- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and its good listening to other. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo. You gotta turn you're going to
- 1:11Speaker 1: do you gotta turn to turn out. You haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out to turn turn water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fad uh huh. I shore will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. You'all listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me nah. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show, Yeah, I got one. And I got
- 2:14Speaker 1: a message for you today too. Something I was thinking
- 2:17Speaker 1: about that might help you along the way. The thing
- 2:20Speaker 1: I appreciate about so many people that I learned from
- 2:24Speaker 1: Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin, Joel Oldstein,
- 2:31Speaker 1: I can't tell you, and many more than that. I mean,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know I'm naming you know, famous people because I
- 2:39Speaker 1: know you know these names. But my father, who you
- 2:42Speaker 1: never met, was so great in my development as a man.
- 2:48Speaker 1: But my mother thought him mercy. My mother, she taught
- 2:52Speaker 1: me about faith. She gave me the things I needed
- 2:55Speaker 1: to know about. What I speak about every day that
- 2:59Speaker 1: basis was given to me by hers. So it's so
- 3:01Speaker 1: many great people. But here's the thing that I've had
- 3:05Speaker 1: to learn, and that is that if God got you
- 3:08Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on. See, I can't tell
- 3:14Speaker 1: you how many people don't really pay attention to that
- 3:16Speaker 1: close enough. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Move on. How many times have we as people allowed
- 3:28Speaker 1: God to get us through something, get us beyond something,
- 3:32Speaker 1: get us over something, get us through something, and then
- 3:37Speaker 1: even after it's completion, we sit there and we dwell
- 3:41Speaker 1: on it, and we dwell on it to the point
- 3:43Speaker 1: where it becomes an anchor around our neck, and we
- 3:47Speaker 1: can't move on. We can't move on because we just
- 3:52Speaker 1: won't let it go. It's done. If God got you
- 3:57Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move move on. Stop harboring on
- 4:02Speaker 1: the pass. Stop hanging on to every time you fail,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Stop hanging on to every time you slipped up and
- 4:09Speaker 1: messed up, Stop hanging on to every time you didn't
- 4:12Speaker 1: get it right. So what everybody makes mistakes, Everybody messes up,
- 4:19Speaker 1: everybody don't get it right, everybody struggling with something you
- 4:25Speaker 1: ain't thought. Only one but my God, Man, if God
- 4:30Speaker 1: got you through it, it's done. Move on. You hanging
- 4:34Speaker 1: on to it, for that's why He got it, got
- 4:37Speaker 1: you through it, so you can move on from it.
- 4:40Speaker 1: See a lot of things that happened to us that
- 4:43Speaker 1: we think are negative or bad experience. These are lessons
- 4:48Speaker 1: in what not to do. This is a way to
- 4:51Speaker 1: have a now or bearing on. Look out for it
- 4:54Speaker 1: the next time. You got me once, you can't get
- 4:58Speaker 1: me again. I'm telling you, man, if God got you
- 5:02Speaker 1: through it, it's done, move on. You have got to
- 5:07Speaker 1: move on. I use this analogy all the time. I'm
- 5:09Speaker 1: gonna add a little bit to it. Bishop Jake's told
- 5:14Speaker 1: me you cannot drive your car looking in the rearview mirror.
- 5:21Speaker 1: See you know what your rearview mirror is actually for
- 5:24Speaker 1: in your car. Your rearview mirror is designed. After I
- 5:30Speaker 1: pass a car and I want to merge into that lane,
- 5:35Speaker 1: or I want to make another move, I look up
- 5:38Speaker 1: in the rearview mirror, and all I use it for
- 5:42Speaker 1: it shows me that I've gotten past it. I've gotten
- 5:46Speaker 1: past the vehicle I was passing, and I got enough
- 5:49Speaker 1: room now clear to make my next move. That's what
- 5:52Speaker 1: I use my rearview mirror for. I use my rearview
- 5:56Speaker 1: mirror to just glance up every now and then to
- 5:59Speaker 1: see who coming up on me. That's all I use
- 6:02Speaker 1: it for. Listen to me real close. Now. Your rearview
- 6:07Speaker 1: mirror on your car is after you're passing something or
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're passing by something, you can look up in the
- 6:14Speaker 1: rearview mirror and it lets you know you're pasted it,
- 6:18Speaker 1: you're beyond it. It's clear now it's in the past.
- 6:23Speaker 1: You no longer have to deal with it as the
- 6:25Speaker 1: car that was in front of you blocking your way.
- 6:29Speaker 1: You have passed it. You look up in the mirror,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you've cleared it. Now if you want to switch lanes,
- 6:36Speaker 1: you could slide on over. You got room. But that
- 6:39Speaker 1: rearview mirror also lets you see if anything is coming
- 6:43Speaker 1: up on you, and you just need to glance, because
- 6:46Speaker 1: if you're moving forward, ain't a whole lot can come
- 6:49Speaker 1: up on you. You're just glancing every now and then,
- 6:52Speaker 1: and it reminds you that you got through something and
- 6:55Speaker 1: you got beyond something. That's what the rearview mirror for. Now.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Let's talk about that win shield. Why you think that
- 7:02Speaker 1: windshields so big on your car. That's the biggest window
- 7:07Speaker 1: on your car. You know why the windshield so big,
- 7:13Speaker 1: because it's where you're going. Because even the automobile makers
- 7:18Speaker 1: want you to have a wide view of where you're
- 7:20Speaker 1: going so you can see what's up ahead. They put
- 7:25Speaker 1: lights on the card night so you can have night
- 7:27Speaker 1: vision and see what's up ahead. But you can, oh, man,
- 7:32Speaker 1: see not? Why is that look? Think about that now
- 7:35Speaker 1: for I move forward with this one. Think about that windshield, man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why is that windshield so big so you can see
- 7:42Speaker 1: where you're going? It's way more important where you're going
- 7:46Speaker 1: than where you're being, don't you see that. That's why
- 7:50Speaker 1: the rear view mirrors so small because it is nowhere
- 7:53Speaker 1: in there as important as it is as to where
- 7:56Speaker 1: you're going. Why you being? Just allows you to take
- 7:59Speaker 1: a glance so you can make sure you clear it,
- 8:01Speaker 1: so you can see if it's room enough for you
- 8:03Speaker 1: to make your next move, so you can know that
- 8:06Speaker 1: you've gone through it and go head on about your business.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But that windshield, that windshield is for vision a man
- 8:13Speaker 1: without a dream of visions your parish. That windshield is
- 8:16Speaker 1: for somebody going somewhere. That windshield is for somebody else
- 8:20Speaker 1: there trying to make another move. I'm gonna go right.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm on left. I'm gonna get off on this exit.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna take this DTWOL. I'm gonna handle it signed
- 8:27Speaker 1: as a new route. There's only so many miles left
- 8:31Speaker 1: to go. That's what the windshield got. Let me tell
- 8:33Speaker 1: you something, man, when you see a mile sign, you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate, and you
- 8:38Speaker 1: let's say you're driving to a particular city and you
- 8:40Speaker 1: see a sign that says that city is thirty eight,
- 8:44Speaker 1: one hundred and thirty eight miles away. That lets you
- 8:47Speaker 1: know where you're going. And you're on the right path. Now,
- 8:51Speaker 1: if you keep looking in the rear view mirror, you'll
- 8:54Speaker 1: never know how close you are. You'll never know because
- 9:00Speaker 1: you're driving your car. Look in the review mirror. You
- 9:02Speaker 1: all on the shoulder, you hear them rocks up under
- 9:04Speaker 1: your car. You'd scared yourself to death because you know why,
- 9:07Speaker 1: because you keep looking in the rearview mirror. Get out
- 9:11Speaker 1: the rear view mirror. If God got you through, it's done,
- 9:15Speaker 1: move on. So what he don't love you know more?
