Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / Chaos Erupts in the House as Hunter Makes an Appearance
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: You have no cojones.
- 0:03Speaker 2: That's what the House committee said to Hunter Biden as
- 0:07Speaker 2: it descended into chaos as Hunter Biden crashed the contempt vote,
- 0:12Speaker 2: which was clearly an orchestrated effort to try to hijack
- 0:16Speaker 2: the entire hearing. President Joe Biden's son made a surprise
- 0:20Speaker 2: appearance the House Oversight Committee hearing where Republicans plan to
- 0:25Speaker 2: approve a resolution holding him in contempt of Congress. Hunter
- 0:28Speaker 2: Biden decided, I'll show you and I will show up.
- 0:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:32Speaker 2: It served as a reminder that he had offered, as
- 0:35Speaker 2: he described it, to testify and response to Republican subpoena
- 0:38Speaker 2: for his testimony, but only in public. It would not
- 0:41Speaker 2: actually do it behind closed doors in a normal deposition,
- 0:45Speaker 2: the way that all of the children of Donald J.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Trump that were called to do the same.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Type of depositions showed up and did them. Republicans have
- 0:56Speaker 2: insisted he's speaking a private deposition just like everyone else,
- 1:00Speaker 2: just like the rural state, and are now holding him
- 1:03Speaker 2: in contempt because of his refusal.
- 1:06Speaker 1: So what did he decide to do?
- 1:07Speaker 2: He decided to show up and well try to make
- 1:11Speaker 2: a mockery of all of this. Well, Republicans fought back.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Here's what it sounded like.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Firstaul, my first question is who bribed Hunter Biden to
- 1:21Speaker 4: be here today?
- 1:22Speaker 5: That's my first question.
- 1:24Speaker 6: Second question, You are the epitome of white privilege, coming
- 1:28Speaker 6: into the Oversight Committee, spitting in our face, ignoring a
- 1:31Speaker 6: congressional subpoena to be deposed.
- 1:34Speaker 5: What are you afraid of?
- 1:35Speaker 1: You have no balls to come up here, mister chairman.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Point of inquiry.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Mister chairman, if the general, if the general lady wants
- 1:44Speaker 4: to hear from Hunter Biden, we can hear from him
- 1:46Speaker 4: right now.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Chairman. Let's take a vote and hear from Hunter Biden.
- 1:49Speaker 1: What are you afraid order? Speaking?
- 1:55Speaker 5: Are women allowed to speak? Or do you keep interrupting me?
- 1:58Speaker 1: I'll interrupt the chairman. He's a lady.
- 2:01Speaker 6: I think that, uh that Hunter Biden should be arrested
- 2:04Speaker 6: right here, right now and go.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Straight to jail.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Our nation is found and on the rules, Come on,
- 2:09Speaker 6: come on.
- 2:10Speaker 4: The premise applies equally to everyone, no matter what.
- 2:14Speaker 3: You're lack point of order, mister chairman.
- 2:16Speaker 5: Point of order, matter who you are.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Point of order, Miss chairman, Biggs over here, Bigs over here,
- 2:22Speaker 3: stake your point, my point of order is this? Are
- 2:25Speaker 3: we going to continue on with with this blatant interruption?
- 2:30Speaker 1: This?
- 2:30Speaker 3: This is absurd and inappropriate. I intend to give my statement.
- 2:36Speaker 3: I don't intend to have anybody interrupted. I'm not going
- 2:39Speaker 3: to interrupt your statements. I think you should have decorum
- 2:42Speaker 3: and curtsy and don't act like a bunch of nimrods.
- 2:46Speaker 1: You just interrupted a woman and that's five.
- 2:48Speaker 3: I got, I got everyone, mister chairman, can we agree
- 2:53Speaker 3: point point of order? Again? The assertion that I interrupted
- 2:58Speaker 3: was absolutely false. That's typical of the gentleman who spoke it.
- 3:02Speaker 3: I got permission to speak from the chairman, I spoke,
- 3:06Speaker 3: I was interrupted yet again by the gentleman who doesn't
- 3:10Speaker 3: choose to go through the chair and follow proper order.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I encourage us.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I think if we're gonna have any respect at all,
- 3:18Speaker 3: we need to have proper decorum.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Well, you well said, that was just a taste of
- 3:24Speaker 2: what happened today. Now represented Mace saying, who bribed Hunter
- 3:28Speaker 2: Biden to be here today? You have no balls to
- 3:30Speaker 2: come up here? Her words Democrats. Of course they went
- 3:36Speaker 2: berserk over this. Why because she said, this is the
- 3:40Speaker 2: definition of white privilege. You come in here, spit in
- 3:43Speaker 2: the face the committee say the rules don't apply to you,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and that is white privilege. Now, Democratic Representative Crockett she
- 3:51Speaker 2: was furious at represent A Mace for calling Hunter Biden
- 3:54Speaker 2: out for his white privilege when she said, it was
- 3:57Speaker 2: a spit in the face at last mine as a
- 4:00Speaker 2: black woman. She came back and said, listen.
