Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Trump's Ultimatum-Iran Must Abandon Nuclear Weapons
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: We're going to start with some very big news, and
- 0:03Speaker 1: that is that Donald Trump is going to try to
- 0:07Speaker 1: clean up the mess that was left behind by Joe
- 0:10Speaker 1: Biden when it came to Iran. Donald Trump administration we're
- 0:15Speaker 1: now being told as seeking full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program.
- 0:21Speaker 2: That is obviously a huge deal.
- 0:24Speaker 1: National Security Advisor Mike walt sang on Sunday on CBS's
- 0:29Speaker 1: Face the Nation, the President Donald Trump was working towards
- 0:33Speaker 1: full dismantlement of Iran's nuclear program.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Here is part of that conversation.
- 0:40Speaker 3: To cover on the home front. But we begin first
- 0:42Speaker 3: on national security. In just a few hours, US officials
- 0:46Speaker 3: will be holding talks with Ukraine and tomorrow a separate
- 0:49Speaker 3: round with Russia in pursuit of a thirty day ceasefire.
- 0:53Speaker 3: In the meantime, the Trump administration is ramping up the
- 0:56Speaker 3: US military presence in the Middle East, sending a second
- 0:59Speaker 3: aircraft carrier to the region. We begin this morning with
- 1:02Speaker 3: White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Good to have you here, thanks, Margaret.
- 1:08Speaker 3: So, the Iran Backhothi's they continue.
- 1:10Speaker 4: To fire at Israel.
- 1:11Speaker 3: What is the last week of bombing achieved and if
- 1:14Speaker 3: you're holding Iran responsible, what's next.
- 1:17Speaker 5: Well, we've taken out Keyhothy leadership, including their head missileer.
- 1:23Speaker 5: We've hit their headquarters, We've hit communications nodes, weapons factories,
- 1:29Speaker 5: and even some of their over the water drone production facilities.
- 1:35Speaker 5: Just in the last couple of days, President Trump has
- 1:38Speaker 5: decided to hit the Houthis and hit them hard, as
- 1:41Speaker 5: opposed to in the last administration, where literally weeks or
- 1:45Speaker 5: months would go by with these kind of one off,
- 1:48Speaker 5: pin prick attacks. And as a result, we've had one
- 1:51Speaker 5: of the world's most critical sea lanes get shut down.
- 1:55Speaker 5: I mean, these guys are like al Qaeda or Isis
- 1:58Speaker 5: with advanced cruise missile, ballistic missiles, and some of the
- 2:02Speaker 5: most sophisticated air defenses, all provided by Iran or Just
- 2:05Speaker 5: to so everybody understands the impact here, the last time
- 2:08Speaker 5: one of our destroyers went through the Straits there it
- 2:11Speaker 5: was attacked twenty three times. Seventy five percent of our
- 2:15Speaker 5: US flag shipping now has to go around the southern
- 2:19Speaker 5: coast of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.
- 2:23Speaker 5: And keeping the sea lanes open, keeping trade and commerce
- 2:26Speaker 5: open is a fundamental aspect of our national security. The
- 2:29Speaker 5: last administration was not effective. The Trump administration and President
- 2:33Speaker 5: Trump have decided to do something much harder, much tougher,
- 2:37Speaker 5: and much and what we'll see but I think will
- 2:40Speaker 5: be much more effective.
- 2:41Speaker 3: So the President is that he's going to hold Iran
- 2:43Speaker 3: responsible as well. Envoy Steve Whitkoff said in an interview
- 2:48Speaker 3: that Iran had responded to this US outreach.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Via multiple channels.
- 2:54Speaker 3: In regard to a letter sent by the President, Witkoff
- 2:58Speaker 3: described it as an offer to a to create a
- 3:01Speaker 3: verification program so nobody worries about weaponization of nuclear material.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Can you clarify, is the US seeking the dismantlement of
- 3:09Speaker 3: Iran's nuclear program or verification like what President Obama put
- 3:14Speaker 3: in place back in twenty fifteen and President Trump pulled out.
- 3:16Speaker 4: Of full dismantlement.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Iran has to give up its program in a way
- 3:22Speaker 5: that the entire world can see.
- 3:25Speaker 4: And this is look.
