- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome its verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:05Speaker 1: it is the day after Easter, but the White House
- 0:09Speaker 1: wouldn't want you to know that Easter even happened on Sunday.
- 0:12Speaker 1: They were too obsessed with making sure that everybody knew
- 0:15Speaker 1: about the see everybody that's transgender day.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Well, listen, I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed
- 0:21Speaker 2: Easter yesterday. I hope you had a weekend with your
- 0:23Speaker 2: family where you gave thanks to God for God's blessings.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And I got to say, right in the middle of it,
- 0:29Speaker 2: seeing the Biden White House say essentially Easter doesn't happen
- 0:33Speaker 2: in this White House, that they're woke priorities Trump and
- 0:37Speaker 2: any recognition of Christianity or even acknowledgment of Christianity is
- 0:42Speaker 2: really sad. We're also going to talk in this episode
- 0:46Speaker 2: today about California's new twenty dollars minimum wage law, which
- 0:51Speaker 2: sadly has had having exactly the predicted effect of causing
- 0:54Speaker 2: thousands upon thousands of workers to lose their job. Fast
- 0:58Speaker 2: food restaurants all across California are laying off workers because
- 1:01Speaker 2: woke politicians do not understand basic supply and demand. And third,
- 1:05Speaker 2: we're going to revisit what happened with Rond McDaniel NBC
- 1:08Speaker 2: News saying essentially, Republicans need not apply. We are a
- 1:12Speaker 2: Democrat only network. And actually, for a brief moment, the
- 1:16Speaker 2: network big wigs tried to hire a Republican and their
- 1:20Speaker 2: on air talent all left wing Democrats, lost their minds
- 1:23Speaker 2: lit their hair on fire, and immediately the network execs
- 1:27Speaker 2: meekly said, Okay.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Yeah, we got it wrong, never mind, will fire. And
- 1:32Speaker 1: she read about it in the news, which is insane
- 1:34Speaker 1: that in a moment. But first, let me tell you

- 3:12Speaker 1: It's a day that I love on Sunday because the
- 3:15Speaker 1: world stops and that doesn't happen very often, and Christians
- 3:20Speaker 1: all over the world come together to celebrate the resurrection
- 3:26Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ. It is a day when you see
- 3:28Speaker 1: people come to church at staggering numbers, uh and come
- 3:32Speaker 1: together as families. But you look at the White House
- 3:35Speaker 1: and you go to White House dot gov, they had
- 3:37Speaker 1: a very different message for Americans. In fact, they tried
- 3:41Speaker 1: to hijack I would argue Easter altogether for another woke moment.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Well, that's exactly right. The White House put out an
- 3:49Speaker 2: announcement on Friday, on Good Friday that that that that
- 3:53Speaker 2: read quote. Now, therefore, I, Joseph Arbiden, Junior President of
- 3:57Speaker 2: the United States, by virtue of the authority vested in
- 4:00Speaker 2: me by the Constitution and the Laws of the United States,
- 4:02Speaker 2: do hereby proclaim marks thirty first, twenty twenty four as
- 4:07Speaker 2: Transgender Day of Visibility. Sunday was Easter Sunday. Yeah, look, look,
- 4:14Speaker 2: listen as a Christian that there is no more important
- 4:18Speaker 2: day in the calendar Listen, Christmas is a wonderful celebration
- 4:22Speaker 2: of Jesus' birth, but at the end of the day,
- 4:24Speaker 2: the entirety of Christianity is about Jesus' crucifixion on Good
- 4:29Speaker 2: Friday and his resurrection on Easter. Obviously not on those
- 4:32Speaker 2: exact days, but those are the days we celebrate his
- 4:35Speaker 2: dying for our sins. And I got to say, for
- 4:38Speaker 2: the White House to decide, you know, Easter is not
- 4:41Speaker 2: really important. The only thing that matters to us is
- 4:45Speaker 2: our politics, and nothing matters more than's transgender Day of
- 4:49Speaker 2: Visibility like that that that's truly stunning.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Not only is it stunning, but it's also one of
- 4:57Speaker 1: those moments and people that have not been around a
- 5:00Speaker 1: White House. This is not by accident. And there were
- 5:04Speaker 1: even some people going, look, you guys are of reacting
- 5:06Speaker 1: AKA Christians, they're just acknowledging. They didn't create this day, right,
- 5:11Speaker 1: The President is acknowledging this transgender visibility day. And this
- 5:15Speaker 1: could have been just you know, doing two things at once,
- 5:18Speaker 1: and they're not really they're not really overlooking Easter. I
- 5:22Speaker 1: don't believe that for a moment. This is me personally
- 5:24Speaker 1: saying that I think this was a deliberate moved by
- 5:27Speaker 1: this White House to spit in the face of Christians
- 5:30Speaker 1: and to say to younger voters that maybe don't believe
- 5:32Speaker 1: in God and the extremists on the Democratic side, hey,
- 5:36Speaker 1: we are your party. I think this was deliberate for
- 5:39Speaker 1: November because they're trying to shure up younger voters are
- 5:42Speaker 1: saying they may stay home and not vote for Joe Biden. Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 2: See, I guess I disagree with you on that, Ben.
- 5:48Speaker 2: I don't really think this was like a overt political decision.
- 5:53Speaker 2: I think the senior officials at the White House, most
- 5:57Speaker 2: of them have no idea it's Easter. I think they
- 5:59Speaker 2: are so second I think faith is so distant from
- 6:02Speaker 2: their lives that it doesn't even occur to them. I
- 6:05Speaker 2: don't think they had a warning sign.
- 6:06Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It reminds me of you remember a couple of years
- 6:09Speaker 2: ago when Jill Biden was down in San Antonio, Texas,
- 6:12Speaker 2: and she was speaking at a LATINX conference. Oh yeah,
- 6:16Speaker 2: and in her remark she said that that that that
- 6:19Speaker 2: that Hispanics are as diverse as breakfast tacos, which was
- 6:25Speaker 2: so utterly offensive. My response immediately was, well, I'm a
- 6:30Speaker 2: jonag and chee, so thank you, Jill, and it truly is.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But what was interesting about that, what was revealing about
- 6:38Speaker 2: that it was not a gaff. It was not an
- 6:42Speaker 2: off the cuff comment, that's the sort of thing Joe
- 6:44Speaker 2: Biden might say off the cuff. It was written in
- 6:47Speaker 2: her remarks, which means the political office at the White
- 6:51Speaker 2: House signed off on it. And they are so woke
- 6:56Speaker 2: that to them being condescending to Latinos who they want
- 7:00Speaker 2: to call latinx. And by the way, anyone who uses
- 7:03Speaker 2: the word LATINX, I promise you is not a Latino
- 7:05Speaker 2: and not a Latina. They are a rich white liberal
- 7:09Speaker 2: and to them it sounds perfectly perfectly normal to say,
- 7:13Speaker 2: you cute little Latinxes are as diverse as Tacos. I
- 7:17Speaker 2: think it's the same sort of thing here. They put
- 7:20Speaker 2: this out and and all of them, I actually think
- 7:23Speaker 2: they're home celebrating transgender Day of Visibility. They're they're not
- 7:27Speaker 2: not really aware it's Easter. I guess they know that
- 7:29Speaker 2: there there are a lot of bunny rabbits around for
- 7:32Speaker 2: some reason, but I don't know that they could tell
- 7:34Speaker 2: you why.
