- 0:26Speaker 1: together for ste Barby, I don't join joining me. Have
- 0:58Speaker 1: you gotta turn hurting them, You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, got to turn them out, to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water. Come, come on your baby at it?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh I shore will, I'm good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice. Come on, come on, y'all dig
- 2:08Speaker 1: me now. One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Is God good to me? Unbelievable? Yeah, he is? And
- 2:17Speaker 1: and I can only attribute it to one thing. It's
- 2:20Speaker 1: just been a turnaround in my life. It's it's been
- 2:23Speaker 1: me finally making a decision to see what all God
- 2:27Speaker 1: has from me, but at the same time trying to
- 2:30Speaker 1: be more God wants me to be instead of more
- 2:33Speaker 1: of what I want to be. That's the trade off.
- 2:35Speaker 1: You know, you gotta do something now. You know you
- 2:37Speaker 1: know you want God's blessings. You gotta be willing to
- 2:40Speaker 1: do something on his behalf now I'm not saying I
- 2:43Speaker 1: got it right right now, because I'm just being real
- 2:47Speaker 1: with you. I don't. I don't have it all together
- 2:50Speaker 1: by any stretch of imagination of I'm trying to get
- 2:53Speaker 1: better in several areas. I'm praying about it. I'm working
- 2:57Speaker 1: on it. But you know, it's a process, and I've
- 3:00Speaker 1: I've grown to accept the process. But I'm improving in
- 3:04Speaker 1: a lot of areas from day to day. But I'll
- 3:06Speaker 1: tell you what, man, my success all is going on
- 3:09Speaker 1: with me I can only attribute to this turnaround. And
- 3:13Speaker 1: the turnaround was simple. I turned around and started looking
- 3:17Speaker 1: at God. That was a simple move, man. I just
- 3:21Speaker 1: turned around and started looking at him, and I was going, Okay,
- 3:24Speaker 1: I get it. Now, you created me. You're the creator.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You have a purpose for me. I understand that. Now.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Now let me just walk in that purpose and let
- 3:35Speaker 1: me get to doing that purpose. Now, my purpose and
- 3:39Speaker 1: your purpose and their purpose and anybody's perfect purpose could
- 3:43Speaker 1: be different, and the way you go about the purpose
- 3:47Speaker 1: can be different. And that's the part that I've really
- 3:50Speaker 1: grown up to. I've opened up my mind to understanding
- 3:53Speaker 1: that everybody's different, nobody's quite the same, and that is
- 3:58Speaker 1: not my right or position to jail judge, but to
- 4:01Speaker 1: be of a forgiving spirit and understand and forgive those
- 4:05Speaker 1: as I ask God to forgive me. See that's the key.
- 4:09Speaker 1: That's the key, y'all. So when you out here and
- 4:11Speaker 1: you stuck on this unforgiveness, understand in the large prayer
- 4:17Speaker 1: as a segment that says, forgive us our trust passes
- 4:21Speaker 1: as we forgive those who trust pass against us. There's
- 4:24Speaker 1: another version says forgive us our debts as we forgive
- 4:27Speaker 1: our debt us. It's two different versions, but either one
- 4:32Speaker 1: it means the exact same thing. It means simply this
- 4:36Speaker 1: that you are asking God to forgive yours like you
- 4:41Speaker 1: forgive others. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 4:46Speaker 1: those who trust pass against us. When I crossed the
- 4:48Speaker 1: line with you, God handle me the way I handle
- 4:53Speaker 1: people when they cross the line with me. You feel
- 4:56Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you, See you understand that. That's
- 4:58Speaker 1: the breakdown of it. Best way I can give it
- 5:01Speaker 1: to you. Forgive us our trust passes as we forgive
- 5:05Speaker 1: those who trust pass against us. Forgive me God for
- 5:08Speaker 1: stepping over the line, like I forgive those that step
- 5:11Speaker 1: over the line on me. That's the hard part, man,
- 5:15Speaker 1: that's the part man, I've really been working on. I've
- 5:17Speaker 1: been really trying to get that together. And so I've
- 5:20Speaker 1: learned forgiveness a lot better over the past five years
- 5:24Speaker 1: than I have before. And it's paid off. I can't
- 5:28Speaker 1: tell you how it was paid off, because now God's
- 5:32Speaker 1: mercy and grace is all over me because I've learned
- 5:36Speaker 1: to become more graceful. Now. I ain't graceful like him,
- 5:41Speaker 1: I ain't merciful like him, but I've learned to become
- 5:45Speaker 1: more more graceful, more merciful, because man, I can't live
- 5:49Speaker 1: my life like that. I just got sick of me. Man,
- 5:52Speaker 1: you're mad at me now, I'm mad at you. You
- 5:55Speaker 1: hating on me. Now I'm gonna hate on you. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: ain't got time for that, man, I've got you. Look here,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you got somewhere to go. Hate take up time. It's
- 6:05Speaker 1: time consuming, and hating trying to seek revenge it's time consuming.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It take up way too much of your time to
- 6:13Speaker 1: seek revenge when vengeance ain't really yours. That's another one.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Vengeance is mine, say if the Lord it ain't yours.
- 6:21Speaker 1: So now when you go to seek it to take
- 6:23Speaker 1: it out. Guess what you're doing. You're doing something now. Man,
- 6:27Speaker 1: Now you off in the area that you've got no
- 6:30Speaker 1: business being in. And instead of steady climbing your letterer
- 6:33Speaker 1: like you're supposed to, you didn't take out time for
- 6:36Speaker 1: vengeance to hate. I'm a hater. I'm gonna be a blogger.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'm a blog about so and so. When you're blogging
- 6:45Speaker 1: about somebody, and most of these people you don't even
- 6:48Speaker 1: know when you're blogging about somebody what you're doing, what
- 6:52Speaker 1: you're hating. It takes time to hate. Man. I just decided, Man,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I gotta tell all my time. And instead of have
- 7:02Speaker 1: doing time and being active, I got to be proactive.
- 7:07Speaker 1: See some people get that confused, being active and being proactive.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Pro is positive. Pro means to move forward. You know,
- 7:17Speaker 1: if you put pro in front of most words, it's
- 7:19Speaker 1: a positive influence. You know, does the pros and the cons?
- 7:24Speaker 1: The pros is the good side, the cons is what
- 7:27Speaker 1: can go wrong the bad side. You know, if you're active,
- 7:31Speaker 1: that's one thing. But if you're pro active, you're going
- 7:34Speaker 1: forward in a positive direction. When you become a pro
- 7:38Speaker 1: that means you the best of the best at whatever
- 7:41Speaker 1: it is you chosen to be. I'm a pro so somehow,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I know English teacher grammatical god. The word pro
- 7:51Speaker 1: a lot of times when you put it in front
- 7:53Speaker 1: of something means positiveness. So now a lot of people
- 7:58Speaker 1: think that if you just active something all to happen. Well,
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'm doing something, and that's what happens. Man, We just
- 8:04Speaker 1: find ourselves doing a lot of busy work that really
- 8:06Speaker 1: ain't bout nothing. It ain't going the way. It ain't
- 8:08Speaker 1: got no direction or no purpose because we haven't tried
- 8:12Speaker 1: to find out the direction of purpose. So you wake
- 8:14Speaker 1: up and you and your wheels are spinning. You a
- 8:18Speaker 1: hamster on a tread meal. You're running real fast, but
- 8:20Speaker 1: you're just going in the same spot. You understand that's
- 8:23Speaker 1: because you're just out here being active instead of proactive.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Why don't you get God in your life. Why don't
- 8:29Speaker 1: you turn and face your creative and find out how
- 8:32Speaker 1: to become more proactive so you can do things to
- 8:35Speaker 1: move yourself forward. How you can get your life off
- 8:38Speaker 1: the ground and get off the tread meal and really
- 8:41Speaker 1: get it rolling in the direction that it need to
- 8:43Speaker 1: be going. Man, I'm telling you God can make that
- 8:47Speaker 1: change for you. If he see you making the change
- 8:50Speaker 1: for him. See the whole key man, the whole kids.
