- 1:24Speaker 1: Gotta turn. I got to turn the mouth.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn you probably got to turn the mouth, turn out
- 1:46Speaker 5: the water, the monk.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on you, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 4: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 4: one and only Seve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah man, got one. Hey.
- 2:14Speaker 4: You know, I thought I think of my life in
- 2:18Speaker 4: terms of blessings. You know, I take mostly a positive
- 2:21Speaker 4: approach and a positive spin to my life. I hardly
- 2:25Speaker 4: ever dwell on you know, the what's well. I can't
- 2:29Speaker 4: say that I don't think about the what's wrong in
- 2:32Speaker 4: it because I have to, because I have to address
- 2:34Speaker 4: problems as they arise. But I try not to let
- 2:38Speaker 4: them consume me. I let the consumption part be about
- 2:43Speaker 4: the blessings, the positive things that has occurred in my life,
- 2:47Speaker 4: the good things that God has done for me, the
- 2:50Speaker 4: power that He's displayed in my life, the protection He's
- 2:54Speaker 4: given me over the years to being tucked under his wings.
- 2:58Speaker 4: I focus on the things that he promises me. I
- 3:02Speaker 4: think of all the goodness that I perceive to come
- 3:05Speaker 4: my way. I think that has a lot to do
- 3:08Speaker 4: with me learning more and more about the law of
- 3:10Speaker 4: attraction in terms of you know, what you think and
- 3:14Speaker 4: what you put out in the space, and what you
- 3:16Speaker 4: pray about is what you receive. You know, and so
- 3:19Speaker 4: I've become better and better at that. It's not to
- 3:23Speaker 4: say that I'm not human and I don't have moments
- 3:26Speaker 4: where I think a little bit too long about what's
- 3:29Speaker 4: going wrong and what enemy is about to attack and
- 3:33Speaker 4: what they're going to do and say, and all it
- 3:35Speaker 4: is his. That's not to say that I'm not concerned
- 3:38Speaker 4: about it. But I try to dwell mostly on the positive.
- 3:41Speaker 4: And one of the things that I learned, you can
- 3:45Speaker 4: have an incredible life, all of us. We can have
- 3:49Speaker 4: incredible lives if we just let God drive. See. The
- 3:54Speaker 4: problem that I had years ago was I was the
- 3:58Speaker 4: driver of my life, and I was taking myself in
- 4:02Speaker 4: the directions that I thought would be best for me,
- 4:06Speaker 4: and I aimed at things that I thought I could accomplish,
- 4:10Speaker 4: and I set goals that I saw myself being able
- 4:15Speaker 4: to attain. I was driving when I gave up and
- 4:19Speaker 4: I let God drive. I then opened up my mind
- 4:23Speaker 4: and my spirit to what God had for me, For
- 4:28Speaker 4: what God could see for me, for what God could
- 4:32Speaker 4: do in my life. Well, for what God wanted for me.
- 4:36Speaker 4: Now he wanted for me, and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:42Speaker 4: that's the connection that you got to try to make. Well,
- 4:44Speaker 4: not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:47Speaker 4: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:50Speaker 4: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:52Speaker 4: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:55Speaker 4: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:58Speaker 4: be nearly as demanding an and as offsetting as you
- 5:01Speaker 4: think it's gonna be.
- 5:02Speaker 2: See.
- 5:02Speaker 4: I thought that if I did God's will, that if
- 5:06Speaker 4: I let God tell me what to do, that it
- 5:09Speaker 4: would cause me to not to be able to do
- 5:11Speaker 4: a certain some things I wanted to do well, which
- 5:13Speaker 4: is true. But the stuff I wanted to do was
- 5:16Speaker 4: all detrimental to my well being and my future and
- 5:19Speaker 4: my growth and development as a man. I was stopping
- 5:24Speaker 4: my own growth as a man because see, I was
- 5:26Speaker 4: doing what I thought I should do as a man.
- 5:29Speaker 4: But when you give it over to God. See, God
- 5:31Speaker 4: has a much better plan for you than you can
- 5:33Speaker 4: ever have for yourself. And God knows a better way,
- 5:36Speaker 4: far better than the one you know.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I want you to believe that.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Man.
- 5:39Speaker 4: You got to understand that part of it. And that's
- 5:42Speaker 4: the part that I finally got through my head to
- 5:44Speaker 4: let God do it his way and to show me
- 5:48Speaker 4: a better way, and to teach me a better way
- 5:51Speaker 4: and expose to me a better way. And when I
- 5:53Speaker 4: opened up my mind to what God was talking about,
- 5:56Speaker 4: I began to see things totally differently, and things started
- 6:01Speaker 4: coming to me totally differently.
- 6:03Speaker 1: If you've been a.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Friend of mine or a fan of mine over the years,
- 6:08Speaker 4: I mean, you've had to see it, the change.
- 6:10Speaker 1: You've had to see the difference.
- 6:13Speaker 4: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:16Speaker 4: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:19Speaker 4: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:22Speaker 4: if I told it all day long, would he done
- 6:25Speaker 4: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:28Speaker 4: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
- 6:31Speaker 4: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:35Speaker 4: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:39Speaker 4: because I'm still shock.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You can't be him.
- 6:43Speaker 4: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:46Speaker 4: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:48Speaker 4: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. And
- 6:51Speaker 4: so you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 6:54Speaker 4: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 6:57Speaker 4: of perfection. But it's something that you can have because
- 7:00Speaker 4: he said you can't do it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But that's what he'd have for.
- 7:04Speaker 4: He'd have for the moments when you stumble and you fall,
- 7:06Speaker 4: and you go stumble and fall. See, you got to
- 7:09Speaker 4: get that part right, man, The stumbling falling part is coming.
- 7:12Speaker 4: But see, you get God in your life and it
- 7:14Speaker 4: helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow roll,
- 7:19Speaker 4: over lay their languish.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's what God is for. So when you stumbling, fall,
- 7:25Speaker 1: you get back up.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Because you're going to make mistakes, You're going to get
- 7:29Speaker 4: it wrong, You're going to come under attack, You're going
- 7:33Speaker 4: to be lied about, you are going to be falsely accused.
- 7:37Speaker 1: That's going to happen to you the.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Moment you make a decision to do better the moment
- 7:42Speaker 4: you try to be more. The devil got to send
- 7:45Speaker 4: his attackers, man, and he controls certain people. He just
- 7:49Speaker 4: got people that's on his side twenty four seven.
- 7:52Speaker 1: You know him too.
- 7:53Speaker 4: You've all met one or two of men in your life.
- 7:56Speaker 4: They just busy with the business of nothingness, just busy
- 8:00Speaker 4: about about the destruction of others. You said, I know them,
- 8:04Speaker 4: you know them. They coming. But here's what you gotta
- 8:08Speaker 4: hold fast too. They can't take away nothing from you
- 8:12Speaker 4: that God gave you. They didn't make you. See, people
- 8:16Speaker 4: who claim to have made you, if they so in
- 8:20Speaker 4: to make you business, why don't they make theirself?
- 8:23Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more?
- 8:24Speaker 4: And they so busy in them I made you business,
- 8:28Speaker 4: why don't they make somebody else? Since you want to
- 8:31Speaker 4: get credit for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible
- 8:37Speaker 4: for someone else's success, then you should easily be able
- 8:40Speaker 4: to take claim and be responsible for your own success. See,
- 8:44Speaker 4: be careful of that. Don't and don't change your course
- 8:48Speaker 4: because somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope man,
- 8:52Speaker 4: that I'm giving it to God the way I said
- 8:54Speaker 4: I would give it to him, that I would unload
- 8:56Speaker 4: every chance I got that I was supposed to without.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Being, you know, or here he come again?
- 9:02Speaker 2: You know.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I try not to be that, but man, I don't
- 9:04Speaker 4: know what else to be for the first twelve minutes
- 9:06Speaker 4: of my show? What else you want me to say?
- 9:08Speaker 4: I got four hours? I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:12Speaker 4: I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:14Speaker 4: let's look at this right here. If you've given honor
- 9:17Speaker 4: to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he
- 9:21Speaker 4: gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and
- 9:25Speaker 4: breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes
- 9:27Speaker 4: to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.
- 9:31Speaker 4: What in exchange? What a wonderful life God has given
- 9:34Speaker 4: me in exchange for so small of effort that I
- 9:37Speaker 4: put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put
- 9:39Speaker 4: forth to God seems so dawning that you don't attempt
- 9:42Speaker 4: to do it, because man, it seems like a lot.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
- 9:46Speaker 1: us for real.
- 9:47Speaker 4: So if you want a real life, you want a
- 9:49Speaker 4: real shot at what you can be, what you can have,
- 9:51Speaker 4: what you can own, what you can become who you
- 9:53Speaker 4: really are.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Go to God, let him fix you. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 6: That's all you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, monkey training, Coca Cola
- 10:10Speaker 4: truck drives. Anybody work at the stop shop, anybody sevent eleven.

