- 1:44Speaker 4: the mouth, turn out, turn Ald then Apo Loo.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 6: You're listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 6: I do. Took me when I said, but I do
- 2:15Speaker 6: like I say always. It just is a constant reminder
- 2:19Speaker 6: of how good God has been. So my question to
- 2:22Speaker 6: you is what's stopping you from having the life that
- 2:27Speaker 6: you want? What's stopping you from having the life that
- 2:31Speaker 6: you want?
- 2:32Speaker 2: I know a lot of.
- 2:33Speaker 6: People who have given up on achieving the life of
- 2:38Speaker 6: their dreams. But I know they'd still want them if
- 2:42Speaker 6: they could get to them. But they just allowed to
- 2:45Speaker 6: settle for so many reasons. So who I'm talking to
- 2:50Speaker 6: is you today? What's really at the core of stopping you?
- 2:55Speaker 2: What is that?
- 2:56Speaker 6: Is it your friends or your associates, Is it the
- 3:00Speaker 6: fear of what you think somebody else will think of
- 3:03Speaker 6: you if you decide to change.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Is it what I used to call the call of
- 3:08Speaker 2: the wile?
- 3:09Speaker 6: Is it the fact that you keep thinking that the
- 3:12Speaker 6: thing that you're doing that's providing you these momentary moments
- 3:16Speaker 6: of pleasure that really ain't really good or healthy for you,
- 3:21Speaker 6: you don't want to stop doing that because you've got
- 3:23Speaker 6: just a little bit more something else you want to do.
- 3:25Speaker 6: I call that the call of the while. You know
- 3:28Speaker 6: it's just out there. Them streets is calling you, Them
- 3:30Speaker 6: lights is calling you. You know, them girls is calling you.
- 3:33Speaker 6: Them guys that's on the wrong side keep calling you.
- 3:37Speaker 6: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 3:43Speaker 6: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 3:45Speaker 6: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 3:50Speaker 6: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 3:53Speaker 6: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 3:56Speaker 6: the end of the day, here's the real deal. God
- 4:00Speaker 6: is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:04Speaker 6: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 4:06Speaker 6: God wants the very best for all of us. That's
- 4:09Speaker 6: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 4:12Speaker 6: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 4:16Speaker 6: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 4:22Speaker 6: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 4:26Speaker 6: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 4:29Speaker 6: wide range of reasons and misery love company. So usually
- 4:33Speaker 6: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 4:36Speaker 6: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 4:40Speaker 6: going to church. You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 4:42Speaker 6: really want you to go to church. You know your
- 4:45Speaker 6: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 4:49Speaker 6: as a.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Solution to you.
- 4:51Speaker 6: You know, your friends don't really really get the fact
- 4:56Speaker 6: that if you treat people better, people would treat you better.
- 4:59Speaker 2: So what's that?
- 5:01Speaker 6: So your friends are a lot of times the reasons,
- 5:04Speaker 6: you know, the peer pressure of what and then the
- 5:07Speaker 6: thought in your mind of what they gonna think once
- 5:10Speaker 6: they find out I don't do what they do anymore.
- 5:13Speaker 6: Who cares what they think other than you? I mean, really,
- 5:18Speaker 6: you can't let what somebody thinks of you stop you
- 5:21Speaker 6: from having the best life you wanted to have. If
- 5:24Speaker 6: I went by that theory right there, wouldn't I wouldn't
- 5:27Speaker 6: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 5:30Speaker 6: never become a stand up I would had I listened
- 5:33Speaker 6: to the people around me who clearly told me when
- 5:36Speaker 6: I quit my job to pursue this, boy, don't you
- 5:39Speaker 6: quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't you
- 5:42Speaker 6: do this. You ain't got no bit that, ain't no
- 5:45Speaker 6: security in that. Get yourself a job. Go down here,
- 5:48Speaker 6: and what's your brothers? Go to work over here?
- 5:50Speaker 2: Go to I heard all of that.
- 5:53Speaker 6: I didn't let that stop me from pursuing this. Why
- 5:55Speaker 6: would you allow that to stop you from pursuing your
- 5:58Speaker 6: relationship with God so you can have the best life
- 6:01Speaker 6: you could possibly have. You gang bang because they've convinced
- 6:05Speaker 6: you that this is the family situation and love that
- 6:09Speaker 6: you don't have, and they've convinced you that this is
- 6:11Speaker 6: your only way, your only source of getting over and then.
- 6:16Speaker 2: You drum up these ignorant reasons man for staying with it.
- 6:21Speaker 6: But they sound so good when you listening to everybody
- 6:24Speaker 6: else you're surrounded by telling you why we gang banging,
- 6:28Speaker 6: why we holding this block down, why we slanging this
- 6:31Speaker 6: thing here right here?
- 6:33Speaker 2: Why we letting it go.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Like this here, you keep listening to them when all
- 6:38Speaker 6: in your heart of hearts you know this ain't right.
- 6:40Speaker 6: You already know, but you allow that form of the
- 6:45Speaker 6: call of the wile that wanting to be accepted by
- 6:48Speaker 6: a group of people who trying to get you to
- 6:50Speaker 6: accept the way, so you con further they progress to
- 6:53Speaker 6: even prove that you're worthy to be around them, you
- 6:57Speaker 6: got to commit some type of crime to even prove
- 7:00Speaker 6: that you're worthy to be around them.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Then when you get busted on the crime, what happens
- 7:05Speaker 2: to that.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Where your family had Now they don't come down there
- 7:08Speaker 6: to see you because guess what, they can't turn in
- 7:11Speaker 6: They idea to desk at a law enforcement center, So
- 7:14Speaker 6: now your homies can't come visit you. And then you
- 7:17Speaker 6: know your family back out here, they ain't taking care
- 7:19Speaker 6: of your family because it's all about them. Then you
- 7:23Speaker 6: learn that what is it that's stopping you from having
- 7:25Speaker 6: the life that you always wanted to have?
- 7:28Speaker 2: What is it?
- 7:29Speaker 6: Why are you a repeat offender? Why do you keep
- 7:33Speaker 6: checking yourself back into that institution?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Why?
- 7:37Speaker 6: Man, why won't you get it together? Why won't you
- 7:40Speaker 6: give God a try? Why won't you disassociate yourself. Why
- 7:44Speaker 6: would you continue to be a part of a revolving
- 7:47Speaker 6: door system and becoming a farm system for these institutions
- 7:52Speaker 6: that ain't got nothing for you?
- 7:54Speaker 2: But you keep going back in there.
- 7:55Speaker 6: And then every time you go in there, and now
- 7:56Speaker 6: your little homies or your gang banging little tell the
- 8:00Speaker 6: little friends try to make you think that's a badge
- 8:02Speaker 6: of honor.
- 8:03Speaker 2: There ain't no badge of honor. Man, that's one mold.
- 8:05Speaker 6: What's one more scratch on that record, That's one mode,
- 8:09Speaker 6: that's one more nail in that coffin. That's one step
- 8:12Speaker 6: closer to that third strike where you ain't gonna ever
- 8:15Speaker 6: get out. It's one step closer to that graveyard you
- 8:18Speaker 6: keep on. Why would you not give God a try?
- 8:22Speaker 6: Why would you not go and see what your life
- 8:25Speaker 6: could really be? What is it that's stopping you? Because see,
- 8:28Speaker 6: I got news for you. There's nothing like waking up free.
- 8:33Speaker 6: I don't care who you are. There's nothing like waking
- 8:36Speaker 6: up with the joy in your heart. Now, if you
- 8:39Speaker 6: ain't gonna be free, get the joy in your heart,
- 8:42Speaker 6: the satisfaction of knowing that you're accomplishing something with your life.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Help somebody behind them balls get in the program, show
- 8:49Speaker 6: these young cats when they come in a better way.
- 8:51Speaker 6: But don't you dash sit there, man and just ride
- 8:55Speaker 6: it out, and man, just go and get the fullest
- 8:59Speaker 6: life that you can have. What you know what it
- 9:02Speaker 6: feels like to wake up and be on your way somewhere,
- 9:05Speaker 6: knowing that you have something to accomplish, that you can
- 9:08Speaker 6: change somebody, that you can stop somebody from going down
- 9:11Speaker 6: the roads you went down. It's a whole lot of
- 9:13Speaker 6: ways to make your life better. But why would you
- 9:15Speaker 6: not go and have the best life you can have?
- 9:18Speaker 6: What is it that's stopping you?
- 9:20Speaker 7: Really?
- 9:21Speaker 2: Really?
- 9:22Speaker 6: So you think that Satan really has your best interest
- 9:25Speaker 6: at heart, That the little thing your mama kept telling
- 9:28Speaker 6: you about praying you wasn't listening, was you.
- 9:31Speaker 2: But you know, it ain't ever too late to get
- 9:33Speaker 2: back to that. It ain't ever too late to turn around.
- 9:36Speaker 6: It ain't ever too late to get your life together,
- 9:39Speaker 6: it ain't ever too late to seek God, and it
- 9:42Speaker 6: ain't ever.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Too late to pray.
- 9:44Speaker 6: Don't forget to pray, don't be ashamed to pray, and
- 9:47Speaker 6: don't be too proud to pray, because prayer changes things.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Prayer change people too. I'm a witness to that you're listening.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Show.
- 10:00Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come again, another blessing,
- 10:04Speaker 6: another gift, another opportunity, another chance. Call it whatever you
- 10:08Speaker 6: want to call it, man, but do call it some
- 10:10Speaker 6: grace and favor, because we don't have to be here.
- 10:12Speaker 6: And I am so glad to be a participant in
- 10:15Speaker 6: this new day. I hope you feel the same way. Hey, look,
- 10:19Speaker 6: if you got up on what they call the wrong
- 10:22Speaker 6: side of the bed, stop saying that. How about the
- 10:25Speaker 6: fact that you got up. If you show gratitude, it
- 10:28Speaker 6: will affect your attitude and will have direct correlation on
- 10:33Speaker 6: your altitude. You have got to change the way you
- 10:37Speaker 6: look at this at I don't get up on the
- 10:39Speaker 6: wrong side of the bed. I don't care what side
- 10:41Speaker 6: he get me up on. Just as long as you
- 10:42Speaker 6: get me up, That's what I want to do, and
- 10:45Speaker 6: then I can go from there. Ain't that the truth?