- 4:03Speaker 5: Something that I just can't get over.
- 4:05Speaker 7: I can't get over the gentle lady from South Carolina
- 4:08Speaker 7: talking about white privilege. It was a spit in the
- 4:11Speaker 7: face at least of mine as a black woman, for
- 4:14Speaker 7: you to talk about what white privilege looks like, especially.
- 4:16Speaker 5: From that side of the aisle.
- 4:18Speaker 7: And let me quote your now ousted speaker and what
- 4:21Speaker 7: he had to say about the Republican Party and y'all's
- 4:24Speaker 7: lack of diversity. When you look at the Democrats, they
- 4:28Speaker 7: actually look like America. When I look at my party,
- 4:31Speaker 7: we look like the most restrictive country club in America.
- 4:35Speaker 5: So let me tell you something.
- 4:37Speaker 7: Y'all don't know what white privilege looks like.
- 4:39Speaker 5: But I'm gonna show you a little bit of something.
- 4:42Speaker 5: You see.
- 4:43Speaker 7: You want to talk about a two tier justice system,
- 4:45Speaker 7: And this is the only time that y'all have ever
- 4:47Speaker 7: referenced it when this country has a history when it
- 4:50Speaker 7: comes to black and brown folk, of having two separate
- 4:54Speaker 7: sets of rules, and right now what you want to
- 4:56Speaker 7: do is have two separate sets of rules. Because mister
- 5:00Speaker 7: Schooz offered y'all a fair situation. He said he would
- 5:04Speaker 7: vote for a Hunter to be held in contempt if
- 5:06Speaker 7: y'all voted to hold all. Even if you remove all
- 5:09Speaker 7: of the members of Congress, there's still other people that
- 5:12Speaker 7: y'all haven't decided that y'all have excuses for it, but
- 5:14Speaker 7: y'all don't want to hold them in contempt. But for
- 5:17Speaker 7: some reason, it makes sense to hold Hunter Biden and
- 5:20Speaker 7: contempt who has tried to comply. And let me tell
- 5:23Speaker 7: you why nobody wants to talk to y'all behind closed doors,
- 5:25Speaker 7: because y'all lie. That's just the bottom line. You have
- 5:29Speaker 7: done it thus far in this investigation. You have done
- 5:31Speaker 7: it this far as it relates to this committee, and
- 5:34Speaker 7: every single hearing, y'all spin, spin, spin.
- 5:37Speaker 5: I don't know how y'all.
- 5:38Speaker 7: Are still standing right now, because you should be quite
- 5:40Speaker 7: dizzy from all the spending that you're constantly doing.
- 5:43Speaker 5: When it comes to spending the.
- 5:45Speaker 7: Truth you talk about free and fair elections, but you
- 5:48Speaker 7: back a guy who we know tried to steal the election.
- 5:51Speaker 7: And this isn't about what Democrats have to say. Let
- 5:54Speaker 7: me remind you, for those of you that don't know
- 5:56Speaker 7: how the justice system works, it's not a matter of
- 5:59Speaker 7: the president went in and indicted Trump, but we are
- 6:03Speaker 7: talking about grand juries.
- 6:04Speaker 5: Grand juries are.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Comprised of American citizens and the people that have entered
- 6:09Speaker 7: pleased of guilty that will.
- 6:11Speaker 5: Be flipping on your leader in a minute.
- 6:14Speaker 7: They are Republicans, I do want to point that out,
- 6:16Speaker 7: and half of them were Republicans that were handpicked by
- 6:19Speaker 7: Donald Trump himself. So to be clear, whatever happens to
- 6:24Speaker 7: your little leader, it's going to be because of the
- 6:28Speaker 7: actions that he took. So you can talk all you
- 6:30Speaker 7: want to about how January sixth was nonsense, but all
- 6:33Speaker 7: of y'all.
- 6:34Speaker 5: Were running at that time.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Y'all were grabbing y'all's gas mask, and y'all were running to.
- 6:38Speaker 5: Your offices because you didn't know if they were coming
- 6:40Speaker 5: to kill you.
