- 0:00Speaker 1: It was faith that strengthened the Minutemen and who stood
- 0:05Speaker 1: up at Lexington Green and Concord Bridge in Philadelphia two
- 0:09Speaker 1: hundred and fifty years ago. Our founders, the Creator four
- 0:12Speaker 1: times and the Declaration of Independence four times. I wasn't
- 0:16Speaker 1: mentioned once. I'm very upset. Not once.
- 0:21Speaker 2: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben ferguson.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Good Monday morning. Nice to have you with us on
- 0:26Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Updating, and we've got one big
- 0:29Speaker 3: story for you. Deportations. They are way up in twenty
- 0:33Speaker 3: twenty six, and the stats now show that within weeks
- 0:36Speaker 3: we will actually outpace the total number of deportations in
- 0:40Speaker 3: twenty twenty five. So how is this actually happening? The
- 0:44Speaker 3: man in charge of the Department of Own Security, he
- 0:47Speaker 3: explains it. All the sakes right now could not be higher.
- 0:51Speaker 3: We finally have a president and administration fighting hard for
- 0:54Speaker 3: America first. But if conservatives lose focus now, the same
- 0:58Speaker 3: people who created this mess were already in waiting to
- 1:01Speaker 3: resume their destructive progressive agendas. And protecting this momentum takes
- 1:06Speaker 3: more than just votes. It takes everyday Americans like you
- 1:09Speaker 3: staying in the fight for our rights and our freedoms.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And that's why more and more people I know are
- 1:16Speaker 3: switching to Patriot Mobile, America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Patriot Mobile offers premium priority nationwide service on all three
- 1:27Speaker 3: major US networks, unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and one hundred percent US based customer support. And you
- 1:37Speaker 3: can switch in minutes while keeping your phone and your number.
- 1:41Speaker 3: And I know it because when I made the switch,
- 1:43Speaker 3: it literally took me minutes to accomplish that goal. And
- 1:46Speaker 3: unlike other carriers, Patriot Mobile puts your money towards causes
- 1:51Speaker 3: defending faith, family, and freedom. That's why I love them.
- 1:55Speaker 3: They contribute literally millions each year to organizations on the
- 1:59Speaker 3: front lines fighting for God given rights. Patriot Mobile isn't
- 2:04Speaker 3: just talking about saving America. They're putting their business behind
- 2:08Speaker 3: the fight every single day. So don't wait, join the
- 2:12Speaker 3: movement and make a difference. Go to Patriot Mobile dot
- 2:16Speaker 3: com slash ben forty seven or call ninety seven two Patriot.
- 2:22Speaker 3: If you use the promo code ben forty seven, you'll
- 2:25Speaker 3: get a free month of service. That's Patriot Mobile dot
- 2:29Speaker 3: com slash ben forty seven or ninety seven to Patriot
- 2:33Speaker 3: and make that switch today. It's the forty seven Morning
- 2:36Speaker 3: Update and it starts right now.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Secretary and the man who's in charge of the Department
- 2:43Speaker 3: of Homeland Security, former Senator Mullen. It says at the
- 2:48Speaker 3: one hundred day mark, as the man in charge, the
- 2:51Speaker 3: Secretary of the Department Home in Security, the deportations are
- 2:55Speaker 3: way up. Twenty twenty six stats set to outpace. He says,
- 2:59Speaker 3: well paid passed the twenty twenty five numbers. That obviously
- 3:05Speaker 3: is good news if you are in favor of law
- 3:07Speaker 3: and order. Now, the Secretary of Homeland Security Mark Waynmullen
- 3:11Speaker 3: saying exclusively to Brightbart News the deportation numbers in twenty
- 3:15Speaker 3: twenty six will very soon outpace all of twenty twenty five. Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 3: look at your calendar. You can see that. You better
- 3:22Speaker 3: believe it. This is more than last year. Basically halfway
- 3:26Speaker 3: through the year. He also went on to say that
- 3:29Speaker 3: agents from across the Department of Homeland Security are removing
- 3:32Speaker 3: illegal aliens from the United States Interior at a record
- 3:36Speaker 3: rate we've never seen. Quote, we are on a path
- 3:39Speaker 3: this year twenty six to well pass what we did
- 3:42Speaker 3: in twenty five. I mean, our numbers are in fact
- 3:45Speaker 3: within I'd say probably within the next six weeks, will
- 3:49Speaker 3: probably pass what we deported in all of twenty twenty five.
