- 1:44Speaker 1: turn out. Then turn the water the water go. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby daddy. Uh huh, I sure will
- 2:03Speaker 1: A good morning everybody. Y'are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Well, nothing changes about that, Nothing changes
- 2:15Speaker 1: about that. Man. I was just so getting ready to
- 2:20Speaker 1: come on to air this morning. I was just thinking, man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was just having a reflective moment of just how
- 2:28Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. I just it's
- 2:33Speaker 1: it's it's man. Let me just say that again, how
- 2:37Speaker 1: really good God has been to me. And here's a
- 2:42Speaker 1: cold part. In spite of myself, you understand, in spite
- 2:47Speaker 1: of all my shortcomings, in spite of all of my flaws,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and and and and in spite of all of what
- 2:56Speaker 1: anybody has said about me, God, through his grace and
- 3:01Speaker 1: mercy just keeps me anyway. So many of us are
- 3:06Speaker 1: exceptional people, but we refuse to just go ahead and
- 3:13Speaker 1: be exceptional. We settle for the ordinary. We follow the pack.
- 3:22Speaker 1: We try to fit in. Man, oh man, oh man.
- 3:25Speaker 1: You know I've heard my wife say this to my
- 3:28Speaker 1: children all the time. When she's scolding talking to him.
- 3:31Speaker 1: She'd be talking to him about leadership. You know, why
- 3:34Speaker 1: are you following everybody when God clearly made you to lead.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So many of us are born, and so many of
- 3:40Speaker 1: you are born to be exceptional people, but we always
- 3:45Speaker 1: trying to follow the pack. Why would you try to
- 3:49Speaker 1: fit in? Why would you try to be like everybody else,
- 3:55Speaker 1: be ordinary? Why would you follow the pack when God
- 3:59Speaker 1: has created you to be exceptional? The key word in
- 4:03Speaker 1: exceptional is accept you. You ever done this right here?
- 4:08Speaker 1: You know? Everybody did that accept me. Everybody felt that
- 4:12Speaker 1: way except me. Everybody said that except me. Everybody won't
- 4:20Speaker 1: wanted that. Accept me. Everybody went over that except me.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Everybody jumped in except me. Accept me. See why have
- 4:32Speaker 1: you saying that in your life? If you were not
- 4:34Speaker 1: to be exceptional? See, you got to say everybody accept me.
- 4:39Speaker 1: At one point in you're to I don't know who
- 4:41Speaker 1: ain't done it. You know everybody wanted, everybody voted no
- 4:45Speaker 1: except me, see it? So you're not You're not created
- 4:50Speaker 1: to follow the pack. You ain't created to fit in.
- 4:53Speaker 1: You ain't created to, oh, you know, to be ordinary.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You will created to be exceptional, as exceptional as your
- 5:02Speaker 1: fingerprint on your finger is. You were created to be exceptional.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Why not make this the year that you go ahead
- 5:10Speaker 1: on and be exceptional? Why won't this be the year
- 5:14Speaker 1: that you decide in your mind? But just has to
- 5:17Speaker 1: be a decision that we make. Now, we're not following
- 5:20Speaker 1: the pack no more. We're not trying to fit in
- 5:23Speaker 1: no more. We ain't settling for ordinary no more. We're
- 5:26Speaker 1: gonna be exceptional. But you know, you got you got
- 5:30Speaker 1: to go ahead and follow that. You got to get
- 5:32Speaker 1: on the exceptional path, because that's what you were created for.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Why be ordinary? You know? But all of this this
- 5:39Speaker 1: comes to it has to start with a thought. You
- 5:42Speaker 1: got to first think something thought to become things. A
- 5:47Speaker 1: man is as he thinketh that's all you will ever be.
- 5:52Speaker 1: So what are your thoughts today? Why not have exceptional
- 5:55Speaker 1: thoughts instead of ordinary thoughts? Why not have exceptional thoughts
- 5:59Speaker 1: instead to fit knee in thoughts. So why you want
- 6:02Speaker 1: to be like everybody else? Why you want to be
- 6:04Speaker 1: ordinary when you could possibly be extraordinary with a change
- 6:09Speaker 1: of your mind, a change of your venue, and you
- 6:12Speaker 1: don't have to be any other kind of way just
- 6:15Speaker 1: because my mama was this way, my daddy was this way,
- 6:18Speaker 1: or this the school I went to? This? What race
- 6:21Speaker 1: I belong to? This is my sexual preference, this is
- 6:24Speaker 1: my this, this is my dadd Why? How many? How many?
- 6:26Speaker 1: How many excuses you need? I'm an excuse? What? What? What? What? You?
- 6:31Speaker 1: What's it gonna be this year that we let another
- 6:34Speaker 1: three hundred and sixty five days slip by without improving
- 6:38Speaker 1: our condition, our place, our spot, our life, the quality
- 6:43Speaker 1: of life we have. We cannot afford to keep letting
- 6:48Speaker 1: all these years go by without changing. You're an exceptional person.
- 6:55Speaker 1: How many times have you set up and said, everybody
- 6:58Speaker 1: did that? Accept me? You know I was only everybody
- 7:02Speaker 1: jumped in accept me. I told him I knew it.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that, accept me. And now look at it, man,
- 7:11Speaker 1: it seemed like everybody went that way, accept me. Okay,
- 7:17Speaker 1: do you get it? Do you understand what's being said
- 7:21Speaker 1: to you that don't accept me is because couldn't it
- 7:25Speaker 1: be because you're an exceptional person, and it's time for
- 7:28Speaker 1: you to take control of that. It's time for you
- 7:31Speaker 1: to start thinking different. It's time for you to start
- 7:33Speaker 1: acting on what you think. It's time for you to
- 7:36Speaker 1: start doing something about it. It's time for you to
- 7:39Speaker 1: stop taking each and every day that God gives us
- 7:41Speaker 1: for granted and letting them go by the wayside, like
- 7:44Speaker 1: you got plenty more. Well, you may have plenty more,
- 7:47Speaker 1: but guess what what you're wasting the ones you got
- 7:50Speaker 1: for I got you young, and you and you feel
- 7:54Speaker 1: like you're gonna live forever. Da Okay, cool, But let
- 7:57Speaker 1: me ask you something. See here here here the part
- 8:00Speaker 1: about pose you do live? See see everybody willing about dying.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But I got news for you. Suppose you keep on living.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You want to keep living in the condition you in now.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the money you got now.
- 8:13Speaker 1: You want to keep living with the relationship you got now.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You want to keep living by yourself like you are now.
- 8:19Speaker 1: You want to keep wanting the right relationship, the right man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: the the right woman, but you keep getting the wrong one.
- 8:24Speaker 1: You want to keep doing that for the rest of
- 8:26Speaker 1: your life. Problem ain't dying. It's problem is if you
- 8:28Speaker 1: keep on living. Who wants to keep on living just
- 8:32Speaker 1: the way they are right now? And if you can
- 8:35Speaker 1: say I'm cool, what I am, just the way I
- 8:36Speaker 1: am right now? In cool, this conversation ain't for you.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with that. You know you
- 8:42Speaker 1: wanna say greatness ain't for everybody being exceptional, ain't for
- 8:47Speaker 1: everybody becoming extraordinary. It ain't fun everybody. Heck, becoming successful
- 8:52Speaker 1: ain't fun everybody. I got it. And you can come
- 8:55Speaker 1: up with a way to justify your non existence in
- 8:58Speaker 1: your ordinary life all you want, and that's fine and dandy.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with it. Because some people
- 9:04Speaker 1: just gonna be regular. Some people just gonna follow the pack,
- 9:08Speaker 1: follow the crowd. Some people just wants to fit in.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But if you're not that person, if you want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: be extraordinary, if you want to be exceptional, if you
- 9:18Speaker 1: want to be if you want to dare to be
- 9:20Speaker 1: great at something, and you got to change your mind set.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You got to get with your creating, find out what
- 9:25Speaker 1: he created you fault. You gotta quit thinking of things
- 9:28Speaker 1: just in your own thought process. You know, lean not
- 9:32Speaker 1: to your own understanding. I don't know what that is,
- 9:34Speaker 1: but it's in there somewhere. Seeing once you lean, if
- 9:37Speaker 1: you lean to your own understanding, you know what it's
- 9:39Speaker 1: gonna do. It's gonna limit you. Man, it's gonna limit you.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Why not see what God got for you. I would
- 9:46Speaker 1: rather know what God got for me than to think
- 9:48Speaker 1: of all the things I could because I can't out
- 9:51Speaker 1: think him out and tried it before. All right, it's
- 9:53Speaker 1: just the beginning. We're gonna have a good one. Man.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening tow ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
- 10:06Speaker 1: twenty twenty two is here. What's more amazing about twenty
- 10:13Speaker 1: twenty two being here is that we are here with it.
