- 1:40Speaker 1: I got to turn the mouse.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Turn You probably got to turn mouth to turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 5: to turn.
- 1:46Speaker 3: A wd of the money up wouldn't.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come out your think? Uh, I sure will. Good morning, everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 2: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 2: one and all is Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:13Speaker 2: particling me this morning. Steve Harvey got a radio show
- 2:17Speaker 2: filled with nothing but joy and hope about it too.
- 2:21Speaker 2: You know, it's a great thing to be able to
- 2:23Speaker 2: wake up in the morning with peace in your heart
- 2:25Speaker 2: and joy. Peace and joy is immeasurable. It has a
- 2:31Speaker 2: value attached to it, and I have no idea what
- 2:34Speaker 2: it is. It's invaluable. It is worth so much more
- 2:37Speaker 2: than any amount of money you can make.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Peace and joy. I have not always had that.
- 2:45Speaker 2: I've not always been a peaceful person or a person
- 2:50Speaker 2: who lived his life and enjoy spirit. It took an
- 2:54Speaker 2: arrival at this moment. Some people arrived sooner than others.
- 2:59Speaker 2: I wish I had arrived at this point sooner, but
- 3:04Speaker 2: I think it was necessary for me to learn a
- 3:06Speaker 2: few things too. That's the amazing thing I've learned about
- 3:10Speaker 2: life is that instead of reflecting on your past incidences
- 3:17Speaker 2: and calling them failures, instead of focusing on the negative
- 3:21Speaker 2: and calling them bad times, I look at them now
- 3:27Speaker 2: as experiences. I had to have those experiences that were negative,
- 3:32Speaker 2: that were good, positive, wrong, evil. I had to have
- 3:36Speaker 2: all those experiences to become to shape who we are today.
- 3:44Speaker 2: We all have to have them. If you look back
- 3:46Speaker 2: at all the negative experiences you've had, all the things
- 3:50Speaker 2: that you called failures, all the businesses I started that
- 3:55Speaker 2: went under, all of the jobs I had that I
- 3:57Speaker 2: was fired from, all the shows that were canceled, all
- 4:01Speaker 2: of the times I thought I was going to get
- 4:04Speaker 2: something happened in my way and turned out I didn't
- 4:06Speaker 2: get it at all. When you look at all of it,
- 4:10Speaker 2: all of it, hopefully along the way, what you have
- 4:13Speaker 2: done as a person is you've taken those negatives and
- 4:17Speaker 2: those failures and you've used them for what they actually are.
- 4:21Speaker 2: They are experiences, and they've now created in you an
- 4:26Speaker 2: experienced person and you know that is worth something. That's
- 4:33Speaker 2: then it becomes a positive. But what too many people
- 4:37Speaker 2: do is they let the negative things that have happened
- 4:40Speaker 2: in their life. They allow the failures that have happened
- 4:43Speaker 2: in them lives never to manifest themselves as experiences. And
- 4:47Speaker 2: you sit up there and you dwell on it, and
- 4:50Speaker 2: you dwell on it until you have this woe is
- 4:52Speaker 2: me attitude. Stop looking at it like that, y'all. You
- 4:57Speaker 2: go through things in order to become the person that
- 5:00Speaker 2: you are today. I'll tell you who you sometimes have
- 5:03Speaker 2: to sit down and talk to. Sometimes you ought to
- 5:05Speaker 2: sit down to an inmate that really gets it. An
- 5:09Speaker 2: inmate that says, man, I've actually heard inmates say it
- 5:12Speaker 2: to me and write to me, and they've said things like, man,
- 5:16Speaker 2: come into prison, save my life. Now, those of you
- 5:19Speaker 2: have never got how can he say a thing like that?
- 5:22Speaker 2: But some men know, man, I was so far out
- 5:25Speaker 2: there that if I'd have stayed out there, I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 2: even be here today. This actually allowed me to stop,
- 5:31Speaker 2: spend some time with myself and learn some things about me.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Now does that happen for everybody like that? And no,
- 5:37Speaker 2: But here's a person who was taking an experience that
- 5:40Speaker 2: could be considered a failure or negative and turn it
- 5:43Speaker 2: into a positive and using it to enrich their lives.
- 5:47Speaker 2: You can do it no matter what your set of
- 5:49Speaker 2: circumstances is. I recommend to everybody that you try changing
- 5:53Speaker 2: your outlook in order to change your outcome. Everything that
- 5:57Speaker 2: happens to you that's negative or you consider failure their experiences.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You've got to go through these things in order to
- 6:03Speaker 2: have the knowledge that you have today. So I wish
- 6:07Speaker 2: that I had come to this arrival that I'm in now,
- 6:10Speaker 2: this place of peace and joy, But then guess what,
- 6:13Speaker 2: I will not know what I know. I couldnot share
- 6:16Speaker 2: some of the things that I'm able to share if
- 6:19Speaker 2: I had not gone through some of them. And sometimes
- 6:22Speaker 2: that's the purpose of them, is to teach you a
- 6:23Speaker 2: lesson because you know, God has a plan for you,
- 6:26Speaker 2: He really really does, and eventually he can use you
- 6:30Speaker 2: no matter how old you are, and he can use
- 6:32Speaker 2: you no matter how young you are. If you just say, Okay,
- 6:36Speaker 2: I'm ready to hear your plan. I've tried mine, mine
- 6:39Speaker 2: ain't worked out. What's your plan for me? God, what
- 6:42Speaker 2: do you want me to do? That's why I say
- 6:45Speaker 2: every day, Steve already got radio show, y'all, Cause, man,
- 6:48Speaker 2: I ain't see it coming. I didn't see that coming.
- 6:51Speaker 2: I ain't see this book coming. I ain't seen I
- 6:53Speaker 2: ain't seen half of the amazing things that are happened
- 6:56Speaker 2: to me. I didn't plan them. I was sitting there,
- 6:59Speaker 2: manking God for some direction. And then I got smart
- 7:03Speaker 2: enough to stay watchful, be a hard worker now because faithful,
- 7:07Speaker 2: our works is dead, and it came. And I'll remind
- 7:10Speaker 2: you of this. God has given all of you a gift.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Every last one of you listening has a gift. God
- 7:16Speaker 2: has never created a soul that he did not provide
- 7:18Speaker 2: a gift to. God gives everyone a gift, and a
- 7:22Speaker 2: gift is not just singing, rapping entertainment. The richer gifts
- 7:28Speaker 2: are much more than that. Teachers are gifted people who
- 7:31Speaker 2: really have the gift of sharing information. That's a gift,
- 7:35Speaker 2: you know, and in that you can become great. You know,
- 7:41Speaker 2: a lot of people think that successful and greatness is
- 7:46Speaker 2: the same thing. Cornell West said it at my daughter's graduation.
- 7:50Speaker 2: He was a spokesperson and he said something so pointed.
- 7:52Speaker 2: He said, don't ever confuse success with greatness. The two
- 7:57Speaker 2: have nothing to do with each other. See people determined
- 8:00Speaker 2: success about money and fame and all this hell. But greatness.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Greatness ain't got nothing to do with your money. It
- 8:07Speaker 2: ain't got nothing to do with your fame. It's how
- 8:09Speaker 2: you conduct your life. It's how meaningful and significant you
- 8:13Speaker 2: become in your community, at your church, on your job,
- 8:17Speaker 2: to the cub Scout unit that you run, to the
- 8:20Speaker 2: little girl's lives, that you change that that little center
- 8:23Speaker 2: in the hood where you just one place of hope
- 8:26Speaker 2: to so many people and they come back. And I
- 8:29Speaker 2: used the example of Lou Dazzler who passed away in
- 8:31Speaker 2: LA who had the Boys and Girls Challenges Club out
- 8:34Speaker 2: in La. And he wasn't a rich man at all,
- 8:37Speaker 2: and if you walk by him, you wouldn't even know
- 8:39Speaker 2: who he was. But if you look at all the
- 8:41Speaker 2: people who have gone on to become politicians, who have
- 8:45Speaker 2: gone on to become CEOs, who have gone on to
- 8:47Speaker 2: become athletes, that have passed through this man's small building
- 8:51Speaker 2: in the hood in La, he was great. Trust me, man.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Prayer changes things. I said at all the time. But
- 8:59Speaker 2: when you see people become successful or great, that somebody
- 9:02Speaker 2: praying somewhere may not even beat them. Maybe it's they. Mama.
- 9:05Speaker 2: You know, I think of Tiger Woods and all the
- 9:07Speaker 2: greatness he's accomplished. You know, they always talk about his
- 9:11Speaker 2: father and all this. Here somebody somewhere praying for Tiger Woods.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I got cash money riding on that Tiger Woods. Mama
- 9:19Speaker 2: is a praying woman or something. My mother was. She
- 9:22Speaker 2: prayed me into this place because she used to call
- 9:24Speaker 2: me all the time praying for you, boy, And prayer
- 9:27Speaker 2: changes things. It really does. Try it today. It can
- 9:31Speaker 2: change you. It has changed millions of people. Open up
- 9:34Speaker 2: yourself to the greatness that's in you, because God is
- 9:37Speaker 2: giving you a gift matter fact that you ain't using it.
- 9:40Speaker 2: Who fought you think that is? I'm just telling you
- 9:43Speaker 2: you got one, and if you start praying about it,
- 9:47Speaker 2: it'll manifest itself and you can become one or two things,
- 9:51Speaker 2: successful or great or both. You can make the decision. Today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning, Shall.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, let me have your undivided attention right now,
- 10:07Speaker 2: at this present time, you are experiencing a blessing, authenticated, originated,
- 10:15Speaker 2: produced by Heavenly Father. It is called right now. In
- 10:22Speaker 2: other words, it's a new date. He is the only
- 10:26Speaker 2: one who can do it, and he does a time
- 10:28Speaker 2: and time and time again. I feel like pop locking
- 10:33Speaker 2: like Kirk Franklin, I feel Fosswaw video. Kirk onstage was said,
- 10:40Speaker 2: come on boy, all right now, come on little James,
- 10:45Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, this is Steve harper Morn the show.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Shelly Strawberry is out. I can't believe it. Junior's taking
- 10:53Speaker 2: her place. But the one and only calling for real
- 10:55Speaker 2: Mississippi Monica him the voice Junior and the legend that
- 10:59Speaker 2: is NEPHW Tommy Jr. What's on your mind today? I
- 11:03Speaker 2: got something on mind.
- 11:05Speaker 7: What's on your mind? Let's just get it. What you're
- 11:07Speaker 7: thinking about me today?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Well, I'm just hoping today go better than yesterday.
- 11:13Speaker 7: Yes, they were great.
- 11:14Speaker 2: I didn't a lot of ins and outs. Was real choppy.
- 11:19Speaker 2: We missed Shirley badly. Now we're gonna miss her anyway
- 11:23Speaker 2: cause of her voice. Your voice and her voice. It's
- 11:25Speaker 2: just such a different Junior. But we're gonna tolerated because
- 11:29Speaker 2: it's interesting radio. Now, what's on your mind?
- 11:32Speaker 7: What's some mind that is that?
- 11:34Speaker 8: I feel like you love me? But you don't feel
- 11:35Speaker 8: the same way about me that you do. Sure, I
- 11:37Speaker 8: feel like I am somebody just just stepping in.
- 11:39Speaker 7: You don't feel the same way about me.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Absolutely, you nailed it.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Is this fair?
- 11:49Speaker 1: I'm sorry? What is it?
- 11:51Speaker 4: Fair?
- 11:51Speaker 2: Caller?
- 11:54Speaker 1: This is this show?
- 11:55Speaker 2: So you're not You're not? Surely? How is I supposed
- 11:58Speaker 2: to feel the same way?
- 11:59Speaker 4: Back?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Close?
- 12:00Speaker 7: Ain't I close?
- 12:01Speaker 2: Close?
- 12:02Speaker 7: How?
- 12:03Speaker 2: First of all, you see on this zoom right now?
- 12:05Speaker 8: Boys, you see there the voice, I'm close somewhere in
- 12:10Speaker 8: the neighborhood.
- 12:11Speaker 2: That's you so off. You ain't in the neighborhood. You
- 12:14Speaker 2: out of town.
- 12:19Speaker 3: It's not close?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Is that what you're saying?
- 12:21Speaker 2: He at all? Ever?
- 12:24Speaker 3: Wait?
- 12:25Speaker 7: Man, if you wait, man, hold on. You don't see
- 12:27Speaker 7: the resimblance between me and Shirley in voice in.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Voice, don't say see the resemblance between you and Chirvey.

