- 2:05Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, Come on now, digny
- 2:09Speaker 2: or one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Thank God for it all the time. Too. Well, here
- 2:15Speaker 2: we go today. I want to share something with you
- 2:19Speaker 2: that will help you because it's helped me. You know.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I was.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Telling the story once that in this magazine called Rob Report,
- 2:31Speaker 2: that there was a statue I used to see for years.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I started buying Rob Report magazines years ago. So I
- 2:40Speaker 2: just wanted to see what affluent people did, you know,
- 2:43Speaker 2: just wanted to see what people with means did, what
- 2:47Speaker 2: type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 2: where they traveled to the Rob Report. It's just like
- 2:52Speaker 2: a it's like a big boy toy magazine. You can
- 2:56Speaker 2: see what cars is out. You know, I didn't have
- 2:58Speaker 2: money for none of it. Just I was dreaming, though,
- 3:01Speaker 2: you know, I just wanted to see. And there's a
- 3:05Speaker 2: statue inside this magazine of this man who was coming
- 3:11Speaker 2: out of this bronze rock. And he was completely bronzed,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and he was muscular, and you know, he didn't look
- 3:19Speaker 2: nothing like me, but he was a man coming up
- 3:21Speaker 2: out of a rock. And he had a huge hammer
- 3:23Speaker 2: and a chisel in his hand. And as his body
- 3:27Speaker 2: from the waist up was coming out of this huge
- 3:29Speaker 2: piece of stone, you could see where it was him
- 3:32Speaker 2: who had been chiseling in forming himself. So the name
- 3:36Speaker 2: of the statue was self made Man. And for years
- 3:40Speaker 2: man I said, Man, I'm gonna get a big house
- 3:42Speaker 2: one day, and I'm gonna put that statue in the
- 3:44Speaker 2: backyard in the corner. That's gonna be my little spot
- 3:47Speaker 2: where I go chill, because I'm a self made man. Well,
- 3:53Speaker 2: after years of working at becoming somebody and having reached
- 3:59Speaker 2: a degree of success, I would have nothing to do
- 4:05Speaker 2: with that statue. There's nothing about that statue that appeals
- 4:09Speaker 2: to me anymore, because on my journey and in my
- 4:13Speaker 2: quest to become what I thought would be this self
- 4:17Speaker 2: made man, where I could put this statue and had
- 4:20Speaker 2: this statue in the corner be kind of cold symbolizing it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I made it. I realized on my journey there's no
- 4:27Speaker 2: such thing as a self made man. That we all
- 4:30Speaker 2: need help, and that God places people in our paths
- 4:35Speaker 2: along the way that benefit us oftentimes. And it's the
- 4:40Speaker 2: most unlikely person often times, and it's the most unlikely
- 4:45Speaker 2: way that He presents these people in front of you.
- 4:47Speaker 2: It's crazy how he does it. Man. And so this
- 4:51Speaker 2: is a statue now that I look at and I go,
- 4:53Speaker 2: I see what the creator was saying. And that's cool,
- 4:56Speaker 2: but not for me, because I needed help. And I've
- 5:02Speaker 2: learned a lot of things like this along the way.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And the part I wanted to share with you all
- 5:08Speaker 2: about this is you've got to develop You've got to
- 5:13Speaker 2: develop a sense of purpose. You have to develop a
- 5:17Speaker 2: sense of purpose. That's different. See, your purpose is created
- 5:24Speaker 2: for you by God because when He created you as
- 5:29Speaker 2: an individual. From whatever to parents you may have, that's
- 5:33Speaker 2: not important here. When he created you, he had something
- 5:38Speaker 2: in mind for you, and it was a purpose. God
- 5:42Speaker 2: has not created a single soul to become a criminal.
- 5:46Speaker 2: God has never created a single soul to be a
- 5:48Speaker 2: drug dealer. This came about through some decisions we made
- 5:54Speaker 2: as sinners, and we stayed in that place. But see
- 5:59Speaker 2: what He created us us. He has a wonderful idea
- 6:02Speaker 2: for us. But God gives us human beings this thing
- 6:06Speaker 2: called choice, and we have the power to decide. So
- 6:09Speaker 2: you could decide if you're going to adhere to the
- 6:11Speaker 2: purpose that God created you and made you for, or
- 6:15Speaker 2: you can go ahead and make some choices on your own.
- 6:19Speaker 2: So like, if God wanted to give you a life
- 6:20Speaker 2: and give it to come to you and give you
- 6:22Speaker 2: life more abundantly, and that's his promise if you come
- 6:25Speaker 2: to him, if you choose him, then cool. But if
- 6:29Speaker 2: you say, well this ain't moving along fast enough, I'm
- 6:33Speaker 2: gonna get my own life of abundance, I'm gonna start slinging. Well,
- 6:36Speaker 2: guess what now, Tada, You've made a decision and seek
- 6:41Speaker 2: God's decisions and choices. The one thing I learned about them,
- 6:45Speaker 2: God's decisions, choices, his voice, It has no sin in it.
- 6:49Speaker 2: And it amazing how many people it came up to
- 6:51Speaker 2: you and said, the Lord wanted me to do this
- 6:53Speaker 2: to you, and I'm doing it. That God is punishing
- 6:55Speaker 2: you and I'm doing this to you because God gonna
- 6:58Speaker 2: see that you get your day. Who who is this person?
- 7:01Speaker 2: Who is this person that God all of a sudden
- 7:05Speaker 2: gave this authority and power to God didn't get at
- 7:07Speaker 2: the nobody, Man, nobody, this person only have the right
- 7:11Speaker 2: to hold you to your past, the right to make
- 7:14Speaker 2: you pay. So who makes them pay when they make mistakes?
- 7:18Speaker 2: Because they all make them. So when I say you
- 7:22Speaker 2: have to have a sense of you have to develop
- 7:24Speaker 2: a strong sense of purpose. That means you have to
- 7:27Speaker 2: strongly get in touch with your creator to find out
- 7:29Speaker 2: what the purpose you were created for. See it's two
- 7:33Speaker 2: things that I had to learn along the way. My
- 7:36Speaker 2: career was what I was paid for. My calling is
- 7:41Speaker 2: what I was made for. See two different things, folks.
- 7:46Speaker 2: It took me a long time to learn it. Some
- 7:48Speaker 2: people think that they calling is to be a performer. Well,
- 7:53Speaker 2: that's what you paid for, and a big part of
- 7:56Speaker 2: your life is your performance. It's tied directly to your gift.
- 8:00Speaker 2: But what you made for, though, what you made for
- 8:03Speaker 2: is to bring about some significant change in another human
- 8:07Speaker 2: beings lives because we are all linked together in this chain.
- 8:11Speaker 2: That's what you are here for. Everybody has a purpose
- 8:15Speaker 2: to do something wonderful, meaningful, or impactful for another person.