- 6:41Speaker 7: You should have cared that somebody was there to protect you,
- 6:44Speaker 7: but instead you want to play games because you found
- 6:46Speaker 7: out that it was your leader that decided that he
- 6:49Speaker 7: wanted to propagate an insurrection on our country.
- 6:53Speaker 5: So don't tell me.
- 6:54Speaker 7: That you care about the constitution because you don't.
- 6:57Speaker 5: All you care.
- 6:57Speaker 7: About is Trump getting reelected. And I'll yield the last
- 7:00Speaker 7: of my time to my leader.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'll tell you.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yeah, who cares if Joe Biden's been making millions of
- 7:08Speaker 2: dollars off of his son, because let me tell you
- 7:11Speaker 2: about why privilege you country club crackers over there on
- 7:15Speaker 2: the other side of the are you little leader? I
- 7:17Speaker 2: wonder how much money the Democrats had to pay her
- 7:19Speaker 2: to give that response. Yeah, this is what happens when
- 7:23Speaker 2: Hunter Biden shows up to Washington. This is what happens
- 7:26Speaker 2: when Hunter Biden shows up and says he tried to comply, Right,
- 7:30Speaker 2: he tried to comply.
- 7:33Speaker 1: No, he didn't. Complying would be showing.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Up and giving the closed door deposition, just like Donald
- 7:39Speaker 2: Trump's chit kids did when they were in that ridiculous
- 7:42Speaker 2: witch hunt over Russia collusion. Hunter Biden to a Fox reporter,
- 7:47Speaker 2: Take a listen, mister.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Biden, why did you put your dad on speakerphone with
- 7:51Speaker 6: your business partners if he had no involvement in your business.
- 7:54Speaker 6: You have a dad, yes, yes, Why did you need
- 8:00Speaker 6: to talk to him during business meetings if he had
- 8:02Speaker 6: nothing to.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Do with your business.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Why did you have to talk to your dad during
- 8:08Speaker 2: business meetings if you had nothing to do with your business.
- 8:12Speaker 2: You got a dad, right. You notice how fast this
- 8:15Speaker 2: was backfiring. And look, the fact of the matter is
- 8:19Speaker 2: Hunter Biden and these the facts failed to comply with
- 8:22Speaker 2: a lawful subpoena. President Biden's family have obstructed the investigation
- 8:27Speaker 2: of the Republicans every step of the way.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Why because they're hiding something?
- 8:32Speaker 2: What are they hiding the millions of dollars that they
- 8:35Speaker 2: made selling out this country. The highest shady corrupt dealers
- 8:39Speaker 2: in the world are adversaries. This backfire is one that
- 8:45Speaker 2: I think will go down in history. Is one of
- 8:47Speaker 2: the dumbest moves ever made by a politician's family member.
- 8:52Speaker 2: You also understand this was all pre planned. This wasn't
- 8:55Speaker 2: an accident. Just so you, I want to make that clear.
- 8:58Speaker 2: This was not an act. This was done deliberately on purpose.
- 9:03Speaker 2: And the reason why we know that is because there
- 9:06Speaker 2: was even poster boards that were printed out. There were
- 9:10Speaker 2: poster boards that Democrats had ready knowing that Hunter Biden
- 9:14Speaker 2: was going to show up. We also know that the
- 9:17Speaker 2: Secret Service was in place an hour before all this happened,
- 9:20Speaker 2: so they knew about it, which meant the Capitol Police
- 9:23Speaker 2: knew about it, which meant members of Congress on the
- 9:25Speaker 2: Democratic side also knew about it. And the main reason
- 9:29Speaker 2: why Hunter Biden showed up with basically the equivalent of
- 9:32Speaker 2: two middle fingers out to this committee is because he
- 9:35Speaker 2: knows that he will not be held in contempt.
- 9:39Speaker 1: The DOJ will not prosecute him.
- 9:41Speaker 2: They are completely compromised by the Biden administration and their leadership.
- 9:47Speaker 2: They will not prosecute. Let me let you also hear
- 9:51Speaker 2: from Marjorie Taylor Green, who said, look, Joe Biden, these
- 9:55Speaker 2: are her words, is guilty of human trafficking in this
- 9:58Speaker 2: country with his border the policies, and his son is
- 10:02Speaker 2: guilty of human sex trafficking. Listen, So, Marjorie, you had
- 10:06Speaker 2: a big morning too. I mean, just a word or
- 10:09Speaker 2: two on this Hunter Biden story. I mean, look, I
- 10:12Speaker 2: don't care. I want to retire Joe Biden, but the
- 10:15Speaker 2: point is I don't see how his antics help his
- 10:19Speaker 2: father or the Democratic Party one iota.
