Latest / The Lila Rose Show / E258: Prayer Solves Crimes: How Police Are Finding Missing Children w/Dano McCollam | Lila Rose Show
Transcript
- 0:00Police officer in our church and he said I have two missing
- 0:03children and he said I don't have a single clue.
- 0:05And we prayed and we got some clues.
- 0:08They went there, checked it out and they were holding the child
- 0:11and we gave the other set of clues and the other child was
- 0:14also rescued within 24 hours. Two of these guys we prayed for
- 0:18had a resurrection. One of them's on the way home.
- 0:20Wait a minute. Yeah, he still has a scar all
- 0:23the way around his neck. Complete recovery.
- 0:25That happened seven days ago, if you.
- 0:27Read the lives of the Saints throughout history.
- 0:29Stuff like this happens. The challenge is never getting
- 0:31God to speak. The challenge is recognizing all
- 0:33the ways He's already speaking. Can police help track down
- 0:40missing persons with tips from prayer groups?
- 0:44And can the claims of supernatural healings, miracles
- 0:47and prophecy in the Bible be witnessed in contemporary times?
- 0:52That's the question that Dano McCollum asked himself as he
- 0:55studied miracles from Christian history.
- 0:58And he decided to put faith and prayer into action.
- 1:02Now, he has incredible stories of how prayer teams help rescue
- 1:06and save the lives of missing people, and in some cases, help
- 1:10bring them back to life. The mission of this podcast is
- 1:13to help people flourish in this life and the next.

- 1:48Dano McCullum, welcome to the podcast.
- 1:50Yeah. Thank you.
- 1:50So glad you're here. Thanks for making the time with
- 1:53all the busy ministry work you're doing.
- 1:55Yeah, we're all busy. Yes, tell everybody.
- 1:58Give us a brief introduction to yourself and what you do.
- 2:02Well, I oversee an organization called the Prophetic Company,
- 2:06which includes the Finders Ministry, but we train people to
- 2:10recognize and respond to the voice of God.
- 2:13We've done that with thousands of people on every continent for
- 2:17many years now. I'm cofounder also of the Bethel
- 2:21School of the Prophets with Chris Valatin and the School of
- 2:25Supernatural Intelligence. Yeah.
- 2:28Very exciting. I can't wait to dive into what
- 2:30all of that means for people listening.
- 2:32We have some familiarity. We had Jonna Shuster on the show
- 2:36and she has some familiarity with Bethel.
- 2:39She wrote a beautiful book about hearing God's voice, but she was
- 2:42sharing a little bit about your ministry.
- 2:44And when we put that episode out, people loved, you know,
- 2:47listening to it, but they really were very fascinated and
- 2:50interested in, as I'm sure you've experienced, this idea of
- 2:54not just using natural means because God gave us this
- 2:56beautiful natural means, but using supernatural means as
- 2:59well, or things like fighting missing persons.
- 3:03Absolutely, yes. It's exciting and challenging,
- 3:08and my experience with this really began by reading The
- 3:12Saints. I was doing some research on the
- 3:15supernatural throughout history and I looked at the book of Acts
- 3:20and how much interaction, how much super supernatural
- 3:25interaction there is. And then it's like, where where
- 3:28did all that go? And I found that the Catholic
- 3:32records were one of the most reliable sources that they
- 3:36actually sent teams out to try to disprove miracles many times
- 3:43or to really research in detail what happened, what didn't
- 3:47happened. And then that was the criteria
- 3:50for sainthood. When I found that, I became
- 3:52fascinated with the record of the Saints, and it was while
- 3:55reading through Saint Nicholas from the 4th century and many
- 4:01different stories. There's, you know, there's the
- 4:04reports and there's the stories and then there's the legends and
- 4:08the myths. And I love it all, to tell you
- 4:10the truth, because there's the truth is probably a mixture
- 4:15somewhere in the middle of those things.
- 4:18But one of the things that was reported over Saint Nicholas was
- 4:21that he had a dream about children being smuggled in a
- 4:28pickle barrel or being pickled or, you know, there's several
- 4:32different versions of the story. But as I read it, just something
- 4:37left in my heart. And it's like, I wonder if we
- 4:41could do that. I wonder if we could break up a
- 4:45trafficking ring with prayer. And at the time I was already
- 4:51doing a training with people from the area to recognize and
- 4:55respond to the voice of God, a prophetic training.
- 4:58And so we had about 120 people attending.
- 5:02We divided into 10 teams of 12. And I pulled posters off of
- 5:09missing children.org A. Local posters and, and we, all
- 5:15we did was we just prayed over them and asked the Lord for any
- 5:20Intel about their situation. Well, I had some back story
- 5:25information on some of these children that nobody else had
- 5:29that I had obtained from the website.
- 5:32No one knew we were going to do this exercise.
- 5:34So no one had that information available to them.
- 5:38And one of the groups actually got the name.
- 5:43The names of the people who abducted this child and the.
- 5:47Car. Like the color of the car, the
- 5:49type of car they got some. Really strategic Intel.
- 5:53So then I went to just this one team and I said, well, do you
- 5:57feel like this child is still alive or because she'd been
- 6:01missing for two years? And so they're like, they prayed
- 6:06again. They're like, we feel like she's
- 6:08alive. What should we do that like we,
- 6:12we didn't know what we were doing.
- 6:13We were just experimenting. And so we prayed some very
- 6:18specific directives over and then two days later that child
- 6:21was found after two years. So we can't draw an exact
- 6:26correlation between our prayers and her rescue except for the
- 6:31fact that she'd been missing for two years.
- 6:33And it seems at least highly coincidental, right, that that
- 6:39something happened. So there was a police officer in
- 6:44our church who is a Sergeant, and he came to us and had just
- 6:48heard about our training that. Night and he said I have two
- 6:53missing children, one of them. Needs medication.
- 6:56If they don't get it in the next 24 hours, they they won't live.
- 7:01And he said I don't have a single clue.
- 7:04And so we're talking about it in the senior pastor's office and
- 7:09it was just like four of us there.
- 7:11And we said, let's pray. And we prayed and we got some
- 7:15clues. We, the pastor's wife, Deborah,
- 7:20saw a greenhouse on a street that began with the letter J and
- 7:26had an internal sense that that these people were posing as
- 7:31friends of the family. So the Sergeant went back to the
- 7:35family, said, hey, do you guys have friends?
- 7:38And I have a greenhouse that's on a street that begins with the
- 7:41letter J And they said, oh, yeah, I think, I think you know,
- 7:46their house is green on Jefferson St.
- 7:49They went there. Checked it out and they were
- 7:52holding the child and against his will and they were able to
- 7:56rescue him and we gave the other set of clues and the other child
- 8:00was also rescued within 24 hours.
- 8:03So that's how this started. It was just an experiment.
- 8:07We weren't trying to start a ministry.
- 8:09We weren't trying to. It was just AI wonder if we
- 8:14could based upon what we see in the record of the Saints.
- 8:18And we believe that the same spirit that was in Saint Nick is
- 8:23in US, and so we can do the same things.
- 8:27And so we started that, then we had those two things happen.
- 8:30And then I don't know how that happened, but word got out about
- 8:35that and then requests started coming in from all over and
- 8:41people wanted to be part of the ministry.
- 8:42Requests of people asking for missing family members to be
- 8:45found or wanting to be part of the ministry.
- 8:48Both. Yeah, both.
- 8:51So there was like this flood like you've experienced in your
- 8:55previous podcast. There's a lot of interest in
- 8:58this area and so we. Kind of had that flood without
- 9:01any infrastructure. No marketing.
- 9:04Yeah, yeah. No marketing.
- 9:06Why would you market something? I don't think you have any.
- 9:08I mean people. That's what's so interesting
- 9:10about this is I'm pretty familiar with the with the space
- 9:14and our team over here is it sounds like people also add to
- 9:18your credit. It's not like you're out there
- 9:20like here's a book of all the missing case children's cases we
- 9:23found. Are you know, there's there is a
- 9:26a discretion and a modesty to the ministry where it's like
- 9:28we're we're doing the work, it's God's ministry.
- 9:32We're not taking credit for every person that's found.
- 9:34You know, we don't know exactly. Is our prayer precisely what
- 9:37led? In some cases we're pretty
- 9:38confident, like it's a greenhouse with the letter J.
- 9:41But I love that I I think there's a true sign of the
- 9:44Spirit, the fruits of the Spirit, when you see the
- 9:46humility and the discretion and the modesty accompanying such
- 9:51great works. You know, I heard, I heard a
- 9:53statement one time that the ultimate form of social justice
- 9:58is the restoration of dignity. And I, I think there's truth in
- 10:03that. I think that justice is the
- 10:06restoration of dignity. And there's so many things we do
- 10:09charitably or even spiritually at times that don't contribute
- 10:14to dignity. And so it's really been our goal
- 10:17to to retain the dignity of the individuals, both of the family
- 10:24of the person that has been rescued and is and law
- 10:29enforcement and their vital role in how someone actually is
- 10:33rescued. I mean, the risk that a law
- 10:36enforcement person takes to follow a clue from prayer is
- 10:43that's incredible faith. I mean, you talk about the
- 10:45person who's having the vision or the thought or the idea or
- 10:49the impression, but the police officer who believes them or the
- 10:54government official that lets this happen, that's incredible
- 10:58faith as well. And it it needs to be honored.
- 11:02Yeah, it's like blessed are those who have not seen and
- 11:04believed. Exactly.
- 11:06Get the clue directly, but they still followed up on it.
- 11:08That's right. So tell us the process here
- 11:11you're talking about like in the pastor's office or before when
- 11:14you had the groups of people and, and that you said with when
- 11:17you first tried this kind of experimentally and you had the
- 11:19prayer group set up and the group came up with, I think you
- 11:22said the the name of the parents or I don't know if you said,
- 11:26forgive me if I'm remembering this incorrectly already here.
- 11:29But they remembered specific details or they they knew
- 11:32somehow through prayer, details that were not revealed to them
- 11:34through human means. That's correct.
- 11:36Yeah. What was the process for them to
- 11:38obtain that information? Yeah.
- 11:40Well, we we do trainings with people in what we would call
- 11:45their spiritual receptors and that it's all scripturally and
- 11:49historically based. But the idea is that the main
- 11:53categories of God communicating with us is through seeing,
- 11:58hearing, sensing or perceiving. And so each of these
- 12:03categorically can be ways that God has communicated with
- 12:07people. We see them in the life of
- 12:09Jesus. We see them in the life of the
- 12:11Saints and revivalists throughout history.
- 12:14So they had already been training quite a while in those
- 12:18perceptions. So different ones were having a
- 12:20vision, others were like internal hearing a thought,
- 12:25others were having a feeling or an impression.
- 12:27But the way that we that we formulate that data or kind of
- 12:34high grade, I would say that data.
- 12:36So we actually use the scientific method.
- 12:38We get a loan and everyone gets their data points and then they
- 12:45write them down and then we come back together.
- 12:48And when we come back together, someone shares their clues.
- 12:51And wherever two or three people have the same Intel, we consider
- 12:57that higher priority data. So there's a principle all
- 13:01throughout Scripture that says every matter should be
- 13:04established by the testimony of two or three witnesses, every
- 13:08matter. So by doing, first of all, blind
- 13:13devotional exercise in the sense that we're not being influenced
- 13:17by somebody else, we're not being influenced by outside
- 13:20information, this is not just like a creative kind of euphoria
- 13:26where people are imagining together what could happen
- 13:30those. Kind of sessions.
- 13:31Like when people have tried that methodology, it often doesn't
- 13:34work because there's such a collective creative imagination.
- 13:39That takes. Off.
- 13:41That's not actually Intel. It is that getting alone with no
- 13:45information, but just a seed, just a hint, and then collecting
- 13:50that data, coming back together and where two or three agree,
- 13:54where there's two or three data points that are the similar
- 13:57among people among all the millions of potential data
- 14:02points, we're like, oh, this has a high probability up on it.
- 14:06So we do the double-blind kind of study.
- 14:12We do high priority data through two or three data points, and
- 14:17then we also do what we call actionable data.
- 14:21So when we were first learning this, I asked the policeman, I'm
- 14:24like, well, we know what spiritual things, but we don't
- 14:27know how to report to government officials.
- 14:30What do we do? And he said, I don't want to
- 14:32know anything about the about how you got the information.
