Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Uvalde police chief and the new investigation into his actions PROVES THAT WE NEED TO LOOK AT THE POLITICAL AFFILIATION OF LAW enforcement leaders!

- 0:01Speaker 1: We now know that the Uvalde chief that was in
- 0:06Speaker 1: charge of that response lied multiple times since that shooting,
- 0:14Speaker 1: claiming that officers tried to open the doors, found them
- 0:19Speaker 1: locked and reinforced, and they were waiting on keys. The
- 0:24Speaker 1: footages come out and shows no attempt by officers to
- 0:28Speaker 1: open those doors. The more we learn about Uvalde, the
- 0:33Speaker 1: worse it looks for the chief. New surveillance footage shows
- 0:41Speaker 1: they didn't even try to enter the classroom with a
- 0:44Speaker 1: shooter for almost an hour. While they had kevlar vests, shields, helmets,
- 0:51Speaker 1: and a R fifteens, the children only had the clothes
- 0:55Speaker 1: on their back. Now, I want to be clear about this.
- 0:59Speaker 1: This is a decision making process that makes me angry.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We know that parents and police officers did show up,
- 1:09Speaker 1: and we're willing to go in and risk their lives
- 1:11Speaker 1: to save those children's lives. We know of one law
- 1:15Speaker 1: enforcement officers whose wife called and said I've been shot
- 1:17Speaker 1: and I think and I'm dying, and he was not
- 1:21Speaker 1: allowed to go in that building and try to save her,
- 1:23Speaker 1: which he should have been allowed to do. There are
- 1:28Speaker 1: a lot of good cops who wanted to rush into
- 1:31Speaker 1: that classroom, who would have rushed in that classroom without hesitation.
- 1:36Speaker 1: But this goes back to leadership in chain of command.
- 1:40Speaker 1: How this happened is beyond me looking at what we
- 1:44Speaker 1: see now. Knowing what we know now, the stories that
- 1:47Speaker 1: are coming out. Eva Morales was one of the victims,
- 1:53Speaker 1: called her husband and said she'd been shot and was dying,
- 2:00Speaker 1: and he tried to save her. He was detained by
- 2:02Speaker 1: the police, had his gun taken away, and was escorted
- 2:07Speaker 1: from the school. The officers officer husband of slain Uvalde teacher,
- 2:13Speaker 1: was detained, had his gun taken away after trying to
- 2:16Speaker 1: save his wife her life. I want you to read.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I want to read this from you, and this is
- 2:20Speaker 1: coming from from the local news k SAT twelve quote.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Shocking testimony from the Texas DPS DPS director on Tuesday
- 2:32Speaker 1: has revealed even more insight into the abject failure quote
- 2:37Speaker 1: unquote of response to the Uvalde shooting that occurred on
- 2:41Speaker 1: May the twenty fourth. Now, before I remind you about
- 2:44Speaker 1: just how absurd these laws are being passed in Washington
- 2:47Speaker 1: that would have no impact at all on the shooting
- 2:50Speaker 1: in Uvalde. Are the ones in New York that they're
- 2:52Speaker 1: claiming they would have stopped. They would not they're lying
- 2:54Speaker 1: to you. I want to tell you real quick about

- 3:13Speaker 1: with your four oh one K, with your investments on
- 3:15Speaker 1: Wall Street, the question is did you invest in gold
- 3:18Speaker 1: or silver? Did you diversify your investments so that there
- 3:22Speaker 1: is a hedge with your portfolio for inflation. Well, that's
- 3:26Speaker 1: exactly what gold and silver has done for so many
- 3:29Speaker 1: It is a hedge to protect when it comes to inflation.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Right now is actually a great time for you to
- 3:38Speaker 1: protect your investments with gold and silver. No, you didn't
- 3:41Speaker 1: miss the opportunity. No, it's not too late. So calling

- 4:13Speaker 1: this podcast every day for free, and make sure you
- 4:16Speaker 1: share this podcast on social media by hitting that little
- 4:19Speaker 1: forward button right now. Now, we remind you we just
- 4:22Speaker 1: passed a bunch of new laws in America right that
- 4:26Speaker 1: you're supposed to celebrate. They're gonna make you safer because
- 4:28Speaker 1: of what happened with this school shooting, even though none
- 4:31Speaker 1: of these laws would have had any impact on that shooting,
- 4:33Speaker 1: and now we're finding out that this was a quote
- 4:35Speaker 1: abject failure. The Texas Department of Public Safety Director Colonel
- 4:41Speaker 1: Stephen mccrawl revealed that the husband of a slain elementary teacher,
- 4:47Speaker 1: Eva Morellis, tried to save her but was barred from
- 4:50Speaker 1: doing so. Reuben Ruez is a police officer for the
