaker 7: up that far, it be a miracle. Nah, I can't
- 1:07:53Speaker 7: do that. Quit asking me. I tell you something else
- 1:07:57Speaker 7: that too far. Nah, I don't want to be choked
- 1:08:01Speaker 7: quep asking me. Don't ask me to be choked, and
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: stop asking me.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: To choke you.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: I don't like your eyes bugging out your head like
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: that and scare me.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: Stop talking to me about getting choked. Please cut your
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: fringer nails. This is too much. That's something else if
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: I'm gonna tell you something else I don't like. I
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: don't like whip marks. Stop doing that to me. I
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: do not like whip marks. Come on now, I've been
- 1:08:37Speaker 7: in here with you, but you're going too far. Now,
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: who wash all this here? This is not fun. I
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: don't like that. Stop that hurts. I want you to
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: stop what you're doing. Another thing right here? Your tongue
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: is too long. I I don't know what I was
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: gonna took me how long?
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Say this to you? But your problem is too Yes,
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: it is.
- 1:09:03Speaker 9: That.
- 1:09:03Speaker 7: This goes back to some things I said earlier. But
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: your tongue is too long and naw, I can't walk
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: in yours to lettos.
- 1:09:12Speaker 3: Stop strapping them on.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: My feet and broke two pair of heel Stop asking
- 1:09:20Speaker 7: me that I am going to tell you that. Listen
- 1:09:23Speaker 7: to me. I'm just gonna tell you this. Listen to me, baby,
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: not dude, you going too far. My fist is just
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: for fight, that's all this fault. My fist. My fist
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: is just for fight. Okay, all these things up and
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: I thought these hands Jesus.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: Just for fight.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: We get it, you know.
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: And I want one last thing before you go. Come on,
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: quit biting me everywhere.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: I don't like all that, yo, not everywhere.

- 1:11:03Speaker 10: just had to sit around and just what did you
- 1:11:05Speaker 10: did you watch any sports on Sunday yesterday time? Did
- 1:11:08Speaker 10: you just watch anything?
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: No? I passed through. I saw him.
- 1:11:10Speaker 11: They was playing baseball a little bit, and then I
- 1:11:13Speaker 11: kept going and somebody was playing corn hole, and then
- 1:11:17Speaker 11: I just got t Yeah, but it just it don't
- 1:11:20Speaker 11: hold you that long, caller.
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: So there was a pickleball tournament on I saw that.
- 1:11:26Speaker 10: I saw that girl who laughs, shirt. The pickle ball
- 1:11:29Speaker 10: is picking up around here, picking up, it's picking up,
- 1:11:33Speaker 10: it's picking up.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Yeah, we didn't get.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: So on Friday, the thunder did beat the Pacers at
- 1:11:42Speaker 10: home one eleven to one O four. Now of series
- 1:11:45Speaker 10: is tied at too too, and then tonight we have
- 1:11:48Speaker 10: Game five.
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: It's like the best of the night.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Oh, I'm on the thunder time right now.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 1:11:54Speaker 10: I've never said nothing about the Pacers. I'm on the
- 1:11:56Speaker 10: thunder side because I told you I was gonna win
- 1:11:58Speaker 10: this series. I'm on the because I said it was
- 1:12:01Speaker 10: gonna win. That's what I said. You know so, But when.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: They was up? When when when Indiana was up, you
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: was with them? You know that? Who and who was
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: you was?
- 1:12:12Speaker 10: I have never said nothing about any other being up
- 1:12:14Speaker 10: and I was with them. I said, I'm with the
- 1:12:16Speaker 10: Thunder because the Thunder just won one of lifting one
- 1:12:18Speaker 10: on four Friday. Y'all didn't hear me say nothing about
- 1:12:21Speaker 10: being on the Paces?
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: Committed to this?
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Tommy, I'm with you.
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: What did you say, Junior that made me say you
- 1:12:32Speaker 6: are a fair weather fan?
- 1:12:33Speaker 11: Because he said if if such and such win that
- 1:12:36Speaker 11: I'm over there with them. I'm not gonna stay with nobody,
- 1:12:40Speaker 11: no boy.
- 1:12:40Speaker 10: I said, chat whole room, Jayleen, Willie, I'm with I'm
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: with the Oklahoma City Thunder. I don't remember saying nothing
- 1:12:50Speaker 10: about the Paces. I would say something about the Paces

- 1:13:09Speaker 6: that he played.

