- 0:14Speaker 1: just like the Melican buck things. And it's tough y'all
- 0:19Speaker 1: to be true. Good to the hardy guy listening to

- 0:38Speaker 1: join yeah, by join me and be doing me. Honey,
- 0:53Speaker 1: sat turn Yeah you're going to do you go. You

- 1:43Speaker 1: to turn out to turn water wanter go. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your back. Uh huh, I'm sure will come on
- 2:02Speaker 1: and everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig
- 2:06Speaker 1: me now, one and all. It's Steve Harvey man oh Man,
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Yeah, trying to make it work too.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I'm not trying. I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm getting it.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm getting it done to the best of my abilities. Now.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Something funny my father taught me. He said something, when
- 2:25Speaker 1: you've done all you can do, if you've done your
- 2:29Speaker 1: absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
- 2:34Speaker 1: the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
- 2:41Speaker 1: That used to bug me, man, when my father used
- 2:44Speaker 1: to tell me that used the son, when you've done
- 2:46Speaker 1: your absolute best and you think you k' do no more.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You've done all you can and it still don't get
- 2:53Speaker 1: the job done. Take yourself a deep breath and do
- 2:59Speaker 1: some more. And you know what I found that has
- 3:03Speaker 1: worked every single time, every single time, because what my
- 3:10Speaker 1: father knew was that what you think is your breaking point,
- 3:16Speaker 1: or what you think is you're all at all? He says, son,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's just something about it. Man, if you just gather yourself,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you got a little bit more. Everybody got some more.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And you know, I gotta be honest with you. It
- 3:35Speaker 1: has worked. It has helped me greatly. And um, you
- 3:40Speaker 1: know if everybody does have some more. You know I
- 3:43Speaker 1: tell that to my sons all the time, that I
- 3:45Speaker 1: did my best. Well, let marriage to something else. Could
- 3:48Speaker 1: you have done anything else? Could you have studied a
- 3:51Speaker 1: little harder, Could you have shown up a little bit earlier,
- 3:54Speaker 1: could you stayed a little bit later? Yeah, well then
- 4:00Speaker 1: okay that's what you should have done. Then See, that's
- 4:03Speaker 1: always a way. But if you're going to create excuses,
- 4:08Speaker 1: if you're gonna make them up all the time about
- 4:10Speaker 1: why you don't get it done, I have a very
- 4:13Speaker 1: very sad uh statement for you right now, You're never
- 4:18Speaker 1: gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get to the top,
- 4:22Speaker 1: not to the top. You can get halfway up, now,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you can get a third of the way up, you
- 4:27Speaker 1: can get three quarters of the way up. But if
- 4:30Speaker 1: you don't have that little extra reserve in you, you're
- 4:34Speaker 1: not getting to the top. The top is only reserved
- 4:38Speaker 1: for those that have the wherewithal and the power to desire,
- 4:43Speaker 1: the drive and the gut reaching effort to get to
- 4:49Speaker 1: the top. The top is reserved only for the top.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's just the top to ain't but one top then
- 4:55Speaker 1: the middle done it ain't it? You know, the top,
- 4:58Speaker 1: the top of the mountain have where it's a different view.
- 5:01Speaker 1: At the top, things look different from up top. So
- 5:05Speaker 1: if you want to get to the top of whatever
- 5:08Speaker 1: your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is, you
- 5:15Speaker 1: got to do extra. You have to do more. More
- 5:19Speaker 1: is expected of you. More. But here's what's really crazy.
- 5:23Speaker 1: More is required of you. Don't live your life in
- 5:27Speaker 1: the lacks of daisical state. Don't wake up every day
- 5:31Speaker 1: with the feeling of, well, you know, whatever happens happens now, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: have us say so in your life you. First of all,
- 5:40Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Who has God named the
- 5:45Speaker 1: person that? How that God has given authority over you?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Named the person? Where is it in scripture? Where anywhere where?
- 5:54Speaker 1: Show me anywhere where it says this person has the
- 5:59Speaker 1: right over you, this person right here, this one right here.
- 6:05Speaker 1: You have to do everything they say and what they say.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Only show me that right there, Show me who they're
- 6:12Speaker 1: talking about. Certainly, certainly I have not met that person. Now.
- 6:18Speaker 1: My parents were great to me, and there was their
- 6:21Speaker 1: job to offer me lead, leadership and guidance along a
- 6:24Speaker 1: mouth along the way. But as I grew up, man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I had to go out here and get it on
- 6:28Speaker 1: my you know, I had to go out here and
- 6:30Speaker 1: get it on my own. But who is the person?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Nobody has domain over you. God didn't create that person.
- 6:38Speaker 1: So what you're sitting here for? Man? What are you
- 6:40Speaker 1: sitting here for? Letting people who do not know direct
- 6:45Speaker 1: your path? A lot of us get stopped because we
- 6:50Speaker 1: were worried so much about what people think about us,
- 6:53Speaker 1: were worried too much about what people say about us.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Why are you worried about all these people with what
- 7:02Speaker 1: they got to say about you? And all these people
- 7:05Speaker 1: with what they got to think about you, when here's
- 7:07Speaker 1: the news flash, they don't know either. All these people
- 7:12Speaker 1: that you overly concerned about, all these people that you
- 7:18Speaker 1: going to these answers for, they need answers to stop.
- 7:23Speaker 1: What are you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Here is a solution to all of that. You have
- 7:31Speaker 1: one source that will be there for you to the
- 7:34Speaker 1: end of time, and that is your relationship with God.
- 7:39Speaker 1: That is the one thing that's solid and for shure,
- 7:42Speaker 1: He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell. He
- 7:46Speaker 1: rides with you in the police car. He's with you
- 7:49Speaker 1: on your job up at to school. He's down there
- 7:51Speaker 1: in the board meetings with you. He goes with you
- 7:54Speaker 1: when you travel on planes. He sits with you when
- 7:57Speaker 1: you're in a relationship. He helps you with your parents
- 8:00Speaker 1: and skills. He helps you. He's there to assist you.
- 8:04Speaker 1: He shows if you do the right things, he show
- 8:06Speaker 1: you and guide you to your next job. When you
- 8:08Speaker 1: lose your job and you think it's a wrap all,
- 8:11Speaker 1: there's some good behind him. Man, God is always working
- 8:15Speaker 1: on your behalf. To those that believe you just gotta believe.
- 8:18Speaker 1: He don't ask you for nothing. Else, believe in me.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That's all He asked you to do. What you're tripping for, man,
- 8:24Speaker 1: And then when you make the decision to believe in him,
- 8:28Speaker 1: and it comes out your mouth from time to time somewhere.
- 8:31Speaker 1: What you're worried about, what people say, What you're worried about,
- 8:34Speaker 1: what they think? For? Why? Who are they? They need God?
- 8:37Speaker 1: To you? You? You? You're telling them you found something
- 8:40Speaker 1: new that you're gonna give this a shot right here. Now.
- 8:43Speaker 1: They got some yang ying yang and some yakety yact
- 8:45Speaker 1: to say about that when they need God too. That's
- 8:49Speaker 1: what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 8:52Speaker 1: be knocking your dream and stuff. Look, if you're an atheist, man,
- 8:55Speaker 1: do your thing, do your thing. But you can't create
- 8:58Speaker 1: no laws while I can't do my don't make no sense, man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: that makes no sense at all to me. You have
- 9:06Speaker 1: the right to go be whatever you wanna be. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: know if you don't you don't like the fact that
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm in school, You got my head biled down and
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'm saying a prayer for I take this test. Just
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't buy your head, don't you pray? But if some
- 9:19Speaker 1: kids want to get to go that that's some crazy mess.
- 9:21Speaker 1: That's what happened in our schools. We took prayer out
- 9:24Speaker 1: of schools, and now look at our schools. Our schools. Man,
- 9:28Speaker 1: you you you you you you? You send your child
- 9:31Speaker 1: at school and and and someone else comes back home.
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's a whole another thing right here. That that's not
- 9:40Speaker 1: what I want to talk to you about. But I
- 9:42Speaker 1: was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 9:45Speaker 1: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 9:48Speaker 1: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 9:52Speaker 1: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 9:58Speaker 1: the person that made you to find out what he
- 10:00Speaker 1: created you for. I ain't talking about your parents, who
- 10:05Speaker 1: made your parents. This is God, we created in his image.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Why would you not talk to your maker to see
- 10:12Speaker 1: why you got made? That? That don't that don't make
- 10:16Speaker 1: sense to you. If you're sitting and gotten yourself in
- 10:19Speaker 1: a situation. You're sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you
- 10:23Speaker 1: locked up. You're doing some time, man, be a good
- 10:26Speaker 1: time for you to But whatever your situation is, man,
- 10:30Speaker 1: God can get you through it. He can give you
- 10:31Speaker 1: the strength the courage to wherewithal the understanding everything you need,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
- 10:39Speaker 1: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 10:43Speaker 1: God every single day of my life and what he's
- 10:48Speaker 1: done for me. Man off the chain. But guess what,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you'll do the same thing for you. You're listening to
- 10:57Speaker 1: the ladies and gentlemen, barsy girls, people from all around
- 11:04Speaker 1: the world. You are listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: Man bad as Morning showing the land. This show is

- 11:21Speaker 1: a draw. Football is back, baby. And if you're from Cleveland,
- 11:25Speaker 1: like I am a nothing evil to be excited. Bounna
- 11:31Speaker 1: love him? Damn Brown Corne dog pound. Yeah. Yeah. We
- 11:36Speaker 1: lost the Cincinnati yesterday too. Yeah, score a point though
- 11:46Speaker 1: the Cleveland score a point. Here we scored a point,
- 11:50Speaker 1: but a point don't mean nothing when the other team, damn,
- 11:53Speaker 1: they're got forty. It was a blowout like that. You're dedicated. Now,
- 12:02Speaker 1: we'll keep your job. I like your loyalty though, win
- 12:06Speaker 1: or lose, win or lose will be okay. The player,
- 12:14Speaker 1: Oh Jay is upset. Steve. By the way, he bought
- 12:17Speaker 1: one of those headphones with the mic attached to it,
- 12:20Speaker 1: and it was cute. Yeah, he thought it was kidding.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Sounded like a drive, so they made me take it up.
