- 0:01Speaker 1: Twenty five days until election day? Can you believe it?
- 0:04Speaker 1: Twenty five days? That's where we are.
- 0:07Speaker 2: What's the media doing? Rolling out the red carpet.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Tim Walltz doing a one on one interview on Good
- 0:15Speaker 1: Morning America. He sat down with Michael Strahan, you know,
- 0:19Speaker 1: the guy that played football, because that's a hard hitting,
- 0:23Speaker 1: you know, sit down interview to discuss President Biden's record,
- 0:26Speaker 1: the economy, gun violence, and more. Were just twenty five
- 0:30Speaker 1: days to go. The interview went exactly as you would expect.
- 0:35Speaker 1: The guy, Well, he lies a lot. We know that
- 0:38Speaker 1: he lied about his service, he lied about his rank,
- 0:41Speaker 1: He's lied about in Vitro with his own family.
- 0:45Speaker 2: He's lied about a lot of different things.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And he lied about being in Keennom Square for example,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and then said, well, you know, I sometimes misspeak, right.
- 0:56Speaker 1: He lied about seeing combat, which he never saw. Stolen
- 1:00Speaker 1: valor is what you call that. But the media is
- 1:03Speaker 1: willing to whitewash all of that because they are one
- 1:07Speaker 1: and the same. They work together. He did this interview
- 1:11Speaker 1: a moment ago. I'm going to play some of it
- 1:13Speaker 1: for you and I'm going to give you some commentary
- 1:15Speaker 1: as he continues to push out these lies. I also
- 1:18Speaker 1: want you to listen very carefully to the questioning. Now,
- 1:22Speaker 1: let me explain why I say that I want you
- 1:25Speaker 1: to listen to questioning. There's not a lot of hard questions.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I also think it's pretty clear from how easy he
- 1:33Speaker 1: is answering some of these questions that he knew exactly
- 1:37Speaker 1: what was coming his way, Like he knew the questions
- 1:42Speaker 1: that were clearly going to be asked. He was prepared.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I would even argue he was overly prepared for the
- 1:51Speaker 1: questions that he was asked. It was pretty clear that
- 1:56Speaker 1: this was all orchestrated. Just like Telemundo yesterday when they
- 2:00Speaker 1: had a teleprompter for the town hall for Kamala Harris
- 2:04Speaker 1: so she could read from a teleprompter while acting like
- 2:07Speaker 1: it was a real authentic town hall.
- 2:09Speaker 2: It was. It was all scripted. Take a listen.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Vice President Harris was asked this week on the view
- 2:16Speaker 3: she would have done anything differently than President Biden with
- 2:19Speaker 3: President Biden that he had done in the past four years,
- 2:22Speaker 3: and she said, quote, there's not a thing that comes
- 2:25Speaker 3: to mind. And she later says she would have a
- 2:27Speaker 3: Republican in her cabinet, and when it comes to President
- 2:30Speaker 3: and Biden and the presidency. Do you would you and
- 2:34Speaker 3: do you see anything that you would have done there?
- 2:35Speaker 4: Yeah? And look, I as a governor.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I was asked to be governor of this state when
- 2:39Speaker 5: Donald Trump was president and when Joe Biden was there.
- 2:41Speaker 5: And I watched Donald Trump dismiss the COVID pandemic. I
- 2:45Speaker 5: watched him drive an economy into the ground, and I
- 2:47Speaker 5: watched Joe Biden Kamala Harris pick those pieces up. And
- 2:50Speaker 5: I think for all of us, we make decisions, we
- 2:52Speaker 5: reanalyze afterwards. I think the thing that drew me to
- 2:55Speaker 5: this ticket, and I think what the Vice President's talking
- 2:58Speaker 5: about is that her values on these hasn't changed. They
- 3:00Speaker 5: have been working for the middle class. They've been doing
- 3:03Speaker 5: all they can to make sure prices come down. They're
- 3:05Speaker 5: protecting reproductive care.
- 3:06Speaker 3: So it makes me want to ask you, do you
- 3:08Speaker 3: think that Biden's done everything right?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Let's pause there, All right, So there's the first question, right,
- 3:14Speaker 1: would you have done anything differently? He's sticking to his script, right,
- 3:19Speaker 1: and then he gets asked to follow up, do you
- 3:24Speaker 1: think that Joe Biden's done everything right? Because we're in
- 3:27Speaker 1: a disaster right now. The new inflation numbers came out,
- 3:30Speaker 1: Inflation went up, unemployment went up.
- 3:34Speaker 2: People are struggling.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Telemundo, for example, one of the people in the audience
- 3:38Speaker 1: asked the question, my groceries used to cost me two
- 3:40Speaker 1: hundred dollars, now it's three hundred dollars. Talked about wages.
