- 2:21Speaker 9: catch fire today. You want to phrase it another way,
- 2:25Speaker 9: I want you to catch on fire today. But I
- 2:29Speaker 9: need you to catch fire today. I need today to
- 2:32Speaker 9: be today that you stop complaining and you do something.
- 2:37Speaker 9: Do you know why a lot of people can't move
- 2:39Speaker 9: forward in their life because they complaining about their past?
- 2:43Speaker 9: They always complaining, man about something? Is that explains the
- 2:47Speaker 9: reason why they are. Let me help you with this
- 2:50Speaker 9: right here. If you are steady complaining about the reason
- 2:54Speaker 9: you are, you know, if I hadn't met this man,
- 2:57Speaker 9: if I hadn't have been involved with this woman, if
- 2:59Speaker 9: I haddn't have had this baby, if I had never
- 3:02Speaker 9: went down there, if I hadn't have got arrested, if
- 3:05Speaker 9: I hadn't to this, if I hadn't it at, if
- 3:07Speaker 9: I had a just finished school, if I had to Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 3:11Speaker 9: stop stop all that stuff that you're complaining about, everything
- 3:17Speaker 9: that you keep allowing to resonate with you as a
- 3:21Speaker 9: reason to justify and explain you not being successful. Can
- 3:25Speaker 9: I share something with you about all of that? Guess
- 3:28Speaker 9: what it is?
- 3:30Speaker 1: You done?
- 3:30Speaker 2: Got past all of it.
- 3:32Speaker 9: You didn't have the baby, you got arrested, they didn't
- 3:36Speaker 9: kill you, you didn't finish school, but you're still standing.
- 3:39Speaker 9: You met that man, he gone, He involved with two
- 3:42Speaker 9: other women. Right now, I got three other kids. Guess what.
- 3:45Speaker 9: You still here and the baby's here. You got over
- 3:49Speaker 9: all the injustices that were done to you. You got
- 3:52Speaker 9: something happened to you when you was a kid. You're
- 3:54Speaker 9: an adult now. Somebody did something to you when you
- 3:57Speaker 9: was a little boy. Guess what you were mad now?
- 4:00Speaker 9: Some things happen to you that you haven't found closure on.
- 4:05Speaker 9: The person that you're looking for closure from has moved on.
- 4:09Speaker 9: Can I tell you that everything that has happened to you,
- 4:13Speaker 9: do you know you've gotten pasted it? So why are
- 4:16Speaker 9: you steady complaining about what has happened to you that
- 4:21Speaker 9: has caused you to be in this position? But do
- 4:23Speaker 9: you understand that it's prohibiting you from moving forward? Stop
- 4:27Speaker 9: complaining today, catch fire, Let your pass be your past.
- 4:31Speaker 9: I've told this to you one hundred times on this radio,
- 4:33Speaker 9: but I'm gonna say it again. Bishop Jakes told me
- 4:36Speaker 9: something man that helped me so greatly. You can't drive
- 4:41Speaker 9: your car if you gonna keep looking in the rear
- 4:44Speaker 9: view mirror. That's why the windshield is huge. The windshield
- 4:50Speaker 9: is huge. The rearview mirror is this tiny thing that
- 4:54Speaker 9: sits up there.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Now all is far. It's so you can see stuff
- 4:58Speaker 2: that's coming up on you.
- 5:00Speaker 9: All the rearview mirror for is so you can assure yourself.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Oh, listen to this.
- 5:05Speaker 9: The realview mirror is imp there to assure you that
- 5:09Speaker 9: you've cleared something.
- 5:11Speaker 4: See.
- 5:12Speaker 2: That's what the rearview mirrors for.
- 5:13Speaker 9: So when you pass the car you want to switch lanes,
- 5:16Speaker 9: you can glance up there and it says, okay, you're clear.
- 5:19Speaker 9: Now you passed it.
- 5:20Speaker 2: You can switch lanes. That's all the rearview mirrors for.
- 5:24Speaker 9: It ain't for you to stare at and dictate your
- 5:26Speaker 9: life with what you're tripping for. Man, catch fire today today, Man,
- 5:32Speaker 9: quit complaining about everything that didn happened to you. Life
- 5:36Speaker 9: is ten percent. What happens to you is ninety percent.
- 5:38Speaker 9: What you do about what happens to you? What are
- 5:41Speaker 9: you going to do about it? So what I got
- 5:45Speaker 9: all this? Look, man, your story ain't no deeper than
- 5:48Speaker 9: nobody else's. I can tell you I was homeless for
- 5:50Speaker 9: three years. It's people been homeless for thirty years.
- 5:55Speaker 2: How long I'm gonna ride that out?
- 5:58Speaker 10: Man?
- 5:58Speaker 9: You know I can't do nothing right now. I fell
- 6:01Speaker 9: on hard times and I lost my place to stay.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Where you staying now?
- 6:07Speaker 9: See the majority of people are staying somewhere right now.
- 6:11Speaker 2: I was out there. I didn't have nowhere to go.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I'm in a shelter. Now.
- 6:14Speaker 9: You was under the bridge a week ago. You into shelter.
- 6:18Speaker 9: Now why you can still crying about the bridge? You
- 6:22Speaker 9: in a shelter now?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Man. You know how you find your purpose? You get in.
- 6:29Speaker 9: Touch with who created you. Because when God made you,
- 6:34Speaker 9: he had a purpose in mind. Now we've ignored it
- 6:38Speaker 9: and we haven't tapped into it. But we all had
- 6:41Speaker 9: a purpose. You don't, and it's sometimes it takes people
- 6:43Speaker 9: longing to discover the purpose. Colonel Sanders was frying chicken
- 6:49Speaker 9: with a recipe that he was telling people was the.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Best chicken in the world.
- 6:53Speaker 9: Ain't nobody believe him till he turned seventy. Why you
- 6:58Speaker 9: think the dude that's only tucking fried chicken signs is old.
- 7:03Speaker 11: That dude ain't twenty up there he oh, he oh,
- 7:08Speaker 11: But you know what, he had been frying that chicken
- 7:12Speaker 11: for forty some years. They just found out about it
- 7:16Speaker 11: when he was seventy. But he didn't give up his
- 7:20Speaker 11: purpose in life. This dude was just frying chicken.
- 7:24Speaker 9: See, people keep looking for their gifts in all kinds
- 7:26Speaker 9: of places when it's right there in you. You ain't
- 7:28Speaker 9: got to go to school to find your gift. You're
- 7:31Speaker 9: born with the gift that God got for you. You'll
- 7:34Speaker 9: go to school to tack it on to something else.
- 7:37Speaker 9: But your gift was already given to you.
- 7:39Speaker 5: You were born with that.
- 7:40Speaker 9: You don't have to go to college to know your gift.
- 7:43Speaker 9: Your college allows you to enhance it and to find
- 7:45Speaker 9: something to attach it to, and hopefully you get a
- 7:48Speaker 9: degree that attaches your gift to a vehicle where.
- 7:52Speaker 2: It can work.
- 7:53Speaker 9: The problem with college is we go to college and
- 7:56Speaker 9: we attach it to what we like or what we
- 7:58Speaker 9: might be passionate about, if we ignore what a gift
- 8:00Speaker 9: we have. You know how many people and graduated from
- 8:02Speaker 9: college ain't doing nothing they went to college for. Come on, man,
- 8:06Speaker 9: you know why because you discover in life your gift.
- 8:08Speaker 9: You discover what you was born to do. I wasn't bought,
- 8:12Speaker 9: you know what I mean? You know what my major
- 8:13Speaker 9: was in college? It was advertising. I can't be at
- 8:17Speaker 9: no death, drawing, no picture for nobody. But now guess
- 8:20Speaker 9: what I can wake up every day and guess what
- 8:22Speaker 9: I can tell you?
- 8:23Speaker 2: I advertise. I've been advertising my career. Come see me live.
- 8:27Speaker 9: Come see me live at Madison Square guard Come see
- 8:31Speaker 9: me live at Phillips Winga. Come see me live at
- 8:33Speaker 9: Jokers Comedy Club. Come see me live at Percy's. Come
- 8:36Speaker 9: see me live at Elisis Tavin. Come see me live.
- 8:40Speaker 9: I've been advertising the whole time, but I had a
- 8:44Speaker 9: different purpose in mind because I went and I talked
- 8:47Speaker 9: to God. And this is how you do it, you
- 8:49Speaker 9: go talk to God and say, hey, God, look, okay,
- 8:52Speaker 9: this is the deal. I've been struggling here. I'm over
- 8:55Speaker 9: forty I still haven't found my purpose in life. Okay,
- 8:59Speaker 9: so I can quit wasting any more time. Would you
- 9:02Speaker 9: help direct me and guide me to my purpose? I
- 9:05Speaker 9: know you created me to do something. I just haven't
- 9:08Speaker 9: found what it is. And the reason I haven't found
- 9:11Speaker 9: what it is because I've been doing things my way.
- 9:13Speaker 9: I ain't been checking what you confirm with you on anything.
- 9:16Speaker 9: I ain't locked in or tried to settle it up
- 9:19Speaker 9: with you. I've been just doing my thing. Well, my
- 9:21Speaker 9: thing has gotten me as far as it can get me.
- 9:24Speaker 9: How about you take over and do your thing now?
- 9:27Speaker 9: Can you direct me in my path? I'm an open book.
- 9:31Speaker 9: Treat me like a piece of clay. I'm telling you, man,
- 9:34Speaker 9: if you go to God, he'll give it to you.
- 9:37Speaker 9: But see you have not because you ask not. How
- 9:41Speaker 9: many times have you asked God for it?
- 9:44Speaker 2: This ain't no magic trick, y'all. This is the deal.
- 9:48Speaker 9: You got to catch fire today. Catch fire today, I am.
- 9:52Speaker 9: I'm excited about today. I've got a lot to do.

