- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them like theming bus things and it's not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve to mother, stay don't joy. You gotta use
- 0:59Speaker 1: that turn you are. You got to turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out, love, got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water, come come on your back. Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show well, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:06Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. Man o man o, man wow.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think about all the things God has done for
- 2:19Speaker 1: me is overwhelming at times. And I want everybody to
- 2:23Speaker 1: have that feeling and to sharing that feeling of completion
- 2:27Speaker 1: and satisfaction. And the only reason I got this, and
- 2:30Speaker 1: it's the thousandth time I've said it, is because I
- 2:34Speaker 1: formed a relationship with my creator. Period. That's it. That's it.
- 2:39Speaker 1: That's it. I can't tell you as anything else else.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, I've always had a strong work ethic. My
- 2:44Speaker 1: father put that in me. My father's conversations with me
- 2:48Speaker 1: growing up was always constantly about work hard, don't be lazy,
- 2:52Speaker 1: be a man, do what you say you're gonna do YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 2:56Speaker 1: YadA YadA. Man. I was so tired of my father
- 2:58Speaker 1: at times. I was going, Man, is with this dude
- 3:01Speaker 1: right here? Man, every time we have a conversation, it's
- 3:04Speaker 1: got to be about work. It's got to be about
- 3:06Speaker 1: you know, man, doing your best, trying hard, you know, working,
- 3:11Speaker 1: being honest, do what you say you're gonna do. But
- 3:14Speaker 1: that was his mission. I can't tell you how much
- 3:18Speaker 1: I appreciate that now. I can't even I can't even
- 3:22Speaker 1: put it into words when I think about my old
- 3:24Speaker 1: man and what he was to me, and I just saw, Man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for that balance I had in my life.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And then my father was a fighter. He fought on
- 3:37Speaker 1: the weekends. You know. My father used to come home
- 3:41Speaker 1: with his with his clothes toe off of him. He
- 3:44Speaker 1: put a fresh shirt on and he go back. My
- 3:47Speaker 1: mom used to talk about my father fighting all the times, Nick,
- 3:49Speaker 1: why you are always fighting? You know a little bit
- 3:53Speaker 1: of that rubbed off on me too, you know that
- 3:55Speaker 1: that kind of got into me and I didn't understand
- 3:57Speaker 1: that either. But then on the same hern, my mother
- 4:00Speaker 1: was a Sunday school teacher for forty years, so her
- 4:03Speaker 1: conversation was never about fighting or anything. It was all
- 4:06Speaker 1: about love and understanding and doing another that you would
- 4:09Speaker 1: add them do unto you. My mom was a Sunday
- 4:11Speaker 1: school teacher, so I learned about faith. I had to
- 4:14Speaker 1: go to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young people meeting,
- 4:18Speaker 1: choir reheard, so you know, I was a churchman so
- 4:21Speaker 1: much I was actually looking that's got to be an
- 4:24Speaker 1: alternative to this, you know, I want you know. And
- 4:27Speaker 1: I was a little kid even I was thinking at
- 4:30Speaker 1: one point maybe all to looking all because it's got
- 4:32Speaker 1: to be something cooler than this going on every day.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It got that crazy for me. But the balance between
- 4:39Speaker 1: those two people created who I am today. And I
- 4:43Speaker 1: want you to understand that the things that you are
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your past have helped create who you are today.
- 4:49Speaker 1: If you view it the right way, everything that has
- 4:54Speaker 1: happened to you in your past has happened to you
- 4:57Speaker 1: for a reason, and it's usually for the good if
- 5:01Speaker 1: you view it that way. But if you, on the
- 5:06Speaker 1: other hand, or a type of person who can't move
- 5:08Speaker 1: forward because you are allowing your past to stop you
- 5:12Speaker 1: from having your future, then you, my friend, are doing
- 5:17Speaker 1: a disservice to your life. You are not honoring God's blessings.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You are not taking advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom,
- 5:28Speaker 1: and experience of your life. Example, if you are a
- 5:34Speaker 1: woman and you are always talking about a former relationship,
- 5:41Speaker 1: what he did to me. If he had not did
- 5:45Speaker 1: this to me, I wouldn't be in this place today.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I thought I had a man. Nah, I ain't got
- 5:53Speaker 1: no man. Ah la la la la la. If you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: he came along and I was doing just swell, he
- 6:01Speaker 1: just came in and he just lied to me. He
- 6:05Speaker 1: lied to me. Now that he did this to me,
- 6:07Speaker 1: Then he cheated, then he left. All of that that
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're saying can very well be true. Have you thought
- 6:17Speaker 1: that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom, that he
- 6:25Speaker 1: knew that you had made a mistake in picking him anyway?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Maybe he knew you had made a mistake in saying
- 6:34Speaker 1: yes or I do to him anyway, or come on,
- 6:38Speaker 1: move in? And so what he did was based on
- 6:45Speaker 1: your decision now to say yes, I do, or come on,
- 6:49Speaker 1: let's move in together. That was your decision. You ain't
- 6:52Speaker 1: go to him about this one. You made this decision
- 6:56Speaker 1: based on that decision and all the negative things that's
- 7:00Speaker 1: sarted happening. He allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Now how you got away from it? It's always not
- 7:07Speaker 1: the choice of ours. See, you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 1: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:14Speaker 1: share this with you. When he was there, How good
- 7:17Speaker 1: was he to you? How good was he for you? See?
- 7:21Speaker 1: You got to you got to stare. You got to
- 7:24Speaker 1: look at the blessing. The blessing is. Now you are
- 7:28Speaker 1: on your own. Now you walk in your house. Ain't
- 7:31Speaker 1: nobody in there with a disruptive spirit. Now you go home.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You could take your clothes off and walk around like
- 7:37Speaker 1: you want to. Now you go home, you can sit
- 7:41Speaker 1: down and look at TV or catch your breath if
- 7:44Speaker 1: you want to. Your kids don't have to see y'all
- 7:48Speaker 1: arguing all the time. Have you looked at the blessing
- 7:52Speaker 1: in it? But now if you're gonna keep looking at
- 7:55Speaker 1: the negative, then guess what. Now you can't move forward
- 8:00Speaker 1: because you keep allowing your pass to keep you from
- 8:04Speaker 1: moving forward. If God has brought you through it, why
- 8:08Speaker 1: don't you move on from it? Look, you got through it.
- 8:13Speaker 1: He gone, He ain't coming back. He got somebody else,
- 8:17Speaker 1: So you're gonna sit there and just keep tripping costs.
- 8:19Speaker 1: He gone and he got somebody else. Ain't pick yourself up.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Thank God for the blessing. It didn't feel like a blessing.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Why you was going through it, and all the pain
- 8:30Speaker 1: of him leaving and the divorce and all that messed
- 8:33Speaker 1: you up? Got it when you get through it, all
- 8:35Speaker 1: of that. You ain't the first one being left. You
- 8:38Speaker 1: ain't the first woman been divorced. You ain't the first
- 8:41Speaker 1: one been in a bad relationship. Pick yourself up, Thank
- 8:45Speaker 1: God for the blessing, and move forward in your life,
- 8:49Speaker 1: because maybe when you quit complaining, maybe you'll find out
- 8:54Speaker 1: that God has something in store for you that he
- 8:57Speaker 1: wants you to have, but he can't give it to
- 9:00Speaker 1: you if you ain't grateful. So God gives you a blessing,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but because you don't see it as a blessing, you
- 9:06Speaker 1: ain't grateful for it. Now, guess what, You steady asking
- 9:10Speaker 1: God to do something for you, but you ain't thanking
- 9:12Speaker 1: him for what he's done for you, but you steady
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanting him to do more. How does that work? How
- 9:19Speaker 1: does that work? Man? That He should keep on giving
- 9:22Speaker 1: you things when you ain't even working with the stuff
- 9:24Speaker 1: he didn't gave you, And I don't know, and I'm
- 9:28Speaker 1: just I'm just using that one example. It could go
- 9:30Speaker 1: for me and too, vice versa, and so on and
- 9:33Speaker 1: so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now,
- 9:36Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 9:39Speaker 1: that out with God? That's all just three. I ain't
- 9:42Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been guilty
- 9:45Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I? But
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:54Speaker 1: interfere with my future. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. It
- 10:04Speaker 1: is here, this day hasn't risen, and oh my god,
- 10:09Speaker 1: we have been allowed to get here with it. I mean,
- 10:14Speaker 1: what better gift, what better moment to have than the present?
