- 2:14Speaker 1: a radio show because God is in a forgiving business,
- 2:18Speaker 1: got a radio show because God to let you turn
- 2:20Speaker 1: your life around. Business. Got a radio show because God
- 2:24Speaker 1: no better than you know. Yeah, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:28Speaker 1: radio show. Didn't see it coming, but he did. I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: gonna share with you today a principle of success. You know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's it's important that we get our lives together. I
- 2:42Speaker 1: mean it really really is. You know. To hear after
- 2:44Speaker 1: is exactly what it says, is to hear after, and
- 2:48Speaker 1: hopefully for the majority of us, that's quite a way.
- 2:51Speaker 1: He's off So what about how you living today? How
- 2:56Speaker 1: about now? You know often talk to you talk talk
- 3:00Speaker 1: in the morning about your relationship with God that can
- 3:03Speaker 1: never change. That is at the forefront and the best
- 3:09Speaker 1: thought process that I can give you. And I know
- 3:12Speaker 1: who I'm talking to on the radio. I'm talking to
- 3:14Speaker 1: a lot of people, man, who out there just not sure.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And I'm talking to a lot of people out there
- 3:21Speaker 1: man that's trying to pull it together. In other words,
- 3:25Speaker 1: you know, I'm talking to a lot of people like myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: There is a principle of success that is out there
- 3:32Speaker 1: that if more people understood one of the bait, this
- 3:34Speaker 1: is just one of one of the basic principles of success,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you would have more success in your life. And that
- 3:40Speaker 1: principle is this, the more people you help become successful,
- 3:46Speaker 1: the more successful you become. Well, the more people you
- 3:51Speaker 1: help become successful, the more successful you become. Because you
- 3:56Speaker 1: are a practicing helping your and as you do onto
- 4:00Speaker 1: others than it's done unto you. You know, you you
- 4:05Speaker 1: build relationships. When you do that, people forget in success,
- 4:10Speaker 1: that has to be relationships. There is no one person
- 4:13Speaker 1: in this world who is just successful all on their own.
- 4:17Speaker 1: You are successful and successful people form relationships, and you've
- 4:23Speaker 1: got to really coddle these relationships. You've got to nurture
- 4:27Speaker 1: these relationships. They don't just happen. You don't just get
- 4:32Speaker 1: cool with people just cause you cool. No, you've got
- 4:36Speaker 1: to do some cool things to these people and for
- 4:38Speaker 1: these people, for these people to be cool with you
- 4:41Speaker 1: when you need some cool. I don't know if I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: explaining that right, but that's the best way I can
- 4:46Speaker 1: tell it to you. I'm just regular, you know, I
- 4:48Speaker 1: I just speak like that. This is an important principle
- 4:53Speaker 1: to put into your life. The more people you help
- 4:56Speaker 1: become successful, the more successful you become. You cannot look.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You have to say to people, hey, look, I've done that.
- 5:04Speaker 1: This is what you got to do. You got to
- 5:06Speaker 1: take some time out to share. You have to share information, experiences, thoughts.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You got to take a minute man to uplift somebody,
- 5:16Speaker 1: give them some encouragement. Hey man, you can do it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Don't give up. You have no idea. You you you
- 5:25Speaker 1: right now. You have no idea how significant you are
- 5:30Speaker 1: to someone else, how your words of encouragement could be
- 5:34Speaker 1: the difference maker. Today I'm talking about it's a person
- 5:38Speaker 1: looking at you that you don't even really know you,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you don't really know them, and you see them struggling
- 5:42Speaker 1: with something, just say, hey, you know what, I've been
- 5:44Speaker 1: watching you from afar. You're gonna be all right, man,
- 5:47Speaker 1: I see something. Men. You keep doing the right thing. Man,
- 5:50Speaker 1: You're gonna be all right. I had a meeting with
- 5:54Speaker 1: a young man for the first time. And this young
- 5:57Speaker 1: man came into my office. I never met him. He
- 6:01Speaker 1: has an internet service, which anybody can teach me something
- 6:05Speaker 1: about the Internet because I know little too close to nothing.
- 6:09Speaker 1: He was twenty seven years old, and he was amazingly
- 6:14Speaker 1: bright at this and I guess you know that it's
- 6:18Speaker 1: not that hard to impress me. But the fluid speech
- 6:23Speaker 1: pattern that he had about this very very difficult subject.
- 6:26Speaker 1: He was tossing around the terms I had heard, but
- 6:29Speaker 1: he was actually putting him in sentences where it made
- 6:31Speaker 1: sense to me. It's very fluid, very very sure of
- 6:35Speaker 1: himself when he was talking about this little things, young dude,
- 6:39Speaker 1: twenty seven years old. And when he got through, the
- 6:43Speaker 1: woman that had introduced me to him, I was leaving
- 6:46Speaker 1: my office and she was going to escort him out,
- 6:49Speaker 1: and I turned around and I said, young man, I said,
- 6:52Speaker 1: what what size pants are you? And I guessed it
- 6:55Speaker 1: because I'm I've been dressing for long. I've been all
- 6:59Speaker 1: the sizes. And I said, you bout a thirty ways?
- 7:01Speaker 1: He said, yes, sir. I said what side shoot you
- 7:03Speaker 1: ways at nine and a half? I said, what side
- 7:06Speaker 1: shirt is? At a medium? He said, I really like
- 7:09Speaker 1: extra lodge. I said, well that's too big for you.
