- 1:44Speaker 1: them out to turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your ba, I shall will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Y'all listening to the voice, come on dig me NW
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harley got a radio show. I
- 2:12Speaker 1: was talking with my wife and she said something her
- 2:15Speaker 1: father always used to tell her, just because you can
- 2:18Speaker 1: do something don't mean you should do it. I can't
- 2:21Speaker 1: tell you how many times I've had to learn that
- 2:23Speaker 1: in my life. You know, just because you can do
- 2:26Speaker 1: something does not necessarily mean you should do it. I
- 2:31Speaker 1: could tell people off oftentimes, but it don't mean I
- 2:35Speaker 1: should do it. I could go here and set the
- 2:38Speaker 1: record straight a lot of times, but it don't mean
- 2:41Speaker 1: I should do it. Well, I've learned a lot in
- 2:44Speaker 1: that lesson, folks, And because I have a relationship with
- 2:50Speaker 1: my creator, what it's done is it's allowed me to
- 2:55Speaker 1: learn even more how to stay still on a lot
- 2:58Speaker 1: of issues that's troubling me. I've learned it the hard way.
- 3:01Speaker 1: I do want you to understand that that sometimes it's
- 3:04Speaker 1: better to be still. Sometimes it's better to just let
- 3:07Speaker 1: God handle a situation now. And I know it's hard
- 3:10Speaker 1: to say because we think as people, but if I
- 3:13Speaker 1: do this, I would feel better. If I do this now,
- 3:18Speaker 1: they're feel how I feel. See. But that's not always
- 3:21Speaker 1: the best way though. I found in my life. Sometimes
- 3:25Speaker 1: you gotta like old people used to say, you gotta
- 3:27Speaker 1: let go and let God. I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I learned a lot from my mother being a Sunday
- 3:32Speaker 1: school teacher. But you know, at the same time, when
- 3:34Speaker 1: she was when I was young, I thought she was
- 3:36Speaker 1: just an old, old person just talking to me. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: didn't get it. You know how your parents used to
- 3:40Speaker 1: talk to you and you didn't get it, and they
- 3:43Speaker 1: used to always say, well, wait till you have your
- 3:44Speaker 1: own kids. You would get it then and show enough
- 3:47Speaker 1: you got it then. Well I'm the same way. I'm
- 3:49Speaker 1: no different, you know. I don't have no different life
- 3:51Speaker 1: than you. You know, don't have no different upbringing than you.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't have no different ways that I can live
- 3:56Speaker 1: and you can't. You know that I gotta live by
- 3:58Speaker 1: the same laws of the land and that you gotta
- 4:00Speaker 1: live a boy. I gotta obey the principles of success.
- 4:03Speaker 1: If I want to be successful. I got a bam
- 4:05Speaker 1: and you know, and if I want to go to heaven,
- 4:07Speaker 1: I gotta do what God tell me to do as
- 4:09Speaker 1: many times as I can. Now, you ain't gonna get
- 4:11Speaker 1: it at all, right, but he understand that, and I
- 4:14Speaker 1: just get on with the best I can. But so
- 4:16Speaker 1: many times, man, we get stuck right theamn man worrying
- 4:21Speaker 1: about you know how it's gonna come across, and what
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm I'm kind of going around here because
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to find a way to tell you this
- 4:30Speaker 1: that you won't get twisted. The bottom line, you gotta
- 4:32Speaker 1: let go and let God. You have to allow him
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do it his way. See, I thought myself to
- 4:39Speaker 1: a certain point, but to go further, I had to
- 4:42Speaker 1: let God have it. I found out I wasn't all
- 4:45Speaker 1: that good a driver. I found out I wouldn't all
- 4:48Speaker 1: that good of all explore with a map. So I
- 4:51Speaker 1: had to let go. I had to let God. And
- 4:53Speaker 1: you gotta understand that God works in mysterious ways. How
- 4:57Speaker 1: often had I thought it was over for me? But
- 5:00Speaker 1: what God was doing was he was teaching me a lesson.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He was showing me something that I needed to know.
- 5:06Speaker 1: He was allowing me to experience something. But he didn't
- 5:09Speaker 1: let me go under. You know how they say God
- 5:11Speaker 1: had never put more on you than you can bar.
- 5:13Speaker 1: He won't let you go under you know, It's like
- 5:16Speaker 1: the scripture that Bishop Olmer taught me when I was
- 5:18Speaker 1: going through that traumatic thing on the internet. Man, it
- 5:21Speaker 1: was really really man trying to destroy what I had
- 5:24Speaker 1: worked for and my family and this new life to
- 5:26Speaker 1: God had presented me. And the devil is busy. The
- 5:28Speaker 1: devil won't like to see you happy. So here he comes.
- 5:31Speaker 1: He puts you under attack, and here comes internet and everything,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and my kids are suffering, but you know, here comes God.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Though see, God don't put more on you than you
- 5:40Speaker 1: can bad. Bishop Olmah sent me a scripture. He sent
- 5:44Speaker 1: me Isaiah forty three one and two. And then that
- 5:47Speaker 1: scripture it says to the effect that you can walk
- 5:51Speaker 1: through the waters the rivers, and the water won't overcome you.
- 5:55Speaker 1: But then it said, you can walk through the fire
- 5:58Speaker 1: and you will not get burned, nor will kindling set
- 6:02Speaker 1: upon your clothing. I learned something very valuable that day. See,
- 6:06Speaker 1: God sent me through something, but he was showing me
- 6:09Speaker 1: something too. Now he didn't do it. God didn't bring
- 6:12Speaker 1: that calamity into my life because in Isaiah fifty four
- 6:16Speaker 1: seventeen it says clearly that if anyone comes against you,
- 6:20Speaker 1: it will not be my doing. Now, this is what
- 6:23Speaker 1: he promised you when people come for you. Thought, seeing
- 6:26Speaker 1: this is what I learned. That's why I have no
- 6:28Speaker 1: fear of the people coming anymore because I learned that.
- 6:31Speaker 1: But God had to send me through a traumatic experience
- 6:34Speaker 1: in order for me to learn that. You can't have
- 6:36Speaker 1: a testimony without a test you know what I'm staying.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You can't learn nothing without a lesson. So what he
- 6:42Speaker 1: did was he allowed that internet thing crossed into my life,
- 6:45Speaker 1: but he taught me something. And Isaiah forty three one
- 6:48Speaker 1: and two was and you could walk through the fire
- 6:51Speaker 1: and not get burned, nor will kindling set upon your clothing.
- 6:54Speaker 1: So what that said to me was, even though you
- 6:57Speaker 1: trying to do me and it's fire all around me,
- 7:00Speaker 1: I won't burn. But when it's over, kindling won't set
- 7:04Speaker 1: upon your clothing. What that showed me was not only
- 7:07Speaker 1: would I walk through the fine not get burned, but
- 7:09Speaker 1: there will be no signs that I was ever in
- 7:12Speaker 1: the fire. There's no signs of it. But now hold up, though,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Now he go to part though that I had to learn.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Even though you can walk through the fire, y'all, and
- 7:21Speaker 1: even though you're being flames and scorching all around you,
- 7:24Speaker 1: if you trust him, he ain't gonna let you burn.
- 7:27Speaker 1: But now hear what he did not say. Though he
- 7:29Speaker 1: did not say that it was not going to be
- 7:33Speaker 1: uncomfortably hot, wickedly hot in there. He can't say that.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He just said you won't burn, and when it's over,
- 7:41Speaker 1: it won't be no signs that you was in the fire.
- 7:43Speaker 1: See what happened to me was after they tried to
- 7:46Speaker 1: destroy me, let me show you what God did from it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Not only did they not accomplish what they set out
- 7:51Speaker 1: to do, but when they was through with me, though,
- 7:53Speaker 1: when they was through throwing the gas and throwing the fire,
- 7:57Speaker 1: throwing their hate and writing it in lyning and creating
- 8:00Speaker 1: all these names for themselves so it could look like
- 8:03Speaker 1: more people was hating when they got through with all that. Man,
- 8:07Speaker 1: look what he did to me. Look what he did
- 8:10Speaker 1: fun me, because he taught me something that day, And
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm sharing it with you because God will do the
- 8:15Speaker 1: same thing for you. But you gotta trust him though.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You got to get in there, and you got to
- 8:19Speaker 1: let him do it. You gotta let him handle it. So,
- 8:22Speaker 1: just like Pop Bridges taught my wife Margie, just because
- 8:25Speaker 1: you can do something, don't mean y'all to do something.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Yeah you could go down there and straighten the mouth,
- 8:29Speaker 1: but should you though, Yeah, you can go down there
- 8:32Speaker 1: and tell them all. Yeah, you can go down stand
- 8:34Speaker 1: up and make sure they know it's your voice that
- 8:36Speaker 1: they're hearing. And you can get in their face and
- 8:38Speaker 1: make a scene. But should you though, or should you
- 8:41Speaker 1: let go and let God? So before we run all
- 8:45Speaker 1: out in the streets and somebody go out there and
- 8:47Speaker 1: do something crazy, let's hold tight. Now, I'm not saying
- 8:51Speaker 1: don't go out there, but you gotta watch who you
- 8:53Speaker 1: go out there with. But you can go down there
- 8:54Speaker 1: with peace in your heart. Somebody decide I'm gonna throw
- 8:57Speaker 1: a brick through here and bust a wonder. Hold up, partner,
- 9:00Speaker 1: Hold up, They ain't what we're down here doing. So see,
- 9:02Speaker 1: sometimes man, you gotta let go and you gotta let God.
