- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and the stuffing me good Steve to
- 0:25Speaker 1: mother for st Please, I don't join jo. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you are you gotta turn to turn them out?
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn you got to turn out, turn the water to
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water. Go. Come come on your thing. Ah huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning, everybody. Are you are listening
- 2:06Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, I got
- 2:14Speaker 1: something for you today. I'm gonna have a conversation this
- 2:21Speaker 1: morning about my understanding of grace now that I've gotten
- 2:26Speaker 1: older and I've come in to a better understanding of
- 2:29Speaker 1: a lot of things I didn't know about when I
- 2:31Speaker 1: was younger. This is just my interpretation of grace. Now
- 2:37Speaker 1: once again, y'all listen to me. I ain't nobody's pastor,
- 2:42Speaker 1: I ain't nobody's minister. So you know, I'm pretty sure
- 2:44Speaker 1: you can go to church and get a far more
- 2:47Speaker 1: extensive definition of one I'm giving you. I'm just talking
- 2:50Speaker 1: to people. You know. Grace is this thing that that
- 2:55Speaker 1: God provides for us and Grace's just things that you
- 3:03Speaker 1: get that's really undeserving, you know. I mean, I look
- 3:07Speaker 1: at my life as it is today. You know. Look,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I work hard and I have faith in God that
- 3:12Speaker 1: I do so things are going to happen in my life.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But the way my life is now, I don't. I don't.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't deserve all of this. I don't don't. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: don't look at it that way. I have been the
- 3:24Speaker 1: beneficiary of God's grace. I have aligned myself in a
- 3:29Speaker 1: position to accept whatever grace God has for me, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: it will be far abundant and exceedingly in anything you
- 3:39Speaker 1: could think of. His grace supersedes anything you could possibly imagine.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You know, the goals that I set and the aspirations
- 3:49Speaker 1: that I shoot for, and the things that I have
- 3:50Speaker 1: on my dream board. I have the faith that God
- 3:53Speaker 1: give it to me. But what He does with grace,
- 3:56Speaker 1: he gives you far more than that. He gives you
- 3:58Speaker 1: what He has for you, not what you can see.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You can't see all He has for you. It's impossible.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Who are you? How can you possibly imagine what he
- 4:08Speaker 1: can imagine? How can you possibly think? How he can think?
- 4:11Speaker 1: How how can you possibly do what he can do.
- 4:14Speaker 1: How can it be that isn't a single mind living
- 4:18Speaker 1: or a collection of minds that could have thought of earth?
- 4:22Speaker 1: What in your wildest imagination could have made you think
- 4:25Speaker 1: of earth? The stars, the heavens, the oceans, the galaxy,
- 4:32Speaker 1: the constellations? What in your mind? What in any man's mind?
- 4:37Speaker 1: We can point at it and analyze it, but we
- 4:39Speaker 1: show it couldn't have thought of it. So come on now,
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm talking about lining yourself up with God's grace, which
- 4:48Speaker 1: he will give to you if you if you want
- 4:50Speaker 1: some of it now. But now, his thing about grace,
- 4:53Speaker 1: it can't be bought. If it could, if it could
- 4:55Speaker 1: be bought, I'm telling you I would pour all the
- 5:00Speaker 1: money I have and dump it into grace, because, after
- 5:04Speaker 1: discovering what it is, it's this goodness that God shines
- 5:10Speaker 1: on you simply as a reward of some type for
- 5:14Speaker 1: his love for you and for you attempting for you,
- 5:19Speaker 1: attempting to do right, not because you get it right.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Because if He judged us purely on how we are
- 5:25Speaker 1: the right and wrong of it, we would all be doomed,
- 5:29Speaker 1: all of us, every last one of us would be doomed,
- 5:34Speaker 1: because we all fall short, we all make mistakes, we
- 5:38Speaker 1: all sin, we all get it wrong from time to time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Nobody's perfect. Man. Now I understand what my mother was
- 5:46Speaker 1: saying about cleaning the house. All I want is a
- 5:50Speaker 1: little more grace. All I need is a little more
- 5:53Speaker 1: grace when the last time you ask God for some grace. Now,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I'm not talking to you like I know everything. If
- 6:00Speaker 1: you just benefit from His grace, which you already have,
- 6:04Speaker 1: but if you're not aware of it, you don't know
- 6:06Speaker 1: what's going on. Become aware of grace, Get aware of
- 6:10Speaker 1: the fact that God does things for you simply because
- 6:13Speaker 1: He loves you. He does things for you that you
- 6:16Speaker 1: don't even deserve. Somehow, you just wonder how you just
- 6:19Speaker 1: got over when you didn't even do the things to
- 6:22Speaker 1: get over. Sometimes you don't even know how you got
- 6:26Speaker 1: that job you got when you ain't even really do
- 6:29Speaker 1: the things to get the job. How you end up
- 6:31Speaker 1: where you are all education you thought you went and
- 6:34Speaker 1: got and had, How you end up where you are
- 6:36Speaker 1: today in a much better position than your education could
- 6:39Speaker 1: have ever gotten you. That's grace. How I get every
- 6:44Speaker 1: place I am today. I didn't plan this, man. If
- 6:47Speaker 1: I could have planned my life, the way it is.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Don't you know how to have have done it? When I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was living in that car? If I knew how to
- 6:52Speaker 1: do it, No, I benefited from his grace. I'm just
- 6:56Speaker 1: a beneficiary of his grace, of his goodness and his mercy.
- 7:02Speaker 1: God's goodness is better than your goodness. God's goodness is
- 7:06Speaker 1: better than your mother's goodness. It's better than your wife's
- 7:09Speaker 1: or your husband or your booze goodness. God's goodness is different.
- 7:15Speaker 1: His goodness man covers some stuff you can't even imagine.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So why are you trying to put your life together
- 7:22Speaker 1: when the last time you asked him for just a
- 7:24Speaker 1: little bit of grace? When have you thought of your
- 7:29Speaker 1: life in terms of the grace that it has already
- 7:32Speaker 1: benefited from? Have you ever done that? Man? Just thought
- 7:36Speaker 1: about you know? You hear songs like my soul look
- 7:39Speaker 1: back and wonder how I got over. That's grace. That's
- 7:42Speaker 1: all I can call it. Now. Like I say, you
- 7:44Speaker 1: can go at church or somewhere ever you want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: and ministers that the wind at school to teach this
- 7:49Speaker 1: thing way better than me. I'm just giving you from
- 7:51Speaker 1: a layman standpoint. Man, have you thought about his grace?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Would you not bewailed to be a beneficiary of his grace?
- 7:59Speaker 1: Would it not say? Now, check this out. The better
- 8:02Speaker 1: you try to do, the more grace he'll give to you.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And that grace can't be bought, Like I said, it's free.
- 8:09Speaker 1: You can't purchase grace. But the better you try to become,
- 8:14Speaker 1: the more the more grace he gets to put your way.
