- 1:49Speaker 2: Look me, come me.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Come out.
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that, huh? I sure will?
- 2:03Speaker 9: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 9: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 9: radio show. Here we go today. I think I have
- 2:15Speaker 9: something for a lot of people today, at least I
- 2:18Speaker 9: hope I do. And this is about on your journey,
- 2:22Speaker 9: And this is about something that happens to us all.
- 2:27Speaker 9: I mean, what happens to all of us from time
- 2:31Speaker 9: to time when we get discouraged, What happens to all
- 2:36Speaker 9: of us when we feel like quitting, What happens to
- 2:41Speaker 9: all of us when we have that turnback moment. What
- 2:44Speaker 9: happens to all of us when it don't seem like
- 2:48Speaker 9: it's going to pan out? Because I want you to
- 2:51Speaker 9: understand something that everyone, every single living soul, has those
- 2:57Speaker 9: thoughts about something some point in their life. I mean,
- 3:03Speaker 9: you know, look, I've oftentimes been discouraged about things not
- 3:07Speaker 9: happening as fast as I like them. All things don't
- 3:12Speaker 9: pan out the way I would like for them to
- 3:15Speaker 9: have panned out. I mean, it's so many ways to
- 3:19Speaker 9: get discouraged. But what my encouragement to you is when
- 3:26Speaker 9: discouragement comes is understand this. It is a part of
- 3:32Speaker 9: the growth process. It is a test. It is a
- 3:40Speaker 9: test of your faith. How bad you want it, do
- 3:45Speaker 9: you really believe? That's all faith is is simply and
- 3:51Speaker 9: I've said this how many times. Faith is the belief
- 3:55Speaker 9: in things that you cannot see. So when discouragement comes,
- 3:59Speaker 9: set comes, it is a test of your faith. At
- 4:04Speaker 9: least it's been that way for me. Now other people
- 4:06Speaker 9: can explain it another way. I'm not other people. I
- 4:09Speaker 9: can only give it to you the way it has
- 4:11Speaker 9: come to me and throughout my life and man or
- 4:14Speaker 9: man or man discouragement sometimes it's tough to.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Deal with.
- 4:20Speaker 9: Because it seems at times when you were discouraged that
- 4:24Speaker 9: it is so absolute that this means the end, and
- 4:31Speaker 9: if you allow it to set in, it can be
- 4:35Speaker 9: just that the end of you when merely merely, it
- 4:39Speaker 9: was a test, that's all it is. But the majority
- 4:43Speaker 9: of people that I know who are not successful or
- 4:48Speaker 9: who have told me the story of how they gave up,
- 4:51Speaker 9: it was because at a moment of discouragement that they
- 4:56Speaker 9: allowed it to set in and it became so engulfing
- 5:01Speaker 9: that it became the reason why you shouldn't finish. And
- 5:05Speaker 9: then they started justifying it with hit the one that
- 5:07Speaker 9: I hate to hear. Well, if it's God's will, excuse me.
- 5:13Speaker 9: If it's God's will that you fail. If it's God's
- 5:18Speaker 9: will that you're not successful. If it's God's will that
- 5:23Speaker 9: you lay down and give up, it's God's will that
- 5:27Speaker 9: you allow yourself to amount to, not to not reach
- 5:31Speaker 9: your potential. That's God's will. That's not the God I know.
- 5:37Speaker 9: That's not the God I serve. That's not the God
- 5:40Speaker 9: I've read about. That's not the God I believe in.
- 5:43Speaker 9: I'm sorry. I just my mother always taught me something
- 5:47Speaker 9: that he didn't bring me this far to leave me.
- 5:49Speaker 9: I just don't believe that, not for a second. Now
- 5:56Speaker 9: have I convinced myself for some things, Yep? Have I
- 6:00Speaker 9: allowed the devil to come into the picture and paint
- 6:03Speaker 9: a different one from it. Yep, yep, I've done all
- 6:06Speaker 9: of that, But you can't blame that on God. Now,
- 6:10Speaker 9: come on, So when discouragement comes, try to look at
- 6:17Speaker 9: it if you can, as a test of your faith,
- 6:21Speaker 9: and you merely have to pass the test. It could
- 6:25Speaker 9: be for a day, a half a day, a few hours,
- 6:28Speaker 9: a week, a few weeks, it don't matter. Don't nobody
- 6:31Speaker 9: know how long the test period is. Your job is
- 6:34Speaker 9: to keep the faith and keep moving. Keep the faith
- 6:38Speaker 9: and keep moving, keep working, keep believing, keep hope alive.
- 6:44Speaker 9: That's your job. If you do that, that's how you
- 6:48Speaker 9: pass the test. It could be over tomorrow, it could
- 6:51Speaker 9: be over in two weeks, it could be over in
- 6:53Speaker 9: a month.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You don't know. But all you got to do is
- 6:56Speaker 1: wake up and keep the faith and fight the discouraging.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And how do you do that? Steve? Now here we go.
- 7:03Speaker 9: This is the part I know about for show because
- 7:06Speaker 9: how many times I've had to fight off discouragement in
- 7:10Speaker 9: order to get to where God wanted me to be.
- 7:14Speaker 1: What do you do when you become discouraged? Well, I
- 7:19Speaker 1: think of the outcome.
- 7:21Speaker 9: When I get discouraged about a task, I think about
- 7:24Speaker 9: the outcome Man, what would it be like if I
- 7:27Speaker 9: were to complete the task?
- 7:29Speaker 1: What would it be like? Man? What would the outcome
- 7:32Speaker 1: be for me if I hung loan in there? If
- 7:35Speaker 1: I didn't give up.
- 7:36Speaker 9: If I imagine, I imagine if I don't quit, I
- 7:43Speaker 9: imagine if I don't.
- 7:44Speaker 1: Give up, what would it be like?
- 7:47Speaker 8: Man?
- 7:48Speaker 1: Suppose everything I'm hoping for comes true.
- 7:52Speaker 9: But if I don't quit and give up, that might
- 7:54Speaker 9: just be the case. I start talking to myself like that,
- 8:00Speaker 9: I think of what the upside is. What's the upside
- 8:03Speaker 9: to stay in with it? You see, all this is
- 8:06Speaker 9: the same thing. I'm just giving you different ways to
- 8:09Speaker 9: look at it. I'm saying the exact same thing over
- 8:11Speaker 9: and over. But I'm just trying to find the switch
- 8:14Speaker 9: that connects in your mind where you can say, Okay, man,
- 8:17Speaker 9: I'm gonna hang in there. Because if you think of
- 8:20Speaker 9: the outcome and the outcome is appealing to you, if
- 8:23Speaker 9: you imagine what it would be like if you don't
- 8:26Speaker 9: give up or you don't quit, if you think only
- 8:30Speaker 9: of what the upside is to stay in with it,
- 8:34Speaker 9: and then I go, where can this lead to? If
- 8:38Speaker 9: I stay with it, man, and the outcome comes true?
- 8:42Speaker 9: What else could that lead me to? Because I mean,
- 8:46Speaker 9: there's always more to it. So where else could this
- 8:49Speaker 9: lead me to? What are the possibilities?
- 8:53Speaker 7: Man?
- 8:54Speaker 9: What are the limitless possibilities? What could God possibly have
- 8:59Speaker 9: in store for me? If I just hang in there,
- 9:02Speaker 9: if I pass this test of faith? If I just
- 9:05Speaker 9: pass this test, now, it ain't gonna be the only one.
- 9:08Speaker 9: But you gotta get past this one. No, then you
- 9:11Speaker 9: gonna hear the smooth plane. Then it's gonna be another one.
- 9:14Speaker 9: It's gonna be another one. Life ain't nothing but a
- 9:17Speaker 9: series of tests.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Man.
- 9:20Speaker 9: Man, when you're thinking about giving up, when you're discouraged,
- 9:24Speaker 9: think of the outcome. Imagine what it would be like
- 9:28Speaker 9: if you don't quit, if you don't give up, what's
- 9:30Speaker 9: the upside to staying with it? Where can this all
- 9:34Speaker 9: lead to? What can this get you to? If you
- 9:38Speaker 9: do this and you get to where you think you
- 9:40Speaker 9: want to be? Oh my god, what's after that? What
- 9:44Speaker 9: are the limitless and endless possibilities of holding on to
- 9:49Speaker 9: your faith?
- 9:50Speaker 1: What could really be out there for me?
- 9:52Speaker 10: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 1: If I just passed this test, you gotta talk yourself
- 9:56Speaker 1: into hanging in there.
- 9:57Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 9: Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to give thanks
- 10:08Speaker 9: and honor to an almighty God for waking us up