- 14:37I just want to know a name, a place, an address, say like just
- 14:42the facts, just the data. So we also learned that your
- 14:49ability to hear it says in Romans 12.
- 14:54And verse 6 says if your gift is prophecy, which much of this was
- 14:58prophetic training, then prophecy according to the
- 15:02measure of your faith. What we found is we never got
- 15:07addresses before because we never believed God for addresses
- 15:10before. Like we didn't know to believe
- 15:13for it. We didn't know that was
- 15:15possible. But when we stumbled into it,
- 15:19then we realized, oh, now we actually have faith to get a
- 15:23name or to get an address or to get a data point.
- 15:28And so instead of just believing the Lord for kind of whatever
- 15:34would come in, we started believing for actionable data
- 15:38that the police needed. So in other words, somebody
- 15:42might say, well, I don't believe there's anything nefarious here.
- 15:46I think, you know, there's just something within.
- 15:49The police are like, I don't care, like I just want to know
- 15:52where they are. I just want to know who took
- 15:55them. Like this is not a court case.
- 15:58This is not motives. We just need actionable data
- 16:02that can be proven right or wrong.
- 16:05And so that became part of our faith structure of, OK, Lord,
- 16:10we're believing you for action points and we started getting
- 16:16that type of data. All right, I have to break down
- 16:19and I want to explore all of this more, but what you
- 16:22something you said earlier as sort of the foundation for the
- 16:24process, which is how people receive this spiritual
- 16:28receptivity. I think it was a phrase you
- 16:30used, how people receive a sense of God's language to them.
- 16:35And obviously, you know, we believe Holy Scripture and I
- 16:38believe the tradition, the Magisterium is a Catholic.
- 16:40This is God's word. You know, we know that certain
- 16:43elements are infallible, that this is not going to change.
- 16:46This is who God is. This is just teaching for, for
- 16:48us so we can rest on that and know we don't have to figure
- 16:50everything out ourselves. Just me and my Bible all day
- 16:53long. So there's this foundation that
- 16:55I, I, I believe in. But then in terms of our daily
- 16:57life, in terms of our personal calling or vocation, you know
- 17:01what God has for us and so much more to do with that or just a
- 17:04relationship with God and how he speaks to us.
- 17:07There's a whole world of personal connectivity with our
- 17:10Lord and, and with the Holy Spirit and with God the Father.
- 17:13So walk me through how you categorize that spiritual
- 17:17respectivity. You mentioned a few words as as
- 17:20ways that people receive, communicate with God.
- 17:24Walk me through those categories.
- 17:26Sure. Well, we start with the life of
- 17:30Jesus and then reverse engineer from there, so Jesus said.
- 17:35I only do what I see the Father doing.
- 17:38And so we know that Jesus was a seer in that sense, that he was
- 17:43having some form of vision. Whether that was mystical
- 17:47vision, whether that was internal vision, whether that
- 17:51was seen, the structure and order of the divine in creation,
- 17:57all those are it. It was probably all of those.
- 18:01So that's three categories of sight right there.
- 18:04If I understand, you said what you see externally, what you see
- 18:07in your kind of mind's eye, and then what you actually might see
- 18:11in a supernatural vision. Correct.
- 18:13And we have documentation throughout Scripture of all
- 18:16three of those dimensions being giving strategic information to
- 18:23people. Think about Joan of Arc, by the
- 18:26way, we have got her book by Mark Twain here.
- 18:29But she actually saw visions in her external to her.
- 18:33So not just in her mind's eye like a sense, but she actually
- 18:36physically was seeing visions of archangels and she had internal
- 18:40in her mind's eye. This is the, the hearing
- 18:42portion. But she would hear locutions of
- 18:45Saints. So she had this very tremendous
- 18:47spiritual, rich spiritual life. And many of the Saints have and,
- 18:51and many individuals have, or they maybe haven't explored it
- 18:53deeply, but they they may experience that.
- 18:56I think actually everybody has it because we all come to the
- 19:00Lord by God encountering us before we know him.
- 19:05And so God is always reaching out and the the idea that we
- 19:09must be born again is the idea that God would encounter us
- 19:13before we knew him. And so the challenge is never
- 19:18getting God to speak. The challenge is recognizing all
- 19:20the ways he's already speaking. Because once we recognize them,
- 19:25then I have a friend who says that when we do by intention
- 19:30what we've done by intuition, we achieve acceleration.
- 19:34And that's really the idea is like, oh, the moment I have an
- 19:39aha moment and go, that was God speaking to me.
- 19:42Now I have faith to believe for that in the future and that
- 19:47causes an acceleration of communion with the Lord and so.
- 19:53So I sidetracked you to deep dive sight, but there's that are
- 19:56other categories besides that you're talking about Jesus
- 19:59seeing what the Father does. So Jesus then also said these
- 20:02words I speak are not my own, they're what I hear my father
- 20:05saying. So he was hearing.
- 20:07And you mentioned Joan of Arc, another credible witness in both
- 20:11visions in the mystical realm and then also hearing voices
- 20:16both internally and internally and audibly.
- 20:20And, and, and we see that in the biblical record.
- 20:24And that's the thing you mentioned the authority of
- 20:27Scripture. We want to test everything
- 20:29against the character and nature of God.
- 20:32It should sound like something God would say or do.
- 20:35It should be consistent with the fruit of the spirit and the
- 20:38character of God revealed in Scripture.
- 20:41Nothing should be counter to scripture.
- 20:42We not might not have scripture for everything, but nothing
- 20:45should be counter to Scripture. And then there should be a sense
- 20:48of personal witness because Scripture also says that his
- 20:52spirit testifies with our spirit that we're the sons and
- 20:55daughters of God. So is there like an Amen inside
- 20:58of me? The voice of God to me should be
- 21:02amened by the voice of God in me, you know, and then the an
- 21:07important thing from first Corinthians 14 is it's again the
- 21:10two or three it says let two or three prophecy, let the rest
- 21:14weigh carefully what has been said.
- 21:17And so we believe that testing and judging should also happen
- 21:21within community of loved ones and leaders of hey, I'm having
- 21:25this experience. Do you think this could be God?
- 21:28You know, that kind of accountability.
- 21:30So hearing is that next category, then of of both the
- 21:38hearing through created realm, hearing through internal realm,
- 21:42and then hearing again in the mystical realm, the overlay of
- 21:46the supernatural with the natural ears.
- 21:51The third area was that of sensing.
- 21:54And so this is what many people would call a gut reaction.
- 22:00It's interesting that the eight times in Scripture that Jesus
- 22:04was moved by compassion. The word compassion in the Greek
- 22:08is actually a lot more like gut than like heart feeling.
- 22:14I it's, it's a, it's a, it's a Greek word that actually means
- 22:20to be moved in your intestines. And so it would kind of be what
- 22:24we would call like a gut feeling.
- 22:26Like I just kind of know. Exactly.
- 22:28Sense it. Well, yeah, but the sense is a
- 22:31feeling. The knowing is actually part of
- 22:34perceiving, which is conviction, so.
- 22:37So you can send something but not know how to interpret it.
- 22:39Correct. And there's all kinds of.
- 22:42Senses as well. There's flavors and fragrances
- 22:46and there's heat. There's pains, sensations of
- 22:52like empathetic pains on someone else's behalf.
- 22:55The word that in Hebrews 415 that says Jesus was touched with
- 22:59the feeling of our infirmities, the Greek there is sympatheo to
- 23:03literally feel the pain of another.
- 23:06And so that sense of sharing in the sufferings of someone else
- 23:11mystically is a very real heavenly communication.
- 23:17Wow, it's true. I mean in the Catholic
- 23:18tradition, like I think about Saint Padre Pio with the stigma.
- 23:21Exactly, Yeah. There's so, I mean there's, so
- 23:23it's like the lives of, I would say most of the Saints I know
- 23:26had some experience like that in particular feeling in their
- 23:30body. Exactly.
- 23:31Yeah. And we've had those experiences
- 23:34in healing ministry of actually feeling someone else's pain and
- 23:39then calling that out. I remember one time we were in
- 23:41India in a large meeting, and the senior leader's wife came up
- 23:46to me and said, I'm going to have to go back to the hotel.
- 23:49My kidneys are hurting so bad. I can't, I can't hardly
- 23:53function. And I said, oh, I'm so sorry.
- 23:55I said, but do you have a problem with your kidneys?
- 23:58Like, is there any history with your kidneys?
- 23:59She's like, no. And I'm like, well, do you think
- 24:02it could be spiritual? And she said, oh, I don't know.
- 24:06I never thought of that. She said, it feels like mine.
- 24:09And I said, well, let's, let's just ask the Lord, you know?
- 24:12And, and so she had an inclination that it might be
- 24:15spiritual. Her husband was out speaking, so
- 24:18she had permission to interrupt him.
- 24:20She kind of waved at him and then stepped up and said, I'm,
- 24:24I'm just feeling pain in my kidneys.
- 24:25Is anybody here suffering? 12 people responded and were
- 24:30instantly healed, but one person had multiple tumors on their
- 24:34kidneys and all the tumors disappeared and was documented
- 24:38by medical professionals. So it's an example of that
- 24:43sympathy of God speaking through sympathetic pains that would be
- 24:50in that category of sensing to. Prompt healing.
- 24:53Correct. Yeah.
- 24:56And so then so Jesus, being moved by compassion, has all
- 24:59those dimensions into it of sensing and feeling.
- 25:04And then that 4th category is perceiving, which is the least
- 25:08sensual. Obviously eyes are a sense,
- 25:10hearing is a sense, the feeling, the gut reactions are all
- 25:14senses. But perceiving is almost more of
- 25:17a conviction kind of thing. And the scripture refers to this
- 25:21as rooted in the heart. They perceived in their heart,
- 25:24they believed in their heart. And it's like my my personal
- 25:30mentor many years ago who started training me in spiritual
- 25:34life. He said, I don't know how I
- 25:36know. I just know that I know.
- 25:38And, and now I understand that he was talking about perceiving.
- 25:42It's just, it's not a feeling, it's not a vision.
- 25:45It's just like a conviction of the heart, a sense of knowing
- 25:49that is so strong that it feels almost undeniable.
- 25:55And that's what we would refer to as perceiving.
- 25:58And each one of these can happen on an external, internal or
- 26:02mystical dimension, so. You know how much I love and

- 27:57months free. There have been so many times
- 27:59when I've been looking for an OBGYN or a pediatrician or a
- 28:03family doctor when I wonder, is this doctor pro-life?
- 28:07So how do we find pro-life doctors?
- 28:09I am so thankful to my friends over at Presidio.
- 28:12They have launchedprolifeproviders.com.
- 28:15prolifeproviders.com is a values based platform where you can
- 28:19find doctors that share your values from everything from
- 28:22infertility to vaccine schedules to abortion.
- 28:25Don't settle when it comes to your family's health.
- 28:27Find the best doctor. That's pro-life providers dot.
- 28:30Com Now with the I don't know how I know, but I know that I
- 28:33know that kind of conviction. I have noticed just in my own
- 28:38experience that has been a powerful mover can be a powerful
- 28:42mover towards God, but it can be hijacked by a sometimes a broken
- 28:47mind or bad intention. Have you observed this?
- 28:51Any of these can, any of these can, and that's why we need
- 28:55community and that's why we don't do.
- 28:58We don't do finders alone. We do finders in community.
- 29:01We get alone with God so that we can guarantee the integrity of
- 29:06the data and we're not being influenced by one another.
- 29:09But then when we come back together, we're comparing it,
- 29:13we're processing it, and then even at that point, once we
- 29:16submit it to the police and then it's at their discretion.
- 29:19So there's so many layers of being tested and judged before
- 29:23it ever gets to that point of action.
- 29:27And I think that's a great, it's a great picture of what the body
- 29:32of Christ is supposed to be like.
- 29:34We make our worst mistakes in isolation when we're not
- 29:39checking things with other people.
- 29:41And that's why discussions like this are so important, because
- 29:45many times people don't feel safe to share these kind of
- 29:49experiences. But that's really in such stark
- 29:53contradiction to Scripture and to the Catholic history as well.
- 29:58It's like, no, we focus on the lives of these Saints who have
- 30:02pioneered A communion and a union with the Lord that
- 30:07inspires us. So why would we not believe for
- 30:11the same kind of connections and experiences?