- 7:12Speaker 1: You just want to look lousy and bagging. And so
- 7:16Speaker 1: I was talking to him and I said, man, I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: gonna help you out. I said, man, because let me
- 7:20Speaker 1: tell you something. You're a sharp young dude. Man. You
- 7:24Speaker 1: are raised a shop. I say, you've really really impressed
- 7:27Speaker 1: me today. I said, and you know what, young brother,
- 7:30Speaker 1: I said, You're gonna make a lot of money one day. Man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I said, but I want you to get your image up.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I want you to I want you to look at
- 7:37Speaker 1: how you dress because you're coming into professional people's office
- 7:41Speaker 1: and you're talking about doing something for them and it
- 7:44Speaker 1: and it takes money to make it happen. I gotta
- 7:45Speaker 1: give you money to make this happen. What you cannot
- 7:48Speaker 1: afford to do is look like you need every dime
- 7:51Speaker 1: of this money. See you, you get when you're going
- 7:54Speaker 1: there and you're talking about money with another person, the
- 7:58Speaker 1: person that's gonna give you this money. Can you can't
- 8:00Speaker 1: look like you need every dime of this money, you know,
- 8:03Speaker 1: So you gotta start presenting yourself. And that's all I
- 8:07Speaker 1: just said to him. And I just said, man, but
- 8:08Speaker 1: you know what you shock, You're gonna make yourself some money.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you out a little bit. I walked out.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I went on about my business. Later on that afternoon,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I had a meeting with the woman that bought him
- 8:17Speaker 1: in and she said, mister Harvey, you have no idea
- 8:20Speaker 1: what you just did. He said, his eyes just teared
- 8:23Speaker 1: up when you walked out. He said, wow, man, that
- 8:26Speaker 1: man don't even know me, and he just encouraged me.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He's a man always thought I might could make it,
- 8:32Speaker 1: but he said, I ain't. Never had nobody like him
- 8:35Speaker 1: tell me I could make it. And just hearing it
- 8:38Speaker 1: from him, man, that's all right. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 8:41Speaker 1: get my clothes together. But you know, I've been homeless.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And then he started telling the woman that he had
- 8:47Speaker 1: been homeless, and so you know, then she telling me
- 8:50Speaker 1: that now I'm fitting cryckers you know, I've been in
- 8:53Speaker 1: that hole before, and I just and I'm just sharing
- 8:55Speaker 1: that story. What y'all just to say. You don't know
- 8:59Speaker 1: who you talking too, but what does it hurt if
- 9:02Speaker 1: you just extend your hand to a person and give
- 9:05Speaker 1: them a moment of encouragement. See this young brother right here,
- 9:10Speaker 1: he could come back one day and be a major
- 9:13Speaker 1: benefit to me because he has a skill set that
- 9:16Speaker 1: I don't have. Oh. I might be old, mister Steve Harvey,
- 9:20Speaker 1: but hey, guess what, I don't know nothing about what
- 9:23Speaker 1: this young cat know and either went off and educated himself,
- 9:26Speaker 1: and just a word of encouragement from somebody like yourself
- 9:31Speaker 1: can make all the difference in another person's life. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: remember on your way to the top. The more people
- 9:39Speaker 1: that you help become successful, the more successful you become.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It's a requirement of God that you do that. That
- 9:47Speaker 1: ain't Steve Harvey talking. If you read your Bible. Somebody
- 9:50Speaker 1: got a Bible verse that backed me up, Email it
- 9:52Speaker 1: to me today if you know what it is. I
- 9:54Speaker 1: don't know, but y'all do out there all right, you're
- 9:57Speaker 1: listening morning shout, ladies and gentlemen. It is about to

- 12:09Speaker 1: let us have it. Steve Harker just like so old ass,
- 12:14Speaker 1: hard ass singing. That's the lounge singer that never made
- 12:17Speaker 1: it because he wasn't quite on the notes. But you
- 12:20Speaker 1: couldn't tell him that. Yeah, but he had all the
- 12:25Speaker 1: Hollywood singer moves. Man, I would have had Roscoe Wallace
- 12:29Speaker 1: making the piss man Colin Farrell your favorite Roscoe Wallace. Yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: what's up hard singing, Hay Steve, what's up? Crew? Ain't
- 12:37Speaker 1: nothing with it, Junior. I'll just be seeing you in
- 12:40Speaker 1: concert doing that whole thing though. That's what I'd be
- 12:43Speaker 1: wanting that you don't understand. I was bad dog. I
- 12:46Speaker 1: saw Teddy laugh, I saw how Player Live. Y'all missed concerts.
- 12:53Speaker 1: That was real concerts. And the dudes actually sound just
- 12:58Speaker 1: like the record, like Luther What, no day of remixes, remix,
- 13:07Speaker 1: no your remix hits, scaraned Tie, just random scarned TI.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I like when he just blurts him out of nowhere.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You're all bad bad missas. Yeah in them skinned type,
- 13:24Speaker 1: hang on, Sugarfoot, coming up at thirty two minutes, just
- 13:28Speaker 1: gonna say good morning, Sin say nobody say good morning.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Skinned time over coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:39Speaker 1: the hour, asked the CLO, the chief love officer in
- 13:42Speaker 1: the building. Right after this, you're listening morning show. Check
- 13:49Speaker 1: this out, guys. We're gonna go rogue right now. CLLO

- 13:56Speaker 1: Rogue the Nissan Rogue is a spicy car for spicy people,
- 14:00Speaker 1: and our listeners that submit these questions are very very spicy,
- 14:04Speaker 1: and I have that good old rogue attitude and that's
- 14:07Speaker 1: what we love. Okay, Steve the cello We have some
- 14:12Speaker 1: good questions from Steve harveysm dot com. If you have
- 14:15Speaker 1: some questions for the clo, please please please feel free
- 14:19Speaker 1: to write us. This one is from Jess in Hollywood, Florida.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Steve and says, my boyfriend and I are in our
- 14:26Speaker 1: mid twenties and sometimes he is not able to perform
- 14:30Speaker 1: unless he watches poor and first last night we were
- 14:34Speaker 1: being intimate and he was really into it. Then he
- 14:37Speaker 1: called me his ex girlfriend's name. I didn't say anything
- 14:41Speaker 1: because I didn't want him to stop. It was his
- 14:43Speaker 1: best for performance so far. Apparently thinking about his ex
- 14:47Speaker 1: girlfriend kept him in the mood. Do you think he
- 14:50Speaker 1: secretly still wants his ex or is this just something
- 14:53Speaker 1: that happens from time to time. Well, I got a
- 14:57Speaker 1: couple of ideas here from you say that he only
- 15:00Speaker 1: gets excited unless he's watching pawn in your twenties. That's dangerous.