- 9:04Speaker 1: You gotta let God have a situation sometimes and you
- 9:07Speaker 1: get it in and do the things that He tells
- 9:09Speaker 1: you to do. See Bishop woman and taught me a lot.
- 9:11Speaker 1: He had another book out and he said, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 1: knowing God's voice or something like that. I'm not sure
- 9:17Speaker 1: the title, but I never really knew the definition of
- 9:20Speaker 1: how do you know as God's voice talking to you? Well,
- 9:23Speaker 1: he clearly made a statement. God's voice has no sin
- 9:28Speaker 1: in it. Whenever you're talking about I'm gonna go, I'm
- 9:30Speaker 1: gonna show him. I'm gonna get him back. If it's
- 9:33Speaker 1: sin in it, God ain't in it. See thats you now,
- 9:37Speaker 1: God's voice has no sin in it. So when you
- 9:40Speaker 1: say God told me, be careful because God ain't never
- 9:45Speaker 1: told you to go do nothing wrong, that ain't what
- 9:47Speaker 1: he told you. And I learned that too. It's a lot.
- 9:51Speaker 1: So I'm just sharing today. I hope it helps somebody
- 9:54Speaker 1: today get through a difficult time because the show has
- 9:56Speaker 1: helped me. Hey, get your behind it is time for
- 10:06Speaker 1: the Steve hobb In Morning. Joe can't do it alone.
- 10:10Speaker 1: That's why I got what if? Hey, good morning, Jay?
- 10:15Speaker 1: I like that. Go down there, get in there. You
- 10:20Speaker 1: ever had that hamp tea when it don't go well? Anyway?
- 10:23Speaker 1: All right, put up? How are you doing this morning?
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'll be great. I'm great? Thank you for asking? How
- 10:28Speaker 1: about you? All right? What's going on? Colin? Forrell? What's up?
- 10:31Speaker 1: What's up? What's up? Jay? What's up? Crue with morning? Yo,
- 10:35Speaker 1: it's a good morning. My main man, my writing partner,
- 10:38Speaker 1: my sick body was up? Junior? How you doing? Having?
- 10:41Speaker 1: Man's going on? Everybody morning? Everybody was in help. If
- 10:47Speaker 1: I had that boys, man, man, what would you do?
- 10:51Speaker 1: I don't know. Steve says, great for pipping, but I
- 10:54Speaker 1: wouldn't be doing it for not leave here? The aint pranks?
- 11:00Speaker 1: What's up? Time? Time? What's going to? Top? Top? Top?
- 11:04Speaker 1: Top top? Feeling a little under the weather. But that's
- 11:06Speaker 1: all right, And I'm actually regular Hey wait, wait, wait wait,
- 11:10Speaker 1: let me let me clarify I'm regular, I am, but
- 11:14Speaker 1: I am regular sick this morning. Okay, that's the problem.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Ain't nobody get regular sick? No more. Regular people still
- 11:22Speaker 1: do get colds and stuff. But anytime you get a cold,
- 11:26Speaker 1: people question your poles. They should as they should, but
- 11:30Speaker 1: I did, I got a chest call. I did go
- 11:33Speaker 1: get tested immediately I got that. I got that. I
- 11:38Speaker 1: will I will text it to you right now. We
- 11:41Speaker 1: love you and everything, but we need you need to
- 11:45Speaker 1: get that checked out. And that ain't share you know
- 11:49Speaker 1: what I mean? The times they hadn't been up in
- 11:51Speaker 1: my nose? I'm sorry? Are you people? The people give
- 11:57Speaker 1: them test. I think they really like doing that, you know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: because they go it ain't that far up. You ain't
- 12:05Speaker 1: got to go up that far to get it. You really,
- 12:07Speaker 1: you know what I mean, You gotta be right right there.
- 12:10Speaker 1: But how to do their job. But you know what
- 12:15Speaker 1: I learned, guys, I've seen I've seen, uh the person
- 12:19Speaker 1: giving the test actually give it to the to the person,
- 12:22Speaker 1: let them do it themselves. And then and then it
- 12:25Speaker 1: doesn't come back right you know what I mean, It
- 12:27Speaker 1: doesn't come back right now. I'm I'm saying, Tommy, is
- 12:31Speaker 1: you gotta loan sh You ain't got to use all
- 12:34Speaker 1: of it, that's all. And why is the stick that long? Anyway? Man?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Well you can they said, you can start doing get
- 12:46Speaker 1: your timpership is right on the tip. They're just right.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Why don't I just why don't I just blow my nose?
- 12:55Speaker 1: And you take that too much? You know what I mean?
- 13:02Speaker 1: You look at that. Yeah, you know you don't like
- 13:06Speaker 1: Jay when I take the COVID test. I don't like
- 13:08Speaker 1: you talking to me about what you're doing. I'm going
- 13:10Speaker 1: in a one two three. All I need all that
- 13:16Speaker 1: talking to me, the conversation. Yeah, all of that. You're
- 13:19Speaker 1: already going up here for no reason. Is it supposed
- 13:22Speaker 1: to come at your ass? That's all I ask. Coming
- 13:29Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, it's time
- 13:32Speaker 1: for as bitter man. Hurry up, bitter man, what are
- 13:34Speaker 1: you not gonna do? We are not gonna help you
- 13:36Speaker 1: if you get some help out of this as bitter man.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Right after this, oh lord, you're listening to the Steve
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, as promise. I know you've been waiting.
- 13:49Speaker 1: It's time for ask bitter Man. Okay, Uh, you're a disclaimer, please, sir,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I'm not trying to help you. If you get any
- 13:58Speaker 1: help out of this its own. I have no intention
- 14:02Speaker 1: of helping you. Even if the thought of me helping
- 14:05Speaker 1: you came to my head, I wouldn't do it. Go ahead,
- 14:09Speaker 1: no help advice I love it, right, sure's a different
- 14:15Speaker 1: show with Stevenson. All right. This one is from Stephen
- 14:19Speaker 1: and Roanoke says, I'm a twenty nine year old engaged
- 14:23Speaker 1: man and I've messed up my entire life. My X
- 14:26Speaker 1: and I ended up at the same party one night
- 14:28Speaker 1: and she got drunk and was all over me. I
- 14:31Speaker 1: took her home and walked her in, and you can
- 14:33Speaker 1: guess what happened next. I left early before she woke
- 14:37Speaker 1: up and texted her to apologize for what we did.
- 14:40Speaker 1: She sent me a video from her security camera of
- 14:43Speaker 1: us having sex. I didn't respond, how can I get
- 14:48Speaker 1: that video? What man? First of all, I way, no
- 14:53Speaker 1: way you can get the video. But here's the thing
- 14:55Speaker 1: I know about Sometimes when people break up, sometimes God
- 14:59Speaker 1: give you a sign that what you're about to do
- 15:01Speaker 1: in terms of getting married is not supposed to happen
- 15:04Speaker 1: at all. Take this. Take this as a sign from God.
- 15:09Speaker 1: God spoke to you to mess up what was gonna happen.
- 15:13Speaker 1: There's a video of it once, the video video not
- 15:16Speaker 1: getting married, and it's probably a damn good video too,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you know. And to make further judgment about this video,
- 15:26Speaker 1: Tommy and I and me and junior. We really need
- 15:29Speaker 1: to see this video. But you are right. Most most
- 15:39Speaker 1: drunk sex is really good. It's yeah, but you can't
- 15:44Speaker 1: remember it. That's the problem. And so if you let
- 15:47Speaker 1: us wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, we never know,
- 15:52Speaker 1: we're not gonna run over the less rob. If you
- 15:58Speaker 1: never had drunk sex, Strawberry. Yeah, oh oh, you ain't
- 16:08Speaker 1: drunk sex. Oh drunk not I'm headed by myself, how
- 16:17Speaker 1: about that? All right, we're moving on on that note.
- 16:20Speaker 1: You certainly are not trying to help these people, all right, Sorry,
- 16:23Speaker 1: and Rally says, I'm a recent college grad and my
- 16:27Speaker 1: girlfriend is a sophomore. My parents think I should break
- 16:30Speaker 1: up with her since she's an underclassman, but I don't
- 16:33Speaker 1: see age as an issue. We have great chemistry and
- 16:36Speaker 1: we're both upstanding from sex, so I know she genuinely
- 16:39Speaker 1: loves me. My dad tells me this is the time
- 16:43Speaker 1: in my life to have sex with a lot of women,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but I'm not into that. Well, well, I regret being
- 16:50Speaker 1: in love so young. What could I possibly be missing
- 16:53Speaker 1: out on? What your trying to get you? So you
- 17:00Speaker 1: he could live his life through you. Obviously, your dad
- 17:03Speaker 1: didn't have a whole lot of sex, and he wants
- 17:06Speaker 1: you to go out and have a lot of sex
- 17:08Speaker 1: and then come back and tell your dad about it.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Don't tell you mama that your mama can't handle it,
- 17:13Speaker 1: all right, but your dad is ready for this information,
- 17:18Speaker 1: a lot of sex. Your dad needs to hear this.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Your dad wants your head. So that's my boy. I mean,
- 17:27Speaker 1: you probably never gave him, your dad a nice Father's
- 17:29Speaker 1: Day gift. This would be a nice gift for your daddy. Boy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: This is better than a car, way better than a car.