- 7:34Speaker 1: All right, so let me ask you this let's go
- 7:37Speaker 1: with your theory for a second, because there's a there's
- 7:41Speaker 1: definitely a chance that you're correct on this. But the
- 7:44Speaker 1: White House spoken.
- 7:44Speaker 2: And the truth is probably the truth is probably some
- 7:47Speaker 2: of both, it is, but but the question is which
- 7:51Speaker 2: is the predominant one. And I lean to there just
- 7:54Speaker 2: being that oblivious that they don't even realize they don't
- 7:58Speaker 2: know any person of faith who actually celebrates Easter, so
- 8:02Speaker 2: it doesn't occur to them that there's anything offensive about
- 8:05Speaker 2: what they're saying.
- 8:05Speaker 1: All right, So let's talk about the double down, because
- 8:07Speaker 1: the White House spokesman John Pierre doubled down after President
- 8:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden declared Easter Sunday Transgender Day of Visibility. She
- 8:14Speaker 1: put a statement out on xt Saturday, following the backlash
- 8:17Speaker 1: to Biden's animated affirmation of the controversial quote holiday that
- 8:23Speaker 1: happens to me on the same day as the holiest
- 8:25Speaker 1: Christian holiday that we have on the calendar. Quote on
- 8:29Speaker 1: Transgender Day of Visibility. The Biden Heri's administration honors the
- 8:33Speaker 1: extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirms our
- 8:38Speaker 1: nation's commitment to forming him are more perfect union where
- 8:41Speaker 1: all people are treated equally. That is what she put
- 8:44Speaker 1: on X on Saturday. Do you think they just doubled
- 8:48Speaker 1: down because they had no choice? It was like, all right,
- 8:51Speaker 1: we look like idiots. We've just offitted a ton of
- 8:53Speaker 1: Christians and people of faith this country who basically just
- 8:56Speaker 1: spit in their face. So this will be our way
- 8:59Speaker 1: of saying, hey, we're kind of doing two things at once.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Calm down.
- 9:02Speaker 2: So I don't think they know anyone they offended. I
- 9:04Speaker 2: think they view anyone who would be offended as a
- 9:06Speaker 2: deplorable So it's I genuinely believe there was not a
- 9:11Speaker 2: person in this White House who was offended. And most
- 9:14Speaker 2: of them would tell you, I think they don't know
- 9:18Speaker 2: anyone that they if they have a family member, they
- 9:21Speaker 2: think they're an ignorant family member they don't talk to anymore.
- 9:24Speaker 2: And listen, I'll tell you what I was actually more
- 9:28Speaker 2: okay the two things on this number one, I put
- 9:31Speaker 2: out a statement as it did a lot of people
- 9:33Speaker 2: pointing out how ridiculous this was, and I put it
- 9:36Speaker 2: out on AX, and it was interesting all the lefties
- 9:39Speaker 2: who responded to me. There were a bunch of them
- 9:40Speaker 2: that said, weh, no, no, it just transgender Day. Of
- 9:43Speaker 2: visibility happened to occur this Sunday. It's not our fault
- 9:47Speaker 2: that Easter coincided with what is clearly this day is
- 9:51Speaker 2: transgender Day. And it was kind of like, Okay, I'm
- 9:55Speaker 2: not sure about this holiday you're talking about, but Easter
- 9:58Speaker 2: spin around a couple thousand and years. It's like they
- 10:02Speaker 2: treat Easter like, who is this interloper that dare land
- 10:06Speaker 2: in the midst of our celebration. But let me say
- 10:10Speaker 2: something else that actually I found even more offensive, which
- 10:16Speaker 2: is every year the White House has an Easter egg roll.
- 10:18Speaker 2: And the Easter egg Roll is a fun event, and
- 10:20Speaker 2: you know, you have a lot of people who take
- 10:22Speaker 2: their kids there and they have Easter eggs and that
- 10:24Speaker 2: they're wooden and they're painted, they're really neat, and there's
- 10:27Speaker 2: a contest for kids. Well, the Biden White House has
- 10:30Speaker 2: a contest for kids to paint Easter eggs. And they
- 10:34Speaker 2: had a flyer describing what the kids must do. And
- 10:37Speaker 2: here's what the flyer for the content said. An Easter
- 10:40Speaker 2: egg design submission quote must not include any questionable content,
- 10:47Speaker 2: religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements. So
- 10:55Speaker 2: understand and by the way. This is on behalf of
- 10:57Speaker 2: first Lady Jill Biden. Surprised you didn't call it the
- 11:00Speaker 2: LATINX Easter egg roll. They invite people there and understand
- 11:05Speaker 2: they want you to paint Easter eggs that, according to
- 11:09Speaker 2: their dictate, have nothing to do with Easter. They literally prohibit,
- 11:16Speaker 2: they say, any religious themes, symbols, or content on a
- 11:21Speaker 2: celebration of Easter.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Rights, yeah, cross would be overly religious. The words?
- 11:27Speaker 2: All right, what are the most common three words that
- 11:30Speaker 2: any Christian says on Easter? He has he has risen?
- 11:34Speaker 2: And what does everyone respond? He has risen? Indeed, I
- 11:37Speaker 2: sat down, I texted a whole bunch of my friends
- 11:39Speaker 2: today and and and and texted them scriptures. But he
- 11:44Speaker 2: has risen. So according to the Biden rules, you're not
- 11:46Speaker 2: allowed to put he has risen. You are allowed to
- 11:48Speaker 2: put an Easter bunny. Uh, you are allowed to put
- 11:51Speaker 2: something utterly secular. And and look what I find grotesquely offensive?
- 11:58Speaker 2: Is I listen? This White House puts out celebrations of
- 12:02Speaker 2: Rashashan on Jan kupor, as they should on the Jewish holidays.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Do they have a rule no Jewish symbols on the
- 12:08Speaker 2: Jewish high holidays. They celebrate Ramadan. What are the odds
- 12:12Speaker 2: you think on Ramadan? They say, nope, you cannot say
- 12:15Speaker 2: anything Muslim on Ramadan, like Easter is a Christian holiday.
- 12:20Speaker 2: And these bastards, I mean this, it really does. They're
- 12:26Speaker 2: telling children when you celebrate Easter at the White House,
- 12:30Speaker 2: it cannot actually be Easter.
- 12:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I rarely, and I'm going to ask your permission.
- 12:36Speaker 1: I know what the answer is going to be. But
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't share our texts, but I'd like to read
- 12:40Speaker 1: part of your text today that you mentioned. Is that
- 12:42Speaker 1: Is that okay?