- 13:00Speaker 7: Have faith in me today.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Just have faith in me. No that that that ain't
- 13:05Speaker 2: what I got to do. You got to have the faith.

- 14:26Speaker 4: speak to sister Lauren, please, my sister Lawen. This is
- 14:30Speaker 4: Brother David from the church. I don't know if you
- 14:32Speaker 4: know me. You might know me when you see me,
- 14:34Speaker 4: but I don't know if you just know me because
- 14:35Speaker 4: we don't really interact that much at the church. But
- 14:38Speaker 4: I wanted to give you a call. We got a
- 14:39Speaker 4: bit of a problem going on. Ok, Okay, you got
- 14:42Speaker 4: you get Do you have a minute to talk? All right?
- 14:46Speaker 2: Now?
- 14:46Speaker 4: How long have you been doing the h the sign
- 14:50Speaker 4: you in the you know, you in the ministry where
- 14:51Speaker 4: you do the sign language for the church, and you
- 14:55Speaker 4: know I notice you up there at least two sundays.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Out of a the mind. You've been doing it quite
- 15:01Speaker 2: a while, am I right?
- 15:02Speaker 11: So yes, I've been doing it for over ten years.
- 15:05Speaker 11: But I'm a little confused as to why they're calling
- 15:09Speaker 11: about this time. I'm just a little to confuse. I
- 15:12Speaker 11: don't know who you are. You say that if I
- 15:14Speaker 11: see your face, I may know you. But what does
- 15:17Speaker 11: this have to do with anything? Is how long I
- 15:19Speaker 11: have been doing sigh language? I know, okay, I've been
- 15:22Speaker 11: doing it for years? So how may I help you
- 15:24Speaker 11: with this? Do you want?
- 15:25Speaker 2: Okay?
- 15:26Speaker 4: So no, no, I'm not trying to learn any sign language.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Do you do you know miss everybody call him Miss Murder?
- 15:32Speaker 4: Do you know Miss Murdle?
- 15:34Speaker 6: Oh?
- 15:34Speaker 11: Yeah, I sure do, mm hmm okay.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So Miss Murder.
- 15:38Speaker 4: That's that's that's that's that's one of my aunties right there.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Ms Murder lives.
- 15:43Speaker 11: Okay, And she gave you my number to call me.
- 15:46Speaker 11: I'm what what do you need for me?
- 15:49Speaker 12: Did she get me?
- 15:49Speaker 6: No?
- 15:50Speaker 4: No, That's what I'm getting at. So, so you know,
- 15:52Speaker 4: you know my you know, my honest is death. You
- 15:54Speaker 4: know she's hearing it pain?
- 15:55Speaker 2: You know that? Right? Okay?
- 15:57Speaker 11: Yes, uh, okay.
- 15:58Speaker 2: So here's a problem.
- 16:00Speaker 4: I ain't murderers telling us that you're not doing the
- 16:04Speaker 4: sign language right, doing the service and like you're missing
- 16:08Speaker 4: some things in the scripture or.
- 16:09Speaker 11: Something that's incorrect. I've been doing this for a very
- 16:15Speaker 11: long time and I know what I'm doing. So how
- 16:19Speaker 11: you so she told you for me to tell me
- 16:21Speaker 11: that I'm not doing this Allline correctly, that's let me.
- 16:25Speaker 4: Say, let me say this to you. I don't want
- 16:27Speaker 4: us to get off on the wrong for Let me
- 16:28Speaker 4: just say this to you. Once my once my aint
- 16:30Speaker 4: murder told us what was going on.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You know.
- 16:33Speaker 4: We then went to one of the deacons and asked him,
- 16:36Speaker 4: you know, is that way we can uh have a meeting,
- 16:39Speaker 4: you know, with with with Sister Lawrence so we can
- 16:41Speaker 4: try to get this taken care of and talk about it.
- 16:43Speaker 4: He said, well, won't you just won't you just call
- 16:45Speaker 4: and y'all can just work it out. And and that's
- 16:48Speaker 4: how I'm calling you now. I hope you I don't
- 16:51Speaker 4: know if you're at work or whatever. I apologize, but
- 16:53Speaker 4: I'm just trying to get to the bottom up Now,
- 16:54Speaker 4: let me go and say this. If my ain't murders
- 16:57Speaker 4: say that you ain't signing right, then Mi anie ain't lying.
- 17:02Speaker 4: That means your excuse me, that means you ain't signing right.
- 17:06Speaker 11: Really, so the pastor couldn't come to me, but he
- 17:10Speaker 11: but you figured you would just call me and tell
- 17:12Speaker 11: me that your auntie says that I'm doing incorrectly. That
- 17:16Speaker 11: doesn't make sense to me. How does she tell you that?
- 17:18Speaker 11: Did she sign it to you?
- 17:20Speaker 4: She signed languages to her daughter. Listen, you ain't got
- 17:23Speaker 4: to worry about who she's signing too. What you need
- 17:25Speaker 4: to worry about is getting your getting your stuff together
- 17:29Speaker 4: all right, and learning how to do this the correct
- 17:31Speaker 4: way so that my aintie can't get You know, Miami
- 17:34Speaker 4: needs to be getting the word like everybody else getting
- 17:36Speaker 4: the word, but she not getting it because you the
- 17:38Speaker 4: words getting lost in your hands.
- 17:41Speaker 11: All I'm hearing is your voice is getting very loud
- 17:43Speaker 11: and you need to match my tone. Young man. Okay,
- 17:46Speaker 11: let's start with that. What you means that match my tone?
- 17:53Speaker 11: Because you're getting very loud and I can't hear through
- 17:56Speaker 11: all of that. All right, Okay, Okay, I say this
- 18:00Speaker 11: the situation you called my phone, correct. You have a
- 18:04Speaker 11: problem that you're discusting with me, but you're getting more
- 18:07Speaker 11: angry than anything else. How am I going to resolve
- 18:09Speaker 11: this problem? I am trying to be as course, the way.
- 18:12Speaker 4: You resolved this problem is carry back to science school.
- 18:15Speaker 4: So you can learn what you need to so my
- 18:17Speaker 4: any can get the word. My ainty can't get the
- 18:20Speaker 4: gospel because you messing it up.
- 18:22Speaker 11: God anointed me to do style language at that church,

- 18:39Speaker 4: Does God know that my ain't myrtle not getting the
- 18:41Speaker 4: work because of you?