- 8:54Speaker 1: You got to be willing to do something. You got
- 8:57Speaker 1: to give God something to bless bless me God, and
- 9:01Speaker 1: then you go sit on your couch and you ain't trying. Okay,
- 9:04Speaker 1: bless me God with what what? What? What? What are
- 9:08Speaker 1: you working with? He can't have the people hire you
- 9:11Speaker 1: if you ain't put the app in. Come on, man,
- 9:14Speaker 1: the blessing comes when you make a proactive step, when
- 9:18Speaker 1: you try to do something on the positive side. Look, man,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna quit messing around with all these people. I'm
- 9:24Speaker 1: gonna start going home. I'm gonna leave these women loan
- 9:27Speaker 1: out here. You got to say, all right, man, I
- 9:29Speaker 1: ain't going over that at night. I just ain't gonna
- 9:32Speaker 1: get Then God can work with you. God help me
- 9:35Speaker 1: stop seeing all these women. But you steady going over
- 9:38Speaker 1: there calling them setting up stuff. Can't nobody help you
- 9:43Speaker 1: because once you get over there, you already know. See,
- 9:47Speaker 1: you gotta get proactive. You gotta do something yourself. You
- 9:50Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. That that's the key man.
- 9:54Speaker 1: So come on, y'all, you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let
- 10:02Speaker 1: me have it. Yeah, you know what it is. Attention please,
- 10:07Speaker 1: this is a Steve Harvey Morning Show. This show right
- 10:11Speaker 1: here's live. This show is in color. About color and
- 10:16Speaker 1: anybody else? All of us are colored anyway some shade
- 10:22Speaker 1: of something. That's right. Uh, this is a matter of fact,
- 10:26Speaker 1: speaking of attention, today's show is dedicated to people with
- 10:30Speaker 1: attention deficit disorder. Can't hardly pay attention that much. Oh
- 10:36Speaker 1: that's kind of me. Yeah, that's kind of me too.
- 10:42Speaker 1: So now that we know what that is, all y'all
- 10:46Speaker 1: that can't pay attention that good, this show is dedicated
- 10:50Speaker 1: to you, and what we're asking you to do today
- 10:52Speaker 1: is not going to pay attention. Okay through your head,
- 10:57Speaker 1: quit drifting off, sure, straw Beard. Oh hey, I had
- 11:03Speaker 1: just dripped it off. Good morning, Steve. Are you doing
- 11:08Speaker 1: real good? Call it for real? I am paying attention.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Good morning sir. Hello crew, Junior, huh oh, I'm the
- 11:19Speaker 1: only one listening. Yeah what No? My attentions? Man? Is
- 11:25Speaker 1: that of a three year old? What are we doing
- 11:28Speaker 1: right there? The show? But thank you for dedicating come
- 11:32Speaker 1: to a Steve Morning Off. Okay, everybody kidding about that? Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 1: I was just saying, huh, all the time. What are
- 11:47Speaker 1: we doing? Where are we what are we doing? Focus? Focus?
- 11:56Speaker 1: People focused. I'm here. I'm excited about waking up every day.
- 12:00Speaker 1: So I'm here. Man, No, thank you? Yes man? Yeah yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 1: So let me ask you guys something I never asked you. Shirley, Yes,
- 12:12Speaker 1: watch on the dream board that you're looking forward to
- 12:15Speaker 1: accomplish it? Uh? Something with my daughter. A project I
- 12:22Speaker 1: have going on with my daughter Carla Uh um having
- 12:28Speaker 1: um adopting a child because I'm not gonna have another baby.
- 12:33Speaker 1: So oh you were Oh I didn't know that. I
- 12:36Speaker 1: want to we want to grow our family. Yeah. Wow,
- 12:39Speaker 1: that's pretty slick, Cala, Carla Junior, Uh, one day have
- 12:46Speaker 1: my own want to show Really, Junior, you can do that.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It's awesome, Carl Julia in the morning, claim it? What
- 12:58Speaker 1: about you? Steve Harvey? How to watch it? Things I'm
- 13:02Speaker 1: grateful for. I'm glad I'm not a politician. Hey, Manico
- 13:06Speaker 1: was really really strange though, And I just want to
- 13:09Speaker 1: say this, I really I'm not surprised, but I'm like
- 13:16Speaker 1: really amazed at how the Republican Party is so quiet
- 13:24Speaker 1: about what Donald Trump has done. Really it's not right,
- 13:30Speaker 1: but they are extremely quiet about it and it's really
- 13:34Speaker 1: really alarming. Yeah, all right, we'll be back with more
- 13:39Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening.
- 13:46Speaker 1: We need to find out it was a good weekend.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Weatherwise not so much, but we got to find out
- 13:52Speaker 1: what the crew did over the weekend. Let's start with you,
- 13:56Speaker 1: mister Harvey. How is your weekend? My weekend was like,
- 14:04Speaker 1: it was wonderful. Well, I spent most of it traveler
- 14:07Speaker 1: though I spent it, Uh, most half of my travel
- 14:13Speaker 1: time was in the air. The other half was only
- 14:16Speaker 1: delayed or delayed rain delayed in Dubai, and then the
- 14:23Speaker 1: rest of it was got on the plane and set
- 14:26Speaker 1: on the runway and then the rest of it was
- 14:28Speaker 1: flying some more. So I just been in the air
- 14:31Speaker 1: all weekend. I don't know what today is. I don't
- 14:35Speaker 1: know what I'm doing. I do know I'm in Africa
- 14:38Speaker 1: and that's it. And my jet lag. Yes, do I
- 14:41Speaker 1: know what the hell going on? No? Nothing? Well, thank
- 14:47Speaker 1: you sir for that for that report. Got a lot
- 14:51Speaker 1: of miles, hun got some mileage out of it, though, Girl,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm so tired. But you know what this is, twenty
- 15:02Speaker 1: twenty is the year of no complaining for me. So
- 15:06Speaker 1: I had a flight, I had a wonderful layover. Uh yeah,
- 15:12Speaker 1: the Dubai airport is like amazing place. Now I could
- 15:17Speaker 1: have got a hotel, but I didn't want one because
- 15:22Speaker 1: you know, I don't I don't like leaving the airport.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And so the Dubai Airport has everything. Is top of
- 15:28Speaker 1: the line shopping. They've got cigar lounges, bars, hooka massages, showers,
- 15:38Speaker 1: quiet rooms, and I mean it's very private when you
- 15:42Speaker 1: have this premium ticket, so you can walk around shop.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I actually found uh the iPod earbuds that's uh out
- 15:52Speaker 1: into February. You can't order into February. I found them
- 15:56Speaker 1: exclusive Dubai, uh you know, or designs and stuff. So
- 16:03Speaker 1: I got laid out in the airport and shopping. Everything
- 16:06Speaker 1: had three meals waiting on it, and I'm happy, no complaint.
- 16:13Speaker 1: So you're just round that eating and shopping in the airport.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Though you're a little famous behind, you're famous behind. Just
- 16:23Speaker 1: back there, just shopping sounds like fun, right yeah. Well
- 16:31Speaker 1: see but okay, okay, okay, but okay, but here's the
- 16:36Speaker 1: deal though, this is why I got tell you, uh
- 16:39Speaker 1: that that Emirate's first class and at Hard. At Hard
- 16:45Speaker 1: is another Middle Eastern airline, you Aine airline that goes
- 16:50Speaker 1: into Abu Dhabi. Those airlines are like made really really incredible.
- 16:56Speaker 1: So when you do have a layover and you in
- 17:00Speaker 1: first class, they have a first class floor that's just
- 17:05Speaker 1: for first class. So all the shops that's on the
- 17:08Speaker 1: main terminal level are upstairs. And you know, I mean
- 17:12Speaker 1: it's up there. Is Louis Vuton, is Gucci, is Rolex,
- 17:17Speaker 1: It's Samsung, is our part anything, I don't care what
- 17:20Speaker 1: it is. You want wines, alcohols, it's all up there.
- 17:24Speaker 1: You could shop and you don't have to you're not
- 17:26Speaker 1: on the rent main terminal level doing it. And then
- 17:30Speaker 1: and then you got to cigall lounges. You got your
- 17:34Speaker 1: showers up there, you got your rooms that you can rent,
- 17:37Speaker 1: and you can get a hotel room if you want one.
- 17:39Speaker 1: It's right there. It's all on the same level. So yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 17:44Speaker 1: they got anything. It's dope. You got to do it
- 17:47Speaker 1: one time. All y'all going to Dubai. You got to go.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Oh lord him Erst, I would love you. I've never
- 17:54Speaker 1: been any place where I could shower and shop at
- 17:56Speaker 1: the same do you know how much in heaven. I
- 18:00Speaker 1: know you ain't been getting precious so clean clean even
- 18:04Speaker 1: then we can shop, Carla, come on, man and pass out.