- 3:44Speaker 1: People are really concerned about this.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Now.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I have to tell you, I understand, I got you questions.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I do.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And if you're in a bad economy and you've had
- 3:59Speaker 1: all the problems that you Biden has had with prices,
- 4:02Speaker 1: and you've had all the problems he's had with all
- 4:04Speaker 1: the other issues that in this country, and the pull
- 4:07Speaker 1: out in Afghanistan and multiple wars that are popping up,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and interest rates that have skyrocketed. Home ownership is unattainable
- 4:15Speaker 1: for a large percentage of Americans now because of that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: It shouldn't be partisan hackery to the point where you
- 4:25Speaker 1: can't even answer a question like this, like if you're
- 4:28Speaker 1: if you're a smart person, and I'm not talking about
- 4:31Speaker 1: a smart politician, I'm just saying a smart person. If
- 4:34Speaker 1: someone asks me like, hey, did the guy who's in
- 4:37Speaker 1: office right now, when there's all these negatives around him,
- 4:40Speaker 1: is there anything you would have done what you know
- 4:42Speaker 1: that he should have done differently. You got to have
- 4:45Speaker 1: a real authentic answer for that. You got to have
- 4:49Speaker 1: an answer that is like, look, I think there's a
- 4:51Speaker 1: lot of things that I would have, you know.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Looked at differently.
- 4:53Speaker 1: In fact, I think there's things that Joe Biden probably
- 4:56Speaker 1: would have done differently, knowing where we are now, would
- 5:00Speaker 1: have changed some things, some strategies. However, you want to
- 5:03Speaker 1: put it without like knocking him. But you can answer
- 5:05Speaker 1: that question authentically. But that's not how democrats roll. I
- 5:11Speaker 1: actually go back to this. I don't believe they think
- 5:14Speaker 1: anything's wrong right now. I think they think everything's perfect
- 5:17Speaker 1: right now. I don't think that they believe that anything
- 5:21Speaker 1: has been done in a negative way because they have
- 5:25Speaker 1: more power and more control now than they've ever had.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So it is the weekend, and I love the weekend

- 7:18Speaker 1: me go back to something that I was talking about
- 7:20Speaker 1: a moment ago, and that Tim Waltz again is like
- 7:23Speaker 1: it's all been laid out, okay, So Waltz is out there,
- 7:27Speaker 1: he's doing all these interviews, the media is trying to
- 7:29Speaker 1: get them across the finish line with twenty five days ago.
- 7:32Speaker 1: They know that they're in some trouble. So that's part
- 7:35Speaker 1: of the problem is that they understand it. They got
- 7:38Speaker 1: to get people excited again about them. So it's like,
- 7:41Speaker 1: all right, how do we pull this off?
- 7:42Speaker 4: Right?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Like, what do we do?
- 7:44Speaker 1: And it's a great question, It's very tough. It's a
- 7:47Speaker 1: hard one. So it's like, all right, how do.
- 7:50Speaker 2: We do this?
- 7:50Speaker 1: What do we do to get this going the way
- 7:54Speaker 1: we need it to get going. Let me, I want
- 7:58Speaker 1: to play this answer where number one the straight hand says, hey,
- 8:04Speaker 1: Kamae hers the other day said you wouldn't have done
- 8:05Speaker 1: anything different in the last four years, and they did
- 8:10Speaker 1: nothing wrong, referring to Biden's policies. So he gives kind
- 8:14Speaker 1: of a word salad answer and I'm going to back
- 8:17Speaker 1: it up just a second so you can hear it.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And then he's ask said, well, okay, like, so you
- 8:22Speaker 1: think Joe Biden's done everything perfectly?
- 8:24Speaker 2: Listen afterwards.
- 8:25Speaker 5: I think the thing that drew me to this ticket,
- 8:27Speaker 5: and I think what the Vice president's talking about is
- 8:29Speaker 5: that her values on these hasn't changed. They have been
- 8:31Speaker 5: working for the middle class. They've been doing all they
- 8:34Speaker 5: can to make sure prices come down. They're protecting reproductive care.
- 8:37Speaker 5: So it makes me want to ask you, do you
- 8:39Speaker 5: think that Biden has done everything right? Well, look, I
- 8:41Speaker 5: don't know if any of us do everything right, but
- 8:43Speaker 5: I can tell you he's done everything in the best
- 8:45Speaker 5: interest in the American public. He's listened to what the
- 8:47Speaker 5: public did, He's asked for answers, and I think, you
- 8:50Speaker 5: know and reevaluated afterwards. And I think if your values
- 8:54Speaker 5: and the judgments you're making and the ethical decisions you're making,
- 8:58Speaker 5: he's done that. And I again have seen the difference
- 9:01Speaker 5: that it made, especially during the COVID pandemic, of what
- 9:03Speaker 5: it looks like to have that ethical, visionary leadership versus
- 9:06Speaker 5: someone who's incredibly self centered.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I want to go back to something you said on Tuesday.