- 10:13Speaker 9: the cutoff point. Ye're all in February talking about Happy

- 25:32Speaker 12: DMed me a new picture, and my wife saw it
- 25:34Speaker 12: and said, the only way she trust me is if
- 25:36Speaker 12: I deactivated my social media. I told her that would
- 25:40Speaker 12: never happen because I'm in contact with a lot of
- 25:42Speaker 12: my friends. Is there another way to regain her trust?
- 25:47Speaker 12: Let's say it all together. Christ, that's a lie.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Bro.
- 25:53Speaker 9: I don't know what you know, but bru, listen to me.
- 25:56Speaker 9: A woman DMed you a naked picture. You ain't got
- 26:00Speaker 9: nothing to do with that. If you don't have no
- 26:03Speaker 9: text threads with this woman, if you didn't respond to
- 26:07Speaker 9: this woman, then you you can't stop.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Nobody else from doing what they doing on this social media.

- 26:39Speaker 13: Earth.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Okay, all right, Well, moving.
- 26:42Speaker 9: On social media is entertaining. If you ain't got nothing
- 26:45Speaker 9: to do, just go to go to go to Instagram,
- 26:49Speaker 9: hit that search. But in that little circle with the
- 26:53Speaker 9: magnifying yes, well, I don't feel like it's people like me.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Oh, the only problem is my algorithm.
- 27:06Speaker 9: H It's mostly motivational and golf, so I have a
- 27:09Speaker 9: hard time finding debauchery on mine. And then and then
- 27:14Speaker 9: you just keep scrolling down and then somebody have a
- 27:17Speaker 9: woman down there shaking and going to hit that, and
- 27:19Speaker 9: then you just get a whole.

- 27:43Speaker 12: She said, if I feel like he's cheating, then he's cheating.
- 27:46Speaker 12: If I feel like he's cheating, then he's cheating. Did
- 27:50Speaker 12: she confirm my suspicion? Or did she say it because
- 27:53Speaker 12: she hates me?
- 27:55Speaker 11: Uh?
- 27:58Speaker 9: Somebody caught you sneaking round the side of the house
- 28:02Speaker 9: looking in your man's window late at night, and you
- 28:07Speaker 9: trying to figure out if she hates you or she
- 28:11Speaker 9: confirming your suspicion. Lady, if you crawling around the side
- 28:17Speaker 9: of somebody, girl, you don't understand, there's.
- 28:23Speaker 2: A deeper issue.
- 28:25Speaker 8: It.
- 28:26Speaker 9: It ain't got nothing to do with her. It's not
- 28:28Speaker 9: whether she confirms your suspicion or it's not if she
- 28:32Speaker 9: don't really like you, you have a deeper issue. You
- 28:36Speaker 9: crawling round outside they're trying to look in your man's window.
- 28:45Speaker 9: Is she confirming my look? Man, if I got to
- 28:47Speaker 9: do that, yeah, if I got to do that, I'm
- 28:51Speaker 9: not I'm not crawling outside I'm out.
- 28:55Speaker 5: Trust him at all.
- 28:55Speaker 2: Hey, can you imagine if I'm outside crawling and somebody goes.