- 10:20Speaker 4: fourth ward. I want anybody that's ever been through the
- 10:24Speaker 4: projects and made all of you that relled and rolled
- 10:27Speaker 4: out to the suburbs and got a little bit better.

- 10:34Speaker 4: in college, everybody that ain't think, everybody that's in heating
- 10:37Speaker 4: and hour, everybody's at the plumbing Institute, anybody at the ride.
- 10:43Speaker 4: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Mornings. Yeah, everybody, this is
- 10:50Speaker 4: how we do.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Gonna be a great day today. But you gotta
- 10:55Speaker 1: put it in your heart.
- 10:55Speaker 3: Man.
- 10:56Speaker 4: You gotta think positive and positive things that come your way.
- 10:59Speaker 4: Watch every word comes out your mouth. The tongue is powerful.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Speak positivity and light into your life. And so shall
- 11:07Speaker 1: it be. In the beginning, God said, let there be light,
- 11:11Speaker 1: and guess what happened? It lit up?
- 11:15Speaker 4: Watch what comes out your mouth, because that's what's gonna happen.
- 11:18Speaker 4: I declare that today would be a great day. I'm
- 11:21Speaker 4: already grateful for all the things God is setting up
- 11:24Speaker 4: to go in front of me. I expect God to
- 11:26Speaker 4: be in every room before I get there. And when
- 11:29Speaker 4: I get that, all I got to do is look
- 11:31Speaker 4: for him. I claim this in his name, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Steve Harvin, Marni Show, Shelly Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica,
- 11:40Speaker 4: Junior too, riding on with the legend that is nephew
- 11:44Speaker 4: Tommy in the voice of my favorite rappers, God Faith.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Yeah, Junior, got your glasses on again. Man, look nice today, Man,
- 11:54Speaker 1: thank you, Uh appreciate you. Yeah. Where'd you get him?
- 11:57Speaker 1: At Pearl Vision?
- 12:00Speaker 7: I'm on Liz Crafts, Liz Crapps, they did this.
- 12:03Speaker 1: That's what I was trying to think of Lin's craft
- 12:06Speaker 1: because you go, you and Liz Crafted. Dude. They didn't
- 12:09Speaker 1: have him at Macy's. No none, did it have no,
- 12:14Speaker 1: No that she's prescribed.
- 12:17Speaker 7: I can't see it at all.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Now, Junior, when did you discover you couldn't see because
- 12:22Speaker 1: we never knew this. Yeah, they can't even put this
- 12:25Speaker 1: in a contact. I had to get all too thick.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Oh I didn't, I didn't need Yeah, yeah, can I
- 12:35Speaker 1: can I ask you some other?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:38Speaker 7: If you think about your life on a scale of
- 12:40Speaker 7: one to ten, how amazing is your life?
- 12:43Speaker 2: On?
- 12:43Speaker 1: How amazing is about a thirty six?
- 12:50Speaker 4: Because let me tell you something jad scripture that God
- 12:53Speaker 4: would do exceedingly and abundantly over all you can think of.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Ask I'm living who for that?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Man?
- 13:01Speaker 1: I promise you am It is amazing to me what
- 13:07Speaker 1: God has done for me. You know.
- 13:09Speaker 4: The saying that sticks out for me. Justice is when
- 13:12Speaker 4: you get what you deserve. Mercy is when you don't
- 13:16Speaker 4: get what you deserve. But grace is when you get
- 13:20Speaker 4: what you don't deserve. Me and my life is full
- 13:26Speaker 4: of grace because it's no way I've worked really hard
- 13:30Speaker 4: but to get all that I have.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Man, I ain't worked that hard all right, coming up
- 13:40Speaker 6: and a half, we'll hear from the nephews. He runs