- 3:26Speaker 5: As president as President Trump has said, this is coming
- 3:30Speaker 5: to a head. All options are on the table, and
- 3:33Speaker 5: it is time for Iran to walk away completely from
- 3:38Speaker 5: its desire to have a nuclear nuclear weapon. That and
- 3:41Speaker 5: they will not and cannot be allowed to have a
- 3:45Speaker 5: nuclear weapons program. That's enriched to the president, that is
- 3:49Speaker 5: weaponization and that it's its strategic missile program. Can you
- 3:53Speaker 5: only imagine we've seen the death and destruction that they're
- 3:56Speaker 5: doing through its proxies between Hesbalah, the Asad regime, the
- 4:00Speaker 5: who these and what have you. If they had nuclear weapons,
- 4:03Speaker 5: the entire Middle East would explode in an arms race
- 4:06Speaker 5: that is completely unacceptable to our national security. I won't
- 4:10Speaker 5: get into what the back and forth has been, but
- 4:12Speaker 5: Iran is in the worst place it has been from
- 4:15Speaker 5: its own national security since nineteen seventy nine thanks to
- 4:19Speaker 5: Hesblah Hamas, the Assad regime and its own air defenses
- 4:23Speaker 5: being taken out by the Israelis.
- 4:25Speaker 4: So there's still a chance for diplomacy. Well, of course Iban.
- 4:29Speaker 5: The President has all options on the table, but we
- 4:31Speaker 5: want to be clear. This isn't some kind of, you know,
- 4:34Speaker 5: kind of tip for tat that we had under the
- 4:36Speaker 5: Obama administration or Biden. This is the full program. Give
- 4:40Speaker 5: it up or there will be consequences.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Give it up or there will be consequences.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It's very clear that the Trump administration is not willing
- 4:52Speaker 1: to negotiate at all with Iran on the issue of
- 4:55Speaker 1: nuclear weapons and the reason why is clearly stated. Full
- 5:00Speaker 1: this mana minute, and Ran has to give up its
- 5:01Speaker 1: program in a way that the entire world can see.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And this is what it's going to be.
- 5:07Speaker 1: We are not going to trust them with any type
- 5:09Speaker 1: of nuclear program. Now you listen to how this president
- 5:14Speaker 1: has made it clear to the world that this is
- 5:18Speaker 1: unacceptable what has happened with Iran, and that we're not
- 5:21Speaker 1: going to do this.
- 5:22Speaker 2: We're not going to allow it. And as they described it,
- 5:25Speaker 2: RAN's in the.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Quote worst place it's been from its own national security
- 5:29Speaker 1: standpoint since nineteen seventy nine thanks to hesbla Hamas and
- 5:33Speaker 1: the Asad regime and its own air defense being taken
- 5:37Speaker 1: out by the Israelis. Now you notice there that there
- 5:40Speaker 1: was one key thing that was said by the anchor there, Brennan.
- 5:43Speaker 1: She said, so there's still a chance for diplomacy, question mark,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I know you won't get into okay, And what was
- 5:49Speaker 1: the response, Well, of course, I mean the president has
- 5:52Speaker 1: all options on.
- 5:53Speaker 2: The table, and we want to be clear.
- 5:56Speaker 1: This isn't some kind of you know, kind of tit
- 5:58Speaker 1: for tat that we had under the Obama.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Administration or Biden.
- 6:03Speaker 1: This is the full program, give it up or there
- 6:05Speaker 1: will be consequences. After more than a year of war,
- 6:09Speaker 1: tear and pain in Israel, the need for security essentials
- 6:12Speaker 1: and support for first responders is still critical. Even in
- 6:16Speaker 1: times of ceasefire. Israel must be prepared for the next attack,
- 6:20Speaker 1: wherever it may come from. As Israel is surrounded by
- 6:24Speaker 1: enemies on all sides. That is where the International Fellowship
- 6:27Speaker 1: of Christians and Jews and you come in.
- 6:30Speaker 2: They are the ones.
- 6:31Speaker 1: That help give the support that is needed and the
- 6:33Speaker 1: people of Israel need now more than ever before, life
- 6:37Speaker 1: saving security essentials, and your gift today will help save
- 6:40Speaker 1: lives by providing bomb shelters, armored security vehicles and ambulances,
- 6:45Speaker 1: firefighting equipment, flat jackets and bullet proof vests, and so
- 6:49Speaker 1: much more. Your generous donation today will help ensure the
- 6:52Speaker 1: people of Israel are safe and secure in the days
- 6:55Speaker 1: to come. So give a gift to bless Israel and
- 6:57Speaker 1: her people by visiting support I s FCJ dot org.