- 14:47Speaker 8: down there to the courthouse and get all this stuff rectified.
- 14:50Speaker 2: But we didn't found out that Travis ain't no, ain't
- 14:53Speaker 2: none of Damon's child.

- 15:07Speaker 2: Look?
- 15:08Speaker 8: The family then had a meeting, and I'm the one

- 15:14Speaker 7: You don't have a damn thing to do with this.
- 15:16Speaker 7: You You ain't nobody daddy over here, So I'm not
- 15:19Speaker 7: sure what you're calling for. Who God made you keen
- 15:22Speaker 7: or wanted you to be head in charge to call?
- 15:25Speaker 7: But that's not gonna work out.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Well let me why are you doing this to my brother?
- 15:29Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying.
- 15:30Speaker 8: For eight years, the man been sending you seven hundred
- 15:32Speaker 8: and some dollars a month and this ain't even his child.
- 15:36Speaker 2: You know.

- 16:29Speaker 7: And you don't need to be talking to me.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You finish send us all the money my brother didn't sent, y'all.

- 16:42Speaker 7: you gonna.
- 16:42Speaker 8: Send every dining back because it belonged to my brother
- 16:45Speaker 8: that ain't my brother.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Child.

- 16:48Speaker 8: marve pops showing nothing to find out who you know what?
- 16:51Speaker 7: Like I said, you kicked the wrong one to it
- 16:54Speaker 7: be your best bet not to call me anymore. You Actually,
- 16:56Speaker 7: it is a good thing that you call, because if
- 16:58Speaker 7: you can't knock it on my door.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You with today, No you go, that's my second thing
- 17:03Speaker 2: I'm fen to do. If we can't RECTI fight over

- 17:07Speaker 8: There, knocking down some doz and getting some questions answered,
- 17:09Speaker 8: because damn it, this ain't Damon's baby.
- 17:12Speaker 7: Obviously you must wish it was yours. So she's taking
- 17:14Speaker 7: so much entest.
- 17:15Speaker 2: No it ain't mine, but but it ain't Damon's either,
- 17:19Speaker 2: and we got that money.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Must not have any and looking for a song. But
- 17:22Speaker 7: I'm sorry this was taken over here and Damon where
- 17:25Speaker 7: we continue to play?
- 17:26Speaker 2: When he owes Damon, don't ask what's all?
- 17:29Speaker 7: What your brothers know? You don't want to play.
- 17:30Speaker 10: I'm sorry.
- 17:31Speaker 7: He's gonna continue to pay, and you can call wherever
- 17:33Speaker 7: you want to come, do whatever you want to do.
- 17:35Speaker 7: So go back and tell your mama and everybody else
- 17:37Speaker 7: who's waiting for this meeting to let them know it
- 17:40Speaker 7: ain't having me.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Look, my mama ain't got nothing to do with it.
- 17:43Speaker 7: Mama business got your mama, you say, sir, Mama and

