- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show, this one today. I want to share with you. Uh.
- 2:17Speaker 1: It's for all of us. It's for all of us. Uh,
- 2:22Speaker 1: And here it is. There is a solution to all
- 2:30Speaker 1: of your problems in situations. There is a solution to
- 2:36Speaker 1: all of your problems and situations. If you are feeling this,
- 2:45Speaker 1: are you feeling desperate about something and anxious about it?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Are you feeling uncertain about anything? Are you at a
- 2:55Speaker 1: loss for words? Are you is your direct shouldn't unclear?
- 3:02Speaker 1: How about that? If you can't find your purpose, that's
- 3:07Speaker 1: a good one. That stops a lot of people. If
- 3:10Speaker 1: you don't know what your next move is, that's to go.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I don't. I don't care what it is. If if
- 3:16Speaker 1: if the relationship you're in it's all wrong and you
- 3:20Speaker 1: don't know how to get out of it, it doesn't matter.
- 3:24Speaker 1: There's a solution to all your problems and situations. And
- 3:31Speaker 1: that solution without trying to sound like I've been knowing
- 3:36Speaker 1: this my whole life, because I haven't. That solution to
- 3:41Speaker 1: all your problems. That way to make all your dreams
- 3:44Speaker 1: come true. The way around a lot of this and
- 3:49Speaker 1: to the weakness that you feel at times, it's prayer, prayer,
- 3:55Speaker 1: a connection with your creator. Could that be a thing
- 4:00Speaker 1: that's missing in your life. I'm just asking because whenever
- 4:05Speaker 1: I get a little bit off track, all I gotta
- 4:10Speaker 1: do is think, just a moment, Steve, have you been
- 4:14Speaker 1: Have you been praying? Man? Have you been connecting with
- 4:17Speaker 1: your creative? I know you're busy, man, I know you're busy,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and I know at the end of the day you're done.
- 4:24Speaker 1: You're done, and sometimes crawling into bed is all you
- 4:28Speaker 1: can manage to do. I've said this. It happened to
- 4:31Speaker 1: me last night. Again, I did all of this. But
- 4:35Speaker 1: when I look and when I see things not moving,
- 4:40Speaker 1: or I don't feel like things are going in the
- 4:42Speaker 1: right direction, or I have a sense of being stagnant,
- 4:46Speaker 1: all I got to do is retrace it. Because I'm working.
- 4:50Speaker 1: There's no doubt about that. I'm working. But I'm a
- 4:54Speaker 1: staying connected. Am I using that weapon that's available to
- 4:59Speaker 1: all of us my prey? And the answer is usually no?
- 5:03Speaker 1: And so I know, okay, okay, man, I'm I'm getting
- 5:05Speaker 1: off track hill because see, let me tell you something. Man.
- 5:09Speaker 1: The reason the reason I constantly talk to God is
- 5:13Speaker 1: because life constantly changes. People who said they was going
- 5:17Speaker 1: to do something for you one day have changed their
- 5:20Speaker 1: mind the next. Somebody you thought was gonna show up
- 5:25Speaker 1: that day called in late, had an accident and couldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: make it. That changes the parameters of everything. The meeting
- 5:33Speaker 1: you had set up that had to be canceled because
- 5:35Speaker 1: somebody was ill. That changes the parameters the time frame
- 5:40Speaker 1: of everything. Because it's all connected. So if I don't
- 5:44Speaker 1: stay in constant prayer and stay connected to the creative
- 5:48Speaker 1: when these thing's happen, I'm not put in my bid.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I've not talked to him about how to handle it. Oh,
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm just not aware of it and what to do next.
- 5:58Speaker 1: And the next thing you know, it becomes a little stagnant.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That has happened to me. I gotta get back because
- 6:05Speaker 1: prayer is the solution to all of my problems and situations.
- 6:11Speaker 1: I have found that to be the case now. The
- 6:13Speaker 1: only reason I'm telling it to you is because I
- 6:15Speaker 1: know if you anything like me slash human being, then
- 6:20Speaker 1: there are times that you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation.
- 6:26Speaker 1: You have moments of uncertainty. There are times when you
- 6:30Speaker 1: feel like you've lost your way, or your direction is unclear,
- 6:36Speaker 1: or you or your purpose is a little blurred. You're
- 6:39Speaker 1: not shooing anymore, or you don't know what your next
- 6:42Speaker 1: movie is, or the relationship you in or the relationships
- 6:46Speaker 1: you're dabbling in. They're just all wrong for you. Man.
- 6:52Speaker 1: There is a solution to all your problems and situations,
- 6:56Speaker 1: and it's prayer. If you're suffering from any of the
- 6:59Speaker 1: things I just listed, or any other thing you could
- 7:02Speaker 1: think of, just check your prayer. What has your prayer
- 7:05Speaker 1: been lately about it? And this is for everybody. I
- 7:11Speaker 1: often find when I get that disconnection. Man, my my
- 7:15Speaker 1: prayer and slipped off. I started feeling a little bit less,
- 7:19Speaker 1: so I gotta jump back on it. I'm just offering
- 7:22Speaker 1: you a solution to it, man, and and and and
- 7:25Speaker 1: and and I'm giving you a solution that works one
- 7:27Speaker 1: of the thousand percent for show. See, I ain't guessing
- 7:32Speaker 1: at this one. I'm telling you what has happened in
- 7:35Speaker 1: my life, how I did it, and it'll do for you.
- 7:38Speaker 1: God has filled with mercy and grace. He knows we
- 7:42Speaker 1: all messed up. He knows all of us have done
- 7:45Speaker 1: some jacked up things that don't nobody know about. He
- 7:48Speaker 1: know all about our past. Man, he know all of that.
- 7:53Speaker 1: But he is so full of grace and mercy, so
- 7:56Speaker 1: full of fifty fifth chances. But you know the thing
- 8:00Speaker 1: about your life though, and the thing I had to
- 8:03Speaker 1: come to terms with, and the reason I don't let
- 8:05Speaker 1: my my out of the reason I don't let my
- 8:07Speaker 1: past bury me. The reason I don't let my past
- 8:10Speaker 1: define me is because my past I found out, or
- 8:16Speaker 1: just the ingredients needed for me to make this cake
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm eating now. My past is just my ingredients. See
- 8:29Speaker 1: you you don't get rid of your past. They theyin't
- 8:34Speaker 1: go on know where they are the ingredients, but when
- 8:36Speaker 1: you put them with something else, they look better, they
- 8:39Speaker 1: taste better, It is better. All of our past are
- 8:44Speaker 1: just the ingredients that have become the cake we eating now. Now,
- 8:48Speaker 1: if you don't like the way your cake taste, then
- 8:50Speaker 1: you gotta stop putting some other ingredients in there. Just
- 8:53Speaker 1: because you started off and your cake was messed up,
- 8:57Speaker 1: don't mean you can't straighten out the flavor of your cake.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's
- 9:04Speaker 1: say your cake is trifling tasted, it's better. Your cake
- 9:08Speaker 1: is better. Well, you got to dilute the bitterness. You
- 9:11Speaker 1: gotta put some more goodness in there. So you gotta
- 9:14Speaker 1: put some goodness ingredients to to take away the taste
- 9:18Speaker 1: of the bitterness. So you gotta put some different ingredients
- 9:22Speaker 1: in there. You gotta start living your life a little
- 9:24Speaker 1: more kindly, a little more thoughtful, a little more sharing,
- 9:28Speaker 1: a little more caring. And then after a while, man
- 9:31Speaker 1: those new ingredients combined with that bitter it starts overshadowing
- 9:35Speaker 1: the bitter taste, because the bitter taste is further behind
- 9:38Speaker 1: you now see something that happened to you twelve fifteen,
- 9:43Speaker 1: thirty sixteen years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor
- 9:47Speaker 1: that's in your mouth now unless you let it be.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It's the ingredients, man, If you're sicking away your cake tasting,
- 9:56Speaker 1: change your ingredients. Put something else in your cake mix
- 10:01Speaker 1: so you can get a better taste if you don't
- 10:05Speaker 1: like the way your life taste. Pray Prayer changes things.
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'm telling you, I've been here my mama saying for years, boy,
- 10:14Speaker 1: prayer changes things. Do you hear me? Prayer changes things?
