- 1:24Speaker 3: You're gonna turn you. I can't. I got to turn
- 1:41Speaker 3: the mouth. Turn you probably got to turn mouth, turn
- 1:46Speaker 3: out the water, the mona.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Good morning, everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 5: You all listening to the voice, come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 5: one and only Steve Harvey oh Man got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Man got a radio show, and a whole lot mold too, man.
- 2:16Speaker 5: God is good to me. I have no other explanation,
- 2:19Speaker 5: if I have no other explanation of my existence and
- 2:23Speaker 5: where I stand in this thing called life, except if
- 2:26Speaker 5: it was not for the goodness of God Almighty. If
- 2:30Speaker 5: it was not for His grace and his mercy, There's
- 2:34Speaker 5: no way I could exist the way that I do.
- 2:37Speaker 5: I will not be who I am or where I am.
- 2:40Speaker 5: I am who I am and where I am simply
- 2:44Speaker 5: because God is who he is. If it was not
- 2:49Speaker 5: for God, I would have no testimony for you, because
- 2:53Speaker 5: I would have failed every single test, plain, pure and simple.
- 2:59Speaker 5: I can sit here today and tell you flat out
- 3:03Speaker 5: that it is purely because of God's grace and mercy
- 3:08Speaker 5: that I exist today because of His favor. See now
- 3:12Speaker 5: He shows us favor in life because of a combination
- 3:17Speaker 5: of things I've discovered.
- 3:19Speaker 2: And this is not the whole answer to life, I
- 3:22Speaker 2: can assure you as not.
- 3:24Speaker 5: But this is a combination that I've grown to understand
- 3:27Speaker 5: better and better, and I wish I had gotten it
- 3:30Speaker 5: earlier in my life.
- 3:32Speaker 2: But here it is.
- 3:34Speaker 5: If you take faith and you combine it with an
- 3:42Speaker 5: incredible work ethic.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Then God.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Has the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the
- 3:55Speaker 5: best way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It is the combination of faith and work that produces
- 4:05Speaker 5: the most opportunities for God.
- 4:08Speaker 2: To show you favor.
- 4:09Speaker 5: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:12Speaker 5: but we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So
- 4:15Speaker 5: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But
- 4:18Speaker 5: see if you had the faith in God that God
- 4:22Speaker 5: can do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:27Speaker 5: that God will see you through. That the God, the
- 4:30Speaker 5: God you serve, is the greatest giver of all good things.
- 4:33Speaker 5: If you kept that faith intact through it all, and
- 4:37Speaker 5: you produced an incredible work ethic that allows the most
- 4:43Speaker 5: opportunities for God to show you favor. See without that
- 4:49Speaker 5: what you want God to do? See, you can have
- 4:51Speaker 5: faith and be sitting at the house watching TV. There's
- 4:56Speaker 5: nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 5:02Speaker 5: And you got to do some things man, that you
- 5:05Speaker 5: are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing, or something
- 5:10Speaker 5: that don't have the right payoff right in front of
- 5:12Speaker 5: your face, with the faith that it'll pay off later on. See,
- 5:17Speaker 5: too many people are working for the right now reward,
- 5:21Speaker 5: and the right now reward is not how it works.
- 5:23Speaker 5: Sometimes the reward is coming later on up the road.
- 5:27Speaker 5: But the only way you can know that is if
- 5:30Speaker 5: you got to You got to apply the faith and
- 5:32Speaker 5: see the reason you don't know that that it's coming
- 5:36Speaker 5: like that, or you have to have faith to believe
- 5:39Speaker 5: that it's coming. Because faith is the belief in things
- 5:43Speaker 5: that you cannot see.
- 5:46Speaker 2: That's what faith is. You know you standing at let
- 5:49Speaker 2: me give you exam.
- 5:50Speaker 5: You standing at the crosswalk with a walk sign on
- 5:53Speaker 5: it and the sign flashing on the corner, don't walk?
- 5:56Speaker 5: Then that the signs say walk, What do you think
- 6:02Speaker 5: your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Is what?
- 6:05Speaker 2: Pretty good? Because guess what the signs say walk. You
- 6:09Speaker 2: can see the other side.
- 6:11Speaker 5: There's other people in the cross walk walking, So guess
- 6:14Speaker 5: what you strike out blindly? It don't take a lot
- 6:17Speaker 5: of faith to get across that streets.
- 6:20Speaker 2: That's not what I'm talking to you about.
- 6:23Speaker 5: I'm talking about the faith, the belief in things that
- 6:26Speaker 5: you cannot see, the faith that what I'm doing today,
- 6:32Speaker 5: I believe in my heart of heart that God.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Wouldn't bring me this far to leave me.
- 6:37Speaker 5: That God is a true and living God, that he
- 6:39Speaker 5: keeps his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm
- 6:42Speaker 5: working towards right now gonna pay off later on. See,
- 6:45Speaker 5: too many people want the reward right now. See, that's
- 6:49Speaker 5: not the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing
- 6:53Speaker 5: to do, if it's if it's a good thing to do,
- 6:57Speaker 5: if it's a just thing to do. See if it's
- 7:00Speaker 5: sin in it, it ain't God. You can just clear
- 7:03Speaker 5: it on up right there. You can stop all the wondering.
- 7:06Speaker 5: If that's His voice talking to you, if it's the
- 7:08Speaker 5: right thing to do, if it's sin in it. It's
- 7:12Speaker 5: not God talking to you.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Kill it. You can shut it down.
- 7:18Speaker 5: You ain't got to wonder about it. Go down there
- 7:19Speaker 5: and secret venge that ain't God. Go tell them off
- 7:22Speaker 5: when you see him. That ain't God. Anything that's got
- 7:25Speaker 5: sining in it is not God's voice telling you to
- 7:28Speaker 5: do it. So you can kill that conversation today. That's
- 7:32Speaker 5: how you know. But if you aligning yourself up man
- 7:35Speaker 5: and you and what you're doing is just and right
- 7:37Speaker 5: and correct and pleasing in the sight of God, it'll
- 7:41Speaker 5: pay off for you later on. And see, here's the
- 7:46Speaker 5: best way I can tell to his another one when
- 7:50Speaker 5: you're going somewhere. When when you're on the road to
- 7:54Speaker 5: going somewhere, and you know the somewhere that you're trying
- 7:58Speaker 5: to get to. Let's say you've set a goal or
- 8:00Speaker 5: vision for yourself, you know where you want to get to,
- 8:02Speaker 5: You got a good idea, and you own your way
- 8:06Speaker 5: to going there. Listen to me when it gets hard,
- 8:10Speaker 5: and it is going to get hard, when it gets difficult,
- 8:14Speaker 5: and it is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging,
- 8:17Speaker 5: and it is going to become challenging when it becomes
- 8:21Speaker 5: all three of those things when it don't look like
- 8:24Speaker 5: it's gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
- 8:29Speaker 5: I know he don't bless me. But in the middle
- 8:32Speaker 5: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
- 8:34Speaker 5: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
- 8:37Speaker 5: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you complain and see,
- 8:41Speaker 5: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
- 8:45Speaker 5: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
- 8:49Speaker 5: go to, you actually own your way there still. See,
- 8:53Speaker 5: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight
- 8:56Speaker 5: of your blessing that's actually happening to you. What really, man,
- 9:01Speaker 5: of all the times to register a complaint to God,
- 9:05Speaker 5: to sit up and go, hey, man, I didn't I
- 9:08Speaker 5: wanted to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
- 9:11Speaker 5: you in. It's a tornado world around you. You ain't
- 9:14Speaker 5: got time to ease back in. You gots to go
- 9:16Speaker 5: on and jump back in it. It is what it
- 9:18Speaker 5: is to whom much is given, much is required. Always
- 9:22Speaker 5: appreciate the blessings. Don't get so caught up in the
- 9:24Speaker 5: complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man, God
- 9:27Speaker 5: got a lot for you in your life, man, But
- 9:29Speaker 5: you got to have them two things, y'all. You got
- 9:32Speaker 5: to take that faith and you got to ply a
- 9:35Speaker 5: crazy work ethic to it. And that creates the most
- 9:39Speaker 5: opportunities for God to show you favor. And when God
- 9:43Speaker 5: starts showing your favor, man, all them seeds you plant
- 9:46Speaker 5: it that, all of that wheat you've been sowing, all
- 9:50Speaker 5: of that hard work you've been put in God.
