- 2:04Speaker 2: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 8: Come on now, digny want of only Steve Harky got
- 2:13Speaker 8: what radio show man? What you're doing with it? Trying
- 2:18Speaker 8: to do the very very best I can with it?
- 2:20Speaker 8: I really am. You know, I get tired sometimes on
- 2:23Speaker 8: my journey. I'm not gonna kid you. Trying to make
- 2:29Speaker 8: something about yourself is a task. If you want to
- 2:35Speaker 8: attempt to do something and and and understand going in
- 2:41Speaker 8: that that If the thing you're trying to do is
- 2:43Speaker 8: to improve yourself, to better your position, to better your relationship,
- 2:49Speaker 8: your family, anything, you're trying to be a better you.
- 2:54Speaker 8: You're trying to make more money, you're trying to get
- 2:58Speaker 8: it together, you're trying to change if any of those
- 3:02Speaker 8: things are in your hopes and dreams.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Know this right here. You are about to face some challenges.
- 3:13Speaker 8: But you might as well go ahead anyway and face
- 3:16Speaker 8: those challenges, because if you don't, you have a.
- 3:19Speaker 2: Whole other set of challenges to face.
- 3:22Speaker 8: You know, It's an amazing thing, man, how people sit
- 3:26Speaker 8: around and they watch other people strike out to become successful.
- 3:31Speaker 8: They sit in the stands watching these people play out
- 3:34Speaker 8: these games, and they and they and they criticize, They boo,
- 3:38Speaker 8: they laugh at their efforts and everything, and they talk
- 3:42Speaker 8: about the failse he missed that game when he shot boy,
- 3:45Speaker 8: he sunk man, he did this.
- 3:47Speaker 2: He ain't worth that.
- 3:49Speaker 8: I hear people who sit in stands who criticize people
- 3:55Speaker 8: who are out there on the playing field. Now, when
- 3:59Speaker 8: you're on the playing field, you have a set of
- 4:03Speaker 8: challenges in front of you. You're going to be open
- 4:05Speaker 8: to criticism. You're going to be open to ridicule. You're
- 4:10Speaker 8: going to be talked about when you don't know the
- 4:12Speaker 8: people who are talking about you. Now, here's the upside
- 4:20Speaker 8: to being the player on the field that's facing all
- 4:24Speaker 8: the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke, to being
- 4:28Speaker 8: talked about. He has something going for him. This person, boy, woman, child, girl,
- 4:37Speaker 8: man has an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity
- 4:44Speaker 8: to win. And in the game of life, just because
- 4:50Speaker 8: you lose one of the games or you lose one
- 4:52Speaker 8: of the matches, it don't mean you've lost. You don't
- 4:56Speaker 8: get put out. You keep playing. And when you're playing,
- 5:02Speaker 8: here's the upside. You have the opportunity to win. But
- 5:06Speaker 8: guess what, You're gonna win some of the matches. You're
- 5:09Speaker 8: gonna win some of the points. You're gonna make some
- 5:10Speaker 8: of the dunks. You're gonna hit some of them over
- 5:12Speaker 8: the wall. You're gonna hit some out the park. You're
- 5:15Speaker 8: gonna score some goals. You will if you're playing the game.
- 5:21Speaker 8: Here's the problem with the people who don't face criticism,
- 5:26Speaker 8: who nobody boos or cheers for, who sits in the
- 5:30Speaker 8: stands and knows neither victory nor defeat. Those people, without
- 5:38Speaker 8: realizing it, are facing a set of challenges also. And
- 5:43Speaker 8: the challenges they're facing is how I'm gonna live with myself?
- 5:49Speaker 8: What I'm gonna do? Now, what direction am I going in?
- 5:57Speaker 8: Where am I gonna live? Wonder what job will hire me?
- 6:05Speaker 8: Wonder if I can get paid for criticizing? Ah? Woe
- 6:10Speaker 8: is me, I can't find the purpose in my life.
- 6:17Speaker 8: And man, I'm just waking up in a state of confusion.
- 6:19Speaker 8: I don't know what to do. Now, let me ask
- 6:23Speaker 8: you something, which one of them set the challenges you'd
- 6:25Speaker 8: rather be faced with? Because if I'm on the flow playing,
- 6:29Speaker 8: if I'm on the field playing, if I'm out on
- 6:32Speaker 8: the court playing, then guess what I got a chance
- 6:36Speaker 8: at winning? But guess what I'm doing every day while
- 6:39Speaker 8: I'm playing. I'm strategizing. I'm waking up with the purpose.
- 6:43Speaker 8: I'm waking up trying to come up with another angle.
- 6:48Speaker 8: I'm in pursuit of a goal every single day versus
- 6:54Speaker 8: the people in the stands who know neither victim nor
- 7:01Speaker 8: a defeat. Get in the game, face the challenges. Better yourself,
- 7:09Speaker 8: better your wife, better your children, better your condition, better
- 7:12Speaker 8: your employment status, better your job, better your career.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Take a shot. Come on, man, what you waiting on?
- 7:18Speaker 8: Because the alternative is to watch other people play the game?
- 7:24Speaker 2: You know what I just do?
- 7:25Speaker 8: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes magazine or Money magazine,
- 7:30Speaker 8: or sometimes I still grab a copy of the rob Report.
- 7:34Speaker 8: I just flip through it just to see. I used
- 7:37Speaker 8: to get this book called Unique Homes. Unique Homes is
- 7:41Speaker 8: a magazine that just has a lot of extravagant houses
- 7:45Speaker 8: that's on sale across the country, across the world.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I used to flip through.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Man, let me just see, man, what the people that's
- 7:52Speaker 8: playing the game out there doing. Stop watching other people
- 7:56Speaker 8: become successful when you could very easily be you if
- 8:00Speaker 8: you make the decision. But when you make the decision
- 8:03Speaker 8: to become successful, get ready for a series of challenges.
- 8:07Speaker 8: I think it's more difficult not to accept the challenge.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I think it's for me. This is just for me.
- 8:15Speaker 2: It may not be the case for you.
- 8:16Speaker 8: For me, I think it's far more difficult to wake
- 8:18Speaker 8: up and just see how life gonna go today, because man,
- 8:21Speaker 8: it could just deal you any kind of hand today.
- 8:25Speaker 8: You understand, I don't like, you know, spades. Let's talk
- 8:31Speaker 8: a card game for a town, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 8: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:36Speaker 8: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:39Speaker 8: little strategies you're gonna do. But you can have all
- 8:42Speaker 8: this age, King, queen, diamond all you want. But man,
- 8:44Speaker 8: you ain't got no spage. They cutting them. You're in
- 8:46Speaker 8: trouble be it with different game. You can create what's
- 8:52Speaker 8: in your hand. You got dealt a hand too, but
- 8:55Speaker 8: you can create a hand. You can call a trump.
- 8:58Speaker 8: You can make dime your spades, you can make hard
- 9:02Speaker 8: to clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. You can
- 9:05Speaker 8: do something with it. It's a different game, man. You
- 9:07Speaker 8: can strategize. I would rather have a say so in
- 9:10Speaker 8: my life than to wake up every day and just
- 9:12Speaker 8: see how it's going. I think it's more difficult to
- 9:16Speaker 8: not accept the challenge to be something than it is
- 9:19Speaker 8: to accept the challenge to be something. I think it's
- 9:21Speaker 8: more difficult to sit around and not be nothing. I
- 9:24Speaker 8: think it's harder to watch everybody in life going somewhere
- 9:27Speaker 8: but mine. I think it would be very difficult for
- 9:30Speaker 8: me to sit here and hear them talking about other
- 9:33Speaker 8: people that never mentioned my name. It would be difficult
- 9:35Speaker 8: for me to see everybody rise and getting promotions accept me.
- 9:40Speaker 8: That would be difficult for me. It may not be
- 9:42Speaker 8: for you, but for me it would be quite challenging.
- 9:45Speaker 8: I would rather accept the challenge of making something out
- 9:48Speaker 8: of my life than to sit there and criticize those
- 9:51Speaker 8: and then watch and see how my life just may go.
- 9:55Speaker 2: Okay, just a thought.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Today you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen and all the people around the world.
