- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join joining you doing me. You gotta turn hur
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn got to
- 1:44Speaker 1: turn them out. Then turn the water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your fat it. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey oh Man
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man got a radio show, and
- 2:13Speaker 1: a whole lot more to man. God is good to me.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have no other explanation, if I have no other
- 2:20Speaker 1: explanation of my existence and where I stand in this
- 2:24Speaker 1: thing called life, except if it was not for the
- 2:27Speaker 1: goodness of God Almighty. If it was not for His
- 2:30Speaker 1: grace and his mercy, There's no way I could exist
- 2:35Speaker 1: the way that I do. I would not be who
- 2:37Speaker 1: I am or where I am. I am who I
- 2:40Speaker 1: am and where I am simply because God is who
- 2:46Speaker 1: he is. If it was not for God, I would
- 2:50Speaker 1: have no testimony for you, because I would have failed
- 2:53Speaker 1: every single test plain, pure and simple. I consit here
- 2:59Speaker 1: to day until you flat out that it is purely
- 3:05Speaker 1: because of God's grace and mercy that I exist today
- 3:09Speaker 1: because of His favor. See now, He shows us favor
- 3:13Speaker 1: in life because of a combination of things I've discovered.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And this is not the whole answer to life. I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can assure you as not. But this is a combination
- 3:24Speaker 1: that I've grown to understand better and better, and I
- 3:28Speaker 1: wish I had gotten it earlier in my life. But
- 3:31Speaker 1: here it is. If you take faith and you combine
- 3:39Speaker 1: it with an incredible work ethic, then God has the
- 3:49Speaker 1: greatest opportunities to show you favor. One more time. If
- 3:56Speaker 1: you take faith. I said faith because in the Scripture
- 4:01Speaker 1: it says you can have the faith of a musticy,
- 4:04Speaker 1: the smallest of all sees. If you take faith and
- 4:08Speaker 1: you combine it with an incredible work ethic, it allows
- 4:13Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. That's
- 4:19Speaker 1: the best way I can explain success to you from
- 4:22Speaker 1: my standpoint. It is the combination of faith and work
- 4:28Speaker 1: that produces the most opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 4:33Speaker 1: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So
- 4:39Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
- 4:43Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:47Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:51Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:56Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith in tact through
- 5:00Speaker 1: it all, and you produced an incredible work ethic that
- 5:06Speaker 1: allows the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See,
- 5:12Speaker 1: without that what you want God to do? See, you
- 5:15Speaker 1: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:25Speaker 1: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing, or don't feel like doing,
- 5:34Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:37Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:40Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:44Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:47Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:51Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:53Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:56Speaker 1: apply the faith. And see the reason you don't know
- 5:59Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 6:03Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 6:06Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 6:11Speaker 1: faith is. Look, man, it's easy to believe in something
- 6:15Speaker 1: you can see. That's it. Ain't ain't nothing? What? What
- 6:19Speaker 1: what that take? You know? You're standing that Let me
- 6:23Speaker 1: give you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with with
- 6:25Speaker 1: a walk sign on it and the sign flashing on
- 6:28Speaker 1: the corner. Don't walk then that the signs say walk.
- 6:34Speaker 1: What do you think your chances are making it across
- 6:37Speaker 1: that street? Is well pretty good because guess what the
- 6:41Speaker 1: signs say walk. You can see the other side. There's
- 6:45Speaker 1: other people in the crosswalk walking, So guess what. You
- 6:48Speaker 1: strike out blindly? It don't take a lot of faith
- 6:51Speaker 1: to get across that street. That's that's That's not why
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm talking to you about. I'm talking about the faith,
- 6:58Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see, the faith
- 7:02Speaker 1: that what I'm doing today, I believe in my heart
- 7:07Speaker 1: of heart that God wouldn't bring me this far to
- 7:10Speaker 1: leave me. That God is a true and living God,
- 7:12Speaker 1: that he keeps his promises, that later on there's things
- 7:15Speaker 1: that I'm working towards right now, gonna pay off later on. See,
- 7:19Speaker 1: too many people want to reward right now. They want
- 7:22Speaker 1: to go to work Friday. Get to check Saturday. You know,
- 7:25Speaker 1: we want to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Get to
- 7:28Speaker 1: check Friday. If somebody come to you and say, hey, man,
- 7:32Speaker 1: if you do this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, then
- 7:36Speaker 1: you do this Saturday, and come back and do this Monday,
- 7:38Speaker 1: Thusday Friday in the long runny to pay off. And
- 7:41Speaker 1: you say, man, I ain't gonna do all that. See,
- 7:44Speaker 1: that's not the exhibition of faith. If it's the right
- 7:48Speaker 1: thing to do, if it's a good thing to do,
- 7:53Speaker 1: if it's a just thing to do. See, if it's
- 7:56Speaker 1: sin in it, it ain't God. Ain't. Just clear on
- 7:59Speaker 1: up right. You can stop all the wandering. If that's
- 8:02Speaker 1: his voice talking to you, If it's the right thing
- 8:05Speaker 1: to do, If it's sin in it, it's not God
- 8:09Speaker 1: talking to you, kill it you you you can shut
- 8:13Speaker 1: it down. You ain't got to wonder about it. Go
- 8:15Speaker 1: down there in secret venge that ain't God. Go tell
- 8:18Speaker 1: him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's God's sin in it is not God's voice telling
- 8:24Speaker 1: you to do it, so you can you can kill
- 8:25Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
- 8:29Speaker 1: you align yourself up, man, and you and what you're
- 8:31Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
- 8:35Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 8:39Speaker 1: And see, here's here's here's the best way I can
- 8:43Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 8:48Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 8:51Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal or vision for yourself.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You know where you want to get to. You gotta
- 8:59Speaker 1: gotta go the idea, and you own your way to
- 9:02Speaker 1: going there. Listen to me when it gets hard, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: it is going to get hard, when it gets difficult,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and it is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging,
- 9:13Speaker 1: and it is going to become challenging, when it becomes
- 9:17Speaker 1: all three of those things. When it don't look like
- 9:20Speaker 1: it's gonna happen, listen to me. Don't stop and complain
- 9:25Speaker 1: so much. But see, I know he didn't bless me.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But in the middle of it, man, I felt a
- 9:31Speaker 1: little heavy, and you got to be careful when it
- 9:34Speaker 1: gets hard for you, because you'll find yourself complaining. And
- 9:37Speaker 1: when you're complaining, See, what you can't do is you
- 9:41Speaker 1: can't complain so much that you forget that the place
- 9:46Speaker 1: that you're trying to go to, you actually own your
- 9:49Speaker 1: way there still. See, don't get caught up into complaining
- 9:54Speaker 1: and then lose sight of your blessing that's actually happening
- 9:56Speaker 1: it to you? What really, man, of all the times
- 10:01Speaker 1: to register a complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I didn't want wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Ease back in, man, you in It's it's a tornado
- 10:11Speaker 1: world around you. You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You got it going, and jump back in it. It
- 10:16Speaker 1: is what it is. To whom much is given, much
- 10:19Speaker 1: is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught
- 10:23Speaker 1: up into complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man,
- 10:25Speaker 1: God got a lot for you in your life, man,
- 10:28Speaker 1: but you gotta have them Two things, y'all. You gotta
- 10:30Speaker 1: take that faith and you got to apply a crazy
- 10:34Speaker 1: work ethic to it. And that creates the most opportunities
- 10:39Speaker 1: for God to show your favor. And when God starts
- 10:42Speaker 1: showing your favor, man, all of them seeds you plant,
- 10:45Speaker 1: all of that, all of that wheat you've been sewing,
- 10:48Speaker 1: all of that hard work you've been put in God
- 10:51Speaker 1: to pay it off, and he'll pay it off in
- 10:53Speaker 1: ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I was born the changement. Oh you're supposed to finish that, man,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Come on, at least give us a by the river.