- 8:21Speaker 2: You think the God that invented the airplane was merely
- 8:24Speaker 2: inventing the airplane so he could fly. Now, his purpose
- 8:30Speaker 2: was to become an inventor, to come up with this
- 8:32Speaker 2: invention so he could fly and we all fly. See.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Sometimes God will make you successful so you can become successful,
- 8:40Speaker 2: so you can turn around to teach other people how
- 8:42Speaker 2: to become successful. God save people, so you can turn
- 8:46Speaker 2: around it tell other people how wonderful it is to
- 8:48Speaker 2: be saved. You see how this thing work. That's what
- 8:52Speaker 2: we have to do as people. And it's nothing that
- 8:55Speaker 2: we have to go and discover. We have to go
- 8:57Speaker 2: and develop it. But if you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:00Speaker 2: it's simply because here's it. If you haven't discovered your purpose,
- 9:05Speaker 2: it's simply because you have not contacted the creator and
- 9:11Speaker 2: maker of your soul to ask and find out why
- 9:17Speaker 2: you were created. It's as simple as that. If you
- 9:23Speaker 2: buy a toyota, there's an owner's manual on the inside
- 9:29Speaker 2: that will tell you everything you know how to best
- 9:32Speaker 2: operate your toyota, how to make it work, what to do.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They got a troubleshooting section. Your faith is the same
- 9:41Speaker 2: thing as an owner's manual in your car. Open up
- 9:45Speaker 2: that book, man, find out how to jumpstart your life,
- 9:49Speaker 2: how to troubleshoot it and get on with your life,
- 9:52Speaker 2: and find out your purpose and develop a strong sense
- 9:55Speaker 2: of purpose. All right, Okay, you're listening hard morning, ladies
- 10:02Speaker 2: and gentlemen. Listen to me. The voice you are listening to,
- 10:08Speaker 2: just don't even worry about that. You know who it
- 10:10Speaker 2: is names on the show. The important part is how
- 10:14Speaker 2: the name got on the show and how the voice
- 10:17Speaker 2: became as what it is today. It is because of
- 10:21Speaker 2: God's grace, mercy and favor that I am who I am.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Without God, I would be nothing. This is the new
- 10:29Speaker 2: realization that we're gonna come to. Okay, so I got everybody.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Everybody seems to be on the gratitude tip, right, Got
- 10:35Speaker 2: everybody doing that to defect your attitude a direct correlation
- 10:39Speaker 2: with you altitude? Got it? Without God? I would be nothing.
- 10:45Speaker 2: The possible man. Don't you know how good that is?
- 10:50Speaker 2: Without him, you be nothing, But with him all things
- 10:53Speaker 2: is possible. Boy, you better get on board. Steve Harren

- 12:57Speaker 2: her there. I don't care about it. You need to
- 12:59Speaker 2: go find out a little bit more about Larry right.
- 13:02Speaker 6: What Larry doing is coming by here today again?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Personally?
- 13:09Speaker 2: Well, what you may you may realize is I bet
- 13:12Speaker 2: Larry got the same problem it is out he worked
- 13:17Speaker 2: there and he don't understand he done had to swing
- 13:23Speaker 2: by his house so many times. His house is his
- 13:27Speaker 2: house on his route. I tell you it's all women
- 13:33Speaker 2: be shopping.
- 13:36Speaker 1: That Yeah, after the hour, still.
- 13:40Speaker 4: Here from the nephew.
- 13:41Speaker 1: If he runs that prank back right after this, you're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 4: Morning show, it's.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Time now to run that prank back with the nephew.
- 13:49Speaker 4: What you got new?
- 13:50Speaker 9: It's for Dallas, Texas. Right here, Shirley, this is David Man.
- 13:54Speaker 9: David Man.
- 13:56Speaker 10: Uh huh, how you doing?
- 14:01Speaker 1: This?
- 14:01Speaker 10: Is a nephew telling me, yes, ma'am, we're gonna prank
- 14:04Speaker 10: phone call your son David Man today. All right, Okay,
- 14:08Speaker 10: so here's what I want you to do for me.
- 14:10Speaker 10: I want you to call David and tell him, Hey,
- 14:13Speaker 10: them people came over here asking me by paying that
- 14:17Speaker 10: bill and I'm not paying that bill. And that man
- 14:19Speaker 10: got smart with me and I shut the door on him.
- 14:21Speaker 10: I told him to call you. Okay, when you get
- 14:24Speaker 10: through with him, I'm gonna call him back as if
- 14:27Speaker 10: I'm that man.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Okay, Okay, I'm picking to a ad on this.
- 14:33Speaker 10: That's what you call it, the ad. Okay, do the
- 14:36Speaker 10: ad on them.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Hold on, we'll figure out. I'll call you when we
- 14:40Speaker 3: get through.
- 14:41Speaker 10: All right, Okay, then sorry, you did good, though, he'll
- 14:49Speaker 10: call you back in the minute complaining that we done
- 14:51Speaker 10: prank him. All right, okay, all right, God bless you.
- 14:54Speaker 9: All right, let's go.
- 14:57Speaker 10: Writing me that paperwork on apartment three or four. Thing. Hello,
- 15:00Speaker 10: I'm looking for David.
- 15:01Speaker 11: Please. This is David.
- 15:02Speaker 10: Okay, this is GM Bouby mart and Green Apartments. Is
- 15:05Speaker 10: your mother?
- 15:06Speaker 2: Miss o?
- 15:07Speaker 11: Yes?
- 15:08Speaker 10: Yes, sir? How can I help you? Okay? We got
- 15:10Speaker 10: a problem here now. I'm the new general manager here
- 15:12Speaker 10: and I'm just getting this thing brought to me about
- 15:15Speaker 10: your mother not paying her water bille or and we got.
- 15:19Speaker 2: To get this matter taken in.
- 15:20Speaker 10: As of right now, I've been instructed to actually go
- 15:22Speaker 10: in and get your mother and take her completely out
- 15:25Speaker 10: of the apartment building. Okay, So tell me what the
- 15:27Speaker 10: problem is. Get to explain me what the situation.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Is, sir.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Situation right now is no one has paid this water
- 15:33Speaker 10: bille whatsoever. She thinks for lying and staying that she
- 15:36Speaker 10: only owes one hundred and six dollars and she owes
- 15:39Speaker 10: far more than that. She has not paid a water
- 15:41Speaker 10: bill at all. All right, and your mother and now
- 15:44Speaker 10: the first want to tell you your mother is very
- 15:46Speaker 10: rude to me and say him the door in my face.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Okay, sir, So let me, yeah, let me. I'm just
- 15:50Speaker 3: trying to understand the situation.
- 15:52Speaker 10: So the water bill hasn't been paid in how long?
- 15:54Speaker 10: From what I'm looking at, it's at least four or
- 15:57Speaker 10: five months from what looks like here on the paper.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Okay, So it's four or five months behind.
- 16:02Speaker 10: Yes it is, okay, and so how much is it.
- 16:05Speaker 10: I'm gonna have to tally all this up and get
- 16:07Speaker 10: everything lined up as far as the numbers as of
- 16:09Speaker 10: right now, sir. If no one is paying this bill
- 16:12Speaker 10: in the next thirty minutes, I am instructed to put
- 16:14Speaker 10: your mother out and pack her things and put her out,
- 16:17Speaker 10: and that's not what I want to do. But as
- 16:19Speaker 10: rude as she was to me, you know, at this point,
- 16:22Speaker 10: I'll tell you what, David, I don't give a damn sure.
- 16:24Speaker 3: So I just need I'm just here to try to
- 16:26Speaker 3: help make the situation better. So I need you to
- 16:29Speaker 3: take a deep breath for me and calm down, because
- 16:31Speaker 3: I'm I'm calm. So let's just let you know.