- 9:52Speaker 2: To pay it off.
- 9:53Speaker 5: And He'll pay it off in ways that you don't
- 9:55Speaker 5: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Morning show, Rise and Shine, Wake up, Wake up, Wake up.
- 10:05Speaker 2: It's Tuesday, Tuesday morning. Uh huh, uh huh, that's what

- 10:59Speaker 2: moving towards the poll, moving towards the pole. That's all
- 11:03Speaker 2: I'm saying. Just keep thinking about the poll, keep visualizing
- 11:07Speaker 2: the poll. Visualize yourself at the poll. And when you
- 11:10Speaker 2: get in the poll, when you get in there and
- 11:12Speaker 2: p and and and you know it's digital and and
- 11:15Speaker 2: click once you're trying to click on and then you
- 11:17Speaker 2: have it and poll p.
- 11:18Speaker 6: O L L.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Yeah, because it's.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yeah, what's happening.
- 11:26Speaker 8: Get by the pole down and all sexy with them.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Now when we when we get when we get to
- 11:32Speaker 2: voting at the pole, we go celebrate l E at
- 11:40Speaker 2: the p O L E Okay, however y'all want to
- 11:43Speaker 2: do it. But today is a new day, Yes, it is.
- 11:45Speaker 2: The day is a new day. So I got it.
- 11:48Speaker 2: I got a new attitude.
- 11:49Speaker 3: I was.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I think you said it earlier, Shirley, that you know
- 11:51Speaker 2: you was down when it first happened. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 11:59Speaker 2: an you know, but we're up.
- 12:01Speaker 8: Now, we're up.
- 12:01Speaker 2: We're up.
- 12:02Speaker 8: We gotta do what we gotta do and win this thing.
- 12:05Speaker 8: Beat Trump. That's what we gotta do.
- 12:07Speaker 9: And you know what else, I'm going to say this,
- 12:10Speaker 9: I think it's time. And what I mean by that
- 12:13Speaker 9: is I think it's time for a woman.
- 12:16Speaker 8: I think it's not a woman, it's time. Yeah, time,
- 12:23Speaker 8: and black women we always save the day, save the day.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Said that.
- 12:32Speaker 8: You should save the day.
- 12:34Speaker 2: That's what we do. I've watched a lot of men
- 12:38Speaker 2: running this country. I really would like to change your pace.
- 12:42Speaker 1: That would be Yeah, that'd be good, that'd be good.
- 12:44Speaker 8: Yeah, we know how to run stuff.
- 12:48Speaker 1: She's a leader, she's the vice president.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It's time.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 12:52Speaker 8: So let's go.
- 12:52Speaker 9: Let's get behind her, support her once she gets this nomination,
- 12:56Speaker 9: and take her all the way to the White House.

- 13:01Speaker 4: That's the kid says heayyy, we were heart let's go.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And what was the color?
- 13:09Speaker 2: What was the zoom? You guys on Jackie was on

- 13:38Speaker 9: All right, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,

- 13:48Speaker 9: time now for the nephew to run that prank back. Nephew,
- 13:53Speaker 9: what you have for us today?
- 13:54Speaker 2: We're gonna get down here at the bottom of this pyramid, Shirley.
- 13:57Speaker 2: We getting down at the bottom of this pram cat Dog.
- 14:01Speaker 2: If you could.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Hello, hello, hello, hello, yeah, can you hear me. I'm
- 14:15Speaker 6: trying to reach Angela.
- 14:16Speaker 11: Ang on just a second, let me count it down. Okay, Hi,
- 14:23Speaker 11: who're you trying to reach?
- 14:23Speaker 6: I'm trying to reach Angela. This Angela. Oh yeah, this
- 14:26Speaker 6: se Hi Angela. This is Chip Chip. I'm the new
- 14:30Speaker 6: camp director for the cheerleading camp for the summer.
- 14:32Speaker 11: Oh hi, Chip, what can I do for you?
- 14:34Speaker 6: Just want to give you a courtesy call your daughter.
- 14:36Speaker 6: You've got her signed up for four weeks with the camp,
- 14:40Speaker 6: right Yeah. Yeah, this is you guys, third year of being.
- 14:43Speaker 2: A part of the camp.
- 14:44Speaker 11: Yep, and she's really excited. She loves coming to the
- 14:47Speaker 11: camp and we think it's a great thing for how
- 14:49Speaker 11: to be involved in what's up.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Okay, you guys just finished the whole cheerleading season too,
- 14:54Speaker 6: am I right? The competition season? Yes, just coming off
- 14:57Speaker 6: of that, right right, Okay, Well, we're getting ready for
- 15:00Speaker 6: the summer and where everybody's excited about coming out and
- 15:02Speaker 6: being a part of what's going on. So here's what
- 15:04Speaker 6: I wanted to give you a little bit. Like I said,
- 15:06Speaker 6: I'm the new camp director. I was just starting at
- 15:10Speaker 6: this job. I got a few notes that were given
- 15:13Speaker 6: to me about about so I wanted to give you
- 15:16Speaker 6: a call and see if I could talk to you
- 15:18Speaker 6: about it.
- 15:18Speaker 11: A few notes giving to you about Yeah, just a.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Couple of notes. I don't think it's anything that we
- 15:22Speaker 6: can make sure is okay?
- 15:24Speaker 11: What kind of notes.
- 15:25Speaker 6: Well, it's been brought to my attention that some of
- 15:27Speaker 6: the parents whose daughters are out there as well, there's
- 15:30Speaker 6: going to be there this summer a little concerned about
- 15:33Speaker 6: her being on top of the pyramid, that she's h
- 15:38Speaker 6: is feel a little heavy should.
- 15:39Speaker 11: She wait wait, wait, hol hold home. You calling me
- 15:45Speaker 11: about some some other parents and said about how big
- 15:49Speaker 11: my child is or how much my child wigs.
- 15:52Speaker 6: That was what I wanted to let you know is
- 15:55Speaker 6: is we're going to put together a base as a.
- 16:00Speaker 11: No, you ain't gonna put no baby, I don't already.
- 16:02Speaker 12: Pay my money.
- 16:03Speaker 11: And what you say your name is chimp? And how
- 16:06Speaker 11: long have you been to the director because I was
- 16:07Speaker 11: just up there two weeks ago and they told me
- 16:10Speaker 11: that she was gonna be the same position that she
- 16:13Speaker 11: was last year, because that is what worked, that's the
- 16:15Speaker 11: formation that worked.
- 16:16Speaker 6: So I don't even know what you supposedly that some
- 16:19Speaker 6: of the girls are complaining that she's too heavy to
- 16:21Speaker 6: hold up, so that what seems to be the problem
- 16:24Speaker 6: in there, they're not getting a strong enough pyramid.
- 16:26Speaker 11: And I'm now wait a minute, wait a minute, I know,
- 16:29Speaker 11: well she ain't the biggest one. I felt, have you
- 16:32Speaker 11: been I fail?
- 16:33Speaker 13: My child is not the biggest child.
- 16:34Speaker 11: I fell when is because obviously you have not seen
- 16:37Speaker 11: these childis.
- 16:38Speaker 6: It's some baby, So I felt, Okay, hang on, say Angela,
- 16:41Speaker 6: I want you to calm down a bit.
- 16:43Speaker 11: I ain't nobody gonna calm down because I don't already
- 16:45Speaker 11: pay my money. And this said, I'll be talking about
- 16:47Speaker 11: what parents, what parentson said?
- 16:50Speaker 12: Something?
- 16:50Speaker 3: Is? It?
- 16:51Speaker 14: Is it carried, ma'am.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 16:53Speaker 6: I'm not gonna stay who it is, but let's just
- 16:54Speaker 6: say it was several Oh.
- 16:57Speaker 11: Paris has got something to say about my child and
- 17:00Speaker 11: her position on the cheerleading squad. Because if you ain't
- 17:02Speaker 11: gonna puk up no name, then I don't unna say
- 17:04Speaker 11: what you're calling me about. I'll tell you one thing.