- 7:01Speaker 1: That's one word support IFCJ dot org or call eight
- 7:06Speaker 1: a eight four eight eight IFCJ that's eight eight eight
- 7:11Speaker 1: four eight eight IFCJ eight A eight four eight eight
- 7:14Speaker 1: four three two five or support IFCJ dot org. Now
- 7:19Speaker 1: the question is what a consequences look like. Well, obviously
- 7:22Speaker 1: sanctions are part of the consequences, there's no doubt about that,
- 7:26Speaker 1: and it's very clear the Presdent's going to use that disadvantage.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But it could also mean allowing for.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Israel to strike, because if there's anything we've learned, Israel
- 7:35Speaker 1: right now does not want to allow Iran to get
- 7:39Speaker 1: a nuclear weapon because they know that they would be
- 7:41Speaker 1: more than likely target number one, and so there's a
- 7:44Speaker 1: very good chance at what would end up happening. Is
- 7:47Speaker 1: America would say to them, Hey, we understand what you
- 7:51Speaker 1: have to do. We understand that you have to protect
- 7:53Speaker 1: and defend yourself. We understand that you are their target.
- 7:58Speaker 1: We understand all of that, and we're going to do
- 8:00Speaker 1: everything we can rights in Iran.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And this makes a lot of sense.
- 8:05Speaker 1: We're going to do everything we can to make sure
- 8:09Speaker 1: that you are able to defend yourself. That's what America
- 8:13Speaker 1: would say to Israel when it comes to the Iran issue.
- 8:17Speaker 1: I don't think anyone has a problem with that. That
- 8:20Speaker 1: is sane, and having an Iran with a nuclear program
- 8:24Speaker 1: would be suicide for peace in the Middle East. There
- 8:28Speaker 1: is no doubt about it, because I do believe they
- 8:30Speaker 1: would use those nuclear weapons. I believe they would use them,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and they would go after not only Israel, but I
- 8:36Speaker 1: think they would go over any other country that they
- 8:38Speaker 1: wanted to mess with or that they hated. And that's
- 8:41Speaker 1: the biggest problem with all of this. This also, I
- 8:45Speaker 1: think goes back to one other aspect of what Donald
- 8:47Speaker 1: Trump has made very clear, which is peace through strength.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And if you look at what he has said, and
- 8:53Speaker 1: you look at the way that he said it, he said,
- 8:56Speaker 1: there are certain things in America.
- 8:58Speaker 2: We will not tolerate.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Rate.
- 9:01Speaker 1: One of those things is a nuclear program in Iran.
- 9:05Speaker 1: They lie, You cannot trust them, You cannot believe them
- 9:09Speaker 1: that they will for anything like when it comes to
- 9:12Speaker 1: nuclear weapons, you cannot trust them. And they sponsor terras everywhere.
- 9:17Speaker 1: We know that they sponsor terras everywhere in the Middle East.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Hamas has blow. The list goes on and on. So
- 9:24Speaker 1: that is the other part of this that I think
- 9:26Speaker 1: is really really really important to understand that the President
- 9:31Speaker 1: is saying, we are not going to let you get
- 9:33Speaker 1: it because we know we know when you get it, right,
- 9:38Speaker 1: like we know when you get it, the chances of
- 9:42Speaker 1: you using it are extremely high.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Period.
- 9:47Speaker 1: While all this, by the way, is happening with Iran
- 9:49Speaker 1: and the simple words coming out from the White House
- 9:51Speaker 1: that we're going to stop Iran from getting a nuclear
- 9:53Speaker 1: program and there will be consequences if they if they
- 9:57Speaker 1: don't stop what they're doing. Right now, we also got
- 10:01Speaker 1: even better, I think you could say information from the
- 10:05Speaker 1: Director of National Intelligence Toulty Gabbard, who has come out
- 10:09Speaker 1: also while this is happening and slash DEI and wasteless
- 10:13Speaker 1: spending by tens of millions of dollars. The Director of
- 10:18Speaker 1: National Intelligence Tolti Gabbard saved taxpayers tens of millions of
- 10:21Speaker 1: dollars in wasteful diversity, equity and inclusion and other insane
- 10:28Speaker 1: spending quote. President Donald Trump made it one of his
- 10:31Speaker 1: first actions in zoo administration and radical and wasteful government
- 10:36Speaker 1: di programs and.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Preferencing quote.
- 10:41Speaker 1: The Biden administration forced illegal and in moral discrimination programs
- 10:46Speaker 1: going by the name diversity equity inclusion into virtually all
- 10:50Speaker 1: aspects of the federal government in areas ranging from airlines.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Safe to the military.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Trump's executive orders declared all this on January the twentieth, naturally,
- 11:02Speaker 1: the Director of National Intelligence, Toulsi Gabbard has moved to
- 11:06Speaker 1: scratch and get rid of all of these controversial and
- 11:12Speaker 1: discriminatory programs from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So let me just tell you what she got rid
- 11:20Speaker 1: of this week. She eliminated the DEI office and staff,
- 11:24Speaker 1: saving twenty million. She scrapped unnecessary conferences, saving more than
- 11:29Speaker 1: three million or more per year. She next unnecessary program licenses,
- 11:35Speaker 1: saving one point four million a year. She removed redundant
- 11:39Speaker 1: secure cloud contract saving one point one million a year.
