- 2:11Speaker 7: How good is God?
- 2:12Speaker 2: Huh? Think about it? Just take a slight inventory of
- 2:15Speaker 2: your own life and say it to yourself when you
- 2:17Speaker 2: get through, how good is God? Think of all the
- 2:20Speaker 2: small things all because that's him. You breathing, that's him.
- 2:24Speaker 2: You still here, that's him. You got another chance? That's him.
- 2:30Speaker 2: You ain't out of here. That's him. You got any
- 2:33Speaker 2: measure of health, that's him. You think it's more to
- 2:36Speaker 2: it than it really is than it already showed up
- 2:38Speaker 2: to be. That's him. All of that. You got any
- 2:42Speaker 2: dreams or aspirations, you dream of other things, that's him.
- 2:46Speaker 2: All that, that's him. That's him. Him. Clothes you got,
- 2:49Speaker 2: that's him every time you eat. That's why they had
- 2:52Speaker 2: this thing called you say your grace. That's him. See
- 2:55Speaker 2: that's him, man, that's him. It's amazing. When you take
- 2:58Speaker 2: a small inventory, you find out how big God really
- 3:01Speaker 2: is in your life. Now, the more you turn yourself
- 3:04Speaker 2: over to him, the bigger he can be for you. See,
- 3:07Speaker 2: he'll only be as big as you let him. It's
- 3:09Speaker 2: one thing about God. Now, he's a gentleman. He can
- 3:13Speaker 2: make you do anything.
- 3:15Speaker 8: You know.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You get too big for him, you know, you you
- 3:19Speaker 2: lose your humbleness. He can humble you.
- 3:22Speaker 9: Now.
- 3:23Speaker 2: God created man with the power of choice. We're the
- 3:29Speaker 2: only creature he created that. He gave us the total
- 3:32Speaker 2: power of choice when we mate, who we mate with.
- 3:35Speaker 2: You know everything, all of it. Man. It's a choice
- 3:40Speaker 2: what we want to be, how much we want to make,
- 3:42Speaker 2: where we want to live, with climate we want to
- 3:44Speaker 2: live in. We can live in cold climates, hot climates.
- 3:47Speaker 2: You know, we speak different languages. You can go learn
- 3:49Speaker 2: another language. A bear can't do nothing but be a bear.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Is he can't go learn how to be a fox.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Ain't gonna learn how to be an otter? He just can't.
- 4:03Speaker 2: And Ostrich is an ostrich man. He can't come out
- 4:06Speaker 2: here and fight like a lion. A lion is a lion.
- 4:09Speaker 2: A lion eating meat. He can't eat vegetables. I don't
- 4:12Speaker 2: care how much meat ain't around. He'll lay down and
- 4:15Speaker 2: pull up out of here and die because he can't
- 4:17Speaker 2: eat grass. He just a lion man. You understand this
- 4:22Speaker 2: that God gave us. We are the one creature he
- 4:25Speaker 2: created that has total power of choice. You can make
- 4:29Speaker 2: every decision in your life. What kind of watch you like?
- 4:32Speaker 2: That's the one you can buy. You want to live
- 4:35Speaker 2: in Switzerland, go ahead. You don't like Switzerland, you can
- 4:39Speaker 2: move to Miami. You want to live your life for crime,
- 4:43Speaker 2: go ahead. That's you. He gave you the power choice
- 4:47Speaker 2: you want to do?
- 4:48Speaker 8: Right?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Come on, So now look at this thing.
- 4:53Speaker 1: We are all.
- 4:55Speaker 2: The results of a series of decisions that we have made.
- 5:02Speaker 2: If we could just identify that the problem is us,
- 5:07Speaker 2: we could began the solution. See that's the problem, y'all,
- 5:12Speaker 2: it's us. It's what we do. I threw my life
- 5:16Speaker 2: down the hill. I can't tell you how many years
- 5:20Speaker 2: based on some decisions that I was making. Now I
- 5:22Speaker 2: can justify my decision where I wasn't happy and I
- 5:25Speaker 2: was doing this and I was in miserying y'all on
- 5:28Speaker 2: that he ain't yes to you. When you get through,
- 5:30Speaker 2: you made the decisions though, and you can look at
- 5:33Speaker 2: this anyway you want to, y'all. But at the end
- 5:35Speaker 2: of the day, I'm just talking to people that's really
- 5:37Speaker 2: really wanting to improve their position in life. And how
- 5:41Speaker 2: do you do that? You got to have a solution.
- 5:45Speaker 2: How do you come up with a solution? You got
- 5:47Speaker 2: to identify the problem to even began to solve it.
- 5:54Speaker 2: But if the problem ain't ever you, how you gonna
- 5:58Speaker 2: solve something that ain't you? See? Okay, let me look
- 6:04Speaker 2: at this one. If somebody say, like I got a
- 6:08Speaker 2: child of mine, man, I just do right here. Man,
- 6:11Speaker 2: I don't even wanna get into it this morning, bore.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm struggling with this this boy. But man, you go
- 6:17Speaker 2: to people, you ask them why they do so I
- 6:20Speaker 2: just did. I just wasn't taking care of business? Why
- 6:24Speaker 2: I just didn't take care of business? Boy, do you
- 6:28Speaker 2: understand that your life is gonna be filled with you
- 6:30Speaker 2: got to take care of business. So when you're gonna start,
- 6:34Speaker 2: you know what I mean you can't.
- 6:35Speaker 3: You can't.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You can't go through life. Blame it everybody.
- 6:39Speaker 10: It's got to be you.
- 6:41Speaker 2: See, you can fix you.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You can't fix.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Nobody else if you keep getting married and the marriages
- 6:46Speaker 2: don't work. Hello, Hello, Hello, could it be you? South
- 6:52Speaker 2: Founally had to sit down and just make that decision.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Ain don't need to be coming on the radio talking
- 6:56Speaker 2: about nobody else and what they did to me, and
- 6:59Speaker 2: y'all just don't know. No, no, no, man, what about
- 7:02Speaker 2: the part you played in it? Cause see, if you
- 7:04Speaker 2: got a good marriage, you got a part to play
- 7:06Speaker 2: in that. If you got a bad one, you got
- 7:08Speaker 2: a part to play in that. Even if it just
- 7:12Speaker 2: get down to you the one picked them, how about that, mister,
- 7:15Speaker 2: mister I made a decision. The problem is usually within yourself.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Do you know that's the quickest and easy way to
- 7:23Speaker 2: fix your life. That way, you ain't got to check
- 7:26Speaker 2: with nobody. Here's the beauty of going on and admitting
- 7:29Speaker 2: that it's you. You don't have to check or clear
- 7:32Speaker 2: it with nobody to start the repair process. You don't
- 7:36Speaker 2: need anybody's permission. You ain't got to put it before
- 7:39Speaker 2: the review board to see if it will pass. It
- 7:42Speaker 2: ain't got to go through Congress. You ain't got to
- 7:44Speaker 2: hope that your local politician get their hands on it
- 7:47Speaker 2: and make a phone call for you. You ain't got
- 7:49Speaker 2: to ask any counselors to come in and sit with you.
- 7:52Speaker 2: You don't have to check in the rehair. All you
- 7:54Speaker 2: got to do is decide the problem is me. I'm
- 7:58Speaker 2: gonna start changing me. Identify the problem, and start with
- 8:05Speaker 2: the part that you can own up to. Once you
- 8:12Speaker 2: identify the problem, you can start planning on how to
- 8:15Speaker 2: fix this or how to get to accomplishing something. But
- 8:18Speaker 2: remember this plan and is important. If you fail to plan,
- 8:24Speaker 2: then please plan to fail. If you don't know how
- 8:28Speaker 2: to make a plan, let's just start with the basics.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Just make a list of what you want. Make this
- 8:36Speaker 2: list and then go to God in prayer with an
- 8:39Speaker 2: open mind and open your mind up to all the
- 8:45Speaker 2: clean opportunities that are available here. Why a lot of
- 8:49Speaker 2: people won't succeed because certain opportunities come along you don't
- 8:53Speaker 2: want to do them. That kills me. Man, when I
- 8:55Speaker 2: hear here, I ain't doing that. I know young comedians
- 8:59Speaker 2: that come to me all in time. I'm talking about
- 9:00Speaker 2: man with you and I say, man, just take every
- 9:02Speaker 2: gig you can, no matter what it pays. Well, listen
- 9:06Speaker 2: to me, son, you can go make that money that
- 9:10Speaker 2: they pay, or you can make the decision to sit
- 9:13Speaker 2: at home and make no money. It's a comedy, hard business.
- 9:18Speaker 2: They ain't paying but one hundred dollars. You gotta drive
- 9:20Speaker 2: fifty miles. But if you drive fifty miles and you
- 9:23Speaker 2: make the hundred and you stand on that stage for
- 9:26Speaker 2: thirty minutes, you are now thirty minutes better than you
- 9:29Speaker 2: was the last time you went on stage.
- 9:33Speaker 11: Ah.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Man, they ain't man, they don't pay me. I ain't coming.
- 9:36Speaker 2: You ain't finna be a comedian, man, not not like
- 9:39Speaker 2: this here. A lot of people just don't want to
- 9:42Speaker 2: do what's necessary to do. So when the opportunity presents
- 9:45Speaker 2: itself and you open up your mind to it, man,
- 9:48Speaker 2: then get ready to go on and do it. Man,
- 9:51Speaker 2: identify your problem today. Start with the part dash.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, take away all the confusion you may
- 10:07Speaker 2: be feeling today. Take away any negative thoughts you may
- 10:11Speaker 2: have had about waking up on the wrong side of
- 10:14Speaker 2: the bed, because waking up is the key. There is
- 10:19Speaker 2: joy in waking up. There is a gift that's been
- 10:23Speaker 2: given to you, and it's called the present. And what
- 10:27Speaker 2: an incredible gift it is. We are all right now
- 10:32Speaker 2: living in the present. That's a gift from God Man,
- 10:35Speaker 2: and the only one can give you that present is
- 10:38Speaker 2: God Almighty. I loving for it, Ladies and gentlemen. This
- 10:43Speaker 2: is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. And the reason we