- 24:53Speaker 1: He had a million hands grabbing at me after the
- 24:56Speaker 1: first kiss. It was fun at first, but then it
- 24:59Speaker 1: got to be to much. After he calmed down, he
- 25:02Speaker 1: called me a key. What did I do wrong?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Question? Seeing his mind, he thought that kiss was the
- 25:14Speaker 2: beginning of the promise. Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 6: Yeah, so now he all over you trying to go there,

- 26:03Speaker 6: If you give it now, you had to keep giving it.
- 26:06Speaker 6: You're not a tease. Just tell him listen, this is
- 26:09Speaker 6: what it was. I'm getting to know you. I'm not
- 26:12Speaker 6: ready for all that now. If you're not really interested

- 26:17Speaker 3: End this now.
- 26:18Speaker 2: Absolutely. That's grabbing on me though. That's a turnoff. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:26Speaker 2: all right.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Last one, last one. This is a Leflora in Queens.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Leflora in Queens, Leflora writes my sister in law. My
- 26:36Speaker 1: sister in law had an end of a summer cookout
- 26:39Speaker 1: with hot dogs and burgers. I asked if she planned
- 26:43Speaker 1: to put some chicken on the grill too. She called
- 26:46Speaker 1: me bougie and told me to leave. Who has a
- 26:49Speaker 1: cookout without any chicken and or steaks?
- 26:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 26:55Speaker 2: If it's for the kids, I understand it. But we
- 26:58Speaker 2: got to have a chicken on that though. I'm trying
- 27:00Speaker 2: to wear chicken that much, damn. So of course what
- 27:06Speaker 2: we got wings on that.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Get out?
- 27:14Speaker 2: I'm busy.
- 27:15Speaker 6: Yes that if chicken is bougy, you are surrounded by
- 27:20Speaker 6: some very very popy.
- 27:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry, chicken ain't bougie. Chicken is basic.
- 27:30Speaker 1: But she got put out for asking that.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Though, that's it. It's hard to find a cheap for meat.
- 27:36Speaker 5: Now, but she said, chicken a steak now? Steak okay,
- 27:40Speaker 5: but chicken.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:44Speaker 1: She just asked if she planned to put some chicken
- 27:46Speaker 1: on the grill. Then she called her bougie and put
- 27:49Speaker 1: her out. But then then Leaflora asked, who has a
- 27:53Speaker 1: cookout without any chicken and or steak?
- 27:56Speaker 2: She didn't cookout a lot of cookouts without steak. Yeah,
- 28:02Speaker 2: but the wings. If you bab somewhere and sit down.

- 28:20Speaker 1: Well, if she didn't have steaks, what else? So burgers, dogs.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Chickens, sausage, chicken.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Famine.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Maybe it's the problem when people come to my house,
- 28:34Speaker 2: where is the salmon? We don't have ye.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Put out there, but we out here.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Bobby cue it. Now, if you wanted to come to
- 28:45Speaker 6: a grill out, then go to that we Bobby cue it.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 28:49Speaker 6: Go to people house that's grills. They have corn and
- 28:52Speaker 6: vegetables turned upside.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Down and kings. That is what we got.
- 28:57Speaker 5: Oh that's what I was asking. What was the difference
- 29:00Speaker 5: between barbecue and grilling?

- 29:53Speaker 5: When you see the commercial, you'll totally understand what I'm
- 29:57Speaker 5: talking about. This PayPal ad literally had me laughing out loud.

