- 2:04Speaker 9: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:07Speaker 9: on dig me now one and only. Steve Harvey, Oh yeah, man,
- 2:12Speaker 9: got a radio show. Do you understand that? I'm telling you?
- 2:16Speaker 9: God been big in my life? God, God is a gentleman.
- 2:19Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:20Speaker 9: I want to I want to point that out to you.
- 2:23Speaker 9: God is an absolute gentleman. He will not come in
- 2:28Speaker 9: unless he's invited. He don't just barge into your life.
- 2:34Speaker 9: He gives us the power of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 6: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 9: If you say you got it, I don't need you,
- 2:40Speaker 9: He lets you have it. If you say I need you,
- 2:43Speaker 9: come see about me.
- 2:45Speaker 8: He right there. It's just a real simple thing, man.
- 2:49Speaker 9: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 9: into something, and please know I have.
- 2:58Speaker 8: I man see that.
- 3:01Speaker 9: That's why I'm so adamant about it, because I've gotten
- 3:04Speaker 9: myself in some circumstances and positions in my life. Well,
- 3:08Speaker 9: I've been, I've been. I've had some low moments, man,
- 3:12Speaker 9: I've had some moments why. I did not know what
- 3:15Speaker 9: to do. I didn't know what was next. I didn't
- 3:19Speaker 9: know how to go about it. I didn't have no
- 3:22Speaker 9: more ideas. I was stuck. I thought a couple of times,
- 3:29Speaker 9: well might not make it past this one. But then
- 3:34Speaker 9: if I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen?
- 3:37Speaker 9: And then I held on to this little thing that
- 3:39Speaker 9: my mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes
- 3:43Speaker 9: some when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
- 3:47Speaker 9: she said, just hope it'll be all right, you know.
- 3:50Speaker 9: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
- 3:53Speaker 9: is the beginning of faith. Hope is just is there
- 3:58Speaker 9: possibility out there for me? I show hope, something happened.
- 4:05Speaker 9: See hope is okay, man, Because like I say, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 9: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 9: of faith.
- 4:14Speaker 8: It was just the idea.
- 4:16Speaker 9: It's just the thought that something could change for me,
- 4:19Speaker 9: that something could be a little bit different from me,
- 4:22Speaker 9: that maybe, man, just maybe, for some reason, I could
- 4:28Speaker 9: be saved. I could be rescued. Things could turn around,
- 4:34Speaker 9: it could hitit any other direction. Maybe I could quit
- 4:38Speaker 9: messing up. Maybe somebody will forgive me. Maybe somebody will
- 4:43Speaker 9: just say all right. I don't know, but I can't
- 4:47Speaker 9: count the times I've been in that position. But then
- 4:51Speaker 9: once I hope a little bit, and then I remember.
- 4:53Speaker 9: Also my mother, because she was a Sunday school teacher,
- 4:57Speaker 9: she taught me the most valuable lesson I've ever learned
- 5:00Speaker 9: in my life. Nothing has been greater in my life
- 5:03Speaker 9: than my faith. She taught me to pray. Mama used
- 5:08Speaker 9: to say, when it get real, dog for your son,
- 5:11Speaker 9: prayer changes things. She said, When you seem like you
- 5:15Speaker 9: lost and you can't find your way, stop and pray,
- 5:20Speaker 9: she said, because prayer change is things. You know, when
- 5:23Speaker 9: you get a point in your life when you've done
- 5:25Speaker 9: all you can do and you can't do no more
- 5:27Speaker 9: and you just don't know what to do next, she said, stop, son,
- 5:31Speaker 9: pray and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
- 5:39Speaker 9: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
- 5:42Speaker 8: She said.
- 5:43Speaker 9: If you pray just hoping, she said, to God come
- 5:47Speaker 9: through for you. That'll give you confidence that he can
- 5:51Speaker 9: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 9: she saying, you start believing, she said, And that's when
- 5:59Speaker 9: you're on to something. If you can turn that hope
- 6:03Speaker 9: into belief, that hope into faiths. That's the ability to
- 6:13Speaker 9: believe in something that you can't see. But the key though,
- 6:17Speaker 9: the faith is you're believing in something that you can't see.
- 6:22Speaker 8: See.
- 6:23Speaker 9: Hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm pretty sure.
- 6:25Speaker 9: Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot of people
- 6:27Speaker 9: who can explain this thing a lot better than I
- 6:30Speaker 9: can to you, hope is just kind of I don't
- 6:33Speaker 9: know how to I don't know how to say it,
- 6:34Speaker 9: but I'm just telling you, hope is you're just hoping
- 6:37Speaker 9: it work right. You just have a thought in your
- 6:39Speaker 9: mind that you know, Man, wherever you are, or whoever
- 6:44Speaker 9: you are, whatever you are, to me God, I show
- 6:47Speaker 9: hope something change. Hope helps.
- 6:50Speaker 6: Man.
- 6:51Speaker 9: If you ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope,
- 6:57Speaker 9: and then if you pray with some hope and God
- 7:01Speaker 9: answers your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence,
- 7:07Speaker 9: and after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now theyin't
- 7:14Speaker 9: just hoping, but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that
- 7:18Speaker 9: I cannot see. Faith has been the key to my
- 7:25Speaker 9: entire existence, even when I didn't have any.
- 7:31Speaker 8: It was faith, as I look back on it, that
- 7:35Speaker 8: has gotten me here. And not just faith, but my faith.
- 7:42Speaker 9: See, you will only get to where you're going in
- 7:46Speaker 9: your life based on your faith.
- 7:51Speaker 8: See. A lot of people get the word faith confused,
- 7:54Speaker 8: like what's your faith?
- 7:56Speaker 9: And then they start going down this whole list of
- 7:58Speaker 9: all these different religions out here. But really an essence, man,
- 8:03Speaker 9: when I talk to people about faith, I'm talking to