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Sure? So one of the scriptures that you sent in
- 12:48Speaker 1: a text that I got from you, it says he
- 12:51Speaker 1: is not there, he has risen. Remember how he told
- 12:56Speaker 1: you while he was still with you in Galilee, the
- 12:59Speaker 1: son of Man must be delivered over to the hands
- 13:02Speaker 1: of sinners, be crucified, and on the third day be
- 13:06Speaker 1: raised again Luke twenty four six through seven. Now I
- 13:10Speaker 1: love that verse and you sent it to me this morning.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Thank you for that, by the way. And it was
- 13:16Speaker 1: one that I was thinking about that kids learn. In fact,
- 13:20Speaker 1: my kids in school learned Luke twenty four six and
- 13:23Speaker 1: seven this week. It was their memory verse. What if
- 13:26Speaker 1: a kid wanted to put that on an egg? My
- 13:28Speaker 1: kid would have thought of that, right, because this is
- 13:31Speaker 1: part of the holiday, and they would have been I
- 13:33Speaker 1: guess disqualified or not even be allowed in the Easter
- 13:36Speaker 1: egg art contest of the White House because that would
- 13:39Speaker 1: be religious texts, which would be I guess extremism in
- 13:42Speaker 1: the eyes of the White House.
- 13:43Speaker 2: So let me read more of the White House's official guidance.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Quote.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Selected designs representing the unique experiences and stories of National
- 13:51Speaker 2: Guard children will be brought to life on real hend
- 13:55Speaker 2: eggs by talented egg artists from across the country and
- 13:59Speaker 2: display at the White House this Easter and Passover season.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Children can't promote material that promotes quote bigotry, racism, hatred,
- 14:09Speaker 2: or harm against any group or individual. Okay, I'm good
- 14:12Speaker 2: with all that. You shouldn't be promoting that or promotes
- 14:15Speaker 2: discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation,
- 14:20Speaker 2: or age. So under their definition, anything that acknowledges Christianity
- 14:25Speaker 2: presumably is promoting discrimination based on religion. If you quote
- 14:29Speaker 2: Jesus as saying, I'm the way the truth in the life.
- 14:31Speaker 2: No man comes to the Father but by me. That
- 14:33Speaker 2: according to the White House rules. Nope, you're not allowed
- 14:35Speaker 2: to acknowledge it on Easter. Easter is the celebration. Why
- 14:40Speaker 2: are we having a holiday? Do we just somehow think
- 14:43Speaker 2: bunny rabbits lay eggs?
- 14:46Speaker 5: Like?
- 14:46Speaker 2: What is the purpose of this event? And that level
- 14:53Speaker 2: there is.
- 14:53Speaker 1: A can we call it that towards Christians? That's what
- 14:57Speaker 1: it is.
- 14:57Speaker 2: It is abiding hate for people of faith generally, but
- 15:03Speaker 2: especially for Christians. And that's true for Catholics, that's true
- 15:07Speaker 2: for Evangelicals, it's true. Look, if you celebrated Easter, I
- 15:11Speaker 2: mean I want to ask you if you were asked, hey,
- 15:13Speaker 2: do you want to paint an egg for the White House?
- 15:17Speaker 2: And would it occur to you if it was an
- 15:19Speaker 2: Easter egg to say something about what the holiday is about? Well,
- 15:23Speaker 2: that is prohibited under the rules from this White House.
- 15:27Speaker 2: I got to say that really pisses me off.
- 15:30Speaker 1: This also makes me go back to when people said
- 15:33Speaker 1: that conservatives like myself. I don't know if you've ever
- 15:36Speaker 1: tweet something like this, So I'll ask you. You know
- 15:39Speaker 1: when several years ago when we talk about I say Christmas,
- 15:44Speaker 1: the real meaning of Christmas under attack and people are
- 15:46Speaker 1: trying to take Christ out of Christmas, and then the
- 15:49Speaker 1: left is like, you guys are crazy, You're paranoid, you're
- 15:53Speaker 1: radical extremists. Christians, no one's trying to take Christ out
- 15:57Speaker 1: of Christmas and the slippery and then you fast forward
- 16:01Speaker 1: to this Easter. The White House is saying nothing religious
- 16:04Speaker 1: on the Easter eggs. We're making, you know, Eastern the
- 16:07Speaker 1: same as Transgender Visibility Day. And I'm sitting there going, see,
- 16:11Speaker 1: I'm not crazy. I know what you're doing, and I'm
- 16:14Speaker 1: watching it and I'm calling you out on it. And
- 16:16Speaker 1: you guys don't understand that we understand when we should
- 16:20Speaker 1: be offended by what you're trying to do, which is
- 16:22Speaker 1: have Christmas without Christ, have Easter without the Resurrection.
- 16:26Speaker 2: So I'll tell you in the Senate, I mean, there's
- 16:29Speaker 2: a consistent divide. Democrats won't say Merry Christmas. It is
- 16:34Speaker 2: only Republicans. And actually when you say Marry Christmas, you
- 16:38Speaker 2: almost feel like a crazy rebel. I mean, I mean
- 16:40Speaker 2: it is a bizarre you know, it's it's happy holidays,
- 16:43Speaker 2: but you're kind of like, gee, what what is the
- 16:45Speaker 2: holiday you're you're celebrating And by the way, look for
- 16:49Speaker 2: my Jewish friends when they're celebrating Jewish holidays. I am
- 16:52Speaker 2: happy to wish them the best celebrating holidays that are
- 16:56Speaker 2: important to their faith. But but but as a Christian,
- 16:59Speaker 2: I celebrate Christmas, I celebrate Easter. And for the left,
- 17:05Speaker 2: look that they're antagonistic to faith across the board. But
- 17:08Speaker 2: there is a particular vitriol, hatred, antagonism, resentment, all of
- 17:14Speaker 2: those are there to Christianity in particular, which is why
- 17:17Speaker 2: they literally want to erase Christ from Christmas. It's apparently
- 17:20Speaker 2: about a fat guy in a sleigh, and they want
- 17:22Speaker 2: to erase Christ from Easter. It's apparently about bunny rabbits
- 17:26Speaker 2: and eggs.
- 17:28Speaker 1: It's incredible. Let me tell you about our friends ever
- 17:30Speaker 1: at Patriot Mobile. If you have a cell phone and
- 17:34Speaker 1: you're with Big Mobile, you need to know what's happening.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Big Mobile is giving big donations to democratic candidates, causes
- 17:42Speaker 1: and organizations, including Planned Parenthood. That is exactly why I
- 17:48Speaker 1: want you to know about Patriot Mobile and why you
- 17:51Speaker 1: should make the switch now. When I started to Patriot Mobile,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I had the same questions that you're having right now.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Am I going to have good service? The answer is yes,
- 17:59Speaker 1: you're going to have great service. In fact, you're going
- 18:01Speaker 1: to have the same nationwide, dependable coverage that you're used
- 18:04Speaker 1: to right now. How has that happened? Because Patriot Mobile
- 18:08Speaker 1: uses the same three major networks that you're using right now.