- 12:23Speaker 9: Man?
- 12:24Speaker 2: What what do you do to for her birthday? I
- 12:27Speaker 2: did all this thought I didn't put into this. Well,
- 12:37Speaker 2: when you're gonna come canceling all I want to eat ragged?
- 12:40Speaker 1: That's so thoughtful.
- 12:45Speaker 10: I thought about it. Ain't margin's birthday too?
- 12:47Speaker 2: Okay, all night with this one too. Man.
- 12:51Speaker 10: This is the same amount of time he spent playing.

- 15:27Speaker 2: Okay, Now this past Sunday, I'm looking at a check that.
- 15:31Speaker 15: You left us with the bank, right right, I sure did.
- 15:35Speaker 15: I wrote a check Sunday.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Okay. Now the check, ma'am was two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 15:41Speaker 15: Am I correct, right, right, I wrote two checks for
- 15:43Speaker 15: my tithes and the love Offering. Right, I wrote one
- 15:46Speaker 15: for two fifty.
- 15:47Speaker 9: For the Love offer.
- 15:48Speaker 15: Okay, now what is this called regarding why are you
- 15:51Speaker 15: calling me?
- 15:52Speaker 9: Well, what I wanted to tell you is that I
- 15:54Speaker 9: hate to be a very bad news but your your

- 16:01Speaker 15: And wait a minute, you said my check bounce for
- 16:04Speaker 15: two hundred and fifty dollars.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Your check bounce.
- 16:06Speaker 9: So what I'm doing is calling you about recouping the
- 16:10Speaker 9: two fifty as well as you know you you cost
- 16:13Speaker 9: us thirty dollars uh in bank fees.
- 16:17Speaker 15: Wait a minute, now, I wrote two checks. I wrote
- 16:19Speaker 15: a check for one hundred dollars. Did that one bounce?
- 16:21Speaker 2: I don't see to it that that that one bounce.
- 16:24Speaker 2: All I know is the one that the Love Offering
- 16:26Speaker 2: has bounced.
- 16:26Speaker 15: What did you put them in at the same time?
- 16:28Speaker 15: Because I wrote them at the same time.
- 16:30Speaker 9: They all go in on Monday, ma'am. Now I didn't
- 16:32Speaker 9: put them in at the same time. I've been putting
- 16:34Speaker 9: them in for the last two three years. The problem
- 16:36Speaker 9: is why would people write there?
- 16:38Speaker 15: What is your name?
- 16:39Speaker 1: Brother, Deshaun and you was at his Sunday I was.
- 16:42Speaker 9: I don't think it matters, and when I was there, ma'am,
- 16:45Speaker 9: the problem is is that I didn't put these checks in.
- 16:47Speaker 9: And I don't understand why y'all write these checks.
- 16:50Speaker 15: To the check knowing that they're gonna these checks. There's
- 16:52Speaker 15: a lot of people, right, no, good, well not write
- 16:55Speaker 15: bad check? One clear? Why the other one didn't clear?
- 16:58Speaker 2: Maybe you didn't have enough money for both for them
- 17:00Speaker 2: to clear.
- 17:01Speaker 16: What did you just say?
- 17:03Speaker 9: Maybe you didn't have enough money in the bank for
- 17:05Speaker 9: both of them to clear. And I don't understand why.
- 17:07Speaker 15: People write these plenty money in the bank and all
- 17:10Speaker 15: my checks clear. I don't write no rubber checks.
- 17:12Speaker 9: Well you wrote one on Sunday, and that's the problem.
- 17:15Speaker 9: How you gonna try to give.
- 17:16Speaker 2: A look us?
- 17:17Speaker 15: Wait a minute, I think you got me confused with
- 17:19Speaker 15: somebody else. I don't write no bad checks.
- 17:21Speaker 2: You done wrote that to.
- 17:22Speaker 15: Be nice to you.
- 17:23Speaker 9: I'm trying to be nice to you. Win up, Can
- 17:24Speaker 9: we expect the two fifty plus the thirty dollars?
- 17:27Speaker 15: So we wait thirty dollars.
- 17:29Speaker 2: That's the bank.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Fees, ma'am for the dollg gone check bouncing my check
- 17:32Speaker 1: din bounced.
- 17:33Speaker 15: I'm gonna check my bank and if my check clear,
- 17:36Speaker 15: you're gonna pay me thirty dollars for calling me harassing
- 17:39Speaker 15: me about a two hundred and fifty dollar check bounce.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I don't write no why would you write check?
- 17:44Speaker 9: You want to sit up in the church and write
- 17:45Speaker 9: these big number checks when you know you ain't got
- 17:48Speaker 9: it in the bank.
- 17:49Speaker 15: What did you say?
- 17:50Speaker 2: I said, why would you write these checks when the
- 17:53Speaker 2: money ain't in?
- 17:53Speaker 15: Now, let me tell you one thing. I don't write
- 17:57Speaker 15: no bad checks. And you got a lotter calling me
- 18:00Speaker 15: telling me my check bounce.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Your check is the one that has bounced.
- 18:03Speaker 15: And you tell you what you do since my check bounce,
- 18:06Speaker 15: you paid them since you got all the money, And
- 18:09Speaker 15: don't call me with this again.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Hello, don't you hang up on me no more? When