- 1:13:16Speaker 3: Tyrese Halber?
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: Is that the dark skinned boy that want to be
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: down there fighting all time? I wouldn't know because he's

- 1:13:29Speaker 10: close this out. We take a three two lead, We
- 1:13:31Speaker 10: get this over this week.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: So it's best huh, Junior?
- 1:13:36Speaker 11: If I could throw this here, that's what I would
- 1:13:38Speaker 11: be doing on my anniversary night tonight watching the basketball game.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: All right, man, why are you happy about the anniversary tea?
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: Yes?
- 1:13:46Speaker 11: Yes, she said? It was okay? All right, years go ahead,
- 1:13:53Speaker 11: gone gone.
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: Want to have the anniversary Tommy Coming up next at
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: the top of the hour, a wife wants to be
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: in a beauty pageant despite her hubby's disapproval. We'll get
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: into it and talk about it right after this. You're
- 1:14:05Speaker 8: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This one is
- 1:14:12Speaker 8: from Belinda and Roanoke Steve. She says, I'm in a
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: beauty pageant for married women and my husband does not
- 1:14:19Speaker 8: support me. He said, it's thirst trapping, and I'm sure
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: his sister gave him that term because he isn't on
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: social media or anything. I have talent and I'm in
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: great shape for my age, so I want to showcase it.
- 1:14:32Speaker 8: It would mean the world to me if he would
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: support me, but he's affecting my self conscious Should I
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: even go through with this?
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: Wow? Well, you know, I don't know.
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: I mean, if you want to do it for yourself
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: but your husband ain't supporting you, why aren't you ask
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: him why he's not supporting you? And where did you
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: get that term from? Thirst trapping? Where that come from?
- 1:14:59Speaker 9: You know?
- 1:15:01Speaker 8: Yeah, his sister.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: It's a pageant, you know. So I don't know. I
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: can't help you. I don't know.
- 1:15:08Speaker 8: But I mean, do you think he should supporter Yes?
- 1:15:13Speaker 8: Do you think he should be there for her?
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: I mean I would.
- 1:15:15Speaker 7: I would support my wife. She ain't going out there
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: to meet me and she's just in a pageant. Yeah,
- 1:15:22Speaker 7: but you know her thing is. But now to read
- 1:15:26Speaker 7: her reasoning again for.
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: Well, because she's in great shape for her age, and
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: she wants to showcase it and she has no one.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:15:36Speaker 7: You see that first thing was I mean great shape
- 1:15:40Speaker 7: for my for my age, and I want to showcase.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: He said what he thought, He said what he thought.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: He tried to move past.
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: Stop right here. I tried to blow by.
- 1:15:57Speaker 8: Oh wetut that?
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Yeah, I got mine.
- 1:16:10Speaker 8: But yeah, you're right. He as her husband, he should
- 1:16:14Speaker 8: support her if that's something she period. Yeah, moving on,
- 1:16:20Speaker 8: moving on, because we do have time for another one.
- 1:16:24Speaker 8: This is from Marvin in the d m V. Marvin says,
- 1:16:27Speaker 8: my wife and I are the go to for our
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: family when they need money or to borrow things. My
- 1:16:33Speaker 8: brother in law asked to borrow a suit, and that's
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: where I draw the line. I told him I'd sell
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: him one of my older suits, and he asked me
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: why he couldn't just borrow it. It's always something with
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: my family and hers. We are not rich, but we
- 1:16:47Speaker 8: are doing good. How do we get our families to
- 1:16:50Speaker 8: stop leaning on us for everything?
- 1:16:53Speaker 7: Stop bending over? A good question stop stop bending over?
- 1:17:00Speaker 7: Is that they're riding your back because you've bent over?
- 1:17:04Speaker 7: Stand up, stop to say no, A man can't ride
- 1:17:08Speaker 7: your back unless you bend over. Just stand up. The
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: answer is no. Mm hmm, it's no.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: The word to get out. And you show ain't borrowing
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: this suit? Who borrow suits? Who do that?
- 1:17:23Speaker 7: A dude that's cheap, that don't want to spend no money.
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: I'm gonna use his. No, man, you're not using.
- 1:17:28Speaker 11: My suit, your uncle suit?
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: What are you talking about that?
- 1:17:34Speaker 11: Then we're talking about some thousands and thousands of dollars sus.
- 1:17:38Speaker 3: That's different to Temmy Tommy Tommy.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: That wasn't a thousand dollars suits thousands and thous That
- 1:17:46Speaker 7: was the suit you balled, was the one you could wear.
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: I had that to suit you balled. I had that
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: suit when I was nine.
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: You just kept it for.
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: It just looked nice, and you assume cause it was
- 1:18:02Speaker 7: mine it was a thousand, thousand dollars as was actually
- 1:18:05Speaker 7: forty nine dollars.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Let's see it what you want, seers. Yeah, why you
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: think that tag said husky on it? That's all?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Oh look at this.
- 1:18:20Speaker 8: It supposed to cost thousand dollars.
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: Voice.
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: I don't know where that came from, but yeah, so
- 1:18:30Speaker 8: that's what you're saying. Steele's just say no, they're not
- 1:18:34Speaker 8: gonna like that.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: I draw the line. You have to draw the line.
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: Yeah, people will ask you for stuff, will never stop.
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: They never stop. They just keep coming in waves and groves.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: You gotta say no, Yeah, they got it.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: They got it all right.
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: Coming up a twenty minutes after the hour, Thank you, guys.
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right