- 11:44Speaker 1: She ended unnecessary never ending training programs, saving three point
- 11:50Speaker 1: four million per year.
- 11:52Speaker 2: She reduced overhead charges.
- 11:53Speaker 1: On all ODNI contracts, saving eight to twelve percent of
- 11:58Speaker 1: all contract value use. On top of aggressively pursuing recent
- 12:03Speaker 1: intelligence community leakers and revoking security clearances of Biden officials
- 12:08Speaker 1: and signers of the infants Hunter Byen Laptop letter, Director
- 12:12Speaker 1: Gabbart has already moved to save taxpayer dours millions of bucks,
- 12:16Speaker 1: which was a promise.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Here's something else that's interesting.
- 12:20Speaker 1: This was first reported by Breitbart News in late February.
- 12:25Speaker 1: The Gabbard saved twenty million by ordering her department just
- 12:28Speaker 1: to eliminate the DEI programs. In addition to that order,
- 12:32Speaker 1: Gabert also ordered the od and I staff to stop
- 12:34Speaker 1: attending any and all conferences not central to the od
- 12:39Speaker 1: and I mission or that do not have defined deliverables.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Per the official, the second orders expect to save taxpayers
- 12:48Speaker 1: another three.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Million a year.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Gabert also ordered a review to determine any OD and
- 12:54Speaker 1: I personnel not working at the headquarters in DC, like
- 12:59Speaker 1: staff base elsewhere throughout the country to determine if those
- 13:02Speaker 1: people are serving the mission of protecting the safety and
- 13:05Speaker 1: security of the American.
- 13:06Speaker 2: People what a novel idea quote.
- 13:09Speaker 1: If such personnel are determined to not fit that description, Gabbard,
- 13:14Speaker 1: per a US official, will order those positions to be eliminated,
- 13:18Speaker 1: a move that's expected to save taxpayers another million dollars
- 13:21Speaker 1: a year at least.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Gabard also.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Just returned from her trip to the Indo Pacific, where
- 13:30Speaker 1: she brought a nuanced understanding of the arena's crucial partnerships
- 13:35Speaker 1: and complex challenges as she explores opportunities to advance President
- 13:39Speaker 1: Trump's America First policy across the Indo Pacific.
- 13:44Speaker 2: They say this includes.
- 13:45Speaker 1: Meeting with senior National Security Agency the NSA officials in Hawaii,
- 13:49Speaker 1: visiting top intelligence officials and diplomats in Japan and Thailand,
- 13:54Speaker 1: and holding bilateral meetings with the Indian Prime Minister.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Quote.
- 14:00Speaker 1: President Trump remains unwavering and his commitment to achieving peace
- 14:05Speaker 1: through a strategy root in realism and pragmatism. Securing peace
- 14:11Speaker 1: through strength requires strong leadership and a clear eyed and
- 14:14Speaker 1: realistic understanding of global challenges and opportunities, a commitment to
- 14:19Speaker 1: fostering cultural and economic ties that reduce the likelihood of
- 14:22Speaker 1: an escalation to conflict, and a dedication to reinforcing mutual interests.
- 14:28Speaker 1: So what does this actually mean in translation, means the
- 14:32Speaker 1: President is empowered gabber to slash the wastele spending while
- 14:37Speaker 1: also making sure that we get back to the mission
- 14:40Speaker 1: of what she does in her job, and part of
- 14:44Speaker 1: it is going and talking to world leaders and finding
- 14:47Speaker 1: common ground and commonplace where we can get along and
- 14:50Speaker 1: expand and work together, which allows for there being a
- 14:54Speaker 1: much less chance of there being some sort of international conflict.
- 15:00Speaker 1: And so what the President's strategy is here is, Hey,
- 15:04Speaker 1: let's go meet with people that we think there could
- 15:07Speaker 1: be an issue, and let's find a common denominator, a
- 15:10Speaker 1: common bond of understanding where instead of us not talking
- 15:14Speaker 1: to one another, we actually work with one another. We
- 15:19Speaker 1: sit down and try to find ways that we can
- 15:22Speaker 1: communicate on some sort of program and or plan that
- 15:27Speaker 1: makes sense for both so that we have a better
- 15:30Speaker 1: chance of de escalating a situation instead of escalating it
- 15:35Speaker 1: to having a point where we have another war.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Again. This is common sense. That's what it really is.