- 10:18Speaker 1: That's the real blessing right there. Oh my goodness. Now,
- 10:23Speaker 1: listen to me. Set aside for just a moment some
- 10:28Speaker 1: of the anglish and pain you may have felt in
- 10:30Speaker 1: twenty twenty one, and realize the blessing that you have
- 10:34Speaker 1: been given, this wonderful gift called twenty twenty two. See
- 10:39Speaker 1: a lot of people gonna miss their blessing worrying about
- 10:44Speaker 1: something that happened that they have no control over. I
- 10:48Speaker 1: got some bad things happened in twenty twenty one, but
- 10:51Speaker 1: can you not see the blessing and being here for
- 10:53Speaker 1: twenty twenty two? I do, I do. This is just
- 11:00Speaker 1: Steve Harved Morning Show full of grateful people for making
- 11:03Speaker 1: it into twenty twenty two. I am the feelings leadable.

- 11:22Speaker 1: a new year. We're doing a new thing. God is
- 11:25Speaker 1: doing a new thing. Man, get about the things of
- 11:29Speaker 1: the pass. Don't you see it happening. It's even happening
- 11:31Speaker 1: right now. That's my new favorite scripture that's in Isaiah.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Now exactly where it is, don't Isaiah. Let me take
- 11:42Speaker 1: a shot at this Isaiah forty three on eighteen nineteen. Right, Oh, praise,
- 11:53Speaker 1: praise you. Yeah. I'll been deep into scriptures on my
- 11:56Speaker 1: break right here, because I decided I was gonna pray
- 11:59Speaker 1: my way in the twenty twenty so I'm gonna change
- 12:00Speaker 1: something about twenty twenty two. I'm gonna be closer to God.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I don't care what else I do. I'm gonna get
- 12:06Speaker 1: closer to the Lord in twenty twenty two. What's up everybody, y'all? Yeah,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you live a different lonely lifestyle. You be lonely for real.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You're in a little apartment. You quarantine, you got pre
- 12:24Speaker 1: existing conditions. You can't you're scared of omchrome delf O
- 12:32Speaker 1: Marion saying with Bete, Right, but that's what they call
- 12:36Speaker 1: the Oh that's the very blad people we rename. Ever.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I am not a variance. Okay. No, you are so
- 12:50Speaker 1: happy to be here, man, so grateful. Had a great
- 12:53Speaker 1: break today. It's what today to you? Yes? Oh what? Yes? What? Yeah?

- 13:49Speaker 1: is time to start up Morning Off. We'll run that
- 13:52Speaker 1: prank back from the nephew. What you got for is
- 13:54Speaker 1: nef weed in the church band, queed in the church.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Beings never change in the new year. What you want
- 14:05Speaker 1: to change? Let's go catch doc. Hello, I'm trying to
- 14:17Speaker 1: reach Dann brother, Brother Dan Dan. Hello, Hello on them,
- 14:20Speaker 1: because I'll see that I'm trying to read brother Dare
- 14:25Speaker 1: brother Dan. Oh, okay, yeah, this brother Scott from the
- 14:29Speaker 1: Church and Belt the Baptist. Hello. Brother, Yeah, I call you.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I'm trying to get a little information about the church band.
- 14:37Speaker 1: What's what's your schedule? Uh uh? Will you drive the church?
- 14:40Speaker 1: And what's what's your schedule? I drive it Wednesday, Fridays
- 14:45Speaker 1: and Sundays. Okay, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, now Sunday. What what
- 14:52Speaker 1: is that schedule? Oh, Sunday. I usually start about eight
- 14:56Speaker 1: o'clock in the morning, probably a little earlier, depending on
- 15:00Speaker 1: some of the elderly people that I had to go
- 15:01Speaker 1: pick up and bring to the church. Make sure they
- 15:04Speaker 1: get there okay, and get situated and make sure they're
- 15:08Speaker 1: on time for the service and whatnot. Okay, and then
- 15:11Speaker 1: you take them back home after service is over. Yes,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I try to get all of them back home, unless
- 15:17Speaker 1: they got family members or something that come up there
- 15:19Speaker 1: and meet them up there and want to take them
- 15:20Speaker 1: to Jena or something afterwards. But I usual to get
- 15:22Speaker 1: everybody back home. Okay, Okay. Now this class Sunday, which
- 15:29Speaker 1: is part of the reason why I'm calling me. They
- 15:32Speaker 1: saying that some of the church uh members that was
- 15:36Speaker 1: on the band this Sunday, they are complaining, saying that
- 15:42Speaker 1: um that the church vand was spending like weed when
- 15:45Speaker 1: they got on there. Excuse me, they say the church
- 15:49Speaker 1: van was spending like weed when they got on there.
- 15:53Speaker 1: And you are the person that was driving them. Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 15:57Speaker 1: no no no, not not the van that I'm driving.
- 15:59Speaker 1: I'm so I don't No, I don't. I ain't smoke weed,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and no van, do you smoke weed? No? I don't
- 16:08Speaker 1: smoke weed. I mean not carry I mean I have before,
- 16:11Speaker 1: but I don't smoke weed now and I wouldn't smoke
- 16:14Speaker 1: weed before. Picking Some people love to go to now
- 16:19Speaker 1: where you carry it from who told you this? Well,
- 16:22Speaker 1: all I knew is what what? What's coming down? The
- 16:24Speaker 1: pipeline is? They saying that a couple of them members
- 16:27Speaker 1: came complaining, See this just happened last week about this pipeline.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I want to know who the pipeline is because just
- 16:35Speaker 1: last week they came and me talking about that I
- 16:38Speaker 1: was using the van to go places that I wanted
- 16:40Speaker 1: to go to on my personal time. Now I don't
- 16:42Speaker 1: do that. I don't do stuff like that. And now
- 16:44Speaker 1: I have had a path, I don't had a history,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but I don't do stuff like that, and I wouldn't
- 16:48Speaker 1: smoke no church fan. So are you seriously talking? What? What? What? What?
- 16:53Speaker 1: We're trying to We're trying to get to the bottom
- 16:55Speaker 1: of it and see what's going on with you? And said,
- 17:00Speaker 1: do you know which one they loved me? Every Sunday
- 17:04Speaker 1: then people tell me they loved me. They say I'm
- 17:06Speaker 1: one of the most respectful young gentlemen they've ever met
- 17:09Speaker 1: in their life. And so I really find it hard
- 17:11Speaker 1: to believe that you you you getting these type of
- 17:13Speaker 1: complaints about me. Okay, what I'm saying spell like who
- 17:17Speaker 1: we I don't know what that means? Or nothing like that. Look, brothers,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I don't know you too well, and I know you
- 17:23Speaker 1: don't know leave, but I've been driving this vans as
- 17:26Speaker 1: a point to try to change my life and where
- 17:28Speaker 1: I come from. So this was was something that I
- 17:31Speaker 1: wanted to volunteer even though I'm getting paid to give
- 17:33Speaker 1: my time to do this for the church. And now
- 17:36Speaker 1: this is like the second instance where y'all and came
- 17:38Speaker 1: at me on some stuff about like I'm trying to
- 17:40Speaker 1: do something with this van. Now, why would I disrespect
- 17:43Speaker 1: the church van by smoking weed in it and then
- 17:45Speaker 1: letting the weeds stay in There's so other people could
- 17:47Speaker 1: spell it. Okay, so let me tell you what we're
- 17:50Speaker 1: gonna do. We're gonna go out here to the church.
- 17:52Speaker 1: They had to say, We're gonna go out here to
- 17:55Speaker 1: day and open it up. Like if we see any
- 17:57Speaker 1: seeds or anything around the driver seat, then then then
- 18:02Speaker 1: we're gonna We're gonna definitely, uh point, gonna open the
- 18:05Speaker 1: van up. Man. I was raising that church. Man, My
- 18:08Speaker 1: mamma go to that church, my grandma, see you go
- 18:11Speaker 1: to that church. See the reason we even all left
- 18:13Speaker 1: that church. And you think I'm gonna mess up They
- 18:15Speaker 1: ain't by driving around in the band full of elderly
- 18:17Speaker 1: people smoking and we need blood. Dad, I don't know
- 18:23Speaker 1: how to shut the band smell like weed, man, now
- 18:26Speaker 1: I don't. I don't got the answer to these questions.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I'm just trying to tell you that it wasn't me.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Did you ask some weed in your part? I can't
- 18:32Speaker 1: admitted with just smelling. I ain't had no weed on me.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Stop trying to say like I had weed on the
- 18:37Speaker 1: and you ain't gonna get me nothing that I ain't
- 18:39Speaker 1: had no and we ain't had no weed on me. Okay, Now,
- 18:41Speaker 1: you ain't gonna mess up my name or my family's
- 18:43Speaker 1: name in this church and disrespect us like this. Now,
- 18:46Speaker 1: We've been helping this church for years, and I'm trying
- 18:49Speaker 1: to tell you that I ain't riding around in no ban,
- 18:51Speaker 1: smoking no weed with no elderly people. Did you ask
- 18:54Speaker 1: any of the elderly people if they had any weed
- 18:56Speaker 1: on them? H No, No, No, I didn't think about it.