- 4:55Speaker 1: school district and was on the scene after the gunman
- 4:59Speaker 1: in to the school and open fired. Lacrosse said that
- 5:03Speaker 1: Morales called Ruez her husband and told him that she
- 5:07Speaker 1: had been shot and was dying quote unquote, and what
- 5:11Speaker 1: happened to him is he tried to move forward into
- 5:14Speaker 1: the hallway he was detained and they took his gun
- 5:18Speaker 1: away from him and escort him off of the scene.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Lakraw didn't say who specifically detained this police officer who
- 5:26Speaker 1: was willing to go save his wife's life and the
- 5:28Speaker 1: lives of children. Now, this is just one example of
- 5:32Speaker 1: what we're now finding out. You know, just when I
- 5:35Speaker 1: thought that Uvalde couldn't get any worse, it gets worse.
- 5:39Speaker 1: This is a not only a nightmare for this poor
- 5:42Speaker 1: widowed husband, who, strangely enough, as a Uvalde police officer
- 5:48Speaker 1: for the school district. Why would other cops stop a
- 5:50Speaker 1: fellow cop from saving his dying wife? As the question
- 5:53Speaker 1: that all of us should be asking, and I go
- 5:55Speaker 1: back to this, it's chain of command. You were taught
- 5:59Speaker 1: to do with the chan command says, and clearly in
- 6:01Speaker 1: Uvalde they said don't go. Wait an hour with a
- 6:05Speaker 1: guy in a classroom with innocent children, and don't go,
- 6:10Speaker 1: And then when it went horribly wrong, they lied about
- 6:14Speaker 1: it and tried to cover it up the chain of command.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Do I think all the police officers in that hallway
- 6:18Speaker 1: were cowards? No? Do I think they were listening and
- 6:21Speaker 1: the way they were trained that you don't go until
- 6:23Speaker 1: you're given the order to go. Yes. Do I think
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is a problem that we have too many police
- 6:27Speaker 1: officers that are running departments that run them from a
- 6:30Speaker 1: political mindset instead of a law enforcement mindset. Clearly that
- 6:35Speaker 1: is a problem in this country right now. I don't
- 6:38Speaker 1: know how another cop would stop of another cop from
- 6:41Speaker 1: saving his dying wife. I don't understand that. I don't
- 6:44Speaker 1: understand why they would take him and take his gun,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but that had to be a chain of command issue.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I can't even imagine knowing that I'm in the hallway
- 6:52Speaker 1: down the hall from where my wife is who's been shot,
- 6:54Speaker 1: who called me, and they detained me and take me
- 6:57Speaker 1: from the scene, and having to live without knowing that
- 6:59Speaker 1: there's a good chance I could have saved her. I
- 7:02Speaker 1: can't deal with that. But what I do know about
- 7:06Speaker 1: all of this is this guy who was in charge,
- 7:09Speaker 1: this police officer. Is very clear from the first interior
- 7:14Speaker 1: photo of the Avalde school that's been released that officers
- 7:18Speaker 1: were on the scene at eleven fifty two am with
- 7:20Speaker 1: rifles and ballistic shields. The shooter remained inside alive until
- 7:24Speaker 1: twelve fifty, so two minutes shy of an hour, and
- 7:28Speaker 1: they set there these new photos released of the Valdi
- 7:32Speaker 1: police had the ballistic shields needed in the hallway of
- 7:36Speaker 1: the school, timestamped at twelve o four. These officers were
- 7:40Speaker 1: ordered to stand down by the police chief, Pete Adondo. Now,
- 7:46Speaker 1: why this police chief act this way? Can we all
- 7:49Speaker 1: talk about this guy for just a moment. When the
- 7:54Speaker 1: head of the Texas DPS slams the Avalde police response
- 7:57Speaker 1: to the school shooting and calls an abject failure, I
- 7:59Speaker 1: wish they would have said it was an adject failure
- 8:01Speaker 1: of chain of command or from the police chief. The
- 8:04Speaker 1: commander made a decision to put the lives of officers
- 8:06Speaker 1: ahead of the lives of children quote unquote. The officers
- 8:09Speaker 1: had body armor that children had none, quote unquote, and
- 8:15Speaker 1: Aridondo was the hero. We put on TV early on
- 8:18Speaker 1: because the liberal media said, oh, what a great police chief.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Look at what he's doing. He's communicating so well, he's
- 8:24Speaker 1: talking to the press. We now know these allied multiple
- 8:27Speaker 1: times since the shooting, even claiming the officers tried to
- 8:30Speaker 1: open the doors but found them to be locked and reinforced.