- 10:22Speaker 4: You tell me, Bijorie, I completely agree with you. Larry
- 10:26Speaker 4: as a matter of fact, the antics we saw today
- 10:28Speaker 4: are all for a movie being produced. I watched them
- 10:32Speaker 4: come in the courtroom as Hunter Biden came in, flanked
- 10:35Speaker 4: by his lawyers and his business partner, Kevin Morris, but
- 10:39Speaker 4: there was another guy there with a camera. You see,
- 10:41Speaker 4: Hunter Biden is filming a movie where he's trying to
- 10:44Speaker 4: paint himself as the victim, when in fact we know
- 10:48Speaker 4: he's not a victim at all. As a matter of fact,
- 10:50Speaker 4: he's a criminal. And they sat there listening to our
- 10:53Speaker 4: oversight hearing where we're voting to hold him in contempt
- 10:56Speaker 4: of Congress, until it was my turn to speak, Larry,
- 11:00Speaker 4: and that's when Hunter Biden quickly jumped up and the
- 11:03Speaker 4: rest of them ran out of the room. And I
- 11:05Speaker 4: know he was afraid of my words because I was
- 11:08Speaker 4: going to talk about the very serious crimes that he's committed,
- 11:12Speaker 4: and we have evidence of which is man Act violations,
- 11:15Speaker 4: this is human sex trafficking, and Larry, I'll say, the
- 11:19Speaker 4: irony is blaring. Joe Biden is guilty of human trafficking
- 11:24Speaker 4: with his border policies, and his son, Hunter Biden is
- 11:27Speaker 4: guilty of human sex trafficking, and we have.
- 11:30Speaker 1: The receipts, and we have the receipts.
- 11:34Speaker 2: So when you hear the Democrats sayd there like, hey,
- 11:36Speaker 2: we got nothing on our guy. Our guy's done nothing wrong, right,
- 11:41Speaker 2: there is nothing that has happened here that is wrong
- 11:43Speaker 2: and you should know this.
- 11:44Speaker 1: By the way, AOC got in on the action.
- 11:46Speaker 2: She was also very upset apparently about the white privileged
- 11:51Speaker 2: comment that Hunter Biden has got white privilege. And by
- 11:54Speaker 2: the way, it is white privilege right to show up
- 11:55Speaker 2: before Congress on the day that they're going to find
- 11:58Speaker 2: you in contempt and mock them and then say I'm
- 12:01Speaker 2: here when you're not here for the subpoenas, when you're
- 12:03Speaker 2: not here for the depositions. It is absolutely white privilege.
- 12:09Speaker 2: That is the definition of white privilege. There was also
- 12:14Speaker 2: the other parts of the backfire. You had reporters that
- 12:17Speaker 2: were yelling different things at Hunter Biden, and some of
- 12:21Speaker 2: them were hilarious.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Listen to this, please.
- 12:23Speaker 6: I'll answer your question if you peak by it, And
- 12:25Speaker 6: let me make a statement.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Every practice you normally smoke must provide him.
- 12:30Speaker 2: What type of crack do you normally smoke, mister Biden.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Let me just say I laughed at that.
- 12:36Speaker 2: I thought that was hysterical because if you're going to
- 12:39Speaker 2: show up and you're going to make a mockery and
- 12:42Speaker 2: a documentary and a film. There was a documentary film
- 12:45Speaker 2: crew that this was all for the cameras, and then
- 12:48Speaker 2: Hunter Biden stormed out of the House Oversight Committee. You
- 12:51Speaker 2: can hear it is Margely mentioned a minute ago. As
- 12:53Speaker 2: soon as you start talking, listen to what happens. He
- 12:55Speaker 2: stands up.
- 12:56Speaker 4: In leaves, thank you, mister chairman. Excuse me, Hunter, apparently
- 13:01Speaker 4: you're afraid of my words.
- 13:03Speaker 5: And love you.
- 13:07Speaker 4: Oh I like to reclaim my time, mister chairman.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Bubble there it is walking out right. Republicans start talking.
- 13:17Speaker 2: He's out of there. The film crew got what they needed.
- 13:19Speaker 2: He showed up making this documentary to make it look
- 13:24Speaker 2: like you are somehow a victim. And the media, by
- 13:29Speaker 2: the way, was tipped off to this as well. MSNBC
- 13:32Speaker 2: was the first one to carry the live pictures of
- 13:35Speaker 2: him coming into the Capitol at ten oh six am.