- 29:16Speaker 2: I got to act like he ain't talking to me.
- 29:26Speaker 6: Guess the neighbors trying to say whatever you think. The
- 29:28Speaker 6: simplest reason is that's your intuition.

- 29:36Speaker 9: But first of all, she opened she opened the letter
- 29:38Speaker 9: with my boyfriend's neighbor don't like me? Okay, Coop, this

- 37:45Speaker 12: According to MSNBC. This past Monday, January sixth, Vice President
- 37:49Speaker 12: Kamala Harris had to preside over the certification session of
- 37:53Speaker 12: her electoral defeat. In addition, we all saw the viral
- 37:57Speaker 12: video of Nebraska Republican Senator Deb Fisher husband Bruce Fisher
- 38:01Speaker 12: ignoring Vice President Kamala Harris and attempting and her attempt
- 38:05Speaker 12: at congratulatory handshake during this wearing in ceremony for the
- 38:09Speaker 12: one hundred and nineteenth Congress. Thank you, Madame Vice President
- 38:13Speaker 12: Kamala Harris, for your class, your grace, your strength, and
- 38:15Speaker 12: your continued fight for democracy.
- 38:18Speaker 1: So, Steve, here's a question, what would you have done
- 38:21Speaker 1: in this situation? Have you been in a racist and
- 38:23Speaker 1: classless situation like this before?
- 38:27Speaker 2: Yeah? I would have just leaned into this year, you know,
- 38:29Speaker 2: and just you know, put my mom around him and
- 38:32Speaker 2: said you would have mumbled, I don't good nothing about
- 38:37Speaker 2: your podcast, and then and then kissed him on his ill.
- 38:44Speaker 9: Not the Godfather did in his ill real wit though obsensive.
- 38:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, if it's people like that. But
- 38:55Speaker 2: but just the class she has.
- 38:56Speaker 9: That's why I don't need to see. I don't need
- 38:58Speaker 9: to get into politics. I don't even need to be
- 39:00Speaker 9: in that because I'm not gonna you. Hey, oh you
- 39:03Speaker 9: ain't see my hand right your buck ass?
- 39:07Speaker 5: Okay?
- 39:08Speaker 2: And you holding the Bible? What's that about it?
- 39:11Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 39:11Speaker 1: That was the other thing. Have you opened it and
- 39:13Speaker 1: read anything in there?
- 39:15Speaker 9: No, man, they used that Bible as a just like
- 39:18Speaker 9: when Trump held it up from side down. They asked
- 39:21Speaker 9: Trump all the time, what's your favorite Bible verse? That's personal.
- 39:24Speaker 9: I don't want to get it. He don't know one,
- 39:28Speaker 9: kill no one and just and it's cool, he don't
- 39:31Speaker 9: know one.
- 39:32Speaker 2: That ain't what you do?
- 39:33Speaker 9: You you got no footage of Trump at church nowhere
- 39:37Speaker 9: unless it's a feeling.
- 39:40Speaker 5: Wait a minute, this it's a funeral. There's all the
- 39:43Speaker 5: time you go in.
- 39:44Speaker 2: I ain't never seen you know where somebody got to
- 39:47Speaker 2: die fit going? Have you ever seen it?
- 39:50Speaker 9: But it's cool, I mean, you know, but just what
- 39:52Speaker 9: he is, he's the president. I respect the office of
- 39:54Speaker 9: the presidency. You know, he's our president right now. There's
- 39:57Speaker 9: nothing we could do about it.
- 39:59Speaker 6: So what it is, absolutely and that's the problem with
- 40:03Speaker 6: this situation. He disrespected the office of the vice president.
- 40:08Speaker 5: Someone racist.
- 40:09Speaker 1: He doesn't, he doesn't.
- 40:12Speaker 9: Because, yeah, but it's racism, Yes, you can, you can
- 40:19Speaker 9: call it.
- 40:20Speaker 2: It's racism.
- 40:21Speaker 9: It's when they would yell out and talk to President
- 40:24Speaker 9: Obama when he was talking.
- 40:25Speaker 2: You're a liar, you know, just know he's not.
- 40:28Speaker 9: But the disrespect and the privilege though, the right that
- 40:33Speaker 9: you think because of who you think you are and
- 40:36Speaker 9: they aren't, allows you to use verbage and actions the
- 40:41Speaker 9: way you do. And it's okay, what's that lady Taylor Green,
- 40:46Speaker 9: you know, you know, the white lady with the bleach
- 40:48Speaker 9: butch body, bad bill.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Yeah, why she's still in office anyway?
- 40:57Speaker 1: Why all right?
- 41:02Speaker 12: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 41:04Speaker 12: talk about divorce.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Oh right after this, you're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 41:12Speaker 12: According to People magazine, Steve ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez
- 41:16Speaker 12: have settled their divorce, which will be finalized a week
- 41:19Speaker 12: after Valentine's Day. When Jalo and Ben wed thirty months ago,
- 41:23Speaker 12: they did not sign a prenup. The pair agreed to
- 41:26Speaker 12: a reasonable split of their finances. Each will keep what
- 41:29Speaker 12: they earned while married. Neither will provide spousal report. Took
- 41:34Speaker 12: Affleck's name when they married in the summer of twenty two.
- 41:37Speaker 12: She's asked the courts to return to her former name,
- 41:39Speaker 12: Jennifer Lynn Lopez. So here's a question, Steve. We know
- 41:42Speaker 12: divorce can be stressful. We know that any advice from you,
- 41:46Speaker 12: any does or don't that you can share for anyone
- 41:48Speaker 12: that is going through a divorce.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And what would you want to know? Just ask me
- 41:53Speaker 2: a question. There's so many levels. Would ask me a
- 41:56Speaker 2: question about it.
- 41:57Speaker 12: So will you ever you think you can move on
- 42:00Speaker 12: from this situation because it's like a death in the
- 42:03Speaker 12: family or something like that, How are you able to
- 42:05Speaker 12: move on?
- 42:06Speaker 4: No?
- 42:06Speaker 2: Mine, mine wasn't like a death in the family.
- 42:09Speaker 1: It wasn't.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Mine was like the birth of a new child man,
- 42:15Speaker 2: dawning of a new day.
- 42:16Speaker 4: It was.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Yeah, so you were, But how were you able to
- 42:19Speaker 1: do that? That's I was.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I was at the divorce court. Damn. It felt like
- 42:24Speaker 2: a baby shower. Yeah. I heard angels singing and rejoicing,
- 42:33Speaker 2: you know, light and stuff like that.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Just did you give?
- 42:38Speaker 2: Did you forgive?
- 42:39Speaker 4: Oh?
- 42:40Speaker 2: Did you forget? Did I forgive?
- 42:42Speaker 1: Uhh?
- 42:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 42:43Speaker 1: Because it takes that also to move on.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I can move on.
- 42:47Speaker 9: I can move on without forgiving. Oh yeah, I moved
- 42:51Speaker 9: right on without forgiving. So I've done that.
- 42:55Speaker 6: But there are some people right now, Yeah I'm going
- 42:58Speaker 6: through a divorce.
- 42:59Speaker 2: They're not ease. You know, they don't have.
- 43:04Speaker 9: Yeah, it's to say it's hard. Okay, here's the deal.
- 43:07Speaker 9: Divorce is hard.
- 43:08Speaker 2: But you can move on. But you have to understand
- 43:12Speaker 2: what the ending can represent.
- 43:15Speaker 9: If you not only look at it as an ending,
- 43:18Speaker 9: you can also look at it as a new beginning,
- 43:21Speaker 9: because that's what it has to be. But what crippled
- 43:25Speaker 9: you is when you stay in the ending phase. I
- 43:30Speaker 9: put all these years in and we ain't got nothing.
- 43:33Speaker 9: When you was in it, you didn't have nothing. That's
- 43:36Speaker 9: why you got a divorce. So to stay in something
- 43:42Speaker 9: that's not growing, fruitful, beneficial, helpful, why staying in that.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Is not good for you as a person.
- 43:54Speaker 9: So once you get the divorce, there is a transition
- 43:58Speaker 9: period where you realize it's over.
- 44:00Speaker 2: I'm not saying you don't grieve, you don't mourn it.
- 44:02Speaker 9: You can, but you got to pick yourself up because
- 44:06Speaker 9: let me tell you something, the other person is they
- 44:09Speaker 9: gonna pick up and move on now you can lay
- 44:12Speaker 9: down wallow when it is.
- 44:13Speaker 2: But very rarely do you see two people.
- 44:17Speaker 9: Just bemoan the divorce. Very rarely do you see the
- 44:21Speaker 9: man and the woman all it's the worst thing ever
- 44:23Speaker 9: happened to me. It's usually one person overjoy.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Parties all of that.
- 44:32Speaker 9: Yeah, it's usually one person, and in that I would
- 44:36Speaker 9: match that person's energy.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Yes, junior, I'm saying, when you get the court, do
- 44:41Speaker 3: y'all even speak or have a discussion before y'all talking.
- 44:44Speaker 2: No, don't try not to even look over there. Cut
- 44:47Speaker 2: your eyes.
- 44:47Speaker 9: You're gonna learn a lot of little stuff, Like you
- 44:49Speaker 9: know how to roll your eyes Like I never rolled
- 44:51Speaker 9: my eyes till I went to the divorce court. Then
- 44:53Speaker 9: I learned how to roll my eyes because you because
- 44:55Speaker 9: you ain't allowed to say nothing because you say something
- 44:58Speaker 9: what like I used to say when I first got
- 44:59Speaker 9: the boys, I would I didn't know.
- 45:01Speaker 2: You couldn't what? Man? Hell now, sir, sir, sir.
- 45:06Speaker 1: You cann't be held in content if you don't.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you can't say nothing. I'm going with Damn.
- 45:10Speaker 9: You just asked them and they just lied. Well, you
- 45:14Speaker 9: can't say nothing about to lie till you get up there. Yeah,
- 45:18Speaker 9: so I'm just tapping my lawyer writing stuff. I had
- 45:21Speaker 9: legal pad full of information. I thought I went to
- 45:23Speaker 9: law school. I was taking so many damn notes.
- 45:29Speaker 1: And now you can go to zoom court. You know
- 45:31Speaker 1: you can do that too.
- 45:32Speaker 9: They didn't have that when I would saying I had
- 45:34Speaker 9: to show up every time. Yeah, already losing enough.
- 45:45Speaker 5: The whole time, that.
- 45:49Speaker 9: Cussing under my brother, all right, and then when they
- 45:56Speaker 9: be lying, you can't say nothing. I be there, y'all
- 46:00Speaker 9: know you can't.
- 46:01Speaker 12: Junior's in for the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 46:04Speaker 12: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning

- 50:39Speaker 14: What I'm trying to do is pay you this. When

- 50:44Speaker 4: If you ain't me back to right If I know, brother,
- 50:47Speaker 4: you can't get right now. I'm not even no advice.
- 50:49Speaker 4: You need to listen to me. That's what's wrong with you.
- 50:52Speaker 4: Jump now, y'all crazy, get rich right off overnight type boy.
- 50:57Speaker 4: You need to slow down because they got some you
- 50:59Speaker 4: feel me, they got holdld on.
- 51:01Speaker 14: Man, hold on what you know? You don't know nothing.
- 51:03Speaker 14: You don't know, man, he needs to know you. Brother,
- 51:06Speaker 14: how you gonna be preaching to may dog?
- 51:07Speaker 4: Because I've been there, man, I be's on. I'm priving
- 51:10Speaker 4: the limo because I've been that young brother. I'm trying
- 51:12Speaker 4: to keep you from going there because you won't like it.
- 51:15Speaker 4: Look at Tony, I don't know what to tell you
- 51:17Speaker 4: at this point. First of all, I'm not doing it,
- 51:18Speaker 4: so you kept that out. Okay, Now I'm thinking of
- 51:21Speaker 4: you and all the other young brothers that do this thumb.
- 51:24Speaker 4: You watch too many of the movies or something. Brother,
- 51:26Speaker 4: you need to get your straight because they got a