- 30:14So we're just also trying to break the silence a little bit
- 30:18and invite people to, hey, let's have a conversation about what
- 30:22you've seen or what you've heard or what you've felt or what you
- 30:25perceived. And let's make it a safe place
- 30:28to have spiritual conversations without thinking we're crazy.
- 30:34And yet at the same time, if we are suffering from sleep
- 30:37deprivation or emotional breakdown or, you know,
- 30:42hallucinatory prescription meds, you know, it's it's like all
- 30:46that can be very real stuff. And we don't want to dishonor
- 30:50the Lord by attributing to him what actually has a natural or
- 30:55broken source. There's so much prudence in the
- 30:58setup that you have. And it's so it resonates with,
- 31:02with me personally in my own, in my own personal experiences of
- 31:06understanding and hearing, you know, as an example, the no, no,
- 31:08like I've, I've met people were like convinced they were
- 31:11supposed to marry somebody they knew in their gut, they're
- 31:13supposed to marry them so many, but that person, the other
- 31:16person didn't agree. And so they didn't get married.
- 31:20And that's exactly what you're saying it.
- 31:21It can't just be your, your experiences matter.
- 31:24This is not to discount the spiritual experience or the
- 31:27sense of God's communication in the in an individual.
- 31:30But like you said multiple times, you have to test it, test
- 31:33it against revealed divine revelation, scripture,
- 31:36tradition, and then test it against the body of believers.
- 31:39And maybe that other person who you'd have to get their consent
- 31:42to marry them. If they're saying I'm not going
- 31:44to marry you, then there you go, God just spoke to you.
- 31:47That particular deception makes me so sad because it keeps
- 31:51people in a holding pattern rather than in an active faith.
- 31:56And I've seen so many people captive to that idea of the Lord
- 32:00told me he's the one for me, or the Lord told me he's going.
- 32:04To. Walk in the door, you know, And
- 32:06so they sit in their house for decades waiting for Prince
- 32:11Charming to walk in the door. And it's like that's.
- 32:14Not how that. Happens like there is that one
- 32:17in a million story where that where that particular setup
- 32:22happened. But one of the reasons is
- 32:24because there's so much free will involved and and so even
- 32:30our perceptions are revealing a potential reality that still has
- 32:35very much free will. Meaning you're maybe indicating
- 32:39there, if I'm understanding you correctly, as if someone has a
- 32:42strong sense I'm supposed to marry this person that checks
- 32:44out against their own way they usually communicate with God and
- 32:46that person says no one walks away.
- 32:47Maybe God would have blessed that marriage is what you're
- 32:50saying, if that person had the other had consented.
- 32:53But then that doesn't mean this person is somehow condemned
- 32:56because what God man intends for evil or you know, whatever
- 33:00circumstances we face, Romans 828, God uses for good for those
- 33:03who trust in him. So God has an even better plan.
- 33:06Don't worry, the Plan B is not actually a Plan B.
- 33:08It's going to even be better than plan A.
- 33:10But maybe that maybe someone did walk away that was supposed to
- 33:13marry you. Everything that's key.
- 33:15That's hard to know, but everything.
- 33:17No, no, I, I, I totally agree with what you've shared and and
- 33:21it's like believing in the goodness of God as primary.
- 33:24Yes. And then responding to what's
- 33:27happening in our life in that way, but also treating our walk
- 33:32with the Lord as a partnership. Rather than a.
- 33:34Script I'm not living a pre written script.
- 33:38I'm a partner in history and, and so I need to take an active
- 33:44role on my side of responsibility.
- 33:48And I think that's what, what makes me sad is when I see
- 33:52people paralyzed by their view of sovereignty of, well, it's
- 33:57just going to happen. If it's God, it's just going to
- 33:59happen. And, and God does intervene
- 34:02sovereignly in history, but he also partners with humanity.
- 34:08And, and it's not either or, it's both.
- 34:10And, and sometimes people are waiting for lightning to strike,
- 34:15but they're not even out in the field with a lightning rod.
- 34:19And it just requires I, I like to say it this way because God's
- 34:25value is relationship. God's method is partnership.
- 34:29He's looking for partners. He could do it all himself with
- 34:32the snap of a finger exactly because he's looking for love.
- 34:36He's looking for partnership. Exactly.
- 34:39Yeah, this I, I was sharing this with you before we sat down
- 34:42here, but I had the strong sense last week because I'm, you know,
- 34:45in my family with this podcast, with live action GTB, I have all
- 34:50these visions, right? And that doesn't mean they're
- 34:53necessarily from God. I don't, I'm just going to keep
- 34:55working and testing them and praying and submitting them to
- 34:58my spiritual direction. Everything else.
- 34:59But but I had this strong sense. The Lord was saying I love human
- 35:03means. I love when you get up in the
- 35:05morning and you're not feeling it and you still make the phone
- 35:07call or whatever. I love it when I love human
- 35:10means like I, I created the created order.
- 35:12It's mine. I created you the way you are,
- 35:15you the way you are. Put in the work, make, take
- 35:17risks. It's not going to be perfect.
- 35:19I love all of that and I will give you supernatural support
- 35:22throughout because God is both in the natural and the
- 35:25supernatural. But I love the the, the created
- 35:27order. And there are certain things to
- 35:30business and ministry best practices, certain ways to show
- 35:33up on a soccer field. If you're going to be a soccer
- 35:34player, you got to put in the work.
- 35:36Exactly. And that's so exciting,
- 35:38actually. It's freeing.
- 35:39It is freeing. It is freeing because we can
- 35:42find purpose in the promise, even we that the imagination is
- 35:47an invitation to what could come next.
- 35:51And if we see our role as partnership rather than just an
- 35:56actor in a script, life is much more of an adventure, and I
- 36:02think the fruit is much more bountiful.
- 36:04Yes. Yeah, the parable.
- 36:06I also think about the parable of the talents, exactly like you
- 36:09just referenced. You're going to see so much of A
- 36:13harvest if you're willing to actually work those talents that
- 36:15he gives us. Yeah, And that parable also
- 36:17talks about how I was afraid, so I hid it and it was the view of
- 36:22the master paralyzed them. Like I was so afraid of doing
- 36:27something wrong. I didn't want to offend you, so
- 36:30I did nothing. And he's like, that's what
- 36:32offends me most. You know, without faith, it's
- 36:37impossible to please God. And faith is always a risk.
- 36:41Some people think faith is like a a, a confidence that you
- 36:46couldn't possibly be wrong, but that has not been my experience.
- 36:50Faith has always been an element of risk, and it's just a risk
- 36:56worth taking. All right, I've got to ask you
- 36:59on that note, what has been the craziest experience that you've
- 37:02had through prophetic binders where you helped crack a case
- 37:06that you thought, wow, this was this was crazy.
- 37:08You've already mentioned a few that are amazing, and then I've
- 37:10got to ask you when it hasn't worked.
- 37:12Yeah, because I know that happens too.
- 37:14Oh, absolutely, absolutely. And I'm and.
- 37:16When it hasn't worked but you really thought it was going to
- 37:18work. Yeah, I mean, that's every time.
- 37:22You know, we wouldn't do this if we didn't think it was going to
- 37:25work, you know, and that's where it comes back into the all the
- 37:32moving pieces of the puzzle, you know?
- 37:35Like was the Intel wrong or did they also get Intel and move or
- 37:43leave or, you know, those kind of things?
- 37:47I don't know. It's it's it's what do.
- 37:49You mean was the Intel wrong or did they also get like the bad
- 37:51guys got Intel demonically and they're like oh, we're peace and
- 37:56out? Demonically or practically or
- 37:57whatever, yes. So the Intel was right,
- 38:01potentially. We have had the.
- 38:02Cops show up and they're they, they booked it.
- 38:05We have had cases where the police showed up and had
- 38:09evidence that they were there but are no longer there.
- 38:14So yes, that has happened as well.
- 38:19So the craziest case that's maybe hard to quantify, but I
- 38:26will share a case from our from our finders team in Australia
- 38:35and it's led by a wonderful Civic Civic engineer, just a
- 38:41brilliant man who also has wonderful encounters with Holy
- 38:45Spirit. So this is a side gig, a
- 38:48ministry. He has a.
- 38:49He has a. A normal job, yeah.
- 38:51Nobody's getting paid. For what they're doing, it's
- 38:54not, it's not a, you know, bounty hunters kind of thing,
- 39:01but. During the American exit of
- 39:06Afghanistan and the Taliban takeover, there were several
- 39:11Australian citizens who were trapped with no way to get out.
- 39:15Their passports had been confiscated there, so one of
- 39:20those was a Doctor Who was also a woman.
- 39:23And of course, the Taliban's view of women doctors is quite
- 39:26different, so there's certain details I probably wouldn't tell
- 39:32on this just because they're maybe too gory for.
- 39:35Well, we. We.
- 39:36Do we? Do get, we do get, I don't know
- 39:40about gory, but we do get explicit.
- 39:42So sounds like she was at risk of abuse.
- 39:45Yes, yes, her staff had already been murdered and were left
- 39:51hanging in her office. She was pregnant at the time and
- 39:58just wondering how am I going to get out?
- 39:59She called her sister back in Australia.
- 40:02How is? She in hiding.
- 40:04How can I get out? Yes.
- 40:05How can I get out? How can I get home?
- 40:08She didn't have an answer, but she knew there was a finders
- 40:10group at their church, actually a Baptist Church, and she went
- 40:14to the church. She asked this guy, They prayed
- 40:18and the Intel they got is just so crazy.
- 40:21Go to this border location on this day and look for a man with
- 40:27a green vest. That was it.
- 40:33Can I ask before you tell me what happens?
- 40:35She's pregnant, she's a doctor, she's in Australia, she's was
- 40:38from Australia, she's in Afghanistan.
- 40:40This is after the US pulled out. This is a few years ago after
- 40:42the US pulled out and there's all this chaos.
- 40:45Does she have a husband? I don't know that situation.
- 40:49So maybe he's somewhere he's she's, but she's alone.
- 40:52Or was she? Is she hiding with?
- 40:53Other people hiding This time she's alone and she's hiding
- 40:56and. Her.
- 40:56She has Internet access her. Phone has been killed.
- 40:59Yeah, she. Reached out to her sister.
- 41:00Pray for me, I don't know what I'm going to do.
- 41:02Correct. Wow.
- 41:03Yeah. Terrifying.
- 41:05So she goes, she goes to this border thing and she waits there
- 41:11for days and there's no man in a green vest.
- 41:17And like on the third day she's, she goes back to the border.
- 41:22You know, she's trying to be casual.
- 41:23She's like, you know? She's dressed, probably trying
- 41:28to disguise herself. Wow.
- 41:30And this day there's a man at the border with a green vest on.
- 41:35And so this is it. Now she's risking her life.
- 41:39She goes up and she said, please, Sir, I'm Australian
- 41:42citizen, my passports been confiscated.
- 41:46I I'm with child, I need to get home, you know, da, da, da.
- 41:52And at that time the way it was described is there were people
- 41:58coming up with clubs to take her out, which is what they were
- 42:04doing to many people trying to escape.
- 42:06And the man goes, stop, I know this woman, she's a good woman.
- 42:12She never met him, as far as she knew, they didn't know each
- 42:18other. So they stop, They back off, and
- 42:22she he reaches down into a satchel or something, pulls out
- 42:28her passport, hands it to her and approves her and lets her
- 42:32through. Was it her actual passport?
- 42:35Her actual passport, yeah. And she got on a plane and went
- 42:42back to Australia. Exactly, yes.
- 42:44And she's OK now, and she's OK Got to have her on the podcast.
- 42:47Exactly. That's incredible.
- 42:49It's amazing. It's amazing, yeah.
- 42:51But it's, but it's if you read the lives of the Saints
- 42:54throughout history, stuff like this happens.
- 42:57How is it different than Peter's rescue from prison, where, you
- 43:02know, the guards don't see them walking through, you know, and
- 43:07his prison doors open. It's just, I mean, this life is
- 43:13meant to be lived from a unexplainable place.
- 43:20And honestly, I would say that if you're living an explainable
- 43:24life, you're doing it wrong, you know?
- 43:28I think some people say I want to experience God
- 43:30supernaturally. I want to see a miracle, I want
- 43:32to see something, I want to hear him speak to me.
- 43:34And then they get frustrated because it seems like things go
- 43:38on as before, and then they may even get their faith shaken.