- 10:21Speaker 1: Don't my mama? You said to me all the time.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I said to my TV artist, is when they come
- 10:25Speaker 1: see me on the talk show, before I walk on stage,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I tell them these words my mother said. I said,
- 10:31Speaker 1: my mother used to always tell me this, and it's
- 10:33Speaker 1: bailed me out, and it might do the same thing
- 10:35Speaker 1: for you. I said, whatever I get in trouble, I
- 10:39Speaker 1: hear her words. She says, son, don't forget to pray,
- 10:43Speaker 1: don't be ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud
- 10:47Speaker 1: to pray, because prayer, prayer changes things. And you better
- 10:52Speaker 1: believe something. It one hundred percent showed do show he
- 11:03Speaker 1: boke it man heading there's a train coming. You don't
- 11:11Speaker 1: need no ticker, You're just gett old boy, all you
- 11:19Speaker 1: need is faith when you hear the des o harming Now, uh,
- 11:32Speaker 1: you remember the late great Curtis Mayfield. Of course I do. Yes,
- 11:38Speaker 1: people don't talk about him that much anymore, but he
- 11:40Speaker 1: was greatness. Why y'all doing this morning? Good? Good? Speaking
- 11:46Speaker 1: of greatness? How well you know? I'm good? You know,
- 11:53Speaker 1: excited this morning, energize, you know, ready to get at
- 11:58Speaker 1: it another day. None of us won the lottery. Huh no,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you you hear me, don't you? A loud and clear Okay.
- 12:10Speaker 1: So the winning numbers, the Mega million winning numbers was
- 12:13Speaker 1: five sixty two, sixty, seventy and five. They say the
- 12:21Speaker 1: winner is in South Carolina. Then they said there's a
- 12:24Speaker 1: winner who got five of the numbers right in San Francisco.
- 12:28Speaker 1: So we'll see. I think of them. One of the
- 12:34Speaker 1: numbers got a couple of numbers on different tickets. I
- 12:38Speaker 1: didn't play. I did because if I lose, I'm gonna
- 12:44Speaker 1: be so mad. Surely you lost. I didn't play, but
- 12:48Speaker 1: I didn't play, so I'm cool. I just set my
- 12:51Speaker 1: money man three thousand dollars worth for tickets. My wife
- 12:58Speaker 1: would ya wanted at three thousand? I got three thousand
- 13:01Speaker 1: from one point six. I've cut that deal all day long.
- 13:08Speaker 1: I think I got three numbers. I think I got
- 13:09Speaker 1: ten dollars. That's all you get for ten for ten,
- 13:14Speaker 1: three for three numbers dollars. I'm not even driving my
- 13:19Speaker 1: car back down back with so much attitude here Marjorie
- 13:31Speaker 1: won last week. She had four the numbers she won
- 13:34Speaker 1: for eighty. That was good. So you went four out
- 13:38Speaker 1: of what six? Yeah? We were in the big one,
- 13:46Speaker 1: that one point six nine hundred thousand allar about? Yeah?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Well what about tonight? You could do the Powerball six million? Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I might play that. I bought those tickets to even
- 14:01Speaker 1: that even? Is that to walk away from everything? To ask?
- 14:10Speaker 1: So if you if you spend two thousand dollars worth
- 14:13Speaker 1: of tickets, if you win, you just win the one
- 14:17Speaker 1: point six billion, I mean, I don't mean it like that,
- 14:21Speaker 1: but did you do you even play one point six? Right? Look,
- 14:33Speaker 1: lottery fevers in the air. We're gonna tell you who
- 14:36Speaker 1: else spend big money on these lot of tickets too.
- 14:39Speaker 1: We'll tell you that when we come back at thirty
- 14:41Speaker 1: two after the hour right after this. You're listening to
- 14:44Speaker 1: the Steve Morning Show. Lottery fever is in the air.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's everywhere. The Mega million dollar jackpot was last night
- 14:53Speaker 1: and then tonight. Now, Steve, tonight is the powerball drawing
- 14:57Speaker 1: for six hundred and twenty million dollars. I got my
- 15:00Speaker 1: think you got him already. I'm might bust up for tonight. Okay,
- 15:04Speaker 1: uh well, Steve, listen to this professional boxer and extremely
- 15:08Speaker 1: wealthy person, Floyd Money. Mayweather was spotted in l A
- 15:12Speaker 1: the other night buying same amount Steve, two thousand dollars
- 15:16Speaker 1: worth of lottery tickets. Okay, Now, Floyd is rather wealthy
- 15:21Speaker 1: like you, Steve. He has a net worth of six
- 15:24Speaker 1: hundred million. Yes, well, I mean you're rather wealthy. You're
- 15:29Speaker 1: you're rather wealthy. Anyway, I don't know what your net
- 15:31Speaker 1: worth is. I'm telling you, well, Floyd's is six hundred million.
- 15:38Speaker 1: So I mean, does he really I mean, do you
- 15:41Speaker 1: really need it after you have already so much money?
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm asking, yes, what did you talk about need? Don't
- 15:49Speaker 1: nobody need one point six billion? But oh, y'all want it,
- 15:53Speaker 1: don don't you right? We want it? But but I'm saying,
- 15:57Speaker 1: if I had six hundred millions that that wouldn't be enough. Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: you need more? Yeah, I mean what else can you fire? Door?
- 16:06Speaker 1: I mean that's that's that small man? What else can
- 16:14Speaker 1: you buy? Six time? You million? That's not enough to live?
- 16:19Speaker 1: He already living. You want to leave some mo You
- 16:25Speaker 1: got six on the meal. You don't need nothing. We
- 16:27Speaker 1: have to need games. He just won't. I won't one
- 16:32Speaker 1: point six but I don't need it. But I promise
- 16:35Speaker 1: you if you give it to me, y'all can follow
- 16:38Speaker 1: me with a kim. I'm gonna do a reality show.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Y'all come on following me, because it's about the last
- 16:47Speaker 1: time you're gonna see me anyway. Then you'll finally do
- 16:49Speaker 1: a reality show. Right brother, I'm telling you right now
- 16:53Speaker 1: it six tons of meal or square me straight up?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Well yeah, six d and twenty million? So what would
- 17:01Speaker 1: you do? What would you do with it? Steven? Six million?
- 17:07Speaker 1: Five hundred million goes into this a friend of mines,
- 17:12Speaker 1: uh fun and the minimum is twelve percent, So five
- 17:18Speaker 1: hundred million go into that right away? That other one
- 17:21Speaker 1: twenty what's that gonna do? Give you? Give you a
- 17:24Speaker 1: listen though, Steve, that six hundred and twenty million. The
- 17:27Speaker 1: cash value is three hundred and fifty four Yeah, okay, whatever, Yeah,
- 17:32Speaker 1: give me that. I take that. The cashhot is how much?
- 17:40Speaker 1: Three hundred and fifty four point three three Okay, I
- 17:47Speaker 1: take two hundred and fifty millions. Put it in that
- 17:52Speaker 1: same investment count at twelve percent, and I'm living on
- 17:57Speaker 1: thirty million a year interest. You get the check for
- 18:01Speaker 1: that twelve months to thirty twelve months, you get thirty millions,
- 18:07Speaker 1: and you will still have the two hundred and fifty millions.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So you need to counsel some of those people who
- 18:13Speaker 1: have won the lottery, ain't I ain't counseling nobody. Don't me.
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm changing my numbers soon as I win, because you
- 18:19Speaker 1: all those people who have one and and they're broke. Now, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you see those shows, those lottery shows. Huh so that started.
- 18:29Speaker 1: So I got one fifty two left. I got a
- 18:36Speaker 1: hundred fifty two millions. Okay, I got a hundred fifty
- 18:39Speaker 1: two million. That money to bank, all right, I'm gonna
- 18:43Speaker 1: go buy me a new house. I'm gonna buy a
- 18:46Speaker 1: new house, probably gonna take about oh tween thirty five
- 18:53Speaker 1: and fifty million. Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna get somewhere you
- 19:00Speaker 1: walk around in it. I'm telling you, I want your
- 19:02Speaker 1: breathing hard the whole time. Okay, Now, I gotta hunted left.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Look at that, but I but I will. I probably
- 19:17Speaker 1: financed the house though you wouldn't pay cash. No, No,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you need that for a tax, right though, So I
- 19:25Speaker 1: probably financing, put a little down and gonna take that note,
- 19:30Speaker 1: and I'm gonna let the interest that I'm making this
- 19:32Speaker 1: thirty million paid a note, what's gonna be way cheaper.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So I'm gonna use their money my interest, gonna pay
- 19:40Speaker 1: the note. I got hunted left. I love how you
- 19:43Speaker 1: break it. I'm going i gotta go get me a plane.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm giving nice youth playing. Probably gonna spend about probably
- 19:51Speaker 1: about that. Oh, it's gonna have wonder love on the tail.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I'm they're gonna have one that's your nickname. Then I'm
- 20:08Speaker 1: gonna have sertified left that sif I'm gonna give each
- 20:15Speaker 1: one of my kids, all seven of my kids, I'm
- 20:19Speaker 1: gonna give him ten million a piece. Ok. But I'm
- 20:23Speaker 1: gonna put it in an investment account that they have
- 20:26Speaker 1: to I have to sign off on all the investments.