- 9:18Speaker 1: And man, let's move on. If God got you through,
- 9:23Speaker 1: it's done, move on. God got something for you. If
- 9:26Speaker 1: you get out your rear view mirror and get up
- 9:29Speaker 1: in that windshield. God's got something for your up ahead.
- 9:32Speaker 1: But you can't see what's up ahead because you in
- 9:35Speaker 1: that rearview mirror. If God got you through, it is done.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Let's move on. Come on, y'all, don't let the pass
- 9:43Speaker 1: beat you up. That's the ingredients in the cake. You
- 9:46Speaker 1: haven't made that already. That's done. Let's go. God, look
- 9:49Speaker 1: in the windshield, see what God Mobil got something new
- 9:51Speaker 1: for you. If you get out the rearview mirror and look,
- 9:54Speaker 1: open up your eyes and see. All right, let's go. Today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening morning, ladies and gentlemen to Steve Harvey Morning

- 11:30Speaker 1: I'm I'm perplexed. I'm actually throwed off by the whole
- 11:34Speaker 1: damn ideal staying healthy because it counters Yeah, everything that
- 11:41Speaker 1: is unhealthy. Yeah, in order to look the best you
- 11:45Speaker 1: can look, the older you get, the less good stuff
- 11:50Speaker 1: you are allowed to eat. Yeah, you can't have pie
- 11:53Speaker 1: every day, sweet potato pie cobbler. You can't have pound
- 11:57Speaker 1: cake every day, ice cream things I love, Yeah, you can't.
- 12:01Speaker 1: You can't have it nowa pudding like you want to.
- 12:03Speaker 1: You just can't. Just can't do it. You can't eat
- 12:05Speaker 1: posta every time. You can't have power. You can't have
- 12:07Speaker 1: pizza every day. Pizza one of my favorite foods. You
- 12:10Speaker 1: can't have it all the time. You got to cut
- 12:12Speaker 1: it back. You can't have it every other day either.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You got to eat eighty twenty. You gotta eat eighty
- 12:19Speaker 1: percent clean, good foods and twenty percent what you want.
- 12:23Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you right now, eighty twenty is
- 12:25Speaker 1: not gonna lie you to lose much damn weight. It
- 12:28Speaker 1: just ain't. It's just gonna keep you from getting worse.
- 12:31Speaker 1: If you want to lose weight, I've actually found out
- 12:33Speaker 1: you're gonna have to eat ninety ten maybe ninety five. Ye,
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's really tell you the truth. And the older you get,
- 12:41Speaker 1: the most strick you got to get with this diet.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But you gotta make up your mind. Do you want
- 12:45Speaker 1: to live? Do you want to eat to live? Or
- 12:48Speaker 1: you want to just eat to your ass? Ain't here
- 12:50Speaker 1: no more diecision you want to die? Eat? You got

- 13:25Speaker 1: have mad that too, and it's not the same. I
- 13:31Speaker 1: haven't had broccoli rice. Why your hearts holding? Coming up?
- 13:38Speaker 1: At thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll we'll start
- 13:41Speaker 1: off the show. We'd run that prank back from the
- 13:42Speaker 1: nephew right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. Let's start a morning off now. Would run
- 13:49Speaker 1: that brank back from the nephew. Nephew, what you got
- 13:53Speaker 1: for us today? We want to end happy. This is
- 13:57Speaker 1: happy ending. That's right, that's right happy. You want to
- 14:02Speaker 1: don't worry, be happy happy? If you would, Hello, therapy
- 14:10Speaker 1: and to duty speaking. How may I help you? Yeah,
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm trying to come in and get some some therapy done.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I was in an accident at my job. You know,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I got injured like a week and a half ago.
- 14:20Speaker 1: I ain't been able to go back to work for
- 14:22Speaker 1: my back and my leg. They say, you know, I
- 14:25Speaker 1: haven't broke any bones in none, but it's you know,
- 14:26Speaker 1: it's real. So real stealth, hard to get out of bed,
- 14:30Speaker 1: So I wanted to see you know what it takes
- 14:32Speaker 1: um to get a therapist and get start getting some
- 14:35Speaker 1: type of treatment. Okay, well, sir, what we typically do
- 14:38Speaker 1: is we ask for our patients to come in, you know,
- 14:41Speaker 1: check out our facility and so we can also accept you, um,
- 14:45Speaker 1: you know, see where the damage is the majority of it,
- 14:47Speaker 1: and you know, then get you to a therapist. So
- 14:49Speaker 1: if you would like to come in, we can definitely
- 14:51Speaker 1: do that for you. Okay. Do you know what the
- 14:53Speaker 1: therapists actually do when they do in the treatment? Well,
- 14:56Speaker 1: if you come in, sir, we can definitely direct you
- 14:59Speaker 1: to any of our three therapists that we have on
- 15:01Speaker 1: site right now, but each one specializes in a particular
- 15:06Speaker 1: um field. So it's more beneficial for you if you
- 15:09Speaker 1: come in and then we can assess you and then
- 15:11Speaker 1: direct you to that particular therapist. Okay, Okay, So you said,
- 15:15Speaker 1: how many of y'all do y'all have? We have three.