- 14:55Speaker 8: we're gonna get a lot of followers and this is
- 14:56Speaker 8: gonna be a big app. So kind of wanted to
- 15:00Speaker 8: see if you would be interested in being a part
- 15:02Speaker 8: of the app and what we got going.
- 15:04Speaker 9: Well, I don't even know who would give you my information?
- 15:09Speaker 1: What is this? I don't I don't know.
- 15:10Speaker 8: I don't know who who's who gave us your number
- 15:13Speaker 8: or whatever, but they just told us you would be
- 15:15Speaker 8: good for being on the on the app tomorrow morning.
- 15:18Speaker 8: Like I said, we're finish go live, So we're trying
- 15:19Speaker 8: to get pictures and videos in today so we can
- 15:23Speaker 8: give them on the tomorrow.
- 15:24Speaker 2: What is this app? What you want some pictures?
- 15:27Speaker 8: Yeah, we see this app is This app is called
- 15:30Speaker 8: Booty Drop, and what we do is people people. Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 8: so what happens is people send a video they dropping
- 15:37Speaker 8: their booty, or you could just send a picture of
- 15:38Speaker 8: your behind however you want to do it. You know
- 15:40Speaker 8: we're gonna make it look real good or whatever. But
- 15:43Speaker 8: you know you're gonna you know, you represent. But this
- 15:45Speaker 8: is the new social media outlet that people are gonna
- 15:47Speaker 8: be communicating with. But this is Booty Drop and we're
- 15:49Speaker 8: getting ready to drop this tomorrow morning. Like I said,
- 15:52Speaker 8: like eleven o'clock tomorrow, it's gonna go. It's gonna go live,
- 15:55Speaker 8: so you'll be able to see yourself on there.
- 15:57Speaker 9: What ain't about Booty Drop?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Uh, y'all, you got me messed up.
- 16:03Speaker 9: I don't drop no booty for nobody but my man Okay.
- 16:06Speaker 9: So I don't know who told you I was gonna
- 16:07Speaker 9: be on here, but I'm not doing no booty dropping.
- 16:10Speaker 8: Okay, so hold up, okay, hold on, hold on, hold
- 16:12Speaker 8: on all right. First of all, somebody recommended you, you know,
- 16:15Speaker 8: like I say, hold on. Now, we got all the
- 16:19Speaker 8: slides field except for this one.
- 16:21Speaker 1: So you know, I don't want to.
- 16:22Speaker 8: I don't want to have our app there, and then
- 16:24Speaker 8: we ain't got everything on that we need, so we
- 16:26Speaker 8: gotta have you to do this.
- 16:28Speaker 9: Look, well, there's a lot of booties. Okay, I'm not
- 16:31Speaker 9: the only one, you know, Thank you. No, ain't gonna
- 16:34Speaker 9: be no booty.
- 16:35Speaker 8: So I'm assuming you know I don't mean no harm
- 16:37Speaker 8: like I say this Kate Doug, I don't mean no harm.
- 16:39Speaker 8: But let me ask you this here. So evidently you
- 16:41Speaker 8: must have a butt that people admire. If you know,
- 16:44Speaker 8: if they put your name on here, then you must
- 16:46Speaker 8: have a butt that they admire.
- 16:48Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 16:48Speaker 8: I'm trying to be as gentleman as possible. You understand
- 16:50Speaker 8: what I'm saying.
- 16:51Speaker 6: Uh?
- 16:52Speaker 1: Is it a reason why you don't want to, you know, participate?
- 16:55Speaker 9: What ain't nobody gonna be putting their booty on the internet.
- 16:58Speaker 3: For some app.
- 17:00Speaker 1: No, no, no, okay, so let me ask you this.
- 17:03Speaker 1: You ain't.
- 17:04Speaker 8: You ain't on none of the other social media outless.
- 17:06Speaker 8: You don't have no pictures on there or nothing like that,
- 17:09Speaker 8: not with my booty. No, So you're just trying to
- 17:12Speaker 8: tell me that all your pictures are from the waist up.
- 17:15Speaker 9: No, they're not all from the waist up. But I'm
- 17:16Speaker 9: not about to be flashing my booty and jiggling it
- 17:19Speaker 9: for your app.
- 17:20Speaker 8: But but, but see, you don't understand what booty drop
- 17:23Speaker 8: can do for you. Booty Drop. Booty Drop can bring
- 17:26Speaker 8: a lot of attention.
- 17:27Speaker 1: You know to you.
- 17:28Speaker 8: You know you're gonna you're gonna meet a lot of
- 17:30Speaker 8: people on this booty Drop app. And that's what that's
- 17:33Speaker 8: what I'm trying to say is I don't want you
- 17:34Speaker 8: to knock it till you tried it. Now, I say,
- 17:37Speaker 8: we put your booty on there for the first week,
- 17:39Speaker 8: and you see how many hits you get, and if
- 17:41Speaker 8: you don't like it, then we take it down.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. Just you know, listen, Kate Doub, let.
- 17:46Speaker 9: Me tell you something. You're not about to put my
- 17:49Speaker 9: booty on no app talking about giving it a week.
- 17:52Speaker 9: You know I got a brain, right, Ain't nobody about
- 17:54Speaker 9: to be looking at my booty for a week on
- 17:56Speaker 9: the internet.
- 17:58Speaker 1: All I'm saying is give your booty a week. That's all.
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm give your booty a week on time.
- 18:02Speaker 2: We good?
- 18:03Speaker 9: No, not putting my booty on no Internet?
- 18:06Speaker 1: So okay, are you insecure about yourself?

- 35:30Speaker 6: trending on social media after a woman it's seeing climbing
- 35:34Speaker 6: out of a ten story window in a high rise. Okay,
- 35:38Speaker 6: the story says that she's a side piece that's trying
- 35:40Speaker 6: to escape when the man's wife comes home unexpectedly. The
- 35:45Speaker 6: side piece is being called a real life superwoman. The
- 35:48Speaker 6: video appears to be legit, so if this is true,
- 35:51Speaker 6: we sure hope the woman made it out of that
- 35:54Speaker 6: window safely. Okay, first of all, but can you believe
- 35:57Speaker 6: that though?
- 35:58Speaker 4: Really that's that's that's just sheer dedication, hands grips able
- 36:05Speaker 4: to just leap tall buildings like that.
- 36:08Speaker 1: That's beautiful like that.
- 36:10Speaker 6: Yeah, but that that was pretty brave of her. Maybe
- 36:14Speaker 6: it would have been safer for her to face the wife.
- 36:17Speaker 4: No no, no, no, no no no, yeah, yeah no,
- 36:24Speaker 4: I can assure you what happened was the reason she
- 36:27Speaker 4: was hang dropping from that tin flowing because she was
- 36:32Speaker 4: back there and she heard the words almost this be
- 36:38Speaker 4: you can walk somewhat out to.
- 36:40Speaker 6: The front, just knowing that the wife is coming through.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Now, she should have held up the wrong rooms. I'm sorry,
- 36:52Speaker 1: excuse me. Something all informed the pest control people that
- 36:55Speaker 1: you are roach free. Excuse me?
- 37:00Speaker 6: Was Sandra Shirlette as she was doing it doesn't say
- 37:04Speaker 6: it doesn't stay coming up at twenty minutes after the hour,
- 37:09Speaker 6: Thank you, guys. Michael Jordan is facing backlash after being
- 37:12Speaker 6: spotted aboard an eighty million dollar yacht. We'll get into
- 37:16Speaker 6: it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:25Speaker 8: Parents, meet Miko Mini plus, the small AI robot that
- 37:28Speaker 8: talks to your kids and turns curiosity into learning.
- 37:31Speaker 6: And the deal is big right now at Costco. It's