- 10:20Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, today is here. Don't you get it?
- 10:24Speaker 1: Don't you see that you should have this attitude when
- 10:27Speaker 1: you wake up in the morning. Please understand, man, this
- 10:32Speaker 1: is not a given. This is a gift. That's why
- 10:36Speaker 1: they call it the present, and we are here for it.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm over joy. I'm over john. I can't
- 10:42Speaker 1: take it. I'm about the Boss. I'm telling you right, Nah,
- 10:47Speaker 1: Shelly's John Barry, Happy Friday, Steve Colin Farrell The Morning

- 11:06Speaker 1: mister Harvey. What's going on with Yack Nephew? Tommy Friday
- 11:14Speaker 1: love a fan read You're good? You're good? Hey, Junior?
- 11:19Speaker 1: Who is that? Oh? Boy, do you know I know
- 11:22Speaker 1: who that is? Come on, boy, a group from the
- 11:31Speaker 1: Redness made missed this. I just I just gave it
- 11:35Speaker 1: to you. I know it a con hit it one
- 11:39Speaker 1: of them. Oh huh, you've been singing them all the
- 11:45Speaker 1: Oh you know that the Rotators? What I mean, the Spinners.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you know, I'm sorry. He got it right, Steve,
- 12:02Speaker 1: he did right, Yeah, he said the Rotators first half
- 12:09Speaker 1: a point. That'd be like if I called Jody see
- 12:11Speaker 1: jacket jail. No, man, you I'm telling you, that's gonna
- 12:22Speaker 1: be something we're gonna do. We're gonna call it. Tommy
- 12:26Speaker 1: had the idea the other day music music homework, musical
- 12:32Speaker 1: homework homework, so teachers somewhere like that, that's gonna be
- 12:37Speaker 1: the new bit that we're gonna work home and he
- 12:41Speaker 1: definitely in class one on one. Yeah, I'll tell you
- 12:45Speaker 1: something about medial tim. I tell you something we used
- 12:50Speaker 1: to do I thought was kind of cool, but it
- 12:52Speaker 1: didn't it didn't last long. Was when we used to
- 12:55Speaker 1: do the speed trivia. We used to race each other
- 12:59Speaker 1: with cho Yeah, yeah, that was good. I thought it
- 13:07Speaker 1: was good for a period. Junie m You know, so
- 13:09Speaker 1: I took too many hills and we in the stops,
- 13:11Speaker 1: so a loser always it was going so well. Junior
- 13:21Speaker 1: got in he star winning the hills. Man. It was good,
- 13:31Speaker 1: see because I was comfortable when I didn't when I
- 13:34Speaker 1: don't know nothing, I'm upable with it. Yeah, we gotta
- 13:38Speaker 1: coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, asked
- 13:41Speaker 1: the CLO. You're listening to st Morning show time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: for asked the CLO Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey in
- 13:51Speaker 1: the building, This one is from Choo Choo. I love
- 13:54Speaker 1: that name, Choo Choo in the DMV Choochi Rights. I've
- 13:58Speaker 1: been back and forth to my son in school since
- 14:00Speaker 1: school started. Because my son is being disruptive. I call
- 14:04Speaker 1: the corporate office and told them their staff is incompetent
- 14:07Speaker 1: and I shouldn't be disturbed at work. I have reprimanded him,
- 14:11Speaker 1: put him in time out, and taken all of his
- 14:13Speaker 1: electronics from him. The director of the school insinuated that
- 14:17Speaker 1: my wife and I can't control our son. Our son
- 14:20Speaker 1: is only six years old and he starts grade school soon.
- 14:23Speaker 1: What am I supposed to do with this kid? Is
- 14:26Speaker 1: spanking the next best thing? First thing? Really, don't, I don't,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I don't argument know what to tell you, but don't
- 14:35Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't let this school. What's the title
- 14:38Speaker 1: of the person at the school? The school, oh, the
- 14:43Speaker 1: principle whatever, or the director of the school is the
- 14:49Speaker 1: director of the school. Don't let him get you sent
- 14:51Speaker 1: to prison. Okay, it's spanking the next thing. Don't don't
- 14:58Speaker 1: worry about that, Ray, it's your children. You're gonna have
- 15:01Speaker 1: to be a little bit. There's something missing him. Something
- 15:04Speaker 1: is wrong because children want approval, and children do want
- 15:09Speaker 1: to make you proud mostly all children want that. So
- 15:13Speaker 1: there's something else going on when you take the electronics
- 15:17Speaker 1: and all this hell. Now, if you're taking electronics ain't working,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and time out ain't working, and shut your mouth ain't working,
- 15:29Speaker 1: then me what I'm gonna do is. I'm gonna get
- 15:31Speaker 1: your undivided attention out of that. Since you don't listen,
- 15:37Speaker 1: let me see how you feel. Okay, maybe the school
- 15:44Speaker 1: work is too easy for him and he's bored and
- 15:47Speaker 1: he's acting out in class because he needs to be
- 15:51Speaker 1: challenged a little bit. Yeah that's good, that's good. But
- 15:57Speaker 1: I've never had that happen to me, so I wouldn't
- 15:59Speaker 1: know how up the school was easy for me. Thing,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't know what that is. So I but the
- 16:08Speaker 1: school's responsibility, No, it's just not it's but see, that's
- 16:13Speaker 1: what's wrong. These kids send these half ass behaved kids
- 16:18Speaker 1: up to the school and then they want to teach
- 16:20Speaker 1: us to turn turn around and turn out this a student.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Well you didn't send them an a student. See, you
- 16:27Speaker 1: can't expect the children. The school's job is not to
- 16:31Speaker 1: raise your children, right right, They're supposed to be that
- 16:35Speaker 1: just to help them get an education. But if this
- 16:37Speaker 1: little ass, this little booty booty boy, I don't want
- 16:44Speaker 1: to do you need to whoop his ass. Let's go.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry as I've been started my ass from way
- 16:50Speaker 1: for six son, didn't didn't your mama get all your
- 16:54Speaker 1: shirt in her hand and six just as much as
- 16:57Speaker 1: she could shirt skin fabric. I've in my mama's hand before,
- 17:07Speaker 1: and my mama went straight to ass whoop and there
- 17:09Speaker 1: was nothing to take away from me. I didn't have
- 17:12Speaker 1: anything straight straight too, as you didn't take, then do
- 17:20Speaker 1: take all? Right? We're moving on, Missy and Canton, Ohio says,
- 17:28Speaker 1: I'm an activities director at a nursing home and I
- 17:31Speaker 1: have one dirty old black man that keeps harassing me.
- 17:34Speaker 1: He's eighty one, and every day he asked me to
- 17:36Speaker 1: show him just one of my breasts so he could
- 17:39Speaker 1: die happy. He loves to say that he could die
- 17:43Speaker 1: at any time and it will be on my conscience
- 17:45Speaker 1: if I don't show it to him. Yesterday he pulled
- 17:48Speaker 1: down his shorts and gave me the shock of my life.
- 17:51Speaker 1: He is humongous and very proud of it. I reported
- 17:55Speaker 1: him several times before, but my supervisor responds like, it's
- 17:59Speaker 1: my fault. What do I do? Eighty one? He don't
- 18:04Speaker 1: care what you're gonna do to it, Uncle Gulf, What
- 18:07Speaker 1: what you're gonna do to him? So you can't do nothing?