- 43:41And I've seen this especially with some people who get really
- 43:43excited about faith. They're born again, they have
- 43:45this great experience. And then they're like, it's not
- 43:47really doing it for me in the same way.
- 43:49And they fall back into old patterns.
- 43:51I think you have to approach it from a sense of journey rather
- 43:55than destination. We're, we're learning, we're,
- 43:59we're shedding old systems and learning new systems of, of life
- 44:05and health and love and light. And, and it's that renewing of
- 44:11the mind. And, and so that's, that's where
- 44:16the increasing faith comes in for me of like, OK, that didn't
- 44:20work last time and it was kind of awkward and embarrassing.
- 44:24Am I going to even take this risk again?
- 44:27And for me, there's kind of two patterns.
- 44:30First of all, we don't find everybody we look for those
- 44:34numbers might be as low as 1 out of 10.
- 44:38One out of 10 is how many people you actually can find via
- 44:41prayer. That it may be that low.
- 44:43We're working on our metrics, but it may be that low.
- 44:47So that means for every 9 tips, is that mean for every 9 tips
- 44:50you're giving law enforcement, only the 10th tip finds helps
- 44:54actually find a missing person? From.
- 44:57From what we could tell, it may be that low.
- 45:00And and then you ask yourself, is that 8 year old girl worth
- 45:08it? Is that 12 year old boy worth
- 45:10it? Is this family whose child's
- 45:14been missing for 2 1/2 years, who started as a runaway and now
- 45:18it seems like it may be something worse, closure for
- 45:21that family? Is it worth one out of 10?
- 45:27It's it's worth one out of a million.
- 45:31And for me, healing's been the same way.
- 45:36It's like, how do you, how do you stop praying when pain is
- 45:44redefining someone's life, when it's trying to rewrite what's
- 45:49possible and what's impossible for them?
- 45:52How can I take upon myself to make this about me, about my
- 45:58sense of rejection or success when they're the one who's
- 46:02suffering? Like, am I really taking a risk
- 46:06Like nothing is what's already happening, So nothing is not a
- 46:09risk. Like what if nothing happens?
- 46:11Nothing's what's already happening.
- 46:13That's not a risk. What you're risking is that
- 46:17something would happen and that's worth the risk.
- 46:21So yeah, I, I just think if you live from the journey, I'm not
- 46:28one who's arrived, Paul said. He wasn't one who's arrived.
- 46:32He's he's on a journey of faith. He's on a journey of mind
- 46:36renewal. He's figuring this out and we're
- 46:38figuring it out in community. And I think when we stay open
- 46:43and honest about our sense of journey and we stay connected
- 46:47within community, then we can keep taking those risks of faith
- 46:52where the supernatural becomes. More common and more active in
- 46:58our life. How do you interpret or even
- 47:02talk about when it doesn't work? When people are gathered
- 47:09together, they're praying. Maybe three people got the
- 47:12sense, you know, there's a red car and I think the street
- 47:16begins and maybe they even get names.
- 47:17Sometimes they get actual names, right?
- 47:19That's right. They get actual names.
- 47:20It's Fred and Jim. Had longitude and latitude
- 47:23before. Longitude and latitude about
- 47:26where someone is. OK, they have longitude and
- 47:29latitude. The cops show up, they take the
- 47:32tip, they show up, nothing. And had that happened before
- 47:38when you got longitude and latitude and they went and it
- 47:42didn't, They didn't, they weren't there.
- 47:43I don't think it. Has for that.
- 47:45Particular it hasn't not. Revelation, yeah.
- 47:48That one, That one worked. It's common though, sure, but we
- 47:52practice. Is there a correlation?
- 47:54Is there a correlation between the specific?
- 47:58Specificity. Thank you.
- 48:00Specificity. OK, we're not even going to try.
- 48:02We've got some like ADHD thing going on.
- 48:04I'm not no, no, no hate on them but myself on that.
- 48:07But how specific it is? Is there a correlation between
- 48:11how specific it is and how successful it is, or not
- 48:14necessarily? Not always, no, No.
- 48:17So, so then when it does, yeah. So talk, talk me through when it
- 48:21doesn't work. Is there?
- 48:22Give me an example, if you're willing.
- 48:23Like, what does it look like when it doesn't work?
- 48:25And how did the community discuss that?
- 48:27How did the cops receive that? What did that look like?
- 48:29Well, again, cops check. They it's a normal part of their
- 48:35job to check tips that don't pan out.
- 48:37So it doesn't bother them at all.
- 48:39Like they're, yeah, not affected by it at all.
- 48:44It's definitely harder on us, you know, harder on the
- 48:47community. I had a an older lady who's
- 48:54who's 2 granddaughters at six and eight years old.
- 48:58The deadbeat dad sold them into human trafficking and we never
- 49:06found him. And this.
- 49:08And this grandmother would come to me every week in the
- 49:12meetings. Do you have anything on my kids,
- 49:15on my grandkids yet? To this day, they're they're
- 49:18still. Not that I know of.
- 49:20And and and the father, he, he ran off with them to another
- 49:25country or did they have any details?
- 49:28Yes, there were details and and there enough details to know
- 49:37that something wicked happened, but not enough to prosecute.
- 49:43So was he still in the community?
- 49:45OK, so they they didn't know where he was or the daughters
- 49:48were and they were listed as missing children by the cops
- 49:51because he didn't have the right to take them without the
- 49:53mother's or the grandmother's. Correct, and he was already
- 49:56involved in. A trafficking kind of situation.
- 50:01And so, you know, obviously there's many possibilities of
- 50:07maybe he got leveraged for money or situation or I, I don't know.
- 50:12But you've got one of the most tragic situations you can have
- 50:16where it appears that a father is involved in his own, you
- 50:21know, with his own children. Here's a grandmother who's a
- 50:25part of our community that we're praying for and we're just not
- 50:30getting Intel or the Intel we're getting is not panning out.
- 50:36It's it's kind of like staring failure in the face over and
- 50:39over and over again. And I think it's the same thing
- 50:42that people go through when they're expecting a healing and
- 50:45the healing doesn't come. Or they're expecting to get
- 50:48pregnant. Or they're expecting, you know,
- 50:50the knight in shining armor. Or they're expecting whatever it
- 50:53is that they're hoping for. My 12 year old daughter was
- 50:56walking home from middle school and a girl jumped her and beat
- 51:01her severely and she received traumatic brain injury and
- 51:07became dyslexic and and sensitive to sound and light and
- 51:14all these kind of things. And, and I am traveling seeing
- 51:20miracles all over the world and I can't get a healing from my
- 51:25daughter and my own home. And we walked through that for
- 51:30seven years, every form of prayer or every form of
- 51:35ministry, every form of healing, every form of alternative
- 51:39medicine, like you just do anything to get your child back,
- 51:44you know, and, and the kind of the tear that that places upon
- 51:55you of Lord, this is still happening out as I'm traveling.
- 51:59Like I have testimonies on my phone of people being raised
- 52:03from the dead like that I was a part of.
- 52:09And I can't get a breakthrough for my own daughter.
- 52:13And that challenge is just part of a price of admission for a
- 52:23life of faith. And I will report that now, you
- 52:29know, she's 19 years old. She got enough healing.
- 52:34And we found some like physical things like hyperbaric chamber
- 52:40that really helped with concussions and stuff like that.
- 52:43She was able to graduate with her class.
- 52:45She just graduated from cosmetology school and then I
- 52:51had a friend who has a ministry of helping people with PTSD.
- 52:55He came over had a 40 minute conversation with her and I
- 52:59thought it looked like nothing happened like are you going to
- 53:02do anything here? He just met with her.
- 53:05I was listening in the other room and it honestly it didn't
- 53:08sound or look like anything happened and she the last bit of
- 53:16her healing slash deliverance absolutely happened.
- 53:20She was just totally different. She said, I can't help it, but I
- 53:24think about the tax 7 times a day and I just realized it's
- 53:28been a week and I've never thought about the attack.
- 53:32And it's like people want the mysteries of supernatural, but
- 53:40they don't want the mystery of that dichotomy of life of, you
- 53:49know, the natural exactly of the natural of like, like why did
- 53:55why didn't it work? And why am I still seeing
- 53:58miracles here and not home and da da, da, da, da.
- 54:01It's like, I don't know, it's probably the wrong question, you
- 54:05know? But do I stop?
- 54:10Somebody else's blessing because I can't get my own.
- 54:13Isn't that the ultimate form of selfishness?
- 54:16Like how how could I make that choice, you know, to quit
- 54:21believing because of my pain Seems I don't know that just
- 54:29seems to self-centered to to be reconciled to faith.
- 54:34So we just keep going for it, keep believing and keep seeing
- 54:40and, and believing in the goodness of God will manifest.
- 54:44And, you know, now we're in one of those seasons where after
- 54:48seven years of hell at home, we, we've got some victory, we got
- 54:54some breakthrough and, and and that's just the realities, you
- 55:00know, of life. Yeah, Jesus said in this world
- 55:06you'll have tribulation, but be of good cheer.
- 55:09I've overcome the world. And he, he, he never promised
- 55:13that everything would always be pain free, problem free.
- 55:17He just promised that he'd never leave or that he'd never
- 55:20forsake. And he didn't, He didn't leave.
- 55:23He didn't forsake. He was present in her pain and
- 55:27in our pain, and he was, and he was good, and he was still
- 55:32demonstrating himself in other ways.
- 55:34And why he wasn't demonstrating himself in that way and that
- 55:39season and the person that we cared about most, I don't know.
- 55:46I don't have good answers for that.
- 55:48My theology degrees do not help with that.
- 55:52But I have seen too much to turn back now.
- 56:00I don't have the luxury of unbelief because I've seen the
- 56:06largest do too many things that are too wonderful to deny who he
- 56:13is. I'm so sorry that happened to
- 56:20your sweet daughter. Thanks be to God that she's
- 56:22doing better now, but she suffered a lot.
- 56:26She did, yeah. She's strong and she's been able
- 56:31to start sharing with other people that have had traumatic
- 56:34brain injuries or have been the, the, you know, the focus of
- 56:40bullying 'cause this girl was just videoing it for her, for
- 56:45her channel and for social media.
- 56:48Yeah. She.
- 56:48Was there justice? Was the girl.
- 56:51Yeah, I. Mean she was another young kid,
- 56:54the girl who attacked her. And that's the thing.
- 56:57That's so heartbreaking. Two of them recently had a
- 56:59conversation. She just felt the courage to
- 57:02have a brave communication and contacted her.
- 57:05And she said the the the other girl said, I'm I'm so sorry.
- 57:10I was just a lost kid too. I was just a hurting person too
- 57:16and you know, it's the only It was her cry for help and her
- 57:20only way to she knew how to get some attention.
- 57:23And to beat up another kid? Yeah, Wow, your daughter's
- 57:27amazing. She is.
- 57:28Like her dad. Well, the Lord's faithful and
- 57:35anybody who wants to get in Finder's ministry, anybody who
- 57:38wants to get in healing ministry, anybody who wants to
- 57:42walk the supernatural path that Saints walked before us, that's
- 57:48the price of admission is mystery.
- 57:52Wow. Yeah, but it's worth it.
- 57:58It is worth it. It's everything.
- 58:00It's the whole purpose of everything is the mystery of
- 58:04God. Yeah.
- 58:08You made a comment as you were speaking about your precious
- 58:11daughter that you were traveling.
- 58:13You know she's suffering at home and you're doing mission trips
- 58:17and then you, you even get reports of their dead being
- 58:20raised. Can you tell me about that?
- 58:23Yeah, I can. So in the same way that I'm
- 58:30reading the Saints and I see a breaking up trafficking ring for
- 58:33children and get inspired by that, I'm reading the
- 58:38resurrection stories. I'm going why don't we do this?
- 58:40Like why don't we pray for this? You know, why has, if the
- 58:45resurrection of Christ is the central theme of the gospel and
- 58:50our salvation, like what, why, why don't we go for this?
- 58:55You know, So we just started trying, just started praying for
- 59:00people and, and seeing some results.
- 59:04So during that season in particular, I was in
- 59:09Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, and I was doing a pastor's conference with
- 59:14a couple 1000 pastors. And I was just sharing that we
- 59:18had started a resurrection team. And because we contend for
- 59:24things we see in Scripture, we contend for things we see in
- 59:27Christian history, we contend for things we see in the life of
- 59:31Saints. If if they could do it the same
- 59:35Christ as in me. And so, so we start challenging
- 59:41our our reality with his reality.