- 9:10Speaker 3: He said, I think all of us know the electoral
- 9:12Speaker 3: College needs to go, but the campaign came out later
- 9:15Speaker 3: that night and they said that's not their stands.
- 9:17Speaker 2: By way, listen carefully to this question.
- 9:20Speaker 1: He gives that other answer, right, He's like, well, I
- 9:22Speaker 1: think you know moral No, not real hard answers, right, Like,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's all Kumbaiiism. There's nothing real there. It's like going
- 9:30Speaker 1: to church or they don't actually talk about God. Like
- 9:33Speaker 1: it's all warm and fuzzy and it's all everything's wonderful,
- 9:36Speaker 1: and we make you feel good about yourself and we
- 9:38Speaker 1: don't criticize or say there's anything that's right and wrong
- 9:40Speaker 1: in the world. That's the campaign. You've got that type
- 9:43Speaker 1: of leadership right now. The easiest way to get a
- 9:48Speaker 1: church to grow these days is to tell everyone in
- 9:50Speaker 1: the audience that no one's doing anything wrong, and you
- 9:52Speaker 1: make everybody feel good about every bad decision they're making.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's basically the Biden Waltz campaign or the Harris Say
- 10:00Speaker 1: Waltz campaign. And so then there's this other issue, and
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's a throwaway issue.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Is you can hear there throwaway.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Issues or where you ask a question of somebody and
- 10:13Speaker 1: you're expecting that you get through it quickly and you
- 10:18Speaker 1: check the box. I want you to think about what
- 10:22Speaker 1: Waltz said he wants to do. He wants to get
- 10:26Speaker 1: rid of the electoral college. What does that mean. It
- 10:28Speaker 1: means that the presidency of the United States of America
- 10:31Speaker 1: would be picked by big cities. And the way that
- 10:37Speaker 1: we campaign is you would literally not ever even step
- 10:42Speaker 1: inside a place like you would not even campaign for
- 10:46Speaker 1: the president in rural areas. You would never campaign in
- 10:53Speaker 1: areas where there wasn't a lot of voters. So look
- 10:56Speaker 1: at the map right if you go, and this is
- 10:59Speaker 1: the reason why the founding fathers and our country wanted
- 11:04Speaker 1: to make sure that people weren't overlooked. You go and
- 11:08Speaker 1: look at a map right now, and you take a
- 11:11Speaker 1: look at it. If you get rid of the electoral college,
- 11:15Speaker 1: there's nobody that will care about Idaho, Oregon, Utah, Wyoming, Montana,
- 11:21Speaker 1: North Dakota, South Dakota. No one would care about Iowa.
- 11:27Speaker 1: No one would care about Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, no
- 11:34Speaker 1: one would care about Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana. Probably like if
- 11:40Speaker 1: you're on the liberal side, you would change the entire
- 11:43Speaker 1: way that you look at the country and you run
- 11:47Speaker 1: a campaign. Democrats would go and camp out in just
- 11:50Speaker 1: the big cities where there are liberal cities, and they
- 11:53Speaker 1: would just say, all right, we just got to get
- 11:54Speaker 1: big turnout there, We just got to win the popular vote.
- 11:56Speaker 1: All these other places in the country, we don't have
- 11:58Speaker 1: to listen to them, we don't have to represent them.
- 12:00Speaker 1: And then something else even worse than that would happen
- 12:04Speaker 1: if you didn't have the electoral college the way that
- 12:06Speaker 1: we have it, you would also have laws and policies
- 12:11Speaker 1: that would favor big cities and hurt rural and smaller
- 12:17Speaker 1: town America because you would say, all right, look, I
- 12:19Speaker 1: need all of la to like me, so let's give
- 12:21Speaker 1: them a bunch of free stuff. Let's divert a bunch
- 12:24Speaker 1: of funds there, so people love me and they'll vote
- 12:26Speaker 1: for me, and I don't care if we're screwing other
- 12:28Speaker 1: Americans in other areas of the country. This is one
- 12:32Speaker 1: of the reasons why the electoral College is vitally important,
- 12:36Speaker 1: because if you don't have that, then what you're gonna
- 12:40Speaker 1: have is you're gonna have taxation with.
- 12:42Speaker 2: No representation at the White House.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Because presidents would only do things that would like pump
- 12:50Speaker 1: up their votes in a place like New York, LA, Boston, Miami, Atlanta,
- 13:00Speaker 1: everybody else, you would just take and divert resources.
- 13:03Speaker 2: And just screw them.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Like that's the easiest way I can describe it.
- 13:07Speaker 2: You would, you would say.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Screw them and just let like just just screw them
- 13:14Speaker 1: because we don't need their votes like we did before.
- 13:16Speaker 1: We need to divert everything somewhere else. That's that's what
- 13:21Speaker 1: it is. We just need to do it everywhere else. Well,
- 13:24Speaker 1: then they asked him about like, well, are you different
- 13:26Speaker 1: than the campaign? Now, of course I'm not different than
- 13:29Speaker 1: the campaign. I love the campaign, right, Like that's what
- 13:31Speaker 1: he says. Oh no, no, no, I love the campaign. I've
- 13:35Speaker 1: got the same position as the campaign. Really you do,
- 13:41Speaker 1: because you don't. But I think he's actually telling the truth.
