- 2:11Speaker 1: a radio show today. It's it's it's it's real simple
- 2:19Speaker 1: um for everybody that's trying to become successful on any
- 2:25Speaker 1: level in any arena in the genre. I don't care
- 2:32Speaker 1: what it is. If you're trying to be successful, this
- 2:35Speaker 1: message is for you. Let me help you understand something
- 2:40Speaker 1: real clear. You ain't gonna make it the way you
- 2:44Speaker 1: want to, and you're not going to make it to
- 2:49Speaker 1: the heights that's fully out there and available for you
- 2:53Speaker 1: without God. And I'm just kidding. Keep it real, simpling
- 2:55Speaker 1: clean for you. Today, you're not going to make it
- 3:01Speaker 1: the way you want to, and you're not going to
- 3:05Speaker 1: get to the heights that's available to you without God.
- 3:10Speaker 1: You have to get this through your head. Now, listen
- 3:14Speaker 1: to me. You can try it if you want to,
- 3:16Speaker 1: because I did. I'm here to tell you I am
- 3:19Speaker 1: talking purely from experience. Here. You can try it without God,
- 3:25Speaker 1: and you can see how far you can get. Now
- 3:29Speaker 1: when you have some measures of success, of course you
- 3:32Speaker 1: will will will will it feel like days like you
- 3:36Speaker 1: might make it? Of course you will, of course without
- 3:40Speaker 1: a doubt. But let me ask you a question, though,
- 3:43Speaker 1: What you're gonna do about them days when you feel
- 3:45Speaker 1: like you ain't gonna make it. What you're gonna do
- 3:48Speaker 1: about them, days when you feel like giving up. When
- 3:51Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days where it feels like
- 3:53Speaker 1: there are no answers to your questions. What you're gonna
- 3:56Speaker 1: do about them days? What you're gonna do about them
- 3:57Speaker 1: days when everybody laughing at you, turned against you. What
- 4:01Speaker 1: you're gonna do about them, days when you just don't
- 4:03Speaker 1: see no way through it? What you're gonna do about
- 4:06Speaker 1: them days? See? I got there, I got the sunshine,
- 4:11Speaker 1: you know, sunshine cool. Everybody got friends when it's sunnay outside.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You want some friends? Hit the lotto? You you you
- 4:19Speaker 1: you you you want you want to get rid of them? Friends,
- 4:21Speaker 1: Go ask for some help. You want some friends, hit
- 4:25Speaker 1: the lotto. You wanna you want to get rid of
- 4:26Speaker 1: some people, Go ask for some help. Man, I'm telling
- 4:29Speaker 1: my man, they scattered like roaches when lights come on.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you. So now I'm here, here
- 4:36Speaker 1: we go again. You can do this without God now
- 4:39Speaker 1: because I've done it, and you can have yourself some
- 4:42Speaker 1: measure success. But I want to let me, let me
- 4:44Speaker 1: even hip you too a little bit closer though, Let
- 4:47Speaker 1: me tell you why you are doing it without God
- 4:50Speaker 1: and having some measure of success. Can I tell you why?
- 4:53Speaker 1: Because of God's grace and mercy to us, because of
- 4:56Speaker 1: His grace and mercy trying to keep us in spite
- 5:00Speaker 1: of ourselves, for the real mission that He really got
- 5:04Speaker 1: for us. See that's the truth of the matter. Now,
- 5:06Speaker 1: now what we're talking about nasty see. So yeah, yeah,
- 5:09Speaker 1: you can do it without God, and you can have
- 5:11Speaker 1: some measure success without God. And yeah, you know, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 1: yeah you got your little degree and everything. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you completed the program, got all that, YadA, YadA YadA.
- 5:22Speaker 1: But don't you know something. It's because of God's grace
- 5:25Speaker 1: and mercy that he that he put that he helps
- 5:28Speaker 1: us anyway when even when we ain't asking for help,
- 5:31Speaker 1: When he bails us out anyway, when we don't even
- 5:33Speaker 1: ask him to be bailed out. You know why. Because
- 5:36Speaker 1: He loves us that much that he would that he
- 5:38Speaker 1: would allow us to exist until we get our mind
- 5:41Speaker 1: together where he could take us where really trying to
- 5:43Speaker 1: take us. But now let me tell you something though,
- 5:46Speaker 1: Let's get this real straight and clear today. You can
- 5:50Speaker 1: do this without God if you want to. But I
- 5:53Speaker 1: am telling you to get to where you really want
- 5:55Speaker 1: to be and to be all that God has for you.
- 5:59Speaker 1: You got to have God. There's no ifs ands but
- 6:03Speaker 1: about it, and and and and and let me tell
- 6:07Speaker 1: you this here. I don't really care what nobody then
- 6:10Speaker 1: told you. Are you listening to me? I don't care
- 6:15Speaker 1: what they say. Don't get this thing twisted. They got
- 6:20Speaker 1: these people out here talking about their luminatis and all listen, man,
- 6:23Speaker 1: don't listen to me. Don't get caught in this mess.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Don't get caught in no foolishness. You were created by God.
- 6:34Speaker 1: God created you, ain't your soul. We were all created
- 6:38Speaker 1: in His image, all of us. Don't. Don't. Don't get
- 6:42Speaker 1: to talking about you, FINNI cut a deal with the
- 6:44Speaker 1: with the devil and all you ain't cutting no deal
- 6:46Speaker 1: with nobody, man and dead. The devil don't do deals.
- 6:49Speaker 1: He one sided you. I'm taking you to hell. You
- 6:53Speaker 1: going to hell, You're burning hell. That's his deal. I
- 6:57Speaker 1: want your soul. I want you to lose hope. I
- 6:59Speaker 1: want you to take your life. I want you to
- 7:01Speaker 1: take some other people's lives. I want you to feel hopeless.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I want you to realize that it ain't no God.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That's his whole deal. His whole deal is negative. Oh
- 7:11Speaker 1: he can talk to you in the dealing drugs if
- 7:13Speaker 1: you want to. But let me tell you something about this.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I watched these shows all the time, drug ink and
- 7:17Speaker 1: all this here, cocaine mafia. Everybody on now go to
- 7:22Speaker 1: jail and get killed. Everybody on now. Our prisons is
- 7:26Speaker 1: feeled the day with our young boys because somebody that
- 7:29Speaker 1: did because they thought they could outslick the system. They
- 7:32Speaker 1: thought they had a way. They thought they said them
- 7:36Speaker 1: been here and they failed. For the old cliche, man,
- 7:38Speaker 1: I gotta do what I gotta do, I gotta get
- 7:40Speaker 1: this money. Well, the only reason you gotta do what
- 7:42Speaker 1: you gotta do is because, like I said all the time,
- 7:44Speaker 1: you didn't do what you were supposed to do. Had
- 7:46Speaker 1: you just done some of the things you were supposed
- 7:48Speaker 1: to do, had you just stayed in that school when
- 7:51Speaker 1: it didn't look right, well, if you had just formed
- 7:54Speaker 1: a relationship with God and and and and gotten rid
- 7:57Speaker 1: of that, I ain't gonna make it that I'm hopelessness
- 7:59Speaker 1: feeling it, you wouldn't have found yourself doing something so
- 8:02Speaker 1: far out the box, got you out here being in
- 8:05Speaker 1: the spirit that don't even belong to you. God ain't
- 8:07Speaker 1: created you to be no dope dealer or no such
- 8:10Speaker 1: a thing or nothing even close to that. So see,
- 8:12Speaker 1: let's get your mind right. See see, let's get your
- 8:16Speaker 1: mind right and understand what's going on here. You know
- 8:21Speaker 1: that that's that's that's that's that's that's what I need everybody,
- 8:24Speaker 1: I need, I need everybody to get me clearly about this.
- 8:28Speaker 1: This is not going to happen without a relationship with God.
- 8:32Speaker 1: It will not happen for you in any shape, form
- 8:36Speaker 1: or fashion. Now one more time, for those of you
- 8:39Speaker 1: that think you're making it without him, I want you
- 8:42Speaker 1: to understand something. Clearly. It is but because of His
- 8:45Speaker 1: grace and mercy that we exist. And God has just
- 8:48Speaker 1: taken care of you, looking out for you. Got some
- 8:51Speaker 1: angels encamped around you until you get your mind right
- 8:54Speaker 1: so he can get you where you're going. But now
- 8:56Speaker 1: I want you to understand something. There's a cause and
- 8:59Speaker 1: a consequence and a penalty for everything we do this
- 9:02Speaker 1: outside the will of God. That's for all of us.
- 9:05Speaker 1: All of us have consequences, penalties and everything that we
- 9:09Speaker 1: got to deal with outside of the will of God.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Understand that clearly. Don't get this thing twisted sideways. You
- 9:18Speaker 1: understand me. So now while we're dealing and we're operating,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want you to understand something that you know. I
- 9:25Speaker 1: heard a young man tell me one day. He said, Steve,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, man, I just don't see how God looking
- 9:31Speaker 1: out for me and he would allow all these things
- 9:33Speaker 1: to happen to me. I'm having such a hard time
- 9:35Speaker 1: in my life. I really don't see how there's a
- 9:38Speaker 1: God looking out for me. I lived the young man,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I said the Man, it's just something. Man, you're still breathing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: He said, you know, I'm standing here talking to you.
- 9:46Speaker 1: I said, you're still talking and he said yeah. I said,
- 9:49Speaker 1: you're still free. He said what you mean? I said,
- 9:51Speaker 1: you ain't locked up, are you? So no, I'm standing
- 9:53Speaker 1: here talking to you. I said, where you get them?
- 9:55Speaker 1: Close from I bought him? I said, when you bought
- 9:58Speaker 1: him with what? I bought him with? Money? So where
- 10:00Speaker 1: you get the money? Fun? So I got a job, Mr.
