- 1:44Speaker 4: mouth mount, turn the the mony up looking me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on, you'll think, huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: But come on, and everybody you're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 6: come on, dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 2: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 6: If I had time enough to tell the whole trip,
- 2:16Speaker 6: the whole journey, and y'all will be sitting upending bad.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Okay, Steve, are we going to play the show this week?
- 2:24Speaker 6: So man, it's been a lot of amazing things has
- 2:28Speaker 6: happened to me over the years, and not all of
- 2:33Speaker 6: them good. It's been some amazingly bad things that have
- 2:37Speaker 6: happened too. But I just come on in the morning
- 2:40Speaker 6: as a reminder to everybody of the actual goodness of God,
- 2:46Speaker 6: that you know, man, that these mistakes that you're making,
- 2:50Speaker 6: that these setbacks that you keep having, that these falls
- 2:54Speaker 6: that keep occurring in your life, that they.
- 2:58Speaker 2: All are leading you somewhere. If you just don't ever
- 3:00Speaker 2: give up. That's the key.
- 3:03Speaker 6: You can never ever give up because you don't know
- 3:08Speaker 6: how the trip has been laid out for you. You know,
- 3:12Speaker 6: if somebody had told me years ago when I had
- 3:16Speaker 6: the dream of being on TV and then I thought
- 3:19Speaker 6: about being a one of one of the best comedians
- 3:22Speaker 6: I could be. You know, when I when I start,
- 3:25Speaker 6: if somebody had told me everything that was gonna have
- 3:29Speaker 6: to happen in order for me to get there, I
- 3:32Speaker 6: would have changed it.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I would have I would have said, Okay, well I
- 3:37Speaker 2: ain't gonna be that. How about this?
- 3:40Speaker 6: See and no one can know all of the events
- 3:44Speaker 6: of their life ahead of time. You know, it'd be
- 3:46Speaker 6: so nice, wouldn't it. You know, to prepare for it,
- 3:49Speaker 6: see it come, and be aware of the haters, always
- 3:55Speaker 6: knowing when the backstabbing moment is coming in your life,
- 3:58Speaker 6: always knowing when you go get blindsided by the enemy.
- 4:01Speaker 6: Were really great to know that, wouldn't it. Well, that's
- 4:04Speaker 6: not how it works. So since no one knows exactly
- 4:11Speaker 6: the challenges and the pitfalls and the detours that's going
- 4:15Speaker 6: to be set them, it's it's it's imperative that you
- 4:19Speaker 6: just don't give up. Because see, knowing these things, we
- 4:26Speaker 6: as human beings by nature, would choose another route. But
- 4:31Speaker 6: it ain't the route God God for you, though. See
- 4:33Speaker 6: the route God God for you. If you if you're
- 4:36Speaker 6: trying to do the right thing, if you're doing the
- 4:39Speaker 6: best you can, if you ain't out here just intentionally
- 4:42Speaker 6: just messing over, folks, If you using faith and that's
- 4:47Speaker 6: the belief in things that you cannot see. If you
- 4:50Speaker 6: have something on the inside of you to keep saying
- 4:52Speaker 6: there's got to be more to life than that.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Then that's that's you. You, my friend, have a great
- 4:59Speaker 2: chance here.
- 5:00Speaker 6: And if you've ever had that feeling then gave up
- 5:03Speaker 6: on it, just get it back, Just ask for it back,
- 5:07Speaker 6: Just say, hey, man, I'm getting back to the way
- 5:09Speaker 6: I used to be because there's a change that's available
- 5:13Speaker 6: in your life.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But you got to take it. You got to take
- 5:16Speaker 2: a shot at it. Folks.
- 5:17Speaker 6: There's a chance for you to get it right, but
- 5:20Speaker 6: you gotta take a shot at it. Folks, there's a
- 5:23Speaker 6: chance for you to turn this whole thing around with
- 5:25Speaker 6: God's help, but you gotta take a shot at it.
- 5:29Speaker 2: You See, this.
- 5:30Speaker 6: Decision is yours, the decision to lay down to give up,
- 5:34Speaker 6: that's yours. It ain't even just got too hard for me?
- 5:37Speaker 6: Life too much, man, life hard and too much for everybody.
- 5:41Speaker 6: What I got to get you to See? My father
- 5:44Speaker 6: used to always tell me, it says, some best lessons
- 5:46Speaker 6: in life, the one your value and learn the most
- 5:49Speaker 6: is a bout lesson. I didn't quite understand that being young,
- 5:54Speaker 6: but I show got it now. Ain't no lesson like
- 5:57Speaker 6: a bout lesson, the one you pay for. Those are
- 6:00Speaker 6: the ones that hold to you, that stick to you,
- 6:03Speaker 6: that that start turning you into who you're going to be.
- 6:06Speaker 6: Those are the character builders. See, you got to be
- 6:10Speaker 6: forged to get to where you want to go in life. See,
- 6:13Speaker 6: that's what the challenges and missteps is for. That's what
- 6:16Speaker 6: the failing is about.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Now. I know you don't like it. I didn't. I
- 6:20Speaker 2: know you not comfortable with I wouldn't I know you
- 6:23Speaker 2: wish it was over sooner than later. I always do.
- 6:27Speaker 6: I always wanted to be over sooner than later because
- 6:31Speaker 6: the later, Man, it just seems like it's so much
- 6:33Speaker 6: I got to go through.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But let me tell you something, Man.
- 6:37Speaker 6: If you can, if you can forge your way through
- 6:40Speaker 6: it and understand that you are forged in life.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 6:45Speaker 6: I was on TV in one time when I was
- 6:47Speaker 6: doing one of my motivational speeches, and I began to
- 6:52Speaker 6: wonder about this experience I had at Ford Motor Company
- 6:56Speaker 6: and my last job after the auto industry started going
- 7:00Speaker 6: and down, my last job was in the foundry and
- 7:03Speaker 6: my job was to stand at the end almost where
- 7:08Speaker 6: the engines first come out of the furnace. See, the
- 7:12Speaker 6: engines are poured into a mold. It's hot, melted down
- 7:16Speaker 6: metal or whatever they call it, lava or whatever. They
- 7:19Speaker 6: pour it into a mole and it goes into this
- 7:22Speaker 6: furnace that's extremely hot.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And my job was.
- 7:26Speaker 6: After the heat was applied to the engine block, it
- 7:31Speaker 6: would come through and it would go through a hardening stage.
- 7:34Speaker 6: With the way it was hardening, they would cool it. Suddenly,
- 7:38Speaker 6: they would flush.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It with water.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It would just blast water on it.
- 7:41Speaker 6: But the fire and the high temperature is what made
- 7:46Speaker 6: the engine block solidify it because it's got to get
- 7:50Speaker 6: real hot, get melted down first, then it's got to
- 7:53Speaker 6: get poured into a mole. Then it's got to be
- 7:56Speaker 6: pressure hit with water and all of this and it's
- 8:00Speaker 6: real hot. Now it's still hot even though there's water
- 8:03Speaker 6: been shatter, But when it comes out the end of
- 8:05Speaker 6: the side, there's a lot of flashing in it. It
- 8:08Speaker 6: flashing is a metal from that to drip through the
- 8:11Speaker 6: cast molding on it, just like flex of extra pieces
- 8:15Speaker 6: of metal. My job was to hit this engine block
- 8:20Speaker 6: in the front, which is huge, heavy rubber mallet, knock
- 8:25Speaker 6: all the flashing off the front, and when it came
- 8:28Speaker 6: around back to bam, hit it real hard again on
- 8:32Speaker 6: the backside. And that became the core of what the
- 8:37Speaker 6: car is. A car without a great engine is nothing.
- 8:40Speaker 6: It's just a pretty looking vehicle over there. But if
- 8:43Speaker 6: it can't do what it was made to do because
- 8:45Speaker 6: the engine blocked then cracked. So you can have a
- 8:48Speaker 6: car look real good, but if it freezes, an engine
- 8:50Speaker 6: block cracked your car, you could it's over man. You
- 8:53Speaker 6: got to get a new block. The block is the core.
- 8:56Speaker 6: But in order for you for the car to do
- 8:59Speaker 6: what it's got to do, it's got to have a
- 9:00Speaker 6: strong engine.
- 9:01Speaker 3: It.
- 9:01Speaker 6: In order for the engine to be strong, it's got
- 9:04Speaker 6: to be forged and steel come through fire, get poured
- 9:07Speaker 6: in a mole, cooled off, heated, knocked around, beat on
- 9:11Speaker 6: the front end, beat on the back end and order
- 9:14Speaker 6: for it to be what it's gonna be. The mall
- 9:16Speaker 6: of the story, folks, is you got to get forged
- 9:19Speaker 6: in fire to be what you're gonna be. You got
- 9:23Speaker 6: to get beat up, you got to get pressure washed,
- 9:26Speaker 6: you got to have heat on you, you got to
- 9:28Speaker 6: get melted down, you got to get pulled into a mole.
- 9:31Speaker 2: That's how you become who you are.
- 9:34Speaker 6: So the tough things that you're going through, the difficult
- 9:36Speaker 6: challenges and the setbacks.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I know a brother who went to prison, ma'am.
- 9:40Speaker 6: And the whole reason he ended up going to prison
- 9:43Speaker 6: because he was looking out the little window, looking out
- 9:45Speaker 6: in the yard at him working out. And then the
- 9:48Speaker 6: next thing, you know, man, this brother decided that he
- 9:50Speaker 6: was gonna go out there and work out.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Well, guess what. He's one of the top trainers in
- 9:55Speaker 2: country today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He's a the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. Again, it's just again, I mean, you
- 10:09Speaker 6: know who keeps creating these new days?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Who does that? I mean, man, it's him, man, I
- 10:17Speaker 2: mean he everything.
- 10:18Speaker 6: If you think about it, if you just give any
- 10:21Speaker 6: measure of reasonable thought to this, there has to be
- 10:25Speaker 6: a god. There is no other explanation. Look, I respect science.
- 10:30Speaker 6: Science is good for learning certain things. But if you're
- 10:34Speaker 6: talking to a scientist to rule out and a scientist
- 10:39Speaker 6: has attempted this with me before, to tell me there's
- 10:42Speaker 6: no scientific proof that there is a god, well, I
- 10:44Speaker 6: don't know if there's no scientific proof.
- 10:47Speaker 2: But I got a whole lot of other proof. I
- 10:49Speaker 2: got a whole lot of other proof. And I don't
- 10:51Speaker 2: know what science got to.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Do with I'm not a scientist, but every time I
- 10:55Speaker 6: have fallen, I know exactly who picked me up. Every
- 10:59Speaker 6: time I got it wrong, I know exactly who forgave
- 11:02Speaker 6: me every time I asked for grace and mercy.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I know who gave it to me.
- 11:07Speaker 6: Every time I accomplished something. I ain't know how it happened,
- 11:09Speaker 6: I knew exactly who it was. I'm gonna go with
- 11:12Speaker 6: that proof right there, he said. But suppose at the
- 11:15Speaker 6: end of your life you discover you was wrong and
- 11:18Speaker 6: it ain't no heaven. That's where I live the best
- 11:20Speaker 6: life I could. I said, here's your problems, sir. Suppose
- 11:24Speaker 6: you live your life and you find out it is
- 11:27Speaker 6: you got a bigger problem than I got.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Don't you all right? Enjoy your life man, Hey.
- 11:32Speaker 6: Steve Harvey, Marni Shaw, Shelly Strawberry College for Real, Mississippi, Monica,
- 11:36Speaker 6: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Good morning all and everyone.
- 11:47Speaker 6: This trombone player from an HBCU I think it's Benedict College.
- 11:54Speaker 6: What's his name again? William Belong, William William Belah. Yes,
- 12:01Speaker 6: I don't care how many times I see that. I
- 12:03Speaker 6: watch it four five times. I don't care how many
- 12:05Speaker 6: times I see it. It's it's cold as trombone. So
- 12:08Speaker 6: and then I've watched him because he's gone on to
- 12:11Speaker 6: play with some of the Philharmonic orchestras. Behind that, he's
- 12:15Speaker 6: gotten a lot of this dude blows of trombone like
- 12:18Speaker 6: nothing I've ever seen. If you've seen it, you know
- 12:20Speaker 6: what I'm talking about. If you don't, then you don't
- 12:22Speaker 6: know what I'm talking about. Anybody got any questions this morning?
- 12:24Speaker 2: I just want to say.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Just random random.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I have several.
- 12:31Speaker 6: Random thoughts that I could start. Bought a new cold
- 12:36Speaker 6: plunge pool this. Yeah, we're doing random.
- 12:45Speaker 1: So you're right in the cold plunge now.
- 12:48Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm about to because I got my blood work
- 12:50Speaker 6: came back, so I got to get on a new protocol.
- 12:53Speaker 6: I meet with my doctors today or tomorrow to find
- 12:55Speaker 6: out what my new regiment is gonna be. I caught
- 12:59Speaker 6: it a nice size fish yesterday, a three pounder. But
- 13:07Speaker 6: I caught him in the deep water. I was dragging
- 13:09Speaker 6: a big ten and a half inch worm across the bass,
- 13:12Speaker 6: and by the time I realized I had a fish
- 13:14Speaker 6: on it, because it was swimming towards me and I
- 13:17Speaker 6: was out on the boat, I snatched and he had
- 13:20Speaker 6: swallowed the whole worm. So I tried to save him,
- 13:23Speaker 6: but I couldn't save him. We gotta go coming thirty,
- 13:26Speaker 6: so so he was lunch yesterday.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He was goodbye.
- 13:30Speaker 2: He didn't die vain.
- 13:35Speaker 1: This is Random Friday, apparently coming up at thirty two
- 13:39Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. We'll talk to the nephew as