- 11:14Speaker 1: At least the old Jaya by the river. Who That's
- 11:22Speaker 1: all I'm gonna do. That was good enough for me
- 11:25Speaker 1: because I was born by Rivers Creek down our backyard
- 11:28Speaker 1: is worth for us, Virginia about you don't let us shock?
- 11:34Speaker 1: WHOA just lied the river? Run that morty Shirley, you
- 11:40Speaker 1: just stopped. Can't keep up. That's how I want to
- 11:44Speaker 1: start today. Just iradic behavior, Junior, many going on, Tommy,
- 11:53Speaker 1: big dog, it dog. You're in a great mood today, man,
- 11:57Speaker 1: I was just in another one. Yeah j J jes
- 12:11Speaker 1: let me make you man. Just start tell the millennials, though,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you gotta let the millennial millennials know what's going on.
- 12:29Speaker 1: What's happened. See, I'm just busting out, I'm just busting
- 12:32Speaker 1: out hits. Yeah, these are old schools, not busting old
- 12:38Speaker 1: school hits, classics. That just opened up with just gut
- 12:44Speaker 1: ranching sing it. What that wrong? All that all that
- 12:51Speaker 1: boy used to open for me? Oh oh what that
- 12:55Speaker 1: Tina Marian James, Frank, Frank keep being a hallway Frank
- 13:04Speaker 1: hall him? What that damned Frank? Love him and leave him. Yeah,
- 13:09Speaker 1: he would be fire design in the hallway. He would
- 13:15Speaker 1: be walking in the hallway just hitting that note in
- 13:17Speaker 1: that time. That would him in the time. Then sooner
- 13:27Speaker 1: he walked out on timele damn, come on, that's what
- 13:39Speaker 1: they used to do us and abused then late oys,
- 13:51Speaker 1: old you it was past n Wow, you went bad.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You went from Sam Cook to the OJ's Eddie avert girl.
- 14:13Speaker 1: And then you've got your hooks and me yeah no
- 14:21Speaker 1: one never be you bye no you bye, oh baby babe.
- 14:30Speaker 1: All right, oh good, you've got your hooks and me,
- 14:38Speaker 1: well we got right after this you're listening to all right,
- 14:47Speaker 1: it is time for something funny, guys. And you know
- 14:49Speaker 1: people are getting ready for work right now probably and
- 14:52Speaker 1: uh maybe they're making their own lunch. You know people
- 14:55Speaker 1: do that at home. Well, Steve, it turns out that
- 14:57Speaker 1: eighteen percent of people have a admitted to eating someone
- 15:01Speaker 1: else's lunch at the office. One worker's live tweeting of
- 15:05Speaker 1: the mystery of a co worker stolen shrimp fried rice
- 15:08Speaker 1: was retweeted over one hundred and seventy three thousand times. Okay,
- 15:14Speaker 1: uh And while you may think it's funny, and it
- 15:18Speaker 1: is kind of funny, I mean when you think about it, um,
- 15:20Speaker 1: you know, getting away with eating someone else's meal, it
- 15:23Speaker 1: actually could have some serious consequences on the job. People
- 15:27Speaker 1: don't forget stuff like this, and you see these people
- 15:30Speaker 1: every single day. This is according to a human resource expert.
- 15:33Speaker 1: It becomes a trust issue. So Steve, I have to
- 15:37Speaker 1: ask you, I know you did it office lunches novel
- 15:46Speaker 1: in my life, taking somebody's food, because I ain't that way.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know you. Oh so you don't
- 15:52Speaker 1: know what kind of home they have at? How clean?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Right now? Two things I have done I've had mine taken. Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I've called a person what happened? And I've had I've
- 16:05Speaker 1: seen a person taking a person's lunch. Okay, what happened
- 16:10Speaker 1: when someone took both these is now situations I used
- 16:13Speaker 1: to my advantage. Yeah, and see not you don't want
- 16:19Speaker 1: this out, So now I need a couple of favors
- 16:23Speaker 1: the mom. No, dog, I mean, look, I saw you
- 16:28Speaker 1: because I'm real observing. Y'all know that about me. I'm
- 16:30Speaker 1: extremely observing. So I'm watching this dude steal this dude food.
- 16:35Speaker 1: And the dude food he was stealing is he's deceased.
- 16:38Speaker 1: His name is James Paradise and we worked at General
- 16:41Speaker 1: Lecture and this dude was taking Jared Jane paradig leca
- 16:44Speaker 1: Jaka cook his ass off, and he was just eating
- 16:46Speaker 1: James lunch every night and then and I caught him. Now,
- 16:49Speaker 1: if I tell this to James Parady, dog, I'm talking
- 16:54Speaker 1: about you've been to get drug out in the parking lot,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and when you come back in, you're gonna need to
- 16:58Speaker 1: show the people that they do your eyes. You know,
- 17:03Speaker 1: like sandwiches. You know James cook ribs, He take his ribs.
- 17:08Speaker 1: You know he made pork shoulders sandwich. You should bring
- 17:11Speaker 1: it in to work for everybody. He stole his pork
- 17:13Speaker 1: shoulder sandwich and James getting upset. So I saw him
- 17:17Speaker 1: take James stalk. It was his young white dude that
- 17:21Speaker 1: was still in the food because he was single, and
- 17:24Speaker 1: you know he wouldn't bring no lunch, had to time
- 17:26Speaker 1: a stupid ass boy. So I told him, I say, man,
- 17:31Speaker 1: you know, if Jane find out you want taking his lunch, man,
- 17:34Speaker 1: you know what's gonna happen to you? My cheese? Wait
- 17:38Speaker 1: what cheez? Yeah, that's what I need. See. Once I
- 17:46Speaker 1: hit that fear in your voice, then I got your
- 17:49Speaker 1: ass now, because all jeez, it's not a hood turn.