- 13:45Speaker 1: I think the campaign's line because they understand that now's
- 13:48Speaker 1: not the time to say it, right. They're saying, now's
- 13:51Speaker 1: not the time to actually admit what you really want
- 13:54Speaker 1: to do, which is fundamentally change how we elect a
- 13:56Speaker 1: president of the United States of America because Democrats would
- 13:59Speaker 1: have much easier time.
- 14:02Speaker 2: That's what this is actually about.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And if you listen to how he responded that question,
- 14:09Speaker 1: this is a threat to our democracy. I'm not sure
- 14:13Speaker 1: that a Republican could ever win, and I'm not sure
- 14:19Speaker 1: the American people would would ever be represented the way
- 14:22Speaker 1: they are now if you change the electoral college the
- 14:25Speaker 1: way that he's describing it to a popular vote only
- 14:28Speaker 1: if you want to be represented, you'd have to move
- 14:30Speaker 1: to a big city where they'd actually talked to you
- 14:32Speaker 1: and care. But under representation, I mean, I'll give you
- 14:37Speaker 1: another example of this. Imagine look at how the response
- 14:42Speaker 1: has been so different in the hurricanes that have hit
- 14:45Speaker 1: if by the biased in this administration, just by where
- 14:48Speaker 1: you live. Imagine if a tornado hits in Middle America,
- 14:54Speaker 1: they wouldn't send probably any help because they'd be like,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I don't need those votes. There's not enough peace pull
- 15:01Speaker 1: in these small towns of you know, Padukea, Kentucky, or Jacksonsissippi,
- 15:06Speaker 1: or even Biloxi after Hurricane Katrina, like they'd just be like, look,
- 15:09Speaker 1: we like we don't need those votes, don't send resources.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You need to hold that money for things that happen
- 15:15Speaker 1: in LA or New York or Atlanta or Philadelphia or
- 15:19Speaker 1: Boston or Baltimore like that.
- 15:22Speaker 2: That's what it would actually be about. Like that, That's
- 15:24Speaker 2: what it would be.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And so you would govern in a way that would
- 15:29Speaker 1: be completely different. You would pass laws that would hurt
- 15:34Speaker 1: a large swap of you know, piece of America. If
- 15:39Speaker 1: you thought it would help you in a big city,
- 15:41Speaker 1: you would. You would have policies that would favor big
- 15:46Speaker 1: cities and really hurt rural America. You would never care
- 15:49Speaker 1: about union workers anymore. You wouldn't have to. You would
- 15:52Speaker 1: never care about farmers anymore. You wouldn't have to.
- 15:55Speaker 2: You would never.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Care about you know, coal miners or manufacturing any of
- 16:00Speaker 1: these things. You wouldn't care about liquid natural gas or
- 16:02Speaker 1: any of those issues anymore, right or fracking issues because
- 16:06Speaker 1: it's in areas that are rule. There are entire states
- 16:09Speaker 1: that would be left behind. North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming,
- 16:14Speaker 1: those states. Anything happens there, like there could be wildfires,
- 16:17Speaker 1: for example, I don't think the federal government would get involved.
- 16:19Speaker 1: They just say, yeah, we don't care if the whole
- 16:21Speaker 1: state birds down. We're not going to send money to
- 16:24Speaker 1: those states. And the reason why is pretty clear. Why
- 16:28Speaker 1: would we send money to a state right where we're
- 16:33Speaker 1: not going to get anything back in a presidential election year.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Now you understand why the electoral college is so vitally important.
- 16:41Speaker 1: You look at Tennessee, for example, and look at the
- 16:45Speaker 1: scenario of Tennessee. Look at the flooding in East Tennessee
- 16:49Speaker 1: that happened after this hurricane came through, Helleen.
- 16:52Speaker 2: You look at a state, Are they any chance they're
- 16:54Speaker 2: going to vote for us?
- 16:55Speaker 4: No?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Okay? Is there a lot of Democratic voters there?
- 16:57Speaker 4: No?
- 16:58Speaker 2: Especially in East Tennessee. Right, it's even more conservative.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Nashville is more liberal proper, Memphis more liberal proper, like
- 17:05Speaker 1: the Memphis area.
- 17:08Speaker 2: And you'd be like, all right, well, like.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We don't need to do anything. We don't need to
- 17:13Speaker 1: see send FEMA. Why would we need to send FEMA there.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It's a waste of time. Those people aren't going to
- 17:21Speaker 1: vote for us, So screw them, Like, it's just a
- 17:24Speaker 1: waste of time, So get rid of them, don't help them,
- 17:29Speaker 1: let them suffer. They're not important to us winning the presidency.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Do I believe Kama Harris pleaves what Tim Walls?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Please?