- 10:10Speaker 8: What you are about to engage in is the baddest
- 10:15Speaker 8: morning show on Earth. Ringling Brothers was the greatest show
- 10:23Speaker 8: on Earth. Steve harv Morning Show is the baddest, baddest
- 10:29Speaker 8: radio show on Earth. Now, if you feel that way
- 10:33Speaker 8: about someone else, you are welcome to feel that way.
- 10:37Speaker 8: I just told you how I feel welcome to the right.
- 10:41Speaker 8: We honor one thing on this show. Well, we honor
- 10:43Speaker 8: more than one thing. We honor women, we know the
- 10:47Speaker 8: right to dream. We honor and respect people of all
- 10:50Speaker 8: cultures and values and religions.
- 10:53Speaker 2: But one thing about it. We all love God.
- 10:57Speaker 8: We all give thanks and honor to God Almighty, because
- 11:00Speaker 8: without God we would be nothing, period.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Sheldon Strawberry calling for our Missisippi Monica Junior and the
- 11:09Speaker 8: legend that is nephew Tommy Junior.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Got that look on your face today? What's going on? Okay? Uncle,
- 11:15Speaker 2: let me let me talk to you about it.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Uh.
- 11:18Speaker 1: What are we supposed to do?
- 11:19Speaker 7: Uncle?
- 11:19Speaker 4: When we feel God ain't answering the prayer. We've been
- 11:23Speaker 4: praying for something, praying for something, praying for something and
- 11:26Speaker 4: praying for.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Something, and it's silence. It's silent. Huh, nothing's happening.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, that's silence.
- 11:38Speaker 8: You're just looking forward, living in ways you have no idea.
- 11:43Speaker 8: God is always working on your behalf. See what you
- 11:47Speaker 8: have in trouble with is understanding the timing of your request.
- 11:54Speaker 8: See you pray for something you wanted? Now this ain't Uber?
- 12:01Speaker 8: And what do Uber bring you in there?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Oh?
- 12:03Speaker 2: Uber ever brought you anything that lasts forever?
- 12:07Speaker 8: Has Door Dash ever brought you anything that lasts forever?
- 12:13Speaker 8: Amazon ever delivered you anything that lasts forever? Has any
- 12:18Speaker 8: of those delivery services ever delivered you anything that changed
- 12:23Speaker 8: your life? Has any of those delivery services ever brought
- 12:28Speaker 8: you anything that elevated you to the next level?
- 12:32Speaker 2: Now?
- 12:34Speaker 8: Because they don't have the ability, It takes time for
- 12:39Speaker 8: God to do what he doing. Because God is doing
- 12:44Speaker 8: exceedingly and abundantly over all. You could think or ask, see,
- 12:50Speaker 8: so what you're trying to do, junior, And what a
- 12:53Speaker 8: lot of people do, and I've done myself, is ask
- 12:56Speaker 8: God for something and then get frustrated in the timing
- 13:00Speaker 8: of the delivery of the package when what God is
- 13:05Speaker 8: doing is fixing it so when he give it to
- 13:07Speaker 8: you can't nobody take it. So now he got he
- 13:10Speaker 8: arranged and some other stuff too. So guess what. Slowly
- 13:15Speaker 8: but shooting I started. Some people started peeling off, losing,
- 13:19Speaker 8: found out they were stealing, stole some five people.
- 13:22Speaker 2: Noh lah, blah blah. Then he gave it to me.
- 13:25Speaker 8: Another thing he gave me one time just recently, is
- 13:28Speaker 8: because he didn't want nobody to get the credit. But
- 13:31Speaker 8: him quit thinking you need all these people when it's
- 13:34Speaker 8: just me.
- 13:34Speaker 9: That's what it anyway, Yeah, grace' that's right all right.
- 13:39Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we
- 13:41Speaker 9: will run that prank back with the nephew right after this.
- 13:45Speaker 9: You're listening Hardy Morning Show. If someone asked you to
- 13:53Speaker 9: pay with a gift card, it's a scam.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Always.
- 13:57Speaker 9: Cameras love gift cards because they're just like cash. They
- 14:01Speaker 9: use fake stories about prizes, overdue bills, or emergencies to
- 14:06Speaker 9: get you to act before you think. But no real business,
- 14:10Speaker 9: government agency, or friend will ever ask for gift cards.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Learn how to spot and stop these scams at AAARP
- 14:17Speaker 9: dot org slash gift cards pay for by aa ARP.
- 14:23Speaker 9: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 14:25Speaker 9: prank back. Nephew, what you got for us?
- 14:28Speaker 2: Well, we're going back down to the church early.
- 14:30Speaker 6: You know.
- 14:30Speaker 2: That's part of what I do.
- 14:31Speaker 10: I get down there to the church and prank those
- 14:33Speaker 10: that think they are unprinkable. This right here is Jezebel's spirit.
- 14:38Speaker 10: Jezebel spirit still going on to this day.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Cat Dog. If you would hello.
- 14:46Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to reach a sister Lesha.
- 14:51Speaker 9: Thank you.
- 14:52Speaker 6: All right, all right, all right, you may not know
- 14:54Speaker 6: my boy, but I'm sure you probably know me if
- 14:55Speaker 6: you saw me. But I'm brother Grig at the church.
- 14:59Speaker 11: Okay, are you doing.
- 15:01Speaker 6: I'm good, I'm good. I'm sorry to disturb your evening.
- 15:04Speaker 6: I wanted to reach out to you the uh, you know,
- 15:08Speaker 6: the workers at the church. We had a meeting, UH
- 15:12Speaker 6: A lot of the deacons and the sisters at the church,
- 15:18Speaker 6: the have come to UH had a meeting and I
- 15:21Speaker 6: wanted to give you a call. Not Melanie, Melanie, that's
- 15:27Speaker 6: that's that's your sister, right, yeah, that's my sister.
- 15:29Speaker 10: That's my baby.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Sister, Okay, all right, well now we got a bit
- 15:35Speaker 6: of a problem, but uh uh uh, they felt that
- 15:39Speaker 6: it would be best for me to call you and
- 15:42Speaker 6: discuss it with you and and let you know what
- 15:45Speaker 6: the you know what they have agreed upon. I'm just
- 15:49Speaker 6: basically the messenger and I'm just calling you to give
- 15:52Speaker 6: you the word of what's going on. Okay, right, yeah,
- 15:57Speaker 6: brother Greed Grig agree your wife is in the choir?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Right?
- 16:02Speaker 6: Uh yeah, yeah, okay, okay.
- 16:06Speaker 11: I know, I think I know, yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Okay, okay, all right. Well, like I said, Sister Alicia,
- 16:13Speaker 6: what the officials of the church are saying is that
- 16:17Speaker 6: they they're saying that they have reason to believe that
- 16:21Speaker 6: your sister has been having an affair with with pastors
- 16:27Speaker 6: and your sister Melanie, they saying she's having and had
- 16:35Speaker 6: an affair with having an affair with pastor not. Like
- 16:40Speaker 6: I said, I'm just the.
- 16:41Speaker 9: Messenger, okay, So why are y'all calling me about something
- 16:45Speaker 9: Melanie doing well with me?
- 16:49Speaker 6: Like like I said, the officials had a meeting and
- 16:52Speaker 6: what they're saying is this is nothing but a Jezebel's
- 16:57Speaker 6: spirit and what they don't want to do not wait, wait, wait,
- 17:00Speaker 6: a minute.
- 17:01Speaker 11: Now, you be a rude Now come on, and okay,
- 17:06Speaker 11: I'm gonna here you at now you just hear me out.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Now they're saying that this is a Jezebel spirit and
- 17:12Speaker 6: they would rather all of the some family not be
- 17:19Speaker 6: welcome at the church anymore.
- 17:21Speaker 9: Okay, first of all, where are you delivering a message
- 17:24Speaker 9: to me about my sister?
- 17:26Speaker 11: If you have a problem with my sister. Seems like
- 17:30Speaker 11: you will be calling my sister. Now we see step
- 17:32Speaker 11: for people. So why are you calling me about my
- 17:36Speaker 11: sister about a rumor? And now you say y'all don't
- 17:40Speaker 11: want me in the church.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Is that what you're saying for the entire family? So
- 17:49Speaker 6: if you got some brothers, sisters, auntie, they won't because
- 17:53Speaker 6: they evidently all of the ladies in the Thompson family
- 17:56Speaker 6: much hell some type of Jezebel spirit.