- 17:54Speaker 1: He said. Ah. I said, look hold on, man, this
- 17:58Speaker 1: ain't got gonna wear name right. This can't stay right here.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But i'ma need a couple of favors. Man. Now I'm
- 18:06Speaker 1: gonna leave early Wednesday. I need you to cover my
- 18:10Speaker 1: Job's not a problem with me, Steve, it's mister Harvey. Harvey. No,
- 18:23Speaker 1: Now you're gonna put some spec on my name. I
- 18:26Speaker 1: was the original birds many were, So you're gonna put
- 18:31Speaker 1: some speck on my name. And so I had him
- 18:35Speaker 1: cover cover my job like three times for that. Then
- 18:39Speaker 1: I saw a dude, take my luck. This is a
- 18:43Speaker 1: black dude had it just got hired, and he would
- 18:46Speaker 1: hadn't completed his ninety day probation. Now if I report this,
- 18:51Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get the job. Oh man, I'm so sorry.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I thought it was mine. Out of hell. Your name
- 18:58Speaker 1: ain't Steve Gregory, it's Gregory. Your name Frederick FREDI st
- 19:08Speaker 1: e v E. Get confused with Frederick, right, So I said,
- 19:12Speaker 1: so Frederick, look here, man, I'm just need a couple
- 19:14Speaker 1: of faus from men. Now I'm gonna come in late.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I need you to punch my time clock when you
- 19:22Speaker 1: get at the gate, punch my time clock from me.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Hit me in. Oh that's that's that's that's not a problem.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Now listen to me. They have a camera aimed at
- 19:34Speaker 1: the time clock, so you gotta put your back to
- 19:37Speaker 1: the camera. So he did it the first time. How
- 19:40Speaker 1: do you know all of this? Come on, no, no, no,
- 19:45Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me time Hula. I was never a thug.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Hula Hulam was crime with a purpose with respect to
- 19:55Speaker 1: thugs just out here doing stuff. Thus, crimes with a purpose,
- 20:02Speaker 1: and it was always to better uplift one set yes
- 20:07Speaker 1: at the expensive Yeah, And so that's what I had
- 20:12Speaker 1: him do so I could leave early because of a
- 20:15Speaker 1: little white dude, and I could come in late black
- 20:18Speaker 1: causing Frederick. Wow, So I had been a nice little
- 20:21Speaker 1: set up. Yeah. And then meanwhile at school he was
- 20:26Speaker 1: you know hall passes with the first huzzling. Yeah, y'all
- 20:31Speaker 1: need passes to be late in this hallway? Who name
- 20:34Speaker 1: you put on that there? See? My name was never
- 20:36Speaker 1: on a hall pass. So I ain't no't need you
- 20:38Speaker 1: talking about You got it from Steve because I ain't
- 20:40Speaker 1: got no hall pass because I had told her back
- 20:45Speaker 1: off my locker anyway, Yeah, and so I kept my stuff.
- 20:49Speaker 1: I told her back off my locker. I get that.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I had people have the haller bent down and I
- 20:55Speaker 1: put on my step behind. So if you owe my locking,
- 20:58Speaker 1: I ain't never had enhing. Oh I okay, So Steve
- 21:02Speaker 1: gave you a hap. How the hell I got hall passed?
- 21:07Speaker 1: I'm in class, not learning to write. I'm here, mister
- 21:13Speaker 1: days in high school two cut days all I ever did. Man. Oh,
- 21:19Speaker 1: but wow, see your life has been incredible, been wonderful,
- 21:23Speaker 1: it really really has really Thank you. And look at
- 21:27Speaker 1: you now? Look at you now? I mean steal hustle?
- 21:31Speaker 1: Are you are you still a hoodler? No? I no,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I don't do crime. I had a little running had
- 21:40Speaker 1: a little running in the kind of thing. Straighten me out.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Coming up next, it's the nephew with run that prank
- 21:46Speaker 1: back you're listening to show right now. The nephew is
- 21:52Speaker 1: in the building for today's prank phone called what you
- 21:54Speaker 1: got now your song? Hi, Pete in the pool for
- 21:58Speaker 1: spring break. That's what you're no son, Pete in the pool,
- 22:02Speaker 1: all these kids jumping in out of the pools, all
- 22:04Speaker 1: those spring breaking stopt in the pool, crazy running Hello. Hello,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach it. Can you hear me? Yes,
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Anastasia. This is she? How you doing? Listen,
- 22:23Speaker 1: I'm Glenning the lifeguard over here at the pool here
- 22:26Speaker 1: in the apartment complex. Yes, sir, do you have a
- 22:30Speaker 1: you have a son named Yes, sir? Everything, Uh, yeah, yeah,
- 22:35Speaker 1: everything is fine. I mean a quick question, man, we
- 22:39Speaker 1: got a situation here with what's going on. We're not
- 22:43Speaker 1: we're not gonna be allowed to h to let him
- 22:45Speaker 1: swim here at the pool and the complex anymore. What
- 22:49Speaker 1: we got him from me? Your son? I mean, he
- 22:53Speaker 1: swims in pretty much every every every other day, you know,
- 22:56Speaker 1: I'm always here seeing him swim. But it seemed like
- 23:00Speaker 1: is you know, We've been trying to figure out who
- 23:01Speaker 1: it is. Your fun keep peeing in the pool, ma'am pool, ma'am.
- 23:09Speaker 1: I don't want to get into it with you. Your son.
- 23:12Speaker 1: We finally narrowed it down. Your son is the one
- 23:14Speaker 1: that's pining in the pool every day, and you know
- 23:16Speaker 1: it's really a bad thing. Uh. We can't continue to
- 23:19Speaker 1: keep letting them come over here. We gotta ban him
- 23:21Speaker 1: from the pool. My son don't pool. We ain't nash

- 26:48Speaker 1: a little kids go without getting him in the pool.
- 26:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. Don't you bring them kids
- 26:52Speaker 1: over there and bring them in the pool. No, none
- 26:54Speaker 1: of your children. I don't give it. And what you say,
- 26:57Speaker 1: you don't run life. God get rid John, Lady. Listen, lady,
- 27:02Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go continue to go back and forth.
- 27:04Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to
- 27:06Speaker 1: you what I'm done. Okay, one more thing that I'm done.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You ain't got to say to me. I do have

- 28:06Speaker 1: What is the baddest radio show in the land, the Steve.