- 8:05Speaker 9: you about your your belief.
- 8:10Speaker 8: How much do you believe in the unseen? See?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Faith is the core of all that is happening to
- 8:20Speaker 1: me today.
- 8:22Speaker 9: It is the faith that I have in my relationship
- 8:24Speaker 9: with God that enables me to just oftentimes if I
- 8:31Speaker 9: stay on the right course and believe a certain way
- 8:34Speaker 9: and act a certain way, his blessings just poor.
- 8:39Speaker 4: They just come.
- 8:41Speaker 9: And it comes in a lot of little ways too.
- 8:44Speaker 9: I've started to notice. See, it ain't just a lot
- 8:46Speaker 9: of people think blessings is money. No, man, that ain't it.
- 8:50Speaker 8: It's coverage.
- 8:52Speaker 9: It's every time my plane lands safe, It's every time
- 8:57Speaker 9: they predict bad weather and I get up in the
- 8:59Speaker 9: sky and they don't be no bad weather. You know
- 9:03Speaker 9: this is this is favor. These are blessings that get
- 9:06Speaker 9: poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer me something,
- 9:11Speaker 9: not money, but an opportunity. See, blessings come a lot
- 9:16Speaker 9: of ways. But once you tie in to God, once
- 9:21Speaker 9: you tie in and you start doing the best you
- 9:24Speaker 9: can do, and you start asking for him to make
- 9:27Speaker 9: you a better person, to help shape and mold you
- 9:31Speaker 9: into the kind of man or person that he wants
- 9:34Speaker 9: you to be. You be amazed what God can do
- 9:37Speaker 9: with you. Man, if you just invite me in and
- 9:39Speaker 9: allow him to be a part of your life. I mean,
- 9:42Speaker 9: what you got to lose out there? Come on, why
- 9:46Speaker 9: would you not change? Why would you not allow God
- 9:49Speaker 9: to be a part of your life. God got some
- 9:51Speaker 9: big plans for you. If he didn't, you wouldn't keep
- 9:54Speaker 9: waking up. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Let me
- 10:04Speaker 9: have your divide of detention. This is my very wide
- 10:07Speaker 9: opening for the morning. I want you to have a
- 10:08Speaker 9: great time.
- 10:09Speaker 10: Come on at join in with us, put your head
- 10:13Speaker 10: on somebody's back and say hey, I love you and
- 10:16Speaker 10: allowed them. Let's say I love you, and together we
- 10:20Speaker 10: can have love and this well and this well will
- 10:22Speaker 10: have more love.
- 10:24Speaker 9: Yeah, but that ain't working right now, So welcome to
- 10:26Speaker 9: the stead. See where you get that from.
- 10:31Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 10:32Speaker 9: Just came to me, thought i'd do it. Ain't no
- 10:35Speaker 9: need of doing the same thing. It's a new day,
- 10:37Speaker 9: new chance, new opportunity. Man, let's make the best of it.
- 10:40Speaker 9: God is good. Yeah years, man, gratitude affects your altitude
- 10:44Speaker 9: all the time, but it's brought on by your attitude.
- 10:47Speaker 9: You got to get it together, baby. That's the world
- 10:49Speaker 9: we live here today. Sheldon Strawberry color for Real, Mouth
- 10:53Speaker 9: of the South, junior boy, my man, myself.
- 10:56Speaker 8: Yeah, happen he to me.
- 11:00Speaker 6: I like that.
- 11:01Speaker 3: See like you know what I mean.
- 11:03Speaker 9: Sometimes they ain't got no cheerleader, cheer for yourself, clap
- 11:09Speaker 9: it up for you. So sometimes you got to clap
- 11:10Speaker 9: it up for yourself.
- 11:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Like Snoop Dogg said, I want to think, I want
- 11:16Speaker 1: to thank me last, but not least, I want to
- 11:18Speaker 1: think me. Believe in yourself, love yourself.
- 11:24Speaker 8: Yeah, So telling you what's on your mind today.
- 11:26Speaker 11: I just said, are you feeling pretty good today?
- 11:29Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 11:29Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you sound good.
- 11:33Speaker 8: I feel good there.
- 11:34Speaker 3: You know, whatever it is, what it is.
- 11:37Speaker 9: You know, some days have some few more challenges in
- 11:40Speaker 9: it than others, and but I survived all of them
- 11:43Speaker 9: so far. This too shall pass, that's for sure. Yeah,
- 11:47Speaker 9: And I'm expecting great things to happen in my life. Man,
- 11:51Speaker 9: and gratitude check. Yesterday, I really did have to do
- 11:54Speaker 9: a gratitude check because what I found out was as humans.
- 11:58Speaker 9: And I find myself guilty of this often in my
- 12:02Speaker 9: quest to do better and be better, in my quest
- 12:06Speaker 9: to accomplish the next level and reach for more goals
- 12:10Speaker 9: and get higher and higher, I sometimes forget to have
- 12:15Speaker 9: the right level of gratitude for where I am. And
- 12:19Speaker 9: if you pursue the quest wholeheartedly with everything that's in you,
- 12:24Speaker 9: and it's constantly grind, grind, go, go, go, go go,
- 12:28Speaker 9: you will humanly forget to say thank you and be
- 12:33Speaker 9: grateful for where you are. And now you've negated your opportunity,
- 12:37Speaker 9: Steve Harvey for further advancement, because God, in his infinite
- 12:42Speaker 9: wisdom and supreme judgment, he's thinking, well, he ain't grateful
- 12:48Speaker 9: for this, ain't no needing me over burdening him with more,
- 12:53Speaker 9: Or if you're complaining.
- 12:54Speaker 8: About your present condition.
- 12:57Speaker 9: Could God be also saying, maybe I don't need to
- 13:00Speaker 9: put no more on them because this is causing so
- 13:03Speaker 9: much stress and problems. You know, Biggie said, more money,
- 13:07Speaker 9: more problem. But if you focus so much on the problems,
- 13:10Speaker 9: then maybe God won't give you mo because he already
- 13:14Speaker 9: know you already complaining about this.
- 13:17Speaker 11: Right, okay, all right, something exactly what I was going
- 13:23Speaker 11: to ask you.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Look at God.
- 13:34Speaker 11: All right?
- 13:36Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:38Speaker 1: got the nephew coming up to run that prank back
- 13:41Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening morning show, all right, and

