- 0:00Speaker 1: All right. So the question that many of you have
- 0:02Speaker 1: been asking me is what are we gonna get now
- 0:05Speaker 1: that US Speaker of the House is Kevin McCarthy, What
- 0:10Speaker 1: do we actually get out of this? Well, I can
- 0:12Speaker 1: tell you this. We're gonna get rid of the IRS agents.
- 0:17Speaker 1: That is a top priority. The IRS agents that we're
- 0:22Speaker 1: gonna be used to be weaponized against you, to attack you.
- 0:29Speaker 1: That is going to be the number one thing Republicans
- 0:32Speaker 1: now say they're gonna take care of and deal with.
- 0:36Speaker 1: They were on the left hoping, and many I think Republicans, honestly,
- 0:40Speaker 1: members of swamp are fine with it. They wanted a
- 0:44Speaker 1: IRS force that was weaponized. They wanted this, and the
- 0:47Speaker 1: reason why they want is because they believe that those
- 0:50Speaker 1: IRS agents could then keep you in check. Right after
- 0:57Speaker 1: the Speaker of the House was named, Kevin McCarthy said
- 1:01Speaker 1: this about the new business of the new Congress. I
- 1:06Speaker 1: know the night is late, but when we come back,
- 1:10Speaker 1: our very first build really peel the funding for eighty
- 1:14Speaker 1: seven thousand new You see, we believe government should be
- 1:33Speaker 1: to help you, not go after you. We're gonna we
- 1:38Speaker 1: believe the government's job should be to help you, not
- 1:41Speaker 1: go after you. Democrats look at it completely the opposite
- 1:45Speaker 1: way of that. Democrats wanted there to be massive, massive funding.
- 1:51Speaker 1: It would be used just they say, to audit the
- 1:54Speaker 1: most successful in this country. This was just a couple
- 1:58Speaker 1: of days before Kevin McCarthy became the Speaker of the
- 2:01Speaker 1: House and Representative Democrat Judy Qo said this about why
- 2:08Speaker 1: the irscated eighty billion dollars in new funding, Because if
- 2:12Speaker 1: you're successful in America, your public enemy number one is
- 2:17Speaker 1: that what you think could bring on behalf of lawmakers
- 2:20Speaker 1: and ability to make sure that wealthy people like mister
- 2:23Speaker 1: Trump pay more than seven hundred and fifty dollars in
- 2:27Speaker 1: taxes in a year when any legislation will be fought
- 2:31Speaker 1: by powerful lobbying groups and so many big donors to
- 2:34Speaker 1: both parties. Well, they are two issues here. One is
- 2:38Speaker 1: the presidency, and this whole presidential audit system is about
- 2:43Speaker 1: the presidency as much as it is about one president.
- 2:48Speaker 1: There should be a mandatory audit so that the American
- 2:52Speaker 1: public can have confidence in the president and the president's finances.
- 2:57Speaker 1: But there's also a bigger issue which has to do
- 3:00Speaker 1: with how the wealthy are treated in this country with
- 3:03Speaker 1: regard to tax audits. Over the last ten years, the
- 3:07Speaker 1: tax audits of ultrawealthy people have declined by seventy percent,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and those tax auditors who have specialization in this have
- 3:17Speaker 1: declined by thirty percent. And that has left those who
- 3:23Speaker 1: have the means to evade paying their fair share of
- 3:26Speaker 1: taxes free to do what they want. And so that
- 3:31Speaker 1: is why we, the Democrats in Congress, have put in
- 3:38Speaker 1: eighty billion dollars to the i RS to shore back
- 3:41Speaker 1: up these audits of the ultra wealthy so that they
- 3:46Speaker 1: can begin begin paying their fair share. Unfortunately, the opposite
- 3:51Speaker 1: has started to occur, where low income people are now
- 3:55Speaker 1: audited five times more than wealthy people. So that has
- 3:59Speaker 1: to be reversed. And by the way, this eighty billion
- 4:02Speaker 1: dollars would only be used to audit those who are
- 4:07Speaker 1: making more than four hundred thousand dollars a year, So
- 4:10Speaker 1: it would be the wealthy. Okay, there it is, it
- 4:12Speaker 1: would be the wealthy. We want eighty billion in i
- 4:15Speaker 1: RS funding would only be used to audit the wealthy.