- 18:11Speaker 1: So you know, you know I could. I have some suggestions.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Come on, I mean, she's as well, if you pull
- 18:22Speaker 1: his pants down and throw ice cold water on it,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I can promise you it ain't gonna stay here more.
- 18:29Speaker 1: It hasn't. Not Donna do him like that. You know
- 18:33Speaker 1: this old ass, nasty ass, old man. You gotta see
- 18:36Speaker 1: them and take this mass though somebody's cold water. Then
- 18:39Speaker 1: the turtle show up the n See boy, well, he
- 18:45Speaker 1: owned his way out. He said he could die bye
- 18:50Speaker 1: by this woman. Ain't got to sit up in the deal.
- 18:54Speaker 1: And they don't die my die that's for damn show
- 19:00Speaker 1: m all right. You got to please him because he
- 19:04Speaker 1: fitting to leave him. Just show me one he did
- 19:07Speaker 1: won one. Just not asking for both of him. He's
- 19:11Speaker 1: asking for he's getting a damn thing. No, ja die unhappy.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Why don't you take you and auta condo and go
- 19:24Speaker 1: buy you something somewhere, all right, lasting your check and
- 19:31Speaker 1: help your damn self. This woman, they gotta do nothing
- 19:33Speaker 1: for you. No, he could die any day. Yeah, all right,
- 19:38Speaker 1: Pam and Charlotte, we're moving on. Pam and Charlotte says,
- 19:41Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that is seventeen years older,
- 19:44Speaker 1: and he used to date my mother. My mother and
- 19:46Speaker 1: I have never seen eye to eye on a lot
- 19:48Speaker 1: of things. Wait a minute, she said she's dating a man.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yeah she's No, she's married to him. I'm married to
- 19:54Speaker 1: a man that is seventeen years older, and he used
- 19:56Speaker 1: to date my mother. My mother and I have never
- 20:00Speaker 1: seen eye to eye on a lot of things because
- 20:02Speaker 1: she is very disrespectful to my grandmother when I was younger.
- 20:06Speaker 1: My grandmother raised me, so she's more of a mom
- 20:09Speaker 1: to me. Whenever my husband and I have a disagreement,
- 20:12Speaker 1: he likes to tell me that I'm just like my
- 20:14Speaker 1: crazy mama. I don't like him talking about her or
- 20:17Speaker 1: comparing her to me. How do I stop him from
- 20:21Speaker 1: bringing my mom's name up all the time? Wait a minute,
- 20:24Speaker 1: Wait a minute. You married a man, excuse me, that
- 20:28Speaker 1: was dating your mother and you don't want him bringing
- 20:32Speaker 1: up your mama? What candid disfunctional mass is this? So
- 20:39Speaker 1: you knew this was a man that your mother dated.
- 20:44Speaker 1: We can't help you, Hill. We all know how y'all
- 20:47Speaker 1: gotten married, why y'all gotten married? But disfunction continue? All right?
- 20:54Speaker 1: Thank you, ciel Coming up next, it is the nephew
- 20:57Speaker 1: would run that frank back right after this. You're listening
- 21:01Speaker 1: to say morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:04Speaker 1: the hour, miss Anne is standing by with today's national news.

- 21:15Speaker 1: next hour, Anthony Hamilton. Anthony Hamilton will be our very
- 21:20Speaker 1: special guest. We cannot wait for Anthony Hamilton. But right now, yes,
- 21:25Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is here to run that prank back.
- 21:28Speaker 1: What you got for a snaff It is a wedding
- 21:32Speaker 1: with butcher. Yeah, everybody has a butcher in the family.
- 21:38Speaker 1: There's no way that you do. Yes, no way, you
- 21:43Speaker 1: don't have a butcher in your family. This right, here's
- 21:45Speaker 1: a wedding with butcher. Let's go cat. Hello, I'm trying
- 21:51Speaker 1: to I'm trying to reach Alan. How you doing this? Butcher? Man? Butcher? Yeah?
- 21:58Speaker 1: You was? You was at the cook out of the
- 22:00Speaker 1: day with the family. I'm I'm Christian's course, okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeo,
- 22:06Speaker 1: y'all was that you was at the cook out the
- 22:08Speaker 1: of the day. I wanted to reach out to y'all.

- 22:16Speaker 1: You you ready for that? Yeah? Okay, Well, hey man,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I got a little bit of a problem that. You know,
- 22:25Speaker 1: we kind of wanted to call you about, you know,
- 22:27Speaker 1: because the family got together and had a little meeting
- 22:30Speaker 1: like and what the deal is is this here? I know,

- 30:32Speaker 1: little ditty, hit It, Hit It. I watched the Hip
- 30:47Speaker 1: Hop Awards from beginning the end. To understand what they said,

- 31:53Speaker 1: because everybody up there had a million soul. A good
- 32:02Speaker 1: show though I know y'all talked about it earlier, but
- 32:04Speaker 1: it was really good. The production, Uh eighty five South
- 32:08Speaker 1: did a really good job. It was bad boys, man,
- 32:11Speaker 1: they were having fun. Yeah. To dude with the suitcase,
- 32:16Speaker 1: what is his name and what's in the suitcase? He
- 32:21Speaker 1: got a special award. He had a like a hat on,

- 32:58Speaker 1: They always turned Tyler the creator. Oh yes, yeah, what
- 33:06Speaker 1: do you got more creations in the good job? All right,
- 33:19Speaker 1: love it, all right, come on, Steve it it's time
- 33:22Speaker 1: now for today's headline. Ladies and gentlemen, miss Anne trip,
- 33:27Speaker 1: thank you, and good morning everyone. This is a trip
- 33:30Speaker 1: with the news. Well, it took a nighttime vote overnight,
- 33:33Speaker 1: but the US Senate ended its partisans stalemate last night
- 33:37Speaker 1: over hiking the debt ceiling, agreeing to a temporary extension,
- 33:40Speaker 1: a short one that makes another cliffhanging budget showdown in
- 33:44Speaker 1: December very very likely, like December third or so. So
- 33:47Speaker 1: it's pushed up a little bit, but it's not over. Meanwhile,
- 33:50Speaker 1: the House, which is out of session next week, still
- 33:53Speaker 1: needs to pass a similar measure before the US Treasury
- 33:55Speaker 1: to faults on October eighteenth, and of course, any measure
- 33:58Speaker 1: to lift a death ceiling going to be signed by
- 34:01Speaker 1: the President. President Biden, speaking of which was in a
- 34:04Speaker 1: place called Elk Grove, Illinois, yesterday, continuing his crusade to
- 34:08Speaker 1: persuade Americans to get vaccinated against COVID nineteen. For folks
- 34:12Speaker 1: who haven't gotten vaccinated, get it done. Do the right thing.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You can save your life. You can save lives of
- 34:18Speaker 1: those around you. The unvaccinated over crowd our hospitals, overrunning
- 34:23Speaker 1: emergency rooms and intensive care units. The unvaccinated patients are
- 34:28Speaker 1: leaving no room for someone with a heart attack or
- 34:30Speaker 1: in need of a cancer operation, and so much more
- 34:33Speaker 1: because they can't get into the ICU, they can't get
- 34:36Speaker 1: into the operating room. There are un estimated sixty million
- 34:39Speaker 1: unvaccinated Americans, with the delta varian surges in some parts
- 34:43Speaker 1: of the country overwhelming local healthcare systems. Good news. One
- 34:47Speaker 1: of the oldest and deadliest infectious diseases is malaria. Scientists
- 34:52Speaker 1: that come up though with a vaccine, which by one estimate,
- 34:54Speaker 1: saves tens of thousands of children's lives every year. Malaria
- 34:58Speaker 1: kills about a half a million people every year, nearly
- 35:00Speaker 1: all of them in Sub Saharan Africa, among them about
- 35:03Speaker 1: a two hundred and sixty thousand children. The new vaccine
- 35:06Speaker 1: is called most carricks, and the World Health Association has
- 35:10Speaker 1: endorsed that that's great news. The pharmacool company Maderna get
- 35:14Speaker 1: This says it intends to build a facility in Africa
- 35:17Speaker 1: to produce its COVID nineteen vaccine. Maderna Serum uses sophisticated
- 35:21Speaker 1: technology developed with the US government funding. They said they're
- 35:24Speaker 1: looking for a site right now. Okay, good news here.