- 18:12Speaker 1: That means you get the same coverage you've been accustomed
- 18:14Speaker 1: to without funding the left. Second question I had was

- 19:27Speaker 1: pivot to another shocking story. I say shocking tongue in cheek.
- 19:33Speaker 1: There are tons of warnings and data points and history
- 19:38Speaker 1: that back up that when you mandate ridiculous wages, it
- 19:43Speaker 1: ends up hurting the people that you claim you're helping
- 19:46Speaker 1: the most. Specifically on big increases in minimum wage. Now,
- 19:52Speaker 1: the federal government has a minimum wage, but states have
- 19:56Speaker 1: gone to another level mandating higher wages. Fast forward to California.
- 20:02Speaker 1: They have the highest unemployment rate of any state in
- 20:05Speaker 1: America right now, and they've just gone and pushed their
- 20:08Speaker 1: twenty dollars minimum wage. When it comes to fast food workers,
- 20:13Speaker 1: they did this and guess what happened over eight hundred
- 20:17Speaker 1: For example, pizza delivery drivers got noticed that they were
- 20:20Speaker 1: being laid off and they deliver for Pizza Hut because
- 20:24Speaker 1: it is unsustainable to pay twenty dollars an hour to
- 20:28Speaker 1: deliver pizzas, and yet Democrats are still cheering on this insanity.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Well, it's a lot more than that. So this new
- 20:36Speaker 2: law goes into effect today Monday, and it is twenty
- 20:39Speaker 2: dollars an hour for fast food workers at chains with
- 20:44Speaker 2: more than sixty locations in the United.
- 20:46Speaker 1: States, now in California, in the in the United States.
- 20:50Speaker 2: And by the way, that is a twenty five percent
- 20:53Speaker 2: increase from the old minimum wage of sixteen dollars an
- 20:57Speaker 2: hour in California. And the layoffs have been massive and
- 21:03Speaker 2: far reaching. So Pizza Hut laid off more than one
- 21:08Speaker 2: tho two hundred delivery workers that was in Pizza Hut.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Round Table Pizza chain of about four hundred locations, said
- 21:18Speaker 2: it will lay off one two and eighty delivery workers.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Ex Caliber Pizza, one of his franchises, has plans to
- 21:25Speaker 2: cut seventy three drivers workers, twenty percent of its workforce.
- 21:29Speaker 2: And by the way, McDonald's, Chipotle, Jack in the Box
- 21:31Speaker 2: and other change say, what they're going to do is
- 21:33Speaker 2: raise the menu prices to offset the costs. By the
- 21:37Speaker 2: way they're doing more so, California based El Poyo Loco
- 21:42Speaker 2: has told investors. It is automating some of its salsa
- 21:46Speaker 2: making to mitigate minimum wage rises. Jack in the Box
- 21:51Speaker 2: is testing friar robots and automatic drink dispensers. And understand,
- 21:57Speaker 2: none of this is surprising. This is to be predicted.
- 22:03Speaker 2: In California. There are roughly five hundred and fifty seven
- 22:07Speaker 2: thousand fast food workers and they're about thirty thousand restaurants
- 22:10Speaker 2: in California. This minimum wage increase is going to drive
- 22:14Speaker 2: some of those restaurants out of business. Some of them
- 22:15Speaker 2: will go broke. When they go broke, all of their
- 22:18Speaker 2: employees will lose their jobs, both the minimum wage employees
- 22:22Speaker 2: and the higher ones, the managers. Everyone will lose their
- 22:24Speaker 2: job when the restaurants go broke. The ones that don't
- 22:27Speaker 2: go broke, we are seeing literally thousands upon thousands of
- 22:30Speaker 2: people being fired. And by the way, the pizza places,
- 22:34Speaker 2: what they're saying they're gonna do is they're going to
- 22:36Speaker 2: use door Dash and Uber Eats. They're just gonna use
- 22:39Speaker 2: third party apps, and they're they're firing all their drivers.
- 22:41Speaker 2: So and it's interesting that that there was a quote.
- 22:45Speaker 2: There's an article in the Daily Mayor Male that quotes
- 22:48Speaker 2: quotes one guy Michael o'heeda, twenty nine, who's a pizza
- 22:51Speaker 2: Hunt driver in Ontario, California, and he said he received
- 22:55Speaker 2: a notice from his pizza Hunt franchisee in December warming
- 23:00Speaker 2: him that his last day would be in February. And
- 23:02Speaker 2: here's his quote, Pizza Hutt was my career for nearly
- 23:05Speaker 2: a decade, and with little to no notice, it was
- 23:09Speaker 2: taken away. Well, there are consequences when you elect radical
- 23:13Speaker 2: democrats in California has done it across the board. They
- 23:16Speaker 2: have every state wide elected officials a Democrat. They have
- 23:19Speaker 2: super majorities in both houses of the legislature. And understand,
- 23:24Speaker 2: over and over and over again, when you jack up
- 23:26Speaker 2: the minimum wage, this is what happens. And one of
- 23:29Speaker 2: the things I like to do when people say, well,
- 23:30Speaker 2: we want a twenty dollars minimum wage that helps people, Okay, Well,
- 23:33Speaker 2: if it helps people, why would you stop at twenty?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Why not fifty dollars an hour? Why not a hundred?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Why not one thousand dollars an hour? Let's pass a
- 23:41Speaker 2: law that everyone must be paid at least one thousand
- 23:45Speaker 2: dollars an hour. Wouldn't that magically mean that money would
- 23:48Speaker 2: rain into the hands of everyone isn't that how it
- 23:50Speaker 2: works been.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Apparently, if if you've never been to school and you
- 23:53Speaker 1: don't know how the economy, how economy work, and how
- 23:57Speaker 1: inflation works, and yet you have warnings. We've seen this
- 24:01Speaker 1: time and time again. There are professors that will come
- 24:04Speaker 1: out and say, when you increase sinum wage, you think
- 24:07Speaker 1: you're helping people, but in reality, the costs of basic
- 24:10Speaker 1: food and milk and bread and all these things go up,
- 24:13Speaker 1: so it actually takes more money out of their pocket.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And yet they still keep doing it. And this on
- 24:17Speaker 1: top of the fact that they already had the highest
- 24:21Speaker 1: unemployment rate of any state in America right now, this
- 24:26Speaker 1: is only going to make it not just a little
- 24:27Speaker 1: bit worse, a lot worse.
- 24:29Speaker 2: So let me tell you, Ben, I spend a lot
- 24:31Speaker 2: of time actually talking to small business owners and restaurant
- 24:34Speaker 2: tours in particular. I love restaurant tours, and I tell
- 24:39Speaker 2: whether it's Burger King franchises or Mexican restaurants or also
- 24:43Speaker 2: I meat up with all sorts of restaurant owners, both
- 24:45Speaker 2: in Texas and when they come to Washington.
- 24:47Speaker 1: And one of the things I explain it when you
- 24:49Speaker 1: say restaurant tour, because I don't think people understand exactly
- 24:52Speaker 1: what that means.