- 16:34Speaker 10: I'm just saying that I would be I would be
- 16:36Speaker 10: calm to had your mother not to slam the door
- 16:39Speaker 10: in the face and sads and things before she shut
- 16:41Speaker 10: that door. That I'd be trying to work as commonly
- 16:44Speaker 10: as you're working that.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Right, So what do we need to do? I won't
- 16:47Speaker 3: be able to do it within thirty minutes. But how
- 16:50Speaker 3: much is it?
- 16:50Speaker 10: Just?
- 16:50Speaker 3: You know, from what my understanding was, it was one
- 16:52Speaker 3: hundred and nine dollars or something, one hundred and six
- 16:54Speaker 3: dollars for at least four months. That what's the part
- 16:57Speaker 3: of me?
- 16:57Speaker 10: Go?
- 16:58Speaker 2: What is old?
- 16:58Speaker 10: Right now? The hundred six dollars, sir, is one month?
- 17:02Speaker 3: How is it? How was I guess my question is,
- 17:06Speaker 3: how does the water bill one hundred and six dollars
- 17:08Speaker 3: for a one bedroom apartment with one person. One hundred
- 17:11Speaker 3: and six dollars water bill is kind of high, don't
- 17:13Speaker 3: you think.
- 17:14Speaker 10: I mean, I don't have no idea what your mother's
- 17:16Speaker 10: doing she runs a lot of water, or I have
- 17:19Speaker 10: no idea about it unless.
- 17:20Speaker 3: She's washing every day and running all the water every day.
- 17:24Speaker 3: One hundred and six dollars for one for an apartment.
- 17:28Speaker 11: Is a bit extreme.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I mean, when you say so yourself, that's a bit high, sir.
- 17:32Speaker 10: I understand that you have some issues about what the
- 17:35Speaker 10: amount of the bill is. That does not get in
- 17:38Speaker 10: in the middle of the fact of how far far
- 17:40Speaker 10: behind we are. That's the problem we have.
- 17:42Speaker 3: How far behind over you. I'm just trying to I'm
- 17:44Speaker 3: trying to resolve you.
- 17:45Speaker 10: We are five months, but how much behind?
- 17:47Speaker 3: So how much is the bill for five months?
- 17:50Speaker 10: I'm getting I'm getting her to tally that up as
- 17:52Speaker 10: of right now. But let's get back to the issue
- 17:54Speaker 10: of someone not being able to get here in thirty minutes.
- 17:57Speaker 10: Is there no one that can get here and take
- 17:58Speaker 10: care of this bill in thirty minus?
- 17:59Speaker 3: Let's let's figure out how much it is and we'll
- 18:02Speaker 3: I'll try to get that worked out.
- 18:04Speaker 10: If I had to guesstimate, I mean, let's let's look
- 18:06Speaker 10: at the fact that here it is one hundred and
- 18:07Speaker 10: six dollars on one month. You know, let's say it's
- 18:10Speaker 10: roughly one hundred bucks each month. You know, you're looking
- 18:12Speaker 10: at five hundred bucks at least.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Yes, I have to say one hundred one hundred dollars
- 18:17Speaker 3: for us. That's that's extreme.
- 18:20Speaker 10: You know the problem that bothers me that you people
- 18:22Speaker 10: won't pay your bill.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Sir?
- 18:23Speaker 3: Wait a minute, now, I need you to relax, because
- 18:26Speaker 3: I pay my bill.
- 18:27Speaker 10: All right, Well, you got a mother over here that's
- 18:29Speaker 10: apparently you must be the caretaker of and you're not
- 18:32Speaker 10: taking care of your mother. From what it seems like.
- 18:34Speaker 11: What I need you to do is relax and not
- 18:37Speaker 11: not be accused to us.
- 18:39Speaker 3: That's what I need you to do.
- 18:40Speaker 10: I need you to and what I need you to
- 18:42Speaker 10: do is staying up, sir and take initiative. But whatever
- 18:46Speaker 10: your responsibility is, and if you're responsible for your mother,
- 18:49Speaker 10: then you should you should take care of your mother.
- 18:51Speaker 3: You know what, you're upset right now, and you're not
- 18:53Speaker 3: gonna get me upset with you because you don't know
- 18:57Speaker 3: what's going on and what is it?
- 18:59Speaker 10: Do you not care about your mother? Because in that case,

- 22:42Speaker 2: the internet and continue to troll. He's a hater, No baby,
- 22:49Speaker 2: go do you? Every married couple should have some individual
- 22:53Speaker 2: activities where you can go and just do and be
- 22:56Speaker 2: yourself freely. All of us you need me is fishing
- 23:02Speaker 2: and golf off fence. Sick as if you let me
- 23:07Speaker 2: do that, man, I'm gonna give you. Can I be
- 23:09Speaker 2: honest with y'all. My wife told me last year she
- 23:12Speaker 2: wanted to learn how to play golf. I've called every
- 23:17Speaker 2: golf course in a three hundred mile radius and told
- 23:22Speaker 2: her now wish to.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Larger lesson.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Twenty god our boycott, I have sponsors pull out you'll projects.

- 23:37Speaker 1: Run We've seen her with you though I.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Love fishing with my wife. Took three years to get
- 23:46Speaker 2: her to put her hand in that fishmouth. Do you
- 23:48Speaker 2: know what I used to do. I would hear her
- 23:51Speaker 2: holler and I'd have to lay my pole down, ride
- 23:54Speaker 2: all the way to the other side of lake, take
- 23:56Speaker 2: her fish out of the mouth, drive all the way
- 23:58Speaker 2: back around there, get my fishing roup, and she holler again.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I got to go back over there.
- 24:03Speaker 1: Okay, but that's something I'll do together.
- 24:05Speaker 2: You said you want to fish alone, but she fishes
- 24:08Speaker 2: with you. You gotta get on my mind, and I
- 24:09Speaker 2: want to do it together.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Called quality time, I will.
- 24:15Speaker 2: We won't need.
- 24:16Speaker 9: No, we got plenty of quality time. My quality time
- 24:20Speaker 9: cannot be my pastime. That's that's that's not that can't
- 24:24Speaker 9: be that. Hello, No, No, we got plenty.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Next question is all right, Pierre and Charleston.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Sorry, Jewel in landover Pierre and Charleston says, I overheard
- 24:34Speaker 1: my wife comparing my size to a guy she dated
- 24:37Speaker 1: before me. She said, I'm the biggest, but he was
- 24:41Speaker 1: the best. It hurt my pride, but I have kept
- 24:44Speaker 1: my feelings to myself. Is this just girl talk or
- 24:48Speaker 1: was she serious?
- 24:49Speaker 4: Can I bring it up or do I let it?
- 24:51Speaker 2: Good? Dog? And I know it hurts you because you
- 25:01Speaker 2: wrote us about it. But now one thing about it, though,
- 25:06Speaker 2: dog this probably is factual, is really nothing we could
- 25:09Speaker 2: do about it. Now you can play this stupid game
- 25:14Speaker 2: and you can let her her talking. I mean, I'm
- 25:18Speaker 2: excuse me, I mean you can let her hear you
- 25:20Speaker 2: talking to your friends. Now, how now let me tell
- 25:26Speaker 2: you how that ain't gonna work out? So, bro, you
- 25:31Speaker 2: know wherever this dude is, he ain't married, he ain't
- 25:35Speaker 2: got her. You got her, but you got Well, well,
- 25:43Speaker 2: let me say this to you. There's a song that applies.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Oh don't forget. There could be and old lover in
- 25:56Speaker 2: her memory.