- 35:35Speaker 11: Uh.
- 35:35Speaker 14: Flight delays and cancelations worsened this week as a result
- 35:39Speaker 14: of the US government shutdown. The FAA reported staffing shortages
- 35:43Speaker 14: at key airports, including Chicago, Nashville, Dallas, and Newark, where
- 35:48Speaker 14: air traffic controllers continue to work without pay. The US
- 35:53Speaker 14: Transportation Secretary has said staffing in some areas has dropped
- 35:57Speaker 14: to fifty percent, with some controllers calling in sick and
- 36:01Speaker 14: amid mounting stress. More than thirty two hundred flights have
- 36:05Speaker 14: been delayed so far, and union officials warned that fatigue
- 36:09Speaker 14: and financial uncertainty are taking a toll on workers, so
- 36:13Speaker 14: that could impact air travel this weekend.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You know, think about that if you want to travel.
- 36:19Speaker 1: This is craziness. This government shut down and everything that's
- 36:23Speaker 1: going on, and this is yeah.
- 36:25Speaker 16: Well this is crazy because the President and Congress they
- 36:29Speaker 16: still get their checks.
- 36:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, basically still go to work every day.
- 36:33Speaker 2: And yeah, when the governments shut down, the government should
- 36:36Speaker 2: get they check. That's what you're saying.
- 36:38Speaker 1: The head of the government, not everyone in the government.
- 36:41Speaker 2: The wars that's determining whether it's open or close. They
- 36:45Speaker 2: should also be determining day check too, but they're not.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Yeah right, yeah, and it is very stressful for the
- 36:51Speaker 1: air traffic control is very strong. You got a guide
- 36:54Speaker 1: those planes.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, they overworked.
- 36:55Speaker 3: That's home work.
- 36:57Speaker 2: That's a life and deaf job.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, we're doing that. Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 14: Hi, all right, guys, coming up in twenty minutes after

- 38:13Speaker 14: into the comments to co sign Cam and to let
- 38:16Speaker 14: everyone know that she's cool with his request. She has
- 38:19Speaker 14: no problem with it. Cam explained that he wants to
- 38:21Speaker 14: avoid unnecessary awkwardness. This is why he asked, uh if
- 38:26Speaker 14: it if he happens to be in the room with
- 38:28Speaker 14: one of his girlfriend's past lovers, So that's why he asked.
- 38:33Speaker 1: That's why he wants the same thing for her exactly
- 38:37Speaker 1: with the well, I.

- 38:48Speaker 2: I't gonna like that.
- 38:49Speaker 10: It was all about five mics.
- 38:53Speaker 1: So here's a question, though, should you do this? I
- 38:55Speaker 1: mean it was a good thing to do. Ask your
- 38:58Speaker 1: wife for your partner of for a list of your
- 39:01Speaker 1: past lovers.
- 39:01Speaker 2: That ain't nothing.
- 39:02Speaker 1: I want to know had account, that's that account. I
- 39:07Speaker 1: mean you do you ask her? No, you don't want

- 39:14Speaker 2: I see him, you know, we cool? You know I
- 39:16Speaker 2: see him?
- 39:17Speaker 14: Okay, but you didn't ask her for a list already.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I just saw him.
- 39:22Speaker 10: I saw him kill A lot of guys.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Have to do with somebody.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Get the list.
- 39:28Speaker 2: I ain't gonna be the same. I'm just okay that.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I think that's truthful. He's talking about he wants to
- 39:33Speaker 1: avoid unnecessary awkwardness. Cam Newton, what you do find out
- 39:39Speaker 1: where they're going?
- 39:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you gonna do this.
- 39:43Speaker 10: I don't want to play defense offense.
- 39:45Speaker 6: What you want to know?

- 40:23Speaker 14: Because everybody does have a past. I mean, you know
- 40:26Speaker 14: that we all have a pass. But to ask someone
- 40:30Speaker 14: for a list, that's kind of invasion.
- 40:32Speaker 2: First of all, my first response would have been, there

- 52:23Speaker 8: Okay, now what's this right here? This is the got
- 52:27Speaker 8: a personalized license plate? What?
- 52:29Speaker 5: What's you say?
- 52:30Speaker 1: What you say?
- 52:32Speaker 8: There's a personalized license plate here, but I guess they'll
- 52:34Speaker 8: put those on when I get there inside the vehicle personalized.
- 52:37Speaker 5: Licensese like, so you have to like special.
- 52:39Speaker 12: Order those right, I'm assuming it's got love acts on here?
- 52:44Speaker 12: What you say, uh l u v X so love
- 52:47Speaker 12: AX or love actions?
- 52:49Speaker 6: You know what?
- 52:49Speaker 5: Couldn't get myself together? This is how people get they killed.
- 52:54Speaker 5: I'm a taste dealing with this. You know what, brand

- 53:00Speaker 8: That's what you do.
- 53:00Speaker 5: You bring the car over here, you understand, ma'am brand.
- 53:03Speaker 8: I'm supposed to take this to the Timberlake off Timberlake Drive.
- 53:08Speaker 5: To take the car to bring that to my house.
- 53:10Speaker 5: Right now, anybody gonna be driving a new car. It's
- 53:13Speaker 5: gonna be me. I can't believe that bout this enough.
- 53:16Speaker 16: Do you have my dress I got.

- 53:21Speaker 5: That's my dress. You bring that call over here, and
- 53:24Speaker 5: you bring it here right now. I need to be
- 53:26Speaker 5: your next delivery because I'm gonna get on this song

