- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve to mother, stay, don't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn hur You got to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out. Turn love, got to turn them
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water. Y'all, come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your baby, I show. Well, come on and everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man, got a
- 2:12Speaker 1: radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling you? God
- 2:16Speaker 1: been big in my life. God, God is a gentleman.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You know. I want to I want to point that
- 2:21Speaker 1: out to you. God is an absolute gentleman. He will
- 2:26Speaker 1: not come in unless he's invited. He don't just barge
- 2:32Speaker 1: into your life. He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 1: You know. If you say you got it, I don't
- 2:39Speaker 1: need you. He let you have it. If you say
- 2:42Speaker 1: I need you, come see about me. He right there.
- 2:46Speaker 1: It's just a real simple thing. Man. So I always
- 2:50Speaker 1: say to people this, if you've gotten yourself into something,
- 2:55Speaker 1: and please know I have and see that. That's why
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'm so adamant about it, because I've gotten myself in
- 3:04Speaker 1: some circumstances and positions in my life. But I've been
- 3:08Speaker 1: I've I've had some low moments, man, I've had some
- 3:12Speaker 1: moments where I did not know what to do. I
- 3:17Speaker 1: didn't know what was next, I didn't know how to
- 3:20Speaker 1: go about it. I didn't have no more ideas. I
- 3:24Speaker 1: was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well might
- 3:31Speaker 1: not make it past this one. But then if I
- 3:34Speaker 1: don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And then
- 3:37Speaker 1: I held on to this little thing that my mother
- 3:40Speaker 1: kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes when you
- 3:43Speaker 1: ain't got nothing else in you, just hope, she said,
- 3:47Speaker 1: just hope it'll be all right, you know. And what
- 3:50Speaker 1: I've learned in my life is that hope. It's the
- 3:53Speaker 1: beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility
- 3:59Speaker 1: out there for me? I sure hope something happened. See hope,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Hope it's okay, man, Because like I said, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 1: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 1: of faith. It was just the idea. It's just the
- 4:16Speaker 1: thought that something could change from me, that something could
- 4:20Speaker 1: be a little bit different from me that maybe, man,
- 4:23Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved. I
- 4:29Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:34Speaker 1: an the other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say
- 4:44Speaker 1: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the
- 4:47Speaker 1: times I've been in that position. But then once I
- 4:51Speaker 1: hope a little bit, and then I remember also my mother,
- 4:54Speaker 1: because she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me
- 4:57Speaker 1: the most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.
- 5:04Speaker 1: She taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when
- 5:08Speaker 1: it get real, dog for your son, prayd changes things,
- 5:13Speaker 1: she said, When you seem like you lost and you
- 5:15Speaker 1: can't finding your way, stop and pray, she said, because
- 5:20Speaker 1: prayd changes things. You know, when you get a point
- 5:24Speaker 1: in your life when you've done all you can do
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you can't do no more and you just don't
- 5:28Speaker 1: know what to do next, she says, stop, so pray
- 5:34Speaker 1: and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:39Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:42Speaker 1: She said, if you pray just hoping, she's saying that
- 5:46Speaker 1: God come through for you. That will give you confidence
- 5:50Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
- 5:53Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, She's saying, you started believing. She saying,
- 5:58Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
- 6:02Speaker 1: that hope into belief, that hope into faith, that's that's
- 6:12Speaker 1: the ability to believe in something that you can't see.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But the key though the faith is you're believing in
- 6:19Speaker 1: something that you can't see see hoping a little bit
- 6:23Speaker 1: different from me now, I'm pretty sure. Like I say,
- 6:25Speaker 1: oftentimes to tell a lot of people who can explain
- 6:28Speaker 1: this thing a lot better than I can to you hope.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's just kind of I don't know how to I
- 6:33Speaker 1: don't know how to say it. But I'm just telling
- 6:35Speaker 1: you hope. You're just hoping it worked out right. You
- 6:38Speaker 1: just have a thought in your mind that you know, man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: whoever you are, or whoever you are, whatever you are,
- 6:45Speaker 1: to me, God, I show hope something change. Hope helps. Man.
- 6:51Speaker 1: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope,
- 6:57Speaker 1: and then if you pray with some hope and God
- 7:01Speaker 1: answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 7:07Speaker 1: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't
- 7:13Speaker 1: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing it's something that
- 7:17Speaker 1: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 7:25Speaker 1: entire existence, even when I didn't have any It was faith,
- 7:32Speaker 1: as I look back on it, that has gotten me here.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And not just faith, but my faith. See, you will
- 7:43Speaker 1: only get to where you're going in your life based
- 7:47Speaker 1: on your faith. See. A lot of people get the
- 7:53Speaker 1: word faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they
- 7:56Speaker 1: started going down this whole list of all these different
- 7:59Speaker 1: religions out here. But really an essence, man, when I
- 8:03Speaker 1: talk to people about faith, I'm talking to you about
- 8:06Speaker 1: your your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:15Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:19Speaker 1: me today. It is the faith that I have in
- 8:23Speaker 1: my relationship with God that enables me to just oftentimes,
- 8:30Speaker 1: if I stay on the right course and believe a
- 8:33Speaker 1: certain way and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 1: They just come. And it comes in a lot of
- 8:43Speaker 1: little ways too. I've started to notice, See it ain't
- 8:46Speaker 1: just a lot of people think blessings is money. And now, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that ain't it. It's coverage. It's every time my plane
- 8:53Speaker 1: lands safe. It's every time they predict bad weather and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I get up in the sky and it don't be
- 9:00Speaker 1: no bad weather. You know this. This is favor. These
- 9:05Speaker 1: are blessings that get poured out to me. Somebody call
- 9:08Speaker 1: me and offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See,
- 9:15Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:19Speaker 1: into God. Once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:23Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:26Speaker 1: him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:30Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:36Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:39Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:41Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Come on? Why why would you not change? Why would
- 9:48Speaker 1: you not allow God to be a part of your life?
- 9:51Speaker 1: God got some big plans for you. If he didn't,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: boys and girls, pets, animal trainers, members of Peter. I
- 10:13Speaker 1: have you undivided attention, please, this is the Steve Harvey
- 10:17Speaker 1: Morning Show, and I'm doing this show in alligator shoes.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Good morning, sir, Good morning Steve, with your alligators shoes.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I'm calling Peter. You don't I already talk to me
- 10:32Speaker 1: about that, and I'll explained to him alligators. So get
- 10:37Speaker 1: away from me with all that. And we've since been
- 10:42Speaker 1: on speaking terms. Caller for Red Okay, that logic. Okay,
- 10:55Speaker 1: Junior president of Peter, Jeff Flow his eyes and Jens
- 11:01Speaker 1: m and the new few the food years are got
- 11:08Speaker 1: the Mari's on Baby Mary's. That's the first introduced me
- 11:13Speaker 1: to Maris came out. You couldn't tell me when I
- 11:17Speaker 1: got my first pair of Maris. I know exactly when
- 11:20Speaker 1: it was, man, it was about I was gonna showtime
- 11:23Speaker 1: about nineteen ninety one. Two when I got my first
- 11:27Speaker 1: pair of Maris. Might have been ninety three. That's a brand,
- 11:34Speaker 1: uh huh, the hood version of the most the greatest
- 11:40Speaker 1: shoe you could have put on your foot. You couldn't be.