- 37:50Speaker 6: And for older kids see Miko three on Miko dot
- 37:53Speaker 6: Ai and Amazon. All right, so, Michael Jordan, the legendary
- 37:58Speaker 6: Michael Jordan is make headlines again for being spotted aboard
- 38:02Speaker 6: an eighty million dollars super yacht, but this time it's
- 38:05Speaker 6: not for a game winning shot. It was described as
- 38:09Speaker 6: a seventy meter vessel that is one of the most
- 38:12Speaker 6: lavish yachts to date. It has five sprawling decks, a
- 38:16Speaker 6: private gym, a basketball court. You know a lot about
- 38:18Speaker 6: these type things. Steed Beach Club, several lounges designed for
- 38:22Speaker 6: comfort in any climate. Michael Jordan is getting a lot
- 38:25Speaker 6: of backlash because large yachts burned thousands of gallons of fuel,
- 38:30Speaker 6: releasing enormous amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Reports
- 38:35Speaker 6: say that he does not own the yacht, but did
- 38:38Speaker 6: charter it for a week or two.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So here's a question.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Should you be ashamed of your success and how you
- 38:45Speaker 6: choose to spend your money?
- 38:47Speaker 2: No?
- 38:48Speaker 1: Good, every right, no, man, he got every right. That
- 38:51Speaker 1: is ridiculous.
- 38:52Speaker 6: He worked for that money. How say it won't It's
- 38:58Speaker 6: a seventy meter vessel, any meter vessel, one of the
- 39:01Speaker 6: most lavish yachts to date, eighty million dollars super yacht
- 39:05Speaker 6: and he rented it for a week.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Yah. You know how many people do that?
- 39:11Speaker 2: You? We know you? You do it magic?
- 39:16Speaker 6: Yeah, because of the the you know, the gas fumes
- 39:21Speaker 6: and all of that.
- 39:23Speaker 1: That's what it is.
- 39:23Speaker 6: The carbon diog to go.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Yeah, being conscious of the atmosphere and you know you
- 39:33Speaker 1: just run off gas and Jones time that boat is
- 39:39Speaker 1: out in seat.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:41Speaker 5: If I got George, I'm just saying, if my logo
- 39:45Speaker 5: is on shoes, I'm on the boat to.
- 39:51Speaker 1: I don't understand. Yeah, what is that logic?
- 39:56Speaker 6: So now you can't live because you're super successful you're billionaires,
- 40:00Speaker 6: so you can't live your life.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And the atmosphere and global warming, that's an issue we have.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Then.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Don't make the boat then, but it's not like he
- 40:11Speaker 1: does it every day.
- 40:15Speaker 4: Don't make the administration that's gotten rid of affirmative action,
- 40:21Speaker 4: teaching black history in schools there that in a minute,
- 40:25Speaker 4: what people are going to be stunned that in just
- 40:27Speaker 4: a short minute, they've getting rid of the Affordable Care Act,
- 40:31Speaker 4: they're going to kill Medicaid. And y'all, if you're talking
- 40:35Speaker 4: about this one boat, how much steam is shooting of man?
- 40:39Speaker 4: Y'all need to find something else to do.
- 40:42Speaker 6: I know, I know, crazy, Yeah, I mean, so what's
- 40:49Speaker 6: he supposed to do with all this money? I mean,
- 40:51Speaker 6: how is he supposed to He's supposed to get an electric.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I guess boat with Michael too here, and I know
- 41:03Speaker 1: he smokes to God. So we're gonna put that in
- 41:05Speaker 1: the air too.
- 41:10Speaker 6: Coming up at thirty four minutes after, Roscoe Wallace in
- 41:13Speaker 6: the building. Right after this, you're listening the stream Hardy
- 41:19Speaker 6: Morning Show. All right, Carla, your buddy Roscoe is in
- 41:27Speaker 6: the building.
- 41:29Speaker 4: Yes, rock right here you are the ones that they
- 41:33Speaker 4: were having me and the wall to say, oh so
- 41:36Speaker 4: to the hater, then don't want me on the radio
- 41:41Speaker 4: no more?
- 41:41Speaker 1: Well, here, men, I get up about what you were like,
- 41:47Speaker 1: what's going on? What's going on with your buddy? Hey, Roscoe?
- 41:53Speaker 1: What's going on? Call age? Julian likely glads, Thank you, Roscoe.
- 41:57Speaker 1: Appreciate you mane. You know you don't want to know
- 41:59Speaker 1: late you look like you're smart and when you're shooting,
- 42:05Speaker 1: vote yes, sir. Okay, all right, Roscoe. Let's get to
- 42:10Speaker 1: it today. It's December fifth, twenty days until Christmas.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Pay Old Missile told, I'm gonna let you know it's bed.
- 42:25Speaker 7: What happened.
- 42:28Speaker 4: Dad, Chrisma? The riots have been blazing brides and new
- 42:39Speaker 4: white folks. Is Carolyne tonight?
- 42:46Speaker 1: If you Missles, then be everybody in missess.
- 42:56Speaker 4: From me?
- 43:03Speaker 1: I wrote that original right there.
- 43:04Speaker 4: I gave it half away and he couldn't understand nothing
- 43:08Speaker 4: I said. And then he came out and next thing
- 43:11Speaker 4: I know, he was talking about this Christmas.
- 43:15Speaker 1: You wrote all that from you?
- 43:16Speaker 4: Him now is still I gave it to him, but
- 43:19Speaker 4: the name of the song with you did you, miss Rus?
- 43:22Speaker 4: And he thought, I said, this is Christmas? And then
- 43:26Speaker 4: that would happened now how the song was.
- 43:28Speaker 1: Oh God, okay hitting my mind whooloo loo nah come
- 43:46Speaker 1: on o nah okay, come.
- 43:59Speaker 6: Right, the hardness.

- 44:27Speaker 4: black and mind. You have changed so many leagues around
- 44:29Speaker 4: because you know people touching back in the day. Oh
- 44:32Speaker 4: I'm just going on there, ah Ben dream and over
- 44:39Speaker 4: black Christmass, just like the ones they do on Friday
- 44:51Speaker 4: Day Friday. Well see, I was dreaming of a black Christmas,

- 45:01Speaker 4: It ain't can't nothing to be black man.
- 45:03Speaker 1: White Christmas.