- 8:33Speaker 1: That never happened. Now, you got to take a step
- 8:37Speaker 1: back from this as a parent, and you have to
- 8:39Speaker 1: look at this abject failure quote unquote. I'm sure there's
- 8:43Speaker 1: some police officers in that hallway that were clearly willing
- 8:46Speaker 1: and ready to fight that we're being told they don't
- 8:48Speaker 1: go fight, that are probably wishing they would have just said,
- 8:51Speaker 1: screw your chain of command, I'm out of here. But
- 8:53Speaker 1: they've been trained, indoctrinated to follow the chain of command.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You can look at the political donations of this guy,
- 9:02Speaker 1: and this guy's clearly a hardcore lefty who supports Democrats,
- 9:06Speaker 1: which is exactly why I do, unfortunately, think that politics
- 9:09Speaker 1: matter in law enforcement. You should never ever ever want
- 9:14Speaker 1: a hardcore lefty now, unfortunately, to be in charge of
- 9:17Speaker 1: a police department. And too many of these leaders run
- 9:20Speaker 1: for office. They run for election, they run for reelection,
- 9:25Speaker 1: and they are political jobs. They are not law enforcement officers.
- 9:29Speaker 1: And this is happening all over the country. Some of
- 9:34Speaker 1: the worst leaders right now in this country are actually
- 9:38Speaker 1: police chiefs that are political. They're politicians, they're not law
- 9:41Speaker 1: enforcement officers. Are politicians masquerading as law enforcement officers. And
- 9:46Speaker 1: this is a perfect example of that. With this guy.
- 9:49Speaker 1: You can follow the money and I thought about doing
- 9:51Speaker 1: a deep dive in the money. I don't really care
- 9:53Speaker 1: about the money. I want to just put on your
- 9:55Speaker 1: radar screen. You can do that research and go look
- 9:57Speaker 1: at it. There are articles out there are talking about
- 10:00Speaker 1: all the people he's donated funds too, and all the
- 10:03Speaker 1: liberals he's supported, and you get to make those connections. Okay,
- 10:06Speaker 1: it's there. It's a fact. What I care about more
- 10:10Speaker 1: is moving forward in the future and what the hell
- 10:12Speaker 1: are we going to do to save kids' lives, Because
- 10:14Speaker 1: you look at these pictures in their heartbreaking. They're in
- 10:16Speaker 1: the school and they know where the shooter is, and
- 10:18Speaker 1: they know the classroom he's in, and they have phone
- 10:21Speaker 1: calls coming from that classroom. And you have a teacher
- 10:23Speaker 1: that says I'm dying to her husband who's a police
- 10:25Speaker 1: officer with a school district, and he's taken his gun,
- 10:28Speaker 1: is taken away from escort and from the school. How
- 10:32Speaker 1: do you stop this from happening in the future. Number One,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you take away the gun signs that say no gun
- 10:41Speaker 1: free zone. They don't work. Every time a bad guy
- 10:44Speaker 1: with a gun tests the gun free zones in schools,
- 10:47Speaker 1: they always win. It's a Kumbaya bs utopia that never
- 10:54Speaker 1: should have become a thing and never should have happened.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Number one. Number two, we need way more security for
- 11:03Speaker 1: our kids. I would argue that we needed probably a
- 11:06Speaker 1: bare minimum of two police officers every school, because one
- 11:09Speaker 1: is not enough. We've seen where one shooter has engaged
- 11:13Speaker 1: one police officer been able to take one out or
- 11:15Speaker 1: shoot one. We need more than one, but more than that.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I go back to this wife. I'm assuming that this
- 11:23Speaker 1: police officer's wife was probably not anti Second Amendment. I
- 11:27Speaker 1: would assume that she probably knew how to shoot a firearm.
