Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Media Normalizing Terrorists in America, Social Media Censoring Conservatives & Biden Campaign Doubles Down on Amnesty Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Center Ted Cruz, the Weekend Review,
- 0:04Speaker 2: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are the top stories
- 0:07Speaker 2: that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:10Speaker 2: First up, the media normalizing terrorist threats coming across our
- 0:15Speaker 2: southern border. Why is it that they're trying to act
- 0:18Speaker 2: like this isn't a national security threat?
- 0:20Speaker 1: We're going to deal with that.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Also, Conservatives are continuing to be silenced on social media.
- 0:27Speaker 2: That's a big part of the plan by Democrats to
- 0:29Speaker 2: stop Republicans in the presidential election.
- 0:33Speaker 1: We'll expose it all.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And finally, Biden's re election campaign is doubling down on
- 0:39Speaker 2: amnesty now for all illegal immigrants. It's the Weekend Review
- 0:44Speaker 2: and it starts right now. There's two things that worry me,
- 0:47Speaker 2: and I want your take on this. Number One, it's
- 0:49Speaker 2: almost like the media is worried the same way you are,
- 0:53Speaker 2: that there's a real chance of a major terrorist attack.
- 0:56Speaker 2: We've seen warnings from Director Ray at the FBI and
- 0:58Speaker 2: others are saying they're or even about attacks that would
- 1:01Speaker 2: mimic what we saw against the people in Israel. But
- 1:04Speaker 2: it's also like they're trying to normalize the idea Yeah,
- 1:07Speaker 2: there's a lot of terrorists in America, and if something
- 1:09Speaker 2: does happen, it's like, yeah, we knew this, we covered it,
- 1:12Speaker 2: we talked about it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Maybe you shouldn't be as outraged.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well, if you want to be out raised, listen to
- 1:20Speaker 3: what Chris Ray, the administrator of the FBI, is saying
- 1:22Speaker 3: about the risk we have of a terror attack right
- 1:25Speaker 3: now in the United States.
- 1:27Speaker 4: From an FBI perspective, we are seeing a wide array
- 1:31Speaker 4: of very dangerous threats that emanate from the border. There
- 1:34Speaker 4: is a particular network that has where some of the
- 1:39Speaker 4: overseas facilitators of the smuggling network have isis ties that
- 1:44Speaker 4: we're very concerned about. And then we've been spending an
- 1:46Speaker 4: enormous amount of effort with our partners investigating.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Race said a keyword there coming across the border. Yeah,
- 1:54Speaker 2: like he's telling you how they're doing it. So if
- 1:56Speaker 2: he knows this, and that means I'm sure he's given
- 1:59Speaker 2: the same brief just gave America to the President of
- 2:01Speaker 2: United States America. Why would you not then close the
- 2:04Speaker 2: border if this is what you know is coming across
- 2:06Speaker 2: the border. And my second question is after nine to eleven,
- 2:10Speaker 2: I remember, like we learned very quickly how they the
- 2:13Speaker 2: terarists are able to use certain loopholes and things to
- 2:15Speaker 2: get into America, and we squeezed down those instantly. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 2: worried that even if they if there is a tarist tech,
- 2:21Speaker 2: they're still going to keep.
- 2:22Speaker 1: The border open.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Look, Joe Biden doesn't care, Kamala Harris doesn't care, Chuck
- 2:27Speaker 3: Schumer doesn't care, Nancy Pelosi doesn't care. I've been fighting
- 2:30Speaker 3: for years to secure the border, and every Democrat is
- 2:35Speaker 3: on record over and over and over again. I forced
- 2:39Speaker 3: a vote on HR two, which would actually end catch
- 2:41Speaker 3: and release, secure the border, stop these terrorifts from coming in.
- 2:45Speaker 3: And every Democrat in the Senate, all of them, there
- 2:47Speaker 3: are no moderates on this issue, all of them party
- 2:50Speaker 3: line vote, open borders, open borders, open borders. Every Democrat
- 2:55Speaker 3: in the Senate voted to throw out the impeachment of
- 2:58Speaker 3: Alejandro Mayorcis. Hear no evidence, they don't want to hear
- 3:02Speaker 3: the evidence. That they're like an ostrich plunging their head
- 3:07Speaker 3: in the sand. Do not tell them about the terrorist
- 3:10Speaker 3: coming into this country because they don't care about who
- 3:12Speaker 3: came in yesterday, and they don't care about who's going
- 3:15Speaker 3: to come in tomorrow.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Let's talk about the numbers, because that's the other part
- 3:19Speaker 2: of this warning. It's not one or two, or ten
- 3:22Speaker 2: or fifteen or twenty that are on the terrist watch
- 3:24Speaker 2: list that we know have come across the southern border.