- 10:16Speaker 9: right mind. I remember that from old church days. Yeah,
- 10:20Speaker 9: that was standing opening of any testimony. The funniest testimony
- 10:25Speaker 9: wasn't the funniest one. I've seen some funny ones over

- 15:29Speaker 5: Is that possible?
- 15:31Speaker 4: Well, sure, he's at work right now, but I can
- 15:34Speaker 4: get him.
- 15:34Speaker 7: On the phone.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Okay, it would be uh, it'd be kind of easy
- 15:37Speaker 5: if I kind of explained everything to both of you
- 15:39Speaker 5: guys at the same time. Is that if that's okay?
- 15:41Speaker 3: Okay?

- 16:24Speaker 5: a call and kind of follow up. It's tell you

- 16:32Speaker 5: guys at the same time. So do you have a
- 16:34Speaker 5: minute that we could actually use a kind to get
- 16:36Speaker 5: some of this information out to you.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna break right now.
- 16:40Speaker 7: I'm good.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Okay, great. First of all, we've gotten all your your
- 16:43Speaker 5: lab rezos back everything, and I kind of got a
- 16:46Speaker 5: few questions for you guys that I that I'm a
- 16:48Speaker 5: little puzzled on. How long have you guys actually been
- 16:51Speaker 5: married years? Okay, now prior to being married three years?
- 16:57Speaker 5: How long did you guys know each other before you
- 16:59Speaker 5: got married? Oh?
- 17:00Speaker 3: Wold you say about five and a half? Five six years?
- 17:03Speaker 3: About six years?
- 17:04Speaker 5: Okay? You guys have been knowing each other pretty close
- 17:06Speaker 5: to nine years now all together.
- 17:08Speaker 3: Yeah, okay.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Are you actually from the same hometowns? You grew up
- 17:11Speaker 5: in the same hometown?
- 17:13Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we grew up.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I mean, I'm sorry, is this question I mean, is
- 17:19Speaker 4: this about the insurance or well, I mean.
- 17:21Speaker 5: There's a few things. That's actually puzzling Karmen that we
- 17:26Speaker 5: need to this. This is some news I actually didn't
- 17:30Speaker 5: want to bring you, guys. I mean we have to.
- 17:33Speaker 5: I have to actually give you this news. Looking at
- 17:36Speaker 5: our records, looking at all the test results, and let
- 17:38Speaker 5: me be the person tell you that we run these
- 17:39Speaker 5: results over and over and over, trying to make sure
- 17:43Speaker 5: we are completely one hundred and fifteen to twenty percent right, Okay, it's.
- 17:47Speaker 3: A problem with the test.
- 17:48Speaker 5: Well, looking at our test, guys, Carvey Carmen, it's indicating
- 17:54Speaker 5: that you guys are related, and nine times out of
- 17:57Speaker 5: ten you are. You guys are siblings? Man? What And
- 18:06Speaker 5: I understand the shock it took me. It took everything
- 18:09Speaker 5: I had to make this phone call. I did not
- 18:11Speaker 5: want to make it. But looking at our records and
- 18:13Speaker 5: we went over these records over and over and then
- 18:16Speaker 5: and the blood work tells us that you guys are
- 18:19Speaker 5: actually siblings.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Are you serious, man?
- 18:28Speaker 5: I'm actually I'm you know what this is not that
- 18:31Speaker 5: This is not a laughing matter, not a joking matter.
- 18:34Speaker 5: You know, Like I said, I did not want to
- 18:36Speaker 5: call with this information.
- 18:37Speaker 3: What you did make the call?
- 18:39Speaker 10: Man?
- 18:40Speaker 14: Look, I don't know what you need to go back
- 18:44Speaker 14: and and and double check your records or something because
- 18:47Speaker 14: you been married.
- 18:48Speaker 3: Three brief check with the lab man. Can you check
- 18:52Speaker 3: with the lab and like Paul is back, Harvey.
- 18:55Speaker 5: And I and I and I knew those questions would
- 18:57Speaker 5: have come up, and we we went over We went
- 19:00Speaker 5: over it and over and over it.
- 19:02Speaker 14: Y'all need to go over it again because I'm gonna
- 19:06Speaker 14: I don't.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Know, baby, I got this. You make the call and
- 19:10Speaker 3: this gotta be wrong. So what you need to do
- 19:12Speaker 3: is make another call and called a lab and call
- 19:15Speaker 3: us back and let us know that you either you
- 19:17Speaker 3: know they made a mistake of sh you're talking about