- 15:43Speaker 1: This is all about basic common sense by Tulsi, by
- 15:48Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America and empowering
- 15:51Speaker 1: his cabinet officials to do their jobs. And when you
- 15:56Speaker 1: allow them to do their jobs in this way, which
- 16:00Speaker 1: is clearly just mentioned, what ends up happening is you
- 16:04Speaker 1: have a world that's a safer place. You have a
- 16:07Speaker 1: world where the presents also made.
- 16:09Speaker 2: It very clear.
- 16:11Speaker 1: You have a world where the President said, look, don't
- 16:14Speaker 1: get out of line, don't be a threat to the
- 16:16Speaker 1: United States of America. Right Like, whatever you do, don't
- 16:21Speaker 1: do that. Let's find ways in common ground, in places
- 16:25Speaker 1: where we can work together. And when that happens, we're
- 16:28Speaker 1: all in a much better place. While we may have
- 16:33Speaker 1: won this election, the fight to restore our great nation
- 16:36Speaker 1: is only beginning and now is the time to take
- 16:38Speaker 1: a stand, and Patriot Mobile is leading the charge. It
- 16:42Speaker 1: has never been easier to switch your cell phone than
- 16:46Speaker 1: in twenty twenty five. With technology, you can do it
- 16:49Speaker 1: literally over the phone with a code they send you.
- 16:52Speaker 1: It is amazing. But here's the reason why I'm a
- 16:55Speaker 1: I use Patriot Mobile now. One I save money over
- 16:58Speaker 1: what I was paying before with Big Mobile, and two,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I'm no longer supporting the radical left now. I didn't
- 17:04Speaker 1: realize until someone told me just how radical Big Mobile
- 17:07Speaker 1: had gotten. Where they are supporting organizations that pay for
- 17:10Speaker 1: abortions or supporting radical democratic causes and organizations they're helping
- 17:15Speaker 1: democrats get elect it at the local, state, and national level.
- 17:19Speaker 1: That is actually why over a decade ago Patriot Mobile
- 17:22Speaker 1: was started and they are now America's only Christian conservative
- 17:27Speaker 1: wireless provider.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about coverage.
- 17:29Speaker 1: In twenty twenty five, you have zero problems with coverage
- 17:33Speaker 1: anymore because well, Patriot Mobile uses all three major networks.
- 17:37Speaker 2: What does that mean for you?
- 17:39Speaker 1: It means whatever coverage you're used to now you're going
- 17:41Speaker 1: to stay exactly the same, or you may even be
- 17:44Speaker 1: able to improve it, but it will not be any
- 17:47Speaker 1: issues when it comes to coverage. In fact, they have
- 17:49Speaker 1: a coverage guarantee. But when you pay your bill, this
- 17:52Speaker 1: is where the magic happens. They take a portion of
- 17:55Speaker 1: your bill every month and they give it back to
- 17:57Speaker 1: organizations that support our first and our second amendments that
- 18:01Speaker 1: support the sanctity of life, that support our veterans, our
- 18:05Speaker 1: first responders, and are wounded warriors. And like I said,
- 18:09Speaker 1: switching with technology now has never been easier. You keep
- 18:12Speaker 1: your same phone you have now, keep your same phone number,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and you can even upgrade to a new phone if
- 18:17Speaker 1: you want to. They have a one hundred percent US
- 18:20Speaker 1: based customer support team to help you find the perfect
- 18:23Speaker 1: plan and to save money. And if you own a
- 18:25Speaker 1: business or a small business, they have a division that
- 18:27Speaker 1: just works on switching multiple lines over easily. So right now,
- 18:32Speaker 1: go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or call them
- 18:37Speaker 1: nine to seven to two Patriot You're going to get
- 18:40Speaker 1: a free month of service with the promo code ferguson.
- 18:42Speaker 1: So switch the Patriot Mobile and make a difference with
- 18:45Speaker 1: every call you make. Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson
- 18:49Speaker 1: or nine to seven to two patriot.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Now, you would think that Democrats would be in favor
- 18:54Speaker 2: of this. They're not.
- 18:56Speaker 1: They're furious, they're angry, they're upset. And why are they
- 19:02Speaker 1: upset Because they've lost control of the deep state. A
- 19:07Speaker 1: lot of these neocons, a lot of these lefties, they
- 19:10Speaker 1: are truly obsessed with having us in endless wars for
- 19:16Speaker 1: one main reason, because they make money off of it.