- 28:16Speaker 1: You gonna have to do something about the kids, and
- 28:20Speaker 1: we have to do something about you. You know what
- 28:23Speaker 1: I'm saying. We gotta do somethingbody. Now. We need that
- 28:25Speaker 1: that thing they put in the underwater Leo they head
- 28:27Speaker 1: it in that movie, or with the water turn blue
- 28:29Speaker 1: and peeing the pool one time they need to use
- 28:32Speaker 1: the bathroom for they get in the pool. Tommy, that
- 28:35Speaker 1: that yeah, Yeah, yeah, I'd like to see that deep
- 28:38Speaker 1: blue spot didn't look like the Atlantic Atlantic over there. Everyone,
- 28:50Speaker 1: you get grown. You gotta get your butt out of
- 28:52Speaker 1: the food. You gotta get up and get out. Yeah,
- 28:57Speaker 1: y'all got y'all, y'all you got salt water, you got it,
- 29:00Speaker 1: the chlorine saltwater. I love. I didn't do the saldn't
- 29:05Speaker 1: And I make a love kids that come on my house,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you need to use bathroom. Yeah, So, how's your CD
- 29:14Speaker 1: coming along? I'm gonna get I'm I'm I'm trying to
- 29:21Speaker 1: do twenty tracks. That's I got a lot of work
- 29:23Speaker 1: to do. I think I told you that my girlfriend,
- 29:26Speaker 1: her husband listens to your CD every single night. She
- 29:32Speaker 1: cannot wait. Every single night. She tells me. Ever see
- 29:36Speaker 1: her every two weeks. Every time I see her, she
- 29:38Speaker 1: tells me the same thing. And she wants you to
- 29:41Speaker 1: hurry up and put out the new CD. Really, she
- 29:44Speaker 1: knows all your receive. That's loyal. That's he listens. He
- 29:50Speaker 1: just on headphones and all that he has headphones. But
- 29:53Speaker 1: I mean, I didn't ask her all that. She just
- 29:55Speaker 1: said he listens. I didn't say, well, what is he listen?
- 29:57Speaker 1: I didn't say that I just said, I'll tell Tommy
- 30:01Speaker 1: to rush down. All right, We'll have more of the
- 30:06Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to
- 30:09Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. A report by Zillo finds it
- 30:15Speaker 1: nearly twenty two and a half percent twenty two point
- 30:18Speaker 1: five percent of US millennials, that's age, it's twenty four
- 30:21Speaker 1: to thirty six they are living with their mom, which
- 30:25Speaker 1: is about twelve million young adults. And why haven't millennials
- 30:29Speaker 1: moved out on their own? Well, according to the report,
- 30:32Speaker 1: twelve percent of them are currently unemployed. Now he got
- 30:37Speaker 1: a job. Does he live with you? Yes? He does? Well,
- 30:40Speaker 1: what do you live with your mom? And you passed millennia?
- 30:44Speaker 1: What range is that? Well, since he has the most kids,
- 30:50Speaker 1: I think we should defer to Steve on this one. Steve,
- 30:52Speaker 1: you have some rules for when you live with someone
- 30:54Speaker 1: until you get on your feet. Now, this is not
- 30:57Speaker 1: for millennial any don't see anybody, Okay, So I don't
- 31:02Speaker 1: want to make that I don't want millennials to feel
- 31:05Speaker 1: that way. This is for anybody. You've had people stare
- 31:08Speaker 1: at your how I had people come live with me, college,
- 31:11Speaker 1: h college roommates, stuff like that, it's some stuff like that.
- 31:17Speaker 1: These are Steve Harvey's rules for living with someone until
- 31:20Speaker 1: you get on your feet. These are dudes and dotes. Okay,
- 31:24Speaker 1: some things you need to keep in mind. Here's one
- 31:27Speaker 1: right here. Your goal every day is to make it
- 31:31Speaker 1: seem like you there, but you not that. Yeah, that's
- 31:41Speaker 1: your goal. That's when you wake up, get it in
- 31:44Speaker 1: your mind, out the bill, but look like because you
- 31:53Speaker 1: get asked to me. Now you don't want that. Here's
- 31:56Speaker 1: another one. This is very important. Your car h should
- 32:01Speaker 1: never block me in I can't want to go out
- 32:08Speaker 1: and I go out there and your car in the
- 32:10Speaker 1: day where you were in that sleep. Yeah, in fact,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I got news for you. Your car shouldn't even be
- 32:16Speaker 1: in front of the house up the street and walk
- 32:22Speaker 1: down to where you live, rent free round the corner,
- 32:29Speaker 1: park at the up the street, at the parking lot,
- 32:32Speaker 1: at the grocery store. That man. Try to make it
- 32:36Speaker 1: look like you've got no car. If you're watching TV
- 32:44Speaker 1: in the other room. Yeah, your laugh should not be
- 32:48Speaker 1: where I can hear lay down the just good bucketing.
- 33:01Speaker 1: This should be learned how to laugh like this hit.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Let me show you how you laugh from your other people.
- 33:06Speaker 1: You can't be enjoying their TV and all. This is
- 33:09Speaker 1: how you laugh? What is real funny? That's gonna be
- 33:21Speaker 1: hard me out. That's it. I don't give a damn
- 33:25Speaker 1: what you want. Here's another one. Don't let me walk
- 33:32Speaker 1: in the house and have to tell you to get
- 33:34Speaker 1: out of my chair. Ye, you should only sit. I'm
- 33:40Speaker 1: gonna tell you the areas you are to sit there,
- 33:43Speaker 1: kitchen your bad ruler and occasionally in the band. Don't
- 33:54Speaker 1: be taking read material in there? What you focus? Focus? Focus,
- 34:01Speaker 1: stare at the toilet tissue role? How do your business?
- 34:05Speaker 1: Get up, get out, get out? You count little preparation
- 34:12Speaker 1: holes on the toilet like that? All right? See this
- 34:17Speaker 1: time for today's headlines, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Tripp,
- 34:22Speaker 1: Thanks guys, and good morning everybody out there. This is answered,
- 34:25Speaker 1: but the news a horror. In New Zealand, authorities say
- 34:28Speaker 1: that there were separate attacks at two mosques in the
- 34:30Speaker 1: christ Church area as scores of Muslims attended Friday prayers.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Forty nine people have been killed, dozens of others have
- 34:37Speaker 1: been hospitalized, twenty of those in serious condition, and what
- 34:40Speaker 1: officials say was a well planned terrorist attack and four
- 34:43Speaker 1: suspects three men and one woman have been arrested. They
- 34:47Speaker 1: say that one of the attackers actually live stream the
- 34:50Speaker 1: carnage on Facebook Live. They've since taken that mess down.