- 13:37Speaker 1: Here's how they covered it. They want to live images.
- 13:42Speaker 8: Right now, we see Hunter Biden appearing at the Capitol,
- 13:45Speaker 8: just walking through the door. Looks like he's surrounded with
- 13:48Speaker 8: his secret service team there and other members of his entourage,
- 13:52Speaker 8: but he is officially at the Capitol as these hearings
- 13:55Speaker 8: get underway. We're looking at live images right now as
- 13:59Speaker 8: he goes through it appears the medical the medal detector
- 14:03Speaker 8: or nearby the metal detectors.
- 14:05Speaker 2: Uh.
- 14:06Speaker 8: And we presumably expect him to enter at least one
- 14:11Speaker 8: of these committee rooms because again this is before the
- 14:14Speaker 8: Oversight Committee. Also action happening in the Judiciary Committee. We're
- 14:18Speaker 8: just going to follow these cameras and Hunter Biden and
- 14:21Speaker 8: see where he's going to head, what's going to happen next.
- 14:27Speaker 5: Again, he wasn't.
- 14:29Speaker 8: Expected to show up for these hearings from the sense
- 14:32Speaker 8: of he wasn't called by the people holding these hearings
- 14:35Speaker 8: to appear, so he's choosing to be there.
- 14:38Speaker 2: I want to bring I love how they're acting like
- 14:41Speaker 2: they're shocked. But they had cameras outside live feeding them
- 14:45Speaker 2: as he's walking from outside the Capitol building to inside
- 14:48Speaker 2: the Capitol building and they're like acting like there where
- 14:52Speaker 2: We just we're in shock that this is happening right now.
- 14:54Speaker 2: We don't really know what's what's happening right now. We're
- 14:57Speaker 2: really kind of shocked by how this is happening right now, but.
- 15:03Speaker 1: We're going to cover it live, and we knew what
- 15:05Speaker 1: was going to happen right now.
- 15:06Speaker 2: But we'll act like we don't know it's going to
- 15:08Speaker 2: happen right now, and we're just glad that this is
- 15:11Speaker 2: going on. We're just glad that this is happening. We're
- 15:13Speaker 2: just we're just trying to bring you the news, folks,
- 15:16Speaker 2: right like, this is all just about the news. He
- 15:20Speaker 2: didn't have to be their day. In fact, he didn't
- 15:22Speaker 2: need to show up today. Why did he show up, right?
- 15:25Speaker 2: Why did he show up? Well, there's another theory. Representative
- 15:28Speaker 2: Cliburn went on MSNBC after this just total psychotic charade
- 15:34Speaker 2: of events, and he said, well, it was because he
- 15:36Speaker 2: wanted to show up today. So you know how much
- 15:39Speaker 2: he loves his good father, Joe Biden, no doubt.
- 15:41Speaker 1: Let me ask you two final questions.
- 15:43Speaker 8: One, would you have advised Hunter Biden to appear at
- 15:46Speaker 8: today's hearing?
- 15:47Speaker 3: How big of a distraction of liability is he to
- 15:50Speaker 3: the president's reelection?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Bid Well, I think.
- 15:53Speaker 9: It is a distraction, but I don't think it's a lot.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Bili'ty.
- 15:56Speaker 9: I think that all this is going to do is
- 15:58Speaker 9: demonstrate for the good father Joe Biden.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Is we all?
- 16:03Speaker 9: Maybe not all, but I have children and I'm concerned
- 16:07Speaker 9: about them and i want to be a good father
- 16:10Speaker 9: to them, and I'm not going to let it in
- 16:12Speaker 9: the office.
- 16:12Speaker 1: I hold get in the way of being.
- 16:15Speaker 9: A good father. And I think that's what Joe Biden
- 16:17Speaker 9: is doing here. And I do believe that any public
- 16:21Speaker 9: testimony will reveal that. In private, they come out and
- 16:26Speaker 9: say what they want to say. They come out and
- 16:29Speaker 9: paint what picture they want.
- 16:31Speaker 1: To paint, and that's what they do.
- 16:32Speaker 9: They have to hide do it in public.
- 16:34Speaker 5: And that's been Hunter Biden's concern from the start.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Here.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Last quick question, if I love that, right, he just
- 16:39Speaker 2: he's not a distract. Well, he's a distraction, but he's
- 16:41Speaker 2: not a liability. If you don't think that Hunter Biden
- 16:45Speaker 2: is a liability to his father, you're an idiot. You're
- 16:48Speaker 2: a complete and utter incompetent moron. And clearly there's several
- 16:53Speaker 2: of those in the Democratic Party right now. I don't
- 16:55Speaker 2: think that's the problem, you know. I think it's just fine, right.
