- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve Harten to move together for Steve, Please, Moby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You're doing me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turning them. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn't got to turn them out the water, the water. Come,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back at it. Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 1: A good morning everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man. If y'all only knew, I
- 2:15Speaker 1: think I'll tell it to you this morning man started
- 2:18Speaker 1: off real crazy. But it's just those little mishaps where
- 2:23Speaker 1: we as people who are striving to be successful that
- 2:28Speaker 1: makes all the difference in the world. When you have
- 2:30Speaker 1: those little minor things that come up, you can't let
- 2:34Speaker 1: the minor things stop you. You've got to keep pressing forward. Now,
- 2:39Speaker 1: could I have played the role of where is my car?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Where is my car? Oh? Where is my car? Instead
- 2:47Speaker 1: of hustling and grab a cab? So what am I? Am?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I above a cab? Ride now, or do I have
- 2:55Speaker 1: to look at the bigger picture and say, okay, I
- 2:57Speaker 1: could act like a little spoiled brat sometimes a star
- 3:00Speaker 1: and go I don't ride in cabs or where as
- 3:03Speaker 1: my car and then go to blaming people for not
- 3:05Speaker 1: having a car, Or do I make the adjustments because
- 3:07Speaker 1: ain't like I ain't been in a cab before? Now
- 3:09Speaker 1: slow down? Ain't like I ain't never been in a
- 3:12Speaker 1: in a beat up car before. Slow down? Ain't ever
- 3:15Speaker 1: like I ain't never had a carb and roll the
- 3:17Speaker 1: bus before? Slow down? Ain't like I ain't never been
- 3:21Speaker 1: homeless before? And they have nowhere to go? Slow down.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So in those moments right there, always remember where you
- 3:29Speaker 1: come from, but even more importantly, always remember where you're
- 3:33Speaker 1: trying to go, because it's important for me that I
- 3:36Speaker 1: get here as many mornings as I possibly can. It's
- 3:40Speaker 1: important because that's the goal. And so many people allowed
- 3:43Speaker 1: a minor things to stop them on their road to success.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And I'm giving you this example today not to say hey,
- 3:50Speaker 1: look at me, but to say to you, hey, listening
- 3:52Speaker 1: to me. There are going to be a lot of
- 3:54Speaker 1: things that's gonna happen along your way to being successful,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and if you allow the small things to stop you,
- 4:00Speaker 1: there's no way you'll make it. You've got to always
- 4:02Speaker 1: press forward and stop looking at the situation for what
- 4:05Speaker 1: it is and look. Sometimes you have to take your
- 4:07Speaker 1: offer right now and put your eye in the future.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You know, God has blessed me in so many ways.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I mean, what can I say? You know, I ask
- 4:14Speaker 1: God for this syndicated show. He gives me a syndicated show.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Now I act like I don't want to come to it.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Hold on, man, slow down. Did not you ask for this?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Do I not realize that there are certain people, man,
- 4:26Speaker 1: who look forward to this message in the morning. I've
- 4:29Speaker 1: heard it from people, So from the hundreds that I've
- 4:33Speaker 1: heard it for, that could represent thousands for all I know.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So if I think somebody's counting on me, I got
- 4:40Speaker 1: to try to get there and give something. So today
- 4:43Speaker 1: I didn't have any time at all to think about
- 4:45Speaker 1: what I might say. I just walked right in and
- 4:47Speaker 1: the jingle was playing, and so I decided to just
- 4:50Speaker 1: tell you about my day and maybe you can relate
- 4:52Speaker 1: it to something you're going through alone the way, Because
- 4:55Speaker 1: no matter who you are, you're going to have some moments. Man,
- 4:58Speaker 1: where things are going to happen. And like I always
- 5:01Speaker 1: tell my kids, and I just had this conversation with
- 5:03Speaker 1: my little girl, it ain't that things ain't gonna happen.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It's how you handle what happens that matters. But it
- 5:10Speaker 1: don't matter. It's how you handle what happens that's the
- 5:14Speaker 1: determining factor on where you get in life and how
- 5:17Speaker 1: soon you get there and how long you stay there.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That will always be a mishap, something that's gonna throw
- 5:25Speaker 1: you off. That will always be something man that could
- 5:28Speaker 1: deter you. That will be something somewhere man that will
- 5:32Speaker 1: make you doubt it. Now that you know that's gonna happen,
- 5:36Speaker 1: then let's talk about how you handle what happens, because
- 5:39Speaker 1: it's going to happen. So now what do you do
- 5:42Speaker 1: as a person when these moments come about in your life?
- 5:45Speaker 1: How do you handle? Oh? Woe is me? Oh? I
- 5:49Speaker 1: guess it wasn't meant to be? Well, if the Lord
- 5:52Speaker 1: wanted me to have this, I'd have that. How many
- 5:55Speaker 1: deal how many times you hear people say that? You know, man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: it really irks me. Man. Stop using God as your excuse.
- 6:03Speaker 1: God ain't no excuse. God is a reason He's a
- 6:07Speaker 1: reason why the good happens. He's a reason. He's not
- 6:12Speaker 1: an excuse. God don't have no excuses in none of
- 6:16Speaker 1: his scriptures or writings, not that I but he just
- 6:18Speaker 1: don't make excuses. I would have done this. But you
- 6:22Speaker 1: know there's a scripture that says the poor will all
- 6:26Speaker 1: shall always be amongst us. Why that's got to be you. Yeah,
- 6:30Speaker 1: he said the poor will always be amongst us, because
- 6:32Speaker 1: you know, everybody ain't gonna follow the principles of success.
- 6:36Speaker 1: But he also said he came to give you life
- 6:38Speaker 1: and give it to you more abundantly. He said that too.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But oh no, you don't want to hear that because
- 6:43Speaker 1: your life kind of trip it out a little bit.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So now what you do with it? Now, you twist
- 6:47Speaker 1: it and you go to that one little scripture that
- 6:50Speaker 1: say well, the poor shall always be amongst us. Well,
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's put in there because that's a that's suggests in case. See,
- 6:58Speaker 1: that's a just in case y'all don't want to follow
- 7:01Speaker 1: the scriptures. That's just in case you don't understand that
- 7:04Speaker 1: faith without works is dead. That's just in case you
- 7:08Speaker 1: have not because you ask not. It's just in case
- 7:12Speaker 1: you don't believe in shall not doubt he got all
- 7:14Speaker 1: that in there. But in case you don't want to
- 7:16Speaker 1: do that, there is a scripture that tells you who
- 7:19Speaker 1: don't happen if you don't do it, And here it
- 7:22Speaker 1: is the poor shall always be a monster. But then
- 7:24Speaker 1: you get that when they say, well, hell, that's I
- 7:26Speaker 1: guess that's the Lord's will. Lord's will, really, really, really
- 7:31Speaker 1: really that's amazing. I just don't believe that about him.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I don't believe that God created your life to be
- 7:39Speaker 1: a life of misery. I think that we make decisions
- 7:44Speaker 1: along the way that caused us to have lives of misery.
- 7:47Speaker 1: But I really really just don't believe that God created
- 7:51Speaker 1: you for that. I've heard Nelson Mandela speak, and you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: you gotta go wild. All those years in prison, man,
- 8:02Speaker 1: what was it about. When you hear him speak, you
- 8:05Speaker 1: understand what it was about. He said he always knew
- 8:09Speaker 1: he would be free one day. Now, what he said
- 8:12Speaker 1: he never knew was he said he never knew that
- 8:15Speaker 1: he would be the president of that country. Oh my goodness,
- 8:21Speaker 1: what a long way around. But he could have sat
- 8:24Speaker 1: there and got involved in prison activities that wasn't up
- 8:28Speaker 1: to pawing things like that, and they said whenever young
- 8:32Speaker 1: inmates used to come in. He was telling the story
- 8:34Speaker 1: one time of how young inmates used to come into
- 8:36Speaker 1: the prison. They all sit around and talk to him
- 8:39Speaker 1: about what they were doing and how many kids they
- 8:41Speaker 1: had in their lives, and it helped them keep track
- 8:44Speaker 1: of the outside a little bit, and it kept a
- 8:46Speaker 1: sense of time for them, and it reminded them in
- 8:49Speaker 1: to talk about what they left behind, and it kept
- 8:51Speaker 1: them going because something was greater on the other side.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Had he allowed that to stop him, had he allowed
- 9:00Speaker 1: the imprisonment, which is a pretty major deal. Oh, by
- 9:02Speaker 1: the way, then guess what he would have never been?