- 20:29Speaker 1: And the only thing they can do with the money
- 20:31Speaker 1: is by real estate or business investment only? Oh okay, okay, yes,
- 20:38Speaker 1: not give Lori ten million. Now it'll be malls closing
- 20:45Speaker 1: for her. I can't give Winton ten millions when when yeah, yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 1: weren't probably try to buy a play with History Possi. Alright, Steve,
- 20:57Speaker 1: coming up next in Voting News Democrats Stacy Abrams. She's
- 21:01Speaker 1: defending burning the Confederate flag. I don't care what she's
- 21:04Speaker 1: accused of doing. You have a president that said he
- 21:08Speaker 1: grabbing women by the pet I don't care if she
- 21:10Speaker 1: said the Confederate flag on fire and went in night
- 21:12Speaker 1: while she was in college, skipped that. This woman is qualified.
- 21:16Speaker 1: And we got to get to the polls in Georgia
- 21:19Speaker 1: and get Stacy Abrams voted in. And we got to
- 21:22Speaker 1: get to these polls down in Florida, and we gotta
- 21:25Speaker 1: get Gilliam voted in. And I'm telling you you got
- 21:29Speaker 1: to get to these polls because this voter suppression thing
- 21:32Speaker 1: is real in Georgia. Man, Yes it is. We'll talk
- 21:34Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening Steve Show. All right, guys,
- 21:40Speaker 1: last night was the debate in Georgia between the gubernatorial candidates.
- 21:45Speaker 1: The headlines before the debate was about Democratic candidate Stacy Abrams,
- 21:49Speaker 1: who has defended her action of burning the old Georgia
- 21:53Speaker 1: State Confederate flag back in and she was a college
- 21:56Speaker 1: student at Spellman. We all know the Georgia State Confederate
- 22:00Speaker 1: flag was a symbol of white supremacy. Ms. Abrams tweeted
- 22:03Speaker 1: that she was proud to be on the right side
- 22:06Speaker 1: of history and who have fought against hate her entire life. Right,
- 22:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm your Look, they got a lot of nerve
- 22:18Speaker 1: to talk about this Confederate flag when the symbol of
- 22:22Speaker 1: that Confederate flag. And y'all can't flip the script on
- 22:26Speaker 1: us for this like you did that Colin kapernick uh,
- 22:29Speaker 1: Calin Kaepernick or kneeling you turned that into the flag issue.
- 22:34Speaker 1: That flag, for so many people represents hatred, slavery, Civil
- 22:41Speaker 1: Civil War. If you don't think that they were fighting
- 22:44Speaker 1: to keep slavery alive, you're deadly wrong. And that flag
- 22:49Speaker 1: represented a lot of pain for black folks. A lot
- 22:53Speaker 1: of clansmen carries that flag. If you look at every
- 22:57Speaker 1: clan rally they got today, they got that flagg with him.
- 23:01Speaker 1: I I do not care that she did that. That
- 23:06Speaker 1: doesn't bother me, not one bit. You have the audacity
- 23:11Speaker 1: to call yourself the moral party, and then you turn
- 23:14Speaker 1: around and you vote for a man who has done
- 23:18Speaker 1: more immoral things known publicly of any president ever, and
- 23:25Speaker 1: he in the White House. Come and let me tell
- 23:28Speaker 1: you something. The the paying off the pawn stars, they're
- 23:32Speaker 1: taking the playboyd buddies to your house where your wife lives,
- 23:36Speaker 1: all of that. I mean, look, he didn't grabbing women
- 23:40Speaker 1: by the pet, laughing about it, telling jokes, making jokes
- 23:43Speaker 1: about disabled people, calling Native Americans pokehonness, there goes my
- 23:49Speaker 1: African American. I mean, he just repeatedly does everything and
- 23:54Speaker 1: so if that's okay with you, then this is okay
- 23:57Speaker 1: with us, And it is okay, Steve, with a lot
- 24:01Speaker 1: of people what Donald Trump has done. He's got a
- 24:04Speaker 1: lot of support out there. A lot of people think
- 24:06Speaker 1: he's doing a fine job. He's done some things that
- 24:11Speaker 1: he's getting credit for because it's on his watch, and
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's okay. Manufacturing jobs are unemployment? Is that all term?
- 24:20Speaker 1: You know? The economy is booming? Uh, the tax code
- 24:24Speaker 1: that he passed, he's done some things. They should talk
- 24:27Speaker 1: about that. But what he's done for the country in
- 24:33Speaker 1: terms of unifying the people that he was elected to
- 24:36Speaker 1: govern has been horrible, has been horrible. He's not governing
- 24:43Speaker 1: all people, doing his base. He's doing. Yeah, yeah, he's
- 24:49Speaker 1: governing his base. But the sad thing about it is
- 24:53Speaker 1: his base doesn't know. This has no effect on their life.
- 24:58Speaker 1: They don't even know it. It's so say it so.
- 25:01Speaker 1: So see, we have the Stacy Abrams issue going on
- 25:04Speaker 1: in Georgia. Meanwhile, in Florida, now this is according to
- 25:08Speaker 1: the Huffington's Post, voters in Florida received a racist robocall
- 25:12Speaker 1: from a white supremacist group in Idaho and speaking in
- 25:16Speaker 1: an exaggerated, like menstrual type dialect, trying to discourage voters
- 25:20Speaker 1: from voting for Democratic Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gilliam. Take
- 25:26Speaker 1: a listen to this. Take a listen. Well, hello, the
- 25:32Speaker 1: abbe acute Florida. Okay, okay, yes, that's all we play.
- 25:43Speaker 1: And you know, because that's enough. Here's what we have
- 25:47Speaker 1: to understand that that is a racist component going on
- 25:52Speaker 1: every time a black person runs, yes for an office,
- 25:56Speaker 1: and he'll be the first black governor of Florida. And
- 25:59Speaker 1: so now all the way in Iowa, Idaho. This base
- 26:05Speaker 1: of people has this group out that sent this robot
- 26:09Speaker 1: call out that's ringing up people's phones in Florida all
- 26:13Speaker 1: over the place, and to do something so blatantly racist
- 26:19Speaker 1: against a man. Listen to me, We have got to
- 26:24Speaker 1: go to these polls to show them that the real
- 26:28Speaker 1: power is not in name calling. The real power is
- 26:32Speaker 1: not in racism. The real power is not in insulting us.
- 26:37Speaker 1: The real power is not in voter oppression. The real
- 26:41Speaker 1: power is in voting. That you can vote this type
- 26:45Speaker 1: of behavior and suppress that. You're right. That's one of
- 26:49Speaker 1: the reasons, you know, I think it's important to play
- 26:52Speaker 1: this this kind of thing, because this is the kind
- 26:55Speaker 1: of thing that should make you get out and vote.
- 26:57Speaker 1: If that, if that makes you angry, get it out
- 27:00Speaker 1: and vote, cast your vote, do your civic duty. You're
- 27:03Speaker 1: absolutely right, because it's horrible what they're doing. It's they're
- 27:08Speaker 1: not talking about issues. They're talking about flat out pure
- 27:13Speaker 1: hatred of a person because of the color of their skins. Now,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams in Georgia, we got to get out and vote.
- 27:24Speaker 1: A lot of people have been vote, been talking about voting.
- 27:27Speaker 1: They're concerned about the number of rappers that's backing Stacy Abril.
- 27:34Speaker 1: They're concerned about that. I saw an audio tape of
- 27:38Speaker 1: them talking about it on the phone to They have
- 27:41Speaker 1: a right to vote just like you do. What are
- 27:43Speaker 1: you talking about? But see, listen to me. What we
- 27:45Speaker 1: got to do is we got to show up. This
- 27:48Speaker 1: is who we are. We are people who vote. You know,
- 27:53Speaker 1: we did it in two thousand eight we did it
- 27:55Speaker 1: in two thousand twelve. We got to do it again
- 27:58Speaker 1: in two thousand eighteen. See we slept it in two
- 28:00Speaker 1: thousand sixteen, and you see what happens time. But we've
- 28:09Speaker 1: got to get out November six and vide for our
- 28:12Speaker 1: right to vote. They really did. They gave their lives.
- 28:15Speaker 1: We have to do. It's sickening that in two thousand
- 28:19Speaker 1: and eighteen we have to deal with some minstrel white
- 28:24Speaker 1: man wants to make fun of this brother down in
- 28:28Speaker 1: Florida and he way over in Idaho. Man don't know
- 28:35Speaker 1: nothing about himself. He black, and you don't want him
- 28:37Speaker 1: in because you want to protect a certain base, a
- 28:42Speaker 1: certain and this base is getting on my nerves because
- 28:45Speaker 1: that base right there, it's very reflective of the leadership
- 28:50Speaker 1: and I'm telling you, man, he plays to them. He
- 28:53Speaker 1: goes to these rallies. These rallies ain't to talk policy.
