- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things, and it's too good together to please.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me. You turn, you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. You got to turn out to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come, come on your thing, huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall well a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now one it only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. I was talking with
- 2:13Speaker 1: my wife and she said something her father always used
- 2:15Speaker 1: to tell her, just because you can do something don't
- 2:19Speaker 1: mean you should do it. I can't tell you how
- 2:21Speaker 1: many times I've had to learn that in my life.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You know, just because you can do something does not
- 2:27Speaker 1: necessarily mean you should do it. I could tell people
- 2:31Speaker 1: off oftentimes, but it don't mean I should do it.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I could go here and set the record straight a
- 2:38Speaker 1: lot of times, but it don't mean I should do it. Well,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I've learned a lot in that lesson, folks, And because
- 2:49Speaker 1: I have a relationship with my creator, what it's done
- 2:52Speaker 1: is it's allowed me to learn even more how to
- 2:56Speaker 1: stay still on a lot of issues. That's troubling me.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I've learned it the hard way. I do want you
- 3:02Speaker 1: to understand that that sometimes it's better to be still.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Sometimes it's better to just let God handle a situation. Now.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I know it's hard to say because we think as people,
- 3:12Speaker 1: but if I do this, I would feel better. If
- 3:16Speaker 1: I do this now, they're feel how I feel. See,
- 3:20Speaker 1: But that's not always the best way though. I found
- 3:23Speaker 1: in my life. Sometimes you gotta like old people used
- 3:26Speaker 1: to say, you gotta let go and let God. I'm
- 3:29Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, man, I learned a lot from
- 3:31Speaker 1: my mother being a Sunday school teacher. But you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: at the same time, when she was when I was young,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I thought she was just an old, old person just
- 3:37Speaker 1: talking to me. I didn't get it. You know how
- 3:39Speaker 1: your parents used to talk to you and you didn't
- 3:42Speaker 1: get it, and they used to always say, well wait
- 3:44Speaker 1: till you have your own kids. You would get it
- 3:45Speaker 1: then and showing off you got it then. Well, I'm
- 3:48Speaker 1: the same way. I'm no different. You know. I don't
- 3:50Speaker 1: have no different life than you. You know, don't have
- 3:52Speaker 1: no different upbringing than you. I don't have no different
- 3:54Speaker 1: ways that I can live and you can't. You know
- 3:57Speaker 1: that I gotta live by the same laws of the land.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You gotta live a boy, I gotta obey the principles
- 4:02Speaker 1: of success. If I want to be successful. I got
- 4:04Speaker 1: a bamp and you know, and if I want to
- 4:06Speaker 1: go to heaven, I gotta do what God tell me
- 4:08Speaker 1: to do as many times as I can. Now, you
- 4:10Speaker 1: ain't gonna get it at all, right, but he understand that,
- 4:13Speaker 1: and I just get on with the best I can.
- 4:15Speaker 1: But so many times, man, we get stuck right theamn
- 4:20Speaker 1: man worrying about you know, how it's gonna come across
- 4:23Speaker 1: and what you know, I'm you know, I'm kind of
- 4:26Speaker 1: going around here because I'm trying to find a way
- 4:28Speaker 1: to tell you this that you won't get twisted. The
- 4:31Speaker 1: bottom line, you gotta let go and let God. You
- 4:35Speaker 1: have to allow him to do it his way. See,
- 4:38Speaker 1: I thought myself to a certain point, but to go further,
- 4:41Speaker 1: I had to let God have it. I found out
- 4:44Speaker 1: I wasn't all that good a driver. I found out
- 4:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't all that good of all explore with a map.
- 4:51Speaker 1: So I had to let go. I had to let God.
- 4:53Speaker 1: And you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways.
- 4:56Speaker 1: How often had. I thought it was over for me.
- 5:00Speaker 1: But what God was doing was he was teaching me
- 5:02Speaker 1: a lesson. He was showing me something that I needed
- 5:05Speaker 1: to know. He was allowing me to experience something. But
- 5:08Speaker 1: he didn't let me go under. You know how they
- 5:10Speaker 1: say God had never put more on you than you
- 5:12Speaker 1: can baar, He won't let you go under you know.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's like the scripture that Bishop Olmer taught me when
- 5:18Speaker 1: I was going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man,
- 5:20Speaker 1: it was really really man trying to destroy what I
- 5:23Speaker 1: had worked for and my family and this new life
- 5:26Speaker 1: to God had presented me. And the devil is busy.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The devil don't like to see you happy. So here
- 5:30Speaker 1: he comes. He puts you under attack, and here comes
- 5:33Speaker 1: internet and everything, and my kids are suffering, but you know,
- 5:37Speaker 1: here comes God. Though see, God don't put more on
- 5:39Speaker 1: you than you can bad. Bishop Almah sent me a scripture.
- 5:43Speaker 1: He sent me Isaiah forty three one and two. And
- 5:46Speaker 1: then that scripture it says to the effect that you
- 5:50Speaker 1: can walk through the water of the rivers and the
- 5:53Speaker 1: water won't overcome you. But then it said you can
- 5:56Speaker 1: walk through the fire and you will not get burned
- 6:00Speaker 1: nor will kindling set upon your clothing. I learned something
- 6:04Speaker 1: very valuable that day. See, God sent me through something,
- 6:08Speaker 1: but he was showing me something too. Now he didn't
- 6:11Speaker 1: do it. God didn't bring that calamity into my life
- 6:14Speaker 1: because in Isaiah fifty four seventeen it says clearly that
- 6:18Speaker 1: if anyone comes against you, it will not be my doing. Now,
- 6:22Speaker 1: this is what he promised you. When people come for you,
- 6:25Speaker 1: don't seeing. This is what I learned. That's why I
- 6:27Speaker 1: have no fear of the people coming anymore because I
- 6:30Speaker 1: learned that. But God had to send me through a
- 6:32Speaker 1: traumatic experience in order for me to learn that. You
- 6:36Speaker 1: can't have a testimony without a test You know what
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm staying. You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So
- 6:41Speaker 1: what he did was he allowed that internet thing crossed
- 6:44Speaker 1: into my life, but he taught me something. And Isaiah
- 6:47Speaker 1: forty three one and two was and you could walk
- 6:50Speaker 1: through the fire and not get burned, nor wi kindling
- 6:52Speaker 1: set upon your clothing. So what that said to me was,
- 6:56Speaker 1: even though you trying to do me and it's fire
- 6:59Speaker 1: all around me, I won't burn. But when it's over,
- 7:02Speaker 1: kindlin won't set upon your clothing. What that showed me
- 7:05Speaker 1: was not only would I walk through the fine not
- 7:08Speaker 1: get burned, but there would be no signs that I
- 7:11Speaker 1: was ever in the fire. There's no signs of it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: But now hold up, though, now he go apart, though
- 7:17Speaker 1: that I had to learn, even though you can walk
- 7:20Speaker 1: through the fire, y'all, and even though you're being flames
- 7:23Speaker 1: and scorching all around you, if you trust him, he
- 7:25Speaker 1: ain't gonna let you burn. But now hear what he
- 7:27Speaker 1: did not say. Though he did not say that it
- 7:31Speaker 1: was not going to be uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there,
- 7:37Speaker 1: He can't say that. He just said you won't burn,
- 7:40Speaker 1: and when it's over, it won't be no signs that
- 7:42Speaker 1: you was in the fire. See what happened to me
- 7:44Speaker 1: was after they tried to destroy me, let me show
- 7:47Speaker 1: you what God did from it. Not only did they
- 7:49Speaker 1: not accomplish what they set out to do, but when
- 7:52Speaker 1: they was through with me, though, when they was through
- 7:54Speaker 1: throwing the gas and throwing the fire, throwing their hate
- 7:58Speaker 1: and writing it in line, and creating all these names
- 8:02Speaker 1: for themselves so it could look like more people was hating.
- 8:04Speaker 1: When they got through with all that, man, look what
- 8:07Speaker 1: he did to me look what he did fun me
- 8:10Speaker 1: because he taught me something that day, and I'm sharing
- 8:13Speaker 1: it with you because God will do the same thing
- 8:15Speaker 1: for you. But you gotta trust him though. You got
- 8:18Speaker 1: to get in there and you got to let him
- 8:20Speaker 1: do it. You gotta let him handle it. So, just
- 8:22Speaker 1: like Pop Bridges taught my wife Margie, just because you
- 8:25Speaker 1: can do something, don't mean y'all to do something. Yeah
- 8:28Speaker 1: you could go down there and straighten the mouth. But
- 8:29Speaker 1: should you though, Yeah, you can go down there and
- 8:32Speaker 1: tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand up
- 8:34Speaker 1: and make sure they know it's your voice that they're hearing.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And you can get in their face and make a scene.