- 16:59Speaker 2: I don't think there's a new you here. I think
- 17:00Speaker 2: everything's gonna be okay. Who bribed Hunter Biden to be
- 17:03Speaker 2: here today, I can tell you by the way I
- 17:05Speaker 2: can answer that question.
- 17:06Speaker 1: For Representative Mace.
- 17:07Speaker 2: The person that bribed Hunter Biden to be the today
- 17:09Speaker 2: was the person that's putting together the quote documentary on
- 17:12Speaker 2: Hunter Biden, who said, Hey, we need some good video here.
- 17:15Speaker 2: You need to show up for this meeting. And if
- 17:18Speaker 2: you show up for this meeting today arriving at the Capitol,
- 17:22Speaker 2: we'll get it all on tape and then we'll have
- 17:24Speaker 2: this you know, I'm the victim here, press conference moment afterwards,
- 17:29Speaker 2: and that'll make everything great.
- 17:32Speaker 1: And then we'll put it in the cameras. Then it'll
- 17:34Speaker 1: be awesome.
- 17:34Speaker 2: And we'll walk in there even though we don't need
- 17:36Speaker 2: to be there, even though we're not going to answer questions,
- 17:38Speaker 2: by the way, while we're there, and somehow we will
- 17:41Speaker 2: act like this is a really great point. White House
- 17:47Speaker 2: Press Secretary Jean Pierre answering from the White House today, listen.
- 17:50Speaker 5: And I just don't have anything else to share.
- 17:52Speaker 6: The last time who was on the hill, he said,
- 17:54Speaker 6: the President was certainly familiar with what his son was
- 17:58Speaker 6: going to.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Say say that and here and what I'm saying.
- 18:03Speaker 9: Not help him with.
- 18:04Speaker 1: His business deals. What he does help him skirt congressionals
- 18:07Speaker 1: and pens.
- 18:08Speaker 5: That's not even true that that is a jump, that
- 18:10Speaker 5: is that is incredibly disingenuous in that question. What I
- 18:15Speaker 5: will say to you.
- 18:16Speaker 1: Is I am helping you. I'm helping you out.
- 18:19Speaker 5: I don't have anything else to share.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I am helping you out. I don't have anything else
- 18:23Speaker 1: to share.
- 18:25Speaker 2: In closing on this Hunter Biden escapade, and this just total,
- 18:30Speaker 2: you know what, show of a of a of a moment.
- 18:32Speaker 2: This was all for the cameras, And that's the part
- 18:35Speaker 2: you really need to understand.
- 18:36Speaker 1: This was all for the documentary.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I do believe that at backfire because it looked ridiculous.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Now can they change it or alter to make it
- 18:44Speaker 2: look somehow different for the cameras to make money And
- 18:47Speaker 2: ultimately I think this was another moment for him to
- 18:50Speaker 2: make money off of a more entertaining documentary that has
- 18:54Speaker 2: the behind the scenes right of the hours and the
- 18:57Speaker 2: days leading up to this.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Dont that's number one. But I do think it hurt him.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Politically the White House, and I'm not sure even knows
- 19:06Speaker 2: that or cares if it hurts his dad. And part
- 19:08Speaker 2: of the reason why I say that is because even
- 19:10Speaker 2: NBC News MSNBC is saying the same thing, like, Hey,
- 19:13Speaker 2: this is not a great look for the White House,
- 19:15Speaker 2: and this is a big distraction.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'm going to keep covering this for you. I can
- 19:19Speaker 1: promise now.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I got to get to this other big issue, and
- 19:21Speaker 2: that is with the Donald Trump trial, because this has
- 19:24Speaker 2: overshadowed it and I need to make sure that I
- 19:26Speaker 2: cover it because it's also incredibly important. Trump's legal team
- 19:30Speaker 2: we're now being told, try to use a very personal
- 19:36Speaker 2: and serious reason to postpone the closing arguments of this
- 19:41Speaker 2: civil trial. Documents now obtained by CNN show that Trump
- 19:45Speaker 2: and his legal team we're asking the judge to postpone
- 19:51Speaker 2: the closing arguments in the New York civil fraud trial,
- 19:55Speaker 2: saying that it was because of the death of Millennia
- 19:59Speaker 2: Trump's so he could spend time with her. The judge said,
- 20:04Speaker 2: hell no, And that just tells you how much of
- 20:06Speaker 2: a scumbag this judge actually is. That judge who got
- 20:12Speaker 2: this trial started like he was fanboying over himself for
- 20:16Speaker 2: the cameras and even waving at the cameras, smiling for
- 20:19Speaker 2: the cameras like look, I'm on TV. Mom denied the
- 20:23Speaker 2: requests from Trump's legal team that he would be able
- 20:26Speaker 2: to stay with his wife and postpone those closing arguments
- 20:29Speaker 2: so he could spend time with his wife. Not only that,
- 20:35Speaker 2: this scumback judge then decided to block Donald Trump from
- 20:41Speaker 2: making his own closing statements and the New York City
- 20:45Speaker 2: civil fraud trial. That's right, Donald Trump has now been
- 20:50Speaker 2: barred by this bias radical judge of the left from
- 20:54Speaker 2: delivering his own closing statements at his own New.