- 10:03Speaker 1: I got a job. I said, well where you live though?
- 10:07Speaker 1: He's got apartment? I said, where you your department? For? Mr?
- 10:11Speaker 1: How have I'm working? I got an apartment? I got
- 10:13Speaker 1: a job. I was okay, okay, so now this this,
- 10:17Speaker 1: this God ain't looking out for you. Think finish, finish
- 10:20Speaker 1: telling me what you're telling me. We'll see. Man, I'm
- 10:22Speaker 1: having it real hard right now. I said, hey, hey, man,
- 10:25Speaker 1: are you are you hungry? You have you had lunch yet?
- 10:28Speaker 1: He said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, already had lunch yet.
- 10:31Speaker 1: I said, okay, okay, So so so gone finished telling
- 10:35Speaker 1: me about this how God ain't looking out for you?
- 10:37Speaker 1: He said, oh, and you know, man, every every time
- 10:39Speaker 1: I try to do something, it seemed like it go
- 10:42Speaker 1: wrong for me. I said, but let let me match something, man,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I said, every time you go wrong for y'all, say
- 10:47Speaker 1: somehow you survive it. He said, yeah, yeah, I survive
- 10:50Speaker 1: it some kind of way. But it's still be all
- 10:52Speaker 1: messed up from me. I said, but but you still
- 10:54Speaker 1: got through it though. He said yeah. I said, okay, Man,
- 10:57Speaker 1: gonna finish telling me how how God ain't looking out
- 10:59Speaker 1: for you? And he stopped. He said him it's hard.
- 11:02Speaker 1: He said, how come every time I tell you something
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's going wrong, you keep telling me God looking out
- 11:06Speaker 1: for me? I said, because you're still here, man, I said, See,
- 11:09Speaker 1: you don't understand it. I said. You seem to think, man,
- 11:12Speaker 1: that they're supposed to be, that you're supposed to just
- 11:15Speaker 1: supposed to skate through life, that is all supposed to
- 11:18Speaker 1: go how you want it, any kind of way. I said, Man,
- 11:20Speaker 1: Jesus to test to your faith, I say, God looking
- 11:23Speaker 1: out for you the whole time. I said, every time
- 11:25Speaker 1: you tell me something going wrong, you seem to turn
- 11:28Speaker 1: around and tell me how you survived, and you keep
- 11:30Speaker 1: telling me what ain't going right, But you keep telling
- 11:32Speaker 1: me all these things you have. I said, man, so
- 11:34Speaker 1: what you gotta do is you gotta stop looking at
- 11:36Speaker 1: the stop looking at the what you ain't got column,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and start focusing on what you do have column, because
- 11:42Speaker 1: what you do have, it's probably God looking out for you.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I said, now a part where is going wrong? Let's
- 11:48Speaker 1: think about what you're doing wrong that's making it go wrong.
- 11:50Speaker 1: I said. We are all products of our decisions in
- 11:53Speaker 1: our life. I said, young man, I said, get your
- 11:55Speaker 1: head out of the negative column and put it in
- 11:57Speaker 1: the positive college. Be grateful for the things that God
- 12:00Speaker 1: didn't gave you, and then God will probably give you
- 12:01Speaker 1: some more. But if you ain't happy with nothing He
- 12:03Speaker 1: hadn't done for you, you wanted to keep piling stuff on.
- 12:06Speaker 1: I said, you fail in the test, young man. The
- 12:08Speaker 1: test is are you grateful for where you are right
- 12:12Speaker 1: now so I could give you more so we can
- 12:14Speaker 1: move forward? He said, am I never even looked at
- 12:17Speaker 1: like that. I said, well, why don't you take your
- 12:18Speaker 1: blessed cell phone somewhere and sit down? He said, I
- 12:20Speaker 1: think I'm going over here and let you finish talking.
- 12:23Speaker 1: I said, thank you. So sometimes you just gotta look
- 12:25Speaker 1: at what you do got, folks, that's all it is. Okay,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you can't make it without God. Y'all. You got me today.
- 12:30Speaker 1: All right, let's be clear, let's go. You're listening. You know.
- 12:40Speaker 1: I believe I can fly to I believe I can
- 12:43Speaker 1: touch this guy. Think about it every night and day.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Get up on these wings and just go on fly.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I believe I can soul. I'm looking right now at
- 12:57Speaker 1: that wide open air. M I believe I can fly.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Come on, I believe I can fly. Yeah. We want
- 13:08Speaker 1: to thank God this morning for the word all right,
- 13:14Speaker 1: we want to thank him for all the moments of
- 13:21Speaker 1: liberty m M. And now as we enter into a
- 13:27Speaker 1: new day m HM. The sermon today, Deacon all right,
- 13:35Speaker 1: is I believe I can fly. I believe I can fly.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But the question beckons to be asked, what if you can't?
- 13:52Speaker 1: Now now that I'm leave, I said I believe I
- 14:06Speaker 1: can fly. The question is, but what if you say
- 14:12Speaker 1: if you can see If the name of the song
- 14:16Speaker 1: was I can't fly, it's a most definitive statement about flight. Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 1: you standing on a cliff, Yeah, and you were bird
- 14:33Speaker 1: and you say to the other bird, I can fly
- 14:39Speaker 1: and take off soaring through the air. Now, if you
- 14:45Speaker 1: standing on the cliff and you're buried, and you say
- 14:48Speaker 1: I can fly. M h And you were squirrel and
- 14:53Speaker 1: you say I can't too. You're in a situation now,
- 14:59Speaker 1: got your self in a problem, mess around listening to
- 15:03Speaker 1: that bird Bird would made to fly squirrels? Was ment Klein. Yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 1: and so this early Tuesday, mm hmm. Well, if you
- 15:20Speaker 1: say I believe I can fly, the question beckers, but
- 15:27Speaker 1: what if you can? I believe I can fly? But
- 15:40Speaker 1: the question beckers, but what if you can't? Now you
- 15:47Speaker 1: in something Now, Now you didn't jump your stupid tail
- 15:52Speaker 1: off into that hell, flapping hard as you can, but
- 15:59Speaker 1: you head ship, picking up speed, get it to your
- 16:05Speaker 1: final destination. You on your way to the ground. You're
- 16:13Speaker 1: not going up, You're going down. Yeah. You not fitting
- 16:17Speaker 1: to be long much longer around you fitting to be
- 16:23Speaker 1: a memory. You're about to be a part of the past. Bridge.
- 16:29Speaker 1: People gonna go to your funeral and somebody gonna stand
- 16:33Speaker 1: up and ask, did he's a he could fly? Somebody
- 16:38Speaker 1: gonna say I believe he did. But somebody gonna sit
- 16:43Speaker 1: up and say I told him that. The question beckons,
- 16:48Speaker 1: but what if you can't. I don't believe he heard me?
- 16:52Speaker 1: And he jumped anyhow on the way down. I could
- 16:56Speaker 1: see the look on his face that flight wasn't exactly
- 17:00Speaker 1: in his plans. And there he landed. Ain't no turning
- 17:06Speaker 1: back down? Splack the sound splack when he hit the ground.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh kings mem oh or the king's horses.
- 17:30Speaker 1: They came over the too, uh huh, the ones that
- 17:34Speaker 1: couldn't put Humpty dumpty back together again. Men came and
- 17:41Speaker 1: looked on the ground and said, where happened to him?
- 17:47Speaker 1: What they say? What happened to the birds? Said? I
- 17:56Speaker 1: believe he heard me say fly And then I on
- 18:03Speaker 1: my way up, I leaned back and I heard him
- 18:06Speaker 1: say I believe I can fly to Then I heard
- 18:12Speaker 1: a squire. I don't say to him the question back?
- 18:19Speaker 1: What if you another squirrel? A little we sitting here
- 18:27Speaker 1: in new moment up to mine? Yes? Yes, what is
- 18:35Speaker 1: your message you? Yeah? What is What is the question back?
- 18:39Speaker 1: And what the moral? The moral of the story? Nick
- 18:47Speaker 1: and I c K come on, come on ripping Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I need a c K on now exit in your

- 19:31Speaker 1: at the day, won't you joke? Now? Don't you jump? Today?

- 23:17Speaker 1: money for the ring and everything. Um, I put it
- 23:21Speaker 1: in uh into this house, and we started to whip
- 23:24Speaker 1: it and it's going well. Right now, and I'm trying
- 23:28Speaker 1: to figure out ways that I could, uh uh, figure
- 23:32Speaker 1: out how I can get some more money right now
- 23:34Speaker 1: because I really love her and I want to be
- 23:36Speaker 1: with it, and I want to I want to propose
- 23:40Speaker 1: to it this year, so I'm trying to figure out
- 23:43Speaker 1: a way to do that. Um so, yeah, well, honesty
- 23:50Speaker 1: it's gonna go along way in this case. Really, excuse me?
- 23:55Speaker 1: What was that? It's not the time? So no, there's
- 24:01Speaker 1: a time for a line, but this ain't it. Honesty
- 24:05Speaker 1: could go a long way. I think if you set
- 24:07Speaker 1: her down and told her exactly how you feel, what
- 24:12Speaker 1: you have been doing, and what you did and why
- 24:16Speaker 1: you did it because you made the investment, because you're
- 24:18Speaker 1: trying to show up your financial future for your wife.
- 24:23Speaker 1: If you tell a woman that, they'll get it. But
- 24:26Speaker 1: I really love you and I want to marry you.
- 24:28Speaker 1: I want to propose to you. But all the money
- 24:30Speaker 1: I was saving for the wedding, you know, I made
- 24:34Speaker 1: this investment into our future. Now they're gonna want to
- 24:38Speaker 1: ring instead. But at least that's a good way to go.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And then you could say, what could we do in
- 24:45Speaker 1: the meantime until I get the money, right to I
- 24:49Speaker 1: could give you the ring that you really deserved. So
- 24:53Speaker 1: could we do anything that that would be satisfactory to
- 24:57Speaker 1: you that would be a proper ring. Yeah, we could
- 25:00Speaker 1: go on and make this thing a lot more solid.