- 17:39Speaker 1: Absolutely, I do, like one hundred percent. I do, because
- 17:46Speaker 1: it's just easier for them. The media ad bys you
- 17:50Speaker 1: would make would be so different. The ad bys would
- 17:54Speaker 1: be different. It'd be easier to get elected. You could
- 17:56Speaker 1: buy elections if you can just flood the airwaves information
- 18:00Speaker 1: in towns that you care about.
- 18:03Speaker 2: This would be amazing for the Democratic Party.
- 18:06Speaker 1: When they tell you that they this is how they
- 18:09Speaker 1: look at America, this is what they believe about America.
- 18:13Speaker 1: This is how they want to gain power. I say it,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and I'll say it again. Believe them when they tell
- 18:18Speaker 1: you this. Okay, like, believe them. Believe them. They're telling
- 18:23Speaker 1: you what they want to do, so believe them. Tamala
- 18:27Speaker 1: Harris doing fake town halls where she has a secret teleprompter.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She got busted for that. That's the best part about it.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But it doesn't really matter because the media doesn't expose it.
- 18:38Speaker 1: That's my job apparently, and others like me, because otherwise
- 18:41Speaker 1: no one would ever know. And what's even more shocking
- 18:45Speaker 1: than that is Waltz has come out now saying he's
- 18:47Speaker 1: in favor of getting.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Rid of the electoral college. Why why not? Right? Why
- 18:56Speaker 2: why not just get rid of the electoral college?
- 19:00Speaker 3: Listen to this, Like something you said on Tuesday, she said,
- 19:03Speaker 3: I think all of us know the electoral college needs
- 19:05Speaker 3: to go. But the campaign came out later that night
- 19:08Speaker 3: and they said that's not their stands.
- 19:10Speaker 5: Well, it's not the campaign's position. And the point I'm
- 19:12Speaker 5: trying to make is that there's folks that feel every
- 19:15Speaker 5: vote must count in every state, and I think some
- 19:18Speaker 5: of folks feel that's not the case.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Our campaign does that.
- 19:21Speaker 5: And the point I'm saying is, I'm in five states
- 19:23Speaker 5: in two days. We're out there making the case that
- 19:26Speaker 5: the campaign's position is clear that that's not their position.
- 19:29Speaker 5: Their position and my position is is to make sure
- 19:31Speaker 5: that everybody understands their vote no matter what state they're in, matters.
- 19:35Speaker 3: So that's something that you and our President Harris disagree on.
- 19:38Speaker 5: I have spoken about it in the past that she's
- 19:40Speaker 5: been very clear on this and the campaign and my
- 19:42Speaker 5: position is the campaign's position.
- 19:44Speaker 4: And let's talk about the economy that Like.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I love that, right, Like, oh, it's just my position
- 19:49Speaker 1: is the position of the campaign.
- 19:51Speaker 2: No, it's not. You just contradicted yourself.
- 19:55Speaker 1: And you notice how straight hands like, Okay, I'm not
- 19:59Speaker 1: going to tackle you.
- 20:00Speaker 2: You on that to use this, you know, favorite sport
- 20:02Speaker 2: he played.
- 20:03Speaker 1: And now he's interviewing people for the presidency, which is
- 20:05Speaker 1: also just insane to me that.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Michael Strahan is doing this.
- 20:08Speaker 1: But whatever, I digress, Right, it's just like it's all rigged,
- 20:11Speaker 1: it's all against us.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 20:13Speaker 1: So now let's go to the economy. He's like, yep,
- 20:17Speaker 1: trying to move on. Let's talk about other issues. Right,
- 20:20Speaker 1: Let's just let's just move straight past.
- 20:23Speaker 3: That, and let's talk about the economy. That is the
- 20:26Speaker 3: top issue. You're voted out there. Seventy four percent of
- 20:29Speaker 3: voters said to pass you, they've had to cut back
- 20:30Speaker 3: on groceries because of the writhing costs, of course, and
- 20:33Speaker 3: a lot of those voters they're concerned that they cast
- 20:36Speaker 3: her vote for Kamala Harris, but she's responsible for that.
- 20:40Speaker 3: So how do you reach those voters? What do you
- 20:41Speaker 3: say to those voters who may blame her for the economy?
- 20:44Speaker 5: Right now, folks in the middle, what we talked to
- 20:45Speaker 5: him about, what are the policies that are going to
- 20:47Speaker 5: make a difference. And we see some of the data,
- 20:49Speaker 5: but data doesn't impact people in their daily lives. Go
- 20:51Speaker 5: into the grocery store and you see false information, whether
- 20:54Speaker 5: it's bird flu impacting eggs. But the reality for most
- 20:57Speaker 5: people is if those costs are up, they want to
- 20:59Speaker 5: know what you're going to do about it. I think
- 21:00Speaker 5: that's why she's focusing on making sure whether it's home
- 21:02Speaker 5: ownership more affordable, tax cuts for the middle class, and
- 21:06Speaker 5: let's just be candid about this, this price couging piece of.