- 3:54Speaker 3: What we're going to do in twenty twenty six, maybe
- 3:58Speaker 3: two months, I think will definitely do it within two months,
- 4:01Speaker 3: but should well probably be six weeks at the current rate.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Now this is incredible. As for how the DHS is
- 4:08Speaker 3: accomplishing this, Mullen said, is by focusing on those who
- 4:12Speaker 3: have criminal records or final orders of deportation from judges,
- 4:17Speaker 3: and oftentimes, he said, the federal agents will find several
- 4:20Speaker 3: other illegal aliens being harbored in the same homes and
- 4:24Speaker 3: they arrest them and deport them too. So what we're
- 4:29Speaker 3: what we're going to do, and what we're doing is
- 4:31Speaker 3: we're looking at the worst of the worst, Mullen said.
- 4:34Speaker 3: We're going after people that have already had final orders,
- 4:38Speaker 3: meaning they've already had final orders from a judge that says, hey,
- 4:43Speaker 3: you got to go. You've already went through the appeal
- 4:45Speaker 3: process and you didn't show up for your last court appearance,
- 4:49Speaker 3: so you've got to go. We're going after people that
- 4:52Speaker 3: have felonies, that have active felonies on them. We're going
- 4:56Speaker 3: after individuals that have been released from state penitentiaries and
- 5:02Speaker 3: that had already served their time, but they're still in
- 5:05Speaker 3: the country illegally. So now we're getting a warn out
- 5:09Speaker 3: for their rest because they're no longer allowed to stay
- 5:12Speaker 3: inside the country because they violated either their parole or
- 5:16Speaker 3: they violated their agreement with the United States by allowing
- 5:19Speaker 3: them to come in through the visa program. And then
- 5:22Speaker 3: we're going after the individuals that have claimed asylum cases.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And asylum cases are the ones they said that they
- 5:28Speaker 3: need asylum because they're not because they're scared of their
- 5:32Speaker 3: own country. Now the case went in front of a judge,
- 5:36Speaker 3: a judge says, no, you don't comply, or they just
- 5:39Speaker 3: flat out didn't show up. When you're going after these individuals,
- 5:43Speaker 3: we have warrants for them, we're serving them when we
- 5:46Speaker 3: find them. Very seldom are they ever by themselves. In fact,
- 5:51Speaker 3: usually there are three or four other occupants individuals with
- 5:56Speaker 3: them that are also illegal. So we're picking up the
- 5:59Speaker 3: one and we run into them having three or four others.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Actually it's just an average of over four with them
- 6:06Speaker 3: at the same time, and we arrest those individuals too.
- 6:10Speaker 3: So our rest are on track, our deportations are way up,
- 6:14Speaker 3: and we're going to continue to go after the worst
- 6:17Speaker 3: of the worst. That's our focus. We're trying to get
- 6:19Speaker 3: the criminals off the streets now. Mullen's interview came just
- 6:24Speaker 3: ahead of his hundred day mark as the Secretary of
- 6:26Speaker 3: Homeland Security that is happening on Thursday. He was thrown
- 6:30Speaker 3: into the job after President Donald Trump reassigned the now
- 6:35Speaker 3: former Secretary Chrissy Nome to focus on Latin American affairs. Mullen,
- 6:39Speaker 3: a former US Center had a quick confirmation for the
- 6:42Speaker 3: job from the US Senate and started earlier the spring.
- 6:45Speaker 3: A previously published portion of that interview on Mullen's efforts
- 6:50Speaker 3: to also secure the World Cup soccer tournament, and there's
- 6:53Speaker 3: a deeper interview, and it was talking about how he
- 6:56Speaker 3: was going to specifically deal with immigration enforcement matter. He said, quote,
- 7:01Speaker 3: I still love it. I still every single day I
- 7:03Speaker 3: walk in I think I'm still the luckiest man in
- 7:05Speaker 3: the world, referring to what it's been like in the
- 7:08Speaker 3: first hundred days looming. I wouldn't trade my position with anybody,
- 7:12Speaker 3: not another Cabinet member. I really legitimately enjoy it. I
- 7:16Speaker 3: get to protect the homeland.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Right.