- 24:52Speaker 2: It's someone who owns a restaurant. Someone who owns a restaurant,
- 24:56Speaker 2: and sometimes they have one restaurant. Sometimes they'll have a
- 25:00Speaker 2: dozen Jack in the Boxes or a dozen Burger Kings,
- 25:02Speaker 2: or But when I meet with restaurant owners, one of
- 25:07Speaker 2: the things I tell them all the time is I say, listen,
- 25:10Speaker 2: you may think you're in the food business, but I
- 25:14Speaker 2: actually don't think you're in the food business. You're in
- 25:17Speaker 2: the opportunity business. Because for millions and millions of Americans,
- 25:25Speaker 2: their first job is in a restaurant. And one of
- 25:27Speaker 2: the things I do all the time, Ben when I'm
- 25:29Speaker 2: at a town hall, I've got, you know, three four
- 25:31Speaker 2: hundred people in a room, I'll ask them how many
- 25:34Speaker 2: people in this room have ever worked at a restaurant. Inevitably,
- 25:37Speaker 2: about half the hands in the room go up. Now,
- 25:40Speaker 2: the argument lefties say is, well, you know, if you're
- 25:44Speaker 2: making ten bucks an hour flipping burgers, you can't feed
- 25:48Speaker 2: a family of four on ten bucks an hour. And
- 25:50Speaker 2: you know what, they're right, It's actually very hard to
- 25:52Speaker 2: feed a family of four on ten bucks an hour.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Here's the problem. Most people are not feeding a family
- 25:59Speaker 2: of fourping burgers. What happens and what restaurants are all
- 26:03Speaker 2: about is they're often the entry level job. So you
- 26:07Speaker 2: get a lot of teenagers, You get a lot of sixteen, seventeen, eighteen,
- 26:10Speaker 2: nineteen year old it's their first job, and they learn skills.
- 26:15Speaker 2: They learn to show up. They learned to show up
- 26:18Speaker 2: on time that they learned to interact with customers, they
- 26:21Speaker 2: learned to make change, they learned to work hard, they
- 26:23Speaker 2: learned to be disciplined, all of the skills that enable
- 26:28Speaker 2: them to get promoted. So very few people spend their
- 26:33Speaker 2: entire career flipping burgers at ten bucks an hour. That's
- 26:36Speaker 2: an entry level job. And by the way, if you
- 26:38Speaker 2: do it and do a good job, you almost inevitably
- 26:40Speaker 2: get promoted. So let me give a personal story from
- 26:44Speaker 2: my family background. When my dad came from Cuba, it
- 26:48Speaker 2: was nineteen fifty seven and he came to Texas. He
- 26:51Speaker 2: was eighteen. He had nothing, he was broke, and he
- 26:54Speaker 2: couldn't speak English. So the very first job he got
- 26:58Speaker 2: was washing dishes at a restaurant and he made fifty
- 27:02Speaker 2: cents an hour. Now why did he get that job?
- 27:03Speaker 2: Because he couldn't speak English and a lot of jobs.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Most jobs in Texas at the time in nineteen fifty
- 27:09Speaker 2: seven you had to speak English. You didn't have to
- 27:11Speaker 2: speak English to wash a dish. So that's what he
- 27:14Speaker 2: could do with the skill set he had at that time. Now,
- 27:17Speaker 2: I will point out that by the time that he
- 27:20Speaker 2: and my mom had me, he wasn't making fifty cents
- 27:22Speaker 2: an hour anymore. But his first job let him get started.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And by the way, he was a freshman at ut
- 27:28Speaker 2: that money at the time he paid his way through school.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But what happened is very quickly thereafter he started learning English,
- 27:37Speaker 2: and when he learned English, she got promoted. His second
- 27:41Speaker 2: job was at the same restaurant, and it was as
- 27:43Speaker 2: a cook, and a second job, he made eighty cents
- 27:47Speaker 2: an hour. Now he thought a cook was a much
- 27:50Speaker 2: better job than a dishwasher, and it was an eighty
- 27:52Speaker 2: cents an hour was a lot better than fifty cents
- 27:54Speaker 2: an hour. His next job after that was as a
- 27:58Speaker 2: teaching assistant at University at Texas, teaching undergrad's math, and
- 28:03Speaker 2: his next job after that was as a computer programmer
- 28:05Speaker 2: at IBM. But he doesn't get those subsequent jobs without
- 28:10Speaker 2: that first job washing dishes, and the left doesn't get
- 28:14Speaker 2: that when you do this, the people who are being
- 28:16Speaker 2: laid off, by the way, are predominantly low skilled, low income,
- 28:21Speaker 2: and very young. The majority of people who California just
- 28:24Speaker 2: laid off, the statistics tell us, are very likely to
- 28:27Speaker 2: be Hispanic or African American, to be teenagers with limited skills,
- 28:32Speaker 2: and this was their first job where they were getting skills.
- 28:35Speaker 2: And Democrats are pulling up the ladder and saying, you
- 28:39Speaker 2: don't get to get skills. Instead, you should be unemployed.
- 28:42Speaker 2: But guess what, we got a welfare check for you,
- 28:44Speaker 2: and you can just stop working right now because we'll
- 28:46Speaker 2: pay you as long as you vote Democrat.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Here's my question, and it comes back to California really
- 28:53Speaker 1: full circle. You have all these people that are laid off.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I wonder how many of them will not vote for
- 28:58Speaker 1: Democrats next time number one or two. They just say, Okay,
- 29:05Speaker 1: it is what it is, and I'll get some free
- 29:07Speaker 1: cash for a little bit and then I'll find another job.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Or is there gonna be a turning point do you
- 29:12Speaker 1: think center where it gets so bad with the absurdity
- 29:16Speaker 1: of twenty dollars an hour, twenty five an hour, whatever
- 29:19Speaker 1: it is and the sustainability of it, that there's no
- 29:23Speaker 1: other way but for people's eyes to be open. I
- 29:26Speaker 1: just don't have a lot of confidence.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I don't know, and I suspect it will
- 29:30Speaker 2: be some of both. So one of the things, again
- 29:34Speaker 2: that a lot of Democrats don't understand, is that in
- 29:37Speaker 2: any business you have a trade off between labor and capital,
- 29:41Speaker 2: and so you have a choice which one to invest in.
- 29:43Speaker 2: So the example I use when my dad was washing
- 29:46Speaker 2: dishes making fifty cents an hour. Thank god, some well
- 29:50Speaker 2: meaning liberal didn't come along and pass a two dollars
- 29:54Speaker 2: minimum wage law. Now they might have said, I want
- 29:57Speaker 2: to help those poor people making fifty cent an hour,
- 30:00Speaker 2: so I'm gonna mandate you cannot pay anyone less than
- 30:03Speaker 2: two dollars an hour. You know what they would have done.