- 51:34Speaker 14: They cut it out.
- 51:35Speaker 4: Do you feel me? They looked at me every night
- 51:37Speaker 4: where they wanted to had me garbage that I had
- 51:40Speaker 4: to eat or die. You ain't ready for that, man,
- 51:42Speaker 4: You ain't ready for what think he got your lane?
- 51:45Speaker 4: You brothers don't know what going on out here. You
- 51:47Speaker 4: got it too easy. See now you're talking to going
- 51:49Speaker 4: down there robbing the bank. You ain't no bank ropper.
- 51:52Speaker 4: You don't sound like no funer. Go with a Ralmo

- 56:24Speaker 3: Joma, it's time for the Strawberry Letter with my good
- 56:26Speaker 3: friend Shirley Strawberry.
- 56:29Speaker 1: Thank you, my good friend, Junior.
- 56:31Speaker 12: Subject I've found out too late here Stephen Shirley. Early
- 56:36Speaker 12: last year, I met a woman online that swept me
- 56:39Speaker 12: off my feet. We talked for hours on the phone,
- 56:43Speaker 12: and we facetimed every night until we fell asleep. We
- 56:46Speaker 12: did that for a month, and then we started dating
- 56:49Speaker 12: but not having sex. She lived with her mom, so
- 56:52Speaker 12: she wouldn't spend the night with me, even though she's
- 56:54Speaker 12: thirty five years old. I understood, so I would take
- 56:58Speaker 12: her back home when it got late. After a few
- 57:01Speaker 12: months of grinding on each other, it was time to
- 57:04Speaker 12: have sex. She said she wanted to get married first
- 57:07Speaker 12: because she was tired of having sex without commitment. I
- 57:10Speaker 12: proposed to her on her birthday at her mom's house.
- 57:14Speaker 12: We had a small wedding on a rooftop, and then
- 57:17Speaker 12: she moved in with me about forty miles from her
- 57:20Speaker 12: mom's house. The first night we spent together was not
- 57:24Speaker 12: good at all because she ate something that didn't agree
- 57:27Speaker 12: with her, and she was in the bathroom all night.
- 57:31Speaker 12: I opened some windows and tried not to think about it.
- 57:36Speaker 12: Over the first week or so, we were enjoying sex,
- 57:39Speaker 12: a lot of sex, but I noticed that something wasn't
- 57:42Speaker 12: right about it, and I nicely asked her to take
- 57:45Speaker 12: better care of her personal hygiene. She started bathing before
- 57:49Speaker 12: bedtime and washing up before work. I lost interest in
- 57:53Speaker 12: being intimate for a while, but I knew our marriage
- 57:56Speaker 12: would not survive if I didn't have sex with my wife.
- 58:00Speaker 12: Much stuff about her changed after she moved in. I
- 58:03Speaker 12: had only seen her in wigs or with braids, so
- 58:06Speaker 12: I was shocked that she started wearing her short afro
- 58:09Speaker 12: to work, even after I offered to pay to get her.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Hair done every week. She's a mess.
- 58:15Speaker 12: My house is a mess, and she can't get along
- 58:17Speaker 12: with my housekeeper. I found out about her too late.
- 58:21Speaker 12: Do I have to keep trying, or can I send
- 58:23Speaker 12: this woman back to her mama's house. Well that is
- 58:26Speaker 12: a question. Only you can answer that part. But I'll
- 58:29Speaker 12: tell you right now this is not good and I'm
- 58:32Speaker 12: sure that's why she was single in the first place.
- 58:34Speaker 12: She was fooling everyone she probably came in contact with
- 58:37Speaker 12: and tried to be intimate with. She sent her representative
- 58:40Speaker 12: on the first few dates with you, and then the
- 58:43Speaker 12: real her didn't come out until after the marriage, when
- 58:47Speaker 12: it was too late. Personal hygiene is always a deal breaker.
- 58:52Speaker 12: I don't care who it is, how beautiful you are,
- 58:55Speaker 12: all of that. Personal hygiene is always a deal breaker.
- 58:58Speaker 12: And if you can't stand it, I'm glad you let
- 59:00Speaker 12: her know. You said you told her nicely, but obviously
- 59:04Speaker 12: she still didn't get it. But you've got to let
- 59:06Speaker 12: her know you can't stay in a marriage like that.
- 59:08Speaker 12: If she doesn't clean herself up, you'll be gone. You
- 59:10Speaker 12: gotta tell her you took a chance anyway when you
- 59:13Speaker 12: married her so quickly and without really really knowing her.
- 59:17Speaker 12: That was sounds like you say, love, but desperation maybe
- 59:21Speaker 12: on your part because you didn't know much about her
- 59:24Speaker 12: when you proposed. I say, if you really can't stand this,
- 59:29Speaker 12: and personal hygiene is an issue which it should be
- 59:32Speaker 12: get out now before you know. I can't just get
- 59:37Speaker 12: out now. That's all I gotta say. Personal hygiene too
- 59:40Speaker 12: much of an issue, Steve.
- 59:42Speaker 2: Yeah, okay.
- 59:42Speaker 9: Well, Shirley said in her response to you to the letter,
- 59:48Speaker 9: this is a question that she can't answer for you
- 59:50Speaker 9: because you wanted to know.
- 59:51Speaker 2: Can you send her back to her mom?
- 59:54Speaker 9: Well, this is a question I can answer. I don't
- 59:59Speaker 9: have no damn providing my answer, and I will, and
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: I think you're gonna agree with me. So let's just
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: say before we get started, this letter that I'm about
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: to read is about. This letter is not called uh,
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: I learned too late. The name of this letter is
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: damn it. It's over.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: That's the subject.
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: Yeah, damn it, it's over. I can't find the letter
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: because I lost it on my phone.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I found too late. Is the real subject?
- 1:00:34Speaker 9: Yeah, I found out too late. It's the real subject
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: that the subject to me is damn it, I'm gone.
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: Last year, he met this woman online that swept him
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: off his feet, face timed.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Every night till they fell asleep. Did that for a month.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: Then they started dating, but they wasn't having no sex,
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: and she knew not to have no sex or else
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: this dayton was gonna end before so y'all dated. Then
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: she was living with her mama, so she wouldn't spend
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: the night with me. That ain't why she ain't spend
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: the night with She ain't spend the night with you,
- 1:01:13Speaker 9: because she got to set this hook deep because a
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: lot of people don't escape this one before. And she
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: says that in the letter. And even though she's thirty
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: five years old, I understood, so I would take her
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: back home when it got late.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: After a few months of grinding on each other.
- 1:01:31Speaker 9: See right here, right here, months of grinding right putting
- 1:01:37Speaker 9: pressure on it, you know, getting it worked up. I'm
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: talking about hot and barb. Well, after months of grinding,
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: it was time to have sex. Then she said I
- 1:01:49Speaker 9: wanted to get married first because she was tired of
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: having sex with our commitment.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: This was a tell tale sign right there.
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: If you've had a lot of sex and nobody has
- 1:02:03Speaker 9: ever wanted to marry you either two things. The sex
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: was not good enough to hold their attention all you
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: this woman in this letter, Now let's see which one
- 1:02:18Speaker 9: this was. So she said she wasn't having sex without
- 1:02:22Speaker 9: a commitment. I proposed to her on her birthday. I'll
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: be damn getting married.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Yes, so you can have some sex. Oh, hang on, Steve, Uh, okay.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: We'll have part two.
- 1:02:37Speaker 12: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:02:40Speaker 12: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's subject Steve changes
- 1:02:43Speaker 12: though I found out too late, but you.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Changed it to what Steve, damn it, it's over.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: I'm gone. Yeah, all right, right after this, did you.