- 17:37Speaker 1: That's what time do you know for your son? Son? Son,
- 17:45Speaker 1: sit down and tell daddy what you did last night.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Come so you say she was hanging on the chandowli. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 1: by the time of your mind to get out the
- 17:54Speaker 1: room on the talking tell my son go ahead on.
- 18:02Speaker 1: We're moving on to Beno in Atlanta. Zeno says, I'm
- 18:07Speaker 1: sixty two years old. I'm a maintenance supervisor at an
- 18:10Speaker 1: upscale office building. The other night, one of the elevators
- 18:13Speaker 1: got stuck on the basement level, and I went to
- 18:16Speaker 1: the basement and saw two guys that work on the
- 18:18Speaker 1: seventeenth floor taking laptops and TVs out of a cart
- 18:23Speaker 1: and stashing them in boxes. I told one of the
- 18:26Speaker 1: guys that I let them slide if he gave me
- 18:28Speaker 1: a TV. He said nope, and offered me a hundred
- 18:31Speaker 1: dollars instead. Should I blow the whistle on them? Or
- 18:34Speaker 1: is it hell? You're helping boy? Go back there and
- 18:42Speaker 1: get that hundred dollars? And I can't. You ain't telling
- 18:51Speaker 1: nobody a damn thing like, hey, Barden, look ahead, look ahead, man,
- 18:55Speaker 1: how about that? Honey? Can I still get that hunted? Nope? No,
- 19:01Speaker 1: It was pretty bold of him to say no, though,
- 19:05Speaker 1: pretty bold. So so keep your mouth shut and take
- 19:11Speaker 1: and going by Joe, damn buses many still available? All right,
- 19:17Speaker 1: Oh wait a minute, I just helped somebody, damn it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I yeah, you did, you did. But it was a
- 19:25Speaker 1: kind of a bad help though, Yeah it was bad. Yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 1: it wasn't a good help. If you know what I mean.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Help happens. You can't help hip in all right, here
- 19:37Speaker 1: we go. Teresa in Chicago says, I'm in my mid
- 19:41Speaker 1: thirties and I've been giving up the goods to a
- 19:43Speaker 1: married man for a few months, and his wife found
- 19:46Speaker 1: out and showed up at my house one night. While
- 19:48Speaker 1: he was there, I let her in and we got
- 19:51Speaker 1: in a physical altercation. I let her inside my home
- 19:54Speaker 1: for the sole purpose of whipping her because she had
- 19:58Speaker 1: been putting her husband through hell for the last year,
- 20:01Speaker 1: and she burst his lip um not too long ago.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Her husband is upset with me for jumping on her,
- 20:08Speaker 1: so he's been distant lately. How can he choose her side?
- 20:12Speaker 1: Can't look? I don't know. I don't know the rules
- 20:14Speaker 1: of all the rules of cheating. We know this rule.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I know this rule. You can't whoop the wifes behind
- 20:22Speaker 1: and then do it with the man. It just don't
- 20:26Speaker 1: get that in the book that now, can't you can't.
- 20:29Speaker 1: You can't whoop the wife behind and expect the hohob
- 20:32Speaker 1: and to be back over there tomorrow. Eaton. I don't know.
- 20:35Speaker 1: There might be a there might be a new book.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Tell me that we know nothing about it. But I
- 20:39Speaker 1: don't think this works. I just don't that. You know
- 20:43Speaker 1: so now not as two places he can't go? You
- 20:46Speaker 1: know what I mean? You have in her house? All right?
- 20:52Speaker 1: Thank you, bitter man for your non helping once again.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Coming up next and as the nephew would run that
- 20:58Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening she's a Stave
- 21:02Speaker 1: Harvey Morning show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:05Speaker 1: Miss Anne is standing by with today's national news. But plus,
- 21:10Speaker 1: I should say in entertainment news, maybe a button goes
- 21:13Speaker 1: in here as well. Our Kelly sex trafficking trial in
- 21:16Speaker 1: New York City is about to begin, and an other
- 21:19Speaker 1: entertainment news. Jennifer Hudson recalls the final conversation she had
- 21:24Speaker 1: with the Queen of Soul, Arita Franklin. We'll talk about
- 21:27Speaker 1: all of these stories at the top of the hour,
- 21:28Speaker 1: but right now, the nephew is here with today's run
- 21:31Speaker 1: that prank back what you got for his neff baby ship,
- 21:35Speaker 1: baby baby chicks, Baby chick, cheah, baby chick. Let's go, kid,
- 21:42Speaker 1: Thank you for coming. I'm trying to reach Warn the
- 21:45Speaker 1: manage one second place, which is wan you calling help? Yeah?
- 21:50Speaker 1: You are you the manager there? Yes, sir, your nin
- 21:53Speaker 1: Warn Yes one. Okay. I need to actually file a
- 21:56Speaker 1: lawsuit on y'all, and I'm actually calling you for to
- 22:00Speaker 1: let you know that I'm getting ready to file a
- 22:02Speaker 1: lawsuit on the whole grocery store for what did happened
- 22:05Speaker 1: to me? Let me let me get hold on a
- 22:09Speaker 1: second so let me do this. Let me let me
- 22:11Speaker 1: have what what did you say? Your name was? My
- 22:13Speaker 1: name is Evans. Evans is my name, so Evans is
- 22:17Speaker 1: your last name. Let me let me write this down.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And you came into my store? Did you have an
- 22:23Speaker 1: accident my store or something? I just have to show
- 22:25Speaker 1: what you're calling about. I ain't had no accident. What
- 22:28Speaker 1: album was? I came in there yesterday and I bought
- 22:31Speaker 1: a bunch of groceres and I bought a card in
- 22:33Speaker 1: the eggs right now. When I got home, I was
- 22:37Speaker 1: checking to make sure the eggs didn't didn't break on
- 22:39Speaker 1: the way home. When I got home, it was a
- 22:41Speaker 1: baby chick inside the egg cardon Man, one of the
- 22:45Speaker 1: eggs had it had a hatch, and got my kids traumatized.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Now they don't even want to eat breakfast or nothing
- 22:51Speaker 1: around here because it's a baby chick inside caught the eggs.
- 22:55Speaker 1: That don't make no sense, man, Um, I don't mean
- 22:59Speaker 1: to let me so you tell me it was a chicken,
- 23:02Speaker 1: a baby chicken, actual chicken, and a baby chick inside
- 23:06Speaker 1: the cart and the eggs man, and you got my
- 23:09Speaker 1: kids traumatized. Man, don't nobody what got eggs? If you're
- 23:12Speaker 1: just here, because if you're just calmed down for one second,
- 23:16Speaker 1: listen what I told y'all put that chicken down and
- 23:20Speaker 1: then put it down, it might have ray b say what.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I don't even think that that's possible. First of all,
- 23:27Speaker 1: if you hadn't any idea how this thing comes from
- 23:30Speaker 1: the farm to the store, it is. They go over
- 23:34Speaker 1: these eggs a countless summer times, and the temperature and
- 23:37Speaker 1: the freezer. First of all, wasn't even allow for a
- 23:40Speaker 1: chicken to be allied if you had a baby. I
- 23:43Speaker 1: don't I did this one, this one. I don't know
- 23:46Speaker 1: how this one got tasked the system, okay, But what
- 23:50Speaker 1: I do know is we got a baby chick over
- 23:52Speaker 1: here running around because y'all so ain't doing what y'all's
- 23:57Speaker 1: supposed to do. Man, and I got it, And now
- 23:58Speaker 1: my kids a traumatized behind this. When did you say
- 24:01Speaker 1: you were in here? So I was in there yesterday.
- 24:03Speaker 1: I bought the eggs y today. Man down here at Halmtree, Yes,
- 24:09Speaker 1: I bought him except the grocery stove, I sure did. Okay,
- 24:13Speaker 1: let's do this. Why don't you bring the eggs into me?
- 24:16Speaker 1: And the chick guy want me to transport a baby
- 24:19Speaker 1: chick back to the grocery store. I look, we already
- 24:23Speaker 1: traumatized over here, already behind this dog bone baby chick. Man,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I'm I'm not exactly sure what you were trying to
- 24:31Speaker 1: pull here, but I just don't I don't think that.
- 24:34Speaker 1: First of all, any anyone of a common sense will
- 24:37Speaker 1: tell you that that's not possible. First of all, you
- 24:40Speaker 1: can't have a baby chick living in a dozen eggs.