- 8:39Speaker 1: But should you though, or should you let go and
- 8:43Speaker 1: let God? So before we run all out in the
- 8:45Speaker 1: streets and somebody go out there and do something crazy,
- 8:48Speaker 1: let's hold tight. Now. I'm not saying don't go out there,
- 8:51Speaker 1: but you gotta watch who you go out there with.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But you can go down there with peace in your heart.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Somebody deside I'm gonna throw a brick through here and
- 8:57Speaker 1: bust a wonder. Hold up, partner, hold on thing what
- 9:00Speaker 1: we're down here doing. So see, sometimes man, you gotta
- 9:03Speaker 1: let go and you gotta let God. You gotta let
- 9:05Speaker 1: God have a situation sometimes and you get it in
- 9:07Speaker 1: and do the things that He tells you to do.
- 9:10Speaker 1: See Bishop woman and taught me a lot. He had
- 9:12Speaker 1: another book out and he said, you know, knowing God's
- 9:15Speaker 1: Voice or something like that. I'm not sure the title,
- 9:17Speaker 1: but I never really knew the definition of how do
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know as God's voice talking to you? Well, he
- 9:24Speaker 1: clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin in it.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Whenever you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm gonna show him,
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm gonna get him back. If it's sin in it,
- 9:34Speaker 1: God ain't in it. See thats you now, God's voice
- 9:38Speaker 1: has no sin in it. So when you say God
- 9:41Speaker 1: told me, be careful because God ain't never told you
- 9:45Speaker 1: to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what he told you.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And I learned that too. It's a lot. So I'm
- 9:51Speaker 1: just sharing to day. I hope it helps somebody today
- 9:54Speaker 1: get through a difficult time because the show has helped me.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, I have some news for you. I've
- 10:06Speaker 1: given you this news before, but it gives me such
- 10:09Speaker 1: pleasure to present it to you, especially when a God
- 10:12Speaker 1: allows me to give you the message. It's morning time.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It's a new day. Those of us that are just
- 10:20Speaker 1: waking are waking up. This is the new gift from God.
- 10:23Speaker 1: If you're just getting off your shift, if you're getting in,
- 10:27Speaker 1: that's another gift. You made it. If you're locked up
- 10:30Speaker 1: and you can hear me, you're still here, you made it.
- 10:34Speaker 1: God ain't through with you yet. He forgot about you.
- 10:36Speaker 1: He loves you. Might need your attention on a few things,
- 10:39Speaker 1: but he's got different ways of getting our attention. He
- 10:42Speaker 1: has grabbed mine several times. Oh yes he has. Yes,
- 10:48Speaker 1: he has had my undivided attention. Oh you know what
- 10:54Speaker 1: I've really learned from that. It's best to listen and
- 10:57Speaker 1: just do. Try to do the best you can with
- 11:00Speaker 1: what he said. When you totally ignore him and he
- 11:03Speaker 1: know you know better, he gets your attention, especially when
- 11:07Speaker 1: he know you want to his and you know you
- 11:09Speaker 1: want to his, he don't. He got a way into
- 11:12Speaker 1: getting your attention. Ladies. Jennifer Sherley Strawberry callin for real
- 11:15Speaker 1: Monica Bonds out of Missussippi Kill Space. That's Junior and
- 11:21Speaker 1: the man who's got most stuff going on than anybody
- 11:26Speaker 1: on this damn show. The legend himself. Mister, I got
- 11:31Speaker 1: a heart out now you Tommy, here we go, Junior.
- 11:38Speaker 1: What you got on your mind? Man? Oh you legendary Kega,
- 11:42Speaker 1: comed hosts of Family Feud, Judge, everything else or that.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Any more titles you're trying to grab? You got him all? Well,
- 11:53Speaker 1: there's a couple of them that I'm looking forward to getting.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Heaven Bound is right at the top of the heaven bound.
- 12:01Speaker 1: I really want that to be a heavy consideration. I
- 12:06Speaker 1: want to be also when I get heaven bound, I
- 12:09Speaker 1: want to be at the front of the Hey lord,
- 12:14Speaker 1: you know, I was just joking. Line. I want to
- 12:17Speaker 1: I want even have a line for them people because
- 12:20Speaker 1: because I definitely I got to be in there. Hey lord,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know I was just joking. Line. A couple of
- 12:27Speaker 1: the titles I'd like to have kind of some stuff out.
- 12:32Speaker 1: More of all, I want to spread all good news globally.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't know what that title is yet, but I
- 12:40Speaker 1: wish spread good news globally. I kind of want to
- 12:46Speaker 1: start up a defense uh you know how you have
- 12:51Speaker 1: defensive driving courses you can take to me and Tommy
- 12:54Speaker 1: had started this a while back organization called ride down
- 12:57Speaker 1: that dot Com and I think we need to bring
- 13:00Speaker 1: that back for those that are incapable of defending themselves. Yeah, oh,
- 13:06Speaker 1: we need to have an organization. Me and Tommy had started,
- 13:09Speaker 1: and I think we need to bring that back. What
- 13:13Speaker 1: is ride down there? Dot com woman? Yeah? Go ahead,
- 13:18Speaker 1: tom and I was trying to find a professional way
- 13:20Speaker 1: to see him. Ain't no way to clean it up
- 13:22Speaker 1: and who it is? Like? If we just want to
- 13:26Speaker 1: have called us last Sunday been on, it would have
- 13:29Speaker 1: been done. Probably would have jumped off at the party
- 13:31Speaker 1: while he was We had that oscar in his hand,
- 13:33Speaker 1: laughing laugh. All right, Tommy up a thirty two minutes
- 13:38Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna start the show off with nephew.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Tommy's run that prank back right after this. You're listening
- 13:45Speaker 1: to show. Time to start your morning off with the
- 13:49Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back? What you got for us? Enough?
- 13:53Speaker 1: I got you ain't married? Okay, take it just like that.
- 13:58Speaker 1: You ain't a man. I don't know what happened, but
- 14:01Speaker 1: it didn't go right, but you ain't married. Let's go Hello, Hello,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Brian. Yeah, how you doing, Brian?
- 14:09Speaker 1: My name is Daniel. I wanted to give you a
- 14:11Speaker 1: call today. You got a minute? Yeah, okay, listen, Um,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you're you're Brian, um, Brian, right, you're married to uh
- 14:20Speaker 1: to Alfia? Yeah? Hello, hello, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's me.
- 14:25Speaker 1: That's my wife's Yeah. Okay, got a question for you. Hello.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Have you guys been married? Going on nine years? Now?
- 14:32Speaker 1: We've been married? Now? Who is this? My name is Daniel?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Were you um? Were you guys married a Greater New
- 14:40Speaker 1: Missionary Baptist Church un the Sea. Yeah yeah, yep, yep,
- 14:44Speaker 1: that's the name of that church. Yeah, great, by nine years? Yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 1: that's right. Why what's going on? Let's ask me all
- 14:50Speaker 1: these questions. Fuck, okay, do you remember the minister that
- 14:54Speaker 1: officiated your actual wedding ceremony? Yeah? Uh right, yeah, okay,
- 15:01Speaker 1: I got the right person. I wanted to make sure
- 15:03Speaker 1: I had the right person, Brian. So I'm I'm sorry
- 15:06Speaker 1: if it seemed a little weird to you. Here's here's
- 15:09Speaker 1: what's going on. We've just come up with a new
- 15:12Speaker 1: discovery a lot of information that Reverend none of his
- 15:17Speaker 1: credentials are true. Everything is false. He's not a minister
- 15:22Speaker 1: at all, he never was a minister, and every single
- 15:26Speaker 1: wedding ceremony that he officiated is basically null and void.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So and I hate to be the bearer of bad news,
- 15:35Speaker 1: but you and Alphea, even though you think you've been
- 15:38Speaker 1: married for nine years, you guys are not married. No,
- 15:42Speaker 1: no, no no, no, no no no. You gotta have the wrong person.
- 15:47Speaker 1: We got married by nine years ago. And what I'm
- 15:54Speaker 1: telling you is he he never was ordained. He's never
- 15:58Speaker 1: been an ordained minister. He's not a minister at all.
- 16:01Speaker 1: So when he performed this ceremony, you're a wedding ceremony.
- 16:04Speaker 1: He had no right to be doing that. You guys
- 16:06Speaker 1: are not are not married. You know, you guys have
- 16:09Speaker 1: been living in sin for nine years. Hold on, hold
- 16:13Speaker 1: on that. Let me tell you something. I ain't been
- 16:14Speaker 1: living no man and my wife we have been married
- 16:17Speaker 1: for nine years. And that man he's a preacher. I'm
- 16:20Speaker 1: telling he's a preacher. I'm preach Grand Sunday Sir. As
- 16:24Speaker 1: of today, he has no right to be in anybody's pulpit.
- 16:27Speaker 1: He has no right to be officiating, whether it's weddings
- 16:30Speaker 1: or funerals, no matter what it is, christenings for children.