- 38:23Speaker 10: two young guys got Jason, a computer science graduate from
- 38:27Speaker 10: Allegheny College, recognizes the need to enhance his professional image
- 38:31Speaker 10: during job interviews. Young black men all over the country
- 38:35Speaker 10: are embracing this trend. Quarter zips are knit like collar
- 38:39Speaker 10: design with a quarter zip length. This style is often
- 38:43Speaker 10: associated with the preppy and business casual wear layered over
- 38:47Speaker 10: a button down shirt with slacks and loafers. Young black
- 38:51Speaker 10: men are now opting for quarter zips instead of Nike
- 38:54Speaker 10: tech jackets. Furthermore, they are pairing this look with Macha
- 38:58Speaker 10: green tea, promoting a healthy beverage choice over sugary drink.
- 39:02Speaker 11: So what what what's your thoughts on that, Steve?
- 39:05Speaker 9: I mean, I think it's dope, you know, yeah, but
- 39:10Speaker 9: you know, great appearance. I think it's dope. Man, it's old,
- 39:15Speaker 9: but I think it's dope us you know. I mean
- 39:18Speaker 9: it's you know how many times I don't done that?
- 39:21Speaker 9: But that's not but to make it trendy, I think
- 39:24Speaker 9: it's really really slick. My hat's off to the young
- 39:26Speaker 9: brothers that's doing it. That's making cats more aware.
- 39:30Speaker 5: You know.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Now, I'm not fitna drink no cream green tea with it.
- 39:33Speaker 1: That ain't that ain't what I'm doing.
- 39:35Speaker 3: The look.
- 39:36Speaker 9: I still like single Mount Scotch and a cigar. You know,
- 39:47Speaker 9: quote zip up. You know you old gangs are like
- 39:51Speaker 9: that smoking jacket.
- 39:52Speaker 10: You know what I mean?
- 39:55Speaker 1: Junior j you got the new preppy glasses. You would
- 39:58Speaker 1: look good in the quarters. Thank you.
- 40:01Speaker 8: I have some sweaters quarters in.
- 40:03Speaker 1: You know you haven't been talking much this morning since
- 40:06Speaker 1: you got your new but you know, trying to see.
- 40:08Speaker 12: It's like we talked about a quartership. It's like my cousin,
- 40:11Speaker 12: even though you have on a quarter hip, you.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Still went to jail. What does that mean?
- 40:17Speaker 8: You can pramp up all you want, we still know
- 40:19Speaker 8: you're went to jail.
- 40:22Speaker 5: You know that.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Okay, okay, this story is positive.
- 40:29Speaker 8: Yes, he could wear one, he's still with the jail.
- 40:35Speaker 7: It ain't positive for him.
- 40:38Speaker 11: You know, Junior's family. He's always telling you like a
- 40:41Speaker 11: family moment.
- 40:42Speaker 7: You know what I like about this quartership? Ain't no
- 40:44Speaker 7: where you're wearing your pants hanging off your buttet at
- 40:46Speaker 7: least got that.
- 40:51Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think the tree is outstanding.
- 40:58Speaker 9: Starting gradually for young cats. Man, it's just taking care
- 41:02Speaker 9: of your appearance and I'm so happy.
- 41:05Speaker 1: Yeah, all quit sag.
- 41:07Speaker 11: Coming up at thirty four minutes after.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Hey, stick us off that hat.
- 41:12Speaker 11: Hey, kids are mad.
- 41:13Speaker 10: Kids are mad because of this allowance inflation. We'll talk
- 41:17Speaker 10: about that right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:27Speaker 10: All right, guys, so let's talk about parenting in today's
- 41:30Speaker 10: you know, let's have a discussion about this. Inflation is
- 41:33Speaker 10: making everything harder to afford these days. We know that,
- 41:37Speaker 10: and even young kids. Our young kids have noticed, which
- 41:40Speaker 10: is why they're asking for a raise. Have you noticed
- 41:43Speaker 10: that kids are asking for raises in their allowance now?
- 41:46Speaker 10: Kids say rising costs of sneakers, clothes, video games, fast food, coffee, drink,
- 41:52Speaker 10: snacks at school events are.
- 41:54Speaker 11: All on the rise.
- 41:56Speaker 10: So new poll by Talker Research finds at three out
- 42:00Speaker 10: four parents give their kids an allowance, usually starting at
- 42:03Speaker 10: around the age of ten. Mostly give cash, but some
- 42:07Speaker 10: parents use apps or prepaid debit cards. Two thirds of
- 42:11Speaker 10: parents say they give an allowance to teach kids about
- 42:13Speaker 10: money and financial responsibility. Others say it's a reward for
- 42:17Speaker 10: things like doing chores or getting good grades. Great, So
- 42:21Speaker 10: here's a question. Did you get an allowance when you
- 42:23Speaker 10: were a kid? First of all, did you guys get
- 42:26Speaker 10: an allowance?
- 42:28Speaker 8: How could.
- 42:30Speaker 11: You didn't get an allowance?
- 42:31Speaker 2: Steve?
- 42:32Speaker 9: No, okay, Well do you they to me about money
- 42:37Speaker 9: from the get go was we ain't got none, and
- 42:41Speaker 9: neither do you?
- 42:44Speaker 1: Are we clear?
- 42:46Speaker 8: But at you now? Are we?
- 42:50Speaker 1: Everybody? We ain't got none and neither to you? Now?
- 42:57Speaker 9: Going out there, get yourself a paper, oute, find yourself
- 43:00Speaker 9: some work and get yourself some money.
- 43:03Speaker 10: Well yeah, so do you give your kids allowances? Do
- 43:09Speaker 10: you do your kids have allowance?
- 43:12Speaker 7: My kids do, and your grandkids and it be on
- 43:16Speaker 7: Apple pay. From what I understand this is my my
- 43:19Speaker 7: wife does this, but I don't.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:21Speaker 6: Yeah, But I think my philosophy is, you know, I
- 43:25Speaker 6: don't think you should pay kids for good grades.
- 43:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I think that's your job as a student.
- 43:31Speaker 1: Never got no money in.
- 43:35Speaker 7: For good grades.
- 43:36Speaker 11: I give my grandkids.
- 43:37Speaker 10: I do give them because they're Yeah, when they get
- 43:40Speaker 10: on a roll in straight a's I do.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I treat them so you reward that. I tell you
- 43:44Speaker 1: what happened. That's your job.
- 43:47Speaker 9: But I tell them that, I tell you what happened
- 43:50Speaker 9: to me. My grades were so bad one year I
- 43:58Speaker 9: got a C I got my report car. My daddy
- 44:02Speaker 9: bought me a bike.
- 44:06Speaker 11: That's good things average. Yeah, that's good.
- 44:12Speaker 2: But he rewarded him on the best. That was the
- 44:15Speaker 2: best he.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Could at this boy right here.
- 44:22Speaker 8: Oh my god, just keep.
- 44:24Speaker 11: Grinding, Steve. You're gonna make your one day. Just keep grinding.
- 44:31Speaker 9: My kids on adults and the allowances. They have jobs,
- 44:36Speaker 9: three of them, one two, two of them.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Worked for me.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, yeah, but when they were younger, When they
- 44:46Speaker 2: were younger.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Did you get they got allowances? They did? But what
- 44:53Speaker 1: they get it for nothing, just for being because your
- 44:56Speaker 1: daddy done made it.
- 44:57Speaker 11: That's why.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Hating the reason right there?
- 45:02Speaker 10: Yourself an allowance, Steve, don't you give yourself an allowance?
- 45:06Speaker 1: Yeah? I get I get paid. I would give I
- 45:08Speaker 1: get paid once a month.
- 45:10Speaker 11: You pay yourself for yourself.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and Marjorie, Marjorie gets paid once a month.
- 45:17Speaker 11: Okay, yeah, that's what they say.
- 45:23Speaker 1: To the party. Welcome to the party. I know you
- 45:27Speaker 1: know you have to you have to have your business.
- 45:30Speaker 9: You have to pay yourself. Okay, okay, all right, Margine,
- 45:35Speaker 9: ever stay at her check?
- 45:38Speaker 11: Oh she goes out a bunchet.
- 45:42Speaker 1: A month, Steve, Well, do you have money enough for yours? Yeah?
- 45:50Speaker 9: I have from my paycheck. I'm never out of money. Ever,
- 45:56Speaker 9: I don't care because I was so poor. I know
- 46:00Speaker 9: once I get to another level, when I get to
- 46:02Speaker 9: a certain level, lead that money into account. I don't ever.
- 46:06Speaker 9: It ain't ever in the negative. I had a whole life.
- 46:10Speaker 9: You'll be doing that, do you know. I always have
- 46:13Speaker 9: some money. I'm not saying you know how much, but
- 46:18Speaker 9: I'm never just broke.
- 46:19Speaker 11: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 46:26Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 46:28Speaker 10: four minutes after it is my strawberry letter for it today,
- 46:31Speaker 10: and the subject is I love the man that catfished me.
- 46:36Speaker 11: We'll get into that and find out what that's all