- 18:00Speaker 11: And they don't want to Wait wait, wait, wait a minute.
- 18:02Speaker 9: Now, you just like I said, now, be mindful who
- 18:06Speaker 9: you're speaking to calling somebody a jezebel, because.
- 18:12Speaker 11: What you can't do is call somebody and accuse somebody
- 18:15Speaker 11: and then call them.
- 18:15Speaker 2: A derogatory word.
- 18:17Speaker 11: Come about somebody a jezebel and a Jezebel.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Now you're being ruth sir.
- 18:23Speaker 6: It's a Jezabel spirit, is what they were saying.
- 18:26Speaker 11: Okay, they's got to be the most asonine foolish.
- 18:30Speaker 6: And that's I have ever heard in my life?
- 18:31Speaker 11: Who done that? Who are you to call me? Don't
- 18:35Speaker 11: ask me no like that? You calling me like some
- 18:38Speaker 11: bush like who.
- 18:40Speaker 8: The hell cast?
- 18:41Speaker 11: They got a Jezabel stair?
- 18:42Speaker 6: That's what I call somebody kids. I'm like, you got
- 18:43Speaker 6: a bad kid?
- 18:45Speaker 11: Does your mama ra Jezebel?
- 18:46Speaker 6: Still, don't wait, wait a minute, I'm.
- 18:48Speaker 9: Just does your mama does your red lip?
- 18:51Speaker 11: Where I'm white?
- 18:52Speaker 6: Out of Jezebel's spirit, that's what's gonna happen.
- 18:58Speaker 11: You're gonna mess around and get your up and get
- 19:00Speaker 11: drugged through the ghoul.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Cause around with the time.
- 19:03Speaker 6: Well as of right now, the family can't come to
- 19:06Speaker 6: the church.
- 19:07Speaker 11: You think we want to be around a church that
- 19:09Speaker 11: got people conference asking me, I shall.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Tell do I have a Jezebel?
- 19:16Speaker 6: But you never answered the question do you have one?
- 19:20Speaker 11: I might have a ring hab fear? Now you know
- 19:23Speaker 11: she was a good in the Bible. Now I've been
- 19:25Speaker 11: never the church for the last eight year.
- 19:27Speaker 6: I don't say.
- 19:27Speaker 11: Plenty tide to the church and to attack.
- 19:31Speaker 6: The problem with me.
- 19:32Speaker 11: Tell fact, have a problem with me, Alicia.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, uh huh.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Let me say this and then I'm.
- 19:39Speaker 11: Gonna be before you said another work.
- 19:43Speaker 6: You need to apologize and think to look like you.
- 19:45Speaker 11: Got some wish.
- 19:46Speaker 6: Okay, can I say this?
- 19:48Speaker 11: Go ahead?
- 19:49Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 19:51Speaker 1: I apologize.
- 19:52Speaker 6: Oh okay, I apologize because this is if you Timmy
- 19:56Speaker 6: from the Steve Harvey Morning Show and you just got
- 19:59Speaker 6: prank your sister Melanie, I'm gonna kick y'all.
- 20:07Speaker 10: Know if I would.
- 20:11Speaker 1: That was your guys, Melanie, the dad.
- 20:17Speaker 6: I don't know who the lady is in the choir
- 20:19Speaker 6: with the red listick Day. I have no early idea,
- 20:26Speaker 6: all right, No josephel Spirits, none of that. We all right?
- 20:29Speaker 10: Maybe maybe your rain half, like I said, maybe your
- 20:33Speaker 10: half because you're gonna even more than one Bible And
- 20:35Speaker 10: she did good work for the kingdom, because you.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Know I was working for the kingdom now.
- 20:42Speaker 11: A long time.
- 20:43Speaker 12: Now.
- 20:44Speaker 6: Wait walk, oh god, I love a church people. I
- 20:47Speaker 6: love church people. Hey, let me ask you something. What
- 20:50Speaker 6: is the baddest radio show with.
- 20:51Speaker 11: The land Walking Morning Show?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Come on, I'll be back in an hour. Y'all know
- 20:59Speaker 2: how to do it. I don't know how. Time you
- 21:01Speaker 2: get DOWNE be back, and I would be a little
- 21:03Speaker 2: more stupid.
- 21:03Speaker 10: In the next hour. I get a little most stupid

- 23:37Speaker 8: her grandmother told her, don't let a man have to
- 23:41Speaker 8: tell you twice he don't.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Won't you.
- 23:46Speaker 8: Okay, you're heard, so now going about your business? He

- 24:22Speaker 9: I don't care if she comes or not, because I
- 24:25Speaker 9: have a new side chick.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I know.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Isn't this horrible? I have a new side chick that
- 24:29Speaker 1: is great in bed?
- 24:30Speaker 9: Should I tell our realtor in New York to slow
- 24:34Speaker 9: down on selling the house?
- 24:36Speaker 2: What?
- 24:37Speaker 1: Wow? So you need advice?
- 24:40Speaker 8: I know, Bruin, you ain't trying to You ain't trying
- 24:44Speaker 8: to find a way to tell your wife. You ain't
- 24:47Speaker 8: You ain't trying. All you trying to do is keep
- 24:51Speaker 8: the party going. I can't help you, bro, I can't
- 24:56Speaker 8: help you. You don't even care if she comes.
- 24:58Speaker 1: He doesn't care if she comes or not.
- 25:01Speaker 8: Well, you know it took this relocation to bring out
- 25:05Speaker 8: the real facts. Yeah, yeah, but I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 25:11Speaker 8: tell you so. I'm gonna just go out on the
- 25:12Speaker 8: limb and say this right here. He had a side
- 25:15Speaker 8: chick in New York too.
- 25:18Speaker 1: Ah, Well, you dropping knowledge today.
- 25:21Speaker 8: I'm just telling you that right there. You ain't got
- 25:23Speaker 8: to go out of town to get no side chick.
- 25:25Speaker 8: He had a side chick in New York.
- 25:28Speaker 1: We don't quote him on the show. Take it back,
- 25:36Speaker 1: Take it.
- 25:36Speaker 9: Back, Take it back back? All right, all right? Moving
- 25:45Speaker 9: on to Vet in Philly, Vet Rights. My husband of
- 25:49Speaker 9: thirty years called me the B word in front of
- 25:51Speaker 9: my parents. He's never done that before, so we were
- 25:55Speaker 9: all shocked. Well, my mother, my mother, wasn't she agreed
- 25:59Speaker 9: with my husband. I didn't see. I didn't know she
- 26:02Speaker 9: felt that way. Should I have a talk with my mama?
- 26:06Speaker 2: Wait? Wait, he did that right in front of birth
- 26:09Speaker 2: both her parents.
- 26:10Speaker 9: She said her, Yes, her husband called her the B word.
- 26:14Speaker 9: Called her a b in front of her parents.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Everybody something to you my fault?
- 26:19Speaker 3: What?
- 26:20Speaker 8: Yeah, my father, Slick Harvey, m hm, he did, he'd
- 26:24Speaker 8: have turned that whole thing out his daughter, Doug, you're
- 26:29Speaker 8: gonna call one of my sisters to B word in
- 26:32Speaker 8: front of my father? But that's unthinkable in my family.
- 26:38Speaker 2: That's it's every thought.
- 26:42Speaker 8: No, obviously is not.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Is not?
- 26:46Speaker 1: Her mother agreed with him.
- 26:48Speaker 8: Now, in my family, this this three would have had
- 26:51Speaker 8: serious problem. If me and my brothers had been over
- 26:55Speaker 8: there all my father and heard him call my sister B,
- 26:59Speaker 8: it would have been on a cracking man.
- 27:01Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah, we thought it was in every boy once family.
- 27:04Speaker 8: I'll say that, but I can't even imagine that man
- 27:10Speaker 8: not in my family.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So she wants to know since her mom, I can't.