- 35:28Speaker 1: In the fight for gun control, the governors of four
- 35:31Speaker 1: northeastern states, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania have
- 35:36Speaker 1: agreed to start sharing information about purchases of firearms to
- 35:39Speaker 1: help ferret out so called store buyers and other people
- 35:42Speaker 1: committing gun crimes. They're going to just keep the information
- 35:45Speaker 1: among them within law enforcement officials. And finally, well, if
- 35:50Speaker 1: you love Tina or Anime Bullock, you'll be happy to
- 35:53Speaker 1: know that she just sold her solo song catalog to
- 35:56Speaker 1: music company BMG for at least a rumored fifty million dollars,
- 35:59Speaker 1: maybe more than that. Tina, by the way, will be
- 36:01Speaker 1: inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on
- 36:04Speaker 1: October thirtieth as a solo artist. She was inducted as
- 36:07Speaker 1: part of the Vicentina in nineteen ninety when she lives
- 36:09Speaker 1: in Europe with her husband. Now back to the Steve
- 36:11Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening all right, everybody asked promise
- 36:17Speaker 1: our very very special guests this morning. As a Grammy

- 38:03Speaker 1: that's what I did. You know, It's amazing what these
- 38:07Speaker 1: artists like this have all the talent know how, and
- 38:11Speaker 1: they put an album together and they decide what they
- 38:13Speaker 1: want to release, and they go sit in the meeting
- 38:15Speaker 1: and then some people that don't know damn thing about
- 38:17Speaker 1: it go, well, we want this, we need to be leading,
- 38:20Speaker 1: and you'll be gonna lobby down. Don't you think I
- 38:24Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about. Basically, That's how it is. Yeah,
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's that's how it is. You know, they could in
- 38:30Speaker 1: the office all day. I never never go to a
- 38:33Speaker 1: black concert, never go anywhere near it. I want to
- 38:37Speaker 1: dictable what we like and what we deserve. Yeah, hey man,

- 39:05Speaker 1: It's absolutely amazing. What we need to hear it absolutely amazing. Well, well,
- 39:15Speaker 1: where we got a little situation if we make it,
- 39:18Speaker 1: we got we got a few situations on this album. Okay,

- 39:29Speaker 1: Anthony introducing, So y'all when we come back to Legend,
- 39:32Speaker 1: Anthony Hamilton to be with us. We're gonna hit a

- 44:30Speaker 1: Nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're
- 44:34Speaker 1: listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 44:39Speaker 1: of the hour. Right about four minutes after, it's my
- 44:41Speaker 1: strawberry letter for today. The subject is he smacks and
- 44:46Speaker 1: makes too much noise. We'll get into that in just
- 44:49Speaker 1: a little bit, but right now, the Nephew is here
- 44:53Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. What you got for is
- 44:55Speaker 1: nev I got check settlements, fix settlement. I don't sound
- 45:00Speaker 1: too crazy, right, listen with people's money, with people's money
- 45:04Speaker 1: text settlement. All right, let's take it a look. Come on,
- 45:07Speaker 1: cat do thank you? Hello, right, I'm trying to reach out.
- 45:12Speaker 1: Let's place. How you doing? It's attorney over the associates.
- 45:17Speaker 1: All right, I want to give you a call. I
- 45:19Speaker 1: just got your file that hit my desk and we
- 45:22Speaker 1: got a check going out to you on Monday. You
- 45:24Speaker 1: came in yesterday, correct, Yes, Okay, listen, we got a
- 45:27Speaker 1: few little glitches here. We want to grow over with.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I want to grow over whether you make sure we
- 45:32Speaker 1: get this all ironed out before you come in on Monday,
- 45:35Speaker 1: and I'll have a check definitely waiting on you when
- 45:37Speaker 1: you get here. All right, you're supposed to be getting
- 45:41Speaker 1: six thousand, four hundred and ten dollars, Unfortunately as being
- 45:45Speaker 1: reduced to twelve hundred due to injuries not being as
- 45:49Speaker 1: as bad as they say it was. A lot of
- 45:51Speaker 1: calculations got really mixed up on our paperwork here. And
- 45:54Speaker 1: please keep in mind that on the twelve hundred, we
- 45:56Speaker 1: still haven't taken out our fee, which is like about
- 45:58Speaker 1: thirty three and a third. We'll have a check for
- 46:01Speaker 1: you on Monday in the ballpark or four to five
- 46:03Speaker 1: hundred dollars. Hold on, hold hold up, okay, I'm still
- 46:06Speaker 1: like getting it. So what was the total month that
- 46:09Speaker 1: y'all got from the law from the from the should
- 46:13Speaker 1: Evidently the person that did these calculations completely did them wrong.
- 46:17Speaker 1: And I do apologize for this being a mishap on
- 46:20Speaker 1: our part and it's totally screwed up, and I do
- 46:23Speaker 1: apologize on the behalf of the of the association here
- 46:26Speaker 1: that we've dropped the ball on that. But your actual
- 46:29Speaker 1: check has been reduced to twelve hundred dollars, okay, And
- 46:33Speaker 1: that's without us taking the law fees out of it.
- 46:35Speaker 1: So I think it's feel right because how was six
- 46:40Speaker 1: thousand dollars cover the doctor field and the car practice. Well,
- 46:44Speaker 1: from my understanding, man, what they're also stating is that
- 46:46Speaker 1: your injuries are not that bad. And I don't want
- 46:49Speaker 1: to be the bear of bad news. They're actually wondering
- 46:52Speaker 1: if you were actually hurt at all, solely because I
- 46:55Speaker 1: even had to get injections okay from the practice okay,
- 46:59Speaker 1: And and do you have any you I have some
- 47:01Speaker 1: medical documents here, and I understand that you've been going
- 47:04Speaker 1: and you probably look like you went over at least
- 47:06Speaker 1: at least two months going to the doctor and getting
- 47:09Speaker 1: and getting therapy. And that was his call. That was
- 47:13Speaker 1: a chiro practice. Car that wasn't my decision, okay. Well,
- 47:16Speaker 1: a lot of this call from out from my injury exactly,
- 47:19Speaker 1: and a lot a lot of these doctor fees and
- 47:21Speaker 1: that you've gone to as eating up eating up a
- 47:23Speaker 1: lot of these funds. And I tell you. These doctor bills,
- 47:26Speaker 1: they get pretty high out there. I do want to apologize.
- 47:29Speaker 1: What we're gonna do here, since we've dropped the ball
- 47:32Speaker 1: on this. We're gonna give you the check for twelve
- 47:34Speaker 1: hundred and not even take the law fees out of it,
- 47:36Speaker 1: and I'll have that check waiting on you on Monday morning.
- 47:39Speaker 1: That's still okay. I understand what you're saying. What I'm
- 47:42Speaker 1: trying to figure out is from the I need to
- 47:46Speaker 1: see some paperwork of saying stating what was the out
- 47:50Speaker 1: told them out check that was written from the insurance company,
- 47:54Speaker 1: plus what was a portion of supposed to be taking
- 47:56Speaker 1: out for the chi practor plus supportion was supposed to
- 47:58Speaker 1: be taking out from a doctors itself. My mouth that
- 48:01Speaker 1: you're telling me six thousand deaths wouldn't have covered that
- 48:05Speaker 1: and leave me with only twelve hundred. Okay, I'm not
- 48:07Speaker 1: at liberty to let you look at this paperwork anymore.