- 8:18Speaker 1: So man, just try, why don't you just try to
- 8:21Speaker 1: do better? Look, man, quick tip. Mind, I'm gonna start
- 8:24Speaker 1: next week. I'm gonna start at the new year. Now
- 8:26Speaker 1: you now you do that every year, you know the
- 8:28Speaker 1: ems at the new year, we eat better at the
- 8:30Speaker 1: new year. I'm gonna I'm gonna gonna get in here
- 8:33Speaker 1: and the new year. If you're gonna do it, you're
- 8:35Speaker 1: gonna do it now. Man, you're gonna do not stop
- 8:38Speaker 1: trying to do something, do it, stop talking about it,
- 8:43Speaker 1: do it now. The best way to benefit from his
- 8:46Speaker 1: grace is starting action now in old w now, right
- 8:52Speaker 1: now today. What you're waiting on. All you're doing is
- 8:56Speaker 1: delaying his opportunity to bless you. You know, man, you know,
- 9:01Speaker 1: do you know how many times we do that? We
- 9:03Speaker 1: delay his opportunity to bless us by not starting now.
- 9:07Speaker 1: If you're gonna get healthy, why don't you start now? Now?
- 9:10Speaker 1: You're gonna trip a little bit called the holidays coming,
- 9:13Speaker 1: But you ain't got to eat bad all the time.
- 9:15Speaker 1: You could start eating correct today you could. You could
- 9:19Speaker 1: and then guess what that could be? Some grace on
- 9:21Speaker 1: the end of that. I'm just giving you a little
- 9:24Speaker 1: cheap analogy. But do you feel what I'm saying to you?
- 9:27Speaker 1: Start thinking in terms of grace? What He has done
- 9:31Speaker 1: for you and provided for you that you ain't even
- 9:32Speaker 1: see coming. That you know, you keep calling them blessings
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I got that a lot of it and us
- 9:37Speaker 1: all it is. But man, have you thought about the
- 9:39Speaker 1: stuff that didn't happen to you? You can't account for I.
- 9:44Speaker 1: For me, that's been grace and I'm beneficiary of it.
- 9:47Speaker 1: And that's available to everybody that won'ts. So next time
- 9:51Speaker 1: you're talking to him, just check in with grace. See
- 9:53Speaker 1: what that is. That's that's better than money. You're listening
- 9:57Speaker 1: tow ladies and gentlemen, let me have it your undivided attention.

- 13:44Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show time. Now for ask the clo.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey is in the building. This
- 13:53Speaker 1: one CLO is from Felicia in Philly. Felicia says, I'm
- 13:57Speaker 1: twenty eight years old and my father is only fifteen
- 13:59Speaker 1: years old older than me, and that's a problem. My
- 14:02Speaker 1: mother is the same age as he, but she asks
- 14:06Speaker 1: her age. My father is everywhere I go, dating women
- 14:11Speaker 1: my age and still getting in fights in the club.
- 14:14Speaker 1: He's childish and ghetto, so I try to steer clear
- 14:17Speaker 1: of him in public. He got arrested last week for
- 14:20Speaker 1: public intoxication and I went to pick him up from
- 14:23Speaker 1: jail and he smelled like weed. Is there any way
- 14:27Speaker 1: to make him grow up? Oh? That jail usually does it.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Jail quick jail, Lisa asked, whooping thanks like this? So
- 14:41Speaker 1: I don't really know that there's anything that you can do,
- 14:44Speaker 1: per se, because this is some stuff that's lacking in him,
- 14:48Speaker 1: and I don't think that you can provide it for
- 14:50Speaker 1: him as a twenty eight year old female. The only
- 14:53Speaker 1: suggestion I have is to go to him and have
- 14:56Speaker 1: a heart to heart and say, you're my dad. I
- 14:59Speaker 1: love you. Your an embarrassment to me, and I wish
- 15:02Speaker 1: you would be act more like a father than try
- 15:05Speaker 1: to act like a peer. I don't want to see
- 15:08Speaker 1: you in the club. I don't want you embarrassing me.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Would you focus on being my father before you ruin
- 15:14Speaker 1: our relationship. That's the only thing I could say. You
- 15:17Speaker 1: might contrive, all right, selo, thank you? Oh all right.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Spears in New Orleans says, I'm in my mid thirties
- 15:25Speaker 1: and I'm balding early, so I need your advice. I'm
- 15:30Speaker 1: a fairly large man, and I wear a lot of
- 15:32Speaker 1: hats to hide my thinning hair. I'm not secure enough
- 15:36Speaker 1: in my looks to go ahead and cut off all
- 15:38Speaker 1: my hair. Steve, I know you, Tommy and Jay are
- 15:41Speaker 1: all bald and you have nice shaped heads. If I
- 15:45Speaker 1: cut off my hair, I will look like mister potato head.
- 15:48Speaker 1: What inspired you to go bald? How can I get
- 15:51Speaker 1: that kind of confidence? Well, first of all, Spears, let
- 15:54Speaker 1: me help you out with. So you're thirty, you're not
- 15:59Speaker 1: comfortable with where you look, and you've got a little overweight.
- 16:04Speaker 1: So now use the big fat ball head ugly ass man.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Where does that say that? It's in the letter and
- 16:11Speaker 1: it's hidden. You have to know how to do this. Now,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I'm been fairly large man, fairly large. That's fat age.
- 16:18Speaker 1: When when a man saying I'm fairly large, what we're
- 16:22Speaker 1: saying an interpretation for a man is my ass is fat.
- 16:27Speaker 1: I'm a fact. There's nothing wrong with that. It's how
- 16:31Speaker 1: we are as men. You can't solve problems unless you
- 16:34Speaker 1: admit you have one. Now, he's not attractive. He didn't
- 16:40Speaker 1: say that. What what reading Readok? There you go right there?
- 16:48Speaker 1: What that means, Shirley, I'm not secure? What that's ugly?
- 16:56Speaker 1: That's what that is. See. I know what he's going
- 17:00Speaker 1: through because I did it. Listen to me, Spears, I
- 17:03Speaker 1: was not secure in my looks cause I was. I was.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I was ugly. I still am technically, but I have
- 17:15Speaker 1: fixed myself at the bank. I have fixed myself where
- 17:19Speaker 1: I'm perfectly comfortable with my fat, ugly age. Now listen
- 17:26Speaker 1: to me before this ball spot start doing some things
- 17:30Speaker 1: you don't want it to do. Spears, let it go,
- 17:33Speaker 1: don't fight it. Don't fight this. Am I right, Jake,
- 17:39Speaker 1: You're not going to win this fight. That bald is undefeated. Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 1: they have never lost. The matter ball has never lost.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Baldness has no cure even buy rogue. Ain't all you
- 18:00Speaker 1: want to You ain't been due. Have a little fuzz
- 18:02Speaker 1: in the top of your head. Dog, shave your head,
- 18:08Speaker 1: suck your stomach, get your first of all dolphin. Get
- 18:11Speaker 1: in the gym. You could do something about that. Get
- 18:14Speaker 1: in the gym. Watch what you eat. You a eighty
- 18:17Speaker 1: twenty died man, eighty percent healthy, twenty percent do like
- 18:21Speaker 1: you want to. One hundred and fifty minutes of cardio
- 18:24Speaker 1: a week. One hundred and fifty minutes of cardio a week.