- 9:05Speaker 1: To Nelson Mandela that we know to day, a martyr,
- 9:08Speaker 1: a leader, a great force. People want to go around him.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Even people that imprisoned him could not understand his staunch strength,
- 9:17Speaker 1: his faith, his unwavering commitment. They couldn't understand it. So
- 9:22Speaker 1: things are going to happen in your life. But it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: how you handle what happens doesn't matter. So keep pushing, y'all.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Don't let the little things get in the way, okay,
- 9:29Speaker 1: And if you just sometimes you just don't know. I
- 9:32Speaker 1: got in the cab thinking I wasn't gonna make it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but at least let's go see, let's try. I made it. Now.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Guess what that gives me? Another piece of information that
- 9:41Speaker 1: I have and all I had to see it again
- 9:44Speaker 1: to date. Guess what I said today. Man, Sometimes when
- 9:47Speaker 1: it looked like you aren't gonna make it, just go
- 9:49Speaker 1: head on anywhere. Now. I could still be back there
- 9:51Speaker 1: at the hotel till I wear my car, but I
- 9:53Speaker 1: got up in here made it. So now what y'all
- 9:56Speaker 1: gonna do with it? Let's go you're listening show ladies
- 10:02Speaker 1: and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention, please, I have
- 10:06Speaker 1: an announcement to make that this day that we are
- 10:10Speaker 1: currently being blessed to be a part of today it
- 10:14Speaker 1: is on and cracking. Today is one of those three
- 10:18Speaker 1: hundred and sixty five days that God gave you at
- 10:21Speaker 1: the beginning of his new year for new opportunity, new chance,
- 10:25Speaker 1: new growth, new blessings, new level of expectations. All of
- 10:30Speaker 1: that's in place with me, y'all. Dister Steve Harvey, Marty Show,
- 10:34Speaker 1: everybody up in here, glad to be here. Shirley Strawville,
- 10:37Speaker 1: Thank you Jesus, and good morning to your steed, Lord God.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Colin Pharrell a man, Good morning everybody, Good money, ladies

- 11:07Speaker 1: Man who has claimed the title and carried it better
- 11:10Speaker 1: than anyone I have ever known. In mind, tire existence
- 11:14Speaker 1: on earth, the biggest food I've ever met. Next you, Tommy,
- 11:20Speaker 1: your side top of the morning, baby top top fourteen days,
- 11:24Speaker 1: inn and me and my wife are getting along just fine. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 1: because you did, because you give right on her birthday.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Right that botch fol days. That's all Steve this week
- 11:46Speaker 1: four days. He gave me a good tip for this.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It was good. She enjoyed it. She looked like she
- 11:52Speaker 1: enjoyed social media. Yes, she enjoyed it. Good job, Tommy,
- 11:56Speaker 1: good job. Good do we have nothing else to do.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Don't keep them happy and see
- 12:06Speaker 1: how that work. Or let me tell you. And you
- 12:12Speaker 1: know what, it's amazing. It's that are some men that
- 12:14Speaker 1: most men really do get it. They really do get it.
- 12:17Speaker 1: You know, now know this, It's not your job to
- 12:21Speaker 1: make another person happy, Nor can you do it, nor
- 12:26Speaker 1: should you make it your job. You should marry a
- 12:29Speaker 1: person that's already happy. So when you do things, yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: so when you do things of the hey nature of bringing,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you're bringing more happiness. That's right, exactly. You cannot start
- 12:44Speaker 1: happy from ground zero. You'll never get off the ground
- 12:49Speaker 1: that we're trying to make someone else happy, don't. It's
- 12:55Speaker 1: not your job. Exhausting, Carla, Carla, it's busty, man. It's
- 13:02Speaker 1: the hardest thing you ever attempted to do is to
- 13:06Speaker 1: make somebody else happy. That don't won't be You can
- 13:10Speaker 1: give it to him, all done that, take them there,
- 13:13Speaker 1: show it to him and buye form. It ain't gonna
- 13:17Speaker 1: mean you're gonna be miserable. Yes, you're gonna go to court.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Let's get happy about this. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:31Speaker 1: minutes after the hour inside something Funny do January Birthday
- 13:36Speaker 1: babies get less presents than everyone else. We'll discuss right
- 13:41Speaker 1: after you're listening to show. All right, Steve, So your
- 13:48Speaker 1: birthday is coming up this Friday, January seventeenth. Happy early
- 13:53Speaker 1: birthday to you and the baby. Carlo's baby Tasha is
- 13:57Speaker 1: born on the same day. My husband Ernesto, Tommy's wife Jackie.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They had a birthday last week January ninth, And Steve,
- 14:05Speaker 1: your daughter Laura's birthday. Laurie's birthday was Saturday. Your father
- 14:08Speaker 1: in law's birthday was last week. To check the story out. Okay,
- 14:13Speaker 1: January babies really get the short end of the stick.
- 14:16Speaker 1: It says, not only are they born into generally crappy weather,
- 14:20Speaker 1: but they get way fewer birthday presents than people born
- 14:23Speaker 1: in other months. Friends and family members of January babies
- 14:27Speaker 1: spend more money on presents to give out on Christmas,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and because of that, there isn't a lot of money
- 14:31Speaker 1: to go around or left over for those January birthdays. Now.
- 14:36Speaker 1: This is according to financial comparison site, January birthdays end
- 14:40Speaker 1: up getting about fourteen hundred and sixty dollars less over
- 14:44Speaker 1: their lifetime. The average adult spends five hundred and twelve
- 14:48Speaker 1: dollars a year on birthday gifts, but those surveyed have
- 14:52Speaker 1: admitted that they spend thirty four percent less on people
- 14:56Speaker 1: who had birthdays in January. Well, Jackie is caught up.
- 14:59Speaker 1: If if ain't hunting at something East year, Jacket ain't
- 15:02Speaker 1: caught up. She's frying she's above now. But I told
- 15:08Speaker 1: I tell everybody that's born in January, move your birthday,
- 15:11Speaker 1: move your money. You know what I'm saying. Start show
- 15:15Speaker 1: year with February, March, April, January, get people time to
- 15:20Speaker 1: come back to you. We're celebrating that right out to
- 15:22Speaker 1: Christmas too much. We're doing that. Start, but I'm celebrating it. Okay, okay,
- 15:29Speaker 1: here's a January baby. Come on, baby, come on baby, baby. Yeah. Well, well,
- 15:37Speaker 1: all that that you just said is true unless Steve
- 15:42Speaker 1: Harvey is your daddy, your son in law, or your
- 15:45Speaker 1: brother in law. This business as usual. Happy day on
- 15:49Speaker 1: birthday to all y'all sitting a bit hill my birthday,
- 15:54Speaker 1: I'll be working in a Here we go. What I'm
- 16:00Speaker 1: fit to get? Over here? What? What is somebody who
- 16:04Speaker 1: coming to this party? Don't nobody even know I'm here?
- 16:07Speaker 1: Don't nobody even know I'm here? Who coming to this party?
- 16:11Speaker 1: Right here? Hold up? I got something better like that
- 16:14Speaker 1: that de Stoes you shot at Dave, Rob did not here.
- 16:18Speaker 1: I'm just saying you're throwing it out. Hey, your favorite restaurant,
- 16:25Speaker 1: they ain't over here? Huh? The way you like your
- 16:29Speaker 1: chocolate can't Rob they ain't over here. So naw, January
- 16:34Speaker 1: seventeenth is coming. I'm gonna be ever grateful to the
- 16:37Speaker 1: Lord God of Mighty if you let me live to
- 16:39Speaker 1: see it. That's all I'm gonna do is be great.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Am I expecting nothing? Nah? You know why all the
- 16:45Speaker 1: damn money got spit at Christmas in January or everybody
- 16:49Speaker 1: else's damn bird That's why. Oh I ain't bitter. I'm
- 16:54Speaker 1: real though. Oh hello, African chocolate can't over there. They
- 17:01Speaker 1: Oh the food is extull. You just gotta pay attention
- 17:04Speaker 1: with your order. Oh the food is exull. What does
- 17:08Speaker 1: that mean? You know, a biscuit ain't what you think
- 17:13Speaker 1: it is. As far you asked for a biscuit, it
- 17:18Speaker 1: ain't gonna be what you think it is. If you
- 17:20Speaker 1: ask for pop, that's another damn thing. Don't say I
- 17:24Speaker 1: like a pop youth, you know, pop being a cold
- 17:27Speaker 1: Solda drink. It's a bowl of hot, creamy stuff that
- 17:31Speaker 1: comes to your table. I didn't order like she got lost,
- 17:37Speaker 1: but damn man, I fricking brothers and sisters with laughs.
- 17:43Speaker 1: So heart of my ass in that restaurant, I said hey,
- 17:47Speaker 1: I said hey, lay they on the way back, give
- 17:49Speaker 1: me some pop, give me a poplem. You know I'm
- 17:53Speaker 1: cool with everybody over here. They all know me. You know,
- 17:56Speaker 1: I am famous in Africa now I ain't he no
- 17:59Speaker 1: mistake about that, so they know worldwide. Yes, I'll do yes.