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's an alarming number in the hundreds.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Look, when Trump was president, the number of people that
- 3:33Speaker 3: were apprehended on the terror watch list coming into the
- 3:35Speaker 3: country was every year in the low single digits. Was
- 3:37Speaker 3: one or two, was a very small number. In fiscal
- 3:41Speaker 3: year twenty twenty three, one hundred and sixty nine people
- 3:44Speaker 3: on the terror watch list were apprehended at our southern border,
- 3:47Speaker 3: one hundred and sixty nine. This fiscal year, we're only
- 3:51Speaker 3: halfway through. We already have nearly one hundred who've been
- 3:54Speaker 3: apprehended at the southern border. Again, are on the Terra
- 3:58Speaker 3: shape the terror watch list. And by the way, that's
- 4:01Speaker 3: the southern border, the northern border. The stats six hundred
- 4:06Speaker 3: and thirty terrorst suspects were encountered at the northern border
- 4:10Speaker 3: in the last two fiscal years.
- 4:11Speaker 2: The New York Post breaking that aspect of the story.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So it's not just as you mentioned, the southern border.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It's the northern border, which is another problem, which is
- 4:20Speaker 2: by all accounts as even more I guess say open
- 4:24Speaker 2: easier to come across many believe much larger.
- 4:27Speaker 3: And if you are a terrorist, if you are heating
- 4:31Speaker 3: Iran's call for global Jahad against America, if you're heating
- 4:35Speaker 3: Hamasa's call for global Jahad against America, if you're heating
- 4:38Speaker 3: Hesbala's call for global Jahad against America, if you're heating
- 4:41Speaker 3: Palestinian Islamic Jahad call for global Jahad against America, if
- 4:46Speaker 3: you're heating Isis's call for global Jahad against America. It's
- 4:50Speaker 3: not complicated. You come across the border in a place
- 4:53Speaker 3: where there's not a lot of border security, where you
- 4:56Speaker 3: can be one of the nearly two million gotaways US.
- 5:00Speaker 3: The people who've encountered the numbers are even more concerning
- 5:04Speaker 3: of the god Aways and the Democrats at the end
- 5:06Speaker 3: of the day, they are willfully complicit in an open
- 5:12Speaker 3: door policy to terrorists who want to harm America.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You've been there when Ray's been testifying, and you know Ray,
- 5:20Speaker 2: the FBI director, did Democrats ask any tough questions of him, like, hey,
- 5:26Speaker 2: we know how many are on the watch lists that
- 5:27Speaker 2: we've gotten right that we're on the watch list. But
- 5:30Speaker 2: they even care about the Godaways, or if I don't
- 5:33Speaker 2: ask and it doesn't exist, and then I don't have
- 5:36Speaker 2: to be held politically accountable for it.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Democrats will not ask a single question about illegal immigration.
- 5:42Speaker 3: They will not ask a single question about god Aways.
- 5:45Speaker 3: They will not ask a single question about the children
- 5:48Speaker 3: being brutalized by human traffickers. They will not ask a
- 5:50Speaker 3: single question about the women being sexually assaulted by human traffickers.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Their approach is just hide from the issue. They don't
- 5:58Speaker 3: have a defense. Ask totally. You know what they'll ask
- 6:01Speaker 3: about white supremacists. That they'll get all worked up about
- 6:06Speaker 3: white supremacists. Mind you, they're not concerned at all about
- 6:12Speaker 3: the anti Semites on college campuses. Well, maybe it's because
- 6:16Speaker 3: the people funding the anti semites are also funding those
- 6:19Speaker 3: same Democrats campaigns.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Let's talk about the political fallout of this. If Heaven forbid,
- 6:25Speaker 2: there's an attack is part of the Democrats defense. They
- 6:28Speaker 2: think that the American people are too stupid to connect
- 6:30Speaker 2: these dots. I mean, you see the report from NBC News.
- 6:33Speaker 2: You see Chris Farray out there warning you you have
- 6:35Speaker 2: a present that knows about it. Do they just assume
- 6:38Speaker 2: that they that the media is going to carry water
- 6:40Speaker 2: for them that there is attack, there will be no
- 6:41Speaker 2: accountability for the people that allowed for the open border
- 6:44Speaker 2: policy which allowed them to come into this country. I
- 6:47Speaker 2: would be terrified if I was a Democrat running for
- 6:49Speaker 2: reelection knowing this is a real possibility. In the FBI
- 6:52Speaker 2: director's warning you, you would think you'd want to say
- 6:55Speaker 2: something on the record that says, hey, we got to
- 6:57Speaker 2: get this under control.
- 6:58Speaker 3: Bett Ben, I honestly don't know, because they don't defend themselves.