- 11:44Speaker 1: You couldn't beat it, Mary, Mary man like might the
- 11:49Speaker 1: fact you are taking me to up to see the
- 11:57Speaker 1: Slickers and I couldn't afford one fan Detroit in Detroit,
- 12:03Speaker 1: Hey Tommy in Houston, y'all had a place that called
- 12:07Speaker 1: the Shops town Mall. Yeah, yes, boy, y'all had a
- 12:11Speaker 1: store in there. I can't remember the store star with
- 12:13Speaker 1: the g I think Georgie Board Georgio boy. I would
- 12:20Speaker 1: have been George Old's boy. And you know I had
- 12:22Speaker 1: money then. Boy, you couldn't talk Tommy. I was in
- 12:27Speaker 1: there with Jathony Brown one day. Jay said, look at
- 12:29Speaker 1: his ass all up in the wall. I was they
- 12:33Speaker 1: had all the money, dog, dog, they had all the
- 12:36Speaker 1: gators on the wall. Did Jay said, look at his
- 12:39Speaker 1: ass all up in that wall? Six six six pound?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Because every color I wore. One night at the Arena
- 12:52Speaker 1: Theater in Houston, I wore a pink suit with white pinstripes.
- 13:00Speaker 1: This show, I found some pink gatos. Boy many boy
- 13:09Speaker 1: sure that was at this show. Came down a whole
- 13:12Speaker 1: walkway and I was like, oh, hey, no, yeah, you
- 13:16Speaker 1: gotta come down that out. You're coming down between every dog.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I had a smoke machine. Yeah with this story, cheese,
- 13:30Speaker 1: all right, all right, we'll be back with more of
- 13:33Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after you're listening to
- 13:38Speaker 1: the Steven Show. All right, Sometimes we all find ourselves
- 13:43Speaker 1: in a conversation, okay, be a political, scientific, educational, financial,
- 13:48Speaker 1: even hip hop pop culture based conversations where we just
- 13:52Speaker 1: have no clue I mean clue less to what the
- 13:56Speaker 1: person is talking about. Okay, so so for sure to
- 14:00Speaker 1: do with sports busted. So do you guys chime in
- 14:05Speaker 1: and ask people to to get you up to speed
- 14:09Speaker 1: or do you just uh nod in agreement like you know,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know, like I actually get into conversation. I wanted
- 14:15Speaker 1: to start with you. Yes, I don't get into contract
- 14:19Speaker 1: like bringing up a subject or you know, I ain't
- 14:22Speaker 1: got nothing now, I don't know nothing about it. Engineering
- 14:27Speaker 1: making a bridge, oh man, you know me and my
- 14:31Speaker 1: father man used to work construction. You know, I used
- 14:33Speaker 1: to work on bridge. We had the cracks in the bridge,
- 14:37Speaker 1: so I knew all about the structural design over bridge.
- 14:41Speaker 1: What called the fracture space is in't it? I just
- 14:44Speaker 1: didn't like that. Yeah, did you or your father go
- 14:47Speaker 1: to engineering school? I mean engineering and construction company? Or no? No, no, no, no,
- 14:56Speaker 1: Now we work for this company. Frank buddy, Frank buddy. Contract.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Have you ever driven over a bridge? Oh? Yeah, I've
- 15:02Speaker 1: been a lot of bread. That's how we knew how
- 15:04Speaker 1: they cracked. You know, structural in nearing position is what
- 15:07Speaker 1: we would take hold was the uprooted problem that diverted
- 15:11Speaker 1: the situation into a cracking. At first, he sounds good.
- 15:17Speaker 1: It was like a board game, like the go ahead,
- 15:20Speaker 1: going car. I was gonna ask him, though, surely, so,
- 15:24Speaker 1: how would you what would you recommend to update a bridge? Well,
- 15:27Speaker 1: I think update is a very very bridge. Golden Bride
- 15:32Speaker 1: Bridge has been needing to update and repairing. You have
- 15:35Speaker 1: been several earthquakes as we reading the foundation. But I
- 15:38Speaker 1: think what we're gonna have to do is we're gonna
- 15:40Speaker 1: have to do a section at the time. I think
- 15:41Speaker 1: we're gonna to break that bridge in half. So we
- 15:43Speaker 1: had just one way traffic over one way, and then
- 15:46Speaker 1: once you get the one one lane blocked off and
- 15:48Speaker 1: then you can do the restructure work on the other side,
- 15:51Speaker 1: and then you reinforce it up under with wealthing beams
- 15:54Speaker 1: and now to join them back together that way to
- 15:56Speaker 1: fix that whole thing you mentioned earthquakes. Um, I was wondering.
- 16:02Speaker 1: You know, we're out here in La what you know
- 16:05Speaker 1: A lot of seismatologists have been on the news lately
- 16:08Speaker 1: saying there's a possibility that there could be an earthquake
- 16:11Speaker 1: coming up soon. You agree with that? Four point seven?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Four point seven? What are you basing that on? Yeah?
- 16:19Speaker 1: Lands was four point six you predict? Are you a seismatologist?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Buy any chance? So you have you know anybody that is? No,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'm a quake intologist. Yea, so far, so good. Yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: anything just anything I couldn't got, can get right with it.
- 16:48Speaker 1: In houses, houses, you know a lot about house. Yeah.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I grew up in a housing project. Slogist, I meant seismologists.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Seis aolog. See That's why I said quake, because I
- 17:03Speaker 1: knew you didn't know what you're go ahead, you know
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know anything about designing airplanes? Oh? Absolutely? Absolutely? You
- 17:13Speaker 1: mean like the engines and stuff are inside, which, well,
- 17:17Speaker 1: let's go be yet. Rose Ross is number one engine
- 17:23Speaker 1: manufacturer of or jet planes in the world right now,
- 17:26Speaker 1: now that I believe, No, that's from you, Yeah, I
- 17:29Speaker 1: believe Rose Roats is number one jet manufactur of engine
- 17:33Speaker 1: parts and motors in the world today. And so whatever
- 17:38Speaker 1: I'm picking out a plane, always go Rose. Okay, what's
- 17:42Speaker 1: the best feat to get up um altitude? Or you're
- 17:47Speaker 1: going to fly at least thirty three thousand but you
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the war substantial plane you can get up to
- 17:53Speaker 1: forty nine thousand, which did. At that point you can
- 17:56Speaker 1: see the curvature of the Earth. Yeah, I cannot argue it.
- 18:01Speaker 1: There you up there in heaven on if you forty
- 18:03Speaker 1: nine thousand feet in the G five you could see
- 18:06Speaker 1: the curvature of the Earth ahead the planet that you
- 18:10Speaker 1: can see that the world is round? Wow, No, and
- 18:15Speaker 1: that's a factor. Really, I can't argue with you because
- 18:19Speaker 1: I have new I at three thousand altitude, Yeah, will
- 18:25Speaker 1: need anything. Well, what do you think about these people
- 18:27Speaker 1: speaking of that thing? You're talking about the world and
- 18:29Speaker 1: the earth and planet? What about? What do you think
- 18:31Speaker 1: about these people that are now saying that Earth is flat?
- 18:34Speaker 1: They're coming out saying that. Oh they say that because
- 18:37Speaker 1: they ain't never been up forty nine thousands. I see
- 18:40Speaker 1: all they've been on the delta. Don't do for nine thousands.