- 24:44Speaker 1: There is no possible way that this. The temperature and
- 24:47Speaker 1: live freezers are ripe above freezing. There's no chickens or
- 24:51Speaker 1: fragile creature in the first place. You can't have a
- 24:54Speaker 1: little bird is not gonna survive the transport from the
- 24:57Speaker 1: farm to the factory to my store. But I'm not
- 25:01Speaker 1: kicking weird. Look, hey, hey, hey, I'm not gonna go
- 25:05Speaker 1: back and forth. But you remember that baby shit you by.
- 25:08Speaker 1: If you want to bring me a dozen eggs, bring
- 25:10Speaker 1: the bazen eggs in. If you can catch the chick,
- 25:13Speaker 1: catch the chick. Hey, man, you came you. You're supposed
- 25:15Speaker 1: to be the manager. You're not supposed to talk to
- 25:17Speaker 1: me like this. So I mean, I don't tell you
- 25:19Speaker 1: as politely as possible if you want to bring in
- 25:22Speaker 1: the lemon eggs and a chick. I will gladly refront
- 25:26Speaker 1: your money, give you another car, and ask whatever you
- 25:28Speaker 1: want to do. But I'm not. I don't even tell
- 25:29Speaker 1: you what I don't happen. But I'm not a lawsuit
- 25:32Speaker 1: because y'all to traumatized me and my chick. So listen, right,
- 25:36Speaker 1: let's just bring this down a lawsuit, sir. It over
- 25:40Speaker 1: a dozen eggs. It dozen eggs that got a baby chick.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Hit it man, But let me let me get your
- 25:48Speaker 1: phone number as some information, and I will call to
- 25:51Speaker 1: my manager and we will figure this thing out for you,
- 25:54Speaker 1: because I just I just don't believe that this would
- 25:57Speaker 1: be possible. I just I don't understand how you would
- 26:00Speaker 1: have a chick let him. Let just leave him over that,
- 26:04Speaker 1: don't touch the chicken that. I just don't believe that
- 26:07Speaker 1: this could possibly be happy, sir. This is it's unbelievable
- 26:10Speaker 1: to me even getting this fun. I don't have time
- 26:13Speaker 1: to go back and forth with you about how something happened.
- 26:17Speaker 1: All I know is it Maybe it's some fluke accident, okay,
- 26:20Speaker 1: but it happened. My kids are old here playing with
- 26:23Speaker 1: a baby chick and I'm trauma taut. I don't even
- 26:27Speaker 1: want to ever have brekfast up again. And I'm gonna
- 26:30Speaker 1: to make joke I file a lawsuit on your show
- 26:33Speaker 1: and your show me, I don't concise anything to do
- 26:37Speaker 1: with me. I didn't do anything except coming to Ruth today.
- 26:41Speaker 1: You understand what I'm saying. If you want to fill
- 26:43Speaker 1: a lawsuit filing a lawsuit, I'm throwing up to on
- 26:47Speaker 1: the grocery stove, and I'm founding a lawsuit on the
- 26:49Speaker 1: manager Warren, which is your for giving me a hard
- 26:53Speaker 1: time about what I'm telling you don't happen. I don't
- 26:56Speaker 1: even got a hard time out of meal as you'm story.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I'm saying you are a hard time. Come down here
- 27:00Speaker 1: with day. I'm bringing the bags down here and I'm

- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm bringing out all of it well proof because I'm
- 27:09Speaker 1: about to see it. How much did you pay for

- 27:22Speaker 1: I want to cut this out here and line. Legitimate
- 27:24Speaker 1: people are my attenses and not something drop from the
- 27:27Speaker 1: telephone telling about some chicken and a driving egg. Okay,
- 27:30Speaker 1: well let me let me tell you this too. Do
- 27:33Speaker 1: you have a guy that works at the checkout name Tyrant? Yes? Okay,

- 29:19Speaker 1: You're listening to Save Harvey Morning show. Well, guys. In
- 29:25Speaker 1: entertainment news, Jennifer Hudson earned the right to play Aretha
- 29:29Speaker 1: Franklin in the biopic Respect the old fashioned way. She
- 29:33Speaker 1: earned it by getting the nod from the Queen of
- 29:35Speaker 1: Soul herself. That's right. The two began conversations years ago,
- 29:40Speaker 1: shortly after Jennifer won the Oscar for her star making
- 29:43Speaker 1: Turn and Dream Girls back in two seven. They stayed
- 29:47Speaker 1: in touch and became longtime friends. They would speak on
- 29:51Speaker 1: nearly a weekly basis. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer
- 29:55Speaker 1: Hudson recalled her last conversation with the Queen. It was
- 29:58Speaker 1: a chat that happened days before her passing at seventy
- 30:02Speaker 1: six August sixteenth, twenty eighteen. Jennifer says, the last time
- 30:08Speaker 1: I heard her voice was August eighth. It's odd that
- 30:11Speaker 1: we're here again on August eighth, three years later. Right
- 30:15Speaker 1: after we spoke, they told me she was no longer
- 30:17Speaker 1: competent enough to speak, but she sang to me on
- 30:20Speaker 1: our call, and we talked about my son and his cooking.
- 30:23Speaker 1: She loves to cook, and so does he. I sent
- 30:26Speaker 1: her a video of him cooking. And I truly miss
- 30:29Speaker 1: hearing from her. And of course we cannot wait to
- 30:32Speaker 1: see really really really looking forward to saying respect in
- 30:38Speaker 1: theaters August thirteenth. And just a sidebar, I'm really not
- 30:43Speaker 1: looking forward to seeing Candy Man. Oh you know they're
- 30:47Speaker 1: doing a remaking Candy Man. Yeah, they're remaking it, So
- 30:51Speaker 1: you can't say that in the mirror. Five times I
- 30:57Speaker 1: thought it was three times, and none of the movie
- 30:59Speaker 1: that says five Well years later, years later, so maybe
- 31:05Speaker 1: the game. Yeah you can see it. Stop. Okay, don't
- 31:10Speaker 1: say it at all. You gotta say candy Man named fire,
- 31:14Speaker 1: tell you know how long will tape him to get there?
- 31:16Speaker 1: That's too long. Don't say it at all. Okay, moving on,
- 31:19Speaker 1: Moving on, Candyman getting Is he walking? I mean he
- 31:24Speaker 1: took an uber? I think? Is this is this Jordan?
- 31:27Speaker 1: Is this Jordan Peele? Yes, this is him. It's gonna
- 31:30Speaker 1: be good, dude and interesting. Yeah, but I'm not gonna
- 31:35Speaker 1: want to What's that's true? That's true, You've got me?
- 31:42Speaker 1: And other entertainment is we are really moving on? I'm
- 31:44Speaker 1: so scared right now? And other entertainment news. The first
- 31:47Speaker 1: phase of r Kelly's trial for alleged sex trafficking has
- 31:51Speaker 1: begun with jury selection in New York City, following several
- 31:54Speaker 1: delays caused in part by the coronavirus pandemic and a
- 31:58Speaker 1: shake up of r Kelly's defense team. Opening statements are
- 32:03Speaker 1: expected to start on August eighteenth. Wow, Wow, that's next wine.
- 32:09Speaker 1: They can do opening statement and closing statement and gilt
- 32:16Speaker 1: guilt that's where he's coming through. That's where he's going
- 32:22Speaker 1: through the court. When he's when he's leaving the jail,
- 32:25Speaker 1: going to the court house, calling step step round around,
- 32:30Speaker 1: Were done? Were done with him? Okay? Yes? Yeah again.
- 32:36Speaker 1: Opening statements are expected to start August eighteenth, that is
- 32:39Speaker 1: next week. Yeah. Um, and again you can get it
- 32:43Speaker 1: over with August nineteenth. Do you open with? What do
- 32:48Speaker 1: you open with? Wait? Here's Jay? Thank you, Thank you Jay, Jay,
- 33:03Speaker 1: everybody and Jerry Bob's got the alls folded, yeah, right,
- 33:07Speaker 1: said everybody. If you can fly nine At the time,
- 33:16Speaker 1: he said that on one of the comments I read.