- 12:26Speaker 1: So he's a little upset about me in particular, had
- 12:30Speaker 1: mic attached to it. Yeah. There it is, right, Bobby Brown,
- 12:38Speaker 1: that I'm using all damn day. I'm running getting on
- 12:45Speaker 1: your like Janny Jack to drive. Oh man, big one,
- 12:58Speaker 1: real big man. Oh he got it. Oh he got
- 13:05Speaker 1: when we win it. He got cleats on everything that
- 13:10Speaker 1: game when we win it. Who was number ninety? Did
- 13:14Speaker 1: daveon Clowney? Yeah? Yeah, that's something I've never done. Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 1: what was somebody else name? On my back? I ain't
- 13:24Speaker 1: never done that. When I last time I was a
- 13:26Speaker 1: little kid, I wrote kareem. Now I wrote on Elgin
- 13:30Speaker 1: Bail on my sneakers. Yeah, y'all don't even know who
- 13:33Speaker 1: that is. I know, Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had Chamberlain
- 13:39Speaker 1: on one path. Yeah. And you would have loved Chamberlain too, Jay, Yeah,
- 13:45Speaker 1: you would have loved Chamberlain. How did you was that
- 13:52Speaker 1: the first thing? You know? It was a high score
- 14:00Speaker 1: because Carolina like, well, we got a couple of things
- 14:08Speaker 1: to talk about. I have an apology to make on
- 14:10Speaker 1: the air today and Jay's gottah. We're gonna talk about Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 1: that's what I told seven. Yeah it was late. Didn't
- 14:21Speaker 1: mean when you got seven and on the team. Damn
- 14:26Speaker 1: they got forwarded. What is it? All right, something's funny
- 14:32Speaker 1: coming up. Something funny is coming up, and we'll review
- 14:35Speaker 1: the weekend. You have an apology, all of that coming up.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We'll be back at thirty two after the hour. You're
- 14:41Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go,
- 14:45Speaker 1: something funny. Time for something funny on this Monday. Let's
- 14:48Speaker 1: check in and see what happened with the crew over
- 14:50Speaker 1: the weekend. Steve, looks like you had you had an
- 14:52Speaker 1: off weekend, meaning off head. Well, we did radio Friday,
- 14:59Speaker 1: but Friday, Saturday and Sunday I went on a golf trip.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I played really well. I am the self proclaimed greatest
- 15:08Speaker 1: every now and then golfer ever lived. Now, if you
- 15:11Speaker 1: play golf, you might not like my game, but then yeah,
- 15:16Speaker 1: but I only play nine there. But I shot at
- 15:19Speaker 1: eighty nine the first day, eighty six the second day,
- 15:23Speaker 1: which is huge for me for a guy that doesn't
- 15:26Speaker 1: play be four times a year. You know, man, if
- 15:29Speaker 1: I could play, you know, if I could get me
- 15:32Speaker 1: six seven golf trips in the year, I'll be not
- 15:36Speaker 1: one a month. If I could play golf once a month,
- 15:38Speaker 1: it would be great. But I can't because of my schedule.
- 15:41Speaker 1: But I had a great weekend, had a wonderful time,
- 15:44Speaker 1: played golf on thanks Board, Greg Calhoun, Clay Burton, and
- 15:48Speaker 1: I met a Sunday dude came over from Prompt one
- 15:52Speaker 1: the Calhoun's Isaac from Alabama. Lord Jesus hit the ball
- 15:55Speaker 1: for than anybody I've ever seen live with my own eye.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Big boy Alabama were stroking that thing. Man one the man,
- 16:07Speaker 1: let me tell you something I'm talking about where he hit.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I stand in a holler for the ball. Oh dog
- 16:17Speaker 1: one time? Man, I mean the green, he said. Man,
- 16:21Speaker 1: this man, he was on a short, short port forward.
- 16:24Speaker 1: It was very difficult, but it's real short, like three twenty. Yeah. Now,
- 16:31Speaker 1: what clubs you play with? I played? Oh what golf club? No? No, no, no, no,
- 16:38Speaker 1: golf club. Well, I mind is like fitted. So I
- 16:42Speaker 1: have a Taylor Maid mostly tailor made. I ain't mad.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I got a couple of Callaway Callaway Hybridge. Yeah, and
- 16:54Speaker 1: what's your eyes? What do you play with? That's what
- 16:57Speaker 1: he's saying. Mostly Taylor made no. One just woods in
- 17:00Speaker 1: the others eyes. It's not right there, and you started talking, no, no, no,
- 17:04Speaker 1: it's for real. You don't have to say, well, the
- 17:09Speaker 1: most I played, but that was when the game first
- 17:11Speaker 1: started and was out there, Caddy when it's very first word,
- 17:15Speaker 1: Well when out when it's cold, because his ass, that's
- 17:20Speaker 1: what we do know. We know that when it's a
- 17:23Speaker 1: cold killing day, you know when you hand it back,
- 17:26Speaker 1: advance up, jock up the game right now, locking up
- 17:40Speaker 1: those of you that don't where this is all day,
- 17:44Speaker 1: this is, this is all day. They battly each their
- 17:46Speaker 1: own their illnesses. Junior guys sick of sale. J is
- 17:50Speaker 1: a diabetic. So they go back and can you find
- 17:55Speaker 1: this Junior don't like it when you get real cold
- 17:59Speaker 1: because that from me. And he's gonna breaking out through
- 18:03Speaker 1: the megaphone. Megaphone, he's going in. You're just locking up.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Well after you made the this is not just here
- 18:16Speaker 1: at the show. Sent in the riders room one day
- 18:20Speaker 1: and Junior comes and he gets he said, Jake, come in,
- 18:25Speaker 1: come in, tell her you know, Harry, tell me no,
- 18:38Speaker 1: but this is one of the one of the guys
- 18:43Speaker 1: had talked about he had drove a cross. Oh yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 1: he said, man, it took me could be a few days,
- 18:50Speaker 1: two days to get from Atlanta back to l A.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And Jay was like, oh, man, I mean when I
- 18:55Speaker 1: did that. I said, yeah, Doc, it was harder when
- 18:57Speaker 1: JA did it because he didn't do it. Boy horseback
- 19:02Speaker 1: all the camp fire, this is all day falling stars.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So it's also part of the big news this weekend. O. J.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Simpson was really yes at three thirty a mingo and
- 19:17Speaker 1: they just have a steel shot at him. With his
- 19:19Speaker 1: coat on. It looked like he had a phone, so
- 19:22Speaker 1: he was texting, Yeah, I don't know who he's going back. Well,
- 19:28Speaker 1: I think that their party words were, they told him
- 19:33Speaker 1: that's what they told him, Jay, don't come back. And
- 19:35Speaker 1: his words to them were, I don't intend to be back.
- 19:38Speaker 1: You're gonna do something stupid. I mean, it's okay now,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I think now, I think that we already got one
- 19:46Speaker 1: seven yelds, I mean another one. Well, yeah, and we
- 19:52Speaker 1: voted him was moving though he moved, he was moving quickly.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Don't move fast when ye open the gate open. And
- 20:02Speaker 1: there had to do with your age. Now I'm seeing
- 20:06Speaker 1: young and old get up out of the Yeah, I'm
- 20:09Speaker 1: gonna tell you right now how to broke out running.
- 20:15Speaker 1: So now where's he's in a Vegas right now? In
- 20:18Speaker 1: the gated community Florida. He's in a gated community in Vegas.
- 20:22Speaker 1: They said, Yeah, in a gated community. Had another lasting
- 20:27Speaker 1: is another damn gate? I see it gave you wall
- 20:30Speaker 1: I just standing in the middle of the street for
- 20:32Speaker 1: a while because what we ain't gonna do is another
- 20:34Speaker 1: while my first free day with just being a park
- 20:40Speaker 1: outside even tell your chip, yeah, man taking deep. God,
- 20:45Speaker 1: give me a frisbee and a dog and go out
- 20:48Speaker 1: there and just frisbee and a dog. I love it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: But he's on what five years probation. Yeah, he's gonna
- 20:55Speaker 1: do something. Put your money down. I'm telling you place
- 20:59Speaker 1: that I can't believe he's going to do anything. I
- 21:04Speaker 1: just well, you know what the good party is, and
- 21:07Speaker 1: um there's a good part I mean for him. Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 1: you know that that was the right amount of time
- 21:14Speaker 1: for the for this this crime. Years you know, if
- 21:18Speaker 1: you're holding the two murders against him, you know which
- 21:22Speaker 1: most people are still be there. But nine years was
- 21:26Speaker 1: good for for for the for the crime that he
- 21:29Speaker 1: committed here and he deserves a chance to get it right.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I have a question for you when something time before
- 21:37Speaker 1: we leave, Steve. Alright, it's Monday, so that means Reben
- 21:40Speaker 1: Motown Diack and Depth jam are here with church complaints.
- 21:44Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 21:48Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
- 21:52Speaker 1: the hour. Miss and will be here. You saw her
- 21:54Speaker 1: over the weekend, Carla at Circle of Sisters. I did
- 21:58Speaker 1: we hung out. I'll tell you guys, all of body
- 22:00Speaker 1: all right, ms Anna's gonna be here to update us
- 22:02Speaker 1: with today's national news and headlines. And of course it's Monday,
- 22:06Speaker 1: so that means it is time for the reverend and
- 22:09Speaker 1: the deacon with today's church complaints. Yeah, m we got
- 22:17Speaker 1: to get that argument. We've got to work with this boy.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah easy, very verosh Low with to come on, we
- 22:30Speaker 1: today deal with these church complaints. You know, I happen
- 22:36Speaker 1: to reside over the most ungrateful parishioners over convocation, any
- 22:45Speaker 1: oil in the in the union, in in in churches.