- 4:18Speaker 1: We're going to attack those are the most successful in
- 4:20Speaker 1: this country. Now they say, well, see, just like Donald Trump.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Donald Trump didn't pay what he should have paid. Well,
- 4:27Speaker 1: if you have losses, you can carry those losses over it.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's what Donald Trump did, so did a whole bunch
- 4:33Speaker 1: of other Democrats. So did people like George Soros. But
- 4:35Speaker 1: you never hear them bring up their names. Right, They
- 4:39Speaker 1: have people that do this, and they look at the
- 4:41Speaker 1: tax code and they do everything they can to pay
- 4:43Speaker 1: the lowest amount of tax they can possibly pay. There's
- 4:46Speaker 1: nothing illegal about that either, and there's nothing wrong with it.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You shouldn't just pay more. Why on earth would you
- 4:52Speaker 1: pay more than what you are owed? Then what you
- 4:55Speaker 1: owe I should say. But you can hear it there
- 4:57Speaker 1: with a Democrats. You can hear this congress an on
- 5:00Speaker 1: national TV. You are the enemy of the state. If
- 5:03Speaker 1: you make a lot of money, you are the enemy
- 5:06Speaker 1: of the state. You are the enemy of the people.
- 5:09Speaker 1: If you make a lot of money, over four hundred
- 5:11Speaker 1: thousand dollars a couple, and we want to spend eighty
- 5:14Speaker 1: billion dollars just coming after you. Does that sound like
- 5:20Speaker 1: a fair system. No, that's a bias system. And that's
- 5:25Speaker 1: what the Democrats think of people that make and create
- 5:27Speaker 1: wealth in this country and create jobs. I've never met
- 5:31Speaker 1: a poor person that is employing a bunch of people.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I've met a lot of wealthy people. I've never heard
- 5:37Speaker 1: somebody say I want to go get a job from
- 5:39Speaker 1: someone that's poor. I've heard a lot of people say
- 5:41Speaker 1: I want to get a job from someone that's wealthy
- 5:43Speaker 1: so I can have job security, so I can be
- 5:45Speaker 1: in a job where they give me the tools I
- 5:47Speaker 1: need to grow so that I can make more money.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That I have heard about that's normal. But what you
- 5:58Speaker 1: just heard there from the Democrats is exactly why the
- 6:00Speaker 1: speaker fight was so important, so that we could actually
- 6:05Speaker 1: make sure that we get rid of this type of
- 6:09Speaker 1: treatment of people that are just being successful. Their only
- 6:14Speaker 1: crime is being successful, working hard, putting in eighty one
- 6:19Speaker 1: hundred hour weeks for years on end as they build
- 6:21Speaker 1: a small business into something that's big. You look at
- 6:24Speaker 1: almost every company in this country that has achieved great things,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and what do you find behind it? You usually find
- 6:31Speaker 1: a small business owner. You usually find somebody like a
- 6:36Speaker 1: Bezo or Gates, whoever it may be, Bill Gates doesn't matter.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And what do you find elon musk People that have
- 6:45Speaker 1: an insane work ethic where they're putting in eighty ninety
- 6:48Speaker 1: hour weeks week after week after week, with an idea
- 6:53Speaker 1: and when it works, now we want to treat them
- 6:55Speaker 1: like they're an enemy of the state. Well, not we,
- 6:58Speaker 1: the Democrats do, and they're on record to say it.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Representive Jim Jordan said on Fox News Sunday, we've got
- 7:04Speaker 1: a thirty two trillion dollars debt. Everything has to be
- 7:06Speaker 1: on the table, referring to what do we do next
- 7:09Speaker 1: when it comes to finances in this country. Part of
- 7:12Speaker 1: the concern of the Rules package is that Conservatives push
- 7:15Speaker 1: for a lot of things that are aimed at reigning
- 7:17Speaker 1: and government spending, capping spending, and part of that goes
- 7:20Speaker 1: to potentially defense spending. So the Wall Street Journal editorial
- 7:23Speaker 1: board says this the price for Speaker McCarthy. It says
- 7:26Speaker 1: the pressure for defense cuts will be great. That's a
- 7:29Speaker 1: terrible signal to send adversarius who are increasingly belligerent. But
- 7:34Speaker 1: is that now the message that the Speaker the GOP
- 7:36Speaker 1: is sending that defense spending at a time you mentioned
- 7:39Speaker 1: our military is struggling could potentially be on the chopping