- 19:27Speaker 11: I told you to match my tone. Match my tone.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I am matching your tone. No can I say?
- 19:35Speaker 7: Can I?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Can I give you something else in this tone?
- 19:38Speaker 1: Do you mind?
- 19:39Speaker 2: If I say something in this tone?
- 19:41Speaker 11: You're gonna hear a click and the dog real quick.
- 19:43Speaker 12: Go ahead.
- 19:44Speaker 4: I just want to tell you in this tone that
- 19:47Speaker 4: your friend von de Taylor got me to prank phone

- 22:07Speaker 10: assaulted a thirteen year old girl with Diddy.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 22:12Speaker 10: President elect Trump has a new cologne called Fight Fight Fight,
- 22:17Speaker 10: And if we get to it, to go slow, right
- 22:20Speaker 10: boo boo boo.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Why would I want to smell like I've been fighting?
- 22:25Speaker 10: Right, We'll talk about these stories at the top of
- 22:29Speaker 10: the hour, but right now it's time to ask the clo. Okay, clo.
- 22:34Speaker 10: Lenisia in Detroit. She says, I'm fifty nine and recently divorced.
- 22:39Speaker 10: My daughter is always at my house because she thinks
- 22:42Speaker 10: I'm sad and lonely. I don't want her to know
- 22:45Speaker 10: that I have a new man already, so I need
- 22:48Speaker 10: her to stop popping up over here. Should I tell
- 22:51Speaker 10: her that I've moved on?
- 22:54Speaker 12: Oh?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Menia, I mean, you know you grown? Why nothing? You
- 22:59Speaker 2: gotta quit pop up over here for you mess around,
- 23:01Speaker 2: need therapy. You don't pop up over here and find out,
- 23:05Speaker 2: you know, find out. Yeah, that's right, you haven't mess around,
- 23:12Speaker 2: find out how you got here because I'm doing things,
- 23:15Speaker 2: you know, so I don't as a mother, do I
- 23:17Speaker 2: think you should just say, hey, look, I need my privacy.
- 23:21Speaker 2: I'm seeing someone because you know what, here's What people
- 23:24Speaker 2: don't understand about divorce people talking about, man, they seeing
- 23:27Speaker 2: somebody already divorce is when the courts give you the date,
- 23:31Speaker 2: the marriage been over, right, Okay, that's just the legalization
- 23:36Speaker 2: by the court. The marriage been over. So it's unfair
- 23:40Speaker 2: when people go, they just got divorced last weekend, not
- 23:43Speaker 2: next month. And she's seeing somebody already now, Man, that
- 23:46Speaker 2: marriage been over long time ago.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Because people say they ain't ain't even dry on a divorce, But.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Hell no, it ain't gonna be dry. I was doing
- 23:56Speaker 2: something when they were writing it. It wasn't even damn dry,
- 24:00Speaker 2: nothing to blow on yet he was already stop all right.
- 24:09Speaker 10: To Meka in San Diego, she says, this really fine
- 24:13Speaker 10: and handsome guy flirted with me all night at the club.
- 24:17Speaker 10: He followed me to my car at the end of
- 24:19Speaker 10: the night and he tried to have sex with me
- 24:21Speaker 10: in my car.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I said no.
- 24:24Speaker 10: He said he doesn't normally do stuff like that, but
- 24:27Speaker 10: I did something to him. He asked me out on
- 24:31Speaker 10: a date. So should I see where this goes?
- 24:35Speaker 2: Oh, I'm already tell you where it's going to. Damn
- 24:37Speaker 2: near went there in the parking lot of the car.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Where do you think is going, we know what you did.
- 24:41Speaker 2: Then he lied to you when he said I don't
- 24:43Speaker 2: normally do that. You look, look here, look here, look here.
- 24:47Speaker 2: If you're a grown man and you at a club,
- 24:49Speaker 2: you follow a girl to a car because she did
- 24:51Speaker 2: something to you in the club, and you try to
- 24:53Speaker 2: have sex with her in a car, and then you say,
- 24:55Speaker 2: I don't normally do this. Right here, we sure was comfortable.
- 24:59Speaker 2: H but I do this man, little girl, See where
- 25:06Speaker 2: it's gonna go. It's gonna go right where he tried
- 25:08Speaker 2: to get it to go in the parking lot. Why y'all,
- 25:12Speaker 2: Why y'all think if that was his objective in the
- 25:15Speaker 2: parcket lot, why would his objective change? That's the end
- 25:21Speaker 2: game for him. I don't normally do this. That's a lie.
- 25:25Speaker 2: He's done it a whole lot of times, so he's lying.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Huh it didn't work before?
- 25:33Speaker 6: Ye?
- 25:34Speaker 1: So should she see where this goes? Let it go?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Or you're saying he's.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Showing her, tetting her where it's going. He showed you
- 25:43Speaker 2: who he is? Yeah? Yeah, what's to saying if a
- 25:46Speaker 2: person shows you who they are, believe in Yep?
- 25:50Speaker 1: So there it is to Mika, all right, let's help.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Melanie in Dayton.
- 25:54Speaker 10: My boyfriend had just had a baby by another woman
- 25:58Speaker 10: when we started dating. The girl's family calls me a homewreckerd,
- 26:03Speaker 10: but I had no idea what was going on. I'm
- 26:06Speaker 10: about to marry this man and they're still hating on me.
- 26:10Speaker 10: Why not be mad at him?
- 26:13Speaker 2: No, listen, listen, listen. The girl's family is still hating
- 26:20Speaker 2: on you that he had the baby by, so they're
- 26:23Speaker 2: not finn change. You cannot control what another person thinks,
- 26:29Speaker 2: you can control how you react to it. Now, that's
- 26:34Speaker 2: a tough lesson to learn, and it took me a
- 26:37Speaker 2: long time to get that one. So I'm just giving
- 26:40Speaker 2: you some old head advice. You know, early on in
- 26:43Speaker 2: your life you can't control what people say or think
- 26:47Speaker 2: about you, but you can control your reaction to it.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Live your life. They didn't know, You didn't know, and
- 26:57Speaker 2: I really believe you didn't know. Record he wasn't in
- 27:01Speaker 2: the home, He wasn't finna do man. Yeah, yeah, that
- 27:06Speaker 2: wasn't about to happen, So I would I would just
- 27:10Speaker 2: go on about your business and and then and then
- 27:13Speaker 2: don't want them to shift the blame. See, you just
- 27:16Speaker 2: wanted off you. Why not hate him, see right there?
- 27:19Speaker 2: What you want him to hate? Your husband?
- 27:22Speaker 1: Well, boyfriend, this is her boyfriend.
- 27:24Speaker 10: They're not married yet, but she said when they started
- 27:27Speaker 10: dating he had a baby by another woman, and so
- 27:30Speaker 10: the family is just hating her, calling her home record
- 27:33Speaker 10: because he don't want to be with the baby mama.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's what that is. Hello, and that's him. But you know,
- 27:40Speaker 2: people always got to find the reason. If you wasn't
- 27:43Speaker 2: over there, he would be. That's not true. If a
- 27:46Speaker 2: person don't have to call some shots man man with you,
- 27:52Speaker 2: it's that person's decision, right right.
- 27:56Speaker 1: You don't want to be with her, that's it?
- 27:58Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, all right, you're done with Melanie.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Let's move on to Carson in Omaha. My son is.
- 28:07Speaker 10: Twenty one and when his girlfriend turns twenty one, he
- 28:11Speaker 10: wants to propose. They've been dating since middle school, so
- 28:16Speaker 10: I think they need a break from each other before
- 28:18Speaker 10: they get married. My son is hurt because I don't
- 28:21Speaker 10: support his decision.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Am I wrong?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Well, listen to me. All you doing is trying to
- 28:29Speaker 2: advise him as to dad, getting married at twenty one
- 28:33Speaker 2: is tough. You've been dating since middle school. You ain't
- 28:37Speaker 2: experienced no life y'all been in this relationship or let
- 28:45Speaker 2: me just give you this piece of advice here. No person,
- 28:50Speaker 2: no human being, man, woman, boy, or girl gets through
- 28:54Speaker 2: this life without temptation. You're not gonna get out of
- 28:58Speaker 2: here without that. Temptation is probably the greatest tool of sin.
- 29:06Speaker 2: It's the temptation. You are constantly tempted to do this
- 29:11Speaker 2: or that, right or wrong, or left or right. You