- 18:11Speaker 1: She spent all the money she can't get back. You
- 18:14Speaker 1: will never hear these words from me. Girl. We gotta go.
- 18:17Speaker 1: We gotta stop shopping because we at least got to
- 18:19Speaker 1: take a shower. Oh, we could do it right here
- 18:21Speaker 1: in the moment. One time I was shopping with Shirley.
- 18:27Speaker 1: One time I went shopping with Shirley. We kept going,
- 18:30Speaker 1: we were going, we were going. I said, Shirley, now
- 18:32Speaker 1: you know I gotta eat. You know I can't get
- 18:34Speaker 1: something to eat. I said, that was gum. Shirley, that
- 18:37Speaker 1: was some chewing gum. That's go. We've got to eat.
- 18:43Speaker 1: She was like, okay, like she's mad at me. Yeah,
- 18:47Speaker 1: I don't eat when I'm shopping. I do not eat.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Only she was like, hurry up, Yes, we gotta go
- 18:56Speaker 1: over there, said the buy so we could be wide
- 18:58Speaker 1: with Junior. Yeah. See, Junior, your problem is you don't
- 19:04Speaker 1: have a wife, so you don't know none of this. Nah,
- 19:08Speaker 1: you don't know the shopping problem that they all have.
- 19:13Speaker 1: You don't know a gene. Yes, you get nervous shopping
- 19:20Speaker 1: nervous as hend be sitting up like a little jack
- 19:25Speaker 1: rabbit in the rattlesnake cage. But Junior, you know how
- 19:33Speaker 1: you get so excited when you watch a football game.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Let's say, yeah, how you're all and stuff like that.
- 19:39Speaker 1: That's what shopping does for us. That's it. Yes, absolutely,
- 19:43Speaker 1: that's our football. It's like scoring a touchdown. Yes, yes,
- 19:49Speaker 1: shoes touchdown, write Stee, Junior. It's actually the sad thing
- 19:58Speaker 1: about what they're saying is it's actually bigger than that
- 20:02Speaker 1: for them. It's bigger than a damn touchdown. Shopping for them,
- 20:07Speaker 1: it's like going to the super Bowl every shit. Yes,
- 20:13Speaker 1: that's a great description, Steve. Yeah, yeah, man, I'll be
- 20:19Speaker 1: playing for you. Hang hanging nest though not the shout
- 20:27Speaker 1: out to the husband's though, yeah, right hanging he will
- 20:37Speaker 1: shout yourself, Wow, we gotta get out of here. Coming
- 20:43Speaker 1: up next in his junior in for the nephew with
- 20:46Speaker 1: a prank phone call. Right after this. You're listening all right.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, miss Anne
- 20:55Speaker 1: will be here with today's national news and an entertainment news.
- 20:59Speaker 1: The Endable ACP Image Award nominations have been announced we'll
- 21:03Speaker 1: talk about those right after. Right at the top of
- 21:05Speaker 1: the hour, let's say, but right now it is time
- 21:08Speaker 1: for the prank phone call of the day, and Junior
- 21:11Speaker 1: is in for the nephew. What you got, Junior? Christmas

- 22:16Speaker 1: had a conversation. When you gonna take these down? Man?
- 22:20Speaker 1: We go through this every year, and uh, it ain't

- 22:26Speaker 1: what what? What? What do you mean they're gonna stay up?
- 22:29Speaker 1: Did I start up? I said the lights are gonna

- 22:35Speaker 1: Christmas is over. The lights ain't finn to stay up? Okay,
- 22:40Speaker 1: call you nightely and tell you that the lights need
- 22:43Speaker 1: to come down. You know, I don't. I don't even
- 22:46Speaker 1: why do you have your lights up after Christmas? Santa

- 23:11Speaker 1: your number. But that's but that's neither here nor there.
- 23:14Speaker 1: The big issue is the Christmas lights just got to

- 28:00Speaker 1: but you know it still reminds you that, you know, Christmas.
- 28:04Speaker 1: We just had it a couple of weeks ago. I
- 28:07Speaker 1: like people who keep up around. Yeah, you know, when
- 28:10Speaker 1: I get back around, all they do would go outside,
- 28:13Speaker 1: plug me in. I remember one time I was in
- 28:17Speaker 1: the car with this friend of mine and we were
- 28:20Speaker 1: going over to a dinner after church at their family's house.
- 28:25Speaker 1: So we were riding in the car and we turned
- 28:27Speaker 1: up the street and I was like, this was about
- 28:30Speaker 1: like April or May, and so I was like, they
- 28:33Speaker 1: still had Christmas lights. So I was like, Oh my god,
- 28:36Speaker 1: who in the world has these Christmas lights still up?
- 28:38Speaker 1: It's almost east to time. Now it's time for Memorial Day.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Pull right into that driveway. It was his grandmother's house.

- 31:49Speaker 1: he's got all kinds of love on this show though,
- 31:52Speaker 1: out on tour with Tommy saying hey stop stop stop Tommy,

- 32:16Speaker 1: While in other entertainment news, r Kelly's girlfriend Jocelyn Savage
- 32:20Speaker 1: reunited with her family for the first time in three years.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Attorney Gerald Griggs says that Joy Joycelyn's immediate family members
- 32:27Speaker 1: were secretly brought to the holding area of the Chicago
- 32:30Speaker 1: courthouse on Thursday for a private meeting. Meeting took place
- 32:34Speaker 1: before Joycelyn was released on bond for her alleged fight
- 32:37Speaker 1: with R Kelly's other girlfriend. Asrielle Clary at the singer's
- 32:41Speaker 1: Trump Tower condo, family talked for about twenty minutes. Her
- 32:44Speaker 1: parents made sure she had contact them for info from them.
- 32:48Speaker 1: As Rielle has reportedly moved out of the condo and
- 32:51Speaker 1: moved in with her family. She's considering flipping on the
- 32:53Speaker 1: singer and cooperating with the feds. The only thing stopping
- 32:57Speaker 1: her from talking is her fear of repercussion from Kelly
- 33:00Speaker 1: and his team. Wow, all right, Steve, time to get
- 33:04Speaker 1: caught up on today's headlines. Who that's a lot, ladies
- 33:07Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Without further ado, miss Anne trip, Thank you
- 33:11Speaker 1: very much everybody, And here's the news. Iranian citizens took
- 33:15Speaker 1: to the streets of the capitol of city of Tehran
- 33:17Speaker 1: over the weekend to put pressure on their leaders to
- 33:20Speaker 1: quit over the way they handle the downing of that
- 33:22Speaker 1: Ukrainian passenger jet. This coming after the Iranian military finally
- 33:25Speaker 1: admitted that they did it, that they mistakenly shot it
- 33:28Speaker 1: down last Wednesday, basically out of fear that it may
- 33:31Speaker 1: have been an American missile. Yesterday, Iranians chanted they are
- 33:34Speaker 1: lying that our enemy is America. Our enemy is right here.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Some of the other chants apologize and resign. Canadian Prime
- 33:41Speaker 1: Minister Justin Trudeau calling for an investigation into the down
- 33:44Speaker 1: plane where all aboard were killed, among them dozens of
- 33:47Speaker 1: Canadian citizens. Trudeau says he wants a credible probe as
- 33:50Speaker 1: well as compensation for the victims' families. Get this, A
- 33:53Speaker 1: lot of Canadians are blaming Donald Trump for goading and
- 33:57Speaker 1: scaring the Iranians so bad that they actually got that
- 34:00Speaker 1: plane down, killing over fifty Canadian citizens. As I said,
- 34:04Speaker 1: listen to this. The federal government now warning people about
- 34:06Speaker 1: fake military draft notices demanding that Americans report for duty
- 34:10Speaker 1: to deploy to Iran. These are phony messages, y'all, Okay. Phony.