- 28:58Speaker 1: It's a comedy show. It's a routine here there telling jokes.
- 29:02Speaker 1: He's performing. He loves it, man, he loves people clapping
- 29:07Speaker 1: for him. He's a narcissist. Man. This guy is just
- 29:13Speaker 1: if you like me cool, That's why he sat up
- 29:15Speaker 1: there and he listened to Kanye for so long. How
- 29:17Speaker 1: does Kanye get an audience in the over office to
- 29:21Speaker 1: talk about nothing? This is the type of plane you
- 29:25Speaker 1: are to be on. You like a father to me
- 29:28Speaker 1: when I when I put this hat on, it's like
- 29:30Speaker 1: the superman Kate. Let a hug man? Man? How easy?
- 29:37Speaker 1: How does this red hat feel like a superman Kate?
- 29:41Speaker 1: When the words on the hat says make America great Again?
- 29:45Speaker 1: And I need to know from Kanye what period does
- 29:48Speaker 1: he want to go back to that makes America great
- 29:51Speaker 1: again for us? Because the damn Show wasn't his seventies.
- 29:55Speaker 1: It damn show wasn't his sixties. It damned show was
- 29:57Speaker 1: in the end of the fifties. I was here for
- 29:59Speaker 1: all of them. Well, thankfully he's quiet right now. Steve
- 30:02Speaker 1: coming up in entertainment news. Megan Kelly apologizes for her
- 30:06Speaker 1: black face comments. We'll talk about it right. I'm sick
- 30:11Speaker 1: of this now, I'm sick of it. You're listening to
- 30:14Speaker 1: morning show. Uh. Megan Kelly has apologized for saying wearing
- 30:21Speaker 1: black face and Halloween was okay when she was a child.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after you take a listen
- 30:27Speaker 1: to this, But well, what is racist? Because because truly,
- 30:30Speaker 1: you do get in trouble if you are a white
- 30:32Speaker 1: person who puts on black face Halloween or a black
- 30:34Speaker 1: person who puts on white face for Halloween. Like back
- 30:38Speaker 1: when I was a kid, that was okay as long
- 30:39Speaker 1: as you were dressing me. But it's like a character.
- 30:41Speaker 1: If somebody feels like something is offensive to them, then
- 30:44Speaker 1: you should say it. And that's fair game. And I'm
- 30:46Speaker 1: to if you can dress up, you gotta be able
- 30:48Speaker 1: to take it. One of the things they mentioned is
- 30:50Speaker 1: people dressing up like Nazis and is if you think
- 30:53Speaker 1: it's offensive, it probably wow. Um. She she made these
- 30:59Speaker 1: comments Steve on her talk show Megan Kelly Today on
- 31:02Speaker 1: nbc U. During a round table with four white panelists
- 31:06Speaker 1: about censoring Halloween costumes. Megan Kelly also defended Real Housewives
- 31:11Speaker 1: of New York City star Luanne del Lyceppe, who darkened
- 31:14Speaker 1: her skin when she dressed as Diana Ross for Halloween Land. Now,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I saw that picture of Countess Louanne. I wasn't offended
- 31:24Speaker 1: by it. See, black face is when you take black
- 31:28Speaker 1: shoe polish and put it. She just put it on
- 31:30Speaker 1: a bronzing cream and put on a white jumpsuit. And
- 31:33Speaker 1: after a week and saying I'm dying the Ross, I
- 31:35Speaker 1: wasn't really offended by that. I'm gonna just be honest.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I saw it. I didn't take huge. Black Face is
- 31:42Speaker 1: when you put them black shoe polish on your face
- 31:45Speaker 1: and then big white lips. Yeah, that's that's to mock
- 31:50Speaker 1: black people. Yeah, well, you know, I mean, I mean,
- 31:53Speaker 1: there's right, exactly the history of black face in her culture. Um,
- 31:58Speaker 1: this is what Megan said. You know. Now she's feeling
- 32:02Speaker 1: apologetic about all of this. Um. She got a lot
- 32:05Speaker 1: of backlash, and she sent an internal email to her colleagues.
- 32:10Speaker 1: She wrote that she now realizes that such behavior is
- 32:12Speaker 1: indeed wrong, and that she's sorry. She's talking about the
- 32:16Speaker 1: history of black face. Now, the history of black face
- 32:19Speaker 1: in our culture is abhorrent, the wound too deep. She
- 32:22Speaker 1: added that she's never been a politically correct kind of person.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Yeah we know, we remember you from Fox News. Yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: but she says, I understand that we do need to
- 32:32Speaker 1: be more sensitive in this day and age, particularly on
- 32:36Speaker 1: race and ethnicity issues, which are far from being healed. Yes, yes,
- 32:43Speaker 1: I mean you know, she said it so fast that
- 32:47Speaker 1: you couldn't believe that. She said, Yeah, you're right. When
- 32:51Speaker 1: I heard it, it kind of got by Yeah. Yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 1: and it's like, no, it's it wasn't cool when you
- 32:57Speaker 1: was a child. Yea. And it took you a whole
- 33:01Speaker 1: your whole career practically, to realize that this is offensive.
- 33:05Speaker 1: They realized that after, they say, never realized before. Here's
- 33:09Speaker 1: here's a deal. I play golf with people who are conservatives,
- 33:14Speaker 1: right wing. I play, I'm on golf courses with them
- 33:17Speaker 1: all the time. It's no way around it. A lot
- 33:21Speaker 1: of them have grown up. See what what's appalling to
- 33:24Speaker 1: a lot of us is the norm for them. That's
- 33:27Speaker 1: why Donald Trump doesn't have any problem saying any of
- 33:30Speaker 1: the stuff he's saying, because for him, it's the norm.
- 33:34Speaker 1: And when he goes to these rallies, he lets it
- 33:36Speaker 1: fly because he's think he's amongst his peers except them, Poe.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Ask people out there have no idea that Donald Trump
- 33:44Speaker 1: could give less than a about any of them. They
- 33:48Speaker 1: don't even understand that man. Donald Trump is about the wealthy,
- 33:52Speaker 1: that's all he don't How can he care about the
- 33:55Speaker 1: pope when he don't know no pope. How can he
- 33:58Speaker 1: care about the pope when he has never bim Poe.
- 34:00Speaker 1: This dude, they never had a struggling moment in his life.
- 34:04Speaker 1: He cannot relate. That's why he can snatch a baby
- 34:07Speaker 1: from a mother at the border. That's why I don't
- 34:09Speaker 1: care about stopping no caravan go back home. That's that's
- 34:12Speaker 1: why he don't care no by nothing. He has no
- 34:14Speaker 1: respect for women. This is who the President of the
- 34:17Speaker 1: United States he is. I'm sorry, yeah, I think you
- 34:21Speaker 1: know they should have kept Tamaron Hall and making Kelly
- 34:25Speaker 1: Spot just left Tamaron Hall. Alright, time for today's headline,
- 34:31Speaker 1: Steve Aies and gentlemen, miss and trip and this is
- 34:37Speaker 1: a trip with the news. Good morning, everybody. Turkish meeting
- 34:39Speaker 1: now reporting that their investigators who found suitcases and clothing
- 34:43Speaker 1: in a vehicle left in the garage attached to the
- 34:45Speaker 1: Saudi consulate that may have belonged to missing journalists Kamal.