- 30:05Speaker 2: They would have fired my father. Yeah, and they would
- 30:08Speaker 2: have bought a dishwasher. That you have a trade off
- 30:12Speaker 2: do you use labor or do you use capital. Notice
- 30:14Speaker 2: when I was going through in California that they're discussing
- 30:17Speaker 2: stores that are that they're looking at automated salsa makers,
- 30:21Speaker 2: that are looking at robotic French fry friars, that are
- 30:24Speaker 2: looking at automated soft drink dispensers. Have you ever been
- 30:27Speaker 2: to a restaurant and ordered an iPad or in a kiosk?
- 30:30Speaker 1: Yes, and it's becoming more regular now.
- 30:33Speaker 2: And you know what that is. This is this is
- 30:35Speaker 2: actually ancient history. But I used to describe iPads and
- 30:38Speaker 2: kiosks as a fifteen dollars waitress. Which is what happened
- 30:42Speaker 2: is some well meaning Democrats said you got to pay
- 30:45Speaker 2: people fifteen dollars an hour. And you know what, the
- 30:46Speaker 2: restaurant owner said, I can't stay in business. The math
- 30:50Speaker 2: doesn't work. So I'm gonna fire the waitress. I'm gonna
- 30:52Speaker 2: fire the waiter, and I'm gonna put a piece of
- 30:54Speaker 2: metal and you know what, I have to pay the
- 30:55Speaker 2: piece of metal zero dollars an hour. Now I've got
- 30:58Speaker 2: some upfront capital, but once I put the iPad of
- 31:01Speaker 2: the kioska, I don't have to pay them an hourly wage.
- 31:03Speaker 2: And when you jack up the cost of labor, inevitably
- 31:09Speaker 2: the result is people lose their jobs. And the people
- 31:13Speaker 2: who lose it understand who democrats hurt. They hurt the
- 31:18Speaker 2: most vulnerable. By the way, the same thing is true
- 31:20Speaker 2: when Democrats did shutdowns during COVID when they shut schools down,
- 31:27Speaker 2: the people who got hurt the most were low income kids.
- 31:29Speaker 2: They were African American kids, they were Hispanic kids. The
- 31:32Speaker 2: data show we have the biggest learning gap since we
- 31:36Speaker 2: have been recording learning results. And by the way, the
- 31:40Speaker 2: racial gap grew more during the COVID lockdowns than in
- 31:44Speaker 2: any period in recorded history. So understand, this is what
- 31:48Speaker 2: democrats do. And by the way, if your parents were rich,
- 31:51Speaker 2: guess what the school shut downs. They were inconvenient, but
- 31:54Speaker 2: you could hire a tutor, you had resources. Your kids.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Rich kids didn't fall behind all that much during the lockdowns.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Low income kids if they had a single mom with
- 32:06Speaker 2: three four kids, for millions of them, they essentially didn't
- 32:12Speaker 2: go to school for months and months and months on end.
- 32:15Speaker 2: And again, this is what Democrat policies systematically do. They
- 32:21Speaker 2: hurt the most vulnerable while at the same time they're
- 32:24Speaker 2: sermonizing about how they want to help the most vulnerable.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Great point. When you wake up in the morning,
- 32:30Speaker 1: if you're like me, you want a great cup of coffee.

- 32:48Speaker 1: got to be able to tell people what's going on.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that with an average cup of coffee,
- 32:52Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna do it with a woke coffee brand.
- 32:56Speaker 1: That's how I found out Blackout Coffee, and that's why

- 33:54Speaker 1: to ask you about saying that happened this last week,
- 33:56Speaker 1: and it was a story that was I was even
- 34:00Speaker 1: shocked by it. The former RNC chairwoman was hired by
- 34:08Speaker 1: NBC News to become a commentator slash NBC News. She
- 34:13Speaker 1: was hired, it came out, and what ended up happening
- 34:17Speaker 1: was virtually every name that was a host of a show,
- 34:22Speaker 1: a big talent at NBC, including me. The press said,
- 34:26Speaker 1: we're not going to work with her, she's a radical
- 34:30Speaker 1: Trump extremist. January sixther We're not going to work with her,
- 34:35Speaker 1: and they literally ripped her on air in a way
- 34:39Speaker 1: that I didn't even think they would do, but they
- 34:42Speaker 1: did it. And here's a montage of just how bad
- 34:44Speaker 1: it was.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Joined by former RNC chair Roni McDaniel in her first
- 34:48Speaker 3: interview since stepping down as party chair. In full disclosure
- 34:52Speaker 3: to our viewers, this interview was scheduled weeks before it
- 34:55Speaker 3: was announced that McDaniel would become a paid NBC News contributor,
- 35:00Speaker 3: will be a news interview and I was not involved
- 35:03Speaker 3: in her hiring.
- 35:04Speaker 6: I think our bosses owe you an apology for putting
- 35:06Speaker 6: you in this situation. And look, there's a reason why
- 35:09Speaker 6: there's a lot of journalists at NBC News uncomfortable with this,
- 35:11Speaker 6: because many of our professional dealings with the RNC over
- 35:14Speaker 6: the last six years have been met with catilating, have
- 35:17Speaker 6: been met with characters fascination.
- 35:19Speaker 3: We weren't asked our opinion of the hiring, but if
- 35:21Speaker 3: we were, we would have strongly objected to it.
- 35:23Speaker 4: At NBC News, either wittingly or unwittingly, is teaching election
- 35:27Speaker 4: deniers that what they can do stretches well beyond appearing
- 35:32Speaker 4: on our air and interviews to pedal lies about the
- 35:34Speaker 4: sanctity and integrity of our elections so that they can
- 35:38Speaker 4: do that as one of us, as badge carrying employees
- 35:41Speaker 4: of NBC News, there.
- 35:43Speaker 6: Is an easy way to avoid the controversy NBC News
- 35:48Speaker 6: has stumbled into.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Don't hire anyone close to the crimes.
- 35:55Speaker 6: She literally backed an illegal scheme to an election in
- 36:01Speaker 6: the state of Mission.
- 36:02Speaker 5: That is the type of experience that Ronald McDaniel brings
- 36:04Speaker 5: to the table, and that experience does not get us
- 36:07Speaker 5: to a deeper understanding of anything in the public debate.
- 36:10Speaker 5: I want to associate myself with all my colleagues, both
- 36:13Speaker 5: at MSNBC and at NBC News who have voiced loud
- 36:17Speaker 5: and principled objections to our company putting on the payroll
- 36:22Speaker 5: someone who hasn't just attacked us as journalists, but someone
- 36:27Speaker 5: who is part of an ongoing project to get rid
- 36:29Speaker 5: of our system of government.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Senator that was clearly orchestrated by the talent. They were
- 36:36Speaker 1: not going to work with her, and they were going
- 36:37Speaker 1: to ruin her career before it even started.
- 36:40Speaker 2: Well, look, NBC News sadly is a joke MSNBC News.