- 17:07Speaker 11: When she gets outsel I done paid my money, she
- 17:09Speaker 11: better not be on no base. She better be in
- 17:12Speaker 11: the air. I guarantee you that. Right now I've been
- 17:15Speaker 11: hanging with you. Want nobody said nothing to me about
- 17:19Speaker 11: in her way and all this.
- 17:21Speaker 6: Okay, Angela, can you hear me? I just wanted you
- 17:23Speaker 6: to hear me. Clearly, I haven't seen these young ladies yet.
- 17:26Speaker 6: Once I see them, I will critique what I think.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Say.
- 17:29Speaker 11: You don't even need to be calling me because you
- 17:31Speaker 11: ain't even seen nothing. So you calling me with something.
- 17:33Speaker 11: He says, she's from some other parents that's been skinned
- 17:36Speaker 11: and grinted in my face. And they now wanted you
- 17:38Speaker 11: to say nothing to me. They'd have been in my house.
- 17:40Speaker 11: We didn't have parties over here, this competition every weekend
- 17:43Speaker 11: the other day, and they couldn't say nothing to me
- 17:45Speaker 11: about my baby. I tell you what, why don't you
- 17:48Speaker 11: call your girls on the three way? Miss the chill?
- 17:51Speaker 11: If you can't call him on the three now I
- 17:53Speaker 11: got them normous, I call him on the three way.
- 17:56Speaker 12: Okay, okay man.
- 17:58Speaker 6: All I wanted to do is make you aware of
- 18:00Speaker 6: the possibility that she may be a god.
- 18:03Speaker 11: Thank you you have made me aware. And I guarantee
- 18:05Speaker 11: you that if I bring my big yellow up there
- 18:07Speaker 11: and come to the practice, I guarantee you she want
- 18:09Speaker 11: to be no base. How much you want to bet
- 18:11Speaker 11: on that, mister.

- 18:49Speaker 11: for this coming up season, because I'm not going to
- 18:52Speaker 11: tolerate this. I don told you, I done paid my

- 21:12Speaker 9: are going on right now. And you know, if anybody knows,
- 21:15Speaker 9: it's going to be Roland Martin. But before we get
- 21:18Speaker 9: to that, right now, it is time to ask the
- 21:20Speaker 9: Riddlo and Junior.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 21:23Speaker 8: You guys, ready, ready, all right.
- 21:26Speaker 9: This is from Reshonda in Paramus. Rashanda says, I've been
- 21:30Speaker 9: with my boyfriend for four months and he took me
- 21:34Speaker 9: to his mom's sixtieth birthday party. His mom was on
- 21:37Speaker 9: the dance floor, drunk and twerking. I love that she
- 21:41Speaker 9: was having a great time, but she seems a little ghetto.
- 21:45Speaker 9: He was yelling for his mom to turn up, and
- 21:48Speaker 9: I was shocked. Does this mean we're not compatible.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Well, no, bet you. I mean mama terry sixty, mama
- 21:56Speaker 2: letting her hair. I let mama have her fun. It's
- 21:58Speaker 2: a sick, good birthday, all right. So yeah, mama got
- 22:02Speaker 2: a little tipsy.
- 22:03Speaker 8: It's okay.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Let mama get lose. Everybody there for mama. We celebrate
- 22:06Speaker 2: mama's birthday. All you got to do first, be observant,
- 22:09Speaker 2: to be observant, don't don't judge. Okay. So when you
- 22:12Speaker 2: get your man back by yourself, don't go in there
- 22:15Speaker 2: with your mama. No, no, just just let mama have it. Okay. Now,
- 22:19Speaker 2: if you see mama again all right and she tworking again,
- 22:24Speaker 2: you know, if she at church twerk and you know,
- 22:27Speaker 2: then we got an issue. All right, but that's a
- 22:29Speaker 2: right now, mama cool. Let mama have that. That's her
- 22:31Speaker 2: one day. Everybody get turned up on their birthday.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Let her have that.
- 22:35Speaker 8: Yeah, Rashonda and Paramus are scared about this family. She's scared.
- 22:42Speaker 2: What you got? Well, I know one thing.
- 22:44Speaker 7: Sure, this party was live.
- 22:45Speaker 3: I know that.
- 22:46Speaker 7: If my mama's working and she she drank it and
- 22:51Speaker 7: then her son right behind her, turn up, Mama, turn up,
- 22:55Speaker 7: do it, mama, get it.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Mama.
- 22:58Speaker 7: You sixty mama. It ain't just it ain't just mama ghetto.
- 23:02Speaker 7: It's like the whole party.
- 23:05Speaker 2: A part of Why does it sound like Anthony Anderson
- 23:07Speaker 2: and his mama? Why does this sound?
- 23:09Speaker 7: It does sound like that sound like a good time.
- 23:15Speaker 8: So she shouldn't be worried that they're not compatible.
- 23:18Speaker 7: No, don't worry about that.
- 23:19Speaker 4: Okay, okas and twkmoth judging Mama, just work at them poles.
- 23:34Speaker 7: Actually, I don't even know you can do that.
- 23:38Speaker 9: Before I actually in New Orleans says my husband and
- 23:41Speaker 9: I have a queen dead, but he acts like it's
- 23:43Speaker 9: a twin, and he's all up on me every night.
- 23:47Speaker 9: It's too hot for all that, so I put a
- 23:49Speaker 9: long body pillow between us. He thinks I did it
- 23:52Speaker 9: to keep from having sex. How do I convince him
- 23:54Speaker 9: that it's not.
- 23:55Speaker 3: That's not it?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Oh, that long body pillow, I know what you're talking about.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Too nice When you can throw your leg over there
- 24:02Speaker 2: on that thing, that's confident. But yeah, he feels like
- 24:06Speaker 2: you done drew the line now. So you just gotta
- 24:08Speaker 2: you know, what, make your man come to pull that
- 24:10Speaker 2: body pillar out the way, you know, show your man
- 24:13Speaker 2: some love. And then when y'all get through it. That
- 24:15Speaker 2: put that body pillar straight down in the middle. All right,
- 24:17Speaker 2: we dorew. Don't cross this line tonight. Do not cross
- 24:20Speaker 2: this line and gave you what you need. Don't cross
- 24:22Speaker 2: over this line. That's all that pillar is that. I
- 24:25Speaker 2: like the body pillar. Honestly, you know I've been on
- 24:29Speaker 2: the cross over it because you know, I be all
- 24:30Speaker 2: abund it. I'll be all abunder Jacky, I'm not on
- 24:32Speaker 2: the cross over it. But yeah, little body pillar, you
- 24:35Speaker 2: know I get it. A little separation, it works, it
- 24:39Speaker 2: works well.
- 24:41Speaker 7: I just say, you know, might as well if you
- 24:42Speaker 7: want to just let him know you want to convince him,
- 24:44Speaker 7: just have sex on the body pillar. Don't let that
- 24:49Speaker 7: stop you just have sex.
- 24:51Speaker 2: On the body pillar. What do is we waiting on?
- 24:54Speaker 2: He got?
- 24:55Speaker 1: How do I convince him that it's not?
- 24:57Speaker 7: Okay?
- 24:58Speaker 2: Well, put the valley pillar in there, y'all use the backtim.
- 25:04Speaker 7: All right, moving on that visual.
- 25:07Speaker 8: I'm trying to get that visual out of my head.
- 25:11Speaker 2: That pillar is in the way though. I don't know
- 25:13Speaker 2: how Julia using this pillar, but that don't something.
- 25:17Speaker 9: You got get an active imagination. Moving on to Torrence
- 25:22Speaker 9: in Louisville. Torrence says, I have an ex that we
- 25:25Speaker 9: called d D and a cousin we called d D.
- 25:28Speaker 9: My fiance took my phone and tried to block my ex,
- 25:31Speaker 9: but she blocked my cousin instead. My cousin told my
- 25:35Speaker 9: family that my fiance blocked her. So now they think
- 25:38Speaker 9: my fiance is crazy. She's not crazy. How do I
- 25:42Speaker 9: fix things with him? With them before I marry her?