- 15:07Speaker 1: That's dangerous because I don't even I very rarely hear
- 15:10Speaker 1: that from a guy that young. Very rarely do I
- 15:14Speaker 1: hear that, So that's kind of that's kind of odd,
- 15:17Speaker 1: right there, him calling and he only gets excited. Now
- 15:21Speaker 1: you're having your best performance, and all of a sudden
- 15:24Speaker 1: he calls his ex girlfriend his name. Now the question
- 15:29Speaker 1: you need to find out is his ex girlfriend a
- 15:32Speaker 1: pawn star has possibility written all over it. Maybe she
- 15:45Speaker 1: and one of them movies that getting real excited. Other
- 15:50Speaker 1: than that, I don't know how long you all have
- 15:53Speaker 1: been dating, and I don't know how long you can
- 15:55Speaker 1: continue to accept being called the other girl's name that ain't.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I don't know how long that's allowable. But I think
- 16:05Speaker 1: you should have bought it to his attention so that
- 16:08Speaker 1: he is aware of it and he can start working
- 16:11Speaker 1: on it if it's serious. But I don't think y'all's
- 16:13Speaker 1: relationship is gonna go nowhere, because if you got to
- 16:17Speaker 1: have Pointo to turn you on at in your twenties,
- 16:21Speaker 1: the rest of your sex years is shot man, damn dog,
- 16:27Speaker 1: because in my twenties I needed nothing. I just knock
- 16:30Speaker 1: it cool. Al yeah, if if just ready just walking around,
- 16:36Speaker 1: ready the wind blow either one of these that right
- 16:40Speaker 1: there hot. This right here, hot don't matter. I could
- 16:48Speaker 1: I could in my twenty Okay from Tony in New Jersey.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I have a problem with my lady. Friend. I'm a bodybuilder,
- 17:00Speaker 1: and I get a lot of women trying to holler
- 17:03Speaker 1: at me, at my d and my DMS, and they
- 17:05Speaker 1: send lots of nude pictures. I'll show my lady the
- 17:08Speaker 1: pigs and we laugh at them together. I found out
- 17:12Speaker 1: the other day that my lady also gets nude pictures
- 17:15Speaker 1: of men and her DMS. She clicked on a message
- 17:19Speaker 1: by mistake and I saw the picture of a naked man.
- 17:21Speaker 1: She has never mentioned this to me. She said. She
- 17:25Speaker 1: hates the pics and she immediately deletes them. But why
- 17:27Speaker 1: does she keep it from me? Should I be concerned? Well?
- 17:31Speaker 1: You know what, dog, See Hold up now, when you
- 17:34Speaker 1: showing naked pictures, y'all laughing? You know? So? Now all
- 17:39Speaker 1: of a sudden, this ain't funny to you no more, See, dog,
- 17:43Speaker 1: you got to be careful what you introduce. I don't
- 17:45Speaker 1: know what your ass is showing your girl naked pictures
- 17:49Speaker 1: of other women fault. I really don't know, man. I'm
- 17:52Speaker 1: confused about that. Normally that you're you're inviting a hailstorm
- 17:58Speaker 1: into your house when you do that. So I don't
- 18:00Speaker 1: know what that was. But then she gets me and
- 18:03Speaker 1: sending her neked pictures too, But she ain't mentioned it
- 18:07Speaker 1: to you because guess why, because she know, look at
- 18:11Speaker 1: you didn't wrote a letter. See you see a picture
- 18:14Speaker 1: you're asked to wrote her letter? Y'all watching age? You
- 18:17Speaker 1: just keep kid, yeah, see Pardner. So she already know
- 18:21Speaker 1: it's a problem. And the bodybuilder come on, man, come on,
- 18:27Speaker 1: all right, yeah, it's it's it's it's it's not a
- 18:30Speaker 1: problem that she might be messing around. But maybe she
- 18:33Speaker 1: just didn't feel like dealing with this because you don't
- 18:35Speaker 1: wrote a letter into a national radio show. You show
- 18:39Speaker 1: her pictures, y'all just laugh. Anonymous in Tennessee writes, I've
- 18:43Speaker 1: been married for five years and my mother lives with us.
- 18:47Speaker 1: I'm a diabetic and I've been sick a lot lately,
- 18:50Speaker 1: so my mother has assumed the role as my full
- 18:52Speaker 1: time nurse and caregiver. This drives my wife crazy. My
- 18:57Speaker 1: mother told my wife that she's been taking care of
- 18:59Speaker 1: me all my life and it's not up for debate.
- 19:02Speaker 1: My wife isn't having it, and their constant arguing stresses
- 19:06Speaker 1: me out. My wife works long hours, and my mom
- 19:09Speaker 1: is here when my wife can't be so in a way,
- 19:12Speaker 1: my mom is right. I'm stuck in the middle. Please help. No, no, no, no,
- 19:18Speaker 1: Your mom isn't right. No, she's not right right. Your
- 19:22Speaker 1: wife is the queen of the castle that can There's
- 19:25Speaker 1: only one queen in the castle. It might be some damsels,
- 19:29Speaker 1: it might be some some some other people at work,
- 19:32Speaker 1: but it's one queen, and your wife is being rooted
- 19:36Speaker 1: out by your mother, who's obviously taking some liberties with
- 19:41Speaker 1: you that your wife would like to be able to do.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Now the fact that you're sick, Brod can't do nothing
- 19:47Speaker 1: about that. Feel for you. Uh, you know, I don't
- 19:50Speaker 1: know what you're supposed to say that somebody would diabetes.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't know. You don't seeing conduce. Okay, well you know,
- 20:00Speaker 1: I don't know what you say to people got diabetes.
- 20:02Speaker 1: I don't know what to say, no condolences. I don't
- 20:08Speaker 1: know what to say to him about the sickness. But
- 20:13Speaker 1: your mother is not. She may have been taken care
- 20:16Speaker 1: of you your whole life, but this your wife. Dog
- 20:19Speaker 1: See you said viles to your wife. Now if your
- 20:22Speaker 1: mother's there because you can't provide for yourself. I don't
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but she lives with
- 20:30Speaker 1: y'all and it's creating a problem. She didn't marry you
- 20:33Speaker 1: to live with your mama. Now. I don't know how
- 20:36Speaker 1: sick you are, dog, but if your mother just over
- 20:40Speaker 1: there because she won't just keep eye on you and
- 20:41Speaker 1: check on you, then you got to change your living arrangements. Now,
- 20:44Speaker 1: if you incapacitated in some way, then your wife gonna
- 20:48Speaker 1: had to work with your mama a little bit better.