- 22:49Speaker 1: So go ahead, deacon and represent the complaints. If you
- 22:54Speaker 1: past that, we have a situation coming up third Sunday,
- 22:58Speaker 1: the Light Skinned Quiet and the dogs Skin quiet. At odds,
- 23:02Speaker 1: they refused to come together the saing on this third
- 23:07Speaker 1: Sunday coming up, and I need you to discuss it
- 23:09Speaker 1: with them. All. You need to make a decision if
- 23:11Speaker 1: you want the Light Skin quite a sing the dogs Skin. Well,
- 23:15Speaker 1: what I've decided to do was release both quas and
- 23:19Speaker 1: just let their kids sing. Because the light skin people
- 23:23Speaker 1: have been sleeping with the dog Skin and choir and
- 23:26Speaker 1: we got a nice mix now. So we're gonna have
- 23:31Speaker 1: the mixed kid choa. We call them the melody Mulatto.
- 23:38Speaker 1: They're gonna be singing all our songs now, the Melody Mulatto.
- 23:45Speaker 1: They come from the Light Skin and dog Skin and
- 23:49Speaker 1: getting together. They say they don't care for each other,
- 23:51Speaker 1: but they have been compilating and making kids, you know,
- 23:57Speaker 1: and they big hit. They're gonna be safe this year.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Is you light up my life? You light up my life.
- 24:14Speaker 1: It's just gonna be wonderful to get the kids. Go ahead, deacon,
- 24:20Speaker 1: all right, do you think we could probably get step
- 24:22Speaker 1: carry they come out past it and be a probab.
- 24:25Speaker 1: What you're not gonna do is bring the NBA into
- 24:28Speaker 1: this at all you know, and you know they they
- 24:35Speaker 1: be selection is you are the light of my life,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and then triple selection. This little light of mine, I'm
- 24:46Speaker 1: gonna let it shine. Yeah, and the dog skinned boys
- 24:51Speaker 1: leading that it's gonna be wondered. Go ahead. When I
- 24:58Speaker 1: passed out enough, you know that Southings and Arenthal James
- 25:01Speaker 1: sat at the back of the church. He wanted to
- 25:05Speaker 1: come and have service with us. Now he did. He
- 25:08Speaker 1: didn't stay. He left service aparently, but he left a
- 25:11Speaker 1: note for you. He says he wants to join, but
- 25:14Speaker 1: only if he can start against suit ministry. Something that's
- 25:18Speaker 1: up to you to make a decision on that. We're
- 25:20Speaker 1: not gonna let ol j become a member of this church,
- 25:24Speaker 1: cause he's given he's been in prison nine years. He'd
- 25:30Speaker 1: been pressing the licensed plates and making bread in the
- 25:34Speaker 1: bakery as his job. Now having only earned twelve cent
- 25:39Speaker 1: an hour. That came to his total earners for the
- 25:43Speaker 1: nine years, oh eight hundred dollars. So he didn't tied
- 25:51Speaker 1: it eight in dollars and then send it in total
- 25:54Speaker 1: for nine years. We're not gonna be able to build
- 25:57Speaker 1: nothing from the building front with old Ja Center eating
- 26:05Speaker 1: made eight hundred dollars and sent got to do with it. Well,
- 26:14Speaker 1: if you ain't making but twelve center hour, I can't
- 26:17Speaker 1: fight you. I can't fight to get you membership. I'm
- 26:20Speaker 1: not gonna have anybody we're about doing who they're sitting
- 26:23Speaker 1: next to, and all this hill be scaring me. What
- 26:27Speaker 1: we don't need a no scared church members. One lady said,
- 26:32Speaker 1: I don't even want him cutting his eyes and something.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Go ahead, Deacon, I passed to the gun band that
- 26:45Speaker 1: is at it again. We have fifty two pieces of
- 26:48Speaker 1: gum stuck to the back of the pews. Sister Merlean
- 26:51Speaker 1: Banks wants money back. But how outfit that has been
- 26:54Speaker 1: ruined and half the quiet members got gum on they
- 26:57Speaker 1: rolled because we're gonna have to find out who the
- 26:59Speaker 1: gun bandit. Ever, Well, I told you all what we
- 27:03Speaker 1: were gonna start doing. On the roles that the gun
- 27:07Speaker 1: band that has been hitting. We're gonna have a young
- 27:11Speaker 1: Sunday school class sit there, because they usually eat the
- 27:14Speaker 1: gum off the back or the chairs and and rechoose it.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Let us know what roles that they've been hitting with,
- 27:24Speaker 1: and that's where we're gonna headed young kids card class.
- 27:29Speaker 1: They usually take that gum over and rechoose it, go ahead, Deacon.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Solving problems, what I do, don't cut on the day complains,
- 27:39Speaker 1: how complains usually coming solution. Since the Madda Jens Burns
- 27:46Speaker 1: isn't custody as of Saturday night. She took a horse
- 27:49Speaker 1: from the funeral, how he said, she was just barring
- 27:52Speaker 1: it real quick, the run to the casino on that
- 27:54Speaker 1: AND's gonna bring it back. However, there was a body
- 27:58Speaker 1: in the bag the theopholist car, and his funeral was
- 28:02Speaker 1: actually Saturday morning. The body never made it, uh, Belly
- 28:06Speaker 1: said at five thousand and the Carter family is rolling
- 28:09Speaker 1: around looking for her. Ah, you want to well, just
- 28:15Speaker 1: the third incident we've had with the funeral home. Yeah,
- 28:21Speaker 1: I don't know why they left the body in there overnight. Bath. Well,
- 28:24Speaker 1: I'm actually guilty of a couple things myself, because I
- 28:27Speaker 1: had all My nephew wanted a limousine for his prom
- 28:32Speaker 1: and they didn't have any more, so while rented out
- 28:35Speaker 1: to hers and took him in the prom in the
- 28:40Speaker 1: embarrassing Yes, so are you the one that got the
- 28:46Speaker 1: suit after Bean, because the suit is missing to Well,
- 28:50Speaker 1: what I did was nobody in it. When my nephew
- 28:53Speaker 1: used it. I just had him used it in four
- 28:56Speaker 1: her friends with with him. They had all lawn chairs
- 28:59Speaker 1: and the back really interest and when he pulled up
- 29:07Speaker 1: in front of the from you know, I mean we
- 29:11Speaker 1: got a car here, he killed it. That what I'm
- 29:19Speaker 1: talking about won't be That's all right, go ahead, now
- 29:23Speaker 1: that's it for the day. Pass. Well, that's it. Now.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Let me say something here about all these complaints that
- 29:32Speaker 1: we've been dealing with. I want to next Monday, limit
- 29:37Speaker 1: the complaints if you can, do they have anything to
- 29:42Speaker 1: be grateful full at this damn church. All right, we
- 29:48Speaker 1: are great for Monday next week. Yeah, I know we're not,
- 29:54Speaker 1: but I'm just ash if just one time they could
- 30:00Speaker 1: have something to be grateful fall instead all the complaining
- 30:06Speaker 1: because he's getting on my nerves. Not sound like sitting
- 30:10Speaker 1: up here light skin quad dog Skin Qua o J
- 30:13Speaker 1: want to become a member. Got the gum band and
- 30:16Speaker 1: penning stuff on Chad right here, sister Matti instead of
- 30:19Speaker 1: here strow the damn with a body in it. All right?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:28Speaker 1: our national news with miss Anne and we'll be back
- 30:31Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to the Steven Show. So
- 30:38Speaker 1: we continue to pray for the victims families. So, Steve Um,
- 30:42Speaker 1: we have a lot of news you got to this morning.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Miss Anne is here. Yeah, so let's just get right
- 30:47Speaker 1: to it, Ladies and gentlemen, she's here, miss and Trip,
- 30:51Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you everybody. Okay, it is a has
- 30:53Speaker 1: been a really really hectic morning, very very a lot
- 30:56Speaker 1: of stuff going on and very very sad news. Okay,
- 30:59Speaker 1: let's start out right now. Uh. In Las Vegas, about
- 31:01Speaker 1: six hours ago, at least twenty people were killed and
- 31:04Speaker 1: some one hundred others were injured at an outdoor country
- 31:07Speaker 1: music concert across from the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Now, authorities
- 31:11Speaker 1: say the gunman shot the concert goers from the thirty
- 31:13Speaker 1: second floor of the hotel, and then they went up
- 31:16Speaker 1: there and they got the shoot and they killed him.
- 31:18Speaker 1: He's thought to have been a local man now that
- 31:20Speaker 1: they know his identity, but they haven't released it yet.
- 31:22Speaker 1: He is dead. And here is Clarke County Sheriff Joe Lombardo.
- 31:26Speaker 1: I have two police officers that are currently at the hospital,
- 31:30Speaker 1: one in critical condition, the other one minor injuries. But
- 31:35Speaker 1: there are other police officers that were off duty attending
- 31:38Speaker 1: the concert that have expired. We have no, we don't
- 31:41Speaker 1: have those individuals identified. At this point, authorities say they're
- 31:44Speaker 1: looking for the gunman's roommate, an Asian woman identified as
- 31:48Speaker 1: Mary Lou Danley. They're not saying that she has anything
- 31:50Speaker 1: to do with the shooting, but they just wished to
- 31:52Speaker 1: talk to her. They don't know why this gunman did
- 31:55Speaker 1: what he did, what his motives were, if he was tied,
- 31:57Speaker 1: they say again, right, they feel that he was a
- 32:00Speaker 1: own a shooter, a go lone wolf for some reason,
- 32:02Speaker 1: but they don't know. So they are at this point
- 32:04Speaker 1: looking for his roommate, identified as Mary Lou Danley, also
- 32:07Speaker 1: a local woman. There were two terror strikes on Sunday
- 32:10Speaker 1: in France and in Canada. First, police say two win
- 32:14Speaker 1: were killed at the main train station in Marseilles when
- 32:16Speaker 1: a man came at them with a knife. One woman
- 32:18Speaker 1: had her throat slit, the other was stabbed to death
- 32:21Speaker 1: before soldiers were able to shoot and kill the attacker.