- 21:09Speaker 3: This, and something that former President Trump says, something that
- 21:13Speaker 3: within your debate with they were saying that, hey, the
- 21:18Speaker 3: either policy that Kamala Harris could have done three years ago,
- 21:22Speaker 3: she was in the White House with President Biden and
- 21:25Speaker 3: she never did. What do you say to people who
- 21:28Speaker 3: bring that up, Well, well, Donald Trump.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Had four years to do it.
- 21:31Speaker 5: If you're going to talk about that, and the butt is,
- 21:33Speaker 5: you need a partner in Congress.
- 21:34Speaker 4: You've seen these We've seen.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Different bills that are ready to pass, and Donald Trump
- 21:38Speaker 5: make sure he steps in. We saw it around immigration,
- 21:41Speaker 5: a bipartisan bill widely respected. Wanting to make a difference
- 21:45Speaker 5: in this holding true to our value securing the border.
- 21:48Speaker 5: Donald Trump steps in and says look, that's going to
- 21:50Speaker 5: hurt my political future.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Let's not make it happen.
- 21:53Speaker 3: Let's talk about your record, and you call yourself a knucklehead.
- 21:56Speaker 2: Can we go back to just how quick they edited that?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Did you know?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Like, now let's go to something else, Like he just
- 22:04Speaker 1: said something that is not an answer to a real
- 22:09Speaker 1: question about the economy. He doesn't really answer the question.
- 22:13Speaker 1: He doesn't talk about the pain and suffering of the
- 22:15Speaker 1: American voters. It's a check the box interview and then
- 22:19Speaker 1: they immediately edit. You can hear the hard edit there.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You can hear the jump cut at it, as we
- 22:24Speaker 1: call it in radio and TV. And they're like, let's
- 22:27Speaker 1: talk about you. You kind of say sometimes you're a knucklehead. Now,
- 22:32Speaker 1: knucklehead is the excuse that they're now giving for him
- 22:36Speaker 1: lying about seeing combat, lying about his rank in the military,
- 22:42Speaker 1: lying about in vitro, lying about I mean, there's a
- 22:45Speaker 1: pretty good list. Now, the stolen valor one actually bothers me,
- 22:50Speaker 1: I think the most.
- 22:51Speaker 2: It should bother you the.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Most, because if you're willing to lie about stolen valor,
- 22:55Speaker 1: it's pretty bad. But listen, as he continues, right, they
- 23:02Speaker 1: are basically saying, oh, he lied about, you know, seeing
- 23:06Speaker 1: combat with a firearm.
- 23:08Speaker 2: He was never deployed to a combat zone.
- 23:10Speaker 1: He lied about that too, And they're like, oh, you're
- 23:13Speaker 1: just you know, you say you're a knucklehead, lied about
- 23:17Speaker 1: being in tim Square. He's like, I'm a knucklehead, Like
- 23:21Speaker 1: and not I'm a liar, Not I'm a pathological liar.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Not my resume, what's on it.
- 23:26Speaker 1: I've lied about the biggest things to make myself look
- 23:29Speaker 1: bigger than I am, to get where I am today.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It quickly worked, by the way he's now. People ask
- 23:38Speaker 1: questions and they're like, and so this is the media.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You've called yourself a knucklehead. That's the excuse, Not hey,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're a pathological liar. There's a lot of people in
- 23:46Speaker 1: the military are very angry about you lying about seeing combat,
- 23:48Speaker 1: very angry about you claiming that you carried weapons of
- 23:51Speaker 1: war on the field with him and you didn't, claiming
- 23:53Speaker 1: that you were a rank that you weren't. There's a
- 23:56Speaker 1: lot of protesters out there, those that we're at Tenuman
- 24:01Speaker 1: Square that can't believe that you claim that you were
- 24:02Speaker 1: at Tenem Square during the worst days there. You lied
- 24:07Speaker 1: about that too, Like that would be a real question,
- 24:10Speaker 1: why should anyone trust you with your story at all?
- 24:14Speaker 2: That would be a real question the question you got. Yeah,
- 24:17Speaker 2: you describe yourself as, you know, being a knucklehead. You're
- 24:19Speaker 2: a knuckle ahead, pathological eye now it is knucklehead. Now.
- 24:25Speaker 1: By the way, media doesn't like sing Donald Trump says,
- 24:28Speaker 1: he says something that's not true.
- 24:30Speaker 2: What are they saying?
- 24:31Speaker 1: He's a dictator, he's a tyrant, he's a psychopath, he's
- 24:34Speaker 1: a narcissist, he's crazy, can't be trusted with the nuclear codes.