- 20:57Speaker 1: York civil fraud trial. After all, after the.
- 21:00Speaker 2: Judge said he needed to stick to quote relevant material
- 21:06Speaker 2: facts and so therefore Donald Trump would not be allowed
- 21:09Speaker 2: to speak. This Manhattan Supreme Court justice emailed Trump's attorney Wednesday,
- 21:16Speaker 2: saying he was assuming the seventy seven year old former
- 21:20Speaker 2: president wouldn't agree.
- 21:22Speaker 1: To the lawful limits.
- 21:24Speaker 2: So he's assuming he wouldn't agree to the lawful limits
- 21:27Speaker 2: and therefore he will not be speaking in the court tomorrow.
- 21:31Speaker 1: That's right.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Nice first certify the judge and a January fourth email
- 21:36Speaker 2: that after the lawyers give their arguments in the three
- 21:40Speaker 2: hundred and seventy million dollar case on Thursday, that President
- 21:43Speaker 2: Trump plans to present arguments on an argument at closing
- 21:47Speaker 2: as well court record show a lawyer with a New
- 21:50Speaker 2: York Attorney General's Office, which is prosecuting the case, opposed
- 21:54Speaker 2: allowing Trump the chance to speak, warning that Trump is
- 21:59Speaker 2: quote prone to giving irrelevant speeches and lack of self control,
- 22:06Speaker 2: is evasive in responding to questions, and has repeatedly violated
- 22:10Speaker 2: court orders for which he has been sanctioned. That is
- 22:14Speaker 2: what the New York Attorney General's Office wrote. In response.
- 22:18Speaker 2: The judge said he would allow the unusual move only
- 22:22Speaker 2: if Trump agreed to quote limit his subjects to what
- 22:26Speaker 2: is permissible in a council's closing argument, that is, commentary
- 22:31Speaker 2: on the relevant material facts that are in evidence and
- 22:36Speaker 2: application of the rev law to those facts quote unquote.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I cannot agree nor what I recommend he do so
- 22:45Speaker 2: to the proposed preconditions and prior restraints. Kis responded in
- 22:51Speaker 2: an email. The lawyer and the judge exchanged a few
- 22:55Speaker 2: more emails Tuesday, including about a request from Trump's team
- 22:59Speaker 2: to postpone the closing after the death of his mother
- 23:02Speaker 2: in law, Milenia, Trump's mother on Tuesday. The judge, showing
- 23:08Speaker 2: just how much of a scumbag he is, denied the
- 23:11Speaker 2: request to postpone due to the disruption it would cause,
- 23:16Speaker 2: quote the court staff. So we don't care that your
- 23:18Speaker 2: wife's mother died. We're not gonna be We're not gonna
- 23:22Speaker 2: have a disruption in our court staff. He's still offered
- 23:27Speaker 2: his condolence, is saying, please tell mister Trump, I am sorry,
- 23:31Speaker 2: obviously knowing that the emails would then be made public.
- 23:35Speaker 2: He also reiterated that Trump could not speak during closing
- 23:39Speaker 2: unless he agreed to the judge's terms. Trumpt and Kay's respond,
- 23:44Speaker 2: this is very unfair, your honor. Just before noon, the
- 23:49Speaker 2: judge responded in a stern email to Kai's saying, I
- 23:52Speaker 2: won't debate this yet again. Take it or leave it
- 23:55Speaker 2: now or never? Sounds like an unbiased judge to me, right,
- 23:59Speaker 2: who's writing that to an attorney for the former president
- 24:02Speaker 2: of the United States of America, Donald Trump? You have
- 24:05Speaker 2: until noon, seven minutes from now, The judge erradically then wrote,
- 24:11Speaker 2: and then in all caps said quote, I will not
- 24:14Speaker 2: grant any further.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Extensions, he concluded.