- 7:01Speaker 3: They don't present an argument, they don't present any alternative. Listen,
- 7:05Speaker 3: they count on the corporate media to cover for them,
- 7:08Speaker 3: to hide what they're doing, and I think many of
- 7:11Speaker 3: them are naive. For them, it is all politics, so
- 7:15Speaker 3: it's not about savior security. Eleven million illegal immigrants and
- 7:20Speaker 3: they say these are future Democrat voters, and what we
- 7:23Speaker 3: care about is staying in power, and if people have
- 7:25Speaker 3: to die, so be it. Because they know people are
- 7:29Speaker 3: dying every single day. People are dying because of this
- 7:33Speaker 3: open border and the Democrats will do nothing to change it.
- 7:37Speaker 3: It's who they are. I don't know how many listeners
- 7:39Speaker 3: of verdict are PhD students and economics. But there's a
- 7:46Speaker 3: theory called modern monetary theory, and it's a bunch of
- 7:50Speaker 3: gobblygook that is designed to basically justify big spending liberals
- 7:56Speaker 3: just printing money like there's no tomorrow, and it's all
- 8:00Speaker 3: sorts of fancy verbiage to explain it doesn't matter how
- 8:03Speaker 3: much money you can print, you can just spend into oblivion.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Everything will be fine. We can afford free everything for everybody. Well,
- 8:14Speaker 3: I want you to listen, and I'm going to present
- 8:16Speaker 3: this without further commentary. I want you to listen to
- 8:20Speaker 3: Jared Bernstein, who is the chairman of the Council of
- 8:24Speaker 3: Economic Advisors in the Biden White House, so he is
- 8:27Speaker 3: the top economist for Joe Biden, explaining what modern monetary
- 8:36Speaker 3: theory is. And I want you just to understand this
- 8:43Speaker 3: is the genius behind Bidenomics.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 8:48Speaker 5: The US government can't go bankrupt because we can print
- 8:51Speaker 5: our own money.
- 8:53Speaker 6: It obviously banks. The question why exactly are we borrowing
- 8:56Speaker 6: in occurrency that we print ourselves. I'm waiting for someone
- 8:59Speaker 6: to stand up and say, why do we borrow our
- 9:03Speaker 6: own currency in the first place.
- 9:06Speaker 7: Like you said they print the dollar, so why why
- 9:08Speaker 7: does the government even borrow?
- 9:11Speaker 5: Well, the uh so, the I mean again, some of
- 9:18Speaker 5: this stuff gets some of the language that some of
- 9:22Speaker 5: the language and concepts are just confusing. I mean, the
- 9:25Speaker 5: government definitely prints money, and it definitely lends that money.
- 9:29Speaker 5: Which is why the government definitely prints money, and then
- 9:32Speaker 5: it lends that money by selling bonds. Is that what
- 9:36Speaker 5: they do?
- 9:38Speaker 2: They they.
- 9:40Speaker 5: They yeah, they they they sell bonds. Yeah, they sell bonds, right,
- 9:45Speaker 5: since they sell bonds and people buy the bonds and
- 9:47Speaker 5: lend them the money. Yeah. So a lot of times,
- 9:52Speaker 5: a lot of times, at least to my year with MMT,
- 9:54Speaker 5: the language and the concepts can be kind of unnecessarily confusing,
- 9:58Speaker 5: but there is no question that the government prince money
- 10:01Speaker 5: and then it uses that money to uh uh so, Yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 5: I guess I'm just I don't I can't really talk.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I don't.
- 10:12Speaker 5: I don't get it. I don't know what they're talking about, like,
- 10:14Speaker 5: because it's like, the government clearly prints money, it does
- 10:20Speaker 5: it all the time, and it clearly borrows otherwise we
- 10:23Speaker 5: wouldn't be having this debt and depfist conversation. So I
- 10:26Speaker 5: don't think there's anything confusing.
- 10:27Speaker 2: There wherever you went to college, I really think they
- 10:31Speaker 2: should take back their diploma. And this is the guy
- 10:34Speaker 2: who's the top economic guy at the White House.
- 10:37Speaker 3: Well, let me just say every economic policy of Joe
- 10:40Speaker 3: Biden has flowed directly from the genius and wisdom you
- 10:45Speaker 3: just heard displayed.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 10:49Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 10:52Speaker 2: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two center.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Big tech is obviously at a massive influence over public
- 11:01Speaker 2: opinion in this country. We saw a recent report that
- 11:05Speaker 2: came out just on TikTok, for example, where they were
- 11:08Speaker 2: forty five to one stories that were pro Palastinian pro
- 11:12Speaker 2: Hamas over Israel. That's one example of how they've really
- 11:16Speaker 2: been able to shape public opinion, especially with young people
- 11:19Speaker 2: and the riots and the chaos we're witnessing on college
- 11:22Speaker 2: campuses right now. But there's also something else that's happened
- 11:25Speaker 2: with big tech. I've been a victim of it. I
- 11:27Speaker 2: spoke out again against big tech a few years ago
- 11:31Speaker 2: at a SEAPAC convention, and before I landed home, after
- 11:35Speaker 2: I spoke out about big tech, specifically Facebook, my accounts
- 11:39Speaker 2: were shut down. They have never worked the same way
- 11:43Speaker 2: as they did before.