- 18:28Speaker 1: That's thirty minutes, five days a week. You could do that.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Spirit easy. Yeah, don't matter how much you exercise, and
- 18:40Speaker 1: you're gonna be unattracted at least at least man be
- 18:51Speaker 1: cut and unattracted. Yeah, that'll get you somebody. Okay, fine,
- 18:57Speaker 1: hopefully that'll boost your confidence spirits? And can I add
- 19:00Speaker 1: one more thing? Yeah, if you have enough money. We
- 19:05Speaker 1: don't know what your money thing is right now? Don't
- 19:08Speaker 1: nobody care how much hair you got? Okay, trust you
- 19:12Speaker 1: on that. That's all right. So Jason, since you're since
- 19:17Speaker 1: you brought that up, why don't you go ahead? I
- 19:19Speaker 1: know you have a question for the clo you know,
- 19:21Speaker 1: I do you know how to do? How do you
- 19:25Speaker 1: break loose from a lady who's paying for every damn
- 19:29Speaker 1: thing everything you own, but you just don't like the relationship.
- 19:34Speaker 1: How do you break away? There's an old say yeah,
- 19:39Speaker 1: and I want you every man to listen to this. Okay,
- 19:44Speaker 1: you can't snatch your head out the lines mouth? What
- 19:51Speaker 1: does that mean? That down? You can't don't don't snatch
- 19:56Speaker 1: your head out the lines money. If your head is
- 19:58Speaker 1: in the line's mouth, you got to ease it out.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Don't jerk cause it bite down. Yeah, is in trouble.
- 20:08Speaker 1: You can't. You cannot snatch your head out the lions mouth.
- 20:13Speaker 1: So you got to ease out hand for everything. You
- 20:18Speaker 1: got to slowly start miss you got you got to
- 20:24Speaker 1: slowly form another relationship. You got you gotta eat. You
- 20:29Speaker 1: can't let her detect it because if she does that
- 20:36Speaker 1: sound Steven? All right, Cello, thank you as always for
- 20:43Speaker 1: your great advice, your fat, your ball hited, and your
- 20:46Speaker 1: cut up coming up next enough you Tommy's run that
- 20:51Speaker 1: frank back right after this you're listening to show coming

- 21:04Speaker 1: as well with today's run that frank back. What you
- 21:07Speaker 1: got for us? Now? My bones all week? Yeah, my
- 21:13Speaker 1: bones are weak and when they get weak? What happens
- 21:20Speaker 1: when your bones get weak? The word is weak. Yeah,
- 21:25Speaker 1: there's a lot of extra if they get weak. You
- 21:27Speaker 1: could make sandwiches with what my bone all week? Come on, okay, Hello, Hello,

- 27:14Speaker 1: Just look at it as if we're twins. The man,
- 27:17Speaker 1: I'm getting them up this phone because I don't know

- 29:55Speaker 1: back into that ignorance facts. Yea, he took us so
- 30:00Speaker 1: far back to the sixties. Really he did. He made
- 30:03Speaker 1: America great again for him and the white supremacist groups.

- 33:06Speaker 1: really hasn't been made, well I didn't know. All right.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Time now for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne Tripp,
- 33:14Speaker 1: thank you very much, and good morning everyone. On this
- 33:16Speaker 1: Friday morning. Tornadoes killed at least five people yesterday in Alabama,
- 33:21Speaker 1: and at least fourteen thousand people are without power this morning,
- 33:24Speaker 1: all of them in Calhoun County that's just a little
- 33:27Speaker 1: south of Birmingham. There may be more twistra activity, according
- 33:30Speaker 1: to forecasts in the area anywhere from Mississippi to Georgia
- 33:33Speaker 1: to Tennessee in Kentucky. So everybody in that area on
- 33:37Speaker 1: pins and needles this morning, and we certainly pray for them.
- 33:40Speaker 1: President Biden held his first news conference yesterday since becoming
- 33:43Speaker 1: commander in chief. Entity announced a newer any even the
- 33:45Speaker 1: more ambitious of COVID vaccination goal, two hundred million Americans
- 33:49Speaker 1: inoculated by the conclusion of his first one hundred days
- 33:51Speaker 1: in office. Mister Biden's first day to Goo, you may remember,
- 33:54Speaker 1: was to have one hundred million people given at least
- 33:57Speaker 1: one shot within a hundred days, but that feat was
- 33:59Speaker 1: accomplished early. The President also says he intends to attack
- 34:02Speaker 1: the problems of climate change, gun control, immigration reform, and
- 34:06Speaker 1: the crumbling or inadequate infrastructure we've got in this country,
- 34:09Speaker 1: which he says directly affects the ability and the availability
- 34:12Speaker 1: of good paying jobs, which he plans to address later today.
- 34:16Speaker 1: By the way, in Pittsburgh, what's the first thing the
- 34:17Speaker 1: business asked, what's the close access to the Interstate Highway?
- 34:21Speaker 1: How far am I from freight rail? There's enough water
- 34:24Speaker 1: available for me to conduct my business. All the things
- 34:27Speaker 1: that relate to infrastructure that's right, and mister Biden reacted
- 34:31Speaker 1: strongly by the Way over word that the Republican dominated
- 34:34Speaker 1: Georgia legislature had passed extremely restrictive voting laws and how
- 34:39Speaker 1: many other state lawmakers are planning to do the same thing.
- 34:41Speaker 1: He called it all sick. It's sick. It's sick. Deciding
- 34:46Speaker 1: in some states that you cannot bring water to people
- 34:51Speaker 1: standing in line waiting to vote, Deciding that you're going
- 34:55Speaker 1: to end voting at five o'clock when working people are
- 34:58Speaker 1: just getting off work, Deciding that there will be no
- 35:02Speaker 1: absentee ballots under the most rigid circumstances. The Republican voters
- 35:08Speaker 1: I know find this despicable. Republican voters. I'm not talking
- 35:13Speaker 1: about the elected officials. I'm talking about voters. This makes
- 35:17Speaker 1: Jim Crowe look like Jim eagle Man. This is gigantic
- 35:23Speaker 1: what they're trying to do, and it cannot be sustained well.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Officials for the Centers for Disease Controlled by the Way
- 35:30Speaker 1: say they have now identified and gotten rid of a
- 35:33Speaker 1: lot of guidance documents that were released by the Trump
- 35:35Speaker 1: administration that scientists say, we're not really based in science.
- 35:39Speaker 1: An internal review by the CDC sites three reports issued
- 35:42Speaker 1: by Donald Trump's Whitehouse that had to go part of
- 35:45Speaker 1: the agency's pledge to restore public's trust in the CDC. Finally,
- 35:49Speaker 1: the City of Boston scheduled to pay tribute today to
- 35:51Speaker 1: the late actor Lenda Nemo. Yeah, that one, mister Spock.