- 13:48Speaker 1: nephew and run that prank back.

- 24:15Speaker 1: months we've been together. My feet sweat constantly and they
- 24:19Speaker 1: smell bad. I constantly washed my feet and used powder
- 24:24Speaker 1: when he was around. We will be living together soon,
- 24:27Speaker 1: so my doctor said, to be honest with him. Do

- 25:35Speaker 9: be like a polished oak.

- 26:05Speaker 1: Oh yes, of course, yes, please don't go do that
- 26:09Speaker 1: for real?
- 26:09Speaker 9: Yeah, I say at home depot. I thought that would
- 26:12Speaker 9: clear it up, but you know, just for protection purposes.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Marshawn in Houston says, I'm twenty eight years old and
- 26:18Speaker 1: married to a great guy that is starting his own business.
- 26:20Speaker 1: His business partner is my friend from my hometown, and
- 26:23Speaker 1: he has a successful business already. He might be into

- 26:30Speaker 1: few times before I got married for old time sake,
- 26:33Speaker 1: and about three months ago he met my husband and
- 26:35Speaker 1: propositioned him about a new business idea. I may be
- 26:39Speaker 1: overthinking this, but it's odd to me. What do you
- 26:42Speaker 1: think does he have an ulterior motive?
- 26:45Speaker 9: He propositioned your husband about it is business idea? Let
- 26:50Speaker 9: me well, well, if the proposition got something to do
- 26:54Speaker 9: with you, you may know how to worry about this
- 26:57Speaker 9: old secret no more because he can get it as
- 27:02Speaker 9: because once a man make you his wife, he came
- 27:05Speaker 9: with a different attitude. I might want to tell it,

- 27:17Speaker 8: You overthinking it, so.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Don't tell him. Y'all have a relationship, and.
- 27:22Speaker 11: Why don't you do that?
- 27:23Speaker 6: No?
- 27:23Speaker 3: HEMN bring up? What everything.
- 27:29Speaker 6: All?
- 27:29Speaker 15: Right?