- 30:41Speaker 5: my song singing baby geez.
- 30:45Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Carla. Now onto entertainment news. Well,
- 30:50Speaker 1: we all know this has been quite a week with
- 30:53Speaker 1: the debates earlier and all of that, But there's one
- 30:56Speaker 1: more thing that we haven't discussed on this show. What
- 30:59Speaker 1: about Shannon Sharp having sex on Instagram Live. Let's unpack
- 31:05Speaker 1: this whole thing. Okay. So Wednesday, Shannon Sharp did an
- 31:09Speaker 1: Instagram Live video from his account while he was having
- 31:12Speaker 1: sex with a woman that he called Michelle. The graphic
- 31:15Speaker 1: audio went viral instantly, and Sharp made a statement that
- 31:19Speaker 1: his account had been hacked. Then on Wednesday night, Sharp
- 31:23Speaker 1: told a different story, saying that his phone was not hacked.
- 31:27Speaker 1: He had mistakenly went on Instagram Live and he's not
- 31:31Speaker 1: sure how it happened because he's never gone live before.
- 31:35Speaker 1: So comedians, actors, bloggers, everybody you know, they had something
- 31:38Speaker 1: to say about the video. So what was your initial
- 31:42Speaker 1: reaction when you heard about.
- 31:43Speaker 6: It, Steve Well, I'm gonna let Tommy Neiam handle this.
- 31:47Speaker 6: I'm gonna do a favor to Shannon Sharp that he
- 31:49Speaker 6: didn't do for me. I'm gonna give him a pass
- 31:53Speaker 6: because I made it a mission not to talk about
- 31:55Speaker 6: people on my show and I'm gonna stay there.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So I didn't get that same grace in favor for him.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Is so Tommy Jr. Take it away.
- 32:05Speaker 8: I just don't know how you can accidentally, uh go lie.
- 32:09Speaker 8: That's that's almost impossible to accidentally.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Go live because it's a lot of buttons you got
- 32:15Speaker 2: to It's a.
- 32:15Speaker 8: Lot you got to push. I don't know how you
- 32:17Speaker 8: can push all them but and be having sex at
- 32:19Speaker 8: the same time. I just don't know how you.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Can do that. I'm in it.
- 32:23Speaker 13: I mean.
- 32:28Speaker 2: So much. Can you do all that? And you know
- 32:39Speaker 2: at work? Yes, when it happened, all these young people
- 32:44Speaker 2: was around. Go and see this.
- 32:46Speaker 6: How when old people talking to young people like we
- 32:49Speaker 6: stupid about technology?
- 32:51Speaker 2: He said, this is what that sounds like.
- 32:54Speaker 6: I said, Brooke, but listen, man, it could have had
- 32:56Speaker 6: an accident because I can't tell you how many times
- 32:59Speaker 6: I just said my on down and then I looked
- 33:01Speaker 6: back at it and it was typing in every word.
- 33:04Speaker 6: I said, yeah, He said, Dad, that's different. He said,
- 33:08Speaker 6: let me show you the five steps you have to take,
- 33:15Speaker 6: and he pulled him up and he was that, first
- 33:17Speaker 6: you got to do this. You ain't gotta go your store,
- 33:19Speaker 6: didn't gotta hit this button. Then you got to hit
- 33:21Speaker 6: this wipe, and then you got to hit the record.
- 33:23Speaker 6: He said, bro you can't do that by throwing it
- 33:25Speaker 6: on the bed. Yeah, he said, Dad, if you could
- 33:29Speaker 6: accidentally go on instant on on I G Live, you'd
- 33:34Speaker 6: have been on it.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Because you'd have made every mistake that is to make
- 33:37Speaker 2: with technology. Yes, we have seen you do it.
- 33:41Speaker 12: We have seen you.
- 33:44Speaker 2: If that was an accident. Them the most talented toes
- 33:46Speaker 2: i've ever seen type. Give him this.
- 33:51Speaker 8: He griles real good. He had a good ground. Now
- 33:54Speaker 8: he was growling, he was he was strong.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Okay, you're complimenting.
- 34:10Speaker 2: You got to interview himself.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Yeah, so okay, So you guys are saying it's impossible
- 34:15Speaker 1: for him to go on Instagram live.
- 34:20Speaker 8: The young people that worked for me told me that
- 34:22Speaker 8: you can't go by accident. Impossible. We owe we don't
- 34:28Speaker 8: know how to text. Okay, I don't know.
- 34:29Speaker 2: What the hell he was doing. Let's just say it
- 34:34Speaker 2: was an accident, Okay, for some way it could possibly
- 34:39Speaker 2: have been.
- 34:40Speaker 6: Maybe you had hit a couple of buttons prior to
- 34:43Speaker 6: and it wasn't gonna do it, and then that's around
- 34:47Speaker 6: and last step you threw it on the bed and
- 34:49Speaker 6: said I ain't.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Gonna go live, and then boom you went live.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But anything is possible.
- 34:53Speaker 2: So that's what you're saying.
- 34:54Speaker 1: It's possible.
- 35:01Speaker 6: I'm not saying if you come on my show and
- 35:04Speaker 6: talk to somebody that about somebody I know will give
- 35:09Speaker 6: the counterpart on his behalf, just as a favorite to
- 35:14Speaker 6: a person that I know, a fellow celebrity, a fellow brother.
- 35:19Speaker 6: So that's what I'm doing for Shannon Shop right now.
- 35:22Speaker 6: I'm giving him. I'm showing him how you do when
- 35:25Speaker 6: people come on your show to talk about one of
- 35:28Speaker 6: your friends, the way you should handle it.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Let's say, so it could happen that, Okay, all right,
- 35:38Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour. A recent
- 35:40Speaker 1: poll shows a VP Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump
- 35:44Speaker 1: since the debate. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 35:47Speaker 12: You're listening Hard Morning show.
- 35:50Speaker 1: According to a Rudders poll that closed yesterday, after Tuesday's debate,
- 35:56Speaker 1: VP Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump forty seven percent
- 36:00Speaker 1: to forty two percent now in the presidential race. The
- 36:03Speaker 1: debate attracted sixty seven point one million TV viewers. That's
- 36:08Speaker 1: according to Nielsen, where it's only fifty one million people
- 36:11Speaker 1: turned in to watch the Biden Trump debate back in June.
- 36:15Speaker 1: But here's a question. Are we not surprised? Why wouldn't
- 36:18Speaker 1: VP Harris be in the lead right now after her
- 36:20Speaker 1: performance and the debate.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I mean, l So here's what I think is gonna happen.
- 36:25Speaker 6: I think again, there's been some misleading information about black
- 36:29Speaker 6: men not turning out for Kamala Harris.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I think that's completely false.
- 36:34Speaker 6: I think that you are about to see a turnout
- 36:36Speaker 6: for us that's going to be very, very important. I
- 36:40Speaker 6: think that we have always held our women in high
- 36:43Speaker 6: esteem and level of respect. Now there's a sector of
- 36:47Speaker 6: us that don't get it, got it, But the bulk
- 36:50Speaker 6: majority of us do love our women, We love our people.
- 36:55Speaker 6: And let me tell you something like, you know, a
- 36:58Speaker 6: long time ago, when I was flying, somebody asked me,
- 37:01Speaker 6: was I voting for Barack Obama just because he's black?
- 37:04Speaker 2: And I said yeah.
- 37:05Speaker 6: And I was talking to a white dude and I
- 37:07Speaker 6: said yeah, and he went, well, that seems that I said, well,
- 37:11Speaker 6: ain't that the same reason you ain't voting for him?
- 37:17Speaker 6: So you know, I ain't got to have this conversation.
- 37:20Speaker 6: I just think that she is far and away the
- 37:22Speaker 6: better qualified person here. You go.
- 37:27Speaker 2: See, that's all it is.
- 37:29Speaker 6: If you look at prior experience, it would be her qualifications,
- 37:36Speaker 6: it's her.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Issues and characters her.
- 37:46Speaker 8: I don't want I don't want people to hear that
- 37:47Speaker 8: we're in such a nice lead that you don't think
- 37:50Speaker 8: you need to get your out there and vote. I
- 37:52Speaker 8: don't want people to I don't want them to hear
- 37:54Speaker 8: these numbers where it looks like we a landslide. We
- 37:57Speaker 8: need to all care I budget down there and vote.
- 37:59Speaker 8: Man that I don't want you to think we're that
- 38:01Speaker 8: far out there.
- 38:02Speaker 5: That we don't need Joe vote, because that's what happened
- 38:04Speaker 5: in twenties exceeding.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yes, that's what happens, and we've employing that.
- 38:11Speaker 6: Yeah, they try to create us to have a sense
- 38:14Speaker 6: of complacency. Yes, no, we're not going to be complacent.
- 38:19Speaker 6: We're going to show up at these polls and we
- 38:22Speaker 6: are going to be strong, and we're gonna give you
- 38:25Speaker 6: the website at the end of the show today if
- 38:28Speaker 6: you are confused about whether you are registered to vote,
- 38:31Speaker 6: because they've passed a lot of little jinky little loss
- 38:34Speaker 6: so we want you all to make sure you registered.
- 38:37Speaker 6: So when you go to your polling place, know where
- 38:39Speaker 6: your polling place is, have your proper ID and make
- 38:43Speaker 6: your make sure you register.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Make sure your addresses match. Yeah, yeah, because they try
- 38:49Speaker 2: and everything. Your address has to match your ID or
- 38:52Speaker 2: they going to turn you away.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Yep, you're right about that, all right. Coming up at
- 38:58Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, we're switching gears because