- 16:33Speaker 1: He's not allowed to do that. And we have officially
- 16:36Speaker 1: stopped him from doing anything serving under as being a
- 16:41Speaker 1: pastor or a minister. We have stopped at But what
- 16:44Speaker 1: I want you to know is that you have been
- 16:46Speaker 1: living in sin and you don't. We want to try
- 16:50Speaker 1: and get you guys married as soon as possible, so
- 16:53Speaker 1: you're not living in sin. Oh now, doc, I have
- 16:55Speaker 1: been living in no sin. I have been married for
- 16:58Speaker 1: nine years. This one ship been taking care of me
- 17:01Speaker 1: and my kids for the past Wait. Wait, wait a minute,
- 17:04Speaker 1: wait a minute. You guys have children. Yeah, yeah, we
- 17:07Speaker 1: got two, two kids, two beautiful kids. Okay, then those
- 17:10Speaker 1: kids are bastards. Bastards, hud On. Let me tell you something.
- 17:14Speaker 1: My kids ain't no bastards. What about your kids? Your
- 17:16Speaker 1: kids in basketts? No, sir, my kid My kids were
- 17:18Speaker 1: born in wedlock. Your kids have been born out. I'm
- 17:22Speaker 1: telling you Batman did my service. And he is a preacher.
- 17:27Speaker 1: He's a man after God's own heart himself. He hasn't
- 17:31Speaker 1: done everything that he could for me and my family.
- 17:33Speaker 1: He is a preacher, So I don't. I know it's
- 17:36Speaker 1: hard for you to to to swallow the truth, but
- 17:39Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I need you to
- 17:40Speaker 1: be able to tell out feel that you guys are
- 17:42Speaker 1: not married and not as of right now now. No, okay,
- 17:46Speaker 1: So now, back in the olden days, but before all
- 17:51Speaker 1: these all these colleges and stuff came came about, you
- 17:53Speaker 1: telling me that they're men making old days, that they
- 17:56Speaker 1: weren't no preachers, that they wasn't meant men after the clough.
- 18:00Speaker 1: What you're saying to me, what are you getting at, sir?
- 18:02Speaker 1: What I'm trying to say is back in the older day,
- 18:04Speaker 1: back in the twenties and thirties, they didn't have all
- 18:06Speaker 1: these colleges and all these degrees and stuff like these
- 18:09Speaker 1: new preachers got these days that man now he was
- 18:12Speaker 1: from back then, and God called them and that's what
- 18:15Speaker 1: they went on to. And all them people that they
- 18:17Speaker 1: married back then, they did the same thing to day.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You don't need no degreed to say that you're a preacher.
- 18:22Speaker 1: You don't need no lights to say you're a preacher. Man,
- 18:25Speaker 1: My wife would have been mad for nine years. My
- 18:27Speaker 1: kids have been born in wedlock. We were married, we
- 18:31Speaker 1: were mad. I've read my friends and family. Day was
- 18:34Speaker 1: all there, sir. The bottom line is that that you
- 18:36Speaker 1: have been living in sin because you have not been
- 18:39Speaker 1: married with your wife for the last nine years. And
- 18:42Speaker 1: your kids. I hate to say it, your kids are
- 18:45Speaker 1: bastards now o. Now I've told you, don't say nothing

- 21:36Speaker 1: This one is from Ruthie in Puerto Rico. Ruthie writes,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I recently retired and moved to Paradise. I was dating
- 21:44Speaker 1: a man for four years and he didn't want to
- 21:46Speaker 1: come with me, so I cut him loose. Now he's
- 21:49Speaker 1: calling and he wants to be with me. I met
- 21:52Speaker 1: someone new, but I do still love my ex. Do
- 21:55Speaker 1: I give him another chance? Or do I move forward
- 21:58Speaker 1: and make a fresh start here? What is paradise Puerto Rico? Poco? Yeah, Oh,
- 22:09Speaker 1: I don't know, ma'am. I don't know. See if you left,
- 22:13Speaker 1: if you left simply because he didn't want to move
- 22:16Speaker 1: to Puerto Rico, you know, then I may. I mean,
- 22:20Speaker 1: he didn't do nothing wrong, He wasn't a bad guy, y'all,
- 22:22Speaker 1: wasn't having issues. He just didn't want to go to
- 22:24Speaker 1: Puerto Rico. Now he's had a change of heart. Uh,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you know you still love him. I mean, if he
- 22:31Speaker 1: wasn't abusive, mean, if y'all weren't on the verge of
- 22:33Speaker 1: breaking up and this was a strata broke the camel's back.
- 22:36Speaker 1: But you've met somebody new and you want to start fresh.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I can't answer the question for you, you know. But now,
- 22:42Speaker 1: if he was your ex for a different reason that
- 22:45Speaker 1: you're not putting in the letter, then let him stay
- 22:47Speaker 1: your ex. But you know you just met this guy.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Everything good in the beginning, Everything good in the beginning, Okay,
- 22:56Speaker 1: all right, might want to check his pass port. He
- 22:59Speaker 1: might not be able to lead the country, might have
- 23:01Speaker 1: an issue or something. You just saying yea, who her man,
- 23:08Speaker 1: But perto Rico is still in the United States, so well,
- 23:13Speaker 1: I don't know all that. I don't know. Well, I
- 23:15Speaker 1: was just trying to point that out casing some kids
- 23:19Speaker 1: in the car listening. Learned that in school, and you
- 23:22Speaker 1: just defunct that whole idea. You got to check his
- 23:27Speaker 1: pass pody to see if he needs all right, um,
- 23:33Speaker 1: moving on to Kamika and Savannah Kamika. Right time, a
- 23:38Speaker 1: forty year old married realtor and my husband popped up
- 23:41Speaker 1: while I was showing a retired football player at home.
- 23:44Speaker 1: He said it was He said it was a coincidence
- 23:47Speaker 1: that he was in the same area and when he
- 23:49Speaker 1: saw my car, he stopped by. He asked my client
- 23:53Speaker 1: for a selfie and an autograph. So how do I
- 23:56Speaker 1: address him being a groupie? M No matter, Well that
- 24:01Speaker 1: ain't that ain't being a groupie. You know what groupie
- 24:07Speaker 1: groupies groupies want to have more than just a picture
- 24:12Speaker 1: with the celebrity. Let me help you understand that he's
- 24:16Speaker 1: a football fan. You know, It's like if I'm you know,
- 24:19Speaker 1: I got pictures with a lot of players and the
- 24:21Speaker 1: stuff I'm at the NFL Honors that you know, celebrity
- 24:25Speaker 1: family few when they had but you know, go or
- 24:28Speaker 1: hall of famers on that. So I don't know that
- 24:30Speaker 1: he's a group of you know, but how many times
- 24:32Speaker 1: you're gonna be showing a famous person a house anyway?
- 24:36Speaker 1: You know? Or did you really just didn't like your
- 24:38Speaker 1: husband rolling up on you like that because you were
- 24:40Speaker 1: smiling extra hard at every time? Now, let's talk about that,
- 24:46Speaker 1: because that's what I think it is shit Now. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: don't think he's really got nothing to do with he
- 24:50Speaker 1: being a groupie and all that. Just asked for a picture.
- 24:52Speaker 1: That's all all the ground. On her job, Yeah, on
- 24:56Speaker 1: your job sell a house to the man. I think
- 25:00Speaker 1: she ain't gonna post it on her way website. I
- 25:06Speaker 1: think he was probably happy that he asked him for
- 25:08Speaker 1: a picture because he's retired so he doesn't get that
- 25:10Speaker 1: like he used to. Anyway. Man, the man ain't even
- 25:13Speaker 1: have no problem with it unless y'all were smiling each
- 25:15Speaker 1: other's face and he kind of, you know, pissed him
- 25:18Speaker 1: off a little bit rolling up on y'all, which really
- 25:20Speaker 1: I think this got something to do with it. Oh really, Yeah,
- 25:24Speaker 1: you know you wanted to have an ex football player.
- 25:26Speaker 1: You was strutting around. You knew you was gonna show
- 25:28Speaker 1: him that house today, or a little tight skirts button
- 25:34Speaker 1: and all this. Oh yeah, we is it's on. Huh No, yeah,
- 25:41Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Natasha and Sarah Sota, Natasha writes,
- 25:46Speaker 1: I've been dating a forty seven year old man for
- 25:48Speaker 1: six months and he only likes to have sex in
- 25:51Speaker 1: the morning. I have tried to get him in the
- 25:53Speaker 1: mood at night, but he pushes me away. He says,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I'm being selfish, but I love every minute of my
- 25:59Speaker 1: sleep in the morning. Is there a compromise for us
- 26:02Speaker 1: or are we not compatible sexually? Well? Something wrong? He
- 26:07Speaker 1: only liked it in the morning. You like it at night.