- 35:56Speaker 1: Lend Nimoy was born in Beantown March twenty sixth, nineteen
- 35:59Speaker 1: thirty one. He died in twenty fifteen. Not back to
- 36:01Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:06Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, introduce your bestie. He is here,
- 36:10Speaker 1: lady and gentleman. He's not my bestie, my boy, my dog,
- 36:16Speaker 1: my Homer, my way back, lady, gentleman Danthony Brown. All right,
- 36:21Speaker 1: I have written a song that's dedicated everybody. Now, I'm
- 36:26Speaker 1: not shut up. I've written the song who dedicated to
- 36:31Speaker 1: people who are waiting. That's what this song is about,
- 36:34Speaker 1: for those who are just waiting. Hit it dad. Hello,
- 36:41Speaker 1: Chanthony Brown's not here. I understand. I don't know where
- 36:45Speaker 1: he is. How can I help you? Yeah? Well, look
- 36:50Speaker 1: I heard he was in a hospital. Yes, he was
- 36:53Speaker 1: having his meat rotgency. He was born with his left
- 36:56Speaker 1: foot on the right side and the right foot on
- 36:58Speaker 1: the left side, and so this is a look at operation.
- 37:00Speaker 1: So I don't know when he'll be back, but I
- 37:02Speaker 1: haven't walked the money down there. When they get it,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you gotta go with my bike, tucking all the phone
- 37:09Speaker 1: calls that I get, he'll collectors bugging me. We're not
- 37:15Speaker 1: side for the mailman. It's been my routine for weeks,
- 37:21Speaker 1: thought about how stuff getting home, and I don't get
- 37:26Speaker 1: any pay. I'm gonna tell you, Joel, I can't take
- 37:31Speaker 1: it no more. And I need my own name. I
- 37:35Speaker 1: need to eat and I'm running low weed. What names
- 37:42Speaker 1: are your arm? What the hell's taking so long? I
- 37:48Speaker 1: really need my stamnless? What the hell's taking so long?
- 37:56Speaker 1: Tell me what the rains I are? I'm really standless.

- 38:27Speaker 1: knee damn lissen hit it seem singing. I know you
- 38:35Speaker 1: want to sing it, sing it. I really smile stupeless.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Somebody starting my pain waiting bother millbox to day? Am
- 38:51Speaker 1: I healing? Yeesmatly listen. Yeah, stupid is what we do.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Stupid is what we do here every day. You think
- 39:08Speaker 1: you think we're the best static guys. Girl, All right, listen, yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:19Speaker 1: talk about Krispy Kreme Donuts right after this. You're listening
- 39:23Speaker 1: to show. So we've all heard about Krispy Kreme Donuts.
- 39:29Speaker 1: They're giving away free donuts if you get a COVID
- 39:31Speaker 1: nineteen vaccine. Well, uh, Stephen, the guys are here with
- 39:36Speaker 1: more companies who could give away free stuff just like
- 39:39Speaker 1: krispy KREMEE take it away, guys. You know, Krispy Kreme
- 39:45Speaker 1: es is given away like Shirley said, oh, a donut
- 39:51Speaker 1: to anybody to show up with the COVID vaccination, you know,
- 39:55Speaker 1: to give you that call, right And yeah, I thought
- 39:58Speaker 1: this was nice. But we need some other companies to
- 40:02Speaker 1: fall along. We need some other folks to get in
- 40:05Speaker 1: so we can get more motivation for vaccine people. And
- 40:09Speaker 1: everybody can't get to a Chrispy Kree. But if Crown
- 40:13Speaker 1: Royal will sign up for this program, everybody get a
- 40:18Speaker 1: vaccine card, give them one of them free purple bags.
- 40:22Speaker 1: They glod and purple bags. We keep changing it. I'm
- 40:27Speaker 1: traveled with it, will keep my socks in it when
- 40:29Speaker 1: I'm playing Domino. Yeah, you gotta do some stuff. I
- 40:33Speaker 1: think another company that old black people, a lot of churches,
- 40:36Speaker 1: Chicken need to get involved with this hill. Everybody show
- 40:40Speaker 1: up with a vaccine car. You get a half of
- 40:42Speaker 1: wing cheches. That's a big ass wing, so that everybody
- 40:48Speaker 1: just a half of wing. Some people just like the
- 40:50Speaker 1: drum at, some people like the flats. It'll workout. Also, ladies,
- 40:55Speaker 1: you're not familiar with this, but at the gas stations
- 40:59Speaker 1: they sell sexual sexual enhancement peels for men, and the
- 41:05Speaker 1: big peel is called the Rhino peel. I think rhino
- 41:08Speaker 1: as many brothers. I haven't seen at the gas station.
- 41:11Speaker 1: And they wasn't even buying them Scratch scratching win cards either.
- 41:15Speaker 1: If you buy one, you get too rhino peels free.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Got your COVID vaccine. Yeah. Also, I tell you somebody
- 41:22Speaker 1: else to benefit it from black people to Paddy La Belle,
- 41:25Speaker 1: padded pies. Come on, Padded do what you need to do.
- 41:32Speaker 1: Here's a company make it all kind of money on
- 41:34Speaker 1: black folk. Nike, damn it, just do it. I'm mad
- 41:39Speaker 1: at that. Johnson and Johnson need to chip in with
- 41:44Speaker 1: a vaccination program. All that baby all they selling, They
- 41:48Speaker 1: sell them a little bit of travel baby AARs. Give
- 41:51Speaker 1: one of them away. Yeah, everybody like baby ards. Some
- 41:54Speaker 1: people just use it for feet, and I'm telling you
- 41:56Speaker 1: is other purposes. Trojan Trojan condoms need to help out.
- 42:03Speaker 1: We're trying to get people vascinated. Get vascinated. You get
- 42:06Speaker 1: one condom free, and if you do, I help with
- 42:13Speaker 1: your cutting down on the disease too, because if you
- 42:16Speaker 1: wear the condom, you'd be less people here to get
- 42:19Speaker 1: the damn COVID. I've been thinking about it. Yeah, got
- 42:26Speaker 1: just one last one. I think the folks that are
- 42:30Speaker 1: ky jelly are to get involved in what happened. Suggestion
- 42:36Speaker 1: just ky jelly. Yeah, I've never known anybody and use
- 42:41Speaker 1: a whole batt of k y really have anywhere you're
- 42:45Speaker 1: then you always spill something on you end and you
- 42:48Speaker 1: lead the top off and it didn't go bad, then
- 42:51Speaker 1: it ain't ky jelly no more. It's just kya. If
- 43:00Speaker 1: you need it top off, it go bad. They ain't
- 43:02Speaker 1: ky jelly no more k y because every time you

- 44:19Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. All right, guys. Coming up at the
- 44:23Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after, it's
- 44:26Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today. The subject praise and a raise.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Praise and a raise. We'll get into that, won't he
- 44:36Speaker 1: doing bony will We'll get into that in just a minute.
- 44:39Speaker 1: But right now the nephew is here with today's prank
- 44:42Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us? Neff A wedding
- 44:46Speaker 1: and a funeral that's too much a wedding and a
- 45:00Speaker 1: who try one on? Hey, hey, wedding. But I like
- 45:10Speaker 1: the way he gave he had to call he got
- 45:12Speaker 1: because he didn't had win all in the fact his
- 45:15Speaker 1: throat play it. Man, Let's go cat though, I'm not
- 45:23Speaker 1: gonna see it again. Hello, Ryan, Ali, I'm trying to
- 45:27Speaker 1: start Ryan, Ryan, how you doing, Hey, I'm good. Second,
- 45:31Speaker 1: this is Josh Josh over at see. I'm want to
- 45:33Speaker 1: be officials at the church where you guys are getting
- 45:36Speaker 1: married tomorrow? Yeah, yeah, how you doing? Man? They want
- 45:39Speaker 1: to thank y'all for that too, Man, we'll appreciate it. Sure. Yeah, well,
- 45:42Speaker 1: we definitely hope to make you a member here soon
- 45:44Speaker 1: or later since you guys are getting married. You know, hey, man,
- 45:48Speaker 1: you know I'm trying to get this worst schedule change up.