- 32:24Speaker 1: That was in France. Then in Edmonton, Alberta, authorities are
- 32:27Speaker 1: conducting an investigation to a couple of attacks there and
- 32:30Speaker 1: a thirty year old man is in custody. Say the
- 32:33Speaker 1: suspect first drove his car into a police officer and
- 32:36Speaker 1: then stabbed the officer with a knife. The assailant got
- 32:38Speaker 1: away and isis flag was allegedly found in his car.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Then he comes back out again. They say, the same
- 32:44Speaker 1: guy later this night, later that night and rented you
- 32:46Speaker 1: haul truck, smashing into four pedestrians. The suspect is in
- 32:50Speaker 1: custody now. People continue to react to President Trump's recent
- 32:54Speaker 1: tweets about Puerto Rico, in particular the one where he
- 32:57Speaker 1: claims that Puerto Ricans want everything done for them. San
- 33:00Speaker 1: Juan's mayor common Land Cruz tells ABC's This Week that
- 33:03Speaker 1: she'd rather focus on what's important. We have caught the
- 33:06Speaker 1: red take that's the one message. And number two, let
- 33:10Speaker 1: us not talk about the debt, let us not talk
- 33:12Speaker 1: about um the cost of reconstruction. Let us just talk
- 33:17Speaker 1: about saving lives right now. That's right. Things have changed
- 33:20Speaker 1: somewhat and that there are some people with water. In
- 33:23Speaker 1: the metropolitan areas, about fift have water. But however, in
- 33:27Speaker 1: the suburban parts, in the country parts, about only of
- 33:31Speaker 1: the folks there have water. And of course they have
- 33:34Speaker 1: been people there without water or food for twelve days
- 33:38Speaker 1: that's why has how dire the situation is the creator
- 33:41Speaker 1: of the award winning Broadway production Hamilton's not so diplomatic
- 33:44Speaker 1: as the mayor of San Juan, Lynn Manuel and Miranda,
- 33:47Speaker 1: who along with his father, has been working on relief
- 33:49Speaker 1: efforts in Puerto Rico, tweeted directly to the president quote,
- 33:52Speaker 1: you're going straight to hell. No long lines for you.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Someone will say right this way, sir, and they'll clear
- 33:57Speaker 1: a path for you. And in referring to Trump's accusing
- 34:00Speaker 1: San Juan's mayor poor leadership, Miranda tweets, she has been
- 34:03Speaker 1: working seven You have been golfing. You're going straight to hell.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Fastest golf court you ever took. President Trump, by the
- 34:11Speaker 1: way he's doing Puerto Rico. Tomorrow sad news for TV fans.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Game show host Monty Hall has died. You may remember
- 34:19Speaker 1: him from the game show Let's Make a Deal. Uh.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Monty Hall was ninety one years old, originally Canadian, and O. J.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Simpson is spending his first full day free as a freeman.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Simpson walked out of Nevada's Lovelock Correctional Center on Sunday
- 34:42Speaker 1: after spending nine years for armed robbery and other offenses.
- 34:45Speaker 1: He was supposed to be released today, but I guess
- 34:47Speaker 1: they said that, you know, we'll just do on Sunday,
- 34:49Speaker 1: just kind of avoid all the press and stuff. The
- 34:51Speaker 1: seven year old former superstar athlete and actor had been
- 34:54Speaker 1: in prison since two thousand and eight after he was
- 34:56Speaker 1: convicted for a botch robbery. When he left, a report
- 34:59Speaker 1: did get to him and ask him, you know, where
- 35:01Speaker 1: he's gonna live, Where you gonna go? Yeah, none of
- 35:05Speaker 1: the business. Simpson quitted in the murders of his ex
- 35:07Speaker 1: wife Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman in the ninety nineties.
- 35:10Speaker 1: The Goldman's now say that since he's free, they're going
- 35:12Speaker 1: to try to collect on that settlement they got in
- 35:14Speaker 1: a civil suit against O. J. Simpson because of the
- 35:19Speaker 1: trauma and what's going on in Puerto Rico. You know,
- 35:21Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live opened its new season two days ago,
- 35:24Speaker 1: and Saturday Night Live took on the Trump administration's response
- 35:27Speaker 1: to Puerto Rico. Alec Baldwin and his reward winning portrayal
- 35:30Speaker 1: of Mr Trump did another impersonation. But you know, he
- 35:34Speaker 1: was like talking about, well, you know, what should we do,
- 35:36Speaker 1: and uh, don't you know, you know, it's as though
- 35:39Speaker 1: he did not know that Puerto Rico was a state
- 35:41Speaker 1: or anything like that, and it perhaps that is the
- 35:44Speaker 1: problem here. It is I want you to hear this piece.
- 35:46Speaker 1: It's Alec Baldwin and he is impersonating al He's impersonating
- 35:51Speaker 1: the President of the United States, as he's done for
- 35:53Speaker 1: the last season of Saturday Night Live. Here we go.
- 35:58Speaker 1: But you're in an island in the world, ocean fishes
- 36:04Speaker 1: and bubbles and turtles that bag. I want to help you,
- 36:07Speaker 1: but we have to take care of America first. Wait,
- 36:10Speaker 1: you do know where a US territory, don't you? That
- 36:13Speaker 1: was the joke that they didn't think that Mr Trump
- 36:15Speaker 1: knew that New Puerto Rico was a commonwealth. Playboy founder
- 36:19Speaker 1: Hugh Hefner was laid to rest in a private ceremony
- 36:22Speaker 1: over the weekend in Los Angeles. He's buried in the
- 36:24Speaker 1: plot that he brought right next to Marilyn Monroe years ago.
- 36:27Speaker 1: He bought the plot right next to her. Lyman Row,
- 36:30Speaker 1: by the way, was the first cover girl of Heffner's
- 36:32Speaker 1: Playboy magazine, So I guess that didn't mean a lot
- 36:35Speaker 1: to him. Maybe he knew her, probably personally, I don't know,
- 36:38Speaker 1: but that's where he's very right next to Marilyn Monroe.
- 36:41Speaker 1: And he bought that plot years and years ago. And
- 36:44Speaker 1: just finally, you know the Oakland Raiders, by the way,
- 36:46Speaker 1: running back Marshawn Lynch walked into the Bronco Stadium in
- 36:48Speaker 1: Denver wearing a T shirt that read Everybody Versus Trump.
- 36:52Speaker 1: He sat down during the national anthem, but his teammates
- 36:55Speaker 1: and his coaches protected him. They shielded him, They stood
- 36:58Speaker 1: around him so that the US couldn't get a good
- 37:00Speaker 1: picture of him. That's what they did for Marshawn Lynch.
- 37:03Speaker 1: And today's International Day of Non Violence. It's also International
- 37:07Speaker 1: Guardian Angel Day and we all need one, right, Okay,
- 37:13Speaker 1: make sure you don't drive faster than your Guardian Angel
- 37:15Speaker 1: can fly. We'll be back with Eugene the Butterfly at
- 37:18Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. So stay two to the

- 44:43Speaker 1: can And did you like them where they loaded load?
- 44:50Speaker 1: It means a lot of stuff in well, I had
- 44:51Speaker 1: a lot of stuff. I had beef and chicken. Oh okay,
- 44:56Speaker 1: I had salt and hard shill Okay, yeah, you gotta
- 45:00Speaker 1: have to I haven't had a hard shell taco. That's

- 45:13Speaker 1: J Anthony Brown, can I tell you something? You know
- 45:16Speaker 1: how many women stop me? A circle of sisters holing
- 45:18Speaker 1: about this hip hop? Peela was like that dog on
- 45:23Speaker 1: j Anthony Brown has joined y'all. He is a fool
- 45:27Speaker 1: baby camp. Your ship came all right, coming up the
- 45:31Speaker 1: nephew in the building with his frank phone call. Right
- 45:35Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 45:39Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four
- 45:41Speaker 1: minutes after you do not want to miss two days
- 45:44Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Alright, nephew, come on, what you got with
- 45:47Speaker 1: the prank phone call? Your wife is having a black baby?
- 45:53Speaker 1: Is she black? No? That's how you call your wife
- 45:57Speaker 1: is having a black baby. Don't mean you want to
- 46:02Speaker 1: shock somebody, shock a white person into something, your wife
- 46:05Speaker 1: having a black bait, just like that? We fight? Yeah,
- 46:21Speaker 1: all right, let's run it. Hello. Hello, I'm looking for
- 46:26Speaker 1: a William. How you doing. Listen? My name is Simmons.
- 46:32Speaker 1: I was I don't know how to uh oh man.
- 46:37Speaker 1: My wife and I evidently go to the same um
- 46:40Speaker 1: fertility specialist that you and your wife go to. Dr Doctor.
- 46:44Speaker 1: You are you familiar with doc? I'm familiar with doctor.
- 46:48Speaker 1: But that's supposed to be confidential. Yeah, I'm gonna weare
- 46:51Speaker 1: of that as well, sir. My wife is out on
- 46:53Speaker 1: business right now. She's she's gone for I won't be
- 46:55Speaker 1: back until Tuesday. But I got a call today, very
- 47:00Speaker 1: sturbing phone call, and wanted to you know, I looked
- 47:02Speaker 1: your number up. They did tell me what was going
- 47:04Speaker 1: on and kind of somebody told you my number you
- 47:08Speaker 1: got You got my number from somebody? No, I looked
- 47:11Speaker 1: up your number here here here it is the nut show.
- 47:16Speaker 1: My wife and I evidently you you and you and
- 47:18Speaker 1: your wife have been going through the same type of
- 47:19Speaker 1: problems of trying to get pregnant and so forth and
- 47:22Speaker 1: so on. And uh, for my understanding, your wife is
- 47:25Speaker 1: what four or five months pregnant? I'm not sure. Wait
- 47:30Speaker 1: a minute, my wife is exactly five months pregnant. But
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'm still confused on how you're get in touch with
- 47:34Speaker 1: me and what this has to do with me. Well,
- 47:36Speaker 1: I mean, all that stuff that we've gone through is
- 47:38Speaker 1: totally confidential, and I'm kind of offended that you're calling me.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I understand that. Well, what's what's happening is, um, I
- 47:44Speaker 1: got a phone call from the doctor's office today. It
- 47:47Speaker 1: seems like there's been a huge mistake by the doctor's office.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Evidently your wife has been artificially inseminated with my seed.
- 47:57Speaker 1: And I was what I mean, I'm just as disturbed
- 48:02Speaker 1: as you are. You know what I mean, because I
- 48:04Speaker 1: mean me and my wife. You know, my wife is
- 48:06Speaker 1: two months pregnant, and finally, how can they do something
- 48:09Speaker 1: like that? I mean that that doesn't make any sense.