- 25:45Speaker 2: We got to get some new nicknames. That's how I
- 25:47Speaker 2: listen is it's too many people to name the same thing.
- 25:51Speaker 2: We gott get some new nickname. You got to be
- 25:52Speaker 2: you got to be somebody. You gotta be Keisha, you
- 25:54Speaker 2: gotta be something else because you know that's how you
- 25:57Speaker 2: got deleted. That's how it is. We just got to
- 25:58Speaker 2: get some bath to sit the band it down. Just
- 26:00Speaker 2: have a little bait understanding that this was an honest mistake.
- 26:03Speaker 2: But we got to change these names. And let's just
- 26:05Speaker 2: figure out a new name for her. You know, it's
- 26:07Speaker 2: time for new nicknames. That's all it is. Kishu key
- 26:10Speaker 2: key reread. Y'all shouldn't want to be did it? No,
- 26:14Speaker 2: that did it? That sounds too close to to didd it.
- 26:16Speaker 2: You don't want to be I know but it sounds
- 26:19Speaker 2: too close to Diddy. I'm just saying, take that. Take that.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I'm telling you don't want to.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Be that right now?
- 26:25Speaker 8: You got that, all right?
- 26:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:30Speaker 2: Dd D d D D d ND Yes, he did.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Sound it out.
- 26:34Speaker 8: Sounded out, junior.
- 26:36Speaker 7: Come on, I'll just say, you know, to make this easy.
- 26:39Speaker 7: Can't just be d D one and d D two?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Can we just do that? Then you're gonna fight over
- 26:45Speaker 2: who won and who to Well, never.
- 26:48Speaker 7: Mind, I don't I don't want to tell you about
- 26:51Speaker 7: your ex. Why is your exiting your phone anyway?
- 26:53Speaker 2: What you're doing talking to you?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Question?
- 26:55Speaker 1: That's yeah, why is she?
- 26:56Speaker 7: And that should be just cousin d D in here
- 26:59Speaker 7: now you can now you got your eggs in here
- 27:01Speaker 7: still and you're gonna get married? Oh no, that's what
- 27:04Speaker 7: I like. Now you can't do that. We be back
- 27:06Speaker 7: by yourself single.
- 27:08Speaker 2: That's what happened. Lonely, lonely, all right.
- 27:13Speaker 9: Moving on to Serena and August. The last one, guys,
- 27:16Speaker 9: is the last one.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Serena rights.
- 27:18Speaker 9: My husband collects art, and we've selected six pieces for
- 27:22Speaker 9: our new homes. He wants to add a few more pieces,
- 27:25Speaker 9: but they don't go with our record. He said, I
- 27:28Speaker 9: don't have an eye for art, but those paintings will
- 27:30Speaker 9: not be in my house.
- 27:32Speaker 8: How do I tell him that?
- 27:33Speaker 3: Oh?
- 27:34Speaker 2: This is hard. Every couple goes through this. Somebody wants
- 27:37Speaker 2: some up on the wall, somebody don't want some. We
- 27:39Speaker 2: bea had this argument, right, here's gonna make it?
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 27:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I always lose. So listen, alright, so your
- 27:48Speaker 2: man need to let you have what you want. But
- 27:50Speaker 2: but is it something that Now if it's something like
- 27:53Speaker 2: you know, a mother or a picture of a portrait
- 27:55Speaker 2: of a mom or dad, and you kind of you
- 27:57Speaker 2: gotta kind of be a little leanient on that. But uh,
- 28:00Speaker 2: is that if he got one of them, one of
- 28:02Speaker 2: them velvet pictures of the African person with that afro
- 28:07Speaker 2: look like it looked like it glowing, the dog or
- 28:10Speaker 2: that black man they been holding up the butt nagger,
- 28:12Speaker 2: black lady and he you know behind each man. It's
- 28:16Speaker 2: a strong and black one. That picture is. Yeah, I
- 28:20Speaker 2: understand what that If they got that, if it's that
- 28:22Speaker 2: picture with their fist, yeah, that ain't going up on
- 28:25Speaker 2: that wall. That take that off. It's it's a few
- 28:27Speaker 2: pictures that can't make the wall. That I understand. The
- 28:31Speaker 2: Lord's the Lord's supper can make the wall. Okay, I'm
- 28:35Speaker 2: just saying the way we grew up. The Lord, doctor King,
- 28:38Speaker 2: he makes the wall. All right. After that, I don't
- 28:42Speaker 2: know the Jesus, Jesus make the wall.
- 28:46Speaker 3: What you got.
- 28:48Speaker 7: I don't see what the problem is. I mean, the
- 28:49Speaker 7: same way my wife told me is not going up
- 28:52Speaker 7: on the wall. Just telling you told us, Just telling
- 28:56Speaker 7: my wife don't to be putting no art up in
- 28:57Speaker 7: his house.
- 28:59Speaker 5: We can't.
- 28:59Speaker 7: I can't none of that. Nor trying to put my
- 29:03Speaker 7: high school football pitcher up.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Take that down.
- 29:05Speaker 2: It's not.
- 29:07Speaker 7: Not doing all right.
- 29:09Speaker 8: Thanks guys.
- 29:09Speaker 9: Thanks rid On June, you're coming up. At the top
- 29:11Speaker 9: of the hour. Journalist and political commentator is here.
- 29:15Speaker 8: Roland Martin will be our very special guest right after this.
- 29:19Speaker 10: You're listening Hard Morning Show.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Our special guest today is an esteemed journalist and author.
- 29:27Speaker 2: We've inviting him to give his insight and update on
- 29:30Speaker 2: the presidential election. Let's take a listen, the one and only,
- 29:33Speaker 2: my man, my colleague. Put your hands together, Roland Martin.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Good morning, last, good morning, good morning, welcome back.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Appreciate it all right.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Roland, Let's jump into it. Man, Everything is shifted. Everything
- 29:46Speaker 2: has changed. Brother, what's your insight? And do do you
- 29:49Speaker 2: think this was a good step for Biden to step down?
- 29:52Speaker 14: Well?
- 29:53Speaker 3: He was. He was left with no choice.
- 29:55Speaker 14: Remember since June twenty seventh, Democratic donor, Democratic and Lead
- 30:01Speaker 14: have been constantly attacking him. And what's crazy he is
- 30:04Speaker 14: a week after the debate, polls were virtually tied, but
- 30:09Speaker 14: because Democrats wouldn't let it go, that the lead began
- 30:13Speaker 14: to widen for Donald Trump. And that was a point
- 30:16Speaker 14: of no return for President Joe Biden. If Democrats had
- 30:21Speaker 14: coalesced around him like Republicans did, you would have the issue. Remember, adults,
- 30:25Speaker 14: I'm lied thirty times in that debate. Republicans didn't talk
- 30:28Speaker 14: about his line. He lied twenty two times in his
- 30:32Speaker 14: acceptance seech. The Republicans didn't focus on his line, but
- 30:35Speaker 14: Democrats did. And so this is where we are. And
- 30:39Speaker 14: the fact of the matter is for Vice President Kamala Harris,
- 30:43Speaker 14: they have the level of support that she's gotten in
- 30:46Speaker 14: the first you know, forty eight hours of this is huge,
- 30:50Speaker 14: you know, And what I'm surprised by is President Barack Obama,
- 30:53Speaker 14: you know, President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton. In George Stern,
- 30:57Speaker 14: the candidate. Everybody keeps saying that she could be who
- 31:00Speaker 14: could be fighting for the nomination, endorse term Obama endorsed
- 31:04Speaker 14: an open process. I didn't know what the hell that's
- 31:07Speaker 14: all about. And I think what's going to happen is
- 31:10Speaker 14: he's gonna look up and realize that was a mistake,
- 31:13Speaker 14: because the party in the base is quickly saying we
- 31:17Speaker 14: are back in this sister for president exactly.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Let me ask you this, Roland. From what I'm understanding,
- 31:22Speaker 2: what I'm hearing is that the Republicans are asking for
- 31:25Speaker 2: for President Biden to step down now and not even
- 31:29Speaker 2: finish out the next six months.