- 25:58Speaker 9: See right there, James, great James, his activity, that's what
- 26:09Speaker 9: he needed.
- 26:09Speaker 2: He just laying there.
- 26:10Speaker 9: He need to do.
- 26:11Speaker 2: And what he got to do is he got he
- 26:13Speaker 2: got He got to get into the off. Well, how
- 26:15Speaker 2: can I do this for morning show radio? He needs
- 26:19Speaker 2: to go back to what do they call them? What
- 26:22Speaker 2: are those schools where you learn the trade? Trade? Went deep.
- 26:35Speaker 1: University of.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I don't. I don't know why. Yeah
- 26:39Speaker 2: I wanted to go deep, thank you, But that is
- 26:42Speaker 2: exactly trades ocation location. And see he needs to like
- 26:47Speaker 2: take a regular course like meal. Right, you know they
- 26:51Speaker 2: have plumbing they have courses for pipe land and he
- 26:56Speaker 2: needs to get in one of these courses, saying, yeah,
- 27:00Speaker 2: you see what I'm saying. You got you got his skill.
- 27:06Speaker 2: You gotta get his skill level up.
- 27:08Speaker 9: That's it, you know, that's it.
- 27:10Speaker 2: You see, like you know, if if, if, if you
- 27:13Speaker 2: had an old lovel that was electrifying, then I'm gonna
- 27:16Speaker 2: take up electricity. Yeah. You know, if if you had
- 27:22Speaker 2: somebody in your past that really went deep, then I
- 27:26Speaker 2: got I gotta go. I gotta go get me a
- 27:28Speaker 2: rollor ruder. You see what I'm saying. You know, if
- 27:31Speaker 2: if if if, if, if you got somebody that was
- 27:35Speaker 2: you know, just just made your eyes rolled in the
- 27:39Speaker 2: back of your head, then I got to go in
- 27:42Speaker 2: here and take the pipe lane course. But you know,
- 27:45Speaker 2: if you work in a sewerd department, that's what you do,
- 27:48Speaker 2: you lay pipe Thank you? Fred is the kind of
- 27:52Speaker 2: a turnoff stuff.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Can you just ask her.
- 27:59Speaker 2: What you want me to do? Why don't he leave
- 28:03Speaker 2: that alone?
- 28:04Speaker 10: All right?
- 28:05Speaker 2: That's what he's saying. You heard what you said? Or
- 28:07Speaker 2: she could just say, well we just we were just
- 28:10Speaker 2: girl talking, Larry. She's smart.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, Vernice and Omaha says my daughter had
- 28:17Speaker 1: a baby, and my ex husband flew in to see
- 28:20Speaker 1: the baby. He brought his new wife. That was his
- 28:23Speaker 1: side chick when we were married. I don't want her
- 28:26Speaker 1: around the baby. It's only been a year and I'm
- 28:28Speaker 1: still healing. Am I being unreasonable?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Very unreasonable? There's nothing you can do about that. This
- 28:36Speaker 2: is his current. You thinking that was his side piece
- 28:39Speaker 2: when y'all was together. You all have been wrong about
- 28:41Speaker 2: that before, but you do want to be able to
- 28:43Speaker 2: blame somebody, and now you don't want her around the baby.
- 28:48Speaker 2: Number one, It ain't your baby. It is his daughter,
- 28:53Speaker 2: and it is his current. Sometimes they graduate, but very rare.
- 28:58Speaker 2: It's hard to be con Okrah, you know mad potato,
- 29:05Speaker 2: white gravy and DNB chicken. It's hard.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Okay, that's it, all right, coming up half of the hour.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Thank you, Celo. We'll have some entertainment news for you
- 29:17Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Hard Morning Show. Well, we
- 29:23Speaker 1: all know by now that a Manhattan jury found Donald
- 29:26Speaker 1: Trump guilty on all thirty four counts of falsifying business
- 29:30Speaker 1: records in his hush money criminal trial. The name, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 29:37Speaker 1: The verdicts made history, of course, because it makes Trump
- 29:40Speaker 1: the first former president in US history to be convicted
- 29:44Speaker 1: of a felony. So Trump is now a convicted felon now.
- 29:48Speaker 1: According to CNN, the judge in the case, Juan Murshan,
- 29:52Speaker 1: set a sentencing hearing for July eleventh, that is, four
- 29:56Speaker 1: days before the Republican National Convention. By the way, Trump's
- 30:00Speaker 1: sentence is up to the judge, and it could include
- 30:03Speaker 1: prison time or probation. Prosecutors asked Trump for taking part
- 30:08Speaker 1: accused Trump of taking part in a legal conspiracy to
- 30:13Speaker 1: undermine the integrity of the twenty sixteen presidential election and
- 30:17Speaker 1: an unlawful plan to suppress negative information, which, of course, which,
- 30:23Speaker 1: of course, you know what.
- 30:25Speaker 2: If he's convicted on thirty four counts, thirty four counts,
- 30:31Speaker 2: he didn't escape none of this. I'm just really curious
- 30:36Speaker 2: as to really what the consequences are, because that's not
- 30:40Speaker 2: what I'm clear on. Well, you know, because I mean,
- 30:43Speaker 2: I'm sure there's no presidents for this where you can say, well,
- 30:46Speaker 2: the last time a president did it exactly past history, Yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 2: it is the first.
- 30:56Speaker 9: Well, I thought he wasn't going to be able to
- 30:57Speaker 9: run after this, so I was really confused.
- 31:00Speaker 1: No, he can definitely still run. Yeah, he can definitely
- 31:03Speaker 1: still run and he's going to and he says that
- 31:06Speaker 1: is the real verdict. He said that out of his
- 31:08Speaker 1: mouth after the verdict yesterday, that that'll be the real
- 31:13Speaker 1: verdict the November election.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You know what I did was I watched Fox News
- 31:21Speaker 2: yesterday because I always like to see what they say.
- 31:25Speaker 2: The spin that they have put on this thing is incredible,
- 31:31Speaker 2: It is incredible. Do you know, Not one time did
- 31:34Speaker 2: Fox ever mention what he did wrong, what he was
- 31:39Speaker 2: accused of doing wrong, Not one mention. All it was
- 31:46Speaker 2: was I don't see how they can do this, how
- 31:48Speaker 2: they can use the justice system to weaponize it for
- 31:52Speaker 2: political gain. That's all the conference, that's the narrative they're painting.
- 31:58Speaker 2: And the reaction to the Trump fans outside the courthouse
- 32:02Speaker 2: in New York was, man, yeah you did. You'd have
- 32:07Speaker 2: thought it was January sixth all over there, the expressions
- 32:10Speaker 2: on their face.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yeah, did you see the guy that was saying putting
- 32:14Speaker 1: his two wrists together, like, you know, putting them up
- 32:17Speaker 1: for to get handcuffs. He was like, take me instead,
- 32:20Speaker 1: take me take me instead, you know. And you mentioned
- 32:26Speaker 1: the word fan steve, which is short for fanatics. You know,
- 32:30Speaker 1: for a fanatic, and that's how they were acting like
- 32:33Speaker 1: fanatics out there.