- 48:12Speaker 1: So I have no idea. All I know is is that,
- 48:16Speaker 1: you know, I hate to use the expression, but I'm
- 48:19Speaker 1: I'm I'm your wife's baby's daddy and and no, okay,
- 48:25Speaker 1: wait a minute, no, no, no, So make up that
- 48:30Speaker 1: that didn't happen. That doesn't happen, no way. So I'm
- 48:33Speaker 1: trying to make sure I bring the news to you
- 48:35Speaker 1: and see if there's anything that we can do to
- 48:37Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, after being five months pregnant, kind
- 48:39Speaker 1: of hard to rectify the problem. So I don't want
- 48:42Speaker 1: this to sound rude, and I don't want to sound wrong.
- 48:45Speaker 1: You said, baby daddy, are you black? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 48:49Speaker 1: yeah yeah black? And my wife is gonna have a
- 48:52Speaker 1: black baby. Well yeah, your wife, he is gonna have
- 48:54Speaker 1: a black baby. But what I want you to know
- 48:56Speaker 1: is I'm not paying no that i'll support. That's what
- 49:00Speaker 1: about child support? And my wife is having some of
- 49:03Speaker 1: the black duds kid? Are you crazy? No, I'm not
- 49:06Speaker 1: out of your No, I'm not out of my mind.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm just saying I didn't lay down and conceive a
- 49:12Speaker 1: child with your with your wife. So I'm making sure
- 49:15Speaker 1: I'm not going to be paying enough child support. But
- 49:18Speaker 1: I'm not even worried about the child support. I'll pay
- 49:20Speaker 1: the talk support. I'm worried about some doctor making a
- 49:24Speaker 1: hute mistake and and and oh my god, your wife
- 49:28Speaker 1: is having gonna have a black baby. I can't believe
- 49:30Speaker 1: that this is unbelievable. Ubelievable and I can't believe you
- 49:34Speaker 1: to call my house, give me the doctor, should give
- 49:38Speaker 1: me this? What don't you want it? It doesn't matter
- 49:41Speaker 1: who gives you the news, as long as you get
- 49:43Speaker 1: the news. Now what I want you to do with this? Please?
- 49:45Speaker 1: Don't be giving the baby no white names and stuff
- 49:49Speaker 1: white names. I can't believe that you're so this is incredible, incredible.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, call me. I'm tending to give me that.
- 49:59Speaker 1: I'm I'm ready to go crazy. This is crazy. Okay, this,
- 50:03Speaker 1: this is this is no reason to be violent. Shirt.
- 50:06Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. This is already made to
- 50:08Speaker 1: be violent. You're worried about me about paying child support
- 50:11Speaker 1: and talking about your seed and your baby's daddy, and
- 50:15Speaker 1: oh man, this is this is bringing the best out
- 50:17Speaker 1: of me. I can promise you. Unbelievable. Man, Let me
- 50:22Speaker 1: let me ask you something. So do you think you
- 50:23Speaker 1: may need anger management? I mean, you're not gonna are
- 50:27Speaker 1: you gonna? You're not gonna You're not gonna beat my child,
- 50:30Speaker 1: are you? Oh? Man, do you know how to push
- 50:37Speaker 1: man's buttons? I can promise you, man, that's crazy. No,
- 50:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat nobody's baby. I don't want you being
- 50:44Speaker 1: violent to me and your wife's baby. Oh spend this
- 50:49Speaker 1: thing around? Huh man? Do you live? Man? This is this? Because?
- 50:55Speaker 1: Oh man, this is well. Here's what I'm gonna ask you.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Do you think you might want to be the godfather
- 51:01Speaker 1: to the child to my own kid? No? I guess
- 51:06Speaker 1: it wouldn't be my kid because it's me and your
- 51:09Speaker 1: wife's child. Don't you say that? You crazy? Don't you
- 51:13Speaker 1: say that even thinking about something like that. It's me
- 51:18Speaker 1: talk about something like that, but it's me and your
- 51:21Speaker 1: wife's child. So don't you even talk like that. You're crazy?
- 51:27Speaker 1: Tear a hole in your head. Don't you talk like that? Okay, okay,
- 51:30Speaker 1: you're gonna tell a hold and who hey, in your head?
- 51:32Speaker 1: You're crazy? See that. This is the kind of thing.
- 51:37Speaker 1: I don't want my child around, this child, this type
- 51:40Speaker 1: of talk, this type of violence to your wife. Folks
- 51:43Speaker 1: getting mad and want to kill everybody in the room?
- 51:45Speaker 1: What you'll kill? Who you mad at? Why do y'all
- 51:47Speaker 1: do that? This? Man? Can I can? I? Can I
- 51:52Speaker 1: say one more thing? Do you can I do that?

- 55:23Speaker 1: twenty people earlier this morning they said had been killed.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Now fifty people and that's at least fifty people killed
- 55:29Speaker 1: in that mass shooting overnight on the Las Vegas Strip.
- 55:32Speaker 1: It took place at about ten pm Sunday night, Nevada time, okay,
- 55:37Speaker 1: but it was like one am New York time. It
- 55:39Speaker 1: depends where you are. But in Vegas it was around
- 55:41Speaker 1: ten pm. At least fifty people killed in that mass
- 55:44Speaker 1: shooting overnight on the Vegas Strip, the deadliest in modern
- 55:48Speaker 1: US history. The hail storm of bullets and the subsequent
- 55:51Speaker 1: stampede leaving more than two hundred people injured. The crowd
- 55:55Speaker 1: was watching a concert country music Stupid Stars right now.
- 55:59Speaker 1: It was like Jake Owen, he was playing and then
- 56:01Speaker 1: you hear the tat tat tat. Listen to that that's
- 56:05Speaker 1: when the shooting starts. A lot of people are not
- 56:07Speaker 1: aware what was going on. Did you hear the shooting?
- 56:11Speaker 1: He's still playing, then he stops because he knows something's
- 56:14Speaker 1: going on, and the people start screaming because people are
- 56:17Speaker 1: getting hit, people are dying. The gunmen is now identified
- 56:20Speaker 1: as sixty four year old Stephen Paddock. He was firing
- 56:23Speaker 1: from the set thirty second floor the nearby Mandalaid Bay Hotel.
- 56:26Speaker 1: This was in a park or in an area right
- 56:29Speaker 1: across the street from the park from the Mandalaid Bay Hotel,
- 56:32Speaker 1: and someone from the balcony was shooting uh. The officers
- 56:35Speaker 1: there say that Paddock was eventually killed by the police.
- 56:38Speaker 1: The sheriff also says authorities think they found Mary Lou
- 56:41Speaker 1: Danner and that Danley that was the woman they were
- 56:43Speaker 1: looking for. He was believed she was believed to be
- 56:45Speaker 1: traveling with the shooter Stephen Paddock, and or at least
- 56:49Speaker 1: a roommate. They wanted to talk to her because they
- 56:51Speaker 1: wanted to find out who he was. Of course, at
- 56:53Speaker 1: that point they also wanted to find out why he
- 56:55Speaker 1: did all of this, what he was doing there. The
- 56:57Speaker 1: master again started around ten pm Sun Day Nevada time

- 57:17Speaker 1: duty officers attending the concerts who may have died the addendities,
- 57:20Speaker 1: though those officers have not been released yet. The governor
- 57:22Speaker 1: of Nevada, Governor Brian Sandoval says on Twitter that quote
- 57:26Speaker 1: tragic and heinous act of violence has shaken the Nevada family,
- 57:30Speaker 1: offering prayers to all those affected by this act of cowardice.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Country mus and Jason al Dean posted a statement on
- 57:36Speaker 1: Instagram saying that he and his crew were safe and
- 57:39Speaker 1: that quote, my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone
- 57:42Speaker 1: involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen
- 57:45Speaker 1: to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what
- 57:48Speaker 1: should have been a fun night. And the hashtag is heartbroken,
- 57:51Speaker 1: Stop the hate, he said, We just ran for our
- 57:55Speaker 1: lives again, just to repeat. The number has been upped
- 57:58Speaker 1: about the dead as as a result of a mass
- 58:01Speaker 1: shooting in Las Vegas overnight. Fifty dead. Fifty dead and
- 58:04Speaker 1: that's at least fifty dead. At least two people have
- 58:07Speaker 1: been injured. In ne Vegas. Was a concert on the
- 58:09Speaker 1: Vegas Strip. Someone from the Mandalaid Bay Hotel across the
- 58:13Speaker 1: street started shooting. He has identified as sixty four year
- 58:16Speaker 1: old Stephen Paddock. Police have killed him. They were looking
- 58:20Speaker 1: for his roommate or travel partner, a woman named Mary
- 58:23Speaker 1: Lou Danley. They have her uh in custody. At least
- 58:26Speaker 1: they are talking to her. She's not necessarily a suspect
- 58:30Speaker 1: in the shooting, but they certainly want to know about
- 58:33Speaker 1: Paddock and what he was doing and why he was
- 58:35Speaker 1: doing what he did. Several police officers also killed in
- 58:38Speaker 1: the ferry. Nevada Governor Brian Santoval saying quota tragic and
- 58:42Speaker 1: heinous act of violence shaken the Nevada family, calling it
- 58:45Speaker 1: a cowardice act. Country musician James Jason al Dean has
- 58:49Speaker 1: posted a statement saying, my thoughts and prayers go out
- 58:52Speaker 1: to everyone involved. Hurts my heart that this would happen
- 58:55Speaker 1: to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what
- 58:58Speaker 1: should have been a fun night. Was absolutely horrible. We
- 59:02Speaker 1: have a hashtag here, hashtag heartbroken, hashtag stop the hate again.
- 59:07Speaker 1: They're gonna be talking later on, of course, and probably
- 59:09Speaker 1: most of the rest of the day to marry Lou Danley,
- 59:12Speaker 1: trying to find out about this guy, what his motives were,
- 59:15Speaker 1: if he was involved with other groups, if this was
- 59:18Speaker 1: a part of some sort of terrorist group or terrorists
- 59:21Speaker 1: cell that he may have been involved with. They're going
- 59:23Speaker 1: to try to find that out, of course, by talking
- 59:25Speaker 1: to her, who he hung out with, who came to
- 59:28Speaker 1: visit them, and all that kind of stuff, because she
- 59:30Speaker 1: was his roommates. So we're gonna be taking keeping track
- 59:33Speaker 1: of this old Morning's Please stay with us for the
- 59:35Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. And this is a trip on
- 59:38Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hold on tight, We got
- 59:40Speaker 1: it for all you here. It is the Strawberry Letter
- 59:42Speaker 1: subject the Internet blues. Good morning, Steve and the crew.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Straight to the issue, Steve. I have been living with
- 59:50Speaker 1: this man, whom I referred to as Mr. Our problem
- 59:54Speaker 1: is he's into the Internet and thinks that it is harmless.