- 31:30Speaker 6: That's stupid, Thank you.
- 31:36Speaker 10: The president.
- 31:37Speaker 14: And so you knew that was coming, uh, In terms
- 31:40Speaker 14: of I mean if in fact, it's interesting. I even
- 31:43Speaker 14: had some Democrats call.
- 31:44Speaker 12: Me, uh and folks to try to convince.
- 31:47Speaker 14: Me that, well, it would be it would be better
- 31:51Speaker 14: for Vice President Harris if Biden stepped down from the
- 31:55Speaker 14: presidency and then she could run as an incumbent. I said, fool,
- 32:00Speaker 14: do y'all understand how the stock markets would respond? Do
- 32:02Speaker 14: you understand how world leaders will respond? Do you understand that?
- 32:06Speaker 14: Then the House, the Republican laid the House would then
- 32:10Speaker 14: be a one hoo and hearings or vice president. I
- 32:14Speaker 14: said she she can't run the country and rubber re
- 32:18Speaker 14: election at the same time in the short window. And
- 32:21Speaker 14: they were like, yeah, that's a good point. Roll when
- 32:23Speaker 14: anything about that, Like what are y'all thinking about?
- 32:26Speaker 6: You know?
- 32:26Speaker 14: But no, but by it is not stepping down. And
- 32:29Speaker 14: so all those Republicans who are saying you should have
- 32:32Speaker 14: resigned the presidency, they can all go to help.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Are you right?
- 32:36Speaker 1: Tell us how you really feel like that?
- 32:39Speaker 14: Well, well, well, when you own your own show, your
- 32:42Speaker 14: own network, you can say what you want to say.
- 32:45Speaker 3: I doubt it.
- 32:45Speaker 2: That's what and that's what he does. That's what he does. Hey, Roland, man,
- 32:51Speaker 2: give for those that don't know. Man, let's you know,
- 32:54Speaker 2: we keep talking about it. Can you give some insight
- 32:56Speaker 2: on Project twenty twenty five that what people should know
- 32:59Speaker 2: of about what exists in that actual.
- 33:02Speaker 14: Project Project twenty twenty five, which we'll calling hastag Trump's
- 33:07Speaker 14: Project twenty twenty five is one of the most evil
- 33:12Speaker 14: plans that I've ever seen. If you can imagine every
- 33:18Speaker 14: crazy thing the hard right has ever wanted, it is
- 33:21Speaker 14: in Project twenty twenty five. Black people over index as
- 33:26Speaker 14: federal workers. They want to or they want to require
- 33:32Speaker 14: and all federal workers take a mega loalgy pledge and
- 33:38Speaker 14: if they do not plange to MAGA, they will be fired.
- 33:43Speaker 14: That's a lot of black people. Second of all, they
- 33:46Speaker 14: want to target every program that has benefited African Americans
- 33:52Speaker 14: when it comes to from an action, when it comes
- 33:56Speaker 14: to economics, they're targeting everything. They strongly believe in anti
- 34:02Speaker 14: white racism, that this is a problem in this country,
- 34:06Speaker 14: and so they want to advocate anti white racism, which
- 34:11Speaker 14: we all know is an absolute shoke. It is about
- 34:15Speaker 14: one thousand play page plan.
- 34:17Speaker 3: And this is when you know is real.
- 34:20Speaker 14: Donald Trump has spent so much time saying, I don't.
- 34:23Speaker 12: Know what, don't know what zis.
- 34:26Speaker 14: I've never heard of this, because they know how potent
- 34:28Speaker 14: it is. Folks, go to my Instagram, go to my Twitter.
- 34:32Speaker 14: I've been posting videos, posting graphics of the things that
- 34:36Speaker 14: they want to do. And I'm telling you and listen.
- 34:40Speaker 7: By voices horse, but listen, that's all right.
- 34:43Speaker 14: They will they will in act Project tweeny twenty five
- 34:49Speaker 14: if they win. Donald Trump said in his speech in
- 34:52Speaker 14: the potational mention, I'm going to rehire Tom Holman, who
- 34:56Speaker 14: is that the author of Project twenty twenty five.
- 35:01Speaker 1: They are not playing day one.
- 35:03Speaker 8: This is gonna happen day one, days.
- 35:05Speaker 14: One, day one. It is the most dangerous political document
- 35:11Speaker 14: that I have ever seen since the days of Jim Crow.
- 35:17Speaker 1: You right there, yeah, yeah, yes, sir, yeah, we have.
- 35:25Speaker 2: We got to vote, though, we gotta vote numbers.
- 35:28Speaker 14: But but I don't just want to say we just
- 35:29Speaker 14: need to vote. First of all, before you can vote,
- 35:32Speaker 14: you have to register. That's important. So wherever you're listing,
- 35:38Speaker 14: check the registration dead last in your state. Remember, Republicans
- 35:42Speaker 14: in certain states are also throwing people off the rolls.
- 35:45Speaker 14: So double if you say I'm registered, double check your registration.
- 35:51Speaker 14: Make sure you have not been removed from the voting
- 35:54Speaker 14: roles because they've been doing that.
- 35:56Speaker 2: And the other thing is we're gonna were gonna take
- 35:58Speaker 2: a break, man, take a commercial. We're gonna come back.
- 36:00Speaker 2: We want to talk to you some more.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Man.
- 36:01Speaker 2: We'll be right back with more of the Steve Harvey
- 36:03Speaker 2: Morning Show with our special guests Roland Martin.
- 36:05Speaker 10: You're listening, Morning Show.
- 36:09Speaker 2: We are back. We are back when we left. We
- 36:10Speaker 2: have my man here, Roland Martin. We are talking politics.
- 36:13Speaker 2: We are talking president, We are talking what is next
- 36:16Speaker 2: for this country? Roland? The question I keep asking man,
- 36:20Speaker 2: how do we get the youth to get out and vote?
- 36:23Speaker 2: How do we get our young adults to get out
- 36:25Speaker 2: and vote?
- 36:25Speaker 6: What?
- 36:26Speaker 3: What is it?
- 36:26Speaker 2: Because that I don't think they're into it. I don't
- 36:28Speaker 2: think they care.
- 36:30Speaker 6: You're right.
- 36:30Speaker 14: I mean when you look at the voting stacks, people
- 36:32Speaker 14: who are sixty five and older vote the most out
- 36:35Speaker 14: of anybody can. As you go down in age demographics,
- 36:39Speaker 14: the number gets lower and lower. But this is this
- 36:43Speaker 14: is how we have to do it.
- 36:44Speaker 6: First, I don't care whether they're young, little age, or old.
- 36:47Speaker 14: We have to say, namely three things you care about,
- 36:51Speaker 14: and they name those three things. We have to explain
- 36:54Speaker 14: to them that the presidency, the House, and the Senate.
- 36:58Speaker 14: Governors stay reps, state senators, city council members, county commissioners,
- 37:03Speaker 14: school board members, judges, das, all of those people play
- 37:08Speaker 14: a critical role in whatever the three things they care about.
- 37:11Speaker 14: We have to then tell explain to them that when
- 37:14Speaker 14: you sit at home, that's actually a vote, so therefore
- 37:18Speaker 14: you're leaving your power at home. When Harold Washington became
- 37:23Speaker 14: the first black mayor of Chicago, say eighty five percent
- 37:28Speaker 14: of all eligible black voters voted.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Yes, yeh, folks.
- 37:34Speaker 14: We have to understand part of the problem that we're
- 37:37Speaker 14: seeing is for leaving our power at home. If we
- 37:41Speaker 14: hit in every city seventy percent of our numbers, we
- 37:46Speaker 14: use sweep elections twenty twenty two, fifty thousand fewer black
- 37:50Speaker 14: people voted in Milwaukee in twenty twenty. Had those fifty
- 37:56Speaker 14: thousand people voted in Milwaukee, Mandela Bonds of black man
- 38:00Speaker 14: will be the United States Senator and not Magie Ron
- 38:02Speaker 14: Johnson because he only lost by twenty six thousand votes.