- 26:09Speaker 1: That's that's a big difference. Yeah, just do both of them.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It's just thirty years. Yeah, because that's middle of the
- 26:21Speaker 1: night in damn sure. Early. I think Junior solved it.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Y'all set their maloms at two thirty eight years. Everybody
- 26:30Speaker 1: want to be happy, y'all go to this early? Right?
- 26:37Speaker 1: All right? All right? Moving on to Danielle and Knoxville,
- 26:41Speaker 1: who says, my mother and I have always hung out,
- 26:44Speaker 1: and men think we're sisters because she's still a hottie.
- 26:48Speaker 1: They often try to date us both, and my mom
- 26:50Speaker 1: gets the kick out of that. I'm older and I
- 26:53Speaker 1: want to get married, so it's time to stop hanging
- 26:56Speaker 1: with my mother. How do I tell my mom that
- 26:59Speaker 1: I'm tired of hanging out with her? Well, why don't
- 27:01Speaker 1: you why you got to tell her? Just pull her back? Yeah,
- 27:05Speaker 1: you ain't got to tell her her the feelings and
- 27:07Speaker 1: all that. And your mama liked their attention. Anyway, y'all
- 27:12Speaker 1: are draw They want to date both of y'all? Anybody fitting? Dude,
- 27:15Speaker 1: this got no time for this foolishness. Who y'all meeting?
- 27:18Speaker 1: I want to date? The MoMA and her daughter even
- 27:20Speaker 1: make that proposal. Well, they think they're sisters. I ain't ever.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Let me just tell you this right, Well, it's not
- 27:28Speaker 1: about you. I hate ever ever met a girl who
- 27:37Speaker 1: mama was still fine. I just said, I ain't ever. Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 1: and then what did you say, Tommy? Nothing? We heard you,
- 27:46Speaker 1: We heard you, We heard I have If you don't
- 27:55Speaker 1: even sound like Tommy, your boy, just get it off
- 27:59Speaker 1: of him. Yeah, everybody looked like they mama. Everybody looked
- 28:07Speaker 1: like somebody mama. You know, So don't it's all that.
- 28:11Speaker 1: It's all good. You know what. You know, I met
- 28:16Speaker 1: some of the mothers that were tracked, but you could
- 28:18Speaker 1: tell it they had they had had their laugh un
- 28:22Speaker 1: all right, it was good. They was locking it on in.
- 28:26Speaker 1: They was in the bond, you know, doing hay working
- 28:29Speaker 1: stuff like that and all of that. How old were
- 28:31Speaker 1: you know at that time? Yeah, twenties, thirties, you know.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But see, these times are different. These times ain't that different.
- 28:44Speaker 1: You know. You got to get you you gotta get
- 28:46Speaker 1: these helpers off this Instagram with all these filters, even
- 28:50Speaker 1: even they don't look as good as their mama. That's
- 28:53Speaker 1: what's really going on. You get these helpers off Instagram.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Get these filters off. A lot of them don't look
- 28:58Speaker 1: nothing like they damn mama. All right, look coming up
- 29:01Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, thank you, see l O,

- 29:42Speaker 1: of times, you know, because we went too far with you,
- 29:45Speaker 1: you know, judgment and all. But you know, for the
- 29:48Speaker 1: most part, man, it's just really really good. I'm having fun.

- 30:23Speaker 1: other entertainment news, we all know that Denzel was right
- 30:27Speaker 1: there and witnessed. Will Smith slapped Chris Rock on stage
- 30:31Speaker 1: during the Oscar ceremonies last Sunday um while appearing with
- 30:35Speaker 1: Bishop TV Jakes in part of his international Leadership summit
- 30:40Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. This past Saturday. Take a listen
- 30:43Speaker 1: when Bishop Jake's aston Zel Washington. What happened? There's a
- 30:48Speaker 1: saying when the devil ignores you, then you know you're
- 30:52Speaker 1: doing something wrong. Wait a minute, I'm not done. Now,
- 30:57Speaker 1: you know, the devil goes, Oh no, leave him along.
- 31:00Speaker 1: He's my favorite. Right. Conversely, when the devil comes at you,
- 31:07Speaker 1: maybe it's because you're trying to do something right, and
- 31:11Speaker 1: for whatever reason, the devil got ahold of that, of
- 31:15Speaker 1: that circumstance that night, And fortunately there were people there,
- 31:20Speaker 1: not just me, but others in the gap. Tyler Perry
- 31:24Speaker 1: came right immediately, right over there with me, and some prayers.
- 31:29Speaker 1: You know, keep it, keep it. I want to say,
- 31:32Speaker 1: what what we talked about? But there, but for the
- 31:37Speaker 1: grace of God go any of us. You know, who
- 31:40Speaker 1: are we to condemn? I don't know all the ins
- 31:46Speaker 1: and outs of this situation, but I know the only
- 31:50Speaker 1: solution was prayer the way I saw. Oh, okay, surely work.
- 32:00Speaker 1: We're talking about you know what? You know what you
- 32:04Speaker 1: need to pull yourself together? You know, the time him
- 32:09Speaker 1: in dress and that old ass Morgan. Every time you
- 32:13Speaker 1: hear one of them names, y'all of a sudden you
- 32:15Speaker 1: ain't the Christian you're supposed to be. Yes, So you're
- 32:18Speaker 1: gonna stop sliding in and out of your Christianity or
- 32:21Speaker 1: you just come over here and do like me what
- 32:24Speaker 1: you said, thank you, thank you, Carl. You want to
- 32:31Speaker 1: come and Steve? Well, I mean it's cool. I understand
- 32:35Speaker 1: what then coming from with that here the spiritual confidence
- 32:38Speaker 1: you know he supposed to say, talk to it like that. Yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 1: you know, I know what all us Christian actors and
- 32:45Speaker 1: comedians are saying afterwards, though, Yeah, that's what. I know that.
- 32:48Speaker 1: The first time I've heard prayer mentioned its well, laid
- 32:54Speaker 1: hands on Chris, he did. Somebody don't mess with him,
- 32:57Speaker 1: no one of his favorites. Okay, well, you're the devil.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Need to another subject, alright, alright, and I think that
- 33:08Speaker 1: clip is available if we need to play it again
- 33:11Speaker 1: in the show. Moving on. In related news, but she
- 33:20Speaker 1: ain't we could pray together. You ain't gonna, You ain't gonna.
- 33:27Speaker 1: And related news, Netflix and Sony have both stepped away
- 33:32Speaker 1: from their upcoming projects with Will Smith, the Netflix film
- 33:35Speaker 1: Fast and Loose with Sony's highly anticipated movie Bad Boys
- 33:39Speaker 1: four have both been put on hold. Wow, I guess
- 33:43Speaker 1: until they get it all figured out, you know, until
- 33:47Speaker 1: it dies down a little bit or whatever. Do you
- 33:50Speaker 1: think that's what? Yes? Yeah, I just you know, look,
- 33:55Speaker 1: it's it's the hip, it's the hypocrisy of this country
- 34:00Speaker 1: we live in. And nothing is more hypocritical than than Hollywood.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Y'all gonna y'all gonna back away from doing films with
- 34:09Speaker 1: Will Smith when y'all films is about what what you know?