- 50:18Speaker 7: I'm trying to be as gentleman as possible. You understand
- 50:21Speaker 7: I'm saying, Uh, is it a reason why you don't
- 50:23Speaker 7: want to, you know, participate?

- 50:36Speaker 7: You don't have no pictures on there or nothing like that,
- 50:39Speaker 7: not with my booty. No, So you're just trying to
- 50:42Speaker 7: tell me that all your pictures are from the waist up.
- 50:45Speaker 4: No, they're not all from the waist up. But I'm
- 50:47Speaker 4: not about to be flashing my booty and jiggling it
- 50:49Speaker 4: for your app.

- 51:06Speaker 7: Now, I say we put your booty on there for
- 51:08Speaker 7: the first week and you see how many hits you get,
- 51:11Speaker 7: and if you don't like it, then we take it down.
- 51:13Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying.
- 51:14Speaker 7: Just you know, let me tell you something.
- 51:18Speaker 4: You're not about to put my booty on no app
- 51:21Speaker 4: talking about giving it a week? You know I got
- 51:23Speaker 4: a brain, right, Ain't nobody about to be looking at
- 51:25Speaker 4: my booty for a week on the internet.
- 51:28Speaker 7: All I'm saying is give your booty a week. That's

- 51:30Speaker 1: Give your booty a week on appen.
- 51:32Speaker 4: We could no not putting my booty on no Internet.
- 51:36Speaker 1: So okay, are you insecure about yourself?

