Household Tales 14 - The Three Spinners
In which a young girl who abhors spinning is taken to a Queen’s palace and set the task of turning vast heaps of flax into thread, a task she finds impossible and grievous. Three peculiar women with strange deformities appear to aid her in secret, each bearing the marks of their tireless spinning labours, and in return she promises to honour them at her wedding.