- 34:15Speaker 1: If if you stop making films because some of the
- 34:18Speaker 1: actors in the movie act badly, then you'll be making
- 34:23Speaker 1: no films in this country. Wills was just publicly seen
- 34:29Speaker 1: all them drugs, man, all that casting couch that happens
- 34:34Speaker 1: in Hollywood. That's a hypocrity for both of them to
- 34:38Speaker 1: talk about. You know, they're gonna step away from Will's
- 34:41Speaker 1: projects and not too what man, Hollywood, they walking away
- 34:45Speaker 1: from no money. They're not gonna do that man, that
- 34:50Speaker 1: that they just not gonna do it. It's just hypocritical.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Let mean, look, I think you know it's going there's
- 34:55Speaker 1: all there's gonna be consequences for Will's actions. You go,
- 34:58Speaker 1: you you can do anything and you want to do
- 35:01Speaker 1: like Charlemagne uh said, you can do anything you want
- 35:05Speaker 1: to do. You can go ahead, but understand the consequences
- 35:08Speaker 1: come with it. And then and then, and that's a
- 35:10Speaker 1: true statement, So you know, he got to self with
- 35:12Speaker 1: some consequences, but you know the rest of life though. Yeah,
- 35:19Speaker 1: I just think it's a hypocrisy of this country. Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 1: and they probably will come back at a later date, man,
- 35:26Speaker 1: please thinking. Yeah, but right now while it's so hot,
- 35:29Speaker 1: still all right? Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 35:35Speaker 1: did you see the viral video of Kings of Comedy
- 35:38Speaker 1: Steve and said you and said Steve speaking to each other,
- 35:41Speaker 1: plugging each other. Yeah, we're gonna talk about how black
- 35:45Speaker 1: people greet each other right after this. You don't want
- 35:50Speaker 1: to miss this. You're listening to all right, So Steve,
- 35:57Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about how black people greet each other.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You know, the video has gone viral of the way
- 36:03Speaker 1: you and Cedric the entertainer you're You're King of Comedy,
- 36:07Speaker 1: Buddy greeted each other this past Saturday at black Man
- 36:11Speaker 1: for Prostate Cancer Awareness event that was held in New
- 36:14Speaker 1: York City. So, um, it was I just thought it
- 36:19Speaker 1: was so beautiful. I mean, what did you think? What
- 36:21Speaker 1: are your thoughts? Well, you know, we were standing there
- 36:24Speaker 1: to take this picture, said was late and I ain't
- 36:27Speaker 1: seen said it though it's before the pandemic yeah, man,
- 36:32Speaker 1: I mean it's easily three years. Easy since I've seen
- 36:36Speaker 1: said three years man, person, ye, I mean this is
- 36:40Speaker 1: my dude though, this is And so we were standing
- 36:42Speaker 1: there taking the picture and we were posing and I
- 36:46Speaker 1: heard his voice and my head jerked immediately and it
- 36:50Speaker 1: was him. He didn't care, I ain't care. He came
- 36:55Speaker 1: straight to me. He wasn't he wasn't going to nobody else,
- 37:00Speaker 1: you know me, and said, man, we gotta we got
- 37:03Speaker 1: a special bond, man, I said all the time. The
- 37:07Speaker 1: most two of the most critical moments in my whole
- 37:11Speaker 1: career was with said the Steve Harvey Show and The
- 37:16Speaker 1: Kings of Comedy. And I mean, man, that two monumental
- 37:21Speaker 1: occurrences in my life. And we were tied together at
- 37:24Speaker 1: the Hill doing both of those. And so Sad is
- 37:28Speaker 1: the one dude, man that I don't give a damn
- 37:30Speaker 1: what I'm doing when I see him. It's just like
- 37:35Speaker 1: pure joy. Man. I'm here's a dude, man that I've
- 37:37Speaker 1: known since nineteen eighty nine when I booked him at
- 37:42Speaker 1: at at a at a bar room called vookou Ray.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And uh, this dude, man, We've never had an argument,
- 37:50Speaker 1: a disagreement, We never not spoke. We never had to
- 37:52Speaker 1: go and set on nothing. It's just hey, man, what
- 37:55Speaker 1: you wanna do, well what I want to do, and
- 37:57Speaker 1: then we make a decision and we did it. We've
- 37:59Speaker 1: been me and about that the whole time. He's best friend.

- 38:19Speaker 1: who said it is girl by We love that. I
- 38:24Speaker 1: was laughing at some of the reaction to pick. She
- 38:27Speaker 1: gonna sit up there and look at them talking about girl.
- 38:32Speaker 1: It was like black people greet each other like I
- 38:35Speaker 1: love how we do. We overdu everything, speaking to each other,

- 39:27Speaker 1: I just wanted to say that it's sun the morning.
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm getting ready to Starvice, and you came up on
- 39:33Speaker 1: my phone. And the realst thing I heard anyone saying
- 39:36Speaker 1: a long time is if you woke up this morning,
- 39:41Speaker 1: then it ain't open because God has given you a
- 39:44Speaker 1: chance to get it right. Guy has given you another chance.
- 39:49Speaker 1: And I just wanted to say that that is sobrial
- 39:52Speaker 1: and I thank you for that missage. I thank God
- 39:55Speaker 1: for explaining you that missage because it is great if
- 39:59Speaker 1: we have wal him up. God has given us a chance,
- 40:03Speaker 1: and I just want to say thank you, thank you.
- 40:08Speaker 1: That's real too, I mean, and she is right, she said,
- 40:11Speaker 1: I'm glad God gave you that message. That's where I
- 40:14Speaker 1: get him from. I can't really take credit for this,
- 40:17Speaker 1: you know, I mean, he put a lot of stuff
- 40:20Speaker 1: in my head that I know ain't really there. You
- 40:23Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Hello, all right, let's go to
- 40:27Speaker 1: North Carolina and talk to us and North Carolina. Go ahead.
- 40:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry to see this is both from North Carolina.
- 40:40Speaker 1: I'm like you, I'm sixty years old and I have
- 40:43Speaker 1: never seen anyone or anyone our age. I don't think
- 40:48Speaker 1: you can slap me or you or any one our
- 40:51Speaker 1: age and turn around and walk off and think there
- 40:54Speaker 1: ain't gonna be no consequence. So I just want to
- 40:57Speaker 1: get that though. Now, all right, have a good day. Yeah, see,
- 41:00Speaker 1: both both real simple. I don't know because and I'm
- 41:06Speaker 1: telling you, man, that's why I'm telling you. He picked
- 41:09Speaker 1: a Hollywood moment. He knew exactly what he was doing.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Where else can you go up to a grown ass dude,
- 41:16Speaker 1: slap him, turn around, fix your jacket, and walk off.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I don't know nobody. I don't know know where except
- 41:23Speaker 1: National TV at the Boogie Oscars. Dog, You're not you're
- 41:29Speaker 1: gonna button your jacket up and turn around. Oh no,
- 41:32Speaker 1: we're gonna take that jacket off. Oh that's jacket shirt.
- 41:38Speaker 1: After your pants. All this is gonna be messed up.
- 41:41Speaker 1: You're gonna slap me and turn your back like now
- 41:46Speaker 1: numb see is at two insults? First you slap me. Three,
- 41:50Speaker 1: First you walked up there. You how you fit pick me?
- 41:53Speaker 1: That's one. Number two you slap me, and number three
- 41:57Speaker 1: you turn around like it's okay, like it's over. I
- 41:59Speaker 1: have three motivational surprises for your ask movation. You shouldn't
- 42:05Speaker 1: have came up hill. Number two and you slap me.
- 42:08Speaker 1: And number three you thought I wasn't gonna do a
- 42:10Speaker 1: damn thing about it. I'll tell you what if I
- 42:12Speaker 1: wouldn't have done nothing then, because Chris Rock played it perfectly.
- 42:16Speaker 1: He held it up with the dignity that I don't
- 42:19Speaker 1: know that I have. But at the after party though,
- 42:23Speaker 1: when he had that Oscar in his hand, dancing around
- 42:25Speaker 1: and all that. The next time we all saw that
- 42:29Speaker 1: Oscar would have been after surgery. That's all I have
- 42:32Speaker 1: to say. The time he would have saw that Ascar.
- 42:37Speaker 1: And they're just gonna need to be washed off right.
- 42:41Speaker 1: They're gonna have to recode it. The next message. This
- 42:46Speaker 1: also is about the slap and nephew Tommy, Okay, tasty,
- 42:51Speaker 1: I sort of slap, and I just wanted to say
- 42:54Speaker 1: I am shocked, but I love the way Chris handled it,
- 42:59Speaker 1: and he didn't qush argist. I love Chris for that,
- 43:02Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And I also wanted to
- 43:05Speaker 1: tell you I love you, Steve. I love the way
- 43:08Speaker 1: you use your platform to do good. You're imperfectly perfect.
- 43:13Speaker 1: You know, you use your platform to try to bring
- 43:15Speaker 1: people to God and to elevate people. And I want
- 43:18Speaker 1: to let you know you are appreciated. Okay, I listen
- 43:21Speaker 1: to you every morning. You are appreciated. And Nephew Tommy,

- 45:06Speaker 1: All right, this right here? No mo how weaves? No
- 45:11Speaker 1: mo how weeds? Okay, all right, let's go get Hello. Hello,
- 45:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Resa, Please Resa, hi Resa. My
- 45:22Speaker 1: name is Byron, Byron from the job. How are you?
- 45:25Speaker 1: I'm okay, how are you buying? I'm good? Listen. I
- 45:28Speaker 1: hate to call you after hours at your home, but
- 45:31Speaker 1: there has been some new issues that will be going
- 45:34Speaker 1: into effect. That was just tomorrow morning, and we're calling
- 45:37Speaker 1: everyone letting them know the new changes that have been
- 45:41Speaker 1: issued that will take effect first thing tomorrow morning. So
- 45:43Speaker 1: we're giving everyone a call, So don't be alarmed. It's
- 45:46Speaker 1: just give me a call letting you know what the
- 45:49Speaker 1: what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay, there's no
- 45:51Speaker 1: problem to listen. Okay, that's up tomorrow. What's gonna happen
- 45:55Speaker 1: is when you guys come in, you'll be issued a
- 45:57Speaker 1: new key card and that particular car. All right, we'll
- 46:00Speaker 1: actually registers when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
- 46:04Speaker 1: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
- 46:06Speaker 1: any personal Internet at the job any longer. You won't
- 46:10Speaker 1: be able. They're actually putting a block on all computers.