- 24:38Speaker 1: By the way, he said things that are true, and
- 24:41Speaker 1: they also say the same things. But there is your
- 24:44Speaker 1: bias in the media and this this question of him
- 24:48Speaker 1: and this ABC News exclusive, it's perfect example that you
- 24:51Speaker 1: describe yourself, you know, as.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Kind of a knucklehead. You're you're you're a knucklehead.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Happen, let's talk about your record.
- 25:00Speaker 3: You call yourself a knucklehead, and call yourself a knucklehea
- 25:02Speaker 3: because you've made some statements that just aren't true. In
- 25:06Speaker 3: a common about weapon of the war that I carried
- 25:07Speaker 3: in ward, which you didn't. You said you were in
- 25:10Speaker 3: Hong Kong doing a tan and in Square massacre when
- 25:12Speaker 3: you weren't. You kind of chalked it all up the
- 25:15Speaker 3: bad grammar or getting the dates wrong. But your opponents
- 25:19Speaker 3: say you lied to make yourself look better.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Do they have a point?
- 25:24Speaker 5: Well, look, thirty five years ago, got the opportunity to
- 25:27Speaker 5: be in Hong Kong, be in China, learned a lot
- 25:29Speaker 5: about it, served twenty four years in the National Guard,
- 25:33Speaker 5: passionately in an instance talking about gun violence in schools
- 25:38Speaker 5: on an instance there. Proud of the service that I've done,
- 25:41Speaker 5: Proud to be a teacher in that classroom, Proud to
- 25:43Speaker 5: have been very public all these years and owning it
- 25:46Speaker 5: when I said, look, I was there in August of
- 25:49Speaker 5: eighty nine, and I think what you see here you
- 25:51Speaker 5: saw in Minnesota. I've been elected eight times here, these
- 25:54Speaker 5: things have been very public for folks here. They see
- 25:57Speaker 5: the results of things that we passed. We see a
- 25:59Speaker 5: state that it's a top five state for business. We
- 26:01Speaker 5: see third best state, top three state for raising a child,
- 26:05Speaker 5: and we've got the best healthcare.
- 26:06Speaker 4: And I think the policies, whether.
- 26:08Speaker 5: It be dealing with China and understanding China's human rights record.
- 26:11Speaker 5: What you can be certain there is that Kamala Harris
- 26:13Speaker 5: and I aren't going to pick dictators on speed dial
- 26:18Speaker 5: see c Jing pinions doing a good job during COVID,
- 26:20Speaker 5: as Donald Trump said, And I think those lessons learned
- 26:23Speaker 5: over a lifetime of being very public, whether it's in
- 26:26Speaker 5: the classroom or being elected.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Great pivot there.
- 26:29Speaker 1: By the way, when you do debate prep and when
- 26:34Speaker 1: you do prep for interviews, that is exactly I would
- 26:38Speaker 1: have him answer that question right, Donald Trump's evil and bad.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I just lie about my record. Donald Trump's evil and
- 26:43Speaker 1: bad and a threat to America. I just happen to
- 26:46Speaker 1: lie about the most important things accomplishments in my life. Now,
- 26:50Speaker 1: if you have a real journalist, they would have a
- 26:53Speaker 1: follow up question to that.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Was there a follow up question?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Now, there's a lot of questions about his service, his rank,
- 27:02Speaker 1: his lies about being at Tim Square's lies on in
- 27:05Speaker 1: feature of viertilization with his own kids, Like, there's a lot.
- 27:09Speaker 1: You could argue the biggest things in his resume have
- 27:12Speaker 1: major fraud involved in them. So did they do a
- 27:17Speaker 1: follow up question when they asked him a question about
- 27:21Speaker 1: this and his quote knucklehead andness or were they just
- 27:24Speaker 1: checking a box over there at ABC News? Well, he
- 27:27Speaker 1: answered the question by attacking Trump, not actually answering the question,
- 27:30Speaker 1: what's the very next question the interview listen, Well.
- 27:33Speaker 3: You know, but if it's one thing of trust, some
- 27:36Speaker 3: people who say we can't trust him even tell the
- 27:39Speaker 3: truth about himself, what do you say to them?
- 27:41Speaker 5: Well, I said, they know who I am. I know
- 27:43Speaker 5: who I am, I know the work that I've done.
- 27:45Speaker 5: I know that things gets fun in a political environment.
- 27:48Speaker 5: But I think what they see is if they want
- 27:50Speaker 5: to compare that talking about immigration policy or seeing the
- 27:53Speaker 5: things that Donald Trump would say, I think there's a
- 27:56Speaker 5: big difference than missing a date when you're there and
- 27:59Speaker 5: again and spinning something for a political reason.
- 28:02Speaker 4: I'm very clear of who I've been.