- 29:14Speaker 2: are constantly faced with the temptation of knowing what's best,
- 29:19Speaker 2: but looking at what's wrong. Lord him, miss, If.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Love and you is wrong, be you right right now?
- 29:31Speaker 2: Nor you don't understand? They got solve everything back in
- 29:34Speaker 2: the day. Yeah, yeah, if loving you is wrong, I
- 29:37Speaker 2: don't want to be right. See right there? So yeah,
- 29:41Speaker 2: you got it. You got a problem. You have a problem.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So tell his son what's the Hey man, I'm just
- 29:48Speaker 2: telling you from life experience what I know. But then
- 29:51Speaker 2: you can't stop Carson. He gonna want to propose to her,
- 29:56Speaker 2: you know when it wasn't early, man, Okay, he ain't
- 30:03Speaker 2: seen nothing yet, God, nothing yet. So much.
- 30:10Speaker 8: Lord, temptation make you clo covered up. Next entertainment news.
- 30:18Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Everybody's time for Entertainment news Carlor, What is going on
- 30:25Speaker 8: with jay Z?
- 30:26Speaker 10: What is this that's happening with jay jay Z's attorneys
- 30:30Speaker 10: have filed a motion to dismiss this sexual assault lawsuit,
- 30:34Speaker 10: which was.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Bought by Houston attorney.
- 30:38Speaker 10: Houston based attorney Tony Buzzby on behalf of a then
- 30:42Speaker 10: fourteen years yes yes, yes, Houston Yeah, Houston attorney Tony
- 30:48Speaker 10: Buzzby on behalf of a then thirteen year old girl
- 30:51Speaker 10: who says that back in two thousand, jay Z and
- 30:54Speaker 10: Diddy raped her at a BMA's after party. The motion
- 30:58Speaker 10: says that Buzzby has been hounding jay Z behind the
- 31:02Speaker 10: scenes for months and only now that after jay refused
- 31:07Speaker 10: to pay, did the woman file suit. Jay also thinks
- 31:11Speaker 10: that Jane Doe's name, this is the woman, obviously she's
- 31:15Speaker 10: a grown woman now should be made public. The plaintiff
- 31:19Speaker 10: has provided no evidence, no affidavit, declaration, or specific factual
- 31:25Speaker 10: support to establish the kind of severe harm necessary to
- 31:30Speaker 10: justify the sunimity.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Of a name.
- 31:34Speaker 10: So it's kind of like that someone uses an alias name.
- 31:38Speaker 10: So jay Z wants to know what is her name? So,
- 31:43Speaker 10: in a statement addressed to CNN, jay Z called the
- 31:45Speaker 10: allegations so heinous in nature that I employ you to
- 31:49Speaker 10: follow criminal complaint, not a civil one. Whomever would commit
- 31:54Speaker 10: such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would.
- 31:58Speaker 1: You not agree? Quote That's what jay Z said in
- 32:01Speaker 1: the statement to CNN.
- 32:02Speaker 10: Jay Z also said in a written statement, my only
- 32:05Speaker 10: heartbreak is for my family, My wife Beyonce, and I
- 32:09Speaker 10: will have to sit our children down, one of whom
- 32:13Speaker 10: is at the age where her friends will surely see
- 32:17Speaker 10: that the press, see it in the press and ask
- 32:19Speaker 10: questions about the nature of these claims and explain the
- 32:23Speaker 10: cruelty and greed of people. I'm more and yet another
- 32:27Speaker 10: loss of innocence. He went on to say that children
- 32:30Speaker 10: should not have to endure such a crime at such
- 32:33Speaker 10: a young age, and it's unfair the degrees of malicement
- 32:38Speaker 10: to destroy families and human spirit in quote in part.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Meanwhile, jay Z and.
- 32:43Speaker 10: Beyonce and their family, they made it a family affair.
- 32:46Speaker 10: Last night they supported their daughter Blue Ivy on the
- 32:50Speaker 10: red carpet of the Disney movie Mufasa, which both Blue
- 32:55Speaker 10: Ivy is doing voice she's a voice actress for that movie,
- 32:59Speaker 10: and Yonce.
- 33:00Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Here's the part that's really really nasty. In this whole thing,
- 33:10Speaker 2: we're talking twenty four years, we're talking A person does
- 33:15Speaker 2: this anonymously, and you file a civil suit, which is
- 33:21Speaker 2: unlike a criminal suit in that because in the criminal
- 33:24Speaker 2: suit you have to have the burden of proof. In
- 33:26Speaker 2: a civil suit, the burden of proof is half less
- 33:30Speaker 2: than that. And what happens with a lot of these people, y'all,
- 33:35Speaker 2: this is what happens with a lot of people. A
- 33:38Speaker 2: lot of people get guys like this guy right here,
- 33:45Speaker 2: this is his specialty, get some charges together in hopes
- 33:50Speaker 2: of suddenly so it just goes away. But as jay
- 33:54Speaker 2: Z said, don't you think someone who would do something
- 33:58Speaker 2: so heinous should be locked away? Yeah, because if you
- 34:01Speaker 2: do something to my daughter like that, I want prison time.
- 34:05Speaker 2: I don't want your check. But now it's this Sybil
- 34:09Speaker 2: is asking for a check. What's unfair, what is blatantly unfair,
- 34:16Speaker 2: is that this accuser, who may be completely fictitious and
- 34:22Speaker 2: made up, gets to hide under Jane Doe. And then
- 34:27Speaker 2: once this goes away, the damage has been done to
- 34:30Speaker 2: jay Z and they get to skip to the lou
- 34:34Speaker 2: my dollar. Well, we didn't get the money. We just
- 34:36Speaker 2: go on about our business. They should come up with
- 34:39Speaker 2: the law when you falsely accuse somebody or something and
- 34:43Speaker 2: it turns out not to be true, that should be
- 34:47Speaker 2: a penalty you gotta face some time too. That's the
- 34:52Speaker 2: thing I hate about this one right here, man, because
- 34:55Speaker 2: it can be that way, you know, and just people
- 34:58Speaker 2: people need to look at that too. And so, now,
- 35:01Speaker 2: if a crime was committed, like jay Z said, that
- 35:05Speaker 2: person should a thirteen year old, you should be under
- 35:08Speaker 2: the jail.
- 35:10Speaker 10: Blow under the jail. That's unthinkable. Sexual assault of a child,
- 35:14Speaker 10: a thirteen year old. So I mean, you know, justice
- 35:18Speaker 10: for the victims if this crime actually occurred.
- 35:21Speaker 2: And so because of the world we live in, it
- 35:25Speaker 2: makes you question everything twenty four years later because here's
- 35:30Speaker 2: what has the little tangent it. It's that lawyer that's it.
- 35:34Speaker 2: This is his specialty. Yeah, yeah, this is his specialty.
- 35:38Speaker 2: And now this man's family got to deal with this,
- 35:43Speaker 2: and ain't nobody got no proof. Ain't nobody came forward
- 35:47Speaker 2: with nothing. They just saying this is what happened, and
- 35:49Speaker 2: you you lump it together with somebody who's guilty of
- 35:52Speaker 2: some things. I don't like this one at all, man.
- 35:56Speaker 2: This is I don't I don't like it. You know. Now,
- 35:59Speaker 2: if you got proof, then let's see it.
- 36:02Speaker 10: Yeah, jay Z says this is a blackmail attempt. The
- 36:06Speaker 10: attorney contacted him and basically tried to get him to
- 36:09Speaker 10: give money, and when he didn't give up the money,
- 36:14Speaker 10: you know, we're gonna release your name and all these things.
- 36:17Speaker 10: And he jay Z said, all celebrities aren't alike, you know.
- 36:21Speaker 2: So right, And you know that's that's what's hurtful in
- 36:26Speaker 2: this whole thing, and and and and it's coming from
- 36:29Speaker 2: this guy who this is his im. I'm just y'all.
- 36:32Speaker 2: And then you know, you look at some of these
- 36:34Speaker 2: blogs and y'all just a ran win it already that
- 36:37Speaker 2: he go, They all, Man, Yeah, and here's a guy
- 36:41Speaker 2: man that ain't really had no JJ had nothing like
- 36:46Speaker 2: that attached to him nowhere.
- 36:51Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, this is an ongoing breaking news story.
- 36:55Speaker 10: We'll keep an eye out.
- 36:57Speaker 7: Praying for his family too.
- 36:58Speaker 8: Man, come up at twenty minutes after that hour, what
- 37:00Speaker 8: gifts are you hoping for Christmas?
- 37:02Speaker 7: Okay, we'll talk about it at twenty minutes after.
- 37:05Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Holidays are here, and it's essential to recognize that personal

- 41:23Speaker 12: I have listening to your radio show on December the
- 41:27Speaker 12: night Monday, that is. And I'm just curious Junior, that
- 41:32Speaker 12: is I guess the ann for today because it so
- 41:37Speaker 12: I need him to live enough in a voice a
- 41:39Speaker 12: little bit, make it seem like he is excited to