- 59:59Speaker 1: I find it to be harmful. Recently, I found out
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: that he has sent some new pictures of me to
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: a few different men that he claims are off of
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Nude Africa. It's a nude website any who. I feel
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: very disrespected. He has made me feel less than a woman.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: I'm not into this internet thing and he is the
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: very first and only man that I have ever allowed
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: to take new pictures of me. And he promised that
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: he would never disrespect me like that. He has not
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: sent Nude Africa Crazy. He has not sent once but
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: three times. I have tried time after time to let
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: him know that this has pushed me to the edge,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: not to mention that while he goes online, he posts
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: profiles of himself and states that he is single and looking.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: He gives out a cell number and email addressed so
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: that these internet freaks can contact him when he is
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: not online, and yet he still insists that this is
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: harmless and that it doesn't mean anything. It does because
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I can't get any of his time now due to
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: the fact that he is always online and lies about
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: it or tries to get off when I come into
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: the room. This man knows that I don't play, and
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what he does, I always find out.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I love him and wanted to work, but I'm very
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: sick of drama? Will you please tell him from a
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: real man's point of view the effect and heartache the
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: internet can bring to a relationship. I know he's listening.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: He's a very loyal fan to your radio show. I
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: wish I could talk to you and fill you in
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: on some more of this drama so that we can
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: both hear what you have to say. Sweetie, I know
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: you would get a thrill out of it, But until then,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: help me get a point across to him before I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: catch a case, all right? Ps? Also, do you think
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: that I am overreacting when it's my body? And by
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the way, no he didn't show my face, just everything
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: below the neck. But still, I know it's me. I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: know it's me. Also, I found out when um he
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: sent the email to this other guy somehow it was
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: sent to my email too, and he claims it was
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: a mistake. Yeah right, Wow, Nude Africa. Never heard of it.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Nude Africa. You're you're looking it up right now, aren't you. Uh?
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: You know what, girl, You may love him, like you
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: say in the letter, but he certainly does not love you.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: He does not respect you. No man who loves and
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: respects a woman would would do something so despicable to her.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: You know, I don't care that he didn't show your face.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: It matters not to me. Uh, this man doesn't care
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: anything for your feelings because you have asked him to stop.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: You have told them, told him how he makes this
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: makes you feel, you know, him giving a cell number
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: out and posting that he's single and looking what you know.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: This man is no good for you. He's no good
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you know. Let him go on and be a Nude
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Africa with the freaks and you need to get a
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: real man who cares about you and loves you. Twelve
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: after we'll come back with the code Cracker. This is
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: crazy Nude Africa you're listening to, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: let's get to part two of today's Strawberry Letter, The
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: Internet Blues. Good morning, Steve and the crew. Straight to
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: the issue. Steve, I've been living with this man, whom
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I referred to as Mr. Our problem is he's into
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: the Internet and thinks that it's harmless, and I find
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: it to be harmful. The reason I found out that
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: he has sent some nude pictures of me to a
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: few different men that he claims are off of nude Africa,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: it's a nude website any who. I feel very disrespected.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: He's made me feel less than a woman. I'm not
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: into this internet thing. And he's very first and only
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: man that I've ever allowed to take new pictures of me,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and he promised that he would never disrespect me like that.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: He has not sent once but three times. I've tried
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: time and time to let him know that this has
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: pushed me to the edge, not to mention that while
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: he goes online, he post profiles of himself and states
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: that he's singling looking. He gives out his sale number
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: in the email address so that these internet freaks can
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: contact him when he's not online. And yet he's still
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: insists that this is harmless and that it doesn't mean anything.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: It does because I can't get any of his time
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: now due to the fact that he's always online and
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: he lies about it or he tries to get off
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: when I come into the room. This man knows that
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I don't play, that I don't play, and it doesn't
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: matter what he does, I always find out. I love
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: him and I wanted to work, but I'm very sick
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: of drama. Will you please tell him from a real
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: man's point of view the effect and heart and heart
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: ache the internet can bring to a relationship. I know
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: he's listening. He's a very lower fan of your radio show.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I wish I could talk to you and fill you
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: in on some more of this drama so we can
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: both hear what you have to say, Sweetie. I know
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: you will get a thrill out of it, but until then,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: help me get a point across to him before I
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: catch a case. Ps. Also, do you think that I'm
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: overreacting when it's my body? And by the way, he
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: didn't show my face, just everything below the neck. But
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: still I know it's me. Also, I found out when
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: he sent the email to this other guy somehow I
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: was sent to my email too, and he claims it
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: was a mistake. Yeah right, yeah, I don't. I don't
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: even know there to begin what you want me to say,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Africa though, Let's start, Yeah, let's let's start right here.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: M hm. Your man insists that this is harmless and
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: that it doesn't mean anything. See when a man makes
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: this statement to you, lady, it doesn't mean anything. All
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: your next response has to be is if it don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: mean anything, what you're doing it? Mm hmm, that's all.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Men don't do anything, and that don't mean nothing. We're
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: very purpose driven people. He's on Nude Africa because he
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: likes Nude Africa because this website does something for him.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Now what that is, I don't know, But let's just
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: take a guess. Me and you, lady, since you wrote it,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: let's just say what is it that he could be
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: getting out of this website? Uh? Simon Necked Girls is
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: on now now, his yo, crazy Paul. He's giving them
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: his sale number and his personal email address. Now, what
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: do you think is happening with these when they call him?
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: And what do you think is happening when they email
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: each other? What do you think has happen? You don't
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: think nuns happen? His people who are willing to put
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: theirselves on an Internet net kit and exchange numbers and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: personal information so they can contact each other to do
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: what they already got the naked picture. See, I'm just
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: a regular guy. But let me put it to you
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: this way. After we get naked, I personally can only
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: thank a one most step after that, I mean, I
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: mean we neck it where the cards is too late.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: We've already played trip poker. That's how I got your naked. No,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I won the game. That's why we nack it. Maybe
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: we could talk. We was talking with our clothes on.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: See see see once we get naked, all the talking
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: over with all the cards playing in domino shuffling is done.
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: See we nack it. Now let me ask you to
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: come on tom to say it again. Time to groan
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: and see. That's all that s left. It's grown in time.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: When people get naked, ain't nothing left to do. It's said,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: work it out. I was sweating up in him. You know.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: It's lamps and stuff get started getting kicked off. Nice thing,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: you know, that's when you find out the bed make noise. Yeah,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: all that stuff started, never get starting, and fitted sheets
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: up off the corner. You know a lot of stuff.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: You've had your finger nails go across the sheeting, sparks
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: be flying and stuff. I'm just asking what did you
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: normally do when you get naked? That's what your man
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: is doing up, lady. He naked at the next level,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: this man that you've been living with. You've been living
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: with this man when y'all get naked, what do you
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: and him do? So, lady, what do you want us
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: to tell you about your man, and why have to
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: tell this to your man? No, no, I disagree. It's
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: how man? But how man doing this freaky mask? Alright,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: he steals your man. See. The only way for you
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: to stop this is issue an all Tomato man respond
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: to Aul Tomato, it's the internet? Or is me all right? Steve?
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: You know we gotta go. You can email us or
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: instagram us your thoughts on today's strawberry letter at my girls,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Shirley and switching gears. We talked about it earlier. Players
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: and teams throughout the NFL continued to protest during the
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: national anthem before games. In Week four, some of the
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: players took a knee, but most of them stood in unison.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch made his statement wearing
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: a T shirt that read everybody versus Trump before the game.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I think that they've they've gotten it right, you know,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: I'm I think the protest is a standing. I think man,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: the protests is necessary. Uh for the prayers players to
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: steal kneeling, I get it, I get it, I get it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Here is the part that you know I've been noticing
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: Donald Trump in his criticism of the NFL players and
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: angering them so which he has no problem doing it.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: He just goes about it. He's caused a lot of Americans,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: especially in his base and others. They've changed the narrative
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: of the protests, and they've spun it so now that
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: the protest is against the flag and the military, that
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: they've changed the narrative. They've so wrongly done that to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: make it against the flag and the military, which is
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: not what those brothers are saying. The NFL continue to
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: protest during the national anthem before games. In Week four,
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: some of the players took a knee, but most of
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: them stood in unison. Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: made his statement wearing a T shirt that read, everybody
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: versus Trump. You're listening to Steve alright, Steve, now what
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: just say it and then we have to move on
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: because I don't want you to be in trouble with no.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: No no no no no no no no no no
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: no no. My wife, Marjorie don't know if she thought
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: somebody own like she first of all would make sure
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: they didn't come over. But they got in, you know,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: through a party for my wife and this person came
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: to the party that you didn't like. I I didn't
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: notice it because you know, I had, you know, my
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: guest list be pretty strict. But he came with somebody.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: And I don't really do plus one. I gotta know
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: who you are the only one to do that. As
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: my kids, I'm damn kids, stupid people over the house
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: taking pictures of everything. Neither. But I look up, man,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I see this dude, And I said, how that. So
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: I go and I called security from the front desk,
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: people at the door, people at the gate, and I go, yo, yo, yo, man,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: did you checkerlist? Where is his name? Mat right here?