- 7:42Speaker 1: block because of this deal that was made. Well, Shannon,
- 7:46Speaker 1: we got a thirty two trillion dollars debt. Everything has
- 7:50Speaker 1: to be on the table. We're on pace to spend
- 7:52Speaker 1: five hundred six hundred billion dollars in debt payments and
- 7:56Speaker 1: just to deal with interest payments on servicing debt. Everything
- 8:01Speaker 1: has to be on the table. And frankly, maybe if
- 8:03Speaker 1: we would focus our military spending on the soldiers and
- 8:06Speaker 1: not having so many general The ratio of general officers
- 8:09Speaker 1: to enlisted individuals now is so out of whack from
- 8:11Speaker 1: where it used to be in our military. Maybe if
- 8:13Speaker 1: we'd focus on that, helping the troops who do do
- 8:16Speaker 1: so much of the work out there for our great country,
- 8:18Speaker 1: and maybe focus on getting rid of all the woke
- 8:21Speaker 1: policies in our military, we'd have the money we need
- 8:23Speaker 1: to make sure our troops get the pay raise they deserve.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We have the weapon systems and the training that needs
- 8:28Speaker 1: to be done so we're ready to deal with our
- 8:30Speaker 1: adversaries around the planet. That's what we want to focus on. So,
- 8:33Speaker 1: but you got numbers like that, a thirty sum trillion
- 8:36Speaker 1: dollars debt and interest payments to service that debt where
- 8:39Speaker 1: they're head of this year, you and better look at everything,
- 8:41Speaker 1: and frankly, we better look at the money we send
- 8:43Speaker 1: to Ukraine as well, and say how can we best
- 8:45Speaker 1: spend the money to protect America. I think that's what
- 8:47Speaker 1: the people elect us to do. That's what we're gonna do.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I think that's what the American people elect us to do,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and that's what we're gonna do. He's absolutely right. All right,
- 8:57Speaker 1: real quick, let me pause and tell you about are
- 9:00Speaker 1: incredible friends over at Patriot Mobile. They are America's only
- 9:04Speaker 1: Christian conservative cell phone provider. They want to make it
- 9:09Speaker 1: easy for you to try switching to Patriot Mobile from
- 9:12Speaker 1: whatever service you have right now. You can give them
- 9:15Speaker 1: sixty days to show you why I use Patriot Mobile
- 9:18Speaker 1: and why you should make the switch right now. When
- 9:21Speaker 1: you try Patriot Mobile for two months, you get your
- 9:25Speaker 1: third month free, plus you get free activation now. They
- 9:28Speaker 1: offer nationwide coverage on the best four G and five
- 9:31Speaker 1: G networks, and they use the same exact cell towers
- 9:34Speaker 1: of all of the three other major carriers. You're gonna
- 9:37Speaker 1: get the same coverage you have right now, you get
- 9:40Speaker 1: the same great service. You get to keep your same
- 9:42Speaker 1: cell phone number if you want to. You can even
- 9:43Speaker 1: usually use the same phone you have in your hand
- 9:45Speaker 1: right now. Now, Why do you want to switch? When
- 9:48Speaker 1: you do, they actually stand up for a First and
- 9:50Speaker 1: Second Amendment rights, and they give a portion of your
- 9:53Speaker 1: bill every month back to conservative Christian causes that we
- 9:58Speaker 1: all believe in. So, if you're ready to support a
- 10:02Speaker 1: company that's fighting to preserve our God given rights and
- 10:05Speaker 1: our freedoms, just go to Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson.
- 10:09Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile dot com slash ferguson, or you can
- 10:14Speaker 1: call them nine seven to Patriot. It's nine seven to Patriot.
- 10:18Speaker 1: If you're fed up with woke companies that don't care
- 10:20Speaker 1: about your values, support a company that actually does make
- 10:23Speaker 1: the switch today get a free month of service plus
- 10:26Speaker 1: free activation patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven two.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Patriot Representative Jim Jordan also mentioned something else that I
- 10:38Speaker 1: think is important to bring up, and that's this The
- 10:41Speaker 1: Biden administration has totally screwed this country on the issue
- 10:45Speaker 1: of immigration. He says, it's time for us to talk
- 10:49Speaker 1: about that. It's time for us to be honest and
- 10:52Speaker 1: candid about that. It's time for us to realize that
- 10:57Speaker 1: we have no border at all, certainly not a secure border.