- 34:14Speaker 1: They threatened their targets with jail time if they don't
- 34:17Speaker 1: get to military recruiters. According to CBS, the Army is
- 34:20Speaker 1: investigating these bogus messages, which they say began appearing on
- 34:23Speaker 1: people's phones last Monday, just as tensions heated up between
- 34:27Speaker 1: the US and Iran. Yesterday was the tenth anniversary of
- 34:31Speaker 1: the seven point or earthquake that tore the country of
- 34:33Speaker 1: Haiti apart. Haitians gathered at church's grave sites and public
- 34:37Speaker 1: momorals yesterday to mark the tragic anniversary. How Speaker Nancy
- 34:41Speaker 1: Pelosi expected to send the articles of impeachment against President
- 34:44Speaker 1: Trump to the US Senate this week. Representive Pelosi scheduled
- 34:48Speaker 1: to meet with House Democrats actually tomorrow to discuss the
- 34:51Speaker 1: timing of a vote on impeachment. Managers, leave it or not.
- 34:56Speaker 1: We have a problem with perhaps health officials saying that
- 34:59Speaker 1: last you're vaping related lung injuries in the US left
- 35:02Speaker 1: fifty five people dead and more than twenty five hundred
- 35:06Speaker 1: people hospitalized. And they say the young people still love
- 35:09Speaker 1: to vape. They think it's fine, and they are very
- 35:11Speaker 1: very very much in danger, health officials say. Tennis superstar
- 35:15Speaker 1: Serena Williams won her first Thailand three years over the weekend.
- 35:19Speaker 1: It was the Auckland Classic. And you know what she's
- 35:21Speaker 1: going to do, The thirty eight year old says, She's
- 35:23Speaker 1: donating our prize money to Australia's bushfire relief fund. That's
- 35:27Speaker 1: what she's doing today is tops at the box office
- 35:30Speaker 1: over the weekend was the World War One film nineteen seventeen,
- 35:33Speaker 1: earning some thirty six million dollars. I have a brother
- 35:37Speaker 1: in the second Battalion. They're walking into a trap. Your
- 35:40Speaker 1: orders are to deliver a message calling off tomorrow morning's attack.
- 35:44Speaker 1: If you fail, it will be a massacre. We've got
- 35:48Speaker 1: orders to cross here. That is the German front Line
- 35:52Speaker 1: nineteen seventeen has already won Golden Glows for Best Drama
- 35:55Speaker 1: and Best Director. Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 35:58Speaker 1: You're listening Morning Show? All right, a lot of football
- 36:02Speaker 1: this past weekend, guys, and Junior is here to break
- 36:06Speaker 1: down the NFL playoffs. Junior, it was a lot of football.
- 36:10Speaker 1: I know you in Africa, but it's a lot of
- 36:12Speaker 1: football being played this playoff football series. Nothing you got
- 36:16Speaker 1: not enough, so sad comment ain't no football news they
- 36:23Speaker 1: ain't There, ain't no highlights, nothing, nothing nothing. So San
- 36:33Speaker 1: Francisco for to nine is beat Minnesota Vikings. Okay, beat them.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Now the NFCI can jump in, Junior, can I jump in?
- 36:42Speaker 1: My husband was so happy Minnesota loss than I don't
- 36:48Speaker 1: know that he was so happy. But the UNAC Championship
- 36:56Speaker 1: Games setting out San Francisco for nine versus the Green
- 36:59Speaker 1: Baby Hacks who you got don't really care, don't really care,
- 37:05Speaker 1: ain't got no dog in that hunt. Once again, I
- 37:08Speaker 1: go back to my statement, neither one of these damn
- 37:12Speaker 1: teams is Cleveland, So I care San Francisco long way away.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I ain't know they was gonna do nothing Green Bay.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Aintybody going up Green Base or I really don't care. Okay, okay, uncle,
- 37:30Speaker 1: Then look hire the Titans beat the Baltimore Ravens. I
- 37:33Speaker 1: know you didn't know that because you're over in Africa,
- 37:35Speaker 1: but now you don't believe this, don't know it. But
- 37:38Speaker 1: I do know that the Titans won, and I don't
- 37:40Speaker 1: know how to La won. But they're gonna be strong
- 37:43Speaker 1: now because I ain't think nobody who's gonna whip that
- 37:45Speaker 1: boy Lamar. I know they got him, but guess what
- 37:49Speaker 1: they're up. Well, So now the AFC Championship Game is
- 37:53Speaker 1: gonna be the Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Man the Titans. That's surprised everybody. Titans beat it, beat
- 38:02Speaker 1: the dog on Ravers. They got a running game, they
- 38:05Speaker 1: got a defense man. But I want Patrick Mahone to
- 38:09Speaker 1: get back in there and win that thing. So you know,
- 38:12Speaker 1: even though I think that Titans got what it takes
- 38:15Speaker 1: to shock them, I'm just secretly pulling for Kansas City.
- 38:19Speaker 1: But if the Titans win, I don't care because ain't
- 38:22Speaker 1: neither one out in Cleveland. That's it. Well, you know
- 38:29Speaker 1: the way, girl, It's gonna be two good games on
- 38:31Speaker 1: next Sunday's Championship Sunday. So you know. Plus, don't forget, Steve,
- 38:34Speaker 1: you are doing NFL honest. Oh yeah, yeah, I'm doing
- 38:38Speaker 1: the NFL honest. And I might get a chance to
- 38:40Speaker 1: meet Tom Brady this year because he ain't in the
- 38:42Speaker 1: Super Bowl. So all right, thank you, Junior. Coming up,
- 38:53Speaker 1: Lonnie Love says black men do not know how to
- 38:57Speaker 1: be faithful because of slavery. Things people say when you
- 39:01Speaker 1: got a white man. Oh no, that was junior, Lonnie.
- 39:08Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back right after this. You're listening
- 39:13Speaker 1: to all right, So Steve Lonnie Love is facing facing
- 39:19Speaker 1: a lot of backlash after she said that slavery is
- 39:22Speaker 1: the reason black men are not faithful. On an episode
- 39:26Speaker 1: of the Real the Ladies Were, they were talking about
- 39:28Speaker 1: Kevin Hart's cheating scandal while Um discussing his new docuseries
- 39:33Speaker 1: don't blink this up anyway. Lonnie said that men in
- 39:38Speaker 1: the black community don't know how to be faithful. Take
- 39:41Speaker 1: a listen in the black community, I want to you know,
- 39:46Speaker 1: I don't speak for the black community, but I do
- 39:48Speaker 1: think that a lot of black men they really don't
- 39:50Speaker 1: know how to have true faithful relationships. They think because
- 39:55Speaker 1: they have money, because they have power, that they can
- 39:58Speaker 1: treat women any kind of w and that it's something
- 40:03Speaker 1: we need to work on. We need to work on that.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Butter and power does not mean that you can just
- 40:08Speaker 1: do it. That is the whole cheese smoke thing like
- 40:13Speaker 1: that goes across the board. But I'm gonna say it's
- 40:16Speaker 1: not across the board because what is happening is that
- 40:19Speaker 1: we are still dealing with the point of slavery, and
- 40:23Speaker 1: we are descendants of slavery, and because our families were
- 40:27Speaker 1: broken up, we still do not have an idea of
- 40:31Speaker 1: how to have together families because our families were broken up. Yeah. Wow, No, No,
- 40:39Speaker 1: if you're looking, if you're looking for the reason why
- 40:43Speaker 1: men cheat, you can pick any number of things. The
- 40:50Speaker 1: male ego, uh, the availability because there are so many
- 40:57Speaker 1: women willing to cheat with you. You can pick slavery
- 41:01Speaker 1: as a reason. You can pick the lack of fathers
- 41:06Speaker 1: in the community. You could pick another thing. But the
- 41:09Speaker 1: mistake that Lonnie's making is when they try to correct her,
- 41:13Speaker 1: she goes, no, no, no, Now, sister, you just said
- 41:16Speaker 1: you don't speak for the black community, but you don't,
- 41:19Speaker 1: and you don't know how why black men cheat. You
- 41:23Speaker 1: can kill any number of reasons, because I am telling
- 41:27Speaker 1: you that are a number I have never in my
- 41:32Speaker 1: life thought the reason for anything I've done, or the
- 41:38Speaker 1: reason that some other men have done in our previous lives,
- 41:43Speaker 1: for terms of infidelity, was because of slavery. Now, so
- 41:48Speaker 1: then if black men and cheat because of slavery, why
- 41:52Speaker 1: do white men and cheat? Because white men do it
- 41:57Speaker 1: at a at a much higher rate than do black men,
- 42:00Speaker 1: whether you know it or not. And it has nothing
- 42:03Speaker 1: to do with money and power. Mail men cheat, truck
- 42:08Speaker 1: drivers cheat, football players cheat, pastors cheat, the dude down
- 42:15Speaker 1: at the convenience stole, that work at the gas station cheat.