- 27:14Speaker 8: Tell her none, Shirley, I can't help her. I don't
- 27:18Speaker 8: my family don't do that. No, that should have been
- 27:24Speaker 8: some form of violent reaction. That's all I can say.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Understood.
- 27:30Speaker 9: Yeah, but that's what I'm trying to tell you. Her
- 27:33Speaker 9: mom got it, she agreed with the husband. She wants
- 27:36Speaker 9: to know should she.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Have a talk with the mother. That's her question.
- 27:40Speaker 8: Okay, you're going in there and talk with your mama.
- 27:42Speaker 8: But I need to go over there and talk to
- 27:44Speaker 8: my daddy too, though. Come trying to figure out how
- 27:46Speaker 8: to daddy let another man come in his house and
- 27:50Speaker 8: call his daughter a beat. That's not making I can't.
- 27:55Speaker 8: I'm dropping, I can't even I can't. You can't do that.
- 28:01Speaker 8: I wish one of my son in law's would call
- 28:05Speaker 8: my daughter a be in my house. I wish either
- 28:10Speaker 8: one of them would. They're younger than me, they more
- 28:15Speaker 8: physically fit than me. But I'm gonna tell you something,
- 28:18Speaker 8: when they leave that house that day right there, they
- 28:22Speaker 8: will not be in the same condition it was when
- 28:25Speaker 8: they came in.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But they were.
- 28:29Speaker 9: Thirty years Stephen Gurney, they've been married for thirty years.
- 28:34Speaker 1: This is craziness.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Well years.
- 28:40Speaker 3: He has done something before, exactly. It's the mama that's
- 28:44Speaker 3: agreeing with it.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Mother, it ain't father. He ain't say nothing.
- 28:50Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but her issue is with all right, last one.
- 29:01Speaker 8: I'm mad at my I'm mad at my son in
- 29:03Speaker 8: laws right now. Dog, I won't be sitting over there
- 29:09Speaker 8: this year just looking at him.
- 29:10Speaker 2: Say it, and Philly, just save your say it.
- 29:15Speaker 9: She needed your help on that one. Steve, all right,
- 29:17Speaker 9: last one. This is the last one. Mac and Bethesda writes,
- 29:22Speaker 9: I'm bald by choice, but my wife likes me better
- 29:25Speaker 9: with hair. She doesn't care if it's thinning or not.
- 29:28Speaker 9: I'm self conscious, but she said it's sexy. Do I
- 29:30Speaker 9: grow it back for her or keep shaving it?
- 29:33Speaker 2: Juliu, what that's what I said? Did you hear?
- 29:40Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 29:41Speaker 2: I heard the question. How you feel about it?
- 29:45Speaker 1: My hair is? Is none wrong?
- 29:47Speaker 2: My hair? Let's let you.
- 29:48Speaker 10: We're gonna let you comb through this answer.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Go ahead, there's nothing to comb through. He said it's thinning.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Mm hmmm.
- 29:58Speaker 8: And he's bad by you, toys. And she was here
- 30:02Speaker 8: here with hair and she don't care if it's thinny
- 30:06Speaker 8: right now, you're the only one in this situation right
- 30:09Speaker 8: now because me and Tommy is bald.
- 30:12Speaker 2: I'm not bald. I have hair. I have good hair.
- 30:15Speaker 1: We're not going to get an answer for that one, obviously.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Thank you guys, coming home. Thank you sexy.
- 30:21Speaker 4: I can think I got had to you said you mother,
- 30:25Speaker 4: Thank you something.
- 30:28Speaker 12: Tomorrow right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 9: The fourth hour of NBC's Today's Show will no longer
- 30:41Speaker 9: be called Jenna and Friends. Yesterday, NBC named noted journalist
- 30:46Speaker 9: Chanelle Jones as the permanent co host alongside Jenna bush Hager.
- 30:51Speaker 9: Chanelle will move from the third hour of Today to
- 30:53Speaker 9: the fourth hour on January twelfth, and the broadcast new
- 30:57Speaker 9: name is Today with Jenna and Chanel. Chanelle Jones is
- 31:02Speaker 9: a noted black journalist and a correspondent that has been
- 31:05Speaker 9: with The Tonay Show Today Show since twenty fourteen. So
- 31:09Speaker 9: we have to say congratulations to Yeah, congraduations. I appreciate.
- 31:14Speaker 3: I love Chanelle. She's had a very tough year. She
- 31:17Speaker 3: lost her husband this year.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, yeah, and she's very dirvastating a journalist.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Yeah she is.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Chanel, go sister.
- 31:28Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, We're going to move on to According
- 31:31Speaker 9: to CBS News, some of the prisoners at Lee Correctional
- 31:34Speaker 9: Institution in South Carolina had hoped to get a surf
- 31:38Speaker 9: and turf meal, complete with marijuana and cigarettes, into the prison,
- 31:42Speaker 9: but the package was intercepted by officers. Prison officials reported
- 31:47Speaker 9: that a drone was used to fly a bag filled
- 31:50Speaker 9: with steak crab legs, marijuana, cigarettes, and old Bay seasoning
- 31:55Speaker 9: over the prison fence. Officials sees the contraband, but no
- 31:59Speaker 9: in have been charged yet.
- 32:01Speaker 2: So here's a.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Question, guys.
- 32:03Speaker 9: Does prison rehabilitate inmates or give inmates more time to
- 32:07Speaker 9: think of schemes and scams like this?
- 32:13Speaker 8: It does both, Yeah, it does both. Some people come
- 32:19Speaker 8: out of prison better men.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Better.
- 32:23Speaker 8: Prison is filled with a lot of good people who
- 32:28Speaker 8: made a bad mistake, a lot of innocence, and it's
- 32:34Speaker 8: a lot of innocent people sitting there. And according to
- 32:40Speaker 8: the Jim Crow Laws of Louisiana, it is still some
- 32:44Speaker 8: people in that prison who will unjustly incarcerated because they
- 32:52Speaker 8: were not found guilty by all twelve jurors. Okay, so
- 32:58Speaker 8: they just got rid of that law and they freed
- 33:02Speaker 8: the people who were incarcerated like that, but they wouldn't
- 33:06Speaker 8: do it retroactive. So and that's Jim Crow. Racism is
- 33:11Speaker 8: very much a lie. But yeah, a prison helps some
- 33:14Speaker 8: people and some people getting made worse in there.
- 33:19Speaker 2: I think that was gangster.
- 33:22Speaker 9: We figurette the drone.
- 33:29Speaker 1: Drone.
- 33:32Speaker 8: Well see I think what the see see see hear
- 33:35Speaker 8: what they gotta do next time?
- 33:37Speaker 2: Now, I ain't trying to, you know, aid, but I am.
- 33:43Speaker 8: You gotta create a distraction on the other side, of
- 33:47Speaker 8: the yard, so you can lay in the drone on
- 33:51Speaker 8: the other side, and you can't fly in the middle
- 33:54Speaker 8: of it. You just got to come in the corner
- 33:56Speaker 8: of the prison, then let the package down with the
- 34:00Speaker 8: drone and while the disturbances happening on the other side
- 34:03Speaker 8: of the yall, they can't watch everybody, but we.
- 34:06Speaker 10: Need a fight on the other side of y'all. Somebody
- 34:08Speaker 10: got to take a whipping on the other side of
- 34:09Speaker 10: the yo.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:10Speaker 8: The only problem is the people that's in the fight.
- 34:12Speaker 8: They ain't gonna be able to get none.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Of food, No crab legs for you.
- 34:19Speaker 2: They not gonna save you none that.
- 34:23Speaker 1: You can guarantee you. Terri Ball moving on.
- 34:29Speaker 9: Finally, just in time for the holidays, one lucky person
- 34:33Speaker 9: can win the Powerball jackpot, which is now close to
- 34:37Speaker 9: one billion dollars close to a billion dollars. There was
- 34:41Speaker 9: not a winner in Monday Nights drawing, so the jackpot
- 34:43Speaker 9: rose to thirty million dollars with a cash out fament
- 34:48Speaker 9: up around four hundred and twenty nine million. The next drawing, guys,
- 34:52Speaker 9: is tonight, so you still have time to get a ticket. Tommy,
- 34:56Speaker 9: I gotta you got your tickets already.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I ain't got no, but I can sure. I'm going
- 35:01Speaker 2: to get some tickets. He'll be about.