- 41:03Speaker 13: Steve thought they wrote the song over him, because the
- 41:05Speaker 13: whole song start off and this is the story about
- 41:07Speaker 13: a framous dog.
- 41:09Speaker 2: It got to beat me. That was fire, Roscoe dedicated. Yeah,

- 53:15Speaker 8: We got it for you. Hear any strawberry letter.
- 53:18Speaker 1: Thank you a few subjects. It's between me and the mouse. Okay,
- 53:23Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm married and I think we have
- 53:26Speaker 1: a rodent problem in our house because of my husband's friend.
- 53:30Speaker 1: Let me be clear. We don't have a filthy house,
- 53:32Speaker 1: and we don't eat anywhere but in our kitchen and
- 53:35Speaker 1: occasionally in our living room. My husband got out of
- 53:38Speaker 1: the military a few years ago and we chose to
- 53:41Speaker 1: settle down in a metropolitan area. When our friends come
- 53:44Speaker 1: to town, they always want to stay with us. So
- 53:48Speaker 1: when my husband's friend got out of the military, he
- 53:50Speaker 1: hasked to stay with us for a while while he
- 53:53Speaker 1: looked for a house in our area. Since he's been
- 53:55Speaker 1: in our home, there have been certain smells that I
- 53:58Speaker 1: have never experience before. My husband said that his friend
- 54:03Speaker 1: is into holistic healing and all different kinds of body oils.
- 54:06Speaker 1: I told his friend, we believe in the Lord, and
- 54:09Speaker 1: we go to the hospital if something is wrong with us.
- 54:13Speaker 1: We got into a big argument over his holistic healing theories.
- 54:17Speaker 1: And besides the stench coming from our guest room, I
- 54:20Speaker 1: saw something tiny and black running really fast out of
- 54:24Speaker 1: the room. I told my husband that it might be
- 54:26Speaker 1: a mouse and it probably came from his friend's luggage.
- 54:29Speaker 1: My husband said that I am taking things too far
- 54:32Speaker 1: because I don't like his friend. That same night, we
- 54:36Speaker 1: were in the shower together with the walls all steamed up,
- 54:39Speaker 1: and I saw a small black speck on the floor.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I yelled that it was a mouse. My husband has
- 54:45Speaker 1: perfect vision and I wear glasses, so if I saw it,
- 54:49Speaker 1: I know he saw it. Whatever it was, it quickly
- 54:53Speaker 1: ran away. That oily man has brought rodents into our house,
- 54:57Speaker 1: and my husband allowed this man and his mouse to
- 55:00Speaker 1: stay here as long as he needs to. Why is
- 55:03Speaker 1: my husband insisting on making me miserable?
- 55:06Speaker 12: What do I do?
- 55:09Speaker 1: Well, Geez, I never tell anyone to leave their house,
- 55:13Speaker 1: but they're extenuating circumstances all the time. But this is
- 55:19Speaker 1: not good, and I'm really with you it's the man,
- 55:22Speaker 1: or the mouse or me. I mean, this is your
- 55:25Speaker 1: house too, and I gotta ask you what is wrong
- 55:27Speaker 1: with your husband? Why is he so insistent upon letting
- 55:31Speaker 1: this man stay in your house? And why is he
- 55:34Speaker 1: making excuses for his stinky oils and stuff. There's such
- 55:38Speaker 1: a thing as wearing out ones welcome, and I think
- 55:41Speaker 1: his friend is way overdue. The friend and the and
- 55:44Speaker 1: the mouse need to get out. I say, call the
- 55:46Speaker 1: exterminator right now. Have them come to your house and exterminate.
- 55:50Speaker 3: Do what they do.
- 55:52Speaker 1: Neither the little rodent nor the friend can continue to
- 55:55Speaker 1: have free reign in your house. This is craziness. Let
- 55:58Speaker 1: your husband know his friend's up so you guys can
- 56:01Speaker 1: get back to living your own lives.
- 56:04Speaker 2: Steve Well, I see another problem here.
- 56:08Speaker 6: You know everything you say is fine, sheerly, but you
- 56:10Speaker 6: know you married now and you say you got a
- 56:14Speaker 6: roading problem, okay, And you.
- 56:17Speaker 2: Say it's because of your husband's friend. Now, how is
- 56:23Speaker 2: that so?
- 56:24Speaker 6: Now?
- 56:24Speaker 2: Then she tried to Now here's the Let me be clear.
- 56:27Speaker 6: We don't have a filthy house, and we don't eat
- 56:30Speaker 6: anywhere but in our kitchen and occasionally in our living room.
- 56:35Speaker 6: That ain't got nothing to do with this mouse. Now,
- 56:38Speaker 6: I just want to point that out. Now, you might
- 56:43Speaker 6: be blaming the wrong person. I don't doubt that you
- 56:46Speaker 6: got a mouse in the house, but that ain't got
- 56:49Speaker 6: nothing to do with your house being filthy. It would
- 56:52Speaker 6: add to it, of course, But you can get a
- 56:55Speaker 6: roading up in there. I mean, how do they get
- 56:59Speaker 6: in your house?
- 57:00Speaker 2: Anyway?
- 57:00Speaker 6: Through a crack of crevices under the doorway. It could
- 57:03Speaker 6: be anyway they get in they come in outside? Do
- 57:06Speaker 6: you depend on where you live. It could be a
- 57:08Speaker 6: you know, a few mouths, or it could be a
- 57:11Speaker 6: mouse from a neighbor's house. You know, they got legs.
- 57:13Speaker 6: They travel anyway. Your husband got out the military chose
- 57:19Speaker 6: to settle down in the metropolitan area, which is known
- 57:22Speaker 6: to have mice and rats. Just want to point that out.
- 57:25Speaker 6: Metropolitan area. You know that it's called the city, y'all.
- 57:31Speaker 6: I don't know if you ever heard of this place
- 57:33Speaker 6: called New York.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Or Paris.
- 57:37Speaker 6: And get out there early in the morning and walk
- 57:39Speaker 6: to work and see what you see. When your friends
- 57:43Speaker 6: come to town, they always want to stay with us.
- 57:45Speaker 6: So my husband friend got out the military, came down
- 57:48Speaker 6: there and stayed with y'all. He got all types of
- 57:49Speaker 6: smells I've never experienced before. And then he said, because
- 57:53Speaker 6: your husband friend is in a holistic healing and all
- 57:57Speaker 6: different kinds of body alls. I told him, friend, we
- 58:00Speaker 6: believe in the Lord and we go to the hospital
- 58:02Speaker 6: when some I'm wrong. See right there, that's that old
- 58:05Speaker 6: closed mind thinking. There is nothing wrong with holistic healing.
- 58:11Speaker 6: There is a place for when you got to go
- 58:13Speaker 6: to the hospital. I'll give you example. If you fall
- 58:17Speaker 6: and break your arm, you got a carrio ass to
- 58:20Speaker 6: the hospital. You I don't know what you fin to
- 58:22Speaker 6: put some vinegar around your arm with a garlic cloth
- 58:26Speaker 6: on it and gingerbread are packed on it with wrapped
- 58:31Speaker 6: in a cabbage leaf. Your arms still gonna be broken.
- 58:35Speaker 6: There is a time to go to the hospital. But
- 58:38Speaker 6: there's a lot of holistic stuff that you can do
- 58:40Speaker 6: that's very very helpful for you. Nature is healing. But
- 58:44Speaker 6: you old school, so gay ass on down to the hospital. Now.
- 58:47Speaker 6: Remember when you get to the hospital, y'all, remember the
- 58:50Speaker 6: one thing. They are not into cures at the hospital.
- 58:54Speaker 6: They are into treatments. There's a difference. They are into treatments,
- 59:01Speaker 6: not cures. They make money off to you if the
- 59:05Speaker 6: hospital cured everybody, if doctors cured everybody, that would be
- 59:09Speaker 6: no more income. But they will treat you though, they'll
- 59:13Speaker 6: give you a peal. That's just a personal note. Now,
- 59:16Speaker 6: when I come back, I'm gonna tell you where I
- 59:18Speaker 6: think the damn rat came from.
- 59:21Speaker 1: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:27Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour of The
- 59:30Speaker 1: subject for today is it's between Me and the mouse.
- 59:33Speaker 1: And I want to thank my friend Carla for sending
- 59:35Speaker 1: me a meme of a mouse yesterday.
- 59:38Speaker 2: You're well, you know you did it.
- 59:40Speaker 3: You know you did it.
- 59:43Speaker 1: Back right after this you're listening.
- 59:46Speaker 12: Morning show.
- 59:47Speaker 1: All right, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subjects
- 59:50Speaker 1: is it's between me and the mouse.
- 59:55Speaker 6: Well, we got this lady that's got a husband that's
- 59:57Speaker 6: in the military, and they have people staying at the
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: house from time to time. And the husband's friend is
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: staying over from military and he's in the holistic healing
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: and he got a lot of oils and body stuff
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: and smells that's coming from the room that he's staying at.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: But the problem is not that they are. They got
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: into a bigger argument about his holistic stuff. And she
- 1:00:19Speaker 6: told him we know the Lord and we go to
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: the hospital when something wrong. Okay, well, okay, that's an
- 1:00:26Speaker 6: argument that can be had. I understand both sides. Problem is,
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: you saw a mouse, a little black thing that ran
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: real fast from his room. All right, Now, Smells can
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: attract rodents, Smells attract flies. The flies is coming. Odors