- 52:03Speaker 4: it's not happening.
- 52:04Speaker 14: I'll go ahead and follow y'all tomorrow, but I'm not

- 52:08Speaker 7: So you don't want to be a star. I'm trying
- 52:09Speaker 7: to make you a star, is what I'm trying to say.
- 52:12Speaker 4: I'm all right, I don't think I'm gonna be an
- 52:14Speaker 4: Instagram star from my booty jiggling. I'm okay, there's plenty
- 52:18Speaker 4: of people doing that already here You'll find somebody to
- 52:20Speaker 4: get that slot.
- 52:22Speaker 7: I'm just trying to make you a star.
- 52:23Speaker 11: That's all I'm trying to do.

- 52:45Speaker 4: me talking about no booties. I'm sorry, what don't me
- 52:50Speaker 4: talking about no booties? Call me talking about you want
- 52:53Speaker 4: to pay some student loans? Tell me you're trying to
- 52:56Speaker 4: pay a car note. Don't call me talking about you

- 56:51Speaker 11: All right, nephew, thank you. Subject.
- 56:53Speaker 10: I love the man that catfished me. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:57Speaker 10: I'm divorced and my children are grown. I hadn't dated
- 57:00Speaker 10: in years, but I figured I wouldn't have trouble meeting
- 57:04Speaker 10: someone because I'm still in my prime, and I don't
- 57:07Speaker 10: look like I'm fifty six. I decided to try online dating,
- 57:11Speaker 10: and I was honest on my dating profile. I used
- 57:14Speaker 10: a current picture of myself and I added that I
- 57:17Speaker 10: am a grandma, so there would be no confusion about
- 57:20Speaker 10: my age. I quickly met a guy and he said
- 57:22Speaker 10: he wasn't big on texting, so he insisted that we
- 57:26Speaker 10: talk all the time. We have a lot in common,
- 57:29Speaker 10: and we're both interested in a long term relationship, not
- 57:33Speaker 10: necessarily marriage. After two months of talking, I wanted to
- 57:37Speaker 10: meet him, but he was honest about his financial issues.
- 57:41Speaker 10: The financial issues he was having, and he said I'd
- 57:44Speaker 10: have to wait a while for him to come meet me.
- 57:47Speaker 10: I felt myself falling in love with him, so I
- 57:50Speaker 10: decided that our age we shouldn't have At our age,
- 57:55Speaker 10: we shouldn't have to wait for love. I purchased him
- 57:58Speaker 10: a plane ticket to come meet me. That was when
- 58:02Speaker 10: he opened up and admitted that he was falling in
- 58:04Speaker 10: love with me too. I went to pick him up
- 58:06Speaker 10: from the airport and I described my car to him.
- 58:09Speaker 10: After a few minutes, I noticed a very tall, slightly chubby,
- 58:14Speaker 10: and very light skinned guy with a George Jefferson haircut,
- 58:19Speaker 10: waving towards my car.
- 58:21Speaker 11: It was my him in all of his pictures.
- 58:25Speaker 10: He was buff and he had a fad style haircut,
- 58:28Speaker 10: and he was chocolate like I like my men. I
- 58:31Speaker 10: told him that he catfished me, and he got defensive
- 58:35Speaker 10: and said he could go back home. I allowed him
- 58:37Speaker 10: to stay because I honestly think that he's my person
- 58:41Speaker 10: and he's in love with me too. We've had a
- 58:43Speaker 10: few small hiccups since that day at the airport, but
- 58:46Speaker 10: it's great to finally have a romantic partner. We're talking
- 58:50Speaker 10: about moving in together soon. Am I crazy for staying
- 58:54Speaker 10: with this guy after he catfished me?
- 58:58Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 58:59Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, And I definitely wouldn't rush into moving in
- 59:04Speaker 10: together right away because there could be something else he's
- 59:07Speaker 10: catfishing you about.
- 59:08Speaker 11: You don't know this man. I mean, you said you.
- 59:11Speaker 10: Guys are in love with each other, you love him,
- 59:13Speaker 10: and he's fallen in love with you. He finally admitted
- 59:16Speaker 10: this is after two months of talking on the phone.
- 59:19Speaker 10: I'll say it again. You don't know this guy, and
- 59:22Speaker 10: you have you thought about how this is going to work.
- 59:26Speaker 10: He lives out of town. You need to see where
- 59:29Speaker 10: he lives. You need to see how he lives. You
- 59:31Speaker 10: need to meet his family, his close friends, his boys.
- 59:34Speaker 10: You need to know something more about this man. Don't
- 59:37Speaker 10: be so desperate that you start thinking about permanent things
- 59:41Speaker 10: with this man just because you're of a certain age.
- 59:44Speaker 10: You're fifty six, I mean, that would be a big mistake,
- 59:47Speaker 10: and it can cause you to settle for any guy
- 59:50Speaker 10: because you're fifty six and afraid of aging and being alone.
- 59:54Speaker 10: It's okay to want to be with someone. That's fine,
- 59:57Speaker 10: but it's got.
- 59:58Speaker 11: To be the right person for you.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: This man has already confessed to you about not being
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: financially straight, and at least he told you the truth
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: about that. But he didn't apologize for catfishing you. Instead,
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: he got mad and threatened to leave. These are red flags.
- 1:00:12Speaker 10: These are red flags just staring you in your face.
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: Please don't ignore them, or you'll you're sure to be sorry.
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: Steve, all right, the subject is I love the man
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: that catfished me. Okay, we'll get to the catfish thing
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: in a minute, but first, what.
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: Is wrong with you?
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Have you lost your mind?
- 1:00:36Speaker 7: Do you not?
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: Have you lost the power of reasoning and thinking? The
- 1:00:41Speaker 9: catfish thing? He don't look like his big chaw chocolate
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: buff pitcher. We'll get to that in a minute. Let's
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: get to the part where he didn't catfish. Let's go
- 1:00:53Speaker 9: to the non cat fished matter at hand. You're still
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: in your prime, your fifty six, and you don't look
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: like you tried some online dating. You used the current
- 1:01:07Speaker 9: picture yourself. You was honest with your age. You even
- 1:01:10Speaker 9: told people the grandmother that your grandmother, so wouldn't be
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: no confusion. You met this guy online. He wasn't big
- 1:01:17Speaker 9: on Texans, so insisted that we talk all the time. Girl,
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: you got to talk and and found out y'all got
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: a lot of income. All two months went by, talk talk,
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: talk talk, talk, y'all just only for just running your
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: mind two months online. You wanted the meeting. Now let's
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: get into the non catfish party. He was honest about
- 1:01:43Speaker 9: his financial issues he was having and said I'd have
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: to wait a while for him to come meet me. Alrighty,
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: you already fifty six. You dain't a man that ain't
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: got no money. I know it don't because listen to this.
- 1:02:09Speaker 9: So I decided at our age, listen to me. Since
- 1:02:13Speaker 9: you're making decisions at your age, I'm trying to figure
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: out how you came to this conclusion. I decided at
- 1:02:20Speaker 9: our age that we shouldn't have to wait for love. Okay, cool,
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: But what does that have to do with the next statement.
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: I purchased him a plane ticket for him to come
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: meet me. Lady, If this ain't off to a bad start,
- 1:02:40Speaker 9: I don't know what is. You're dating and falling for
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: a man that can't even come see you, and you're
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: a long distance relationship.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I purchased him. That is when he opened up and
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: admitted that he was falling in love with me too.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I'll be done. God, you bought him an airplane. Take
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: it hang he love.
- 1:03:02Speaker 11: With you love?
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: Part two of your response coming up at your you
- 1:03:06Speaker 10: read a papter Today's Strawberry letter subject I love the
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: man that cat fished me. We'll get back into it