- 15:17Speaker 1: There's Marty, Brenda and Cecilia here. Okay. The person that
- 15:22Speaker 1: referred me to y'all told me that Cecilia was the
- 15:25Speaker 1: one that that had worked on Is it a way
- 15:27Speaker 1: I could talk to Cecilia. Typically, we normally ask our
- 15:31Speaker 1: patience to come in then let me see if she's
- 15:33Speaker 1: available right now. I know earlier she was was a patient,
- 15:36Speaker 1: so let me just check really quick. I mean, if
- 15:38Speaker 1: she is available, then I can I can transfer you. Okay, okay, okay,
- 15:42Speaker 1: I'll just hold on, Okay, hold on, Hi. This is Cecilia. Yeah,
- 15:48Speaker 1: Miss Cecilia, trying to come up there and get some
- 15:51Speaker 1: therapy done. I heard my back and my leg at work.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I mean they already told me was nothing broken, nothing,
- 15:56Speaker 1: But I wanted to see what exactly do y'all do
- 15:59Speaker 1: is for physical therapy? You know, what exactly will I
- 16:02Speaker 1: be doing? Well? When you come in, We'll do a
- 16:05Speaker 1: consultation and you know, will missage you and take X
- 16:10Speaker 1: rays and put you in a whirlpool tub and there
- 16:14Speaker 1: are several different things that we can do for you. Okay,
- 16:17Speaker 1: is it a certain timeline? I mean, like, how long
- 16:20Speaker 1: would it take before I can get back to work,
- 16:22Speaker 1: because you know, I've been awful about a week nine.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I'm trying to get back within the next couple of weeks.
- 16:26Speaker 1: But it's taken me, like, you know, at least thirty
- 16:29Speaker 1: minutes to get out of bed because of my back
- 16:31Speaker 1: in my leg. Oh wow, well you need to come
- 16:34Speaker 1: in as soon as possible because that's something like that's
- 16:36Speaker 1: pretty bad. Okay, well let me ask you this hill.
- 16:39Speaker 1: After people get through doing the therapy, do y'all have
- 16:44Speaker 1: happy endings? Happy endings? What do you mean by happy endings?
- 16:48Speaker 1: Happy end is like, you know, when therapy is over with,
- 16:50Speaker 1: you know, do would you yourself, you know, would you
- 16:53Speaker 1: do happy endings at the end? Okay, I'm still i
- 16:56Speaker 1: understanding what do you mean by happy endings? What are
- 16:59Speaker 1: you talking? Okay, say like if I come over then
- 17:01Speaker 1: and go through a session or whatever for about an hour,
- 17:05Speaker 1: when we get through, you know, when you kind of like,
- 17:07Speaker 1: you know, close the door and and you know, do
- 17:10Speaker 1: happy endings, you know, and make me feel good. Okay, um,
- 17:16Speaker 1: close the door. I'm still not quite understanding what you
- 17:21Speaker 1: mean by happy ending sir. Okay, what I'm trying to
- 17:24Speaker 1: say is like, when we get through with the procedure, uh,
- 17:27Speaker 1: you know, make me feel good in a in a
- 17:29Speaker 1: nice uh you know, sexual way. You know, happy endings.
- 17:34Speaker 1: When Judy sent you back to me, what are we
- 17:38Speaker 1: talking about with this happy ending thing? Because I don't.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I don't. I didn't asking about the happy endings that
- 17:42Speaker 1: that right there was just gonna be between me and you.
- 17:44Speaker 1: We'll see. I don't. I don't plan it. I don't know.
- 17:47Speaker 1: This is a place of business. We're professional here. We
- 17:50Speaker 1: do therapy for people who are seriously being hurt. This
- 17:55Speaker 1: is not the nearest far we're talking about happy ending
- 18:00Speaker 1: after we finished with that. What's not a place do
- 18:02Speaker 1: you think this is? Well? I mean, I know it's
- 18:04Speaker 1: I know it's therapy, But I mean, if people going
- 18:07Speaker 1: through that much pain at least have some type of
- 18:09Speaker 1: happy endings, don't you think Well, I think you might
- 18:12Speaker 1: suggest your significant other. Okay, so you wouldn't be up
- 18:16Speaker 1: for doing a happy ending for hell? No, I ain't
- 18:19Speaker 1: interested in that. Man. What kind of this you call
- 18:23Speaker 1: about talking about? You heard? Hell? If you heard, you
- 18:25Speaker 1: shouldn't be even talking about fending. You're talking about it? Okay?
- 18:29Speaker 1: Hold I mean you're not talking to me professionally. Well,
- 18:32Speaker 1: you coming at me with this happy ending ain't professionally
- 18:35Speaker 1: at all either. What kind of place you ain't? We're
- 18:37Speaker 1: running over here? Okay? Hold on, I was referred to you.
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm thinking, you know the guy telling me. You know
- 18:44Speaker 1: you're gonna take kevimy what God told you like this?
- 18:47Speaker 1: I'm sorry, God, I told you something like this. Look,
- 18:50Speaker 1: let you know what. That's not even going there because
- 18:52Speaker 1: I don't even want to bring him any this. Can
- 18:54Speaker 1: you satisfy me? Out the east there? I'm gonna tip
- 18:57Speaker 1: you a little bit too, man. Have you lost your
- 19:02Speaker 1: everlasting marble mind? Are you gone crazy? Julie? Julie? Who
- 19:08Speaker 1: in the hell is this on the phone that you
- 19:10Speaker 1: didn't sit through me thinking this is an happy ending place?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Who is this, missus Cillian? She don't she don't know
- 19:17Speaker 1: nothing about the happy ending part. It don't matter you
- 19:20Speaker 1: You you're the receptionist. You know what? You on the
- 19:23Speaker 1: borderline losing your job because this is hello, hello, missus Cilia.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Can I just tell you who who referred me? Who? Who?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Who told you that I have happy endies for anybody?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Because person I have happy endies for it is my husband?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Who Who is it, missus Cilia? Nephew Timmy from the
- 19:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show? Your girlfriend Caaren got me the
- 19:48Speaker 1: prank phone? Call you y'all, y'all in here getting me rid.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I'm about to find a depitionist I got folks in
- 19:57Speaker 1: the libbists look back out of call me on my job.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I'm a kid caught make no sense, missus cilious. He

- 41:39Speaker 1: could stay inside the marriage and be faithful, then she
- 41:42Speaker 1: should have got a divorce. That's the only option. I mean,
- 41:46Speaker 1: there's no such thing as a guy coming around the
- 41:48Speaker 1: house and taking care of things while you're going or whatever.
- 41:52Speaker 1: What if the situation would have been turned around, But
- 41:56Speaker 1: look at it and be a man about the situation.

- 42:06Speaker 1: thank you. Okay, Yeah, I agree with how he ended it.
- 42:09Speaker 1: I was struggling in the beginning. I mean, ideally, you
- 42:13Speaker 1: would love for it to be you know, death do
- 42:16Speaker 1: us part and all this here for better off of
- 42:19Speaker 1: works going twenty years state twenty years? The reality is,
- 42:23Speaker 1: but see me, and if we do something that puts
- 42:26Speaker 1: ourselves in a situation, that puts her in a situation.