- 34:53Speaker 1: The police presence has been stepped up at mosques around
- 34:55Speaker 1: the world today, and one of the suspects describes himself
- 34:58Speaker 1: as a twenty year old white Australian and he left
- 35:02Speaker 1: an anti immigrant manifesto that was in New Zealand, a
- 35:05Speaker 1: GOP dominate. A US Senate yesterday issued a bipartisan rebuke
- 35:08Speaker 1: of President Trump's declaration of that national emergency just to
- 35:11Speaker 1: get eight billion dollars for the border wall. About a
- 35:13Speaker 1: dozen Republicans show their disapproval of the President's declaration, voting
- 35:17Speaker 1: with the Democrats. Fifty nine Senators voted against the president
- 35:20Speaker 1: compared to forty one who voted with him. The measure
- 35:22Speaker 1: already passed in the House, or it now goes to
- 35:24Speaker 1: the President where he's expected to veto it, which he
- 35:27Speaker 1: says is his right. The legal scholars will say it's
- 35:29Speaker 1: totally constitutional, it's very important. It's really a border security vote.
- 35:35Speaker 1: By the way, opponents is still challenging Trump's border wall
- 35:38Speaker 1: in court as well. Meanwhile, an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote again,
- 35:41Speaker 1: this one yesterday, and the House of Representatives approving a
- 35:44Speaker 1: resolution calling for the results of the probe into the
- 35:47Speaker 1: possible collusion between Trump's presidential campaign and the Russians. They
- 35:51Speaker 1: want that those results made public. A federal law requires
- 35:55Speaker 1: a special prosecutor, Robert Muller, to present the Attorney General
- 35:58Speaker 1: will even Bar with a confidential report, and then it's
- 36:01Speaker 1: up to the Age to decide how much of that
- 36:03Speaker 1: report the American people will hear about well. Also, far
- 36:05Speaker 1: Mulla's probe has resulted in criminal charges against more than
- 36:09Speaker 1: thirty individuals and entities, including a number of aids and
- 36:11Speaker 1: associates of the president. Trump has continued to describe the
- 36:14Speaker 1: investigation as a witch hunt. Former Texas congress and Beat
- 36:17Speaker 1: O'Rourke became the latest Democrat to announce his intention to
- 36:20Speaker 1: run for president yesterday, a Wark beginning his campaign with
- 36:23Speaker 1: a three day tour of Iowa, talking about support for
- 36:26Speaker 1: many things, including universal healthcare, dimonds that we receive on
- 36:29Speaker 1: the investment that we make in the healthcare of one
- 36:31Speaker 1: another will more than pay for the cost of the
- 36:34Speaker 1: investment upfront, and Empire's Jessie smallertt pled not guilty yesterday
- 36:38Speaker 1: and lying to law enforcement about being a victim of
- 36:40Speaker 1: a hate crime and of staging a phony attack. The actor,
- 36:44Speaker 1: facing sixteen counts of disorderly conduct a smaller is currently
- 36:47Speaker 1: free on bail and due back of the court again
- 36:49Speaker 1: next month. By the way, outside the court, there were
- 36:52Speaker 1: a number of his fans, some wearing Empire T shirts,
- 36:54Speaker 1: others with his justice name on the T shirt. Finally,
- 36:57Speaker 1: today is We're all sleep day, And boy do I
- 37:01Speaker 1: need a couple of weeks. I need to be in
- 37:03Speaker 1: the eyelid theater right now, back to the Steve Harvey
- 37:05Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 37:10Speaker 1: here we are. Jay is here to murder another hit,
- 37:13Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, the hit murderer himself, Jay Anthony Brown.

- 37:42Speaker 1: we already went over We already went over this everything.
- 37:47Speaker 1: We went over everything. They say the time, But I

- 46:06Speaker 1: unit a couple of days ago, and that was out
- 46:09Speaker 1: of count a couple of days ago. What day are
- 46:10Speaker 1: we talking about? Uh so? Actually he stad Wednesday, Thursday
- 46:16Speaker 1: and Friday. He was there all three days. You guys

- 46:27Speaker 1: let someone in the unit allows them to be buzzed up.
- 46:29Speaker 1: That's the rules here of the building. So we definitely
- 46:31Speaker 1: didn't do anything. So who let him in? Who buzzed him? Monday? Sir?
- 46:36Speaker 1: I hate to say it, but I'm assuming your wife
- 46:38Speaker 1: wants to bust him up. You mean my wife was
- 46:40Speaker 1: not there three days ago. She was on a business trip.
- 46:43Speaker 1: She was not at the apartment three days ago. No, sir,
- 46:45Speaker 1: your wife was here. I've actually seen your wife come
- 46:48Speaker 1: in and out. Okay, to dude is there right now?
- 46:51Speaker 1: He's downstairs. He's here right now with me, Sir. What
- 46:54Speaker 1: did he leave him? Okay, one second, miss hang on?

- 47:13Speaker 1: Let me talk to him. Put him on the phone.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Let me talk some guards, you know, and miss coming
- 47:17Speaker 1: right now. We're listening to you, and I'll rate the
- 47:19Speaker 1: way you're saying. I don't want to put this car
- 47:21Speaker 1: on the phone. Mark. If you want to keep your
- 47:23Speaker 1: job at the building, you gonna put him on the
- 47:25Speaker 1: phone now, is sir? Sorry, missus, he's actually leaving out
- 47:31Speaker 1: of the building now he's leave, he's walking out. Should
- 47:37Speaker 1: put him on the phone. It's your problem. You got
- 47:42Speaker 1: videos to veilings, right, you got video footage. If everybody
- 47:45Speaker 1: that comes in and out of the building right, Um, yes, sir,
- 47:48Speaker 1: but you know, if if nothing occurs, we I think
- 47:50Speaker 1: we should have footage that goes back at least two weeks,
- 47:53Speaker 1: so we should be able to pull some things out
- 47:55Speaker 1: for you. Sir. Yeah, I'm gonna need you to get that.
- 47:57Speaker 1: And I need to hit over to me right now.
- 47:59Speaker 1: I'm at my work email. I need it to day

- 48:16Speaker 1: hear me out. I have We haven't just let someone in.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Someone in your unit buzz someone up. We didn't just
- 48:24Speaker 1: let anyone up. Now, I know you don't want to
- 48:26Speaker 1: hear it, but I'm assuming your wife buzz this guy
- 48:31Speaker 1: just turns up. We didn't do that. You shall put
- 48:35Speaker 1: up and get me what I asked for and then
- 48:38Speaker 1: we're done. Okay. Well, well, you know you're saying I
- 48:41Speaker 1: have a problem. Maybe you have a problem pleasing your
- 48:43Speaker 1: wife and that's why she's buzzing other people up. You
- 48:48Speaker 1: go talking to me like that, you're being You're respectful
- 48:53Speaker 1: to me as well, sir. No, no, no, no. The
- 48:56Speaker 1: disrespectful is you coming and letting people come up to
- 48:58Speaker 1: my building that you know now. I haven't let anybody
- 49:01Speaker 1: up here. I can't stop your wife from doing what
- 49:03Speaker 1: she's doing. You're like, okay, in what you're thinking, it
- 49:06Speaker 1: might packing out on me. What you should be saying
- 49:08Speaker 1: to your wife. Somebody has gotta dress up all the
- 49:11Speaker 1: time and always buzzing somebody up to the room on
- 49:13Speaker 1: your guard. That's what you want of me. To the
- 49:16Speaker 1: door man, missus? You you you know what. I'm the
- 49:21Speaker 1: only round here busting my head kiss dawn. Man. I
- 49:24Speaker 1: want you're working right now to pay for that. So
- 49:27Speaker 1: they check job where you might be handling you man,
- 49:30Speaker 1: but other dender you're not. You're not handling your business
- 49:33Speaker 1: at home. That's why she keeps buzzing people up. Sir.