- 18:04Speaker 1: But and that lady came back to that table, set
- 18:08Speaker 1: this bowl down. It was steaming. Hell u huh what
- 18:15Speaker 1: is what is this? I said, excuse me, man, I
- 18:19Speaker 1: asked for a pop. Yea, what you say? Yea? I said,
- 18:29Speaker 1: But now this ain't the pop she said, yea, and
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'll be down. Pop is like a hot grit. Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 1: it's like pop. So when you ol me a soulder. Now,
- 18:45Speaker 1: once you learn it, oh it's delicious. Yeah you go,
- 18:48Speaker 1: oh it's good. But how did they lay it out?
- 18:57Speaker 1: Or they lay it out? It's real not keep in
- 18:59Speaker 1: mind your ass. Oh how chicken? Chicken over here is
- 19:04Speaker 1: a little bit smaller because they don't know hormone. Yeah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: they don't do it like in the States. Yeah, they
- 19:11Speaker 1: glow the chickens differently here. You said something, Steve when
- 19:15Speaker 1: you were over there before about the catch up for fries.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Yeah you want it. This ain't thing to be what
- 19:22Speaker 1: you think. It's not high. Now we were over there
- 19:25Speaker 1: with him with that Shirley. We had the French fries time,
- 19:27Speaker 1: and you remember that that was notchup. We got the
- 19:30Speaker 1: catch up. We all said, it's real tomataly read I
- 19:38Speaker 1: thought it was. I thought I said it. Remember this
- 19:42Speaker 1: tomato one taste its different version. But they have some
- 19:46Speaker 1: good stuff over here. The meat, the meat over here outstanding. Wow,
- 19:53Speaker 1: has good meat. I've never been to Africa, but I've
- 19:56Speaker 1: had um. I've had had lamb prepared by Africans and
- 20:00Speaker 1: it was delicious, good, very tasty. Yeah. Steakhouse steakhouses over there, Yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 1: they got this. This is the bomb. It is some
- 20:12Speaker 1: of the best food I've eaten. Johannesburg has amazing restaurants.
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man. You every night we go somewhere
- 20:21Speaker 1: different man, and people say go here, go here, and man,
- 20:24Speaker 1: they got some restaurants that's outstanding. The decor, I mean
- 20:28Speaker 1: it's posh, man, It's it's so different than what you
- 20:31Speaker 1: would expect. It's posh restaurants over here, and the pricing
- 20:36Speaker 1: is way beyond the four. Oh okay, all right, Steeve, Well,
- 20:43Speaker 1: thank you coming up, nephew Tommy and run that prank back.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That's coming up right after this, you're listening to show
- 20:55Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, miss Anne
- 20:57Speaker 1: will be here with national news and and entertainment news.
- 21:01Speaker 1: The Joker leave the nominations. As far as the Oscars go,
- 21:06Speaker 1: uh really we're mad at the end. That's a bad
- 21:08Speaker 1: boy right there, man, the movie Joker, Yeah, the Joker, Yeah,
- 21:14Speaker 1: talking about watching Phoenix, who started as well, why can't
- 21:16Speaker 1: you go into a role? He becomes that person? Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 1: what a movie going becoming? He was acting his ass off.
- 21:24Speaker 1: But the movie I watched, what is this about? What
- 21:31Speaker 1: is he doing? No? Especially man, he acting his ass
- 21:37Speaker 1: Oh but what what is this movie about? Saw the movie?
- 21:43Speaker 1: Steve ok okay up for Oscar? He wasn't up for
- 21:55Speaker 1: Oscar for writing. It was up for just damn move
- 22:00Speaker 1: it to right here. I ain't if you if you
- 22:04Speaker 1: are a person who are intelligent and got good asses,
- 22:07Speaker 1: it ain't gonna wear in hell? Are you gonna like
- 22:09Speaker 1: this move? But you know how the Oscars, you know,
- 22:15Speaker 1: they don't. They don't go with the popular opinion a
- 22:18Speaker 1: lot of times. That's why Jennifer Lopez was snubbed for
- 22:22Speaker 1: her role at in Hustlers. Remember that should have gotten
- 22:26Speaker 1: I saw that move. Yeah you saw. Let's save it, Steve. Wait,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I'll vote it for I tell you. I will talk
- 22:33Speaker 1: about all of these stories at the top of the hour.
- 22:36Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the nephew to
- 22:38Speaker 1: run that prank. Back what you got for us? Nav
- 22:41Speaker 1: Baby wait, if your baby way too much, they can't
- 22:47Speaker 1: get on the bus. Okay, were weighing them before they
- 22:49Speaker 1: get on the bus? Baby wait, let's go. Hello Hello,
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a trainer please. Yeah, this is
- 22:58Speaker 1: trainer China. My name is Earnest Earnest Murphy down here
- 23:02Speaker 1: at the bus bard with the from the school district.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Your son is is Devin? Am I right? Yeah? He's
- 23:10Speaker 1: in the sixth grade? I think yeah, yeah, everything is
- 23:14Speaker 1: flying now. I think he's on He rides bus ninety
- 23:17Speaker 1: Bus ninety three. Does he ride US ninety three? Uh? Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 1: yeah he does. Okay, So now the school board has
- 23:26Speaker 1: implemented a new rule, and um, we're having to call
- 23:31Speaker 1: a lot of parents and let him know about the
- 23:33Speaker 1: new rule for us as far as the buses are concerned. Now,
- 23:38Speaker 1: from my understanding, each child that gets on the bus
- 23:42Speaker 1: has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty five pounds.
- 23:46Speaker 1: That's what the new rule that is implemented by the
- 23:48Speaker 1: way Board. Say that again, each child that gets on
- 23:57Speaker 1: the bus has to weigh less than one hundred and
- 24:00Speaker 1: twenty five parents, I don't understand, k So what's okay?
- 24:05Speaker 1: So what does what does that mean? So starting on Monday,
- 24:08Speaker 1: Starting on Monday, what they're gonna do. If they're gonna
- 24:11Speaker 1: the bus driver will have a scale and he will
- 24:14Speaker 1: wag the kids they get on on the bus. I understand. Man,
- 24:19Speaker 1: the doctor, like I say, I'm calling, I'm calling every
- 24:22Speaker 1: patent that they say, you're gonna you're gonna waive my
- 24:26Speaker 1: child before he gets on the bus. That's that's what
- 24:29Speaker 1: the new rule. That's what the new rules. And if
- 24:31Speaker 1: he's over one twenty five then he he'll either have
- 24:33Speaker 1: to walk, you have to take him to school. But
- 24:37Speaker 1: I have a job. Okay, I have a job. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: thought gonna take my kids in school, but I don't.
- 24:42Speaker 1: That's what the bus explores. That's what my tax dollars
- 24:45Speaker 1: paid for us. Right, But what's the reasoning the rationale
- 24:50Speaker 1: behind this. Okay, let me tell you what's going on.
- 24:52Speaker 1: From what they're saying, the weight of these children is
- 24:56Speaker 1: wearing down these transmissions on this bus, on these bus transmission,
- 25:01Speaker 1: the transmission cannot take all of that. So they are
- 25:05Speaker 1: limiting the weight of each child. So now how much
- 25:08Speaker 1: does that discrimination? But it definite? Over Is he over
- 25:13Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty five pounds? He okay? He is okay?
- 25:20Speaker 1: And you you're probably gonna have to take your son
- 25:22Speaker 1: to school or you gonna have to walk. He probably
- 25:25Speaker 1: need to walk to school if he already or hunting
- 25:27Speaker 1: twenty five pounds? What as are you talking about? Man?
- 25:37Speaker 1: All I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your son
- 25:41Speaker 1: is overweight one hundred twenty five, you know, maybe the
- 25:44Speaker 1: exercise is doing good. But like I said that, the
- 25:47Speaker 1: school is that's gonna allow him on the plus sure,
- 25:52Speaker 1: I will not accept this. I who do I need
- 25:54Speaker 1: to call? Is there a manager? Is there a city's
- 25:57Speaker 1: council member? I mean, this is seriously, this most ub
- 26:01Speaker 1: discriminatory practice I've ever heard of. It doesn't even make sense.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You're talking about a child, I understand, but we're talking
- 26:08Speaker 1: about a child weigh more than a grown person. You're
- 26:10Speaker 1: so I need to get what is your name, sir?
- 26:13Speaker 1: Tell me your name again? My name is ernest. I'm
- 26:16Speaker 1: down here at the bus ball. I would like to
- 26:19Speaker 1: speak with the supervisor, like, now, what do you you
- 26:23Speaker 1: do not get to speak to my about my child
- 26:25Speaker 1: that way? You get to speak to any kid that way.