- 42:03Speaker 8: First of all, Okay, what's getting me and what stopped

- 42:11Speaker 8: I don't know how to read, and I don't know.
- 42:13Speaker 8: I'll never do this. All this reading is in the way,
- 42:16Speaker 8: is what I'm saying.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Okay, but do it anyway.
- 42:21Speaker 7: That's what Sureley do.
- 42:23Speaker 2: It's the reading that's bothering you. Why don't you read it?
- 42:27Speaker 2: Because it ain't. It ain't like three paragraphs? Why don't
- 42:30Speaker 2: you read it? Memorize it? And then saying.
- 42:34Speaker 7: Why would I do that?
- 42:36Speaker 2: It's people get scripts all the time. See you ever
- 42:44Speaker 2: seen Denzel walking on the movie screen with the paper
- 42:46Speaker 2: in and hand? Okay, if he can remember a whole
- 42:49Speaker 2: damn movie, how you can remember? Hey coming up next?
- 42:52Speaker 2: Jowberry letters?
- 42:53Speaker 7: Hell, let me ask you this, U, what movie have
- 42:57Speaker 7: you seen me in?
- 43:01Speaker 8: I ain't got Therefore I must not be a good
- 43:04Speaker 8: actor because I ain't want remember I remember I don't
- 43:06Speaker 8: get the job for Santa Claus.
- 43:07Speaker 7: Remember how the pressed I was They didn't give me
- 43:09Speaker 7: the job.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Last year Santa Claus. What you auditioned for a movie
- 43:12Speaker 1: to be.
- 43:12Speaker 7: Saying to be Santa Claus?
- 43:14Speaker 2: And they said not, I'm all to be Santa Claus.
- 43:16Speaker 2: That's why you ain't get the park.
- 43:18Speaker 7: I can tell you the other part. I wasn't good
- 43:20Speaker 7: at reading.
- 43:22Speaker 2: So you're going to know what this lady is saying.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Let's do the next call off? Picky energy up because
- 43:27Speaker 2: you are up.
- 43:29Speaker 7: I'm excited to be here.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Go ahead, you call it next car.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Going, But Junior, you're here. What the lady is saying right.
- 43:38Speaker 7: The lady ain't got to read this show either, but
- 43:41Speaker 7: you know.
- 43:41Speaker 2: The do it though?
- 43:45Speaker 1: All right, were losing, let's just stopping, yeah, because.
- 43:51Speaker 7: Go ahead.
- 43:52Speaker 1: This is d from Florida.
- 43:53Speaker 10: She has a question Steve for you about President elect
- 43:56Speaker 10: Donald Trump.
- 43:57Speaker 13: I see Carla Thomas, Shirley or good morning. Sending you
- 44:02Speaker 13: all blessings, love and light. This is the from Florida.
- 44:06Speaker 13: I wanted to ask you questions Steve, as you all
- 44:08Speaker 13: was talking about what we could expect from Trump and
- 44:11Speaker 13: how he's parting January sixth, perists. I will never understand
- 44:18Speaker 13: the hypocrisy of our democracy. For one, but isn't this
- 44:22Speaker 13: the same president that as a nation we impeached when
- 44:27Speaker 13: he was in office last time? So I just wanted
- 44:29Speaker 13: to know what your thoughts like, how can a former
- 44:33Speaker 13: president that once was impeached get that power again. I
- 44:37Speaker 13: just just want to get your thoughts as it sings
- 44:39Speaker 13: that people forgot that he was impeached and how can.
- 44:43Speaker 11: We get that going again again.
- 44:45Speaker 13: I love you all, sending you blessings, love and light
- 44:48Speaker 13: from Florida. I love you guys on the radios, listen
- 44:51Speaker 13: to you every day.
- 44:52Speaker 2: God blessed well. From my standpoint, I tell you, ma'am,
- 44:56Speaker 2: I'm through hating on Trump. He is the president. He
- 45:00Speaker 2: got elected. I did everything in our power to get
- 45:03Speaker 2: Kamala Harris elected. The American public by over five million
- 45:08Speaker 2: votes decided that's not what they wanted. So now they
- 45:13Speaker 2: have to sit here and deal with the repercussions. As
- 45:17Speaker 2: far as did they forget he was impeached? Well, did
- 45:21Speaker 2: they was? Did they forget he was convicted of sexual assault?
- 45:26Speaker 2: Did they forget he said he grabbed women by the peak?
- 45:30Speaker 2: Did they forget he had thirty four felony convictions? Did
- 45:34Speaker 2: they forget that when he was president, before he doubled
- 45:37Speaker 2: the debt of the United States? Did they forget all
- 45:40Speaker 2: of that? Yeah, and they voted him in anyway, they
- 45:43Speaker 2: didn't forget. They just don't care.
- 45:47Speaker 7: Well, in the words of the lady, let me just
- 45:48Speaker 7: do this right now. Coming up next, Nephew Thomas prank
- 45:52Speaker 7: phone call.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Right after this good energy, yay, whoa much.
- 45:59Speaker 8: Better Listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming at
- 46:04Speaker 8: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after
- 46:06Speaker 8: today's Strawberry letter is pack a bag and a snack
- 46:10Speaker 8: because you ain't coming back.
- 46:12Speaker 7: That's it, all right, thank what you got, man?
- 46:16Speaker 2: What you do right now? Today? I got no halwed,
- 46:20Speaker 2: no hawed? All right? Gehead here.
- 46:26Speaker 4: So fall your beautiful ladies. That were excellent hair. I
- 46:31Speaker 4: love the way you look, whether it's natural all weed.
- 46:34Speaker 4: This right here is called no haw weed. No how
- 46:38Speaker 4: we If you show up at work with it, you're done.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Let's go catch up.
- 46:44Speaker 10: Hello.
- 46:45Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to reach Reesa. Please Reesa, Hia. My
- 46:49Speaker 6: name is Byron, Byron from the job. How are you?
- 46:52Speaker 6: I'm okay, I'm good. Listen. I hate to call you
- 46:55Speaker 6: after hours at your home, but there has been some
- 46:59Speaker 6: new issues that will be going into effect. That was
- 47:01Speaker 6: just tomorrow morning, and we're calling everyone letting them know
- 47:05Speaker 6: the new changes that have been issued that will take
- 47:08Speaker 6: effect first thing tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call.
- 47:12Speaker 6: So don't be alarmed. It's just give me a call
- 47:14Speaker 6: letting you know what the what the higher ups have changed.
- 47:17Speaker 16: Okay, Okay, there's no problemsten, Okay.
- 47:20Speaker 6: As of tomorrow, what's gonna happen is when you guys
- 47:23Speaker 6: come in, you'll be issued a new key card, and
- 47:25Speaker 6: that particular card will actually registers when you come in
- 47:29Speaker 6: and go out. Okay, okay, all right. Second one is
- 47:32Speaker 6: there will no longer be any personal internet at the
- 47:36Speaker 6: job any longer. You won't be able They're actually putting
- 47:38Speaker 6: a block on all computers. All the computers will no
- 47:41Speaker 6: longer be able to go to a lot of these
- 47:44Speaker 6: sites that you guys go to that you've been that's
- 47:47Speaker 6: been available here in the past. Okay, okay, all right.
- 47:51Speaker 6: The last one is reesa do you do you wear
- 47:54Speaker 6: a hair weave? What do you wear a hair weave
- 47:58Speaker 6: or a wig?
- 47:59Speaker 10: Yes?
- 48:00Speaker 6: Okay, Well here's one thing and hopefully you can get
- 48:03Speaker 6: this change about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair are
- 48:07Speaker 6: wigs going to be allowed at the job site from
- 48:11Speaker 6: this point on? So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must
- 48:14Speaker 6: be wearing their natural hair.
- 48:16Speaker 3: You're joking.
- 48:17Speaker 6: No, these are the issues that are going to be
- 48:20Speaker 6: that are instated, and these are going to take effect
- 48:23Speaker 6: as of tomorrow morning, seven o'clock.
- 48:24Speaker 16: What does hair weaves to have to do with any
- 48:26Speaker 16: of these changes? The first two I can understand punching
- 48:29Speaker 16: in and being on the internet, Yes, that's something that
- 48:33Speaker 16: that corporate, But hair weaves and weeks you're getting.
- 48:36Speaker 6: Into change in the high up start, they're looking down
- 48:40Speaker 6: upon it. Wigs and hair weaves they have to go.
- 48:44Speaker 6: So I'm assuming that if you, like you said, you
- 48:47Speaker 6: do have one, I suggest it doesn't come out. You
- 48:51Speaker 6: start taking it down now and prepare your hair to
- 48:54Speaker 6: be natural as you come into work tomorrow.
- 48:56Speaker 16: I'm not taking my hair down. I've been here seven
- 48:58Speaker 16: years and I've dealt with all the change just that
- 49:00Speaker 16: y'all have made. But there's no way that I'm taking
- 49:03Speaker 16: my hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron?
- 49:06Speaker 6: Yes, my name is Byron, and.
- 49:09Speaker 16: I'm sorry.
- 49:10Speaker 6: Let's get back to your weave. This has You're gonna
- 49:12Speaker 6: have to do something. Is there someone that you can
- 49:15Speaker 6: call tonight to help you get your hair down and
- 49:17Speaker 6: so you can look presentable with your natural hair tomorrow.
- 49:20Speaker 16: No, my weave colls over two three hundred dollars and
- 49:23Speaker 16: I'm not about to take that down. I mean, it
- 49:26Speaker 16: takes a long time to take that down.
- 49:28Speaker 6: Okay, I mean, is this something Maybe you can take
- 49:31Speaker 6: it down and just wear it on the weekends because
- 49:34Speaker 6: as of now, you're not going to be allowed to
- 49:36Speaker 6: actually wear it on the property.
- 49:38Speaker 16: And how will you know if someone has weave or not?
- 49:40Speaker 16: Are you gonna do hair checks or something.
- 49:43Speaker 6: Okay, ma'am. I'm not quite sure what they're going to
- 49:46Speaker 6: do to check it. But by you telling me that
- 49:49Speaker 6: you have a weave, then I have to write it
- 49:52Speaker 6: down that you have confirmed that you do, and we
- 49:55Speaker 6: got to make sure that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one.
- 49:58Speaker 16: But you don't know what my natural hair looks. It's
- 50:00Speaker 16: like from my wave. Are you heard how much I
- 50:03Speaker 16: pay for it?
- 50:03Speaker 2: So it's a good wave, ma'am.
- 50:05Speaker 6: It's not about how good you know with the quality
- 50:08Speaker 6: of your weave or anything. They don't want it. They
- 50:10Speaker 6: want natural hair. I don't know what that means. But
- 50:14Speaker 6: they're going natural. They're going green, they're going natural. I
- 50:16Speaker 6: don't know what it is. They're going natural, and so
- 50:18Speaker 6: will you. Tomorrow morning you need to come in with
- 50:21Speaker 6: your hair completely down. Okay, I won't do it.
- 50:24Speaker 16: I'm not taking my weave now.
- 50:26Speaker 6: Okay, Then what is that y'all gonna write me up
- 50:28Speaker 6: or something? Okay, ma'am. Do you not want your job?
- 50:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 50:31Speaker 16: I want my job, but this don't make no sense.
- 50:33Speaker 16: You're talking about personal appearance. I can understand y'all have
- 50:37Speaker 16: a dress coach and enforcing a dress code that's one thing,
- 50:40Speaker 16: but telling somebody to change. Aw you lost your mind. Man,
- 50:44Speaker 16: You're crazy, ma'am.
- 50:46Speaker 6: I'm not good. I have other people that I have
- 50:48Speaker 6: to call. Bottom line is get your hat out and
- 50:51Speaker 6: get your butt into work tomorrow, and let's not go
- 50:53Speaker 6: back and forth anymore.
- 50:54Speaker 16: Okay, Well, listen, by Ranch, you're a lost mine. If
- 50:58Speaker 16: you're thinking I'm taking my weave out, I'm not taking
- 51:01Speaker 16: out at all. Resa is coming up in there with
- 51:05Speaker 16: her hair and I'm gonna sit down at my desk
- 51:07Speaker 16: and do my jobs. Y'all gonna have to drag me
- 51:09Speaker 16: up at some weeds. You know, lost your mind. You
- 51:13Speaker 16: and your powers that be or whoever.
- 51:15Speaker 13: They may be.
- 51:16Speaker 6: You tell them that I said that way an wait
- 51:18Speaker 6: a minute, listen, are you telling me that you're coming
- 51:21Speaker 6: in regardless with your hair on you?
- 51:24Speaker 16: That's what I just said.
- 51:28Speaker 6: Then then we need to Why don't you go ahead
- 51:30Speaker 6: and bring some boxes in because your man, I'm not
- 51:34Speaker 6: you bring this man. I don't want to have to pack.
- 51:36Speaker 6: You get your stuff and box it up, and you're
- 51:38Speaker 6: losing your job because you can't take what.
- 51:41Speaker 16: You can do that because I'm gonna call the news
- 51:43Speaker 16: station and tell them you're dragging me out of behind
- 51:46Speaker 16: some weeds. You're wrong, you wrong, You're wrong, you stupid
- 51:50Speaker 16: behind weed an.
- 51:52Speaker 6: You need to watch your language, young lady.
- 51:53Speaker 16: Why I need to watch my language?
- 51:55Speaker 1: I'm at home.
- 51:55Speaker 16: You call me on my own home phone on my time.
- 51:59Speaker 6: I'm at my house.
- 52:00Speaker 12: I'm not on your block.
- 52:01Speaker 16: I say what I want to say on my phone.
- 52:03Speaker 6: Okay? Can I say what I want on my phone
- 52:05Speaker 6: and then I'll let you go and you can come
- 52:07Speaker 6: into the work anywhere you want to tomorrow. What is it, Bima?
- 52:10Speaker 16: What else you got to say?