- 35:05Speaker 9: I remember last time. Yeah, Carlo, you.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Know, get my tickets. I get my tickets for one million.
- 35:13Speaker 3: I don't know why this is so different, like I'm
- 35:19Speaker 3: too good for.
- 35:24Speaker 2: I'm don't go down now we have to.
- 35:28Speaker 1: You're singing, Steve, what is that's all he needs to
- 35:32Speaker 1: get by that?
- 35:33Speaker 2: I'm gone? Just know that I'm gone, Steve.
- 35:39Speaker 9: If you've got a billion dollars, is that what you're
- 35:42Speaker 9: saying without notification?
- 35:46Speaker 2: Tell us you would even look what's Steve at this morning?
- 35:50Speaker 9: We come to work and nothing?
- 35:57Speaker 1: Yeah, we come to work.
- 35:59Speaker 2: If I get four one hundred and twenty nine million.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Come come to work the cash to your job right here?
- 36:07Speaker 3: When you say work where here on the Steve Harvey
- 36:11Speaker 3: Morning Show.
- 36:11Speaker 1: And your name is Steve Harvey, so come to work here?
- 36:15Speaker 2: So yeah, stop saying work, what is it? Because that's
- 36:21Speaker 2: what we're doing.
- 36:22Speaker 1: We're working. Yeah, this is our job, this is our career.
- 36:25Speaker 2: What would you like to say?
- 36:28Speaker 1: What are you saying, Steve?
- 36:30Speaker 8: And why I get four hundred and twenty nine million
- 36:33Speaker 8: and you take the word work out of my vocabulary.
- 36:37Speaker 4: But Okay, if you don't show up on it, if
- 36:40Speaker 4: we call you, what you're gonna do, then I'm fishing?
- 36:43Speaker 2: And why are you calling me while I'm fishing?
- 36:45Speaker 9: But we're here at work waiting for you at least
- 36:48Speaker 9: for show.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Why you should should.
- 36:52Speaker 2: Say because you keep saying we at work?
- 36:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that I don't have I don't have them. I'm
- 37:03Speaker 1: not mad at you. I'm not mad at you.
- 37:05Speaker 2: Oh hot it.
- 37:09Speaker 1: That's the cash shop.
- 37:10Speaker 2: All right?
- 37:11Speaker 1: Thanks guys.
- 37:11Speaker 9: Coming up at twenty minutes after Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett
- 37:15Speaker 9: is running for the US.

- 37:56Speaker 9: and Amazon. Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett has officially filed to
- 38:02Speaker 9: run for the US Senate from Texas, just hours before
- 38:05Speaker 9: the filing deadline on Monday afternoon. Crockett, a Democrat, aims
- 38:10Speaker 9: to unseat longtime Republican incumbent John Cornyan. Her campaign comes
- 38:16Speaker 9: just as Democrats aim to flip at least four Senate
- 38:19Speaker 9: seats to regain control of the chamber in the twenty
- 38:23Speaker 9: twenty six elections next year. As she launched her campaign
- 38:27Speaker 9: Monday night in front of supporters, Crockett said, quote, there
- 38:30Speaker 9: are a lot of people that said, you gotta stay
- 38:32Speaker 9: in the House. We need your voice, we need you there,
- 38:36Speaker 9: and I understand that, but we need what we need
- 38:40Speaker 9: is a bigger voice. So Jasmine crockett slogan is Texas Tough,
- 38:45Speaker 9: and she feels that she is best positioned to build
- 38:47Speaker 9: a strong, multi racial, multi generational coalition and pledges to
- 38:52Speaker 9: focus on addressing the cost of living and holding President
- 38:57Speaker 9: Trump accountable.
- 38:58Speaker 1: So there you go, congratulate or her next big move. Yes,
- 39:03Speaker 1: I think.
- 39:03Speaker 2: She's such a smart person.
- 39:06Speaker 8: Outstand I think till she understands why she would want
- 39:09Speaker 8: out of the House to the Senate, I don't, but
- 39:12Speaker 8: I'm pretty sure she does. I'm gonna get behind her
- 39:15Speaker 8: and fully support her. I think she's one of the brilliant,
- 39:18Speaker 8: courageous people in Polybaris. I'm gonna call Steven A Smith
- 39:23Speaker 8: and ask him to shut your mouth or don't say
- 39:28Speaker 8: nothing that you will regret, because I'm gonna tell you something. Man,
- 39:33Speaker 8: When you put your foot in your mouth and then
- 39:36Speaker 8: you got to try to pull it out yourself, it
- 39:39Speaker 8: don't look good because when you get your foot out
- 39:41Speaker 8: your mouth, you have to put it somewhere.
- 39:44Speaker 2: We're not gonna let you put it back on the floor.
- 39:47Speaker 8: So when you take your foot out your mouth, we
- 39:50Speaker 8: only have one other area you can put that foot,
- 39:52Speaker 8: which is where we wanted to put ours when you
- 39:54Speaker 8: said it in the first place.
- 39:56Speaker 2: So if you could just shut your mouth this one,
- 40:01Speaker 2: just let it go.
- 40:02Speaker 8: You don't have to comment on everything. I don't know
- 40:04Speaker 8: what happened, and I watched his interview and we're friends.
- 40:08Speaker 8: That's what's crazy, man. But I want y'all to know
- 40:11Speaker 8: that I do say from time to time, bruh, pull up.
- 40:16Speaker 2: I do what is usually after the fact.
- 40:21Speaker 8: Yeah late, Because I didn't know that I'm gonna have

- 41:03Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 41:05Speaker 9: A lady drove three hours to confront a guy that
- 41:08Speaker 9: left a racist comment under her TikTok post.
- 41:11Speaker 1: We'll get into that right after this.
- 41:13Speaker 9: Oh yeah, Hi, this is Felicia was shot and you're
- 41:17Speaker 9: listening to the Stee Harvey Morning Show. You're listening Steve
- 41:21Speaker 9: Harvey Morning Show. A black woman in Tennessee drove three
- 41:29Speaker 9: hours to confront a white man that left a racist
- 41:32Speaker 9: comment on her TikTok post. The guy only identified as
- 41:36Speaker 9: Mike reportedly reacted over Tennessee's recent election with racial slurs
- 41:41Speaker 9: and a statement on having black fatigue. The comment has
- 41:45Speaker 9: since been deleted. The black woman showed up at the
- 41:48Speaker 9: man's job and casually greeted him and said.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Quote, you see how easy I found you. It's not cool, right.
- 41:55Speaker 9: She then hands Mike an apology that she pre wrote
- 42:00Speaker 9: and told him to read it aloud or face the consequences.
- 42:05Speaker 9: He read, I, Mike, do apologize for my actions. I
- 42:09Speaker 9: see the consequences of my actions and will not do
- 42:13Speaker 9: this to anyone else ever again. The woman then cheerfully
- 42:17Speaker 9: told Mike, it was so nice meeting you. All of
- 42:21Speaker 9: that was captured on TikTok video and users applauded how
- 42:24Speaker 9: cool and calm she was, all while calling out racism.
- 42:28Speaker 1: So she called him on it. And here's the question.
- 42:32Speaker 9: Have you guys ever wanted to confront someone you know,
- 42:35Speaker 9: the just left a I know you have Steve that
- 42:37Speaker 9: left a nasty comment, yeah on your social media.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Social media? Yea, right?
- 42:47Speaker 8: Or just so this was before social media. I've confronted
- 42:50Speaker 8: people who said racial stuff to me.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I didn't. I have a note for him and nothing.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I ain't ask him to.
- 42:55Speaker 8: Read nothing three hours well equivalent to it, But I
- 43:01Speaker 8: just you know, I didn't.
- 43:03Speaker 2: I just went over there for them to take this
- 43:06Speaker 2: not they didn't have to read nothing.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Well, she was a woman, she did it her own way,
- 43:13Speaker 1: her way.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:14Speaker 8: A dude pushed me down the steps in college and
- 43:17Speaker 8: called me the end word. Oh, I tore three ligaments
- 43:22Speaker 8: in my ankle. I was on crutches for two months
- 43:28Speaker 8: from the fall. I'm on the crutches. I've been on
- 43:31Speaker 8: these crutches about probably six weeks.