- 26:27Speaker 1: You should not be working at a school if that
- 26:30Speaker 1: is your attitude. I'm no, I don't work at the school.
- 26:33Speaker 1: I work at the bus ball. I'm down here at
- 26:34Speaker 1: the bus ball and they gave me your attended They right,
- 26:38Speaker 1: because you're saying he's over behind in twenty five pack.
- 26:40Speaker 1: I am an absolute shock. This is so okay. So
- 26:47Speaker 1: do you have a fat chat? I mean, do you
- 26:50Speaker 1: have scuoba? I'm sorry, do you have a big chatter? Listen?
- 26:53Speaker 1: What my child looks like, how much he weighs is
- 26:56Speaker 1: none of your business. I'm gonna call the school. They
- 27:00Speaker 1: be working with your company. If this is the way
- 27:02Speaker 1: that you treat people and you talk about children with
- 27:05Speaker 1: fight doesn't matter with here. I guess what they're doing
- 27:10Speaker 1: is this is the way of them approaching obesity. You know, whoever,
- 27:17Speaker 1: whoever over one hundred, they might walk it all your start. Listen, Listen,
- 27:22Speaker 1: that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Okay,
- 27:26Speaker 1: I have to work. My son is getting on that
- 27:29Speaker 1: bus and I'm going to call the schoolboard and should
- 27:32Speaker 1: not be working with you. We're another bus company. I
- 27:34Speaker 1: don't know, but I'm calling the city. I will call
- 27:37Speaker 1: members they need to call, but you need to give
- 27:39Speaker 1: me a supervisor's name right now, right now? Do you
- 27:43Speaker 1: think you need to start cooking different post so Devin,
- 27:46Speaker 1: don't have you know, maybe maybe it's starts at home
- 27:49Speaker 1: and what you're feeding everybody, you know. I am calling
- 27:55Speaker 1: the supervisor. I'm calling the the city, I'm calling the school.
- 27:58Speaker 1: I'm going to so fired, like I can't even believe it.
- 28:01Speaker 1: You're allowed to make this call like our other parents.
- 28:04Speaker 1: Okay with this? I'm called when you on your way
- 28:10Speaker 1: to work in the morning, TRAINA, do you listen to
- 28:13Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Oh my god, yes I do.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Nephew Talby from the Steve Harvey Morning Yes, yes, your
- 28:27Speaker 1: cousin Vicky got me the plank pol call you, baby.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, I'm gonna yeah, God, I mean, I
- 28:36Speaker 1: was like, oh my god, I love Steve Harvey. I
- 28:40Speaker 1: love you, Ilabe, God, you gotta tell me this baby
- 28:46Speaker 1: TRAINA what is the baddest and I mean the baddest
- 28:49Speaker 1: radio show in the lane, Steve Harvey, Right, nephew, coming
- 28:58Speaker 1: half of the hour, Entertainment and national news. Right after this.
- 29:03Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. So,
- 29:08Speaker 1: yesterday the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced
- 29:12Speaker 1: the nominees for the ninety second Academy Awards Best Actress
- 29:16Speaker 1: made some noise because our girls, Cynthia Rivo, she was
- 29:20Speaker 1: nominated for her role in the movie Harriet. I loved Harriet.
- 29:26Speaker 1: The movie was great. Yes, Cynthia Arrivo is the only
- 29:30Speaker 1: person of color nominated in anti category this year. Okay, Yeah, Also,
- 29:39Speaker 1: our girl j Lo Jennifer Lopez was snubbed for her
- 29:42Speaker 1: performance and hustlers. Everybody was talking about it, how she
- 29:45Speaker 1: was a shoe in for the nomination and all of that,
- 29:48Speaker 1: but she did not get it. The Oscars have made
- 29:55Speaker 1: some mistakes over the years. I think we all agree
- 29:59Speaker 1: with that. I think they've snubbed so many great ones
- 30:02Speaker 1: on the Jennifer Lopez should have got something causes best
- 30:08Speaker 1: body the way she pulled it. Yeah, but you know,
- 30:13Speaker 1: I mean, if you look, I mean Jay can act man. Yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 1: she was, she could have act. She's been a lot
- 30:19Speaker 1: of stuff. Yeah, she's very believed. But back to this
- 30:26Speaker 1: damn joker. Okay, who wrote this praiser? Ass moving? What
- 30:37Speaker 1: was it? Let me explain something to you. Yeah, man,
- 30:42Speaker 1: the clips you see? The clips you see is the
- 30:45Speaker 1: best part in the movie when he going down that trailer, Steve,
- 30:55Speaker 1: after that, why is he talking? Man? What is wrong
- 31:00Speaker 1: with you? I don't give a damn what's wrong with you?
- 31:03Speaker 1: This ain't got to be your damn reaction. Huh. I
- 31:07Speaker 1: didn't get it, man. I can't tell y'all what the
- 31:10Speaker 1: movie about. And you know what, I couldn't. If you
- 31:13Speaker 1: know why, I can't tell you what the movie about
- 31:16Speaker 1: because I watched it. I don't know what the damn
- 31:19Speaker 1: move about. All I knows is nutty. Ass Man was
- 31:24Speaker 1: just telling you I'm nutty the whole damn move, every
- 31:29Speaker 1: reaction he had to everything happened to him. I look, man,
- 31:34Speaker 1: I'm black. I had a lot of bad stuff happened
- 31:36Speaker 1: to me in my life. She's putting this damn mad
- 31:39Speaker 1: Stone fall. Take that damn makeup off and get your
- 31:42Speaker 1: hands out that cap and quit talking to these people. Takeaway, Steve.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It's Batman with Batman Man. The whole damn movie. I said, man,
- 31:57Speaker 1: now you know what would help out Batman? If I
- 32:01Speaker 1: could just see the emblem in the sky something Man,
- 32:10Speaker 1: stop all this New York City, Gotham, do hell Writler,
- 32:18Speaker 1: Come on, Gwin, somebody coming here and help this damn man,
- 32:23Speaker 1: and can we get out this ragged ass apart? He
- 32:30Speaker 1: needed to be a movie critic for half the reason.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Half the reason he was crazy because where he stayed
- 32:38Speaker 1: up some Why don't you get some help in here.
- 32:46Speaker 1: You need somebody to come in here, put you some
- 32:48Speaker 1: nice colors in here. Tomorrow you got to do, Harriet.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Tomorrow was good. It was real good man. He gonna
- 32:59Speaker 1: find something, all right. So that is hilarious. Time to
- 33:08Speaker 1: get caught up on today's headlines. Steve good ahead, Steve
- 33:12Speaker 1: crazy man, Lady generate, miss and trill okay, thank you
- 33:17Speaker 1: very much. This is a trip with the news. House
- 33:20Speaker 1: Speaker Nancy Pelosi is expected to send the articles of
- 33:23Speaker 1: impeachment against President Trump to the US Senate this week.
- 33:25Speaker 1: In fact, the representive Pelosi is scheduled to meet with
- 33:28Speaker 1: House Democrats this morning to discuss the timing of a
- 33:31Speaker 1: vote on impeachment. Managers the Republican dominated Senate those expected
- 33:35Speaker 1: to make quick work of the impeachment charges and to
- 33:37Speaker 1: quit the president. However, Pelosi says, no matter what, Donal
- 33:41Speaker 1: Trump is still impeach for life and there's nothing his
- 33:44Speaker 1: friends and supporters can do about it. President Trump is
- 33:46Speaker 1: still defending his decision to order American forces to take
- 33:50Speaker 1: out Irani in General CoStim Solomany, contending that Solomany posted
- 33:54Speaker 1: an impending threat to the US, but then he adds
- 33:57Speaker 1: it is not important anyway, given the general's history you
- 34:01Speaker 1: as Attorney General William Barr says that a number of
- 34:04Speaker 1: Saudi military cadets are being expelled following the last month's
- 34:07Speaker 1: deadly shooting at a Pensacola, Florida, naval base. A Saudi
- 34:10Speaker 1: military student murdered three young American sailors and injured eight
- 34:14Speaker 1: other people last December, and the AG says it was
- 34:17Speaker 1: a terrorist attack. They say the gunman who was killed
- 34:19Speaker 1: at the scene was motivated by radical jihadism and hatred
- 34:22Speaker 1: of Americans. So, after an investigation of the eight hundred
- 34:25Speaker 1: and fifty Saudi trainees here, Bar says, a number were
- 34:28Speaker 1: apparently found to be sharing extremist material, even child pornography.