- 50:30Speaker 3: Saying how you got my numbers, the.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Bottom of it is your your baptizing ain't doing nothing.
- 50:37Speaker 2: My kids will still graves bad, they still well, you
- 50:41Speaker 2: know you're that why they haven't become to church.
- 50:43Speaker 3: You say you're not going to any congregation. Maybe you

- 50:48Speaker 3: or some sermons.
- 50:49Speaker 2: You know.
- 50:49Speaker 3: I even work with your one on one, but I

- 50:57Speaker 3: and and and and overalls you.
- 51:00Speaker 2: When you have baptized, damn, I should see a change
- 51:03Speaker 2: in them, and I don't see a change. But all
- 51:06Speaker 2: the plad I was going to your church, I'm paying
- 51:08Speaker 2: for these tithes. Well then I'm not getting any Hey man,

- 51:38Speaker 2: and I get my kids baptized, and hide is gonna.
- 51:41Speaker 3: Have nothing to do with the baptisms.

- 52:14Speaker 2: can't cut your out.
- 52:16Speaker 3: You understand that.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Brother.
- 52:17Speaker 3: If it's something you need to deal with, you need
- 52:18Speaker 3: to talk to people at the church.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Why do I need to talk to brother doc when
- 52:22Speaker 2: I'm talking to that, I do not need to the

- 52:27Speaker 3: I'm the problem.
- 52:28Speaker 2: I just got a bunch of tide money and I

- 53:10Speaker 3: service on Sunday. I will sit with you as long
- 53:12Speaker 3: as I can. I truly, I truly think counseling and
- 53:15Speaker 3: talk is the only way out of it. We should
- 53:18Speaker 3: not be fighting on this phone. Yes, now, once again,
- 53:22Speaker 3: I hope you accept my apology for my language.
- 53:25Speaker 2: Now, now can I ask you something?
- 53:28Speaker 3: Go ahead, son, I can hear you, okay.
- 53:30Speaker 2: Brother Dobbs tells me that you and him are together,