- 14:28Speaker 2: It's next?
- 14:28Speaker 6: He Thomas, Hey, Thomas, hold on sex before you do that,
- 14:34Speaker 6: I have another random thought.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Come on, give it to me. Let's go.
- 14:39Speaker 6: I'm gonna be speaking at invest Fest on Saturday, so
- 14:42Speaker 6: I'm already planning what I'm gonna be saying. I speak

- 14:49Speaker 6: I'll be on stage with Charlemagne and Eastern Ray, so
- 14:52Speaker 6: I'll be conducting the interview. And it's all about branding, branding.
- 14:58Speaker 6: It's the subject I'll be covering.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Okay, okay, random, thank you.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Randomly back over here, I'm gonna be speaking to somebody's
- 15:09Speaker 7: wife here in.
- 15:10Speaker 1: A second, Frank, what we're supposed to be talking about?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna be talking to a man about his wife.
- 15:16Speaker 7: That's what I'm doing because this is like I would
- 15:18Speaker 7: I want your wife to help me with my thesis.
- 15:22Speaker 7: I want your wife to help me. So do you
- 15:25Speaker 7: mind if your wife helped me with my thesis? This
- 15:28Speaker 7: is not a random prank. This is a scheduled prank.
- 15:31Speaker 7: All right, this is running that prank back hat dog
- 15:34Speaker 7: me if you would.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Hello, Hello, I'm trying to read.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, well is it?
- 15:42Speaker 8: Hey? Money't ellis man? Is this down? It's awesome? Yeah?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, this me.
- 15:47Speaker 8: Hey, listen, my mother's mister, man. She goes to church
- 15:52Speaker 8: with with with your wife's mom, with his mother. And uh,
- 15:57Speaker 8: I'm actually in mid school, man, and they told me
- 16:00Speaker 8: your wife she's a she's a nurse. Is that right? Yeah?
- 16:04Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, she a nurse. But you say, you
- 16:07Speaker 9: say your mama go to church.
- 16:09Speaker 8: With my wife's mama, right right, my mother she goes
- 16:13Speaker 8: to church with with with mother.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Okay, then all right?
- 16:17Speaker 8: Uh what I was calling you off for? Damn man,
- 16:19Speaker 8: If you didn't mind, I wanted to, I'm going I'm
- 16:22Speaker 8: getting ready to do my thesis. Man, I'm doing my
- 16:24Speaker 8: thesis for the end of the year. Uh end of
- 16:26Speaker 8: the semester man for Mad's school, and they told me
- 16:30Speaker 8: your wife, you know that might be able to help
- 16:32Speaker 8: me out. So I was hoping I could talk to
- 16:34Speaker 8: her for a second to be on mind.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah, hold on real quick, all right, hold.
- 16:38Speaker 8: On, okay, I want to talk to you about mama,
- 16:41Speaker 8: so you wanna talk to you? Hello?