- 11:31Speaker 1: I'm assuming that people like her would want to carry
- 11:34Speaker 1: a gun into the schools, which brings me back to
- 11:37Speaker 1: this new legislation. The Ohio Senate has passed this legislation
- 11:40Speaker 1: to make it easier to armed teachers. Now, of course
- 11:43Speaker 1: the left freaks out when this broke, but in the
- 11:46Speaker 1: wake of the tragic u Valde, Texas school massacre, what
- 11:49Speaker 1: I think the Ohio Senate understood was you can't even
- 11:54Speaker 1: trust the political leaders that are in charge of police
- 11:57Speaker 1: departments to do the right thing when it comes to
- 12:00Speaker 1: school shootings. We just saw that in Texas. Somebody said
- 12:06Speaker 1: to me to day, well, this is what happens when
- 12:08Speaker 1: you demasculate men. I don't think that's It's partially true,
- 12:13Speaker 1: but I don't think it connects to you, Valdey. I
- 12:16Speaker 1: think in you, valde you had a police chief that
- 12:19Speaker 1: put his officers' lives ahead of the children's lives, and
- 12:22Speaker 1: that man should never be in law enforcement. I will
- 12:24Speaker 1: say that you should never ever be in law enforcement.
- 12:30Speaker 1: If you put officers ahead of children in a school shooting,
- 12:33Speaker 1: you should know and trust the training of those officers
- 12:35Speaker 1: and know they signed up to risk their lives to
- 12:37Speaker 1: protect innocent children, and you should let them do their job,
- 12:40Speaker 1: not hold them back for an hour, which is what
- 12:43Speaker 1: they did. But what they did in the Ohio Senate
- 12:47Speaker 1: in the wake of the shooting was they didn't pass
- 12:49Speaker 1: new laws like the like Congress did, claiming they're going
- 12:53Speaker 1: to save people's lives, and these laws will not save
- 12:55Speaker 1: people's lives right like they're doing in DC right now
- 12:59Speaker 1: using this tragedy for pushing a political agenda. What Ohio
- 13:03Speaker 1: said was that we're not going to be caught flat footed.
- 13:06Speaker 1: You can carry a gun to school if you're a
- 13:08Speaker 1: teacher and go through training, administrator, staff member, because you're
- 13:13Speaker 1: the first line of defense, and we want to make
- 13:15Speaker 1: sure that you have a chance to protect and defend
- 13:17Speaker 1: yourself until the police get there. We want to make
- 13:20Speaker 1: sure that you are right there and able, and if
- 13:23Speaker 1: you want to, not mandated. I never want to give
- 13:26Speaker 1: a gun to somebody that didn't want to have a gun.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I never want to give somebody a gun that doesn't
- 13:29Speaker 1: feel like they can handle a firearm. I want to
- 13:33Speaker 1: make that clear. I never would mandate the teachers carry firearms. Okay,
- 13:38Speaker 1: I believe it should be a choice, but you can't
- 13:41Speaker 1: tell me that in you Valley, there weren't a bunch
- 13:42Speaker 1: of people in that school that would have been more
- 13:44Speaker 1: than happy to be the first responders, to be there instantly,
- 13:48Speaker 1: to be able to protect and defend children if something
- 13:50Speaker 1: like this happened. I've lost a lot of faith in
- 13:54Speaker 1: law enforcement, not the men and women that wear the uniforms,
- 13:57Speaker 1: the leadership of them. They're far too many police chiefs
- 14:00Speaker 1: that are that are activists. They are far too many
- 14:03Speaker 1: police chiefs that are I mean, look at what they
- 14:05Speaker 1: just did in Chicago with Laurie Lightfoot. If I was
- 14:08Speaker 1: a police officer in Chicago, I'd find another job immediately.