- 31:55Speaker 10: Right.
- 31:56Speaker 1: I got a question for you.
- 31:58Speaker 8: I don't just cry, you know all this.

- 34:15Speaker 9: discovered that I have several traits that this company's lacking,
- 34:19Speaker 9: and I can be a most fulfilling factor in developing
- 34:23Speaker 9: the app to loop direction of your firm and your company.

- 46:02Speaker 13: But I just don't understand what you're trying to get
- 46:04Speaker 13: at here about the baptism that.

- 47:33Speaker 6: the paying Ane time, the paying Anee time, and I
- 47:35Speaker 6: get my kids baptized. And but the hides gonna have
- 47:38Speaker 6: nothing to do with the baptism the times had something
- 47:42Speaker 6: to do with all the time I spit over there,
- 47:44Speaker 6: and I'm not wating anything in return. Brother, that's what

- 48:07Speaker 6: gonna you're a man of the trial. Don't mean that

- 48:13Speaker 12: You understand that.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Brother.
- 48:14Speaker 13: If it's something you need to deal with, you need to.

- 53:01Speaker 1: but thinks it's my ex boyfriend's baby. I've told her
- 53:04Speaker 1: husband that it's time for us to stop messing around
- 53:07Speaker 1: and be serious now because we have a baby on
- 53:10Speaker 1: the way. I told him that he needs to tell
- 53:12Speaker 1: his wife before the baby is born. I want my
- 53:15Speaker 1: child to know his father and have a relationship with
- 53:17Speaker 1: his father's two kids. When we found out I was pregnant,
- 53:20Speaker 1: he panicked and asked me to terminate the pregnancy.
- 53:24Speaker 11: I refused to do that, and when we found out it's.
- 53:27Speaker 1: A boy, he was overjoyed. The problem is every time
- 53:31Speaker 1: he's about to tell his wife, some life changing event
- 53:34Speaker 1: happens with her. The first time he tried to tell her,
- 53:37Speaker 1: she had a minor car wreck and had to wear
- 53:40Speaker 1: a neck brace for a month. He said that he
- 53:42Speaker 1: didn't want to tell her while she was in pain.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Three weeks after that, she got COVID nineteen and spent
- 53:48Speaker 1: a couple of days in the hospital, so he didn't
- 53:51Speaker 1: tell her. Then fast forward to last week, he was
- 53:55Speaker 1: supposed to tell her, and he said she passed out
- 53:58Speaker 1: at work and the doctor said she may have had
- 54:01Speaker 1: a mile stroke. Listen, I don't want to kill the
- 54:05Speaker 1: woman by telling her about our baby on the way,
- 54:08Speaker 1: but I'm MFin tired of all her problems. He could
- 54:12Speaker 1: be lying to stall me out, so I'm tempted to
- 54:14Speaker 1: call her myself, Steven Shirley. Is he full of bs?
- 54:18Speaker 1: Or what?
- 54:19Speaker 6: Uh huh?
- 54:19Speaker 1: What you're not gonna do is put our name in
- 54:22Speaker 1: your mess? Is hateful of bs? You're the one that's
- 54:26Speaker 1: full of bs. This is craziness right here. This is
- 54:29Speaker 1: a mess. Mess on top of a mess. You've gotten
- 54:33Speaker 1: yourself into A young lady, thirty two year old single
- 54:36Speaker 1: mother with one child and pregnant with another. You know
- 54:40Speaker 1: what do you think Steve and I can do for you?
- 54:43Speaker 1: I can tell you right now, we can't do anything
- 54:45Speaker 1: for you because the damage is already done. You are
- 54:49Speaker 1: determined to tell this wife no matter what, knowing and
- 54:53Speaker 1: even not caring that this is going to hurt her
- 54:56Speaker 1: and of course break up his family. You're wrong, You
- 54:59Speaker 1: are wrong. You've been the side chick slash best friend
- 55:02Speaker 1: for ten years now, and you think you're owed something
- 55:05Speaker 1: because of that, Because now all of a sudden you're pregnant.
- 55:09Speaker 1: You're not owed anything. But I tell you who is
- 55:12Speaker 1: owed something. The baby is owed something, not you. You
- 55:17Speaker 1: knew what you were getting into when you got into
- 55:19Speaker 1: this ten years ago. He is married, okay, with a
- 55:23Speaker 1: whole wife. He hasn't left her in all these ten
- 55:26Speaker 1: years that you guys have been together. Have you ever
- 55:30Speaker 1: asked yourself why? I'll tell you because he didn't want to,
- 55:34Speaker 1: He didn't want to lead, he didn't want.
- 55:36Speaker 13: To be with you.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Okay, he liked the arrangement just like it was. He
- 55:40Speaker 1: had his cake and he ate it too. Okay, Now
- 55:44Speaker 1: here's a baby. You know he's got to do right
- 55:47Speaker 1: by so his wife is going to find out anyway.
- 55:51Speaker 1: She's going to find out whether he was lying about
- 55:53Speaker 1: all the stuff that happened to her. His wife is
- 55:55Speaker 1: going to find out. Get your child support, and please
- 55:59Speaker 1: leave this family alone. You were old, ain't nothing. You're
- 56:03Speaker 1: messing it.
- 56:04Speaker 11: Up right here? Is he full of bs or not?
- 56:07Speaker 1: You're mf and tired? Come on, really, Steve, Wow.
- 56:16Speaker 9: So much to unpack in this letter. First of all,
- 56:20Speaker 9: I want to thank you for the title. It means
- 56:22Speaker 9: a great deal to me.
- 56:24Speaker 8: I love it.
- 56:24Speaker 9: Though I appreciate you, it just warms my heart to
- 56:29Speaker 9: have somebody say that it ain't a month for my
- 56:32Speaker 9: life go by.
- 56:32Speaker 8: I'm gonna say it at least once a more. You
- 56:36Speaker 8: say this, Yeah, this is my favorite phrase. At least
- 56:38Speaker 8: twelve times a year.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I know didn't had well, I said more.