- 20:50Speaker 1: But your mama gonna had to back up and let
- 20:53Speaker 1: your wife be the queen of the castle. Your wife
- 20:55Speaker 1: is mama's wife and dog, now, you don't speak with
- 20:59Speaker 1: your mama, So you're gonna mess around here that in
- 21:04Speaker 1: a minute. Yeah, yeah, we're going there and sleep with
- 21:09Speaker 1: your mammy. You're gonna here that all right? Coming up
- 21:12Speaker 1: next to nephew in the building. We've run that frank
- 21:15Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:21Speaker 1: It's time for the nephew to run that frank back
- 21:23Speaker 1: right now. Oh well, you know, first of all, the
- 21:25Speaker 1: time to go road with today's prank phone calls one
- 21:29Speaker 1: nice saw the road. It's built for a Benu with
- 21:31Speaker 1: five different drive modes that can take you anywhere. So
- 21:35Speaker 1: let's go row. I'm gonna give y'all a little quick
- 21:37Speaker 1: road store. Just about three years ago, got a text.
- 21:41Speaker 1: I hit a link on the text. I opened it
- 21:44Speaker 1: up and it tells me how you know this? This
- 21:47Speaker 1: came from Will Packer And he lets me know how
- 21:49Speaker 1: he didn't. You know, he got all these shows from

- 46:34Speaker 1: came out and you I think you were here on Friday. Uh,
- 46:38Speaker 1: and you came out and purchased four flat screen televisions
- 46:42Speaker 1: forty forty two inches? Am I correct? Yeah? But what fun?
- 46:47Speaker 1: What I was giving you a call for, Sharon, is
- 46:49Speaker 1: that we got a bit of a problem. Now when
- 46:51Speaker 1: you purchase these actual flat creen televisions on on Black Friday,

- 47:01Speaker 1: your your purchase went through successfully, I will admit that,
- 47:04Speaker 1: but there should have been a red flag that have
- 47:06Speaker 1: gone up because we're going back over transactions of the
- 47:10Speaker 1: past two three days here and we're realizing that your
- 47:14Speaker 1: purchase should not have been successful. It should have been
- 47:17Speaker 1: for your credit card is actually not valid at all

- 47:35Speaker 1: to you and give you a call and see if
- 47:37Speaker 1: we could probably you know, it was. It was valid
- 47:41Speaker 1: when I was at their radis because it went through
- 47:43Speaker 1: I gotta receipt everything I am pured to that extended
- 47:46Speaker 1: warranty on all poem, so it was valid on Friday.
- 47:49Speaker 1: I don't know what's wrong with it today, but it
- 47:51Speaker 1: was good then, and I understand that. I understand that that,
- 47:55Speaker 1: you know, just being at the register and you purchasing
- 47:57Speaker 1: in and no problems at all happening. That's pretty as
- 48:00Speaker 1: a thought process that you're gonna have. What I'm letting
- 48:02Speaker 1: you know is on the on the back part of
- 48:04Speaker 1: it when you came into the store. What we're getting
- 48:07Speaker 1: the day the day after is that it was pretty
- 48:10Speaker 1: much invalid. It wasn't good at all. Your credit card
- 48:13Speaker 1: was not good at all. But you need to call
- 48:15Speaker 1: your bank then, because I don't know what to tell you.
- 48:18Speaker 1: You know, I had the money and there the day
- 48:21Speaker 1: I went about them, and that's it for me. So
- 48:24Speaker 1: I don't know who you need to call. But don't
- 48:26Speaker 1: call me because you know they ain't bringing my problem. Okay,
- 48:29Speaker 1: you know what I'm not gonna I'm not gonna raise
- 48:31Speaker 1: this to be a major problem. We're gonna try to
- 48:33Speaker 1: rectify it and get it taken care of. Yeah, do
- 48:35Speaker 1: what you need to do. Okay, listen, Now here's what
- 48:38Speaker 1: we're gonna do. You know what. I wanted to try
- 48:41Speaker 1: to work this out as smoothly as we can. What
- 48:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to ask you to do. Can I
- 48:45Speaker 1: get you to come back up to the store and
- 48:48Speaker 1: bring all four televisions with you? No? Oh, now you
- 48:52Speaker 1: sure can't. Baby. Look, I bought them for TVs. I

- 49:03Speaker 1: was watching movies, so it didn't really. Ain't no way
- 49:05Speaker 1: we're gonna bring the folk TVs back. I think you
- 49:07Speaker 1: should go back to Wealth, process your credit cards and
- 49:10Speaker 1: tell them that they that I don't know what you're
- 49:13Speaker 1: gonna tell them, but you need to go back to them.
- 49:15Speaker 1: I ain't got time to be running back and forth
- 49:17Speaker 1: to this store. I don't want to. I don't want
- 49:18Speaker 1: us to create a problem here. I don't want to
- 49:21Speaker 1: do that happen that. You need to lower your voice. Okay,
- 49:24Speaker 1: but you need to go back to wherever do your

- 53:54Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you, nephew. Subject. I
- 53:58Speaker 1: need him to go a little bit longer, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:02Speaker 1: My husband is a great provider, and what I love
- 54:06Speaker 1: most about him is the way he loves the Lord.
- 54:09Speaker 1: We dated for three years before we got married, and
- 54:12Speaker 1: we've been married for two months. I love him dearly,
- 54:16Speaker 1: but we have a problem in the bedroom. When we
- 54:20Speaker 1: make love, it's usually a ten to fifteen minute session.