- 33:18Speaker 1: That was funny. That's all right, come on, Jay, it's
- 33:25Speaker 1: time for today's headline. All right, everybody, it's time for
- 33:28Speaker 1: the news with miss Anne Trip, and thank you very much.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is Anne Trip. Secretary of Defense
- 33:34Speaker 1: Lloyd Austin wants all members of the US military vaccinated
- 33:38Speaker 1: and has recommended that idea to President Biden. That's one
- 33:41Speaker 1: point three million active duty service members, about seventy percent
- 33:45Speaker 1: of the US military men and women, I need to
- 33:47Speaker 1: tell you have already received at least one shot. Okay,
- 33:50Speaker 1: And it looks like the President likes the idea. In
- 33:53Speaker 1: other words, get ready. According to Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby,
- 33:56Speaker 1: you can consider this memo today as what we would
- 33:59Speaker 1: call in the military area warning order, a warning order
- 34:01Speaker 1: to the force that this is coming. And this comes
- 34:05Speaker 1: just days after mister Biden announced that all federal employees
- 34:08Speaker 1: had to be vaccinated or subjected to frequent testing. The
- 34:12Speaker 1: US is currently averaging more than one hundred thousand new
- 34:15Speaker 1: COVID nineteen cases every day. Meanwhile, a federal judge has
- 34:19Speaker 1: ruled at the Norwegian cruise Line can require all its
- 34:22Speaker 1: passengers to be vaccinated when one of its ships sails
- 34:25Speaker 1: from Miami next week. That's a slap in the face
- 34:28Speaker 1: to a Florida Governor DeSantis, who's pushed for a ban
- 34:32Speaker 1: on what he calls vaccine passports. Florida's passed a law
- 34:35Speaker 1: even banning businesses from acquiring customers to be inoculated. That
- 34:40Speaker 1: cruise line file suit, by the way, challenging Florida's law,
- 34:42Speaker 1: and yes, looks like they won. A woman named Virginia
- 34:45Speaker 1: Geffrey or Giffrey, has a filed suit in Manhattan yesterday
- 34:50Speaker 1: accusing Prince Andrew. That's Queen Elizabeth's other son of sexually
- 34:54Speaker 1: abusing her when she was seventeen years old. Virginia Giffrey
- 34:57Speaker 1: says she was recruited by the late the late Jeffrey Epstein,
- 35:03Speaker 1: who was a sexual trafficker, accused anyway, and that he
- 35:07Speaker 1: had she had sex with him on many occasions. Jeffrey
- 35:10Speaker 1: Epstein hung himself in twenty nineteen as he awaited a
- 35:13Speaker 1: trove for trafficking minors. Interestingly, British press continues to hound
- 35:17Speaker 1: poor Megan Markle and Prince Harry. They've said next to
- 35:20Speaker 1: nothing about Prince Andrew's admitted friendship with this guy Epstein,
- 35:23Speaker 1: which came out two years ago. The Democratic Texas lawmakers
- 35:27Speaker 1: who fled to Washington, d C. In order to keep
- 35:29Speaker 1: Republicans from passing restrict of voting legislation can return now
- 35:33Speaker 1: without fear of arrest, thanks to a ruling by a
- 35:35Speaker 1: judge who's actually a restraining order preventing the rest of
- 35:38Speaker 1: any of the state legislatures upon their return. In Memphis,

- 35:44Speaker 1: second to be murdered for killing an unarmed black man
- 35:46Speaker 1: because the black man refused to turn his car radio down.
- 35:49Speaker 1: And finally, one of the founding members are cool in
- 35:52Speaker 1: the gang. Dennis D. T. Thomas has died at age
- 35:54Speaker 1: seventy et. Thomas was the saxophonist. He died at his
- 35:58Speaker 1: home in Montclair, New Jersey. Back to Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 36:22Speaker 1: let you go somewhere deep deep into the mind, deep
- 36:25Speaker 1: into the mind of the one only Jay Anthony Brown.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Buckle up and hold on tight. You're in for a ride.
- 36:33Speaker 1: First of all, i'd like to thank everybody who came
- 36:35Speaker 1: out to the J Spot last night to celebrate the reopening.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Thank all your comedians, what, thank you? All right, trying
- 36:42Speaker 1: to make this work. If COVID don't shut us down,
- 36:44Speaker 1: we're gonna have a go all right, all right, And
- 36:46Speaker 1: I saw this is twenty first. I'll be in Charlotte,
- 36:48Speaker 1: North Carolina. But right now I'd like to talk to
- 36:51Speaker 1: the men who are in shape. Big dude, run two
- 36:54Speaker 1: eighty two sixty maybe two seven to five. And you're
- 36:58Speaker 1: in a relationship with the woman who has a small dog.
- 37:02Speaker 1: And I've seen you out there walking this damn lot
- 37:06Speaker 1: of them. I've seen the expression on your face, and
- 37:09Speaker 1: I feel you. I trust me, I know what you're
- 37:12Speaker 1: going through. You don't like this dog, and this dog
- 37:16Speaker 1: don't like you. I've seen it. But you got to
- 37:19Speaker 1: walk that damn dog. You got a dog bigger the
- 37:23Speaker 1: dog ain't even bigger your foot. And you don't even
- 37:25Speaker 1: know if you can't see the dog till you go
- 37:27Speaker 1: around and you go, oh, there's a there's a nice
- 37:30Speaker 1: little dog. And it just hurts my heart for these
- 37:33Speaker 1: men to have to walk these damn dog But you

- 37:56Speaker 1: got tattoos all on your arm and your neck, just
- 38:00Speaker 1: sticking you, wasting you out there walking that damn dog.
- 38:04Speaker 1: But you got to walk that damn dog. You gotta
- 38:08Speaker 1: get out there, because that's what love is to you.
- 38:12Speaker 1: You say, well, hey, hey, hey, hey, and I'm seeing you.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, part now you doing wanting the dog?
- 38:21Speaker 1: And he got that bank. It never never shield from
- 38:24Speaker 1: when you speak to him, Hey man, ain you doing?
- 38:26Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm just that walk that dog? Because here
- 38:30Speaker 1: it is. If you don't walk that dog, uh one o'clock,
- 38:34Speaker 1: two o'clock, whenever she said go walk the damn dog,
- 38:36Speaker 1: you don't get to see the cat. If you know,
- 38:40Speaker 1: if you don't, you don't walk the dog, you don't
- 38:46Speaker 1: get to see the cat. Da Are you quite done?
- 38:56Speaker 1: You got you gotta wait with that one is looking
- 38:59Speaker 1: at you. So with that one, it's it's a song.
- 39:08Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, jay, I love the wildness all right.
- 39:15Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:18Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this.
- 39:21Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. As children
- 39:25Speaker 1: start back to school, there is an alarming rise in cases.
- 39:29Speaker 1: This situation will get worse before it gets better. Talking
- 39:33Speaker 1: of course, about this new Delta variant and how it
- 39:36Speaker 1: is affecting children. COVID nineteen is not just an elderly virus. Now,
- 39:40Speaker 1: pediatric hospitalizations are up at an alarming rate. Now politicians
- 39:46Speaker 1: are playing with public health. In the state of Florida,
- 39:49Speaker 1: Governor Ron De Santis, his office said Monday that the
- 39:53Speaker 1: state Board of Education could move to withhold the salaries. Keith,
- 39:57Speaker 1: guys believe this are going to withhold allaries, moving to
- 40:01Speaker 1: it anyway, possibly voting on it, to withhold the salaries
- 40:04Speaker 1: of superintendents and school board members who disregard his executive
- 40:09Speaker 1: order prohibiting mask mandates for school districts. What is going
- 40:13Speaker 1: on in Florida? The state of Texas, Governor Abbott has
- 40:16Speaker 1: threatened to find Texas school districts COVID numbers are high, um,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and listen, the COVID war is still going on. This
- 40:25Speaker 1: is craziness right with people's sanity. And children are precious babies, now, yes,
- 40:31Speaker 1: yes they are. And people aren't talking about this, you know,
- 40:35Speaker 1: but you know what they're weird. You know, these governors there,
- 40:39Speaker 1: they are the first to say they don't want the
- 40:40Speaker 1: federal government telling them what to do with how to
- 40:43Speaker 1: govern their area and in their state. But now you're
- 40:47Speaker 1: telling these superintendents who are supposed to make these schools safe.
- 40:52Speaker 1: That's what what's in most of these states constitutions for
- 40:56Speaker 1: them to provide a safe environment for our children to
- 41:01Speaker 1: go to school. But you want to tell the superintendence
- 41:04Speaker 1: how to do their job to keep their schools safe.
- 41:06Speaker 1: It's the same thing. And if they don't do it,
- 41:09Speaker 1: we're gonna withhold your salary. We're get disgusting and horrific job.
- 41:18Speaker 1: The other thing about not wanting government assistance. As soon
- 41:21Speaker 1: as a hurricane or a tournado or range first or
- 41:23Speaker 1: whatever hits your city, you call the government. So government
- 41:27Speaker 1: assistance you really, especially for natural disasters, you are correct about, right, Yeah,
- 41:33Speaker 1: go ahead, And Tommy No, I was just saying, you're
- 41:35Speaker 1: trying to tell them how to do their job and
- 41:37Speaker 1: you ain't good at doing your own damn job. But
- 41:39Speaker 1: you can't tell him that because he has his eyes
- 41:42Speaker 1: on the White House. He has his eyes on the
- 41:45Speaker 1: White House. Trust both governors, both both it's like having
- 41:50Speaker 1: a descent, like they talk like when you make a move,
- 41:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna make the move right behind. Yeah. It's like
- 41:55Speaker 1: they're boys, right, they're texting each other. Okay, I did that.
- 41:59Speaker 1: Now you do it. Now you do that, and then
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'll do this. What the game play with people's lives?
- 42:06Speaker 1: What's wrong? We're protecting our children. If these children that
- 42:10Speaker 1: are twelve and under can't get vaccinated yet, what is
- 42:13Speaker 1: wrong with them wearing a mask to school, what's the
- 42:16Speaker 1: big deal? They did it last year. It's more important
- 42:19Speaker 1: to them. It's about say that we're free. Yeah, it's
- 42:22Speaker 1: about power and to say we're free, we're free to choose.
- 42:25Speaker 1: We're free, We're free, We're free to choose. That's what's
- 42:28Speaker 1: most important to them, because you are speaking to their base.