- 38:06Speaker 14: We have to understand basic politics, and that is you
- 38:10Speaker 14: have to first have power to wield power, and you
- 38:15Speaker 14: cannot have power unless you turn out and vote. Now,
- 38:20Speaker 14: if somebody says, well, you know I got issues with
- 38:22Speaker 14: Cola Harris, Okay, fine, sit down and write the ten
- 38:26Speaker 14: things I care about and then say where does Kamala
- 38:29Speaker 14: Harris and where does Donald Trump come on those ten?
- 38:32Speaker 14: And it will have the most less that aligned with you,
- 38:36Speaker 14: and so you vote for. But we have got to
- 38:39Speaker 14: stop complaining about this issue.
- 38:42Speaker 6: This issue.
- 38:42Speaker 14: Have a young person say, man, I ain't voting because
- 38:46Speaker 14: it don't matter. But I'm going to protests. That means
- 38:48Speaker 14: you're just going for a walk in the park. You
- 38:51Speaker 14: cannot call for policy changes unless you change the politicians,
- 38:58Speaker 14: so we cannot check it out.
- 39:00Speaker 2: For the process.
- 39:01Speaker 14: We come this up five days a week on Rollandbardon
- 39:04Speaker 14: unfilch on the black Son.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Networks is real.
- 39:09Speaker 8: Thank you Roland, your insight.
- 39:14Speaker 1: All of that.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Thank you, Thank you Roland. You always got the knowledge
- 39:17Speaker 2: and wisdom.
- 39:18Speaker 6: Man.
- 39:18Speaker 2: I appreciate your stopping at I will vote dot com.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yep, we ain soon.
- 39:25Speaker 8: We're calling you back.
- 39:29Speaker 10: You're listening, Morning Show.
- 39:33Speaker 9: Vice President Kamala Harris is officially running for president of

- 40:49Speaker 2: I love it.
- 40:50Speaker 1: We were talking about it at the beginning of the show.
- 40:52Speaker 4: Tell me about the phone call with the black women
- 40:56Speaker 4: that was had on Sunday night and just energized. I
- 40:59Speaker 4: think they is energized right now. We're excited. Yeah, and
- 41:04Speaker 4: you see that, donors, celebrities, everyone is energized by VP
- 41:09Speaker 4: Harris as the Democratic Party nominee for president.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Come on, how does that sound sound?
- 41:20Speaker 2: Sound right?
- 41:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 41:22Speaker 9: And she's still got to win the nomination at the
- 41:25Speaker 9: Democratic Convention going down in August, but she's had so
- 41:29Speaker 9: much support. I think she's done what I didn't think
- 41:33Speaker 9: could be done, and that's bring the Democrats together for once.
- 41:38Speaker 8: Yah know, I feel party unity right now.
- 41:40Speaker 2: You know, with her three days ago, we looked like
- 41:43Speaker 2: a shipwrecked you.
- 41:44Speaker 8: Know what I'm saying. Yeah, we absolutely did.
- 41:48Speaker 9: Democratic Representative Jim Clydeborne of South Carolina also endorsed VP
- 41:53Speaker 9: Harris for president. Referring to Biden, he said, I echo
- 41:57Speaker 9: the good judgment he demonstrated and selecting VP Harris to
- 42:01Speaker 9: lead this nation alongside him, and I am proud to
- 42:04Speaker 9: follow his lead in support of her candidacy to succeed
- 42:08Speaker 9: him as a Democratic Party's twenty twenty four nominee for president,
- 42:12Speaker 9: Congresswoman Alexandria Ocassia Cortes pledge her full support to Vice
- 42:17Speaker 9: President Kamala Harris, and she posted this statement on social media.
- 42:20Speaker 8: She said, now more than.
- 42:21Speaker 9: Ever, it is crucial that our party and country swiftly
- 42:26Speaker 9: unite to defeat Donald Trump and the threat to American democracy.
- 42:30Speaker 2: End quote, there we go. You know what I want
- 42:32Speaker 2: to see?
- 42:32Speaker 3: Now? What?
- 42:34Speaker 6: Now?
- 42:34Speaker 2: I want to see a debate? That's what I want.
- 42:36Speaker 8: Oh between yeah, oh, between the prosecutor, because.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Who assure you?
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah? Oh?
- 42:42Speaker 2: I can sure you you not ready to debate this, sister,

- 43:03Speaker 9: your address so you can find you a new polling place.
- 43:06Speaker 9: It's still a lot of work to be done in
- 43:08Speaker 9: a very short period of time, but we can do it.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Though.
- 43:11Speaker 1: We can do it, especially for you're a first time voter.
- 43:14Speaker 4: You know, Tommy, you talked about this earlier in the
- 43:16Speaker 4: interview with Roland Martin, talking about energizing the youth and
- 43:20Speaker 4: getting out to the polls.
- 43:23Speaker 2: And it was funny.
- 43:24Speaker 4: I was having a conversation with a young person who
- 43:26Speaker 4: is old enough to vote, and you know.
- 43:28Speaker 3: What he said.
- 43:29Speaker 4: He said, well, you know, we don't vote because you
- 43:31Speaker 4: know before we didn't like either candidate. And I was like,
- 43:34Speaker 4: that's some reason not to vote. Do you know what
- 43:37Speaker 4: we have been dealing for your vote?
- 43:41Speaker 3: Yes?
- 43:42Speaker 8: Yes, eire live.

- 43:57Speaker 4: you know, so we got work to.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Do, y'all show what amount of time? We got a
- 44:01Speaker 1: lot of work to do.
- 44:02Speaker 9: Wrong way to go in a small way to get there,
- 44:05Speaker 9: short way to get there. That's what my faster used
- 44:07Speaker 9: to say all the time, well before he started sermon. Okay,
- 44:10Speaker 9: let's get it. I got a long way to go
- 44:12Speaker 9: in a short period of time.
- 44:14Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 44:15Speaker 2: But it looks a little brighter. I'm feeling a lot
- 44:18Speaker 2: brighter right now.

- 45:12Speaker 2: But what also goes down in the breakroom. A lot

- 46:36Speaker 2: that you the person on on Tuesday, on Tuesday, all right,

- 54:20Speaker 9: She posted a picture of my gifts. She posted a
- 54:24Speaker 9: picture of my gifts. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a thirty
- 54:27Speaker 9: three year old single woman and I've been in a
- 54:29Speaker 9: long distance relationship for the past eight months. He pursued me,
- 54:34Speaker 9: and he claimed that he didn't care about the distance
- 54:36Speaker 9: because it was love at first.
- 54:38Speaker 8: Sight for him.
- 54:39Speaker 9: I had strong feelings for him once I got to
- 54:41Speaker 9: know him, but something was keeping me from him, from
- 54:45Speaker 9: falling head over heels in love with him. He said
- 54:48Speaker 9: it was hard to get me to soften up and
- 54:50Speaker 9: let my guard down. So I did something that I
- 54:53Speaker 9: usually would never do. I drove two hours to surprise
- 54:57Speaker 9: him last week. I snuck in the gate at his
- 54:59Speaker 9: cop complex and I was sitting in my car in
- 55:02Speaker 9: a skin tight dress when he got home from work.
- 55:05Speaker 9: I already made sure he didn't have plans that night.
- 55:08Speaker 9: I went to a restaurant by his place and had
- 55:11Speaker 9: a big charcuterie board made for him, and I got
- 55:14Speaker 9: expensive champagne and expensive chocolates. He was very surprised to
- 55:18Speaker 9: see me, but not in a good way. He complained
- 55:21Speaker 9: that his house was nasty and said he didn't want
- 55:24Speaker 9: me to see him without a haircut. When he finally
- 55:27Speaker 9: went inside, he asked me to sit in the kitchen
- 55:30Speaker 9: for a while so he could clean up. After an
- 55:33Speaker 9: hour of waiting alone, I put the cheese and champagne
- 55:36Speaker 9: in the fridge, and I left quietly without telling him.