- 56:25Speaker 15: Thank you, my good friend.
- 56:26Speaker 9: Junior subject, pack a bag and a snack because you
- 56:30Speaker 9: ain't coming back. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm eating a going
- 56:35Speaker 9: ben because you ain't going back.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Right, let me do that again.
- 56:38Speaker 15: Subjects, pack a bag and a snipe. That ain't you know?
- 56:41Speaker 9: Kind of threw me. Pack a bag and a snack
- 56:43Speaker 9: because you ain't going back. Okay, how do you like that, Junior?
- 56:47Speaker 2: I love it a little bit more better for you.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Pack a bag uh huh and a snack uh huh.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Cause your.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Sad?
- 57:05Speaker 15: All right, thank you, Steve.
- 57:07Speaker 9: Dude, Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a new guy that is
- 57:10Speaker 9: either really crazy about me or he's Craig Cray in
- 57:14Speaker 9: real life. He can't seem to get enough of me
- 57:16Speaker 9: and wants to be in my face. Twenty four to seven,
- 57:19Speaker 9: he was married eight years and said he can't live
- 57:22Speaker 9: without companionship. His house is forty five minutes from mine,
- 57:27Speaker 9: so when we go on dates, he either sleeps in
- 57:30Speaker 9: my guest room or I sleep in his, depending on
- 57:33Speaker 9: whose area we spend time in.
- 57:35Speaker 15: I work from home, so I'm always able to work
- 57:37Speaker 15: from his home.
- 57:39Speaker 9: Two weeks ago, he invited me to a white party
- 57:41Speaker 9: and he said to quote, pack a bag and a
- 57:44Speaker 9: snack because you ain't going back.
- 57:46Speaker 15: He wasn't joking, and I've been at his house for
- 57:49Speaker 15: two weeks.
- 57:50Speaker 9: He drove me home to pick up some clothes and
- 57:52Speaker 9: water my plants, and I had to get my mail
- 57:55Speaker 9: stopped in everything. He has fixed the guest room up
- 57:58Speaker 9: for me, and he brought all of my favorite I
- 58:01Speaker 9: think he might really like me because he doesn't pressure
- 58:03Speaker 9: me for sex and he lets me sleep peacefully in
- 58:07Speaker 9: my own room. He cooks breakfast most of the time,
- 58:10Speaker 9: and we have been cooking dinner together. The question I've
- 58:13Speaker 9: been asking him is where is this going. He can't
- 58:17Speaker 9: give me a straight answer. He just says this is
- 58:19Speaker 9: a trial period to see if we are compatible. I'm
- 58:23Speaker 9: thirty four and he's thirty nine, and both of us
- 58:26Speaker 9: are still in our prime. So that fact that he
- 58:30Speaker 9: is locked in on me so quickly it's interesting. I
- 58:34Speaker 9: don't doubt that he could be the one, but he's
- 58:36Speaker 9: treating me more like a roommate. I sometimes lie in
- 58:39Speaker 9: the guest room and wonder why he's not trying to
- 58:42Speaker 9: sneak in and make love to me. We have done
- 58:45Speaker 9: it a few times and it's really good, but it's
- 58:48Speaker 9: like he's rationing it out. Is this a good thing
- 58:51Speaker 9: or is this weird to you? I want to know
- 58:53Speaker 9: what he's doing in the other bedroom at night? How
- 58:57Speaker 9: do I get him to open up to me? Okay,
- 59:00Speaker 9: I think this is a little weird.
- 59:02Speaker 3: I really do.
- 59:03Speaker 15: You don't think so?
- 59:04Speaker 9: I mean, who basically orders someone to pack snacks because
- 59:07Speaker 9: they're not going back.
- 59:08Speaker 15: To their own home?
- 59:10Speaker 1: Is that what you want?
- 59:12Speaker 9: It just doesn't sound like that's what you want to me.
- 59:15Speaker 9: I think he has pretty much kidnapped you. That's what
- 59:18Speaker 9: it sounds like. For lack of a better term, I
- 59:20Speaker 9: think it's all because he's uncomfortable, very uncomfortable being by himself,
- 59:25Speaker 9: and that's why he's not bothering you at night or
- 59:28Speaker 9: any time, because he just needs a body in the
- 59:30Speaker 9: house with him.
- 59:32Speaker 1: But you do know that you can go home at
- 59:35Speaker 1: any time, right?
- 59:36Speaker 3: You do know this?
- 59:38Speaker 9: He says it's a trial period to see if you
- 59:40Speaker 9: guys are compatible. When you ask, but what is this
- 59:43Speaker 9: trial period for? I mean, is it for marriage? Are
- 59:47Speaker 9: you trying to be in a serious relationship? It sounds
- 59:52Speaker 9: like he just wants you as a roommate. You said
- 59:55Speaker 9: that yourself, But again, what do you want?
- 59:58Speaker 1: And you should have a say?
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: And how long you want this trial to go on,
- 1:00:02Speaker 9: you don't just have to ask him and get his answer.
- 1:00:06Speaker 9: And if you want to continue to participate in this
- 1:00:09Speaker 9: so called trial period, you should have an opinion on that.
- 1:00:13Speaker 9: In other words, this should have been a joint decision.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: Tell him you're going home, and that you want to
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: go home and see what he says and how he acts.
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: If he throws a fit or doesn't want to take you, yeah,
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: he's crazy and you need to leave asap.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: I just think you need to.
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: Think about what you want, and only you can determine
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: that if you want to leave, leave, Steve.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I want to say something about Pete. People ask me
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: all the time, Steve. Y'all be writing strawberry letters, y'all self?
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: Who still can do this right here?
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Who you know can think of this right here? These
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: people with real life, real situation. I'll be just as
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: stunned as y'all are me.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: And going, what the hell you know? I'm stunned.
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: Pack a bag and a snack because you ain't going back. Okay. Now,
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: come to find out later in the letter that this
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: woman is thirty four to dude thirty nine. Now you're
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: dating this new guy that's really crazy about you, or
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: he's cray cray in real life. He can't get enough.
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: Time with me.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: He wants to be in your face. Twenty four seven,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: he was married eight years. Said he can't live without companionship.
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: Now this is a fact. He cannot live with our companionship.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Now listen to me. Now, I think he's going to
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: prove to you that he is needy. This man is needy. Now,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: when a man tell you he can't live with our companion,
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: he can't be alone. I can't stand to be by myself.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: That's one red flag, red flag stuck in the ground.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Now what you're doing with these red flag is you're
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: collecting them. You're picking them up, putting them in the
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: back seat of your car. Steady riding with him. But
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: that was the first red flag. His house is forty
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: five minutes for mine, so when we go on dates,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: he just sleeps in my guest room or I sleep
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: in here, depending on who's there. We spend time in
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: a work from house, so I'm always able to work
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: from home. Two weeks ago, y'all got invited to a
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: white party. He said, pack a bag and a snack
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: because you ain't going back. Really, what the hell you mean. Now,
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: you ain't asked no questions right there, right there, you
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: ain't say, wait minute, well, what you mean? I ain't
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: going down? I got a house, I got plants, I
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: got a life, I'm paying rent or whatever you're doing.
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: I need to know you didn't get nothing. Your dumb
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: ass packed a bag and got some snacking and went
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: on over there.
- 1:02:35Speaker 15: She's a hostage.
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: All right, hang on, we'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:43Speaker 9: Today's Strawberry letter subjects pack a bag and a snack
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: because you ain't going back. We'll get back into it
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: Holidays are here, and it's essential to recognize and personal
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: safety a year round priority.