- 34:49Speaker 1: The Saudis finally acknowledging that Kasagi died in the consulate
- 34:53Speaker 1: on October two, even though they're claiming he died accidentally
- 34:56Speaker 1: during a fist fight. The Turkish president, though riskip Urgan,
- 34:59Speaker 1: says isn't investigators say the colonists was murdered and then
- 35:02Speaker 1: the most gruesome, premeditated way. Our security and intelligence teams
- 35:08Speaker 1: have information and these suggest that this was a planned incident,
- 35:16Speaker 1: and trying to blame a few members of the intelligence
- 35:20Speaker 1: community will not satisfy US or the international community. It
- 35:26Speaker 1: will be satisfactory only when everyone who is responsible for
- 35:30Speaker 1: this is penalized, and the Turks say they want the
- 35:33Speaker 1: killers tried in Turkey. Authorities would also like to see
- 35:36Speaker 1: cuss Ogi's body. President Trump claims that the Central American
- 35:39Speaker 1: margrants headed here and not just poor people looking for
- 35:42Speaker 1: a better life. You have people coming up through the
- 35:44Speaker 1: southern border from the Middle East and other places that
- 35:48Speaker 1: are not appropriate for our country, and I'm not letting
- 35:52Speaker 1: them in. The caravan of migrants who now said the
- 35:55Speaker 1: number about seven thousand, most of them Honduran currently forced
- 35:58Speaker 1: to camp on a Mexican basketball court with few facilities
- 36:01Speaker 1: and no food. The presidents threatening to cut off all
- 36:03Speaker 1: the aid that we send to Honduras, Guatemala, and Al
- 36:06Speaker 1: Salador if those governments don't get their people to come
- 36:08Speaker 1: back home. However, critics say that cutting off aide would
- 36:11Speaker 1: only end up forcing more and more people to leave
- 36:13Speaker 1: their countries. According to Rolling Stone magazine, the Republican candidate
- 36:16Speaker 1: for governor and Georgia Get This, Briant Kemp, caught on
- 36:19Speaker 1: audio tapes saying that his democratic challenges get out the
- 36:22Speaker 1: Vote operation quote continues to concern us, especially if everybody
- 36:26Speaker 1: uses and exercises their right to vote. That's what this
- 36:28Speaker 1: man said. Kemp's opponents, Stacy Abrams, would be the first
- 36:31Speaker 1: black female governor. Kemp reportedly made that comment at Professionals
- 36:35Speaker 1: for Kemp event. When Rolling Stone called Kemp's campaign about
- 36:38Speaker 1: the remark, they acknowledged that the event took place, but
- 36:41Speaker 1: they wouldn't comment further. Meanwhile, this guy, Brian Kemp is
- 36:44Speaker 1: currently Georgia's Secretary of State. It was reported last week
- 36:47Speaker 1: right here on the Steve Harvey Morning Show that they
- 36:49Speaker 1: decided to suspend come fifty three thousand ballot applications, about
- 36:53Speaker 1: seventy that belonging to African Americans. American Public media says
- 36:56Speaker 1: Kemp Persians estimated one hundred seven thousand voters from the
- 36:59Speaker 1: roll last year simply because they didn't vote in the
- 37:01Speaker 1: prior election. He's being sued for leaving more than six
- 37:05Speaker 1: million Georgia voting records open to hacking. He's also being
- 37:08Speaker 1: sued because of an abnormal amount of absentee bounce and
- 37:11Speaker 1: the Peach state mostly belonged to black and Asian vote.
- 37:13Speaker 1: This guy is running for governor. Here's up Steve Harvey
- 37:17Speaker 1: Nation find out of uncle Steve smart than his nephew
- 37:19Speaker 1: will be back twenty minutes after the hour Steve Harvey
- 37:21Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 37:26Speaker 1: Tommy's not here today. Guys. We know that we watched
- 37:29Speaker 1: the season premiere Are Ready to Love last night? It
- 37:32Speaker 1: was good. It was last night. Yeah, it was on
- 37:35Speaker 1: the own network. It was really really good, really cute U.
- 37:39Speaker 1: The new dating series is produced by Will Packer's hosted
- 37:42Speaker 1: by our very own nephew, Tommy. I think he's on
- 37:45Speaker 1: the phone, Tommy, Hey, what's going on. Oh, we have

- 38:07Speaker 1: I don't think I gonna ask him. We knew he
- 38:09Speaker 1: was gonna change that, but he didn't get real Hollywood. See,
- 38:13Speaker 1: they didn't get commercial. You listen, you know what I'm
- 38:15Speaker 1: gonna play this year. I was talking to Oh the

- 41:12Speaker 1: So old wants me and Will to come to Milan. Okay,

- 41:24Speaker 1: old guy. Uh, I ain't got it and everything it
- 41:31Speaker 1: has rooms in it? Why why you a plane? Don't
- 41:34Speaker 1: have that? Oh? This boy? Gout? What episode in this is?
- 41:43Speaker 1: You know what? Let me let me just say this.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I understand you know what I mean. You gotta really
- 41:47Speaker 1: try something to find the things in life because you
- 41:50Speaker 1: you're flying ghetto dog. You know what I'm saying you're

- 42:29Speaker 1: I've actually wanted you to do that. Well, you know,
- 42:32Speaker 1: I just didn't know that this change was gonna come
- 42:35Speaker 1: so suddenly, not after one damn episode. Oh I knew
- 42:39Speaker 1: you was gonna change. Listen, Oh and I have developed
- 42:43Speaker 1: developed a very good report. We're starting out. Are these
- 42:48Speaker 1: these are? I mean, I can't do all these shows
- 42:50Speaker 1: in one day, all Sunday. So you know what I'm saying, No,
- 42:57Speaker 1: I want not do Super Bowl Sunday. What I'm saying is,
- 43:00Speaker 1: you know when I do, when miss Old wants me
- 43:03Speaker 1: to do master class, I will do master class. That's
- 43:07Speaker 1: gonna be before you get asked to do a master class.
- 43:12Speaker 1: Because if you do it right now. It ain't gonna
- 43:14Speaker 1: be called a masterclass. It's gonna heal pop queen and
- 43:20Speaker 1: tell him you tell oh your nickname? You call her? Oh,
- 43:22Speaker 1: she'll call you button. I think that's her. No, I'm
- 43:25Speaker 1: not Button. Okay, listen, mesten me and Wuil are gold
- 43:32Speaker 1: and who me here? Wuil? We are going to Milan.
- 43:37Speaker 1: But what's Old's last name? What's Oprah's last name? Queer free?
- 43:45Speaker 1: Let's see why she said? Just say because you're gonna
- 43:47Speaker 1: miss that woman hell right now, right right, okay, it's

- 55:28Speaker 1: I am a forty three year old single mom of two.
- 55:32Speaker 1: For the past year, I have been seeing a nice
- 55:35Speaker 1: forty three year old gentleman that I met on the
- 55:38Speaker 1: Plenty of Fish dating site. When we met, I told
- 55:42Speaker 1: him that I was ready for a relationship, not just
- 55:45Speaker 1: to hook up for sex. He said, let's see where
- 55:48Speaker 1: it goes. Two weeks later, after talking on the phone,
- 55:51Speaker 1: we finally met up and we ended up having sex
- 55:55Speaker 1: that first night. Darned, Steve, it was so good, goold
- 56:00Speaker 1: that I could not stop. We continue to have sex
- 56:03Speaker 1: at least once a week, and he started staying overnight
- 56:06Speaker 1: at my house. About six months later, I asked him,
- 56:10Speaker 1: So are we together? He said, no, we're just friends.
- 56:14Speaker 1: He told me that we should just stop having sex
- 56:16Speaker 1: and just be friends because I was getting too emotionally
- 56:18Speaker 1: attached to him. Not even a week went by before
- 56:21Speaker 1: he was back in my bed. The sex is so
- 56:25Speaker 1: darn good that I cannot stay away from this man.
- 56:28Speaker 1: But I really wanted a relationship. The whole time we've
- 56:32Speaker 1: been together, I have been taking him to and from work.
- 56:36Speaker 1: He does not have a car or his own place
- 56:38Speaker 1: to live. I also cook for this man and give
- 56:41Speaker 1: him money when he needs it. He does pay me
- 56:45Speaker 1: back each time. I'm giving one percent of myself to him,
- 56:49Speaker 1: but he has the nerve to only like me as
- 56:52Speaker 1: a friend. It makes me feel like he's just using me.
- 56:56Speaker 1: Is this is the good sex clouding my judgment? What's
- 56:59Speaker 1: really going on here? Please advise? Okay, okay, seriously, seriously,
- 57:06Speaker 1: if you were here, I would physically shake you so hard,
- 57:10Speaker 1: try to shake some sense into you. You know, you
- 57:14Speaker 1: may be forty three year olds, but but you're you're
- 57:17Speaker 1: doing way too much. Okay, I mean, just talk about
- 57:21Speaker 1: over and above and beyond. That's all you, that's all you.
- 57:25Speaker 1: You're doing way too much. And I disagree with you. No,
- 57:30Speaker 1: he's not using you. He doesn't have to. I mean,
- 57:33Speaker 1: you won't even give him a chance to use you
- 57:34Speaker 1: because you're right there. Let's let's go down the list.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You give him sex when he wants it, You cook
- 57:40Speaker 1: for him, you drive him to and from work, he
- 57:44Speaker 1: stays with you, and you give him money. What are
- 57:48Speaker 1: you doing? What are you doing? I mean, don't you
- 57:52Speaker 1: take him to and from work? I gotta ask you that.
- 57:54Speaker 1: So why do you have to give him money to
- 57:57Speaker 1: It's too much, You're doing too much. I just don't understand.