- 11:01Speaker 1: That's something we do not have. And that's another reason
- 11:05Speaker 1: why Republicans have to stand up to this administration. Can
- 11:09Speaker 1: you go to the table with the White House on
- 11:11Speaker 1: any immigration proposals? Where is their common ground? Because you
- 11:13Speaker 1: all agree it's a mess. Well, first of all, they
- 11:17Speaker 1: last time I checked, they just controlled all of government
- 11:19Speaker 1: literally a couple of weeks ago. So for two years,
- 11:22Speaker 1: they had the House, they had the Senate, they had
- 11:24Speaker 1: the White House. Why in the world, why in the
- 11:26Speaker 1: world didn't they get an immigration solution. Joe Biden refused
- 11:29Speaker 1: to visit the border when they controlled all of government
- 11:31Speaker 1: to talk about any type of solution. And they've allowed now, frankly,
- 11:34Speaker 1: a situation where we no longer have a border. And
- 11:36Speaker 1: what they did, and he did it from day one,
- 11:38Speaker 1: is they undid the good policies President Trump had in place.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Right now, the message they've sent to anyone, and you
- 11:44Speaker 1: can't fault people wanting to come here, but the message
- 11:46Speaker 1: they have sent is if you come to our country,
- 11:48Speaker 1: there won't be a wall to get over, you won't
- 11:50Speaker 1: have to wait in Mexico while we evaluate your asylum claim,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and you'll come in and be released to wherever you
- 11:54Speaker 1: want to go. That's the message day have sent. So
- 11:56Speaker 1: don't tell us that it was a Republican's fault. For
- 11:59Speaker 1: goodness sake, We're certainly willing to work to do the
- 12:01Speaker 1: policies that actually will give us a border the ones
- 12:04Speaker 1: we had under President Trump. But it doesn't seem like
- 12:06Speaker 1: the Democrats want to put back in place the very
- 12:08Speaker 1: things that actually were effective in securing our southern border.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You want to know why they don't want to secure
- 12:13Speaker 1: the southern border because they love what's happening. They love
- 12:16Speaker 1: the fetnol coming across, killing off your kids. They love
- 12:21Speaker 1: the cartels and the wars down there on the border
- 12:23Speaker 1: distract from the other policies in America. They love that
- 12:27Speaker 1: the Chinese are making money off the fetnyl and the
- 12:29Speaker 1: ingredients needed to make fetnyl that are coming through the
- 12:32Speaker 1: southern border. They love the fact that all these people
- 12:35Speaker 1: are coming across the border, and then they can just
- 12:39Speaker 1: hand out amnesty to them one day. This is their
- 12:41Speaker 1: game plan, and they're all going to vote for Democrats.
- 12:44Speaker 1: So here's five six million new people. That's what they're
- 12:48Speaker 1: hoping for. That's what they're wanting to happen. That is
- 12:53Speaker 1: their game plan. And then all of a sudden, the
- 12:57Speaker 1: President is like, oh, I'm gonna go down the border,
- 12:59Speaker 1: and I'm gonna visit that border, and we're gonna talk
- 13:02Speaker 1: about some things we can do to kind of secure
- 13:05Speaker 1: the border or make sure that things work. All right, Really,
- 13:09Speaker 1: do I believe they're actually gonna do anything to protect
- 13:11Speaker 1: the border? Hell no, they have no interest in protecting
- 13:15Speaker 1: you or protecting the border. They have no interest in
- 13:20Speaker 1: trying to secure it. That's exactly where Governor Greg Abbott
- 13:23Speaker 1: and Texas ripped Biden for not even calling him once
- 13:28Speaker 1: about the border crisis. Not one time. But now he's like,
- 13:31Speaker 1: all right, I'll visit the border two years into my presidency.
- 13:34Speaker 1: When I say there's and he said, there's more important
- 13:36Speaker 1: things it's a few weeks ago to do than actually
- 13:38Speaker 1: visit the border. Listen, during this entire time, Joe Biden
- 13:41Speaker 1: has not called me. He did not call me, nor
- 13:43Speaker 1: a staff called and let us know either about his
- 13:46Speaker 1: visit or to and bide us. Until last night we
- 13:51Speaker 1: got a random email to one of my staff members
- 13:54Speaker 1: asking if I would be there to meet him on
- 13:56Speaker 1: the tarmac. And so they have failed to communicate and listen,
- 14:00Speaker 1: this visit is about two years too later, about twenty
- 14:03Speaker 1: billion dollars short, of what needs to be done. All
- 14:06Speaker 1: he's gonna do down there is rearranged the chairs on
- 14:10Speaker 1: the deck of the Titanic. He's not going to achieve
- 14:12Speaker 1: any solutions that will make the border safer, more secure,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and stop illegal immigration. I don't think there's anything there
- 14:20Speaker 1: that he said that's wrong. You last minute asked the
- 14:24Speaker 1: governor to show up at the tarmac, and I'll passo
- 14:26Speaker 1: last minute to a random staffer. That's how this White
- 14:29Speaker 1: House works because they don't really want to fix this problem.
- 14:33Speaker 1: That's why the White House is not taking it seriously.