- 56:42Speaker 8: I know I said at least twelve times a year,
- 56:44Speaker 8: probably more.
- 56:47Speaker 9: This thirty two year old single woman got one child
- 56:49Speaker 9: and it's pregnant with a second child. But she's pregnant
- 56:53Speaker 9: by her best friend who happens to be married. We've
- 56:57Speaker 9: been friends with benefits for almost ten years. His wife
- 57:00Speaker 9: thinks that we're just best friend, so she's accepting me
- 57:05Speaker 9: as part of the family.
- 57:07Speaker 8: Well, ain't this wonderful? Guess what, y'all the family fit
- 57:12Speaker 8: to have a baby.
- 57:14Speaker 9: Oh, she's accepted you as family, which means for ten
- 57:22Speaker 9: years you've been up in this woman's face, fronting like
- 57:27Speaker 9: y'all friends, right, like y'all all right.
- 57:31Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm surprised she ain't detected this. Most women can
- 57:37Speaker 8: detect this.
- 57:38Speaker 13: You know it.
- 57:39Speaker 9: I can promise you it has crossed her mind. She
- 57:43Speaker 9: done seen something because when the news come out, I
- 57:45Speaker 9: promise you, the first thing she said, I knew something
- 57:48Speaker 9: was going on. I promise you she gonna say that
- 57:51Speaker 9: because there's no way you can be up around a
- 57:54Speaker 9: man as much as you claim. Y'all up there and
- 57:56Speaker 9: she accept you as family, and she ain't thought y'all
- 57:59Speaker 9: was messing around, right, this is dangerous territory you in,
- 58:03Speaker 9: young lady, and you'd have got yourself in a mess.
- 58:07Speaker 8: But you mad at everybody in the letter. But you're about.
- 58:10Speaker 9: Except yourself, and we come back. I'm gonna deal with it.
- 58:14Speaker 9: I'm gonna show you what's wrong with you now because
- 58:16Speaker 9: you can't do this. Right here, you said I'm pregnant,
- 58:19Speaker 9: but I think it's my ex boy and she thinks
- 58:22Speaker 9: I'm pregnant, but she thinks my ex boyfriend baby hit
- 58:25Speaker 9: the line. I've told her husband it's time for us
- 58:28Speaker 9: to stop messing around and be serious now because.
- 58:30Speaker 8: We got a baby on the word. What the hell
- 58:32Speaker 8: did that mean? Yes, it's time if y'all will be
- 58:35Speaker 8: serious now stop messing what?
- 58:37Speaker 1: All right? Hold on, Steve, hold on, It'll have part
- 58:39Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 58:42Speaker 1: after the hour Steve's Savings subject he says it a lot.
- 58:45Speaker 6: You heard it.
- 58:46Speaker 1: I'm mf and tired. Won't be right back.
- 58:49Speaker 11: You're listening, Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 58:52Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Subject I'm mfing tired.
- 58:58Speaker 9: I bet you is thirty two year old woman got
- 59:01Speaker 9: one child. She's pregnant with her second by her best friend,
- 59:05Speaker 9: who happens to be a married man. They've been friends
- 59:09Speaker 9: with benefits for ten years now, and the man's wife
- 59:13Speaker 9: think that they just best friends. So she's accepting me
- 59:15Speaker 9: as part of the family. This is cute because what
- 59:18Speaker 9: that means now the family fitdn't have a baby, but
- 59:22Speaker 9: the wife thinks that is her ex boyfriend's baby. Here's
- 59:29Speaker 9: the line. I've told her husband, it's time for us
- 59:32Speaker 9: to stop messing around, to be serious now because we
- 59:35Speaker 9: have a baby on the way. Oh oh, so you think,
- 59:39Speaker 9: you think now since you're pregnant, now you'll find out
- 59:43Speaker 9: later on he already got two kids with this woman,
- 59:45Speaker 9: you think, because now couldn't you pregnant?
- 59:48Speaker 8: You think now you got debs.
- 59:51Speaker 9: So now it's time for us to stop messing around,
- 59:53Speaker 9: to get serious now because we have a baby on
- 59:56Speaker 9: the way. So now you think, now you got some deal.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: So now you told him that he needs to tell
- 1:00:03Speaker 9: his wife for the baby born. And I know you
- 1:00:07Speaker 9: want the wife to know that you're pregnant by him,
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: because you think he gonna.
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: Leave her for you.
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: Yes, the biggest mistake you can make. I've told you
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: men don't do promotions. There is no man who had
- 1:00:24Speaker 9: a number two that caused him to lose his number
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: one and then he made the number two number one.
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: Ain't nobody fitting to do that. I don't know no
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: man who has ever had a.
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: Number two that caused him to lose his number one
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: and then made the number two the new number one.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: I ain't never seen it. I could be wrong, but
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: I ain't never seen it.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Brad Pitt.
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: Brad Pitt, Now, whoever wrote this letter ain't white or rich.
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: So let's you know, y'all quit anyway, tell his wife
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: before the baby b I want my child to know
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: his father and have a relationship with his father's two kids.