- 11:45Speaker 1: The reach has disappeared.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I've witnessed it, and many other conservative leaders out there
- 11:51Speaker 2: are going through the same things. And it always seems
- 11:53Speaker 2: to happen center right during a big election cycle, where
- 11:58Speaker 2: the Democrats get a free flow of information out and
- 12:02Speaker 2: conservatives get hammered and silenced.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right. So I started last year as
- 12:08Speaker 3: the ranking member on the Senate Committee of Commerce, Science,
- 12:10Speaker 3: and Transportation, and from that position is the ranking member,
- 12:14Speaker 3: which means the senior Republican on that committee. I launched
- 12:16Speaker 3: an investigation into the abuse of power from big tech,
- 12:20Speaker 3: and this past week we put out a major report.
- 12:22Speaker 3: The report is entitled Weaponizing Terms of Service. How online
- 12:26Speaker 3: service providers use broad policies to silence conservatives. Now, there
- 12:30Speaker 3: are a lot of instances that we know about that
- 12:33Speaker 3: get a lot of publicity. We know, for example, that Twitter,
- 12:36Speaker 3: before Elon Musk purchased them, suspended the account of the
- 12:41Speaker 3: Babylon be for making a joke about a Biden administration official.
- 12:45Speaker 3: We know that both Facebook and Twitter suppressed stories about
- 12:49Speaker 3: Hudter Biden's laptop before the twenty twenty election. We know
- 12:53Speaker 3: that Facebook removed posts suggesting that COVID nineteen originated in
- 12:58Speaker 3: a Wuhan lab, something we talked about at length on
- 13:02Speaker 3: this podcast, and a theory that has now been confirmed
- 13:05Speaker 3: both by the Federal Department of Energy and the Federal
- 13:07Speaker 3: Bureau of Investigation. We know that YouTube took down a
- 13:13Speaker 3: March twenty twenty one video of a panel discussion with
- 13:15Speaker 3: Florida Governor Ron de Santis, during which he disputed claims
- 13:20Speaker 3: that children needed to wear face masks. We know that YouTube, also,
- 13:24Speaker 3: which is owned by Google, blocked access to a November
- 13:28Speaker 3: twenty twenty three episode of this podcast Verdict, because we
- 13:32Speaker 3: were criticizing the corporate media's favorable coverage of AMAS, and
- 13:37Speaker 3: YouTube deemed okay, you must be an adult to see
- 13:41Speaker 3: what is on the network news. We also know in
- 13:44Speaker 3: twenty twenty two, DirecTV dropped one America news network, and
- 13:48Speaker 3: less than a year after Democrat leaders in Congress sent
- 13:51Speaker 3: a letter to the CEO calling on them to stop
- 13:54Speaker 3: carrying the network. We also know they did the same
- 13:56Speaker 3: thing to Newsmax. Now I lit Direct TV up and
- 13:59Speaker 3: they ended up bringing Newsmax back. We also know that
- 14:03Speaker 3: into it at the direction of its banking partners refuse
- 14:07Speaker 3: to provide payment processing and payroll services to gun manufacturers
- 14:13Speaker 3: and sellers. And we know that JP Morgan Chase closed
- 14:17Speaker 3: the account of the National Committee of Religious Freedom, which
- 14:21Speaker 3: was created by former State Department Ambassador at Large for
- 14:25Speaker 3: International Religious Freedom and former US Senator Sam Brownback. We
- 14:29Speaker 3: know that gofund me block the release of ten million
- 14:33Speaker 3: dollars of donations to the Canadian Trucker's Freedom Convoy. We've
- 14:37Speaker 3: seen that happen over and over and over again. Well,
- 14:42Speaker 3: what this report does is it lays out an entirely
- 14:45Speaker 3: new area of discrimination and it is using web based
- 14:50Speaker 3: products and services online service providers to ban conservative organizations
- 14:55Speaker 3: from using their technology, and it's going after the infrastructure
- 15:01Speaker 3: that is needed to communicate. And in fact, this investigation
- 15:05Speaker 3: reveals that online service providers are following a playbook for
- 15:10Speaker 3: silencing conservatives. That leftist organizations, including the Southern Poverty Law Center,
- 15:16Speaker 3: which is wildly left wing and hates conservatives, and the
- 15:19Speaker 3: Anti Defamation League the ADL, they together put together this strategy,
- 15:24Speaker 3: this playbook to quote remove infrastructure services that conservative organizations
- 15:29Speaker 3: need to operate. And so I'm going to describe that
- 15:32Speaker 3: playbook and what they're doing in particular.
- 15:35Speaker 2: When you look at their playbook and this amount of influence,
- 15:39Speaker 2: I mean, this can change and alter certainly an election cycle.
- 15:43Speaker 2: It can certainly, I would argue, change a presidential election
- 15:48Speaker 2: as well. And that's the reason why they're doing this.