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: Know you can now buy a Hondai on Amazon, the
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: same place that's where you order yoga mats, a toothbrush,
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: and pretty much everything else, all from the comfort of
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: your home, just located nearby dealer. Pick your color, your options,
- 1:03:09Speaker 9: check the price, and with a few dotting of some
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: eyes and crossing some tea's, whaila, your Hondai is ready
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: for pick up.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: It's that easy.
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: Visit Honda USA dot com for more details. Limited availability
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: pick up through participating Hondai dealers and select markets.
- 1:03:26Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:28Speaker 12: The subject is I found out too late, but.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: You changed it.
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: Yep, I found out too late, because Shirley said at
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: the end of the letter, Can I deal with this
- 1:03:38Speaker 9: woman or can I send her back to her mama?
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: Sureley said, And her proper response was, it's not up
- 1:03:44Speaker 9: for me to tell you that. That's up to you.
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: My response to that question is you did right in
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: to me. I have no problem with shared with you
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: my direct opinion of what I think should happen. All
- 1:03:59Speaker 9: you met a woman online, swept you off your feet
- 1:04:01Speaker 9: FaceTime every night, fell in love, started dating, but you
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: didn't have sex. She lived with a mama, so you
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: spend it with wouldn't spend the night with you, even
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: though she thirty five. I understood, so I would take
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: her back home when he got late. After a few
- 1:04:15Speaker 9: months of grinding on each other, it was time to
- 1:04:18Speaker 9: have sex. She wanted to get married first because she
- 1:04:23Speaker 9: was tired of having sex with our commitment. Good move, ladies,
- 1:04:27Speaker 9: way to hold you made a way to get some
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: value from yourself.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: I got no problem with this. But this was based
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: on this letter trickery because she no Once.
- 1:04:40Speaker 9: He get what he looking for and he find out
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: what it is, it's probably gonna be a problem anyway.
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: So I proposed to her on her birthday at her
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: mama's house. We had a small wed and on the rooftop.
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: She might this must be a rooftop somewhere else, because
- 1:04:57Speaker 9: I ain't been over nobody girl house.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: But we have them wearing on rooftop. I ain't.
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: I ain't been to nobody house, nobody house. We had
- 1:05:05Speaker 9: no wind up on rooftop. They must went down to
- 1:05:08Speaker 9: an apartment building or something country. Most roofs I've seen
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: would be hard to stand up there. But anyway, about
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: forty had she moved in with me, about forty miles
- 1:05:19Speaker 9: from my mama house.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: The first night we spent together was not good at
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: all because she ate something that didn't agree with her,
- 1:05:27Speaker 9: and she was in the bathroom all night. I opened
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: some windows and tried not to think about it. Now,
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: let's go over this line right here. I opened some windows.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: I knew it now that means. That means not just
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: in the bathroom.
- 1:05:47Speaker 9: This had got all out in the hall, was getting
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: then towards the guest quarter.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: It was down there in the dining room, all up
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: by the front.
- 1:05:57Speaker 9: Dope, you don't open up some windows and let me
- 1:06:01Speaker 9: tell you something, I'm a man. Now, you can't come
- 1:06:04Speaker 9: in that bathroom right after me it's not recommended. You
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: have got to learn to flush as we go. You
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: cannot sit there.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: You have got to flush and go. My mama told
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: me that if you hear splash, flush, gosh what you say?
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: Don't wait on flush?
- 1:06:29Speaker 18: Flush, don't sit in there waiting to unload. You got
- 1:06:33Speaker 18: to just keep flushing. Boy, okay, to open the bunch.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: If you hear splash, you must flush, we blush, you go.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: You need to know this man say no time, sit
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: in here and mind your work and all that. And
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: that ain't what you do as you go. That for
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: don't say that.
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: All right, here we go. Over the first week or so,
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: we were enjoying sex, a lot of sex, but I
- 1:07:11Speaker 9: noticed something wasn't right about it, and I asked her
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: to take better care of her personal height. Now we
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: all know what this means, and we don't have to
- 1:07:21Speaker 9: be graphic. I'm not gonna do that to you. But
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: if a man has to tell you you need to
- 1:07:29Speaker 9: do something. After he said, we were enjoying sex, a
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: lot of sex, but then I noticed something wasn't right.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: That means it was good, but what is what is that?
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: What is.
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: He was doing? He was doing stuff? And just what
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: he was doing. Woo lord, I'm telling you what is.
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: Ah?
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: Baby, I'm working it now. I got you okay, all right,
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: oh baby, I got you now. Oh I got it working?
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: Whose is it? Who?
- 1:08:02Speaker 14: What?
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: What is it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: In?
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: Man?
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Did you? Did you eat again?
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: What is?
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: What is going on?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: She started bathing before bedtime and washing up before work.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: What I ain't I've never had a woman. I've had
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: to say this. I've never most women. Most women.
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: Let me just say, ladies, thank you, because most of
- 1:08:35Speaker 9: y'all take excellent care of yourself. But when you got
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: to tell them and then she said, I lost interest
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: in being intimate for a while, but I knew our
- 1:08:45Speaker 9: marriage wouldn't survive if we didn't have sex with my wife.
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: So much stuff about her changed after she moved in.
- 1:08:52Speaker 9: I'd only seen in wigs and braids, and I was shocked.
- 1:08:54Speaker 9: And she started wearing her short aufrow to work. Then