- 43:34Speaker 12: Uh huh.
- 43:35Speaker 8: And he got on the elevator with some buddies. They
- 43:38Speaker 8: were football players, and I saw them on the elevator
- 43:43Speaker 8: and it was four of them big boys. They was
- 43:46Speaker 8: lining for Kent State football team. And I was on crutches.
- 43:50Speaker 8: And when that doe shut and I realized who he was,
- 43:53Speaker 8: Uh huh. Yeah, it didn't matter to me.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I ain't. It didn't last long, uh huh, because they
- 44:02Speaker 2: started whooping.
- 44:03Speaker 8: I hit him in the throat with the crutch. He
- 44:05Speaker 8: was down, he was so it was just three, but
- 44:08Speaker 8: they was. They were whooping me pretty good until we
- 44:10Speaker 8: got to that third floor and that door open.
- 44:12Speaker 2: That's where all the black stayed. And that door opened
- 44:15Speaker 2: up and was closing.
- 44:16Speaker 8: The brus didn't see me, so I threw my crutch
- 44:18Speaker 8: in the door and it made the door come back open.
- 44:21Speaker 8: And the two twins saw me. Oldest and name was Banks,
- 44:23Speaker 8: and they saw.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Me the Montgomery River b girl girl. He just threw
- 44:33Speaker 1: his crutches girl.
- 44:34Speaker 2: After that crutch because that door was fittings shut.
- 44:37Speaker 1: I went work home.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Man, they were whooping me pretty good.
- 44:40Speaker 8: I got that crutching the door and that dough bounce back,
- 44:43Speaker 8: and the brothers was in the lobby playing cards.
- 44:45Speaker 1: I said, Lord, what's up?
- 44:47Speaker 2: Hell now.
- 44:50Speaker 8: They came on that elevader and was busy. Yeah, yeah,
- 44:57Speaker 8: so I didn't.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 44:59Speaker 8: I didn't have I was ben't able to go and
- 45:01Speaker 8: deliver note. But I want to also say something to
- 45:04Speaker 8: women out there, be careful.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that was dangerous.
- 45:07Speaker 2: Driving three hours. This guy real racer.
- 45:10Speaker 8: You could drive into bad neighborhoods, something to happen, So
- 45:14Speaker 8: just just be careful.
- 45:15Speaker 2: But I applaud her for what she did.
- 45:18Speaker 8: And I appreciate little punk chunk sissy befive.
- 45:22Speaker 2: Mike, he read it.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Yeah, and then she said it was still louder.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Yeah, let's see how easy it was to find you.
- 45:36Speaker 8: Yeah, because because it could have been somebody other than her, Mike,
- 45:41Speaker 8: that's what she was really saying. Her brothers could have
- 45:43Speaker 8: came down here. It might have been a different visit.
- 45:46Speaker 9: Wow, you already know that's a lot.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Yeah, it is, it is.
- 45:53Speaker 2: That's a lot.
- 45:54Speaker 8: But I think it's that Internet can work both ways,
- 45:58Speaker 8: and that's a good way to make it work, because
- 46:00Speaker 8: a lot of people lose their jobs when they put
- 46:02Speaker 8: these racial things on the lines.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they do as they should. Yeah right, sent
- 46:09Speaker 1: a bond cairen the other day.

- 56:48Speaker 1: Thank you nephew.
- 56:49Speaker 9: Subject I'm not going this year. Dear Stephen Shirley. My
- 56:54Speaker 9: boyfriend is fourteen years older than I am. We met
- 56:57Speaker 9: through a dating app and in his pro file he
- 57:00Speaker 9: stated that he's looking for adventure and fun. As we
- 57:04Speaker 9: got to know each other, he admitted that he did
- 57:06Speaker 9: not that he did a lot of threesomes in his thirties,
- 57:09Speaker 9: but he said it's not his thing anymore. He said
- 57:12Speaker 9: he's even had more than two girls in the bed
- 57:15Speaker 9: at one time. I told him it was TMI, but
- 57:18Speaker 9: he said he wanted me to know what I was
- 57:20Speaker 9: getting into. At that time, I had never been with
- 57:24Speaker 9: another female, but I was curious. That was a year ago.
- 57:28Speaker 9: I've matured a lot since then. And it all happened
- 57:31Speaker 9: this January, when my boyfriend took me to his friend's
- 57:34Speaker 9: fiftieth birthday party. I met the most beautiful woman I
- 57:39Speaker 9: had ever.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Seen, and she was so sweet.
- 57:42Speaker 9: We talked all night and she told me that mostly
- 57:44Speaker 9: everyone at the party has had sex with each other.
- 57:48Speaker 9: I asked if they had a swinger thing going on,
- 57:51Speaker 9: and she said it wasn't like that. Like I said,
- 57:55Speaker 9: I was curious, so I invited the woman over to
- 57:57Speaker 9: my boyfriend's house. To make a long story short, we
- 58:01Speaker 9: all started hooking up. We stopped messing with her in
- 58:04Speaker 9: October of this year, and since then she's been calling
- 58:07Speaker 9: my boyfriend asking for money and threatening to tell everyone
- 58:11Speaker 9: about our threesomes. Everyone like who though I'm above this
- 58:15Speaker 9: type of foolishness. I have a reputation to uphold as
- 58:19Speaker 9: a teacher. It's that time again, soon for his friend's
- 58:22Speaker 9: fifty first birthday party, and I tell my boyfriend I'm
- 58:25Speaker 9: not going this year. That lady could be planning to
- 58:29Speaker 9: make a scene. He said, I'm being paranoid, and he
- 58:32Speaker 9: has begged me to reconsider. I am not going this year.
- 58:36Speaker 9: How can my boyfriend be so unbothered? Is there more
- 58:39Speaker 9: going on than I know about? Well, I think you're
- 58:43Speaker 9: wise to ask that particular question, because he did take
- 58:46Speaker 9: you to his friend's fiftieth birthday party in the first place.
- 58:50Speaker 9: And the woman, the woman you call the most beautiful
- 58:52Speaker 9: woman that you had ever seen, the sweetest woman, and.
- 58:54Speaker 2: All of that.
- 58:55Speaker 1: She told you that most of the people at the
- 58:57Speaker 1: party had had sex with each other.
- 58:59Speaker 6: Well.
- 58:59Speaker 9: Based on on that, it is very safe to assume
- 59:02Speaker 9: that she was talking about your boyfriend too. But in
- 59:06Speaker 9: October of this year, you or we, as you said,
- 59:09Speaker 9: stopped messing with her. You didn't tell us why what happened.
- 59:14Speaker 9: You very conveniently left that part out. Now you're scared
- 59:18Speaker 9: she's going to tell everyone if your boyfriend doesn't give
- 59:21Speaker 9: her money.
- 59:22Speaker 1: And now you're concerned about your reputation as a teacher.
- 59:26Speaker 9: I think it's a little late for that, but hopefully
- 59:29Speaker 9: the school, or the board or anybody won't find out.
- 59:32Speaker 9: And now your man is asking you to go to
- 59:35Speaker 9: this birthday party with him again.
- 59:37Speaker 1: You said no.
- 59:38Speaker 9: That's good, You've entitled your letter I'm not going again
- 59:41Speaker 9: this year. But now I think you need to say
- 59:45Speaker 9: no to this whole relationship, not just the party. Your
- 59:48Speaker 9: boyfriend should be protecting you, okay, you should feel safe
- 59:52Speaker 9: with him. Don't let these swingers, even though they call themselves,
- 59:56Speaker 9: they say they're not swingers. Don't let these swingers make
- 59:58Speaker 9: you lose your job.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: All of that, okay, Steve, Well, Shirley, let me say
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: this off the back end of what you just said.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: Don't let these swingers make you lose a job. She's
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: a swinger.
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: She's okay, she's been swinging since the last party. Yeah,
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: swinging hard, Hollywood, Hollywood swing us ay. Now, listen the
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: title of the letters, I'm not going this year. I
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: got news for you.
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: He is. Now.