- 14:36Speaker 1: That's why they're suing a state who use shipping containers
- 14:39Speaker 1: to build their own wall, saying you can't do that
- 14:41Speaker 1: on the border. That's why they're not funding adequately the
- 14:45Speaker 1: border issue to protect all of us. They don't want
- 14:49Speaker 1: to do that. Why on earth would you all these
- 14:54Speaker 1: people coming across, all these people, undercutting American wages, undercutting
- 14:57Speaker 1: American people, undercutting America in citizens, and then all of
- 15:02Speaker 1: a sudden you come out. Now now you're like, all right, well,
- 15:04Speaker 1: we want to we want to do something on this right,
- 15:06Speaker 1: We want to we want to get involved. Two years
- 15:09Speaker 1: too late. Border residents responded to Biden's first ever trip
- 15:14Speaker 1: to the border and pretty much said you can go
- 15:18Speaker 1: to hell like you you know you're allow. You guys
- 15:21Speaker 1: are full of crap. Two weeks ago, you say there's
- 15:23Speaker 1: the border secure, the Department Land Security secretary said, the
- 15:26Speaker 1: border is not wide open, it's closed, and it's secure.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Then the White House contradicts that just one day before
- 15:33Speaker 1: the President leaves for Texas, and he said, and they
- 15:35Speaker 1: say this, I will go back to what I have
- 15:39Speaker 1: said and what the President has said, I think, very
- 15:43Speaker 1: passionately yesterday and very um precisely, which is that you know,
- 15:49Speaker 1: we are doing everything that we can to secure the
- 15:53Speaker 1: border and to deal with irregular migration. That is a
- 15:58Speaker 1: priority for this miss to day one. That's a lie.
- 16:04Speaker 1: It's not been the priority of the administration since day one.
- 16:08Speaker 1: In fact, the first thing they did was resend every
- 16:10Speaker 1: single thing that was happening at the border. Myorchists. Biden administration,
- 16:14Speaker 1: he said, planned to have a successful launch of what
- 16:18Speaker 1: we're building upon now and that this is going to
- 16:21Speaker 1: work in the right direction for us. I don't even
- 16:23Speaker 1: know what that means. But here's the crap they're selling
- 16:25Speaker 1: you on TV as a sectary. Thank you on good morning.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Good morning, Poppy, thanks for having me. So the Biden
- 16:32Speaker 1: administration says that it wants to end Title forty two,
- 16:35Speaker 1: but then just yesterday the administration does this and effectively
- 16:39Speaker 1: expands the program. How do you reconcile the two. Do
- 16:42Speaker 1: you want to end it or keep using it and
- 16:44Speaker 1: expand it, Poppy, That's very easily explained. Actually, but let
- 16:51Speaker 1: me take a step back and share with everyone what
- 16:55Speaker 1: our underlying approach is, and that is to build safe
- 16:59Speaker 1: and orderly pathways for people to come to the United
- 17:03Speaker 1: States who qualify, to cut out the smugglers that are
- 17:06Speaker 1: so ruthless, that are causing so much death, tragedy, and trauma.
- 17:12Speaker 1: To incentivize people to use these lawful pathways and not
- 17:16Speaker 1: take the dangerous journey and place their lives in the
- 17:19Speaker 1: hands of the smugglers. That is our underlying policy. We
- 17:23Speaker 1: are unable to use our ordinary legal authorities because a
- 17:29Speaker 1: court in Louisiana has compelled us, has forced us to
- 17:34Speaker 1: use the Title forty two authority, that expulsion authority to
- 17:38Speaker 1: the extent that we can. And so we are incentivizing
- 17:42Speaker 1: through these lawful programs that rose A referenced, and we
- 17:47Speaker 1: are disincentivising using the authority that we're obligated to use
- 17:51Speaker 1: right now. And I hear you about the federal judge
- 17:53Speaker 1: in Louisiana that was in May of last year, but
- 17:55Speaker 1: then in November after that, the Federal Judge DC ordered
- 18:01Speaker 1: the end of it, and now it's up in the
- 18:02Speaker 1: hands of the Supreme Court. You talked about smugglers and
- 18:05Speaker 1: this policy, but isn't that a hope and not a guarantee?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Because you've got a lot of Democrats, including four Democratic Senators,
- 18:14Speaker 1: who say that they are disappointed in this plan. They
- 18:16Speaker 1: call it an inhumane expansion of the Trump ra Title
- 18:20Speaker 1: forty two, and they say it will quote further and
- 18:22Speaker 1: rich smuggling networks. How do you know it won't. That
- 18:27Speaker 1: isn't poppy. That is not what we have seen through
- 18:31Speaker 1: the successful launch of precisely the program we announced yesterday,
- 18:35Speaker 1: but when we implemented it with respect to the Venezuelan nationals,
- 18:40Speaker 1: we saw Venezuelan nationals willing to wait and apply through
- 18:46Speaker 1: the process that we're expanding. As of yesterday, we saw
- 18:49Speaker 1: them wait to apply to avoid the smugglers. We saw
- 18:54Speaker 1: a ninety percent drop in the number of encounters of
- 18:58Speaker 1: Venezuelan nationals in between our ports of entry, and we
- 19:02Speaker 1: saw an increasing number use our process and fly safely
- 19:07Speaker 1: to the United States knowing they were pre qualified to
- 19:10Speaker 1: enter and to gain work authorization. A very successful launch
- 19:15Speaker 1: that we are now building upon. This administration will continue
- 19:20Speaker 1: to do everything they can to undermine the American worker
- 19:26Speaker 1: and the American citizens. They want to remake this country
- 19:32Speaker 1: and they want to import, just like they have millions
- 19:37Speaker 1: of illegal immigrants so that they can then give them amnesty.