- 16:52Speaker 8: church with your with your mother, and they gave me
- 16:55Speaker 8: your number that you might be able to help me

- 17:00Speaker 8: I'm studying to be a gynecologist, and uh, you might
- 17:02Speaker 8: be able to help me out with some things. I
- 17:04Speaker 8: wanted to reach out to you if it was cool.
- 17:05Speaker 9: Okay, what's your name again?
- 17:07Speaker 8: Ellis?
- 17:08Speaker 9: And your mom goes to church with my mom's.
- 17:11Speaker 8: Right, okay, right, okay? What what? What what I'm doing is,
- 17:14Speaker 8: I'm doing my thesis and you know, this is the
- 17:18Speaker 8: this is my big end of the year exam. And
- 17:20Speaker 8: what I'm doing is I'm making my thesis a video
- 17:23Speaker 8: and opposed to a report, so everything is gonna be
- 17:27Speaker 8: on video. So what I'm trying to do is actually
- 17:29Speaker 8: get a time where I can hook up with you
- 17:30Speaker 8: and maybe examine you and get all that on video.
- 17:34Speaker 3: So you say you want to video tape, I would be.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Giving you you know, and I put you, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 8: your legs and the stirrups and all that, and just
- 17:42Speaker 8: video me doing the actual examination on you.
- 17:45Speaker 9: Do you want a video video him giving me all
- 17:53Speaker 9: what you're talking about?
- 17:54Speaker 8: You want to do? What again?
- 17:55Speaker 9: Do we see?
- 17:56Speaker 8: I'm working on my thesis, man, and what I'm doing
- 17:58Speaker 8: my thesis is gonna be a video. So I'm actually
- 18:00Speaker 8: video myself giving your wife what you kind? What you
- 18:04Speaker 8: want to do?
- 18:05Speaker 9: My wife in it's wrong with you?
- 18:07Speaker 8: Hey, hey, hey brother, this right here from my grave. Man.
- 18:10Speaker 8: You know this ain't nothing on a personal tip. Man,

- 18:18Speaker 9: You can't you get good money? Okay? You want to
- 18:20Speaker 9: get your care of my wife? That we got to

- 18:26Speaker 8: Man, listen this for my glade. Man, this ain't but
- 18:28Speaker 8: I mean only the profession is going.
- 18:30Speaker 9: To get the market phone. I'm concerned. You better gonna
- 18:32Speaker 9: find somebody else. You ain't do my wife this again.
- 18:35Speaker 8: Man, My name is Ellis Man. I told you know
- 18:38Speaker 8: my mama missed she go to church.
- 18:40Speaker 9: With Come on, and I'm no, we don't know who

- 21:07Speaker 2: You can't take them out with me. Ever, at no
- 21:10Speaker 2: point is our ass.
- 21:11Speaker 6: At dinner, can you reach up in your head, pull
- 21:14Speaker 6: a whole row damn teeth out, set him down on
- 21:16Speaker 6: the table.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I don't give it, damn.
- 21:18Speaker 6: If you don't put him in glands, you can wrap
- 21:19Speaker 6: them up in your handkerchief, put them in your top pocket.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I don't give it. Damn.
- 21:23Speaker 6: If you know how to spin them teeth on your
- 21:25Speaker 6: fringer like a basketball, and you want to be sitting
- 21:28Speaker 6: up in here and launching your teeth, go around, coming
- 21:32Speaker 6: up right, Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and

- 22:10Speaker 1: friend of ours is our special guest this morning. It's
- 22:14Speaker 1: the very soulful the very soulful Kim. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Kim will be our special guest. He has a new
- 22:20Speaker 1: single out today and we'll hear about the new music
- 22:24Speaker 1: and what else Kim has been up to. We haven't
- 22:26Speaker 1: talked to him for a while. That's all coming up
- 22:28Speaker 1: at the time.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's coming up at top of
- 22:31Speaker 2: our shirt. Here's time for another random thought.
- 22:34Speaker 6: I just wanted to address the person who looked at
- 22:38Speaker 6: my fishing video that I released recently and made the
- 22:41Speaker 6: comment and asked, why does he have on a long
- 22:45Speaker 6: sleeve shirt if he fishing?
- 22:48Speaker 2: It ain't it?
- 22:48Speaker 6: You know, the ignorance of people sometimes befuddle me. If
- 22:52Speaker 6: you don't know what you're talking about, wy, don't you
- 22:54Speaker 6: just be quiet. It's one thing to have people think
- 22:58Speaker 6: you a food that to open your mouth and remove
- 23:01Speaker 6: all doubt. I don't know if you noticed it, but
- 23:04Speaker 6: people who live in very hot climates, they don't.
- 23:07Speaker 2: You don't see them in shorts and short sleeve shirts because.
- 23:11Speaker 6: You protect your skin from direct sunlight a cooler and
- 23:14Speaker 6: it's called a dry drive fit fishing jersey and that's
- 23:18Speaker 6: what people wear when you fish, so you don't have
- 23:20Speaker 6: to direct heat on your arms, the sun on your arms.
- 23:23Speaker 6: I just wanted to say that to the ignorant person.
- 23:26Speaker 6: Okay it, why is he swishing shirt?
- 23:32Speaker 1: Go ahead, it's time to ask this.
- 23:33Speaker 2: It's time for clo. So now go ahead.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Victor and aChn says, I went out with my buddies
- 23:42Speaker 1: and we got wasted. I fell asleep in the club.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So my buddy decided to text my wife to tell
- 23:47Speaker 1: her that he was dropping me off. I'm furious because
- 23:50Speaker 1: he knew that was foul. He said, he did what's
- 23:53Speaker 1: what was right? Was all that necessary?
- 23:58Speaker 6: Well, I don't understanding why you got to call his
- 24:01Speaker 6: wife and tell him that you're dropping him off drunk?
- 24:04Speaker 1: Just drop him off, he texted her. Yeah, Well what you're.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Touting the wife for? Just just get your buddy in
- 24:13Speaker 6: the car. He did the right thing. You don't let
- 24:15Speaker 6: freeans drive drunk. That's number one. Now drive your boy
- 24:19Speaker 6: home and let him say whatever he wants to say
- 24:22Speaker 6: when he gets home.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Mh, what what you text his wife for?
- 24:28Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 24:28Speaker 3: For what?
- 24:29Speaker 8: For what?
- 24:31Speaker 2: Now he comes? Oh no, he had drunk.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Now he comes all this here. He got deal with
- 24:35Speaker 6: some extra store he was, he was that drunk. But
- 24:39Speaker 6: we deal with that when I get home. Hey, Shirley, this.
- 24:42Speaker 10: Is see a little back. Stop acting like a wife
- 24:47Speaker 10: sometime random. Okay, you're trying to figure out.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Home.
- 24:57Speaker 6: Yeah, but see, just let him deal with he was wasted.
- 25:01Speaker 6: But the man drove his friends home. Friends don't let
- 25:04Speaker 6: friends drived what friends? Friends don't text wives to tell
- 25:09Speaker 6: them their drunk that they what to say it is.
- 25:14Speaker 1: He texted the wife to tell her he was dropping
- 25:17Speaker 1: her husband.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Off because he was drunk. No, he told her he
- 25:24Speaker 2: was drunk, shure.
- 25:27Speaker 1: So when he comes to the house and he don't
- 25:29Speaker 1: have his car and all.
- 25:30Speaker 6: That, it's all coming out. It's all it all come
- 25:34Speaker 6: out then. But now she got ammo loaded when he
- 25:37Speaker 6: come through the door. So now you done got so drunk.
- 25:40Speaker 6: Now your friends got a drive.
- 25:42Speaker 8: You know.
- 25:42Speaker 2: He didn't even get a chance to tell his story.
- 25:45Speaker 1: No, together, get a lie together.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Hey, let's move on to the next one, because.
- 25:55Speaker 1: We're gonna move on to Kiara and Hoover. Kara writes,
- 25:59Speaker 1: I was sitting my car after work and a lady
- 26:01Speaker 1: started beating on my window, yelling that I had sex
- 26:05Speaker 1: with her man. I haven't slept with her man in
- 26:08Speaker 1: over a year. I can't get in touch with him,
- 26:10Speaker 1: and I'm scared of her. Do I tell the truth
- 26:13Speaker 1: if she comes back and she will know that?
- 26:17Speaker 2: What you think? Still?
- 26:20Speaker 6: Where are you sitting with your window roll up? And
- 26:23Speaker 6: she keeps finding you?
- 26:24Speaker 1: That's question.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Number one.
- 26:29Speaker 6: You have got to change your parking spot. That's if
- 26:34Speaker 6: you parked and in your designating spot.
- 26:37Speaker 2: They know what.
- 26:37Speaker 6: I ain't slept with her man in over a year.
- 26:40Speaker 6: I can't even get in contact her.
- 26:43Speaker 2: You should be, and you should. She's still on the
- 26:48Speaker 2: wall path, still talking about that. That was a long time.
- 26:53Speaker 1: That was a year ago.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Goodbye, that was a year ago. And I can't even
- 26:58Speaker 2: contact you.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Hear to you?
- 27:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:02Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to Walt in San Jose, Walt writes,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I'm an online listener and I love this show. I've
- 27:11Speaker 1: been married four times and I'm in a polyamorous relationship.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Now marriage isn't for everyone, and I can tell your