- 53:31Speaker 5: I can't believe he won't this stuff for a.
- 53:33Speaker 12: Cars flown down here and I got one more on
- 53:36Speaker 12: here too.
- 53:36Speaker 8: That what what?
- 53:37Speaker 1: What?
- 53:38Speaker 12: What's the note?
- 53:39Speaker 8: It says Vernetta you Bnetta?
- 53:42Speaker 5: Yes, I'm Brenetda.
- 53:43Speaker 8: Okay, it says Vernetta. This is nephew Tommy. You've just
- 53:47Speaker 8: been praised by your husband will Kins Bananda. This is
- 53:54Speaker 8: a nephew Tobby baby for the Steve Hobby Mornings. Yo.
- 53:57Speaker 12: Your husband got me to prink about to get killed.
- 54:03Speaker 5: It was gonna be.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 54:08Speaker 15: I'm gonna need me a drink.
- 54:09Speaker 5: I'm gonna give me a drunk.
- 54:12Speaker 8: I gotta ask you one more thing, baby. What is
- 54:14Speaker 8: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show.
- 54:17Speaker 5: In the land, The Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, I
- 54:21Speaker 5: thought this was over. I was gonna take that truck
- 54:24Speaker 5: and run of this.
- 54:27Speaker 9: Talk to me, man, I'm still stupid. That's all I
- 54:34Speaker 9: want to know. Just give me my confroimation.
- 54:37Speaker 2: Right there. That question, that's all I need from y'all.
- 54:41Speaker 2: You never know that. I got to just make make
- 54:44Speaker 2: sure I still got the Could you not ask us
- 54:49Speaker 2: that anymore? What you don't want to hear her? YEA,
- 54:53Speaker 2: quit asking us? Am I still stupid?
- 54:55Speaker 1: Don't rhetorical question?
- 54:57Speaker 2: Just continue on as.
- 55:00Speaker 9: Yes, I'm as stupid as they come, you know, but
- 55:06Speaker 9: it's it's from a genius. But it's from a genius perspective.
- 55:10Speaker 9: And that's the part a lot of people don't really understand.
- 55:13Speaker 9: There's a lot of genius.
- 55:14Speaker 2: That's the part you can't explain. Yeah, well, no genius
- 55:20Speaker 2: really can. Yeah see, most genius don't ever have to
- 55:23Speaker 2: say they genius. Other people do it. Nobody has ever
- 55:27Speaker 2: called you a genius.
- 55:31Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew. Coming up next my strawberry letter,