- 19:01Speaker 1: No elder people having no week. So you just assume
- 19:05Speaker 1: it's me. What one of them guy got coma or something? What? What?
- 19:09Speaker 1: What you know? What you know? Who I think? What
- 19:11Speaker 1: did you know? Who I think the weed belonged to
- 19:13Speaker 1: Oh oh, I think I think the weed belonged the
- 19:17Speaker 1: nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Show. What man, damn,
- 19:28Speaker 1: you just got a PreK Oh my god, you just
- 19:32Speaker 1: got a pre to put his name. His name is brother,
- 19:35Speaker 1: uh brother Lawrence, Lawrence ros Lawrence. Oh my, Larry called Larry,
- 19:45Speaker 1: but la Larry Larry in trouble with men, Man, I
- 20:00Speaker 1: got one more thing that. I got one more thing
- 20:02Speaker 1: to ask you, man, what is the saddest and I
- 20:04Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land, Man, Steve
- 20:10Speaker 1: hard morning Man going on risk Man, going on the
- 20:17Speaker 1: chill out the rest of the day. I tried, Man,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I know I ain't gonna smoke no weed. Thank you
- 20:22Speaker 1: so kind, thank you, thank you, thank you. All Right,
- 20:26Speaker 1: I'll be I'll be ignorant of all them. Twenty twenty two.
- 20:29Speaker 1: So stay two yes, Thence is here. Yes, yes, magnify that,
- 20:36Speaker 1: magnify things. You don't have to stay. You know, we
- 20:39Speaker 1: already know. It was like stating the obvious. Understand, I understand,
- 20:45Speaker 1: we're back, Yeah, new year, We're back. Baby, all right,
- 20:51Speaker 1: thank you. Nephew coming up next, It is asked to
- 20:54Speaker 1: Cello with our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. Right after this,

- 21:03Speaker 1: top of the hour, and trending entertainment news. We'll tell
- 21:07Speaker 1: you about the season premiere of Steve's new TV show,
- 21:10Speaker 1: Judge Steve Going Down eight B. That's right, Steve, Yeah,
- 21:15Speaker 1: we'll talk about it, plus an other trending entertainment news
- 21:18Speaker 1: where I'm mourning the loss of TV legend Betty White.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Also Goldie Max Julian, who starred as Goldie in The Mac,
- 21:28Speaker 1: one of my favorite movies of all time, has passed away.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Our condolence is going out to their families. We'll talk
- 21:34Speaker 1: about all of these stories, of course, at the top
- 21:36Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time for
- 21:38Speaker 1: Steve's favorite segment. Asked the clo Reddy. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Twenty twenty two, I've decided to be even more pointed.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Oh haunted. I don't know, just like you know, a
- 21:52Speaker 1: poignant point haunted is a direction. I don't know now
- 21:59Speaker 1: I'm gonna be. I only know what pomp poigna. I
- 22:04Speaker 1: ain't trying to point long time ago poignan poignant Yes, no,
- 22:13Speaker 1: well wait wait wait, wait, wait, what what does poign
- 22:16Speaker 1: it mean? The same thing pointed in you? No, I'll
- 22:19Speaker 1: tell me what poign it means. I don't know. It
- 22:21Speaker 1: means some important, significant important. You're gonna be doing some
- 22:25Speaker 1: important things, significant things. No, that ain't what I mean.
- 22:30Speaker 1: What do you mean? I'm I'm gonna be more appointed,
- 22:34Speaker 1: more direct, most, stick it, stick it in you, you know, stabbing.
- 22:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna be more stabbing. I'm gonna be more I'm
- 22:42Speaker 1: gonna be more penetrating. That what I mean by pointed
- 22:47Speaker 1: up in here? I'm not finishing poignant, I'm already What
- 22:51Speaker 1: is it? What do you say? That was? Again? It
- 22:53Speaker 1: was deeply affecting? How about that? I'll give you the
- 22:56Speaker 1: webster painfully affecting? No, no, no, I'm finished. I'm finn
- 23:00Speaker 1: staying mold being more to the point. How about that point? Okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: let's go all right Maria and Baltimore says, my husband
- 23:13Speaker 1: is a doctor, and this evening he came home with
- 23:16Speaker 1: a sweet potato pie and a loaf of banana bread.
- 23:19Speaker 1: He said, one of the nurses is an excellent baker,
- 23:22Speaker 1: and she brought the dessert so he could try them.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I told him he wasn't going to try anything, and
- 23:28Speaker 1: I threw them in the trash. We still had desserts
- 23:32Speaker 1: that I had made for the holiday. So was I
- 23:34Speaker 1: justified in my action? No? I think you overreacted. You know,
- 23:39Speaker 1: the lady works for him in the office. She made
- 23:41Speaker 1: him some banana bread and sweet potato pie. Now you
- 23:44Speaker 1: didn't throw it in the tray. Now you know what
- 23:48Speaker 1: you probably may not know is just maybe yo sweet
- 23:52Speaker 1: potato pie need to go into trad Maybe that's why
- 23:55Speaker 1: he bought a home. Understand you understand. See that's what
- 23:59Speaker 1: I mean. I'm gonna be more pointed. You know what
- 24:03Speaker 1: you know, I'm pointing to fank where it need to be. Now,
- 24:05Speaker 1: you should have just left. Let the man half sweet
- 24:07Speaker 1: petato pies Christmas holidays. So you bring a sweet petato
- 24:12Speaker 1: pie home from another woman, you it's gonna be who
- 24:15Speaker 1: cannot bring home or sweetetate pie. Not sure, nobody know
- 24:21Speaker 1: I'm bringing nothing home from shire John Cooking That Mississippi
- 24:27Speaker 1: might be able, but we know who the hell came
- 24:31Speaker 1: point You can't make a sweet petato pie in the
- 24:34Speaker 1: crock pot. De damn right there, that's so pointed. Right
- 24:39Speaker 1: The next question, Yeah, you got out of that one
- 24:45Speaker 1: all right. Camilla in Seattle says, I'm a single mom.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I have a five year old son, and I'm dating
- 24:50Speaker 1: a guy that is a little overweight, but I love it.
- 24:53Speaker 1: My son has a habit of making my boyfriend uncomfortable
- 24:56Speaker 1: with the things he says. Over the weekend, he tol
- 25:00Speaker 1: my boyfriend that he was going to break the chicken
- 25:02Speaker 1: the kitchen chair, and it started an argument between my
- 25:05Speaker 1: boyfriend and I. I told him the children have no
- 25:08Speaker 1: filter and he's not being mean on purpose. He said,
- 25:11Speaker 1: I need to discipline him. Do I? No, you need
- 25:14Speaker 1: to lose You need your boyfriend need to lose some
- 25:16Speaker 1: weight to five year old just calling it like he said, Mama,
- 25:20Speaker 1: the fat man hill gonna break it out out damn
- 25:24Speaker 1: furniture around here. Okay, so let me do an example.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Anybody just asked me a question, and I'm gonna be five.
- 25:34Speaker 1: But everything I'm saying gonna have something to do with that.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I don't care what the question to you, They're gonna
- 25:38Speaker 1: have something do with the fat ass man and the
- 25:40Speaker 1: out go ahead. Any question at all? What did you
- 25:43Speaker 1: get for Christmas? Well, let me go in here and
- 25:46Speaker 1: ask Santa Claus what he bought. Did you like. Did
- 25:54Speaker 1: you like my mommy's dinner? Well, if I had a
- 25:57Speaker 1: chance to eat some? But guess who was here at
- 25:59Speaker 1: eight first? Well, after dinner, we're going to the movies.