- 19:22Speaker 2: There's a lot of Republicans that do that too.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I want to be clear, but what the President has
- 19:27Speaker 1: said is, look, I don't start wars.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I in them. I don't start them. I in them.
- 19:35Speaker 1: And so if you want to work in my administration
- 19:38Speaker 1: and you want to be on the team with me,
- 19:40Speaker 1: then you need to understand what we allow and what
- 19:44Speaker 1: we do, and what we don't do, and what we
- 19:48Speaker 1: don't allow. We're not going to have a bunch of
- 19:52Speaker 1: neocons going out there warmongering, trying.
- 19:55Speaker 2: To start things.
- 19:56Speaker 1: We're here to in them, we're here to finish them,
- 19:59Speaker 1: we're here to shut them down again. It's a brilliant,
- 20:06Speaker 1: brilliant foreign policy. It's also an American first foreign policy,
- 20:11Speaker 1: and that is incredibly important for the president of the
- 20:13Speaker 1: United States of America. So you look at these two
- 20:17Speaker 1: stories that we started with today, They're incredibly important and also,
- 20:22Speaker 1: I would argue, incredibly successful because the President of the
- 20:26Speaker 1: United States of America said, I'm going to lead by example.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I'm going to bring in people like Tulsi. I'm going
- 20:31Speaker 1: to empower them to do their job. I'm going to
- 20:33Speaker 1: empower them to travel and meet with people, and I'm
- 20:36Speaker 1: going to get them to have conversations instead of us
- 20:39Speaker 1: talking through the media on the issue.
- 20:42Speaker 2: That could escalate to war.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Isn't it nice to know that common sense is back
- 20:47Speaker 1: in the White House. Isn't it nice to know that
- 20:50Speaker 1: we have a president that is sitting there truly trying
- 20:53Speaker 1: to allow these things I accomplish these types of things.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Isn't that what we should all be so excited about? Now?
- 21:01Speaker 1: You look at what the presidents try to do in Iran,
- 21:04Speaker 1: you look at what the president's doing with Tulsa Gabbard
- 21:06Speaker 1: and stopping ways fraud and abuse, and then you've got
- 21:09Speaker 1: something else the president's working really hard on right now,
- 21:11Speaker 1: and what he's trying to do right now is also
- 21:15Speaker 1: in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Well, it looks.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Like Zelenski knows that if the war ends, he's out
- 21:25Speaker 1: of a job. It's very clear that he is reading
- 21:30Speaker 1: the tea leaves that way, where it's like as soon
- 21:34Speaker 1: as there's an election, remember, because he's canceled all the elections.
- 21:37Speaker 1: That's what dictators do. That's why Zelenski is a dictator.
- 21:41Speaker 1: In my opinion. He has shut down the elections and
- 21:43Speaker 1: he's not having those elections because I also think he
- 21:46Speaker 1: knows that he would lose the election. The number of
- 21:49Speaker 1: Ukrainians have been sent to war to die is staggering.
- 21:54Speaker 1: The number is truly incredible, and so that's a problem.
- 22:00Speaker 1: So when you look at the president of the United
- 22:02Speaker 1: States of America and you look at you know what
- 22:07Speaker 1: the president of our country is trying to do, which
- 22:10Speaker 1: is to not only save our tax dollars, but also
- 22:13Speaker 1: not empower someone like Zelensky to take advantage of the situation. Zolensky,
- 22:19Speaker 1: there's a fifty percent chance when this thing's all said
- 22:23Speaker 1: and done, he will probably go into exile somewhere else.
- 22:25Speaker 1: He'll be run out of the country. And right now
- 22:29Speaker 1: he's got a monopoly is on all the money coming
- 22:35Speaker 1: in now. The corruption under Zolensky is widespread and well
- 22:40Speaker 1: reported on that's something else that people need to understand,
- 22:43Speaker 1: Like it is very well reported on just how widespread
- 22:47Speaker 1: it is. And so Zelensky is a guy that even
- 22:52Speaker 1: admitted that fifty percent of all the money that's gone
- 22:55Speaker 1: to Ukraine, like is unaccounted for it. We don't know
- 22:57Speaker 1: where it is. So now well I move you to
- 23:00Speaker 1: the newest story. President Zelensky quote was quick to rubbish
- 23:05Speaker 1: President Donald Trump's suggestion to take tension over nuclear plant
- 23:11Speaker 1: possession off the table by simply making them American owned,
- 23:16Speaker 1: insisting the plants belong to the quote people of Ukraine.