- 34:33Speaker 1: So you know what, they gotta go. Twenty one cadets
- 34:35Speaker 1: have been disenrolled from their training curriculum in the US
- 34:39Speaker 1: military and will be returning to Saudi Arabia, and Barr
- 34:43Speaker 1: says the Saudi government apparently agrees with his decision to
- 34:46Speaker 1: send them back. New Jersey Senator Corey Booker has ended
- 34:50Speaker 1: his race for the Democratic presidential nomination. In an email
- 34:53Speaker 1: to supporters, Booker explains that he simply doesn't have enough
- 34:57Speaker 1: campaign money to continue. He's been polling kind of low,
- 35:00Speaker 1: so he doesn't really qualify to be on the debate
- 35:02Speaker 1: stage in Iowa tonight, but Bookers says that does not
- 35:05Speaker 1: mean he's about to disappear. I can't wait to get
- 35:07Speaker 1: factle on the campaign trail and campaign as hard as
- 35:10Speaker 1: I can for whoever is the eventual nominee and for
- 35:14Speaker 1: candidates up at him down the ballot. But for now,
- 35:17Speaker 1: I want to say thank you as the senator of
- 35:19Speaker 1: the Garden State. Democrat says Trump's impeachment trial will be
- 35:22Speaker 1: keeping him busy for the next few weeks, and Booker
- 35:24Speaker 1: says he doesn't tend to run for reelection. According to
- 35:27Speaker 1: The New York Times, president Trump's trying to take credit
- 35:29Speaker 1: for the country's lower cancer rates. American Cancer Society says
- 35:33Speaker 1: that the US has experienced the sharpest one year dropping
- 35:35Speaker 1: the cancer rate ever recorded. After that, at the time,
- 35:38Speaker 1: says Trump took to a Twitter saying US cancer death
- 35:41Speaker 1: rate the lowest and recorded history. A lot of good
- 35:44Speaker 1: news coming out of this administration. Well, folks at the
- 35:47Speaker 1: American Kansas Society gently reminds the president the cancer rate
- 35:50Speaker 1: has been dropping over the last twenty six years last
- 35:53Speaker 1: time when Obama was president. Today's tonight National rubber ducky day. Yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 1: back to the Steve. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:05Speaker 1: All right, so Junior is here with this sports talk
- 36:07Speaker 1: the National College Championship football game. Hold up about that?
- 36:13Speaker 1: Hold on? Oh they do? They do? They do? It
- 36:17Speaker 1: was a good game last night. It was last night,
- 36:21Speaker 1: girl wise you in sports intro Sports tonight, girl girl,
- 36:29Speaker 1: it was last night. Was ain't washing up? And now
- 36:32Speaker 1: me now, guess what. I ain't seen the damn game
- 36:35Speaker 1: because I'm in Africa. You can't see nothing. So in Africa, right,
- 36:40Speaker 1: know you not? That was a great game last night,
- 36:46Speaker 1: beautiful game. Thank you, Junior man. You in Baker Mayfield
- 36:49Speaker 1: and kids, my behind that going on with all that? Well,
- 36:56Speaker 1: well they both had the house now house Trumpy whin
- 37:03Speaker 1: the LSU is Joe Burrow versus clips is Trevior Lars
- 37:06Speaker 1: went to work last night. Great game last night, up U,
- 37:09Speaker 1: LSU wins. But we want to bring in undefeated, undefeated.
- 37:14Speaker 1: We want to bring in coach. Oh, the head coach
- 37:16Speaker 1: of LSU Tigers. We can't understand it. We can get
- 37:18Speaker 1: coach over here and talk about how you feels today
- 37:21Speaker 1: as a national japan So I was there thinking you
- 37:28Speaker 1: and then you football always been in cold color football
- 37:34Speaker 1: in the over board, play the game like down over
- 37:36Speaker 1: the gold Tigers. All he want to do? Oh, he
- 37:40Speaker 1: wanted to loom for Steve Louis Downad, you're going on
- 37:44Speaker 1: toward the team down? Who can ever going down? Now?
- 37:50Speaker 1: Who that down? And I said, over there and win
- 37:54Speaker 1: the football game and greeted It was greeted, deal my
- 38:00Speaker 1: live coach. Anybody want to thank all the music or
- 38:10Speaker 1: the Jeff val all the people are going to throw
- 38:14Speaker 1: around that go who that legal? And play the football game. Okay,
- 38:22Speaker 1: I didn't understand, not a word, not already you never do. Yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: don't worry about that, right now go tigers. Understand that? Yeah, time,
- 38:34Speaker 1: because don't understand national Chimp, national chimp cratl who that?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Why the coach? Why the coach sound like a white
- 38:50Speaker 1: wash goo waller? Oh boy? All right, h crazy. We'll
- 38:58Speaker 1: talk about Corey buck he dropped out of the Democratic
- 39:02Speaker 1: presidential race. We'll talk about it. You're listening to well Steve.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Corey Booker is the latest Democratic candidate to drop out
- 39:15Speaker 1: of the presidential race. It was hard. That's so fake,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, it was hard. It was hard for
- 39:31Speaker 1: Corey to make that decision. He posted a statement on
- 39:34Speaker 1: social media, and here's some of Corey's statement. He said,
- 39:37Speaker 1: I've made my decision to suspend my campaign for president.
- 39:41Speaker 1: I've said throughout this race that this election is not
- 39:43Speaker 1: just a referendum on Donald Trump. It's a referendum on
- 39:47Speaker 1: who we are and who we must be to each other.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Corey Booker went on to say, to my team, supporters
- 39:52Speaker 1: and everyone who gave a shot, thank you. I'm so
- 39:56Speaker 1: proud of what we built. Okay, can I say something listen, Camelo, Corey.
- 40:09Speaker 1: All these people they had good intentions, some of them
- 40:13Speaker 1: had great ideas. The problem that we have right now
- 40:20Speaker 1: is that Donald Trump has changed politics in this country
- 40:25Speaker 1: and this country right now with him as the president,
- 40:30Speaker 1: they have given up all pretense of morality. They not
- 40:36Speaker 1: even facing or playing like we're trying to be morally correct.
- 40:42Speaker 1: The Southern evangelicals have all back Donald Trump. Excuse me,
- 40:50Speaker 1: the far right wing religious moral compass of this country,
- 40:56Speaker 1: so they've been telling us, is now backing down Donald Trump,
- 41:01Speaker 1: who is against everything everything for regular people and only
- 41:07Speaker 1: supportive of rich people. Politics is by partisan they have.
- 41:11Speaker 1: I've never seen the rights banned together as much as
- 41:14Speaker 1: I have with Donald Trump banned together to the right
- 41:18Speaker 1: on somebody so wrong, So Kamela Corey with great intentions
- 41:24Speaker 1: of the other dude. So you know, so all these people,
- 41:31Speaker 1: they all had good intentions, but this, this election is
- 41:35Speaker 1: not about good intentions. And no, no, this is not
- 41:39Speaker 1: about who's going to be best for the country. All
- 41:43Speaker 1: this election is is about power, position, and money, and
- 41:47Speaker 1: the right wing will do anything to maintain those three things.
- 41:52Speaker 1: And right now it's represented by Donald Trump. Because if
- 41:55Speaker 1: you go against Trump, he go against you. So now
- 41:59Speaker 1: if you don't back this guy right now in your
- 42:02Speaker 1: local elections, he come out against you. So this dude
- 42:06Speaker 1: done buffalo and bully the Republican Party when really he's
- 42:10Speaker 1: a Democrat at heart, but because he liked democratic dudes.
- 42:15Speaker 1: But really, this dude right here, man has change politics.
- 42:19Speaker 1: So the good god, this isn't about the good guy
- 42:22Speaker 1: no more. This ain't about who best for the country.
- 42:25Speaker 1: So all right now is trying to get somebody who
- 42:29Speaker 1: can beat Donald Trump. And the only dude in a
- 42:32Speaker 1: debate that can stand there and match this dude is Biden.