- 56:42Speaker 2: it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter.
- 56:45Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject what was she doing while I
- 56:48Speaker 1: was gone? Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty three year
- 56:51Speaker 1: old black man married for nine years. When I got married,
- 56:55Speaker 1: I was young and still in the streets.
- 56:57Speaker 14: Over time, I got an associate's degree and I got
- 57:00Speaker 14: a job in a position of leadership. But I was
- 57:03Speaker 14: still hanging out with the same crew, and I got
- 57:06Speaker 14: caught up and ended up in jail. A friend of
- 57:09Speaker 14: mine asked me to drive him to the liquor store,
- 57:12Speaker 14: so I did. He went in and came out, and
- 57:14Speaker 14: we left. I had no idea that he had committed
- 57:18Speaker 14: an armed robbery until I was arrested for being a
- 57:20Speaker 14: getaway driver. My wife had just had our third son,
- 57:24Speaker 14: but she held me down because she knows I'm not
- 57:27Speaker 14: a bad guy. I did my time, and I got home.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Six months ago.
- 57:31Speaker 14: I listened to the radio show while I was locked up,
- 57:34Speaker 14: and this is my favorite subject, so I'm trying to
- 57:38Speaker 14: see if you could help me. My wife is a
- 57:40Speaker 14: lot different since I got home. She dresses differently, and
- 57:44Speaker 14: she smokes weed, which is legal in our area. She
- 57:48Speaker 14: dictates if and when we have sex, and she rations
- 57:51Speaker 14: out money to me. I feel as if I can't
- 57:54Speaker 14: say anything because of what I put her through.
- 57:56Speaker 3: While I was locked up.
- 57:58Speaker 1: We were watching TV.
- 57:59Speaker 14: The other night, her phone rang and she left the
- 58:01Speaker 14: room to talk. I didn't say a word. The next morning,
- 58:05Speaker 14: she got a call and I could hear that it
- 58:07Speaker 14: was a man on the phone. She talked for about
- 58:09Speaker 14: three minutes, and as soon as she hung up, I
- 58:12Speaker 14: told her she has a lot of nerve allowing men
- 58:14Speaker 14: to call her while she's home, and there is no
- 58:16Speaker 14: way this can continue.
- 58:19Speaker 1: She told me to hush and be glad.
- 58:21Speaker 14: I still have a home because her friends helped her
- 58:24Speaker 14: out by doing things in and around the house while
- 58:27Speaker 14: I was away. I asked her what in and around
- 58:31Speaker 14: the house meant, and she ignored me. I have to
- 58:34Speaker 14: keep cool and not explode on her. What's the best
- 58:37Speaker 14: way to approach it? Well, you know right now, the
- 58:43Speaker 14: best thing you can do is get yourself together. Okay,
- 58:47Speaker 14: time doesn't stop when you go to prison. Stop expecting
- 58:51Speaker 14: things to be the same, and you need to think
- 58:54Speaker 14: about the future. What was she doing while you were gone, Well,
- 58:57Speaker 14: she was surviving. Obviously, she was taking care of three
- 59:00Speaker 14: kids alone. She was probably scared.
- 59:03Speaker 3: You said.
- 59:04Speaker 1: She held it down while you were in jail, and
- 59:07Speaker 1: she did let you come back home. Okay, but the
- 59:11Speaker 1: respect and apparently the love are gone out of this relationship.
- 59:15Speaker 14: You see and hear what she's doing. She's talking with
- 59:19Speaker 14: other men. Of course you don't like it. I mean
- 59:21Speaker 14: what man would like that from their wife? So now
- 59:25Speaker 14: you need to concentrate on your next move, and that's
- 59:28Speaker 14: being your own man. Because your wife is doing her thing,
- 59:31Speaker 14: there's nothing you can do about it.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Right now, you said it.
- 59:33Speaker 14: You have to keep cool and not explode on her.
- 59:38Speaker 14: You need to get your dignity, your self respect back.
- 59:41Speaker 14: So I suggest you get a job somewhere, you start
- 59:44Speaker 14: making your own money so she won't have to ration
- 59:47Speaker 14: it out to you.
- 59:48Speaker 1: As you say, I mean, you know no man wants that.
- 59:53Speaker 14: Save it for your apartment, you know, then you know,
- 59:58Speaker 14: fix the situation with your wife and these kids. You
- 1:00:01Speaker 14: might have to arrange visitation rights if you do eventually
- 1:00:04Speaker 14: get your own apartment. And I say, making sure your
- 1:00:07Speaker 14: kids are okay. That should be your top priority right
- 1:00:10Speaker 14: now anyway, because they missed a lot of time with you.
- 1:00:13Speaker 14: Your youngest son, Arlie even knows you. You're concentrating on
- 1:00:17Speaker 14: the wrong things. I think you expect things to be
- 1:00:19Speaker 14: the same. Clearly your wife has moved on. You need
- 1:00:22Speaker 14: to do the same now, but with purpose. Okay, Steve, this.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Is gonna be a tough one to answer for your
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: young brother. So I'm gonna just take you through this
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: thing step by step because one of the first things
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: when you're trying to solve is problem is taking full
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: responsibility and knowing what it is that you can do
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: to bring about change. The question is on the subject
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: what was she doing while I was gone? Now, you're
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: thirty three year old black man, married for nine years.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: When you got married, you were young and stilled in this.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: So you were twenty four when you got married, same
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: age as me at my first marriage. That is young
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: to be married for anybody. But you were still in
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: the streets. Over time, you got an associate degree, and
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you got a job in a position of leadership. So
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: you're realizing that you got to do better for yourself.
- 1:01:21Speaker 2: Here's a mistake you made. But I was still hanging
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: with the same crew, and I got caught up and
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: ended up in jail. How many times have I said
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: this to people? Everybody, come with you can't go with you.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: In order to grow, you have to go. I've said
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: it so many different ways. You can't worry about keeping
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: it real. You got to keep it moving. I've said
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: all of these things that tie us to the hood,
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: that ties to our old relationships and friends, but you
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: can't go get an associate degree. Here's another one that
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I said a long time ago. You can't be a
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: college student a thug in the same sense of said
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: don't match. Thugging and college student don't match. Now, you
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: didn't know what was going on, but you dropped your
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: friend off at a liquor store. He goes in and
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: comes back out. Next thing you know, you arrested because
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: you the getaway car driver. You didn't know this food,
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: went in here and robbed the liquor store. So now
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: you're out and you're an accomplished to committing an armed robbery.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Your wife had just had your third son, but she
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: held you down because she knows I'm not a bad guy,
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: did my time, and I came home six months ago.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Now here's a problem. You're not telling me how long
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: you in. You're not saying that, and you're leaving that
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: out of the letter because it helps you. But uncle Steve,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: no better arm robbery. Even with a plea you year
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: and a half two. Even if they believed you, they
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: let you plead to this right here, All.
- 1:03:00Speaker 14: Right, hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:03:02Speaker 14: coming up. At twenty three minutes after the hour subject
- 1:03:05Speaker 14: what was she doing while I was gone?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey everyone, quick health question.
- 1:03:19Speaker 14: Even though you're still thriving, still loving, still connecting, did