- 45:50Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. They got me working on
- 45:51Speaker 1: Sundays now, Man, So soon as I tweaked at the
- 45:54Speaker 1: mood that around a little bit, I'll be there. Okay, listen,
- 45:56Speaker 1: we have a bit of a situation that has come up.
- 45:59Speaker 1: We had some problems and miscommunication and it's definitely been
- 46:03Speaker 1: on the outside. They had your name Ryan down here
- 46:06Speaker 1: with your phone number as well as you're soon to
- 46:09Speaker 1: be wife Sonya. They had her name here, but we
- 46:12Speaker 1: didn't want to call her with this. We wanted to
- 46:14Speaker 1: just reach out and talk to you and see it.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Just make you ware of what was going on. Okay,
- 46:19Speaker 1: What's what's going on? Man? There's been a mix up
- 46:21Speaker 1: on on scheduling. I don't know if you know such
- 46:23Speaker 1: the Older make she passed away a week ago and
- 46:28Speaker 1: you're not You're not a member of the church, so
- 46:29Speaker 1: you wouldn't know it. But she's one of the one
- 46:31Speaker 1: of the oldest members here at the church. Such the
- 46:33Speaker 1: Older may passed away. And what's going on? Is you
- 46:37Speaker 1: all's wedding is tomorrow at twelve o'clock, right, but the
- 46:42Speaker 1: actual funeral is at three o'clock here at the church. Okay, uh,
- 46:48Speaker 1: but Shae begin brother with Josh Josh. Okay, look here,
- 46:53Speaker 1: brother Josh, um hey man, we we we already got
- 46:56Speaker 1: this thing in motion. Man, we didn't stand out. Dad.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Are two the limitations, man, I mean, blessed old man
- 47:03Speaker 1: and and and I understand that, but but but I mean,
- 47:06Speaker 1: you know, she's there's no way we could have moved
- 47:09Speaker 1: it around. Now. The biggest problem, the funeral home is
- 47:11Speaker 1: bringing the casket first thing in the morning. So what
- 47:14Speaker 1: I want, what I wanted to make you aware of,
- 47:16Speaker 1: and I didn't want you to tell your wife this,
- 47:18Speaker 1: but the actual casket will be in the saint uary,
- 47:21Speaker 1: but we will have it. Hold of man, are you serious? Now?
- 47:25Speaker 1: Look at the y'all need to move this round. I
- 47:28Speaker 1: don't know what y'all gonna do. Y'all have a fellowship
- 47:30Speaker 1: hall in the back or something like that. Ryan. The
- 47:34Speaker 1: only place we can actually put the casket, and if
- 47:37Speaker 1: we didn't put it there is in the actual room
- 47:39Speaker 1: that you'll you'll soon to be wife would be changing in.
- 47:41Speaker 1: That's the only place my wife infortually changing the room
- 47:45Speaker 1: with the dead body. So you're telling me what it was,
- 47:48Speaker 1: and you know what, I understood that. That's the first
- 47:50Speaker 1: thing I thought of. I thought. I said, let's just
- 47:52Speaker 1: put the casket way it goes for the fun of them,
- 47:55Speaker 1: and we're gonna cover it up and see. Basically, you
- 47:58Speaker 1: actually get in. But I can't even believe you call
- 48:02Speaker 1: on me with man, look at and excuse my french man. Yeah,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I knew I need to get back in the church.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I really do. But right now, Dug this ain't going
- 48:10Speaker 1: down like this man, we didn't already pay the money.
- 48:12Speaker 1: And first first, first of all, first of all, you
- 48:15Speaker 1: know she shouldn't. I don't even feel like she may
- 48:17Speaker 1: had to pay, you know, to hold no wedding over
- 48:20Speaker 1: a hut hurt where she paid times at. That's that's
- 48:23Speaker 1: the first thing. You know. I ain't like that from
- 48:25Speaker 1: the jumping. But I wouldn't hear when women because she
- 48:27Speaker 1: want her pasta to marry us. And now you got
- 48:29Speaker 1: to nerd to tell me that y'all will arrange something
- 48:32Speaker 1: that for funeral gonna happen the same day as my
- 48:34Speaker 1: wedding and my wife's got to get dressed in the
- 48:36Speaker 1: room with a dead body. Well, no, we're not gonna
- 48:39Speaker 1: put it in that room. Was like I said, I'm
- 48:41Speaker 1: putting that body first thing in the morning. I'm gonna
- 48:43Speaker 1: put that body in the right there in front of
- 48:46Speaker 1: the fullpit, and we're gonna cover it. Now, what you're
- 48:49Speaker 1: getting out of is you get more flowers, because there's
- 48:52Speaker 1: gonna be flowers from the fuel. So I'm thinking that's
- 48:55Speaker 1: probably gonna be a little bit of a pert point.
- 48:57Speaker 1: I just wanted you to be one's probably gonna be
- 48:59Speaker 1: more people than you think, because some of the people
- 49:02Speaker 1: that's gonna be as your wedding, it's really for the funeral. Hey,
- 49:06Speaker 1: hold on, man, are you serious? Frighten? Ow? I mean
- 49:09Speaker 1: looking at doctor. I didn't paid for the wedding happened
- 49:12Speaker 1: at this church, man, Okay, ain't And no disrespect to
- 49:15Speaker 1: the lady that has passed called blessed so family. I
- 49:17Speaker 1: ain't planning to not putting no dead body having a
- 49:21Speaker 1: funeral at my wedding. Man, that's crazy. Down on the
- 49:26Speaker 1: church too, sir. She's a member of the church too. Hey,
- 49:29Speaker 1: I don't give it. I don't being no member of
- 49:30Speaker 1: the church. Man. I didn't paid for this weid and
- 49:33Speaker 1: it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man, you my six and putting
- 49:36Speaker 1: new dead body if my wedding ran I mean, no disrespect,
- 49:45Speaker 1: but the woman has passed. She is not gonna get up.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I mean, what what is the problem. The problem is
- 49:50Speaker 1: your called me with this man the day before my
- 49:53Speaker 1: wed and we didn't schedule there six months ago. I
- 49:55Speaker 1: got to spend twenty five thirty thousand dollars on this
- 49:58Speaker 1: wed Okay, And are you're gonna tell me that we
- 50:00Speaker 1: got to share? I will win with a funeral, but
- 50:02Speaker 1: the Hillers won't with you. Man, do you want to
- 50:05Speaker 1: have you're winning as this church? I'll pay for them.
- 50:08Speaker 1: And what you meant, I'm having the wind? Okay, I'll
- 50:11Speaker 1: tell you what lift the boy the BP in the
- 50:12Speaker 1: morning I wrote in the right out to the street playing.