- 49:35Speaker 1: You know what? What the business I'm a handle when
- 49:37Speaker 1: I get home today is showing my man your your
- 49:43Speaker 1: wife has been Sir, You're gonna quit calling me the doorman. Okay?
- 49:47Speaker 1: You want woman? What's your mother position? What you do
- 49:51Speaker 1: for a living? I'm a doorman, door and thank you, missus.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Door man. By fact I'm gonna stop calling you miss
- 49:57Speaker 1: the doorman, because that's giving you too much respect. Okay,
- 50:01Speaker 1: if you know, if you if you stop calling me
- 50:03Speaker 1: from going up to your room, you'll be fine. Who

- 50:37Speaker 1: that was going through my head and that she was
- 50:40Speaker 1: about to get it, y'a. Always everybody was about the
- 50:44Speaker 1: get it. Hey, man, I gotta ask you, man, what
- 50:49Speaker 1: is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show
- 50:52Speaker 1: in the land. Man, gotta be the Steve Harvey Morning
- 50:55Speaker 1: Something Never I mean you know you know what I'm saying.
- 50:58Speaker 1: Sometimes you're leading time you get caught up. You know,
- 51:03Speaker 1: you don't think about until you pull out down. I
- 51:05Speaker 1: left my drugs, but you can't go back get home
- 51:14Speaker 1: though you cain't undressed in front of nobody. But you
- 51:16Speaker 1: ain't got no drums. Don't come home with new drug fit.
- 51:19Speaker 1: When you start wearing new drugs, new change your behavior.
- 51:25Speaker 1: We know that's the clue. We know you know about
- 51:32Speaker 1: a round your ankles. I was just in the rush
- 51:36Speaker 1: to get them on, trying to get back to the house.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Next thing, you know, I just had it in one
- 51:42Speaker 1: leg in the kitchen, trying to look innocent and look down,
- 51:46Speaker 1: and it was sticking out under my pants. Oh you
- 51:51Speaker 1: should have seen me putting that leg. Okay, so I
- 51:56Speaker 1: get the visual. Your draws are down, but your pants
- 51:59Speaker 1: is up. Yeah. Yeah, like you got it together and
- 52:06Speaker 1: she she was on tied up, Yeah, tied up, draws
- 52:14Speaker 1: just sticking out from around You feel that big lump
- 52:18Speaker 1: of cloth going down your leg? What color? Team? What color?
- 52:22Speaker 1: Were they real obvious? Yeah? You know I had these
- 52:25Speaker 1: green and yellow ones the Yeah, they were very noticeable.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Where they real obvious? Yeah? My socks? Hear the funny
- 52:47Speaker 1: thing the leg that the draws were sticking out of.
- 52:50Speaker 1: I didn't have a sock on that foot. How do
- 52:54Speaker 1: you real? Hated? How did you get out of it?
- 52:57Speaker 1: That's what I wanted. Now. I stuck my legs hand
- 53:00Speaker 1: the stove. I'm telling you, I'm just stuck it on
- 53:03Speaker 1: the side of stove, just stood there because I couldn't walk. Yeah,
- 53:08Speaker 1: because usually there's no room behind. I'm just doing it
- 53:11Speaker 1: in the kitchen talking. I was concerned coming up more
- 53:16Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're
- 53:19Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, right now,
- 53:23Speaker 1: it is time for the Strawberry Letter for today. And
- 53:25Speaker 1: if you need advice and relationships on dating, work, sex,
- 53:28Speaker 1: parenting and more, please submit your Strawberry Letter to Steve
- 53:31Speaker 1: Harvey FM and click submit Strawberry Letter write Steve Show.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Is you know it? Buckle up, hold on tight, We
- 53:44Speaker 1: got it for you. Here it is the Strawberry Letter subject.
- 53:48Speaker 1: I am so sick of my daughter. There's Stephen Shirley.
- 53:51Speaker 1: I'm tired of motherhood. Sorry, but I am no longer
- 53:54Speaker 1: interested in being a mother. I'm a twenty I am
- 53:58Speaker 1: twenty eight years old, and I have a five year
- 54:00Speaker 1: old daughter that is disrespectful, obnoxious, and a constant source
- 54:05Speaker 1: of embarrassment in public. She is out of control on
- 54:08Speaker 1: a daily basis. Beating her behind does not help, and
- 54:11Speaker 1: I don't know what else to do. I have tried
- 54:14Speaker 1: many ways of disciplining her. Reverse psychology and time out
- 54:17Speaker 1: don't work on her. I can't seem to get through
- 54:20Speaker 1: to her without yelling and arguing. Why am I arguing
- 54:24Speaker 1: with a five year old? I recently got divorced, and
- 54:27Speaker 1: my daughter and I live with my parents. My child
- 54:31Speaker 1: never had a great relationship with her dad because he
- 54:33Speaker 1: can't control her either. My parents see that I have
- 54:36Speaker 1: no control over her, and they try to stay out
- 54:39Speaker 1: of it as much as possible, but it's hard to
- 54:41Speaker 1: overlook her behavior. We have been to counseling and the
- 54:45Speaker 1: doctor suggested that I put her on medication. I don't
- 54:48Speaker 1: want to take that route yet. She will start school
- 54:51Speaker 1: soon and I want her to get it together before then.
- 54:54Speaker 1: I don't want her labeled as a problem child or
- 54:57Speaker 1: be medicated daily. I do have faith in God, and
- 55:00Speaker 1: I am hopeful that God will fix it for me.
- 55:02Speaker 1: What should I do? Help me? There's a lot going
- 55:06Speaker 1: on in this letter with a five year old that's disrespectful, obnoxious,
- 55:11Speaker 1: in a constant source of embarrassment in public. You said
- 55:15Speaker 1: you just got divorced. That could be a lot of
- 55:17Speaker 1: why she's acting out, because you know she misses her
- 55:21Speaker 1: home situation with her dad being there and all of that.
- 55:26Speaker 1: But I do get what you're saying. A lot of parents,
- 55:28Speaker 1: every parent gets tired at some point. It is understandable.
- 55:33Speaker 1: What I don't understand is why after you after your ex.