- 1:03:53Speaker 10: today's strawberry letter. The subject is I love the man
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: that catfished me.
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: Fifty seven year old when kids are grown. Fifty six
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: year old woman, kids grown out the house, ain't dated
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: in a while, decided to start dating, went online, met
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: a guy. The name of the subject of the letter
- 1:04:13Speaker 9: is though I love the man that catfishman. So you
- 1:04:16Speaker 9: all know what that means. That means that the person
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: that you meet online was not the person you met online.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: He was completely somebody else.
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: But before we get into the catfishing, let's talk about
- 1:04:29Speaker 9: the real facts that's not catfish. Y'all got to talk
- 1:04:33Speaker 9: and talk for two months. You got a lot in common.
- 1:04:35Speaker 9: We both interested in the long term relationship, not necessarily married.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Then after a couple months of talking, you wanted to
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: meet him. But he was honest.
- 1:04:45Speaker 9: Here we go, this is the part where there ain't
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: catfishing come in at He was honest about his financial
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: issues and said I'd have to wait a while for
- 1:04:54Speaker 9: him to come meet me.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I decided, here we go, this where stupid kick is.
- 1:05:02Speaker 9: I decided, at our age, we shouldn't have to wait
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: to fall in love. I purchased him a plane ticket
- 1:05:14Speaker 9: for him to come meet me. If ever, there was
- 1:05:18Speaker 9: a relationship off to a bad start, here it is.
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: That was when he opened up and admitted he was
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: falling in love.
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: With me too.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: I couldn't believe it. I can't you done. Brought him
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: a ticket, so I went to pick him up at
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: the airport.
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: Now this is the perfect time to tell you that
- 1:05:40Speaker 9: he's falling in love with you too, because you're on
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: the way to the airport.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I went to pick him up, and I described my
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: car to him.
- 1:05:49Speaker 7: After a few minutes, I noticed a very tall, slightly chubby,
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: very light skinned guy with a George Jefferson haircut.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: Wow, now here come doctor Field walking towards your car.
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: Yeah, you thought Morri's Chestnut was coming, and he'll come
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: doctor Field.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Waving towards my car. It was my him.
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: And all of his pictures. He was buff, he had
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: a fade hairstyle. He was chocolate like the men I like.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: I told him. He catfished me. He got defensive and said, well,
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I can go back home. There you got a lot
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: of nerd.
- 1:06:44Speaker 7: Doog, you little chubby going ball, fat, light skinned, broke,
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: and then you got the nerd and say I'll just
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: go back home like you ain't wrong.
- 1:06:59Speaker 9: Our I allowed him to stay because, honestly, I think
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: that he's my person.
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Lady, Why.
- 1:07:09Speaker 9: What has he done to make you think he's your person?
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: Except tell you he was in love with you after
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: you bought him a ticket to see you. We had
- 1:07:20Speaker 9: a few small hiccups since that day at the airport.
- 1:07:23Speaker 9: You mean, some more lies came out, But it's great
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: to finally have a romantic partner. Romantic were talking about
- 1:07:34Speaker 9: moving in together soon, moving in where, lady, he already
- 1:07:40Speaker 9: ain't got no airplane ticket money, moving where. He gonna
- 1:07:45Speaker 9: move in with you or you move in with him.
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: I promise you you can't go there because he got
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: I stayed at my mama house, rode all over here.
- 1:07:56Speaker 9: Am I crazy for staying with this guy? After he
- 1:07:58Speaker 9: catfished me? That ain't even the catfish. That's one thing.
- 1:08:03Speaker 9: Because he don threaten to go back home. Your problem
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: is you had to buy him a ticket to come
- 1:08:10Speaker 9: see you, he explained, in this financial situation, so he
- 1:08:14Speaker 9: didn't even have the money to bring hisself there, which
- 1:08:18Speaker 9: means he don't have the money to bring you there.
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: So now, man that don't have the money to take
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: hisself somewhere, he probably don't have nowhere.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: To take you.
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: What do you think this man lives in Kee? Then
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: probably sent you a picture of a big house too.
- 1:08:38Speaker 9: He ain't tall, dark, buffed, and he doesn't have a fade.
- 1:08:43Speaker 9: Nobody fades they have from the top nobody.
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: That's not how we fail.
- 1:08:51Speaker 9: The fade starts from the temple area of the hen.
- 1:08:56Speaker 9: We don't run a raise across the top of our
- 1:08:59Speaker 9: head from the top down.
- 1:09:04Speaker 11: That visual is crazy.
- 1:09:06Speaker 9: Lady, what are you doing? Lady, listen to me. Run
- 1:09:15Speaker 9: run Stop having a relationship with doctor Field. Stop he chubby,
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: he don't work out, and doctor Field ain't chubby though,
- 1:09:31Speaker 9: But just to George have George Jefferson hairstyle, light skin,
- 1:09:36Speaker 9: that's the doctor philder. This ain't who you got, and
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: doctor Field got money, and doctor Field would have sent
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: his plane to pick you up. You didn't get Doctor Field, though,
- 1:09:48Speaker 9: did you You got George Jefferson's dollar?