- 55:40Speaker 9: I drove two hours back home, disappointed and sad, but
- 55:44Speaker 9: glad that I kept my guard up with him. He
- 55:47Speaker 9: called me seventeen times that night, but I ignored him
- 55:51Speaker 9: because I was done with him after that. The next night,
- 55:55Speaker 9: his ex girlfriend posted a picture of the gifts that
- 55:58Speaker 9: I bought, and she tagged him in the picture, like
- 56:00Speaker 9: he bought this stuff. I want her to know that
- 56:03Speaker 9: he didn't buy that for her I did. I am
- 56:06Speaker 9: ready to expose him. Should I tell his ex?
- 56:09Speaker 8: How do I get revenge on him? Okay, listen.
- 56:14Speaker 9: By leaving him after being in that kitchen for an
- 56:17Speaker 9: hour and being done with him, like you said, that's
- 56:20Speaker 9: really all the revenge you need. You made the right decision.
- 56:24Speaker 9: You trusted your instincts by not going all in with him.
- 56:28Speaker 9: You said something was keeping you from falling ahead over
- 56:30Speaker 9: heels in love with him, so you trusted your instincts.
- 56:33Speaker 9: You didn't do like a whole lot of other women
- 56:35Speaker 9: and ignore the red flags you saw them early on.
- 56:39Speaker 9: That's major women stay in relationships way too long because
- 56:42Speaker 9: they ignored those signs, the very obvious red red flags.
- 56:46Speaker 9: Because You know, we always think we can change a man.
- 56:49Speaker 9: We talk a lot about this on this show, about
- 56:51Speaker 9: that on this show, and we just end up getting hurt.
- 56:54Speaker 9: So if you're over it, be over it. That means
- 56:58Speaker 9: leaving him, leaving her to post all of that on
- 57:01Speaker 9: social media, all that, let it go.
- 57:03Speaker 8: Who cares if she knows you bought the stuff? Who
- 57:05Speaker 8: cares if you expose him? That's like backtracking on a
- 57:09Speaker 8: man you said yourself you were done with, So prove it.
- 57:12Speaker 9: Be done with him. Keep your word, and I'll say
- 57:14Speaker 9: it again, be done with him, Tommy.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Don't nobody won't. No damn charcoutie reboard. Ain't about all
- 57:25Speaker 2: this cheese. You just stopping that man up. He don't
- 57:27Speaker 2: want all this cheese, all the meats you just backed up,
- 57:31Speaker 2: all all this backed up food. You got chocolate and
- 57:35Speaker 2: chocolate and cheese and these little meats that ain't cooked.
- 57:39Speaker 2: And you just do you think you're doing something that
- 57:42Speaker 2: none nobody want all that you got this man all
- 57:44Speaker 2: backed up. That man want a housekeeper. You see his
- 57:47Speaker 2: house is nasty. That man needs somebody to clean up
- 57:50Speaker 2: around there. And here you is coming up there with
- 57:52Speaker 2: more food. We don't need all that we need somebody
- 57:55Speaker 2: to clean up. We need a house keeper. And so
- 57:58Speaker 2: if you want to help out, fine, if you don't,
- 58:01Speaker 2: let's get to the part that you want. You say
- 58:03Speaker 2: you want revenge, Well you come to the right place
- 58:07Speaker 2: because I am petty. I am petty, and I am
- 58:10Speaker 2: the man that can help you get through it. So
- 58:13Speaker 2: that's what I want you to do. You know, he
- 58:15Speaker 2: calls seventeen times trying to get things, trying to work
- 58:17Speaker 2: things out. You didn't pick up the phone. You really
- 58:19Speaker 2: threw with him, but you mad because he donet gave
- 58:21Speaker 2: the stuff to his eggs and now she posting it
- 58:25Speaker 2: like he didn't done something special for her. Get back
- 58:28Speaker 2: in his life for just a few days. That's what
- 58:30Speaker 2: I want you to do. Okay, get back in his
- 58:32Speaker 2: life for a few days. Get things going real. Well.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Soon as you get things going real well, I want
- 58:38Speaker 2: you to order bout five pounds of shrimp. Okay. I
- 58:42Speaker 2: want you to take his curtain rod down and put
- 58:45Speaker 2: that raw shrimp in the curtain rods and then put
- 58:48Speaker 2: the cap back on that curtain rod. Put that curtain
- 58:50Speaker 2: back up. Don't you understand saying we work it on something? Now,
- 58:53Speaker 2: I want you to put that. I ain't lying to you.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I want you to know. This is what the next
- 58:56Speaker 2: thing I want you to do. I want you to
- 58:58Speaker 2: find some poison I okay, put that all in his drawer,
- 59:03Speaker 2: away his underwear, all up in there. We want to
- 59:06Speaker 2: put that. Put that, Parson, if you want revenge, don't
- 59:10Speaker 2: you put that. Put put that poison ive in all
- 59:13Speaker 2: up in there, all up in there. Now here go
- 59:15Speaker 2: My next thing I want you to do. Find his
- 59:17Speaker 2: shampoo bottle. Okay, find his shampoo bottle. I want you
- 59:21Speaker 2: to put bleach blonde in there. Bleach blonde inside that
- 59:25Speaker 2: shampoo bottle. That's what I want you to do. Now
- 59:27Speaker 2: Here go the last one. This the that's the big one.
- 59:30Speaker 2: All the doors to his car. I want you to
- 59:34Speaker 2: buy that thing. You see the commercials all the time.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Flex seal that flex here. You know it'll hold everything down.
- 59:39Speaker 2: I want you to flex seal every door shut except
- 59:44Speaker 2: the hatch, like if he got a truck. So the
- 59:47Speaker 2: only way he can get in is through the hatch.
- 59:49Speaker 2: You understand what I'm saying. So so when we see him,
- 59:51Speaker 2: baby girl, this is what we want to see. He
- 59:53Speaker 2: gonna be smelling like shrimp. He gonna be scratching. He
- 59:57Speaker 2: gonna be scratching because he's got that parson ivey in
- 59:59Speaker 2: his drawer. And then Lands would not leave. He gonn
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: we walk around with the bleach blonde half. You understand
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: what I'm saying now, that's how you get rabine. You
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: want to be petty, Tommy will help you be hetty.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: And what I want you to do when you see
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: him show up with your chocouteric border, eat your cheese
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: and meat right in front of him, girl, and drink
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: your champagne. She can say, Baby, you don't play me
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: the way you played me. You get the revenge at
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: the end. That's Tommy will help you get that. And
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: trust me, that whole house gonna be smitty like shrimp.
- 1:00:29Speaker 9: All right, we'll hear from Junior and hear more of
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: our responses to today's Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:36Speaker 9: after the.
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: Subject she posted a picture of my gifts. We'll get
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: back into it right after this.
- 1:00:42Speaker 10: You're listening hard Morning show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: All right, guys, it's time to recapture today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:48Speaker 9: The subject she posted a picture of my gifts. This
- 1:00:51Speaker 9: is written from a woman who's thirty three years old.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: She's single. She's been in a long distance relationship with
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: a guy for the past eight months. He lives two
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: hours from her. She said he pursued her. It was
- 1:01:04Speaker 9: love at first sight. She wasn't head over heels in
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: love with him because just something was keeping her from that.
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: She didn't know what it was, but something was keeping
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: her from that. He told her it was hard because
- 1:01:18Speaker 9: she had her guard up, so, you know, she tried
- 1:01:20Speaker 9: to She tried to soften herself up a little bit.
- 1:01:23Speaker 9: She drove two hours to surprise him. She snuck in
- 1:01:26Speaker 9: his gate at his complex. She had a charcuterie board,
- 1:01:30Speaker 9: she had some cheese, some champagne. She had on a
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: skin tight dress. She knew he didn't have anything to
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: do that night, so she was at his house when
- 1:01:39Speaker 9: he got home from work. He was surprised to see her,
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: she said, but it wasn't a good surprise, not in
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: a good way. So he asked her to come inside
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: and sit in the kitchen because his house was nasty
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: and he wanted to clean up. She said she sat
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: in that kitchen for a whole hour. After that, she left,
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: and she said she was done with him. Then she
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: looked on social media, and some woman had posted the
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: gifts she brought for him on social media, thinking he
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: brought her though he bought her the gifts for her,
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: and she wants to expose him. This woman wants revenge,
- 1:02:12Speaker 9: so she wants to know should she tell his ex
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: and how does she.
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: Get revenge on him?