- 26:05Speaker 1: You want to go? Yeah, I guess I get on
- 26:07Speaker 1: in here and ride this fat ass slay on down there. Okay,
- 26:13Speaker 1: I think we get your point. We do, all right,
- 26:17Speaker 1: Alexia and Baton Rouge says, I've been married for two
- 26:20Speaker 1: years and my husband still calls his ex wife's parents
- 26:23Speaker 1: his mother in law and his father in law. He
- 26:25Speaker 1: always told me that he broke it off with his
- 26:27Speaker 1: wife but not her parents because they helped him through
- 26:30Speaker 1: some rough times. Through some tough times. His ex wife's
- 26:33Speaker 1: parents recently came to visit my husband, but I wasn't
- 26:36Speaker 1: home and he let them in. I want to give
- 26:38Speaker 1: him an ultimatum about his in laws, but I don't
- 26:42Speaker 1: quite know how what should I do? Well, that's an
- 26:46Speaker 1: interesting one because he probably looks at them as parental figures,
- 26:53Speaker 1: and so they might have built a special bond. And
- 26:56Speaker 1: as long as he don't have nothing to do with
- 26:57Speaker 1: the girl, I understand your reservation about it because of
- 27:02Speaker 1: the sheer connection to the ax that being her parents
- 27:07Speaker 1: and you don't see how they can separate them. And
- 27:09Speaker 1: it is a hard one, but I think you're gonna
- 27:12Speaker 1: have to inform him that it puts you in a
- 27:15Speaker 1: very uncomfortable position, and for you to have them in
- 27:18Speaker 1: our house was totally disrespectful to me. And you can't
- 27:23Speaker 1: just you can go visit them if that's what you're
- 27:25Speaker 1: gonna do. I don't like it, but you can go
- 27:29Speaker 1: and visit them, but you can't bring that into my
- 27:32Speaker 1: house and rub it in my face because I'm uncomfortable.
- 27:36Speaker 1: That's my suggestion. Wow, But now the real Steve Harvey
- 27:42Speaker 1: answer is kass over there again? See all right? Find
- 27:52Speaker 1: your ass a new one. Moving on. FeelA in New
- 27:55Speaker 1: York says, I'm a fifty year old woman engaged to
- 27:58Speaker 1: forty two year old man. I need your advice. I
- 28:01Speaker 1: love thoughtful gifts, romantic gestures, but my fiance stopped spoiling
- 28:04Speaker 1: me after he proposed. He asked me what I wanted
- 28:07Speaker 1: for Christmas. I gave him five ideas. He gave me
- 28:10Speaker 1: five hundred dollars and told me to get whatever I
- 28:12Speaker 1: want it. I don't want to appear ungrateful, but that
- 28:15Speaker 1: is not okay. Can I get him back to being
- 28:18Speaker 1: romantic and thoughtful or is this how he really is? Wow,
- 28:23Speaker 1: that's how he really is. But the same thing it
- 28:26Speaker 1: took to get your babyhooked, it's the same thing it's
- 28:28Speaker 1: gonna take to keep them. That's a song they wrote. Now,
- 28:32Speaker 1: what you got to do is, since he proposed to you,
- 28:35Speaker 1: if you cut back and curved back on some of
- 28:37Speaker 1: these wifely like duties, you can force him back into
- 28:42Speaker 1: who he was. Because men react to pain and consequences,
- 28:49Speaker 1: and reward. We only react to pain, consequence, and reward,
- 28:53Speaker 1: So you have to create one or the three for
- 28:56Speaker 1: his behavior. Bad behavior should not be rewarded. So you've
- 29:00Speaker 1: got to find a way to issue some consequences for
- 29:03Speaker 1: bad behavior. That's just the way we're build I'm sorry.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Welcome to twenty twenty two. All right, all right, issues,
- 29:15Speaker 1: all right, thank you, cello. Coming up at the top
- 29:18Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you.
- 29:20Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 29:26Speaker 1: happy New Year. It is time now for today's entertainment news. Tonight, Tonight, tonight,
- 29:32Speaker 1: mister Harvey, is the season premiere of your new show.
- 29:36Speaker 1: It's called Judge. Steve, it's on a b C. You're
- 29:40Speaker 1: a judge, but tell us about it. Yeah, well, now
- 29:43Speaker 1: let me explain something to y'all. If you want to
- 29:47Speaker 1: really sit down and go to court and holla laughing
- 29:54Speaker 1: while you're in court. This is the show show. Yeah,
- 29:59Speaker 1: the thing I decided to do was use my gift,
- 30:02Speaker 1: which god game is human. Now, the cases are very real.
- 30:08Speaker 1: They are all small claim courses cases. They are real,
- 30:13Speaker 1: They've been vetted, they are real, they are under all
- 30:16Speaker 1: legal obligations. They signed then after David that they have
- 30:19Speaker 1: to agree to whatever judge Steve says. We are right
- 30:24Speaker 1: off the top and nobody everybody know I'm not a judge.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Everybody know I ain't with the law school. I make
- 30:31Speaker 1: that clear several times. But your ass signed after David
- 30:38Speaker 1: and said you would abide by my decisions. Now, we
- 30:42Speaker 1: have a legal team that advises me, but I've only
- 30:48Speaker 1: listened to them twice the whole damn season. The whole season.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So they've removed the legal team from this show. Well,
- 31:01Speaker 1: they they still over there and they just decide what
- 31:04Speaker 1: cases I get. But it's up to ten thousand dollars.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I use my humor. It's some funny stuff get said.
- 31:12Speaker 1: But my specialty is I bust people lying. Yeah, oh man,
- 31:21Speaker 1: it's it's it's like an amazing guilt that I know.
- 31:24Speaker 1: I know when somebody lying. Huh, every dude that has
- 31:29Speaker 1: been on that show that lies, I busted because you're
- 31:34Speaker 1: an expert and you know some things. You really know it.
- 31:39Speaker 1: So you're going on real life spirit. I'm going on
- 31:42Speaker 1: real life experience. I use humor and I And the
- 31:46Speaker 1: difference between this Judge showing other Judge shows is I
- 31:51Speaker 1: actually care about the story. See. You know, like if
- 31:55Speaker 1: you know, like if you listen to Judge shows and
- 31:57Speaker 1: they go, no, they ain't got nothing to do with
- 31:59Speaker 1: this case. Now, Yeah, dude, talk to me. You want
- 32:02Speaker 1: to hear. What I like, Steven, is that it's on
- 32:06Speaker 1: at night. It's it's on at night. Most Judge shows
- 32:10Speaker 1: are on in the daytime. Well, let me tell you
- 32:13Speaker 1: what happened here. Uh how I pitched the idea. I'll
- 32:18Speaker 1: tell y'all off the air. But when they went for it, Uh,
- 32:23Speaker 1: it was supposed to be a summer release show. After
- 32:27Speaker 1: we started recording and they got involved, Disney and ABC
- 32:31Speaker 1: said wait a minute, this is this is really good.
- 32:36Speaker 1: So they moved it from a summer release show to
- 32:39Speaker 1: a mid season and then they gave me a half
- 32:43Speaker 1: a season guaranteed, and so it's shot and it's on
- 32:48Speaker 1: in prime time, and they moved it to prime time
- 32:51Speaker 1: and they said, wait a minute, man, hold up, we
- 32:53Speaker 1: might have something good for prime timers. So they put
- 32:56Speaker 1: me on right after Blackish, and which is a great
- 33:00Speaker 1: leading and that's a lot of faith. So it's just
- 33:04Speaker 1: another blessing, man, And if I told you the story
- 33:06Speaker 1: of how the whole show came about, just another gift
- 33:09Speaker 1: from God, that's all it is. And tonight starts a
- 33:13Speaker 1: new journey God willing um. You know, we'll see how
- 33:17Speaker 1: it goes. But TV man is so unpredictable, it's so hard.
- 33:23Speaker 1: It's yeah, we'll be watching Judge Steve tonight, eight pm,
- 33:29Speaker 1: seventh Central on a DC. You do not if anybody
- 33:34Speaker 1: on this show don't watch it, don't to work tomorrow
- 33:41Speaker 1: and just get on over there and see if DL
- 33:44Speaker 1: and Ricky Smiley got I called my frand brothers for you.
- 33:53Speaker 1: It's been so long since I your grandmama got to
- 33:57Speaker 1: watch hard. They got all them getting together to watch
- 33:59Speaker 1: this tonight, all for them to take something junior junior.
- 34:02Speaker 1: It's gonna be worth it, dog, It's to be worth it.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I think I think it's such a I really do
- 34:11Speaker 1: think it's a good show man. And I'm not just
- 34:13Speaker 1: saying it because I'm on it, but I'm really proud
- 34:15Speaker 1: of this when I think the concept was fresh. It's
- 34:19Speaker 1: never been done this way before. Question R Steve, what
- 34:24Speaker 1: do you wear? Are you wearing a robe? And all
- 34:25Speaker 1: of that row of blue chee got suits down? Now
- 34:36Speaker 1: I am gonna wear all black. But I can't wear
- 34:40Speaker 1: no road though. I don't want nobody, you know, mistake
- 34:44Speaker 1: me for choir member. Oh men are still but differently.