- 1:03:20Speaker 4: by now, pay later options. That's BYRNA dot com.
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: All right, Steve, come on, let's up recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: The subject is pack a bag and a snack because
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: you ain't going back.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Thirty four year old woman dating this guy that's thirty nine.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: She thinks he's really either a great guy he's crazy.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: Why because he wants to be in her face. Twenty
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: four seven. Man was married for eight years and told
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: her I couldnot live without companionship. Well, remember now he
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: told that to somebody else too, because he's married for
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: eight year. Now he might not be able to live
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: with companionship. But somebody showed this that he wasn't a
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: companion that she wanted to continue to ship with. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: now obviously this ship don't sail the right way. Now,
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: he told you he can't live without companionship. That's a
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: red flag. Ladies, instead of collecting red flags, drive over there.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: You don't put this red flag in your back seat.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: And you kept riding. He forty five minutes from your house,
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: You forty five minutes from his. So when y'all go
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: out on dates, you spend a night in his guest room,
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: and he's stay in your guest room. Depending on where
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: y'all spent the time at You work from home, so
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: you can work from his house. Two weeks ago, he
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: invited you to a white party, and then he told you,
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: he said, pack a bag and a snack because you
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: ain't going back.
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: You are.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: And voluntary experimental roommate. You are a voluntary experimental roommate.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: He was joking. He wasn't joking, And I've been in
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: this house for two weeks. He drove you home, picked
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: up some clothes and water. Your playing, had to get
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: my mail stopped, and everything you had to or you
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: wanted to see ain't. Nobody got a gun to your head.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: So what you're not gonna do is blame this letter
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: on him being Craig Crag, because right now he'd have
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: told you what to do, and your dumb ass is
- 1:05:31Speaker 2: doing it all. You stopped your mail. He fixed up
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: his guest room for me. He bought all your favorite snacks.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: I think he might really like me because he don't
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: pressure me for sex, and he lets me sleep peacefully
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: in my homeroom. He cooks breakfast most of the time,
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: and we've been cooking dinner together. The question I've been
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: asking him is where is this going and he can't
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: give me a straight answer right there. You should have
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: took your ass back. I asked him, where's he going?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: And he can't give you a straight answer right there.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: You should have took your asshole. Personally, you shouldn't have
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: went over there in the first place, because that pack
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: your bag and a snack because you ain't going back now,
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: you gonna stop your mail. You over that water and
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: your plans, trying to make sure they still living, and
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: you over there working from his house. Y'all playing husband
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: and wife but you ain't husband and wife. Y'all playing house,
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: but y'all don't really live together because you got another house.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Where is this going? Everybody listening to this woman know
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: he says, this is a trial period to see if
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: we are compatible. I'm thirty four and he's thirty nine,
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: and were still in our prime. So the fact that
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: he's locked in on me so quickly, it's interesting. See, lady,
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: this dude he the one in your mind, he is
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: the one because you're doing all the things is he
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: asking you to do so you can lock him in?
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: And he'd locked in on you and you like it.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: You ain't never been treated this way, so you like it. Now,
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: I've been asking him where this is going, and he
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: can't give me a straight answer. So now you're involved
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: in an experiment that you don't know what the experiment
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: is hoping to accomplish it. You don't know what he's
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: trying to accomplish. So you got an experiment and you
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: don't know what he's trying. What are we what conclusion
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: are we trying to reach. That's what an experiment is for.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Somebody's trying to cure something. Somebody's trying to find an
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: answer to something. Somebody trying to find a shorter way,
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: like when I'm out of d ranch, I might cut
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: through another trail to see where it go. Okay, well
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: that's an experiment. But he's treated me more like a roommate.
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: I sometimes lie in the guest room and wonder why
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: he's not trying to sneak in and make love to me. Well,
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: I said, I'm curious about this, my damn, because I'm
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: taking right now, I'll be wearing you to death. I
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: would be wearing you have to death. I'll be army crawling.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: I open your doughknob from the stomach position and army
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: crawl to the bed. You look up at the foot
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: of bed. All you see his eyes and the ball head.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: I'll be down there and wait, I'll be wearing your
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: ass half to death. I sometimes lying to just we,
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: But wonder why he ain't trying to sneak in and
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: make love to me. We've done it a few times
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: and it's really good, but it's like he rationing it out.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: Is it a good thing? Or is it weird to you?
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: How the hell is a good thing in you? Weird
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: ass man? All this nutty mess he doing? I want
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: to know what he's doing in the other room, at
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: the brother bedroom at night?
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: Go in now?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Hey, Hey, what's all that out here? Open this doe?
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: How do I get him to open up to you?
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: If you want a man to open up to you,
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: close yourself off to him. Me and a real lead?
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: How do I get him to open up to me?
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: Hell?
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: Are you doing everything he tell you to do? All right? See?
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: You never thought about being in lucive evil?