- 14:12Speaker 1: You can't even chase people anymore. In Chicago on foot,
- 14:16Speaker 1: they have all these new rules now to not chase people.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So if you if you pull somebody over, they get
- 14:20Speaker 1: out the cars start running, you don't even You're not
- 14:22Speaker 1: even allowed to run after them anymore. It's it's total insanity.
- 14:27Speaker 1: And many of these police chiefs are the ones that
- 14:29Speaker 1: are going along with us. So Ohio and this and
- 14:33Speaker 1: every state in America should advocate for this, and every
- 14:36Speaker 1: state in America should do this. They said, we're going
- 14:38Speaker 1: to pass this legislation. They'll make it easier to arm teachers,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and Ohio teachers would need less than a day of
- 14:44Speaker 1: training before carrying a gun to school, rather than the
- 14:46Speaker 1: current required month that they have. Many teachers don't have
- 14:52Speaker 1: an entire month to go to school to learn how
- 14:54Speaker 1: to carry a gun. They are saying, look, you have
- 14:56Speaker 1: eight hours of training, will give you more training if
- 14:59Speaker 1: you want to after that. At you got to keep
- 15:01Speaker 1: up with training after that. But the reality is you
- 15:03Speaker 1: can protect and defend your life in a school, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: we're going to give you the opportunity without having to
- 15:08Speaker 1: jump through a month a required month of training, which
- 15:11Speaker 1: is what they currently have in Ohio and the Ohio
- 15:14Speaker 1: House agrees with the Senate changes to the bill that passed,
- 15:18Speaker 1: and they said, hey, we are going to allow you
- 15:21Speaker 1: to protect and defend yourself and your students in your classroom.
- 15:24Speaker 1: This House Bill ninety nine is simple. It passed the
- 15:27Speaker 1: House nearly six months ago. But they would eliminate the
- 15:30Speaker 1: need for teachers to pass the state's Peace Officers training course,
- 15:33Speaker 1: which include more than seven hundred hours of instruction, which
- 15:37Speaker 1: is insane. And that's why Democrats said they had to
- 15:41Speaker 1: do it. They knew that there were too many people
- 15:43Speaker 1: that would not, on their own time, spend seven hundred
- 15:47Speaker 1: hours in a classroom. To quote Joe Biden, come on, man,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you want a janitor or a teacher to go to
- 15:56Speaker 1: seven hundred hours of training to carry a firearm in
- 16:01Speaker 1: the classroom, You're insane. Instead, teachers would be required to
- 16:08Speaker 1: complete twenty four hours of training, along with four reoccurring
- 16:12Speaker 1: hours of training established by the Attorney General each year.
- 16:16Speaker 1: School districts should individually require more training if they so choose,
- 16:21Speaker 1: making it a local issue. States should look at this law.
- 16:25Speaker 1: It's a very very smart law. Staff members and teachers
- 16:29Speaker 1: would be required to meet certain age requirements. I'm okay
- 16:33Speaker 1: with that. The school boards must notify the public if
- 16:36Speaker 1: they choose to allow staff to be armed. I'm okay
- 16:38Speaker 1: without its transparency, but when you can't trust the chain
- 16:42Speaker 1: of command of the police to allow you to come
- 16:45Speaker 1: save you when there's a school shooting and mass shooting.