- 55:37Speaker 1: You said, your ex husband and even your parents couldn't
- 55:41Speaker 1: control her. So why don't you listen to the doctor.
- 55:44Speaker 1: You took her to a therapist, you took her to counseling,
- 55:47Speaker 1: and they suggested medication. He's a professional. I'm not discounting
- 55:54Speaker 1: the fact you say in your letter that you do
- 55:56Speaker 1: have faith in God and you're hopeful that God will
- 55:58Speaker 1: fix it for me. Well, of course, there's nothing too
- 56:00Speaker 1: hard for God. God can do anything. Nothing is impossible. Yes, absolutely,
- 56:05Speaker 1: God can fix everything. But please please know that there
- 56:08Speaker 1: are people on this earth that are working in their
- 56:12Speaker 1: God appointed gifts, their purpose. That means lawyers, that means pastors, teachers, journalists,
- 56:18Speaker 1: and yes, doctors, okay, doctors. So what should you do?
- 56:23Speaker 1: You ask at the end of your letter. I think
- 56:26Speaker 1: you should listen to your doctors in this instance. I mean,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you don't know what's going on with your daughter. She
- 56:31Speaker 1: may have some sort of chemical and balance you don't know.
- 56:34Speaker 1: But the doctor is a professional. If you don't like
- 56:36Speaker 1: what he said, get a second opinion, get a third opinion.
- 56:39Speaker 1: You do want your daughter to go to school and
- 56:41Speaker 1: have a productive life and have a great life, so
- 56:44Speaker 1: you know she's going to start school soon. Don't just
- 56:47Speaker 1: leave this up to chance. Continue this quest to get
- 56:51Speaker 1: your get your daughter the help that she so rightfully
- 56:54Speaker 1: needs and deserves. Steve, I don't know. I don't know
- 56:59Speaker 1: I can talk about this that like this. First of all,
- 57:01Speaker 1: let me say this, Shirley Strawberry. Yeah, I think that
- 57:05Speaker 1: everything you said was absolutely one spot on. I could
- 57:09Speaker 1: not have given a most dignified ends. Therefore, I'm not
- 57:14Speaker 1: gonna try. So I want to just say before I
- 57:17Speaker 1: start talking that everything Shirley Strawberry just said I concur
- 57:23Speaker 1: one thousand percent that are professional people that can help
- 57:27Speaker 1: with this. You should go to therapy. You should get
- 57:30Speaker 1: all them doctors. God la la la la la la
- 57:34Speaker 1: la finish. He is the key to this whole thing.
- 57:40Speaker 1: She is out of control on a daily basis. Beat
- 57:45Speaker 1: team hubby behind does not help, and I don't know
- 57:49Speaker 1: what else to do. Well, let me introduce you to something.
- 57:53Speaker 1: See that beaten hubby behind. I bet this five year
- 57:58Speaker 1: old has not had an ill. Vera Harvey asked, woman,
- 58:02Speaker 1: See I've had and it lost. Vera Harvey asked, Whipping
- 58:09Speaker 1: that cured all my eels. Every time I produce one
- 58:16Speaker 1: hardheadedness talking back. I rolled it. Humh what all that
- 58:25Speaker 1: stuff got it? All that got cuted? I only said
- 58:30Speaker 1: hump one time. Guess what he lost, Very Harvey did
- 58:34Speaker 1: gave me an I lost Very Harvey a whopper. I
- 58:37Speaker 1: ain't saying hunting. My mama says, what I'm outside playing, Steve?
- 58:45Speaker 1: What I was playing basketball? I got caught him soon
- 58:51Speaker 1: as I said it. I tried to swallow that basketball,
- 58:54Speaker 1: the basketball. I tried to push it in my mouth
- 58:58Speaker 1: that big I don't. I tried to swallow that damn basketball.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Guess what happened to me? Ill lost Vera Harvey A
- 59:07Speaker 1: whipping Yeah, yeah, uh, I ain't say that. Another ass whooping.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Be home when the street light come on? Street light,
- 59:22Speaker 1: come on. I'm still down the street talking to a
- 59:24Speaker 1: Janette Hawkins. Another Ill lost Vera Harvey ass. I can't
- 59:30Speaker 1: tell you how many times, how many times I've had
- 59:35Speaker 1: to take one. So this fact that you have beat
- 59:38Speaker 1: your child and it ain't help. I disagree. I disagree. Now,
- 59:45Speaker 1: all this counselor Shirley want to send you to and
- 59:49Speaker 1: all this other stuff, all that's good, but don't write
- 59:54Speaker 1: me in talking about a five you old. You can't
- 59:56Speaker 1: control how you can't control the five years. Don't you
- 59:59Speaker 1: feel eat her? What she stayed? Who bought her clothes?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Who do her hair? M? What if I control all that?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I control you? Timehouse don't work? How about you ain't
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: eating today? Damn what food? Hard to fight when you're humble? Fine,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I don't give a damn it. She is five. She
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: acts like she fought it. She disrespectful. She ain't got
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: no relationship with this woman's father. She disrespecting him, disrespecting her.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: She don't know what to do. She fittning. Send this
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: fool up to school. Now, you gotta teach her fit
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: to deal with this ignorant five year old. Ain't nobody
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: fitting to do all this with this five year old? Five?
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Take this thirty year old ass whip, and I'll bet
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: you will be five. Hum. Okay, Steve Real, let's stop
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: it right there and come back with part two. If
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: you're in to today's letter the subject I am so
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: sick of my daughter, we'll be back in twenty three
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening to. All right, Steve, here
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: we are part two of the Strawberry Letter for It.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I really don't know how we got a part two.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: You got a five year old that can't nobody control.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You got a five year old that the mama can't control.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: The daddy of the baby can't controller. The parents see
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: that the baby out of control. They're trying to stay
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: out of it. But the girls behavior crazy. The doctors
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: want to put your baby on medication. You don't want
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to go there. Well, what can we do instead of medication?
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I have told you the lst vera Harvey ash poop
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and academy hass openings in it. I can share with
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you the things my mama has done to me that
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: turned me into the man that I am today. So
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: what we have is, Junior, is there's a re enactment.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Junior is the five year old. I wonder why, why
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: why do you ask? Okay, so Shirley, Yeah, you're gonna
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: be the mama. I'm the grandfather. Oh because he lived
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: in my house. So I'm the grandfather. Shirley, You the mama, Junior,

- 1:03:39Speaker 1: you be hungry to morrow. Why why I'm gonna be
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: hungry to morrow because you ain't gonna get a damn

- 1:04:23Speaker 1: That's playing in this skit and in real life. You
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: understand that town. Now what I'm trying to tell you,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: little Keisha, if you want to continue to grow any taller,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you're gonna watch your mouth and get respectful of your

- 1:26:50Speaker 1: start on your job. Somebody don't like black people to
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: get out of here? All right? More of this crazy
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: is the ignorant show Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this,
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. A report by
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: Zillo finds it nearly twenty two and a half percent
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: twenty two point five percent of you as millennials. That's age,
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: it's twenty four to thirty six. They are living with
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: their mom, which is about twelve million young adults. And
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: why haven't millennials moved out on their own? Well, according
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: to the report, twelve percent of them are currently unemployed.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: Now he got a job. Does he live with you? Yes?