- 46:13Speaker 1: All the computers will no longer be able to go
- 46:16Speaker 1: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
- 46:18Speaker 1: to that you've been that's been available here in the past. Okay, okay,
- 46:24Speaker 1: all right. The last one is reesa do you do
- 46:27Speaker 1: you wear a hair weave? What do you wear a
- 46:30Speaker 1: hair weave or a wig? Yes? Okay, Well here's one
- 46:35Speaker 1: thing and hopefully you can get this change about tomorrow.
- 46:37Speaker 1: There's no weaves or hair or wigs gonna be allowed
- 46:43Speaker 1: at the job site from this point on. So as
- 46:45Speaker 1: of tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their natural hair.
- 46:49Speaker 1: You're joking, h No, these are the issues that are
- 46:53Speaker 1: going to be that are instated, and these are going
- 46:55Speaker 1: to take effect as of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock. What
- 46:58Speaker 1: is to have to do with any of these changes?
- 47:01Speaker 1: The first two I can understand punching in and being
- 47:04Speaker 1: on the internet. Yes, that's something that the corporate But
- 47:07Speaker 1: hair weaves and weeks you're getting interchanging, thus are they're
- 47:13Speaker 1: looking down upon it. Wigs and hair weaves they have
- 47:16Speaker 1: to go. So I'm assuming that if you, like you said,
- 47:20Speaker 1: you do have one, it doesn't come out of there
- 47:25Speaker 1: taking it down now and prepare your hair to be
- 47:27Speaker 1: natural as you come in to work tomorrow. I'm not
- 47:30Speaker 1: taking my hair down. I've been here seven years and
- 47:32Speaker 1: I've dealt with all the changes that y'all have made.
- 47:34Speaker 1: But there's no way that I'm taking my hair weave down.
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron? Yes, my name is Byron,
- 47:41Speaker 1: and I'm sorry. Let's get back to your weave. This
- 47:45Speaker 1: has you're gonna have to do something because there's someone
- 47:47Speaker 1: that you can call tonight to help you get your
- 47:49Speaker 1: hair down and so you can look presentable with your
- 47:52Speaker 1: natural hair tomorrow. No, my, we've cast over two or
- 47:55Speaker 1: three hundred dollars and I'm not about to take that down.
- 47:58Speaker 1: I mean, it takes some time. I'm to take that down. Okay,
- 48:03Speaker 1: I mean, is this something maybe you can take it
- 48:05Speaker 1: down and just wear it on the weekends because as
- 48:07Speaker 1: of now, you're not going to be allowed to actually
- 48:09Speaker 1: wear it on the property. And how will you know
- 48:12Speaker 1: if someone has weave or not? Are you gonna do
- 48:14Speaker 1: head checks or something? Okay, ma'am, I'm not quite sure
- 48:19Speaker 1: what they're gonna do to check it. But by you
- 48:21Speaker 1: telling me that you you have a weave, then I
- 48:25Speaker 1: have to write it down that you have confirmed that
- 48:27Speaker 1: you do, and we got to make sure that tomorrow
- 48:30Speaker 1: morning you're not wearing one. But you don't know what
- 48:32Speaker 1: my natural hair looks like from my weave. Are you
- 48:35Speaker 1: heard how much I pay for it? So it's a
- 48:37Speaker 1: good weave, ma'am. It's not about how good you know
- 48:41Speaker 1: the quality of your weave or anything. They don't want it.
- 48:43Speaker 1: They want natural hair. I don't know what that means.
- 48:46Speaker 1: But they're going natural, they're going green, they're going natural.
- 48:49Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. They're going natural, and
- 48:51Speaker 1: so will you. Tomorrow morning. You need to come in
- 48:54Speaker 1: with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm gonna do it.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I'm not taking my weave down. Okay. What is that
- 49:00Speaker 1: y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am. Do
- 49:03Speaker 1: you not want your job? Yeah? I want my job,
- 49:05Speaker 1: but this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have a dress coach and forcing
- 49:11Speaker 1: a dress code, that's one thing. But telling somebody to
- 49:15Speaker 1: change they have you lost your mind? Man, you're crazy, ma'am.
- 49:19Speaker 1: I'm not good. I have other people that I have
- 49:21Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is, get your hat out and
- 49:24Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow and let's not go
- 49:27Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, Well, listen, buy Land, you're
- 49:30Speaker 1: a low mind. If you're thinking I'm taking my weave out,
- 49:34Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Risa is coming up
- 49:38Speaker 1: in there with her hair and I'm gonna sit down
- 49:40Speaker 1: at my desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have
- 49:42Speaker 1: to drag me out that handsome weave. You lost your mind,
- 49:46Speaker 1: you and your powers that be or whoever they may be.
- 49:49Speaker 1: You tell them that I said that way a minute?
- 49:51Speaker 1: Wa amute, listen? Are you telling me that you're coming
- 49:54Speaker 1: in regardless with your hair on? Right? That's what I
- 49:57Speaker 1: just said? Oh good calling me and hold you? Are
- 50:00Speaker 1: you then then we need Why don't you go ahead
- 50:03Speaker 1: and bring some boxes in because you may I'm not
- 50:07Speaker 1: you bring me man, I don't want to have to pack.
- 50:09Speaker 1: You get your stuff and box it up, and you're
- 50:11Speaker 1: losing your job because you can't take it. You know what?
- 50:14Speaker 1: You can do that because I'm an call the news
- 50:16Speaker 1: station and tell them you're dragging me out of go
- 50:19Speaker 1: behind some weeds. Who's wrong? You're wrong? You're wrong? You stupid?
- 50:24Speaker 1: Are you gonna? You need to watch your language, young lady?
- 50:27Speaker 1: Why I need to watch my language? I'm at home.
- 50:28Speaker 1: You call me on my own home phone and my time.
- 50:32Speaker 1: I'm at my house. I'm not on your flock. I
- 50:35Speaker 1: say what I want to say on my phone. Okay?
- 50:37Speaker 1: Can I say what I want on my phone? And
- 50:39Speaker 1: then I'll let you go and you can come into
- 50:41Speaker 1: to work anywhere you want to tomorrow. What is it,
- 50:43Speaker 1: bobm On? What else you got to say? I want

- 53:42Speaker 1: it Strawberry Letter, Thank you, f you. Subject is my
- 53:46Speaker 1: man a gold digger. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty
- 53:49Speaker 1: one year old licensed cosmetologist, nailed technician, and esthetician. I
- 53:54Speaker 1: have a hair salon. I do eyebrows, nails, and I
- 53:57Speaker 1: do botox injections Salona's upscale and I have the upper
- 54:02Speaker 1: echelon clients in my city. I am recently divorced and
- 54:06Speaker 1: I have to pay my ex husband's files of support
- 54:08Speaker 1: because the judge thought that my ex husband helped me
- 54:11Speaker 1: build my business while we were married. That couldn't be
- 54:14Speaker 1: further from the truth. He tore me down and mismanaged
- 54:18Speaker 1: money all the time. I used insurance money that I
- 54:22Speaker 1: got from my father's death, and it was a nice settlement.
- 54:24Speaker 1: So now I am financially set. Because of that, I
- 54:28Speaker 1: bought a nice house and two cars. All that's missing
- 54:31Speaker 1: from my life now is a man and the family
- 54:34Speaker 1: that I want to have one day soon. I have
- 54:36Speaker 1: been casually dating this guy for a few weeks and
- 54:39Speaker 1: he seems to be a fast talker. When I met him,
- 54:43Speaker 1: he said he was about to buy a home and
- 54:45Speaker 1: he was living in an apartment temporarily. He said that
- 54:48Speaker 1: he's always traveling and he loves the finer things in life.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I noticed he had a rolex on when we met,
- 54:55Speaker 1: so I thought he might be telling the truth. He
- 54:57Speaker 1: drives a pickup truck that's very nice, but it's older.
- 55:01Speaker 1: When we got out. When we go out, he wants
- 55:04Speaker 1: me to drive so we can ride with the top
- 55:07Speaker 1: down in my car. The other day, he wanted to
- 55:09Speaker 1: go to a Dacieri bar where he knew all of
- 55:11Speaker 1: his friends would be outside when he pulled up. When
- 55:15Speaker 1: we pulled up with the top down, he went in
- 55:18Speaker 1: stunting like we were the hot new couple, and I
- 55:20Speaker 1: went along with it. He told his friend that I
- 55:22Speaker 1: have everything a man could want, and I have my
- 55:25Speaker 1: own money. I also overheard him saying that he's going
- 55:30Speaker 1: to go to Hawaii with me in June, which we
- 55:32Speaker 1: never discussed. Is he trying to insert himself in my
- 55:36Speaker 1: life and my trip? Is this man a gold digger?