- 25:03Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey show a right coming up
- 25:10Speaker 1: next at the top of the hour. On this Valentine's Day,
- 25:14Speaker 1: the Day of Love, we'll have more love calls for
- 25:17Speaker 1: the Love Doctor Steve Harvey. Uh uh huh for today.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Tommy was talking about. He just wanted to jump in
- 25:26Speaker 1: on that last call. M love advice from no very helpful. No,
- 25:35Speaker 1: I'm very healthful. No advice, no money, nothing. Miss Anna
- 25:45Speaker 1: is going to be here with our National News. National
- 25:47Speaker 1: security advisor Michael Flynn. You guys, hear about this. He
- 25:51Speaker 1: resigned overnight after questions about his conversations with the Russian ambassador.
- 25:56Speaker 1: Uh so, get ready for a nephew. Tommy's run that
- 25:59Speaker 1: prank back as well. So We've got a power pack
- 26:02Speaker 1: our and show freedom papers. You gotta have your freedom papers. Hell,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a uh Domingo. Yeah, this name speaking,
- 26:22Speaker 1: Hi Domingo. My name is Scott. I'm calling from FP.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I wanted to give you a call about actually, uh
- 26:28Speaker 1: using our services. If I think you'll actually like it,
- 26:32Speaker 1: the FBI would definitely like to get you on board.
- 26:35Speaker 1: What is it, FBI is Freedom Papers Incorporated, Freedom Papers Incorporating.
- 26:40Speaker 1: What we do is we actually make sure you get
- 26:44Speaker 1: freedom papers and you can purchase them from US. And
- 26:47Speaker 1: what I can do is I can get you freedom
- 26:50Speaker 1: papers for you and every individual at your home for
- 26:53Speaker 1: roughly eight hundred bucks or under. What what are freedom
- 26:57Speaker 1: freedom papers? Well? Actually, what this is? You know? I mean,
- 26:59Speaker 1: are are you familiar with like, um, say, if you
- 27:03Speaker 1: are an alien from another country and you need a
- 27:07Speaker 1: you need a green card to be here? Are you
- 27:09Speaker 1: familiar with that? Okay? So what what goes on with
- 27:13Speaker 1: Freedom Papers Incorporated is when you sign and get freedom
- 27:16Speaker 1: papers from US. What it does it it's uh, people
- 27:19Speaker 1: who are African Americans our papers let them know that
- 27:22Speaker 1: you're actually a free person in this country. Oh oh
- 27:26Speaker 1: I've been free. I'm sorry. Ain't no flavor going on
- 27:30Speaker 1: when you talk about well I'm free? Well you you
- 27:34Speaker 1: you may be, but you have to actually show paperwork
- 27:37Speaker 1: for that. When they when did they start? The sir?
- 27:40Speaker 1: This is all over the news. You have to have
- 27:42Speaker 1: freedom papers within the next six months, every African American person,
- 27:47Speaker 1: it's gonna have to have freedom papers and have them
- 27:50Speaker 1: on on the you know. Uh, it's such like keep
- 27:53Speaker 1: on driver's license or a checkbook or something. You're gonna
- 27:56Speaker 1: have to have your freedom papers on you. That's some.
- 27:59Speaker 1: That's some. That's I'm free. I'm not about to pay
- 28:03Speaker 1: no money when I'm already free. Okay, but you're gonna
- 28:05Speaker 1: be sure. You're gonna need paperwork to show your freedom
- 28:08Speaker 1: and you don't. Do you have any freedom papers at
- 28:11Speaker 1: this point right now? No, because I don't need freedom
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'm free, sir. I don't think you quite understand. Do
- 28:17Speaker 1: you understand that you could possibly if you're caught without
- 28:20Speaker 1: your freedom papers, you could be taken into captive and
- 28:24Speaker 1: actually have to work for so many years in order
- 28:27Speaker 1: and then later on you might get your freedom. But
- 28:30Speaker 1: right now, right here, if you buy freedom papers from me,
- 28:33Speaker 1: I can I can fix it where you don't go
- 28:36Speaker 1: through that. You can actually get separated from your family. Sir.
- 28:39Speaker 1: I'm not going by where they're gonna send me to
- 28:41Speaker 1: where they gonna deport me to aftera I've never been there. No, No,
- 28:43Speaker 1: you're not going to Africa. You could be actually here
- 28:45Speaker 1: in the United States working on on a particular farm
- 28:49Speaker 1: of of with a lot of people who don't have
- 28:52Speaker 1: their papers. If you haven't gotten this news, I do apologize,
- 28:56Speaker 1: but within the next six months you're going to need
- 28:59Speaker 1: freedom pay first to you anyway, sir. Like I said before,
- 29:03Speaker 1: I'm Scott with FBI, no sp I, f third's FPI's
- 29:09Speaker 1: freedom papers incorporate. I don't give what it is. I'm
- 29:13Speaker 1: not about to pay no no money to be free, sir,
- 29:16Speaker 1: you have to have paperwork on you to show that
- 29:19Speaker 1: you are a free citizen of the United States. Hold. Hold,
- 29:23Speaker 1: how you get my number? Anyway? Sir? We have a
- 29:25Speaker 1: list of numbers of people that we don't think have
- 29:27Speaker 1: their freedom papers, and your name actually popped up here
- 29:31Speaker 1: in our database. So many pop up phones. Okay, sir,
- 29:35Speaker 1: I'm trying to give my number. Sir. We have a
- 29:38Speaker 1: database here of people who we don't think their freedom papers.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Your name is actually here. After talking to you, it
- 29:45Speaker 1: seems like you don't have your freedom papers, and we
- 29:47Speaker 1: want to make sure you get them. We're letting you
- 29:49Speaker 1: know it's two hundred dollars per person to get these
- 29:52Speaker 1: actual paperties. So you're telling me you got database and
- 29:56Speaker 1: you're just calling black people all around the punches. Well, no, sir,
- 29:59Speaker 1: what we're doing is we're calling African Americans and let them,
- 30:02Speaker 1: letting them know that they can actually, uh buy freedom
- 30:05Speaker 1: papers from us, so they don't have to be if
- 30:07Speaker 1: they're if they're if they ever get captured, then what
- 30:11Speaker 1: can happen is is that they can show their papers
- 30:13Speaker 1: and not have to deal with the problems that we
- 30:17Speaker 1: already free. You're gonna have a whole bunch runaway because
- 30:19Speaker 1: we ain't paying. I'm not paying. They might but I'm
- 30:22Speaker 1: not paying. Sure, you're gonna have to have your freedom
- 30:25Speaker 1: papers on you at all times. That's gonna be the
- 30:28Speaker 1: law within the next six months. So what I'm trying
- 30:30Speaker 1: to end can sell you freedom papers so you'll understand
- 30:33Speaker 1: that you you have everything that you need. You have
- 30:35Speaker 1: your driver's license, you have your freedom papers and and
- 30:38Speaker 1: whatever else did you carry on you you have must
- 30:41Speaker 1: Your mom called me on my phone this Sunday's wrong
- 30:45Speaker 1: with you freedom papers? I ain't getting you, are you?
- 30:50Speaker 1: I'm Scott, sir, I'm gonnassociate here at FPI. I heard
- 30:54Speaker 1: about that sp I you just want to check from
- 30:56Speaker 1: me thinking about seeing you some damn money, y'all. Kiss
- 30:59Speaker 1: my sir, sir, I understand you. But what you gotta
- 31:03Speaker 1: understand is within the next six months, you're gonna need
- 31:05Speaker 1: these papers. Well, they're gonna have to catch my same pans. Okay, sir,
- 31:10Speaker 1: don't you don't you want to be free? I am free,
- 31:13Speaker 1: everybody's free. We got a black president. He's gonna have
- 31:16Speaker 1: to get freedom papers I buy from you. Kiss, sir,
- 31:20Speaker 1: You're gonna have to pay for these papers one way
- 31:23Speaker 1: or the other. Okay. I'm trying this because I gave
- 31:25Speaker 1: you a call. I try to be nice to you.
- 31:27Speaker 1: I'm letting you know now you're gonna have to pay
- 31:29Speaker 1: for your freedom. I'm not, sir. Everyone will be captured
- 31:33Speaker 1: if they do not have freedom papers. You tell you
- 31:37Speaker 1: right now, don't catch me, sir. Sir, you're going to
- 31:40Speaker 1: get captured when you least expected. Sir, You're going to
- 31:44Speaker 1: get captured when you least expected. I'm gonna be whom
- 31:47Speaker 1: to can't take. Y'all, donna have to catch me because
- 31:50Speaker 1: I ain't paying. I didn't look up on the computer
- 31:53Speaker 1: right now, I can't find scam trying to get my money.
- 31:57Speaker 1: Are you on the computer? Yeah? I will? Okay? Can
- 32:00Speaker 1: I tell you one more thing? Can I? Can I
- 32:02Speaker 1: get you to google something else? Put in put in
- 32:05Speaker 1: N E P H E W all right, t O
- 32:10Speaker 1: M M Y one song once you tell me this
- 32:17Speaker 1: is Nephew tim me man for the Steve Harvey Morning
- 32:20Speaker 1: until your wife Mariffa got me to prank phone call you. Man,
- 32:27Speaker 1: y'all happy about saying is free already? I'll be. You're
- 32:34Speaker 1: about getting love as you? All right? Man? I go.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I gotta ask you one more thing though? What is
- 32:41Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 32:44Speaker 1: the lane? The Steve Park Morning The show is that?