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: attract insects and rodents. That could be where the rodent
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: came from. I doubt very sick if anybody's traveling with
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: a with a mouse in their pocket, or I out
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: if anybody's got a mouse in their.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Luggage in their pocket. I just think the rat came
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: in the house.
- 1:01:12Speaker 6: Now, it could have came in there because of the smells,
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: the sudden, weird smells. That's why he could have come
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: into your house. You don't know, but you're blaming this man,
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: and now you want the man to go. Your husband say,
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: you're overreacted. What got y'all was you was in the
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: shower with your husband handling your business. You saw something
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: black on the floor, run real fast. You say, you
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: need glasses, and your husband got perfect vision, so you
- 1:01:40Speaker 6: know he saw it. He probably did but I'm gonna
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: tell you we as men, when we see something wrong
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: at the house, we be quiet. We're not gonna run
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: that flag up the pole. We don't go, oh wow,
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: there here's a mouse in here drags. We just handle
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: it because no need of making this no bigger than
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: it is. He could have seen the mouse. But what
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: I don't understand is why are we still writing about
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: the damn mouse?
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Though?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Because it's a mouse in the house.
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: What you get rid of that mouse so fast? Let
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: me give you my experience.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Upset about this, I'm not.
- 1:02:25Speaker 6: I promise you in three days you won't see no
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: trace of mouse. First of all, they have this item
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: out called decon. Open it up, you tag the package.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: It has an aroma that attracts rotors. They eat the road,
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: they eat it. The stuff in the decon makes the
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: mouse thirsty. It creates a thirst. Then they go to
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: wherever they water source is licking water off a condensation
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: pipe or a leak or something, and they go get
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: some water.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: Once they get the water, the water blows them up
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: and they Okay.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: So now they have old fashioned stuff like mouse traps.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: Put a piece of meat and cheese on it. Pam
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: shut him down, crack him in half. Now you got
- 1:03:10Speaker 6: to do discuss and picking him up. My favorite is
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: the mouse trap, the glue trap. I like it when
- 1:03:15Speaker 6: they get stuck on there and they be hollering. Then
- 1:03:17Speaker 6: their friends come out to see what's wrong.
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: When they.
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: Try to help, they just ass is stuck on the two.
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: I love him glue traps. There's so many ways to
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: get rid of that. You could buy a cat. I
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: trust me, in two days, the damn mouse is gone.
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: Cats don't miss the hats. Don't miss the mouse is
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: not the problem. The real problem is you don't like
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: the man. Y'all had a big ass argument and now
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: you want the man gone. Now them alls that youre
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: smelling that you see, Like, I knew this dude in
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: New York. He was a musk oil salesman and every
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: time I be walking down the street in New York
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: and Harlem, stay, what's up? A cool dude man? I
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: loved him and I would buy oars from him and everything.
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: But you're not really I'm not. I don't like them
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: alls on the street like that.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: That, ain't you know?
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: I like?
- 1:04:10Speaker 6: I like my smell coming from a counter inside the departments.
- 1:04:16Speaker 6: I don't want to smell like a clothes you know,
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: driftwood log. You know, I don't want to smell like
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: fern old mouse, because when you put that on, you
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: just smell like a whole last person. It's like when
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: you go over your grandmama's house and walk in the house,
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: and whole house smell like mouth balls. But it ain't
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: a moth in that there, and it ain't none of
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: they clothes got holes in it. I don't know why
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: I'm going with this. I just said, Hey, if you
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: want to get rid of the mouse, you can get
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: rid of the mouse. But where the mouse ain't the problem?
- 1:04:52Speaker 6: You don't like the man. The man is over there
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: and you don't like him. So long.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: He'd be there till till his friends, the military friend.
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: They probably got shot together.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Something life or something breath.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: I can read a whole story. He saved my life.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: Make up a.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: Store, all right, leave your comments on today to the bunker.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: He pulled in and threw it back out, saved our life.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: He got to stay here on Instagram or face. He's
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: been here a long time Instagram or Facebook.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: And Steve Harvey he had to save my life. I
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: wouldn't even be here.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I got the Strawberry Letter podcast on the free iHeartRadio
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: app coming up next to his Junior and Sports Talk
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening.
- 1:05:41Speaker 12: Morning show.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: It is time now for Junior and Sports Talk? What
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: you got, Junior?
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: I can't do without my board man, Pamp. You can't listen.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: What's up?
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Ladies? Hey, Pamping?
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: What's going on?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Monica Way?
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Baby?
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: They ain't letting you talk today because you know your
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: little line went out. But I still on my mind. No,
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: I don't worry about it. Was up?
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: Players?
- 1:06:10Speaker 14: Was up?
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: Junior?