- 15:53Speaker 2: When you think about you know, you've got millions of
- 15:55Speaker 2: people that follow you Facebook.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I've got over a million.
- 16:00Speaker 2: But if you turn off and throttle either one of us,
- 16:04Speaker 2: then the reach that we have compared to the left,
- 16:07Speaker 2: it just disappears. It's the old saying, right if a
- 16:10Speaker 2: big tree falls in the forest and no one's around
- 16:12Speaker 2: and it make a sound, And that's exactly what they did.
- 16:15Speaker 2: But it wasn't just to one or two people. They
- 16:18Speaker 2: were doing this to hundreds of top conservative voices that
- 16:23Speaker 2: people look to for their opinions, specifically when it comes
- 16:28Speaker 2: to election your issues.
- 16:31Speaker 3: So that's exactly right. And what this report focuses on
- 16:33Speaker 3: is it uses a couple of key examples. It uses
- 16:36Speaker 3: number one slacks removal of libs of TikTok's workspace. It
- 16:41Speaker 3: focuses on event rights removal of event pages for events
- 16:45Speaker 3: related to Matt Walsh's What Is a Woman documentary? As
- 16:48Speaker 3: well as an event where Riley Gaines was scheduled to speak,
- 16:52Speaker 3: and it focuses on Bontera's termination of its relationship with
- 16:55Speaker 3: Independent Women's Forum, which deprived that organization of may nonprofit
- 17:00Speaker 3: technology service provider services and all of this follows. There
- 17:05Speaker 3: was a report that was put out by the Anti
- 17:08Speaker 3: Defamation League and it is called Bad Gateway How deplatforming
- 17:13Speaker 3: effects extremist websites And here's what the ADL recommended. It says,
- 17:19Speaker 3: quote deplatforming websites removing infrastructure services they need to operate,
- 17:24Speaker 3: such as website hosting, can reduce the spread and reach
- 17:28Speaker 3: of extremism and hate online. But when does deplatforming succeed?
- 17:32Speaker 3: And here's what ADL explained quote. This report shows that
- 17:36Speaker 3: deplatforming can decrease the popularity of extremist websites, especially when
- 17:40Speaker 3: done without warning and they go through We learned four
- 17:46Speaker 3: important lessons about how deplatforming affects extremist websites, by which
- 17:50Speaker 3: they mean anything right of center. Number one, it can
- 17:54Speaker 3: cause popularity rankings to decrease immediately. Number two, it may
- 18:00Speaker 3: take users a long time to return to the website.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Sometimes the website never regains its previous popularity bingo number
- 18:10Speaker 3: three unexpected and unexpected as key. Unexpected deplatforming makes it
- 18:15Speaker 3: take longer for the website to regain its previous popularity levels,
- 18:21Speaker 3: and number four Replicating deplatform services such as discussions, discussion
- 18:26Speaker 3: forums or live streaming video products on a standalone website
- 18:31Speaker 3: presents significant challenges, including higher costs and smaller audiences. Now
- 18:38Speaker 3: I want to go into a little bit more. This
- 18:40Speaker 3: is what the ADL report. It has an entire section
- 18:43Speaker 3: that says what is deplatforming? And by the way, the
- 18:46Speaker 3: corporate media insists when we talk about deplatforming that we're
- 18:49Speaker 3: making it up. Well, if you actually read the blueprint,
- 18:53Speaker 3: they are very explicit. The left is explicit they want
- 18:56Speaker 3: to silence use. So let me read from this ADL
- 18:59Speaker 3: report quote. There are three main categories of infrastructure that
- 19:04Speaker 3: keep websites running. Domain registrars, web hosting companies, and security
- 19:11Speaker 3: protection companies. Number one, the website must be able to
- 19:15Speaker 3: register and keep a domain name. A domain name such
- 19:18Speaker 3: as Google dot com or ADL dot org is how
- 19:21Speaker 3: visitors find a site. If a website is removed from
- 19:25Speaker 3: domain name services, it becomes much more difficult, if not impossible,
- 19:30Speaker 3: to find Number two, Web hosting companies and content distribution
- 19:35Speaker 3: networks provide digital storage space for all the files, pictures, videos,
- 19:41Speaker 3: and software that make up the content of a website.
- 19:44Speaker 3: When a website loses its hosting provider, the site's content disappears.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Losing a CDN a content distribution network can cause slow
- 19:54Speaker 3: service for high traffic sites. And number three, a third
- 19:58Speaker 3: category of infrastructure provider includes companies that protect websites from
- 20:04Speaker 3: external security risks such as distributed denial of service d
- 20:08Speaker 3: DOS attacks. DDS attacks flood a website with fake traffic
- 20:13Speaker 3: to overwhelm it, rendering it unable to answer normal user requests.