- 34:52Speaker 1: You know, I get up, I stand up on the show,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I walk down to the litigates table. You know I
- 34:58Speaker 1: showed I got I got two screens created. Well, I
- 35:02Speaker 1: can show you what you said like if I bust
- 35:05Speaker 1: you in a lie, I got two big screens in
- 35:09Speaker 1: the court. Why I could do replays? Oh oh oh.
- 35:12Speaker 1: As the season go on, you're gonna see what I
- 35:15Speaker 1: what I really thought would be fun to have in
- 35:17Speaker 1: a court. Let me ask yourself. Yeah, that gave is
- 35:22Speaker 1: it real gold? It's gold plated? It ain't go if
- 35:25Speaker 1: it was real gold. I couldn't pick it up, and
- 35:27Speaker 1: then it'll be at the house somewhere. I like, he dog.
- 35:35Speaker 1: That's the size of a bar, Yeah, a bar gold? Well,
- 35:39Speaker 1: how much is a bar gold? Right now? That's only
- 35:43Speaker 1: that's how only something you would right there? Well, we
- 35:46Speaker 1: used to be about three eighty, so let me see
- 35:49Speaker 1: what they are now anyway again, Judge Steve tonight right
- 35:52Speaker 1: after Blackish and ABC eight pm, seven Central. All right,
- 35:57Speaker 1: you do not want to miss it. It's gonna be
- 35:59Speaker 1: some fun. Remember we all have to watch it, all right,
- 36:03Speaker 1: coming up to twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 36:05Speaker 1: sports talk with Junior right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 36:12Speaker 1: a lot of sports stuff going on, Junior. It's time
- 36:15Speaker 1: for sports talk. What you got ah, Yes, Shirley, let
- 36:18Speaker 1: me just say this before this. Greensboro, North Carolina, January fourteen, fifteen,
- 36:23Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. The Ignis continues at the Comedy Zone.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Go get your tickets right now. Now here's a problem
- 36:29Speaker 1: I had long. I don't know if you've seen this
- 36:31Speaker 1: on you probably have. Tommy, y'all know you probably saw
- 36:33Speaker 1: a caller. I know this is crazy and Tonio Brown's
- 36:37Speaker 1: career with the Tampa Bay Bucks is over after his
- 36:40Speaker 1: midfield melt down in the third quarter versus the Jets.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Suddenly and Tonio took off his jersey and path and
- 36:47Speaker 1: through his shirt and gloves understand and jobbed off the field.
- 36:50Speaker 1: He wanted the New York crowd before running into the
- 36:53Speaker 1: tunnel late in the third quarter with the Jets leading
- 36:55Speaker 1: twenty four to ten. Tom Brady, now Tom Brady who
- 36:58Speaker 1: got him the job in Tampa Bay, said that a
- 37:02Speaker 1: Tony Brown needs help and deserves compassion. Not the black folks.
- 37:08Speaker 1: We don't do we see crazy? Is he really sick?
- 37:13Speaker 1: He's sick though, man, there's something wrong with it. It's
- 37:16Speaker 1: something wrong, say some timmy when my uncle when worked
- 37:19Speaker 1: in twelve years say this food crazy. Yeah, everybody's talking
- 37:27Speaker 1: about he's got CTE. But do you know how many
- 37:30Speaker 1: football players have had CTE? And none of them has
- 37:35Speaker 1: pulled their jersey off in the middle of a game,
- 37:38Speaker 1: throw their gloves in the stairs, wave to the crowd,
- 37:41Speaker 1: tried to hype them up, and then run off, and
- 37:44Speaker 1: then asked realize, now, hey, man, you didn't quit yeah
- 37:49Speaker 1: in New York, Hold on, dog, how are you gonna
- 37:53Speaker 1: get back to Tampa? You can't you gotta get on it.
- 37:55Speaker 1: So you know, you know you can't get on team plane.
- 37:58Speaker 1: So he asked the highway put rollman to take him
- 38:01Speaker 1: to the airport. The dude say, we can't do that, sir,
- 38:06Speaker 1: So he had to go to his locker room, get
- 38:09Speaker 1: his clothes, and then go make another move. I don't
- 38:13Speaker 1: think it has a nothing. This is not mental illness, man,
- 38:16Speaker 1: This is something else, because he does this all the time.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Antonio Brown, Oh, you don't think it's mental. I think
- 38:23Speaker 1: it's something. I don't think it. Let me say something.
- 38:28Speaker 1: Do you realize he just got back off suspension? Do
- 38:31Speaker 1: you realize he just came back? But crazy is mental?
- 38:34Speaker 1: It's something wrong, it really is. It's hard to think
- 38:39Speaker 1: that it's not anything wrong, Steve. If he's doing that,
- 38:42Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's something wrong. But I think
- 38:49Speaker 1: it's the way he processes. And I'm not sure if
- 38:54Speaker 1: that comes from he's such an attention seeker, he's such
- 38:59Speaker 1: a it's all about me. At one point in time,
- 39:03Speaker 1: this starts to look like a bunch of foolish pride
- 39:06Speaker 1: to me, because everything you do is for somebody to
- 39:10Speaker 1: see me to draw a reaction. I don't I don't
- 39:14Speaker 1: know what that is, man, I really don't know what
- 39:16Speaker 1: it is, but I know that this young man will
- 39:19Speaker 1: never ever play professional football again. By okay, all right,
- 39:28Speaker 1: thank you guys. Coming up thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:30Speaker 1: we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 39:33Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right. Before we
- 39:39Speaker 1: left off, Steve, we were talking about Antonio Brown and
- 39:43Speaker 1: um just trying to trying to make sense amongst his
- 39:47Speaker 1: mother down yeah, about what's happened something. Let me say this,
- 39:52Speaker 1: Me in Prime Time reached out to him a few
- 39:56Speaker 1: years ago when the Super Bowl was in Miami, and
- 40:00Speaker 1: he was an applicable. You know, he was a brother
- 40:02Speaker 1: man who was willing to listen, and he wasn't in
- 40:04Speaker 1: the league at the time, but he was willing to
- 40:07Speaker 1: make amends to get back in the league. And Prime
- 40:09Speaker 1: Time spent a lot of time mentoring it. So Prime
- 40:12Speaker 1: knows and really, well, I don't want to talk about
- 40:16Speaker 1: mental illness because I'm not qualified to talk about it.
- 40:20Speaker 1: It is a very very real issue. It's real in
- 40:24Speaker 1: all communities in life, black, white, Latino, Asian. I don't
- 40:28Speaker 1: care who you are, Native America. Guns mental illness is real,
- 40:33Speaker 1: And I like that commercial that comes on TV that says,
- 40:36Speaker 1: when you ask your friends how they're doing, you know,
- 40:39Speaker 1: sit down and take some time to talk to them,
- 40:41Speaker 1: really get behind the sentence. Hey man, how you doing?
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm all right? Whoa whoa? Whoa? Bro? What you mean?
- 40:46Speaker 1: You're all right? What's going on? What you talk to me?
- 40:48Speaker 1: I'm here if you need me. I like that new
- 40:50Speaker 1: commercial that's on TV. So mental illness is very, very real,
- 40:55Speaker 1: and I don't want to see him dis hardened to that.
- 40:58Speaker 1: What troubles me out Antonio Brown, is that at this level,
- 41:04Speaker 1: at one point in time, you have to incorporate what
- 41:09Speaker 1: is the lesson that's learned, and if you're not willing
- 41:13Speaker 1: to learn the lesson, I don't know what form of
- 41:16Speaker 1: mental illness that is, but you can't keep be given
- 41:21Speaker 1: chance after chance after chance to like Carla said on
- 41:25Speaker 1: the break, Carla said, you're playing a game that very
- 41:30Speaker 1: few people get to get to at this level. They
- 41:33Speaker 1: spend their whole life dreaming of this moment, and then
- 41:37Speaker 1: for you to get there and constantly sabotage yourself, I'm
- 41:43Speaker 1: assuming that must be some type of mental illness that yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 1: because it's as you appear to be a prige. Why,
- 41:55Speaker 1: what's wrong? What's happening? What do you think your decision making? It? Ye?
- 42:00Speaker 1: You to have that melt down at work? What's your job?
- 42:04Speaker 1: It's such things, Steve. I think he just wants to
- 42:07Speaker 1: be about him. He always made these moves when it's
- 42:09Speaker 1: about him. Out of Pittsburgh, out of Oakland, now Tampa Bay.
- 42:13Speaker 1: It's always been about him. It's attending it. I don't
- 42:15Speaker 1: I don't see, but it's about him, and he's forfeiting,
- 42:21Speaker 1: you know, all the money and the salary and everything,
- 42:25Speaker 1: so he's willing you put it all out on the line. Mansion.