- 27:23Speaker 1: a way to go. Can I come on your show

- 43:51Speaker 7: have an open spirit. That's what I'm That's what I
- 43:53Speaker 7: want from this person that I'm about to call. The
- 43:56Speaker 7: title is, uh, can we borrow your casket? Can we
- 44:02Speaker 7: borrow your casket? You know sometimes you got to help?
- 44:06Speaker 7: You know you never help?

- 44:31Speaker 8: Uh?
- 44:32Speaker 3: I think it's your aunt? Yes, okay, and your your
- 44:38Speaker 3: now your aunt passed away?
- 44:40Speaker 8: How many?
- 44:40Speaker 3: How many years ago you are passed?
- 44:42Speaker 15: It was about five years ago?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Okay, listen, I'm over here at the funeral home. Uh my,
- 44:48Speaker 3: my my sister just passed away. And uh, they gave
- 44:53Speaker 3: me your phone number, did you guys? We're going through
- 44:57Speaker 3: a little bit of a situation here, did you guys?
- 44:59Speaker 3: Aren't you know your aunt was a heavyset woman? Is
- 45:02Speaker 3: that right, yes, she was Okay, now they had to
- 45:06Speaker 3: did they have to put her in a in a
- 45:09Speaker 3: did they have a build a special casket for her?
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 45:13Speaker 3: Okay, that's what we're kind of going through with my sister.
- 45:15Speaker 3: We ordered a special casket for for for my sister,
- 45:21Speaker 3: and uh, I'm assuming this is the same thing that
- 45:23Speaker 3: you guys went through. I've called several of her children,
- 45:27Speaker 3: but I wasn't able to get in touch with anybody.
- 45:29Speaker 3: But the funeral home actually had your name on file
- 45:31Speaker 3: as well, so they gave me your number where I
- 45:34Speaker 3: will be able to talk to you.
- 45:35Speaker 8: Is that is that? Okay?
- 45:37Speaker 15: Yeah, that's okay, you can speak to me. But you
- 45:40Speaker 15: know what seems to be a problem.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Well, listen, we the funeral is actually in two days, okay,
- 45:47Speaker 3: and we ordered one of those special caskets, but it
- 45:51Speaker 3: doesn't look like it's going to be in for another week.
- 45:54Speaker 3: So you know, it's almost like we're gonna, we're gonna
- 45:56Speaker 3: we're not gonna have a casket for her, you know,
- 46:00Speaker 3: for the funeral. And you know, like I said, the
- 46:03Speaker 3: funeral home told us about you know that you guys
- 46:05Speaker 3: were the last ones that ordered a casket of that
- 46:08Speaker 3: size and you know, me and the rest of the
- 46:11Speaker 3: family has been you know, we've been trying to figure out.
- 46:13Speaker 8: What to do and what to do.
- 46:15Speaker 3: Do you think it's any way possible we can borrow
- 46:19Speaker 3: the casket that your aim is in, and then when
- 46:24Speaker 3: the casket comes in that we ordered, we can put
- 46:26Speaker 3: her in that casket and put up back down to
- 46:30Speaker 3: rest like she's always been.
- 46:32Speaker 8: Do you think that's.
- 46:35Speaker 3: Hello?
- 46:36Speaker 15: Hello, if you beat yourself, what exactly are you asking me?
- 46:41Speaker 3: Well, what I'm saying is, do you think we can
- 46:43Speaker 3: borrow your ain't casket? Because you know, the funeral is
- 46:48Speaker 3: in two days and the casket is not going to
- 46:50Speaker 3: be in in order for us to be able to
- 46:52Speaker 3: bury her in a in a casket for you know,
- 46:55Speaker 3: to accommodate her size. That's what I'm asking.
- 46:58Speaker 15: What kind of your talking about?
- 47:01Speaker 3: First of all, who is this?
- 47:02Speaker 8: Okay?
- 47:03Speaker 3: No, my name is Larry, Like I said, My name
- 47:05Speaker 3: is Larry. I got you, I got you guys.
- 47:07Speaker 15: Like I said.
- 47:07Speaker 3: I tried to call some of her kids, but nobody
- 47:10Speaker 3: ever picked up when I called. Had her niece's number
- 47:15Speaker 3: on file too. You you are her niece, Vicky, right, Yes?
- 47:18Speaker 15: I am?
- 47:19Speaker 3: Okay, Well, that's what I'm saying, do you think that
- 47:22Speaker 3: maybe you can talk to the children and see if
- 47:25Speaker 3: we can maybe used that particular casket.
- 47:28Speaker 15: Oh okay, wait a minute, what the talking about this?
- 47:32Speaker 15: First of all, who is this you? You gotta be
- 47:34Speaker 15: losing your mind if you think I'm gonna let you
- 47:37Speaker 15: dig up my ami for just to bury your notes.
- 47:40Speaker 3: But I understand where you're coming from. But what I'm
- 47:42Speaker 3: trying to say is that we don't have a casket
- 47:45Speaker 3: big enough and they wore They let us know that
- 47:47Speaker 3: you guys were the last ones that had a casket
- 47:50Speaker 3: that you know.
- 47:51Speaker 8: You gotta do with us.
- 47:53Speaker 15: That's your stuff out?
- 47:57Speaker 3: No, no, well, okay, First of all, what I'm trying
- 47:59Speaker 3: to it was this the family been grieving pretty hard
- 48:02Speaker 3: and I just wanted to make sure that the funeral
- 48:04Speaker 3: will be right. And it ain't gonna be right, and
- 48:06Speaker 3: we don't have that.
- 48:07Speaker 15: We don't bring my family gonna feel digging my amy,
- 48:10Speaker 15: You lost your They don't call me with this. Who
- 48:14Speaker 15: is the funeral home that gave you my number to
- 48:18Speaker 15: ask me to use the casket so you can bury
- 48:21Speaker 15: your sister? Who is the name of that person?
- 48:23Speaker 3: I can't remember, but it was it was the guy,
- 48:26Speaker 3: the funeral director let me know that you guys had
- 48:28Speaker 3: went through a situation where you had to bury your
- 48:31Speaker 3: your your your.
- 48:32Speaker 11: Aunt Like I said, I what's your name again?
- 48:36Speaker 3: My name is Larry, said Larry.
- 48:38Speaker 13: This is this is because I.
- 48:39Speaker 15: Don't know what you my phone number to call me
- 48:42Speaker 15: ask you just don't. Can you believe they call here
- 48:46Speaker 15: asking me so can they dig up and so they
- 48:49Speaker 15: can bury? Thats f don't have a cast.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Your fault. No, I understand it's not your fault. What
- 48:59Speaker 3: I'm trying to say is what y'all show some sympathy
- 49:01Speaker 3: and some love for what you are family going through
- 49:05Speaker 3: because we don't have a cask like I say, my sister,
- 49:07Speaker 3: my sister was was You know that if the heavens