- 20:18Speaker 3: If an infrastructure company, such as a network security firm
- 20:22Speaker 3: cloud fare, refuses to provide DS protection to a vulnerable website,
- 20:28Speaker 3: it is vulnerable to being flooded with traffic, rendering it inaccessible.
- 20:34Speaker 2: As before, If you want to hear the rest of
- 20:36Speaker 2: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 20:39Speaker 2: down the podcasts from earlier this week to hear the
- 20:41Speaker 2: entire thing. I want to get back to the big
- 20:45Speaker 2: story number three of the week. You may have missed.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Tenner.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I want to talk about what's also happening at the border.
- 20:51Speaker 2: The President of the United States of America has come
- 20:55Speaker 2: out and it's pretty clear we now know what is
- 20:57Speaker 2: reelection campaign again. I guess for the onslaught of illegal
- 21:03Speaker 2: immigrants coming into this country is going to be it is.
- 21:06Speaker 2: We need to start handing out amnesty somehow. That's going
- 21:09Speaker 2: to fix the problems in this country. And it's something
- 21:13Speaker 2: that we can all be proud of if we give amnesty.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Here is the President of the United States of America
- 21:19Speaker 2: in his own words.
- 21:21Speaker 8: I love him when people say why dreamers. Can you
- 21:23Speaker 8: imagine a kid two years old, Sam, Mom, don't take
- 21:26Speaker 8: it because real ground is against the law. Give me
- 21:28Speaker 8: a break. These have been model citizens. Congress has to act,
- 21:33Speaker 8: and the right thing to do is to keep pushing
- 21:35Speaker 8: forward until we get it done. Get it done.
- 21:38Speaker 2: So there's this famous line, get it done. So he
- 21:40Speaker 2: is doubling down. Now not only do we have it
- 21:42Speaker 2: wide open borders, we have countless millions of illegal immigrants
- 21:46Speaker 2: coming in. But he refuses to admit the carnage is
- 21:49Speaker 2: taking place in the southern border. And now it's pushing
- 21:52Speaker 2: for amnesty Part one, which would be all of these
- 21:55Speaker 2: as he describes them, dreamers, and then the next part
- 21:59Speaker 2: would be well more our illegal immigrants, and then part
- 22:01Speaker 2: three would be even more illegal immigrants. This is what
- 22:04Speaker 2: he's doing for this election.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Well, listen, Biden's making clear that Joe Biden and the
- 22:09Speaker 3: Democrats they stand with illegal immigrants. And given the choice
- 22:12Speaker 3: between illegal immigrants and American citizens, they're with the illegals.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Given the choice between criminals and law abiding citizens, there
- 22:19Speaker 3: with criminals. And that is a consistent theme. It's why
- 22:23Speaker 3: eleven million people across into this country illegally, because they
- 22:27Speaker 3: look at those eleven million illegal immigrants and they say, hey,
- 22:29Speaker 3: those are future Democrat voters. We stay in power if
- 22:32Speaker 3: we let them in, and they turn a blind eye
- 22:35Speaker 3: to the people who are suffering and dying. You know
- 22:38Speaker 3: who Joe Biden didn't talk about this week?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Who was that?
- 22:44Speaker 3: He didn't talk about Marvin Perez Lopez. Now, who is
- 22:47Speaker 3: Marvin Perez Lopez. Well, he was arrested the last couple
- 22:50Speaker 3: of days. He is an immigrant from Guatemala. He was
- 22:53Speaker 3: arrested over the weekend for kidnapping a minor under the
- 22:57Speaker 3: age of thirteen and sexual assault. That's according the Palm
- 23:01Speaker 3: Beach County Sheriff's Office. Marvin Perez Lopez was in the
- 23:06Speaker 3: country illegally was arrested on May fourth. Perez Lopez reportedly
- 23:10Speaker 3: left Guatemala in early January, crossed through Mexico, and what
- 23:13Speaker 3: did he do. He turned himself into the border patrol.
- 23:17Speaker 3: But of course, Joe Biden, being a Democrat, he turned around,
- 23:22Speaker 3: he let him go. Do you know when Perez Lopez
- 23:24Speaker 3: was given a court date.
- 23:26Speaker 2: I'm afraid that you're gonna say years from the moment
- 23:30Speaker 2: they let him go.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Twenty twenty seven. There you go, twenty twenty seven, he
- 23:34Speaker 3: was released, he went to Florida, and then he turned
- 23:38Speaker 3: around and he's now been charged with kidnapping a minor
- 23:41Speaker 3: under the age of thirteen and sexual assault. Now we're
- 23:44Speaker 3: not going to say the miner's name, but we are
- 23:46Speaker 3: going to point out, week after week after week, every
- 23:50Speaker 3: single week, there's another violent crime committed by an illegal
- 23:54Speaker 3: immigrant Joe Biden releases and what is he is he
- 23:56Speaker 3: talking about?
- 23:57Speaker 8: That?