- 56:44Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 56:45Speaker 6: A few subject one undercover and end it up under
- 56:48Speaker 6: the covers here. Stephen Shirley, one of my sister's best friends,
- 56:53Speaker 6: has been dating a man for ten years and he
- 56:56Speaker 6: hasn't proposed to her yet, but he's cheated on her
- 56:59Speaker 6: several times. He swore that he would never cheat on
- 57:02Speaker 6: her again, and he joined her church to gain her
- 57:04Speaker 6: trust back so she wouldn't leave him. She's still with him,
- 57:08Speaker 6: and she started to suspect he was cheating again after
- 57:11Speaker 6: he turned his phone off her few times while he
- 57:14Speaker 6: was out at night. My sister had a brilliant idea
- 57:18Speaker 6: that was supposed to help her friend out. They decided
- 57:21Speaker 6: that since her boyfriend didn't know me, I would start
- 57:24Speaker 6: popping up at the club he always goes to and
- 57:27Speaker 6: I would flirt with him. I put on a short
- 57:29Speaker 6: wig and I put on more makeup than I usually wear,
- 57:32Speaker 6: just to make sure he did not suspect anything. I
- 57:35Speaker 6: had done this before for my sister, but her boyfriend
- 57:38Speaker 6: got suspicious because my sister and I look a lot alike.
- 57:41Speaker 6: He ended up dumping my sister because she was playing
- 57:44Speaker 6: games with him. But this new guy was different. He
- 57:48Speaker 6: had never seen me before. So we danced, drank, and
- 57:51Speaker 6: even kissed in the club. One of my friends was
- 57:54Speaker 6: there getting video of everything. The more drinks I had,
- 57:58Speaker 6: the more his body felt so good against mine. He
- 58:02Speaker 6: leaned into me once again and kissed my neck. I
- 58:05Speaker 6: was ready to go home with him. I couldn't fight
- 58:07Speaker 6: the feeling, and it had been a while since I
- 58:10Speaker 6: had been touched that way. I ended up under the
- 58:13Speaker 6: covers with this man, and it was the best experience
- 58:16Speaker 6: of my life. I went back for a few more
- 58:19Speaker 6: times before I reported back to my sister and her friend.
- 58:23Speaker 6: My sister is mad at me, and so is her friend.
- 58:26Speaker 6: I did what I was supposed to do. How can
- 58:28Speaker 6: they be upset when I when I did what was
- 58:31Speaker 6: asked of me. Yeah, yeah, okay, they asked you to
- 58:35Speaker 6: do it. It was crazy, But you know you're wrong
- 58:37Speaker 6: for this. Let me say you guys are all wrong.
- 58:41Speaker 6: All of you all are wrong for this. It's crazy.
- 58:44Speaker 6: This is not a brilliant plan to find out if
- 58:47Speaker 6: he were cheating. If he was cheating, and are you
- 58:50Speaker 6: really trying to get Steve and I to believe that
- 58:53Speaker 6: she actually wanted you to sleep with her man. Come
- 58:56Speaker 6: on this, you're not that stupid. I mean, yes, was
- 59:00Speaker 6: stupid to begin with, but you didn't have to go
- 59:03Speaker 6: to this extreme to find out if her man was cheating.
- 59:06Speaker 6: She knew, She's been through this ten years of her life.
- 59:10Speaker 6: All of this foolishness, I mean, what more did she need?
- 59:13Speaker 6: All the cheating signs were there, just like before he
- 59:15Speaker 6: went out at night, he was turning his phone off. Okay,
- 59:18Speaker 6: that was her proof from before. You didn't have to
- 59:22Speaker 6: go this far, and you went back for seconds, you
- 59:25Speaker 6: went back for third, you went back for a lot.
- 59:27Speaker 6: You did this because you wanted to, not because you
- 59:30Speaker 6: were trying to spy and help them out. You got
- 59:32Speaker 6: caught up and gave him some period. That's what you did.
- 59:36Speaker 6: I'm glad you're not my friend, and your sister and
- 59:38Speaker 6: her friend need to stop playing these stupid games. After
- 59:42Speaker 6: ten years of this, He's not going to change anyway.
- 59:45Speaker 6: He's not trying to Steve.
- 59:47Speaker 1: This is the dumbest, This just dumb MONDI. You know,
- 59:55Speaker 1: is this a movie? Is this more just a car too?
- 59:59Speaker 2: What?
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: How does happening? Who do this.
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: Man?
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: So you went under cover and he ended up under
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: the coach.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: So you know, your friend got this man who's been
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: dating this woman for ten years and he ain't proposed
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: to it yet because he didn't cheated on a bunch
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: of times, and you know she was gonna leave him,
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: and then he joined the church just to gain her
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: trust back so she wouldn't leave him.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: And she's still with him.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: But then she suspected that he was cheating again after
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: he turned his phone off a few times while he
- 1:00:38Speaker 4: was out at night. Then you say, your sister had
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: a brilliant idea. See, now this is what it let
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: us starts to take a turn. We're listening to this
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: person described an idea as brilliant.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: But after you go through this letter, it ain't a
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: brilliant fault in this letter. Nowhere.
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: It is not one brilliant line in this whole letter,
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: and it ain't no brilliant people in it.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: So here we go.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: My sister had a brilliant idea that was supposed to
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: help her friend out. See right there, All of a sudden,
- 1:01:20Speaker 4: the brilliance has lost this luster because right after she said,
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: my sister had a brilliant idea that was supposed to
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: help her friend out. Right there, See how the word
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: brilliant lost this luster with that one line. It was
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: supposed to help her friend out. See, if you have
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: a brilliant idea, you would have this with her line
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: would have said, my sister had a brilliant idea that
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: helped her friend out.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: That would have been a brilliant idea.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: You don't say my sister had a brilliant idea that
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: was supposed to help her friend out.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: See right there, It just ain't no luster on this brilliant.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: They decided, since a boyfriend didn't know me, I would
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: start popping up at the club that he go to,
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: and you was gonna flirt with him.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: That was the idea, flirt with him.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: I put on a short, we put on more makeup
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: that I usually wear to make sure he didn't suspect nothing.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Because check this out, because I had done this before
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: for my sister, so she done had this brilliant I
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: did twice. So I had done this before for my sister,
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: but her boyfriend got suspicious because my sister and I
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: look a lot of like, what.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Woo?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: How many brilliant people in this letter right here? I
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: can't come him.
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: I lost count. It's so many brilliant people. When we
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: come back, I'm gonna just tell you the truth, lady,
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: and you're not gonna like it.
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: All right, Steve, we're gonna have part two of your
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: response coming up at twenty three minute after the hour.
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: Today's Strawberry Letter subjects went undercover and ended up under
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: the covers. All right, we'll get back into that right
- 1:03:09Speaker 6: after this. You're listening Save Harvey Morning Show. Around the holidays,
- 1:03:19Speaker 6: it's hard to find the right gifts, but you know,
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: it's even harder getting the right gift. But get this,
- 1:03:25Speaker 6: Verizon's got the perfect solve for both. They have incredible
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: gift bundles. You get the latest phone with a new
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: line on my plan and a brand new smartwatch and tablet,
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: no trade in needed. You can give a couple away
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: and get yourself one two, or you could keep them
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: all to yourself. No one has to know. Stop by
- 1:03:45Speaker 6: your local Verizon. All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: today's Strawberry Letter. The subject is went undercover and ended
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: up under the covers.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Yeah, this lady right here, her sister got a friend.
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Been dating this man ten years and hadn't proposed to
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: it yet because he'd been cheating on her several times.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: So he decided to prove his loyalty to the girl
- 1:04:07Speaker 4: he would join her church. So it joined her church,
- 1:04:09Speaker 4: and she thought she had something. And then she started
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: suspecting that he might be cheating because they go out
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: at night.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: He turned his.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: Phone off a couple of times. So her sister, this
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: was her words right here, had a brilliant idea that
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: was supposed to help her friend out. Now we've already
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: discussed in the last go round how brilliant this idea
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: wasn't because it lost this luster right after she said
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: had a brilliant idea because it was supposed to help
- 1:04:37Speaker 4: her friend out. See, the letter should have said my
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: sister had a brilliant idea that helped her friend out.
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: Then that idea would have been a brilliant. But there's
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: nothing brilliant about this idea at all. They decided, says,
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: her boyfriend didn't know me that I was going to
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: dress up go to the same club he had on
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: put on a short wig and extra makeup, and he
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: wouldn't recognize me, and they wanted me and him her
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: to flirt with him. Then she said, because I had
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: done this before for my sister. Uh oh, so this's
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: the same sister. They'd be coming up with these brilliant ideas.
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: She'd have had this her second time, that you'd have
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: done this before. And the brilliant idea didn't work the
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: first time because her boyfriend got suspicious because y'all looked
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: so much alike and ended up dumping your sister because
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: she was playing games with him. So how does she
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: have the same brilliant idea a second time that didn't
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: even work the first time. That's the law of insanity
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: if you keep doing the same thing expecting a different results.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Did you crazy? All?
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: Here we go, But this new guy was different. He
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: hadn't seen me before. So we danced, We drank, and
- 1:05:53Speaker 4: kissed in the club. One of my friends was there
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: getting video everything. Wait a minute, so y'all video on
- 1:06:02Speaker 4: this too. The more drinks I had, the more his
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: body felt so good against mine. He leaned to me
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: once again and kissed my neck right there. Video should
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: have been over. We got the evidence. I go back
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: to my sister. That would have been all the evidence
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: you need. She just said, go and flirt with him.
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: He kissing you on the neck, that's video, that's ground.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: That's cheating.
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: That's what that is to a woman, all right. I
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: was ready to go home with him. I couldn't fight
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: the feeling. It had been a while since I had
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: been touched that way. Put did y'all send into the club?
- 1:06:46Speaker 4: Y'all since the wrong for y'all hot to trot? Y'all
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: gonna sit the little thought over there in the club,
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: and now she just in here just doing the most.
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: I ended up under the covers with this man. And
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: that was the best experience of my life. That's why
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: he cheaked, because he good he got, He got spread
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: this round. I went back for a few more times
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: before I reported back to my sister and her friend.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: My sister mad in me, and so as her friend.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: I did what I was supposed to do. How can
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: they be upset when I did what I was asking me?
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Ain'tybody asked you.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: To do all that?
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: She understood the assignment.
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: You failed on the mission when when he kissed your
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: neck at the club and your film was video friend
- 1:07:36Speaker 4: was video on it.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: That was it right there?
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: To gee, But you done went in there and you
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: done got tuned up three four times. Now here's the
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: conclusion I've come to with this letter. Okay, your sister
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: and her friend, they have got to get a new
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: test dummy. They have got hit a new test dummy.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: I'm telling you, man, you are exactly that. You a
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: test dummy. Literally, How you gonna who get a dummy
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: to go in and take a test for it?
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Who do that? You know how many people I.
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: Paid to take tests for me in my life there,
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: I always get the smartest person I can find. When
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: I was buying tests, I would buy people who knew
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: how to get the right test. Who sends a dummy
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: in to take a test for him? Y'all need a
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: new test dummy, because this dummy right here is in
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: there taking too much test. She tested everything, she tested, drinks, dancing,
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: neck kissing.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Let me go to the house. It's the best I
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: ever had. Just to make show.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: I went back over there a few more times to
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: make sure it was to say, ain't man that was
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: doing these.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Things to me?
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: And Lord have mercy. Nah, I'm ready to report back
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: to my sister and her friend. And then she want
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: to know how can they be upset when I did
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: what I was asked over. Lady, you're gonna be single
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: the rest of your life. You can't be this stupid.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: Here's the thing that I've discovered in this letter. A
- 1:09:34Speaker 4: test dummy really can be a dummy, just man, Thank
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: you for.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: That art all right?
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: And I thought you just strapped them in cars to
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: run test on a collision, but no, you can actually
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: send them in the club on missions.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: I didn't know today.