- 18:47Speaker 1: You got to get on something else here. And I'm
- 18:48Speaker 1: talking about most people talking about the world is flat
- 18:51Speaker 1: just shear ignorance. Yeah, if the world is flat, how
- 18:56Speaker 1: come China over that? It ain't make it dope. We
- 19:01Speaker 1: gotta be able to see Chin if it was flat.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I like thinking or you can drive over there to it.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Yeah right, what do you the world was flat, you
- 19:11Speaker 1: wouldn't have to worry about it wouldn't have to be
- 19:13Speaker 1: no time zone change because it's gonna get half the
- 19:15Speaker 1: world would be light. At the same time, I'm dropping knowledge.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm saying I think he the card is tilted in
- 19:23Speaker 1: his zwn sphere and it rotates. You'll never get that.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Cord of the world is always different from those three four.
- 19:29Speaker 1: But I do like daylight savings time though. Whatever, Well,
- 19:33Speaker 1: they're not gonna do that anymore. They're gonna cut that out,
- 19:36Speaker 1: cous farmer. Ain't whether you used to be in the
- 19:37Speaker 1: United States, man, but they don't do daylight saving the
- 19:40Speaker 1: way else. Put over here, let's review. So you knew
- 19:43Speaker 1: about bridges, everything about earthquake, yeah, times, yeah, And that's
- 19:50Speaker 1: why I just get with anybody real quick, anything come
- 19:53Speaker 1: a half. Global warming, global warming, it's happy. I don't
- 19:58Speaker 1: ever damn what It's true. It's happening, and it ain't
- 20:02Speaker 1: got nothing to do with the cold weather like his
- 20:03Speaker 1: stupid ass steak, nothing at all. Global warming is real.
- 20:08Speaker 1: It's melting the glaciers at an uncommonly rapid pace, thus
- 20:12Speaker 1: producing more. Weather change is globally because the moisture is
- 20:16Speaker 1: now a conversation is forming in a cloud formation and
- 20:19Speaker 1: giving us a radic weather in places that we wouldn't
- 20:21Speaker 1: normally have it. Thus, global warming is real and it
- 20:25Speaker 1: Glaciers are decreasing at point seven inches pern seven inches
- 20:30Speaker 1: every six months. You've been Yeah, you've been watch I
- 20:38Speaker 1: watched National Geographic, did you? And I'm not a weather man.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Coming up next, more fun with the nephew, run that
- 20:48Speaker 1: brank back right after this you're listening show Coming up
- 20:54Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Miss Anne will be
- 20:56Speaker 1: here with today's national news and headlines. But right now
- 21:00Speaker 1: it's time for the nephew to run that brank back. Well,
- 21:03Speaker 1: you know, Shirley Love is in the air. Day's titles
- 21:07Speaker 1: I miss your wife. Oh Mike, I'm gonna say it

- 22:05Speaker 1: dry stuff to uh the grocery stores. Yeah, you're saying
- 22:09Speaker 1: you gotta take care of the city. You know. I
- 22:11Speaker 1: gotta get out of here, man. I feel good about it.
- 22:13Speaker 1: The only thing gets putting my putting my health out
- 22:16Speaker 1: there on the side on the line. Man. But but
- 22:18Speaker 1: for for the good of the people, so I can't play.
- 22:20Speaker 1: But again, how could how can I help you? Bro? Man?
- 22:24Speaker 1: I was just called like you know, I mean, I

- 22:34Speaker 1: a couple of my partners, you know, I checked on
- 22:36Speaker 1: some some of them kind of sick. So I'm just
- 22:39Speaker 1: just making my rounds. Man. I had a holiday child

- 29:12Speaker 1: wheel wedge. Stop. We will do the damn thing because
- 29:15Speaker 1: we're all comedians. All right, here we go. Things you
- 29:18Speaker 1: say to people who show up unexpected and you don't
- 29:22Speaker 1: want them there. Oh, here's another one. Things you say
- 29:26Speaker 1: at a cheaply put together funeral. Please land on now.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Things things you say to people who have gained weight
- 29:35Speaker 1: but you don't want to say anything, ok uh huh.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And things you say to apologize after you've made a
- 29:41Speaker 1: complete fool of yourself. Come on, let's go. That's let's gill.
- 29:51Speaker 1: It's gonna be fun. Oh, I wasn't expecting this. Things
- 29:58Speaker 1: you say to people who show up unexpected and uh,
- 30:01Speaker 1: you don't want them there. I got it. Let me
- 30:04Speaker 1: start it, okay, Oh man, you just got the movers

- 30:09Speaker 1: was coming. Man, we're moving. We're moving. Man, you need
- 30:15Speaker 1: to know you're coming. Things you say to people who
- 30:21Speaker 1: show up unexpected and you don't want them there. I
- 30:24Speaker 1: love it. Hey, hey, hey, that's that's flower, not cocaine.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Just when you're at the wrong house. My grandmother holiday out.
- 30:35Speaker 1: I killed myself. That's flower, not cocaine. You at the
- 30:40Speaker 1: wrong house. Hey, I thought you was the police. They

- 31:03Speaker 1: All right, man, you come on here, but look, don't
- 31:07Speaker 1: set nothing down because we got an infestation in here. Everything.
- 31:15Speaker 1: Just don't set nothing again. We got a real bad infestation.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Come on, yeah, but you come on. They just said
- 31:25Speaker 1: the people you don't want him now. Man, you picked
- 31:28Speaker 1: the great week because this is the week we tell
- 31:30Speaker 1: everything out and we just sit in the house and meditate.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I here. Man, oh man, you just showed him now, okay, cool, cool,
- 31:44Speaker 1: come on here, I got you, I got you. Hey,
- 31:46Speaker 1: you're gonna let your car park right there. I ain't
- 31:53Speaker 1: gonna be able to watch it. What makes sure it's
- 31:54Speaker 1: gonna be right there? Okay, come on, tell hey, come
- 32:01Speaker 1: on in. Man, Hey, this is uh, this the day
- 32:04Speaker 1: we normally walk around naked around here, but you know
- 32:08Speaker 1: every day we you know, we want a week we
- 32:10Speaker 1: do a naked thing. Come on, keep close it out.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Things you say to people who show up at your
- 32:20Speaker 1: house unexpectedly and you don't want them there, yeah, Steeve,
- 32:29Speaker 1: Oh mom, man, damn y'all. Hell, hey, listen, come on in.