- 32:47Speaker 1: Can count? Keep it a stupid all day long? I'm
- 32:59Speaker 1: proud gonna be stupid tonight West Palm Beach, Flaw the Baby,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I'm at the Imperor Valentine's Night, one night only, one
- 33:08Speaker 1: show only, seven o'clock tickets one and the almost gone.
- 33:11Speaker 1: The Nephew is come into town tonight one night on
- 33:15Speaker 1: that is you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 33:21Speaker 1: All right, We're gonna go back to the phones with
- 33:23Speaker 1: more questions for the Love Doctor. But first we gotta
- 33:27Speaker 1: get to miss Ann Steve introducer, Ladies and gentlemen, miss
- 33:30Speaker 1: A and Trip. Everybody. This is entered for the news.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Good morning, for morning, Good Mornida. Okay, and happy Valentine today, everybody. Okay.
- 33:39Speaker 1: President Trump's got no love. In fact, you've got to help.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Want to sign out because National Security Advisor Michael Flynn
- 33:45Speaker 1: has resigned. Michael Flynn was accused of discussing the sanctions
- 33:49Speaker 1: at President Obama put on the Russians with the Kremlin
- 33:51Speaker 1: before President Trump was inaugurated, and while Flynn was still
- 33:55Speaker 1: then a private citizen and back in December, and that's
- 33:59Speaker 1: against the law. That's against the law. Private citizens cannot
- 34:02Speaker 1: negotiate foreign policy for this country. He initially denied doing it,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and he said he said this, and he said he
- 34:08Speaker 1: said that, but he didn't actually say that. But anyway,
- 34:10Speaker 1: he submitted his resignation letter last night. So Michaelson is
- 34:14Speaker 1: out and they need a new national security advisor. President
- 34:18Speaker 1: Trump meanwhile met with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau yesterday
- 34:21Speaker 1: at the White House. Afterwards, they held a joint news conference,
- 34:24Speaker 1: with the President reaffirming the importance of good relations with
- 34:27Speaker 1: our neighbor to the north, and we will coordinate closely
- 34:33Speaker 1: to protect jobs in our hemisphere. Relations with the US
- 34:38Speaker 1: are crucial to Canada since more than seventy of Canada's
- 34:41Speaker 1: exports come to the US, and the two men do,
- 34:44Speaker 1: nevertheless have very different views of things. I mean, Trudeau's
- 34:47Speaker 1: in support of free trade. He's welcomed some forty Syrian refugees,
- 34:51Speaker 1: while Trump's administration, you know, as protectionist and when it
- 34:54Speaker 1: comes to trade policy, he wants to keep certain refugees
- 34:57Speaker 1: and certain immigrants from entering the US for a while.
- 35:00Speaker 1: But they seem to get along and everything was very,
- 35:03Speaker 1: very cordial. Oh, the name Jerry Sandusky is in the
- 35:06Speaker 1: news this time one of his six adopted children, an
- 35:12Speaker 1: adopted son, has been arrested on multiple sex offense charges
- 35:15Speaker 1: involving children. Forty one year old Jeffrey Sandusky's charged with
- 35:19Speaker 1: fourteen counts, including the criminal solicitation of miners. His father,
- 35:23Speaker 1: Jerry Sandusky, you know, that's the former football coach at
- 35:26Speaker 1: Penn State. He is serving time in prison thirty years
- 35:29Speaker 1: for the sexual abuse of ten boys. Okay, this is horrible.
- 35:34Speaker 1: This is hard for me to even read that. Jackson
- 35:36Speaker 1: family matriarch Katherine Jackson has been granted a restraining order
- 35:39Speaker 1: against a nephew on her ex husband Joe Jackson's side
- 35:42Speaker 1: the family. According to court documents followed in l A
- 35:45Speaker 1: Superior Court, Katherine says she's afraid of her fifty two
- 35:48Speaker 1: year old nephew, Trent Lamar Jackson, who has worked as
- 35:50Speaker 1: her driver. The mother of the famous family accuses Trent
- 35:54Speaker 1: of bullying her. She says she has to hide in
- 35:56Speaker 1: a closet in order to speak to her children freely,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and that she's afraid to Trent may be using her
- 36:00Speaker 1: credit cards and other financial information for his personal gain.
- 36:04Speaker 1: She also wants him off the Jackson state. This is very,
- 36:07Speaker 1: very sad and scary. She wants him out of the
- 36:09Speaker 1: guesthouse right now. He has to stay at least one
- 36:12Speaker 1: feet away from Katherine Jackson. Accord hearing on somebody, somebody
- 36:20Speaker 1: needs to take Mama home and keep keep her with
- 36:23Speaker 1: them until this is straightened out or whatever, to make
- 36:25Speaker 1: sure she's safe. Anywag mm hmmmmhews, okay, anyway close to
- 36:38Speaker 1: in South Carolina. I'm just I can't do that. Yeah, Steve,
- 36:55Speaker 1: be a good boy. Stop stop. Oh my goodness, of
- 36:59Speaker 1: course this is this is something going on California. Close
- 37:02Speaker 1: to two thousand people still evacuated from towns below the
- 37:05Speaker 1: massive dam in Oraville, California. However, while the water levels
- 37:08Speaker 1: are receding in Lake Oraville, which keeps them from spilling over,
- 37:11Speaker 1: the dam's emergency spillway is still on Cleveland. Residents are
- 37:14Speaker 1: going to be allowed to go back to their homes.
- 37:16Speaker 1: And today, of course, is National Frederick Douglas Day, National
- 37:19Speaker 1: call in Single Day, National Condom Day, and of course,
- 37:24Speaker 1: of course it's Valentine's Day. When I say I'm in love,
- 37:30Speaker 1: you best believe I'm in love. The UV that right, baby,
- 37:34Speaker 1: put out back to Starve Boarding show. Thank you miss
- 37:40Speaker 1: saying your mama, get them instruments and let's get to work.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Then of my mama. Don't my mama been gone years?
- 37:56Speaker 1: You can't even talk about if you talk about my
- 37:59Speaker 1: mother and I hear you, we immediately addresses this. And
- 38:05Speaker 1: you need to get me to understand that this was
- 38:08Speaker 1: an accident or something something dog because he ain't done
- 38:13Speaker 1: for you. But as all right, love doctor, you want
- 38:17Speaker 1: to switch. All right, let's go to the phones. If
- 38:25Speaker 1: you have questions for the Love Doctor on this Valentine's Day,
- 38:29Speaker 1: call us eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve. Let's go
- 38:31Speaker 1: to line six and talk to Brian out of Maryland. Brian, Steve,
- 38:38Speaker 1: good morning's happening now much? My answer? I make things
- 38:43Speaker 1: like my girl. We had a little altercation. She told me,
- 38:46Speaker 1: checks her aunt out of her phone. I recommenze. I
- 38:49Speaker 1: think nobody didn't recognize looks at it, seeing that it's
- 38:52Speaker 1: a baby and stuff like that. And I was drinking
- 38:54Speaker 1: all right, not realizing that was my words. Phone it
- 38:59Speaker 1: go just went down hem from there. Okay, hold a dog.
- 39:02Speaker 1: A lot of information missing in this stone because it's
- 39:06Speaker 1: a long it's a long story A time. I got that,
- 39:10Speaker 1: but let me ask you something. She wants you to
- 39:13Speaker 1: take your her aunt's number out your phone. Her phone.
- 39:18Speaker 1: She gave me her phone and check her our new
- 39:20Speaker 1: address to come to the house, so ending that I've
- 39:25Speaker 1: seen his number and I clicked on it, and I've
- 39:28Speaker 1: seen baby and stuff like that. But I was drinking that,
- 39:32Speaker 1: like Steve, not realizing that this was my work number.
- 39:38Speaker 1: But I think what he's saying talking to you, somebody,
- 39:42Speaker 1: somebody helped me understand what he's saying, Steve, is that
- 39:46Speaker 1: here in her phone. It was his work number in
- 39:50Speaker 1: that phone, and she was talking to him saying baby.
- 39:53Speaker 1: But he said he was drinking, so he didn't know.
- 39:55Speaker 1: He didn't recognize that that was his work saying yeahs
- 40:02Speaker 1: around his text messages. Oh so you don't accuse your girl, Yeah, okay,
- 40:08Speaker 1: do just don't just seem like an easy fix. It
- 40:11Speaker 1: ain't that easy because he was so let me take
- 40:17Speaker 1: what you did. You don't win way out of bounce
- 40:20Speaker 1: when you found this text. Huh yeah, yeah, you you would.
- 40:27Speaker 1: You would hard left and now you can't get back
- 40:30Speaker 1: over to the right exactly. I tried to blink and everything.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Oh I see with the oh, I see, I see
- 40:38Speaker 1: right now, all right, doll, hang on, man, I'll help
- 40:40Speaker 1: you out. Quit reading and drinking at the same time,
- 40:43Speaker 1: and don't add up. I'm trying to tell uk text
- 40:46Speaker 1: drinking read, You got pick one. Gona do somebody who drank,
- 40:53Speaker 1: speaking from experience, talking to somebody who you must have
- 40:57Speaker 1: him talking, drink and read. You can't do it. Ain't
- 41:01Speaker 1: gonna come. All right, I'm teddy. You're listening to Steve
- 41:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, coming up next, Yes, it
- 41:13Speaker 1: is Valentine's day. We still have Brian on the line.
- 41:17Speaker 1: He's unhauled. Brian wrongly accused his girl of cheating because
- 41:20Speaker 1: he was drunk and reading text messages. We'll get to
- 41:23Speaker 1: him right after this with the Love Doctor Steve Harvey
- 41:31Speaker 1: book with Questions for the Love Doctor on this Valentine's Day.