- 50:15Speaker 1: Y'all just say things in front and and and throw
- 50:17Speaker 1: flowers like throwing rice. But we're gonna have a win
- 50:21Speaker 1: inside the same yere tomorrow. I promise you that I care.
- 50:23Speaker 1: I care, assure you that it won't be I have
- 50:26Speaker 1: no other place to put the body. Okay, well I'll
- 50:29Speaker 1: bet y'all find someone to put it. If I get
- 50:31Speaker 1: that to mark. It's about it there. It's gonna be
- 50:33Speaker 1: a couple of about it in the name. You got
- 50:35Speaker 1: two choices to move that funeral or to reimburse me
- 50:39Speaker 1: back to thirty thousand dollars out of an hour to
- 50:40Speaker 1: spend those only two choices. I want to hear about it.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Meet me at the front door to night with a
- 50:45Speaker 1: thirty thousand dollars cash shar check. All we said to
- 50:47Speaker 1: have this winding up in that to morrow morning. You
- 50:49Speaker 1: heard me, I ain't playing. I ain't playing at all.
- 50:52Speaker 1: No jokes. That's wrong with y'all. Man, you can do
- 50:55Speaker 1: something else. I understand that nothing. I don't want to
- 50:58Speaker 1: hear from you. Man. All I'm saying is it's gonna
- 51:01Speaker 1: be a win at this church tomorrow without saying dead
- 51:05Speaker 1: about it. That's all I'm saying. Push it to the band. Man.
- 51:08Speaker 1: There's there's one more, a bit of an issue that
- 51:10Speaker 1: I need to tell you. Also, what can be worse
- 51:13Speaker 1: than the dead about it? What issue can be worse dead?
- 51:15Speaker 1: By that way? The man the issue, sir, that it
- 51:18Speaker 1: is worse than the dead body is. This is nephew
- 51:21Speaker 1: comment from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your best man,
- 51:25Speaker 1: Jeff got me the prank phone? Call you what you
- 51:35Speaker 1: know what? The man the bitch man about to get
- 51:37Speaker 1: the best bloop but he can possibly get man playing
- 51:42Speaker 1: then God lead the day. It is to get the
- 51:49Speaker 1: best beat down possible. Band. I'm telling you, hey, one
- 51:52Speaker 1: more question. What's the baddest radio show in the land? Ryan,
- 51:56Speaker 1: the Steve Harby Morning Show? Bad that is in the funeral?
- 52:05Speaker 1: Come on, wait where my fan fail? Where about it?
- 52:10Speaker 1: Hold up? Hold up, y'all, I don't I don't understand.

- 52:18Speaker 1: coming up. You're supposed to be queshipping my prank right now. Okay,

- 53:40Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. It is time now for today's Strawberry Letter.
- 53:45Speaker 1: And if you need advice and relationships, dating, work, sex,
- 53:49Speaker 1: parenting and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve
- 53:53Speaker 1: Harvey FM dot com and click submit Strawberry Letter. We

- 53:58Speaker 1: like this right here, right now. Yeah, buckle up and
- 54:05Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it is.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'm clean, hideous strawberry look. Thank you, nephew. Subject praise
- 54:18Speaker 1: and a raise. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty one
- 54:21Speaker 1: year old married woman and my marriage is basically over.
- 54:25Speaker 1: A year ago, a twenty four year old female called
- 54:27Speaker 1: me and said she's been sleeping with my husband and
- 54:30Speaker 1: sent me a picture of him in her bed. Right
- 54:33Speaker 1: after that, I had to be quarantined with this man,
- 54:36Speaker 1: so I made the best of it. By December, I
- 54:39Speaker 1: had started having virtual counseling sessions with my pastor. He
- 54:43Speaker 1: was one of the first to be vaccinated in our community,
- 54:46Speaker 1: so he encouraged me to do face to face sessions.
- 54:50Speaker 1: He told me to get myself together and tap into
- 54:52Speaker 1: my inner beauty and my great physique. He really helped
- 54:56Speaker 1: me change my mindset from victim to conqueror. He tell
- 55:00Speaker 1: me that he could show me how I should be loved,
- 55:02Speaker 1: and I went with it. At that point, I would
- 55:05Speaker 1: have done whatever he told me to do because he
- 55:07Speaker 1: had me under his spell. He started making passionate love
- 55:11Speaker 1: to me once a week, and it really helped my
- 55:13Speaker 1: self esteem. His love making gave me you heard me.
- 55:18Speaker 1: His love making gave me the courage to file for
- 55:21Speaker 1: divorce and ask for a raise at work. I never
- 55:26Speaker 1: used my femininity to my advantage. I dressed sexy for
- 55:29Speaker 1: my boss and asked him for the raise. He asked
- 55:32Speaker 1: me to show him why I deserved a raise, and
- 55:35Speaker 1: by the look on his face, I knew exactly what
- 55:37Speaker 1: to show him. He saw what he needed to see
- 55:40Speaker 1: and even got to rub it and bam, I got
- 55:44Speaker 1: a twenty percent raise. I know I sound trifling af
- 55:48Speaker 1: and that's fine. But men do what they do all
- 55:51Speaker 1: of the time, so why is it wrong if I
- 55:53Speaker 1: enjoy the game a little bit with them. The pastor
- 55:56Speaker 1: is married, but he is such a great lover. I
- 55:59Speaker 1: still see him occasionally for sex. He jokes that he's
- 56:02Speaker 1: created a monster, but I'm just glad. I got my
- 56:05Speaker 1: mojo back. I don't plan to keep this up forever,
- 56:09Speaker 1: but if I do, what's the worst that can happen?