- 32:34Speaker 1: We all hell, this is I can't wait to share
- 32:39Speaker 1: this with you. We all just joined a coltfriend. Don't
- 32:52Speaker 1: kick over none of them candles on the floor, right, Steve.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Let's get to the news. Ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp, Okay,
- 33:06Speaker 1: I got one stick around. Here's your hat. This is
- 33:09Speaker 1: a troop with the news. I know people in Texas,
- 33:12Speaker 1: which they could say that to. The huge Arctic air
- 33:14Speaker 1: mass pounding them began extremely cold temperatures with snow and
- 33:18Speaker 1: ice actually to a large swath of the country. Winter
- 33:21Speaker 1: storm watches stretched from Seattle all the way to the
- 33:23Speaker 1: Texas border for the first time in years over the weekend.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Governor Greg Abbott says the roads of the Lone Star
- 33:29Speaker 1: State are just awful and about a million people are
- 33:32Speaker 1: without power there this morning. Well, I know, you know.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Donald Trump was acquitited of inciting the last month's Capitol
- 33:37Speaker 1: Hill riot. However, House impeachment managers don't see Senate Republicans
- 33:41Speaker 1: refusal to hold him accountable of failure because, as lead
- 33:44Speaker 1: prosecutor Jamie Raskin tell's NBC's Meet the Press, it feels
- 33:48Speaker 1: they made their case to the nation. It was the
- 33:50Speaker 1: largest impeachment conviction vote in US history. It was by
- 33:54Speaker 1: far the most bipartisan, with a fifty seven to forty
- 33:58Speaker 1: three vote. I think that we successfully prosecuted him and
- 34:02Speaker 1: convicted him in the court of public opinion and in
- 34:04Speaker 1: the court of history. He's obviously a major political problem
- 34:08Speaker 1: for the Republican Party, and as long as he's out
- 34:10Speaker 1: there attempting to wage war on American constitutional democracy, he's
- 34:14Speaker 1: a problem for all of US. GOP leader Mitch McConnell
- 34:16Speaker 1: did a strange thing. First of all, he votes to
- 34:18Speaker 1: a quit, but then turns around and says this, there's
- 34:21Speaker 1: no question gone their President Trump is practically and morally
- 34:27Speaker 1: responsible for provoking the event of the day, no question
- 34:32Speaker 1: about it. Again, Yet he voted to a quit and
- 34:35Speaker 1: also he held off to hearing so that he waited
- 34:37Speaker 1: until Donald Trump was no longer president anyway, McConnell adds
- 34:41Speaker 1: that Donald Trump didn't get away with a thing yet
- 34:44Speaker 1: because now, as an ordinary citizen, McConnell says, quote, we
- 34:47Speaker 1: have a criminal justice system in this country, we have
- 34:49Speaker 1: civil litigation, and former presidents are not immune to being
- 34:53Speaker 1: accountable by either one. Of course, that's true. In fact,
- 34:58Speaker 1: the ex Commander Chief faces a bunch of legal and
- 35:00Speaker 1: several ongoing investigations, with a Biden administration going full telt
- 35:04Speaker 1: against the Corona virus. Health officials say that an ad
- 35:08Speaker 1: the average number of COVID nineteen cases in the US
- 35:11Speaker 1: now has dropped below one hundred thousand for the first
- 35:15Speaker 1: time in months, and the sad news, Bishop Frederick Casey
- 35:19Speaker 1: Price did succumb to COVID nineteen over the weekend. He
- 35:23Speaker 1: was eighty nine years old. You remember, on Friday we
- 35:25Speaker 1: were asking for your prayers for this wonderful man, this
- 35:28Speaker 1: important man, this man who really invented telev televangelism. His
- 35:33Speaker 1: family says the virus ravaged his heart, his lungs, his kidneys.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Bishop Casey Price was one of the first televangelists, if
- 35:40Speaker 1: not the first, from his Crenshaw Christian Center out in
- 35:43Speaker 1: LA also known as the Faith Dome. It was founded
- 35:46Speaker 1: in Los Angeles in nineteen seventy three. Bishop Price preached
- 35:49Speaker 1: the prosperity gospel, in other words, how to deal with
- 35:52Speaker 1: faith and money. The only reason you're going to work.
- 35:55Speaker 1: People don't even like what they do, but most people
- 35:57Speaker 1: don't because before I got into ministry, not like nothing
- 36:02Speaker 1: that I would do it. Bishop Frederick Casey Price national
- 36:04Speaker 1: TV broadcast began in nineteen seventy eight. Among those he
- 36:07Speaker 1: reportedly inspired Creeflow Dollar. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:10Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening, all right, So, Steve, we had
- 36:16Speaker 1: a question for the clo. Actually it's from a twenty
- 36:19Speaker 1: three year old woman. Her name is Linthia from Chicago.
- 36:23Speaker 1: She's a virgin. She said she's had the absolute worst
- 36:26Speaker 1: experiences with dating. When the topic of sex comes up,
- 36:30Speaker 1: the guys usually run. Her most recent experience was with
- 36:34Speaker 1: a guy that she had been dating for three months.
- 36:37Speaker 1: They had the sex talk, but he didn't pressure her
- 36:39Speaker 1: about it, so she didn't tell him that she was
- 36:42Speaker 1: a virgin until the very last minute when they were
- 36:45Speaker 1: about to do the deed. She says, I told him
- 36:49Speaker 1: it was my first time, and he laughed hysterically at me,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and he didn't believe me because I was acting so
- 36:55Speaker 1: dominant the whole time. He told me that he didn't
- 36:58Speaker 1: want a girl that didn't know what she was doing.
- 37:01Speaker 1: She says, I was ashamed and I left his house
- 37:04Speaker 1: and he hasn't called me since. I don't want to
- 37:07Speaker 1: be a virgin anymore. But why is it so hard
- 37:10Speaker 1: to find a good guy to help me out? Well,
- 37:13Speaker 1: you know, it's the same problem that every woman has
- 37:16Speaker 1: in finding a great guy. That's the number one thing
- 37:20Speaker 1: with most women who don't have anybody. It's finding a
- 37:24Speaker 1: great guy. You'll have a guy that'll that'll be the
- 37:29Speaker 1: right guy for you, that'll be patient, which you take
- 37:31Speaker 1: his time with you, be understanding and want you all
- 37:35Speaker 1: in want. You just haven't met the guy yet, and
- 37:38Speaker 1: if you keep having the same experiences, it could possibly
- 37:42Speaker 1: be with the way you're breaking the news and how
- 37:45Speaker 1: you're explaining the news. Maybe your approach to expressing yourself
- 37:50Speaker 1: is a little bit off because a dude that kicks
- 37:53Speaker 1: you out because I want somebody know what he's doing.
- 37:56Speaker 1: He just wants somebody. That's freaky, that's all it was.
- 38:00Speaker 1: And Steve the fact that she just doesn't want to
- 38:02Speaker 1: be a virgin anymore. I mean, right, reason, yeah, just
- 38:07Speaker 1: I mean as you Yeah, you know you're not. You
- 38:12Speaker 1: don't want to be a virgin anymore. That's your decision.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I can't not the one to tell you to hang
- 38:18Speaker 1: on to you're married, because if you've made that your mind,
- 38:22Speaker 1: why why would I tell you anything else? You know?
- 38:24Speaker 1: But you haven't found mister Wright. You're twenty three years old.
- 38:29Speaker 1: You're still very young. Please take the pressure off yourself
- 38:33Speaker 1: because you got the rest of your life not to
- 38:36Speaker 1: be a virgin. You ain't out of time, No, Tommy,
- 38:40Speaker 1: anything you want to say? Oh no, no, no, no, no, sir,
- 38:44Speaker 1: No fairly? Why you how you answering for me? Sir? Yeah, sure,
- 38:50Speaker 1: it's it's the best thing to do with this moment.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Trust me. I'm sirt I'm smart. H Stop you got
- 38:58Speaker 1: another question, Tommy. I don't think Shirley's gonna let you
- 39:02Speaker 1: interject here. You don't realize how smart I am. That's
- 39:06Speaker 1: exactly right. That is right there, nailed exactly right, all right?
- 39:13Speaker 1: Coming up next more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 39:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, Steve, you guys are here.
- 39:23Speaker 1: You gotta tell us you have some ways to know
- 39:25Speaker 1: if you've been fired? Right, Yeah. I think if you
- 39:28Speaker 1: pull up in the parking lot in your pocket space
- 39:30Speaker 1: has a trash dumpster in it, I think your ass
- 39:35Speaker 1: is about out. Okay, that's a real good one. I
- 39:38Speaker 1: think if you go to work and everybody asks you, man,
- 39:41Speaker 1: will what you're doing here? Your ass has been what
- 39:46Speaker 1: you're doing? Yeah? Hell god, what what's what are you?