- 58:02Speaker 1: You know, you have to get some self respect. You
- 58:05Speaker 1: have to you have none. Okay, you have to stop this. Um,
- 58:11Speaker 1: I'm glad you wrote us. Uh. Nothing is that good
- 58:14Speaker 1: where you have to lose your your dignity and and
- 58:17Speaker 1: your low self esteem. Nothing is that good, Okay nothing,
- 58:22Speaker 1: I don't care. Nothing is for you to lose your
- 58:24Speaker 1: self respect like that. And that's what it is. It's
- 58:27Speaker 1: not that the sex is so good. You're just you're
- 58:30Speaker 1: caught up. You gotta get to get you know, get
- 58:32Speaker 1: a hold of yourself. Here. Uh, this man has nothing
- 58:35Speaker 1: to offer you but sex, and you want much more
- 58:38Speaker 1: and he's not giving it to you, Steve Ready, Yes,

- 59:18Speaker 1: that I was ready for a relationship, not just hooking
- 59:21Speaker 1: for sex. He said, let's see where it goes. See
- 59:25Speaker 1: right there, you say you're ready for a relationship, not
- 59:29Speaker 1: just for a hook. He say, let's where it goes.
- 59:31Speaker 1: Guess what you missed that He didn't say. He did

- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I know? Said it was so good I could not stop.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: We continue to have said at sex at least once
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: a week, and he started staying overnight in my house.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Six months later, I asked him, so we together? He's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: that now we need together. Hell no, we're got friends.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: He told me we should stop having sex and just
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: be friends because I was getting too much emotionally attached
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to him. You ready for this? Not even a week

- 1:02:21Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. It is so good that
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: it is clouding my judgment. Yeah, she'd met this man
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: on plenty of fish. She didn't pulled out the one
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: damned fish. She didn't want a catfish bottom Doyle and scavenge.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: They've been sleeping together, he just had. She can't stop.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: She can't stop, She can't stop. Is so damn once
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: a week, six weeks, six months, go back? She finally
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: asked it, man, are we together? He said no, no, no,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: we need toge. But what do you say? No? No,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: we need to go? Well you can do from what
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you told spend night. Don't here we together together? You
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: give me money, We're just friend. May then know we
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: need to we need to stop having sex, just be
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: friend because you getting too emotional. You know, I don't.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: I don't like to be attached to stuff. You know,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: I ain't attached to no car. Note, I ain't attached
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: to no mortgage and no payment. You know, I ain't
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: attached to no kitchen nowhere while I'm cooking, I ain't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: attached to no money. Don't you see me always needing something?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: You don't do attach The sex is so damn good,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I can't stay away from he give me the money back.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: But he don't have a car or house. He needs
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: money all the time, and you gotta take him to
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: him from work. My question for you for we went
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: on break was where does he work at the paper route.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out what job he got where
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: he can't get a car, a house, or need money
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: on the time. Now you want to ask me, let
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: me explain something to you about this good sex. You happy?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You're having sex with a man that ain't got a car.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: You're having sex with a man that need a ride
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: to and from work. You're having sex with a man
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that ain't got his own place. You guys having sexual
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: with a man that can't cook, and you're having sexual
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: with a man that needs money on the time for him.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: The reason his sex is so good for food. Listen
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: to me, you your entire mind. God, I know you
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: had to bleat that, but that's the best way to
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: say that. There's another reason. See this is called BS
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: that he's given you. This is just BS. Now clean.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: The way to say it is b S is called
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: benefits screwing because he has to produce the type of
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: screwing that produces benefits. So now he is that giving
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: his all in all, and he got to because he
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: probably working part time. He got time shopping this gig.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: He don't have the stress that most men have them.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: A lot of men came perform called the stress. But
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: he ain't got none. He ain't got no mortgage, he
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: ain't got no card. No, he ain't got no kitchen.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: He got Brono grocery. Why why is he stressing? For?
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: He is free to b S to benefits screw Oh
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: he just in that perform. All his energy is in
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: his sexual performance. He came buy you a coat for
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Christmas at Burlington. He can't bring you a plate from
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Stein Maul. He can't bring them kids and yards are
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: taught from wal Mart. He can't bringing you a happy
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: meal from McDonald's and when he do getting money, it's
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: so rare. He died a Chick fil A on the
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: Sunday talking about how to hell there? You know? Money
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: doing the week? You know that they ain't over right,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: This man that you think you want to have a
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: relationship with, Why would you want a relationship with him?
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Somebody you got to take care of and can't do
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: nothing for you except good sex. Then that's all it is.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: It's just good sex. It's nothing, no other benefit to him.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: And let me tell you something, just going well off?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Because you know why it's going well because you're gonna
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: mess where I need something. Everybody needs something every ninety
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: and I don't care who y'all and when you need it.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Since that's who you're passing out all you're loving too,
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: you're gonna want it from him. And guess what he
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: gonna tell you. You have to me, monfu, We don't know,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: we just read. We just rea. You know I ain't
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: got I just bother from money of you last week.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Now I can pay you back what I own. You
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: will that help? She said he was a nice gentleman.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: He isn't not You got to be nice when you
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: ain't got nothing. Well, I'm gonna be mean and I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: ain't got a way to go. You got to pick
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: me up. What the hell I'm gonna be mean? Fault?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: You got to be nice. You got to drop me
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: off and pick me up. Understand that he's just getting out.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: Soon as he jump in the car, he started rubbing
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: your thighs. He was at yeah, as soon as he
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: get in the car, his hand on that pretty thigh.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Then you're in his sweating like a runaway. Because big
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: Clifus Jackson Raynard the fourth, he's been to come up
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: in here, Clivus Jackson Raynard the folk. It's fitting to
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: come up in Hill's fence, to be old and out.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Would lady wants a relationship with who? He can't do
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: nothing for you or your children. He's a bad example
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: of a man. He forty three. He don't have a car,
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: he don't have his own place, he don't cook, and
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: he borrowed money from you. And he's forty three. You
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: want a relationship with him, you got it. He's doing
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the only thing he can do and they're screws right.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: He can't do nothing. He can I'm told you asking
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: for a cope, all right. We gotta go Steve, email
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: us your Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey. Woolf Cope at Steve Harvey FM. Coming up,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: coming up in about ten minutes, we're gonna talk about voting,
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: So don't go anywhere. We'll be back right after this.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Alright, well, guys,
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: the mid terms are about two weeks away. We talked
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: about this earlier in the show. Last night was the
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: debate in Georgia between the gubernatorial candidates. The headlines before
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: the debate was that Democratic candidate Stacy Abrams defended her
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: action of burning the old Georgia State Confederate flag by
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: while she was attending Spellman College. She was a student there.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: We all know the Georgia State Confederate flag was viewed
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: by many as a symbol of white supremacy. Ms Abrams
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: tweeted that she was proud to be on the right
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: side of history and to have fought against hate her
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: entire life. I'm trying to understand this woman burned the
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: Confederate flag when she was in college, and they don't
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: want her to be the governor. But you can sexually
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: assault a woman in high school, which is just a
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: year two before college, and you can get on the
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Supreme Court. I'm confused. Excuse me, moral party, but I'm
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: confused about when do we start becoming moral? When is
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: that flag more important than a woman's rights? But see,
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: as long as it's them, it's cool. So you know,
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I'm I'm, I'm just really man, wanting someone to explain
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: to me. And if you understand what that flag represented
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: it to black people flag, if you understand what it
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: meant to black people, people of color, people who lived
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: under that flag and suffered major oppression and injustices, murders
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: and rapes under that flag, why would we honor that flag?