- 1:11:53Speaker 4: know what air and mad somebody. I'm gonna go with
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: the Ravens. Raven Saints, Bucketeers piping, Buccaneers baby Saints don't
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: stand the chairs hanging that tash?
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Another another situation, who that coach?
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: Jaguars pippin Jaguar Shaka, Titans brown pipping.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Oh, let me explain something to you, Titans.
- 1:12:20Speaker 4: If the Browns don't beat the Titans, I'm gonna wear
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: what this is?
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: How much.
- 1:12:31Speaker 4: I'm gonna quit pipping for a week if the If
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: the Browns don't beat the Titans, I'm wearing.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: A black suit to work, a regular suit. Kinda kill me.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: Man, Commanders, Seahawks, Falcons, Oh, Seahawks, Bingals, Bills pipping.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Come on, Bills, please please.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: Please, Broncos Raiders pippot, Broncos Bears, Packer's pipping, Bears, Bears
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: gonna stumbleed come through Chicago.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: To me.
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: Huh?
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: Rams, Cardinals, Oh, don't nobody care.
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: Let's see Rams, here we go, Texans, Chiefs come on, now,
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: you know what? Man?
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I want to give y'all credit? Where credit did it do?
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: Y'all have had some surprises the Chiefs are certainly not
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: what they used to be.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: But you know what, man, just cause I'm the player
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that I am.
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: Yeah, Texans, why I know they ain't gonna win.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna laughing so hard this week.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: All right, thank you you and your thank you pimping
- 1:13:52Speaker 6: coming up at the top of the hour of wife
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: thinks her marriage would be better if they had a
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: bigger house. We'll get into it right after this. You're
- 1:14:00Speaker 6: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So
- 1:14:07Speaker 6: this is from Deanna in Knoxville. Dianna says, I think
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: my marriage would be better if my husband and I
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: moved to a bigger home. He's always inviting people to
- 1:14:16Speaker 6: stay with us, and we always have to put our
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: son on the sleeper sofa in the living room. It's
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: not fair to him to sleep on the couch and
- 1:14:23Speaker 6: have to share his bathroom every holiday. We were beefing
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: over Thanksgiving because we're busting at the themes in this house.
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: How do I tell him not to invite any guests
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: for Christmas without causing a war in our home?
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Well, you can't have a tiny house. It has to
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: help me and be busting at the scene.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I ain't never seen that, and I watched a
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: tiny house show several times.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Never see him have company. You can't have people over.
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: She didn't say it was a tiny house.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: But now they got to stay out in the yard. Well,
- 1:14:58Speaker 4: how big is this family, the couple and the boy.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: We know about? Yeah, yeah, that's I mean, I mean,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: I mean its sides wild? How big they be? Oh,
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: we don't know.
- 1:15:10Speaker 6: How do y'all know that's in there?
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: And what is that?
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: When you hear when you hear busting at the scene,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: that means something. Yeah, maybe the house is.
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: Usually small for the amount of people of the company
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: coming in and out.
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: It's a person busting at the thing called I'm probably knows.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Just move shifting in now?
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Yes, what some flowboards? You know you can hear them
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: coming up the hallway and you got a lot of
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: weight on you.
- 1:15:38Speaker 8: You're gonna have some loose slow boards and that and
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: that tilet That toilet can't take the three of them
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: like it's been doing.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: It can't.
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: Oh did you guys get that out?
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: You got to sit down on that toilet easy because
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: they shift them screws. Said the boy had his own
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: bathroom because.
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: You know how personal and toilet is bolted to the
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: float two boat in the back, one of the little boats,
- 1:16:02Speaker 4: and crack.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: What they have to do with the size of you big?
- 1:16:10Speaker 7: Would you put out a sofa bed? That boy big,
- 1:16:14Speaker 7: not no regular bed, a sofa bed.
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: He's got to sleep somewhere the way. You know they big.
- 1:16:20Speaker 4: If you've had to move your toilet tissue roll to
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: directly in front of the toilet, there some big people
- 1:16:26Speaker 4: in there, people, Because if you're real big and you
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: try to reach around on the side, it ain't enough
- 1:16:31Speaker 4: room to get your hand between the toilet and.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: The sink in front. What does that have to do
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: with this? Because I have been over fat people's house before.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: They do me too. Little fat things that fat people do.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: What what's a bigger house for y'all? That's it?
- 1:16:51Speaker 6: Buy this woman a bigger house. Okay, that's basically all
- 1:16:55Speaker 6: it is.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: That's right. She needs more room, more space.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: And why because he keeps inviting people over and it
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: puts their son out.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: The guests are big too. I'll tell you one thing.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: That refrigerator all way full though.
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: There.
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: That's another sign that you had a fat person house.
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: That refrigerator.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: It don't ever be it's a lot of heavy breathing
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: in that too. Will y'all give her advice on how
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: to get a bigger house?
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: What?
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: They don't have any steps everything? Big people don't buy
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: double death the houses they buy. Ranchers got a nice flat.
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: Wow, Well Christmas is coming up, but we know they
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: won't have a new house by Christmas.
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: Well, they're gonna need some by trailer Holmes too, because
- 1:17:58Speaker 4: when you're big and and you got to have a
- 1:18:01Speaker 4: trailer home. Because Quinna, when y'all spend a lot of
- 1:18:04Speaker 4: time in the bedroom, it shifts the earth up on you.
- 1:18:08Speaker 4: You gotta be able to pull it up onto another location.
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: What are double wide.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Foundation. I've been around fat people all my life. I know,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: I know all.
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: Her question is how do I tell him not to
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: invite any guests for Chris Christmas without causing a war
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: in our home? That's her question.
- 1:18:30Speaker 4: You know that that'll be the quick feeding them. That's
- 1:18:33Speaker 4: that's the best way to keep fat people at your house.
- 1:18:36Speaker 6: That's it coming up a twenty minutes after we will
- 1:18:40Speaker 6: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: Don't serve nothing for TV dinners. Everything is in that
- 1:18:46Speaker 4: trade compartment like that.

- 1:19:55Speaker 2: My daddy was so.
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: All she did was she made some strawberry yellow and
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: she put some cranberries in it.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: That was real tangy. My poor comfort food though, is
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: a cheese purpose. I had one yesterday. What did you
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: put it? What did you have on it? Tell us?