- 42:19Speaker 1: All men don't cheat. And so for you to say
- 42:24Speaker 1: no black men. And then when the young lady tried
- 42:27Speaker 1: to correct her and say something to the fact that
- 42:30Speaker 1: that's across the board, no it's not. No cheating is
- 42:34Speaker 1: across the board and it's not that way. And I
- 42:37Speaker 1: don't know what made her think that that was gonna
- 42:39Speaker 1: be a profound statement. And all the people in the
- 42:42Speaker 1: audience clapping, clapping for what for what what did Lonnie say? Lonnie,
- 42:48Speaker 1: Lonnie doesn't know, she don't know, she don't me And
- 42:55Speaker 1: cheating today deadly bout slavery has nothing to do with it.
- 43:01Speaker 1: I mean, we we suffered the effects from slavery and
- 43:04Speaker 1: other things, you know, But I don't know if I've
- 43:06Speaker 1: ever seen it necessarily directly like you're saying, Steve, from
- 43:11Speaker 1: have to do with cheating. It seems like slavery would
- 43:15Speaker 1: bring you closer, you know, especially back in those times
- 43:18Speaker 1: when they were separating the families and mothers from children
- 43:21Speaker 1: and husbands from wives and things like that. Seems like
- 43:24Speaker 1: that would have brought the men closer to the women.
- 43:27Speaker 1: From my perspective, trying to say, because of go ahead, Steve, no,
- 43:32Speaker 1: go ahead, go ahead. I'm trying to figure out if
- 43:35Speaker 1: she was trying to say slavery because of the families
- 43:37Speaker 1: and separating the families, that black men don't know how
- 43:40Speaker 1: to be together, that's exactly, but that's not I don't
- 43:45Speaker 1: think that's that's not a byproduct of slavery. No, that
- 43:49Speaker 1: would bring you closer doing cheating. Cheating is a lot
- 43:52Speaker 1: of other things. It's not that. And you know, come
- 43:56Speaker 1: on now, yeah, coming up next, we told you Junior
- 44:02Speaker 1: is in for the nephew. The nephews out today, but
- 44:04Speaker 1: Junior has a prank phone call and that's coming up
- 44:07Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 44:12Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:14Speaker 1: four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today, subject
- 44:18Speaker 1: I want to get my girlfriend tested. Oh uh huh,
- 44:23Speaker 1: that is a subject. But right now, yes, Steve, Right now,
- 44:27Speaker 1: Junior is in for the nephew with today's prying phone call.
- 44:30Speaker 1: What you got for us, Junior? The prank today the
- 44:32Speaker 1: nephew has left us. It's called baby Wait, Baby, wait, yeah,
- 44:38Speaker 1: you're gonna see what I ate it to see you.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Go ahead, come on, running, cat. I know this bet
- 44:43Speaker 1: not be what I think he's talking about. Baby. Hello, Hello,
- 44:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a trader please. Yeah. This is
- 44:53Speaker 1: traina TRAINA. My name is Ernest. Ernest Murphy down here
- 44:57Speaker 1: at the bus bond with from the school district. Your
- 45:00Speaker 1: son is Devin, am I right? Yeah, okay. Now he's
- 45:06Speaker 1: in the sixth grade. I think, yeah, yeah, everything is fine.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I think he's on he rides bus ninety Bus ninety three.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Does he ride US ninety three? Uh? Yeah, yeah he does. Okay,
- 45:20Speaker 1: So now the school board has implemented a new rule,
- 45:24Speaker 1: and um, we're having to call a lot of parents
- 45:28Speaker 1: and let him know about the new rule for us
- 45:31Speaker 1: as far as the buses are concerned. Now, from my understanding,
- 45:36Speaker 1: each child that gets on the bus has to weigh
- 45:39Speaker 1: less than one hundred and twenty five pounds. That's what
- 45:42Speaker 1: the new rule that is implemented by the board. Did
- 45:46Speaker 1: you say that again? Each child that gets on the
- 45:53Speaker 1: bus has to weigh less than one hundred and twenty
- 45:56Speaker 1: five pounds. I don't understand. Don't understand. So what's okay?
- 46:03Speaker 1: So what does what does that mean? So starting on Monday,
- 46:07Speaker 1: starting no Monday, what they're gonna do, if they're gonna
- 46:09Speaker 1: the bus driver will have a scale and he will
- 46:13Speaker 1: weigh the kids they get on on the bus. I understand. Man.
- 46:17Speaker 1: The doctor, like I say, I'm calling, I'm calling every
- 46:20Speaker 1: patent that they say you're gonna you're gonna waigh my
- 46:24Speaker 1: child before he gets on the bus. That's that's what
- 46:27Speaker 1: the new rule. That's what the new rules. And if
- 46:29Speaker 1: he's over one twenty five, then he he'll either have
- 46:32Speaker 1: to work, you have to take him to school. But
- 46:36Speaker 1: I have a job. Okay, I have a job. I
- 46:38Speaker 1: thought gonna take my kids in school, but I don't.
- 46:41Speaker 1: That's what the bus explores. That's what my tax dollars
- 46:43Speaker 1: pay for us. But the reasoning, the rationale behind this. Okay,
- 46:49Speaker 1: let me tell you what's going on. From what they're saying,
- 46:52Speaker 1: the weight of these children is wearing down these transmissions
- 46:56Speaker 1: on this bus, on these bus transmissions, as mentioned, it
- 47:00Speaker 1: cannot take all of that. They are limiting the weight
- 47:04Speaker 1: of each child. So now how much does that discrimination?
- 47:09Speaker 1: I think that's discrimination, but it over Is he over
- 47:14Speaker 1: one hundred and twenty five pounds? He okay? He is? Ok?
- 47:20Speaker 1: Then you you're probably gonna have to take your son
- 47:22Speaker 1: to school. Are you gonna have to walk? He probably
- 47:25Speaker 1: need to walk to school if he already or hundred
- 47:28Speaker 1: twenty five pounds? Who what the ac are you talking about? Man?
- 47:37Speaker 1: I'm all I'm saying. All I'm saying is if your
- 47:40Speaker 1: son is overweight one hundred twenty five, you know, maybe
- 47:44Speaker 1: the exercise are doing good when like I said that
- 47:47Speaker 1: the school that's gonna allow him on the plus. But sir,
- 47:52Speaker 1: I will not accept this. If who do I need
- 47:55Speaker 1: to call? Is there a manager? Is there a city's
- 47:57Speaker 1: council member? I mean, this is seriously the most ub
- 48:02Speaker 1: discriminatory practice I've ever heard of. It doesn't even make sense.
- 48:05Speaker 1: You're talking about a child, I understand, but we're talking
- 48:08Speaker 1: about a child weigh more than a grown person, your son.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I need to get what is your name, sir? Tell
- 48:13Speaker 1: me your name again. My name is Ernest. I'm down
- 48:17Speaker 1: here at the bus ball. I would like to speak
- 48:19Speaker 1: with the supervisor, like, now, what do you You do
- 48:24Speaker 1: not get to speak to my about my child that way?
- 48:26Speaker 1: You get to speak to any kid that way. You
- 48:28Speaker 1: should not be working at a school if that is
- 48:30Speaker 1: your attitude. I'm no, I don't work at the school.
- 48:33Speaker 1: I work at the bus ball. I'm down here at
- 48:35Speaker 1: the bus ball and they gave me your they right
- 48:38Speaker 1: because you're saying he's over behind in twinty fat pack.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I am an absolute shock. This is so okay. So
- 48:48Speaker 1: do you have a fantic chat. I mean, do you
- 48:50Speaker 1: have scuba? I'm sorry, do you have a big child? Listen?
- 48:53Speaker 1: What my child looks like, how much he weighs is
- 48:56Speaker 1: none of your business. I'm going to call the school.
- 49:00Speaker 1: They can't be working with your company. If this is
- 49:02Speaker 1: the way that you treat people and you talk about children,
- 49:06Speaker 1: this fight doesn't matter here. I guess what they're doing
- 49:11Speaker 1: is this is the way of them approaching obesity. You know, whoever,
- 49:17Speaker 1: whoever over one hundred, they might walk it all you're
- 49:20Speaker 1: start Listen, listen, that is the most ridiculous thing I've
- 49:25Speaker 1: ever heard. Okay, I have to work. My son is
- 49:29Speaker 1: getting on that and I'm going to call the schoolboard
- 49:32Speaker 1: and should not be working with you another bust company.