- 55:40Speaker 1: All right? Well, it's understandable that you might be a
- 55:43Speaker 1: little concerned after you went through what you went through
- 55:46Speaker 1: with your husband, who you said mismanaged money. So now
- 55:50Speaker 1: this new guy who knows he might be a gold digger.
- 55:54Speaker 1: He might not. But the only way to find out
- 55:58Speaker 1: for sure is to get to know him him. I mean,
- 56:00Speaker 1: I think him always wanting to drive your car and
- 56:04Speaker 1: show it off to his friends, it's a bit suspicious.
- 56:06Speaker 1: But more than that, you didn't mention any of these things.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Does he ever pull out his wallet? Does he pay
- 56:12Speaker 1: for stuff? Does he pay for anything? I mean, you
- 56:15Speaker 1: didn't say anything about that. That's what you need to
- 56:19Speaker 1: look out for. Does he work. You didn't say anything
- 56:21Speaker 1: about him having a job, none of that. All you
- 56:23Speaker 1: said was he had on a rolex when we met,
- 56:27Speaker 1: so you thought he might be telling the truth. Otherwise
- 56:30Speaker 1: you said he was a fast talker. So I say,
- 56:34Speaker 1: if you feel something isn't quite right, and you do
- 56:36Speaker 1: because that's why you wrote us trust your instincts, because
- 56:40Speaker 1: you don't. You don't really know this guy. I mean,
- 56:42Speaker 1: you know, you can ask him some questions, ask him questions.
- 56:46Speaker 1: What's what's wrong with that conversation getting to know someone?
- 56:50Speaker 1: You say you're only casually dating him, whatever that means. So,
- 56:55Speaker 1: if you're only casually dating him, does it matter if
- 56:58Speaker 1: he's a gold digger? Or you want to take this
- 57:00Speaker 1: further and you want to know now if he's a
- 57:02Speaker 1: gold digger before you take it any further. Either way,
- 57:05Speaker 1: you gotta get to know this guy. If you're planning
- 57:07Speaker 1: on something more serious with him, take your time, you guys,
- 57:10Speaker 1: go out more time, get to know the guy, and
- 57:12Speaker 1: then you can make a fair assessment on whether he's
- 57:15Speaker 1: a gold digger. Know more about him than just that
- 57:18Speaker 1: he's wearing a Rolex Steve. Oh this is right up
- 57:22Speaker 1: my alley. Oh God, especially thanks likeness, I'm gonna be
- 57:27Speaker 1: so helpful to this young sister. It's gonna be unbelievable.
- 57:30Speaker 1: I'm going to be so helpful to you. First of all,
- 57:34Speaker 1: you got a lot going on, young lady. Cosmetologist, nail tech, esteticians,
- 57:42Speaker 1: hair salon. You do eyebrows, nails, do botox, and jecks.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Your scale is upscale, your salon is upscale. You got
- 57:50Speaker 1: up echelon clients in the city. Now, you divorced now
- 57:53Speaker 1: and you had to pay your ex husband spousal support
- 57:55Speaker 1: because it judge thought your ex husband help you build
- 57:58Speaker 1: your business while we've married. Couldn't be further from the truth,
- 58:01Speaker 1: because he tore you down. Recently, your father passed. You
- 58:05Speaker 1: got a nice settlement, so you're financially set. You bought
- 58:08Speaker 1: a nice house, two cars, and all this missing from
- 58:11Speaker 1: my life is a man. Well, here we go that
- 58:16Speaker 1: I and a family that you want to have one
- 58:18Speaker 1: day soon. So you have no kids. You've been casually
- 58:21Speaker 1: dating this guy for a few weeks and he seems
- 58:24Speaker 1: to be a fast talker. Now, women, you all specialize
- 58:30Speaker 1: in communication. That's one of your strong suits and attributes.
- 58:34Speaker 1: If you meet a man that seems to be a
- 58:37Speaker 1: fast talker, if anybody knows that he would be you.
- 58:42Speaker 1: So we're talking about this fast talker. And when you
- 58:46Speaker 1: say fast talker, I'm assuming you saying it has a
- 58:50Speaker 1: little slick element to it. See, fast talkers are usually
- 58:55Speaker 1: what I found in my experience all my boys. That's
- 58:58Speaker 1: fast talkers and their about I know that's a fast
- 59:01Speaker 1: talking has a little slick element to it, something trick
- 59:05Speaker 1: about it while you're talking. So damn fair because fast
- 59:09Speaker 1: talkers talk so you can't talk. See, fast talkers don't
- 59:13Speaker 1: like spaces and pauses in their conversation because that leaves
- 59:17Speaker 1: rooms for questioning. And fast talkers like to just put
- 59:23Speaker 1: out their narrative. They're not interested in what you think
- 59:26Speaker 1: of you. So that's a red light. When I met him,
- 59:30Speaker 1: he said he's about to buy a home and he
- 59:32Speaker 1: was living in an apartment temporality. That's a cool move
- 59:35Speaker 1: right here. But what you mean you're about to buy
- 59:37Speaker 1: a home? You're about to buy it? When you're about
- 59:41Speaker 1: to buy it? Where where you've been looking? Let me
- 59:45Speaker 1: see some of the places you've explored. I got so
- 59:51Speaker 1: much motor. Say to you, lad, I'm fing to help
- 59:53Speaker 1: you when I come back, young lady, Uncle Steve to
- 59:55Speaker 1: the rescue. All right. See, we'll have part two of
- 59:59Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject is my man a gold digger.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: We'll come back with part two right after this. You're
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: listening all right. Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: The subject is is my man a gold digger? Yeah?
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: You know, this lady's doing really well. She's thirty one,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: she has no children, she's recently divorced, she pays spousal support,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: she has a beautiful salon, high echelon, upscale clients and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: things like that. She does all the services. She started
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: dating this guy. She has herself together all she wants
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: as a man and a family. You've been casually dating
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: this guy for a few weeks and he seems to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: be a fast talking I said before, people who are
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: fast talkers usually we call him fast talkers because they
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: seem to have a little slick element about themselves. All
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the fast talkers I know have slick elements about themselves.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: All of them never met one who didn't. So I
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: think you're on point and women being communications specialists. If
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: you think a person is a fast talking then it is. Now.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: The reason people of me and are fast talkers is
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: because we don't leave. We don't like gaps and pauses
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and paragraphs and out talking because we don't want you
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: to control the narrative. We want to control the narrative
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: and reduces the amount of questions. You've got to gather yourself,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: as Shirley said, and you got to start asking the
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: hard questions now. When you met him, he said he's
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: about to buy a home and he was living in
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: an apartment temporality. That's a natural transition. They ain't nothing
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: wrong with that. But what you mean he's about to
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: buy them? What real estate? Let him show the houses
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: he'd been looking at, the areas he trying to move to.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: This How you can find out about money without asking
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: about money? He says he's always traveling and he loves
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: to finder things in life. That's easy. Who don't? Who don't?