- 59:44And so I was, I was just sharing that fact.
- 59:49And it wasn't even the main point.
- 59:51It was a side point. But I could feel kind of the
- 59:54baby leap in the room, you know, there was like, I could feel a
- 59:59couple people got excited. So we just made this criteria,
- 1:00:02said OK, if you feel like this might be a primary thing that
- 1:00:06you'll really go after. And you promise to pray for at
- 1:00:09least 100 people before you give up.
- 1:00:12Pray for 100 people who have recently passed away to be
- 1:00:16resurrected. Correct.
- 1:00:17Before you give. Up before you give up, then I'll
- 1:00:21pray for you. So about 200 of them came
- 1:00:24forward. And so I laid hands on them and
- 1:00:28we just prayed a simple prayer of faith and, and, and the Lord
- 1:00:32was present and there was a, there was a sense of his
- 1:00:35confirming of, of presence and power.
- 1:00:40But the next day where we come back and two, two of these guys
- 1:00:46we prayed for had a resurrection.
- 1:00:49So one of them's on the way home.
- 1:00:51Wait a minute. Yeah, they had died the night
- 1:00:54before. No.
- 1:00:55No, no, they had prayed for somebody.
- 1:00:57OK. So yeah, we prayed the night
- 1:01:00before on the way home from that meeting.
- 1:01:03Yes, there's a car accident. The traffic's backed up.
- 1:01:07He gets out of his car. He walks up to the EMTs or
- 1:01:11whatever it is in Russia and says I'm a I'm a pastor priest.
- 1:01:19Can I pray? Is it, is there anything you
- 1:01:20need? And they said, well, you can
- 1:01:21give last rites because he's dead.
- 1:01:24And he said, OK, I'll do that. And he's walking over to do it.
- 1:01:27And he goes, Oh, no, because he was, he still wasn't even
- 1:01:31thinking about it. He was just like getting ready
- 1:01:34to give last rites. But as he's walking over, he
- 1:01:37goes, I just prayed. I just said I'd pray for 100
- 1:01:41dead people. And here's one like now.
- 1:01:44And I didn't train him how to do it.
- 1:01:46I just we just because it. Wasn't.
- 1:01:49The point of the meeting? Well, that's what the EMT.
- 1:01:51Said yeah, he's like on the ground.
- 1:01:54They sent him to do last rites, yes.
- 1:01:58So then what happened? So he went over and just prayed
- 1:02:01a simple prayer and the guy coughed and stood up and.
- 1:02:05Stood up. Stood up totally, healed totally
- 1:02:10and and another one was taking a train ride home and he was at
- 1:02:17the train station and there was like these young people that
- 1:02:22were kicking a body on the ground.
- 1:02:24Where is this? This is in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.
- 1:02:28And and they're kicking this body on the ground and, and so
- 1:02:34they think that he thinks they're beating them up.
- 1:02:37And so he runs over to interrupt it, and they're actually kicking
- 1:02:40to see if he's alive. It's like a homeless person or.
- 1:02:43Yeah, a drug addict. And so it had appeared that he
- 1:02:48had overdosed, and he checked. There's no pulse, There's no
- 1:02:52breath, there's no nothing. You know, he kind of, what do I
- 1:02:57do? And then he remembers.
- 1:02:59Oh, no, I just prayed. Yeah, I just said I'd do this.
- 1:03:03He prays for the guy. The guy coughs, actually ejects
- 1:03:08some matter and then is totally resuscitated.
- 1:03:15We could say for sure, you know? Yeah.
- 1:03:20Have there been any American resuscitations that you have
- 1:03:24heard of because of prayer? Actually, one of my students had
- 1:03:27one this week, a very similar story.
- 1:03:31Driving home or no, she wasn't driving home.
- 1:03:35She was driving to a meeting and there was a man in front of a
- 1:03:40Chick-fil-A. And she saw the family off
- 1:03:44crying on the side and and she's like, Lord, I'm going to be
- 1:03:51late. And she heard the Lord say, we
- 1:03:54don't leave dead people in the streets.
- 1:03:58And so she pulled over. She went over, She comforted the
- 1:04:01family. There were four MEMTS working on
- 1:04:05WAS. It a heart attack or?
- 1:04:07It appeared to be something like that.
- 1:04:09And so she's just comforting the family, just sitting on the
- 1:04:14sideline, everything. The EM TS finish and they're
- 1:04:19walking away. One of them is staying with the
- 1:04:22body, the other three are wrapping things up and it's very
- 1:04:26evident that he's died. And so she walks over and just
- 1:04:33stands out of their way, but stretches her hand towards the
- 1:04:36body, starts commanding life. And and then the guy is I think
- 1:04:45she said he was cutting off the clothes or something, but the
- 1:04:51other the other EMT's are gone and she's praying and declaring
- 1:04:56and then he goes wait. I have a pulse.
- 1:04:59And the other guys run back and and he's resuscitated and then
- 1:05:04she rides, she takes the family to the hospital and sits with
- 1:05:08them and he has a complete recovery.
- 1:05:12That happened 7 days ago. Yeah, here in America.
- 1:05:19Amazing. Branson, MO.
- 1:05:25Have you ever had a story of resuscitation via prayer?
- 1:05:29That is part of where there's longer distance between the time
- 1:05:34of death, because with death, the soul leaves the body.
- 1:05:37You know, we're not, we don't have the resurrected body till
- 1:05:39the resurrection. The Lord receives the soul into
- 1:05:42heaven, you know, hopefully, or you know, there's a predation
- 1:05:45process or God forbid they choose hell and they go to hell
- 1:05:48or whatever it is. Has there been a situation where
- 1:05:51there's been a distance between the time of death and the
- 1:05:55supernatural healing? Not with me and my teams, but I
- 1:06:01know Reinhardt Bonke, a German evangelist, has a quite famous
- 1:06:07story about a man who'd actually already been embalmed.
- 1:06:12Wow. And they actually do an
- 1:06:14interview with the Doctor Who embalmed him and.
- 1:06:21The man who was embalmed came back to life.
- 1:06:23Came back to life. After prayer or what was the?
- 1:06:25Yes, yeah, yeah. After prayer, there was a, there
- 1:06:29was like a prayer vigil of, of people over him.
- 1:06:33And then there was also like a a prayer item from the evangelist
- 1:06:40that they had laid upon him. But there's a documentary about
- 1:06:42it. And it's fascinating because.
- 1:06:44They took a prayer item from the evangelist who had This is a a
- 1:06:47man who died with God. Yeah, I was trying to avoid this
- 1:06:50is such. I was trying to avoid the
- 1:06:52literal thing right there. It is Catholic because it's
- 1:06:54Catholic. I'll go ahead and say it.
- 1:06:56Well, because it's Catholic I. Believe my sermon true.
- 1:06:59It's true. He said take my sermon notes and
- 1:07:02lay them on the man's chest. He goes, I can't cum myself.
- 1:07:06Oh, interesting. Take my sermon notes.
- 1:07:08He was still. Alive.
- 1:07:09He wasn't. He wasn't dead yet.
- 1:07:11Interesting. No, they brought the dead body
- 1:07:13in. No, he was dead.
- 1:07:16He was dead and embalmed. No, no, no.
- 1:07:18The guy, the guy who had the sermon notes, what's his name?
- 1:07:21Reinhart, Bonke. He wasn't dead yet.
- 1:07:24No. Because usually.
- 1:07:25He's gone on to be with the Lord now.
- 1:07:26Usually in the Catholic tradition, you you can take the
- 1:07:30relic of the St. and that has led to verifiable miracles that
- 1:07:34they signed so that the canonization process in the
- 1:07:36Catholic Church is it's very rigorous.
- 1:07:38It's super. Rigorous.
- 1:07:40You're familiar with it clearly, but you take in and you pray
- 1:07:43through the intercession of the Saint, God's power always.
- 1:07:46But the Saint has the prayers, right?
- 1:07:47And you pray for the intercession of the Saint.
- 1:07:49You believe they're in heaven with God beholding the face of
- 1:07:51the Father, and you have the maybe the relic.
- 1:07:53And if you can get a verifiable, this is no human explanation,
- 1:07:58the boy with cancers dying, the body is cancer free like that
- 1:08:02because of the, you know, the relic and the purse of the
- 1:08:04Saint, then you're like, OK, this is a, this is a verifiable
- 1:08:07miracle. But in this case, the sermon
- 1:08:10notes the people praying and the guys just stood up.
- 1:08:12What happened? He's involved.
- 1:08:14I'm sure that's not a pleasant experience if you're actually
- 1:08:17waking up alive and you're covered with that, that slime.
- 1:08:21I don't know what is that? I mean, he got up and walked.
- 1:08:24What did he? Do process is like the removing
- 1:08:26of your vital organs and everything and so it was like.
- 1:08:30Wait, they were? Did they do an autopsy on him?
- 1:08:33You're not. Evidently I mean the they
- 1:08:36interview the they interview they the medical.
- 1:08:40Doctor, we should interview the We should get that guy on the
- 1:08:43show. That would be incredible.
- 1:08:45I I yeah, I might it. Was in Africa and so I know the,
- 1:08:48you know, the process is a little different, but like
- 1:08:51they're interviewing the doctor and he's like, I can't explain
- 1:08:55this. I don't like.
- 1:08:56I promise I did every I did my due diligence.
- 1:08:59I have, you know, this is what happened.
- 1:09:02Yeah. And you know, he had he had
- 1:09:05many, many miracles in his ministry as well.
- 1:09:09But Paul, of course, they take the aprons and the Hank Hanker
- 1:09:13Club handkerchiefs when he was tent making and they would take
- 1:09:18him to the sick and they'd be healed and that was still while
- 1:09:21he was alive, so. It's amazing I there is this app
- 1:09:25that I love we talked about on the show occasionally
- 1:09:27truthfully, but it takes the Holy Scripture tradition of the
- 1:09:30church, so Catholic Church and you can ask it it's AI, but it's
- 1:09:34it's it's AI with batten down. You know, it's not like the
- 1:09:37ChatGPT scary AI yeah, but you I just asked as an example, have
- 1:09:42any Saints raised anyone from the dead?
- 1:09:44And obviously there's a scriptural examples, but it also
- 1:09:47says Saint Francis of Assisi medieval accounts.
- 1:09:50So again, where it becomes accounts like you're saying,
- 1:09:52legend, but attribute several miraculous events.
- 1:09:55Of course, Saint Francis, including instance where he is
- 1:09:57said to have raised people from the dead by the power of God.
- 1:10:00Saint Anthony of Padua was credited with raising a man from
- 1:10:03the dead to clear the Saints father of a false accusation of
- 1:10:06murder. Here's another one.
- 1:10:08Saint Vincent Ferrer, A renowned Dominican preacher of the 14th
- 1:10:11century, was reputed to her for miracles, including the raising
- 1:10:14of people from the dead. So.
- 1:10:16And several Saints were raised from the dead.
- 1:10:19Yes, Catherine, the astonishing St.
- 1:10:23Denis in France. I'm going to have to look up
- 1:10:25Saint Denis. Look, you're not Catholic yet,
- 1:10:28right? So you're schooling me?
- 1:10:31I've studied I've studied quite a few St.
- 1:10:34Denis, What was it, Saint Denis? OK, so you know the the mount
- 1:10:39of. Martyrs, I'm going to do it
- 1:10:40right now, OK? The Saint Denis, revered martyr
- 1:10:46and patron St. of France. Yeah, it's a fascinating.
- 1:10:50Story. You're right.
- 1:10:51I'm sorry. There are all these martyrdom
- 1:10:53stories where they they they've survived their martyrdom,
- 1:10:55correct? Yeah, that's how that's like a
- 1:10:57he. Was beheaded and picked up his
- 1:10:59head and carried it up Martyr's Hill to the current site.
- 1:11:04You know your stuff. Legend of walking with his head
- 1:11:06after his execution. It has said that Saint Denis
- 1:11:08picked up his severed head and, holding it, walked several miles
- 1:11:11while preaching a sermon on repentance.
- 1:11:13The act of Cephalophoor, a St. depicted as carrying his own
- 1:11:16head emphasizes miraculous sanctity and divine favor.