- 41:45Speaker 1: Let's go back to line six with Brian. Who Brian
- 41:51Speaker 1: b Yeah, okay, so let me help you out a
- 41:55Speaker 1: little bit. Man. So you read a text but it
- 42:00Speaker 1: was your work number. You thought it was from another guy,
- 42:05Speaker 1: so you snapped and went off. Did you do this
- 42:09Speaker 1: while you was drunk? No? I waited. I waited after
- 42:14Speaker 1: the party. Okay, So you weren't drunk, not drunk. Okay,
- 42:21Speaker 1: So you in your right mind when you called all
- 42:23Speaker 1: these Yeah okay now so yeah, so now what you'dn't
- 42:36Speaker 1: done is you didn't said some stuff to her that's
- 42:39Speaker 1: been like pretty vile pretty much. Yeah. Okay, Uncle Steve,
- 42:47Speaker 1: we know word you can't say. Trust Please say you
- 42:51Speaker 1: didn't say that. Oh no, he said, God no he said.
- 42:57Speaker 1: If he did, if he hadn't said that, we all
- 43:00Speaker 1: kinds of so and souls when you got through. Is
- 43:02Speaker 1: that what you're saying? Be yeah. Yeah, yeah, see you
- 43:08Speaker 1: you messed up. Ow can you fix it? Yeah, he
- 43:14Speaker 1: can fix it, but it's a crawl back process. Um,
- 43:21Speaker 1: you gotta shower her. You gotta start How how long
- 43:23Speaker 1: y'all been dating B three years? Yeah? Man, you gotta
- 43:27Speaker 1: start over. So this is Valentine's Day? What what what
- 43:29Speaker 1: you do for for her today? Well? She worked in night,
- 43:34Speaker 1: so last night I just left some rolls, candles on
- 43:38Speaker 1: balloons and a couple of gifts on the bed foot
- 43:40Speaker 1: when she came back because I'm not leaving in the
- 43:43Speaker 1: room right now, ll know. But they still in the
- 43:50Speaker 1: same house. Yeah, well he can work it out of
- 43:52Speaker 1: being the same how okay? So but I thought it
- 43:56Speaker 1: was a long distance relationship. No, no, that was the
- 43:59Speaker 1: car earlier producing Dude, I love it. I got a
- 44:13Speaker 1: chance to come back. You're in the same house. We
- 44:16Speaker 1: got a chance. How long ago did this happen? Less
- 44:20Speaker 1: than a week ago? Oh? Yeah, you got a chance.
- 44:23Speaker 1: But now let me explain something to you. Be it's
- 44:26Speaker 1: going to have to be a constant shower of affection,
- 44:34Speaker 1: an array of apologies. One ain't gonna get it. Mhm.
- 44:40Speaker 1: The thought of someone else with the love of my
- 44:45Speaker 1: life was too much for me to bath. And I
- 44:49Speaker 1: thought I was actually losing you to another man. That's
- 44:54Speaker 1: pretty damn good. I struck out and I filed off
- 44:59Speaker 1: in ways that really ain't me. But if you thought
- 45:02Speaker 1: you would lose it, the love of your life, that
- 45:06Speaker 1: everything you ever hoped and dreamed of was walking out
- 45:08Speaker 1: the door, what would be your reaction. I'm sorry, Please
- 45:14Speaker 1: don't leave me. You're the greatest thing that's ever happened
- 45:16Speaker 1: to me. And that's got to be consistent. Man, M
- 45:21Speaker 1: look at six cold boy. Yeah, that's good. That's good.
- 45:28Speaker 1: You just saying that. That's good. That definitely appreciates that.
- 45:37Speaker 1: More gifts, keep the gifts coming. You gotta show out,
- 45:43Speaker 1: be you gotta start over. But you can get it
- 45:45Speaker 1: back though though sober you do that no moment. You're listening, alright,
- 45:59Speaker 1: Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Valentine's Day. It's here today. So Steve,
- 46:04Speaker 1: you're taking love calls, giving love advice as the love
- 46:08Speaker 1: Doctor to our callers. Eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve,
- 46:12Speaker 1: we'll take some more after this, all right, Steve, Let's
- 46:20Speaker 1: go to the phones. Let's talk to line eight. Let's
- 46:23Speaker 1: go to Mac, who is from Arkansas. Mac Mac Mac,
- 46:35Speaker 1: What are you doing? Mac? All right? Okay, let's go
- 46:41Speaker 1: to line for Dr Chris out of l A. Chris. Hello, Hey,
- 46:47Speaker 1: what's up man? What's up? Steve? Hey, No, one's not
- 46:50Speaker 1: you in a long distant relationship. Um, all right, just
- 46:56Speaker 1: won't get that clear them a mile in the hair, man.
- 47:00Speaker 1: My wife has been separated since, um, the day after Thanksgiving, brother,
- 47:04Speaker 1: and I just don't know how much more I could take. Brother.
- 47:07Speaker 1: She's been mean, Steve means, well, they usually a don't
- 47:13Speaker 1: mean for no reason. So I think you mean because
- 47:19Speaker 1: they take out their mama. Okay, that's why. That's why, y'all.
- 47:25Speaker 1: But what did you do, Chris? Um, I ain't did nothing, Steve.
- 47:29Speaker 1: I've been spalling enough for years. Brother. Um. I think
- 47:33Speaker 1: she she got this job man, and it's just been
- 47:35Speaker 1: on for the past three years. She's been turning meaner
- 47:38Speaker 1: and meaner and meaner. She makes more money than you. Um. Now, Uh,
- 47:46Speaker 1: it's the job stressful. Yeah, I believe it is. I
- 47:52Speaker 1: truly believe it is. Like they've been that. They had
- 47:54Speaker 1: a couple of deaths out that the other day they
- 47:55Speaker 1: had on explosion toe. Um, I know that kind of
- 47:58Speaker 1: took a toll on it. But I've been trying to
- 48:01Speaker 1: be there for you know. So come on, man, she
- 48:05Speaker 1: got a job. Y'all have been separated since thanks you. Okay, right, Chris,
- 48:11Speaker 1: what you're not telling me? Um? I'm telling you everything, Steve,
- 48:17Speaker 1: like I try to love her, you know, and UM
- 48:20Speaker 1: trying to work through the separation. We went to counciling, man,
- 48:22Speaker 1: and she met it up a couple of um, a
- 48:25Speaker 1: couple of hours after council So I don't know. Okay,
- 48:29Speaker 1: So y'all went to counseling because you all were having
- 48:33Speaker 1: what problem? Um? Because I left because she's been being mean?
- 48:42Speaker 1: Oh you left unless she was? You left, right, So
- 48:50Speaker 1: the separation was caused by you. Yeah, okay, so now
- 48:57Speaker 1: what you want her to do? Nice? I love my wife, Steve,
- 49:01Speaker 1: but man, I can't deal with it. I'm old school,
- 49:04Speaker 1: you know. I gotta Um, a woman had the no
- 49:06Speaker 1: woman's place. You know. That's why right here, that's why
- 49:12Speaker 1: you buy yourself a problem. Chris. There we go. Did
- 49:19Speaker 1: just keep the woman? The Bible? The Bible says that
- 49:27Speaker 1: a woman should be to music to a husban. I mean,
- 49:30Speaker 1: it's plainly silf, a black and white brother. It also
- 49:33Speaker 1: says Christ treated the church. She can't wear the pants, Shirley.
- 49:41Speaker 1: It also says, it also says, you know love your
- 49:43Speaker 1: wife is Christ loved the church, you know how right?
- 49:48Speaker 1: And I loved my wife. My wife became my wife
- 49:50Speaker 1: before weeks spent the ten thousand dollars on the week,
- 49:52Speaker 1: you know what I mean? So it's um, I love her,
- 49:57Speaker 1: Chris drug, Chris, you got this Bible verse? Man, That
- 50:03Speaker 1: Bible verse got you over there by yourself. Man, Man,
- 50:13Speaker 1: hang on, we're coming back with you. You're listening Steve
- 50:18Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, all right, coming up at the top
- 50:24Speaker 1: of the hour. He is a good man with trust issues.
- 50:29Speaker 1: That is the subject of the Strawberry letter. He's a
- 50:31Speaker 1: good man with trust issues. Okay, and we got more
- 50:36Speaker 1: than that on the phone. What's his name, Chris, Chris.
- 50:41Speaker 1: We're just talking to Chris, Chris. Let me talk Chris
- 50:43Speaker 1: right quick, Chris, Chris, Yeah, I'm here. You know, man, Chris,
- 50:50Speaker 1: How old are you for the one? How old is
- 50:54Speaker 1: your wife? Um? Oh? Hell, let's do it. When you
- 51:03Speaker 1: have you read that Bible verse two or Chris? Yes,
- 51:09Speaker 1: we both know the Bible very wherever? Well, hold on,
- 51:16Speaker 1: see hold on, I don't want you to think that
- 51:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to be chauvinistic when I said that, Well,
- 51:22Speaker 1: well let me ask you this. Come on you what
- 51:27Speaker 1: is Yeah? I know you're saying you're trying not to be,
- 51:33Speaker 1: but how do you think this sounds? I get that? Okay, Okay,
- 51:43Speaker 1: give me an example, Chris, of her not staying in
- 51:46Speaker 1: her place, Um, just running around. You know. Every everything
- 51:52Speaker 1: we do is what she wants to do, you know
- 51:54Speaker 1: what I mean? And if I don't do it, then, um,
- 51:57Speaker 1: it's pretty much attitude. Um, she gets mad at me
- 52:02Speaker 1: because the curtain is brown. They she think they should
- 52:04Speaker 1: be blue, you know what I mean, Like they just
- 52:06Speaker 1: don't fly. Brother. You know, well no, yeah, man, you're
- 52:17Speaker 1: saying the words that ain't. That's antagonistic. Okay, so listen
- 52:23Speaker 1: to me. Oh, I got you just using the curtains
- 52:28Speaker 1: as an analogy. Who decorates the house? She does? Right?