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: What has he said? That's so enriching. I like to
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: finder things in life. Who don't. But now let's look
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: at him real close. After the statement I love the
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: finer things in life. I noticed he had a rolex
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: on when we met, so I thought he might be
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: telling the truth. Don't let that watch throw you. Do
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: not let that rolex throw you. Tweeting girl, you can
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: get the girl. Pawn Shop's got rolexes. You can go
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: downtown New York Canal Street and rolex yourself out. Look
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: look jes like it. Don't let that throw you, but
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I do want to point this out to you. You
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: said he had a rolex on, so he thought. He
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: drives a pickup truck. That's very nice, but it's older.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Excuse me, he just said he liked the finer things
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: in life. What's up with the old ass pickup truck.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now that ain't how men are.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Man the moment we got some money, you're finding no
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: about it because what's the purpose of having it? That's
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: how we look good to the what we're trying to trap,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: which is female man boy. Please, So if you like
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: to find the things in life, he drives a pickup truck.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: It's very nice, but it's older. Okay. When we go out,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: he wants me to drive so he can ride with
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: the top down in my car. Oh, he liked flex it.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: He just told you he liked to find the things
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: in life, and you got he wants to drive with
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: the top down. The other day he wanted to go
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: to a dacory bar where he knew all his friends
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: would be outside. When we pulled up with the top down,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: he went in stunting like we the hot new couple
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and I went along with it. He told his friends
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: that I have everything a man could want, and I
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: have my own money. This is not the conversation you
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: want to overhear. We are looking for the chick of
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: our dreads, and it don't mean you have everything. I
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: can tell you that for fast don't get sprang called.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Listen to what he's saying. Missing the fast talker. He
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: wanted to pull up in the Dakary bar in your
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: car with the top down and walk in like y'all
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the hot new couple that's fast talking. Now he'd win
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: in there and talking to y'all like he just everything. Now,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you didn't heard him tell his friends he got everything
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: a man come won't got your own money. Then you
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: overheard him saying he's going to Hawaii with me in June,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: which we never discussed in June. He didn't see he
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: had wrote himself into the script. He in the movie
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: already start Do he have Hawaii trip money? Now you
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: can easily figure this out because you overheard him say that.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: He didn't say nothing to you because he fast talking
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: with his friends. Now, I don't know if he told
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: you to throw his friends. He gonna pay for the trip,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: or you're gonna pay for the trip? Is he trying
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: to insert himself in my life and my trip? I
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: just told you he didn't put his self in the
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: movie he's starring in it. Is this man a gold dicker? Well,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the answer to that question is yes, because everything he
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: does points to that he won't to ride in your car.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: He telling he talking about you got your own money.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: He drive an old ass pickup trouble. I don't give
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: a damn how nice it is men and men always
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: watch their cars. Don't. Don't be fooled by that. And
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you need to find out why he driving an old
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: pickup trouble. You need to find out about that rolex.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: And you need to look. Let me give you some things,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and look at his shoes. Look at his shoes. If
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: he if he is sneakerhead, that ain't gonna help, because
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: sneakers is sixty nine dollars hundred and forty, you ain't
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: gonna learn nothing. Look at his clothes. Men who got
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: money wear clothes. Secondly, look at his friends. You associate
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: with people who you can participate with. If your friends
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: is high scale, it's because you could do high scale friends.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: If all your friends is regular. It's cause you got
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: regular ass money. And then you need to look at
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: where he lived and what's in that house? If all
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: that house got our key of furniture in it, which
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with it, but he not thinking about
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: no house. All right, all right, Steve, thank you. It
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: is Junior and Sports Talk at forty six minutes after
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: the hour, right after this you're listening show. All right, guys,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: it is time now for Junior and Sports Talk. What
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: you got junior, Oh, Shirley gratulations Kansas. That's the chip man.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: What a game. I'll tell you what. It's not about
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: how you start, It is how you finished for show. Yes,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: it is because man at halftime, North Carolina do the
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: song up. They had it. They were waving it. Hell,
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: it ain't the saved up shirt off and turn it
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: around your head like a hair a cop like a funeral. Nah.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: It was about fifteen and hand time in forty to
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: twenty fives. Like, boy, they came out strong. But that
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: second half that defense Kansas put out there on that
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: flow Man erased that whole depth by ten minutes of
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: the second hand next see I'm looking up now. I
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: was like, what would happen. I turned it off. Man,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I couldn't. I couldn't watch it. I was pulling so hard.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: You know, South Carolina had won the night before. I
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: was pulling for the Carolina, So I just let the girls.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Victory just had me on the sleep. You know, I
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: wasn't fitting to do that to myself. I ain't out
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: there playing, so I wasn't about I felt bad for
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Humritt and here I felt bad for the players. But
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: you know, yeah, that's life, man, ain't it. Yeah? Man,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: I mean you know, there's life, and you can't let
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that one loss determine nothing about you. That's the motivational
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: lesson we're supposed to get. Boy. Boy that I was
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: sitting there, going, you better dust yourself up, get up,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: dust yourself off, and let's go again. Boy, with some
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: tears out on that court. Man. I'm talking with their
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: in their jersey. They cried hard. Man. It was just
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: hard to watch a deficit leave right there because they
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: was hitting some shots. Kansas. Well, you know, junior in college,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: it ain't like the prose. You know, you play a series.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: It's it's one game. It's elimination. Yeah, you got one chance. Man,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: you can't lose one, comeback and try to get the
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: next one. Like in the pros. This is everything round robin,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: this fade. You got to get up the summer. You
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: had to get up, man, Let's stay fourth nasilor championship
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: can crash. Just to Bill self and the Kansas Jayhawks.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: I ain't like Kansas since since Wizard of Ours. That's
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: what the whole thing still from childhood trauma. I didn't
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: here for kids since the war off to what is it?
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: What is you liking about the Wizard? Off? Great movie? Yes, Wizard,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: I'm learning. Thank you, Junior. All right, listen, coming up
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: to show resently, guys, in Colorado, they passed the law
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: that allows kids to play outside by themselves without the
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: parents getting into trouble for neglect. So here's a question
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: for the guys. When you were a kid, how often
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: did you do things without adult supervision on a daily bad?
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: And what was it that you did every day supervision?
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: What was on that bike moving around that neighborhood? Boy,
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: what are you talking about way back in the woods,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: jumping ramps, when the picking bear ris, what breaking winters?
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: What stealing wood? Building a club high? What we get it?
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Stealing somebody else's bike? What we were doing? That were
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: you doing? Every single day? We made soccer own bikes,
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: just kicking tennis ball to the goal. All we've done
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the street. We don't know nothing. We're just playing soccer
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: on bikes, That's what we were doing. Baseball basketball at
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: the park where I wasn't supposed to be because people
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: over there don't know how to act. We was all
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: over the neighborhood, were just doing everything. Didn nobody know
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: where I was between nine am and five pm. They
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: didn't know where my mama that they had to call
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: houses to find it is. He over to him come
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: out here and didn't know what he was. That was
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: my job was to play. You had a nine to
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: five place, Steve. I have no idea what they passed
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: or the law for supervision. Do you understand what the
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: horror that my parents would have been in had they
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: seen what I was doing? What were you up to?
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I was? I was headed in the wrong direction a
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: lot of time. If I had kept going down the
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: path for burglary, being eat, breaking and enter it um robbery.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I'd probably be into that. I definitely would be in
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: the arstin I'll set so much stuff on, Yeah, animal abuse,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: I being locked up for so much stuff we was doing.
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: I had a magnifying glass and burned up a whole
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: colony of ants one day, the whole wiped out, an
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: entire colony of ants with a damn magnifying that all
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: my ass, the stuff we used to do. Man, we
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: finally got hold of that damn dog that had tortured
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: us for years of the stuff that got hold of
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: his ass. And I don't even won't say what happened,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: but he don't balk no more. He don't balk no more. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you know he's not able to balk anymore. Major and
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: so you know, you know it was. It was a big,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: big It was a bushy dog with red fur like
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: a child. He was a mean ass dog man was mean,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you know, Larry Singleton's dog King German shep. We wanted
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: big black German ship. We wanted to kill his ass,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: but we never could. He was too scared. So no,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: we didn't have supervision. Whatever bike robberies and skateboard thelfton,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Hey man, we should ride out to the white neighborhood
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: and play baseball with him because we had to. We
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: had finally formed a little black little league team on
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: our street, but we didn't have the money for gloves.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: So we go out to the white neighborhood and play
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: with the white kids, and they would give us their gloves,
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: and we would go to the field and then give
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: them their gloves, and then they go out in the
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: field and they give them, oh day gloves and we
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: go out in the field, and we got to about
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: the third inning, and we gave each other the signal.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: As soon as they tossed us the gloves. We just
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: headed to the bikes. And they were sitting there going, hey,
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: what are you guys doing there without no glove? Well,
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: you know, because they just tossed them to us, and
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: we just on the third about third fourth inning, we
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: fit the head on over to these bikes because we
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: got the gloves. Hey, Hey, where you guys going, Where
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: you guys doing? What are you doing? Hey? Come back,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: come back? That ain't that ain't what's happen? Alright, baseball team,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: we got gloves. Now. Well, more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: mourning show. This ignorant show coming up in twenty minutes
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: after the hour right after this, you're listening to say
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Mourning Show. All right, guys, this story is just some
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: weird aviation news. The world's largest passenger airliner completed a
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: three hour flight last week using nothing but twenty seven
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: tons of cooking oil. They call it sustainable aviation fuel.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: That's all they used to power the flight. It was
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the first airbus A three eighty to be powered completely
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: by cooking oil, which can be made with waste oil
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: and fats and non food crops. Using what is basically
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: cooking oil to fuel the plane cuts CO two admissions
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: by up to eighty percent. Cooking oil alone can't be
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: used as jet fuel, but it can be converted into
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: a biofuel. The UK government has set a target for
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: planes to use ten percent sustainable aviation fuel or cooking
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: oil by a year twenty thirty. Throw the whole plane
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: smell like friend frand just flying and just all that
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: stinking like that. You ain't You ain't gonna be a
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: fuel your jet out the hood. I'm gonna tell you
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: that right. Because we save our Greece, we save our greese,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: our greese. A the can sitting on the stove. So
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: I'm James right now, we're not gonna be making contributions
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: to that. You can carry that out there where they
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: recycling and all that we recycling all right now, it's
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: in a coffee can on top of the stove. Yeah,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: So we're not gonna be able to help y'all or
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: running this jet program y'all working on. I'm gonna take
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: you take the hood out the jet program. No, no,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: we know, you take your little jet program somewhere else
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: until we get voting rights. We're not contributing the damn
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: thing to this jet. I'm gonna greee out of meat.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: We'll play another round of would you rather? Right after this.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: You're listening, She's Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time