- 1:13:18Speaker 7: This is your boy, Chris Brown, your boy, the Big
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: Snoop Dog.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: This is your boy, said the entertainer.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: This is jo Linda Adams less set.
- 1:13:28Speaker 17: It's DJ Cavin and you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:32Speaker 17: There's morning shows and there's the Greatest Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:13:36Speaker 7: Another one dre.
- 1:13:38Speaker 10: On Steve Harvey FM Rights. I went on a date
- 1:13:40Speaker 10: over the weekend with a girl I met on an app.
- 1:13:44Speaker 10: I was excited until I saw how she carried herself
- 1:13:48Speaker 10: in a bar that we went to. In an hour,
- 1:13:51Speaker 10: she almost got into a fight with another girl, who
- 1:13:54Speaker 10: she said, cut in front of her in the bathroom line.
- 1:13:58Speaker 10: She was overflirting with the bard for free drink and
- 1:14:02Speaker 10: made three racial comments that just disgusted me. In hindsight,
- 1:14:08Speaker 10: I should have told her that the night was over
- 1:14:11Speaker 10: from me and taken her home. Instead, I just excused
- 1:14:16Speaker 10: myself to the bathroom, walked out the back door of
- 1:14:19Speaker 10: the bar, and then locked her. I don't know how
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: she got home, and now I kind of feel bad
- 1:14:26Speaker 10: about that shut out.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Yeah, man, you should always do the gentlemanly thing. Never
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: leave a woman out that, especially if you picked her
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: up and how she got home, that's that's being a
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: little bit rude. But you could have took her home
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: and just bounced and never seen her again. But the
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: cool thing would have been to get the lady to
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: her house that's responsible, because you would have felt horrible
- 1:14:51Speaker 2: if she had gotten an accident or somebody attacked her something,
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: so that the gentleman thing to do would be to
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: escort her home, be kind, and drop off at the door,
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: and then drive off and go. Bet I don't do
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: that again. Yeah, yeah, gentleman with a girl cut her
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: in the bathroom, flirting with the bartender for future free drinks,
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: and then made several racial comments. What she said, though,
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: What did she say? Probably somebody.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: You've been careful, sir.
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a good one. I had a good one,
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: but I decided for the future of the radio business.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: I had a good one though we all knew he said. Okay,
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: you bet that, all right, But but the thing is
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: I had it instantly.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I know.
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: Exactly what she said, So he should be a gentleman
- 1:16:00Speaker 10: at all times.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: All right, let's move on here.
- 1:16:02Speaker 10: We have time for one more chuck on Steve HARVFM Rights.
- 1:16:05Speaker 10: I've been dating my girlfriend for about two years and
- 1:16:08Speaker 10: she's an absolute sweetheart.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I love her, but she's a mess, and I've known
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: for a while.
- 1:16:15Speaker 10: I've been wanting to break up with her for a
- 1:16:17Speaker 10: few months, but I'm feeling guilty about it.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: She hasn't really done anything to have her heart broken.
- 1:16:24Speaker 10: But I just can't stay with her and be her
- 1:16:26Speaker 10: therapist anymore and cheer her own and uplift her all
- 1:16:31Speaker 10: the time. I know this is going to be difficult
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: for both of us, but I worry about how she'll respond.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: What can I do to make this easier on her?
- 1:16:41Speaker 10: How can I end it without destroying an already fragile person.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: Bruh, there is no way to do what you asking?
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: What is you talking about? No, she fragile. Yeah, in
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: the end of two years, you've been taping her together,
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: You've been in therapy with her for two damn years. Yeah,
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: now you're finna tell hers over Hell he ain't therapy
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: now this? Yeah?
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: So that?
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a rough one.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: What can he do, then, Steve, he doesn't want to
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: be with her anymore?
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: What can he do? Yeah, I'm gonna leave. That's what
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna do. You talking to the wrong person like that? Yeah, bounce.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Without You're not gonna talk to her, You're just gonna leave.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: What you're gonna say ain't really nothing you could say.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: I leave town. I just you know, just uproot.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Then a text then a text.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Go down to your job though, she's gonna come down
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: to your job that's for shore and be out there
- 1:17:57Speaker 2: and banging on the window crying. So it's gonna be
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: a lot. Yeah, okay, we.

- 1:18:20Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:18:24Speaker 7: All right, Colin, So what's going on? What is this
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: story about?
- 1:18:27Speaker 10: The couple of newly weeds in Philadelphia may not be
- 1:18:30Speaker 10: the first people to ever get married, but they sure
- 1:18:33Speaker 10: are the oldest. Bernie Littman and Marjorie Fitterman tied the
- 1:18:39Speaker 10: knot at a senior living facility where they met. Bernie
- 1:18:44Speaker 10: is one hundred years old and Marjorie is one hundred
- 1:18:47Speaker 10: and two years old. The Againness Book of World Records
- 1:18:52Speaker 10: recently certified them as the world's oldest couple to marry
- 1:18:55Speaker 10: based on their combined age. The couple first met at
- 1:19:00Speaker 10: a costume party at the facility. And quickly fell in love.
- 1:19:05Speaker 10: So they were previ Was they dressed as two young
- 1:19:08Speaker 10: kids or was they dressed hundred and three? One hundred
- 1:19:15Speaker 10: and two? Marjorie is and Bernie her husband is one
- 1:19:17Speaker 10: hundred and one, and she that she insists on drinking
- 1:19:22Speaker 10: buttermilk every day has helped her stay to be one hundred.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: And two years old. So what do you guys think?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: What do you would you recommend to lift to be
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: one hundred?
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm gonna get some damn buttermilk. That's damn sure.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: That's on the top of the list.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Damn what I think she got proof of concept? Yeah,
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: she's proof. So I'm buying me some damn buttermilk to
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: a day?
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: Okay, to day?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: What a butter milk?
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: I'm not getting married at a hundred? Right to I'm
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: not getting married at a hunt.

- 1:20:47Speaker 2: I got to give up. That's a tough one, I got,

- 1:20:53Speaker 2: I let know. Let me just tell you what's gonna
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: happen if you don't bathe for two weeks. I know
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: the next time you sit on the toilet, you're gonna
- 1:21:00Speaker 2: just roll off of it into the floor once you
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: spread your legs. I'm telling you right now, you just
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: gonna roll out on your die. You gonna fink there's
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: no way you could sit on thathing. You ain't even
- 1:21:15Speaker 2: got to do nothing. Just pull your pants down and
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: sit on that toilet and sink. All right, You're gonna
- 1:21:27Speaker 2: hit your head on the edge of that suit. You're
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: gonna do more damage if you don't get your jaw wire.
- 1:21:33Speaker 2: All kinds of stuff dong that that.
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: Don't bathe in thirty days of the bar hard?
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Long time you do? And when you do bathe after

- 1:23:13Speaker 2: don't tell a lie to getting busted. You tell a
- 1:23:15Speaker 2: lie to get away. That's the whole goal in life matter.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: If I can lie and get away with it every time?
- 1:23:21Speaker 2: Do you know the lies I would tell?
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: Why do you have to lie? Why can't you just
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: tell the truth.
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: That marriage you want to keep, hold your family together.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: You want you got to lie to do all that little.

- 1:26:30Speaker 2: in here. Thank you doing everything all right? I want
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: to give myself some credit. Well you need to check
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: with some people. Let's pass some credit out.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: Junior. How long have you been working here?
- 1:26:42Speaker 7: I've been here thirteen years, thirteen years.
- 1:26:46Speaker 2: You've been on the radio thirteen years?

- 1:26:51Speaker 7: I don't know what I'm but I'm coming.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: I don't know what.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: I see And this is how you sun?
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: Can you get to your.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Clothes remark sir, I'm sorry.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we're doing them right now. All right, y'all, let
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: me give you this as we can go.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: Away from here crazy right here.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Man, listen, y'all, in this world we live in today,
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: you have got to manage your expectations. And what I
- 1:27:29Speaker 2: mean by that is stop expecting people to be happy
- 1:27:34Speaker 2: for you. Stop expecting people to cheer for you, because
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: I'm finding more and more that that's not what they do.
- 1:27:42Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: There are steal a lot of good people in this world.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: There are a lot of people who are happy for
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: your success. There are a lot of people who are
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: cheering for you. There are steal people that's praying for you.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: But I found those people to do it quietly. I've
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: said this one hundred times on this show. Hate is loud,
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: but love is strong. And that's what I see. A
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: lot of the people that love you, they're not as
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: loud with it. They just love you. But people that
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: hate you, oh, they make a lot of noise about it,
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: don't they. Oh Man, they come out of nowhere, don't they?
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: And you sitting up here going what did I ever
- 1:28:31Speaker 2: do to you? And I'm telling you right now, in
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: the world we live in today. You don't have to
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: do nothing. All you got to do is exist, and
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: somebody gonna have a problem with you existing. I've never
- 1:28:44Speaker 2: seen the world the way it is today, and I've
- 1:28:47Speaker 2: been on this planet sixty seven years. Is so much hate.
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: We don't cheer for each other anymore. I stopped expecting
- 1:28:56Speaker 2: people to cheer for me. You know what people do, man,
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: People find something to talk about in a negative way.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: They don't even know the story. You know what's crazy, man?
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: You know what I learned recently. People get jealous of
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: your success, but ain't nobody jealous of your journey? Did
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: you hear what I said? People are jealous of your success,
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: but ain't nobody jealous of your journey? That's crazy? You know,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: the average person don't even know what you're going through.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: The average person don't even know what you have to
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: do to be who you are. The average person has
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: no idea what you've overcome, how many hurdles you've jumped,
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: how many rivers you've swam, how many values you've crawled through,
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: how many ditches you done grind out of? They just
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: don't know, And then they have the nerve the audacity
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: to pass judgment on you and all you doing is
- 1:30:06Speaker 2: the best you can for yourself, for your family. So man,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: listen to me. Stop expecting people to get it nowadays.
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: Understand this. Get you a relationship with God. Get your
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: relationship with somebody that's cheering for you. Talk to God today,
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: somebody who is the architect of your future. Because I
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: got news for you, people at ain't the architect of
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: no future. I heard a guy say recently that the
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: reason he did the types of interviews he did was
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: because he was trying to destroy the people he was
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: talking about. Ain't that crazy, man? You trying to destroy
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: somebody else?
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:30:47Speaker 2: Because yours is destroyed? Is that why you're doing it? Man,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: listen to me, y'all, get a relationship with God, somebody
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: that's happy for your success, somebody that's pulling for you.
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: Somebody has a great plan for you. And that's God Almighty,
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: and He never ever changed. People are subject to change
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: from God, and hold old to God's a change in hand.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: I used to see older people say.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: That all the time.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: I get y'all have a great day. Talk to God.
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: She's a love for all.