- 1:23:22Speaker 6: You can't do that.
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: Now you can ride me all over there. It's gonna
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: get cold in that. Get in that car with my
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: hold in there. All right, I'm gonna roll the window
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: down and hang my head out anywhere, so like a dog.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:23:42Speaker 6: Would you rather hot coffee with Irish cream? Or would
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: you rather hot tea with bourbon? That ain't gonna taste
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: hot coffee.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: We ain't never had a hot it's a long not
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: trying to put my mind on the Irish scream. I'm
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: trying to wrap my mind around up. I don't drink Bailey.

- 1:24:13Speaker 4: shot of Bailey's.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Top of it.
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah, that sounds good. Yeah, that sounds good.

- 1:25:23Speaker 6: giving holiday harmony. Here we are, guys, our last break
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: of the day. And it's been a good day. It's
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: been a good day.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: Why not? Yeah, Hey, you know what, I had to
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: come to the realization.
- 1:25:36Speaker 4: Kind of want to share this with people, but you know,
- 1:25:42Speaker 4: I want to talk about there's a cost. There is
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: a cost. You know, when you make the decision to
- 1:25:53Speaker 4: be successful comes with a cost. And as much as
- 1:25:59Speaker 4: I've tried to negate the cost, as much as I've
- 1:26:03Speaker 4: tried to alleviate the cost, as much as I've oftentimes
- 1:26:08Speaker 4: just tried to.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Not talk up the cost, the cost is real. You know,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: I got in trouble not really trouble.
- 1:26:17Speaker 4: But I got a bunch of haters that came online
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: one time when they saw me give a speech about
- 1:26:22Speaker 4: if you want to be successful, really really successful as something,
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: you can't sleep eight hours. And I believe that, you know,
- 1:26:31Speaker 4: somebody counted it with Oprah says she gets eight hours sleep.
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: Well.
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: Oprah's wealthy, though, but if you go back on her
- 1:26:40Speaker 4: journey and asked her when she was hustling trying to
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: make it, what she getting eight I don't think the
- 1:26:47Speaker 4: answer would be yes. Everybody I know that's grinding, that's
- 1:26:55Speaker 4: in the hustle, trying to really really have more than normal.
- 1:27:02Speaker 4: If you want above average, it comes at a cost.
- 1:27:08Speaker 4: And I've tried not to talk about it because I
- 1:27:11Speaker 4: don't want to, you know, knock anybody down about it.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: But man, there's a cost for everything. And you know,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: I know a lot of.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: Successful people who have health issues. I've had my share
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: of myself. Tommy can tell you about his, Junior can
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: tell you about his, All of us can tell you
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: about health issues. It's sometimes, you know, it just it's
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: a part of it. I don't know how to explain it.
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: You don't want to sacrifice one for the other. But
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: sometimes it's unavoidable because there is a cost, and a
- 1:27:49Speaker 4: lot of times you end up sometimes you have health
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: issues because you just don't know any better, you know,
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: And that's why knowledge is so important, because when you
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: know better, you can do better. And had I known
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: a long long time ago that everything I put into
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: my body was gonna have an effect on me, I
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: would have made some changes a long long time ago.
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: I just really started understanding this in the last fifteen
- 1:28:13Speaker 4: twenty years of my life. You know, the how important
- 1:28:17Speaker 4: eating the right thing is, how important it is to
- 1:28:20Speaker 4: take supplements, how important it is to take regular visits
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: to your doctor. And as black men, I'm talking especially
- 1:28:27Speaker 4: to black men, we find it so hard to go
- 1:28:30Speaker 4: to these doctors. I got a partner right now, man
- 1:28:34Speaker 4: that's trying to get out the hospital right now because
- 1:28:37Speaker 4: he ain't been to the doctor in eight years. But
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: he's seventy and he ain't been to the doctor in
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: eight years. We can't do that because we've been grinding.
- 1:28:49Speaker 4: And I understood something about grinding recently. When you're grinding,
- 1:28:52Speaker 4: grinding means actually to wear down. But in order to
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: have something, you got to get in the wear down process,
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: and the thing you end up wearing down is your body. Now,
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: I'm not saying you should exchange your health for wealth.
- 1:29:05Speaker 4: I wish that wasn't the cost, but oftentimes that's the
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: cost factor, and people who don't want it you don't
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: have to do it. But then there's a cost with
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: being poor. To see, there's a cost factor when you
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: decide not to be anything. It's a cost factor when
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: you decide I'm just gonna ride it out, I'm just
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: gonna mail it in. There's a cost factor for that.
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: I notice when old people who've been working their whole
- 1:29:32Speaker 4: life finally retire and they don't and they to stop
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: being active. I watch them wear down, dissipate, just wither
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: away because that work, that thing called the grind of
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: getting up going to work every day. It gave them
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: something to live for, it gave them something to do,
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: It made them active. It's just a cost, man. But
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: you have to decide which one of the costs you
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: want to pay. Do you want to pay the cost
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: of beings successful or do you want to be the
- 1:30:02Speaker 4: cost you want to pay the cost of being poor. Now,
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: when I say poor, I mean really poor, I don't
- 1:30:07Speaker 4: mean like if you make a hundred thousand dollars, I
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: ain't talking about like that. You're doing great, man, your
- 1:30:11Speaker 4: life is good. I think people are that that make
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: one hundred thousand dollars doing fine with your life. That's
- 1:30:15Speaker 4: not what I'm saying, so please don't misunderstand me. I'm
- 1:30:19Speaker 4: talking about when you don't have enough to eat, you
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: can't put a roof over your family's head, you can't
- 1:30:27Speaker 4: get them to the store, and then you got to
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: do more. Man, you got to do more. But it's
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: a cost for it, one way or the other. I suggest, though,
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: if I look back on it all, you have to
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: find a way to create a balance. But the balance
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: ain't gonna be even even. It's just gotta be. You
- 1:30:50Speaker 4: got to grind, you got to rest. You got to grind,
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: You got to rest. You got to grind, you got
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: to rest.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: If you just.
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: Grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, grind, then
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: try to rest, the cost factor's gonna be greater. So
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: find the balance for yourself. I can't tell anybody what
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: that is, but there is a cost to being successful,
- 1:31:15Speaker 4: but there is a cost to not being successful, and
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: you have to decide which one of.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: The costs you have to pay. Now that's just real talk.
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: You can say it ain't so, but yes, it is
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: not being able to provide for your family. That's a
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: cost being able to provide for your family. There is
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: a cost. You have to decide which cost you're willing
- 1:31:37Speaker 4: to pay and then find a balance in there. That's
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: what I had to discover. So those are my closees remarks.
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: That's it for today. Hey, listen, y'all, have a great day.