- 39:52Speaker 1: Why are you here? I think you know you've been
- 39:55Speaker 1: five when your key card you swipe it ten times
- 39:58Speaker 1: and you still ain't getting right ten ten, Junior, You
- 40:02Speaker 1: think it's now you've been fired. When when everybody passing
- 40:07Speaker 1: by the dough and looking at you and won't open it,
- 40:09Speaker 1: but they're looking at you through the dough. Robert, Robert
- 40:15Speaker 1: don't work here, he said, don't open that door for robber.
- 40:20Speaker 1: You know you've been fired is when you get to work.
- 40:23Speaker 1: People have been walking by just picking stuff out your cubicle.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I want to get that paper plant for the longest, right,
- 40:36Speaker 1: all right? You know you know you've been fired when
- 40:39Speaker 1: your last yet is pink your people utility bill, utility.
- 40:54Speaker 1: When you know you've been fired when you get an
- 40:55Speaker 1: email and they're trying to tell you about coming to business,
- 40:57Speaker 1: but at the end they say, oh, I'm sorry. You
- 41:05Speaker 1: know you've been fired when your work wife say that's
- 41:07Speaker 1: not gonna work on my that's just not gonna that's
- 41:12Speaker 1: not gonna work. This is how you know you've been fired.
- 41:18Speaker 1: You walk into working, everybody's standing around talking and when
- 41:21Speaker 1: you walk up and everybody get quiet, church house, Qua, Hey,
- 41:29Speaker 1: what y'all talking about? Just start dispersing. Now you know
- 41:36Speaker 1: you've been fired when you actually get in the building.
- 41:39Speaker 1: If you luck up and get in the building and
- 41:41Speaker 1: don't nobody, I mean nobody make eye contact with your behind.
- 41:46Speaker 1: That not everybody looking down. That's a good one. You've
- 41:51Speaker 1: been Yeah, you know you've been fired when the person
- 41:56Speaker 1: you didn't like it work come up to you and say,
- 41:58Speaker 1: you ain't gonna belive it's gonna have to day now
- 42:03Speaker 1: the heads up. Yeah, you're right. You ain't gonna be this.

- 42:30Speaker 1: turn around, go back, ye dog. I ain't got time

- 42:56Speaker 1: ain't your name. You've been replaced. Wow, you guys. You
- 43:07Speaker 1: know you know you've been five when you go in
- 43:08Speaker 1: the cafetia and the lady who served the mashed potatoes
- 43:11Speaker 1: throw her damn scooped down. I can't believe he didn't walk.
- 43:19Speaker 1: You've been five. When you see a bunch of boxes,
- 43:20Speaker 1: ain't your cubicle sitting there? Wait? That's for you to
- 43:24Speaker 1: pack up. That's what that's fun. Yeah, yeah, you've been
- 43:27Speaker 1: five part Yeah, just take the head off. Yeah yeah, yeah.

- 43:39Speaker 1: at your job that don't like you has put all
- 43:43Speaker 1: their names into a hat and they pull the names
- 43:46Speaker 1: to see who's gonna be able to tell you when
- 43:48Speaker 1: you come in, I show hope it's that's the same.

- 44:54Speaker 1: our services. If I think you'll actually like it, the
- 44:57Speaker 1: FBI would definitely like to get you on board. FI.

- 46:23Speaker 1: on you. That's some that's them, that's them. I'm free.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I'm not about to pay no money when I'm already free. Okay,
- 46:30Speaker 1: but you're gonna be sure. You're gonna need paperwork to
- 46:33Speaker 1: show your freedom, and you don't. Do you have any
- 46:35Speaker 1: freedom papers at this point right now? No, because I
- 46:38Speaker 1: don't need freedom I'm free, Sir. I don't think you
- 46:41Speaker 1: quite understand. Do you understand that you could possibly if
- 46:44Speaker 1: you're caught without your freedom papers, you could be taken
- 46:48Speaker 1: into captive and actually have to work for so many
- 46:51Speaker 1: years in order and then later on you might get
- 46:54Speaker 1: your freedom. But right now, right here, if you buy
- 46:57Speaker 1: freedom papers from me, I can I can fix it
- 47:00Speaker 1: where you don't go through that. You can actually get
- 47:02Speaker 1: separated from your family. Sir. I'm not going buy where
- 47:05Speaker 1: they gonna send me to where they gonna deport me
- 47:07Speaker 1: to after I ain't never been there. No, No, you're
- 47:09Speaker 1: not going to Africa. You could be actually here in
- 47:11Speaker 1: the United States working on a particular farm of with
- 47:15Speaker 1: a lot of people who don't have their papers. If
- 47:19Speaker 1: you haven't gotten this news, I do apologize, But within
- 47:21Speaker 1: the next six months you're going to need freedom papers
- 47:26Speaker 1: to you anyway, sir. Like I said before, I'm Scott
- 47:29Speaker 1: with FBI. No FPI thirds FPI's freedom papers in corporal.
- 47:36Speaker 1: I don't give what it is. I'm not about to
- 47:39Speaker 1: pay no money to be free, sir. You have to
- 47:42Speaker 1: have paperwork on you to show that you are a
- 47:45Speaker 1: free citizen of the United States. Hold how you get
- 47:49Speaker 1: my number? Anyway? Sir. We have a list of numbers
- 47:51Speaker 1: of people that we don't think have their freedom papers,
- 47:54Speaker 1: and your name actually popped up here in our database.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So you men gone pop up on okay, sir, I'm
- 48:00Speaker 1: trying to give them a number, sir. We have a
- 48:03Speaker 1: database here of people who we don't think their freedom papers.

- 48:10Speaker 1: seems like you don't have your freedom papers and we
- 48:12Speaker 1: want to make sure you get them. We're letting you
- 48:14Speaker 1: know it's two hundred dollars per person to get these
- 48:17Speaker 1: actual paper So you're telling me you got database and
- 48:21Speaker 1: you just call them black people all around the punches. Well, no, sir,
- 48:24Speaker 1: what we're doing is we're calling African Americans and let them,
- 48:27Speaker 1: letting them know that they can actually buy freedom papers
- 48:31Speaker 1: from us, so they don't have to be if they're
- 48:33Speaker 1: if they're if they ever get captured, then what can
- 48:36Speaker 1: happen is is that they can show their papers and
- 48:39Speaker 1: not have to deal with the problems that we already free.
- 48:43Speaker 1: You're gonna have a whole bunch of runaway because we
- 48:45Speaker 1: ain't paying. I'm not fan they might, but I'm not fan. Sure.

- 50:14Speaker 1: Don't have to catch me because I ain't king. I
- 50:16Speaker 1: didn't look up on the computer right now. I can't
- 50:19Speaker 1: find it. Scam trying to get my money? Are you

- 51:49Speaker 1: and more. Please submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey
- 51:53Speaker 1: FM and click submit Strawberry Letter. We could be reading
- 51:56Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 51:59Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now. Let's go buggle
- 52:03Speaker 1: up and hold on tight. We gotta toll you here.
- 52:05Speaker 1: It is Strawberry letta thanking nephew smiling in my face
- 52:10Speaker 1: while backstabbing me. Is the subject. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've
- 52:15Speaker 1: been married for seventeen years to a man who I
- 52:18Speaker 1: thought was trustworthy, honest, and a good Christian man. We
- 52:23Speaker 1: are both in our forties and have been together for
- 52:25Speaker 1: twenty five years total. For the last four years, he
- 52:29Speaker 1: has been friends with a basic girl that he met
- 52:32Speaker 1: at work. I call her basic because that's what she is.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I have always expressed how displeased I am with their friendship,
- 52:41Speaker 1: but he insisted that I was worrying for no reason.