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I said, we saw it, Mr Harv. He came in
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: with so and so I said, but I told you,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: just no plus one. Sorry, it was it was so insul.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: It was so insul. I don't give a damn who
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: it is. So I said, I'll tell you what I said.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: Go over there, just get his coat and hand it
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: to him and just walking to the door. Oh, no problem,
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: it's hard, no problem. I'm so sorry because I'm gonna
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: get you out because you can't stay in my house.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: I don't care for you. And so they went over there,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: and I'm watching the whole thing go out. So then
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: he said, oh no, no, no, no, no, I'm here
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: with so and so. So. The guards said, sir, you've
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: been asked to leave. No, I'm only gonna ask you
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: one time and then we're gonna we're gonna have to
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: remove you. Cost the security. They not know, chumps, you're
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: talking about the security. I saw that you got and
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: I just say, that was the meanest thing you've ever
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: done to me. Really it was you. It me. We're
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: talking about like yeah, like, I'm like, I'm not sitting
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: here the story right here, though, I don't want you
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: to know. I took two coats how about that? But anyway,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: they got him out of them out. Oh boy, all right,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: all right, here we go with mean things I like
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: to do. Come on, Jake's this is just me. This
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: is me. This is not anybody else, This is nothing.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: But I like to do this because I don't know,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: this is not you, doesn't even represent you about me.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I like, these are the mean things I love. I
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: love to go to the store and whether they have
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: the potato chips and just mash the bags and so
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: when when you chips and just little flakes in that
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: that was meg Man when you over that man, but
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: you hit about three in the back three day. Oh oh,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: this is so much fun right here, anybody's been a
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: cracker bown in the back. They have that big checkerboard
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: thing where you play people. When the kids come back there, Steve,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I where they asked out. I don't take nothing light
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: on them. I act like I can't play. I want
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: to play some check and I go in on the minute,
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: round round minute. Oh that's right here, right, so much fun.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: Go to the movies, right and yell at the ending. Yeah,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the grab dies. Yeah, I just sick down. She gonna die.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: He's dying about forty five minutes. Tell me dead. Hold
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: that's right here, that's right here. So what's this is
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: so much fun? You gotta wait till you see an
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: outside wedding. Wedding outside, everybody's outside on the line. Yeah,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: oh that's what you do. You go. You gotta get
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: a megaphone with us. You gotta get me a little
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: right me later, I get in the car man right now,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: so much fun. Oh you know what when people stop
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: me and ask me for diretchtions, here's what you say.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Take a left, Take a left and then take another left.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Now that means they're gonna sense on the block. Oh
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: my god, I forgot. I forgot. I meant to tell
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: you to take a right, take a right, and take
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: another right. Right now. You need to be gone by
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: the time to come back the second because they don't
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: figure this out. Oh that's right here. I gotta go
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: pop a baby's balloon. Oh my god, that's standing. That
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: just all that so much fun? You know what that like?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Do what? I'm still doing it. I love to go
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: to the pet store with the dogs. You want to go?
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: I know you, I know you want to go, but
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: we go. Steve, our friend and family member, the one
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: and only Emmy Award winning journalists and Gordon on the
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: phone with us. You know, uh, we're about to interview
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: one of the top guys in the game. Man been
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: friends of ours for a long time, one of the
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: great journalists man, one of those most thoughtful guys to
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: out that too, very involved, very knowledgeable ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Ed Gordon. He has a new show on Bounce, A
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: brand new show on Bounce. It asks tonight October sewod
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: at ten pm Eastern on Bounce and we gonna find
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: out all about ladies and gentlemen. Ed Gordon, what's up
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: with you man? How you feeling? He is? The show
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: just entitled Ed Gordon, that's it? And you know, when
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I walked into Banks, they said that that's what they
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: wanted to call it. I said, that's it. They said
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: that's it. I said, well let's go with it. So
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: that's it. You know, Hell, they don't need a messing around.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Then't need what they're gonna call it today plus this afternoon.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Hell now they saying we need some identity. We're gonna
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: call it and going. So, hey, this is a big
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: show for you tonight, man, tell us about it. It's
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: a big show for Steve. And this is the fourth
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: and Storm. It's quarterly specialist of news magazine, kind of
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: like a sixty minutes format. But this go around we
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: did profiles of people. We did a profile of a
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: brother who's got a fantastic voice, once in the generation,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: great reporter. Many people know him from that Doe he
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: did with Kim holding On And if you don't know
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: about this brother, you need to know about him. That
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: extraordinary voice we sit down. Let's say, oh, I just
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: tell Steve he would love Oh yeah, yeah, you don't
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: know about him. You've got to check this boy out.
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: He is bad. He is bad. We sit down with
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Yard that's a teenager from Blackish and she is extraordinary.
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: I mean she just got accepted in uh into Harvard. Uh.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: He is just one of those gyms that we don't
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: see enough of. You know, everybody talks about millennials, Generations
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: Z or whatever they're calling him now, but this girl
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: is extraordinary. We also sit down with Massi and Waters.
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: We did a profile with her where I traveled to
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: d C and to l A, which is you know,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: her stopping grounds. And I'm gonna tell you, uh it's
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: it's one of those that she just tells the truth
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: about Trump. And you got to see this. I mean,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: you know, all this Auntie Maxine and reclaim my time,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: but she's so much more than that. Uh. And she's
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: extraordinary and sleep and I was really pleased. Everybody knows
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Steve of our friendship. It goes back almost years now,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: but you and I sat down together, and what I
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: appreciate is that you were very candid. You dealt with
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: all of the things that people have been talking about,
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: the ups and downs, the kind of hurdles you've been
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: leaping over for the last two years. And I think
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: it was a great opportunity for you to tell your
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: side of the story and get some of this off
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: your chest. And so I was just so happy that
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you sat with me and you were so very open
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: about everything. What do you because we did this over
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: a period of time, what what was some of the
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: subjects that you and I covered? Well, we really covered everything.
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: I mean, we went from the flint comment that you
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: made on the show. We obviously talked about the situation
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: that you had in meeting with Donald Trump. We talked
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: about the memo or the email that you put out
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: the staff now that were and I tell you what
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: else we talk about And people don't realize. And Steve
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: made a great uh uh point here. You know, famous
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: is not always fun. People assume who aren'tous, Oh man,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: if only I was famous, if I only I was rich.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: And I've been telling people for a long time. When
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: you reach the levels that Steve has reached, that comes
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: with a whole load of responsibilities and scrutiny that you
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: don't have even when you're just what I call black famous.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: You know, when you're famous with us, it's one kind
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: of scrutiny, right, But when you start to become famous
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: in a bigger arena, it's a whole other set of
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: scrutinies that you have to deal with. So I just
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: appreciate that. Uh, Steve didn't shy away from anything. He
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: didn't ask as a friend and he don't deal with this.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: He said, let's deal with this, and so that's what
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: we did. Yeah, you know, it was important for me
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: because I don't do interviews about a lot of things
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: because I just don't want to leand gasoline to a
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: fire that's already lived. So how people approached me about
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: the memo, how they really asked me about the Flint
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Water comment, how they asked me about visit to Trump,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: what they really said about the memo. Oftentimes I don't
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: say what I really think. But and knowing Ed, I
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: guess because we've been friends so long, I probably opened
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: up quite a bit. And I'm sure I did, and uh,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you know, I haven't seen it, so but you know, man,
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I got I got some stuff off my chest too,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: because you know, I hold a lot in and like
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: Ed was saying, you know, being famous, man, it's very difficult.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: And I you know, people don't understand what it's like, man,
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: to have the pressure coming on you from especially from
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: my own community. You you don't know how I really
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: feel about black folks, y'all. Y'all, man, don't. You can't
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: even begin to understand the level of commitment and and
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: the love that I have for black folks. Now, having
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: said that, I have also become general market and now
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: I become famous to a lot of other folks too,
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: say I used to just be black famous, O b T.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: You know I was that that was it that my
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: life has changed. I've not always been best prepared for
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: the changes that have happened to me. I don't. I don't.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: There's no school for this and transparency. And so even
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: the visit to see Trump, how I feel about it,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: really feel about it, and how I got twisted and
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: turned on me, But you know, we we dealt with out.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: So I think tonight I'm gonna watch it and I
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: very rarely watch anything, but tonight at ten pm on
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Bounce TV, I will be watching that. And if you
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: want to add, if you if you get it to me,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: after it comes on. You know, let me know because
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: I posted I think as a oh absolutely absolutely, we're
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: gonna get it to you. And I want everybody to
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: know this though, you know, and Carla and I were
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: just a circle of sisters over the weekend we saw
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: one another and yeah, and hang on, man, we're gonna
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: bring you right back. Hang on, hang on, We'll be
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: right back more with Ed Gordon. You're listening to Steve Harvey.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: All right, we're back with Ed Gordon, journalist extraordinary, Uh,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: talking about the brand new interview with you Steve Harvey
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: and how you opened up with his um on his
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: show on Bounce. So you were saying it, yeah, I
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: just I didn't want people to miss this point. And
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: I think it's important Steve touched on it. But I
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: was just with carl. I was saying a circle of
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: sisters in New York and during the town hall meeting,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: I was talking about the show because we were talking
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: about Maxine Waters and what she talks about it. And
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I'm telling you, Maxine is on fire during this inn
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: last her did she disappointed Blake st Trump a racist?
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: And she said initially she did not, but she absolutely
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: does now and she gets into some of the reasons
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: and and she's she's really really upfront about it. But
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: what I want people to look at. And when I
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: was talking to the people a circle of sisters, there
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: were some people who were really disappointed in some of
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: the things that Steve has had to deal with in
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: terms of you know, the faux pause and some of it.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: Quite frankly, I believe and I say this, I've said
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: it to him privately. I'll say it now. Some of
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: it his own doing. I think there were may be
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: better ways of doing certain things. But what he didn't
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: get is benefit of the doubt. And he opens up
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: about that and talks about that in a way that
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: I think even people who may have felt like I
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: didn't like it, after they see this, I'll be interested
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: to see what they think, because you can see his
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: want to do for us. And I don't say this.
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: I know some people are gonna say, Ah, that's your boy.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You're just saying this, But everybody knows I've not built
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: my career that way. And I don't shy away no
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: matter who you are, about certain questions, and and we
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: lay it out on the line. Steve talks about even
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: most recently the things that have been in the gossip magazines.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: But I want people to see the emotion that he
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: brings to the answer when he talks about how he
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: felt when black people didn't give him that benefit of
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: the doubt. I want people to see that it was
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: one of the I'm gonna tell you man, and that
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: that was one of the most hurtful things for me
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: and for black people, because they turned on me so cold, man,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: They turned on me so cold, and I went, damn
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: really man me And the spin that really hurt me
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: was a lot of I got if you don't know,
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I got there, but if you know me though, and
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: you spin on me because it was the trending thing
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: to say because everybody else was. And I said, it
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: wasn't not just on Twitter or it was to your face.