- 42:31Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure when they said the vils, they wasn't
- 42:33Speaker 1: saying you was gonna be in prison. That wasn't nobody
- 42:39Speaker 1: signs up for that. They don't say prison, do us part?
- 42:43Speaker 1: They don't say that. Yeah, so it kind of puts
- 42:47Speaker 1: a woman in a bad position. But I did like
- 42:49Speaker 1: the way he ended it. It ain't happening for you, bro,
- 42:52Speaker 1: Gone about your business. Go ahead, Shirley. Here's a call
- 42:55Speaker 1: about prink phone call. Good morning, y'all people on the
- 42:58Speaker 1: morning show. Man, look up, y'all need to stop doing
- 43:01Speaker 1: the prank phone calls while people out there driving and
- 43:04Speaker 1: it's bad weather. Man, folks on the last and lose
- 43:07Speaker 1: control of the wheel, hitting breaks and slides and stuff. Man, Hey, yeah,
- 43:11Speaker 1: y'all wrong for that. Yeah, y'all wrong. Keep it going, man, Love,
- 43:14Speaker 1: you got to make up your mind getting breaks and sliding,
- 43:21Speaker 1: And thank you brother, We're gonna keep your sliding every morning.
- 43:29Speaker 1: Just be careful, keep your foot on that break, all right? Well,
- 43:33Speaker 1: thank you guys for you and you're sliding in the snow.
- 43:36Speaker 1: You have to take your foot off the break. Oh okay,
- 43:40Speaker 1: you don't driving the snow? Quick telling people keep their
- 43:42Speaker 1: foot on the damn break. Why don't y'all didn't know
- 43:45Speaker 1: how to? I know, we'll quit telling people how to
- 43:47Speaker 1: driving snow for you kill or some like why are
- 43:49Speaker 1: you cleanling people set up at this? Well, what's y'all
- 43:52Speaker 1: soo touch? You shouldn't learn how to drive for your left?
- 43:57Speaker 1: Coming up the nephew in the prank phone call all
- 44:00Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:07Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, the
- 44:11Speaker 1: subject my boss wants to whip me. Oh uh, we
- 44:15Speaker 1: don't know what that means. Oh you know what it means.
- 44:18Speaker 1: You don't wear what it means. And none of us
- 44:21Speaker 1: wrote this, Steve, none of us My boss wants to
- 44:24Speaker 1: whip me. We'll get into that in just a bit,
- 44:27Speaker 1: but right now the nephew is here with today's frank
- 44:30Speaker 1: phone call. What you got for us, nef, Well, you
- 44:34Speaker 1: know when you don't pay your bills, things get repossessed.
- 44:38Speaker 1: We've had it happened to us. Well, we're gonna take
- 44:40Speaker 1: it to the church this time. Repoll the pew, repoll. Hey, Hey,
- 44:46Speaker 1: if you ain't paid up, call we gotta come. Maybe
- 44:50Speaker 1: you gonna have to stand repoll cat dog if you would.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I'm trying to retail u. Pastor. Pastor Wilkins. Yeah, this
- 45:02Speaker 1: is the reverend doctor Wilkins. Are you the you're the
- 45:05Speaker 1: pastor of Baptist Church? Am right? MAASTI church? That's correct.
- 45:10Speaker 1: How can I help you? Okay, listen, my name is
- 45:12Speaker 1: Daniel and I'm calling from RCS, which is a church supply,
- 45:18Speaker 1: and we have an outstanding bill here that we wanted
- 45:20Speaker 1: to bring to you all's attention for like twenty three
- 45:23Speaker 1: thousand dollars for your pews that has not been paid,
- 45:27Speaker 1: so we wanted to see not to cut you off. Yeah, yeah, Daniel, RCS, Yeah,
- 45:36Speaker 1: church supply, sir. That's h this is actually where you
- 45:38Speaker 1: guys got your pus. Okay, outstanding bill for twenty three thousand. Well,
- 45:43Speaker 1: first of all, best normally, uh, all our standing bills
- 45:48Speaker 1: are handled by our finance department. You know, you wouldn't
- 45:51Speaker 1: need to speak to our treasurer and they will be
- 45:52Speaker 1: able to help you with that, sir, that this hasn't
- 45:55Speaker 1: been taken care of, and this matter when it comes
- 45:58Speaker 1: to these pews, because like I stated before, you guys
- 46:00Speaker 1: old twenty three thousand dollars on these cues and I
- 46:03Speaker 1: think this was probably twelve or thirteen years ago, so
- 46:06Speaker 1: maybe this was something before you got there, but nevertheless,
- 46:09Speaker 1: there's still an outstanding building right now. We're actually going
- 46:12Speaker 1: to be repossessing these cues as of early seven o'clock
- 46:17Speaker 1: Sunday morning, not far this Sunday morning, though. We have
- 46:22Speaker 1: the Women's Days Missionary just here today, and I also
- 46:25Speaker 1: fund it. We have like our kid man, you have
- 46:30Speaker 1: a lot of things, and you actually running off your schedule.
- 46:32Speaker 1: To me, that's that's really not my concern. And maybe
- 46:35Speaker 1: your Women's Day or whatever it is gonna get y'all
- 46:37Speaker 1: gonna do a standing up because right now we're not
- 46:40Speaker 1: going to do it. You're understanding me. See um, did
- 46:43Speaker 1: you say twelve or thirteen years ago? Yes, sir, well,
- 46:45Speaker 1: I've been the past here for ten years and you know,
- 46:47Speaker 1: you know occurred before you got there. But nevertheless, the
- 46:54Speaker 1: bill is still outstanding and these cues need to be
- 46:57Speaker 1: taken care of now. If y'all don't have the twenty
- 46:59Speaker 1: three thousan dollars, then I got to come pick these
- 47:02Speaker 1: pews up Sunday morning. Sir. We gotta over there. You're
- 47:06Speaker 1: not hearing me. And first of all, this is my
- 47:07Speaker 1: private number. How did you get this number? You're your
- 47:10Speaker 1: numbers here in the books as a contact. No, this
- 47:13Speaker 1: is this is only only get this out to very
- 47:15Speaker 1: few people, and I know none of them would would
- 47:17Speaker 1: give our number. So that's definitue right there. And a
- 47:20Speaker 1: second of all, if you're talking about coming in our
- 47:22Speaker 1: church Sign the morning to take our pews, uh, that's
- 47:25Speaker 1: not something you really want to do, sir. I have
- 47:28Speaker 1: to do my job the same way you get up
- 47:30Speaker 1: on Sunday morning and you have to do yours. I
- 47:32Speaker 1: have to do mine. So my job is to get
- 47:35Speaker 1: these fews back because you guys are twenty three thousand
- 47:37Speaker 1: dollars in the rears, nou kyling and tell you I
- 47:40Speaker 1: ain't always been been a treaty. Now you come in
- 47:43Speaker 1: my church and you test them cues, I'm gonna come
- 47:45Speaker 1: out that proof it aren't you. I'm not. I'm not
- 47:48Speaker 1: here to go to what you used to be and
- 47:51Speaker 1: what you want now. I'm nothing to go back and
- 47:53Speaker 1: forth with you on that. The bottom line consequences you
- 47:56Speaker 1: don't want to deal with Sign because you know I said,
- 48:00Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, hold on, let me calm down,
- 48:02Speaker 1: because you know you're about to make me say some
- 48:04Speaker 1: words that I've been delivered from Thank God, I'm gonna
- 48:08Speaker 1: deliver them pews away from you on Sunday. Now, I
- 48:11Speaker 1: got to come and pick them pews up. That's the
- 48:13Speaker 1: bottom line. Do you have twenty three thousand Sunday morning?