- 36:45Speaker 2: It would be a joke if anyone watched it. But
- 36:47Speaker 2: it's just sort of a left wing primal scream and
- 36:52Speaker 2: the utter hypocrisy of everyone. So much of this was
- 37:00Speaker 2: started by Chuck Todd, and Chuck Todd had this whole screed,
- 37:04Speaker 2: this self righteous, holier than the now screed that he
- 37:06Speaker 2: did on Meet the Press. Now here's an interesting bit
- 37:10Speaker 2: you may not know. Do you know how Chuck Todd
- 37:12Speaker 2: got his start? How was that as a staffer in
- 37:15Speaker 2: nineteen ninety two for the presidential campaign of Senator Tom Harkin,
- 37:19Speaker 2: a Democrat. So Chuck Todd was a Democrat staffer on
- 37:24Speaker 2: a presidential campaign. Mind, you're not just in passing. But
- 37:27Speaker 2: let's go back to Chuck Todd's predecessor, Tim Russert. Tim
- 37:31Speaker 2: Russer the gold standard of Meet the Press, the gold
- 37:34Speaker 2: standard of NBC News. Did you know what Tim Russer
- 37:38Speaker 2: did before he went NBC.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna go out and a lemon and say a
- 37:41Speaker 1: Democratic staffer.
- 37:42Speaker 2: He worked for US Senator Daniel Patrick Boynihan, a Democrat
- 37:46Speaker 2: from New York. He served as special counsel to Daniel
- 37:49Speaker 2: Patrick Boynihan. He served as chief of staff to Daniel
- 37:53Speaker 2: Patrick Boynihan, and then in nineteen eighty three he became
- 37:56Speaker 2: a top aid to New York Governor Mario Cuomo, also
- 37:59Speaker 2: a Democrat. So he was a senior Democrat staffer over
- 38:04Speaker 2: and over again for multiple Democrats, and then he went
- 38:07Speaker 2: to NBC News. Let's fast forward George Stephanopolis. Where did
- 38:11Speaker 2: George Stephanopolis make his name as a senior press hack
- 38:15Speaker 2: for the Clinton White House? He was a political staffer
- 38:17Speaker 2: his entire life. By the way, he's the premier political
- 38:21Speaker 2: commentator at ABC now. And let's not forget Jen Saki
- 38:26Speaker 2: happily ensconced at MSNBC. She was, of course Joe Biden's
- 38:30Speaker 2: White House Press secretary. She stood up there and spin,
- 38:33Speaker 2: baby spin, baby spin, and she got hired basically straight
- 38:36Speaker 2: from the White House, where she continues to do the
- 38:39Speaker 2: same job. She is still, as far as I'm concerned,
- 38:42Speaker 2: the White House Press secretary. She's actually a much better
- 38:44Speaker 2: press secretary than Kareem John Pierre. Why because Kring John
- 38:48Speaker 2: Pierre is not very good at her job. All she
- 38:51Speaker 2: does is lie. To Sak's credit, she actually rarely directly lied.
- 38:56Speaker 2: She just pivoted, she circled back, she spun, but she
- 39:00Speaker 2: rarely made flat out, demonstrably provable falsehoods, whereas Krane John
- 39:05Speaker 2: Pierre seems to do so on an almost daily basis.
- 39:08Speaker 2: But the entirety of that, understand, the position of NBC
- 39:13Speaker 2: is essentially, we cannot tolerate an actual Republican who works
- 39:22Speaker 2: for us. And by the way, there were a few
- 39:25Speaker 2: folks who got online and they said, no, no, no, that's
- 39:27Speaker 2: not true. That's not true. That's not true. Because Nicole
- 39:29Speaker 2: Wallace is on MSNBC and she was a Republican staffer,
- 39:33Speaker 2: and Joe Scarborough he was a Republican congressman. Well that's true,
- 39:39Speaker 2: they were in a prior life Republicans, but both Nicole
- 39:43Speaker 2: Wallace and Joe Scarboro voted for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden.
- 39:49Speaker 2: So the position of NBC News is we cannot actually
- 39:53Speaker 2: hire anybody who voted for Donald Trump. As long as
- 39:56Speaker 2: you vote for Democrats, you could have been a Republican
- 39:59Speaker 2: long in your distant life, but you must have abandoned
- 40:02Speaker 2: half of the country and decided they're evil deplorables. Those
- 40:06Speaker 2: are the only people we are willing to hire.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Welcome to MSNBC and NBC News as you described it.
- 40:12Speaker 1: And again I'm not a big person advocating or supporting,
- 40:16Speaker 1: like oh, sue somebody, but I hope she gets a
- 40:19Speaker 1: big payday the way they treat her, and apparently she
- 40:22Speaker 1: found out she was fired through media reports, not even
- 40:25Speaker 1: from a phone call from NBC News. I hope that
- 40:29Speaker 1: she gets a huge payout from this. She deserves every
- 40:32Speaker 1: dime after watching her colleagues run her name through the
- 40:35Speaker 1: mud the way they did and treat her the way
- 40:37Speaker 1: they did.
- 40:38Speaker 2: So and let me make an important point on this.
- 40:40Speaker 2: So MSNBC has a niche as a hard left network,
- 40:45Speaker 2: that's why they have so few viewers.
- 40:47Speaker 1: But they're hard left.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Let me ask you something, Why does NBC I mean,
- 40:52Speaker 2: and what NBC pretends to actually be a real journalistic outfit.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Why do they have a subsidiary that is just a
- 41:00Speaker 2: hard left platform. By the way, they all decry Fox News,
- 41:05Speaker 2: but MSNBC is hard left, unapologetically so. And by the way,
- 41:10Speaker 2: you know what the MS stands for Microsoft. Why exactly
- 41:14Speaker 2: is Microsoft funding hard left propaganda? Why is NBC? Why
- 41:19Speaker 2: are they okay with a network that has an explicit
- 41:23Speaker 2: ideological agenda? And one of the points to understand, it
- 41:28Speaker 2: was NBC News that hired Ron McDaniel. And I'm going
- 41:34Speaker 2: to make the case to you there is no difference
- 41:36Speaker 2: between MSNBC and NBC. They are one and the same.
- 41:40Speaker 2: NBC no longer pretends to be journalists. They are advocates.
- 41:45Speaker 2: They are MSNBC. They are the left wing of the
- 41:48Speaker 2: Democrat Party. There's a reason, by the way, in the
- 41:51Speaker 2: last presidential cycle they were thrown out of moderating because
- 41:54Speaker 2: they're so hardcore and partisan. Now, I guess somebody in
- 41:59Speaker 2: their corporate leader ship decided they wanted to at least
- 42:01Speaker 2: have a nod of have somebody on the staff who
- 42:06Speaker 2: had voted with half of the country. But let me
- 42:09Speaker 2: ask you, Ben, so you actually have been a paid
- 42:14Speaker 2: conservative at a left wing network at CNN, you were
- 42:17Speaker 2: paid for a number of years. What was that like then,
- 42:20Speaker 2: and give us your perspectives from having been in Rana's shoes,
- 42:24Speaker 2: although at a different time.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It's funny that you asked this because I was doing
- 42:28Speaker 1: out Numbered, hosting out Numbered on I think it was
- 42:30Speaker 1: Wednesday when this story broke and they came to me.