- 49:35Speaker 1: I don't know, but I'm calling the city. I will
- 49:37Speaker 1: call the members they need to call. But you need
- 49:39Speaker 1: to give me a supervisor's name right now, right now?
- 49:43Speaker 1: Do you think you need to start cooking different post
- 49:45Speaker 1: so Divin don't have you know? Maybe maybe it's starts
- 49:49Speaker 1: at home and what you feed me everybody, you know,
- 49:54Speaker 1: I am calling the supervisor, I'm calling the the city,
- 49:57Speaker 1: I'm calling the school. I am going to fired like
- 50:01Speaker 1: I can't even believe that you're allowed to make this
- 50:03Speaker 1: call like our other parents. Okay with this, I'm called
- 50:09Speaker 1: when you own your way to work in the morning. TRAINA.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Do you listen to the Steve Harvey Morning Show? Oh
- 50:17Speaker 1: my gosh, yes I do. Nephew Tally from the Steve

- 50:52Speaker 1: Steve Harvey, byway, that's what people's kids. Wait, it's not
- 51:03Speaker 1: what I thought it was about. But he still played
- 51:05Speaker 1: too much. That's still wrong. What did you say? Oh?
- 51:08Speaker 1: I know what you thought? Yeah, I know what you thought. Yeah,
- 51:14Speaker 1: this baby way too much. She will be twelve on Friday.
- 51:19Speaker 1: You're no longer saying that's that famous line, you know,
- 51:22Speaker 1: I just had a baby. Oh I'm committed to that line.
- 51:26Speaker 1: Yes man, yes man, Yeah, give me that. That's funny.
- 51:36Speaker 1: M Tommy's always less with people kids. Kids, though you
- 51:41Speaker 1: don't care. Yeah, he plays too much. Too much. Oh man,
- 51:45Speaker 1: it's part of pranket. Wouldn't let that little boy on
- 51:47Speaker 1: the bus. Maybe need to walk? What tell nobody, kid
- 51:52Speaker 1: that your baby need to walk to school? Baby way
- 51:59Speaker 1: too much to get on the bus. That is not right.

- 53:01Speaker 1: all right, ladies and gentlemen, it's that time. It's time
- 53:03Speaker 1: for the Strawberry Letter with my good friend Shirley straw Berry.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Thank you, junior. Subject. I want to get my girlfriend tested,
- 53:09Speaker 1: Dear Stephen, Shirley. I'm a single man in my mid
- 53:13Speaker 1: twenties and I met a woman on an online dating site.
- 53:16Speaker 1: She's three years older. She is gorgeous, has a great body,
- 53:21Speaker 1: and she's more mature than girls my age. We started
- 53:24Speaker 1: dating late last year and I've fallen for her really quick.
- 53:28Speaker 1: But now I have a big problem. We decided to
- 53:31Speaker 1: go public with our relationship over the holidays and I
- 53:34Speaker 1: posted a picture of the two of us on Instagram.
- 53:38Speaker 1: As soon as I posted it, I got a DM
- 53:40Speaker 1: from a stranger direct message claiming he hung out with
- 53:44Speaker 1: her recently and she got an STD and she did
- 53:47Speaker 1: not tell him about it. The guy said that luckily
- 53:50Speaker 1: he didn't get it from her, but she hooked up
- 53:53Speaker 1: with one of his friends and he got it. I
- 53:56Speaker 1: didn't believe this guy because he could have been a
- 53:58Speaker 1: hating X that's jealous. Fast forward to New Year's Eve,
- 54:02Speaker 1: I posted a picture of me and my girl hanging out.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Shortly thereafter, one of my older female cousins called me
- 54:08Speaker 1: and told me that my girlfriend was known as a
- 54:10Speaker 1: thought in high school, and she warmed me not to
- 54:14Speaker 1: get too caught up with her. I couldn't ignore the
- 54:17Speaker 1: issue anymore. At this point, I asked my girl about
- 54:21Speaker 1: her past, and she said that everyone has a past,
- 54:24Speaker 1: and she learned from her mistakes and she's ready to
- 54:27Speaker 1: move on. She swore that she is disease free, but
- 54:33Speaker 1: she did not deny that she may have had a
- 54:35Speaker 1: disease at one time. She was truly hurt by me
- 54:39Speaker 1: confronting her, and she said that she'll understand if I
- 54:42Speaker 1: want to break up with her. I feel terrible for
- 54:45Speaker 1: making her defend her past, but I want to ask
- 54:48Speaker 1: her to take some STD tests before I sleep with
- 54:51Speaker 1: her again. I will take the test with her because
- 54:54Speaker 1: I want to be sure I'm okay too. Was I
- 54:56Speaker 1: wrong for addressing the rumors? Will I be wrong to
- 54:59Speaker 1: drag her to a lab for blood tests? How should
- 55:02Speaker 1: I handle this? She might be be one and I
- 55:04Speaker 1: don't want to mess things up. Okay, slow your role,
- 55:08Speaker 1: mister mid twenties. Okay, please, You're not wrong. You would
- 55:13Speaker 1: be wrong if you ignored this very serious situation, and
- 55:16Speaker 1: it is serious and you need to know what's going
- 55:19Speaker 1: on with her. So no, you're not wrong for addressing
- 55:23Speaker 1: the rumor, which as it turned out, was the truth.
- 55:26Speaker 1: After all, you have to decide at this point if
- 55:29Speaker 1: this is really what you want and if she's who
- 55:31Speaker 1: you really want. Remember earlier in the letter, one guy
- 55:34Speaker 1: said that she had an STD, but he didn't get
- 55:38Speaker 1: it from her, but she did get with one of
- 55:41Speaker 1: his friends and he got it. Remember all of that.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Remember your older cousin who says she was a thought
- 55:48Speaker 1: in high school and all of that. That's kind of
- 55:51Speaker 1: like two and three strikes right there. I mean, I
- 55:53Speaker 1: know you're young, but even though you know she didn't
- 55:56Speaker 1: deny having the STD, you had to kind of, you know,
- 56:00Speaker 1: find out about it before she was honest with you.
- 56:03Speaker 1: You know, she could have put you seriously at risk here, Okay,
- 56:08Speaker 1: seriously at risk. I know your feelings are involved, so
- 56:12Speaker 1: as far as her being the one, and yes, everyone
- 56:15Speaker 1: does have a past. I want to make that clear.
- 56:18Speaker 1: We all have paths when we get in these relationships.
- 56:21Speaker 1: But I just tell you not so fast. I mean,
- 56:23Speaker 1: you really need to rethink the situation with this young lady,
- 56:27Speaker 1: and you need to know for a fact more than
- 56:32Speaker 1: her just swearing that she's disease free and she wants
- 56:35Speaker 1: to move on. Okay, you gotta Yeah, you need way
- 56:39Speaker 1: more evidence than that. Okay, without your feelings being involved,
- 56:43Speaker 1: slow this down. You may be breaking up with her
- 56:47Speaker 1: before this is all over. You might break up with her. Yeah, Steve,
- 56:53Speaker 1: Well you know, I'm a little I'm feel a little
- 56:56Speaker 1: different about this, letting you know because it's social media
- 57:00Speaker 1: evolved and all it says. So this ky mid twenties
- 57:04Speaker 1: meets this girl online. She's three years older than him.
- 57:07Speaker 1: He really likes her, but he got a big problem
- 57:10Speaker 1: when they decided to go public of the relationship. Over
- 57:13Speaker 1: the holidays. He posted a picture of him on ig
- 57:17Speaker 1: Then after he posted it, he got a direct message
- 57:19Speaker 1: from a stranger claiming he hung out with her recently
- 57:24Speaker 1: and she's got an STD that she didn't tell him about. Okay,
- 57:30Speaker 1: hold of dog. You hung out with her recently and
- 57:34Speaker 1: she has an STD that she didn't tell you about.