- 1:19:01Speaker 8: All right, So, Steve, your annual mentoring camp for young
- 1:19:04Speaker 8: men was this past weekend, this past Father's Day weekend.
- 1:19:08Speaker 8: Tell us some of the highlights of the weekend for you.
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: Great speakers, a lot of all. We have all male
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: speakers who have some great speakers for them. We took
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: a lot of the program outside. We teach team building.
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: It was just a great and this was really really
- 1:19:24Speaker 7: good group of young men. Oh good, because I just
- 1:19:28Speaker 7: came to it a new conclusion. I started. We sample
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: them three four times. We sample them three four times.
- 1:19:35Speaker 7: Anybody who doesn't really want to be here, raise your hand.
- 1:19:40Speaker 7: And I used to never do that, and what would
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: happen was it would be a few young boys who
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: didn't be there, creating a disturbance. And now we spending
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: so much time with them that we was losing time
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: with the boys. Now we have one hundred and fifty
- 1:19:56Speaker 7: boys who really want to be here, who really want
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: to come out of this thing as better men, who
- 1:20:02Speaker 7: really want to come out of this thing and make
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: their dreams come true. And that's what the principles of
- 1:20:07Speaker 7: my camp are. Now there's an educational component to it
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: if you want to go to school, because.
- 1:20:13Speaker 3: Man, I want to tell you something.
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: Gordon State stepped up and really helped out in a
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: major way. There's a college down here. It's an hour
- 1:20:21Speaker 7: and a half south of Atlanta called Gordon State.
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: Nineteen thousand dollars for four years.
- 1:20:27Speaker 8: Whoa, whoa four years.
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: Stay on campus and it's a really nice campus.

- 1:21:45Speaker 2: Boat?

- 1:22:50Speaker 10: He's dressed. Oh we're playing basketball? He is, but he
- 1:22:53Speaker 10: is designing everything for a basketball game. Now he is
- 1:22:56Speaker 10: the six.
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: Everything.
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: I mean, gee, what about your wealthiest man on the show?
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: Well, I'd rather be be And they changed my new
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: friend group to a Tyler Perry and robber ship.
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: All right, Uh, would you rather be called tiny Tim
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: or speedy Gonzales?
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna go let's talk to the two. Well, well,
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: let's go to these two right now.
- 1:23:33Speaker 11: To the person that wrote this particular one. Let's talk
- 1:23:36Speaker 11: to them.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: Yeah, how come I'm a speedy Gunzalees?
- 1:23:48Speaker 7: Or who?
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: Or tiny Tim? Tiny Tim? Would you rather be called? Hey,

- 1:24:15Speaker 1: Tommy.
- 1:24:15Speaker 7: I think I think y'all both of y'all is A

- 1:24:48Speaker 7: Probably because advanced tech doesn't always mean more space. Until