- 32:35Speaker 10: You know.
- 32:35Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Yeah, it really really is worse.
- 32:39Speaker 1: And he has more trials to face. This is only one,
- 32:42Speaker 1: you know, it's four, and.
- 32:44Speaker 12: He's pleaded not guilty in those cases as well.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got.
- 32:50Speaker 4: DC.
- 32:52Speaker 2: He has such a stranglehold on the Republican Party. Yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 2: they have no other candidate date to put up for
- 33:01Speaker 2: Joe Biden. So for them, it's all hands on deck,
- 33:06Speaker 2: ride or die. Yeah, and so they are fully behind
- 33:11Speaker 2: this guy. I've never seen anything like this man ever before.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I've never seen the hypocrisy and the cowardice of this
- 33:20Speaker 2: country on full display as it is when it comes
- 33:23Speaker 2: to Donald J. Trump. I've never seen people cower down
- 33:28Speaker 2: and be afraid of a person as much as I've
- 33:32Speaker 2: seen this happen with Donald Trump. This could not have
- 33:35Speaker 2: happened to any other candidate. They would have been run
- 33:39Speaker 2: out of this country man. Yeah.
- 33:43Speaker 1: And you know, Steve, it's funny because there are only
- 33:47Speaker 1: three requirements to run for office for president again, for
- 33:53Speaker 1: the office president, according to the US Constitution, you have
- 33:56Speaker 1: to be a natural born citizen, meaning of course, you
- 33:59Speaker 1: have to be born here in the United States, you
- 34:02Speaker 1: have to be at least thirty five years old, and
- 34:05Speaker 1: you have to have been a US resident for at
- 34:09Speaker 1: least fourteen years.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Now you can add and.
- 34:15Speaker 1: You can be a convicted felon. But listen to me, sanity,
- 34:21Speaker 1: that's what inanity? What are the job can you get
- 34:24Speaker 1: with that on it?
- 34:25Speaker 2: I mean, you can't get a job, you can't vote. Listen.
- 34:29Speaker 2: The birthright thing is what they was trying to kill
- 34:33Speaker 2: Obama on.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Yep, exactly.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You know, man, they will do anything. You all have
- 34:40Speaker 2: got to watch Fox News to see the real danger
- 34:44Speaker 2: of here, the fact that they were sitting up saying
- 34:47Speaker 2: they took thirty four misdemeanors and turn them into felons.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Wait a minute, what are y'all talking about? This is
- 34:57Speaker 2: the law? Yeah, this is your law. Y'all wrote these laws.
- 35:02Speaker 2: We didn't get to write no laws. All these y'all laws.
- 35:07Speaker 2: What y'all wrote all these laws?
- 35:13Speaker 1: All this?
- 35:16Speaker 2: What's a misdemeanor? What's a felony? All of y'all wrote
- 35:20Speaker 2: all of this. This ain't our doing. And then the
- 35:23Speaker 2: moment it don't fit what you doing? Now you got
- 35:27Speaker 2: a problem with it? See what they need to do?
- 35:30Speaker 2: They need to take their fore father's Constitution and redo
- 35:35Speaker 2: it because it is non applicable to these carried times.
- 35:39Speaker 2: And they know it well. They didn't know Trump was
- 35:43Speaker 2: coming when they were writing it.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Yeah coming, Oh my goodness. They going to the polls though,
- 35:55Speaker 1: they going.
- 35:56Speaker 7: Its supporters will be there.
- 35:57Speaker 2: And we're going to.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Right, that's right, all right, coming up at twenty minutes
- 36:02Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 36:04Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:10Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Look the blessings just keep coming. Junior
- 36:13Speaker 1: has another poem, please.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Jay Rapp Junior's ragged Ass poem. On, get it over
- 36:20Speaker 2: with all right, here we go.
- 36:22Speaker 7: You know this is a special poem.
- 36:24Speaker 8: Uh, this poem is a poem I wrote about myself today.
- 36:29Speaker 8: You know, so this poem is called a poem for
- 36:32Speaker 8: Junior boy, that's me.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I might as well go ahead, cool, yeah, this aught
- 36:35Speaker 2: to open up a response.
- 36:37Speaker 7: Go ahead, yeah, oh you will, he will. Okay, here
- 36:40Speaker 7: we go.
- 36:41Speaker 8: I figured since I write poems for everyone else, I
- 36:45Speaker 8: might as well write one for my damn self. I'm
- 36:48Speaker 8: heading to Dallas when this when we finish this show

- 54:27Speaker 1: four years, off and on. That kind of threw me
- 54:30Speaker 1: because she put his name in there. 've ben with
- 54:32Speaker 1: Don for four years, oh, on and off. He's a
- 54:36Speaker 1: great friend, lover and hard worker, but he's messy. He
- 54:39Speaker 1: tells all of his sister's business and his older sister
- 54:42Speaker 1: beat him up several years ago. He didn't learn his lesson,
- 54:45Speaker 1: and he did it again. His older sister is supposedly
- 54:48Speaker 1: an escort, and he decided to share it with their dad,
- 54:52Speaker 1: and she showed up at their dad's house and warm
- 54:55Speaker 1: my man out. I couldn't stand by and let that
- 54:58Speaker 1: happen because he didn't run from her or anything. I
- 55:02Speaker 1: ended up with a busted lip and a pulled muscle.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Then his sister's boyfriend showed up at our house and
- 55:07Speaker 1: he tried to have round two with my man. That
- 55:10Speaker 1: wasn't happening, and I hit him with a broom the
- 55:13Speaker 1: minute he lunged at my husband. I don't get why
- 55:16Speaker 1: my boyfriend won't defend himself or keep his mouth closed
- 55:20Speaker 1: when it comes to his sisters. He did a similar
- 55:22Speaker 1: thing to his younger sister. She asked to stay with us,
- 55:26Speaker 1: and I said she could stay for a few days,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but not her boyfriend, and I told him no. She
- 55:33Speaker 1: showed up anyway with her sorry boyfriend, and my messy
- 55:36Speaker 1: man asked the dude if he still got two warrants.
- 55:39Speaker 1: All he had to do is put his foot down
- 55:42Speaker 1: and tell his sister no. Instead, he got in this
- 55:46Speaker 1: six ' four young man's face, talking like he could
- 55:49Speaker 1: whoop his tail. That man shoved my man in the forehead,
- 55:53Speaker 1: and my man fell back like he was in a
- 55:55Speaker 1: wrestling match. So I had to step in once again
- 55:58Speaker 1: and calm the situation. The fact that don don't defend him,
- 56:03Speaker 1: won't defend himself is a problem for me. Can a
- 56:06Speaker 1: man be everything that I need him to be and
- 56:08Speaker 1: be a whimp at the same time. He has gotten
- 56:11Speaker 1: me into a lot of fights lately, and I need
- 56:14Speaker 1: him to control his mouth. Is too much to ask
- 56:18Speaker 1: for him to defend himself. Why is he such? Why
- 56:21Speaker 1: is he a woosie? Because he's stupid, I mean, obviously,
- 56:24Speaker 1: and he likes getting beat down. I guess does he
- 56:28Speaker 1: drink or something. I got to ask you that out
- 56:30Speaker 1: the gate, because this is highly unusual and stupid behavior.