- 16:47Speaker 1: And this, by the way, the response you saw in
- 16:50Speaker 1: the school could also happen to you in a grocery
- 16:52Speaker 1: store or anywhere else, a movie theater. If you've got
- 16:55Speaker 1: the wrong police chief, this could happen anywhere. As an adult,
- 16:59Speaker 1: you could be he's stuck inside with a mass shooter
- 17:02Speaker 1: for an hour because you've got the chain of command
- 17:04Speaker 1: telling the officers you're ready to go, don't do, not go,
- 17:07Speaker 1: stay hold back, which is what happened in this school.
- 17:12Speaker 1: This isn't the only police chief, by the way, that
- 17:14Speaker 1: would respond this way in this country, because we've allowed
- 17:17Speaker 1: police chiefs to become political figures instead of law enforcement officers,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and that should have never have happened in this country.
- 17:28Speaker 1: They lied to the parents to their faces, telling them
- 17:30Speaker 1: they tried to get in that classroom, but the door
- 17:32Speaker 1: was locked and the door was reinforced. We know now
- 17:34Speaker 1: that was a lie. They said they tried to get
- 17:36Speaker 1: in that classroom, but the doors were locked. Their wait
- 17:38Speaker 1: on the keys. We know that was a lie. They
- 17:40Speaker 1: said they tried to say those kids' lives when clearly
- 17:42Speaker 1: they were told to stand back and wait and wait
- 17:45Speaker 1: and wait for a fifty six minutes. Once they were
- 17:49Speaker 1: in the school and knew where the shooter was. We
- 17:53Speaker 1: know that one of the police officers there was responding
- 17:55Speaker 1: not just on behalf of the children, but his wife
- 17:57Speaker 1: had been shot, who called him and said she was dying.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And what they do They restrained him. We know that
- 18:04Speaker 1: people that were willing to go into that classroom, willing
- 18:07Speaker 1: to risk their lives to save kids' lives, were restrained,
- 18:11Speaker 1: even handcuffed, and their guns were taken away. Why is
- 18:15Speaker 1: this happening? It's simple. We have allowed police chiefs to
- 18:20Speaker 1: become political figures, and that should have never happened. There
- 18:25Speaker 1: are a lot of police chiefs in this country right
- 18:27Speaker 1: now that are not genuine law enforcement officers. They are politicians.
- 18:34Speaker 1: And if there's any job a politician shouldn't have, it
- 18:36Speaker 1: should be being a police chief or a sheriff, or
- 18:39Speaker 1: someone in charge of a law enforcement a law enforcement community.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You know, we've tried this gun free zone idea experiment
- 18:53Speaker 1: to failure every time someone wants to challenge it. Every
- 18:57Speaker 1: single time that somebody shows up with a firearm and
- 19:00Speaker 1: decides to test the gun free zone, they win and
- 19:03Speaker 1: our kids lose. We lose. I'm in favor of arming
- 19:10Speaker 1: any person in a school that is willing to go
- 19:15Speaker 1: through a little bit of training and once to protect
- 19:18Speaker 1: and defend themselves. You know, these kids not only were helpless,
- 19:23Speaker 1: the people inside around them were helpless. The teachers were helpless.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And every time we see teachers who get killed protecting
- 19:30Speaker 1: defending kids' lives. If you're willing to give your kids
- 19:33Speaker 1: over to these adults for eight hours a day for
- 19:36Speaker 1: the majority of their youth right there, the majority of
- 19:39Speaker 1: their life eighteen and under is with some other person,
- 19:43Speaker 1: why in the hell would you not trust them to
- 19:45Speaker 1: save your kid's life or protect at least try to
- 19:48Speaker 1: protect your kids life in a scenario like this. I've
- 19:51Speaker 1: never understood that logic. You'll let them indoctrinate your kids.
- 19:56Speaker 1: You'll let them teach them about reading, writing, and arithmetic.
- 20:00Speaker 1: You'll let them be in charge of their success or
- 20:02Speaker 1: their future failures in life when it comes to their education.