- 42:29Speaker 1: It's like you can make it about you, but then
- 42:32Speaker 1: some people know when to when to stop and still
- 42:35Speaker 1: collect their checks. You live even though they make it
- 42:38Speaker 1: about them. You live in Tampa. You need to ride
- 42:43Speaker 1: back the team. You can't get back on that. Yeah,
- 42:47Speaker 1: you know I sometimes Yeah, yeah, I think so too.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Go ahead, Steve. I just find it. It's so hard
- 43:00Speaker 1: for me to look at situations like this and with
- 43:06Speaker 1: this guy, because it's always a front and center moves.
- 43:09Speaker 1: It's a twofold thing. You know, now if you got
- 43:13Speaker 1: a mental problem, but then at the same time I
- 43:16Speaker 1: see these signs of these foolish pride. That's what throws
- 43:19Speaker 1: me off. Man, when I look at you and you
- 43:21Speaker 1: everything you do is in front of people, so somebody
- 43:24Speaker 1: can see me. I'm gonna take off all my shirts
- 43:27Speaker 1: and track across the field. Dog, you ain't even in temple.
- 43:31Speaker 1: These ain't no fans of yours. This new y'all. They
- 43:35Speaker 1: damn near hate everybody. So now you run across the
- 43:39Speaker 1: field with your hands up. You took your clothes off
- 43:42Speaker 1: through your T shirt gloves in the stands. Then you
- 43:46Speaker 1: try to get them raw raw. Then you starting to
- 43:48Speaker 1: do sign and you trot down the Yeah, I showed
- 43:51Speaker 1: them as soon as you got your ass in that tunnel.
- 43:55Speaker 1: I bet you you went all hell the hell, yeah yeah, yeah.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Hey man, it looks crazy how it looks. It's really
- 44:10Speaker 1: I agree with you on how it looks. We just
- 44:12Speaker 1: don't know what it is. You know it's mental, all right? Yeah,

- 54:27Speaker 1: you subject Sanna stop by the wrong House. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I'm a forty year old married woman and my husband
- 54:34Speaker 1: and I have two children, ages six and eight. He's
- 54:37Speaker 1: a fireman, so he's used to dressing as Santa for
- 54:40Speaker 1: the neighborhood and the kids come by the fire station
- 54:43Speaker 1: and get free pictures with Sanna. He and two other
- 54:46Speaker 1: guys do it annually. This Christmas, my husband played Sannah
- 54:50Speaker 1: the day before Christmas Eve. He was at the station
- 54:54Speaker 1: all day while I wrap presents and got the house
- 54:57Speaker 1: together for my parents to come visit. My six year
- 55:00Speaker 1: old son wanted to see Santa for the one hundredth time,
- 55:04Speaker 1: so I drove over to the station. My hobby wasn't there,
- 55:08Speaker 1: but his coworker was dressed in the suit, so my
- 55:11Speaker 1: son was happy. Later that evening, My husband came home
- 55:15Speaker 1: and told me he'd have to work on Christmas Eve
- 55:18Speaker 1: and he'd come home on Christmas morning in the Santa
- 55:21Speaker 1: suit to surprise the kids. While on Christmas morning, it
- 55:24Speaker 1: got to be nine am and the kids had been
- 55:27Speaker 1: up and had breakfast, but Santa didn't show up. I
- 55:31Speaker 1: called and Santa didn't answer. Around eleven am, Santa came
- 55:36Speaker 1: in and said he got caught up at work. I
- 55:39Speaker 1: knew he was lying because I could smell perfume on
- 55:41Speaker 1: his Santa suit. There was a makeup on the white beard,
- 55:45Speaker 1: and I could see he wasn't wearing underwear under those
- 55:48Speaker 1: thin Santa pants. I was very embarrassed because I know
- 55:52Speaker 1: my mother noticed it too. He played Santa and then
- 55:56Speaker 1: tried to rush to the shower, but I wouldn't let
- 55:59Speaker 1: him get on dressed unless I was in the room.
- 56:02Speaker 1: So he slept in the darned suit all day. It says,
- 56:08Speaker 1: darn stud look at it. I thought it was my bad.
- 56:13Speaker 1: You wanted it to be, no, didn't you. Yeah, so
- 56:17Speaker 1: he slept. He slept in the darned suit all day.
- 56:20Speaker 1: He got text messages from the same number all day,
- 56:23Speaker 1: but I didn't want snoop through his phone. This ruined
- 56:26Speaker 1: my holidays and now he's not talking to me because
- 56:29Speaker 1: I accused him of cheating? Is he being defensive because
- 56:32Speaker 1: he's guilty? Please help? You already know the answer. You
- 56:36Speaker 1: already know, and I'm so sorry to say it's yes.
- 56:40Speaker 1: I mean, he's defensive because he's guilty of cheating on you.
- 56:43Speaker 1: He was wherever he was doing exactly what you think
- 56:46Speaker 1: he was doing. The perfume that you smelled and the
- 56:50Speaker 1: makeup you saw with your own eyes was real, and
- 56:53Speaker 1: that is your proof. I mean, in case clothes, that's
- 56:56Speaker 1: all you would need right thereon poured a law. Right, Judge, Steve,
- 57:01Speaker 1: don't let him flip this one on you. Please don't
- 57:03Speaker 1: let let him do that. You did nothing wrong. He
- 57:07Speaker 1: is a nerve to be giving you the silent treatment.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I mean, he's the one who did the dirt. Looks
- 57:11Speaker 1: like he was doing dirt on Christmas Day. Dirt on
- 57:15Speaker 1: Christmas Day. That's not you. Don't cheat on Christmas, Okay,
- 57:19Speaker 1: don't do that. You still let him live. He did
- 57:23Speaker 1: all that, he embarrassed. You're in front of your parents.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Your kids didn't see him till around eleven. They had
- 57:28Speaker 1: had breakfast open their gifts, probably everything, and everyone knows
- 57:32Speaker 1: that Santa visits at night and leaves the toys. But
- 57:36Speaker 1: this Santa husband of yours, without cheating. He tried to
- 57:39Speaker 1: cover it up by saying he was working. You know better,
- 57:42Speaker 1: you know the truth. It's just a matter of how
- 57:44Speaker 1: do you deal with this and move forward? And I'm
- 57:46Speaker 1: sorry this had to happen to you on Christmas Day,
- 57:50Speaker 1: but you're cheating Santa husband, Steve, did you say everybody
- 57:54Speaker 1: knows Santa come at night? Santa comes at night? You
- 57:58Speaker 1: didn't have nothing else to say? You d out of
- 58:00Speaker 1: stuff to say, Santa comes at night. I'm so mad
- 58:04Speaker 1: that this is the opening letter for twenty twenty two.
- 58:08Speaker 1: The ridiculousness of this is just it is Uh, it's
- 58:13Speaker 1: alarming to me, ma'am Why you wrote this letter? Because
- 58:18Speaker 1: you're farty, you're married, you got two kids. Your husband
- 58:22Speaker 1: is a fireman and he plays Santa Claus down at
- 58:25Speaker 1: the fire station every year, which means your husband kind
- 58:29Speaker 1: of large this Christmas? What well, come on now, her
- 58:39Speaker 1: husband gotta be kind of large? Well, Oh, of all
- 58:43Speaker 1: the men down at the fire stay high he Santa?
- 58:48Speaker 1: You think you think they ship the skinniest person I'm
- 58:56Speaker 1: just going with it. I'm trying to turn this nothing
- 58:58Speaker 1: Das's letter into since this is the first one in
- 59:02Speaker 1: twenty twenty two, I'm not gonna play with these letters
- 59:05Speaker 1: no more. Stop talking to me about fat shaming and
- 59:08Speaker 1: all this hill When they pick you to be Santa,
- 59:11Speaker 1: cloth size got something to do with it. They probably
- 59:18Speaker 1: picked him because he the only one that comes, like
- 59:21Speaker 1: like when you come down the pole at the firehouse.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Whoever the slowers probably end up having to be selling
- 59:28Speaker 1: he was cheating. Well, we'll get to that. All the
- 59:33Speaker 1: kids come to the fire station, get free pictures with
- 59:36Speaker 1: Santa club, blah blah blah. You at the house wrapping presents,
- 59:42Speaker 1: getting ready for your parents to come over to the house.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Your son down now said he was not when your
- 59:50Speaker 1: your husband playing Santa, the Davey folks pruss even he
- 59:53Speaker 1: was at the station all day. Now, you're six year
- 59:56Speaker 1: old want to see Santa for one hundred times. So
- 59:58Speaker 1: you go to the station. Your husband wasn't dare, but
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: his coworker was dressed in the suit. Now let me
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: ask you a questions. If you go to the fire
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: station and your husband posted be at Whorton, I've never
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: been a fireman before. But if you at the work
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: at the fire station, you either at the fire station
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: or you after fire. And the fire right now, if
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: all the trucks is in now and all all the
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: firemen is in there, where your fire asshole, mister Chubby?