- 28:03Speaker 5: I'm very proud of twenty four years of doing that work,
- 28:06Speaker 5: and I think going to Congress and working for veterans,
- 28:09Speaker 5: they want to see it and make the difference look
- 28:11Speaker 5: a little different. I think people in Minnesota, my students,
- 28:14Speaker 5: the folks I've worked with members of Congress, they know
- 28:17Speaker 5: who I am, and they know the policies we put
- 28:19Speaker 5: in place have made an impact.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And Vice President Harrison is she told you to be
- 28:24Speaker 3: a little bit more careful on how you say things.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Well, I did it.
- 28:28Speaker 5: You know, even the other day of just speaking passionately
- 28:32Speaker 5: about these gun violence situations and meeting with these survivors.
- 28:35Speaker 5: I've said in the room with the Sandy Hook folks,
- 28:38Speaker 5: a friend with David Hogg, who's been an activist on this.
- 28:41Speaker 5: People know in that, and then that gets spun in
- 28:43Speaker 5: that he didn't say something true. It was very clear
- 28:46Speaker 5: that I was talking about these veterans, very clear that
- 28:48Speaker 5: I wear you know, I wear my emotions on my sleeve,
- 28:52Speaker 5: and I do think in these positions, whether it be
- 28:53Speaker 5: governor or being vice president of the United States, you
- 28:56Speaker 5: do need.
- 28:56Speaker 4: To be collect careful. You do need to be a
- 28:59Speaker 4: little more thoughtful on it.
- 29:01Speaker 5: And I think what you see as as someone who's
- 29:03Speaker 5: been in classrooms a lot, I been around coaching a lot.
- 29:07Speaker 5: I speak passionately, and I think doing that you need
- 29:11Speaker 5: to you need to combine the two. And I think
- 29:13Speaker 5: that's what she's she's referring to. And you spent years
- 29:18Speaker 5: as a high school defensive coordinator. Yes, the coach getting
- 29:22Speaker 5: the guys.
- 29:23Speaker 1: By the way, I love that jump there. They're like, Okay,
- 29:25Speaker 1: we got the coach answer. I speak passionately. Therefore I'm
- 29:29Speaker 1: allowed to be a pathological liar that that's the excuse.
- 29:34Speaker 1: I speak passionately, so I'm a I should be allowed
- 29:39Speaker 1: to be a pathological liar about my entire career. And
- 29:43Speaker 1: then immediately they jump from there to walking down the
- 29:46Speaker 1: hall and two football players right talking to one another.
- 29:50Speaker 1: You were a you were a D line coach, right, like,
- 29:53Speaker 1: you know, let's let's let's yuck it up here. I'm
- 29:57Speaker 1: just I'm just a guy that you know. I I
- 30:00Speaker 1: speak passionately. All right, let's talk football.
- 30:02Speaker 3: And you spent years as a high school defensive coordinator, Yes,
- 30:08Speaker 3: the coach getting the guys together out there on that field.
- 30:11Speaker 4: And you credit that experience and you say, that's something that.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Makes you uniquely position to help America go where you
- 30:19Speaker 3: feel like you should go.
- 30:20Speaker 4: How did that make you uniquely quantify for that?
- 30:22Speaker 5: Well, I think it's about building teams, about bringing diverse
- 30:25Speaker 5: folks in finding where their skills work. I feel like
- 30:28Speaker 5: I'm on a championship team with Vice President Harris. But
- 30:31Speaker 5: it's that idea of molding, shaping, providing guidance, but understanding
- 30:36Speaker 5: that you're just a piece of it.
- 30:38Speaker 4: The folks, the players got to play.
- 30:39Speaker 5: I always said, you've got to put them in a
- 30:41Speaker 5: position to be successful. And I think where you see
- 30:43Speaker 5: these positions, whether it's governor or vice president, got to
- 30:46Speaker 5: put the American people in a position to be successful,
- 30:49Speaker 5: and they'll do it.
- 30:49Speaker 4: They'll do it. That's it.
- 30:54Speaker 2: There it is.
- 30:54Speaker 1: There's your hard hitting, tough propaganda interview from Good Morning
- 30:58Speaker 1: America five days before election day. And that's what they've
- 31:03Speaker 1: got to offer you. That's the whole thing. Like there's
- 31:06Speaker 1: nothing else but that.
- 31:08Speaker 2: That it that Like, that's it.
- 31:11Speaker 1: There, it is there, there's there's there's no reason for
- 31:15Speaker 1: for you to not be excited, because there is the excitement.
- 31:20Speaker 1: You need to be excited. You need to be fired up,
- 31:24Speaker 1: you need to be all about this. You need to
- 31:27Speaker 1: make sure that you are We answer, we asked all
- 31:30Speaker 1: those tough questions. There is nothing else for you to
- 31:34Speaker 1: worry about. There is nothing else for you to be
- 31:37Speaker 1: concerned about. Like this is the ballgame, folks. We've got
- 31:41Speaker 1: it all for you, every bit of it.
- 31:44Speaker 2: It's all yours. It's all yours.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 31:49Speaker 1: your friends, and I'll see you back here tomorrow