- 20:05Speaker 1: But you don't trust them to protecting the kids. You're
- 20:08Speaker 1: protecting and defend your child's life in a classroom. I
- 20:12Speaker 1: don't understand that logic. Look at the legislation that was
- 20:17Speaker 1: just passing DC. None of it's going to affect school shootings.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Go look at it, read it. I have. These people
- 20:25Speaker 1: are not there to protect your kids. Many of these
- 20:26Speaker 1: police chiefs here are politicians, are not going to protect
- 20:29Speaker 1: your kids. This police chiefs try to lie and cover
- 20:32Speaker 1: it up, and it's all coming out now. The video
- 20:36Speaker 1: shows a lied about all of it. If you cannot
- 20:39Speaker 1: trust the leaders who are in charge of law enforcement
- 20:43Speaker 1: to go in and save your kids' lives, if they
- 20:46Speaker 1: are in this scenario, then why are we not arming
- 20:49Speaker 1: the teachers that want to be armed. If I was
- 20:54Speaker 1: a school teacher, I know just from us from teaching
- 21:00Speaker 1: tennis with kids, I know from my own kids, I
- 21:03Speaker 1: would absolutely give up my life to try to save
- 21:05Speaker 1: another kid's life. It's just in the my DNA. Would
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'd charge a classroom with a guy that has a
- 21:12Speaker 1: bigger and better gun than I have to try to
- 21:14Speaker 1: save kids' lives and I that's there. Yes, Am I
- 21:16Speaker 1: going to run away? No, it's just in my DNA.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Many of these people in the community were the same way.
- 21:21Speaker 1: The guy that was you know, sitting there and heard
- 21:24Speaker 1: when the shooting happened, right got the text message of
- 21:26Speaker 1: the phone call and was getting his you know, at
- 21:28Speaker 1: the barbershop, and you valide and asked the barber if
- 21:31Speaker 1: you had a gun to game a shotgun and went
- 21:32Speaker 1: to school. The same with his dad, who was not
- 21:35Speaker 1: a police officer in that moment, he was a husband
- 21:38Speaker 1: trying to save his wife's life. There are people that
- 21:40Speaker 1: will put their lives on the line. You just need
- 21:43Speaker 1: to let them go and do it when they have
- 21:45Speaker 1: the opportunity, and don't hold them back because now what
- 21:50Speaker 1: we're learning is you cannot trust that law enforcement is
- 21:53Speaker 1: going to do the right thing. And I'm not criticizing
- 21:55Speaker 1: the police. I'm criticizing the politicians masquerading as police chiefs
- 22:00Speaker 1: and commanders. I look at those pictures and the video
- 22:05Speaker 1: that has come out and been leaked out of those
- 22:07Speaker 1: police officers staged in that hallway. They were like racehorses
- 22:12Speaker 1: in the gate, just waiting for the doors to open,
- 22:15Speaker 1: because they didn't flinch when they finally gave the order
- 22:17Speaker 1: fifty six minutes later to go into that classroom. They
- 22:20Speaker 1: didn't flinch. They were ready to go. And I'm sure
- 22:24Speaker 1: some of them said at that moment and in time
- 22:26Speaker 1: now I wish we would have just said, screw you,
- 22:28Speaker 1: police chief. We're going screw you chain of command. But
- 22:32Speaker 1: we've indoctrinated them that the chain of command is important,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and it is in the military, is in police, especially
- 22:36Speaker 1: in police operations. I understand that respected, but I guarantee
- 22:41Speaker 1: you if this happened again and you vowday today or
- 22:44Speaker 1: tomorrow or yesterday another one of these scenarios and that
- 22:47Speaker 1: police chief said stand down, they wouldn't do it because
- 22:50Speaker 1: they had the experience of realizing what happens in the
- 22:52Speaker 1: aftermath when you listen to that chain of command who
- 22:55Speaker 1: clearly has no idea what they're actually doing, Which is
- 22:59Speaker 1: why Ohio is so smart. When you empower the people
- 23:06Speaker 1: to do what is instinctive, and it's instinctive to fight
- 23:10Speaker 1: when someone's trying to kill you. Part of this is
- 23:13Speaker 1: just straight up instinct. If someone to attacks you, your
- 23:18Speaker 1: instinct is to fight back. If someone's trying to hurt children,
- 23:21Speaker 1: your instinct is to protect the children. And Ohio is
- 23:25Speaker 1: saying we're going to give those people that have that
- 23:27Speaker 1: in their DNA. Not everybody does, but a lot. There's
- 23:30Speaker 1: enough of us out there that still are that are
- 23:32Speaker 1: going to fight, and they're going to fight and they're
- 23:36Speaker 1: willing to die to protect innocent people's lives. There's enough
- 23:39Speaker 1: good people like that still left in our school systems.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And many school teachers are willing to die, and we
- 23:44Speaker 1: see it every time when there's a school shooting. They
- 23:47Speaker 1: use their body as a human shield, they try to
- 23:50Speaker 1: protect their students and they die. Every school shooting there's
- 23:53Speaker 1: one common animator, a dead teacher or a dead administrator,
- 23:56Speaker 1: or multiple dead teachers who afterwards we find out we're hero.