- 52:44Speaker 1: We hung out with her and her basic husband oftened,
- 52:47Speaker 1: and my husband always made me feel like I was
- 52:50Speaker 1: crazy for being suspicious of this friendship. I even started
- 52:54Speaker 1: hanging out with this basic woman too, after he insisted
- 52:58Speaker 1: that I get to know her. We had family outings
- 53:01Speaker 1: with this basic couple. We actually enjoyed their company. Here's
- 53:05Speaker 1: where the pain and deceit began. Two weeks ago, her
- 53:09Speaker 1: husband caught my husband and the basic woman cheating. When confronted,
- 53:14Speaker 1: they admitted that it had been going on for three years,
- 53:17Speaker 1: right under our noses. I was so hurt. Then I
- 53:22Speaker 1: guess my husband's conscience got the best of him, and
- 53:25Speaker 1: he admitted that he had had an affair with three
- 53:28Speaker 1: other women, and two of these women were also in
- 53:32Speaker 1: our married friends circled. My husband told me that he
- 53:35Speaker 1: has a problem and he needs counseling. He begged me
- 53:39Speaker 1: to stay with him and help him through this. My
- 53:41Speaker 1: trust for him is shattered now. He had his mistresses
- 53:45Speaker 1: in my face and they all played it off perfectly.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I feel like a fool and I'm totally disgusted by him.
- 53:53Speaker 1: But I am unsure if divorce is the answer. We've
- 53:57Speaker 1: lost all of our friends because of this. Should I
- 54:00Speaker 1: forgive him? Please help? Wow? What a letter. First of all,
- 54:06Speaker 1: these were not your friends, and I gotta tell you
- 54:10Speaker 1: forgiveness is up to you, but most importantly, it's for you.
- 54:15Speaker 1: And you know in this instance, I would just say,
- 54:21Speaker 1: I don't know. It's gonna be hard, and it's gonna
- 54:23Speaker 1: take some time. The trust, like you said, is already broken.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Gonna be very very hard for you. To rebuild the trust,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and quite frankly, for you to even be considering not
- 54:35Speaker 1: divorcing him is amazing to me because he's been so
- 54:39Speaker 1: fall with what he did. Like you said, he had
- 54:42Speaker 1: his mistresses in your face, right under your noses for
- 54:46Speaker 1: three years. That's crazy, But you did suspect something he
- 54:50Speaker 1: kept trying to steer you off of that made you
- 54:53Speaker 1: get to be friends with the woman he was having
- 54:55Speaker 1: an affair with, and all of that. I mean, you
- 54:58Speaker 1: should be disgusted. You said you're disgusted with him. You
- 55:01Speaker 1: should be disgusted with him and all of them. You
- 55:04Speaker 1: said you're so disgusted with him. You should be, and
- 55:08Speaker 1: you should insist that he gets help. Only time will
- 55:11Speaker 1: tell if he's truly sorry. His behavior and how he
- 55:15Speaker 1: treats you from this point on should help you decide
- 55:18Speaker 1: whether to stay or go. But please do not do
- 55:22Speaker 1: not make this easy for him. If you decide to
- 55:24Speaker 1: stay in this relationship, which or this marriage that you've
- 55:28Speaker 1: had for seventeen years, this is not really a marriage.
- 55:32Speaker 1: He's been treat cheating on you, and treating you like this.
- 55:36Speaker 1: You don't have to. Don't feel badly if you walk
- 55:38Speaker 1: away from him, But if you decide to keep him
- 55:40Speaker 1: and forgive him, don't make it easy, Steve, I can't
- 55:46Speaker 1: ignore what you just said. If you're going to stay
- 55:48Speaker 1: with him and forgive him, don't make it easy. Wow,
- 55:55Speaker 1: that's an interesting concept, because why I forgive if you're
- 56:00Speaker 1: gonna steady make a person pay. I don't. I don't.
- 56:04Speaker 1: But then that's the part when you hurt a woman,
- 56:09Speaker 1: that's the part that you have to grapple with because
- 56:12Speaker 1: you did hurt her. So in that regard, I understand
- 56:16Speaker 1: where's Shirley coming from. But that's a tough statement, though.
- 56:21Speaker 1: If you stay with him and forgive him, but don't
- 56:23Speaker 1: make it easy, Jesus Christ. Well, let's go back to
- 56:29Speaker 1: the top. Smiling in my face. While I've been Dick Shirley,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I've been married seventeen years to a Christian man. He's
- 56:36Speaker 1: still a Christian man who I thought was trustworthy. Were
- 56:40Speaker 1: both in our forties and we begin the other for
- 56:42Speaker 1: twenty five years. Last four years, he's been friends with
- 56:45Speaker 1: a basic girl that he met at work. I call
- 56:48Speaker 1: her basic because that's where she is. I've always expressed
- 56:52Speaker 1: how displeased I was with a friendship, but he is
- 56:54Speaker 1: since says nothing where about. Now, let me ask you
- 56:56Speaker 1: a question. I have told y'all and told y'all and
- 56:59Speaker 1: told old y'all about these friendships. I have told y'all
- 57:03Speaker 1: that they don't normally work out that good. But let
- 57:07Speaker 1: me ask you this question. Who makes new female friends
- 57:12Speaker 1: in their forties while married? Dog? I can understand if
- 57:20Speaker 1: you had a relationship in college or something, You've been
- 57:23Speaker 1: friends with this girl since high school or something like that,
- 57:25Speaker 1: and you get married and you're trying to convince your
- 57:27Speaker 1: wife we've been friends all this time. I got that.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Who makes new female friends in their forties while they married?
- 57:41Speaker 1: How did y'all develop this friendship? How much time it
- 57:45Speaker 1: takes to develop offendship? Not much time away from your
- 57:49Speaker 1: wife and outside your house it takes to form a
- 57:53Speaker 1: new friendship. Now you call in the woman basic? What
- 57:57Speaker 1: the hell do that mean? What? What do that mean? Anybody?
- 58:02Speaker 1: She basic? Plane? I took it as plane. Yeah, well,
- 58:06Speaker 1: well yeah, I like plane donuts. M But I still
- 58:14Speaker 1: likes the doughnut because I can dunk it. Uh. All right,
- 58:19Speaker 1: hold on thought, hold on, all right. We'll come back
- 58:24Speaker 1: with part two of Steve's response to smiling in my
- 58:28Speaker 1: face while backstabbing me at twenty three minutes after the
- 58:31Speaker 1: hour right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 58:37Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subjects smiling in my face
- 58:42Speaker 1: while backstabbing me. They'd been married seventeen years Christian man,
- 58:47Speaker 1: so she thought trustworthy, so she thought, and they thought.
- 58:51Speaker 1: He's been together twenty five years total. Last four years
- 58:55Speaker 1: he'd been friends with a basic girl he met at work.
- 58:58Speaker 1: Man said that, and she started having problems with this
- 59:01Speaker 1: new friendship. My question when we left was who makes
- 59:06Speaker 1: new female friends in their forties while married, Because it
- 59:12Speaker 1: takes a long time to develop a friendship. That's time
- 59:16Speaker 1: out your house where y'all going lunch, eating, talking on
- 59:20Speaker 1: the phone, texting. All this could be time spent with
- 59:23Speaker 1: your girl. But now you outside your house with it.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Now here we come. I told y'all this don't hardly
- 59:29Speaker 1: ever work out. He insisted not to worry about it.