- 24:18Speaker 2: The judge posted the extensive email chain in the case Wednesday,
- 24:21Speaker 2: as he noted that Trump wouldn't be speaking in court
- 24:25Speaker 2: during the closing arguments.
- 24:27Speaker 1: This guy is a psycho.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Trump's attorneys are slated to deliver the remarks Thursday morning,
- 24:33Speaker 2: with the AG's side to follow in the afternoon. Each
- 24:37Speaker 2: side statements are expected to last roughly two and a
- 24:40Speaker 2: half hours. But Donald Trump, this judge, showing that there
- 24:45Speaker 2: is not a real, free and fair trial here, is
- 24:47Speaker 2: refusing to allow Donald Trump to defend himself in his
- 24:51Speaker 2: closing arguments. Now, this judge is deciding the non jury
- 24:58Speaker 2: case and has said hopes to render a final decision
- 25:01Speaker 2: by the end of the month.
- 25:03Speaker 1: So I want you to imagine how much you think
- 25:05Speaker 1: this case is.
- 25:06Speaker 2: The books are cooked against Donald Trump, knowing that this
- 25:10Speaker 2: is a non jury case, and the judge is already
- 25:13Speaker 2: acting this way towards Donald Trump. The trial began October,
- 25:18Speaker 2: lasting through mid December and saw Trump attend on multiple occasions. Trump,
- 25:23Speaker 2: his son Eric and Don Junior, and daughter Ivonka all
- 25:27Speaker 2: testified at the trial.
- 25:30Speaker 1: The AG claimed inner case that for a decade.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Trump lied on yearly financial statements, exaggerating his net worth
- 25:38Speaker 2: by the billions to get better loan and insurance terms.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Trump and his team have repeatedly insisted that the forty
- 25:46Speaker 2: fifth president has been the target of a political witch
- 25:49Speaker 2: hunt by the Agy's office, who actually ran on the
- 25:52Speaker 2: idea of going after Donald Trump.
- 25:55Speaker 1: That's right.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Trump's lawyer issued a brief statement about the judges decision Wednesday,
- 26:00Speaker 2: saying is anyone surprised anymore? The AG's office declined to
- 26:05Speaker 2: comment as well on this. Now you think about this, Judge,
- 26:09Speaker 2: I'm going to give you seven minutes.
- 26:10Speaker 1: To take it or leave it.
- 26:11Speaker 2: I'm going to handicap the president in his response to
- 26:14Speaker 2: these egregious accusations against him. I'm then going to rule
- 26:20Speaker 2: on this, and there is no jury involved, and I
- 26:24Speaker 2: am not willing to postpone the closing arguments so that
- 26:28Speaker 2: Donald Trump can spend time with his wife who lost
- 26:31Speaker 2: her mother, who just died, because he did not want
- 26:36Speaker 2: his staff, meaning also him, he did not want his
- 26:40Speaker 2: staff to have to deal with rescheduling. If you think
- 26:45Speaker 2: that this is again, this terrifies me that we are
- 26:49Speaker 2: living in twenty twenty four and I look down at
- 26:52Speaker 2: my calendar and I realized that the president of the
- 26:55Speaker 2: United States of America, former President Trump, can be harassed
- 26:58Speaker 2: this way, his family can be harassed this way, his
- 27:01Speaker 2: children can be harassed, this way, that they can all
- 27:05Speaker 2: be harassed this way. When you look at what they
- 27:08Speaker 2: are going through right now, it is absolutely brutal. It
- 27:13Speaker 2: is absolutely unbelievably brutal. Just how bad things are. You
- 27:19Speaker 2: also look at the other case and what I told
- 27:21Speaker 2: you about in Georgia just yesterday, and if you miss that,
- 27:24Speaker 2: go back and listen to that podcast. You have a
- 27:28Speaker 2: DA there, an activist DA who then gets a special
- 27:31Speaker 2: prosecutor who is literally her lover, who then she is
- 27:35Speaker 2: funneling money to him, then taking five star luxury vacations
- 27:39Speaker 2: with him, cohabitating with him, and he's making like a
- 27:43Speaker 2: million dollars off of going after Donald J.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Trump. Let all that sink in. This is where we
- 27:49Speaker 1: are in this country.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Please make sure you share this story on social media
- 27:54Speaker 2: wherever you are. Hit that forward button put on Twitter
- 27:56Speaker 2: or x or or Facebook or Instagram so other people
- 27:59Speaker 2: will hear this.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Thank you as always for listening. I'll see you back
- 28:02Speaker 1: here tomorrow.