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: All that thought, Steve, We'll have part two of Steam's
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: response coming up with twenty three minutes after the hour
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: today strawberry letters subject Santa stopped at the Wronghouse. We'll
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: today's strawberry letters. Santa stopped at the long House. Well,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: it's forty year old lady marriedeth Is fat as firement
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: that play Santa Claus every year for the kids down there.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: They got two kids of their own, six and eight.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: He said he was done. He said he was down
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: there at the fire station that day. And so your
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: six year old son wanted to go see Santa for
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: a hundred times. So she drove to the station. Your
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: husband wasn't now, but his coworker was dressed in the suit,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: so your son was happy. Now, if your husband supposed
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to be at work, but he ain't at work, and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: he at five, and you're not at the fire station.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: You must be at the five because they were two
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: things they do at the fire station. He wait on
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: five so they can come in and save people's lives
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: in the Bible. All right, all right, later that and
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: now your husband wasn't there. Now, Later that evening, your
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: husband came home and told me he'd have to work
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: on Christmas Eve and he'd come home on Christmas morning
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: in the Santa suit to surprise the kids. Okay, all right,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I got you. Well, on Christmas morning, it got about
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: nine am. The kids have been up and breakfast, had breakfast,
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: but Santa didn't show up. As we lay we forgot
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: a buy marrow as we laid me. Yeah, I hate that,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: damn song boy, because I've been there. Man happened to
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: me a long, long long time ago. But oh lord,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: I laid up there way too. Damn Lord, out my
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: eyes if he was squinting, called sunlight coming through the women. Yo,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: I'm don't getting here. Well, I'm supposed to be at home.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: It wasn't Christmas Eve. I didn't have a Santa Claus
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: suit or nothing. So now, well, Christmas morning got at
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: nine am. The kids been up breakfast, but Santa didn't
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: show up. I called Santa. He didn't answer. By eleven am,
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Santa came in and said he got caught up at work.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: The only thing can happen if you get caught up
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: at the work. YO asked us to be out of fire.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Was no fires on the news on Christmas Day, which
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: is news. I knew he was lying because I could
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: smell perfume on his Santa suit. God, and that was
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: makeup on the white beard. God. I could see he
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: wasn't wearing underwear under those thin Santa pans. God, I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: was advanced because I know my mother noticed it too.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: All right, now we got a problem because he has
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: not developed a lie for the perfume, the makeup or
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: the in suit. Santa Claus was outswinging now, But the
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: problem Santa Claus. Santa Claus was out swinging. The problem
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: he got is he didn't develop a life for And
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: it's too late for the line because now he tried
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: to rush. He played Santa and then he tried to
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: rush to the shower. But I wouldn't let him get
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: undressed unless I was in the room. Yah, So he
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: slept in the suit all day. That's the only thing
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: he did that had value. He slept well, hedn't he
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: knew he couldn't get necking because it's way too much.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: He still got on gift wrapping paper up under the air,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: he got, He got some bold stuck on his hand.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: They was doing some Crystmas stuff that was got kid
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: friendly his ass, got wrapping paper, glitter on he got.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: He still got tensel caught up under the hair under
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: his arms. Yeah, he got to get all this. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: got the fruitcake, it is belly button. He got eggs. Yeah,
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: he got a lot going on right now. So he
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: got to get this water and get all this Crystmas
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: stuff on. She made him leave the bed on because
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: she had a fantasy. She always wanted to do center,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: so she done center anyway. Anyway, he got text meshes
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: from the same numba all day. But I didn't want
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to snoop this on this ruin of my holidays. And
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: now he's not talking to me because I accused him
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: a chief. Is he being defensive because he's guilty. No,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: he's not being defensive. He's being offensive because what my
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: brother taught me a long time ago, the best defense
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: is a good office. So now he's not being defensive,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: he's taking the offense. And now I'm not speaking to
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: you because you accuse me of cheating. And she has
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: ever this, and she's correct. Why would he sleep in
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: that damn soup? Like? Why the makeup come from? What
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: nine year old? You didn't hand on your lap with
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: a full face of makeup, and you ain't got no
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: drawls on? Santa Claus got to wear a drawl. I'm
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: telling you right now, your ans is going to prison
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: if you sit up in here the mall trying to
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: play Santa Claus with no damn draws on. That ain't
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: even look all right. And you got to get a

- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and get your ticket right now. Now. In sports, first
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: of let me get us out of the way. Did
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: y'all see this what happened in Washington with Jalen Hurts
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: fans collapse? Yeah, man, I'm glad he's all right. Man.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: That was a danger situation when the lower level collapse
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: and those fans fell out on the tunnel. He helped
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: right now. Oh, they fat ass leaned over and they failed.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: They were right there on the front row. They was
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: on the first role. Yeah, some most fat sham and stuff,
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: and all this fat sham of stuff gonna be over
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: with in twenty twenty two for me. Yeah, the fat
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: ass man, look at him, fell backwards into the crowd.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Nobody was hurt. So now let's just call it like
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: it is. Why is your fat ass leaning? That's why
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: I'm a judge, Sherlett. Come on, what is you fit
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: to blame the stadium people fault when clearly your fat
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: ass eat it. Y'all leaning against this baby real look
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: like crib with eight jack babies in it. That's it, man,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Fine though, I know, yeah, I'm a judge. Now I'm
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: gonna be more judgmental. Okay, let me talk to Steve then,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: because I gotta ask this man. We all know the
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: biggest sports stories. Antonio Brown quitting on the book Sunday
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Sunday in New York. Right, I understand this down. Let
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: me tell you something. You know. We talked about this, babe,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: mental imlis We don't know. I'm not saying that I
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: got family that got mental issues. I understand mental illness.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Let me tell you something. I know crazy when I
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: see it. I know that I know that right off
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: the top. Boy's crazy. Bro. Let me explain. Oh no,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: I don't know what has to happen to you how
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: many times before you learn the lesson? Now, we all
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: have lessons to learn. And he gonna have to learn
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: this now. Whether it's a mental issue or not that
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: he needs help for, that's probably the case. I don't
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: see how it can't be. But whatever it is, you
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: still have to learn this lesson. Yeah, because when you
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: get your mental whatever addressed, one of the things they're
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: gonna have to talk about is your decision making process.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: And something wrong right there and there ain't got nothing
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to do with the mental illness. Well, I don't know
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: that for a fact. From Let me retract that statement.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: What Steve, I'm anna judge you got to get your
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: ass out of him? Yeah, first of all, not in
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: the NFL on no more. You to mess your money
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: up for the rest of the year. Anybody got to
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: pay you quit on the team, be detrimental to the
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: benefit of the team. All him is in the contract.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: He out the NFL. I beat Damn. I'm trying to
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: think I got to put you out to the NFL
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: for your ass. Get tired of getting put out the
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: inn field. It's been put out quite can We came
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: about this at the top of Now I got something
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: I want to say. We'll be back. You heard it
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harby Morning Show right after this.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Junior is here we part two in sports talk for
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: the morning. What you got, Junior? What else? Okay? We
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: know that Antonio Brown biggest sports third. I ain't never
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: seen them like this. Quit on the Tamba Bay Bucks
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: in New York versus the Jets. How they Bucks was
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: down twenty four to ten. They end up with it
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the game, but he quit. But I just want to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: say this and Judge Steve please come in and help
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: me with this. Uh, there were some things I just said.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: These are things that Tonio Brown said right after he
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: took them pads off. Damn, it's Cole out here just saying.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: I know. He said, my man, I need that shirt back.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: Something else. He said, man, probably should have kept him glove.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I know you had to say this. In the hell
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: am I gonna get home? I know, Caesar just he said.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: Tonio Brown had to say when he took them shoulder
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: pads off, why you ain't stopping me? Yeah? You saw
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: what I was doing, I promise you. After he put
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: his clothes on that the locker room, he sat down
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: for a minute with I'll be there him. I didn't
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: done it again, I helped done it. See. He was
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: running around there on the field just braidy. Now he said,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: does that say? JITs broa here got another one? He
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: was thinking. I know he said this right here? What
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: the blank was? I think? Yes, he had to get
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: in that locker room and he had to get in
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: and say this is by far stupid. Yeah, yeah, by far.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: I can't show you. I ain't never done nothing this,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: damn you just to Brown said while he was out there,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: he took them, show the pads off, through that shirt
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: and the blood in the stand and he probably said,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: my man, I need that shirt back. It's thirty one
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: out here. Yeah, here goes something else said, huh, man,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I appreciate all the people saying I need mental health,
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: but that was pretty stupid though, created stupid like that.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: But I must say so myself after the day, I'm
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: stupid and the words of Tommy. This has got to
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: be by fALS. And I got a list. Oh yeah,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: we know his list him. Oh my god, man, that's
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that's it. I just you know, man, I got what
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: everybody saying about the mental health. Yeah, but it's something else.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: It's something else. Man. When you throw m without you
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: don't you can't process information, you can't retain the lesson
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: from before, You have no recollection of prior, and you
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: don't pull on no experience, nothing. No, man, that's you
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: know what is that? Didn't you say he actually lived
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: with Tom Brady? Yeah, yeah, yeah, conversations, you know he did.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: That's why I know something wrong with his as about
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: him and he stuck and struck his neck out for him. Yeah,
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: I wanted him to get on the team. You know.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Now he's the one calling for empathy for him. And
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: then he needs help. That's what Tom Brady. He needs
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: help and he and he should get help. But he'll
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: never play football again, No, not on a professional level
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: because no one would want to take a chance. So
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: like before when he was talking about I'm just gonna
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: go back to school, well you need to sign up, dog, right,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: need to sign up time right now? Yeah, really gonna
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: be struggling with who in the interview room when you
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: do get the degree. It's gonna sit there and go, Yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna give him a cubicle, a chair in a yeah, yep, yeah,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: and a business called my company name on it. Yeah.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: All right. Well, we'll be back with more of the
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty minutes after the hour.