- 19:42Speaker 1: When Joe Biden comes out announcing a new border plan,
- 19:46Speaker 1: what's he really doing nothing? And he knows it, he
- 19:51Speaker 1: knows it. There's one other aspect, by the way, this
- 19:56Speaker 1: border fight that I also need to bring into perspective
- 19:59Speaker 1: for you, and that is the only reason why Joe
- 20:01Speaker 1: Biden is going to the border and decide to do
- 20:06Speaker 1: this for the first time ever. He never visited the border,
- 20:08Speaker 1: by the way, when he was the vice president for
- 20:10Speaker 1: eight years. You need to know that is because Republicans
- 20:15Speaker 1: took back control of the House, and he knows they're
- 20:17Speaker 1: going to investigate and expose everything that's been happening under
- 20:20Speaker 1: my orchis and all the lies have been taking place
- 20:24Speaker 1: with my orchis okay. That's something that needs to be
- 20:29Speaker 1: very clear. This was a play defense and say all right, well,
- 20:34Speaker 1: act like we're doing something when we all know we're
- 20:37Speaker 1: really not doing anything at all. You know, you look
- 20:40Speaker 1: at the White House's planned to curb the quote migrant crisis.
- 20:44Speaker 1: That's what they call it, migrant crisis, not illegal immigrants.
- 20:47Speaker 1: They say there's gonna be new consequences for illegal immigration.
- 20:51Speaker 1: They don't tell us what they are. They say they're
- 20:53Speaker 1: gonna be surging resources to help secure the border. Well,
- 20:57Speaker 1: they've been saying over and over again, the border is concerned,
- 20:59Speaker 1: is secure, So why would you need surging resources. In fact,
- 21:03Speaker 1: in that omnibus spending bill, at one point seven trained
- 21:06Speaker 1: our Omnimus spending bill, there was money in there for
- 21:08Speaker 1: the border, and it said clearly in there in the
- 21:11Speaker 1: bill that the money for the border could not go
- 21:15Speaker 1: to secure the border. That's how it read in the
- 21:19Speaker 1: actual omnibus spending bill. Here's money that you can use,
- 21:22Speaker 1: but it cannot be used to secure the border. That's
- 21:26Speaker 1: how deliberate they are about making sure that the border
- 21:29Speaker 1: stays wide open. Again, they're lying to you. They say
- 21:34Speaker 1: they're going to disrupt criminal smuggling networks. How tell me
- 21:37Speaker 1: how you're going to do that, because you haven't explained it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I know it's a bullet point and a talking point,
- 21:43Speaker 1: but tell me how you're actually going to do it,
- 21:45Speaker 1: because if you don't secure the border, which is what
- 21:50Speaker 1: they're now saying that they're going to do, right, They're like, oh,
- 21:52Speaker 1: we're going to secure the border. Well, you just said
- 21:55Speaker 1: that all the funding in the bill, the omnibus spending bill,
- 21:58Speaker 1: could not be used secure the So how would you
- 22:01Speaker 1: secure the border if you can't fund it? They say,
- 22:05Speaker 1: additional support for border communities. What's that gonna mean. You're
- 22:10Speaker 1: gonna give them more blankets, more water, more cell phones
- 22:13Speaker 1: to give them, more plane tickets to fly them around
- 22:16Speaker 1: the country, more bus tickets to drive them around the country.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Is that really helping these border towns, giving them more resources,
- 22:25Speaker 1: because that's all you've been doing, is making it easier
- 22:27Speaker 1: for people to come across. That's it. That's the whole thing.
- 22:32Speaker 1: That's what you've done. And then they said, oh, we
- 22:36Speaker 1: got a new app. It's going to really save us.