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm calling you basically to let you know I have
- 48:13Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars check for you. If you don't want that,
- 48:16Speaker 1: then you can go ahead and take some other league.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I mean, that doesn't sound of right who I mean
- 48:22Speaker 1: from the entire month because I got the paperwork from
- 48:25Speaker 1: the chiropractice stating where Mont was feed I understand that. Man,
- 48:29Speaker 1: I'm what I'm trying to let you know any issues
- 48:30Speaker 1: there there. What's going on right now is the response
- 48:33Speaker 1: coming back is that you're not actually hurt at all.
- 48:36Speaker 1: That's what they're saying. They're saying you're not hate at all. Actually,
- 48:40Speaker 1: I don't want to use the words, but they're saying
- 48:42Speaker 1: that you've been faking this the whole time. I need
- 48:44Speaker 1: to see some paperwork with FOTA to check it. It
- 48:47Speaker 1: doesn't sound right and that doesn't mean any sense. Well,
- 48:50Speaker 1: right now, you know, I'm the last person that that
- 48:52Speaker 1: this file is going to come across. It's coming across
- 48:54Speaker 1: my desk. This is pretty much a take it or
- 48:56Speaker 1: leave it option, you know. And if you don't don't
- 49:00Speaker 1: know now, I mean, you don't have to get add
- 49:02Speaker 1: to me because you are my lawyer. Now I'm you're
- 49:04Speaker 1: a client. Well, you're not gonna raise your voice. You're
- 49:07Speaker 1: not gonna raise your voice. Set me. That's not gonna
- 49:09Speaker 1: happen either. So let's let's pipe it down a bit. Okay,
- 49:13Speaker 1: Now here's what we're gonna do. Do you want the
- 49:16Speaker 1: twelve hundred dollars check? Or do you not want it? Now?
- 49:19Speaker 1: I've already wavered the fees of the of the attorneys here.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Do you want the twelve hundred or do you want
- 49:24Speaker 1: me to reduce it to four hundred? No, I don't
- 49:26Speaker 1: want twelve hunds because I'm gonna take you to court
- 49:28Speaker 1: because that is a term you me. He's supposed to
- 49:31Speaker 1: be my lawyer. I'm being the best attorney that you
- 49:33Speaker 1: probably could afford, young lady, okay, And I'm trying to
- 49:36Speaker 1: do the best I can to help you. Now, you
- 49:39Speaker 1: if if from what I understand is ye, I'm sorry,
- 49:41Speaker 1: that's not going to be acceptable. I just have to
- 49:44Speaker 1: get a lawyer to see you. That's not acceptable. You know,
- 49:47Speaker 1: you know you people continue to want to tell me
- 49:50Speaker 1: to offer yesterday when we came in, I didn't. I
- 49:54Speaker 1: wasn't there doing the meeting yesterday. Like I said, these
- 49:57Speaker 1: papers just landed on my desk today. What I'm not
- 49:59Speaker 1: going to tolerate is you people consistently wanting to file
- 50:04Speaker 1: a lawsuit on somebody. Now you want to file a
- 50:06Speaker 1: lawsuit on me. You know you're going way too far
- 50:09Speaker 1: with this. This isn't time. I want to talk to
- 50:13Speaker 1: I've never Okay, well now you've heard of me. I'm
- 50:20Speaker 1: and I work here as well. And I'm not gonna
- 50:22Speaker 1: stand you uh uh dismantling me the way that you're doing.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I just have to get a lawyer to sue you.
- 50:28Speaker 1: That's not accessible. I got one more thing. This is
- 50:30Speaker 1: nephew Timmy from Steve Harvey Martin Show. You just got pracked.
- 50:35Speaker 1: You got pracked by your husband. Oh, your humble told
- 50:43Speaker 1: me she's been waiting on that check. Yeah, I was
- 50:48Speaker 1: about to go by the little office. All right, baby,
- 50:54Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Tell Timmy, what is the
- 50:56Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land? Baby? Look here, get
- 51:02Speaker 1: your check? How meantime you've been waiting on that check?
- 51:09Speaker 1: But I meantime you don't walk to the mailbox. It
- 51:12Speaker 1: ain't in there. You just man keep going bag every
- 51:15Speaker 1: other day called down there. Try to get the date
- 51:20Speaker 1: it was cut. Yeah, one thing about and then the
- 51:23Speaker 1: date it was mailed. You need another date it was
- 51:27Speaker 1: mail yeah, and then the correct address, the tracking number,
- 51:34Speaker 1: all of that. Who who sent it out? I need
- 51:38Speaker 1: to know that. I need to know. You got to
- 51:40Speaker 1: verify the zip cold the address. See what you have
- 51:44Speaker 1: to your supervisor. How many arguments have you had with
- 51:48Speaker 1: the mail man about you? A lot? Yes, come on,
- 51:53Speaker 1: everybody else got mail, but you don't have my check.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I get that right up and down this damn street.
- 52:00Speaker 1: But wait a minute, you know this, we're all talking.
- 52:02Speaker 1: You see who's quiet over there? Never looking the mailbox
- 52:06Speaker 1: for you? Mater? Fact, matter of fact, I was just
- 52:10Speaker 1: over there. Ain't seen no mailbox over you yet? What
- 52:18Speaker 1: is it, sir? What about nah that you all do
- 52:24Speaker 1: your things? Yeah? Why do I have to be drugs
- 52:30Speaker 1: where I was? Nothing? We want to see from the
- 52:34Speaker 1: other side, that's what. Yeah. Have you ever had who's
- 52:41Speaker 1: going on? I know? Different as who still got mailbox?
- 52:48Speaker 1: I don't want fix it? Where is your mailbox? I
- 52:53Speaker 1: didn't see it when I was older? Wait? Have you
- 52:56Speaker 1: ever seen your mailman? You know? Have you ever gone
- 53:03Speaker 1: and got to me? What's the smallest check you've waited on?
- 53:06Speaker 1: What's the biggest check you've waited Oh? I waited on
- 53:12Speaker 1: dollars and I'm talking about first the longest way to
- 53:16Speaker 1: buy what the who if they don't seeing this money? Yeah?
- 53:26Speaker 1: And by the time that one five got to me,
- 53:30Speaker 1: I needed the other one eighty five right now. Oh
- 53:34Speaker 1: so you were living paycheck to paycheck. That's how before
- 53:38Speaker 1: I got it. We do that too. I had to
- 53:42Speaker 1: play it all out. Okay, Well, thanks for sharing, Steve,
- 53:45Speaker 1: Thank you just like us. Yes, all right? Coming up
- 53:51Speaker 1: next Strawberry Letter. Subject he smacks and makes too much noise.
- 53:56Speaker 1: We'll get into it right after this. You're listening Dave
- 54:00Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show time now for today's Strawberry Letter. And
- 54:04Speaker 1: if you need advice on relationships, dating, work, sex, parenting
- 54:08Speaker 1: and more, police submit your Strawberry letter to Steve Harvey
- 54:11Speaker 1: FM dot com and clickmit Strawberry letter. Because you never know,
- 54:18Speaker 1: we could be reading your letter live on the air
- 54:21Speaker 1: right here, right now. You just never know, right, You
- 54:24Speaker 1: just never know. Buckle imot, hold on tight. We got
- 54:27Speaker 1: it for you here. It is a straw Mary letta
- 54:30Speaker 1: thank you nephew. Subject he smacks and makes too much noise.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm forty six and I'm dating a
- 54:38Speaker 1: man that's forty seven, and we met through mutual friends.
- 54:41Speaker 1: We've been together for two months, but I feel like
- 54:44Speaker 1: you don't really know a guy until they stay overnight
- 54:47Speaker 1: with you. We decided it was time for sex and
- 54:50Speaker 1: he was very excited, and he said he would get
- 54:53Speaker 1: us a room at this historic end with a rooftop bar.