- 42:31Speaker 1: They think that's what their constituents want to hear. Politicizing
- 42:35Speaker 1: public health. So that's what you're doing. You're politicizing wearing
- 42:38Speaker 1: a mask. That's what their leader started all of this.
- 42:42Speaker 1: You know, here's where we are. You know, at the
- 42:46Speaker 1: end of the day, they refuse to admit that they
- 42:48Speaker 1: wrongly affused to admit anything about the election. They refuse
- 42:51Speaker 1: to admit anything about it. So they're riding this to
- 42:53Speaker 1: the wheels fall off. They gonna stick with it. Whatever
- 42:56Speaker 1: we whatever, whatever is for the people. They are against it,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and their ultimate goal, Tommy, is for next year's mid
- 43:05Speaker 1: term elections. They want to win that, and then in
- 43:08Speaker 1: twenty twenty four, of course they want Trump to run
- 43:11Speaker 1: again and be reelected. That's it. They're trying to keep
- 43:15Speaker 1: their Republican base and all those millions, seventy something millions
- 43:20Speaker 1: of people who voted for Trump. They want to keep
- 43:22Speaker 1: them where they are, so if and they want to
- 43:25Speaker 1: make Biden look bad, and they're definitely sabotaging him. You're
- 43:32Speaker 1: absolutely right, because it was going along well and then
- 43:35Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you know, Noe. Then here comes
- 43:39Speaker 1: to Santis and here comes abbot again with this craziness.
- 43:43Speaker 1: It isn't this upsetting, but you have to do as
- 43:46Speaker 1: a parent. And then my daughter's getting ready go back
- 43:48Speaker 1: to school. Tommy, your kids are getting go back to school.
- 43:51Speaker 1: They're wining mask. Yeah, and my daughter's vaccinated. She's thirteen.
- 43:56Speaker 1: She's fortunate. But it's just unbelievable that they are playing
- 44:01Speaker 1: with this delta variant and how contagious it is and
- 44:04Speaker 1: affecting the children. It really is all right, we're gonna
- 44:08Speaker 1: move on. Switch gears here bring some comedy into this
- 44:11Speaker 1: situation we needed right about now. Coming up next, the
- 44:14Speaker 1: nephew with the prank phone call. Right after this, you're
- 44:17Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 44:21Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after,
- 44:23Speaker 1: it's my strawberry letter for today, the subject, Oh, my lord,
- 44:28Speaker 1: to get a load of this subject. It takes three
- 44:30Speaker 1: men to do one job. Wow. Huh, huh huh. We'll
- 44:36Speaker 1: get into it, and just a few right now though,
- 44:39Speaker 1: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. What
- 44:42Speaker 1: you got for us? This is the This is the
- 44:45Speaker 1: ultimate Ussher right here. It is the ultimate us, all
- 44:49Speaker 1: of us that grew up in the black chairs growing up.
- 44:52Speaker 1: This right here is that Ussher. All right. This ain't Usher,
- 44:57Speaker 1: that's in laws Banca. That ain't that us. This is
- 44:59Speaker 1: the USHA, Okay, church in their right. Yes, yes, she
- 45:08Speaker 1: don't a Pizza native. If you look close, she says
- 45:11Speaker 1: that I don't a pizza native. All right, here we
- 45:13Speaker 1: go the Usha. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach your sister.
- 45:21Speaker 1: How you doing. Good? Good evening to you, ma'am. I
- 45:24Speaker 1: don't mean to be giving you a call this late
- 45:26Speaker 1: in the evening, but I am the new youth Minister.
- 45:29Speaker 1: I haven't. My name is Sean Williams. Over at Missionary
- 45:33Speaker 1: Baptist Church, which mine is new Youth. What happened to Um?
- 45:39Speaker 1: He's no longer with the church anymore? Man, No, no,
- 45:45Speaker 1: well I'm not at liberty to speak upon that. But
- 45:48Speaker 1: but what I was doing is getting around and making
- 45:51Speaker 1: sure I met everyone because I haven't met everyone yet
- 45:54Speaker 1: and I wanted to reach out to um everyone at
- 45:58Speaker 1: the church. But listen, let me let me get down
- 46:00Speaker 1: to some more business, because obviously I've spoken with the pasta.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Uh we spoke yes, Bishop, yes, man, I know you knew,
- 46:10Speaker 1: but it's bishop Okay. I spoke with him on yesterday,
- 46:14Speaker 1: and we have narrowed some things down over a few
- 46:18Speaker 1: changes we're going to be making at the church. And
- 46:21Speaker 1: what we want to do is UM. One of the
- 46:23Speaker 1: major subjects that have come up sus toles that we're
- 46:27Speaker 1: wanting you if at all possible, and the deacons were
- 46:30Speaker 1: in on this meeting as well, but wanting you to
- 46:33Speaker 1: change your attitude when people are coming in and you're
- 46:36Speaker 1: seating them. From my understanding, it's gotten to the point
- 46:39Speaker 1: where they think you're wait wait wait wait wait, wait
- 46:41Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait, thank you. I've had a meeting
- 46:43Speaker 1: on meeting. Well it wasn't a meeting. I don't want
- 46:46Speaker 1: to listen here. I've been ushering on that on a
- 46:49Speaker 1: usher board before the seven years. I am the singing
- 46:53Speaker 1: up on that usher board, and I I've been trying
- 46:56Speaker 1: to do nuts about it. But I don't understand how
- 46:58Speaker 1: y'all don't have a meeting without me. That's it. Now
- 47:03Speaker 1: you're gonna call hire and tell me that you're gonna
- 47:06Speaker 1: you having a meeting on me about he being nice,
- 47:09Speaker 1: always nice, Well, ma'am, that doesn't seem to be a
- 47:12Speaker 1: problem with that sounds twenty seven man, And they gonna
- 47:17Speaker 1: some bar to call me. Don't make no type of one?
- 47:23Speaker 1: What is it? Well? What that's actually my call, man,
- 47:26Speaker 1: is that maybe we figured if I would call and
- 47:28Speaker 1: speak with you about the matter, that maybe we can
- 47:30Speaker 1: get to some type of rectifying this situation to where
- 47:35Speaker 1: we can We're gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify you
- 47:38Speaker 1: calling me this time a night taught my some meeting.
- 47:42Speaker 1: This don't make no time. And I don't appretionate you
- 47:45Speaker 1: calling me any time a night away? Is Bishop? I
- 47:49Speaker 1: need to speak the bishop. Bishop that actually I've been
- 47:54Speaker 1: at this churchapart of seven years. I would say Oh
- 47:56Speaker 1: my life, this don't make no type of sense. You
- 47:58Speaker 1: calling me here with this male's it's often to make
- 48:01Speaker 1: me because I'm trying to be a Christian. But y'all
- 48:05Speaker 1: not gonna ask me to be a Christian. It you
- 48:07Speaker 1: just gonna just gonna agitate me with this meth telling
- 48:10Speaker 1: me about something be nice. That's something that they're having
- 48:13Speaker 1: problems when you're seating the people, and that's all that
- 48:15Speaker 1: we're trying to get rectified. People don't want to sit down.
- 48:19Speaker 1: They want to go over here, they want to go
- 48:20Speaker 1: over there. They want to have the children runner too.
- 48:22Speaker 1: And for it's like a bunch of demons a while
- 48:25Speaker 1: he's bucking around in a church like they ain't got
- 48:27Speaker 1: no sense. And I'm not gonna have it in my section.
- 48:30Speaker 1: My section is gonna be straight. And I understand. Let
- 48:33Speaker 1: you know what, since the I think if we did this,
- 48:37Speaker 1: if you would do me a favor and hold your phone,
- 48:39Speaker 1: and if you would just bow your head right now
- 48:41Speaker 1: for me, maybe we can come to to get to
- 48:44Speaker 1: get the man. What am I bound my head for?
- 48:47Speaker 1: I ain't clean, baby. If we can get your lords,
- 48:52Speaker 1: it's clean, it's hospital carpet. It don't make no, if
- 48:55Speaker 1: I buy my head, if you could, maybe, if you
- 48:57Speaker 1: could close your eyes since I'm not close, said you
- 49:02Speaker 1: call me and woke up out of my feet with
- 49:04Speaker 1: this mass meeting. I am very annoyed at this and
- 49:07Speaker 1: I don't appreciate it. I'm gonna tell you right now,
- 49:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna speak to me now. Father. We asked that
- 49:12Speaker 1: you look down upon stick. We asked that you look
- 49:15Speaker 1: down upon her right now, right now, asking that you
- 49:19Speaker 1: put a smile on her face on Sunday morning, asking
- 49:22Speaker 1: that you put some joy in her heart on Sunday morning,
- 49:25Speaker 1: and can let you draw all the pain that she
- 49:28Speaker 1: in the angles that she might be going through, whatever
- 49:31Speaker 1: demon there is inside, We asked that you draw that
- 49:34Speaker 1: demon out. We asked that you pour that demon went
- 49:37Speaker 1: away from stet right now in your name. We ask
- 49:42Speaker 1: all of these blessings to come because I don't appreciate
- 49:45Speaker 1: this boy. I don't even know who you is. You
- 49:48Speaker 1: high number. A pastor gave me the number one and
- 49:51Speaker 1: asked me to call I am like I said, I'm
- 49:52Speaker 1: Sean Williams. We haven't met yet, and I am the news. Listen.