- 1:13:38Speaker 12: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,

- 1:13:50Speaker 1: He's quote too tough to wear proper.
- 1:13:53Speaker 12: Winter gear and refuses to bundle up even when we're
- 1:13:56Speaker 12: outside in the freezing cold. But then he canplains about
- 1:14:00Speaker 12: how cold it is and shivers the whole time. Should
- 1:14:03Speaker 12: I call him out on his ridiculousness or just let
- 1:14:06Speaker 12: him continue to suffer?
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: That is Christie's I.
- 1:14:09Speaker 9: Mean, I'm pretty sure you said something to him, but
- 1:14:12Speaker 9: you know, I'm pretty sure you said something to him,
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: So I don't know what you know? You know, but
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: you know they got some stuff out there that that
- 1:14:20Speaker 9: will help you, you know, you know, pneumonia, the flu,
- 1:14:26Speaker 9: you know, stuff like that. You know, bring your ass
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: right on background, you know.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: I don't, I don't.
- 1:14:33Speaker 9: I don't know why you're fighting fighting. You're not gonna

- 1:14:54Speaker 5: Yeah, you too tough to bundle up.
- 1:14:58Speaker 9: I'm I'm assuming since she said she's blue Eyes Soul listening,
- 1:15:01Speaker 9: I'm assuming that a boyfriend is white and that he
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: don't have sickle, saying that's what I'm gonna go.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I think so.
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: Yeah, you know they dressed, you know, shorts, sure, yeah,

- 1:15:35Speaker 1: This, Yeah, all right. Moving on to Jay on Steve
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Harvey f M.
- 1:15:43Speaker 12: Jay says, I think my roommate had may have a
- 1:15:45Speaker 12: gambling problem the last couple of months, when I asked
- 1:15:48Speaker 12: him for rent and build money, he made jokes about
- 1:15:51Speaker 12: needing to see how his parlays come in. First, I
- 1:15:54Speaker 12: think he's joking, but I do catch him on betting
- 1:15:58Speaker 12: sites and talking about it a lot. I personally don't
- 1:16:01Speaker 12: care what he does to entertain himself unless it starts
- 1:16:05Speaker 12: affecting my ability to pay the bills. So what's the
- 1:16:08Speaker 12: best way to address this with him?
- 1:16:11Speaker 9: Well, I mean he has an obligation to play a
- 1:16:14Speaker 9: certain amount of money on the rent I'm assuming.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Now joking about he got to see what is paul
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: A doing and all like that. Well, that's fine.
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: I don't want to hear all that, but our rent
- 1:16:23Speaker 9: do on the first we got to the fifth. Now
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: I need the money. Now, as long as he coming
- 1:16:30Speaker 9: up with the money, then it ain't your business. And
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: does he gamble? Yes, he gambled anytime.
- 1:16:36Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:16:37Speaker 9: People who don't gamble do not have the word parlay
- 1:16:39Speaker 9: in their vocabity. I'm just gonna tell you that right now.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Right Shirley.
- 1:16:46Speaker 9: Shirley has never said Paulay, never heard Monica Bonds has
- 1:16:50Speaker 9: never said Paulay. I don't really say Paula because I'm
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: not in the gambling like that. My gambling is different.
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: My gambling is Vegas. You out here betting horses and
- 1:16:59Speaker 9: game and stuff like that. I only bet I got.
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: I got a betting sight that I use, and you know,
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: draft kings and and I'm up in there and I
- 1:17:09Speaker 9: know how to bet.
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: I'm betting wins and lost.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I don't use parlay.
- 1:17:15Speaker 6: Why you didn't say that, you said Shirley and Monica,
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: Why you didn't say Carlo?
- 1:17:20Speaker 9: Well, call it kind of tricky, oh, Colin. She dabbled
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: in the hood. Yeah, she got she she'll do a parla.
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: She got a hub and so she she did have
- 1:17:31Speaker 9: messed around with a Paul. But the mother too. I
- 1:17:34Speaker 9: don't really do parlay's. I just do like straight up bets.
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: That's how I bet on fights, mm a fights games.
- 1:17:40Speaker 9: I don't bet on no college games. I don't bet
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: on no basketball games. I bet on football. No, it's
- 1:17:47Speaker 9: too many damn basketball games.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: You played a lottery?
- 1:17:52Speaker 9: No, I mean, I'm well, last time I played, I
- 1:17:56Speaker 9: bought two hundred tickets. The man got mad at to
- 1:17:59Speaker 9: give somebody else chance.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Hey, man.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Rich, Yeah, that's what he told me.
- 1:18:08Speaker 9: Oh he'll Billy had the truck stown. Why don't you
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: give somebody else a chance? Hey, y'all, come here by

- 1:18:33Speaker 12: evacuation in Pacific Palisades and other areas in southern California.
- 1:18:38Speaker 12: A fast moving brush fire erupted in Los Angeles on Tuesday,
- 1:18:42Speaker 12: forcing thousands, I mean thousands of evacuations and prompting a
- 1:18:47Speaker 12: state of emergency. Strong winds are what fuel the blaze,
- 1:18:51Speaker 12: which quickly drew to nearly three thousand acres. The fire
- 1:18:55Speaker 12: jump the Pacific Coast Highway, threatening homes and reaching near will.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Rogers Bach State Park.