- 42:37Speaker 1: That's it. You got to have two old white men
- 42:40Speaker 1: talking about each other and then let all the rest
- 42:43Speaker 1: of them decide who they're going to vote for. This
- 42:45Speaker 1: got to be two white men talking about each other
- 42:48Speaker 1: because he has polarized it. He has made his party
- 42:51Speaker 1: about white men. I'm telling you, man, this dude, then
- 42:55Speaker 1: gangster politics has changed. Yeah, it's been allowed to. Yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 1: I'm sorry. They want to stay in power. So in
- 43:05Speaker 1: order to stay in power, they think they should stand
- 43:08Speaker 1: behind Donald Trump and support whatever he does, right or wrong,
- 43:13Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. They have to stand behind. They come
- 43:17Speaker 1: out against him, the trader, the Lord, and then here
- 43:21Speaker 1: and then he'll go to the NI and they'll pull
- 43:24Speaker 1: the money from their campaign. Yeah he didn't gangster him. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 43:28Speaker 1: The debate is tonight Democratic yes in Iowa, Iowa. Yeah,
- 43:34Speaker 1: right before the claucus says all right, Coming up next,
- 43:37Speaker 1: the nephew in the building with today's prank phone call

- 47:24Speaker 1: go because I got work to do. I don't know
- 47:25Speaker 1: what you got to do. Spend it all this time
- 47:27Speaker 1: on the phone and talk about something being with all
- 47:29Speaker 1: that food. So the rice didn't do it, the meat
- 47:31Speaker 1: didn't do it. They had some other gravy. Gravy always
- 47:35Speaker 1: people up that didn't do it. You want to sing
- 47:37Speaker 1: about my beans? Out of here? Don't be calling me
- 47:40Speaker 1: with this dumb you know what? Now? Company? Who gave
- 47:43Speaker 1: me your number? Because I don't even know you. I
- 47:44Speaker 1: do know your mom. I was little mama. Mama didnt
- 47:48Speaker 1: gave me your number? I called mama Mama dean passing
- 47:50Speaker 1: out numbers. Well, I'm gonna call Mama Dean, and I'm
- 47:53Speaker 1: gonna see if anybody else got sick, which I know
- 47:55Speaker 1: they didn't because your ass is fullish. So I'm gonna
- 47:59Speaker 1: call her see if any he got sick. How about
- 48:00Speaker 1: we doing it that way. And also I'm gonna call
- 48:02Speaker 1: your mother. Okay, I'm gonna call Miss Lois and see
- 48:05Speaker 1: why her dad son is calling me on the phone,
- 48:09Speaker 1: because this is something. I'm sick inside of this phone call.
- 48:12Speaker 1: And nothing was wrong with my beans. If anything something
- 48:15Speaker 1: wrong with you, and so take a access to clear
- 48:17Speaker 1: your ass out and keep it the movies. If you're
- 48:20Speaker 1: gonna get off my phone, Okay, okay, okay, they say
- 48:24Speaker 1: they say Tommy had some problem with the bag through.
- 48:28Speaker 1: First of all, I don't even know no God, Tommy,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I barely know your mom. I just know her by face.
- 48:34Speaker 1: I don't even know her know her. So Tommy, Hugh,
- 48:38Speaker 1: I'm calling Mamma Dean. She ain't got no business getting
- 48:40Speaker 1: my mother number to nobody. This is what I've just
- 48:47Speaker 1: told you. I don't know anybody named Tommy, So you
- 48:50Speaker 1: can tell him whatever you want to tell him. And
- 48:52Speaker 1: when you try to gain other people who want to
- 48:55Speaker 1: jump on your side. It's not gonna happen because nobody
- 48:57Speaker 1: complaints about the being Give me, give me another names,
- 49:00Speaker 1: because Tommy wasn't there. I know just about everybody that
- 49:03Speaker 1: was there. What nobody names Tommy there? Okay, okay, so
- 49:07Speaker 1: you're gonna say nephew, nephew Tommy wasn't then what nephew
- 49:14Speaker 1: taught me? This is nephew from the Steve Harvey Martin Show.

- 53:11Speaker 1: It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you. Subject my married ex
- 53:16Speaker 1: boyfriend want to be friends. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am
- 53:20Speaker 1: heartbroken and I need your advice. My boyfriend broke up
- 53:24Speaker 1: with me in September of twenty eighteen, and I'm having
- 53:27Speaker 1: a difficult time letting him go. We've been close friends
- 53:31Speaker 1: since we were in middle school, and we had a
- 53:33Speaker 1: deep emotional and physical connection for many years. When he
- 53:37Speaker 1: dumped me, he tried to still be friends, but it
- 53:40Speaker 1: was awkward for me, so I didn't talk to him
- 53:43Speaker 1: much because I needed to heal well. Shortly after we
- 53:47Speaker 1: broke up, he met a nice woman and they had
- 53:49Speaker 1: only been together six months, and he asked her to
- 53:52Speaker 1: marry him. They got married in September twenty nineteen, and
- 53:56Speaker 1: he had the audacity to invite me to the wedding.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I did not go for a couple of reasons. First off,
- 54:04Speaker 1: I wasn't ready to see him walk down the aisle
- 54:06Speaker 1: with someone else. And secondly, I did not think it
- 54:10Speaker 1: was appropriate for me to attend the wedding since a
- 54:12Speaker 1: none of our other friends knew the true nature of
- 54:15Speaker 1: our friendship. We were more than friends. I'm his ex boyfriend.
- 54:21Speaker 1: His new wife doesn't know about me? Or should I
- 54:24Speaker 1: say us? Surely? Surely? Yes? Yes? Huh? You want me
- 54:32Speaker 1: to read it again? Okay, Yeah, I said we were
- 54:37Speaker 1: more than friends. I'm his We were talking about We're
- 54:41Speaker 1: talking about the ter, the writer of the writer, the
- 54:46Speaker 1: writer of the letter who says he's heartbroken because he
- 54:51Speaker 1: and he needs our advice. His boyfriend broke up with
- 54:53Speaker 1: him in September of twenty eighteen, So skipping down. Huh, okay,
- 54:59Speaker 1: follow with me, Steve. Okay, he and his boyfriend. His
- 55:03Speaker 1: boyfriend broke up with him in twenty eighteen. Uh, we
- 55:08Speaker 1: were more than friends? Yes, yes, yes, yes, my boyfriend
- 55:15Speaker 1: broke up with me. Okay, I'm gonna you want me
- 55:18Speaker 1: to start over you slow, Okay, Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 55:24Speaker 1: am heartbroken and I need your advice. My boyfriend broke
- 55:28Speaker 1: up with me in September of twenty eighteen, and I'm
- 55:31Speaker 1: having a difficult time letting him go. We've been close
- 55:35Speaker 1: friends since we were in middle school. So far, so good, right,
- 55:39Speaker 1: Steve and we had and we had a deep emotional
- 55:42Speaker 1: and physical connection for many years. When he dumped me,
- 55:46Speaker 1: he tried to still be friends, but it was awkward
- 55:49Speaker 1: for me, so I didn't talk to him much because
- 55:51Speaker 1: I needed to heal well. Shortly after we broke up,
- 55:54Speaker 1: he met a nice woman and they had only been
- 55:57Speaker 1: together six months, and he asked her to marry him.
- 56:02Speaker 1: Then they got married in September of twenty nineteen, and
- 56:06Speaker 1: he had the audacity to invite me to the wedding.
- 56:09Speaker 1: I did not go for a couple of reasons. First off,
- 56:13Speaker 1: I wasn't ready to see him walk down the aisle
- 56:16Speaker 1: with someone else. And secondly, I did not think it
- 56:20Speaker 1: was appropriate for me to attend the wedding since none
- 56:23Speaker 1: of our other friends know that they knew the true
- 56:26Speaker 1: nature of our friendship. We were more than friends. I'm
- 56:30Speaker 1: his ex boyfriend. His new wife doesn't know about me.
- 56:38Speaker 1: His new wife doesn't know about me? Yep, follow along stage.
- 56:46Speaker 1: His new wife doesn't know about me? Or should I
- 56:49Speaker 1: say us? I am not vindictive and I would never
- 56:53Speaker 1: ruin her happiness by sharing this information with her. He
- 56:56Speaker 1: got really upset with me for not coming to his
- 56:58Speaker 1: wedding because he said everyone was asking why I wasn't there.
- 57:03Speaker 1: We have argued about me missing the wedding, and he
- 57:05Speaker 1: doesn't understand my side of it or why I'm still hurt.
- 57:09Speaker 1: He seems to think we can just go on as
- 57:11Speaker 1: friends and hang out on the weekends like we've always done.
- 57:14Speaker 1: I've been avoiding his calls and texts, but I do
- 57:18Speaker 1: miss talking to him. How should I deal with this
- 57:21Speaker 1: going forward? Should I cut ties with him for good?
- 57:24Speaker 1: Or do you think time will heal all wounds? Please advise?
- 57:31Speaker 1: All right, Sometimes you know you do have to just
- 57:34Speaker 1: let things, You have to let people go, you do
- 57:37Speaker 1: in life. Sometimes you do that, But in this case,
- 57:40Speaker 1: I understand it's harder for you because you guys have
- 57:44Speaker 1: been friends since middle school and you've been more than friends.
- 57:48Speaker 1: But clearly he doesn't feel the same way as you.
- 57:51Speaker 1: Proof he dumped you. He married a woman six months later,
- 57:58Speaker 1: and he didn't even tell her about you. That's the
- 58:00Speaker 1: proof right there. So it sounds like you were way
- 58:03Speaker 1: more into him than he was into you. And he
- 58:07Speaker 1: has moved on with his life in terms of a
- 58:10Speaker 1: romantic relationship. He's married a woman now. Now he's insensitive?