- 1:03:22Speaker 14: you know your immune system weakens with age. That's where
- 1:03:25Speaker 14: vaccines come in. They helped train and strengthen your immune
- 1:03:28Speaker 14: response to fight off certain respiratory illnesses like flu newmacacle, pneumonia, RSV,
- 1:03:34Speaker 14: and COVID nineteen this fall, ask your doctor which vaccines
- 1:03:38Speaker 14: you need and visit vaxsist dot com that's vaexsist dot
- 1:03:42Speaker 14: com to schedule one or more of vaccines sponsored by Pfizer.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve. Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: The subject what was she doing while I was gone?
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Well, thirty three year old black man married for nine years,
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: was in the streets when you got married. But you
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: messed around and got self degree, congratulate relations, got you
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: a job of positioning leadership. But the mistake you made
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: you were still hanging with the same crew. You got
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: caught up and you got ended up in jail. Now
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: you drop a friend off at the liquor store a
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: little till you know, he goes in and he robs
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the place. He comes back and gets in the car.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: You don't notice until you get arrested because you were
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: the driving the getaway car. Okay, Now, your wife had
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: just had your third son, but she held you down
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: in prison jail because she knows you're not a bad guy.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: You did your time, and you got home six months ago.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: You didn't really say how much time you're doing. I'm
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: assuming a couple of years, you know, eighteen months something
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: on the plea you did because they believed that you
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: just went in there and you didn't know. But let's
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: say you were gone a couple of years. All right,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: You come out and you listen to the radio show
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: while you was locked up. Thank you and Strawberry Letter
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: won your favorite thing. So that got you through. We
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: appreciate y'all, brothers. Since it's it's on lockdown, hope we
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: do something to get you through. Now you come home
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: and you notice that your wife is a lot different
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: since she got home. She dresses differently, she smokes weed,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: which is legal in our area. She dictates if and
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: when we have sex, and she rations out money to me.
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: I feel as though I can't say anything because of
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: what I put her through. While I was locked up
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: now y'all watching TV. The other night, a phone rang.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: She left the room to talk. You ain't say nothing.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Next morning, she got a call and you could hear
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: that it was a man on the phone. She talked
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: for about three minutes. As soon as she hung up,
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I told her she got a lot of nerve allowing
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: men to call her while she's home, and there's no
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: way this can continue. She told me to hush. Pretty sure.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: The word wasn't hushed. I think it was a little
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: bit more harsh than that. I think it started with shut.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Shut the front door.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, sure, and glad that you still have a
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: home because her friends helped her out by doing things
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: in and around the house while I was away. I
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: asked her what in in the house meant, and she
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: ignored me. I have to keep cool and not explode
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: on her. What's the best way to approach it? Well, brother,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: things have changed. She dressed in different as she's smoking weed.
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: She's gone through a lot holding this family down while
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: you was gone. But really, though, brother, these is the
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: consequences of your actions because you didn't leave them streets alone. Well,
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: let's say you left the streets alone, but you hang
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: with the same crew. Association brings on participation. So now
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: here we are. One of your ignorant friends did something
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: ignorant selfishly didn't tell you. Caught up, you had to
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: do time. Now your girl been watching you out in
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: the streets. She has told you you're leaving that part
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: out the letter. She then told you stop hanging with
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: them fools. You wouldn't do it because you was keeping
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: it real instead of keeping it moving. You was not
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: forgetting where you're from. You was getting caught up in
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: all that hood and lingo. There ain't got nothing to
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: do with your family. So now here's a deal. Shirley
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: said it right. You've got to get yourself together. But
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: now you have a police record. Hard to get employed
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: with a police record. So now you've got everything. All
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: of this you bought on yourself. Brother. So now I
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: can't tell you that your marriage will ever get back
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: because you never really allowed it to get off the
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: ground the right way. You stayed out there in them streets.
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Your marriage could be over. She has male friends. Now,
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: she has people that has done things for her to
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: help her out. Now, I'm gonna just tell you flat out,
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: if a man had done something to help you out,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: then we got to think about that for a second.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: I'm not saying she did anything, but you a man.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: But let's be fair. Let's not be angry with this
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: sister because you put this sister in a position where
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: she had to survive. And once you put a person
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: in survival mode, man, you can't get mad at how
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: they choose to survive. You just can't now why she
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: dressing different. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: I should have changed to see.
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: Is she wearing your clothes? I don't know what this
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: change or outfits is. Is she wear a lot of
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: your clothes? She wear baseball hats, cocked tail side is
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I don't know what the close is. But she rationed