- 54:24Speaker 1: We do the pregame stuff and it's wonderful. I hook
- 54:28Speaker 1: him up and he hooks me up before we get started,
- 54:31Speaker 1: but when it comes to getting it on, he is
- 54:33Speaker 1: done way too soon. I have a problem with him
- 54:37Speaker 1: finishing too fast and not making sure I'm finished before him.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I'm disappointed every time and usually have to finish myself
- 54:46Speaker 1: off after he falls asleep. I can't live in this
- 54:49Speaker 1: marriage without being satisfied, and I'm not a cheater. I
- 54:53Speaker 1: don't want to make him feel bad by telling him
- 54:55Speaker 1: that he's not lasting long enough in the bedroom, and
- 54:58Speaker 1: I'm not pleased with him. I have a lot of
- 55:00Speaker 1: tricks to show him, and I want to blow his
- 55:03Speaker 1: mind each time like I used to when we first met.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I am sure it's one of the things that really
- 55:09Speaker 1: attracted him to me. I need your help on this one.
- 55:13Speaker 1: Should I just be happy that his pregame activities are
- 55:16Speaker 1: on point and get over the fact that he can't
- 55:19Speaker 1: last over fifteen minutes. I want to give him subtle hints,
- 55:23Speaker 1: but I don't know where to start. What is a
- 55:26Speaker 1: normal time frame for sex? Because it could be that
- 55:29Speaker 1: I'm asking for way too much. Steve, that last question
- 55:33Speaker 1: was for you, please help directed to I got some fight,
- 55:39Speaker 1: all right? No, no, To answer your question, there is
- 55:42Speaker 1: not a time limit to making love. I mean, it
- 55:46Speaker 1: can go as for as much time as you like,
- 55:48Speaker 1: or for as little time as you wanted. It's it's
- 55:51Speaker 1: up to the both of you, guys, who were involved
- 55:53Speaker 1: in this situation. You should be happy. I'm glad you're
- 55:57Speaker 1: happy with the four play or the pregame extivities as
- 56:00Speaker 1: you call it. Um happy, you say, but not satisfied.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You know clearly there's a problem in the bedroom with you. Guys.
- 56:12Speaker 1: You want more, and he's giving you. I guess all
- 56:16Speaker 1: he has or all he thinks that you want fifteen minutes. Okay,
- 56:20Speaker 1: maybe that's all he has to give. Um. You know,
- 56:23Speaker 1: maybe you guys should cut down on the pregame activities
- 56:26Speaker 1: and and do more on the main attraction. Uh, you're
- 56:30Speaker 1: getting you know, you're just getting started and he's finishing
- 56:34Speaker 1: up after three years of dating. It seems like you
- 56:36Speaker 1: guys would have worked this situation out while you were dating. Um,
- 56:40Speaker 1: because you don't talk. You don't say that you weren't satisfied.
- 56:43Speaker 1: When you were dating. You said that you used to
- 56:45Speaker 1: blow his mind. So what happened? You got married and
- 56:48Speaker 1: now you guys are settling in. You're getting to know
- 56:51Speaker 1: each other. You got bills, you you realize that you're
- 56:53Speaker 1: going to be together till death do us part, and
- 56:56Speaker 1: you know, and all those things. So you guys have
- 57:00Speaker 1: only been married for two months. You have to get
- 57:03Speaker 1: settled in. You have to learn each other. You have
- 57:05Speaker 1: to learn how to talk to each other. That means
- 57:07Speaker 1: finding a way to tell him nicely that you would
- 57:10Speaker 1: like him to slow down, take his time, that he's
- 57:14Speaker 1: it's happening too fast. Okay, I almost said it that. Uh,
- 57:20Speaker 1: it's happening too fast. That's what you need to talk
- 57:22Speaker 1: to him about. All right. You guys are married for
- 57:24Speaker 1: the long haul. You can talk to him. You can
- 57:26Speaker 1: teach him. I did. You can teach him, all right,
- 57:31Speaker 1: especially if you guys love each other and you say
- 57:32Speaker 1: you do. Steve, come on, you know, come on, I
- 57:39Speaker 1: appreciate your answer. Sure, thank you, Steve. Yea. It was
- 57:44Speaker 1: for her, you know. Come on, you know talking this
- 57:48Speaker 1: is going to get down what's really happening here? Homeboy,
- 57:52Speaker 1: ain't cutting it. It's all to it. You know. It's
- 57:56Speaker 1: a ten to fifteen minute session. Now I need to
- 57:58Speaker 1: ask you a question. Is this ten to fifteen minutes
- 58:03Speaker 1: inclusive of the pregame? You know that's where you say
- 58:09Speaker 1: you take care of him and he take care of you.
- 58:12Speaker 1: I think so that's we'ven't done this. Now you want
- 58:16Speaker 1: fifteen mote. See, we got a couple of things we
- 58:21Speaker 1: need to talk about him now after all this hill
- 58:25Speaker 1: fifteen mote. I'm gonna be honest with you. He putting
- 58:30Speaker 1: it in because it's fifteen minutes a hard label intensified.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I'm talking about back cracking. Yeah, yeah, I'm talking about
- 58:46Speaker 1: your butt has locked up. What I'm talking about your tricepts.
- 58:55Speaker 1: It's pulsing at a point and you damn nil, damn
- 59:01Speaker 1: Neil can't stay up no more. I uh, you've obviously spent.
- 59:08Speaker 1: You need to count all these minutes or the pre
- 59:11Speaker 1: game has to be counted, because if you may be
- 59:15Speaker 1: in a forty minute session in pre game, yeah, you know,
- 59:20Speaker 1: all this is to you take care of him and
- 59:22Speaker 1: he take care of you. I don't know what they mean.
- 59:23Speaker 1: I got a good idea of what I'm hoping it
- 59:25Speaker 1: is not about. Yo, got you want to give me
- 59:33Speaker 1: up back before we didn't skip the rest. I'm gonna
- 59:36Speaker 1: go big. You're not in this ladder. I'm just saying,
- 59:42Speaker 1: we do the pre game stuff and this is wonderful.