- 49:15Speaker 15: be as reserved as I can with this whole situation.

- 49:22Speaker 15: me right now to actually dig up my aunt?
- 49:25Speaker 8: Who was on?
- 49:26Speaker 15: Who's been and what off?
- 49:26Speaker 8: For five years?

- 53:49Speaker 1: and my husband said he has had it with me.
- 53:52Speaker 1: He says that he does not believe in divorce, but
- 53:54Speaker 1: he does not want to be my husband. He wants
- 53:57Speaker 1: to limit the time that we spend together. Going four forward,
- 54:00Speaker 1: I'm sixty one and he's sixty three years old. We
- 54:04Speaker 1: got married in nineteen ninety eight, and we have a daughter.
- 54:07Speaker 1: He had already called our daughters, so she was on
- 54:09Speaker 1: the phone when he said all of that to me.
- 54:12Speaker 1: He said that I twist things that he tells me,
- 54:15Speaker 1: and I always stir up unnecessary conflicts. He says that
- 54:19Speaker 1: I am always faking an illness for attention, and I've
- 54:22Speaker 1: gotten lazy over the years, he said, I have let
- 54:25Speaker 1: myself go, and he's not proud to be seen in
- 54:28Speaker 1: public with me anymore. He said that my bad sleeping
- 54:31Speaker 1: habits keep him awake all night and that the TV
- 54:34Speaker 1: is always loud, so he is moving to the bedroom
- 54:38Speaker 1: downstairs permanently. When I tried to talk, my daughter spoke
- 54:42Speaker 1: up and asked me to wait until her dad finished talking.
- 54:46Speaker 1: He told me that he's not seeing another woman. Even
- 54:49Speaker 1: before I could ask him, he said, I brought this
- 54:52Speaker 1: on myself. I just sat there and said nothing. I
- 54:56Speaker 1: can admit that I've had a few minor medical issues recently,
- 55:00Speaker 1: and they were important to me, so I don't care
- 55:03Speaker 1: what he thinks. I'm the one that was in pain.
- 55:06Speaker 1: After taking what he said into consideration, I asked if
- 55:10Speaker 1: we could go talk to somebody, and he said it
- 55:12Speaker 1: is too late for that. But I have always slept
- 55:15Speaker 1: with the TV on, and I don't clean the house
- 55:17Speaker 1: anymore because I hired a housekeeper once a week. I
- 55:20Speaker 1: think as we age, some things will change. And he's
- 55:24Speaker 1: no angel, but I tolerate his quirks. I feel like
- 55:27Speaker 1: my daughter is siding with him and it's wearing on
- 55:30Speaker 1: my nerves. What could I have possibly done to him
- 55:33Speaker 1: to cause this? Is it an excuse for him to
- 55:36Speaker 1: live like he's single again, Well he's clearly not single again. Yeah,
- 55:41Speaker 1: he's tired, he's fed up. Well he's clearly not single again.
- 55:45Speaker 1: If he's still married to you and not filing and
- 55:48Speaker 1: still living in the house with you, And just who
- 55:50Speaker 1: told him that he gets to call the shops for
- 55:53Speaker 1: the both of you. He can call him for himself,
- 55:55Speaker 1: but not for you. He doesn't get to decide what
- 55:58Speaker 1: you want for your life. I think the proper thing
- 56:01Speaker 1: to do here if he no longer wants to be married,
- 56:03Speaker 1: is to ask you for a divorce. It doesn't matter
- 56:07Speaker 1: if he doesn't believe in divorce, he may as well
- 56:09Speaker 1: believe in it, because he's actually leaving you by moving
- 56:13Speaker 1: out of the marriage bed and going downstairs permanently. What
- 56:18Speaker 1: but if he wants out and doesn't want to be
- 56:20Speaker 1: your husband anymore, he should get all the way out.
- 56:24Speaker 1: He's trying to make it convenient for himself. He doesn't
- 56:27Speaker 1: like you, or he doesn't like your habits anymore, he says, So,
- 56:30Speaker 1: why couldn't he just be man enough to tell you,
- 56:33Speaker 1: I mean, long before it came to this point instead
- 56:36Speaker 1: of just you know, blindsiding you with your daughter on
- 56:39Speaker 1: the phone, and this should have just been between the
- 56:41Speaker 1: two of you anyway, no one else. It sounds like
- 56:44Speaker 1: you're not quite ready to end the marriage. You don't
- 56:47Speaker 1: quite know what's going on here because he hasn't talked
- 56:50Speaker 1: to you. But you just can't let him do whatever
- 56:52Speaker 1: he wants to do to you. I say you go
- 56:55Speaker 1: ahead and file and tell him to get his own
- 56:59Speaker 1: place because you don't want him there under these circumstances.
- 57:03Speaker 1: He needs to see that you have a voice, you
- 57:05Speaker 1: have a say about how this is gonna go for you,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and he doesn't get to make all the decisions period.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Steve, Well, Shirley, you and not have a disagreement in
- 57:16Speaker 6: this letter, because first of all, he has made decisions
- 57:21Speaker 6: for himself. She's fighting and trying to counter it with
- 57:26Speaker 6: her stuff, and that's where we have a problem. Homeboy
- 57:32Speaker 6: is clear he didne thought this out. Here's the only problem.
- 57:38Speaker 6: My husband left me, but he didn't move out. What
- 57:43Speaker 6: happened was if you say I'm leaving and you go
- 57:46Speaker 6: get in the car and start your car and then
- 57:48Speaker 6: realize I ain't got nowhere to go. You gotta get
- 57:51Speaker 6: back in that house. You gotta get back up in now,
- 57:53Speaker 6: and you gotta start saying something else. What he did
- 57:59Speaker 6: was he's said I'm leaving her, got in the car,
- 58:04Speaker 6: realized he had no where to go, thought of it,
- 58:08Speaker 6: called his daughter, and then called you on the phone.
- 58:11Speaker 2: And here's what's happened.
- 58:13Speaker 6: My husband said he's had it with me, said he
- 58:17Speaker 6: does not believe in divorce, but he does not want to.
- 58:19Speaker 2: Be my husband.
- 58:22Speaker 6: Well, look, my man, if you don't believe in divorce,
- 58:25Speaker 6: but you don't want to be this woman's husband, what
- 58:27Speaker 6: what the hell you think that's called? You don't get
- 58:31Speaker 6: to create a new term. He wants to limit the
- 58:36Speaker 6: time we spend together.
- 58:38Speaker 2: He tied of you, He tired of you. Look, I'm
- 58:42Speaker 2: just come in now. I'm gonna talk to you twice
- 58:44Speaker 2: a week. That's it. I'm sixty one, he's sixty three.
- 58:49Speaker 2: We got married in ninety eight. You got a daughter, He.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Told your dot on the phone. He called our daughter,
- 58:55Speaker 6: so she was on the phone when he said all
- 58:57Speaker 6: of that to me. He done make a phone call
- 59:00Speaker 6: to you. This ain't no house, This ain't no meeting.
- 59:04Speaker 2: He said, this is what you do. This is what
- 59:06Speaker 2: you do.
- 59:06Speaker 6: I twist things that he tells me, and I always
- 59:09Speaker 6: stir up unnecessary conflicts.
- 59:12Speaker 2: I believe that. I do believe that.
- 59:16Speaker 6: That sounded like something you would do. Could a man
- 59:21Speaker 6: get to that point? You're always twisting what he's saying.
- 59:24Speaker 6: You stir up on this.
- 59:25Speaker 2: That sound true?
- 59:27Speaker 6: He said, I'm always faking an illness for attention, and
- 59:31Speaker 6: I've gotten lazy over the years. I don't think you
- 59:34Speaker 6: really faked an illness for attention, but you might take
- 59:38Speaker 6: your little illnesses a little bit too far. You're not
- 59:41Speaker 6: gonna tell us in the letter what the illness you had,
- 59:44Speaker 6: so I'm assuming that it wasn't life threatening.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, we'll have we come back.
- 59:50Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you why this is over or just
- 59:53Speaker 2: coming up? Uh huh.
- 59:55Speaker 1: At twenty three minutes after today's Strawberry Letter subject my
- 59:58Speaker 1: husband left me, but he didn't move out. We'll get
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: This Sunday, the remaining fourteen's battle to make the championship
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: in the most physical, fierce, and competitive basketball league in
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: the world. The action starts with the Big Three Monster
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Energy Celebrity Game. Then Dwight Howard and his La Riot
- 1:00:22Speaker 7: take on Montes Harrold and Doctor Ja's Chicago Triplets. The finale,
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: we'll see Popular Miami three h five would start MVP
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: Michael Beasley and Land Stephenson take on Nancy Lieberman's Dallas
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: Power who will make it to the Big Three Championship.
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: The action starts Sunday at three pm Eastern twelfth Pacific
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: only on CBS.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: The subject is my husband left me, but he didn't
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: move out.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: Well, he gone though, he gone.
- 1:00:53Speaker 5: Now.
- 1:00:53Speaker 6: He said, I'm leaving you. But he went out and
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: got in the cart. He started realized he ain't had
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: no where to go, so he devised a plane. I'm
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: still leaving, he said.
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: He's lead.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: He's had it with me, and he doesn't believe in divorce.
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: But he don't want to be my husband anymore. He
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: wants to limit the time that we spend together. I
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: think that's two days. I'm gonna come up there downstairs'm
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: cause wherever I am and how I'm gonna talk to
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: you twice that's it.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: You need everything you need to say.
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: I'm gonna talk to you two times a week and
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: ten minutes twenty minutes a week. Then I'm getting away
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: from you. He already told his daughter, so she was
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: on the phone when he said all this to me.
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: He made a phone call. This ain't even a visit.
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: He said.
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: I twist things that he tells me and always stir
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: up unnecessary conflicts. Yep, you nag a lot. That's a
- 1:01:43Speaker 6: true statement. Nagging his tone and timing, and you don't pick.
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: Plus you've been sick alive, which matter make you a
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: little bit more irritable. And so we'll get into that
- 1:01:53Speaker 6: in a minute. He said, I'm always faking an illness
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: for attention, and I've gotten lazy over the years. You