- 23:21Speaker 1: The largest nuclear power station in Europe is technically Ukrainian owned,
- 23:26Speaker 1: but has been occupied by Russian forces for over three years,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and its fate has emerged as a bone of contention
- 23:34Speaker 1: in Ukraine's war peace negotiations. All right, so if you
- 23:38Speaker 1: know that's the issue, listen to this.
- 23:41Speaker 2: This week, President Trump, playing chess not.
- 23:45Speaker 1: Checkers, offered a new approach to answering whether it should
- 23:49Speaker 1: be Ukrainian or Russian by offering to make an American
- 23:53Speaker 1: instead taking the problem off the table altogether Ukraine's presidents.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Lensky responded quickly reverting to his total war goal of
- 24:03Speaker 1: all United Nations recognized Ukrainian territory being restored to Kiev's control,
- 24:10Speaker 1: insisting there's no way the United States could take control
- 24:13Speaker 1: of the valuable but potentially highly dangerous site. Now again,
- 24:18Speaker 1: the president's trying to end the war. It's pretty clear
- 24:20Speaker 1: nown Zelensky's going, no, no, don't. I don't want to
- 24:22Speaker 1: end this war. I don't want like the points of
- 24:24Speaker 1: contention are going to keep me in power for longer,
- 24:27Speaker 1: and I'd rather be present for another six months, or
- 24:29Speaker 1: another year, or another two years because we can't come
- 24:33Speaker 1: to an agreement. And be damned, who gets killed.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Now.
- 24:37Speaker 1: In response to a journalist question during a joint conference
- 24:41Speaker 1: in Norway with the Prime minister there that at times
- 24:45Speaker 1: appeared to verge on the well of the frustrated or angry,
- 24:49Speaker 1: Zelensky hit back saying, quote, all nuclear power plants belong
- 24:54Speaker 1: to the people of Ukraine. These are state owned nuclear
- 24:57Speaker 1: power plants. It's not in private property in Ukraine. Now again,
- 25:02Speaker 1: he's obviously not actually wanting to stop the war. If
- 25:06Speaker 1: he did, he would trust the US on this issue
- 25:10Speaker 1: and say, yes, let's do this to take it off
- 25:12Speaker 1: the table. Quote, the atomic energy in Ukraine belongs to Ukraine,
- 25:18Speaker 1: and the temporarily occupied region where this nuclear power plant
- 25:22Speaker 1: is belongs to Ukraine. He went on to say, refering
- 25:25Speaker 1: to the leader Kohl he had with President Trump early
- 25:28Speaker 1: in the week. President Zelenski also quote cast doubt on
- 25:31Speaker 1: the versions of events published by the United States which
- 25:35Speaker 1: stated American ownership of those plants would be the best
- 25:38Speaker 1: protection for that infrastructure and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Giving his view on the call, Zelensky said, quote the
- 25:48Speaker 1: problem raised by the Americans, I do not know whether
- 25:52Speaker 1: they have raised it with the Russians. Mister President Trump
- 25:57Speaker 1: asked me what do you think about this station. I
- 26:00Speaker 1: told him that if it does not belong to Ukraine,
- 26:04Speaker 1: it will not work for anybody.
- 26:07Speaker 2: It is illegal and it is.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Not capable of doing so, and it is a state
- 26:11Speaker 1: owned enterprise. The issue of property we definitely did not
- 26:16Speaker 1: discuss with President Trump, and even more we did not
- 26:20Speaker 1: discuss the message you have said here.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Zelenski went on.
- 26:25Speaker 1: To say, I saw such messages in the press regarding
- 26:28Speaker 1: the overall generation.
- 26:30Speaker 2: In Ukraine. Now we will not discuss it.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Ukraine has opened quote four discussions or two discussions on
- 26:38Speaker 1: future investment and modernization of its nuclear powers, Lensky said,
- 26:42Speaker 1: but again retreading his path on insisting foreign ownership could
- 26:46Speaker 1: not be permitted. Now, why would you say it this
- 26:50Speaker 1: way if you're Zelenski? Simply put, it's because he doesn't
- 26:53Speaker 1: want the war to end.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Now.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Ukraine, by the way, just so you know, has fifteen
- 27:01Speaker 1: Soviet error reactors. In the case of its largest plant,
- 27:06Speaker 1: its six reactors are largely in a state of cold
- 27:08Speaker 1: shutdown for safety. As previously reported on the nuclear ownership
- 27:13Speaker 1: proposal to remove the issue from contention between Ukraine and Russia, quote,
- 27:20Speaker 1: the proposal to take these plants into US ownership is
- 27:23Speaker 1: the latest by the Trump administration to offer Ukraine's security
- 27:26Speaker 1: guarantees through commerce, ensuring continued American interests in Ukraine's well
- 27:32Speaker 1: being by creating a strong financial interest in its safety.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Following the readout of Trump's comments to Zelenski, US Secretary
- 27:39Speaker 1: of Energy Chris Right assured the US taking ownership of
- 27:42Speaker 1: Ukraine's nuclear fleet was doable, telling Fox News that quote,
- 27:47Speaker 1: there's no problem, we can do it, he said.