- 1:11:21Hey, listen, God is. God is just as alive and around
- 1:11:24today as he was then. That's the whole message, right?
- 1:11:27It's amazing. Heard a modern occurrence of
- 1:11:31that from a credible missionary. Tell me.
- 1:11:36All right, so this is a this is I, I got in trouble one time for
- 1:11:41telling the specifics. It got the missionary kicked out
- 1:11:45of that country. So I will not say what the
- 1:11:48country is and I will not say his name.
- 1:11:50Can you give us a general geographic area?
- 1:11:52It was a Muslim country in Southeast Asia, So and it's a
- 1:11:59place where they often persecute Christians.
- 1:12:02So he, this mission, this preacher was beheaded and they
- 1:12:09threw his head on one side of the road and they threw his body
- 1:12:13on the other side of the road. And it was kind of as a
- 1:12:16statement, don't come in our town, don't come in our village,
- 1:12:22you know, so. And it was done publicly.
- 1:12:26So a Muslim man who's not from that town was walking to that
- 1:12:29town and he saw what happened. And he said this is wrong even
- 1:12:34for a Christian. And so he picked up the head and
- 1:12:37he set it by the body just as an act of sanctity, of life, Good
- 1:12:42Samaritan. And when he did, the head
- 1:12:44reattached and. Then what happened?
- 1:12:46And he came back to life and the guy was so astonished.
- 1:12:50He shared salvation with him, gave his life to the Lord.
- 1:12:53Then the man walks back with this guy into the village and
- 1:12:58they'd all seen what had happened when he was killed.
- 1:13:02He still has a scar all the way around his neck.
- 1:13:05And I've met two people that have met the man who was
- 1:13:09beheaded. And he's still preaching.
- 1:13:10He's still preaching. Yes.
- 1:13:12And the village gave their lives to the Lord.
- 1:13:15Was he a leader? To that country, or was he a
- 1:13:18travelling in? Oh, he was.
- 1:13:20He was from outside that country, yeah.
- 1:13:22Guys, we got to get this guy on the show.
- 1:13:24People need to know he's too busy saving, helping save souls
- 1:13:28in Southeast. Isn't that amazing though?
- 1:13:29I. Believe it, it is amazing.
- 1:13:31Because I so this missionary told me this story and I was
- 1:13:36just in table talk with somebody one time and he goes, I know
- 1:13:40that guy. Like, not the missionary, I know
- 1:13:43the guy that that happened to. He goes, he has a scar all the
- 1:13:47way around his neck. I've met him.
- 1:13:48I've been in that country. This is a true story.
- 1:13:52You know, and he's still preaching.
- 1:13:53He's still preaching the gospel. Yeah, so that's what I'm saying.
- 1:14:00I'm just saying the the this, the the lives of the Saints
- 1:14:06reveal things that God still does today.
- 1:14:11Like this is not an old story, maybe 15 years old, you know?
- 1:14:19There's a lot of Christians today, Catholics today too.
- 1:14:22I mean, Christian Catholics are Christians, of course, but I
- 1:14:26think because of our separation, we say Christian, we Protestant
- 1:14:30Catholic. I wish we could all just say
- 1:14:32one. We.
- 1:14:33My big prayer, by the way, I talk about this on the show, is
- 1:14:35Christian unity. We should all be one.
- 1:14:38We should all be 1. And I believe when the church is
- 1:14:401, then the mass renewal and salvation, we will see far more
- 1:14:47even converts than we can see today because they'll know us by
- 1:14:50our oneness, by our love. But then, then the modern, a lot
- 1:14:54of the modern Christians think, oh, the miracles just happen to
- 1:14:57Saints. Miracles just happen in history.
- 1:15:00And and also there's a fear of pursuing the miracle.
- 1:15:04Yeah, partly because of failure. Because like you said, for every
- 1:15:08100 attempted resurrections, only maybe one works, right?
- 1:15:12You've got it. I mean, Can you imagine praying
- 1:15:13over 100 different dead people and then only the last one
- 1:15:17working? Yes, because.
- 1:15:21You have, you have a lot of people give up or they don't try
- 1:15:27more people that don't even try. Here's the challenge.
- 1:15:31It's actually not hard to raise somebody from the dead.
- 1:15:34It's hard to fight. Through thousands of years of
- 1:15:36unbelief, we have formulated a culture.
- 1:15:41Remember when Jesus went into the city and he said he couldn't
- 1:15:44do many miracles because of the atmosphere of unbelief?
- 1:15:48We have created such a culture. Makes me want to weep of.
- 1:15:52Rational faith rather than mystical faith.
- 1:15:57And we need both. We need both.
- 1:16:00We need practical faith, but we've like so relegated those
- 1:16:05things to only our history and not to our current reality.
- 1:16:11And that is that is a sad loss because the world is looking for
- 1:16:18wonder. The world's looking for mystery.
- 1:16:21Listen all the you know, the Harry Potter magic and the the
- 1:16:25occult. I mean the obsession with New
- 1:16:27Age and the occult. Shows even the Super, even the
- 1:16:29superhero movies, you know, Marvel and DC and all this.
- 1:16:33It's the cry of creation that is the sound of the cry of
- 1:16:37creation. Isn't there anything beyond this
- 1:16:41natural life? Isn't there anything beyond this
- 1:16:44natural realm? And, and they're answering it
- 1:16:47with fantasy and they're answering it with darkness.
- 1:16:51And it's time for the church, the United Church, to answer it
- 1:16:56with the light and the love of Jesus and that he is an ever
- 1:17:00present powerful help even in the midst of death, even in the
- 1:17:06midst of loss, even in the midst of of missing children.
- 1:17:12How many missing children have been found through prophetic
- 1:17:15finders? We don't have that number, yeah.
- 1:17:18And I don't, I don't. Even know if it's right to keep
- 1:17:20it. I'm trying to kind of figure
- 1:17:21that out, but one of the reasons we don't have that number is
- 1:17:25because the police told us that we can't always tell you if your
- 1:17:31Intel was helpful or not, or even whether we found the child
- 1:17:35or not because of our legal system.
- 1:17:40And a like, it's kind of, I guess it's a form of tampering
- 1:17:45with evidence or something. I don't know.
- 1:17:48But there are there are confidentiality issues and they
- 1:17:52said, will you do this even if we can't tell you the results?
- 1:17:57And our teams said yes. And I just think that's so
- 1:18:00incredibly noble. So sometimes the only evidence
- 1:18:05we have is them coming. Is the police returning For more
- 1:18:09information? So when you say only one out of
- 1:18:12the every 10 are found, that's what you know.
- 1:18:15That's all we know. OK?
- 1:18:17That's why I said it could be as few as one out of 10.
- 1:18:20That's an important distinction. So the so the cops do
- 1:18:23occasionally tell you, hey, we got the guy or.
- 1:18:25Oh yeah, and sometimes it's in the paper or sometimes it's.
- 1:18:28So you know about one out of 10 from what you have been able to
- 1:18:32ascertain from either the cops sharing something offhand or
- 1:18:36it's in the news. But it could be more than that.
- 1:18:38Absolutely. And like.
- 1:18:40You're being awfully mod. No, I'm being.
- 1:18:43Careful because I want to make sure credit goes where credit is
- 1:18:46due and I don't want to exaggerate and I also want to
- 1:18:49honor the people that are actually doing the work.
- 1:18:53You know, like again, I'm really far removed from this.
- 1:18:56I set it in motion and I do some of the training, but I, I'm not
- 1:19:01actively involved in finding missing people every day, you
- 1:19:06know, other than quality control pieces and, and some training
- 1:19:12here and there. And that's part of what we're
- 1:19:14trying to do now. We're trying to standardize some
- 1:19:16of the practices because there's both the viral side of people
- 1:19:19being excited about this, which we love and believe in.
- 1:19:23But then there's also the structured wineskin side of
- 1:19:26this, of what are protocols and best practices that make sure
- 1:19:32people are staying safe, that the truth is being told, that
- 1:19:37the right people are being honored, that dignity is being
- 1:19:41protected. All those kind of pieces are are
- 1:19:45really important. They're important to the heart
- 1:19:49of the father as well, of course.
- 1:19:51Yeah, so. We we had an exorcist on the
- 1:19:55show recently. Father Monsignor Rosetti, you
- 1:19:58would love you guys should talk. You guys should all be talking.
- 1:20:01I will try to set that up but he does some crazily crazy
- 1:20:04powerful. Deliverance ministry and healing
- 1:20:07ministries and prayers. And he's seen miracles, of
- 1:20:09course, and it's just beautiful. But he was saying you got to
- 1:20:12stay in the boat. And by boat he's talking about
- 1:20:16divine revelation and sacred scripture.
- 1:20:17He is talking about the Magisterium.
- 1:20:19You know, I believe through baptism and through unity of
- 1:20:23core theological teachings, many of us, including our Protestant
- 1:20:27brothers and sisters, and there's a they're part of a
- 1:20:29large, the larger boat. But he's saying you have to have
- 1:20:32basically we're saying the the, the parameters because, you
- 1:20:37know, like you were saying earlier, people, we are flawed,
- 1:20:41fallible human beings. And we don't have perfect sight,
- 1:20:45of course, right, Even with the best of intentions.
- 1:20:48Absolutely. Even when the intentions are
- 1:20:50good, which they're often mixed anyways.
- 1:20:52So, so when you've mentioned you're trying to build that
- 1:20:55right now, more of that anyways, have there been others who have
- 1:20:59tried to picked up, pick up this approach to supporting law
- 1:21:03enforcement and solving crime and finding missing people that
- 1:21:06have abused you feel it? Oh no, not.
- 1:21:09Intentionally. Maybe that's too harsh of a
- 1:21:10word, but have misused it, maybe inadvertently.
- 1:21:13Yes. What does that look like?
- 1:21:15OK, taking credit for things that are not measurable.
- 1:21:24What does that mean? Yeah.
- 1:21:26Well, we had one group that said they had 1000 rescues and they
- 1:21:31were credible people. And so, you know, we circulated
- 1:21:36a little bit of that and then I kind of had a check like, hey,
- 1:21:40you don't, you don't know that this happened.
- 1:21:44You're just taking their word for it, you know.
- 1:21:46And so I went and I researched it, and I got to the core person
- 1:21:53who was actually a private investigator, who was a
- 1:21:56believer, who was partnering with this team.
- 1:22:02But I said I arranged several interviews with him.
- 1:22:06I said how much of the Intel was actually key to these thousand
- 1:22:11rescues? From the prayer group.
- 1:22:13So this is a group of believers who are trying to use a, a, a
- 1:22:16form of your process. Anyways, they're inspired by
- 1:22:19you, yes, saying we're going to help help local law enforcement
- 1:22:22find missing persons. And they're telling you we found
- 1:22:24a million or a million, we found 1000 people.
- 1:22:26And you're like, that's beautiful.
- 1:22:27But let me, let me look into this A.
- 1:22:29Little. So I was like.
- 1:22:30Yeah, of course. All about it.
- 1:22:32And then then I checked it out. And so anyway, I, I did find out
- 1:22:38they weren't using our method. OK, they weren't doing blind.
- 1:22:42So getting a loan, so their imagination run wild kind of
- 1:22:47thing. So they weren't following the
- 1:22:49protocols. Remind people what that means
- 1:22:51really quick. SO yeah, when you say getting a
- 1:22:54loan, what does that mean? And then the blind.
- 1:22:55The importance of. Making the testify, we get our
- 1:22:57information not in a group, but by ourselves from the Lord.
- 1:23:01Then we come together, compare information, and we we have
- 1:23:05information written down so that you can prove that you had that
- 1:23:10information. You're not just being inspired
- 1:23:11in the moment. Then we look for the patterns of
- 1:23:15similarity and where two or three people are saying the same
- 1:23:19thing. That's the only data we use.
- 1:23:21We don't use any of the other data, even though sometimes it's
- 1:23:25right. And but that methodology is part
- 1:23:29of the the quality control structure that the Lord gave us.
- 1:23:34You know, that we felt the Lord gave us for that.
- 1:23:36So anyway, we weren't using that.
- 1:23:38And so is a little bit of imaginations were in wild.
- 1:23:41So I'm asking this guy and he's kind of going quiet and I'm
- 1:23:45like, no, I, I want to know. I need to know.
- 1:23:48And he's like none of it. He's like, I appreciate their
- 1:23:53prayers. They're probably, they probably
- 1:23:55kept me safe out there a couple times.