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: might have because the illness could have caused that, but
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: these are not life threatening illnesses.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: Obviously you were sick. I believe that.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: But he just said, you think you took it too
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: far because they weren't life threatening illnesses, and you done
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: got lazy over the years. When a man say you
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: done got lazy over the years, that's everything, and most
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: of it is aesthetics. He said, I have let myself
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: go and he ain't proud to be seen with me
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: in public no more.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: God, dog can't care you know what.
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: You put that tape on them glasses. You ain't trying
- 1:02:33Speaker 6: to get them fixed. You don't wear no makeup no more.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: You're on't eyn your clothes. You're just out here looking
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: like a hamper. And we got to come in this
- 1:02:41Speaker 6: restaurant in here, and you ain't taking care of yourself
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: no more. And the last thing you look like you
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: need to be is in a restaurant. So now I'm
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: tired of you, he said. My bad sleeping habits keep
- 1:02:52Speaker 6: him awake all night, and the TV is always loud,
- 1:02:55Speaker 6: so he's moving to the bedroom downstairs permanently. When I
- 1:02:59Speaker 6: tried to talk to my daughter, my daughter spoke up
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: and asked me to wait until her dad finished talking. Mama,
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: shut up and hear what he got to say, cause
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: you interrupt him and you twist things so when you
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: try to jump in here, she said, Mama, wait until
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: her dad finished talking. He told me that he's not
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: seeing another woman, even before I could ask him. That
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: was a brilliant move. Let's get that out the way
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: right now, so you don't think this is about somebody else.
- 1:03:27Speaker 6: This about you. Even before I could ask him, he said,
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: I bought this on myself.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: I know I'm bond, you know.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: My saying he hell, I, oh, no, blame to no one.
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: Else, Frankie saying that, And now here you are. I
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: just sat there and said nothing. I can admit. I've
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: had a few minor medical issues recently. I told you
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: it was not life threatening. She had some minor medical issues.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: The man knew was miney, but she dumped it up,
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: murdered in the way more than it is. But they
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: were important to me. Okay, So you had, you had
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: the flu, you had the allergy breakout, you had to
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: take some benitry. Hell, but it was important to me.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: So I don't care what he thinks. Okay, now, since
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: you don't care what he think, why did you write us?
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: I'm the one that was in pain. No, it wasn't
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: that serious. You said minor. After taking what he said
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: in consideration, I asked it we'd go talk to somebody.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: He says, too late for that.
- 1:04:37Speaker 6: I ain't gonna talk nobody. Old black dudes don't like counseling.
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: But I've always slept with the TV on it. I
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: don't clean the house anymore because I hired a housekeeper
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: once a week. She got to get her in that
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: nostat how molden once a week? Cause you can't have
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: no housekeeper once a week? And you to let yourself
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: go too? What is you in here doing? You ain't
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: cleaning the house. You done let yourself go? He downstairs permanently.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: He wanted to delimit the time y'all spend together, and
- 1:05:09Speaker 6: he ain't laying in a bed with don tv on
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: no more. Then, she said, I think as we age
- 1:05:14Speaker 6: some things would change. And he's no angel, but I
- 1:05:17Speaker 6: tolerate his quirks. Well, he don't want to tolerate yours
- 1:05:19Speaker 6: no more. I feel like my daughter siding with him
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: and is wearing on my nerves. She may be you
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: could be wrong, lady. What could I have possibly done
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: to him to cause this? Okay, let's go back over
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: the list. You constantly nag him. You bring up unnecessary
- 1:05:44Speaker 6: topics and turn them into issues. You have minded illnesses
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: that you make more major than they are, and you
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: said they were just important to you.
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: You do let yourself go. You lazy.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: You don't clean the house no more because you got
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: a maid in the coming there once week, but y'all
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: need more than once a week because you don't let
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: yourself go. You got that TV on all night long.
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: He ain't proud to be seen with you in public.
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: What could I have possibly done to him to cause this?
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Did you hear what I just see? Is it an
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: excuse for him to live like he's single again?
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Lady?
- 1:06:22Speaker 6: You're dealing with all the issues that's wrong. Is that
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: an excuse for him to live single again? He don't
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: want to live with you?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: We'll get out? What can he just get out? Then?
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: He ain't got the money? Go, no quess.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: You can comment on today's letter he.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: Moving downstairs permanently.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Or Facebook at Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: He don't Believe in divorce.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Also check out the Strawberry Letter podcast and the free
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: iHeartRadio app. Coming up next, we're going to talk about
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: the CEO who have stepped down from Target Boycott's work.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: We'll get back into that right after this. You're listening
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: This Sunday, the remaining four teams battle to make the
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: championship in the most physical, fierce and competitive basketball league
- 1:07:14Speaker 7: in the world. The action starts with the Big Three
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: Monster Energy Celebrity Game. Then Dwight Howard and his La
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: Riot take on Montane Harrold and Doctor Ja' Chicago Triplets.
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: The finale, we'll see Popular Miami three h five would
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: start MVP Michael Beasley and Land Stevens and take on
- 1:07:30Speaker 7: Nancy Lieberman's Dallas Power who will make it to the
- 1:07:32Speaker 7: Big Three Championship. The action starts Sunday at three pm
- 1:07:35Speaker 7: Eastern twelve Pacific only on CBS.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: All right, normally we do sports talk here, but this
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: is kind of a story that we wanted to talk
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: about because we're kind of all involved in this boycott.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Target CEO Brian Cornell is stepping down. He stepped down
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: after eleven years amid struggles at Target stores. Cornell helped
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: engineer a turnaround at Target, but it's been a rocky
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: few years for Target. Of late incoming Target CEO Michael Fidelki,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: a veteran leader at the company, we'll have a tough
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: task now as he faces tumbling sales, TARFF pressure and
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: a consumer slowdown. But Target has been in a deep
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: slump for years, mostly due to its own strategic missteps.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: The company has quickly fallen behind rivals like Walmart, Amazon
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: and Costco. And they can say all this, but what
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: they haven't said is the boycott that was implemented. It
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: works after they cut out their DEI programs. That's basically
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: what happened.
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: Well, you know, listen to this. It would be very