- 54:57Speaker 1: I was so ready for this night, because this man
- 55:00Speaker 1: is fine. I mean he is as fine as Terry Crews,
- 55:05Speaker 1: and his smile makes me melt. When we get to
- 55:09Speaker 1: the room, we got comfortable, and we went upstairs for
- 55:12Speaker 1: a drink, and we had appetizers. I could tell he
- 55:16Speaker 1: was nervous, and so was I. He'd had at least
- 55:19Speaker 1: three lemon drop martinis, and I suggested he'd get some
- 55:23Speaker 1: food in his system. He started talking with food in
- 55:26Speaker 1: his mouth and smacking very loudly. I tried politely to
- 55:31Speaker 1: get him to stop and tell him he was embarrassing me,
- 55:35Speaker 1: but he was too tipsy. I decided it was time
- 55:38Speaker 1: to get back to the room before he was too
- 55:40Speaker 1: drunk to do what we came to do. Unfortunately he was.
- 55:45Speaker 1: He'd dove across the bed and buried his head under
- 55:48Speaker 1: a pillow. I let him sleep while I took a shower.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I came out and he had opened the chocolate he
- 55:54Speaker 1: brought for us, and he was smacking it. I put
- 55:57Speaker 1: the chocolate away, and I was ready for the magic
- 56:00Speaker 1: to begin. He was very sloppy at everything he did
- 56:04Speaker 1: that night. He smacked his lips whenever he kissed me
- 56:08Speaker 1: on my mouth, neck, and other body parts. It was
- 56:12Speaker 1: loud and disgusting. Then he started making noises as if
- 56:16Speaker 1: he was running from a big dog and was about
- 56:19Speaker 1: to get bitten. I pray no one was next door
- 56:23Speaker 1: to us. Since he couldn't control himself. He was very
- 56:26Speaker 1: content when it was over and kept asking for more.
- 56:29Speaker 1: I was one and done. I pray he can do
- 56:32Speaker 1: a better job next time. How can I politely tell
- 56:35Speaker 1: him he's a bad lover. Well, since you're already planning
- 56:41Speaker 1: on a next time with him, I say, wait and
- 56:45Speaker 1: see how he handles himself next time. He may be
- 56:48Speaker 1: better once he's not full of all those lemon drop martinis.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Even though you said you were one and done, you're
- 56:56Speaker 1: still not ready to call it quits. Huh? Could it be?
- 56:59Speaker 1: Because he's a Terry Crews fine, and you know with
- 57:02Speaker 1: that great smile you talked about, and you're going to
- 57:05Speaker 1: overlook his bad performance. People you know, act deffinitely when
- 57:09Speaker 1: they get a little tipsy, when they get drunk. You
- 57:11Speaker 1: know how that goes. So I say, I think you're right.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Give him one more chance, this time with the one
- 57:17Speaker 1: drink minimum and some chicken wings or something, you know,
- 57:20Speaker 1: to soak up that soak up that alcohol. See how
- 57:24Speaker 1: he really gets down in the bedroom. Then when he's
- 57:26Speaker 1: sober and if it's still bad, you can either tell
- 57:29Speaker 1: him nicely what you'd like for him to do to you,
- 57:32Speaker 1: or you know, walk away, let him go. Those are
- 57:34Speaker 1: your choices, as far as I see it, Steve, I
- 57:38Speaker 1: would just start by saying, I don't really give a
- 57:40Speaker 1: damn about this letter. H I don't really, I don't
- 57:42Speaker 1: care if I help you, lady. I'm gonna just be
- 57:45Speaker 1: real with you. You know, you rode in something like
- 57:48Speaker 1: this right here, don't no nothing about this. I ain't
- 57:51Speaker 1: got nothing for you. But but since you rode in,
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know, let's just let's just look at your side
- 57:56Speaker 1: of it for a minute. You know, you know, you
- 58:00Speaker 1: just with this man. You he fought this seven. The
- 58:03Speaker 1: thing about him is you said he is fine as
- 58:06Speaker 1: Terry Crews, and he makes and his smile makes me melt.
- 58:12Speaker 1: You know. Man, when y'all up here and you got
- 58:14Speaker 1: in your little room and everything and got comfortable, you know,
- 58:18Speaker 1: you went up stairs for a drink. Now to hit
- 58:21Speaker 1: the mistake. I think you me. He told y'all, y'all
- 58:25Speaker 1: was going to a historic end. Don't historic me old
- 58:34Speaker 1: sound like I don't like, don't like going to like
- 58:37Speaker 1: plantations and slaves. That's what you like, you know, a
- 58:40Speaker 1: little old ass holed with columns in the front all
- 58:43Speaker 1: that look like look like. Master stated, I'm like going
- 58:47Speaker 1: down here to the damn history again. But you take
- 58:49Speaker 1: your ass down there, that's what you get. And you're
- 58:51Speaker 1: on the rooftop ball. That was nice, and you ready
- 58:54Speaker 1: for the night because he fined, and you know, y'all
- 58:57Speaker 1: got to the room, we got comfortable and went up
- 58:59Speaker 1: stairs for a drink. We had appetized. I could tell
- 59:03Speaker 1: he was nervous, and so was I. He had three
- 59:07Speaker 1: lemon drop martinings. I don't know what that is, but
- 59:10Speaker 1: you know it's lemon martini. I suggest he gets some
- 59:15Speaker 1: food in this system. Now he started talking with food
- 59:20Speaker 1: into his mouth and smacking very loudly. Now i'nna tell
- 59:24Speaker 1: you right now, they ain't got damn thing, dude being drunk,
- 59:27Speaker 1: that dude, you can't blame that on the three martinis.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I know people put food in their mouth and wait
- 59:35Speaker 1: till they put food in their mouth to start talking,
- 59:40Speaker 1: food falling out. And I had the driver one time
- 59:43Speaker 1: when I used to go on tour dude that Big
- 59:45Speaker 1: Larry and Big Larry would eat and like everything. You know.
- 59:50Speaker 1: I would go to simple places like cracker barrel and
- 59:52Speaker 1: stuff like that, and I just take everybody in the
- 59:54Speaker 1: drive everybody, and I just take him into the cracker barrel.