- 1:23:59I believe in this and I know it's true, but I haven't
- 1:24:03personally. So not a single one of those
- 1:24:05tips actually. Helping.
- 1:24:08And the guy is telling you we helped find 1000 people.
- 1:24:10Exactly. And he's saying that he's one of
- 1:24:13our teams when he's never been trained by us the like he's not
- 1:24:19following the protocols, the best practices, all that.
- 1:24:22And that's when I kind of realized, oh, the viral side,
- 1:24:26like I love the viral side. Anybody can do this, but there
- 1:24:31are some pieces that if you do it wrong or if you're taking
- 1:24:35credit for things that actually haven't happened, could be so
- 1:24:39damaging to. Faith.
- 1:24:42To faith. Scandalous.
- 1:24:43To faith exactly and I think I think they thought they were I I
- 1:24:52I think that communication just like wasn't happening and you
- 1:24:58know they associated with us without an affiliation with us
- 1:25:01and that kind of thing and I so here's the core Jesus came to
- 1:25:07seek and save that which is lost.
- 1:25:10So in our union with Christ there's an anointing and
- 1:25:14authority for everything and everyone that's lost.
- 1:25:19I believe that. I believe that part of our
- 1:25:22mystical union with Christ is the shared mission of he came to
- 1:25:27seek that which is lost. And so there is his anointing
- 1:25:32and his authority to find lost things and lost people and lost
- 1:25:38valuables and lost sheep and lost coins and lost sons.
- 1:25:43And so we want to keep things from a place, first of all of
- 1:25:50identification with Christ. We want to keep things
- 1:25:56spiritual, but also very practical and very measurable.
- 1:25:59And we want to function with us the best integrity we can.
- 1:26:04And then we want to also honor not only the Lord, we want to
- 1:26:07honor. The police and the detectives
- 1:26:10and the people who are risking their lives to rescue these
- 1:26:13children off of Intel and off of tips and things like that.
- 1:26:18So we have very trackable like proven cases.
- 1:26:23That keep people coming back for more Intel, but we also have
- 1:26:29these kind of imitation kind of things by very well meaning
- 1:26:32people like no harm, no foul. Well, there is.
- 1:26:38There is some harm and. Foul, yeah.
- 1:26:41I mean, this is, I think such an important topic that we're
- 1:26:44discussing now, which is the well-intentioned who because of
- 1:26:50the lack of virtue ultimately and wisdom and community and
- 1:26:55authority. I mean, this is also another big
- 1:26:58of my, one of my big arguments for Christian unity is like
- 1:27:00having one head as a church and one teaching authority instead
- 1:27:03of this guy, this guy, this guy. It's like who who gets to decide
- 1:27:06how we interpret a sacred Scripture as an example, right?
- 1:27:08So there's that whole like potential element here, but
- 1:27:11there's some people really good intention.
- 1:27:14I've just met someone recently. Very good intention, you know, I
- 1:27:18could tell, you know, again, you don't know someone's heart for
- 1:27:21sure, but I, I could sense goodness from this person and
- 1:27:24they were basically effectively doing a prophesying for me,
- 1:27:27telling me something about, you know, and I, I, my check in my
- 1:27:30spirit was there's a, it's an immaturity here ultimately, you
- 1:27:35know, and they're kind of throwing their weight around a
- 1:27:37little bit like I have something you have to talk to me and I'm
- 1:27:39like trying to get my kids. It's like not appropriate, like
- 1:27:42none of it. You know, it's appropriate,
- 1:27:43right? But and and this isn't to say
- 1:27:45God can't ever work that way, but you kind of get certain
- 1:27:48senses and you know, and obviously I take everything, but
- 1:27:52there were elements that were just way I could tell this is
- 1:27:54not a stable person ultimately fully, again, I think very good
- 1:27:59intentions and. This is everywhere.
- 1:28:02It is this is everywhere. And you know, I think about the
- 1:28:04Mormon church as an example and Joseph, you know, their founder.
- 1:28:08And I bet if we talked to him in person, you know, he's probably
- 1:28:12was emanating with a good intention.
- 1:28:14You know, I get, I didn't meet him personally, but my guess is
- 1:28:17throughout history there have been all kinds of cults that
- 1:28:20have been founded, false religions that have been
- 1:28:22founded, movements that have not been led by the spirit but have
- 1:28:25been led by man. But they have begun with good
- 1:28:28intentions. Absolutely.
- 1:28:31But that's where also the power of the individual to test and
- 1:28:36judge by the Holy Spirit in them is so important because
- 1:28:42sometimes we get wowed by somebody's secret information,
- 1:28:46which may have actually been Facebook, you know, or something
- 1:28:49like that. And then we start believing
- 1:28:51everything they say because of one thing.
- 1:28:54And. The whole time it's it's they're
- 1:28:58not discerning their own power and authority and they're
- 1:29:01yielding their their personal relationship.
- 1:29:07They're abdicating the authority of that over to someone else to
- 1:29:12be the arbitrator or the mediator of their relationship.
- 1:29:17And Jesus is the mediator between God and man and we are
- 1:29:23servants of reconciliation. And, and so for me, what has
- 1:29:30happened in the past is when there's been abuses, people shut
- 1:29:33down, shut down, shut down, shut down to where the supernatural
- 1:29:38is. Possible, but now it's no longer
- 1:29:40probable. Or they deconstruct or.
- 1:29:43They deconstruct. And.
- 1:29:45And I've, I've seen the deconstruction websites
- 1:29:48concerning the Saints, you know, and it's just sad.
- 1:29:50I'm like, oh, really? You, you have to go that far to
- 1:29:54try to, you know, deny this because obviously you were
- 1:29:57disappointed once in your life and how you want, you don't want
- 1:30:00anybody else to be disappointed. So you're also keeping them from
- 1:30:03ever experiencing wonder, you know, but instead of putting
- 1:30:11more and more restrictions on what we're saying is let's
- 1:30:15empower believers to test and to judge within community.
- 1:30:20Let's hold people accountable that are saying things and doing
- 1:30:23things that aren't true and aren't right.
- 1:30:26And let's let's let's don't minimize, let's maximize what
- 1:30:34Holy Spirit actually is doing, especially in the individual
- 1:30:38like that's what I read from the whole outpouring of the Holy
- 1:30:42Spirit in the last days says the Lord, I'll pour out my spirit on
- 1:30:46all flesh. Everybody, your sons and your
- 1:30:48daughters will prophecy. The young will see visions, the
- 1:30:51old will dream dreams. It's like God has made himself
- 1:30:55through Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit
- 1:30:58available to everyone, which means everybody can be powerful.
- 1:31:04But to quote Spider Man, now, with great power comes great
- 1:31:09responsibility, right? And it's true.
- 1:31:12It's absolutely true that. We've got to not narrow what is
- 1:31:19possible till nothing's happening, but we also have to
- 1:31:24like be childlike and wondrous, but also test and judge and
- 1:31:30discern what's real and what's not and not be afraid of the
- 1:31:35standards. Like again, it's one of the
- 1:31:37things I respect so much about the Catholic history is that it
- 1:31:42has all this wonder, all this mystery, but it was all
- 1:31:45researched. It was all proven, and it wasn't
- 1:31:50proven with an agenda. It was proven with with real
- 1:31:55sound reporting and examination and and.
- 1:31:59And that keeps things real and vital and powerful.
- 1:32:04And that's what we want to see within people.
- 1:32:07We encourage anybody like, hey, if you, if you lost your keys,
- 1:32:12ask the Lord where they are. You know if you lost your phone,
- 1:32:15if your pet is missing like. Saint Anthony's a God cares.
- 1:32:20Saint Anthony's a good intercessor.
- 1:32:22Exactly. He he's, he's a kind of crazy
- 1:32:25amazing and also the guardian angels are great helpers.
- 1:32:28A finder's training for San Antonio and and the the senior
- 1:32:34leader was invited to speak at a big meeting, a women's meeting,
- 1:32:40and she could not find. They were in the process of
- 1:32:44moving and she could not find her notes anywhere.
- 1:32:49And she turned both houses upside down.
- 1:32:51And so we prayed, we did our system, everybody got their
- 1:32:55things. Then they got in small groups
- 1:32:56and they shared. We gave her the exact location
- 1:33:00of her lost notebook, which is the story of Saint Anthony St.
- 1:33:05Anthony. His notes, his, his lectures and
- 1:33:10his notes, and his and his writings on the Scripture were
- 1:33:14taken by another priest. Wow, look at you.
- 1:33:18With these. Details.
- 1:33:19I don't know an ass that's. Awesome that they would be
- 1:33:23returned. That's where the tradition comes
- 1:33:25from, that's. Where the tradition of him he's
- 1:33:26a. Shortcut, by the way, he's a
- 1:33:28good shortcut when you're like, we don't have time for the
- 1:33:30groups. Saint Anthony, help me find the
- 1:33:32notes. He works like he works really
- 1:33:33well. This is what I'm saying.
- 1:33:35Like in the city named after him, there was a grace for
- 1:33:40finding. That was probably the strongest
- 1:33:44grace I've seen anywhere in America was in San Antonio.
- 1:33:49And I didn't even make the connection.
- 1:33:51And then somebody came up and you go, you know what?
- 1:33:55Our city's named after Dutch. And then I went, oh, my
- 1:33:58goodness. Like, I wonder if the grace for
- 1:34:02finding is associated with the namesake of Saint Anthony.
- 1:34:05So. I just wish that the richness of
- 1:34:08this, what you're doing in practice and teaching, you know,
- 1:34:14with all the carefulness that you approach it with, which is
- 1:34:17so beautiful and so commendable. I just, my prayer is that all of
- 1:34:22this can be available as one church for all Christians
- 1:34:27because I, I think about the Spirit moving, you know, in
- 1:34:32baptism, we're all one in, in the, in the creed, we're all
- 1:34:34one, you know, in, in scripture, we're all one.
- 1:34:36So there is elements of oneness that exists and are real.
- 1:34:40But I just think about the lives of the Saints.
- 1:34:42I think about the sacraments. So you, you know, Eucharist for
- 1:34:44me, that's everything. Getting to receive, getting to
- 1:34:46receive Eucharist, the power of the Holy Spirit working
- 1:34:48obviously through you and your ministry and all of these
- 1:34:50things. And my prayer is just how do we,
- 1:34:53how do we all become one again? I don't know if you have a
- 1:34:56thought on that. We can talk about it more after
- 1:34:57the podcast too, but. Well, it's it.
- 1:35:01It does start with that value for one another and that.
- 1:35:07Seeing God in each other. Exactly.
- 1:35:09Yeah. And there would be no
- 1:35:13supernatural record without the Catholic Church.
- 1:35:17And yet there's been elements of the Catholic Church that have
- 1:35:20persecuted supernatural, and there's been elements of
- 1:35:23Protestantism that have persecuted and restricted the
- 1:35:28Catholic Church and their record.
- 1:35:30And like, it's just all over the place and it's like the
- 1:35:34treasure. Because we need you.
- 1:35:37We we need to. We need each other, sure, some
- 1:35:40of the most. It's like you know that the the
- 1:35:43story is Martin Luther in 1500s or whatever.
- 1:35:46He almost stayed and did his reformation within he.
- 1:35:49Wanted to. That's what that's what is said
- 1:35:51and they were begging him stay because there there's always
- 1:35:53been corruption. Yeah, amongst the lay people, of
- 1:35:57course, and amongst what's the, you know, the Episcopal pit.
- 1:36:00I mean that's human nature. One of the 12 that Jesus God
- 1:36:03himself hand selected would turn over his sacred Lord to the
- 1:36:07crucifixion. One of the 12 that Jesus himself
- 1:36:10picked out as well as Saint Peter.
- 1:36:12And so I. Mean, yeah.
- 1:36:15So people tell me, well, what about this Bishop did this and
- 1:36:17that and I'm like, welcome to the word.
- 1:36:21I mean, this is this is time as old, you know, tale as old as
- 1:36:24Christ, right? Really.
- 1:36:25And before Christ, you know, we were sinners, obviously.
- 1:36:29But then I think the key is like, what are the what's the
- 1:36:31teaching? The teaching must not air.
- 1:36:33What is the food for our spiritual life, right, because
- 1:36:37we need the food and the food is both.