- 1:25:12Speaker 11: batteries for comparison purpose only. Actual range will vary based
- 1:25:15Speaker 11: on several factors.
- 1:25:16Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: the day. And uh, you know, it's been a good day.
- 1:25:23Speaker 8: It's been a good day. So Steve, you have some
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: clothing for us.
- 1:25:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:25:30Speaker 7: I was thinking of something the other day. I heard
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: something online and it really affected me profoundly, and it
- 1:25:42Speaker 7: made me sit down and ponder and really think of
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: the goodness of God and all that God has done
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: for me. And I think about my life, my legacy
- 1:25:55Speaker 7: that when my life is over, what I would like
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: to be said about me and I discoveries is not
- 1:26:01Speaker 7: about the comedy. It's not about the TV shows, the awards,
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: none of that's It's about much deeper. It's really about
- 1:26:10Speaker 7: what I'm hoping to accomplish from here on out. And
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: it's not about my shows or anything like that. It's
- 1:26:17Speaker 7: about the legacy. It's about trying to make an imprint
- 1:26:25Speaker 7: in the world in which.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: I live in.
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: And I'm not gonna change the world. I'm not that
- 1:26:30Speaker 7: egotistical that one man changes the world, because it has
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: to be a collective effort. It's a huge world. It's
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: eight billion people here. There's no one person that can
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: change the entire world. Jesus came to change and to save,
- 1:26:46Speaker 7: and he was sped upon and hung on the cross.
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: So but he had a lasting effect though, Oh my goodness,
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: that thirty three years he was here was, Oh my goodness,
- 1:26:58Speaker 7: what an impact he had. Nah, I'm not Christ let's
- 1:27:01Speaker 7: be clear about that. Nobody is. But I do want
- 1:27:05Speaker 7: to have an impact. And I was listening to somebody
- 1:27:10Speaker 7: online and they said, what makes this world great is
- 1:27:21Speaker 7: that when old men plant trees the shade in which
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: they will never sit in.
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: Good people do things for other people.
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: And I'm thinking about my life that I'm actually in
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: the process of planting trees.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: And the shade of which I will never sit in.
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: I won't get to sit under some of these trees
- 1:27:48Speaker 7: that I'm planting, but I want to plant them because
- 1:27:52Speaker 7: I want to do something for somebody coming behind me,
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: for my grandchildren, for other people's young men, for other
- 1:28:03Speaker 7: young people's children. And that's why I've gotten to in
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: my life. And that thing that I saw online, it
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: affected me so profoundly, man, And the.
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: Lady said, that's it, that's the end.
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: She said, A society grows great when old men plant
- 1:28:20Speaker 7: trees in the shade in which they know they will
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: never sit in. That's deep, man, that you can get
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: to that point. Now, I understand when you're younger that
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: that's not the mission, because you got to first get
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: yourself under a tree somewhere. You understand, the whole thing
- 1:28:39Speaker 7: in life is for somebody to create some shade for themselves.
- 1:28:43Speaker 7: No nobody wants to live under the blair of the
- 1:28:46Speaker 7: sun continuously, So you have to do that. When you're younger,
- 1:28:50Speaker 7: you're trying to you're trying to create a tree, man,
- 1:28:55Speaker 7: that you can get under the shade. You know, you
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: want to build a retirement plan for yourself so you
- 1:28:59Speaker 7: can get under the shade. But when that's done, what
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: you're gonna do. And I'm at that phase of my life, man,
- 1:29:06Speaker 7: Well hop God continues to give me grace and mercy
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: that will allow me to act the way I've been
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: acting and to be able to shine the way I've
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: been shining. And I want to keep planting trees of
- 1:29:19Speaker 7: which under the shade I know I will never sit,
- 1:29:23Speaker 7: but that somebody after me can enjoy the shade of
- 1:29:25Speaker 7: that tree. That's just being a good person, man, And
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: how good are you gonna be? I'm just asking the
- 1:29:34Speaker 7: question because we all have the ability to be good
- 1:29:36Speaker 7: within our own right. This ain't a conversation about rich people.
- 1:29:41Speaker 7: This is conversation towards good people. And some of the
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: best people I know ain't rich at all. I swear
- 1:29:48Speaker 7: to God to some of the best people I know,
- 1:29:52Speaker 7: I can't even tell you how much they make. Some
- 1:29:55Speaker 7: of the biggest inspirations in my life have been from
- 1:29:59Speaker 7: common people who have done some uncommon things. They have
- 1:30:05Speaker 7: been my greatest inspiration. Martin Luther King was not a
- 1:30:08Speaker 7: rich man. He affected me profoundly, profoundly. Man now there
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: are some men who have made a success out of
- 1:30:18Speaker 7: themselves financially that have affected me. But my greatest effect
- 1:30:23Speaker 7: in my life was not by rich people. My father,
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: Slick Harvey Lord have mercy poor his entire life. The
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: greatest effect on me, ever, this dude made me man.
- 1:30:37Speaker 7: If it wasn't for this dude right here, I'm not
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: here today. My father was that type of man. He
- 1:30:44Speaker 7: was really the best man I ever knew. I didn't
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: know a stronger dude than him. And when he passed,
- 1:30:49Speaker 7: I couldn't believe it, because the strongest dude I know.
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: When I got the news, I fell on my knees. Man,