- 1:14:12Speaker 8: All right.
- 1:14:12Speaker 10: This is from Jay and Steve Harvey FM. Jay says,
- 1:14:15Speaker 10: a couple of months ago, I bought tickets for my
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: girlfriend and me to a concert that is happening next year.
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: A concert that's happening next year. The show is several
- 1:14:24Speaker 10: months away. But yesterday my now ex girlfriend told me
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: she'd been seeing someone else and broke things off with me.
- 1:14:32Speaker 10: At the end of the breakup conversation, she asked when
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: I would be able to forward her the tickets.
- 1:14:37Speaker 11: Since they were for us, I see no reason that
- 1:14:40Speaker 11: they should now be hers.
- 1:14:42Speaker 10: Is there any reason at all that I should feel
- 1:14:45Speaker 10: obligated to pass them along to her so she can
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: go with this other dude or even sell them herself.
- 1:14:51Speaker 10: My friends say, let her have them and be through
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: with her. By the way, the concert is Tony Braxton. Ooh,
- 1:14:56Speaker 10: new edition and Boys to men.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: I wish I would buy some tickets for me and
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: my girl. We break up.
- 1:15:07Speaker 9: She asks for the tickets and tell you she seeing
- 1:15:09Speaker 9: somebody else or see somebody else. Need to afford you
- 1:15:14Speaker 9: the lifestyle that you want. That's right, No, girl, get
- 1:15:20Speaker 9: them dog. Look, dude, let me tell you something. I
- 1:15:24Speaker 9: have a bad chick with me at that concert.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: So fast, so fast, look at me now, all right?
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: If you give her them tickets, you you, you go
- 1:15:41Speaker 9: right to the top of the stupidness.
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: Yeah, but what about his friends? They're pressuring him. I'll
- 1:15:47Speaker 10: just give her the tickets and be through with her.
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: No way.
- 1:15:55Speaker 9: You must be in a group of like nerd type
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: dudes or something like that. I ain't got a and
- 1:16:00Speaker 9: nowhere will go. Man, just give it the tickets that'll
- 1:16:03Speaker 9: go with the other band. And she confessed, I don't.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: Know no people like that.
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: Okay, all right, so that's a big fat all My
- 1:16:16Speaker 9: friends now hate her too, as it's.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a friend who uh now we own
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: in that city.
- 1:16:27Speaker 10: I pass No, I can't tell it. Yeah, all right,
- 1:16:30Speaker 10: Uh we're gonna move on. Then we have time for
- 1:16:33Speaker 10: another one. This is from d On Steve Harvey fm
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: D says, I have four kids in three different schools,
- 1:16:40Speaker 10: and their combined extracurricular schedules are so chaotic that I'm
- 1:16:44Speaker 10: constantly racing from one place to another, always feeling like
- 1:16:48Speaker 10: I'm letting someone down. Between band concerts, football practices, science
- 1:16:52Speaker 10: club meetings, after school tutoring, and my own work schedule,
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: there's no way to physically be at everything, but every
- 1:17:00Speaker 10: missed event makes me feel like I'm failing as a parent.
- 1:17:03Speaker 10: I've tried color coding calendars and coordinating carpools, but there's
- 1:17:08Speaker 10: still earnt enough hours in a day to be the
- 1:17:10Speaker 10: kind of present involved mom I want to be. Lately,
- 1:17:14Speaker 10: I've been lying in bed wondering if my kids will
- 1:17:16Speaker 10: look back and remember me as the mom who wasn't
- 1:17:19Speaker 10: there even though I'm doing everything I can. How do
- 1:17:23Speaker 10: parents figure out what's enough when it feels impossible to
- 1:17:26Speaker 10: keep up?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Wow Oo, I'm not gonna help you. I'm just gonna
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: be honest with you. This is where dad is necessary. Yeah,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I didn't go to nothing, so I didn't, oh because
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: you were working.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Take that guilt away, because yeah, the best, the best
- 1:17:46Speaker 6: you can. Maybe she can get a girlfriend group and
- 1:17:50Speaker 6: that's that's kind of like what we do. We have
- 1:17:52Speaker 6: a girlfriend group, so we kind of support each other.
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: You look in the stands, that kid look in the stands.
- 1:17:57Speaker 6: If one mom can't be there, then the girlfriend is there.
- 1:18:00Speaker 6: It's like an auntie group and we.
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: Represent and but there's no such thing as no mom
- 1:18:10Speaker 10: guilt because you're you're gonna have it out of white yourself.
- 1:18:15Speaker 10: But you're gonna have it if you're a mom. You
- 1:18:17Speaker 10: just really, I mean, that's the truth, you know, because
- 1:18:19Speaker 10: you want to be there, but you just can't.
- 1:18:21Speaker 11: But you want to be there.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't do everything. YEA, one in the band
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: got to stop being in the band.
- 1:18:29Speaker 11: We gotta pull something out, how you.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Yeah, we're going to grade these activities on the three three.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: You know, I'm not coming.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: You ain't that good playing the.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: Club. I'm not coming down there.
- 1:18:47Speaker 11: That you're doing the best you can.