- 49:55Speaker 1: He don't he don't, He don't ask that way and
- 49:57Speaker 1: it's bishop for the third time. I don't told you
- 50:00Speaker 1: boys be respectful of the folks. See that's what miss
- 50:03Speaker 1: me angry. Let me, let me, let me say this
- 50:06Speaker 1: right here, sister, and maybe this will shed some light

- 54:01Speaker 1: straw Berry Let us thank you, nephew. Back up just
- 54:06Speaker 1: a little bit. Okay, good stock subject, Thank you subject.
- 54:15Speaker 1: It takes three men to do one job. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I'm a forty four year old married woman and my
- 54:20Speaker 1: husband is incarcerated, so I'm raising our two sons alone.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I got a little help from my husband's family, but
- 54:26Speaker 1: they always complain, so I hate asking them for anything.
- 54:31Speaker 1: When my husband went in, his job paid out his
- 54:33Speaker 1: severance package and that held us over for a year.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I got a job, but it was hard keeping up
- 54:38Speaker 1: with the kids and a job, so my husband's boss
- 54:41Speaker 1: offered me another solution. He arranged for me to take
- 54:45Speaker 1: up my husband's root part time, so I started working
- 54:48Speaker 1: as a courier. I also got paid a nice salary
- 54:51Speaker 1: because not only do I deliver packages, I let my
- 54:54Speaker 1: husband's boss enjoy my package whenever he's in the mood.
- 54:59Speaker 1: It's been going on for two years, and he is
- 55:01Speaker 1: the best at what he does, so that's satisfying my
- 55:04Speaker 1: sexual need. I also have a thing for one of
- 55:07Speaker 1: my son's teachers because he noticed how my son's grades
- 55:11Speaker 1: change when my husband went away. He's been a great
- 55:14Speaker 1: mentor for my son, and I slipped up and gave
- 55:17Speaker 1: him a little bit of gratitude sex one day. It
- 55:20Speaker 1: wasn't bad at all, but I told him it could
- 55:23Speaker 1: never happen again. Now I can't get rid of him,
- 55:26Speaker 1: so I let him mentor my other son too. My
- 55:30Speaker 1: best friend and confidant cooks for us when I'm depressed
- 55:33Speaker 1: and feeling lonely. He's a great cook, and he gives
- 55:36Speaker 1: awesome foot massages. He'll stay overnight if I want to
- 55:40Speaker 1: have a girl's night, and I love coming home to
- 55:43Speaker 1: him in my bed. He gives me the romance I'm missing.
- 55:47Speaker 1: But I must admit I fought the feelings at first
- 55:50Speaker 1: because we've been friends for so long, with all of
- 55:53Speaker 1: my needs being met, I realized it takes three men
- 55:57Speaker 1: to fill my husband's shoes. How will I get my
- 55:59Speaker 1: life back on track when my husband is released next summer.
- 56:03Speaker 1: I'm loving the way things are. Now, what should I do?
- 56:07Speaker 1: You should probably divorce your husband, okay, because you are
- 56:11Speaker 1: wild and right now you are wilding. I mean, how
- 56:14Speaker 1: do you have time for all? Okay? This sounds like
- 56:18Speaker 1: one of those like crazy fantasy sexy erotic type movies.
- 56:23Speaker 1: This doesn't sound like someone's real life, It really doesn't.
- 56:26Speaker 1: It sounds like you're having a whole lot of fun, though,
- 56:29Speaker 1: I gotta throw that in there. It sounds like you're
- 56:31Speaker 1: having a good time. You don't feel guilty about cheating
- 56:33Speaker 1: on your husband, about sleeping with your son's mentor about nothing, nothing,
- 56:40Speaker 1: And why are you sleeping with these guys? I just
- 56:43Speaker 1: simply think it's because you want to. I just simply
- 56:46Speaker 1: think that's what it is. You're free, and they're there,
- 56:50Speaker 1: and it's there, so you're just doing it because you
- 56:53Speaker 1: certainly don't have to sleep with these guys. It's just
- 56:56Speaker 1: something you wanted to do. Because you didn't say these
- 56:59Speaker 1: men were pressure you or anything. You just you know,
- 57:02Speaker 1: your line was, I gave him a little what was it?
- 57:05Speaker 1: He gives me good foot massages and all that. You
- 57:08Speaker 1: gave him some gratitude sex one day. He didn't even
- 57:11Speaker 1: ask for it. You just gave it to him, So
- 57:15Speaker 1: they weren't pressuring you. And I know you say you
- 57:18Speaker 1: get lonely and depressed. Sometimes that's understandable. Your man is
- 57:21Speaker 1: locked up, you know, So no judgment. I'm lying. We're judging,
- 57:26Speaker 1: you know, we're judging you because this is a lot, girl,
- 57:29Speaker 1: This is a lot. But you know, I'm sure the
- 57:31Speaker 1: mail company helps you know in those areas when you
- 57:34Speaker 1: get lonely and depressed, the problem is you're getting caught up.
- 57:38Speaker 1: You're getting too caught up. And how are you going
- 57:40Speaker 1: to break this off with these guys. Your husband's coming
- 57:43Speaker 1: home next summer. You got to start that process. Now,
- 57:46Speaker 1: you got to get yourself together, Okay, and you better
- 57:49Speaker 1: hope to God that your husband doesn't find out what
- 57:52Speaker 1: you've been doing while he was in You never said
- 57:55Speaker 1: what your husband did to get in, so I hope
- 57:59Speaker 1: it wasn't anything super serious. You and these guys are
- 58:05Speaker 1: gonna be in a lot of trouble. But yeah, you
- 58:07Speaker 1: gotta break off with these guys. You gotta get your
- 58:09Speaker 1: life together, Honey. What kind of example are you showing
- 58:12Speaker 1: for your sons? This is a mess you've created, so
- 58:14Speaker 1: now you gotta fix it. Jay, First of all, I
- 58:19Speaker 1: kind of know what your husband went to jail for,
- 58:22Speaker 1: and it was like something federal where he stole some
- 58:25Speaker 1: money because he got paid from his job, and not
- 58:29Speaker 1: too many jobs pay you when you get locked up,
- 58:32Speaker 1: so and whatever he stole, it wasn't a whole lot
- 58:35Speaker 1: of money. So because it was only enough for you
- 58:37Speaker 1: to get by save six seven months, and so what
- 58:40Speaker 1: you're doing now, you're paying bills, and then I don't
- 58:44Speaker 1: care what Sharley said. You paying these bills the best
- 58:48Speaker 1: way you can. You delivering, and you're delivering and you're receiving.
- 58:54Speaker 1: So you you are doing that. You're doing what you
- 58:59Speaker 1: gotta do. You're delivering packages and you are receiving packages.
- 59:04Speaker 1: And I personally I ain't mad at you. Tell your
- 59:07Speaker 1: husband before you get out, because where he is now,
- 59:10Speaker 1: he ain't gonna act a food. So if he knows
- 59:12Speaker 1: now where he's locked up, you know he'll be restrained,
- 59:15Speaker 1: and you know he might get some more time and
- 59:17Speaker 1: that might help you out. Go there and tell him,
- 59:20Speaker 1: let him act a food in prison. Then that will
- 59:23Speaker 1: give you more time to do that. And then lay
- 59:26Speaker 1: it on think yeah, I'm sleeping with nine guys and
- 59:30Speaker 1: ain't doing enough that they way better men than you
- 59:33Speaker 1: will ever be all of Yeah, you know you know
- 59:36Speaker 1: your bet friend, I'm doing him too. How about that?
- 59:39Speaker 1: Not what's gonna happen. He's gonna go back in there,
- 59:42Speaker 1: acadamn food, get more time. That will allow you to
- 59:46Speaker 1: live the life if you are living now, I am
- 59:49Speaker 1: not mad at you. Girl. Do your thing. Do yo
- 59:54Speaker 1: as say do you do you? Yeah, all right, thank you, Jay.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Come on, Jo, just start yours off and then we'll
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: take a break. Came back, I hear with Jay saying, Sureley,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I appreciate what you've said, but let me just tell her.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: She said, what should I do? First? Thing you need
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: to stop doing is right? National radio shows what the
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: incriminate evid is in the letter? Hold that thought. We'll
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: have heart two of your response, and we'll also hear
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: from the nephew. Coming up at twenty three minutes after
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject it takes three men
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: to do one job. But we'll get back into it
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: All right, we have to recap today's strawberry letter, subject
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: it takes three men to do the job. Um, okay,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: listen to do one job. This is a forty four
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: year old woman. She's married, her husband is incarcerated. She's
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: raising her two sons alone. She gets a little help
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: from her husband's family, but they complain, so she hates
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: asking them. Her husband's boss offered her a job, and
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: so you know, she started sleeping with him. He didn't
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: ask her to. She just started sleeping with him. You know,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: she took over some of her husband's responsibilities at the job.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Then her son needed a mentor and he started mentoring
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: one of the teachers started mentoring him, so you know,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: she started sleeping with him, and then she wanted to
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: break it off, but he didn't want to, and so
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: she let him mentor her other son, and now she
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: can't get rid of him. Her best friend and confidence
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: is a cook, and when she's depressed and feeling lonely,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: he comes over and cooks for them, and he supplies
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: that romanticism that she needs. So she loves coming home
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: and seeing having him in her bed. So she's sleeping
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: with three guys her boss, her husband's boss, her son's teacher,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: slash mentor, and her best friend. So you know, she's
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: getting her romance done and you know, everything else done.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: And she says all her needs are being met, and
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she says it takes three men to fill her husband's shoes.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: So she wants to get her life back on track
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: now because her husband getting out is getting out next summer,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: so she wants to know what should she do. She
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: wants to know what should she do? What should we
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: got it. Yeah, So let me just say this this,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: and I'm not very smart. I'm not bright. I just
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: know a few things that the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: got a very big prison presence. Know that much. Steve
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: talked to a lot of inmates. Probably listen to the
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: show right now. And you probably need to stop writing
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: national radio shows with incriminating evidence in the letter. How
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: many curiers you think in jail has been an explosion?