- 56:11Speaker 1: Isn't this how the world works now? Just curious? Well
- 56:16Speaker 1: for starters, the worst that could happen is that you
- 56:18Speaker 1: could get killed and go to hell if his wife
- 56:22Speaker 1: caught you guys then decided to get revenge. You could
- 56:24Speaker 1: get killed Hell is for continually breaking the lord's commandment
- 56:28Speaker 1: to not commit adultree Or how about you could just
- 56:33Speaker 1: get a disease or something. I mean, there are a
- 56:35Speaker 1: lot of bad things that could happen to you. There
- 56:38Speaker 1: are a lot of bad things that could happen to you.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You're talking about what's the worst that could happen? So casually,
- 56:43Speaker 1: so cavalier with your attitude about this. Why don't you
- 56:46Speaker 1: why don't you stop now that you've gotten, as you say,
- 56:50Speaker 1: your mojo back, since that's what you were trying to do. Yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 1: leave the married pastor alone. I mean, you certainly didn't
- 56:57Speaker 1: like it when your husband was cheating on you, now,
- 56:59Speaker 1: did you? And the thing is with your boss, you
- 57:02Speaker 1: probably could have gotten a raise anyway without exposing yourself
- 57:06Speaker 1: to your boss. I mean, you don't have to do that.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Huh what I didn't hear you, Steve. I'm no, oh
- 57:20Speaker 1: not twenty percent. Well, anyway, you say the pastor's love
- 57:24Speaker 1: making gave you the courage to file for divorce and
- 57:27Speaker 1: ask for a raise at work, Okay, well, keep the
- 57:29Speaker 1: courage part of it, Keep the empowerment stuff you have
- 57:33Speaker 1: going on. All of that you could do all you
- 57:35Speaker 1: could still do all of that. But you know you
- 57:38Speaker 1: don't have to give yourself away like this. You know
- 57:43Speaker 1: you could be strong, you could be empowered, and you
- 57:45Speaker 1: don't have to do it this way. I still believe
- 57:47Speaker 1: you could have gotten the raise anyway, twenty percent or
- 57:51Speaker 1: whatever you want it. You know, if, if, if you're
- 57:53Speaker 1: the right kind of employee, you would have gotten it.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Believe more in yourself. You say you got your mojo back.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Make sure that you have your self esteem and don't
- 58:02Speaker 1: go out here and let people use you, all right,
- 58:04Speaker 1: don't do that, Steve, I see so much this lady
- 58:09Speaker 1: she tripping, She thirty one year old married woman. Twenty
- 58:12Speaker 1: four year old Lady Colin said she would to sleep
- 58:14Speaker 1: with her sent a picture to her, so now her
- 58:18Speaker 1: marriage is over it, but she had to quarantine with
- 58:20Speaker 1: the man. So she made the best of it. By December,
- 58:24Speaker 1: she started having virtual counseling sessions with her pastor. Then
- 58:28Speaker 1: she jumps and says, he was one of the first
- 58:30Speaker 1: to be vaccinated in our community, so he encouraged me
- 58:33Speaker 1: to do face to face sessions. Where did he get
- 58:35Speaker 1: the vaccine? I mean this was by December. I started
- 58:40Speaker 1: having virtual counseling session with the pastor. He was one
- 58:43Speaker 1: of the first to be vaccinated in our community, so
- 58:45Speaker 1: he encouraged me to do face to face sessions. When
- 58:47Speaker 1: did he get the vascine? Certainly this wasn't available back
- 58:52Speaker 1: in December. Nobody knew it but him. I'm just thinking
- 58:56Speaker 1: maybe she had been counseling for a while and then
- 58:58Speaker 1: he suggested to do face to face. He told me
- 59:02Speaker 1: to get myself together and tap into my inner beauty
- 59:07Speaker 1: and my great physique. What kind of counseling is this? Yeah,
- 59:13Speaker 1: who in the counseling meeting tells you to tap into
- 59:17Speaker 1: your inner beauty? Got that and your great physique? Damn
- 59:22Speaker 1: past He really helped me change my mindset from victim
- 59:26Speaker 1: to conqueror. Then she said, at that point, I do
- 59:30Speaker 1: whatever he told me. He started making passionate love to
- 59:33Speaker 1: me once a week, what women hold over? He told
- 59:38Speaker 1: me that he could show me how it could be loved.
- 59:40Speaker 1: And I went with it and and it changed me,
- 59:44Speaker 1: and it helped me because he had me on. He
- 59:47Speaker 1: started making passionate out to me once week and it
- 59:49Speaker 1: helped my self esteem. Helped your self esteem? No, he
- 59:53Speaker 1: helped himself. His love making gave me the courage to
- 59:57Speaker 1: file for divorce and ask for a raid. What did
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he do to you? And those two things don't go together?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: He did you so good you went in there, got
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a divorce and ask for a raise. I want to
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: know what did pastor do to you to make you jump?
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I'm on a damn divorce and damn it, give me
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: a raise too. Past hold that thought, Steve. We'll have
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: part two of your response coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject praise and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: a raise. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject praise and a raise,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Praise and raise. Here's the third one year old woman, Mary,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: twenty four year old woman sends her a picture of
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: her husband in bed with him. This starts the demise
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: of the marriage. Of course, their quarantine last year and
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: she hated it, but she started doing virtual counseling with
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: her pastor in December. He was the first one to
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: get fascinated, so he encouraged her to do face to
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: face sessions. I guess after a while he really did.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: He told me to get myself together, tap into my
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: inner beauty and my great physique. What pastor does this?
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: So this is Reverend Trickey. Reverend Tricky told her that,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: and then he said he really helped me change my
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: mindset from victim mc conqueror. He told me that he
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: could show me how I should be loved, and I
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: went with it. At that point I had done whatever
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: he did because he had me on this spell. Okay,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: he really helped you change your mindset. You don't see
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: him helping himself, all right. He started making passionate love
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: to me once a week, and it really helped my
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: self esteem. Really, it would help everybody's self esteem. I
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: bet it did a lot for the past and self
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: esteem too. I guess his counseling rage must have went
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: through the roof his love making gave me the courage
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to file for divorce and ask for a raise at work.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: What did this pastor do to you that was so outstanding?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I want to divorce Ana damn raised. Then she says,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: I never used my femininity to my advantage. I dressed
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: sexy for my boss and I asked him for the raise.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: He asked me to show him why I deserved the raise,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: and by the look on his face, I knew exactly
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: what to show him. He saw what he needed to
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: see and he even got to rub it and then bam,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: I got a twenty raised, sister, the pastor did all
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: this for you. All of this goes back to the
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: pastor raising yourself esteem or did he raise something else
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: in you? Because he seems to have brought out a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: devious side of you has nothing to do with self esteem,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: So I need I think you need to think about that,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: because you even said, I know I sound trifling, Alfie,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: and that's fine. But men do what they do all
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: the time, So why is it wrong if I enjoy
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the game a little bit with them? You wrote us,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: we didn't even know nothing about this. We didn't even know.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: We didn't know you was doing none of this. See,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: so now you you know this is wrong because you said,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: I know I sound trifling al and that's fine. But
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: men do what they do all the time. So why
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: is it wrong if I end joy the game a
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: little bit with them? Well, me and Sherley don't know you,
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: so we didn't know you was trifle. You just told
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: us you was trifling. Now we agree with you, But
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: this is all based on what you said. The past
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: is married. You think that's smart, But he is such
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: a great lover. I still see him occasionally for sex.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: He jokes that he created a monster. This funny to
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: the past man. I still okay, But I'm glad I
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: got my mojo back. You got what back. You was
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: fine before that. You had the same body before that.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You just didn't have this stupid attitude you got. That's
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: doing a lot of stuff that ain't gonna benefit you.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I don't plan to keep this up forever. When you're
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: gonna stop. See, once you start down the dark path
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and it gets you what you want. How you know
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: how many dudes I know that we're selling drugs, talking
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: about as soon as I buy this, I'm gonna stop.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: But if I do. What's the worst that can happen?