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: Oh so you really think y'all just a little family here.
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: You think y'all just Finn to be just all? Okay,
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: he already got two kids. I want my kids to
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: know you delusion them. When we found out it was pregnant,
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: he panic and asked me to terminate the pregnancy.
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: I refused to do so. When we found out it
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: was a boy, he was overjoyed.
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: Problem is, every time he's about to tell his wife,
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: some life changing event happens with her.
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: Okay, so let's go over this.
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: First time he tried to tell her, she had a
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: minor car wreck, had to wear neck brace for a month.
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: He said he ain't want to tell her why she
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: was in pain. Three weeks later, she got COVID nineteen
- 1:01:41Speaker 9: spent a couple of days in the hospital, so he
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: didn't want to tell it. In fast forward, last week,
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: he's supposed to tell in He said she passed out
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: at work, and the doctor says she.
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: May have had a mild stroke.
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: Ain't though, might have had no damn mistroke.
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: Listen to me, all of them.
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: This happened just because he got ready to tell her.
- 1:02:07Speaker 9: What do you think gonna happen when he do tell her?
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: Damn the car wreck, Damn the trip to the hospital
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: with COVID, and the hell way with this stroke. If
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: that's what happened when he fiting to tell her, what
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: you think gonna happen? When he tell this crazy ass
- 1:02:23Speaker 9: woman that you've been in her face for ten years
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: over their house, to playing with the kids and laughing
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: and talking, and you've been screwing her husband. WHOA what
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: do you think it's gonna happen? When this woman replay
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: all the moments in her mind about how she kind
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: of thought this, but you tricked and deceived her, and
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: how fool she been made out of and now you
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: pregnant with his baby.
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: Girl, girl, girl, your ass, it's in.
- 1:03:00Speaker 9: A world of trouble. So I guess you is making
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: time is but you ain't meal as time and his
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: wife and the beef on your ass, Yeah, that's what
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: I'm talking about and this.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Poor little baby there.
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: Now, get these bleeps right.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: I know we got that eight second delay on this show,
- 1:03:32Speaker 9: so there's plenty of time to bleep because the.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: Fine for what I just said. Oh man, that's dona
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: make me time.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: God said no more.
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:03:46Speaker 13: That is so.
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: But it's the letter caller, and this is I've been
- 1:03:49Speaker 9: waiting on this type of letter for twenty years. We've
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: been doing this show since two thousand and five, and
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: we're just not getting it.
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: Man, Thank you.
- 1:04:00Speaker 12: Man.
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: I don't want to kill the woman by telling her
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: about our baby on the way, but I'm tired of
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: all her problems. He could be lying to stall me out,
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: so I'm tempted to call her myself if he full
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: of BS or what Shirley said, it best the person
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: that's full of BS.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: And this letter is you. You tricking with this married
- 1:04:19Speaker 8: man in front of this woman for ten years.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: Year?