- 59:45Speaker 1: I hook him up and there he hooked me up.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Well here, everybody hooked up. See we alls hooked up now,
- 59:53Speaker 1: So what is we crying for? So let me go
- 59:56Speaker 1: of a couple of things. I'm gonna give you a
- 59:59Speaker 1: suggest and that's to what you do when we come back.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I have a series of suggestions for you that you
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: should try so we can get a better grip on
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: this time. Y'all, stay right here, I got the truth
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: for you. All right. We'll have part two of Steve's
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour. We'll
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: get into it when we come back right after this.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: Subject I need him to go a little bit longer. Yeah,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: I bet you do. See this woman say she got
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: a husband, great provider. Love everything about him, especially the
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: way he loves the lord. Dated for three years, got married,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: being married two months. You love him dearly, But we
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: got a problem in the bed room. When we make
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: love is usually of ten to fifteen minute session. Now
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: we do all the pregame stuff, and it's wonderful. I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: hook him up. He hooked me up before we get started.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: See all is hooking up before you get started. And
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: now after that, you say he finishing two fast and
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: ain't making sure I'm finished before him. I'm disappointed every time.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: And I used to have to finish myself off after
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: he fall asleep. I ain't living this match without being satisfied.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: I ain't gonna cheata. I don't want to make it
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: feel bad about telling me he ain't lasting long enough
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: in this bad room. I'm not pleased with him though.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Now I got some tricks I want to show him.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: I want to blow his mind each time like I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: used to do. Who we fush? I'm shore that's one
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: of the things that really attracted him to me. I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: need to help on this. So should I be happy
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: with the pregame activities because they aren't point and get
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: over the fact that he can't last over fifteen minutes.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: I want to give him some hints, but I don't
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: want to know where to start. What's a normal time
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: frame for sex? Surely said it ain't and it really
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: ends because I could that I'm asking for too much. Steve,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: that last question was for you, are you asking for
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: too much? No, you ain't asking for too much, but
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: you might be too damn much. Well, I don't know.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I don't know what you're in that doing. Now that
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: it would have had to be a little bit more
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: explicit for me to tell if you know, are you
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: asking too much? But here's what I do know. We
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: got a problem because now the group has said that
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: the ten to fifteen minutes that y'all are actually in
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: the act of love making only what you consider I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: guess the final final moment is ten to fifteen minutes.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: The problem is is that you do the early stuff,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: the pre before you get hooked up, and he get
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: hooked up. Now I understand and that, but now here's
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: the problems you have. Number One, start on your own. Yes,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: h go ahead, Yeah, you start on your own to
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: wherever you need to be. Open up the chip bag,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: bus open the snack, get busy or derbs his own.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: The next thing I want you to do is let
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: him know when you close. Yes, and then he come
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: on end Yeah, may bay, I'm good, Cory, Harry up,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: not Harry. See that way when he comes in. Now,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: whatever he got left is meaningful him. Can't hit a
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: whistle again. But wait, that's her whistling. Yeah, because you
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: know she and that she working. She didn't worked that
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: it's about to about to go down. Then uh, they
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: get to set your clock up. When you get started,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: you hit the time. Then when he coming now it'll
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: look like you went longer. Oh man, don't you him?
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: And now now ah, this is your alternative if you
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: don't want to do that, tie to finish shitting off
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: stuff with yourself and he finished. Here's a couple of
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: other suggestions. I'm gonna just say these real quick. You
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: can take up painting. Go down there and sign up
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: for a craft class. Go down there like they used
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: the old school. Do some old school crafts. Makes mans trade, yeah, Michaels. Yeah,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: you know, going that, start collecting hot wheels. It just
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: goes walk outs and dolls and as you know, it's
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: fine toys that people don't see no more. You know,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: make a train, you know what i mean. Put some
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: stuff around your house, little trees, little station, get some
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: little dolls and stuff. It's just stuff you can do. Hey,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: go outside, do some yard work. Good out this ship,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: going outside and do some yard work. Or here's the
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: other option, the third set. Have you ever thought, sweetie
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: that you just really really good? Huh? Has that cross
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: stream mind that girl? That what you putting on this boy? Right? No,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: ye can't no man take it cause you all that
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Dante Wilden people. Yeah. Yeah, you just you just throw
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: a knockout blow, all right, I'm not no Yeah, Email
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: us or Instagram us your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM, or you can check out the
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. All right, Coming up next,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So, Tommy, Uh,
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: you said players and playoffs have reached out to you
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: to get the word out. Yeah, you know what, they
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: have reached out to me. I don't know why. You know,
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: I'm happy to marry it. I don't know why they're
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: doing this to me, but you know, nevertheless, they are
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: reaching out and they want some support. The need some help.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And I am um sending you know, information out to
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: people that I know that the process we can help them.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: So and I know that some of you all cannot
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: respond right now, but I just want you to hear
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: what Tommy is saying here. It is to whomever reads
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: this text and can get this to the person who
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: is in charge of the money. I Thomas W. Miles
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: on behalf of players and players in the United States
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: of America. Hereby therefore, whereas uh henceforth UH taken to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I just you know, thought, I thought, put I put
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: that in there and make a sound basic. What I'm
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: asking for is on behalf of the players and play
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: afts throughout the country. First, first, let me go over
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: the needs hair cuts pocket money, gas, money for the men,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: and and and and then then then then there's nails,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: hair and and and a happy hour. Money for the
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: women are needed expeditiously. No, no, now now now listen
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: to me. What I'm saying is that I would like
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: for someone to come up with a side piece stimulus check. Absolutely,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: do you understand what I'm saying, So listen, no, no, no, no,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: don't call it. Don't hate till you understand. Not being
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: on lockdown um has almost has it almost impossible for
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: us to transfer for funds for five side pieces as
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: as we usually deal in cash. You know, we can't.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: We can't do cash chap, we we can't do zal
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: right now, we can't do that. So um, So what
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I'm saying is see if you can get someone all
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: right who you know and can get get on this
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: right away because if not, players and players will lose.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: They will lose and I stressed the word lose the
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: side pie. Okay, they will have to go back to
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: the mate that they really liked them again respond to
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: this text through my mama's email. If all right, we
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: behalf on all the playoffs and playoffs, all right, We'll
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: right after you're listening to the Steven Show. All right,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: So Steve, here's a question for you, since you're the CLO,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the chief love Officer. All right, how long do you
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: think it takes before couples, you know, have the talk
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: about how to label their relationship? And I'm asking you
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: that because a new study. This is according to a
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: new study, uh, it says that it takes on average
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: six weeks to have what you know, what we are
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: talking and to label the relationship. Well, you know when
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: you have to talk about your relationship and putting labels
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: on where are we going? Where? You know, what are
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: we doing? You know, what what are we doing? Should
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: have it at that restaurant? No? No, no, no, no,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I said, you know, like when, when and what time
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: in the relationship should we have it? I think ninety days? Okay.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: I think for a woman's sake, I think a woman
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: has to get a determination, getting some type of idea
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of where this is going, okay, and when she finds
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: that out, just give it up because that's ninety days. Well,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: you know you don't have to do that as a guy.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Minium Blay, don't mean give it up, but go ahead.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: But you know, um ninety days, you should have an
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: idea where it's going. You have every right to know
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: and ask man, what is it? Okay? Another question, Steve,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: how should they bring it up? How should you broach
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: that subject? Final damn text messages? That's what you know.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: You know, if a woman is curious about what the
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: relationship is, she got to bring it up. If a
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: man wants to define it, he needs to break it up.