- 1:06:15Speaker 2: it in and.

- 1:06:56Speaker 2: Okay, ooh, Pippy, this is a game right here.
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: Man.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Saints and Cowboys.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Oh who that man?
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: The Cowboys just beat the brown Land weigh but the
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: Saints showed up.
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: Man, they may be a little more shocking then you
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: can see.
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: Upset Saints.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: Come right.
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Here we go, Pivot Giants.

- 1:07:59Speaker 3: Cardinals.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Upset Cardinals. Okay, Stealers Broncos.
- 1:08:05Speaker 6: That's gonna hurt me. Stealers run again. They're gonna get
- 1:08:08Speaker 6: too fun in front of the Browns. But they can't
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: beat them Broncos though, So I'm going.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: With the Steelers, Bingals chiefs man, let's stop this here.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Vas Texas, Oh.

- 1:09:01Speaker 6: on the phone.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: We miss him on the radio. We miss his ignorance.
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: Most of all, his bitterness, the fact that he's just
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: unhappy most of the time. He has a drained sense
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: of humor. Everything that's going right is probably going wrong.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: And that's how he views the world. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: A legend of radio, a legend from radio shows far
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: and wide. Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome back to the Steve
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: Harvey Morning Show, to the one.
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: And the only bitter man, Jay Anthony Brown.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 1:09:56Speaker 14: Let me just say this, if you ever find out
- 1:09:59Speaker 14: I'm happy, something is wrong with me. If you said,
- 1:10:05Speaker 14: if you hear what Jay was real happy and rumbucks.
- 1:10:08Speaker 14: Yes today, then he is very sick because I'm not.
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: I try not.
- 1:10:13Speaker 14: I do my best not to be happy, and.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: You know I try to.
- 1:10:19Speaker 14: Keep happiness down inside of me. It'll come up from
- 1:10:24Speaker 14: time to time. Well, let me tell you what I've
- 1:10:26Speaker 14: been doing. I know you've been wondering what this week Well,

- 1:10:35Speaker 14: the d n C Charlotte North Carolina. We had guest
- 1:10:38Speaker 14: speakers for.
- 1:10:39Speaker 2: The d NC.
- 1:10:40Speaker 14: That was yeah, it was in Chicago.
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: No no, no, no, no, no, not that d n C.
- 1:10:49Speaker 14: The divorced Negro contentions.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: No, my man, Amla.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Harris was not there.
- 1:11:02Speaker 14: No, Tamala Harris was not None of them people dead.
- 1:11:06Speaker 14: We had an outstanding list of speakers this weekend. Ty
- 1:11:10Speaker 14: Reese was there crying for hours, unbelievable. He took the
- 1:11:17Speaker 14: podium and he never stopped crying. But then, but then
- 1:11:21Speaker 14: we had a guest speaker who's not divorced. But he
- 1:11:24Speaker 14: foke anyway, Judge matthis, Oh my god, I'm wrong.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Let me just say that's wrong for that.
- 1:11:36Speaker 14: Let me just say he's your friend.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: He ain't mine. He's your friend.
- 1:11:42Speaker 14: Yeah, he's not my friend. Okay, okay, Well let me
- 1:11:48Speaker 14: let me tell you what else I'm doing. I'm opening
- 1:11:50Speaker 14: a che I'm opening a chain of ten second taxology
- 1:11:55Speaker 14: clinics all around the world, all around and high in
- 1:12:00Speaker 14: the world.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: You can second.
- 1:12:02Speaker 14: I don't know because Tommy when Tommy, when I heard
- 1:12:06Speaker 14: you say that, I tried to call in and you know,
- 1:12:08Speaker 14: because I'm seeing Tommy one hundred percent, you know, but
- 1:12:12Speaker 14: I was on the shore and you were so far
- 1:12:15Speaker 14: out in the seat that I couldn't get that.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: Hey, Jay, you're talking about what Tommy said he went
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: to the prostate examines.
- 1:12:25Speaker 14: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what. You know,
- 1:12:33Speaker 14: you see the cruise ships say way out, There's no