- 1:04:26Speaker 9: BS and everybody? Girl, you about to get what you
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: deserve because I got news for you when you tell

- 1:07:50Speaker 1: All right, We'll be back with more of the Steve
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, right after the visit. You're listening Steve
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. In today's office topic, here's a question.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Have you ever been told just be yourself, just for
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: yourself and you'll be fine and it ended up being
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: horrible advice for you? Maybe it was on a first date.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Maybe you were told to be yourself on your first
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: day of a new job. So, Steve, I gotta ask you,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: are there situations that you should avoid just being yourself?
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: When you were comfortable enough to just be yourself in
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: your relationship? Or when were you comfortable enough to be
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: just being in your relationship? Those are two different questions.
- 1:08:32Speaker 9: My first first gig on the radio in La, would
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: you the dude that gave me a job said, man,
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: just be yourself. Three days later they had surely we
- 1:08:46Speaker 9: have enough in here being hisself. We need to get
- 1:08:49Speaker 9: a radio person in here to control some of it.
- 1:08:52Speaker 9: We need surely get in.
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: You do a time dog. I didn't do time check.
- 1:08:58Speaker 8: Ye I never do. Sweat station you're listening to. If
- 1:09:02Speaker 8: you hear my voice, ain't you listening to the station?
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: You know what?
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: I got to come in and say this, Paul.
- 1:09:12Speaker 9: You have to say the call letters to let them
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: know But how's you hearing me say the call letters?
- 1:09:18Speaker 8: If your station ain't on this one.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Start, it's probably logical to you.
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: But it just ran checks and then and then and
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: then and then in la the traffic. I didn't understand
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: that it's rush hour, the four five.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: It's packed every damn date, every day.
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: Time two days.
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: Hey, we have to go to a commercial at eighteen after.
- 1:09:43Speaker 9: But I'm talking though. They put Shirley Strawberry on the radio.
- 1:09:50Speaker 9: And when I first met Shirley, I thought she was attractive,
- 1:09:53Speaker 9: but I didn't care for her because I said, you know,
- 1:09:58Speaker 9: trying to tell me what to do.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he didn't like me because he had nothing to
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: do with my hiring. They it's exactly true what he's saying.
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: No, they just put her in there. They ain't asked
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: me nothing. I looked at her.