- 23:58Speaker 3: Does he care about this child who was kidnapped and
- 24:00Speaker 3: sexually assaulted? The answer has to be known. Now. Look,
- 24:05Speaker 3: when I say that, Ben, some people might say, gosh,
- 24:08Speaker 3: that's harsh. What do you mean he doesn't care about
- 24:10Speaker 3: a child kidnapped and assaulted. If he cared, he would
- 24:16Speaker 3: stop releasing illegal immigrants. You can't keep doing it when
- 24:22Speaker 3: you see, Hey, when I do this, children get kidnapped
- 24:25Speaker 3: and raped. Maybe I should stop doing this. That's actually
- 24:29Speaker 3: what someone who cared about the crime and wanted to
- 24:32Speaker 3: prevent the next child from being kidnapped and raped would do.
- 24:37Speaker 3: Joe Biden, And by the way, every single Democrat in Congress,
- 24:41Speaker 3: without exception, every single Senator, every single House member, they
- 24:46Speaker 3: don't care either. Why do I know they don't care,
- 24:49Speaker 3: because if they cared, they'd be willing to stand up
- 24:52Speaker 3: to Biden and say enough is enough, stop releasing violent,
- 24:56Speaker 3: criminal illegal aliens. And in the Senate, every single time
- 25:00Speaker 3: I force a vote, and I've done it over and
- 25:02Speaker 3: over and over again, every Democrat, all of them vote
- 25:07Speaker 3: in favor of releasing illegal immigrants, even if they're committing
- 25:10Speaker 3: crimes against children in America.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, there's you know the old saying, you know,
- 25:16Speaker 2: see no evil here, no evil, right, and then you
- 25:18Speaker 2: can insulate yourself. The Democrats, though, have heard enough to
- 25:23Speaker 2: know just how bad it is the border, and now
- 25:26Speaker 2: every state's a border state, and seeing how bad it
- 25:29Speaker 2: is with what's happening whether it's in New York City,
- 25:31Speaker 2: whether it's in Denver, Colorado. I mean it's widespread, the
- 25:35Speaker 2: chaos and the anarchy, and the destruction and the abuse
- 25:40Speaker 2: of children, the sexual abuse, that the human trafficking, the drugs,
- 25:45Speaker 2: the fetanol.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Is there any of your.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Colleagues that truly still don't know or is this just
- 25:51Speaker 2: a if we don't talk about then we don't have
- 25:54Speaker 2: to admit what we already know.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Look, it's hypocrisy. I'll tell you tonight. I was in
- 25:59Speaker 3: a classified briefing in the Senate. I was a classified
- 26:01Speaker 3: briefing talking about all sorts of things, including the threats
- 26:04Speaker 3: of terrorism in the United States, And there was a
- 26:08Speaker 3: Democrat senator who at some point was sharing that, based
- 26:12Speaker 3: on the briefings he'd received, there's an enormous risk of terrorism.
- 26:16Speaker 3: He's deeply worried, and we do much more to prevent it.
- 26:19Speaker 3: And I remember sitting there and thinking, Gosh, what you're
- 26:21Speaker 3: saying sounds very reasonable. Why do you keep voting in
- 26:27Speaker 3: favor of releasing eleven million legal immigrants, Like at some
- 26:31Speaker 3: point you can't claim I'm worried about the threat of
- 26:35Speaker 3: a terrorist attack when you have nearly two million gtaways
- 26:39Speaker 3: when you have Iran calling for global Jahad against America,
- 26:42Speaker 3: when they have hesbel On Hamas calling for global Jahad,
- 26:45Speaker 3: and the Biden administration letting them go. And he was
- 26:48Speaker 3: what was interesting is sitting in this classified briefing, this
- 26:50Speaker 3: Democrat senator sounded emphatic, he sounded believable. I'm like, wow,
- 26:55Speaker 3: he's really worried about a terrorist attack. But you know what,
- 27:00Speaker 3: just a couple of weeks ago, we had a vote
- 27:01Speaker 3: on the impeachment of Alejandro Majorcus, who has let eleven
- 27:05Speaker 3: million illeg immigrants grit go, and this Democrat, along with
- 27:09Speaker 3: every single other Democrat, voted to throw the case out
- 27:12Speaker 3: to hear no evidence. They didn't care about the risk
- 27:15Speaker 3: of terrorism. That's the simple reality.
- 27:18Speaker 2: One other thing, and you talk about hypocrisy, which does
- 27:21Speaker 2: make me laugh. The Democratic Convention is going to be
- 27:24Speaker 2: held in Chicago, and we're now hearing that ahead of
- 27:30Speaker 2: the Democratic Convention, they are going to clear out the
- 27:33Speaker 2: area of illegal immigrants. Take a listen to this from
- 27:38Speaker 2: local NBC News in Chicago.