- 27:51Speaker 2: If it was helpful to achieve.
- 27:52Speaker 1: That end, have the US run nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
- 27:56Speaker 1: We have immense technical technological excuse me, expertise in the
- 28:01Speaker 1: United States to run those plants. I don't think that
- 28:04Speaker 1: requires boots on the ground quote unquote. In fact, the
- 28:08Speaker 1: United States already has direct experience in nuclear power in Ukraine,
- 28:12Speaker 1: with nuclear power giant Westinghouse having supported the country's power
- 28:18Speaker 1: fleet since the Russia invasion in twenty twenty two, has
- 28:22Speaker 1: even started building new American design reactors in nuclear power
- 28:27Speaker 1: plants last year alone. So if you know the background now,
- 28:32Speaker 1: the way that I just described it, and you hear
- 28:35Speaker 1: the way that they are describing it in from Zolensky,
- 28:40Speaker 1: Zolensky makes it sound like this is the most insane
- 28:42Speaker 1: idea ever, but if you look at the reality on
- 28:45Speaker 1: the ground, it's actually one of the most brilliant ideas
- 28:48Speaker 1: ever and would take away leverage from Russia to actually
- 28:52Speaker 1: get a deal done. So now you have to ask
- 28:56Speaker 1: yourself this question, why is Zelensky so hell bent on
- 29:00Speaker 1: not agreeing to this deal?
- 29:02Speaker 2: And the answer is very clear.
- 29:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna say the answer again because it's an important one.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It's because Zolensky actually doesn't want peace. I'm gonna say
- 29:14Speaker 1: that again. Zolensky actually doesn't want peace. Zolensky knows that
- 29:23Speaker 1: as soon as this war ends and there are elections,
- 29:28Speaker 1: it is game over for him. It is game over,
- 29:32Speaker 1: and the people of his country are going to vote
- 29:35Speaker 1: him out of office and they're gonna want somebody new.
- 29:38Speaker 1: And Zolensky wants the money and the cash coming in,
- 29:42Speaker 1: and his family, his friends, and the oligarchs of Ukraine
- 29:47Speaker 1: are more corrupt than those in Russia.
- 29:49Speaker 2: And that's saying something.
- 29:51Speaker 1: You think Russian corruption is bad, you have no idea
- 29:55Speaker 1: how bad it is until you look at what it's
- 29:58Speaker 1: like with the oligarchs in Ukraine, and Zolensky knows it.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And the proof of it goes back to the point
- 30:04Speaker 1: that was made. I'm going to go back to the
- 30:06Speaker 1: point that Zelensky said out loud. We don't know where
- 30:10Speaker 1: fifty percent of.
- 30:11Speaker 2: The money goes.
- 30:13Speaker 1: By the way, I can tell you exactly where it goes.
- 30:16Speaker 1: This is not hard. It's going to corrupt government officials,
- 30:21Speaker 1: it's going to many of the Zelensky cronies.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Much of it's being export out of the country.
- 30:26Speaker 1: To Warsaw, where there is massive corruption in Warsaw. You
- 30:31Speaker 1: look at all the top oligarchs in Ukraine, their families,
- 30:34Speaker 1: are in Warsaw and the money that they are receiving
- 30:37Speaker 1: in Warsaw is astronomical.
- 30:40Speaker 2: It is one of the it is.
- 30:41Speaker 1: One of the like the running jokes if you know
- 30:45Speaker 1: people that deal with Ukraine, like, it's an embarrassment just
- 30:51Speaker 1: how much money is being funneled when it comes to Ukraine.
- 30:58Speaker 1: And the Biden administration knew it and they didn't stop it.
- 31:01Speaker 1: And the question you then have to ask yourself is, Okay,
- 31:03Speaker 1: why why didn't they stop it? Why did they allow
- 31:08Speaker 1: the money to keep going in? Why did they allow
- 31:10Speaker 1: it to keep going in at record numbers? Because maybe
- 31:14Speaker 1: they were compromised. That could be part of it. Honestly,
- 31:17Speaker 1: the Biden regime may have just been straight up compromised,
- 31:21Speaker 1: just straight up compromised. Make sure you download the forty