- 58:15Speaker 1: Is he insensitive? I want to ask you that you
- 58:18Speaker 1: think he's insensitive and confusing because he seems to be
- 58:21Speaker 1: sending mixed messages to you. Absolutely, because he wants to
- 58:26Speaker 1: still be friends with you and still hang out like
- 58:28Speaker 1: you guys used to do, and all of that. Those
- 58:30Speaker 1: are mixed messages. It's confusing, without a doubt, all of that.
- 58:35Speaker 1: And and while yes, you asked the question, does time
- 58:38Speaker 1: heal wounds? Yes, time heals all wounds, that's what they say.
- 58:42Speaker 1: And this so called friendship of yours that he wants
- 58:45Speaker 1: to still have and he wants you guys to still
- 58:48Speaker 1: you know, be together and all of that, it's as
- 58:50Speaker 1: one sided as ever. I think he's a selfish type lover.
- 58:54Speaker 1: He just wants what he wants. He's not caring or
- 58:57Speaker 1: understanding how you feel about this situation. So I think
- 59:01Speaker 1: you really should take a page out of his book
- 59:04Speaker 1: and move on with your life, just like he has
- 59:06Speaker 1: moved on with you with his whether that be with
- 59:09Speaker 1: a woman or another man, whatever your preference. I think
- 59:13Speaker 1: you should move on with your life and forget about
- 59:15Speaker 1: this guy, because it seems he's done that. Steve, you're
- 59:20Speaker 1: all right. Let's just start towards the end of the
- 59:23Speaker 1: letter where it says I should I deal with this
- 59:26Speaker 1: going forward? That is the question for me to answer
- 59:29Speaker 1: on this commercial break. Steve won't come back with an
- 59:33Speaker 1: answer for this after the break. The subject my married
- 59:36Speaker 1: ex boyfriend wants to be friends. We'll get back into
- 59:39Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to all right, Steve,
- 59:44Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject my married
- 59:47Speaker 1: ex boyfriend wants to be friends. I know you were
- 59:51Speaker 1: thrown a little bit because we're talking about two guys here. Okay,
- 59:53Speaker 1: But now okay, So now, in fairness to me and
- 59:57Speaker 1: my radio audience that listens to me, I'm gonna take
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you on the journey through this letter as I took
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: myself through this letter, because the moment of discovery that
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I had was doing the reading of the letter. So
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: here's when the letter's reading here's where Steve is thinking.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: My married ex boyfriend wants to be friends. Acceptable title?
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Then this Stephen Shirley. I'm heartbroken and I need your advice.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: My boyfriend broke up with me in September two eighteen.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: I'm having a difficult time letting him go. I'm familiar
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: with that situation very for me. Not in twenty and eighteen,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: but this happened in the past. We were close friends
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: since when we were in middle school, and and and
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: and we had deep emotional and physical connection for many years.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Been in that, I've been right there, I'm in this letter.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: When he dumped me, he tried to steal be friends.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: I tried that with a couple of women before. I
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: tried being a friend, but it was awkward for me.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I know, lady, but you know I was cool, So
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: let's just try so. I didn't talk to him much
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: because I needed time to heal. Very familiar with that. Well.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: Shortly after we broke up, he met a nice woman.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: They hadn't even together six months. He asked her to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: marry him. I asked, I, don't they have three people
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: married me. I'm familiar with this right here. I asked
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: somebody to marry me in a minute. They got married
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: in September twenty nineteen. I've been married three times and
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: I don't even remember all the damn date, but that's
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: how many times I've been married. He had the audacity
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: to invite me to the wed now that I've never done.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: I'm not having your ass come to the wed and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: run the risk of when they say, does anyone here
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: see any just calls I'm not gonna have you, and
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: said so. I wouldn't do that. That's why I started
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: not being in the letter so much. But you know,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: and and and they had to das and invite me.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Now I'm thinking this woman is saying I didn't go
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: for a couple of reasons. This is what I'm thinking
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: as I'm reading out. First of all, I wasn't ready
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: to see him walk down out. I ain't saying I'm
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: all that, but I'm pretty sure somewhere in my history
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: somebody has felled a sudden loss. I'm just saying yeah
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: with someone else. Secondly, I didn't think it was proper
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: for me to attend a wedding since none of our
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: other friends knew the true nature of our friendship. Well,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: most of my friends know what I was doing, so
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I'm backing the letter again. But they knew the true relationship.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: But then the letter, we were more than friends. This
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: is who the letter took a turn from me and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: he got throw me. You gotta understand that. Sixty three.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: I'm just telling i'm his ex boyfriend. Now I've been
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: reading the letter the way I told you. I've been
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: reading the letter. I'm hearing now this is new information.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I'm his ex boyfriend, so now I have to find
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: a way to give this advice from a perspective. But
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: it's just like any other relationship, so that's how it
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: has to be hampered. So I'm his ex boyfriend. His
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: new wife doesn't know about me. None of my wife
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: knew about anybody from my past, or at least I
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: tried not. They have come up from time to damn me.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I've had some lading into you, but I've just really
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: tried not to have many conversations about that. His new
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: wife doesn't know about me, or should I say us.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I'm not vindictive and I would never ruin that happiness
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: by sharing this information about it. Okay, so this is
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: a cool dude, right, I ain't mad at him. This dude,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: it's all right. He got really upset with me for
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: not coming to his wedding because he said everybody was
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: asking why I wasn't there. Hey, do you don't gonna
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: hear well why he wasn't there? So now for the
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: dude that gotten married? What game you playing Pardner? Talking about?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Why wasn't you that? Now? You mad? What to hear? You? Mad? Folk?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: You got on with your life, didn't get on with
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: your life. You're dragging the dude back up in it? Folk.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: So then we have argued about me missing the wedding
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: and he don't understand my side of and why I'm
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: seeing what are you arguing with it? Folk? Now here's
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: where I think you can get some justice here. He
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: seemed to think we can just go on his friend
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: to hang out on the weekend like we've always done.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I've been aborting his calls in text, but I do
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: miss talking to him, well, not listen to him if
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: he don't understand your side. I'm just gonna say it
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: like this, both of y'all men, right, I ain't got
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: nothing to do with your preference and all like that.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: You're just men. So I'm just talking. This is I'm
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: talking to two dudes now right, Ain't got nothing to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: do with your preference. I don't care what it is.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Ain't none of my business. God bless you. More power
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to you. If a dude, if a friend of mine
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: keep talking to me and I ask him leave me alone,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: let me work some things out, and he keep running
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: his mouth, I'm gonna whop his ass. I'm knocking his
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: ass out because I told you, Hey, dog, I'm trying
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to pull myself together. What is you over here? Fault? Nah?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: You keep coming over here arguing we're not been an
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: argy here. I'm knocking your ass out. I'm just talking
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: to the two men here. What your preference is? Again,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: got nothing to do with me? Walk go over there,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: go up to his job. When he in lunch, sit
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: across the table, haul off and bust his ass dead
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: in the damn show. That's yours. Just two damn dudes,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: that's Jesse. But hold up, dog, the hash ideal with
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: this going for at least get an ass whooping. Not
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: to wait, you will feel better. Yeah, cut tis time,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: we will heal all wounds. Please advise, just get the
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: ass whooping, not your system than out post your comments
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: on Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: and Facebook, and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: demand now coming up at forty six after the hour. Well, Steve,

- 1:06:18Speaker 1: crip is getting flipped. Huh. And you guys were you
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: got on your mustache. It seems like every time you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: go on her show, you guys talk about the mists,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: fascinated with it. I know. It seems like all right, yeah,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: so she can put that video on social media. So
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: she was reacting where your son put the video on
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: social media about the bustache and you guys talked about it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Take a listen. You've got to be accurate to make
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: it even on each side. That's really tough work. Well,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: it's the only hair I have. Well that is true.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Ain't like I got to do a bunch of other stuff.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: But just to be clear, you do have other hair,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: but it don't get a breath though. She's so quick, man,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: I was the one that was quick in that clip,
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Timmy asking questions, ain't quick waver Man, ask y'all something
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: did the part go on there where they was talking,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: we're talking about the Kelly Clarkson show. Boy, that one
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: got funny, though, Boy, that one got funny cause uh,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I was just saying, how much you know the show?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: I like Kelly Clarkson. I got nothing against Kelly Clarkson
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: at all, you know. I am a matter of fact,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: I'm happy for And so she said, well that's good,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: you know. And so then I was talking one of
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: my boys and my boy said, yeah, man, that's that's
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: messed up what they did. I said, no, man, it's
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: not her fault. She cool with me, man, I mean
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: that was decision was made by other people. I said,

- 1:08:01Speaker 1: happy for He says, so you watched the show? I said,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I ain't that happy? Yeah, moment. I had a real
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: black moment, right and I did that only Ellen. That's
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and I don't know. Ellen don't normally like to air
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: anything controversial. Yeah, that might not have made it cut though,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: City watched the show. I ain't that TV. Come on
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: dog very cheap. All right, Steve, thank you. Junior is
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: coming up with sports talk at the top of the

- 1:12:36Speaker 1: for celebration this year, Well, you know, I'm gonna sell
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: the old girls some more crayfish on my soil, the
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: heads off them and go that little boat. I'm gonna
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: talk about thirty four pounds of crowfit and sohol the
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: heads over, give me hold, give me some of that
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: all greenhol that sad right now on my granddad to me,