- 1:19:06Speaker 12: Governor Gavin Newsom and the City of Los Angeles have
- 1:19:09Speaker 12: declared a state of emergency. Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin
- 1:19:14Speaker 12: Crowley says several structures have been damaged and that ten
- 1:19:18Speaker 12: thousand households are threatened. Overnight, another fire dubbed the Eton Fire,
- 1:19:24Speaker 12: ignited in Altadena and in Pasadena and has burned more
- 1:19:28Speaker 12: than a thousand acres with no containment. The strong winds
- 1:19:32Speaker 12: have also ignited the Hearst Fire in Santa Clarita, which
- 1:19:35Speaker 12: has consumed five hundred acres. I'm sure a lot of
- 1:19:39Speaker 12: us have relative friends in this area. Please go to

- 1:25:22Speaker 9: that didn't really happen. They got people's using AI voices
- 1:25:28Speaker 9: putting it to if you watch the person's mouth real closely,
- 1:25:31Speaker 9: is not them saying those words at all. And they
- 1:25:34Speaker 9: got everything out there, man, So listen to me, y'all
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: be conscious of how social media really works, and don't
- 1:25:45Speaker 9: allow social media to be the check point, the balance
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: and the direction for your life. You will not survive
- 1:25:59Speaker 9: that way. You have got to keep this social media
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: thing under wraps in your mind. First of all, stop
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: allowing people who don't know you. Stop allowing people who
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: don't have your best interests at heart control what you
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: think about yourself.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: And your moves.
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: Stop giving people that power. Don't give a person power
- 1:26:28Speaker 9: over you that has none. You know, I say this
- 1:26:31Speaker 9: one hundred times on this show. Martin Luther King said
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: it best. He said, a man can't ride your back
- 1:26:36Speaker 9: unless you bend over. Do not succumb to social media.
- 1:26:42Speaker 9: Stop this need for clicks and likes to the point
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: where the moment somebody say something about you has got
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: you all turn upside down.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: Man, stop doing that, I promise you. In twenty twenty five,
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: as I approach my sixty eighth birthday.
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: I can assure you God, let me live the old
- 1:27:06Speaker 9: I've gotten, the less I care about what somebody say
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: or think about me. People online just hating. You know
- 1:27:15Speaker 9: why they hating because day life is miserable. Look hurt people,
- 1:27:19Speaker 9: hurt people, sad. People try to make you sad. Evil
- 1:27:26Speaker 9: people do evil things, and it's just the sad truth
- 1:27:31Speaker 9: of it is that social media platform is to playground
- 1:27:35Speaker 9: for it. So look at this right here. Half the time,
- 1:27:39Speaker 9: if you look up half the people that's talking about you,
- 1:27:41Speaker 9: they either got a private page or they got so
- 1:27:44Speaker 9: few followers it don't even somebody dogging me got two
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: hundred followers.
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: Man, by.
- 1:27:53Speaker 9: Stop allowing clicks, baits and comments to ruin your day
- 1:27:59Speaker 9: and direct your path.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: All it is is a distraction to throw you off
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: course from where you are headed.
- 1:28:07Speaker 9: Do you know in twenty twenty five that you have
- 1:28:09Speaker 9: the right to make a decision that you gonna get
- 1:28:13Speaker 9: with God and y'all gonna make it. Do you know
- 1:28:16Speaker 9: you have that power that you can actually do that
- 1:28:20Speaker 9: you can actually say to God, Hey, God, I'm with
- 1:28:23Speaker 9: you because I know you with me.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: This is my plan.
- 1:28:28Speaker 9: Now could you line it up with yours? Show me
- 1:28:30Speaker 9: what's right about my plan, and help me design a
- 1:28:33Speaker 9: plan that's in your will, and let's get to start
- 1:28:36Speaker 9: making a success out of my life. You get to
- 1:28:40Speaker 9: make that decision. Man, I don't care what y'all say.
- 1:28:47Speaker 9: If it's negative about me, you don't even know me.
- 1:28:51Speaker 9: And you know what, somebody taught me this, They say. Man,
- 1:28:55Speaker 9: if a person don't have your cell phone number, they
- 1:28:58Speaker 9: don't really know you. You think about that, y'all, everybody
- 1:29:03Speaker 9: really know you got your sale number, or everybody that
- 1:29:07Speaker 9: you don't mind knowing you has your sale number. Are
- 1:29:11Speaker 9: people you're trying to develop a relationship with, whether it's
- 1:29:15Speaker 9: business or acquaintance or friendship. Or whatever, they have your
- 1:29:19Speaker 9: sale number. The rest of them people, they don't have
- 1:29:21Speaker 9: your number. If they matter to you, they'd have your number.
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 1:29:28Speaker 9: Stop allowing clicks, likes and comments to direct your life.
- 1:29:35Speaker 9: It's nothing but a distraction. I can't tell you, man,
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: how many times my life will be going along. You
- 1:29:42Speaker 9: ever have your life just going along, just going, having
- 1:29:44Speaker 9: a good day, and then somebody you know, reach out
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: to you and go, hey, man, you all right?
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: Did you hear what they said about you? Man?
- 1:29:54Speaker 9: You know what, whenever somebody does that to me, I
- 1:29:58Speaker 9: stop them and I block them, because, man, if you
- 1:30:03Speaker 9: so small minded that you think you finna call me
- 1:30:06Speaker 9: with these little crumb snatch your mestice on this in
- 1:30:09Speaker 9: and at about something somebody say about me. You and
- 1:30:12Speaker 9: your wife, man, y'all good. I just want to make you,
- 1:30:15Speaker 9: y'all good. Marjorie okay, man, Me and Marjorie fine. Me
- 1:30:20Speaker 9: and Marjorie don't have no marital problems.
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:30:24Speaker 9: We like any other married couple. We got our days, man,
- 1:30:27Speaker 9: where we where we ain't seeing out of our own stuff.
- 1:30:29Speaker 9: I'm like any other Mary Coode. But marital problems we
- 1:30:32Speaker 9: don't have that. We ain't in no trouble, none of that,
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: So I don't care what nobody say. Man, they done
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: broke us up so many times, they done had us
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: cheating on each other, lying on each other. Man, I
- 1:30:44Speaker 9: don't even care. Listen, y'all, stop caring about people who
- 1:30:48Speaker 9: don't know you. Get your relationship with God, map up
- 1:30:52Speaker 9: your plan for twenty twenty five. Get in touch with God,
- 1:30:56Speaker 9: get your gratitude together, get your determination together, and you
- 1:30:59Speaker 9: and God set the course and the path for your life.
- 1:31:03Speaker 9: And don't let these people who are haters and they
- 1:31:06Speaker 9: sayers have a directional impact on your life. Don't give
- 1:31:11Speaker 9: them nothing in twenty twenty five. You get nothing. Those
- 1:31:15Speaker 9: are my clothes and remarks.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: Y'all.
- 1:31:17Speaker 9: Stay on the wall, stay on the high road, and
- 1:31:21Speaker 9: go on to have a great twenty twenty five. Y'all
- 1:31:23Speaker 9: have a good one, see y'all of them all