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Isn't this how the world works? Now? Just curious? Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: this is how the falling works now exactly. The falling
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: world works exactly like this. But that don't mean you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: have to be a participant. Now, what's the worst thing
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: can happen to you? Disease? What's the the worst thing?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: You get your ass? Will? Ye? Who's gonna whip your ass?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: The boss's wife, the pastor's wife. You can end up
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: in hell? See what your departure you're missing? The pastor
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: used you and deceived you to get what he wanted.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Now the part where he created a master. Now you're
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: doing what you want to do to get what you want.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: Ain't that how the world work? Well? Okay, well yeah,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: that's how the world work. Up. The world also climbs
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: the wall at the Capitol Building January six, The world
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: walks into a supermarket and kills ten people in Boulder, Colorado.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: The world goes into movie theaters and shoot people. The
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: world does a lot of things, But why would you
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: get involved with it? Just because you can do something
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: don't mean you should do something. That's right, young lady,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: you better get some morality in your life and really
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: get some self esteem about yourself and stop just passing
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: yourself out like it's popcorn. Because let me tell you
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: something about popcorn. All popcorn, even with the metal top own,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: it gets stale after while. Come on, big dog, once
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: she opened popcorn, it gets stale. That's rights hit popcorn,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: even if it's garrets. All right, Steve, thank you. Post
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: podcast on demand coming up at forty six minutes after
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: the hour. Our good friend Junior will be doing sports
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: in Sports Talk with Junior right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Junior is here with Sports Talk.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: What you got for us today, Junior? Okay, this is
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: this crazy? This is different. I'll just say that it's different.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: The Miami Heat are played in the open two sections
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: at American Airlines Arena for fans who are fully vaccinated.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: Now they are really redefining the VIP section. It's now
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: called the Vaccinated Important People's Section. It's still VIP. Yeah,
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you still have to wear a mask, but the social
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: distance rules have been a little more relaxed and in
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: those sections the floor seats. Wow, so all you have
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: to do with your show proof of your CDC vaccinated
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: car and you would give vaccinated wrist bands and then
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: you have a seat in the lower level. Now, if
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you want to sit on the floor in the vaccinated
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: fans section, you will still have to take a rapid
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: COVID test on site since you so close to the teams.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: But it's only two sections, that's it. It's not like,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: I mean, how big is two sections? What were talking about?
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Two hundred people? People? You know? Well, I mean you
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: know some people that take that, you know, just to
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: get back in the game, see something lives. They started
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: slowly opening this thing up. Yeah, they need to have
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: something down there for them people that was at the beach,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: is what I'm saying. Focus on the people, bring break
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: is all I'm saying. Well, we need to get that vaccinated.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: That's super spread of event. Yeah yeah, yeah, but I
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: think it's a good thing for the Miami Heat though.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I think it's good for basketball. We gotta slowly over
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: the backup. You're right, man, because I would love to
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: go to a game right now too. Man, You would,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I really would but if you're if you're in the
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: VIP section and you call one time, I thought that
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I thought it was to out. You gotta go. Just
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: your throat. If you clear to Yale for the team, Jake,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: let's go heat, you're out. Try to cover that. You
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: try to cover that with the here. Yeah, you gotta go.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: You gotta get money over here. We're not falling for that.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: That is not what we're doing. So when things do
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: open up, what's the first thing. Where's the first place
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: you're gonna go? I mean, is it gonna be to
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: a sports game, Junior? Or I want to live? What
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: about you, Steve, I'm gonna I want to go to
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: the restaurant Helpton with my wife m right man, and
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: we got to get this thing back. Oh yeah, get back.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: That's the only thing I missed going out to dinner.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: I don't go to the live shows. Hell, I've been
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: the live show for Yeah, you were for us the
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: majority of your life. You're still the show. I got
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: ve shows. Yeah, see a movie. Yeah, that's what I
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: want to do. All right? Coming up at the top
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: of the hours, Stay woke, Georgia voting rights are under attack.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: the Stay Harvey Morning Show. Well the Dirty South for real? Okay, yesterday,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: Republicans in Georgia passed a bill forcing new voting restrictions.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: The bill passed in the Georgia Senate thirty four to twenty,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and Governor Bryant Kemp signed it. According to CNN, the
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: law imposes new voter identification requirements for absentee ballots, empowers
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: state officials to take over local election boards, limits the
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: use of ballot drop boxes, and makes it a crime
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: to approach voters in line and give them food or water.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: The Georgia goops are calling it the Election Integrity Act.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: What do you guys think about that Election Integrity Act?
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: It's just blatant open voter suppression. And these folks man
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: will do anything and see now, so what they're gonna
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: do now is they're gonna limit the amount of voting boxes. Right. So,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: now that's gonna mean they're gonna condense the voting poles
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: down to smaller locations, which means longer lines. So now,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: if you can't bring anybody food to water, that discourages
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: some people to vote. You understand they're looking at all
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: they trying to do is find a way to get
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: twenty thousand disgrunted voters so they can turn to Georgia
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: state right back red like it was. And this is
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: how you just this is how you create twenty thousand disgruntable.
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: Not to mention the proof that you got to have
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: to vote in all this stuff that they're talking about.
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: They're finding the way to come up with the twenty
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: thousand votes so they can win. Man, this is like craziness, man,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: and that's nothing, no good control laws. But they Russian
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: to do this, Steve, I'm talking about right now. But
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I don't see how. There's got to be something. It's there.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: The bill is going to require a photo ID to
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: vote absentee by mail. So is the bill passed? Yeah,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: it's it's in. Yeah, I believe it is. Yeah, it's
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: the new bill. It is Steve yes yesterday and the
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: governor signed it. It's going to require photo ID to
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: vote absentee by mail, cut the time period voters have
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: to request an absentee ballot, and then limit where ballot
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: drop boxes can be placed and when they can be accessed.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: So I mean this is really yeah yeah, yeah, um
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: so we're gonna have to put water and food and
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: snacks and our purses. I look at it like this.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: What what they don't realize is black folks been standing
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: in line for a long damn time. We used to
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: standing in line waiting on something, so we don't really
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: have a problem. I mean, it's wrong, but we're not
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: gonna have a problem trying to vote your ass out.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: You gotta come better than that. If that's all you
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: got is to make us wait. Hell, we've been waiting
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: a long damn time, and we will wait ten hours,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: thirteen hours to vote your ass out, So you gotta
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: do better than that. Instead of them trying to bring
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: more people to that party, they want to stop the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: people who are against that party to vote that. I
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: don't think that's gonna work. It's work, because it's not
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: gonna work. We are going to prepare our people, Yes
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: we are. We're going to prepare our voters. We're going
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: to over educate them. We got we we got photo ID, Yes,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: we got water, we got all of us got that.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: You ain't gonna give us no water a dog. We're
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: gonna bring coolers down there. We could. What you're not
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: going to do next, you're not getting this power back.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: We've waited four hundred years to just be treated equal.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: We got eight hours to get your ass out. Yep,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: all facts upon anybody who's ever wrote the bus don't
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: mind waiting, damn it, So bring it. That's all you got.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: If that's all you got, come on, it's not gonna work.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna fight back,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: gonna backfire because yeah, we're going to vote and get
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: them out of office. It don't matter what you say,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: We're going to vote. All right, we'll have more of
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: today's trending stories at twenty minutes after the hour, right
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. All right. When we
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: left off, we were talking about this new Georgia law
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: trying to suppress our votes. Basically, that's what it is.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: You guys were saying, we've waited and we'll continue to wait.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Used to wait, We used to any lady. Black people
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: don't know about waiting. Any lady that's been to any
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: beauty shop head get their head done. No wait, look,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and I don't care what time your appointment is. You

- 1:15:32Speaker 1: it is the limo here? Are they hearing? Yeah, y'all
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: don't know the stuff we didn't had to wait on.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: If you hadn't ever been to a blues concert, you
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: know how long you haven't had to wait on? BB