- 1:36:39I think the bread, their daily bread is Jesus in the Eucharist.
- 1:36:41And it's also our spiritual communion like you're describing
- 1:36:45and, and how you receive Christ in these different experiences
- 1:36:48and the Holy Spirit and God the Father.
- 1:36:49Your your description earlier was so beautiful and I think so
- 1:36:53important for the Church of different ways to discern how
- 1:36:57you may be hearing God's. Voice yeah yeah our Co founder
- 1:37:01wrote a book on that Bethany Hicks is called the God
- 1:37:03connection and it really goes through each one of those of
- 1:37:08those four areas of reception and explores them on a on an
- 1:37:14external and internal and a mystical level.
- 1:37:18And it's it's it's a good resource because again that idea
- 1:37:23that when we can add understanding and intention to
- 1:37:27the ways that God is speaking to us, it's so much easier to
- 1:37:31partner and see acceleration happen.
- 1:37:34But going back to your oneness thing, I think, you know, I'm
- 1:37:39here because I do value who you are as a Catholic believer and
- 1:37:46what you do for righteousness in the earth and what you do for
- 1:37:51the advance of God and his Kingdom.
- 1:37:54And, and I'm I'm honored to be here as well, you know, So here
- 1:38:01we go. Here we.
- 1:38:02Go. Here's here's Unity at the
- 1:38:07table, and maybe that's where it needs to happen.
- 1:38:11At the table, one conversation at a time.
- 1:38:15I got to connect you with Monsignor Rosetti.
- 1:38:16You'd love each. Other Oh yeah, I have a lot of
- 1:38:19priest friends and Catholic friends that are so supernatural
- 1:38:22and so powerful and I love, I love getting with them.
- 1:38:26So I'd love to meet him. That sounds wonderful.
- 1:38:28Thank you for your love for our Lord.
- 1:38:31Likewise. Thank you and you're and you're
- 1:38:32yes to faith because it helps build other people's faith.
- 1:38:37You're building up the faith of others.
- 1:38:38Of course you are and I and of course for the people you've
- 1:38:41actually helped, you know, save from kidnappers and you know,
- 1:38:45helping law enforcement. Thank you for all of that and
- 1:38:47and for being receptive to the Holy Spirit.
- 1:38:49You're so humble about it, which is which is beautiful, but thank
- 1:38:52you for your yes. Well, there's so many people
- 1:38:55involved that are having these real like, and I want to make
- 1:39:00sure that just because we started this branch of this
- 1:39:04expression that that's not coming back on me because it's
- 1:39:10there's people that are doing this every day in the trenches
- 1:39:14and are experiencing sometimes the horrors of what these
- 1:39:20children might be going through as well, you know, of finding
- 1:39:25people that are no longer alive. And that's hard and they're
- 1:39:32doing the hard work. And I'm just here under the
- 1:39:36lights, having a glass of water here, you know, So I I don't
- 1:39:42know if that's humility or not. I just think their stories are
- 1:39:46worth telling. Yeah.
- 1:39:50There's two more things I want to do before we close, if that's
- 1:39:53OK. First, you mentioned something
- 1:39:56earlier about a Eucharistic. We were talking about
- 1:39:58Eucharistic miracles, and you said you saw something.
- 1:40:00Yeah, I was telling you about going to Lanciano, Italy, and I
- 1:40:04saw a Eucharistic miracle. Yeah, I want to hear yours.
- 1:40:07And I don't want to hear yours. I will.
- 1:40:10I'll share mine. Yeah, I was in Malaysia and we
- 1:40:13were having an amazing meeting with signs and wonders happening
- 1:40:19and probably the hungriest group of people I've ever experienced
- 1:40:23in my almost 50 years now walking with Jesus and after I.
- 1:40:32Left. They called me up and they said
- 1:40:34Danno, something happened and we wanted to see if it was OK and I
- 1:40:38was like, Oh no. What did you do?
- 1:40:40You know, And they said. Well, we were.
- 1:40:42Praying and worshiping. We were getting ready to take
- 1:40:45communion and mana fell and so we used the mana for communion.
- 1:40:56I'm. Like OK.
- 1:40:58I. Think that's all right?
- 1:41:01I think that's OK. And so God.
- 1:41:03Gave them God, gave them himself.
- 1:41:06Wow, He gave bread from heaven for the.
- 1:41:10So I know that's different probably than the Eucharistic
- 1:41:13miracles, you know, that you're referring to.
- 1:41:16But it is, it's related. And I've certainly seen many
- 1:41:19people healed taking communion. Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:41:23But I thought that was really unique and.
- 1:41:27I want did they did they save any of it?
- 1:41:29They did. They should have it
- 1:41:31scientifically tested because the, so the Eucharistic miracles
- 1:41:35in the church that have been documented because they do
- 1:41:37scientific tests. So there's the bread and the
- 1:41:40wine. And through transubstantiation,
- 1:41:42through the line of Apostolic succession, you do the
- 1:41:44consecration and this becomes Jesus's body and blood, soul and
- 1:41:47divinity. But it's still in the species of
- 1:41:49bread and wine. So if you test it, it's like
- 1:41:51when you receive it. When I, I went to Mass this
- 1:41:52morning, I got to receive its bread and wine, but it's Jesus
- 1:41:55Christ, body, blood and soul and divinity through
- 1:41:57transubstantiation. So meaning the species is still
- 1:41:59bread and wine. In Eucharistic miracles, the
- 1:42:01species changes too and it becomes human blood.
- 1:42:05Human flesh the same blood type AB that is considered, we
- 1:42:12understand it, be Jesus's actual blood type.
- 1:42:14Interesting, I've never heard that.
- 1:42:15And then they've tested in Eucharistic miracles when the
- 1:42:18priest is actually doing this and it becomes actual blood.
- 1:42:20And he's like, oh, no, this is not this is an actual blood now
- 1:42:23that I'm this is a piece of human flesh now.
- 1:42:25And usually these are done to shore up the faith of people or
- 1:42:28in cases like the priest has doubting and God is like, no,
- 1:42:31this is really me. And they test it and it's often
- 1:42:33like the heart muscle because it's from, you know, Jesus's
- 1:42:37heart. And it's living is the other
- 1:42:38crazy thing, not dead body tissue, it's living.
- 1:42:42So in Lanciano, where I went in Italy as an example, and you can
- 1:42:46go to these sites, they actually have in the monstrance human
- 1:42:50flesh that is the same blood type, and human blood that is
- 1:42:54the same blood type. And they've tested it and it's
- 1:42:56the same. It's from the same person.
- 1:42:59So there's like an actual genetic identity that it has.
- 1:43:02And so there's this boy, Carlo Akudis, who passed away
- 1:43:06nineteen, 2001. When did he die?
- 1:43:082001 When did Carlo die? He was just sainted in the
- 1:43:11Catholic Church because there are miracles that were confirmed
- 1:43:13to be through his intercession. And so he just became a
- 1:43:16canonizing they're like millions of youth and people all over the
- 1:43:19world in Rome to celebrate him and other people pure Giorgio
- 1:43:22Farsadi. But he did a catalog because
- 1:43:25people don't even know about these things.
- 1:43:26And I, I would just guess if this was manna from heaven, I
- 1:43:30guess would be he actually sent them Jesus body and blood, which
- 1:43:36we are to receive. And if they tested it, maybe it
- 1:43:38would be the same. Maybe it would be human flesh,
- 1:43:41maybe not. I don't know.
- 1:43:41Like it's a, it's a. It sounds like a miracle, of
- 1:43:44course. Yes, yes.
- 1:43:46And they didn't consecrate it. It just came from it fell from
- 1:43:48the sky. It it appeared, I don't know if
- 1:43:51it fell, it just appeared and they did.
- 1:43:54They did show me a piece of it that they had saved in a like a
- 1:43:59little kind of. What did it look like?
- 1:44:02It looked like it's kind of like a corn flake.
- 1:44:06I mean, honestly, it looks like the biblical description of
- 1:44:08manna, like a frosted flake or something.
- 1:44:11But it also, it didn't look crunchy.
- 1:44:14It looked soft, but I didn't take it out because I didn't
- 1:44:21know how, you know? And these guys, honestly,
- 1:44:25they're just innocent new believers.
- 1:44:28They're not like it's not on the Internet.
- 1:44:31It's not like no, it was just a personal experience for that
- 1:44:37faith community. Wow.
- 1:44:38Yeah, it was cool. Very cool, thanks be to God.
- 1:44:42Yeah. Thank you, Dano.
- 1:44:45Thanks for your incredible witness.
- 1:44:47What a blessing to get to have you on the show and I hope you
- 1:44:51can come back. I know there's so many other
- 1:44:53parts of your ministry that you do beyond prophetic finders.
- 1:44:56Like you said, you started this, it's doing it, but you know,
- 1:44:59you're doing a lot of other things for the for the faithful.
- 1:45:03So thank you so much. Yeah, thank you.
- 1:45:05Thanks for having us on. And I hope that what we've
- 1:45:07shared can just honestly encourage people in their
- 1:45:11relationship with the Lord. That awe and wonder is a
- 1:45:16beautiful part of this walk with Jesus, yeah.
- 1:45:19The last thing I'm going to do, I said there were two things.
- 1:45:22You can close us with a prayer. Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:45:24And if you have a, my understanding is you do
- 1:45:27prophetic exercises. We did one with Jonah on the
- 1:45:30show using a similar approach. And I know the Saints have used
- 1:45:34it in trying to hear from God and just see if he has anything
- 1:45:38he wants to say to us. So if you could close us out
- 1:45:41with that. OK.
- 1:45:43All right, Well, Father, we thank you that you've never
- 1:45:47stopped speaking. You've never stopped moving.
- 1:45:51We love that you are an ever present help, Lord, in times of
- 1:45:56trouble, in the good times and the bad times.
- 1:46:00Yeah, I'm just even as I'm praying.
- 1:46:02I'm just feeling quick and about even the story I told about my
- 1:46:06daughter Tambourine that and Lila made reference to the
- 1:46:13Scripture that said blessed are those who believe without
- 1:46:15seeing. And I just have a sense right
- 1:46:18now even that some of you identified more with that story
- 1:46:22than any other story of I'm in a difficult place right now.
- 1:46:27I'm in a hard place where God hasn't come through or God
- 1:46:31hasn't spoken or what I expected didn't come about.
- 1:46:34I just want to take the richness of that scripture that that Lila
- 1:46:40shared, that blessed are those who believe without seeing and
- 1:46:47even the heroes of the faith in Hebrews 11, that all these
- 1:46:52believed without seeing. Their faith was not measured by
- 1:46:57the tangible result. Their faith was measured by the
- 1:47:02fact that they didn't let go and they didn't give up.
- 1:47:05And so right now I release a grace in Jesus name to endure,
- 1:47:09to persevere, to believe, to not lose your innocence, to not lose
- 1:47:14your sense of wonder. And even our listeners that have
- 1:47:19become like you kind of recognize, I think my heart is
- 1:47:22calloused. I don't know if I can believe
- 1:47:24that anymore. Yeah, you can.
- 1:47:27You can choose it, the Lord of just pull those calluses from
- 1:47:31your heart and he'll give you a childlike wonder.
- 1:47:35I know because I've been there. I know because he did it for me.
- 1:47:40He'll once again take a heart that has become stone and make
- 1:47:43it a heart of flesh. And he'll he'll restore the
- 1:47:49sense of beauty and awe and wonder in your walk with him.
- 1:47:52And and so I bless you that you don't have to stay in the place
- 1:47:57of a skeptic. You don't have to stay in a
- 1:48:00sense of feeling rejected or disappointed or, or that God
- 1:48:04didn't come through for you. No, He is there in the mystery
- 1:48:10of what happens and in the mystery of what doesn't happen.
- 1:48:14And if you just stop to take a breath, you're going to feel,
- 1:48:18you're going to sense the reality of His presence again.
- 1:48:23And you're going, you're going to resuscitate, you're going to
- 1:48:27come alive again. And so I bless you.
- 1:48:30I bless your eyes to see, I bless your heart to perceive, I
- 1:48:38bless your ears to hear, and I bless your senses to feel the
- 1:48:44goodness of the Lord in the land of the living and to experience
- 1:48:49the reality of His goodness in and through your life.
- 1:48:54To the glory of God, in Jesus name, Amen.
- 1:48:57Amen. Thank you, Dano.