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: People would stop you and say mean things. But I
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: think it's a testament to add and his professionalism and
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: and everything that allowed you to trust him Steve to
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: go ahead and beat that transparent and open up. He
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: was very honest with he said, Steve, I thought you
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: could have handled a couple of things differently, and you
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: know what, and talking to Ed about it, Yeah, and
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: the hindsight I wish I had done something so different.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: I'll tell you one thing I wish. I wish I
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: never had took my ass back out there when I
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: said the wrong name on that day I'm Universe. I
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: wish I hadn't took my ass out there trying to
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: be courageous and do the damn right thing. Took my
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: ass back out there because I said, no, man, if
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: it's on me, let me go out there, full well
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: knowing it wasn't really on, because I read the telepump
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: two minutes later, all hell broken? What dude, that was
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: in your ear? Where is he? Damn director? Alright? Ed?
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: You know, we thank you, We love you as always.
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: We'll be watching Gordon tonight October two, ten pm on
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Bounce Everybody. Probably one of the best interviews I've done
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: about some of my life. We're gonna get some of
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: the clips from the show in a couple of days
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: play some of these answers back. Let y'all see what
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: I said. Oh, thank you, I appreciate your boy. Thank you.
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: You're listening to St. Puerto Ricans and Hollywood celebrities like
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Ellen Degenerous, like Kem Kardashi and Rosie Perez Lady Gaga,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: John Legend, and the list goes on slam Donald Trump
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: over the Puerto Rico and student over the hurricane. On Saturday,
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: President Trump tweeted that leaders of Puerto Rico want everything
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: to be done for them when it should be a
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: community effort. Trump seemed to be responding to, Yeah, I can't,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: I cannot believe he did this, and he called the
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: mayor of San Juan a poor leader. I mean, he
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: cut into her. You know, it was horrible. She was
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: she was begging, said people are dying. People are dying here.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: That's exactly what made Yeah. She said, if anyone can
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: hear us, Mr Trump can hear us. Let's get it
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: over with and get the ball rolling. Some Puerto Ricans
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: feel like Trump is blaming the actual victims uh two
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: back to back hurricanes, but he didn't blame Texas or
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: Florida residents for Hurricane Irma uh and Hurricane Harvey. As
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Puerto Ricans begged for help. Trump attendant, Yeah, you know,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: he was at the golf tournament, the President's golf tournament
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: over the weekend, becoming a first sitting president. Yeah, and
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: he blamed it on the She's a poor leader. Yeah.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: She he said she was a poor leader. He blamed
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: it on the Democrats, saying they told her to be
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: nasty to him, and she said, that's not it, she said,
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: I don't. I'm not even really a Democrat. She said,
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: I can identify with some of their values, but I'm
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: not a Democrat. So it was just a mess. I mean,
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: we still surprised when Trump surprises us. Yeah, I mean,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: but you know of surprise. Yeah, I gotta admit, man,
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: i'd be I'd be stunned, yes, because so unapologized for anything.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: But you know, man, the levels of it. Yeah, it's
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: what throws you. I mean, you can't even for a moment,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: do you understand what Puerto Rico is really happening over there? No,
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: because you won't go over there. You're supposed to go
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: over there tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow, he's going. He said that
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: last week. But man, after you say that, not not
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: when you get over there and you see it. Now,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: how you gonna slant this? They say that Puerto Rico
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: surrounded by big water. It's a big ocean, big big water,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: really really big ocean. Really really know that? Yeah, Yeah,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: that's why they're in the situation that they're in right now.
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: But I didn't understand. He said now that they should well.
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: He said that, you know, he called her a poor leader.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: He said that, um uh that you know, it should
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: should be doing what well, that it should be a
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: community effort. He said that, um, they want everything to
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: be done for them and that it should be a
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: community effort. They have nothing to help themselves with. There
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: are no communities and is gone. Listen to me. The
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: banking system is down because of electricity. They can't even
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: get money. Then they stand in line for hours at
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: grocery stores and the shelves are empty. There is no
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: gasoline power for there's no power and no medicine getting
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: to these all of that and bringing up the outstanding
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: debt that Puerto Rico. Why would yea from people who
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: really need Yeah, he does realize now that Puerto Rico
- 1:32:09Speaker 1: is part but he realizes that now though does not.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Puerto Rico is yeah territory. Yeah, if you want to
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: talk about how much North Korea or you, then we'll
- 1:32:20Speaker 1: be listening to that. If they owe you anything but
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: what you cannot do. Man, I didn't know that. But
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: you know, when I hear that, I'm surprised. That's first
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: I've heard of it. He keeps surprisingly at the level.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: So you got over the weekend, and so did the President.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: All Right, we gotta go to break. We'll be back.
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Show. All right, here
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: we go with just one more thing. And you guys
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: know that the Carolina Panthers are riding high after yesterday's
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: big win against the New England Patriots. Plus, the Charlotte
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: Observer is reporting that the Carolina Panthers, Jay, I see
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: that smile on your face. The coach Ron. Rivera is
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: donating fifty thousand dollars. That's right, I said, fifty thousand
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: dollars to the hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico. President
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: Donald Trump, Rivera's father. Rivera's father is from Puerto Rico,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: and he said all his family members on the island
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: have been accounted for in the wake of the storm. Okay,
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: thank you, thank you. Hey. I want to say something, um,
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: I want to give an apology or really sincere apology
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: UH to Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. UH. Normally,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: when people apologize or they do a retraction, they put
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: a little blurb in the paper. But I'm I'm I'm
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: not that way. Look if I make a mistake and
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: I made it on the radio, what I'm not gonna
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: do is put in a personal text or tweet an
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: apology something. But I, oh, Minister Louis Farrakhan and the
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: brothers and sisters in the Nation of Islam, UH an
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: apology for misspeaking the other day about a YouTube clip
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: that's out with Minister Farrakhan on it. UH making a
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: certain statement. UH obviously misspoke. I misinterpreted what he said.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: I offered him my homeless apologies. Minister Lewis Farrakhan has
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: been nothing but kind to me. He has been nothing
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: but encouraging to me. We have known each other for years.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: This man has reached out to me and encouraged me
- 1:34:38Speaker 1: in moments when people were turning their back on me.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: So I have nothing but the highest lover of love
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: and respect for him, period and the brothers and sisters
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: in the Nation of Islam that I have friendships with.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: Y'all know my heart it was not my intent to
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: be disrespectful in any way. So my humblest apologies goes
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: out to honorable Minister Lewis Fara Khan and the Nation
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: of Islam and all the brothers and sisters that that
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: was not my intent. I misinterpreted it obviously, and that
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: was not my intent in in any way. So I'm
- 1:35:13Speaker 1: apologizing on the air. I want you all know, uh,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: my heart, that I got love for y'all, brothers and
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: sisters over there, always have. We've done so many great
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: things together with feed my flock out in the l A,
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: with the with the with the peace initiatives, with gang bangers.
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: Minister Tony Mohammed, his son, I've known him for years.
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: I just meant no disrespect in any way. So I
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: just wanted to say that publicly, man, because you know,
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: he's been nothing but encouraging to me. So the brothers
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: and sisters over there, I got mad love for y'all,
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: always have, and the highest level of love and respect
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: for him. So no disrespect intended at all. Please forgive me,
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: all right, appreciate that, but huh, but don't do it, no, Mom,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I don't even know what Dona or whatever you're doing,
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: you know it. I'm trying, like, hey, we're all a
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: work in progress, you know, we make mistakes. Trying to
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: get it right among us is perfect. You know, I
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: wish I would, but then they're still a file on
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: your course. They've done Jesus and I close. I ain't
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: even in the ball Jesus, yeah, I ain't even alright,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: So what have we learned today? Let's see, Yeah, Jesus lose. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: these are things we learned. Watch you D Gordon tonight
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: and C Steve open up some more some Yeah, like
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: white women, we've learned that. That's nothing new. We've already
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: known that. You think your president is going to Puerto
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: Rico tomorrow? Oh yeah, tomorrow, Yeah, definitely. We'll be watching
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: going welcome committee when he land over the hell yeah,
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: what's americanna do when he comes? Mayor Cruz? Nobody out
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: here looking for me, junior. I'm in New York this
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: past weekend. Let me take the community. It was very
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: upset Puerto Ricans, A lot of folks from the island.
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: We're not trying to hear it. It ain't nothing to hear.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: Help telling you, Steve help, you gotta send help right now.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: You gotta stop all this politics in a bit talking
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: about they blaming it. They should be a community effort.
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: What are you talking about Viti say over that doing
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: everything they can. Man, Hey, you know what, man, this
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: was about. This was against mother nature. This rough man.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: I just don't get why he would say that. I
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: just don't get it. But anyway, we'll be watching tomorrow
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: when he um, when he goes to Puerto Rico, when
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: he lands, when he gets on the plane, when he
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: gets off the plane, all of that report on the crowdside. Yeah,
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: it's just like the pans were saying, he didn't blame
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: the people in Texas, he didn't blame Florida. So how
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: are you blaming us electoral college vote? Yeah, they do
- 1:38:19Speaker 1: the math and don't forget Tonight guys, Monday night football,
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: the Redskins at the Kansas City Chiefs. Yeah, put your
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: money on the Chiefs. The red Skins had a good wine.
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: There is business really. Yeah, they're real good. They just
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: need the forty niners. How they did there? They did
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: their protests on Sunday. No, how they do The half
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: of them kneeled and in half of them stood behind them. Right. Yeah,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: that was the most striking form of protests I've seen.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: How they did it wo and again it's had against
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: our American flag or our national anthem. It's not against that.
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: I want Kaepernick to get a job. That's what I want.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: Too many quarterbacks that are really bad for him not
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: to be playing at them. You know we won't all Hill.
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: Why we won't all Hill? My Leef said, it takes
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: It's gonna take someone like the man who brought Jackie
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Robinson into the baseball league. Yeah, to hire Colin Kaepernick,
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: and we gotta go see. For all Steve Harvey contests,