- 48:17Speaker 1: Twenty three thousand? Understand, that's not the issue. The issue
- 48:20Speaker 1: is you have no business calling me on my personal phone.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm in my meditation time right now, trying to get
- 48:26Speaker 1: consecrated for you know, my message that as to deliver
- 48:29Speaker 1: later this afternoon, so we need all of our pumers. Okay,
- 48:32Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Do you have the twenty
- 48:35Speaker 1: three thousand dollars that you can give me Sunday morning
- 48:38Speaker 1: and then you can continue whatever it is you have
- 48:40Speaker 1: going on that day. Other than that, I'm gonna have
- 48:43Speaker 1: to take them culls. I define told me the twenty doolums.
- 48:46Speaker 1: If you are listening, Fron, that ain't my bill. I
- 48:49Speaker 1: ain't paying it, you ain't touching my watch. I'm not
- 48:53Speaker 1: gonna continue to go. Okay, listen, I'm trying to respect
- 48:57Speaker 1: what's what's past. Will trying to respect you first remend,
- 49:00Speaker 1: doctor Wilkins. I'd appreciate that you called me in my name,
- 49:04Speaker 1: Reverend doctor Wilkins. Okay, Reverend doctor Wilkins. Now, first of all,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm crumbing up there Sunday. Now, I'm hoping I only
- 49:12Speaker 1: have to lay hands on these queues now, but I
- 49:15Speaker 1: gotta lay hands on something else. Then I gotta do
- 49:17Speaker 1: what I got to say. You can come on up here,
- 49:20Speaker 1: and you said it on the property, that's cool, but
- 49:22Speaker 1: you touch them pulls. I got some lawyers in here.
- 49:25Speaker 1: They can take that Jesus coat off, they can stay
- 49:27Speaker 1: it down. They can get with you, partner. I'm standing yeah,
- 49:30Speaker 1: and you know what the jaydo. I walked through the
- 49:33Speaker 1: valley shadow the desk. I will see no evil. I
- 49:36Speaker 1: ain't got no problems. Wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 49:38Speaker 1: wait wait wait wait, you're talking about coming to me
- 49:41Speaker 1: and answer my church because police, I'm gonna do what
- 49:44Speaker 1: I got to do. Man, Then I'm gonna dog I
- 49:47Speaker 1: got to do in the namer Jesus, they man, the man,
- 49:52Speaker 1: stand up the whole service. Now, what which one do
- 49:55Speaker 1: you want? We can handle it however you want to
- 49:57Speaker 1: handle it. I got I got something else I want
- 49:59Speaker 1: to tell you. You list into me. You ain't saying
- 50:01Speaker 1: nothing inside you listening what you got to say to me?
- 50:05Speaker 1: I got to say this to you. His nephew taught
- 50:08Speaker 1: me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got

- 51:10Speaker 1: Really appreciate that. Man, he really will. That's Reverend doctor Wilkins.
- 51:15Speaker 1: Now you're gonna get this right by my name now, okay,
- 51:17Speaker 1: put some back on my name. That was one of
- 51:21Speaker 1: my favorite dudes. That was my dude right there. I
- 51:26Speaker 1: don't know how he held it together that long. I can't,
- 51:31Speaker 1: but you know, my favorite party said, now, looking man,
- 51:34Speaker 1: when you come up in here, I got some people

- 53:53Speaker 1: wants to whip me Again. A disclaimer if you have
- 53:57Speaker 1: young children anywhere around you who do not want them
- 54:00Speaker 1: to hear this letter, Okay, Dear Stephen Shirley. It says
- 54:04Speaker 1: I'm a thirty one year old, single black man, and
- 54:07Speaker 1: about two months ago I was not ready to settle
- 54:10Speaker 1: down yet, so I was mingling and dating. After countless
- 54:14Speaker 1: failures with meeting women, I finally came across a much
- 54:18Speaker 1: older woman who was on the same page that I
- 54:21Speaker 1: was on. She only wanted sex and that's it. She
- 54:24Speaker 1: invited me to her house one evening, and from the
- 54:27Speaker 1: moment I got there, it started getting heated. We were
- 54:30Speaker 1: kissing and grinding on her sofa, and as it was
- 54:34Speaker 1: about to go down, she left me on the sofa
- 54:37Speaker 1: and went upstairs to her room, and she told me
- 54:40Speaker 1: to give her ten minutes. So I undressed and went upstairs,
- 54:44Speaker 1: and it was pitch black. She told me where to go,
- 54:48Speaker 1: and I followed her voice into a room where all
- 54:51Speaker 1: I heard was jingling keys and metal clinging, and something
- 54:55Speaker 1: that sounded like a towel was hitting a mattress. The
- 54:59Speaker 1: noise stopped suddenly, and she said, I got something for you, baby,
- 55:04Speaker 1: and the lights came on. There were four adult toys
- 55:08Speaker 1: of different shapes and sizes, and she was wearing a
- 55:11Speaker 1: dog collar with a lot of gold chains hanging from it.
- 55:16Speaker 1: I looked over in the corner and there was a
- 55:18Speaker 1: huge dog cage on a platform. She took off her
- 55:23Speaker 1: lunch aray and I stood there in disbelief. I asked
- 55:30Speaker 1: where the dog was because I don't like dogs. She
- 55:34Speaker 1: pulled out a belt and told me to get in
- 55:36Speaker 1: the cage while she whipped me several times on my
- 55:40Speaker 1: bear behind. I turned and ran so fast that I
- 55:44Speaker 1: almost fell down the stairs in the dark. I ended
- 55:48Speaker 1: up leaving my hat and my shirt, but I left
- 55:51Speaker 1: with my dignity. Did you now what I failed to do?
- 55:56Speaker 1: What I failed to mention is that she's my direct
- 55:59Speaker 1: supervisee and she's very unhappy with how I left. She's
- 56:03Speaker 1: giving me major attitude because she wants a do over.