- 57:38Speaker 1: Hung out, slept with her? What you talking about? See
- 57:41Speaker 1: little vain right here? Partner claiming he hung out with
- 57:45Speaker 1: her recently, she got an STD she didn't done. The
- 57:47Speaker 1: guy said that luckily he didn't get it from her,
- 57:51Speaker 1: but she hooked up with one of his friends and
- 57:53Speaker 1: he got it. So that means he slept with her.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Steve na it don't it don't didn't he didn't, Yeah,
- 58:02Speaker 1: but he said he hung out with it. This is
- 58:05Speaker 1: somebody running their mouth. But why would he Why would
- 58:08Speaker 1: he come to you? He don't know you, why would
- 58:10Speaker 1: he DM you? And then like the dude say, it
- 58:14Speaker 1: could be You know, I didn't believe this guy because
- 58:17Speaker 1: he could have been a hating the X that's jealous.
- 58:19Speaker 1: That could happen. See, so you gotta watch then fast
- 58:23Speaker 1: for a New Year's Eve posted to put your men
- 58:25Speaker 1: and your girlfriend hanging out. And then one of my
- 58:28Speaker 1: older female cousins called me and told me that my
- 58:30Speaker 1: girlfriend was known as a thought in high school. Okay,
- 58:33Speaker 1: hold up. Now, the dude in his mid twenties. She
- 58:36Speaker 1: three years older. So let's say he twenty six, she
- 58:40Speaker 1: twenty nine. So now this girl right here, because your
- 58:44Speaker 1: older female cousin that she was known as a thought
- 58:47Speaker 1: in high school, that don't mean that's where she still is.
- 58:52Speaker 1: So you know, I'm kind of looking at this where
- 58:54Speaker 1: you gotta get nine. I'm gonna give him some advice
- 58:56Speaker 1: when I come back on what to do. But really,
- 59:01Speaker 1: right now though, I mean, dog, I'm just dealing with
- 59:04Speaker 1: how people get in the whale. Something that could have
- 59:08Speaker 1: some possibilities of being okay, but all these people want
- 59:11Speaker 1: to hang something over the girl's head. We come back,
- 59:14Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I think low man'll do. All right, Steve,
- 59:18Speaker 1: hang on to that thought. We'll have part two of
- 59:20Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.

- 1:00:30Speaker 1: this is a prime example of social media people ain't
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: ain't nobody ever happy for nobody? No more, ain't nobody?
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: Hey man, glad you found somebody. Just want to let
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you notice everybody called would run the skies falling. This
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: own five posted a picture a total stranger calls this
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: man out of nowhere timer he hung out with it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: He didn't get the disease, but then this boy hung
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: out with her and he got it. Okay. Then you
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: posted no other pitch in your older female cousin call
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and say she was known as a thought in high school. Okay,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: all right, I got all of this. I got No
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Do you have reason to be concerned? Yeah? You should.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: You should because this disease thing is kind of crazy.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: But now at least at least they talking STD at least,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: because they have some other stuff out here now that
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: ain't they These phone calls ain't no, he got it. No,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: it's it's it's some other things that happen now. So
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: let's just say that you got warned. Your cousin told
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: you not to get caught up with her. So you
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: say you couldn't ignore the issue anymore at this point.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: So I asked my girl about her pass, and she
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: said that everybody has a pass. She's learned from her
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: mistakes and she's ready to move on. She sworeter she's
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: disease free, but she did not deny that she may
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: have had a disease at one time. Okay, and then
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: she was hurt by me confronted her and said that
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she'll understand if I want to break up with her. Okay.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I had a dude on my Facebook watch show from
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Quality Control that represents me Goals and Cardi B and
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Coach K and P was on the show. He tweeted
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: something the other day that somebody showed me, and I
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: don't have it in front of me, so I'm paraphrasing it,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: he said in his quote, because he has an interesting
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: pass too. He said I'm not gonna let what I was,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: what I did, what I didn't do, and what I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: should have did affect who I am and who I'm
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: going to be. I'm like, oh, like it. See that
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: right there? That meant something to me because I went, Wow,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: this dude said, I'm not gonna let who I was,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: what I did, what I didn't do, and what I
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: should have did affect who I am and who I'm
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: going to be. And that's why, after this that I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: read this weekend, I'm just kind to take a different
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: approach to this letter. Now, she swore she's disease free,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: but she didn't deny that she might have had the
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: disease at one time. You know, they had diseases back,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: you know that you could, you know, get rid of
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: you know, so obviously it's wasn't the death said it,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: but she was truly hurt by me. Confronted her and
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: asked that she'd understand if I wanted to break up
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: with her. But I want to ask her to take
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: some STD tests before I sleep with her again. Okay,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: that's fair. Now, the best way to do it is
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I'll take the test with her because I want to
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: make sure i'm okay too. See, all this is fair.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: All this is fair, you know, because was I wrong
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: for addressing the rumors? Know you want? And it gave
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: her a chance to say, yes, I've had a pass,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: but I'm moving on now. You know. Maybe the woman
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: enjoyed your company, and y'all enjoy each other's company. You
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: y'all got a real thing here. People make mistakes from
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: their pass. Was I wrong for addressing roomors? No, you
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: aren't wrong for addressing the rumors. Will I be wrong
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to drag her down for a lad for blood tests?
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: Well you can't drag her nowhere. All you could do
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: is I ask her to go, say, listen, this is
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: how I feel about you. You really matter to me,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: and I want to move this thing forward, and just
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: so I can be okay and make sure you okay,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: let's go down and get tested together, because I've had
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: a pass myself, what you have? This ain't your first
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: girl though, And then he said, how should I handle this?
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: That's what you should do? Say, Look, I'm really falling
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: for you and I'm really feeling like you could be
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the one. I just need to be put at easy.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I need to go get tested because I have a pass.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You have a pass. I'm willing to let bygones be bygones.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: But let's go test each other so we can move
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: forward with this because I think we got something real.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: She might be And then he said in the letter,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: because she might be the one, and I don't want
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to mess things up. But see, you gotta remember something too.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: The devil's job has only one mission in life, and
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: that's to rob you of your destiny. You can meet
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a wonderful person. And then the devil got some imps
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: that worked for him all the time. Now here come
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: one that just slid into your DM. You don't even
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: know this dude. You don't even know him. You don't
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: even know if it's any truth to what he's said.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Then he doubles back. And your older female cousin did
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: not say nothing to you about no STD. She just
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: said she might be a thought in high school. So
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: now you combine that with what could be the potential lie,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: and now you don't broke up with this girl, and
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: he could have been the one. And then the devil
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: that robbed you and your destiny take the girl's hand,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: tell her how you feel about him. You want to
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: be sure because you thanks shed one. Y'all go get
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: tested to Keevin in near Let's go have a nice
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: life man. All right, Steve, thank you. Post your comments

- 1:06:18Speaker 1: The college National Football Championship is tonight, and Junior is
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: going to talk about it right after this. You're listening
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: to morning show, okay, Junior. Tonight is the twenty twenty
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: college football National Championship. That's LSU versus Clemson in New
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: Orleans at the Superdome. President Trump is scheduled to attend
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: tonight's game. No officials say that ticket holders in New
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Orleans residents should expect some heavy security, street blockages and big,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: big crowd. Providing security are the Secret Service, the New
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Orleans Police Department, the Louisiana State Department, both in uniform
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and in playing club, the US Coast Guard, and the FBI. YEA, well, yeah,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: it's the college Championship't you got something? I mean, you know,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: he going to Louisiana. Very popular in Louisia, Red state, Mississippi, Alabama,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Georgia Red states. He going to the game. You don't
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: really do football here, golf guy. But the thing of
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it is, Man, I think Clemson is a great football team.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I think they're gonna go in there's the underdogs. They're
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: gonna have a chip on their shoulder. I would like
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to see Louisiana win it for Louisiana down there at
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: LSU and them damn uniforms is purple and gold. So
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: what else do I need another trophy? LSU quarterback Joe
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Burrow is going up against Trevor Lawrence. Man, this is
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: two top quarterbacks. I think this is gonna be a
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: really good game. I really do believe it is. It
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: will be a home game though for LSU. You can
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: leave that it's gonna be bad rooms down the street,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: and I would I don't know, man, I ain't really
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: got no dog in this fight. Once again, Cleveland that again,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: it'd be great for the state Louisiana. It really would be.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: And it's a storyboard season for him too, man. I
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: mean it's just undefeated, took down Alabama as it. I
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: love their coach because you can't understand nothing nothing. He
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: says that boy, that so thick down Louisiana. One thing
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna get. I want to get up there and
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: I play a game, but I try to get everything.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Do that thing like I tell and I just show
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: the LSU football whoop. We gonna do right, tears, be
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the type of man. We're gonna get up the play
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: the game like that Ted, run that ball out of
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: that field bringing whatever that who that that's so and
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: I really do like it be lost over here coming
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, guys. In trending
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: political news, HOW Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she is
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: preparing to send the two articles of impeachment of President
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Donald Trump to the Senate this week. We'll be back
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: to talk about it right after this. Give to him
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: at the game. Yeah, you're listening to this Stay Morning show.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: And a letter sent to her Democratic colleagues. On Friday,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: HOW Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that she is preparing to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: send the two articles of impeachment of President Donald Trump
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to the Senate this week, paving the way for a
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: trial to begin. She says, I have asked Judiciary Committee
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: articles of impeachment to the Senate. That is what Pelosi
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: wrote in a letter to Democrat She said, I will
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: be consulting with you at our Tuesday House Democratic Caucus
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: meeting on how we proceed further. The House managers act
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: as a prosecutors of Donald Trump during the Senate trial.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: A floor vote will be held to name impeachment managers
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: before the articles can be transmitted to the Senate. The
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: articles will accuse President Trump of abusive power and obstruction
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: of Congress. They're being withheld by Pelosi because she said
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: she wanted to ensure a fair triald was being held
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: by the Senate and an impeachment trial. Every senator takes
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: an oath to do impartial justice according to the Constitution
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and laws. Also, well, there you go. Also yeah, on
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: that same note, guys, did you see Trump supporter viral video?