- 52:32Speaker 1: Do you have say so in it? Um? Yeah? Okay,
- 52:38Speaker 1: And you think you had the right to have say
- 52:40Speaker 1: so in it? Yes? I pay bill? Then okay, let
- 52:47Speaker 1: me give you some advice my daddy gave me. My
- 52:52Speaker 1: daddy says, son, you got one job. Your job is
- 52:57Speaker 1: to provide a home, right I mean, your job is
- 53:01Speaker 1: to provide a house. Her job is to make it
- 53:06Speaker 1: a home. You're interfering with the home making process. See
- 53:17Speaker 1: you got all these rules by her staying in her place,
- 53:19Speaker 1: but your ways ain't in your place. See you gotta
- 53:27Speaker 1: you gotta understand that you are dealing with a woman.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I don't care if seventy eight the women don't they
- 53:36Speaker 1: women now? Unless until you learn how to treat a woman,
- 53:39Speaker 1: you forever go have a problem. She means cause she
- 53:42Speaker 1: tied to you. She just tied you, and you get
- 53:47Speaker 1: this little young fine thing back like that because she
- 53:51Speaker 1: over there by herself just at least being able to
- 53:54Speaker 1: do what she wanna do because there's so much pushback
- 53:58Speaker 1: from her. Man, why do you find on every little
- 54:01Speaker 1: thing she want to do? I don't, Steve, I promise you,
- 54:03Speaker 1: I don't. Brother. Okay, So let me ask you this.
- 54:07Speaker 1: What is the big move that you went in the
- 54:09Speaker 1: house and asked her to do that she didn't want
- 54:11Speaker 1: to do, Because that didn't happen. Um, it wasn't that
- 54:16Speaker 1: I got my arm. She hid my wallet so I
- 54:19Speaker 1: couldn't go anywhere because she had to work on Thanksgiving night.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I didn't playing on them going anywhere anyway. Um, And
- 54:25Speaker 1: she just hit my wallet just to be spiteful because
- 54:27Speaker 1: she didn't want me to go anywhere. I don't want
- 54:29Speaker 1: to go to the store. And that was just enough
- 54:32Speaker 1: for me. Like it is, the meanness had been going
- 54:34Speaker 1: on for months further, so I just decided, you know,
- 54:37Speaker 1: maybe we need a separation, you know. Yeah, so you
- 54:40Speaker 1: left because when you get to the point, when you
- 54:42Speaker 1: get to the point, Steve, where um you feel like
- 54:44Speaker 1: you want to put your hands on them, you gotta
- 54:47Speaker 1: it's time to to separate. Yeah, definitely, definitely, definitely time
- 54:50Speaker 1: to do that. But let me ask you something. But
- 54:52Speaker 1: you left though right now, you won't help back, No nothing.
- 54:58Speaker 1: I loved my wife, so we want each other back,
- 55:01Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It's just that I'm not
- 55:03Speaker 1: sure they're going back is the right thing now, you know? Okay,
- 55:07Speaker 1: so this ain't bout she won't take you back. You
- 55:09Speaker 1: don't want to go back. I do want to go
- 55:12Speaker 1: back to you because a little my wife, right, But
- 55:15Speaker 1: you want your way or the highway. Not necessarily it's
- 55:19Speaker 1: always been her way. I live. I give her her way.
- 55:21Speaker 1: All I wanted to do is be nice if she
- 55:24Speaker 1: if she can have her way be nice? You know
- 55:25Speaker 1: what I mean? Yeah? Okay, can you fix this? Can
- 55:34Speaker 1: you give it up? Steve? Dr Harvey? Because Chris just
- 55:39Speaker 1: ain't being forth right? They are usually mean for a reason.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Mm hmm um okay, Chris, they ain't just mad for
- 55:53Speaker 1: no reason. And the thing you think they're mad about
- 55:57Speaker 1: is usually way deeper than that. And how long okay,
- 56:02Speaker 1: how how long? How long y'all been married? Watched this hill?
- 56:06Speaker 1: Got it? I got it? Now? How long y'all a
- 56:09Speaker 1: year and a half a year? Let me ask you something,
- 56:13Speaker 1: when you first got married, what she means? Yes, okay,
- 56:19Speaker 1: well then, okay, so here we go bing bing bing bing.
- 56:23Speaker 1: I told you it was coming to she was mean
- 56:27Speaker 1: before you got married, and you thought if you got
- 56:30Speaker 1: married what would change? It? Was gonna help it? You know?
- 56:33Speaker 1: I thought that was part of the problem of her
- 56:35Speaker 1: being mean. No, so Minister told me one time, when
- 56:41Speaker 1: you getting married, whoever you marry, and however you get married,
- 56:47Speaker 1: the only thing that changes after the wedding day is
- 56:50Speaker 1: the appearance of your left hand third finger. If y'all
- 56:55Speaker 1: wasn't cool back then, y'all ain't gonna be cool now.
- 56:59Speaker 1: If she was mean, then she's gonna be mean the
- 57:01Speaker 1: day after the wind the next damn day. You ain't
- 57:08Speaker 1: even got the winter. Oh so bro, you don't mess
- 57:14Speaker 1: around and married yourself a mean woman. Now if the
- 57:19Speaker 1: reason you're married to mean woman is called she young
- 57:21Speaker 1: and fine, no no, no, no, no, no no no,
- 57:25Speaker 1: I'm ugly back. Okay, So you, Chris, she young and fine.
- 57:39Speaker 1: That's why you tolerated the meanness. Oh yeah, oh yeah,
- 57:46Speaker 1: oh yeah, oh yeah. Now you're talking about something we
- 57:50Speaker 1: all know about. So now, Chris, hello, yeah, I don't
- 58:00Speaker 1: would say yeah, I know by Chris, have notice? Have
- 58:07Speaker 1: it Valentine by yourself? Yeah, Chris, course, Christine left our
- 58:14Speaker 1: way to my damn yeah, down the streets. She's down
- 58:20Speaker 1: the streets. You're down the street. Wow, who's gonna be
- 58:25Speaker 1: it in mama? Huh m hmm. All right, we're taking none.
- 58:32Speaker 1: All right, we got line six. Jasmine out of Florida. Jasmine,
- 58:37Speaker 1: Good morning, jazz man. You're so heavy on my mind,
- 58:48Speaker 1: like a flower that grows amidst the rules. Jasmine, You're
- 58:58Speaker 1: always my mind. I said, don't make me cry this morning.
- 59:10Speaker 1: I needed that. I know, all right, Jeffer, So what's
- 59:14Speaker 1: going on? Well? Me and my boyfriend. We've been together
- 59:18Speaker 1: for um almost five years now. Everything seemed like it
- 59:23Speaker 1: was going great, you know, and go ahead. Um, I
- 59:33Speaker 1: started feeling some mistrust lately. Um, he picked up a
- 59:36Speaker 1: more extra hours at work, so I'm barely seeing him now. Um,
- 59:40Speaker 1: but I kind of felt like it was more to
- 59:42Speaker 1: it that was going on. So I finally got him
- 59:44Speaker 1: to tell me that he ended up running into a
- 59:47Speaker 1: female that he used to like a while ago. Uh,
- 59:50Speaker 1: this was before my time when he knew about her,
- 59:53Speaker 1: but he never used to date or anything. But now
- 59:56Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, you're running to the female, and I'm saying,
- 59:58Speaker 1: less of you isn't more to it. Um, He's telling
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: me I had nothing to worry about and everything goes.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: But it just seemed like everything is just excuses around him.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: When I try to ask him about it, all I
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: get back is excuses and argument. Why did he tell
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: you thank you ran up into and an old girlfriend?