- 22:40Speaker 1: We have the use of this CBP one app to
- 22:43Speaker 1: make asylum claims easier, so that you don't have to
- 22:47Speaker 1: like have as much paperwork. We're just going to tell
- 22:49Speaker 1: people to go on their government phone. We give them
- 22:52Speaker 1: use the app to then register as an illegal in
- 22:56Speaker 1: this country, and then we'll figure it out later. That's
- 22:59Speaker 1: their plan, folks like that. That's the actual plan. Okay,
- 23:05Speaker 1: that's it. That's what we're talking about here. This is
- 23:09Speaker 1: the plan, plan and simple. That is it. I want
- 23:14Speaker 1: you to listen to what Representative Wells had to say
- 23:17Speaker 1: about this unfoxed business if I made just in the
- 23:20Speaker 1: moments that we have left. President Biden expected to visit
- 23:22Speaker 1: the southern border on Sunday. White House releasing its plan
- 23:25Speaker 1: to try to curb illegal immigration, which includes expanding Title
- 23:29Speaker 1: forty two and changes to some of the asylum laws.
- 23:31Speaker 1: The President blames Republicans for the border crisis. Watch this
- 23:36Speaker 1: clear in the immigration is a political issue that extreme
- 23:39Speaker 1: Republicans are always going to run on. But we need
- 23:41Speaker 1: more resources to secure the border. Yet again, extreme Republicans
- 23:45Speaker 1: have said no, they probably have been serious about this
- 23:48Speaker 1: at all. Resources in the omnibus skill they're using them
- 23:52Speaker 1: for processing, not for security. Irresponse to that, right, Well,
- 23:58Speaker 1: it's laughable and and it's not serious. Look there's three
- 24:02Speaker 1: boxes Biden is trying to check. One is Democrat leaders,
- 24:07Speaker 1: including local leaders on the border, have been ringing the
- 24:10Speaker 1: alarm bell loud enough that I think he's finally listening.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And it's mainly about Title forty two and where that's going.
- 24:19Speaker 1: So that's one. Number Two, This is about twenty twenty four,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and he knows that any presidential candidate, including President Trump,
- 24:28Speaker 1: is going to smack him over the head with the
- 24:31Speaker 1: fact that he's never visited the border. And then three,
- 24:34Speaker 1: he's on his way to Mexico for the North American
- 24:39Speaker 1: leaders summit called the Three Amigos Summit, and just to
- 24:42Speaker 1: have any credibility to sit down with the president of
- 24:45Speaker 1: Mexico having never visited our border. So that's what this
- 24:48Speaker 1: is about. It's about check and boxing's not serious policy
- 24:50Speaker 1: or and that is exactly what I was thinking that,
- 24:53Speaker 1: you know, he needs some of this to go away
- 24:54Speaker 1: in the media. So if he does check these boxes,
- 24:57Speaker 1: people can't continuously say we haven't been down to the border,
- 25:00Speaker 1: you haven't gone to take a look yourself. I'm in
- 25:02Speaker 1: those press briefings. It does get a little little tedious
- 25:05Speaker 1: for Koreine. John Pierre, Congressman elect. Michael walt thank you
- 25:09Speaker 1: so much. Good to see this morning. I love how
- 25:11Speaker 1: they described it, how Kindress and Waltz described this. This
- 25:15Speaker 1: is check the box moment for him. They're not serious.
- 25:18Speaker 1: They haven't been serious. Biden. You know when he announced
- 25:22Speaker 1: this new plan to stop the surgery illegal border crossings,
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know we're going to use an app. Amy think
- 25:28Speaker 1: an app is going to fix this. He literally talking
- 25:30Speaker 1: about an app on your phone. First, if they're seeking asylum,
- 25:35Speaker 1: they can use an app on their cell phone called
- 25:39Speaker 1: c B P one O c B P one O
- 25:44Speaker 1: n E. That's a spell it out, not the number
- 25:47Speaker 1: one to schedule an appointment at a port of entry
- 25:51Speaker 1: and make their asylum claim there without crossing the border
- 25:54Speaker 1: unlawfully and have a decision determined by an asylum officer.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Do they qualify? So are we making it easier? We
- 26:04Speaker 1: just gave you an app so that you can claim
- 26:07Speaker 1: asylum and come to this country easily and just just
- 26:11Speaker 1: fill it. Just take out your cell phone. Here's the app.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Knock yourself out with that app. Folks. Now, if you're
- 26:19Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant right now or someone that's thinking about
- 26:21Speaker 1: coming across the country, coming into this country, illegally. Are
- 26:25Speaker 1: you gonna go use this app or you're just gonna
- 26:26Speaker 1: walk across the damn border and then once you're in here,
- 26:29Speaker 1: we don't send you back. I think you and I
- 26:33Speaker 1: both know how to answer that question, right. I think
- 26:38Speaker 1: we can. We both clearly know that the illegal immigrants
- 26:42Speaker 1: are gonna laugh in his face and think that this
- 26:44Speaker 1: is hysterical, that this is a joke. Because it is
- 26:49Speaker 1: a joke, you need to use your app right. Department
- 26:58Speaker 1: of Home in Security Secretary my Archist, on Biden's visit
- 27:01Speaker 1: to al Paso, his first trip to the border, he
- 27:03Speaker 1: wants you to know the border is not open yet.