- 27:41Speaker 7: Strong reactions tonight from residents after learning Mayor Brandon Johnson
- 27:45Speaker 7: is considering plans to open a new temporary migrant shelter
- 27:48Speaker 7: in their South Side neighborhood, and you.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Don't know where to put him. Why would you put
- 27:52Speaker 1: him in our neighborhood? Well, why don't we go by
- 27:54Speaker 1: your house?
- 27:55Speaker 2: All of that money that he's given them, we've been
- 27:58Speaker 2: begging for yous.
- 27:59Speaker 1: We've lived to our whole life.
- 28:00Speaker 3: We have a lot of bad things that happen here already.
- 28:03Speaker 3: We do not need this, We just do not.
- 28:06Speaker 7: Located just blocks away from Guaranteed right Field, the proposed
- 28:09Speaker 7: building near Canal and Pershing is in the city's eleventh.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Ward look of words, Yet it's hid in the back.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Why is that a good location? We have no amenities
- 28:19Speaker 1: here as it is.
- 28:20Speaker 7: Alder Woman Nicole issued this letter to constituents yesterday, saying
- 28:23Speaker 7: she was notified earlier this week and met with the
- 28:26Speaker 7: mayor on Thursday. She says the city wants to move
- 28:29Speaker 7: migrants staying at the Standard Club near the Dirts and
- 28:31Speaker 7: Federal Building to her ward before the Democratic National Convention.
- 28:36Speaker 1: This is just insane.
- 28:37Speaker 3: It doesn't make sense.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Keep them downtown, keep them.
- 28:40Speaker 3: I don't know, I mean, this is not our problem.
- 28:42Speaker 7: The alder Woman made it clear she is against the
- 28:44Speaker 7: proposed plan, citing safety and location concerns and lack of
- 28:48Speaker 7: justification for the move. She says, quote, as our city
- 28:51Speaker 7: grapples with this unprecedented influx of migrants, it is crucial
- 28:55Speaker 7: that we handle the migrant crisis safely, responsibly, and with
- 28:59Speaker 7: full trans parentcy. The well being of our communities must
- 29:02Speaker 7: be the top priority.
- 29:03Speaker 8: For all we want to do is all's our veterans,
- 29:06Speaker 8: and they're getting kicked at a side for the people
- 29:08Speaker 8: who didn't do.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Anything for this country. Yet those mount and women honorably served,
- 29:13Speaker 1: they should be coming first.
- 29:15Speaker 2: I love the last guy there talking about our veterans,
- 29:18Speaker 2: but you go back to why they're doing this center
- 29:21Speaker 2: read behind the lines here. This is because the residents
- 29:26Speaker 2: are downtown in the area where the DNC is going
- 29:30Speaker 2: to be.
- 29:30Speaker 1: They're saying, hey, we got to clean this up.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's got to be nice and friendly and look good
- 29:33Speaker 2: for the Democrat National Convention. We got to move them
- 29:37Speaker 2: out of this area, all right, throw them out there
- 29:39Speaker 2: in this other part of the city.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's exactly right.
- 29:42Speaker 3: And I thought the most revealing comment and that montage
- 29:45Speaker 3: you played was the Alderman saying, this is not our problem. Now,
- 29:50Speaker 3: she's a Democrat. All of those elected officials are Democrats.
- 29:53Speaker 3: They keep voting for Democrats. They vote for a wild
- 29:55Speaker 3: left wing Democrat mayor, they vote for a wild left
- 29:58Speaker 3: wing Democrat governor, they vote for a wild left wing
- 30:00Speaker 3: Democrats senator, they vote for a wild left wing Democrat president.
- 30:03Speaker 3: Every one of those supports an invasion of this country
- 30:07Speaker 3: of illegal immigrants, and they say, well, this is not
- 30:09Speaker 3: our problem. Send them to Texas, send them to Florida,
- 30:12Speaker 3: send them to anywhere other than our state. But we
- 30:14Speaker 3: want them to keep coming in because you know what,
- 30:16Speaker 3: we want them to show up in Texas and Florida
- 30:17Speaker 3: and we want them to vote Democrats so we can
- 30:19Speaker 3: be in power. But we don't actually want to deal
- 30:21Speaker 3: with this invasion. The hypocrisy is massive, and if you
- 30:25Speaker 3: want to change this, we need to have some real accountability.
- 30:29Speaker 3: If they want open borders, we ought to send every
- 30:32Speaker 3: single one of them to these blue jurisdictions until they
- 30:35Speaker 3: realize eleven million people this is not right. They're doing
- 30:39Speaker 3: it to Texas, they're doing it to Florida, and by
- 30:41Speaker 3: the way, they're doing it to every other state in
- 30:43Speaker 3: the Union. But they're trying to be utter hypocrites and say,
- 30:46Speaker 3: don't do it to our own community.
- 30:48Speaker 2: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with center,
- 30:51Speaker 2: Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you don't forget to deal
- 30:54Speaker 2: with my podcast and you can listen to my podcast