- 56:34Speaker 2: It just really is.
- 56:35Speaker 1: He's making the messes and you have to come in
- 56:38Speaker 1: and clean it up. Well, you don't have to, but
- 56:40Speaker 1: you do. I mean, it's like cleaning up after a child.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Here.
- 56:43Speaker 1: I'm glad he doesn't hit his sisters because he shouldn't anyway,
- 56:47Speaker 1: And with all the trash talking and gossiping he does,
- 56:50Speaker 1: he could really get hurt. He could really get hurt.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Doesn't he realize he's putting you his wife and harm's
- 56:56Speaker 1: way and because of that, you gotta stop defending him. Okay,
- 57:02Speaker 1: you could get hurt here.
- 57:03Speaker 4: He's a grown man.
- 57:05Speaker 1: I know you love him and all of that and
- 57:07Speaker 1: think you're doing the right thing by helping him, but
- 57:09Speaker 1: you gotta let him fight his own battles. Again, he
- 57:12Speaker 1: is a grown man. He's the one that's starting all
- 57:15Speaker 1: the trouble. It's not at all too much to ask
- 57:18Speaker 1: him to stop fighting, but if he won't, you've got to.
- 57:20Speaker 1: You're his wife, not his bodyguard.
- 57:23Speaker 9: Steve.
- 57:24Speaker 2: Well, okay, good, let's go and get your letter, because
- 57:27Speaker 2: I know exactly what's happening here. Listen, to me, lady,
- 57:30Speaker 2: he won't fight back, but I will now I've been
- 57:34Speaker 2: with Don for four years now. Surely the reason she
- 57:37Speaker 2: wrote the man's name in there because she's accustomed to
- 57:39Speaker 2: the way you ask a letter. So she just tried
- 57:41Speaker 2: to help you out by putting his name in there,
- 57:43Speaker 2: because he know you're gonna break She know you're gonna
- 57:45Speaker 2: break him up anyway, so she might as well put
- 57:47Speaker 2: his name in it so he'll know exactly when this
- 57:50Speaker 2: relationships in what it was talking about. Because you'll you
- 57:55Speaker 2: was known to be breaking people up. You tried to
- 57:57Speaker 2: handle this in more of a therapeutic weight. This anyway,
- 58:03Speaker 2: done for four years on and off. He's a great
- 58:06Speaker 2: free and lover, hard worker, but he's messy. He tells
- 58:10Speaker 2: all his sister's business and his oldest sister beat him
- 58:15Speaker 2: up several years ago. Well, he didn't learn his lesson,
- 58:19Speaker 2: and he did it again. His older sister is supposedly
- 58:23Speaker 2: an escort. He decided to share this with his dad.
- 58:26Speaker 2: She showed him to dad and wore her man out.
- 58:29Speaker 2: That means, and so let me give you clarity on that.
- 58:33Speaker 2: She came over there and whooped his ass. That's what
- 58:37Speaker 2: this was. You now, I couldn't stand by and let
- 58:41Speaker 2: that happen. Because he didn't run from her or anything.
- 58:43Speaker 2: I ended up with a busted lip and a pool muscle.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Now let me translate that she whooped both, y'all ass Now,
- 58:51Speaker 2: I don't know what kind of escort she is, but
- 58:55Speaker 2: whoever bring her in, God's to pay her, cause she
- 59:02Speaker 2: got hands so she can whoop. Don you and any
- 59:07Speaker 2: escort that don't pay the two fifty? Okay? Then his
- 59:11Speaker 2: sister's boyfriend showed up. That's the escort got a boyfriend.
- 59:16Speaker 2: He showed up at our house and he tried to
- 59:18Speaker 2: have round two of my man. That wasn't happening. I
- 59:20Speaker 2: hit him with a broom the moment he lunged in
- 59:23Speaker 2: my husband. I don't get why my boyfriend won't defend
- 59:26Speaker 2: or keep his mouth closed when it comes to his sisters.
- 59:29Speaker 2: He did a similar thing to his younger sister. She
- 59:33Speaker 2: asked to stay with us. He couldn't stay. She stayed,
- 59:35Speaker 2: You said she can stay for a few days, but
- 59:36Speaker 2: not a boyfriend. She showed up anyway with the sorry boyfriend. Okay,
- 59:41Speaker 2: and then your messy man asked the dude if he
- 59:46Speaker 2: still had two one. Then he got pushed down in
- 59:50Speaker 2: the forehead like a wrestling mat. Okay, first of all,
- 59:53Speaker 2: your boyfriend need to take up karate. Boyfred has got
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: to take up some form of martial arts because this
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: boy is just getting his ass whip everywhere by anybody
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: and everybody. His sisters beat his ass. The sister boyfriend
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: beat his ass, and not a younger sister Tom whipped
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: his ass. It's all this and all of this is
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: because your man ain't obviously learned when he was younger,
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: and now he's learning late in life. Shut show, damn mouth.
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: When we come back, I'll tell you the rest.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: subject he won't fight back, but I will. We'll get
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve.
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: the subject he won't fight back but I will.
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: Now, this lady's not married to this guy named Don.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: She been four year relationship on and off. I'm gonna
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: strongly suggest after this that we get more into the
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: off position because on ain't working. Don runs his mouth
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: a lot. He told his daddy that his oldest sister
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: was an escort. She came over and whooped his ass.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Then she went home and told her boyfriend. He came
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: over to the house and he whooped Don's hands. Then
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: he said something to her younger sister about staying at
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: the house with her boyfriend. He asked her, he has
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: the boyfriend. You still got them warrants. He turned around
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: and he whooped his hands. Now on the last break,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: I had the first suggestion was, I think your boyfriend
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: need to take up karate. He needs some form of
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: martial arts because he first of all, he just keep
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: getting his ass whooped. That's all this is. And why
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: does he keep getting this behind whooped because he has
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: never learned when he will. He was younger to shut
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: your damn mouth. But now you at this age where
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: people gonna teach it to you. Most people learned this
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: at an early age. I learned it on the playground
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: one time, that you can't play with everybody, And I
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: learned that I was talking through a chain link fence
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: one time. My lips was through the links on the fence.
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: My lips all and well, the only thing was out
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: there on the basketball court was my lips and I
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: was talking trash about this dude. And then little did
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I know that he went around behind me, but I
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: had my face mashed him get the chain link fence,
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: and I ain't seen well. He came up behind me
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: and mashed the back of my head further into the
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: chain link fence. Now all my facial features is coming
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: out to chain leak fish. And that's when I learned
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: you can't. They was bigger than ever they and they
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: was out there tripping people on the basketball court. So
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: I learned that's time and place for everything. Okay, So
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: now then now she said that all her husband had,
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: all her boyfriend got do is put his foot down
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: and tell his sister no, the young man shoved him
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: in the forehead. I fell back like he was in
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: a wrestling match. So I had to once again step
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: in and calm the situation and the fact that Don
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: won't defend himself as a problem for me. Can a
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: man be everything I need him to be and a
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: whimp at the same time? He has gotten me into
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: a lot of fights lately, and I need him to
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: control his mouth. Is this too much to ask? For
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: him to defend himself. Why is he a woos Now?