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: How many curiers in jail are you working for your
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: husband ex boss? How many curies you think that I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: think they go eliminate it down. So how many curiers
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: in jail with service packages with two sons? I think
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: we pretty much know who you got. You're worried about
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: next summer? He knows this summer? What what did you do? Right? Hit? No,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: right now, I'm probably sure somebody's gonna get a phone
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: call after this letter over with. It probably gonna be you.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: That's all I'm gonna tell you. Don't write it the evidence.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: It ain't that mely curious in jail. All right, come on, Tommy,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: what you got, Let's hear your perspective. We're gonna we're
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: gonna keep this straight. You know what You are by
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: far the worst mother slash wife I have heard about
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: in a very long Who you are? You have no
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: loyalty to anybody. You don't have your food is. You
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: have no lawsty to your children. You think your kids
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: probably don't know what you're doing. I promise you they
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: don't know what you're doing. You have no loaysty to
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: your husband. You're not even loyal to the three men
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: that you're messing around with. You have no loyalty to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: any body. Your kids know exactly what you're doing. Okay,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: And I'm with Jake. I am with Jay on one thing.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I do think your husband did something federal. I think
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: your husband works for a courier, and I think when
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you let us know that, but he stole something of
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: one of them trucks, they got his butt in trouble.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: That's what happened. Okay, So now you're saying you didn't
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: picked up that job. So really, his old battles is
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: your new bottles? Who you messing around with? I got
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: that part. So now the teacher and who's also the
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: slash mentor? Now how is it that? Ye? But what
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: is he what is he meant? How is he mentoring
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: your children, like, is he telling them what me and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: your mama do with cool? That's part of growing up? Really,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: come on, man, you put this in your in your
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: kid's life. And then you got the cook who wants
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a cook that massages feet too? Who wants that not
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: at the same time. Yeah, I mean, but those two
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: don't never really go together. I'm just saying. So. It
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: just bothers me that you are you are, You cared
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: about nothing but yourself all you. And now you got
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: a husband who evidently was handling his boys when he
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: was out, who was being I'm assuming a good father
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: because you it takes you to more people to get
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: these boys right. He must have had them boys right,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: he must have been doing he did something wrong, got
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: that part. But this is the way you this is
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: this is how you take care of your man while
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: you gone, while he gone, so when he come back out,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: all you want to care about is is I ain't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: gonna be to get the love and I've been getting
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: that's how That's that's what's on your mind. Really, you
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: are the most trifling mamo wife I have heard of
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: in a very long time and depressed. Well, what about
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: your man that's locked up what about him? Do you
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: love that? Man? He's not there. He's not there. Okay, okay,
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: so out of sight, out of man, were cool with that?
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Everybody cool with that? Oh goodness is evidently, But but
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: did you you miss the last line? She's trying to
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: get her life back on track. Now she's had her fun.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: She's trying to get her life on back on track
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: because her husband's getting out. So you know, I tell
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you what she wants to know, A get out. I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: made that clear. He don't get out. So three persons
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: summer flying. We're gonna get past that, and nobody gonna
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: say nothing when he get out. Everything just peach people.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: That's how we're gonna do it. That's how we're gonna
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: do it. Because if this were a guy, I guarantee
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you your answer would be different. I guarantee you. I
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: don't think double standard. Don't double standard guys. All right,
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: all right, thank you guys. Anyway, Post your comments on

- 1:07:41Speaker 1: Last week we did have the Hall of Fame game,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: and man, the Cowboys lost was sixteen to three. They
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: didn't have wellhead, is that the same team every year
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the same time? Be different teams. Ye, but but man,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: you know, man, this year, man was it was crazy man,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: because it was this was this really touched my heart. Man.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Drew Pierson finally made it into the Hall of Fame.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Jule Pierson not keep the Hall of Fame. Man, go
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: ahead and you go with that. Man, he's been trying
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to get enough. Man. Yeah, he's back back in the seventies. Man,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: he's been trying to get in all the time since
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: he's been since he's been retired. True, pizons should have
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: been in that long time ago now. But you know
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: what the headline of it was, man, You know we
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: had we did have Calvin Johnson, he and Charles Woodson
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: is in the Hall of Fame. Payton Manning man is
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: in the Hall of Fame. But you know what, man,
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: I had, I had the sign by for it time.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I got to play this for you, man, did this
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Payton manned he'd be doing some great speeches. Man, take
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: a list that share acceptance speeches will probably shrink to
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: four minutes. And speaking of rivals, my good friend Tom
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Brady is here tonight. By the time Tom Brady is
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: inducted in his first year of eligibility in the year
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: two thousand and thirty five. He'll always have time to
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: post his acceptance speech on his Instagram account. Oh man,
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: he just said Tom Brady will be into the Hall
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: of Fame because he won't retire. He keeps playing thirty five,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: that's all. I'm like, wait a minute, that's a long time.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I like Panny. I like his nationwide commercials. Oh man, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: they're funny. His father enshrined the Marchie Man and then
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: shrined him into the Hall of Fame. Man, And I'll
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: tell you, man, it couldn't have it for a better guy.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You just get happy when you hear Payton Manny talk
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: man felt good man. So I'm excited man that that
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I mean, Calvin Johnson, Charles Woodson and these guys I've
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: been watching grow up when we was going Man, yeah, label,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: I watched him play Man. Then that's the first group
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: of era people that I saw play. You know, like,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: I'm Steve has seen everybody, you know, I just saw him.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: These the people I don't know them. Yeah, he's my people. Now,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: He's the one I know. Was you around with Billy White? Johnson?
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: You around now? I was in diapers? Okay, okay, yeah,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I was out, I was in diapers. A right, what
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: about that? YEA from coming up at the top of
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk about Nick Cannon still trending right
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, So Nick
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Cannon has some thoughts for people who have criticized his
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: approach to fatherhood. Uh. Well, I mean we all know.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Now you know he's had seven children by four different women. Uh.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: And during a recent radio interview on iHeart, Nick Cannon
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: responded to the question of having multiple baby mamas. Take
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: a listen to what he said. Why do people question that?
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: I mean because it's like it's that's a Eurocentric concept
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: when you think about the ideas of like if you're
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: supposed to have this one person for the rest of
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: your life, and then really that's just to classify property
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: when you think about it, I mean, like when you
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: go into that mindset, if we're really talking that talk
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: like just the idea that a man should have one woman,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: we shouldn't have anything. I have no ownership over this person.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Like if we're really talking about how we coexist and
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: how we populate, it's about what exchange can we create together?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: So I've never really subscribed to that mentality, you know,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I mean, I understand the institution of marriage and stuff.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: But if we go back to what that was about,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: that was the classified property. That was because one or
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: father gave another man his daughter for land. So when
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: you really get to that concept, it's like, we got
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: to change all of this stuff because I don't want
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: ownership over anybody. I don't have ownership of any of
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: the mothers. I didn't. I didn't get no land. I
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: was supposed to get some land. Shut up that. I
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: didn't get no land. So I didn't get that land.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: All that for the acres in the mute this I'm
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: missing a lot of landing. We got that. I got that.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Nick is one of the few people that can afford
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: seven kids. You want to have seven kids him? Yeah, well,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: I mean he had more to say. It's the father
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: of seven children. Like we said, Um, you know, there's
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: also been some criticism as far as having so many
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: kids as selfish. You know, people are saying that selfish
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: and um, you know, so Nick said time as a
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: man made construct. Anyone who knows me, I'm at every
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: basketball game, every martial arts practice, and people don't understand
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: how I do it. But my children are my priority.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: It's all about being present. He confessed that he's always wanted, Oh,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: this is a lot ten to twelve kids or to
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: call so yeah, he's a little more than halfway there,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: about the third of the way there. I like it
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: when you had a many kids, you have somebody to
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: get up and go get you stuff for you. So, hey,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I'm weak. That's what you got out of it. It's
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: only so much. It's only so many glass of water
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you need. But if you think all of them, damn

- 1:16:57Speaker 1: She earned it by getting the nod from the Queen
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: of Soul herself. That's right. The two began conversations years ago,