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: But and how should they do that? That was my original? Hey,
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: where we're going? Just right out with it? I said,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: I where we're going? What is all this? What we're doing?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: In that tone? No, but that's the man, because that
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: can't be the woman. Well, hello, Ray, surely don't rush
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: pass that waite basement could be I'm just asking too, though, Steve,
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: don't you think that? I don't know for women sometimes
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: they might feel it's kind of awkward or they don't
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: know how to do that, to just come right out
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: with it and say, hey, where we going with this relationship?
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: What are we? Yeah that you just saying come right
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: on out with it? Well, I mean, you know you
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: could try to like round about so can I ask
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: you a question. Yeah, my girlfriends are starting to ask
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: me what type of relationship is this? What should I say? Okay?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: You know what should I be saying to people? And
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: let him give you an Yeah that's what that's now,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: that's what I wanted to know. Yeah, how that's what
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: I figured. But that's good, clo, that's good. So wait
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: like ninety days to even bring up the talk and
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: kind of ease into it. You're saying, kind of ease
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: into it ninety days, ladies, you have every right to
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: be able to say, okay, so what do we have?
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: Especially if ninety days you start passing out that cookie.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: There's no reason for you to pass out to cookie
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: and not understand what it is. Okay, you know, if
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: we if we're in a committed relationship, you should know that.
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: I'd want to know that before I passed out to cookie. Yeah, right,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: is this some monogamous relationship? Are we committed? Exclusive? Are
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: we exclusive? What is it? I need to know? Okay?
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: You know that makes sense, don't Oh? Yes, yes, yes?
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: And then you say when you want to bring the
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: subject up, you kind of ease into it, you know,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: just slide it to him, you know what I mean? Hey, Look,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: now we've been dating for a while and my girlfriends
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: and co workers are starting to ask me what is
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: this we have? So I mean, how would you like
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: for me to address you or describe you what I'm
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: talking to other people, you know, kind of put it
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: on them. Look, yeah, and what and what should the
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: woman say if the man asked her? Or will a
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: man ask her that question? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, of
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: course dudes they want to know. And what should the
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: woman say? You know the truth? I mean, you know,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: a guy could say, hey, baby, look, we've been at
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: this for a little while. Are we exclusive or no?
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: And then if it's exclusive, you gotta tell him yes.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: And if it's not thing, you just got to say, hey, no,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: it's not really EXCLUDI I'm seeing some other people. Okay,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: all right, exactly, Thank you. See Elo, We'll be back
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: You're listening at the piano. John Legend sits down down
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: tickling those keys. How pretty the sound out? Then he
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: starts singing to lead he ranging me down down. All
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: of this song lasts such a long time. Shane Mix
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: three minutes de La twenty nine. He writes to lyrics,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: but when he sings it, he holds every line before
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: your songs come on night doing fine. But he who
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: musing means itch ninety ninetime. You but us all to sleep?
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: You bot us all to sleep? Ride a club mix
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: for Joan Legend. All song should be sung and wedding.
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: It's a Lord to sleep. I swear that song. You
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: kids with a d D listen because it's too hard
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: to pay attention. He'll put a lord a sleep. He'll
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: put a lord a sleep, a sled a sleep. You're listening,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Harvey warning show. I gotta ask you, guys, because we've
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: all done this, what was your most embarrassing text that
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: you've ever sent to someone by accident? So so, junior,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: have you ever acted? Oh yeah, you need to understand
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: last names. If the two people got to save name
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: picked the right one because I sent a text to
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: my sister, said my mama getting on my damn nerves.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Send it right to my mama. Oh I get your
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: damn nerves. That's what I do. Yes, that's what I do.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: I should have known that it was really really rough week. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: yeah it was yeah yeah. Tlicia's space and Alicia's space
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: is really close. Yeah, that's close. Yeah, yeah, And I
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: spent Telicia. I should have hypped, man, I was going, fuck,
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: tell me, I know you sent some necking pictures to
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: somebody before you were married. I know you did. Surely,
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: How do I paint this? Okay? Let me try to
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: walk this thin land though. Okay. Jack went on whole
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: way home and said, find us something to eat, you know,
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: find you know, let's see if we got something there
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: to cook to eat. You know this one this You
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: just got your phone to take pictures and all that,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: so you don't you just trying stuff. I put myself
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: in a hot dog bun with relish and mustard, hook
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: the picture and call myself sin it. It's saying wait
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: till you get home and get this foot loan. And
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: I hit sin and did not know man, I hit
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: the wrong damn Jackie. And he's, oh, that was jack
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: You heard what he said, Steven, wrong Jackie, get your nephew.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: You can give us this response. He's still alive. That's
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: a good that's a good sign. So what did the
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: wrong Jackie say? Yeah, you got the wrong jacket and
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: you know it was a friend of the family jacket.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Like when you get home, gonna get this footloan. You
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: got the wrong jacket. Where did you find Where did
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you find him? Baby? Hot dog Buzz got up the
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: worst text ever said all about five six years ago,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: and we're in this group text me Rashawn, a couple
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: other people and the executive producer of the show. So
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: the last text had came from Rashawn. So my executive
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: producer is talking to me, and she's a woman, and
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: she's right in my face, and she just talking to me,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: and she was so close to my face. I picked
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: my phone up and just text back to Rashawn a man,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: come get her out your end words face. She too
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: damned close. Seeing I'm thinking, I'm just sending it right
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: back to Rashawn. It's in the group text. He got
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: it too. She two inches from my face. Her phone dings.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: She looks at it. It says, oh really. Sean is
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: running from the back of the bus trying to stop
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: them from looking at I don't know what the hell happened.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: It's too late, dog, I said that about her. It
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: was right, she was right there. I heard her phone
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: go ding. She getting a text too, All right, thank
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: you guys, coming up next. It is Steve with today's
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: closing remarks. Right after this you're listening show all right,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: time to go Rogue, which is powered by the super
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: stylish twenty twenty one Nissan Rogue. Steve, please quickly tell
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: us about when going rogue turned out to be just
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: right for you. I mean, look, I can point to
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: so many incidents, but I think probably the greatest, one
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: of the greatest moments for me was a teacher of mine,
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: not just one, but this one in tartickulate. But hey,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I've heard this repeat it in my life several times.