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: He does? Well, what do you live with your mom?
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: And you pass Millennis? What range is that? Well, since
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: he has the most kids, I think we should defer
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: to Steve on this one. Steve, you have some rules
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: for when you live with someone until you get on
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: your feet. Now, this is not for millennials any anybody. Okay,
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: So I don't want to make that I don't want
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: millennials or field that way. This is forbody. You've had
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: people stay at your how I had people come live
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: with mellege college roommates and stuff like that. It's some stuff. Now,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: these are Steve Harvey's rules for living with someone until
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: you get on your feet. These are dudes and don'ts.
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Some things you need to keep in mind. Here's one
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: right here. Your goal every day is to make it
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: seem like you there, but you not that. Yeah, that's
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: your goal. That's when you wake up get it in
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: your mind him, but look like I ain't because you
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: get asked to me you don't want that. Here's another one.
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: This is very important. Your car should never block me
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: in what I know, I can't want to go out
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: and I go out there and your car in the
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: day where you in that sleep. Yeah, in fact, I
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: got news for you. Your car shouldn't even be in
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: front of the house up the street and walk down
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: to where you live, rent free round the corner, park
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: at the up the street, at the parking lot, at
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: the grocery store. That man. Try to make it look
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: like you ain't even got no car. If you're watching
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: TV in the other room, Yeah, your laugh should not

- 1:29:59Speaker 1: your people. You can't be enjoying their TV and all.

- 1:30:13Speaker 1: That's gonna be hard. Yeah, Steve, put me out. I
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: don't give a damn what you want. Here's another one.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: Don't let me walk in the house and have to
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: tell you to get out of my chair. Yeah, you
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: should only sit. I'm gonna tell you the areas you
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: want to sit here, kitchen, your bed room, and occasionally
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: in the band. Don't be taking read material in there.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: What you focus? Focus? Focus? All right? Tub When we
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: come back, last break of the day and Steve's closing remarks,
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: you don't want to miss him. We'll be back at
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: forty nine after you're listening. All right, Steve, Here we
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: are back, last break of the day, and you're gonna
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: leave us with some closing remarks. Yeah, you know. I
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: want to share something with you that I came across
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: when I was meditating. Me and a friend of mine,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Bishop Gettis, down in the Carolinas, who I met on
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: my talk show one time. We formed a relationship. Very
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: very helpful. Bishop gettys he sends me inspiration all the time.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: He just I mean, just a good dude man, just
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: care about me. He always sends me something timely. And
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: one of the things he sent me I was thinking
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: about on the when I was meditating this summer, and
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: it's something that I'm guilty of even myself. And I
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: was explaining it to a couple of people that work
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: around him, and they would come on, you say that
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: you feel that way. Yeah, man, it's all relative. You know,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how you think my life is the
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: fact that I might be still short in myself is
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: a very very real reality. And there is a possibility
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: moving forward that you could also be short in your
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: life for what it could truly be. Have you ever
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: thought about that you could be making one mistake that's
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: cutting you off from the life that you could really have.
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: You're actually short circuit in your blessings because of a
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: very simple thing that we do. And I'm guilty of
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: this myself. And I had to catch myself this summer
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: and one of the things I came away with I said, Man,
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: I got to dream bigger. I have got to dream
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: bigger because I've exposed myself with people who have so
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: much more. Now, do you need so much more? No?
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: But God said he will give you the desires of
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: your heart. He'll even put some stuff on your heart
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: to desire. You ain't even know what's really there, but
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: he wants you to see that too. So look, I'm
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: out of the need business. I just need him. He's
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: all I need. Of course, I need love and people
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: that care about me and friendship. I'm not saying I
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: don't need nothing, But as far as material stuff, I
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: don't need anything. It's just stuff I want. But it's
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: nothing wrong we want anymore as long as you're grateful
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: for where you at. But here's what happens, and it
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: happens to me, and it may be happening to you.
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: And I don't want you to shortcircuit your blessings. I
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: don't want you to knock yourself out of something that
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: you could have. Listen to me, don't downgrade your dream
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: just to fit your reality. I'm gonna repeat that, but
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: I got some or don't downgrade your dream just to
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny.
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: One more time, y'all listen to this. This is so good. Man.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Don't downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: your conviction to match your destiny. Oh man, this is
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: so good. Do you know how many times we reshape
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: what we want based on where we're at right now?
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: Do you know how many times you've bought a car
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: based on how much you made? Well, now you saying, well,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: of course, Steve, you got to fit it in the budget.
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: But hold up, though, but did you really want something else?
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: Did you really see yourself driving a different model, the
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: upscale model. Did you see you with that car but
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: it was fully loaded? I'm just saying, well, you know
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: what you shouldn't do. You shouldn't downgrade your dream just
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: to fit your reality. See so you make a purchase
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: based on where you're at right now, when if you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: kept the faith continue to work. Do you know that God,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: there's a strong possibility that he was gonna give you
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: the car your dream. But you quit operating on faith,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: you started functioning on your reality, and so you end
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: up blocking what God could do for you because you
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: made a move too fast based on where you were
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: with what you should have did you should have buckled
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: down and upgraded your conviction, got most serious about it,
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: got more funky with it, got a little bit more
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: determined to get what you saw in your dreams and
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: your visions. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny because
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: where God gonna take you and what it really got
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: for you, you gotta get your conviction to match that.
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: Stop knocking your dreams down because it don't and fitting
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: it into your reality. To date, you gotta try something
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: else because I had to force myself to do it.
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: I got to upgrade my conviction to match your destiny.
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: God has a bigger life for me, and that I
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: know for sure. And many of you feel the same way.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: You keep saying, Man, there's got to be more than
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: my life than this. Man, I really see God working
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: on my behalf. Just gotta hang in there. You just
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: gotta hanging there. Man. Now, you gotta keep working, but
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: you got to hang in there. When I say hanging there,
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: do not lose faith. That's the hanging in now I'm
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: talking about. Don't give up because it didn't got funky
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: for you. Hanging there, be strong. Don't downgrade your dream
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: your destined Those are my clothesing removed? Well, you better
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: drop the mic on that one for real though? Did
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: he fall? No? He drops? Okay, I don't know. I
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: don't know how the mic on lane? Yeah, I have
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: learned that I really did. I was making this mistake, man,