- 59:58Speaker 1: And he was a big dude, so he would sitting
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: he would be like his head would be about three
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: feet from the table because he had a lot of stue,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you know. And when he put food in his mouthpiece
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: to it grunt and make and he ground the whole
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: time music which I tried to sit next because it
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: was funny. It's hell with me, so I invited to
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: me just for that. I don't know, it has nothing
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: to do with this letter, because I don't really give
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: a damn about this letter. But when we come back,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you how to read this letter, as
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Terry Crews. All right, all right, Steve, hang on, we'll
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: have part two of your response coming up with twenty
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: three minutes after the subject of today's strawberry letter is
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: he smacks and makes two much noise. We'll get it
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: back into it right after you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Subject he smacks and makes too much. I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: really don't know how y'all feel, but I didn't even
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: write no notes on this letter because I really don't
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: care about this letter. I don't give a damn that
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: he's smack and making noise and nicks lifting all this hill.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: But here's where the problem. Anyway, he started talking with
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: food in his mouth, and this probably would have sounded
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: like dude started talking that food about smacked very loud.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: I tried to try to get him stopped telling you
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: ban asking me while he was being a little too tipsy,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: you know. So I decided it was time to get
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: back to the room before he was too drunk to
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: do what he came to do. Now, hold up, now
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: here's a woman who is in such a heated moment
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: that she got to harry up and get back to
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the womb before he gets too drunk to do what
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: y'all came to do. Unfortunately he was. He dove across
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: the bed and buried his head under the pillow. I
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: let him sleep a while, I took a shower, came out.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: He opened the chocolate he bought for he was smacking it.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: I put the chocolate away. I was ready for the
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: magic to begin. He was very sloppy at everything he
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: did that night. Now, a lot of people liked this,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: but you obviously it turned you on. He smacked his
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: lips whenever he kissed me. You know, if if you
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: got big lips, a lot of times, you can't help that.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: So I'm just I'm a witness to that. You have
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: big little people have trouble, so smack, you know, when
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: you don't even want to it that. You know, they
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: get stuck together. So sometimes Jeff to make puss sounds
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: something did They've heavy But anyway, so I ain't really
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: mad at him for that. But he smacked his lips
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: whenever he kissed me on my mouth. Maybe it tastes good.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: I don't know what. I don't know what he's doing,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: you know. Uh. And then and then he said, when
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: he kissed me on my mouth, neck and other body parts. Now,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I don't you know, ain't in your business like that.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I don't know what y'all doing, But you know, we
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: just met all his head and the half I'm just sharing,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: you know, So you're very fortunate that he was so
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: given to you. That night, it was loud and disgusting.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Then he started making noises that he was running from
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: a big dog and was about to get bit. Tommy,
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: how how ward that sound acting? Tommy? How would it
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: sounded for a man was running from a big dog
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: is about to get bit? What the man sound like? Yeah?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: What it sounds like when you running from a big
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: dog about to get bitten? What Jay, give me what
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: it sounds like? Or somebody running from a big dog
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: about to get bitten. When you're running from a big dog,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you're about to get bitten, you sound get away? You
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: can get away? And that could be annoying. That kid
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: kill braided down, never prayed it down. He'll let me
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: enjoying himself, he was. Yeah, now he's enjoying himself killed.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: But he's running from a big dog and about to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: get bidden. What would it sound like, mama, mama? Yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you don't nobody want to hear that when they're making
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: it up. Don't call for your mama, mama. Right now,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: here's one right here, and the people next don't can
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: hear that he gave me? He didn't give me. I
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: pray no one next door was next to us so
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: because he couldn't control himself. He was very content when
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: it was over and kept asking me for more. I
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: was one that done. I pray he could do a
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: better job next time. How can I politely tell him
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: he's a bad lover? You can't. There's no polite way
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: to tell him. Man that he can't get the job done.
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: You're gonna hurt if, you're gonna crush it. You're gonna
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: you're gonna bust his ego. You're gonna knock him down.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: It's over. Why would you want the bad lover again?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: It's my question next time? All this slob that this
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: was day one. He ain't even comfortable yet. Wait till
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: he get comfortable. You ain't seen win. You think he's
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: slopping now when he's sober? Yeah, you will, you will?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: You wait till he get comfortable. This wick gonna turn.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: This sloppy, gonna turn into slabling. I'm telling you right now,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: so you know, I don't really know. I don't really
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: like this letter. I don't really like this lady. The
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: dude discuss none of it. You don't like the historic
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: hotel like I didn't like that from the beginning. I
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: didn't like they had to go up on the rooftop
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to get drunk to go back to the room. Once
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I get you in that mood, we ain't going upstairs.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: You didn't like the Terry Crew fine reference. If he
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: that fine, he'd have some practice at this hill. True,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: he and here with all these rookie moves, you must
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: be the only one thing he find. I can bet
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: you here don't look like Ted Crew. I can tell
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: you right now, if I can make my breast jump
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: like that, they'll be jumping right now. I'll be on
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the zoom. Steve, shut up. Shut up, Shirley, Shirley, shut up.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: You see saying jumping like that, quick looking. I'm looking
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: at my help. But you're coming to work with no
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: shirt every day. You're sitting up in here just shirt naked.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: You're saying, just let it go. I'm glad just that old.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Don't go back for seconds. I'll go back to seconds.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Don't go back whatever, get used to it. Where all

- 1:10:28Speaker 1: pimpin coming up at the top of the hour, we'll
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: here we are with more information about that school shooting
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: that went on in Arlington, Texas from our home station
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: in Dallas, k r NB one oh five point seven.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: The young man's name was Timothy George sim Simpkins. He's eighteen.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: He's turned himself in after injuring four in a shooting
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: that happened Wednesday morning at timber View High School in Arlington, Texas.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: A spokesperson for the family said he was scared. He
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: was afraid. There's a video that's all out on social
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: media that shows he was being attacked. The young man
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: who had the gun was being attacked. It wasn't just
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: one person that would attack him and bully him and
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: take his money and harass him. And this was all
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: due to the fact that Simpkins had more things than
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: maybe these other kids. Harrison went on to say it
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: takes everyone to stand together against bullying. The family said
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: they're just they're not justifying what Simpkins did or his actions.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: They said what he did wasn't right, and they said
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: the family hopes police investigate properly and said there will
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: be independent investigations done as well. The family's message to
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: the victims of the shooting, we have to take a
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: look at the fact that bullying is real and it
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: takes us all We ask as a family for forgiveness
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: of any type of hurts. That's a rough story right there.
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: So really the little the eighteen year old took the
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: gun to school in self defense, right, right, But he
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: had been getting jumped on though repeated every day. Yeah,
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it's it's it's rough when you
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: have to resort to this to stop the bullying. But
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that it had been reported to the
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: proper people. But there's no real A lot of schools
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: don't have things in place to deal with these types
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: of things. And then the kids are under the pressure
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: also of snitching, which they've made that a social media
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: of death sentence, so to speak. You know, you're a
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: coward on a whole nother level if you snitch. So
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: these kids, oftentimes man and bullying is really really rough.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: Man on the recipient. These kids are living in teach
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: in a nightmare in hell. But like I say, even
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: if you tell them what did they do, you know,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: they don't really have policies for that. They don't they
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: don't do that. So I made I feel for the family.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I hate the fact that this young man had to
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: do that. But then that comes a time. Now when
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: you're acting in self defense, you know what something gonna happened. Now,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: the fact that he had a weapon is rough. If
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: it's wrong. He made the wrong decision to take a
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: gun to school. He made the wrong decision. Do that
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: that that's a true statement. Yeah, But the fact of
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the matter is the bullying is an ongoing thing in
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: these schools. These kids deal with a lot every single day.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Pandemic masks, all, all the stuff is gone. He made
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the wrong decision taking a gun to school, but the
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: day before that he didn't, got pistol whipped and wronged.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: That's right, you know they took money. Yeah, yeah, I understand.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: I know that's the wrong decision. But man, but but
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: but the decision that the boy made to pistol whip
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: him and take his money. See, ain't nothing happened to him? Yeah,
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: what happened to the discipline of the people that were
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: bullying this child? Where is it disciplined for that? I
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: don't understand why they were allowed to come back to
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: school if that in this case right here? You know
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: what I think should happen. I think they should put
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: this young man in counseling. I think they should put
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: him on probation. I think that that that'sipienlity. But I
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: think if you look at this world we live in,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: and that young man was standing his ground, as bad
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: of a decision as this was. You pistol whooped this
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: boy to Dave before they took his mind. This wasn't
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: the first time now they've been jumping on this boy steady. Yeah.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: And you know, and at first they made it look
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: like it was another man shooting, right, that's what. Yeah,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: they didn't tell you the whole story of how this
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: kid had been bullied and beaten up and robbed in
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: all of this, So you know, they and out mixed
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: messages when the story, you know, first came out. Now,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: all these details are coming out about how these kids
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: bullied him and beat him. Wow, we'll immediate needs to
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: tell the whole story. We need to tell the whole story.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: That's still it's so sad. All right. Um, we'll have
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys, in trending
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: breakfast news, there is a serial alert. Work at all
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: of the Kellogg Company's US cereal plants came to a
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: halt this week as roughly fourteen hundred workers went on strikes.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: That's right. Production is disrupted and grocery stores say, we
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: could see an impact and possibly run out of our
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: favorite brands of cereals like frosted flakes, like Raids and
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: brand Applejack's, Fruit Loop, Coco Crispies and Special k Kellogg. Yeah.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: The Kellogg workers dispute involves and of pay and benefit
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: issues such as the loss of premium health premium healthcare,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: holiday and vacation pay, and reduced retirement benefits. Wow. Um
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: the block friend to get Hotti got Jim Apple Jackson. Well,
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: they're gonna get the settled up in here called wants
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: some damn little kid start complaint right here, y'all. Don't
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: get these people some damn benefits. Yeah, give them what
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: they deserved. Worker said, management is. We're gonna say management
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: is flaky, and they're not gonna stand fun corn flaky.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Thinking of that, what what was your favorite cereal growing up, Steve?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: I was a sugar Chris Dude. I love sugar christ Okay,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I ain't like Captain Crunt because us to cut your
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: mouth put too much. All right, all right, we'll have
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Time now for
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: This one is from choo Chow. I love that name,
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: choo Chow. In the DMV, Choochu writes, I've been back
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: and forth to my son school since school started because
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: my son is being disruptive. I call the corporate office
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: and told them their staff is incompetent and I shouldn't
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: be disturbed at work. I have reprimanded him, put him
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: in time out, and taken all of his electronics from him.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: The director of the school insinuated that my wife and
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: I can't control our son. Our son is only six
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: years old and he starts grade school soon. What am
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: I supposed to do with this kid is spanking the
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: next best thing? First thing? Really, though, don't art what
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: to tell you, but don't listen to me. Don't let
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: this school. What's the title of the person at the school, principle, whatever, whoever?