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: I appreciate you taking a stand and all this here,
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: but this letter kind of you know, your boyfriend fourteen
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: years younger than you, you met at a date a year.
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: I'm sorry, but fourteen years older than I am. Y'all
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: met on his dating profile.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Excuse me?
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: He said he's looking for adventure and fun. Oh little,
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: did you know what type of invention fun he was
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: talking because he didn't mention rock climbing in here, know
- 1:01:05Speaker 8: where I ain't see bunch of jumping I didn't see.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: He likes skiing on the on the Black Diamond slopes
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: and none of that.
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: Looking for adventuring fun. Then y'all got to know each other.
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: Then he admitted to you he had a lot of
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: threesomes in his thirties, but he says not his thing anymore.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: A lot of them. God, come on, boy.
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: He said he's even had more than two girls in
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: his bed at once. I don't know how that listen.
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: This is I want to say this before I continue
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: the letter to anybody listening. This is not a freak
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: off letter.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: That's not what this is. They say we did. We
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: didn't get this, this puffeting right this end. We don't.
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: We don't know wh that letter came from. It's start
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: to have little freak off tones to it, and it's scared.
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: I told him that was too much information, but he
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: said he wanted me to know what I was getting into.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: Now listen to me.
- 1:02:14Speaker 8: He'd then told you he had a bunch of threesomes
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: in his thirties. His friend is at his fiftieth birthday party,
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: so I'm assuming he's at fifty up, and he wanted
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: you to.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Know what you were getting into. So when he told
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: you that ain't what he do no more, that wasn't true.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: At that time.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I had never been with another female, but I was curious.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: That was a year ago.
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: I matured a lot since then, and all happened this
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: January when my boyfriend took me to his friend's fiftieth
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: birthday party. I met the most beautiful woman I've ever seen,
- 1:02:54Speaker 8: and she was so sweet, Lord have mercy. Right after this,
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: we get into the freak call turd back right after this.
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: All right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today strawberry
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: letter subject I'm not going this year. We'll get back into.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: It right after this.
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. If someone asks you
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: to pay with a gift card, it's a scam. Always.
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: Cammers love gift cards because they're just like cash. They
- 1:03:31Speaker 9: use fake stories about prizes, overdue bills, or emergencies to

- 1:03:54Speaker 9: come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: is I'm not going this year.
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: Letters about this lady who met her boyfriend who's fourteen
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: years older than her on a dating app. In his profile,
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: he said he was looking for adventure and fun. Now,
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: no way in the app did you hear rock climbing
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: or snowboarding, a bungee jumping. You didn't hear cliff diving.
- 1:04:22Speaker 8: You didn't hear a free diving, spearfishing.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: You didn't hear that. You didn't hear a.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: Black diamond slope skiing, you didn't hear that. You didn't
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: hear hang gliding or parachuting. All you heard was adventure fund.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: Then y'all got to know each other. And then he
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: admitted to you he had a lot of threesomes in
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: his thirties. Here comes the adventure and fun.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: He said.
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: But he's not into that. That's not his thing anymore.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: He said, he's.
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: Even had more than two girls in his bed at
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: one time. I told him that's TMI. He said, he
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: wanted me to know what I was getting into that
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: Right there, ma'am negates what he just said about. I'm
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: not into that anymore. So now, at that time, I
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: had never been with another female, But I was curious. Now,
- 1:05:16Speaker 8: she said, that was a year ago. She's matured a
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: lot since that. And then this January, which means coming
- 1:05:23Speaker 8: up is this next party.
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: But this January, your.
- 1:05:27Speaker 8: Boyfriend took you to his friend's fiftieth birthday party. That's
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: how I know they round the same age. I met
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: She was so sweet. We talked all night. She told
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: you that most everybody at the party that had sex
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: with each other. Now what she told you to find? Chick?
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I asked if they had a swingers thing going on.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: She said, it wasn't like that. Well, what is it then?
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: If everybody at the party that had sex with each other?
- 1:05:59Speaker 6: What you call that.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Swanging?
- 1:06:04Speaker 6: What is it?
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Just let me know which one it is? Something happening here.
- 1:06:12Speaker 8: To make a long story short, I said, I was curious,
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: so I invited the woman over to my boyfriend's house.
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: You did this, now, to take a long story short,
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: we all started hooking up. We stopped messing with her
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: in October of this year, and since then she been
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: calling my boyfriend asking for money and threatening to tell
- 1:06:35Speaker 8: everybody about our threesomes. Then the lady said, everybody like, who,
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: I'm above this type of foolishness.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: No you're not. No, you ain't above it.
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: You in it.
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: I have a reputation to uphold as a teacher.
- 1:06:53Speaker 8: Teachers do freaky stuff too, you know, our pastors do
- 1:06:56Speaker 8: freaky stuff. You know, astronauts seeking stuff a.
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: TV. Yeah, some some happening up there. Oh, we ain't
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: got no gravity going on? What you're doing this? Eave Okay,
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: I'm I can.
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: Promise you something didn't happening in one of them ships.
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: I'm above this type of food. I have a reputation
- 1:07:22Speaker 8: of holes here. So now I guess what, y'all it's
- 1:07:26Speaker 8: time again this January for my friend's fifty first birthday party.
- 1:07:32Speaker 8: I told my boyfriend I'm not going this year. That
- 1:07:37Speaker 8: lady could be planning to make a scene. He said,
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: I'm being paranoid, and he has begged me to reconsider. See,
- 1:07:45Speaker 8: because y'all gonna go to the party and find another
- 1:07:48Speaker 8: person to hook up with, and the lady ain't gonna
- 1:07:52Speaker 8: make no scene because that what they're all in there doing. Anyway,
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: I slept with them, we know it. Well what's she
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: gonna say? And having a threesomewhere with him and her?
- 1:08:03Speaker 8: But you was over our house too, So the boyfriend
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: know you're being a little paranoid, and you are, But
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: do I think you should go?
- 1:08:17Speaker 12: This?
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: Don't look like this really for you. I'm not going
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: this year? How can my boyfriend be so unbothered? Is
- 1:08:25Speaker 8: that more going on than I know about? He told
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: you he wanted you to know what he was getting in,
- 1:08:32Speaker 8: what you were getting into. This is his lifestyle. Birds
- 1:08:39Speaker 8: of a feather, flock together your free and throw a
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: birthday party every year. The girl told you everybody at
- 1:08:46Speaker 8: the party that slept with each other.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: So that's what they do. I don't understand what's the
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: confusion right.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: Now?
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: You're going not?
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: She said, She's not.
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: Yeah, but see you was curious about women. You met
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: the most beautiful woman you ever saw.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Are you going again?
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: He started?
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: She started asking your boyfriend for money and stuff. That's
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: when he started fooling with it.
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: This ain't free, y'all know this game. Let me tell
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: you that I'm not going.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: You're not going to the.
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: Waid Too many cares?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Were you invited? They didn't invite you.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: See, that's why they don't invite me.
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: That's the one thing about you know, like Dave Chappelle
- 1:09:48Speaker 8: did that joke about not going to the Freak Coffee
- 1:09:51Speaker 8: didn't he.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: Said, Wow, I'm the only one that ain't get invited?
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: Am I? Ugly?

- 1:13:56Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, a man
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: wants his wife to give him more personal space.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: He needs some advice. We'll get into it right.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: After this exactly.
- 1:14:07Speaker 9: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:14Speaker 9: So this is from Sean and El Paso. Sean says,
- 1:14:17Speaker 9: my wife is too affectionate. I can't come home from
- 1:14:21Speaker 9: work without her rubbing my face and holding me around
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: the waist when she's talking. The other day, I ate
- 1:14:28Speaker 9: Dorito's on the way home and smoked weed, so I
- 1:14:32Speaker 9: didn't want her in my face. As soon as I
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: got home. In the bed, she does the spooning. She's
- 1:14:38Speaker 9: always on my back with her leg over my leg.
- 1:14:41Speaker 9: She can't tell my body language. When I'm not in
- 1:14:45Speaker 9: the mood. Before you assume that I'm tired of her,
- 1:14:49Speaker 9: I'm not what I still enjoyed, maw he not.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: No, I understand he's not tired of her. He loves
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: this rooman deally, but get off me.