- 1:17:53Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey. Step on up to
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: the mic for your clothing.
- 1:17:57Speaker 9: You know what, I just want to talk to you
- 1:18:00Speaker 9: all about something about other people as well as yourself.
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: I want you to realize something that you gotta just
- 1:18:11Speaker 9: hang in that, folks, You just gotta hang in that
- 1:18:15Speaker 9: because where you are is so very temporary. It matters
- 1:18:20Speaker 9: not where you are, It only matters where you headed.
- 1:18:23Speaker 9: You're going somewhere. Remember that everything you're going through is
- 1:18:27Speaker 9: God preparing you for what you ask for. But you're
- 1:18:31Speaker 9: in the process. You are in the midst of being processed.
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: All of us are. If you are trying to get
- 1:18:39Speaker 9: to the next level. You have to be processed into
- 1:18:43Speaker 9: that next level. You can't just go to the next level.
- 1:18:46Speaker 9: You can't go to the tenth grade without finishing the
- 1:18:49Speaker 9: ninth grade. You can't go to college without being there
- 1:18:52Speaker 9: with a high school diploma.
- 1:18:54Speaker 6: You can't.
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: You you gotta go through the.
- 1:19:02Speaker 12: You know.
- 1:19:03Speaker 9: So what I'm getting at is this, don't get down
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: on yourself because you're going through a period in your life,
- 1:19:13Speaker 9: and this period is kind of challenging for you, Like
- 1:19:16Speaker 9: it is right now.
- 1:19:17Speaker 8: There are a lot of people right.
- 1:19:19Speaker 9: Now going through some challenging moments in their life, and
- 1:19:22Speaker 9: it's getting to be a little bit daunting at times.
- 1:19:25Speaker 9: And you're starting to feel a little bit overwhelmed by
- 1:19:27Speaker 9: it all because you're sitting there and you're thinking, Man,
- 1:19:30Speaker 9: I done had enough of this, Lord, where you at?
- 1:19:34Speaker 9: I don't got to learn this lesson no moment. If
- 1:19:38Speaker 9: you could just come on, I got it, fix me,
- 1:19:41Speaker 9: rescue me, deliver me, give me the blessing that I've
- 1:19:45Speaker 9: been praying for. You keep asking, and then you start
- 1:19:49Speaker 9: to get a little defeated because it ain't happening in
- 1:19:51Speaker 9: your time that happens to you. Well, it happens to
- 1:19:56Speaker 9: other people too, and you gotta be careful how you
- 1:20:00Speaker 9: treat other people because they may not always be in
- 1:20:03Speaker 9: that position for long.
- 1:20:05Speaker 8: Do you know how many people I know who just
- 1:20:08Speaker 8: did me wrong when I was on the way coming up?
- 1:20:12Speaker 9: You have any idea the number of people who were
- 1:20:15Speaker 9: discouraging to me on my way up. They had no idea,
- 1:20:19Speaker 9: you know, not any people bad mouthed me, bad mouth
- 1:20:23Speaker 9: you on.
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: Your way up.
- 1:20:24Speaker 9: They don't have any idea who you really are. Do
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: you know how many people throwing dirt on you thinking
- 1:20:32Speaker 9: they bringing you home? They don't even realize what they do.
- 1:20:36Speaker 9: And they don't know because you know what they do.
- 1:20:39Speaker 9: It they judging me. They judging you based on a season.
- 1:20:48Speaker 9: They judging you based on a period that you're in. Now,
- 1:20:54Speaker 9: you gotta be careful when you're judging people because of
- 1:20:57Speaker 9: a period they're going through, because that period, it's just
- 1:21:00Speaker 9: the season.
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: This down moment that you haven't is just the season.
- 1:21:05Speaker 8: And just like the seasons changed, this too shall change.
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: Just like seasons passed, this too shall pass.
- 1:21:13Speaker 9: Somebody sent me something one day that said, never judge
- 1:21:18Speaker 9: somebody based on the season, and I started thinking about
- 1:21:23Speaker 9: it and they went on.
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: So I kept reading what they said, and they were
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: just talking about it. Man, it was so true.
- 1:21:30Speaker 9: They said one season David was a shepherd, but the
- 1:21:36Speaker 9: next season he was a king.
- 1:21:40Speaker 8: But you know how they played David on the way up.
- 1:21:44Speaker 15: Ah.
- 1:21:44Speaker 9: They wouldn't volunteer David for nothing, They wouldn't suggest David
- 1:21:48Speaker 9: for nothing. He was just a little shepherd boy. David
- 1:21:52Speaker 9: can't be the one to go down there and get
- 1:21:54Speaker 9: that giant. We ain't gonna bring David up. David went
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: from a shepherd to a king. One season, Ruth was
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: working in the field. The next season she was owning
- 1:22:08Speaker 9: the same field. It's just where a guy sitting. It's
- 1:22:13Speaker 9: just biblical, you know, stories that's out there that really
- 1:22:18Speaker 9: if you're a person of faith, it matters to you.
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: If you're not a person of faith, this is not
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: for you. But it's okay. I didn't know you was listening.
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: One season, Mordechaile was sitting outside the king's palace.
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: The next season he was inside the palace. We serve
- 1:22:39Speaker 8: a god.
- 1:22:41Speaker 9: That turns things around, and he is the god of
- 1:22:46Speaker 9: unmerited favor. We are all privy to his unmerited favor
- 1:22:56Speaker 9: because he passes it out to no particular person.
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: We have all.
- 1:23:03Speaker 9: Been privy to this unmerited favor. You know how many
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: of us can tell you something that happened to us
- 1:23:11Speaker 9: that we just can't explain.
- 1:23:13Speaker 8: That was favor.
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: You know, When it looked like the verdict was going
- 1:23:17Speaker 9: one way and it turned around and went another way.
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: That was fable. When it looked like you wasn't gonna
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: make it, but here you are now, that was fable.
- 1:23:25Speaker 9: When they wrote you off and said you was never
- 1:23:27Speaker 9: gonna be nothing, but it turned out to be something anyhow,
- 1:23:31Speaker 9: That was favor. When they laughed at you with your decision,
- 1:23:35Speaker 9: and now they looking at you at that same decision
- 1:23:38Speaker 9: they laughed at and they shaking their head.
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: That was favor.
- 1:23:43Speaker 9: When they tried to destroy you, when your enemies came
- 1:23:47Speaker 9: for you and they couldn't do nothing with you all
- 1:23:50Speaker 9: about you, that was favor God's unmerited faith. Quit tripping
- 1:23:56Speaker 9: about to seizing you in because you never know your
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: season could turn around tomorrow. But if you quit, you'll
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: never find out hanging to everybody, those are my clothes
- 1:24:07Speaker 9: of moms.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Drop the mic, drop it for all. Steve Harvey contests