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Normally this situation is reversed. It's usually the woman running
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: her mouth and a man got to jump in and
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: stand a bunch of fights, and then a man go
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: to this girl and say, hey, baby, quit talking to
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: these dudes now, because I got to do something. Now
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: you are asking me something. Can a man be a
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: wiss and everything you want at the same time. In
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: my book, act like a lady, think like a man,
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: I wrote the three p's that a man shows his
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: love to a woman and the three peas are to provide,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: to profess, and to protect. Well, Don can't protect you
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: because you so busy protecting Don. We have three things
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: that we have to do. We have to provide for
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: a female and her family and our family. We have
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: to profess our love for somebody's daughter somewhere, and we
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: gotta protect our family or our loved one. That's our job.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: You can't protect people, you ain't doing your job, and
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: you running your damn mouth. I think the problem you
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: got is you can't make him defend himself, and you
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: may not be able to get him to defend you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: Because what's gonna happen when the situation arise where you
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: need defend it. He don't defend himself. You may find
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: out that he not gonna defend you. You, now, what
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: do you have? That's probably why your relationship is on
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: and off. Also, let me tell you something else. I
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: don't I don't know what. I don't know if you've
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: ever heard this before, but see here the lesson don
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: ain't learned. This is an old school lesson. Pay closely attention.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: You can't write a check your ass can't cash. That's
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: old school, sir. You can't write a check that your
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: ass can't cash. Don can't cash check. Don don Mouth
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: got insufficient funds Now, Don is writing checks that his
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: ass can't cash, and people won't they payment. See, because
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: if you're gonna talk about me, you go you and
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: I come for you. You you gotta have a payment plan.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: All Don doing is getting his ass for now. Here's
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: my suggestion to you. Your eventual decision has to be
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: You've got to decide that you Now, you said in
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: your letter, here's the pronoun you picked. Why is he
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: a whoosy? You said that that's in your letter. Why
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: is he a whoosy? I don't know, but maybe that's
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: what he's chosen to be. He has every right to
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: be that. This is why you and own again relationship
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: because you're in a relationship with a woozy. You ain't
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: the first person called him a woosy because right after
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: the big six foot folk did, he said, Man, get
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: your little whoosy ass out of here. He pushed them
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: dead in his head. I bet he said that that's
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: your that's the word you chose to call him, not me.
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: So now that you know that, why are you with him?
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: He cannot protect you or provide for you? Call he
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: a woozy?
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: All right?
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Leave your comments on today's Strawberry at Steve Harvey FM
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: and Strubbery Podcast other free iHeartRadio app Crazy. What's coming
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: up next? Junior and Sports Talk? Right after this you're listening.
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: Morning show?
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: All right? Then it's time now for Junior and Sports Talk.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: What you got Junior?
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: Well, you know what, Shirley in Lewis Sports Today. I
- 1:07:18Speaker 8: want to just get everybody ready for tomorrow. That is
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: the Cure's Hope five k Running Fun Walk at the
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: Market Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas, Texas.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: Uh, this is gonna be a major year.
- 1:07:27Speaker 8: For us because let me tell you something, I want
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: to thank Dallas for showing up each and every year
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: for this and in one on five point seven they
- 1:07:34Speaker 8: show up.
- 1:07:34Speaker 7: Every year to support us.
- 1:07:36Speaker 8: Man, this is this is something that is my work
- 1:07:39Speaker 8: in the community. This is something I have to do
- 1:07:41Speaker 8: because you know, uncle said, when you get on this platform,
- 1:07:44Speaker 8: you can't just sit up here and just use it
- 1:07:45Speaker 8: for yourself. You have to go help somebody got to
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: reach back and go get its the cures hope. We
- 1:07:50Speaker 8: take these funds and every year we take them to
- 1:07:53Speaker 8: a city in the United States. This year is gonna
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: be Norfolk, Virginia, and we pay for ten families Christmas
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: because sickle cell is very long in the winter time
- 1:08:01Speaker 8: because of the cold. Because I'm waken up in the
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: hospital on Christmas and it's not fun when your whole
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: family there and nobody gets to celebrate Christmas because you
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: were in the hospital because you got sick.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: But we try to give them Christmas before that happens.
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: But there's also other some other great.
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: Things that we're going to start doing as Curious Whole Foundation.
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: It's but also gonna help support Alicia Spade's sitters. I'm
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: gonna start a program to where when you go to work,
- 1:08:24Speaker 8: I'm gonna have somebody sit with your child or you're
- 1:08:26Speaker 8: a dope person while you at work, because one of
- 1:08:28Speaker 8: the problems we face in the sickle cell community is
- 1:08:30Speaker 8: an economic problem. Because one time, if you a parent
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: and you can't go to work because your baby is
- 1:08:36Speaker 8: in the hospital, you lose income. Well, we're gonna find
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: a way to keep your income. You can go to work,
- 1:08:42Speaker 8: and that way we'll have a sitter sit there and
- 1:08:43Speaker 8: tell you everything the doctor said about your baby. That's
- 1:08:45Speaker 8: another program.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: I'm gonna do.
- 1:08:47Speaker 8: The final thing I'm trying to do, and I'm going
- 1:08:49Speaker 8: to do before I close my minds on this earth,
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: I'm gonna open up a Cures Hope sickle Cell Center.
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: That is my goal.
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: That is the thing.
- 1:08:57Speaker 7: I've already had the plans drawn up.
- 1:08:59Speaker 8: All I know that need to do now is figure
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: out how do I get the business people to get
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: involved to get me this Cure's Hope Sickle Cell Center.
- 1:09:06Speaker 7: It has fifty beds in it.
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: It will be staffed with it would be staffed with
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: people who are caring about sickle sells.
- 1:09:13Speaker 7: When I go to the emergency room, be.
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: Mistreated called be called drug seekers. None of that will
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: be happening at the Cures Hope Sickle Self Center.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: When you come in, they.
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: Already understand why you're here, and that's my goal.
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: It has a research center in it to help progress
- 1:09:27Speaker 8: the things that we need to find out about sickle.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Cell opening up the kids sickle Cell Center phenomenal idea.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Then you said, all I got to do is figure out.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: Don't do that. Put it on your board, take it
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: to God. The how to is none of your business.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: Nowhere in the Bible does it tell us to figure
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: it out. You don't have to figure it out. Just
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: leave it to God. Just put the request out there,
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: be willing to do the work. The rest of it's
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: on him. He know the way. Man Junior, that's I
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: want to congratulations.
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: That's really great.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Voice. Sounded like his crime though, I do want to
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: point that out.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Congratulation all right. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: a wife wants revenge after her husband insulted and embarrassed her.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this. You're listening.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Morning show, all right.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: This one is from Daphanie in Brooklyn. Daphanie says, Steve,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: my husband and I went to a house party and
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: the lady of the house had on a sea through
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: fitted dress and my husband couldn't take his eyes off
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: of her. I told him that it was obvious that
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: he was staring at her, and we ended up arguing.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: The man of the house asked up, asked us if
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: we were cool, and my husband told him I was
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: jealous of his wife. I can't forgive him for this.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: He doesn't even understand what he did, and I want
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to show him how it fell. How can I get
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: him back? That's what she wants to know.