- 1:08:37Speaker 6: simple for the new CEO to come in and re
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: implement the policy. You all just followed the instructions of
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: Donald Trump and Project twenty twenty five.
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: Well you see what it cost you. It cost you sales,
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: it cost you your job.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: Thankfully to Jamal Brian who did an outstanding job in
- 1:08:56Speaker 6: organizing a boycott and for.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: The people who followed through. Now it's simple.
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: All you have to do is go back and retract
- 1:09:04Speaker 6: and say, hey, look we allow this CEO to make
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: a huge mistake in gamble with going along. But DEI
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: is diversity, equity, equality, equity, and inclusion. What's wrong with
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: any of those words. But when you choose to take
- 1:09:22Speaker 6: those three words and make that a case for your store,
- 1:09:26Speaker 6: you are a fool. Target should look like America, Dollar General,
- 1:09:32Speaker 6: dollar Tree, and all them other dollars are to look
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: like America. But that's who supports you and I'm gonna
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: tell you right now, when you start closing these dollar generals,
- 1:09:41Speaker 6: you're gonna.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Hurt a lot of people in Rule America. And it
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: may just black people.
- 1:09:46Speaker 6: See, you all are not understanding the full impact and
- 1:09:50Speaker 6: brunt of this policy that this new administration has, and
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: you get and you get slicked with their diversion tactics
- 1:10:00Speaker 6: and all this here.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: What they call it.
- 1:10:01Speaker 6: But the reason they're getting away with this is for
- 1:10:04Speaker 6: two reasons. First of all, the Democrats are sitting here
- 1:10:08Speaker 6: without a plan. In Texas, they passed the ruling to redistrict.
- 1:10:14Speaker 6: So do you know what Governor Newsom did in California?
- 1:10:17Speaker 6: He said to all set it. He's gonna redistrict California.
- 1:10:21Speaker 6: Who has enough seats to all set the new games?
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: Here comes this Latino lady on TV last night, who's
- 1:10:28Speaker 6: a Republican who's going to fight him tooth and nail
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: because that's not the law of And Democrats are sitting there.
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: Hey man, When they do it in Texas and then
- 1:10:37Speaker 6: you do it in California, we breaking the law. Yeah, man,
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: we always fight fair. I don't like Democrats no more.
- 1:10:45Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: They weak.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Y'all ain't got no y'all need to get a plan
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: all right.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Coming up, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Morning Show. Kendra and Chattanooga. She needs some advice, she says.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: Two of my ex boyfriends showed up at my family
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: reunion last month, and my husband still brings it up
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: as if I personally invited them to be there. I
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: can't make my dad and my brothers stop bringing friends
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: with my exes. I don't ever talk to my exes,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: but when I see them, I speak to them because
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: it's childish not to Why is my husband so upset
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: when he knows I don't deal with them at all?
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Will he ever let this go?
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: No?
- 1:11:31Speaker 6: No, he not finna let that go? And your family
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: wrong for that? Just how of respect to the husband?
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: All they was was boyfriend. This man made a total commitment.
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: Your father and your brother need to say, hey, man,
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: look we can hang out, but we can't be at
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: the family union when they over here, y'all go go
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: fishing together, go play golf, whatever y'all doing, But you
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: can't bring these two boyfriends around here because y'all cool
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: with them. Because that's a slap in the face to
- 1:11:58Speaker 6: the new housbit. He not gonna be all right with that,
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: and your daddy and your brothers is out of line.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: and I agree with you. What if the exes brought
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: their wives or their significant others with them, what that
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: makes they don't?
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: They don't?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: They don't They just come single? Yeah, they coming single
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: thinking they have a shot at her, another.
- 1:12:23Speaker 6: Shot, you know, rubbing it in his face and over
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: there trying to see her. How she doing nothing?
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: I know?
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Men?
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: Don't men, man, men think about that stuff. Me and no,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: me and no.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: All right, So the family, your daddy and your brother
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: no too, Okay, all right, we have time for another one.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: This is from Brittany in Starkville. Brittany says, I'm in
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: graduate school and I have a one year old. My
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: child's daddy is my stepdad's cousin, and no one knows
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: about us. I told my mom that the baby's father
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: is one of my classmates, and she never said anything
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: else about it. It makes me think she doesn't care,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: or she already knows who the father is. Should I
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: bring it up to her or not?
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: I don't know who is your daddy's cousin.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Baby, her stepdad's her mother's husband's cousin. Yeah, her stepdad's cousin.
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Well, step dance cousin, You ain't related to him.
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: Uh uh.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: If this man that you're pregnant by is your stepdance cousin,
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: you're not related to them.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: No, she's not.
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: She's not the baby here right.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: Yeah, the babies a year old?
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and your mom ain't met the daddy yet.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: She told, you know, one of her classmates. She just said, mom.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Asked to meet the boy the baby daddy. That don't
- 1:13:50Speaker 2: make no sense.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I know, I don't know how she could get away
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: with this. Yeah, the babies a year old? Yeah, she
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: lies to how mamma said this classmate?
- 1:13:58Speaker 8: Right?
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: But she yeah, she did. She told the mom it
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: was her classmate. Right. But now she's wondering why her
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: mother hasn't said anything. Does she already know or does
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: she not just just not care?
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: Didn't you tell her it was your classmate? She did?
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: She did? Maybe the lie worked, Maybe you did, right? Oh,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: the mama knows she lying? And wait on, so.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: That's what she's asking. Should she bring it up to
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: the mother or not. That's what she won't know. You
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: don't know, he said, that's the second time he said that.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: Well, here's what you ought to do. Okay, come on,
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: since y'all love the truth so much, going in there
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: and tell the truth. Uh huh okay, see what that
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: gets you.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Well, she doesn't want to be judged because she's had
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: a baby by her stepdad's cousin.
- 1:14:54Speaker 16: Is that what this is?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why she lies. I'm assuming that must be it.
- 1:14:58Speaker 6: Yeah, probably, but it don't make no difference the baby here,
- 1:15:02Speaker 6: you're not related to the man. How old is your daddy?
- 1:15:06Speaker 6: Stepdaddy couldst say?
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Well, she's in graduate school, so.
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: You got to step up and take care of his baby. Yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: Now, if he's sixty six, if he's let's hope not
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: if a stepdaddy's club one year old's sixty six, O, God, listen,
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: we at least hoping he make the graduation.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming

- 1:16:11Speaker 7: if they're not gonna be with each other, And that's
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: that's that that big decision I've seen. I've seen on
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: several several seasons where they get to the to the
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: end and be like, I choose myself.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: And yeah, yeah, yeah, right, yeah, you.
- 1:16:27Speaker 7: Think the love is gonna work out, You think you
- 1:16:29Speaker 7: got a connection, And at the very end, I choose myself.
- 1:16:32Speaker 7: Some of them choose each other. And then you know,
- 1:16:33Speaker 7: you look further down the line and some of them
- 1:16:36Speaker 7: still together, and then some I'm getting married, some of
- 1:16:38Speaker 7: them holding on.
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: So it just you just never know.

- 1:19:04Speaker 6: You regular season? Come please, don't let us see the Eagles.
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Okay, chance football came back fast this year. It's always
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: like they did not.
- 1:19:15Speaker 2: Don't say that no more.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: That sounds like it to me.
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: It's not that it's a pre season. It's preseason. Because
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: my husband to count down, it took forever. It seemed
- 1:19:28Speaker 5: like it was like just yesterday, all right?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: Would you would you rather cuddle with a grizzly grizzly
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: bear or cuddle with your ex?
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: And I kissed that bear dead in the mind.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: Bear down, bear dead in.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: The month. I'm gonna get him some honey. I'm gonna
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: get him anything. It's the same thing either way.
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Bad bad, He's wrong for that. Would you rather ride
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: down a steep hill on a bicycle, or would you
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: rather run up a hill barefoot?
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: I'm going downhill.
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: You're gonna bust you.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: To the white me call it. But that's all right,
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: God though, that barefoot uphill.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: Got some pain, right, I know if it's in some
- 1:20:29Speaker 6: grass somewhere, because that bike downhill it's scary.
- 1:20:34Speaker 2: No bricks.
- 1:20:35Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't have the bike skills I used to
- 1:20:37Speaker 6: have when I was a little boy out of here.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: I'd have went down that hill, no questions.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: Asked, fearlessness as a kid.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: We even had no helmet.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: No, we didn't know.
- 1:20:46Speaker 2: No pads, no pads, none of it.
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: All right?
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: Would you rather have sex when you want to? Or
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: would you rather have sex on a routine schedule, you know,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: like every Friday.
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: I need to when it hit me, whenever I want.
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: Okay, whenever you want what I want?
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: A little some, I'm a little some right now.

- 1:21:13Speaker 2: Lord, exuse me.
- 1:21:19Speaker 16: That's today's round than which you rather coming up next?
- 1:21:23Speaker 16: It is our last break of the day, and we

- 1:22:26Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last, last, last
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: break on this Friday. It's been a great day, and
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: we're grateful. We're grateful to be here, and we're grateful
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: that you listen to us every day, and we thank you,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: thank you.
- 1:22:41Speaker 6: I would like to explain the things in my closing remarks.
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: You know, listen, I was talking with somebody yesterday. They said, man, uh,
- 1:22:54Speaker 6: you don't seem to be covering a lot of the
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: presidential issues on your show. I said, well, that's not
- 1:22:59Speaker 6: our problem, Mary position, I said, we took a real
- 1:23:01Speaker 6: heavy stance on voting. We asked people to vote, vote, vote,
- 1:23:05Speaker 6: vote vote. I mean, we wore it out, we exhausted ourselves,
- 1:23:09Speaker 6: and then all we got in return was he's in
- 1:23:12Speaker 6: the White House and by over five million popular votes,
- 1:23:17Speaker 6: which meant that a lot of the country who we
- 1:23:22Speaker 6: had hoped would see the truth of who he is,
- 1:23:25Speaker 6: saw the truth of who he is and wanted it anyway.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: And then there are those who are just not going
- 1:23:32Speaker 6: to vote for a black woman period. That's not going
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: to happen. I don't care what the other option is.
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: So now we have what we have, what we have.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: I think Jamal Brian did an excellent job with organizing
- 1:23:49Speaker 6: the target boycott because of their stance on DEI. But
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: DEI was a proposal in the Project twenty twenty five.
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: The Democrats pointed that out over and over and over.
- 1:24:04Speaker 6: But the general population of America doesn't care about Project
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: twenty twenty five because they didn't think it would affect them.
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: They thought that DEI was just about black people and
- 1:24:15Speaker 6: people of colored, brown people. But what they found out
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: was DII affected the most. The biggest group was white women.
- 1:24:23Speaker 6: How many jobs they lost in corporate American things like
- 1:24:26Speaker 6: that because of DEI. But When Jamal Bryant decided to
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: go against Target, he did a heck of a thing.
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: Now that Target CEO has stepped down, they talking about
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: over the years slumping sales. Now the past two years
- 1:24:41Speaker 6: is what really cost him his job because they went
- 1:24:45Speaker 6: along with the President's Wishing Project twenty twenty five to
- 1:24:49Speaker 6: enforce to get rid of their DEI. They didn't want
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: any more diversity, they didn't want any more equality or equity.
- 1:24:57Speaker 6: They didn't want any more inclusion. This is all part
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: of making America great again. So listen to me, y'all.
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: What are we going to do? Because I am so
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: fed up with politics and politicians and their party. I'm
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: so tired of the Republican Party leadership cowering down to
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: everything this man says, even when they don't agree with it.
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: I watched the lady from Alaska say she didn't agree
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: with this for her constituents and then voted for the
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: big beautiful bill, stood there and vehemently disagreed with it
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: and voted for it anyway. I was sitting there looking
- 1:25:38Speaker 6: at this woman, going, I really appreciate what you're saying,
- 1:25:41Speaker 6: but you voted for it anyway. And then I watch
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: the Democrats, and all we do is react to what
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: the Republican Party is doing, and we're always too late.
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: We are going to continue to talk about the issues
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: that America concerns, the cost of food, the cost of groceries,
- 1:26:01Speaker 6: and the Epstein files. I don't give a dog gone
- 1:26:06Speaker 6: about the Epstein files. I really don't, man, And y'all
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: quit talking about the Magabase cares about that because they
- 1:26:15Speaker 6: don't either because Donald Trump told them to stop caring
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: about that. You ain't heard no more about it, and
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: you're not, Finn open up the files and guess what.
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: The cost of everything is still rising. It's not going
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: to change.
- 1:26:30Speaker 2: What are we gonna do? Well, here's a suggestion I
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: have for my listeners.
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: Put your faith in God, take it out of man,
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: because we already see the type of men that we're
- 1:26:42Speaker 6: dealing with. They in the White House, they in Congress,
- 1:26:46Speaker 6: and they in the Senate, and I ain't seen one
- 1:26:50Speaker 6: of them. Then you know what, and we all jump
- 1:26:52Speaker 6: behind this sister in Texas who spent the night.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: In the army.
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: Yeah, we all supported her, But how come what was
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: the rest of Democrats with her staying in that?
- 1:27:08Speaker 11: With her?
- 1:27:10Speaker 6: Where was the rest of them at so you know
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: we support her fully, you know, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: Well you support why ain't you in that?
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: Widow?
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: One person ain't finna change nothing, man, She ain't even
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: spark nothing. We just just sitting here as Democrats, man,
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: just with nothing. We are letting them just do what
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: they want to do and then we complain about it.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: Who has an idea of what we should do. I'm
- 1:27:37Speaker 6: gonna tell you right now, Steve Harvey, don't have an
- 1:27:39Speaker 6: idea except this one right here.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: I have no more faith in man.
- 1:27:44Speaker 6: I put it all in God right now, and God
- 1:27:47Speaker 6: gonna get me through this like he's gotten me through
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: everything else. Because if you think the Republican Party is
- 1:27:53Speaker 6: finna act right, you are sadly mistaken. They have been
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: hijacked by Donald J. Trump, and he doing whatever he wanted.
- 1:28:01Speaker 6: The big beautiful bill that passed, the redistricting in Texas
- 1:28:06Speaker 6: that passed.
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: They're just doing what they want to do.