- 59:32Speaker 1: Then hit a cool part. We hung out with her
- 59:35Speaker 1: and her basic husband. All y'all are fossil alway, and
- 59:40Speaker 1: your husband made you feel crazy for being suspicious about
- 59:44Speaker 1: this friendship. I even started hanging with the basic woman too,
- 59:47Speaker 1: So he gets to know that y'all went to family outings, everything,
- 59:52Speaker 1: enjoy the company. Then you got hurt two weeks ago.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Now hit a part that I don't understand. Two weeks ago,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: her husband caught my husband and the basic woman cheating.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: When confronted, they admitted that it had been going on
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: for three years. So hold of old, I'm i'm are
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: we missing something here? He called his wife cheating with
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: another man. When confronted, they admitted that means this confrontation
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: was y'all cheating. And then they admitted it no crime.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Ta boy, Listen to me. Let me tell you what's
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: involved in this. In this when I catch you, that's
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: gonna have to be some depositions. That's gonna be to
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: be some retainers. That's gonna have to be some video.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Ever this we're gonna be looking back at text records.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Dare's gonna be some people at the High House. Uh,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: they're gonna be spraying that blue stuff in the room
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: with the lights out. They're gonna be spraying all that.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: They're trying to figure out what the hell did Steed
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: do about the finger? Yeah? Wow, the fingers, stupid hand
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: full of his hand. The target who come in Here're
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: gonna take a look at this. You're gonna come here
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and take a look at this. I don't know how
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: this got up here. Gonna take a picture of handcuffs
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: on the shower rode and uh, and take a picture
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: of that change. So I think that's gonna have something.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: This is starting to look a lot like scarf face
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: up in here. So now now they admitted, They admitted
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: they've been going out for three years right under our
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: knows is. I was so hurt. And then she said
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: her husband conscience got the best of him, and he
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: said that he had had an affail with three other women,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: and two of these women was also our married friends. God,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: why is he still living? Yeah, he's so good. I'm
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: not understanding that he ain't no good? Why is he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: still living? The husband ain't killed him? You ain't killed him.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: He's sleeping with everybody's wife? Who how fine is he? Then? Now? Now,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: my husband told me that he got a problem that
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: he needed counseling. He begged me to stay with him
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: and help him through this. Help help him? What's how
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you feeling to help him? Help me understand? Cheating is simple.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: It's a decision that a dude made because he thinks
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: he can get away with it, and he figured you
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: ain't gonna know, so what you ain't gonna know ain't
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: gonna hurt you. And it might not mean that much
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: to him, which can be a true statement. But when
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you get busted all of a sudden, you mean the
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: world to him. That's what happens in she true. Do
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: we understand this. You got to go to school. They
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: got to go to school for this therapy, for this.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: It's upset that he got caught. He made her if
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you had, if she had never caught him, this would
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: still be going on and he wouldn't be asking for help. Then, Yes, sir,
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: help is with one. When you got more than one, two,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: three women, you helping yourself to all the cookies in
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: the jaws not. Don't make it easy for help him
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: through him, my trust him, him and shadowed. Now he
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: had his mistresses in my face and they all played
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: it off perfectly. That's the cold part of this letter,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: right Hill. He talked all these women into going along
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: with it. Yeah, they were all friends. What have your
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: husband been doing to y'all? What this man do? It?

- 1:07:42Speaker 1: your ass. What's going job? Na? Na, you're asking drive throughs?
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: You know you ain't doing walking in it? Sleeping right now?
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I just have work now, I'm in one right now?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: All right, more of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this you're listening. Is your relationship
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: so good? Guys that sometimes you wish you and your
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: spouse would argue more? Huh? If so? If one argument,
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: just one argument, could save your marriage, that is it.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: But this husband cooked, clean, swept and loved his wife
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: passionately completely. She in turn, felt choked by his affection
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and now wants to divorce him. The woman sought divorce
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: from her husband in a city in the United Arab
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Emirates because his love was too much for her to bear.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: He never yelled at me or turned me down. The
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: woman told the court, I was choked by extreme love
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: and affection. He even helped me clean the house. The
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: court ordered the adjournment of the case to give a
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: couple a chance at reconciliation. So, guys, here's a question
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: for you. Do you wish you and your spouse would
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: actually argue more? Or have you ever ended a relationship
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: because there was no conflict at all, it's just too
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: much love and affection? Answer this no, please see they
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: need to stay soon. As soon as you say something
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: to him you disagree with His answer is getting some papers, drawing?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Are you serious? Are you serious? Back too much? Is
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: that first? Can be quick? Getting that? Really? Jay? Yeah?
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: He out? I'm out out. I don't know who wants
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: an argument? But this woman? What's wrong with her? Exactly?
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: She's a problem. Stand what real love is She's got
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: a different view. Yeah, she saw somebody getting cussed out,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: abused something. I want that. Yeah that's probably Yeah, she
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: said something. Yeah, I want to get cussed out much
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: love and affection. I've never heard a woman saying he
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: wants conflict? Who want that? Unless he's ultra clean. She
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: did say she felt choked by his love. He felt
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: choked by it? You mean she just be choked? He cooked,
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: he cleaned, He cooked, he clean, He loved her passionately
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: and completely. This sounds like a romance show. Yeah, she
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: said he never yelled at me or turned me down.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Never yet, going baby, you need to be who are you?
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He never turned you down? Oh my god? So this
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: is the opposite of an abuse of relationship. He cooking,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: etre he cooking and cleaning? Girl? Please, yeah I cook.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I'm not gonna clean when he swept, well, I'll leave
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: a spot on a stove in the hogbeat. Wow this this?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I mean? Women say all the time they want a
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: good man. Women complain all the time. And he never
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: helps me around the house. I don't. We never spend
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: enough time together. He's not affectionate, he's not romantic. I
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: I help you pack but Jay, Now, one time she
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: said something, she's out, you're done. Well. I don't take
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: telling them back. I don't what is talking back? What
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: we do? But you're not her daddy, you're not her husband.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: You're her man. Jay, what your daddy say? Dad say? Oh,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: we don't do back, We just do phone. I've never
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: heard of this before. But Jay, we can't disagree. We
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: can't agree back talking to dad, You talking back to me,
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: you would have been gone. But we don't like what
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: you're saying. Jay, we have a right to say that. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you don't like somebody's daddy. Yeah, I'm just gonna pack
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: you up. That's all I'm no. J Yeah, man, Wow,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: all right, coming up? More more music, more fun, more chauvinism.
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Sounds like yeah. At twenty minutes after the hour, right
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: here on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So here's the question,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: the office topic of the day. What you giving up
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: for love? What the officers doing the pretend? Who asked
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I ask these questions that no jobs? Is this a
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: hard question? Y'all gonna answer for that? Hall for me?