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: The American flag I don't have a problem with I
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: do not have a problem with the American flag none whatsoever.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: I do have a problem with the Confederate flag. And
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: nothing you can say gonna change my view about that flag,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: not a thing, because I know from years of listening
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: to my father, my uncle's, my aunt's what that flags
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: do it for for them, And you're not going to
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: change my mind about it. Just please get out of
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: vote people. We got to vote, man, You were absolutely
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: take everyone who's of age in your household, your friends.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: If there's someone that you know that can't make it
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: to the polls because of transportation, drive them if you
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: have to arrange, you know, transportation for them. If you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: can just get to the polls. This is one of
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: the most important elections in our lifetime. Really, it is, really, yeah,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: it really is. You gotta vote. You gotta vote. And
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: it doesn't matter if you don't live in Georgia, if
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: you don't live in Florida and you're hearing us talk
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: about this and you think, well, this doesn't affect my
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: stat of this. No, you still have to get out
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: and vote in the midterm elections and elect people that
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: are concerned about issues in your community. There is an
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: election in your state. If you're listening to this radio show,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: you're in an area, you have to go vote. You
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: have to vote in Montana, right you have to vote. Yeah,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: if you want to see change, if you want to
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: make a change, vote that is your power. We have
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: got to get a balance in the Senate and the House.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: We got to get a balance because right now it's
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: heavily leaning right wing and it's not representative of our country.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: And that changed when President Obama was in office and
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: it was a low vert voter turnout for the mid
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: term elections. And um, when he was in office, what
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: was that two thousand ten? Yeah, and then the Republicans
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: controlled control. Yeah, the Tea Party was born, all of
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: that stuff. Okay, So and they tried to stop him
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: from doing yes everything, President Obama. So we gotta turn
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: this around. Yeah, we gotta vote. The vote is your voice,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: your power, you matter. Please vote. That's it. Yes, So
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: Georgia and now Florida. Oh Florida, Um wow. Uh Andrew
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: gillim and he's in a he's in a tight race there,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: but he's ahead so far. He's running for governor. He'll
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: be the first black governor of Florida. And um if elected. Uh,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: he's you know, faced racist comments, dog whistles throughout his campaign. Um.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: The morning after the primaries, Representative Ron de Santis, uh
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Gilham's opponent, went on TV and warned voters not to
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: monkey this up by trying to embrace the socialist agenda
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: and huge tax increases and bankrupting the state. You caught
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: that right, uh huh quote monkey this up by trying
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: to embrace the socialist agenda with huge tax increases and
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: bankrupting the state. Okay, this is could have said and
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: he used any other words. Yeah, besides monkey, come on,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: now we know that we know, we know what you're doing.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: They got cold word, like they know we know him nationalists. Well,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: monkey ain't a code. Yeah, that's pretty obvious. Yeah, she
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: Trump don't use cold either. He didn't grab a woman
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: by the pete. That's not a code. That's a direct hit.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: He called himself a nationalist to say it, I'm gonna
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: say it, I'm a nationalist, and he doubled down and
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: said it again. You're right. I don't even know what
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: that means. Excuse me. It's he's trying to say that
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: he's for America and he's not like a globalist and
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: thinks in terms of the world. He's just thinking of America,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: this nation. What he should say, he's a patriot. Yeah,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: and that's what he should say. He shouldn't say nationalists.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: That's no, he's not a patriot. Taxes, that's a good one. Scene.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: First I was like, huh then you yeah, you nail
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: that one for you nail that one. Yeah, No, he's
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: not alright, speaking of voting, Donald Trump's predecessor wants you
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: to vote. We'll hear what President Barack Obama has to say.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: President Barack Obama is trying to simulate young voters. He
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: responds to some of the commonly made excuses for not voting.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Take a listen to some of the excuses and some
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: of the answers. I don't care about politics. Look, I
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: don't care about Pokemon, but that doesn't mean it won't
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: keep on coming back. That's actually what people in power
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: are betting on that you'll check out, that you won't vote,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: And when you opt out, that's what allows other people
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: to essentially fill that void. It allows them to do
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: nothing about the things that you'd like to see government do. So,
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: if you really want to throw a wrench in their plans,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: throw them out. Vote in somebody better next. Why bother
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: voting when I can't relate to the candidates? This is
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: actually a good question. For way too long, politicians haven't
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: been representative of America as a whole. But that's changing.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: This year. More women are running for office than ever before.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: More LGBT candidates are running for office. First time candidates,
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: young veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, young leaders from across
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: the political spectrum. So this year, more than any other year,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: you have the chance to change the face of politics
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: so that it looks more like your own, right, That's
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: what we need. Yeah, come on, get up and votes.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: He's just such a good I mean, I don't understand
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: how really y'all um to sit this one out? This
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: this has to be the most oh voter attended meda election,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: med a term election in our history. Because if we
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: get out, man, we can change, We can stop this
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: wave of senselessness towards other humanity. We we have a
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: president who does not care about anyone that isn't rich.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: He doesn't man this wall. He talked about we're gonna
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: build the wall. He to convince these people that this
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: wall is necessary. Look, should that be some type of
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: border controls, Yes, but we need a policy in place
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: where people who are qualified to coming into this country
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: can come. See, ain't no problem if you're coming from Poland,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: checkos off, Slovakia, friends, Italy. You can come from any
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: one of them countries because you can come over here.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: What you cannot do is bring your brown body over
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: here without a dog fight, because all y'all coming is criminals.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Excuse me, what what? What? But if you come from
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: south of that border and you brown, you Cuban, Guatemalan, Hondurian, Nickaraguin, Mexican, Jamaic,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: any other thing, any any kind of color man, please
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: get out of here. It's sad. But then the hypocrisy
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: of the Republican Party is what sickens me the most.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You act like you're not the one hid these people,
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and now they've tried to spend it and go. They're
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: gonna take minorities. Need to be aware because they're gonna
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: take jobs from minorities and poor whites. They don't come
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: over here to take work that y'all want to do.
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: And the only reason they can take the construction workers
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: is because the owners of construction workers like hind these
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: skilled labor and underpaying them. Ain't gonna give no benefits.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: Who you think on them? Come, you think they're all democrats? Huh,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: that's not true. So now the hypocrisy of not wanting
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: them over here, it's ludicrous because they need them over
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: here to do the farming. They need them over here
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: to keep these restaurants running. They need them over here
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: to keep the kind of the the their construction business
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: a lot. Here's the other hypocrisy. We don't want any
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: more abortions. If you vote for abortion, we're gonna take
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: you out of office. Do you all think for one
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: minute that Republicans don't get abortion? Are you kidding me?
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: You think Republican people don't get abortion? You're sadly mistaken.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: Here's the other bit of hypocrisy. Uh, we don't want abortions,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: we don't want images, and we don't want gays to
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: have any rights. Excuse me you you you really don't
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: think that the Republican party who was against gay marriage,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: who was against these gay rights, being able to inform
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: families and get benefits. Do you really think that are
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: no Republican gay people? You think the majority of gay
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: people is liberals and left wing? Are you out of
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: your mind? Are you kidding me? That hypocrisy that they've created.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Now they disguise all of that and they say, we're
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: gonna build this wall, and we're gonna protect our country,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: and we're gonna make them very cold great again. When
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: was America great? When was when did America used to
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: be better than it is now. I'm scared to ask
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: him when they think that is, because I'm telling you,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: black folks, if you find out when they thought America
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: was great again, you're gonna be stunned. Your ass ain't
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: gonna be sitting there no more damn lunch counters. If
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you get back to when they thought it was, you
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: fin to get some Jerman shepherds put on your as
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you you you really think, I don't know when you
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: think that's gonna happen, Bodner. But Brother back at cud waterfounds, Brother,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: make America great again as brother, brother off the side
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: walk when they come back. Brother. That's my comment, man,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: and I'm doing it. That's am I doing it? Come? Yeah?
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: You are? You are surprisingly no cusin Yeah, none of that. So, yeah,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: we don't have a serious subject. This is a serious time.
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: This country is divided and and we're we're more divided
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: now than ever because our leadership creates defusiveness amongst the people.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: That he was elected to government by design too, it's
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: no accident, but he's only in office for his debate. Alright,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: A judge has denied Bill Cosby's attempt at a new
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: trial and reduced sentence. This is according to NBC News.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Cosby's lawyers argued that the evidence against him was old
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and unreliable and shouldn't have been allowed at trial. They
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: also said his sentence was unnecessarily harsh, but Judge Steven
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: O'Neill said he found no reason to grant the request.
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Becausby was recently sentenced to three to ten years in
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constant back in
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: two thousand for Wow. Yeah, it's so sad what has
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: happened to all of these women. It's so sad what
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: it's what an iconic figure has become. It's so sad
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: that these women are left to grapple with this for
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: so long, for what happened to them. I cannot sit here,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: as a friend of his, a man who had a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: friendship with him, and say that I don't believe any
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: of this is true, because it's just it's too much evidence.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: It's just too much. It's heartbreaking to have set with
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: this man so many times, learned so many things, having
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: had no idea any of this what's going on. I mean,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: none of us knew. Really, you know, none of us
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: knew that any of this was even going on. It
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: was shocking when I heard about it, like now, come on, man,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: because there were no signs of it. But as you
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: got to going along with it, it's just too many
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: people came out. Too many people came out, and it
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: became like wait a minute, man, hold on, don't bill,
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: come on man. And so you know this this retrial,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: old evidence that was allowed to come in, um oh
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: this last time. Yeah, that's what the lawyers were saying
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: when they was trying to get a retrial. Old evidence
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: was brought in. Keywords evidence. Evidence is facts or information
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: gathered that shows guilt or innocence. That's what evidence is
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: in a layman term. So something happened that they allowed
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: to be said that caused the conviction. And you know,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: at one point in time, we all have to answer
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: to whatever it is we do or we've done, and
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: if you've gotten away with it, eventually you have to pay.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: Now it's just hard, man, when you've been a friend
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: to a guy, when a guy has friended you and
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: with no knowledge of it, but just taught me so
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: many things about being on television, help my sons at
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: more House University. And then to find out this is heartbreaking,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: It really really is heartbreaking, and to see what has
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: happened to this iconic figure. Yeah, it was hard to
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: watch him go into the courtroom and to the jail
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: and be led away like that and everything. And then,
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: you know, on the other hand, it was like, well,
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: finally justice for the women. You know that he's Yeah,
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: on the other hand, so you know, you're just torn.