- 7:17Speaker 3: It's a mission that every day that works works well
- 7:22Speaker 3: that you can get behind it as you describe it now.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Mullins also explained how wide ranging the mandate at DHS
- 7:29Speaker 3: really is and how the department has twenty two different components,
- 7:33Speaker 3: all focused on all sorts of security and law enforcement.
- 7:37Speaker 3: He said, quote, so yes, we have twenty two components.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Every one of those twenty two components has come has
- 7:43Speaker 3: had some aspect of well protecting our interests, our homelan,
- 7:47Speaker 3: not just the lower forty eight, but all of us,
- 7:50Speaker 3: all the Americans, and so we get the special privilege
- 7:54Speaker 3: of protecting my own backyard and yours, regardless if you
- 7:58Speaker 3: agree with me or you don't agree with me. So
- 8:01Speaker 3: every day we're also looking to prove that there are
- 8:04Speaker 3: some changes that need to be made, and we're working
- 8:06Speaker 3: on those changes. There are definitely improvements. Every single day
- 8:11Speaker 3: we get in here and say how can we do
- 8:13Speaker 3: it better? Every single day we prevent something from taking place.
- 8:18Speaker 3: We work with all of all the other secretaries. There's
- 8:22Speaker 3: not another agency or cabinet position that works across the board.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Because we have twenty two components. We work with the
- 8:28Speaker 3: State Department, We work with the DOW, we work with
- 8:31Speaker 3: a DOJ, we work with the EPA, we work with Agriculture,
- 8:35Speaker 3: we work with Commerce and Treasury, and the list goes on.
- 8:39Speaker 3: So you're never bored, You're never running out of things
- 8:41Speaker 3: to do. I mean this when I say it, I
- 8:44Speaker 3: don't think I've slept in one hundred days, but I
- 8:46Speaker 3: don't think the President has slept in eighty years because
- 8:48Speaker 3: that guy never stops. And so getting to work with
- 8:51Speaker 3: him on a daily basis has been amazing. Ever since
- 8:54Speaker 3: I was a kid, I had mentors in my life, right, somebody,
- 8:58Speaker 3: somebody that's achieved something that was setting an example that
- 9:01Speaker 3: I wanted to get to. So my dad had a
- 9:04Speaker 3: ridiculous work ethic and completely honest. I mean, one thing
- 9:07Speaker 3: you didn't do is you never lied to your dad.
- 9:11Speaker 3: The second thing you never did is you never told
- 9:14Speaker 3: Dad you couldn't because he didn't allow excuses. Then I
- 9:17Speaker 3: had a football coach, Bill Scott, that was an amazing
- 9:20Speaker 3: mentor of mine sports and dedication education. And then when
- 9:24Speaker 3: I got into got into business, I had a guy
- 9:27Speaker 3: named Daryl Baskins that really showed me. Advertising a guy
- 9:30Speaker 3: named Amos that showed me how to actually structure your bills.
- 9:33Speaker 3: I know that sounds funny, but I was young. But
- 9:37Speaker 3: how do you do the payback? How do you pay
- 9:40Speaker 3: the bills and structure it in a form to which
- 9:43Speaker 3: then can allow you to invest and set your accounts
- 9:46Speaker 3: with a way that they need to be set up.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Then I got into politics. I had Kevin McCarthy, who
- 9:51Speaker 3: was at the time the whip, who took me under
- 9:53Speaker 3: his wing. When I got the Senate, I had John
- 9:56Speaker 3: Thune that took me underneath his wing. And now I
- 9:59Speaker 3: have President t which is amazing. Right, There's no one
- 10:03Speaker 3: with a better work ethic. There's no one that manages
- 10:06Speaker 3: an able to recruit talent like President Trump can and
- 10:09Speaker 3: get people to believe in his vision. So in this position,
- 10:12Speaker 3: I feel like I'm still growing. In one hundred days,
- 10:16Speaker 3: I felt like I honestly, when I heard it was
- 10:18Speaker 3: one hundred days, when we were walking in about every
- 10:21Speaker 3: ready to do the interview, I thought, wait, it feels
- 10:24Speaker 3: like it's just been a few weeks.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Now.