- 42:33Speaker 1: They're like, look, you've got an instume perspective. I said, yeah,
- 42:36Speaker 1: I was hired for My contract was extended when I
- 42:42Speaker 1: was at CN and I was there totally seven years,
- 42:44Speaker 1: but the last year was just and this is how
- 42:47Speaker 1: much it even changed at CNN. They used to want
- 42:50Speaker 1: when they when Jeff Zecker took over a Grand Debate,
- 42:53Speaker 1: they wanted conservatives to have people that they thought were
- 42:56Speaker 1: well representing them so that consertaives wouldn't you know, basically
- 43:00Speaker 1: immediately skip over the channel one Stunnald Trump one in
- 43:04Speaker 1: sixteen Wills came off at CNN they hated him. They
- 43:08Speaker 1: hated and they yelled and screamed and tried to turn
- 43:11Speaker 1: you into bigot, racist homophobes NFOI everything they could and
- 43:15Speaker 1: try to ruin your career when you were on because
- 43:16Speaker 1: the couldn't yell at Trump, but they could yell at
- 43:18Speaker 1: you and you were supporting Trump or defending Trump. But
- 43:21Speaker 1: in the last year that I was there, they hired
- 43:24Speaker 1: me just to have my name on a piece of
- 43:26Speaker 1: paper as it get out a free jail card when
- 43:28Speaker 1: someone said you guys have no conservatives, and they would
- 43:30Speaker 1: say no, no, no, no, no, look over here, we have
- 43:33Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson. In my last year, I did two appearances
- 43:38Speaker 1: on CNN. Now that's absurd from a financial standpoint. If
- 43:42Speaker 1: you were a financial person, why would you hire a guy,
- 43:45Speaker 1: give him a salary and only have him come to
- 43:46Speaker 1: work two days out of three hundred and sixty five
- 43:48Speaker 1: days in a year. One of those two appearances was
- 43:51Speaker 1: after the Hollywood Reporter did a story about me being benched,
- 43:57Speaker 1: and then they put me on the next day on
- 43:58Speaker 1: a Saturday, for four minutes, just to say no, see
- 44:02Speaker 1: he's not benched. We just used him today, and then
- 44:05Speaker 1: never used me again, and with Ronald McDowell. I have
- 44:09Speaker 1: to say with her, I think that's part of what
- 44:12Speaker 1: they wanted. They wanted to go into this election cycle
- 44:15Speaker 1: saying noo, we've got a token concern. This lady just
- 44:18Speaker 1: ran the RNC. We see we're not biased. We've got
- 44:22Speaker 1: her on the air.
- 44:23Speaker 2: By the way, and i'll tell you Jensaki, So as
- 44:28Speaker 2: Verdict listeners know, my latest book, Unwoke, How to Defeat
- 44:31Speaker 2: Cultural Marxism in America. When it came out, I did
- 44:34Speaker 2: a ton of radio interviews. We actually called an offer
- 44:36Speaker 2: to go on Jensaki show. She said no, no, we
- 44:39Speaker 2: don't want you. We don't that they're and by the way,
- 44:42Speaker 2: the view also turned me down. So the last two
- 44:45Speaker 2: books I did previously, I went on the view for
- 44:47Speaker 2: both of them, and and look I.
- 44:50Speaker 1: And the ratings were huge.
- 44:52Speaker 2: When the ratings were massive, and and and I don't
- 44:55Speaker 2: think it is an overstatement to say it did not
- 44:57Speaker 2: go well for the host because they didn't know what
- 45:00Speaker 2: they were talking about. And I pointed out they didn't
- 45:02Speaker 2: know what they were talking about. Look with with Whoopy Goldberg,
- 45:06Speaker 2: when I went on for my book Justice Corrupted, How
- 45:12Speaker 2: how the Left is weaponized the legal system. I went on,
- 45:15Speaker 2: and all the hosts of the view begin screaming at me,
- 45:18Speaker 2: and they're like, you know, you Republicans are all election deniers,
- 45:22Speaker 2: election deniers, and and they're used to everyone who agrees
- 45:25Speaker 2: with them, so they think that that's just like a
- 45:27Speaker 2: kill shot. And I said, oh, you mean like when
- 45:30Speaker 2: when Hillary Clinton insisted that she won and that Donald
- 45:33Speaker 2: Trump's election was illegitimate. She said she didn't say that,
- 45:36Speaker 2: so I had the quote and I read it out loud,
- 45:38Speaker 2: or I said, do you mean when when Al Gore
- 45:41Speaker 2: said that George W. Bush was illegitimately elected and the
- 45:44Speaker 2: election was stolen from him? Or do you mean like
- 45:46Speaker 2: when Stacy Abrams said that she was the governor of
- 45:49Speaker 2: Georgia and that there was illegitimate or do you mean
- 45:52Speaker 2: like when Joe Biden said George W. Bush was illegitimate elected.
- 45:56Speaker 2: I just read quote after quote after quote. They'd never
- 45:58Speaker 2: heard any of them, by the way. What we later
- 46:00Speaker 2: they had Chelsea Clinton on to say, my mother never
- 46:02Speaker 2: said that quote that she's on TV saying, and that
- 46:05Speaker 2: I read verbatim. But then the next exchange with Whoopy
- 46:09Speaker 2: was really interesting because after saying election denial, which is
- 46:13Speaker 2: their sort of first response. Then she said, and you
- 46:15Speaker 2: guys are all a bunch of angry, rioting criminals, to
- 46:21Speaker 2: which I laughed and said, really, you mean what about
- 46:25Speaker 2: the entire year of Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots
- 46:30Speaker 2: that burned American cities across this country for a year,
- 46:34Speaker 2: And Whoopy looks at me, completely confused, and she says,
- 46:39Speaker 2: I don't know what an antifa riot is. I have
- 46:41Speaker 2: no idea what that is. And it was they're in
- 46:45Speaker 2: such an echo chamber they will only talk to people
- 46:49Speaker 2: who agree to them, and sadly they're a couple of million,
- 46:52Speaker 2: mostly women watching the view who are just listening to
- 46:58Speaker 2: partisan propaganda. And then there were there are no Antifa riots.
- 47:01Speaker 2: That doesn't exist. And by the way, for the last
- 47:05Speaker 2: book Unwoke, the View said Nope, we don't want you.
- 47:07Speaker 2: And that didn't go well for us at all. And Jensaki,
- 47:10Speaker 2: who I've never been on her show, you would think
- 47:12Speaker 2: she might be interested. And by the way, I'm perfectly
- 47:14Speaker 2: happy her to come attack me and scream and be
- 47:17Speaker 2: a crazy nut if she wanted to. I mean, I
- 47:19Speaker 2: was not expecting a love fest, but their view was sorry, no,
- 47:23Speaker 2: we don't want you on it all. We have one
- 47:25Speaker 2: view and we will never ever ever have anything to
- 47:28Speaker 2: the contrary. That is MSNBC and apparently that's NBC two.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah, great point. Don't forget. We did this show Monday, Wednesday, Friday,