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: This was an Ohio teen Trump supporter was at a
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: loss for words when a reporter asked him what had
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the president done? Well? Check it out, take a listen,
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and what is something that you believe the president has done? Well? Uh?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: I I just I'm not really serious. I just support him. Yeah,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I ain't lying partner. That show how I go. You
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: know the thing about this impeachment and about Trump, um,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: this this stuff is gonna go to the House, and
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: you expect all of the Senators to honor the Constitution,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: and they sworn, oh, to uphold the Constitution. They're not
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: going to do that. They've already decided across the board,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: every last one, oh, that they're not voting for impeachment.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: They're not even gonna interview all of the required witnesses.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: They're not gonna do anything. This this right here for
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: our country is a farce. It's a farce because they
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: will not address anything that this man has done wrong.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: And they all know he's done things wrong. They don't
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: know if Barack Obama had done any of this, it
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: would have been a disaster. Man. So I get sick
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: of them always talking about what they're gonna do. They
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: don't care about the Constitution until it's convenient. That Second Amendment, Oh,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: they'll they'll wear that one out, but but they'll make
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: a oh yeah. But other than that, they don't. Everybody's
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: got it right to the pursuit of happiness. That's not
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: what they're doing. It's a lot they don't do. We
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: have such a hypocritical country and when it comes to
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: politics and these politicians and this guy is gonna get it.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: He will go down in history as one of the
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: worst presidents. We don't have to hand. Yeah, do you know, Steve,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: he's still calling this an impeachment hoax. And he's been
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: impeached by the Congress. He's still called the trial well,
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: and the reason the reason it's a hoax is because
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the Senate will not do their sworn duty. They will
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: not look at it impartially. They will not uh interview
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: all the witnesses. They will not view the charges as
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: as he is committed any criminal affairs. That's not what
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: he's gonna do. Yeah, yeah, yeah, she says. Nancy Pelosi says,
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: I'll read it again. In an impeachment trial, every senator
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: takes an oath to do impartial justice according to the
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Constitution and laws. It's gonna yeah, partiality, all of that partisanship,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: all of those words. Yeah yeah, yeah. Wow. That's a
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: shame though this president, but it is what he's gonna
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: be probably in the game. Yeah. I wonder if he's
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: going to get booed like he did at the other game. Well,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: coming up more of today's trending stories on the Steve
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back at twenty minutes after
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: the hour right after this. You're listening to show, all right. So,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: Megan Marco has reportedly signed a deal with Disney, just
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: days after announcing that she and Prince Harry will step

- 1:14:28Speaker 1: has reported that the Duchess of Sussex will do voice

- 1:15:16Speaker 1: name out of that. I didn't use home. Nothing decision
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: they made, even though bombas are coming out saying, uh,
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: we ain't had nothing to do with that made their
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: own decisions. Yeah, Prince Harry wanted to protect his wife.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: I wouldn't give it da. We wouldn't talk me out
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: of nothing. I'm staying at the palace. That's where I'm from.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: Just who I am? I am? Hey, You're king now,

- 1:20:42Speaker 1: that story. I just I just know that I'm not,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: you know, I don't. That's that's not my world anymore.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: You know, it's a second half of my life different.
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: Let me cut you cut you off because of nuble
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: acp Immage awards. That's us recognizing the good work that
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: you do constantly. That's right, great work you do, mentoring,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you give back. You work hard, honey. Can't nobody call
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: you lazy? You work really hard, feud. This is why
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: they nominate you. They are recognizing you for your work
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: and what you do period with the teeth. So congratulations,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: we love you and we support you on that. That's right,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: and what a blessing it is to be nominated by
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: your peers, you know, and by your people. See yeah,
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: I know people. You know. I accept that aspect of it.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: And in my image, awards means more to me than
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: any awards I received, because that's I started with with
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: with just a black fan base, that's all I had,
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: and I black people have remained a true loyal to
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: me for all for all these years, man, I just
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I can't thank them enough. But in this half, second
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: half of my life, I dedicated my life towards the
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: rewards instead of the awards. I've just seen enough of it.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: And sometimes when you work for the awards, the awards
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: is just what it is. It's a plaque, it's a statue,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: it's a crystal piece, and you put it up for
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: show and it represents something that you accomplish and got
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: voted for. But the rewards are different. The rewards of
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: your hard working labor you can pass on to your children,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: the rewards you can build your legacy with it. You're
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: not gonna build your legacy awards. You're gonna build it
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: with rewards, things as tangible for your grandchildren and children
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: to think. I was watching a movie on the plane
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: and the line in the movie says, if you're over
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: sixty years and you're not thinking about your legacy and
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: what you will mean to people that you love when
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you're gone. They said, as a man, you're lying to yourself.
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: And I said, wow, man, I think about that so
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: often now, approaching another birthday about to be sixty three.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: And then I was saying earlier in the show that
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I had of Coach k and Peon from the group
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: Quality Control that represent me goals and Cardi being a
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: host of other people, and pe kind of put a
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: tweet out the other day that I read and I
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: don't have it together exactly. I'm just paraphrasing his tweet,
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: but it meant a lot to me. He said, I
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: refuse to allow who I was, what I did, what
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: I should have did, and what I didn't do determine
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: or affect who I am and what I'm going to be.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: And I thought that was such a profound statement. And
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: so many people don't allow people to move on. Do
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: you know how many people man trying to hang on
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: to something from the past that they want to lay
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: claim to, that they want to be known for, and
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: it prohibiting stops them from moving forward in life. You
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: can get so hung up on the past that you
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: don't even see what's happening to see. Somebody send it
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: to me. The quote exactly from p was, I refused
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: to allow what I did, what I didn't do, or
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: what I should have done affect what I'm about to do.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Now repeat after me, keep hustling. That's his exact quote
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: on Twitter. I refused to allow what I did, what
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I didn't do, or what I should have done affect
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: what I'm about to do. Now repeat after me, hash toad,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: keep hustling. And that's that's a really profound statement, man.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: And so many many people get hung up on their pass.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: But do you know man, that you can You can't
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: live on one accomplishment from your pass and expect that
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: to carry you into your future. You can't live on
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: an accomplishment for you from your past and keep expecting
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: to get credit and a parade for it. Today. Yo,
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: move on, it's done. You can't keep bringing back the
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: glory years if you expect to have some future years. Look,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: we either moving forward or you staying in the past.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: But you can't do them both. That again again, everybody's while.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: The Lord's prayer is so important man. When you said
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: every day, when you get to that line that says,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread, they were talking
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: about exactly that, the fact that you should ask God
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: to supply you with their everything you need today. The
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: past belongs to huge history, The future belongs to God.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: The present is a gift that He gives us all today.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: That's why they call it the present, because all you
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: have is today. Those are my clothes remarks. Y'all have
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: yourself a great weekend for all. Steve Harvey contests no