- 10:27Speaker 3: This is pretty incredible that the man who's just been
- 10:30Speaker 3: there for one hundred days has already gotten so much done. Now,
- 10:34Speaker 3: Mullens has been very active, by the way, in his
- 10:37Speaker 3: new role. He got in a heated altercation with Democrats
- 10:41Speaker 3: like Representative Rosa Delaro from Connecticut during a congressional hearing
- 10:45Speaker 3: on Capitol Hill. He fought was seen as Jake Tapper
- 10:48Speaker 3: on live television. But again this interview that he did
- 10:51Speaker 3: with Breitbart, he wanted to make it clear that his
- 10:55Speaker 3: main focus. One of the biggest things he's trying to
- 10:57Speaker 3: do at DHS is expand more local and state law
- 11:01Speaker 3: enforcement departments into joining the two eighty seven grams G
- 11:06Speaker 3: program with federal government. He said that two eighty seven
- 11:10Speaker 3: G program says, hey, if you'll help us, just simply
- 11:14Speaker 3: hold the individual when you pull them. I don't need
- 11:17Speaker 3: you to do immigration enforcement. Because you're out there and
- 11:20Speaker 3: you're in the streets, you're in the community. You're going
- 11:23Speaker 3: to run into them anyway, Mullen said, noting that state
- 11:26Speaker 3: and local police departments as well as sheriff's departments nationwide
- 11:31Speaker 3: regularly encounter illegal aliens. If you can just join the
- 11:34Speaker 3: two eighty seven G program, then you can make the
- 11:37Speaker 3: arrests right there on the spot. Mullen said. Cops nationwide
- 11:43Speaker 3: regularly encounter illegal aliens in the course of law enforcement activities,
- 11:46Speaker 3: and by working with federal authorities, they can ease immigration
- 11:50Speaker 3: enforcement significantly. Say they pull over a trap at traffic stop,
- 11:54Speaker 3: or public disturbance or public intoxication, or they just bust
- 11:58Speaker 3: the house because they're serving a warrant and they're some
- 12:00Speaker 3: illegals there. There's a legal activity at a business, just
- 12:03Speaker 3: anything in the day to day operations. There isn't anybody
- 12:06Speaker 3: that touch the public more than the sheriff's department and
- 12:08Speaker 3: local PD and state police right the state police. So
- 12:13Speaker 3: when they're part of the two to eighty seven program,
- 12:16Speaker 3: they can partner with us. And guess what, when they
- 12:18Speaker 3: partner with us, we reimburse. We'll reimburse you for equipment,
- 12:22Speaker 3: we reimburse the time of the officer. You can actually
- 12:26Speaker 3: well you want to help your apartment, you want to
- 12:28Speaker 3: help serve warrants, We'll actually pay for those officers full
- 12:31Speaker 3: salary for you to go through. In small municipalities and
- 12:35Speaker 3: smaller states, they can add officers because they can buy
- 12:38Speaker 3: new equipment, they can buy drones, they can buy vehicles,
- 12:41Speaker 3: and we help them because we've got a huge influx
- 12:44Speaker 3: of illegals that are in this country and some of them, yes,
- 12:46Speaker 3: some of them want to work. But seventy percent of
- 12:49Speaker 3: the individuals we arrest on a daily basis with Immigration
- 12:53Speaker 3: enforcement have either pending felony charges or they've already had
- 12:57Speaker 3: felony charges. And a huge percent of those have been
- 13:00Speaker 3: released already from sanctuary cities and sanctuary states. So just
- 13:05Speaker 3: one hundred days in, it's very clear a man in
- 13:08Speaker 3: charge of DHS is saying we're just getting started, and
- 13:12Speaker 3: he guarantees you this, They're not backing down anytime soon.