- 1:19:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, Here we are our last break of

- 1:19:10Speaker 1: at the City Runner read this weekend in Atlanta. And Tommy,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: before we do get to the closing, you have a
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: special shout out.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: Happy birthday to my baby girl tomorrow she turns twenty
- 1:19:20Speaker 8: years old, Sydney and my my baby, my baby girl.
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: Smartest one, smartest one in the house is seth.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: Boys. That's what Lord, it ain't all right?
- 1:19:37Speaker 6: See hey, y'all, you know, listen this song. This election
- 1:19:44Speaker 6: is important. You know, I'm hearing so many things. Tommy
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: made a good point earlier. You know they say that
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: Kamala Harris is ahead in the polls, but you have
- 1:19:53Speaker 6: to be aware of the way they work that a
- 1:19:56Speaker 6: lot of times they throw out these numbers in that
- 1:19:58Speaker 6: they meant to being so far ahead so they can
- 1:20:01Speaker 6: create complacency within us. Do you don't understand that they
- 1:20:06Speaker 6: target us constantly when it comes to voting. Do you
- 1:20:11Speaker 6: see that happening to any other people? Do you see
- 1:20:16Speaker 6: voter suppression happening to any other people? They design things
- 1:20:23Speaker 6: specifically to keep us away from the polls. They close
- 1:20:28Speaker 6: the polling places in our neighborhoods, They remove mail boxes
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: in our neighborhoods. They trying to figure out how to
- 1:20:39Speaker 6: counter the absentee balance. They're trying to find a way
- 1:20:43Speaker 6: to stop all this early voting. They create as much
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: chaos confusion as they possibly can to make the voting
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: process difficult for you. And it's always targeted to us.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: Do you understand why that is. I'm gonna tell you why.
- 1:21:02Speaker 6: Because they know they know that if we use our
- 1:21:07Speaker 6: power as a voting block, that we will affect the election,
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: just like we did before. The reason Biden beat Trump
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: before was because we went to the polls as a
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: voting block. Let me tell you something. Pennsylvania is a
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: swing state. You can believe that Whisconsin is a swing state.
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: Georgia is a swing state. It's now this used to
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: be red red red red red. It's now a swing state.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: And you know why it's a swing state in Georgia
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: because of Stacy Abrams. Because of her concerted effort, the
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: voting machine that Stacy Abrams put into power, put into
- 1:21:54Speaker 6: all into intermotion. We benefited from that. I'm not gonna
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: forget what Stacy Abrams did in Georgia. She is the
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: reason Georgia turned blue last time. I don't know if
- 1:22:08Speaker 6: you notice it, but Donald Trump got on the phone
- 1:22:11Speaker 6: and called the director of the voter Registration whatever title
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: to do, had to ask him to find eleven hundred
- 1:22:20Speaker 6: votes so he could overturn that. And do you know
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: where he where those eleven hundred votes came from. Came
- 1:22:28Speaker 6: from Fuller County, came from Cobb County, came from Gwenett County.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: You know where we live there. Do you understand, man,
- 1:22:39Speaker 6: why they constantly try to suppress our vote. If we
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: had not showed up at the polls, he would have
- 1:22:44Speaker 6: beat Biden in Georgia. If we hadn't showed up in Philly,
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: he would have won in Philly. If Detroit hadn't showed up,
- 1:22:53Speaker 6: would they would have won? If Milwaukee hadn't showed up,
- 1:22:55Speaker 6: they would have won. I'm telling y'all, we are the
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: key to this whole thing. Stop listening to these other
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: people who are supposed to be one of us telling
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: you why you don't need to vote. As long as
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: you show up, you can prove that you have power.
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: I don't understand to sit it out until somebody give
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: us something. If you sit out the vote, do you
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: understand who becomes president. What do you think he's gonna
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: do for you? Name me one thing that Trump has
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: done for blacks. If you are a black for Trump,
- 1:23:34Speaker 6: I can't tell you nothing he's done for blacks. But
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: I can tell you something he's done to blacks. Him
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: and his father was found guilty of keeping black people
- 1:23:45Speaker 6: out of their properties. And when Kamala Harris brought that
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: up at the debate, he had no counter for that.
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: He just let that go.
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: He also had to let go when she brought up
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: that He put in a full page ad to convict
- 1:23:58Speaker 6: these five innocent black young men for a crime they
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: didn't commit. Five He wanted the death penalty, he wanted everything.
- 1:24:06Speaker 6: It just looked over there and said they was black.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: They did it.
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: It wasn't no, wasn't no innocent til found guilty. He
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: just no, they black, they did it. We don't want
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: them black people in our buildings. I can show you
- 1:24:17Speaker 6: what Donald Trump has done to blacks. I'm still waiting
- 1:24:21Speaker 6: on you to show me what Donald Trump has done
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: for blacks. So if you were blacks for Trump, just
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: show me. Why stop this foolishness about not going to
- 1:24:31Speaker 6: the poles. All these people Steve Harvey, you shouldn't be
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: sending black people to the poles. We don't have no
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: obligation to go to the polls.
- 1:24:39Speaker 2: I showed.
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: Wish you tell that to your grandfather who was getting
- 1:24:44Speaker 6: fire hose and German shepherds and mace trying to vote.
- 1:24:47Speaker 6: I wish you could tell them when they was lynched
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: for trying to go to the poles, so they could
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: be a part of sitting at the table. You got
- 1:24:53Speaker 6: to pull your chair up to the table. If you
- 1:24:56Speaker 6: want to determine what's on the menu, you got to
- 1:24:58Speaker 6: be at the tablet the vote.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: Y'all. Kamala has for president nine now now Steve Trump,
- 1:25:04Speaker 2: chump Trump jump chump, you're wrong for that. You do
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: not know. This man cares nothing about the common man.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: He just don't. All right, we got to vote, y'all, brothers,
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: we're showing up at the polls for this woman, period.
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:25:19Speaker 6: Those are my close remarks today. Hey, y'all, do yourself
- 1:25:22Speaker 6: a favor. Talk to God today. He would absolutely love
- 1:25:25Speaker 6: to hear from you. And it don't matter if you
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: don't talk to him in a while. He's just waiting.
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: He's on standby. Have a relationship with him, Hey man,
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: y'all have a great weekend. Okay, god will I won't