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: You ain't gonna ever be nothing. And I just think
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: oftentimes about how many times I heard that you ain't
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: gonna ever be nothing. Look at you. I kept people
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: kept telling me what I wouldn't what nobody trying to
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: figure out what I was. But they were so fast
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: to tell me what I wasn't. You ain't that smart,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: you ain't that good looking, You ain't that you talk
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: too slow? You country, You ain't this, you ain't got
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: the right attitude? You got right? Wha Does anybody have
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: any idea what I am? Though? While you telling me
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: what I'm not? So this teacher kept repeating you ain't
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: gonna ever be nothing. I did say back to him
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: one time, this man, he said, you ain't gonna ever
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: be nothing. I said, I know I'm gonna be something. Okay.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: That was good, And so then I made the decision,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: through several moments in my life to always constantly be
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: about the business of trying to be something. It may
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: not be what you think I'm gonna be, and I
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: may not turn out to be what you expect me
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: to be, but I'm gonna stay faithful. I'm gonna keep
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: working hard. I'm gonna roll on you, Pardner, I'm gonna
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: go against the grain. I'm gonna make a hard left here.
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I am roll, live roll, I'm roking a right roll. So,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: Steve Um, this is our last break of the day.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: You wanted to do something special, right, I guess I
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: want to say something first, and then I'm gonna let
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: my friend talk for second. All right, So let's go today.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I want to have a conversation with you all about faith.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: You know, I think a lot of people don't like
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: talking about faith because for some reason. I don't know, man,
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: I just think a part of it is political correctness
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: in our society today. I think some people don't talk
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: about faith because so many people are from different faiths.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: But when I'm talking about faith, I'm merely talking about
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the belief in the belief in God. That's all I'm
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: talking about. You know, for whatever your faith is, I'm
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: cool with everybody's faith. Man, I'm not that judgmental guy.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I'm not the guy that says, if you don't believe
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: what I believe, yours is off base, because that's not true.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: That's just one hundred percent not true. All faiths are valid.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Every faith is valid, that is God based. All of
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: them are valid. You I don't care if you Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Protestant, Gentile,
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: jew don't. I don't care. I don't care. As long
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: as your faith is God based, the belief that God
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: is who he is, that's all that matters. I want
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to talk to you about faith for a minute from
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: the standpoint of what are you? What are you and
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: God talking about? Because man, I've learned so much about faith.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: A friend of mine sent me a scripture Psalms five three,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and it's an important scripture, man, because what it did
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: for me was it taught me something about my faith.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Because if you're a person of faith, then you have
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: a relationship with God, and God has a relationship with you,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: and and he hears you when you cry. And it
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: was sort of ironic because I had started having my
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: morning meditation a few weeks ago. And I just can't
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: even tell you how it has completely changed the outcome
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: of my days. It hasn't stopped anything from happening, but
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: it has changed the way I cope with it and
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: the way I look forward. See, I don't worry about
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: tomorrow anymore. Oh, I'm making plans, but I'm not worrying
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: about tomorrow because I was reading something somewhere that you
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: cannot change by worrying. You cannot give yourself one hour
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: of extra life from worrying. If you worry, you can't
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: add an hour to your life. So if by worrying
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: you can't even add an hour of time to your life,
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: which is one of the most important things you can
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: have as your time, why would you worry about anything else.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: So in the morning, when I'm talking to God Psalms
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: five and three, I always ask God in the morning
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to hear my voice. When I'm praying to you, I'm
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: asking him to hear my voice and after he hears
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: my voice, then I wait for him with an expect
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: with an expectation that what I cried out for will happen,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: no doubt, no worry. It is going to happen. Now.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: It may not happen that day, but since I put
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: it in my request with that kind of faith attached
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: to it, God's promises never come back void. God has
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: never told us he would do something for us, and
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: he didn't do it. God didn't ever promise something to
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: be so, and we found out later on in what
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: all of God's promises is true. He don't. His word
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: don't come back void. So when you do that, man,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: you put your prayer out there and your meditation, and
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: you put it out there with the faith, and you
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: look forward expectingly. And that has changed me. Are you
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: discussing your future with God? He wants us to make
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: decisions now. He would love to be included in the
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: decision making process. That's the relationship he wants with us.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: But when God allows you to make a decision a plan,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: he wants to hear your plan. Sometimes your plan or
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: in line with what he is, and sometimes he needs
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: to make an adjustment. So when you ask God for something,
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: and at the end of it you say, God, let
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: your will be done, then guess what. I may ask
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: for something, but always tag with let your will be done,
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: because if it's not your will, then show me whatever
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: that is. Because his adjustment that he makes is gonna
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: be way better than your plan. God's adjustments is better
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: than your plans. And the cool part about it is
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: is when he makes the adjustment, you're going to agree
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: with it because it's going to be spot on, just right.