- 24:01Speaker 1: If you're willing to dedicate your life for not a
- 24:03Speaker 1: lot of money to teach children, there's usually something really
- 24:09Speaker 1: inherently good and pure about your motives, and those are
- 24:15Speaker 1: the people that you want to arm. And to the
- 24:18Speaker 1: left that says, oh, this is a scary idea. What's
- 24:21Speaker 1: scarier a lot of dead kids because no one can
- 24:23Speaker 1: stop a shooter or a teacher who's willing to try
- 24:26Speaker 1: to protect them defend that child, because they're going to
- 24:29Speaker 1: do it either way, whether you give them the tool
- 24:31Speaker 1: or don't give them the tool. They're going to try
- 24:33Speaker 1: to protect those kids, So give them the tool to
- 24:35Speaker 1: protect those kids. We've tried this liberal way, We've tried
- 24:38Speaker 1: the liberal logic. We've tried these signs that say gun
- 24:41Speaker 1: free zone. They don't work every single time they've been challenged.
- 24:45Speaker 1: If there's any data that's been consistent, it is that
- 24:48Speaker 1: data when you chat when someone challenges your gun free
- 24:52Speaker 1: coombay yah world, it always fails every single time. So
- 24:57Speaker 1: why do you keep going down the same road when
- 24:59Speaker 1: you know the outcome is going to be the same
- 25:01Speaker 1: next time. But until we start telling people this, until
- 25:06Speaker 1: we start demanding it from our legislators, until we start
- 25:09Speaker 1: showing up and saying, let our kids be safer in
- 25:12Speaker 1: the school, safer by allowing the ministrators to carry firearms
- 25:15Speaker 1: that want to and those that want to be trained.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Until we change the narrative, the left will continue to
- 25:21Speaker 1: not protect your children. It's up to us, folks. Ohio
- 25:26Speaker 1: got it right. There's a blueprint there. We should do
- 25:28Speaker 1: the same thing everywhere in this country where we care
- 25:31Speaker 1: about kids. Because the left is not going to give
- 25:33Speaker 1: an in, so they do not want you to feel
- 25:35Speaker 1: empowered to save your own life. That's also why I
- 25:39Speaker 1: never will trust liberals on these issues. These the same
- 25:43Speaker 1: people that demand that you kill babies on demand right
- 25:46Speaker 1: before they're born in this country and celebrate abortion. And
- 25:49Speaker 1: you think they're going to value your kid's life when
- 25:51Speaker 1: you know what hits the fan. No, they care about
- 25:54Speaker 1: their ideals and their ideology, and that is that no
- 25:57Speaker 1: guns are allowed, and they care more about that agenda
- 26:02Speaker 1: they do about any child whose life is going to
- 26:05Speaker 1: be taken. Proof of it is a legislation they just
- 26:07Speaker 1: passed in the Senate. None of it's going to stop
- 26:10Speaker 1: at school shooting, but they use that tragedy and they
- 26:13Speaker 1: use your emotions to pass a bill that takes away
- 26:16Speaker 1: more of your rights. In the disguise and the name
- 26:19Speaker 1: and the packaging of oh this we could save people's
- 26:22Speaker 1: lives and u valide or the next shooting on the
- 26:24Speaker 1: subway in New York and it will not. Please make