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Why did he tell you that? Well, it wasn't an
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: old girlfriend. He claimed he neverdated her. Um, but he
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: told me because he knew. I felt like I knew
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: something more was going off when I was asking about it,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: but he didn't tell me right then and there took
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: him a couple of days found telling um, but I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: felt like more to it, and so I guess he
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: He always said that we would always be honest with
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: each others. That was why is his daddy in his life? No? No,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: his kid, Your daddy would have taught you this. Yeah,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I can always tell when the dad is. You know, like,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: we would always be honest. But see what he did
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: in his honesty was also an admission. The reason you're
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: not seeing me as much as we're feeling kind of
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: distance because I don't read up into this girl that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I used to like. Uh, it don't make no sense
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: to say that unless the two is tied together with
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: your lack of seeing him. You understand. So now what
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: you have to do is you have to trust your
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: intuition because it works. What is your intuition telling you?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: I feel like he's lying. I feel like everything is alive,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: But he's telling me that you want me and only me,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: and when you know it's only us, but I don't.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I don't feel it. Well, making prove it until you
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: feel it. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Marning Show. Yeah,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: buggle up, hold on tight, we got it all your subject.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: He's a good man with trust issues. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: I have been in my relationship for ten years. We
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: have a daughter together, and for the most part, you
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: think all is well. We both have hurt each other
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: in the past and we forgave each other now. I
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: trust him, but he doesn't trust me. For example, I
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: am not allowed to be on social media, and when
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I go out, he makes it hard for me to
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: leave the house. He always wants to go out with me,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: or he tries to alter my plans. I don't have
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: any friend now because he wants us to share friends,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: so I can't develop any friendships on my own. I
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: still respect him, but I don't care about this relationship anymore.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: When we do have sex a couple of times a week,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: I don't want it. I want to pack up and go,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: but financially I can't. We share the car note payment
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and I have to consider my daughter. I care about
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: how my family ends up, but I want to go
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: so bad. Don't get me wrong, he is a good man,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: just not for me. What should I do? You have
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: to go? If you want to go, I mean you
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: will only be getting away from a controlling, manipulative man.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: I mean, it's no way to live. You don't have
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: any friends right now, you can't be on social media, etcetera, etcetera,
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: the things that are important to you. You said you
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: guys hurt each other in the past. I'm thinking you
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: didn't say it, but that means you guys cheated. You
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: said you forgave each other. Uh, well, that's what you think.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: You may have forgiven him for whatever happened. Again, I'm
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: assuming it was cheating, but he certainly is still holding
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: a grudge and not forgiving you. And and that's what
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: he's using to control you. I mean when you say
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: things like I am not allowed, that means control. He's
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: controlling you. Um, if you're not allowed because he doesn't
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: allow you to do certain things, you have a daughter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: You got to set an example for your child in this.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: So my advice to you would be to get some
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: sort of part time job, some sort of extra income
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: coming in so um, you won't have to be dependent
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: upon him financially, because that seems to be a major
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: problem with you. You can't leave because you know he
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: holds the purse strings. So if you want to be
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: out from under all of that, get yourself. Um uh,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: you know some more streams of income and that way
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you can leave since you don't want to be there, Steve. Yeah,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: well all right, since I see the letter a little
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: bit different than you, Shay, I've been in my relationship
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: for ten years. Y'all ain't marry. We have a daughter together,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: and for the most part, you think all as well.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: I don't write there. You've been in a relationship for
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: ten years? What is going We have both heard each
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: other in the past, and we forgave each other. Forgiving
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: somebody don't mean you forget. And when you say you
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: both heard of each other, you both cheated. But I
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: can tell in this letter you cheated last, seem he
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: cheated first, You retaliated and you cheated last. Thus his
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: behavior because I know men now, I trust him, but
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: he does not trust me. Oh see you you hear
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: that little line in there. Because you've had more time
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: to forgive him, then you wouldn't done it on him.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: He ain't had as much time you said. You say
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: you want to move on, he ain't. For example, I'm
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: not allowed to be on social media because when you
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: was on social media, you were sleeping with the dude
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: on social media. I'm just telling you. And when I
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: go out, he makes it hard for me lead a
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: house because the last time you left the house, you
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: left the house to sleep with the dude that you
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: met on social media. He always wants to go out
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: with me, and he tries to alter my plans. He
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: gotta go out with you. Canned last time and let
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: you go out by yourself. You slept with the dude
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: that you met on social media. I don't have any
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: friends now because he wants us to share friends. The
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: reason you ain't got no friends because you said you
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: had friended him on Facebook. And then when you went
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: out with the man that you met on Facebook, that
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: your friend, and you slept with him, you slap with him,
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: And now he's scared to let you go out because
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: every time you leave a house is to see your friend,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: that your friend and on Facebook, which is on social media.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: So I can't develop any friendships on my own. No,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: you cannot because you end up sleeping with filling. See this,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: I read the letter. I still respect him, but I
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: don't care about this relationship anymore. Okay, now, surely got
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: this part right. This overweight, this overweight bamussa bama moos
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: underlay or weavera dirty child? Are you like when we
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: do have sex a couple of times a week? I
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: don't want it like that. When we do have sex
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: couple of times a week, I don't want I want
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to pack up and go, but financially I can't. Yes,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: you can. You just don't want to live at the
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: same lifestyle you at. You can leave m now you
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: just be walking into one room. There will be no
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: corn attorney you lead him car keys over too y
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: that's his on the thought twice a week. I'll be
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: back tell you what I want. Okay, you're listening to
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: all right? We are in the middle of the Strawberry
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Letters subject He's a good man with trust issues, Part
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: two of Steve's response. All right, he's a good man
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: with trust issues. Lady wrote in she's been in a
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: relationship for ten years. They have a daughter together. Um
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: we we we pretty much surmise that they both cheated
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: on each other. She says they trust each other. No,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: they don't. She trusts him, but he doesn't trust her. No,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: nobody trust nobody in this relationship. She trust him. She's
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: sick of him. He controlling calls. She didn't messed up,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: He didn't messed up. You know it's over. When we
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: do have sex a couple of times a week, I
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: don't want it, says that's real good, though, Why are
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: we talking to him? I want to pack up and go,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: but financially I can't. We share the car note payments,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and I have to consider my daughter. Well, let's look
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: at this. If you share the card note payments, ain't
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: had to call yours. M hm. Get over there and
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: sit on the stand wheel side and drive your half off.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: You can't drive half a car. You you over there
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: on the stand wheel side. Mhm, drive off? If you
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: that miserable, I mean, then she said, I care about
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: how my family ends up, but I want to go
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: so bad. You don't have a family, y'all just got
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: a daughter together. Y'all ain't married. You ain't even gotta
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: get a divorce. You ain't gotta get separation. You just
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: drive off. Don't get me wrong. He's a good man,
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: just not for me. Okay, Well that's it. That's it.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Get back on social media, befriend your friend, go back
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: out with him and see if he won't. You now,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: because you may be not wonting this sex because you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: might think that the dude that you went out went
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: on social media won't you. But it's real easy to
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: find out because I'm pretty sure he got somebody somewhere too.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: So why don't you call him up and find out
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: if he really won't you? Why are you making up
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: all easy? I want to go so bad, but financially
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: I can't find out if the dude that you slept
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: with is willing to help you and your daughter with
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: a place to stay or move in with him and
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: have a relationship. Why don't you just find that out?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: Then you might not you might not be in as
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: bad as financial shape as you think. Greener, but you
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: don't want this man. He's a good man, just not
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: for me. So why are we together? Stop wasting time?
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: You're sleeping with a man and you don't even want
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to sleep with him? Hell he hell he could? Where
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: do he want? I know what? He won't look at?
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: H up alone. You're gonna be all right. My nails
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: is still with a love We have more phone called
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: Steve eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve call us if
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you want to talk to the love doctor for some
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: love advice. This morning, we'll be back. You're listening to
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Valentine's Day. Happy
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, every one. Yeah, Happy Valentine's Nephew. Thank you,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Thank you nephew, Steve, Tommy and Junior. Happy Valentine's Day
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: to you, well, thank you, thanks Carla. Happy Valentine's Day
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: to you, Thank you, my sister. Happy Valentine's Day. What's
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: gonna do? Tonic? Sharon call? Well, you know when you
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: heard me, saw me dance? Well I made reservations. Oh
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: we know you anyway, So we're gonna take phone calls.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: As I was saying, for Steve as a love doctor
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: today eight seven, seven twenty nine, Steve, you had some
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: interesting one so far. Yeah, yeah, Chris though, what should know?
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: A place? Man? Better place? Women? Take it to me?
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: What out a dope? All right, Happy Valentine's Day. Let's
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: go to the phone. People are on the line. They
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: have questions for the love Dr Steve Harvey. Let's go
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: to line seven and talk to Durant out of New York. Hey,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: how you doing? Oh man, what's going on with you?
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: And tell me about it? Not much? Man, really, I
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: know you gotta got much time. Basically, UM, I'm got
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: a girl now and that I love um about almost
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: a year. And then, um, we both have kids, so
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: as kids involved in the situation. Um, the thing is,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I'm basically going through what uh single mother will go through. Um.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: In November, I've gotten custody of my side, so I
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: have primary residential custody. And it seems like his mother
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: is doing everything that she could do basically to make
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: my life hell. Um, so and and and they're good
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: at it too though yeah, and I don't understand, like,
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: but the thing is, you know, she doesn't really do
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: anything for him. Um, so everything is based on me,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: and I make every decision. You know, I need to
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: to take care of far as my son as well
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: as myself. Now, the situation is me and my girlfriend.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: You know, we're great, Um, no arguments, nothing, you know,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: we're making plans, goals far as to each other and
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: things like that. But there's always a hiccup with as
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: far as my son's mom where it seems like she
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: still wants to have some sense of control of my
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: life and what's going on, and my girl doesn't want that.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: I don't want that. And I've been trying to do
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the best that I can as far as to not
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: allow her to have control of our lives to where
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: it's starting to ruin far as our lives where you
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: know she slowly want. It's gonna be difficult because it's
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: crazy the way family court. You've dealt with this in
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: family court m hm. Family court is very different. There's
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: a lot of leeway in family court. It's not like
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: regular court where you're just going there. It's a slam
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: dunk just the way it is h family court. Man
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: allows a lot. It's crazy. I've been in that for years.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Man and the mother. Uh gets a lot of leeway
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: in family court. But you gotta get some type of orders.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: You gotta get some type of orders for visitation and
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: things like that. The problem is, I know, I know
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you have that, but they go outside of the order
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: to do things that there is no order for. You
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: didn't know you needed an order for harassing calls. You
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: didn't know you needed an order for rearranging schedules at
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: the last minute to throw a monkey wrench in the
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: scheduling plan that you had. But he'll have no fury
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: like a woman scorn. The reason you're catching this because
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: she's also aware of the new girlfriend. M hm. See
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: once they become aware that there's the other chick. Oh man,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: the hale knob get turned up to team No. I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: understand that. I just don't understand, you know, because like
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: at one point, you know, she like I know, from
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: from dealing with her and being in relation with her,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I know that she's she's a manipulator. And you know,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: the last time he was at court, you know, she's
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: explained to me. You know, she's she's engaged now and
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: that's fine. I'm glad you know that you're moving on
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: into life. I'm trying to move on my life. But
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: at the end of the day, it turns around and
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: it's like, um, you want to stop me from moving
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: or or doing things that I need to do far
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: as to take care of him. You tell me that, Okay,
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: my girl needs to step up and take care of
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: our child. But now when she does that, then it's like, well, oh,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you're taking him away from me, and you're taking away
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: my uh trying with my son or that that in
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: the third and I just don't really know far as
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the others that take so where me and my girl.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Now she's kind of like wanting to fall back now,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: and I'm not sure she doesn't want to continue. Not
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: bake off of me, just stay sf of my son's mother.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: That she don't want the baby mama drama. Correct, she
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: don't want it. Yeah, and you know what, she don't
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: deserve it you. She loves you, but she didn't know
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: all that came with you. So unless you find a
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: way to deal with brun Hilda until of the hun
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: she gonna wreck this relationship and the next one too.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: So I don't know if it's a joint sit down
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: that you have to have with the mediator mm hmm,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: her her fiance that probably don't really exist and you
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: and your girl m Do you all have battles about
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: parenting styles. No, I mean there is a little different,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: but I know, Um, she's doing around my son a lot,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: but I know what she means to where I don't
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: take it out of context to where it's like, um no,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: don't tell him that, or don't don't talk to them
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: like that. You know, I know where she's coming from. Um,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: you know she's West Indian. So yeah, it's a little different,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: but I'm okay with it. So No, we don't bump
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: heads with that. Well, unless the three of you all
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: can sit down, man, and have a real adult conversation
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: about the child and give her the respect that she
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: really thinks she deserves as the mother when she does
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: because she is a mother, sit down and have a
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: heart to heart and the three of you sit down,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: or if she really does have someone, the four of
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you and say this is how we're gonna parent. I
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: love it, I respect you. I want you to respect me.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: What do we got to do to make this work?