- 1:13:48Speaker 2: you over here, Colin.
- 1:13:51Speaker 14: Because the number the top of the hour, a man
- 1:13:54Speaker 14: got dumped because he didn't let his girlfriend stay with
- 1:13:56Speaker 14: him and he needs some advice. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:00Speaker 14: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:14:07Speaker 14: this is from Eddie and Memphis. Eddie says, there was
- 1:14:10Speaker 14: a small fire at my girlfriend's place and she asked
- 1:14:13Speaker 14: to stay with me. My daughters don't like her and
- 1:14:16Speaker 14: didn't want her to stay with me, so I had
- 1:14:18Speaker 14: to tell my girl to make other arrangements. She told
- 1:14:21Speaker 14: me that there's no way that teenagers should be able
- 1:14:24Speaker 14: to make that kind of decision, and she broke up
- 1:14:26Speaker 14: with me.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: What was I supposed to do?
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: It's probably best that it is, because if that's why
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: it is, you know, because you considered your daughters. They
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: are teenagers and they don't like it, you know, and
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: you know she gonna move into the space too. Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: so and for her to break up with you, it's
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: probably good. Ridgings, man, you've ridden yourself of a lot
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: of problems.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: What she should have did was try to have some
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: type of relationship with the girls. But she ain't want
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: to do that now she want to move in there
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: and have girls are all uncomfortable looking outside. They daddy head,
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: He wasn't finna do that, and right now you ain't
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: the choice over his daughters, obviously, sir.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Well right, yeah, that was clear. Yeah, yeah, ye, So
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: go and get to step in, all right, We have
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: time for another one. This is from Draca and Philly.
- 1:15:19Speaker 14: Draca says, there's a guy at work that I want
- 1:15:22Speaker 14: to get to know better, but I'm trying to do
- 1:15:24Speaker 14: it discreetly. I try to get his attention, but he
- 1:15:27Speaker 14: seems to be distracted. I asked him if he has
- 1:15:30Speaker 14: a girlfriend, and he said no. Do you think it's
- 1:15:34Speaker 14: a turnoff if I stepped to him and ask him
- 1:15:37Speaker 14: to go out? Is that too forward?
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: Yeah? Well you've already stepped to him when you asked
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: him does he have a girlfriend? Yeah, And then he said, no,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: you have any regular guye else that looking at you yet? Okay?
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: So what you want to know that for?
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: So?
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Do you have a Boyfriend's a conversation.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: He don't, won't you?
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Yeah, clearly he's uninterested.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Right when you asked him did he have a girlfriend?
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: And that conversation just went now, and he kept going. Now,
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: you don't go.
- 1:16:08Speaker 10: He don't want you.
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so so definitely don't step to him and ask
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: him out on.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: She's already stepped to him. Yeah, but I mean nothing, No, no,
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: surely you don't have to do that to a man.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: We all prefer your hunters. If you come up to
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: me and ask me, do I have a girlfriend? I
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: know you've asked me that for reasons. That's my trigger
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: to say to you. Now anything i've been thinking. If
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: it don't trigger nothing, it's because he ain't been thinking
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: of nothing.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, that's just her question. It was it too
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Is it too forward?
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: And yeah, she's already alone, lady, you can let it go.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: He's aware of you. You've asked him did he have
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: a girlfriend. He said no, he don't have a girlfriend,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: and he ain't finna make you it.
- 1:16:59Speaker 14: Yeah, Now what about this line? I try to get
- 1:17:03Speaker 14: his attention, but he seems to be distracted.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Tried. You don't have to get no man's attention. We
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: see everything. Yeah, he don't like you. If we want you,
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: we see you. We try to get your attention. Now,
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: if he ain't trying to get your attention, it's because
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: he don't want you. Yeah, something about you he don't like.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: He seems to be distracted.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Five I can Yeah, that's true. It's twenty twenty five.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: But you probably should have got that crack tooth fixed.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: That's probably what it is.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Oh so it's something that he doesn't like. Oh visual
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: he doesn't that he's something that he doesn't like.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Might be that little corner tooth that's real shop or something.
- 1:17:48Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: You never know. Crazy, only like you gotta have your
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: teeth together. I'm not We're not finish.