- 1:13:20Speaker 1: wash goo wallet. Oh boy, all right, uh crazy, all right.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: The Queen has released a statement about Harry and Megan.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: We'll talk about that when we come back right after
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: this you're listening show, all right. In response to um,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Harry and Megan's really like shocking announcement that they were
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: going to spend part of their time in England and
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: then part of their time in Canada, they were stepping
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: down from their major royal duties, the Queen has released
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: a statement because people were saying she was blindsided, so
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: she says today, my family had very constructive decision discussions
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: on the future of my grandson and his family, the
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: reigning Monarch shared in a statement. The Reigning Monarch, of course,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: being the Queen, my family and I are entirely supportive
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: of Harry Megan's desire to create a new life as
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: a young family. Although we would have preferred them to
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: remain full time working members of a royal family, we
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: respect and understand their wish to live a more independent
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: life as a family while remaining a valued part of
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: my family. Has anyone spoken to the Earl of Nottingham, Yeah, ye,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: as a representative of the only black remaining and never
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: heard of in the palace. I'm here to say that
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: the Queen are spoken, and she really does support macle
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: and Harry. I'll just be saying, I, for one, I'm
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: glad they're gone. Maybe now they could recognize me as
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: the only black in the palace. Take they want to
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: be financially independent game and I don't. I want to
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: become more dependent. We'll have more morning show coming up
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: at thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: we're back with the Earl of Attingham or you guys
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: called black Girl. Yeah, he always colt that I am
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: the Earl of Ardingham. I was listening to you, Shirley
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: make the announcement of our beloved queen making the announcement
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: that the family had a very constructive description concerning the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: new life that he have in Malcolo gone to partaker
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: even though they wanted the Queen wanted them to remain
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: full time. She understoods cut that damn music. God, Oh,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: horn's what I'm talking. No other horns before I have
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: your head. Thank you. That damn boy on that horn
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: been making noise since he was a boy. That's Earl
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Julia on horn him mean he got her. They're from London.
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: They're patterning themselves after Bruno Mars and one day, hopefully
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: they will make it because Bruno Maas has an incredible
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: horn section and obviously my son is trying out for
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: the Bruno Mars horn section. I Earl of Altingham, having
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: to be the other black family member that no one discusses.
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I am outside four bore child of Harry's daddy. No
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: one knew about Charles's outside of foul with another platform,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: and those white love their black women, and I am
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Earl of Altingham and I've been on the outskirts of
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: the family. But now that Miracle and Harry are moving on,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I expect to take full position and take my la apart.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: They want to financial dependency. I want none of that.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I want to be totally financially dependent on the palace.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: They have everything. Have you been down? They have everything,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Butler's servants down. Their slaves, not really slaves, are wonderful people.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: They're white, though I love it being there. Because they're
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: white slaves, I find it quite a long and I
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: just point that stuff. I don't even along from time
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: to time just to have a white person handed to
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: me with white gloves. There's no chest getting into palace.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: Even white people wear white old gloves. I'm going down.
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: It's cold outside. You can't get a black leather man
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: loves all right, thank you, Earl of Addingham. Steve Harvey
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: would say I was pimping the game. We'll be back
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: with our last break of the day. Ends of closing
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: nine minutes after right after this, you're listening to show,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Here we are last break of the day.
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: It's been a good day, good Tuesday. Yeah, we've got
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: fun today. We have so much fun. He've been on
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: fire all morning morning, just crazy clingham blacker. Only black
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: in the palace. But don't nobody know him yet because
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Harry had outside and they ain't never talked about it,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: but they know it's him because I have told him
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: if you left, you don't let me in it. Yeah. See,
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: I've never gone in public because if you if you
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: let me in the palace, I'll keep my damn. Don't
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: let me in the palace. I'm going to the tabloids.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: So Earl they've let earl of aulting him. They don't
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: give him no power nothing when he walked around and
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: get all the minutes. But can't I say this though, Steve.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: I was watching TV yesterday and they were saying that
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: that's one of the reasons why they want to talk
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to Harry and Megan, why they had that meeting, because
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: they don't want them to do interviews and talk about
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: and go public. So it's kind of like what you're saying, Steve,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: You don't say know what he's talking about? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I still if the counter running, y'all. He's never known
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: anything else, right, this is his inheritance. All of this.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: She didn't got over there. She unhappy and she wants
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to start and have their own life, and he's convinced.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: She's convinced the man and he loves a woman and
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: he trying to make her happy. You got I ain't leaving.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: Hey hey hey, yeah, the media and everybody and Margie
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: will have another meeting. Hey, you knew what this was.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: Where as we going and get all this now? We
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: can build a pril behind the castle if you want to.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I can have them seal off of Ween Well, that's
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: where they live. They do like that leaving. We ain't
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: got to work. We don't need no damn money. All
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: we got to do is take you. I mean, you
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: know they said that people were telling her to take
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: your black baby and lead. See it's a lot of
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: racial stuff. They said she was dealing. I'm gonna take
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: my black baby. I'm not leaving them. And when you
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: see him, you gonna say your highness when you see him,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: when you want to be royal, I would that you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: can't have all that I want to be. I want
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: to be happy. Yeah, I do too. All right, Well,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: you know Earl of Aldingham. I love how he keeps
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: it on point. He really is on point with this
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: one black people. Yeah, it's universally the same situation. Hey,
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: can I can I share this with you all? Yeah?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: It's a cool up. Yeah, you know, Um, before we
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: get out of him, I want to share something with you.
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: I've noticed a lot that goes on, especially because of
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: social media and and everything, and just even before social
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: media can happen, so many people predicate their happiness based
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: on comparisons. You know, a lot of people are trying
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: to find their happiness and measure their happiness against someone
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: else's moves makeup layout, plan, and position. That's a dangerous
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: thing everybody, because we have all been set on very
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: very unique paths. No two paths are the same. There
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: are similarities, but no two paths are the same. You
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: are running too the same types of circumstances, but all
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: the circumstances will be different for all of us. So
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: when you start predicating your success and happiness on the
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: comparison of somebody else, you're setting yourself up for majors
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: appointment because there's a great chance, a ninety nine point
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: nine percent chance that that's not your route at all.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, I can assure you that
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: it's one hundred percent chance that it's not your route.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: You know, two people make the exact same journey. Oh,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you can have the same goals, but the route getting
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: there will differ. Each and every one of us would
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: have a different route because we're in different positions, in
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: places and situations in life. So stop comparing yourself to
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: other people success that you're looking for that's not their success.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: And the reason you shouldn't compare yourself to this is
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: because that's their success, it's not yours. Yours could be
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: slightly different, just as rewarding if you would only look within.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: But if you're looking for your happiness outside, you'll never
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: be happy and content within. And that happens to so
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: many people. Let their success be their success. Be happy
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: for people. I know that's hard for some people because
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: there's so many haters out here now, but that the
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: haters don't outweigh the good will people. They just don't.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: It's just the haters are so much louder what they mess.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: But listen to me. Just you can be happy for somebody.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: You know. You don't have to support them, but you
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: don't have to tear them down either. Just let them
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: have whatever level of success they're gonna have. If you
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: spent all the time that you're taking comparison looking over
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: the fence at their success and with just tend to
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: your mission, not to your business. Tend to your mission.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Get yourself a mission in twenty twenty. Make twenty twenty
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: the year that you have a mission. A mission is
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: something you have to accomplish. This is the mission, and
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: it may not get all completed in twenty twenty, but
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: start the process to tending to your mission. This is
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: my mission this year and lay claim to that, don't
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: worry about nobody else's success, stop comparing yours to theirs,
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: and tend to your mission. You will have a much
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: happier life. You'll get to enjoy who you really are
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: if you just stop compares comparing yourself to who they are.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Because I got news for you. The majority of the time,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: who they are are not what it seems. Those are
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: my closing remarks. Drop it, y'all, have a great weekend