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: Though he says he still enjoys marriage, he just needs
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: her to give him some space.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: And how do you tell how everybody don't want all
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: that I've been at work, I'm.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: Hot, the baby, Come here, your leg off, rub my face,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: come here, Honi, I love you.
- 1:15:18Speaker 8: Oh I ain't four right, he gotta say something, stop
- 1:15:29Speaker 8: me on my nose.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: But that's what she wants to know. He wants to know.
- 1:15:34Speaker 9: How does he tell his wife that she's too affectionate,
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: that he needed to say that.
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I'm just tell you something, bro, that's just feelings.
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Yeah yeah.
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: If you hurt her feelings, then they go the other way.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Nothing.
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: Then you don't get nothing.
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I'm talking about nothing. Oh you don't want my legs?
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: You know you ain't over here trying to touch somebody. Yeah,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: that's your side over there. This is my thigh.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: Okay, man, I'm gonna tell you.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Don't close this line.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: See that's what see y'all that they're gonna go to
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: the extreme.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: So what we do all or nothing?
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: Yes, this is what I do. My wife will let
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: her read this and tell her I would like.
- 1:16:22Speaker 6: Her do that.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: You would like her to put her leg?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Put your leg on me? Please?
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Are you looking for some of ye?
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: See Jr.
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: Your situation different. Oh see, because you know most of
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: your family like right now, probably scared of.

- 1:16:56Speaker 8: your your reputation right now is a little shocking. So
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: ain't nobody hugging and laying their leg on you right
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: now because they don't know?
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: Tell his wife that he needs some space.
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: I don't know how he's gonna do it. Here's the
- 1:17:11Speaker 8: trick I use. But I gotta go to the bathroom.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Every time, every time. That's what he has.
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: I used that.
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: I use that a lot.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: And you, honey, I'll go with you. I'll be right
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: outside the door.
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: When no, no, no, this woman, this woman, you don't
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: need to be nowhere near the crack of this dough.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: You don't need to be over there.
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: Come by, because unless you're gonna pack a tie down
- 1:17:45Speaker 8: at the bottom of that door.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: I don't recogen you be by this dough. I don't
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: what I hate, I don't. I don't recommend you be
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: by the don't want you to hear nothing.
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: Then you can tell you need space.

- 1:18:06Speaker 9: for another one. This is from Sedra in Asheville. She says,
- 1:18:10Speaker 9: I was dating a new guy for about a month
- 1:18:12Speaker 9: before I invited him to come to my house. I
- 1:18:14Speaker 9: warned him that I have a pet, bunny, a cat,
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: and a hamster. He said, all three of my pets
- 1:18:19Speaker 9: gross him out, and I should have told him about
- 1:18:21Speaker 9: my animals when we met. He rudely said that it
- 1:18:24Speaker 9: said that it changes how he feels about me. But
- 1:18:28Speaker 9: he has a bulldog. Was that just his way of
- 1:18:30Speaker 9: saying that he doesn't want.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: To date me anymore?
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: Now, your house steak.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: She had a rabbit, a cat, and a hamster.
- 1:18:40Speaker 14: Right, yeah, wow, yeah, your house steak. Okay, so this

- 1:27:02Speaker 1: You just got a regular tree this year.
- 1:27:10Speaker 2: I just realized what's happening. So let's just move on.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: You got a question for.
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: You when you talk about success, man, and it's you
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: always say it's a choice.
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: You have to choose it. You have to choose to
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: be successful.
- 1:27:27Speaker 8: You know, God, Yeah, go ahead, But you know, I
- 1:27:31Speaker 8: mean God created us all with the power of choice.
- 1:27:36Speaker 8: We're the only creatures beings that He made that has
- 1:27:40Speaker 8: the complete full power of choice because we were created
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: in his image.
- 1:27:46Speaker 2: God made choices. In the beginning.
- 1:27:50Speaker 8: God said, let there be light, and there was light.
- 1:27:54Speaker 8: He been making decisions all along. You get to decide.
- 1:28:01Speaker 8: If you don't like the way your life is going,
- 1:28:04Speaker 8: you can make a decision to change it. Now with
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: that decision comes work, effort, planning, but you get the choice.
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: What stops people from choosing success is the fear of
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: failure and the unwillingness to participate in all that is
- 1:28:27Speaker 8: required because it's hard, it.
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: Really is, man, But you get to choose.
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: A really, really interesting conversation I had with a friend
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: of mine and I said something man, and he later
- 1:28:39Speaker 8: on text me and said, wow, Man, that's one of
- 1:28:42Speaker 8: the deepest things you've ever said to me.
- 1:28:44Speaker 12: Love.
- 1:28:45Speaker 8: We were talking man, and he was my best friend
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: in college. We were roommates. Marvelous. Marvel lives in Dayton,
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: Ohio still to this day one of my favorite people
- 1:28:56Speaker 8: in the world. Just had a seventieth birthday to the
- 1:28:59Speaker 8: other day Happy birthday, marvelous. We were talking and he said, Man,
- 1:29:05Speaker 8: I don't know how you did it. He said, man,
- 1:29:09Speaker 8: because I just I couldn't have been you. The stuff
- 1:29:11Speaker 8: they've written about you and said about you that I
- 1:29:14Speaker 8: knew wasn't true, because I know you. How you we've
- 1:29:18Speaker 8: stood it, all, he say.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: Is beyond me.
- 1:29:21Speaker 8: Man, I couldn't have did it, man, he said, Man,
- 1:29:24Speaker 8: they done done you dirty. He said, Man, but let
- 1:29:28Speaker 8: me ask you some love. He said, why you always
- 1:29:31Speaker 8: take the hard road?
- 1:29:33Speaker 9: Man?
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: He said, Man, everything you do is hard.
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: Why do you always take the hard road? I told him,
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: I said, hey, bro, what makes you think I see
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: two roads? The reason I take the hard road and
- 1:29:55Speaker 8: have always picked the hard road is because everything thing
- 1:30:00Speaker 8: I've ever wanted.
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: In my life.
- 1:30:03Speaker 8: Was going to be hard to get to. I ain't
- 1:30:07Speaker 8: never wanted the easy road because ain't nothing over there.
- 1:30:12Speaker 8: I've always wanted and chosen the hard road because everything
- 1:30:19Speaker 8: you want in life is on the other side of uncomfortable,
- 1:30:23Speaker 8: and you got to get comfortable being uncomfortable. If you're
- 1:30:26Speaker 8: not willing to do that, you'll never be successful. I'm sorry,
- 1:30:30Speaker 8: that's the way it is. I didn't make it that way.
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: I didn't pick it that way. I didn't choose it
- 1:30:35Speaker 8: that way. That is simply the way it is. So
- 1:30:39Speaker 8: buckle down, hold on tight. If you want to win
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: and get it right, you got to go the hard way.
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: Because it's hard. You don't but you get to choose
- 1:30:50Speaker 8: that though. Now listen to this. You can choose not
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: to go the hard way. You can choose to take
- 1:30:58Speaker 8: the easy way. But what's over there?
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: Though?
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: Think about it, y'all. In y'all's life, think about the
- 1:31:06Speaker 8: easy way. What's over there? Guess what I see when
- 1:31:10Speaker 8: I look over there at the easy way? I always
- 1:31:13Speaker 8: see something I want. If you're trying to make fast,
- 1:31:16Speaker 8: easy money, guess what's over there? Prison, arrest, jail time,
- 1:31:25Speaker 8: severe consequences. Everything I've ever wanted in life is on
- 1:31:31Speaker 8: the other side of uncomfortable. I just learned to be
- 1:31:35Speaker 8: comfortable being uncomfortable, and that got me the lifestyle. But
- 1:31:42Speaker 8: you get choices, man, you get to decide. But it's
- 1:31:44Speaker 8: hard not being successful too. Think about that for a moment, y'all,
- 1:31:48Speaker 8: have yourself a great day to day. Talk to God.
- 1:31:52Speaker 8: He would absolutely love to hear from you today. And
- 1:31:56Speaker 8: it don't even matter If it's been a while, y'all
- 1:31:59Speaker 8: just go to God.