- 56:08Speaker 1: I really need my job, So how do I fix
- 56:11Speaker 1: this without getting whipped? What what it's going with you
- 56:21Speaker 1: with your boss? You conveniently left out the fact that
- 56:27Speaker 1: this woman was your boss. You conveniently left that out
- 56:31Speaker 1: until the very last part of the letter. And that's
- 56:35Speaker 1: because you probably knew we were going to tell you
- 56:37Speaker 1: this was a very stupid move on your part. Um.
- 56:40Speaker 1: But I do have to tell you this. I'm glad
- 56:42Speaker 1: you got out. I'm glad you survived it, even though
- 56:45Speaker 1: you almost fell down the stairs. In the pitch black. Um,
- 56:49Speaker 1: you said you guys talked about this beforehand, and she
- 56:52Speaker 1: was you guys were on the same page. I don't
- 56:54Speaker 1: think so. I don't think you're on the same page
- 56:57Speaker 1: at all. Um. You you gotta get out of there,
- 57:01Speaker 1: even you're gonna have to transfer to a different department
- 57:04Speaker 1: or you're gonna have to get another job somewhere else.
- 57:07Speaker 1: You should be an interviewing and doing all that you
- 57:09Speaker 1: can do to make that happen right now. And no
- 57:12Speaker 1: matter how bad her attitude is, she is your boss,
- 57:15Speaker 1: and you said she's giving you major attitude. Whatever you do,
- 57:19Speaker 1: there are no do overs. Do not go back to
- 57:22Speaker 1: that lady's house. Okay, next time she might tell you
- 57:25Speaker 1: to get in the cage, lock you up with those
- 57:27Speaker 1: jingling keys you heard in the dark. Her kind of
- 57:31Speaker 1: freakiness is a little different, and you could really get
- 57:35Speaker 1: hurt with all the whipping and stuff. And this is
- 57:37Speaker 1: just too crazy. Stay away from her, do your job
- 57:40Speaker 1: until you leave, and then when you get out of there,
- 57:42Speaker 1: don't look back. But please get out and get out now. Steve,
- 57:47Speaker 1: this is one of those letters where I'm gonna use
- 57:51Speaker 1: as a teaching moment. A lot of young brothers listening
- 57:58Speaker 1: to this show, Uncle Steve, It's gonna walk you through
- 58:03Speaker 1: some things that you need to know when faced with
- 58:08Speaker 1: anything similar to this. Let's go now. He starts off
- 58:12Speaker 1: by telling us who he is. He's a thirty one
- 58:14Speaker 1: year old single black man, and he said, very confusingly,
- 58:20Speaker 1: about two months ago, I was not ready to settle
- 58:23Speaker 1: down yet. I don't know where that came from, because
- 58:27Speaker 1: this whole letter has nothing about you wanting a commitment
- 58:30Speaker 1: of any kind. So you just telling us a story.
- 58:34Speaker 1: You're thirty one years old and you single, ready to mingle.
- 58:37Speaker 1: That's what you should have said. So I was mingling
- 58:39Speaker 1: and Dayton, that's all you had to say. Though, after
- 58:42Speaker 1: countless failures with meeting women, no they weren't. They weren't
- 58:47Speaker 1: countless failures. You're not looking for a commitment, so anytime
- 58:52Speaker 1: relations fail, it's what you weren't committed to anyway. After
- 58:59Speaker 1: countless failed you didn't want no successes. It was just
- 59:04Speaker 1: dating in England, so let's just stay honest. Brother. I
- 59:08Speaker 1: finally came across a much older woman who was on
- 59:11Speaker 1: the same page that I was on. She only wanted
- 59:16Speaker 1: sex and that's it. She invited me to her house
- 59:19Speaker 1: one even and from the moment I got there, it
- 59:23Speaker 1: started getting heated. I was kissing and grinding on the sofa.
- 59:27Speaker 1: It was about to go down. She left me on
- 59:30Speaker 1: the sofa. Here's the key. She left me on the
- 59:33Speaker 1: sofa and went up stairs to her room, and she
- 59:37Speaker 1: told me to give her ten minutes. But now your
- 59:41Speaker 1: ass didn't listen, your stupid ass. Right after that said so,
- 59:49Speaker 1: I undressed and went up stairs, and it was pitched,
- 59:54Speaker 1: black boy, you got neked too early. All right, hold
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: that thought right there, right there. We've all done it. No, Tommy,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I know it. Two of your response coming up Steve
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Subject my boss wants to whip me. We'll be back
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Steve.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Let's recap this letter. The subject is please There is
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: a disclaimer with this letter if you have small children.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: My boss wants to whip me. Study one year old
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: young man. It's very confused about what he wants and
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: what he's expecting out of the results from what he's
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: actually doing. He's dating and mingling around. He's serious. He
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I don't want to settle down. So now he's saying,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: after he's been meeting women dating and all fail you
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: after failure, because you don't want nothing, And it just
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: proves that you don't won't nothing, because you said right
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: after this, after countless failures in eating women, I finally
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: came across a much older woman who was on the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: same page, and I was on she only wanted sex
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: and that's it. See, boy, You've been wanting to get
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: in relationships that women that only want sex and that's it,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and then when it don't work out, you consider that
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: a failure. Everybody don't want to sign up for this foolishness.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Oh but you to find this old as lady though,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: ain't got no problem with it. So you meet her,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: y'all on the same page, invite you to a house.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Soon as you got there, you grinding on the couch.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: It's hot, heating it then't got good boy. She left
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you on the sofa, went upstairs to her room and
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: told you to give her ten minutes. Yo, jumping as
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: can't wait ten minutes? Why cause you young? After she
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: said give her two minutes, your reaction was so I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: undressed and when up stairs, and it was pitch black.