- 1:26:10Speaker 2: Here's my closes the remarks today.
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: This is.
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Let me just give you a few things that can
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: help you. Uh. And sometimes the things are a little
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: bit challenging, but being successful is very challenging. And most
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: people are in the quest to become happy or successful,
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: most everybody I know. So here's my remarks for you.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: I want you to get in the practice. You have
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: to practice a couple of things that's not easy to do,
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: but if you can just start practicing them, it will
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: help you on your journey to success. One of the
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: things I have practiced doing and gotten very very well at,
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: I have learned how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
- 1:27:09Speaker 2: You got to be all right when it's uncomfortable. You've
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: got to learn how to be okay when it's uncomfortable,
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: because there is going to be so many days and
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: so many times in your quest for success. That it's
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: going to be uncomfortable. Now, let me explain it to you.
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: Nobody likes being uncomfortable. It's just not comfortable. But you
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: got to get al right being uncomfortable. You got to
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: understand that this too shall pass. You have to understand
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: that this is a part of the process. You've got
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: to understand that this is a fleeting moment in time
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: that you will get to it. But you got to
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: go through it. Everything I've ever wanted has been on
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: the other side of uncomfortable. Everything I've ever wanted in life,
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: I had to go through it in order to get
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: to it. And it's okay. But you got to learn
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: how to tell yourself some things. You got to talk
- 1:28:14Speaker 2: to yourself when it's uncomfortable. You gotta be able to
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: say it is what it is. You gotta be able
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: to say, this too shall pass. You gotta be all.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: You gotta learn how to say I'm gonna be all right.
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: You got to make some work. You gotta get some work.
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: God got me. I didn't seen this before. You got
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: to learn how to do that. If you can do that,
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: you know, I told somebody something one time. I think
- 1:28:42Speaker 2: I was talking to Kean Henderson out on the golf
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: course one day. He asked me, saying, of course, been
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: one of the biggest reasons for your success. It was
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: just me and Keon talking. I said, you know what
- 1:28:54Speaker 2: it is, man, I've mastered suffering. I suffer really really well.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: I suffer and people don't know I'm suffering like I'm
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: suffering right now, but I came to work anyway. I
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: have clothes and remarks anyway. I thank God this morning
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: for a new day anyway, and I'm actually suffering through
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: some things right now, and it's more than one thing.
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: But I have learned how to suffer. I suffer really well.
- 1:29:27Speaker 10: I've learned.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: I've lived in a car for three years. I've suffered
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: for an extended period of time. I just had to
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: learn little ways to make the suffering bearable because you
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: got to learn how to go through that. That's all.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: You gotta be okay with it because it'll pass and
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: it's lee And remember this also, everybody, Everything you going
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: through is God preparing you for something you ask for.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: But He got to get you right. You got lessons,
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: you got to learn, You got strength. You have to
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: build its character. You have to mold, and you got
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: to go through things to have strength. You got to
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: go through things to build character, You got to go
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: through things to get experienced. Because what you're asking God for,
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: he already knows what you need in order to sustain
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: when you get there. So you gotta learn all the lessons,
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: and every time you fail, quit looking at it as
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: a failure. That's just another learned lesson. That's all in
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: order to get to it. You got to go through it.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: Once you understand that, it simplifies it and doesn't make
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: it easy. It simplifies it.
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: You now know.
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: This is the reason why, and it helps you deal
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: with it. But what happens with a lot of people
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: is when they start going through tough times, they always
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: want to question God, Lord, why me? Because you're the one. See,
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: you gotta remember more what you're asking for, and the
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: bigger you asking for, the bigger the requirements. It's it's
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: not going to get easier. So you know, just understand that, y'all,
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: and and you'll be fine. Now, is it going to
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: be tough? Yep? Is it going to be challenging, Yes,
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: it is, but you will be fine. God got you.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: God has a plan for you. But there are things
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: you're gonna have to go through in order to get
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: to it. To get to it, you got to go
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: through it. Those are my close remarks today. Hope that
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: helps somebody today listen form relationship with God. It's the
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: most important relationship you'll ever form, because He is there
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: when everybody else has walked away to talk to God.
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Today'd absolutely love to hear from it, y'all. Stay ask you.