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: We're asking you guys, what you give up for love.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't gave up nothing I lost. It's
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: a difference. I didn't give up nothing. I lost what
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: was tooking away from you for love? Yeah, most everything
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I've ever done for love? What I lost? I lost
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: my what did y'all wanted to go? I lost my
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: ability thank for my damn self. I lost my ability
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: to eat what I want to eat, where I want
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: to eat. I lost my ability to all who the
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: hell I want to come? Man? I lost You lost
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: your freedom. I gave a lost freedom, my ability to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: have multiple people's phone. No, but I lost my ability
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: to lay my phone around. I lost. But you're not
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: bitter about it, because you certainly don't sound like that. Well,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: now it's a different love I have. But in the past,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: those loves were lost. I lost all right. Coming up
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: more of today's trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Show at twenty minutes after the hour, right after this
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: you're listening, all right, So, Steve, we had a question
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: for the clo. Actually it's from a twenty three year
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: old woman. Her name is Linthia from Chicago. She's a virgin.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: She said she's had the absolute worst experiences with dating.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: When this topic of sex comes up, the guys usually
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: run u Her most recent experience was with a guy
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: that she had been dating for three months. They had
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: the sex talk, but he didn't pressure her about it,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: so she didn't tell him that she was a virgin
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: until the very last minute when they were about to
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: do the deed. She says, I told him it was
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: my first time, and he laughed hysterically at me, and
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: he didn't believe me because I was acting so dominant
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: the whole time. He told me that he didn't want
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: a girl that didn't know what she was doing. She says,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I was ashamed and I left his house and he
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: hasn't called me since. I don't want to be a
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: virgin anymore. But why is it so hard to find
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: a good guy to help me out? Well, you know,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: it's the same problem that every woman has in finding
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: a great guy. That's the number one thing with most
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: women who don't have anybody's finding a great guy. You'll
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: have a guy that'll that'll be the right guy for you,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: that'll be patient, which you take his time with you,
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: be understanding and want you all in want you just
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: haven't met the guy yet and if you keep having
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: the same experiences, it could possibly be with the way
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: you're breaking the news and how you're explaining the news,
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: maybe your approach to expressing yourself is a little bit off.
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: Because a dude that kicks you out because I want
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: somebody know what he's doing. He just wants somebody, that's
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: freaking That's all it was. And Steve the fact that
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: she just doesn't want to be a virgin anymore. I mean, yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: you know you're not. You don't want to be a
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: virgin anymore. That's your decision. I can't not the one
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: to tell you to hang on till you're married, because
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: if you've made that your mind, why why would I
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: tell you anything else? You know, but you haven't found
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: mister Wright, you're twenty three years old. You're still very young.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Please take the pressure off yourself, because you got the
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: rest of your life not to be a virgin. You
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: ain't out of time, No, Tommy, anything you want to say?
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, no, sir, no, sir. How
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: you answering for me? Sir? Yeah, sure, it's it's the
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: best thing to do with this moment. Trust me, I'm sir,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: I'm smart. Stop. I got another question, Tommy. I don't
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: think Shirley's gonna let you interject here. You don't realize
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: how smart I am. That's exactly right. Is right there?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Nailed it exactly right. All right, We're coming back with
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. As a matter
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: of fact, this is our last break of the day.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Steve's closing remarks. You don't want to miss it. It's
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: been a good day. We'll be back at forty nine
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: after the hour right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: here we are. It is the last break up of
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: the day. It's the last breakout the day. Love it,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: and I know you want to leave us with some
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: closing remarks, Steve. You know last night when I finished
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: up Family Feud, I was talking to the audience and
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: we were talking about hanging in there, and one of
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: the audience members was saying that they feel underqualified because
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: they work around and live around a lot of people
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: with education, and education is important to a lot of
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: people and then a lot of fields. And please know,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: education is really really great to have. I'm not knocking
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: it in any shape form of fashion, So please don't
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: misunderstand that. But I was asking this person were they
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: good at school? And they said no, never have been
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: in there. Ask them just what they wanted being in life?
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: Do you have to go to school? They said not really,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: And so that kind of troubled me a little bit
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: because I was ended up talking to a person who
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: was trying to shape who they really wanted to be
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: and who they saw themselves becoming. But we're trying to
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: shape it in the image of other external people on
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: the outside and around him. And I began to talk
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: to this guy and I tried to enlighten him to
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: some things. You know, education is important and you should
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: get as much as you can, but you can become
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: successful without an education. Now I understand something. If you
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: want to be a doctor, dentist, lawyer, you know you
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: want to work in certain branches and the fields. Of course,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you can't be a teacher without an education, can't be
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: a professor without one, can't be a lawyer, doctor, dentist, scientists.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: There are things that require an education. But if your
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: imagination has you somewhere else, stop letting other people try
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: to put you in the box that they came out of.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: There are some people that no matter how you talk
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: to them. If you don't do it they way, then
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you ain't doing it the right way. I cannot even
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: began to tell you how many people have tried to
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: talk me off of the path I was on when
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: clearly God had put me on another path. I tried
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: to go to college. I did. I've never been a
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: great student. Once again, understand me, now, I'm not knocking
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: the education, because I tell people all the time I
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: admire people who climbed the corporate letter through education, who
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: climbed the educational field. That is like amazing to me
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: because that's not a skill set I have. But I
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: can't tell you how many people have tried to talk
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: me off my path. Do you know? One time a
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: lady once told me at a major institution that if
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you want to rep this institution, you're gonna have to
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: go back to college. And I said, go back to
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: college for what? And they said, because it would make
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: a better statement if you are a college graduate yourself.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: And I wasn't being arrogant in anything, but I was
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: looking at this lady trying to figure out what better
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: statement could I make? Then crawling out of homelessness, putting
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: my faith in trust in God and asking God to
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: rescue me from all the mistakes. I may watch him
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: do it climb as well. Now I may not be
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: up there where you think I all to be, and
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: I may not talk to where you think I all
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: to talk. But the God I served delivered me from
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: so many mistakes I had made college being one of them.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: What better testament, what better story can I tell? Don't
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: let people put you in the box just because that's
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: the box that they jumped out of. That ain't chops,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: That ain't your route, That ain't your journey, that ain't
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: your ticket. You have got to put your faith in
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: God and understand that all of us are on a
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: different journey in life. Ain't nobody traveling the exact same path,
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: in the exact same footsteps as nobody. I have admired
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: so many people in this world. I have tried to
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: pattern myself after certain people in this world, But no
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: matter how hard I try, I have found no one
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: who has taken the exact same footsteps as me. And
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: that don't make them better than me, less than me.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: It just ain't no two people taking the exact same footsteps. Look,
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I admired Richard Pryor. I admired Muhammad Ali. I admired
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Maua Luther King. I admired Michael Jordan. I admired God.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: I admired Mother Teresa. I admire Bishop T. D. Jakes.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I admire Bishop Gettys. I admire Joel Oldstein. I admire
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: Bishop Kenneth Olmer. I admire Donnie Kirk Kirkland. I admya
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: a lot of people. But they footsteps ain't mine, not
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: the exact footsteps. I can learn from something they've all
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: taught me. I can learn from some things I've watched
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: them do. But at the end of the day, this
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: is your journey. Your journey as is as unique as
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: your fingerprint. And that's how special God made each and
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: every one of us, because we all got a different fingerprint.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: It's billions, over seven billion people in this world. Ain't
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: no two people got the same fingerprint. So how the
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: two of you gonna take the same steps? You better,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: you better listen to this. It ain't your journey, it
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: ain't your path. Get on your get on your journey,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: get on your faith, get on your knees, and accomplish
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: your job, your dreams, make your dreams come true. Follow
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: your heart, follow your goals, follow your imagination. God is
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: good and he can get you there. And nowhere does
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: it say a man without an education shall fail. It
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: says a man without a dream or vision shall perish.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: Dust them off hand to your business. Those are my
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: clothes and remarks. Y'all have a great weekend and I'm
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: leaning that from the bottom of my heart for all.