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: The director of Yeah, the director of the school. Don't
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: let him get you sent to prison. Raise your children.
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: You're gonna have to be a little bit. There's something
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: missing him, Something is wrong, because children want approval, and
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: children do want to make you proud mostly all children
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: want that. So there's something else going on when you
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: take the electronics and all this hill. Now, if you're
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: taking the electronics ain't working, and time out ain't working,
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: and shut your mouth ain't working, then me what I'm
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: gonna do is I'm gonna get your undivided attention that
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: since you don't listen, let me see how you feel. Okay, Well,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: maybe the school work is too easy for him and
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: he's bored and he's acting out in class because he
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: needs to be challenged a little bit. Yeah that's good,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: that's real good. But I've never had that happened to me,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: so I don't wouldn't know how to uppead the school
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: was easy for me. Thing, I don't know what that is.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: So I but the responsibility, no, it's just not saying.
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: But see, that's what's wrong. These kids send these half
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: ass behaved kids up to the school and then they
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: want to teach us to turn turn around and turn
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: out this a student. Well you didn't send him a student. See,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: you can't expect the children. The school's job is not
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: to raise your children, right right, they're supposed to be
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: that just to help them get an education. But if
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: this little ass, this little boot booty boy, I don't
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: want to do you need to whoop his ass. Let's
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: go on. I've been started my ass from way fo
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: sick coming up. It is our last break of the day.
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: You got the last breakful, that's it, And at forty
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: nine minutes after the hour, we'll have some insightful, enlightening,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: inspiring closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: our fearless leader. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, here we are
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: on this Friday, last break of the day of the week. Wow.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: This world is ever changing, isn't it? Every single day?
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: My clothes are remarks today. I'm just telling you right now,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: you can disagree with me, if you like, ah, do
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: not care. You can have a different opinion of me,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: and that's perfectly fine. But these are my closing remarks.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: These are my thoughts after hearing this story about the
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: bullying incident that happened at our at our in Texas
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: and Arlington for our home station one Or and I
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: listened to the story. Now I just know the same
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: facts that you know. And because I don't live there,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: maybe I don't I'm missing some intricate news story that's
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: come out that maybe I don't have privy too. But
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: based on what I've heard, this is a sad, sad story.
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: But I'm going to say this, this young man that
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: ended up shooting these people who was being bullied, A
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: lot of the blame for this has to fall on
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: the system. Because you all know that bullying goes on
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: at every level at every school. It happens on the
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: cheerleading squad, it happens in football. It happens in the classroom,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: it happens on the playground, it happens on the way
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: to school. It has been happening since I was a child,
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: and before that, it ain't gone away. And now it's
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: even elevated because that's cyber bullying. They use this internet
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: to taunt these young people. Now here's a young man
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: who all he wanted to do was go to school
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: and get education. This was a good little kid. But
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: it's a little bitty little dude. Now, these guys every
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: day just doing something to this dude. And I saw
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: the video of them pounding this dude. He wasn't even
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: trying to swing back. He was just trying to cover
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: up and protect himself. You can't keep doing this to people, man,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: I'm just telling you, you can't keep pushing the kid
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to the edge like this every day. Tag you it
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: all because he came from a different background. So now
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: they're gonna single him out, tag you it now. The
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: day before, to my understanding, or several days before, this
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: same boy, them pistol whipped him. Wait a minute, what
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: he got a gun at the school? Ain't nobody reported
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: none of this? Nobody said nothing about this no, you
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: know why, because that cyber bullying goes on into snitching.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: So now you got these kids under that peer pressure
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: that they can't even tell who shot the video, well,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: how to video? Get out? What? These kids everything is
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: for video purpose? And ain't nobody snitching, nobody telling. And
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: they watched this boy get abused day after day after day.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: Little boy had enough of The little boy had enough
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: of it. Now it's a little bit different that when
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I was growing up, because I was taught that if
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: you let them keep bullying you, they're gonna bully you
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: every day. So those of us from the old school,
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: no pick up something, go upside somebody ahead, even to score.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Well we're at a different time now. They don't pick
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: nothing up no more. But now, what I don't want
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: it to happen to this young man is for him
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: to lose his future because of this mistake. But this
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: mistake was bought on by this bullying being unchecked. His
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: parents have handled this situation brilliantly. They've said all the
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: right things on behalf of their son. And I guess
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: I wish that the young man hadn't taken a gun
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: to school, But I guess the young man was hoping
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: that he didn't go to school and get pistol whipped either.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: See you see, you can't keep telling me what. I
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: can't protect myself and you're doing nothing to protect me.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Because he told somebody they was doing this to him,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: nothing was done about it. I think this young man
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: should be given some counseling. I think this young man
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: should be put on probation. I think this young man
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: should be expelled from school and let him go and
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: give his life a chance. I hope nothing happens to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: these kids that were shot. I prayed that no one
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: loses their life behind this. I don't know the seriousness
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: of the issues of the injuries, so I'm just saying
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: that right now. But what I'm saying, no, this young
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: man can't lose his future because no one aided him
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: when he was crying out for help. Because all these
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: kids saw this boy getting bullied, and because there's a
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: no snitch policy, nobody went to this boy's aid and told.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: And now this young man was sitting up in his
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: bed at night, going, man, I got to go down
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: at a mall this big dude and pistol whoop me.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: I got to do something and the decision was made.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: But these are decisions that these young people are making now,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: and I feel sorry for everybody involved, But don't let
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: this young man lose his life behind this, because if
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: they weren't doing all that they were doing to him,
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: he certainly wouldn't have made the decision he had to make,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: and the one he felt that was the only way
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: he could protect himself. So that's my opinion. Now, Steve,
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: you don't know this, and you don't know that, so what,
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: So what form your own damn opinion, make yours. Everybody
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: got right to have their opinion. I just gave you mine.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: This is Steve Harvey Morning Show. This ain't your show,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: So you ain't got to like what I said. I
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: really don't care. But if it were your child that
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: was being bullied, what would you want to happen to
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: him after you found out he'd been pistol whoop up
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: into school. Now, let's be real about it. And I'm
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: talking directly to black people now because I know it's
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: you I'm gonna have to hear from. Have a nice day,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: have a great weekend, enjoy yourself. And once again, this
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: was my opinion. You don't like it, whatever, whatever to
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: see your Monday. I have a different opinion. You might
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: like that one. Have a great weekend. For all Steve