- 27:06Speaker 1: It is. There's two plus million people that you led
- 27:08Speaker 1: into this country over the last two years. They actually
- 27:11Speaker 1: made it in that you didn't deport. That would say
- 27:14Speaker 1: you're a liar. Two plus million. Let me be clear,
- 27:18Speaker 1: Title forty two or not, the border is not open.
- 27:23Speaker 1: We will continue to fully enforce our immigration laws in
- 27:27Speaker 1: a safe, orderly, and humane manner. This is about as
- 27:32Speaker 1: corrupt as when the government was telling the American people
- 27:36Speaker 1: that we were winning the war in Vietnam, when they
- 27:39Speaker 1: knew from the Pentagon papers that we weren't winning the
- 27:42Speaker 1: war in Vietnam. They knew that we were taking massive losses,
- 27:47Speaker 1: that we were not winning, and then everything was going
- 27:50Speaker 1: in the wrong direction at the right direction, but they
- 27:52Speaker 1: walked out there and TV. They're like, manaw, we're kicking
- 27:54Speaker 1: some serious tail over there in Vietnam. We're beating the
- 27:58Speaker 1: bad guys, and where are the good guys? My archists
- 28:03Speaker 1: looks straight into the camera at this press conference and
- 28:06Speaker 1: tells you that the border is closed. The borders not closed. No, no,
- 28:09Speaker 1: it is close, Joe Biden, We're going to secure the
- 28:14Speaker 1: border Biden. Biden says migration to America is a human
- 28:17Speaker 1: right if your family is being persecuted. He even gives
- 28:20Speaker 1: you the excuse over and over again. Right, here's your excuse.
- 28:22Speaker 1: Wink wink us an app that's what you gotta tell them. Well,
- 28:25Speaker 1: I think it is a human rights if you have
- 28:27Speaker 1: your if your family's being persecuted, if you're being dealt
- 28:31Speaker 1: with in a way I mean like it was. I know,
- 28:32Speaker 1: it's a human right for you know, Jews in Germany
- 28:37Speaker 1: to be able to go to get their escape and
- 28:39Speaker 1: get help where they could. Many people are not going
- 28:45Speaker 1: through the Holocaust, mister President, with all due respect, Okay,
- 28:50Speaker 1: when when people say stupid stuff like this, it deserves
- 28:53Speaker 1: a stupid response, all right, it does. It deserves a
- 29:00Speaker 1: really really stupid response. And when you say dumb things
- 29:05Speaker 1: like this, well, you know this is something they deserve,
- 29:08Speaker 1: a you know, they deserve to be able to come
- 29:10Speaker 1: into America. They deserved, they deserve the ability to do this. No, no,
- 29:17Speaker 1: they really don't. I completely disagree with you. They really
- 29:23Speaker 1: really don't. Now, if you're coming from a place and
- 29:29Speaker 1: you are truly being persecuted, then let's have that debate.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Let's have that discussion. Let's have that conversation. But that's
- 29:36Speaker 1: not the conversation that we're having right now. And I
- 29:39Speaker 1: think everybody knows it. I think everybody clearly understands it.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Do not be bamboozled by what is being said here
- 29:50Speaker 1: by the president. Do not be bamboozled by the people
- 29:53Speaker 1: around him. Do not believe that they are serious about
- 29:56Speaker 1: this for even a moment. You know. Adam Schiff went
- 30:00Speaker 1: on the View this past week and said this, It
- 30:03Speaker 1: was stupid, but he actually said that the border had
- 30:06Speaker 1: been a very strong priority for Democrats. But it's very
- 30:10Speaker 1: hard to do anything on a single party basis. You
- 30:13Speaker 1: think Republicans aren't willing to work with you to secure
- 30:16Speaker 1: the border, you idiot. But this is the same guy
- 30:19Speaker 1: that spent four years investigating Donald Trump over something he
- 30:23Speaker 1: knew was a lie. He knew that there was no
- 30:27Speaker 1: Russian collusion, but he investigated it and in peached to
- 30:31Speaker 1: present Nittis of America on that issue, knowing it was
- 30:35Speaker 1: a lie. All right. Lastly, please make sure you hit