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: What would you be happy? It's knowing and feeling. How
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: do you want to be involved in your son's life?
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: And we'll incorporate that and see if that works. That's
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: really other than that, man, and you gotta go to court,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: and the court is too lenient in family court. They
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: just let them, man, They let him do what they wanted. Oh,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning showy Candy Balladine
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: chocolates and stuff. Okay, you want to go back to
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the phone, Steve. Okay, let's go to line three and
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: talk to Rodney out of Virginia. Oh dude, can't you
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: tell yeah Gus Valentine's Day. They want to get it
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: right and were it up. Crew, have a Valentine Day
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: to everybody doing what you got well the Horby I
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: found this was blessed by the Lord to bring queen
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: to me. After four and a half years of going
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: through agne and everything with an ax, I asked the
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Lord for what I wanted. I got on my hands
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: and knees for four and a half years, and he
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: found it, brought my queen to me. I didn't I
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: won't look, and she won't looking, and he brought her
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: to me, Mr Harvard, and the same with her, she
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: won't looking after four and a half years after divorce,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: and he brung both of us together. And like they said,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: don't miss your blessing, I didn't miss my Mr Harved.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: And I heard you talk about the place in New
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: York where you can get the value of your ring,
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: far as the value of it, as far as the
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: money off of it. And I wanted to do that
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: because after they put the ring in my hand twenty
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: years ago because they thought the grass was greener, I'm
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: gonna take that ring, go up New York to the
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: place where you were speaking of. I'm gonna trade it in.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my Queen her Ring, and I'm gonna
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: come out in front of that store and I'm going
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: to sing Jeffrey Osborne right to her in the front
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: of everybody out there. I'm gonna sing the song by
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: Jeffrey Osborne, and I'm gonna love her until the day
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: that I die. People think about put that on my
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: talk show. Say a little bit now, I have never
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: been in love before. M m m m. You know
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: he had to get in so round, always got let
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: go and love, don't they know? Damn yeah, the hobbit
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: I'm putting down in New York never never so much more.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: He's still all in right, sorry, give him a minute,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: right he could see now never've never is much more
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: than they got into. She come on your short singing song.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: We gotta close it out right, thank you, thank you.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: That's right. Put that. Put the rock on the end
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: up when you got to that's where you do when
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: you can't saying you gotta rough it up. That's what
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: you're doing to put the rock on the edgetion. Well,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: congratulations Rodney, Rodney. What you can do with your ring,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: no dog is uh self uh you can you can
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: get it evaluated. You don't have to go to New
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: York to get it evaluated. Okay, you could take it
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: to where where do you live? Well, Mrs I live
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: in this slave state. Become with James. I live in
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: the slades, just like I just said, I live in
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: this slade state, the common Wealth of Virginia. Yeah, but
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: I like Virginia's nice is it's not confused love with slavery?
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: Right now? Yeah, we was going pretty good, Nick mad So.

- 1:25:51Speaker 1: to get your diamonds? It's the just check up the

- 1:27:38Speaker 1: All right, we're back. We are taking your phone calls
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: eight seven twenty nine Steve. Questions of love for the
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Love Doctor, Steve Harvey on this Valentine's Day, two thousand
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: and seventeen love. All right, Steve. Let's go back to
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Tasha online too, out of Virginia. Question for the doctor, Jasha,
- 1:28:07Speaker 1: h Okay, what can I do for you? Okay? So
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: I've been married. Um, it's coming up a year in April,
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: and at the well, not at the top of the year,
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: but towards the end of the year. I decided to
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: make a career change. It did not play in my favor,
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: and I am currently without a job. Um. Since then,
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: my husband has not I consider it not made me
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: a priority. Um. He says things like like if I
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: asked for something, he's like, you know, I take care
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: of the bills in the house kind of thing. And
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: let me explain that we're not in a position where
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: we're pressed for money. Um. He's an engineer. He makes
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: very good money. Um, but it seems like if I
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: asked for something, it's an issue. It's like, I pay
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: the bills, right, Okay, let me let me get a trade.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: You're you're not working right now? Correct? Okay. He was
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: unhappy with the decision you made. We discussed it prior
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: to me making the decisions because he worked on Monday
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: to Friday and I didn't at the time. Um, my
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: schedule was crazy and I wasn't turning holes until you know,
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: anywhere between ten o'clock eleven o'clock at night, and he
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: was unhappy with it. So we discussed me getting a
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: nine of five. It did not play in my favor. Um,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: and currently I'm looking for something nine of five Monday
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: through Friday. So that I can spend more time with
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: my family. It was a sacrifice that we made collectively
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: that did not play in my favor. And now, okay, see,
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: listen to me. So you keep saying that, let me
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: ask yourself. You quit your job thanking had the other
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: job and it didn't come through. Correct, Okay, now he
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: mad about that. Yes, okay, it was a joint decision. Okay,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: let me ask you a question. You quit your job
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: before you had the job. No, I quit the job
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: with the confirmation of having the job, and then they
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: had a free So I'm on pause with no job. Now.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: I took a vacation prior to quitting my other job
- 1:30:38Speaker 1: and that was the end of my employment with my
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: other employer. Mhm, what is it you trying to buy?
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: What did you want? Trying to buy anything? I don't
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: want to buy anything, but I get anything for Christmas?
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: And his his thing was I pause every time, like, so,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: you didn't get anything for Christmas? No, and it was
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: I tall all the disen house. Okay, listen to me.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: This is his way of saying, since you did that,
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: this is what I'm doing now. And now this has
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: caused us some financial strife. So before I go any
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: further in the whole, this is what I'm doing right now.
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: But what I'm saying is in his mind, he's creative
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: because finance is big with him. He watches every penny.
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: He dots all the eyes and crosses all the teas,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: don't it. He's not that guy. I'm that guy. And
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: watch your tone. Her tone is a problem. That's when
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: she asked for yah, I agree with Right now, you're
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: hauling at me. She's Tommy's on her nerves, ain't y'all know?
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: On Tsha, We'll be back. You're listening show all right?
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: More phone calls right after this, going back to Tasha. Yeah,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: oh Valentine's Day. Back to the phones for the love
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: doctor Valentine's Day line to Tasha out of Virginia, Hey Tasha,
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: Hi go ahead's um so oh yeah. With the married
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: to the engineer, I think my biggest concern is I
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: just want my sweetheart back. Fike my husband, I just
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: want my sweetheart back. Like my husband, he'll to random
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: acts of kindness like I'll get flowers on a random
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: day or edible arrangement for a card. And now it's
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: you're not getting of that. See he's tying all this
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: to finance. You have to understand that about us. We
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: will tie something to finance if we feel a financial
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: let down, stress or strain were tied to something. He's
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: upset with you about the move you made and until
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: that gets corrected. Here he is. Now he's acting out
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: something that he feels on the inside. It was a jocision.
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: It don't matter. It wasn't really a joint decision. They
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: talked about it. I know what you're saying, sweetheart, listen
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: to me. I'm just I'm just giving you a different
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: perspective how he's looking at it. It was a joint decision.
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: But since you bought the decision, this was your idea.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: Now he agreed with it. I bet he did. But
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: now he's looking at this is what I agreed to.
- 1:33:59Speaker 1: Now I hold out. The comfort zone that I was
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: feeling of this two incomes is gone. Now I'm solely responsible. Well,
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: I gotta button down the hatches and tightened up the ship.
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: I can't buy you nothing for Christmas. I'm paying all
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: the damn bills. See, because he didn't figure it out.
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: And if you were the person that was doting eyes
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: and crossing the teas with the finances. You're not doing
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: that anymore because now all you're doing is asking for
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: stuff to him. Okay, I mean you know, I just
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: think that's where he could be. How do you really
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: feel about it? So tell me that in regards to okay, okay,
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: you really want your boyfriend back my husband to be
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: my husband. I want him to be the man that
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: I got married to. And it only changed after I
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: lost my well and I can lose it, but still
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: I tried to do my switch, and my switch was
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: for us to have more time together. Right now, you
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: got the time, but there's a loss all the time.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Right Well, see now I think have you sat down
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: with him and you all had a lengthy discussion about this.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: We do, but I mean it escalates, It escalates into
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: an argument about finances. Yes, M see, so that we
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: ain't hurting the factor that you keep telling me in
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: his mind, we hurt mhmm. You don't know nobody that
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: hind If you don't want to work, you can get
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: a sugar daddy. You in the sugar daddy likes him.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: He ain't gonna buy get you a sugar dad. Let's
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: move on, Mr Ernest. You need to mimr Ernest. Husband
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: needs to be my sugar daddy. That's that's what I want.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: That's what I want. Hey, baby, you can get that,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: but you're gonna have to sit it down and you're
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: gonna have the conversation without it escalating. Now, how do
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: you have the financial discussion with your husband without it escalator?