- 1:21:52Speaker 7: watch the whole episode.
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: As the world turn put it all on.

- 1:25:37Speaker 8: You know unc people? Uh, you say you have no
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: faith in people? None.
- 1:25:42Speaker 9: I told y'all, Junior, So you want to bring it on?
- 1:25:51Speaker 9: I told y'all, I told you I got them, gave
- 1:25:55Speaker 9: him a level of intelligence. That's what he was hoping for.
- 1:25:58Speaker 9: Junior got lewards and but they look really nice though.
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: Junior got a nice pair of glasses on. They look
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: exactly like the pair of Carl and Monica got on.
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: Let me see the side of him, Jr. Let me
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: see what do you turn to the side?
- 1:26:14Speaker 9: Yeah, hey man, let me see it. Let me see
- 1:26:17Speaker 9: it without the hat so I could see it. Yeah,
- 1:26:20Speaker 9: asking a lot. Take the hat off.
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: He they different? You just you just went into an
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: insect commercial.
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: If this ain't John Save, he don't look like he
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: could be on the raid commercial right now.
- 1:26:40Speaker 11: But at least he can see now.
- 1:26:42Speaker 8: Least he can I can see now, Yes, it's good,
- 1:26:45Speaker 8: so so so, Junior, what's the question again?
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: You know.
- 1:26:51Speaker 12: When you when you put your faith in people, they'll
- 1:26:53Speaker 12: let you down and you feel some type of way
- 1:26:56Speaker 12: because you wouldn't do that, you wouldn't do it.
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: And well it feels some type of way.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: About it too. You fuild it, you do well.
- 1:27:06Speaker 9: You know what I think, all of us, all of
- 1:27:09Speaker 9: us on this radio show, who I've known for a
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: number of years, is like family to me. You know,
- 1:27:15Speaker 9: when you sit on the radio as much as we
- 1:27:18Speaker 9: do with each other, through every commercial break, every song,
- 1:27:22Speaker 9: all of it, every down to every technical difficulty, we
- 1:27:27Speaker 9: have spent an enormous amount of time talking. I mean,
- 1:27:32Speaker 9: we know each other's kids, grandkids, We know where each
- 1:27:36Speaker 9: other everybody go to school, We know graduations, we know
- 1:27:39Speaker 9: big events. We know Tasha was in Macy's Day parade.
- 1:27:43Speaker 9: We know about each other. We know how long Tasha
- 1:27:47Speaker 9: been in cheer. We watched Tommy's kids grow up, go
- 1:27:53Speaker 9: to college. We watch that, y'all have watched my life.
- 1:27:58Speaker 9: We know each other and you're not gonna find another you,
- 1:28:06Speaker 9: and you can quit looking for you. That has been
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: so disappointing to me in my life till I finally
- 1:28:13Speaker 9: had to learn Steve stopped looking for another you that
- 1:28:17Speaker 9: are no more. And if you keep looking for another you,
- 1:28:21Speaker 9: you're gonna be disappointed.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Over and over and over.
- 1:28:24Speaker 9: How you would do a person's gonna be very hard
- 1:28:27Speaker 9: to find people that would do you the same way.
- 1:28:30Speaker 9: It's hard, man, now, and especially in family, you could
- 1:28:34Speaker 9: just throw that out the window because you don't get
- 1:28:36Speaker 9: to pick them now. I have some friends who I
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: have picked over the years that I choose to associate
- 1:28:43Speaker 9: myself with, who are more like I am, who call
- 1:28:48Speaker 9: and check on me, what ain't nothing wrong?
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: Hey, man?
- 1:28:51Speaker 9: I got three dudes that if I picked the phone
- 1:28:54Speaker 9: up right now and I said, hey man, I got
- 1:28:57Speaker 9: a problem with this cat down here, man, But I
- 1:28:59Speaker 9: can't do nothing because you know my situation. I'm on
- 1:29:02Speaker 9: the plane, man, and they'll get on the plane. I
- 1:29:05Speaker 9: know three people right now I can call and say
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: I can tell them anything, and they coming without question.
- 1:29:15Speaker 9: But they've been tested and true over a number of years.
- 1:29:18Speaker 9: I have a friend that I've been friends with for
- 1:29:20Speaker 9: sixty four years. He has proven nothing to be nothing
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: except my friend. I'm down, he coming, he down, I'm coming.
- 1:29:30Speaker 9: Everybody else Man, I don't really count on people to
- 1:29:34Speaker 9: be like me. And a lot of times, especially if
- 1:29:37Speaker 9: you're the chosen one, if you're the one in your
- 1:29:40Speaker 9: family that made the breakthrough, which all of you are
- 1:29:43Speaker 9: on this show, Mississippi Monica included, all of you are
- 1:29:46Speaker 9: on this show. Do you know how many times you're
- 1:29:48Speaker 9: gonna be disappointed? You know how many ways you're gonna
- 1:29:51Speaker 9: get pulled in? I need this, I want that cause
- 1:29:55Speaker 9: they know and they think you got it and you