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: What is your ass up? Your fault? She said, ten
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: minutes you up down two damn early and your naked
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: and took your clothes off two damn fans and the
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: one up stairs and left your clothes downstairs. How stupid
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: is your ass? Don't ever have your clothes software you
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: can't reach them. That's the left ruled. There's so many
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: lessons in this letter. Then I am dressing with I'm
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: saying it was pitch black. It's because you two damn early,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: she said. Ten minutes. She ain't set up yet. She
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: told me where to go, and I followed her voice
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: into a room right here. Never be niked. End the
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: dumb following voices. Stupid. I'm following the voice into a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: room where all I heard was jingling keys and metal
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: clinging and something that sounds like a towel hidding the mattress.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: What And you kept walking towards the jingling and the
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: towel hidding the mattress, and your ass naked and ca'se see,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: don't understand how stupid you are. The noises stopped suddenly,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: and she said, I got something for your baby, And
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: then the lights came on That was four adult towards
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: of different shapes and sizes, and she was wearing a
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: dog collar with a lot of gold chains hanging from it.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I looked over in the corner. That was a huge
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: dog cage on the platform. See, I would have missed
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: all this because I'm old, first of all, all our
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: all she heard was for me to don't stand you
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: read it been boy twelve minutes. Now what you're doing.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: But all this because of the unknown. I have my
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: damn clothes off just in case she says something crazy
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: from upstairs. I can get on out the house downstairs
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: and never speak to her ass again. But now you
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: ask nicking up stad sees Na. She cut the light on.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: You look over in the corner. It's a huge dog
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: cage on the platform on the platform. Heny dog can't
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: do the platform. She took off her lingerie and I
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: still there in disbelief, probably cause you necking, know yo, nick,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I asked where the dog was because I don't like dogs.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Right there, your black ass upstairs with the potential Germany
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: chef for somewhere raw. So now you in the cage,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: you're looking over there at the cage. You don't like dogs?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Potential German shepherd rot Wilder could be in the rooms,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: but now you can. And now you in that ass naked.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Not a reason this ain't working out for you food
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: because your ass is naked. See getting whimped and asked
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: to get in the cage is different when you fully closed.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: But now you naked and your clothes it downstairs. And
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: the reason she can whoop you cross your ass, it's
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: caused you nick it's out. I turned and ran so fast,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: almost fell down the steps in the dark because you're
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: slipping on them coffee cause your clothes is downstairs. I
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: ended up leaving my hat and shirt cause you couldn't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: find them, cause you got to keep your clothes where
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you can see him in Rachel. Now you have left
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: your cat, You left your hat and your damn shirt.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: All that's DNA. No dumb ass could be in a
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: crime scene. You're on forty eight hours and don't even
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: know it because you have left you in the closed downstairs.
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: I'm about to get Brady will now come to find
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: out this your boss she want to do over now
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: she got the attitude. When I come back, I'm just
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: gonna give you ten seconds of what your solution is
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: for this stupid ass upstairs naked. Anybody told you to
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: come up there yet this is we'll be back. Well
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: he is an employee. Is what's this? You're listening Steve
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, see right before we get
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: to sports talk, you had a couple of more let
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: me just clothes off. This man had been upstairs naked,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: would found out who was his boss, and she was
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: whipping him while he was neked toned with getting this
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: big dog cage. And now he back at working. The
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: boss got an attitude because she wants to du over.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: He really needs his job and he knows how to.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: He don't know how to handle the situation. So now
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: let me explain something to young boy. You're gonna have
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: to give her a due over. Keep your job, y'all.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Shut up, You shut up, Sirley, You answered your letter.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: He thirty one, He can have the list go back
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: in the door. No, he don't go back in there.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: He got to get a duke over. He got to
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: control this situation. The due over is at a hotel.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: Can't bring all a dog cages through that lobby, all
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: these platforms and stuff. You're gonna get your dude over
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: is at the hotel and tell her you bringing your
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: own trump of toys and they're gonna be the four
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: dog toys of different sizes, because you're gonna end up
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: wearing something if you ain't killed. Now coming there with
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: some with a velvet rope, some fuzzy hands and cuff
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: that don't click, a feather tickler that don't do no damage,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: can't push nothing. See, you gotta gotta have your little
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: sex toys. Had to have control on him and can't
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: have nothing here with a battery on him because that
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: because that hair switches with levels on it, you gotta
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: get out of control. Anything on high, it's gonna be
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: shocking to your end. Can't let nothing have a switch
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: on it that can go to high high high is dangerous. Okay,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: that's all I want. Yes, calling question what if on
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: this dude over she doesn't like it because she's still
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: his supervisor. Well you just didn't like it. I ain't
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I ain't who you thought I was. Well you have
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: seen me run out of this house. You already know
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I ain't up to who you thought I was. I'm
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: scared of dogs. You got a dog cage that we're
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: gonna have a duo. But I got a hotel and
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: I have everything in there. Now you're coming there. You
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: have attitude, sex, that's all right, Ain't this ain't what
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: I wanted? Well, you know this, this all I got
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: because this just one time. We do this due over,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: then that's it. If you do it and you don't
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: do it, well, she ain't gonna want to have nothing
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: else to do with you. But at least you'll keep
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: your job fame. It's hard to make naked decisions, though.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: It's hard. Left with his dignity, nothing with a battery
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: and a switch and get out of hand, no medium,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: and it's high when you get caught on right after this,
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: you're listening show. While the the US has already imposed
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: official sanctions against Russia, some states are taking it upon
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: themselves to post economic pain following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Many states have banned the sale of Russian vodka. Virginia,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Ohio and New Hampshire, Texas and Pennsylvania leaders are asking
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: bars and restaurants not to serve Russian made liquor, and
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: in more recent developments, according to the Black Information Network,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: African people are being turned away from the Ukraine, Poland
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: border or told to get to the back of the
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: line so that quote unquote real Ukrainians can escape first.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: One woman tweeted, women of color, some with babies in
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: their arms, cannot take the same trains at the same
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: time as Ukrainians, even if they belong to these priority
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: categories announced by Polish officers. We had to push the
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: African women onto the train, so they had no other
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: options but to let them in since they said women
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: and children first. One displaced person adding that when we
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: try to enter, police forces took them out, saying only
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: Ukrainians have the right to enter. There's racism everywhere. That's heavy,
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: it's it's it's it's par for the course. It's happening
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: around the world. Two things I can assure you about racism.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: They usually always involve a person who is non white
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: and involves a person who is white. Almost always. That's
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: not always the case, but when you hear of this
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: stuff on an international level, it almost always involves a
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: person who isn't white and a person who is white.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: It is something about some people who give them the
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: thought that because of the color of their skin, they
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: are superior. It is worldwide and because of your pigment,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: the dark scheme of your color, you are less relevant,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: less important, and less human. And they've been doing it
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: for a long, long long time and they ain't fitness
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: stop it. So welcome to the real world, and it's
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: happening in the United States on a daily basis. Now,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: are we supposed to feel as black people hearing about
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: the Ukrainians, you know, and the Russian invasion and all that,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: but then seeing them be racist to our people over there?
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: You'd understand the dilemma. See, But because of political correctness,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: all of us in media and all of us have
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: to say the correct things. But we are always expected
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: to be simple apathetic to everybody else's cause. The problem
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: is everybody ain't sympathetic to our cause. Ain't that about
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: a bill right against? We got to always be sympathetic
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: to everybody else's cause, but everybody ain't. Everybody don't have
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: to be sympathetic to our cause. So excuse me when
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I ain't all that jumpy jump about what you going through.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: When I know on the other side of that coin,
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: we still got to go through what we're going through, right,
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: And so sometimes we don't care, we care, we care
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: about what's going We care, but we got a bigger
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: issue though us. See, listen to me. When the airplane
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: instructions come on. In the event that the oxygen mask
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: come down from the ceiling, please place your mask on
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: first before helping a small child or someone else. You
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: know why, because if you don't get yourself together and
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: help yourself, you can't help nobody ebody else. Yeah, So
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: now what you want us to do? So excuse me
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: while I ten to me. Yeah, all right, listen. We'll
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Steve Harvey Nation. Listen up.