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: I said, leave him, be done with him, like you said,
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: Tommy said, put some shrimp in the shower rod, put
- 1:02:25Speaker 9: some poison ivy in his underwear, and put some flex
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: seal on his car doors.
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: Okay, in the shampoo bottle. We got to have that
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: bleach blown. You got to have that beech blood.
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: That's how you get revenge, Junior, what you got?
- 1:02:38Speaker 7: Well, I guess I gotta go with Sherley in tom
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: because I don't know how to get revenge on cheese
- 1:02:43Speaker 7: and crackers.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: I do not know.
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: I have no idea how we come back on cheese
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: and crackers. You know what the crazy part about this,
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: he is Carling. That's not the issue.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I need to know how you set it in there.
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: It ate the cheese and crackers in the NaSTA house.
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: That's what I need to know.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: How you just there just putting cheese.
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: And crackers and meat on top of a cracker and
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: you just bite it and don't say nothing about the shirt,
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: the shoes, the filts, the dishes in the sink, the
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: ring and the bathroom tub. You don't say nothing by
- 1:03:12Speaker 7: none of this. And you got to sit in the kitchen.
- 1:03:15Speaker 7: You're supposed to eat this in your own car. You're
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: supposed to just leave, That's why. And then how you
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: gonna overlook the lady that's eating your cheese and crackers.
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: She is not the ex she is currently doing.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: This is current the currant. That's what this is now.
- 1:03:34Speaker 7: And the chardy told you, hey, go ahead and do
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: what you said you was gonna do. You said you're
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: gonna leave the man, Yeah, you didn't want him. Let
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: him have that cheese and crackers and that cheap bottle champagne.
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: You don't even care.
- 1:03:48Speaker 8: You said expensive champagne and chocolates though she said that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: When have you seen expensive champagne in a nasty house?
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: When when have you seen that that? Don't go to
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: none of that, man. I'm telling you, I go to
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: Tommy house. Tommy got all kinds of great stuff. But
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: Tommy house ain't nasty even see that. It fit got
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: great stuff at the house. But the house ain't nasty either.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: Shirley got great stuff, Mom got grace of that. But
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: the house ain't nasty. You said, there bit this food
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: off this security board.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Because I can't even say it.
- 1:04:23Speaker 7: I can't even say it, that's all. And sat there
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: in the nasty house to living room.
- 1:04:31Speaker 8: For an hour, for a whole hour.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: What's it called the tutor to the tutoring thing?
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: Spell it?
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: Spell it C H C A T or.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: The report. May y'all know what this is?
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: I ain't never had one. I ain't never had one.
- 1:04:47Speaker 7: All mine was hog head cheese on the cracker, That's
- 1:04:50Speaker 7: all I know. I ain't seen this before the fact.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: You call sit yet, you can sit yet.
- 1:04:56Speaker 8: But Junior he called her seventeen times.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: What he won?
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: What was he trying to tell her?
- 1:05:01Speaker 10: What did he want?
- 1:05:02Speaker 7: I would say he called her to try to come back.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: He just finished cleaning the god dog on house. That's

- 1:22:21Speaker 9: It is our last break of the day. We want
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: to say thank you to Roland Martin too, and we'll
- 1:22:26Speaker 9: last at the show right after that.
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: You're listening.
- 1:22:31Speaker 10: Morning show.
- 1:22:32Speaker 8: All right, guys, here we are last break of.
- 1:22:34Speaker 9: The day on this Tuesday. Wow, this day with my
- 1:22:37Speaker 9: pretty quick for us. Huh yep, thank you for listening.
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Good day. Yeah. I'm kind of all over the place
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: a little bit. One of the things.
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: I want to do in my clothing this because I
- 1:22:55Speaker 5: was on i G the other day, this white minister
- 1:22:59Speaker 5: came or I have no idea what his name was,
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: but he was talking about prayer. It was really really
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: important what he said. It really struck a nerve with me.
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: He said, when most people pray, eighty percent of their
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: prayers are based on needs, you know, a need for healing,
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: a need for financial assurance, a need for help or
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: need for reassurance, a need. And he says that he
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: wasn't judging that that's important. He say, but when you
- 1:23:36Speaker 5: constantly go to God with your needs, which he wants
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: you to do, and that's all you do, you remove
- 1:23:45Speaker 5: an important element he said, if you would turn your
- 1:23:50Speaker 5: prayer around and make eighty percent of your prayer about
- 1:23:54Speaker 5: gratitude and then twenty percent for what you need, because
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: you do need prayer to help you with life challenges
- 1:24:02Speaker 5: and set backs and life's decisions even but he was saying,
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: when you spend eighty percent of that based on that,
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: you remove so much gratitude from it that you don't
- 1:24:16Speaker 5: allow for your mindset to be accepting of God's will
- 1:24:22Speaker 5: and what He's done for you. That's I'm paraphrasing what
- 1:24:25Speaker 5: he said. That helped me understand it, and I was
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: thinking about it, and I thought about how true that
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: was because oftentimes when we pray, and I know I'm
- 1:24:33Speaker 5: guilty of it myself, I spend a lot of time
- 1:24:36Speaker 5: in my prayer telling God what I want and what
- 1:24:39Speaker 5: I need, and I mean in terms of understanding his presence,
- 1:24:45Speaker 5: you know, decisions I got to make, you know, goals
- 1:24:48Speaker 5: and aspirations I'm trying to reach. And I always open
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: my prayers with gratitude, but I don't I may not
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: be spending enough time with the gratitude. The aspect of
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: it is what I'm my takeaway with what this guy
- 1:25:03Speaker 5: was saying and I just wanted to offer that to
- 1:25:05Speaker 5: you all as a thought to start thinking about spending
- 1:25:10Speaker 5: more time in whichever way you pray, with being more
- 1:25:14Speaker 5: grateful for what you have. Because I've said this a
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: million times. The more grateful you are, the more grateful,
- 1:25:20Speaker 5: the more grateful you are, the more things God will
- 1:25:23Speaker 5: give you to be grateful for. That's a true thing.
- 1:25:26Speaker 5: So it's just a thought starter, just for people to
- 1:25:28Speaker 5: think about in terms of praying. Don't forget the gratitude
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: aspect of it. Don't forget to spend a large portion
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: of what you're praying about, you know, to be in
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: terms of gratitude. It just makes a lot of sense.
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: I have so many things to be grateful for, and
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: I don't think I spend enough time talking to Him
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: about all those things. So I just wanted to share
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: that with you all this morning, just something for you
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: to might want to think about. That may work for you,
- 1:25:58Speaker 5: that may not work for you, because I do understand
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: the need factor, especially when you need so many things
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: that I don't know who else to ask for for.
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: So I'm kind of taking what he said and understanding
- 1:26:11Speaker 5: too that there is a great need that you should
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: go to him for everything, but I just think that
- 1:26:17Speaker 5: to be a little bit more of a balance with
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: the gratitude aspect of it. I just want to share that.
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: Those are my closing remarks, so you feel me, everybody, team, Absolutely.
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: I totally agree, man, Yeah, because I think.
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: We all do that.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: So pray for what we want, you know. And I
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: like what you said about the gratitude.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I know I do.
- 1:26:40Speaker 5: I do a lot me too, but I always open
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: my prayer with gratitude. I always thinking first. But I'm
- 1:26:47Speaker 5: finding that I may not be doing it enough on
- 1:26:50Speaker 5: the gratitude side because He also knows what you need.
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: What I stopped doing, though, was keep asking for the
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: same thing over and over, repeatedly, repeatedly, repeat, repeat it
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: because I thank God hurt me and I think he's
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: sending the blessing if I just had to stay in
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: peace and patience now wait on to see what he's
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: got to do.
- 1:27:12Speaker 8: Keep your faith strong.
- 1:27:16Speaker 10: Yeah, great message.
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: Because because it's plenty to pray about on a daily basis,
- 1:27:24Speaker 5: you ain't gonna run out.
- 1:27:29Speaker 8: And that's how we communicate with God through prayer.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: Yeah, mine open. Well, y'all have a great day. We'll
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: see y'all. The mom hanging strong over here. Y'all be good,