- 1:15:33Speaker 1: and politicians took to social media to pay tribute to
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Betty White, who, of course was everyone's favorite golden girl.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: She had her sense of humor, Steve, I mean, you know,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: well into her nineties. Yeah, I mean, and she was
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: still funny. Just you know, we got the same birthday, Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: generally something. Wow. Yeah, she would have been one hundred
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: years old. Everybody was hoping she make it to one hundred.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: She was just a few weeks away, wasn't Yeah yeah,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: there there will be a movie about her life released
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: on what would have been her one hundredth birthday, coming
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: up January seventeen. And finally, Max Julian, we all know
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: him as Goldie in The Mac, He's also passed away.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: That was really sad too. He died at age eighty
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: eight on New Year's Day, which was also his birthday. Um.
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: The Mac is just considered a cult classic, one of
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: those standout movies in the nineteen seventies. It came out
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy three. Um Max Julian played an X
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: con who becomes a big time pimp in Oakland, and
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Richard Pryor was also in that movie. So ye, Doctor Cooke,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: all right, we'll be back with more of the Steve

- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Right there we go. Would you rather, since it's winter time,
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: would you rather do it in thirty two degree weather?
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Or would you do it? Rather do it in one
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: hundred degree weather? Would you rather do it? I just
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: do it? Gives me, junior, What was that? I'd rather
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: do it? Okay? What I'm gonna go with that? That
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: hunted that heat? So okay, you try to say so
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: if it's two, it's a little a lot more effort
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: require Yeah that cold boy, Yeah, you got me and

- 1:18:13Speaker 1: can't hit certain party be like a turtle in the
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: shell to go back in the house. It's cold, all right,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: So one hundred one hundred degrees that's super hot. That's sorry, Sorry,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: we can deal with that. We just nothing wrong hot, Yeah,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: just rest cut that ceiling fan off. Ask you something, Shelly,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: why you think it ain't that many eskimos. How many
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: eskimos is defined as ain't nine? How many eskimos are hunted? Black?
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: Ain't no black? Ask a mote? All right? Moving, we
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: had eleven thousand lived in garden Valley projects. All right,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: keeping with that same kind of theme. Would you rather
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: cuddle in the morning or would you rather cuddle at night?
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: I know, I know how men are with the cuddling situation.
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: Cuddling we threw get off men degrees? Why do we
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: have a keen size being if we're not gonna use
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: this on your my sack, Junior, Having heard from you
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: on this one, I'm not cuddling. What no, what what?
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: We just got through touching. I'm gonna touch the mot
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: what Junior? You have to cut up sometimes because it's

- 1:20:10Speaker 1: her hot. All right. We'll be back to close out
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: the show at forty nine minutes after the hour, and
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: we'll get some closing remarks from the one and only
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this you're listening to all right, guys,
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day on
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: this Tuesday. It's been a good day fun I guess
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: you know, something. Uh, I stopped doing a little while ago.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: I stopped doing New Year's resolutions. I've always because I
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: decided a while back too from now to just be
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: a right now person. I mean, as soon as I
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: think of something, I start the process. I try to
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: start the process immediately. That's one thing I've always pride
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: in my cell phone. So I stopped waiting on New
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: Year because what happens, especially during the latter part of
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: the year. I think a lot of us, oh, like
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: around October, when we get into the holiday season, they say, well,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna get off my little program because it's holidays.
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna gonna enjoy myself. So now so now week
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: folk Thanksgiving, you start letting go or you work out
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: and your eating program. Then you got the office parties,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: and then all this stuff happening until the holiday season,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Christmas parties, and next thing you know, it's New Year
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: Christmas Eve. Now you don't want to eat right because
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you want to enjoy yourself again. Next then next thing
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: you know, now here come New Year's even want to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: enjoy yourself in and drink like you want to drink
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: and do all the things, and you end up having
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: to have these resolutions because now you've packed on an
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: extra fifteen just over the holidays. You've overextended yourself money
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: wise over the holidays, buying gifts and stuff. So now
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: you make a new financial resolution every year. You make
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: a new weight loss resolution every year. And so I
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: just decided that whenever I wanted to do something, I
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: would just started immediately. Like I kind of watched what
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: I ate over the holidays. Now I did I enjoy myself? Yes?
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: I did. Did I overindulge a couple of days? I did,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: because it was it was like the day after Christmas.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: I actually couldn't eat no more like the day after Christmas,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Like when it was time for breakfast, I saw no
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: need for breakfast. I mean, where I'm gonna put it?
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I ain't all Christmas night Kate path. Right then I
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: got a little attitude because we had a sweeper tat
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: the pie and the kids came over and ate and
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: ate the whole pote. Oh man, you know the ones
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: that don't live that, which is none of them. Then
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I walk in there about ten thirty. I'm watching TV.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: I going there at ten thirty, pie pan empty. So
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I was having some evil thoughts then you ever wanted
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: to hurt somebody, you know, I was having Oh so
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: y'all gonna act like y'all they never wanted to hurt
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: nobody over no pie. It's just you. It's just you.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Ain't ever had your mind set on something, and then
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: you're going there and this gone. Yeah. First, have you
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: ever have you ever cut a piece? Put it under
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: cell of fane, Put it in the corner of the cabinet,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Put it over the corner
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: of the counter. Put it on the cellophane. Slice of
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: cake I cut, come in all the pag on and
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: that slice gone. Now ain't no good hair. Well, if
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: it's under saucer, under some cellophane, you know, somebody put
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: that over there. Cake. Don't come to your house on
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: your saucer under cellophane. I had that talk. I had
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: a couple of other issues with my grandson Noah. I
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: discovered that I was calling him Venom for a while.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: He's a Venom is not a superhero. I think Venom
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: is a feeling. It might be a superhero, I'm not sure.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: So he was Venom all the way up to Christmas,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: and then after Christmas. I didn't know it, and he
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: came and he hugged man. I said venom, and he
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: pushed off of it. I'm not bending, Papa, I'm Connage.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: So now he's Connage, but he still has the Venom shirt.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: So when he runs up to me, I keep forgetting
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to call him Connage because his little lass likes to
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: wear the black Venom T shirt. So he and I
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: have fallen out and we're not close anymore because I
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: can't seem to remember to call his name Connage because
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: he's venom and he am strong word for damn. Don't
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: look like he could save off nobody. So well, his
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: little lass wants to be either one. He needs to
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: be boss baby or something like that. Those other things
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: we're going to Also, my youngest grandchild son, Ezra, had COVID.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: He called the cod and uh and uh. He was
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: having some symptoms. He was feeling a little down and everything. So,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: you know, the other kids in the house talking about
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: so how you are gonna quarantine ez well Ezra too,
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: I mean, what can you how do you give how
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: you quarantine two year olds? Somebody got to stay with him.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: He can't cook, you know, he really quite pitty train,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: not an ally he ain't committed to it. Then the
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: sickness and kind of got him. So now he got
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: a mask on. So the other day he sees me
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: in the house and he see me go pop on.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: He come running to me. I took off running another
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: way because the little lass got covid or his little
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: lass was standing in the hallway. Crime was running from him.
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: I can't catch covid, musund your little lass. So I
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: just wanted to do Those are my clothing remarks, and