- 1:15:22Speaker 1: do our part, especially Dallas Central Texas. We're gonna say
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: one word governor race. Yeah Oorialbato Scobato in Texas in November,

- 1:15:43Speaker 1: doing our part, So please do your part. Please you registered?
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: You know, yeah, normally these elections aren't important. We normally
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: just vote in the general elections. But these primary elections
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: are extremely important. You are younger, keep keep going. Your
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: vote matters. Your vote matters again. Go to when we
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: all vote to register right now? Coming up at thirty
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, we'll switch geared to play
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: a little bit up. Would you rather? Right after this
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: time now for a round of would you rather? Would
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: you rather tell your partner you're having an affair? Or
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: would you rather your partner tell you that they're having
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: an affair? Big? Neither, And that's this way I ain't wrong. Yeah,
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: this is about your You're Wait a minute, you ain't wrong.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You the one wrong. So hey, it's on you. It's
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: on you. Now help me junior, Junior, let's go Junior.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: That's logic because I'm going with tome you wrong? So
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I could I get to cush you outfly you got
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: the power? Ain't ain't even got You're wrong. Would you
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: rather tell your partner you're having an affair or would
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: you rather them tell you they're having an affair? Time
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: go with A. You can't take that they're having an
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: affair because B B, I'm going to prison. I'm gonna
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: get my ass whipped and lose everything. And I'm getting
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: that twice already already. It ain't neither one of them
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: had a divorce before, and ain't either one of them
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: had to walk in and make that announcement before. I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: have I have experience at making that announcement. Steve gonna
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: go with a B. Final final answer is B is
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: two life sentences without parole. Yeah, so I ain't gonna
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: need to me all right. Would you rather live in
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: the back best house in the worst neighborhood or the
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: worst house in the best neighborhood. Yeah, I'm gonna take
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: the worst house in the best neighborhood. Yeah. Yeah, you
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: can feel how you want to feel about me. That's
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: the bottom of the rich. I'll take that. I believed
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: in the best house in the worst neighborhood. Nobody got sleep,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and nobody knew it until I went to other people's houses.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: I realized. I realized, Man, we got the best house
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: on the street. You could drive down the street, go
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: look at all the ragged ass I've already lived in
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: the best house in the ragged ass neighborhood. I've done that,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: and no one knew all. We could get to this
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: one quickly. Would you rather have a bell go off
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: every time you're turned on or have to say all
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: your thoughts out loud during sex? Don't go off every
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: time you're turned on or have have to say all
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: your thoughts out loud during sex. Yeah, you let that
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: bell go off of me? He even every time? No, no,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: hell no, I won't get no damn sleep. All right,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: say everything you think you're doing sex. That's what I do. Anyway,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: coming out forty nine minutes after the hour, it's our
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: last break of the day. We'll get Steve Harvey. Right,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: no system d you're listening to Harpy Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: this Tuesday. What a day? What a day? What a day?
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: Break dream boom boom boom boom boom boom boom, what
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: a day? What a day? For day dre, Hey, do
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: you all find yourself daydreaming all the time? That I
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: do it at night? Yeah? Do daydream at night? M
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: do it at night? Y'all see the confusion that is
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: his mind? All right? Let me let me go with
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: these closing remarks because I was thinking of something I
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: wanted to share with you all, and it's about this
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: thing that stops so many people. And I want to
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: offer you a way to look at this thing so
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: you don't allow it to continue to stop you. This
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: thing that I'm talking about, it's called failure. It's it's
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: such a stopper to so many people. So many people
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: get stopped because they experience a failure, because they internalize
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: it the wrong way. Folks, I'm gonna give you a
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: different way to look at failure so you don't allow
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: it to define you. So let me help you with
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: the first thing, Failure ain't a person. Failure is an event.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: Do you understand it? Failure ain't a person. Failure is
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: an event. How many times have you heard people describe
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: a person as a failure because of something that happened
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: to them or something that's going through. Look at him,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: he's an attic, He's nothing but a failure. Look at him,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: he came an an alcoholic, just ruined his life. He's
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: a failure. Look at that girl over there. I told
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: her she was too fast, then set up there and
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: had that baby and they ain't got no man, just
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: then ruined her life. Now she can't go do this
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: and she can't do Excuse me what? Look at him?
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: Just set up there and flunked out of school. You
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: have failed. You are failure because you flunked out of school.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: You're a failure because you got a divorce. You're a
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: failure because you've lost everything. You're a failure because you're homeless.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: You're a failure because you didn't pass math, science, English, geography.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: You're a failure. Excuse me. Failure is not a person.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: Failure is an event. It's an eventu'all stop drinking this
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: stuff and stop listening to people who are making you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: think your failure is defining you as a person. Failure
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: is not a person. Failure is an event. And if
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: you take the word event and break it down, the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: word event is the root word of a word, a
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: word called eventually. What event is the root word of
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: a bigger word called eventually. Because this is how God works.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: He takes all your failures, wraps him up, puts him
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: in a box, put a bow on it, and eventually
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: turns all those things into person he intended you to be. Eventually,
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: all of these failures are going to become the makeup
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: of the person that you are. You better get this now,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: You better understand this and quitting letting these events, these
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: things call failures, determine you as a person. Failure ain't
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: a person. Failure is an event. We all have these events.
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Life is full of them, these events. Man, do you
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: know you're gonna lose somebody you care about deeply? That's
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: gonna cause you to go into some things that grief
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: causes that ain't who you are. That's the event that
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: you went through. That event will turn into eventually what
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: God has for you. Because everything you're going through is
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: God preparing you for what he has for you. You
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: need to get this man so you can quit tripping
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: every time you have a failure, which ain't nothing but
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: an event. This tool shall pass. Name one thing ain't passed. Man.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: Y'all better getting me today because I'm trying to give
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: it to you. Failure ain't a person. Failure is an event.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Everybody have them. Quit drinking them, letting them define who
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: you are. You ain't no failure as a person. You
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: just having an event. I'm gonna stop now because next
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: thing I want to do has profanity in it. Those
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: are my clothes and remarks today. Well, time to stop.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Talk to God. He loved to hear from you. Because
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: you keep talking to me, I'm gonna say something. See
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: you tomorrow. For all Steve Harvey contests, no purchase necessary,