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: It was. It was a tough time still is you know. Yeah,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: and he's in prison today and we all grew up
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: watching him. You know, he was America's dad at one time,
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: you know. All right, well, alright, well, coming up more
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Lottery fever is
- 1:27:24Speaker 1: in the air. It's everywhere. The mega million dollar jack
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: pot was last night and then tonight, now, Steve, tonight
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: is a powerball drawing for six hundred and twenty million dollars.
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: You got him already, I'm might buy stuff for tonight. Okay, Well, Steve,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: listen to this professional boxer and extremely wealthy person Floyd Money.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: Mayweather was spotted in l A the other night buying
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: same amount Steve two thousand dollars worth of lottery tickets. Okay,
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: now Floyd is rather wealthy like you, Steve. He has
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: a net worth of six hundred million. Yes, well, I
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: mean you're rather wealthy. You're you're rather wealthy anyway. I
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: don't know what your net worth is. I just I'm
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: telling you ain't six Well, Floyd's six hundred million, so
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: I mean, does he really? I mean, do you really
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: need it? After you have already so much money? I'm asking, Yes,
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: what did you talking about need? Don't nobody need one
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: point six billion? But oh, y'all want it though, don't
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: you right? We want it? But but I'm saying if
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: I had six hundred millions that that wouldn't be enough. Yeah,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: you need more? Yeah, I mean what else can you
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: buy or do or what? I mean? That's that's that
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: small man? What else can you six hundred million? That's
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: not enough to live here already living some you got
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: six on the million. You don't need nothing. We are
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: to need games? He just won't. I want one point
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: six but I don't need it, but I promise you,
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: if you get it to me, y'all can follow me
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: with a camp. I'm gonna do a reality show. Y'all
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: come on following me, because it's about the last time
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: you're gonna see me anyway. Then you'll finally do a
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: reality show. Right brother, I'm telling you right now, six
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: hundred mill or square me straight up. Well yeah, so
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: what would you do? What would you do with this?
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Steven million? Five hundred million goes into this A friend
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: of mine, h fun and minimum is so five hundred
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: million going to that right away? That other one twenty
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: what's that gonna do? Give you? Give you? Listen though, Steve,
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: that six hundred and twenty million of cash value was
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: three hundred and fifty four okay, whatever give me that.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: I take that cash shot is how much three hundred
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: and fifty four point three three? Okay? I take two
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: hundred and fifty million. Put it in that same investment
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: count at twelve percent, and I'm living on thirty million
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: a year interest. You get the check for that twelve
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: months thirty twelve months, you get thirty millions, and you
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: will still have the two hundred and fifty millions. So
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: you need to counsel some of those people who have
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: won the lottery. Ain't. I ain't council nobody. Don't grow me.
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: I'm changing my number soon as I win, because you
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: all those people who have one and they're broke. Now,
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: coming up, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: As as a nephew, Tommy would say, excuse me, Thomas Miles,
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: we're heading toward the benediction for this show today. Right
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: All right, Steve, you know what earlier in the show, Um,
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: I told you this new surveys out. It's about millionaires
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: and it says, if you want to be rich, be positive. Uh.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: This is according to a new survey. Like I said,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: millionaires do their best to stay away from pessimists. Okay.
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: The survey found that nine out of ten rich people
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: make it a point to be around people who are
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: positive and focused on success. So, you know, I gotta
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: ask you, Steve, is that true? Do you live your
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: life like that? And? Uh? You know what can we
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: learn from all of that? Well? I mean you really,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: you really, if you want to be successful, you're going
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: to have to associate yourself with other successful people, then
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: not hard to find. They're not that hard to find.
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: There are a lot of success driven people. You gotta
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: be willing to strike up conversations. But in order to
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: do it, for the most part, most people have to
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: be willing to step outside of their comfort zone. Walk
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: up to somebody who you think is successful and introduce
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: yourself and just say, hey, look, I've never met you.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm so and so
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: I've noticed you around here. Congratulations. Man. If we could
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: ever get a chance to sit down and talk while
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: I can learn from you, I sure would appreciate that.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: I don't want anything. I just want to learn maybe
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: some principles of some of the things that most successful
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: people are willing to share that information. Most successful people
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: don't want to give you money, but most successful people
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: will share that information with you to make you feel uhh,
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: I mean, you know, to feel as though they're contributing
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: to your success without being the success. You know what
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: I'm saying. I would much rather give you some advice
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: that can carry you long throughout your life than to
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: give you ten dollars so you can go body t
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: shirts them how to fish. Yeah, it is very true.
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: One of the principles of success. And this can go along.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: You can ask me a couple of questions like that,
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: Shirley today, because that could be part of our closing remarks.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Because people do want to be happy and people do
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: want to be successful. But you've got to be prepared
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: to get uncomfortable. What do you mean by that? You
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: have to understand that becoming successful is extremely uncomfortable. It is,
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: listen to me, extremely uncomfortable. It is not easy to
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: be disciplined. Discipline is simply doing everything you have to do,
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: even when you don't want to do it. That's discipline. Well,
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: that right there is uncomfortable. Getting up every day all
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: the time. Yeah, making every eating, going to all the seminars,
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: making all the classes, taking all the phone calls. You're
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: gonna do. You're gonna do all the phone calls, all
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: the meetings. You're gonna sit there and listen to every
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: pitching proposal. You're gonna do the things. You're gonna read
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: success books. You're actually gonna apply the principles of success
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: and try to live. You mean you tell me you're
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: gonna change the way you eat, so you can feel
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: better and think more clear to clear, which will help
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: you become more successful. Oh no, I'm not gonna do
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: all that. People don't want to be out of their
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: comfort zone because I've heard many more people say, oh,
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: I'm not doing that. I don't feel like doing that today. Stuff.
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: That's the beginning of not being successful. I don't feel
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: I ain't doing that today. I don't feel like it.
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: Everybody has those movies. I get them myself. But for
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: the most part, nine point nine percent at the time,
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I go ahead and do what I gotta do. Now,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: if I move something off, I'm gonna get it done.
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: But we gotta put it in an of the time slot.
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: But I'm gonna get it done. But I don't leave
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: nothing undone. Well, we know that you have more jobs
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: than anyone. You know what, go ahead. But I did
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: want to ask you this, Steve. I think we touched
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: on it earlier and we didn't get a chance to
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: complete it. But you've made it. Uh, you know, for
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: for a lot of us who know you, and for
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: a lot of people just in general, your fans, and
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: you have made it. You know, You're what success looks like.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: So are you done by no stretch of the imagination.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: I'm not even I'm not even third and away there
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: have you ever has anyone ever asked you, well, how
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: much more money do you need? Well, I don't need
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: any more money. Okay, no, I want a lot more.
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: I don't need no more. What more do you want?
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: What is it that I don't I have not provided
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: all the opportunities I feel like that I'm capable of providing.
- 1:36:00Speaker 1: I can't be on any more TV shows, but there
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: are people around me who can. I want to be
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: able to provide those opportunities. There are people who have
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: some great business ideas that I would invest in that
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: could turn into something big. I have yet to find
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: the right financial partner that has more than I do,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: that's willing to put some money with my company and go, hey, now,
- 1:36:25Speaker 1: let's be partners and let's go do this. I'm always
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: looking for that. I am looking for in a way
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: that my wife and I can send these ten thousand
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: kids to college, full scholarships paid. We made a din
- 1:36:37Speaker 1: in it, but we're not close to the ten thousand
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: that we set out to do. I want to change
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: thousands of boys, a lot lives a year. I really
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: let me change that. I want to change a million
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: boys lives a year as opposed to hundreds I hear,
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: And what you're saying, what I hear is your legacy.
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: This is your legacy you're working on like I'm working
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: on that a great deal right now. I want my
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: children's grandchildren to know money, and that's important for me.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: But I also want to leave a footprint deep enough
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: where I have mattered to people. You know, I just
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: want to matter to people I would not I'm not
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: gonna matter to everybody. I'm not naive, but I want
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: to matter to people. I want to move the needle
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: for people who are less fortunate than me. I want
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: to teach as many people as I can and share
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: the information with as many people as I can that
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: don't really have anybody in their life to tell them
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: the principles of success, or anybody in their life to
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: just tell them, man that you could be just how
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: you are and have relationship with God. That's important things
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: to me. I think those are lofty goals and reachable goals.
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: And can I tell you one other things for all Steve,