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: You want me to You want me to tell you
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: how to get revenged. There's no getting back what you
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: already said. You ain't forgiving. Ain't that enough? Hell at
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: y'all's house, Tommy, kid, you ever been in a house
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: when your wife was just mad at you? Not not
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: not forgiving, you're just mad at you. Well, she's mad
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: and not gonna forgive him. Lady, that's enough. You don't
- 1:11:35Speaker 2: have to do no more. I don't know why. Now.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Look if I come over your house and you got

- 1:12:43Speaker 1: Why has it been hard? You've been chicking it with
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: your friends brothers.
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: Yeah, my boys is in town and their sense of
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: humor is relentless, and they don't really have filters. So
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: I've been talking for three days with no filter. And
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: then when I got to get him go do the radio.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: I just think it's regular.

- 1:15:27Speaker 1: least fifteen hundred, fifteen hundred times, dating back to the
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: nineteen seventies. His very first arrest was for carrying a
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: concealed weapon. Now, after that, he spent six thousand days
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: of his life in jail. It was mostly for public
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: intoxication and disorderly conduct. Henry Earl died at a nursing home.

- 1:15:53Speaker 1: seven years of his life.

- 1:16:36Speaker 1: out of jail.
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: He now, so you can do all this and in
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: seven years wrap it up and they're gonna warm up

- 1:18:21Speaker 4: Which one?

- 1:19:02Speaker 2: Sitting over here looking like a chew dance Kermit? If here,
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: I'm talking about.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Who would you rather be a praise dancer or would
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: you rather be a choir director? Which ones I'm direct?
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I'm not putting that robe on with them overweight people
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: sitting up here doing them two inch jumps.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Oh so, no to the praise dancer. That's what you're saying.
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: If y'all don't stop these praise dancers at these church
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: all these women who could not make the gymnastic team
- 1:19:37Speaker 2: because of weight restrictions, and now y'all have put these
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: robes on, got these flags, jumping around, splashing in water barefoot,
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: can't jump. Stop. We need, indeed, praise dancer. You can't say,
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: first of all, it wouldn't created praise dancer. This is
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: for everybody that didn't y'all cut from the gymnastic team.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: They couldn't make it in the choir because they ain't
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: because they they were too young to be on the usherboard,
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: because they didn't want to wear the white gloves. No, no, no,
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: I ain't seen now one of them could dance. These
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: ain't alvin A dancers.
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: They want to.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: She's coming up next. We'll close out the show with
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: You're listening, Hary Morning Show.
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are on this historic, historic
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: day in our country and our political all of that, y'all.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: I've been sitting up in here thinking about this and
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: my closing remarks. I guess, first of all, I've never
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: seen this before. I mean, and no one has. But
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: almost almost, I say, I almost can't believe it's not happening.
- 1:21:02Speaker 2: But then again, I know exactly why it's happening, because
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: this country we live in was built on this type
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: of thing, this type of deception, this type of corruption.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: This is why this whole thing got started. See. He
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: started this whole thing with the election was stolen and
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: oh and yeah, knowing good in the hell, well it
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: wasn't stolen, see, but that's how they got everything else.
- 1:21:38Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: They comfortable with this type of thing, and they are
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: so comfortable with it, We're gonna sit here and watch
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: them eat this and swallow this like it's a wonderfully
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: baked cake when it ain't none but a pile of sugar, honey,
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: ice tea. That's all this here is, man. See here,
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: this is the part that killed me. The DA followed
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: all the evidence. That's a DA's job. They followed the facts,
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: the prosecutors in this case presented their case and the facts.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: Now the defense, which is Trump's attorneys and Donald Trump,
- 1:22:19Speaker 2: which claimed all along that this was not the case,
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: this isn't true, this is fake news, this is all
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: politically motivated. And they had all the facts too. They
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: had every chance to show just one thing, reasonable doubt.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: That's all they had to do. What's just so they
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: didn't have to even prove their case. All they had
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: to do was get a jury of twelve one person
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: to have reasonable doubt, and they would have walked out
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: of there an innocent man. That's all they had to do. Now.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: I don't know if you are familiar with jury selection,
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: but the defense and the prosecutors has to be on
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: each jury member selected, so nobody gets to say they
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: padded the jury, so you can't say that. And then
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: it's a jury of your peers, so they can't say that.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: So everybody had in the jury who they thought would
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: give them the best chance to win. But guess what
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: they couldn't do that. They couldn't produce one person to
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: show reasonable doubt. So he walked out of here guilty.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: But because they couldn't produce a person that said he
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: had he was an innocent man. The first thing he
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: did was walk out of that courtroom and say, I
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: am a totally innocent man. And they started cheering and
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: ran because you know what, folks, they got nobody to
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: go to this Republican convention with to go up against
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Biden except Trump, because he made everybody go away out
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: of fear, because if you voted for somebody else that
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: all those people were afraid that the Trump supporters would
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: turn on them. So now all of his adversaries, the
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: Tim Scotts, that all the other people that was against
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: him doing the debates, they all on his team so
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: they can keep the Trump supporters. This guy's a bad disease, man.
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: This guy is just a bad disease for this country.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: And this country got it. But this is what this
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: country is built on. You know, when you're a convicted felon.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Do you know there are some states where you still
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: can't vote if you are convicted felon? So how to
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: hell we got a convicted feling can be president of
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: the United States. Oh, I'm sorry, your forefather's constitution. Oh,
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: according to that glorious document that's legal. Oh that's strange.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: And then to the followers of Trump, How blinded are
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: you as a follower that you are willing to justify
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: allowing this type of behavior and become the leader of
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: the free world. How do you do that? Man? How
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: do you point to your grandchildren to go, this is
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: the president of our beloved United States. See, we've never
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: been able to do that until Barack Obama came along.
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: Other people have been able to do that since this
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: nation was formed. This is our president. Y'all been saying
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: that for a long time. Well, you had him one time.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: What did he do? And if he was all that
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: good at what he did, why didn't he win the
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: popular vote? Again, He's never won the popular vote? Man,
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: what's wrong with this country? What's wrong with us as
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: a people? It's the country. I'm not part of that. Man,
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: I'm not gonna be a part of that. You know
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna make Shu I'm registered.
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: Because what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna send a
- 1:26:03Speaker 2: message that I don't agree with this allowing this to happen. Now,
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: he may very well get away with it, I don't know,
- 1:26:10Speaker 2: but it ain't gonna because I said at home and
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: I didn't vote. That's not what it's gonna be. I'm
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: gonna do my part to send the message to all
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: those people who are supposed to be in power for
- 1:26:21Speaker 2: the people to hay say, man, we ain't taking this
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: right here, and so I'm going to vote because I'm
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: not gonna let you run his garbage down my throat.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: I'm just not gonna do it. I'm not gonna sit
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: here and let it happen. So I think we should
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: all go vote. I think we're obligated to vote. I
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: think we have to send a message to them that
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: black people and people of color we are very powerful
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: voting block. We showed it in the last time. When
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: when when when when he ran against Biden and we celebrated.
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: We're gonna do the same thing again. This is crazy, man,
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: But I'm curious to see what's gonna happen on July eleven.
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: All right, y'all, those are my closing remarks. I have
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: so much more I want to say on this, but
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: we out of time. Y'all have a great date. Listen,
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: talk to God. He'd love to hear from you. I'll
