- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time? I
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks. Things in the stubs stood listening to the
- 0:26Speaker 1: other for I don't join joint turning? You are you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn to turn them out? Turn? You haven't got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out to turn the water? The water go?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby, uh huh. I show well
- 2:04Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show. Y'all do took of me when I said,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but I do like I say always. It just is
- 2:18Speaker 1: a constant reminder of how good God has been. So
- 2:22Speaker 1: my question to you is what's stopping you from having
- 2:26Speaker 1: the life that you want? What's stopping you from having
- 2:30Speaker 1: the life that you want? I know a lot of
- 2:34Speaker 1: people who have given up on achieving the life of
- 2:39Speaker 1: their dreams. But I know they'd still want them if
- 2:43Speaker 1: they could get to them. But they just allowed to
- 2:46Speaker 1: settle for so many reasons. So who I'm talking to
- 2:51Speaker 1: is you today? What's really at the core of stopping you?
- 2:56Speaker 1: What is that? Is it your friends or your soul? Sits?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Is it the fear of what you think somebody else
- 3:03Speaker 1: will think of you if you decide to change. Is
- 3:07Speaker 1: it what I used to call the call of the while?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Is it the fact that you keep thinking that the
- 3:13Speaker 1: thing that you're doing that's providing you these momentary moments
- 3:17Speaker 1: of pleasure that really ain't really good or healthy for you,
- 3:21Speaker 1: you don't want to stop doing that because you've got
- 3:24Speaker 1: just a little bit more something else you want to do.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I call that the call at a while. You know,
- 3:28Speaker 1: it's just out there. Them streets is calling you, Them
- 3:31Speaker 1: lights is calling you. You know, them girls is calling you.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Them guys that's on the wrong side keep calling you.
- 3:38Speaker 1: You can't seem to make a decision by the right guy.
- 3:40Speaker 1: You keep picking the wrong guy all the time. What
- 3:43Speaker 1: is it that's stopping you from having the life that
- 3:46Speaker 1: you really want to have? So whatever the reason you're choosing,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's the reason that's stopping you from having the life
- 3:54Speaker 1: that you want to have. It's no good because at
- 3:57Speaker 1: the end of the date, here's the real deal. I see,
- 4:00Speaker 1: God is available, and God is available for all of us,
- 4:05Speaker 1: and God has a plan for all of us, and
- 4:07Speaker 1: God wants to vary best for all of us. That's
- 4:10Speaker 1: the truth of the matter. So now what we're gonna
- 4:13Speaker 1: do to get started having that life? First of all,
- 4:17Speaker 1: if it's your friends, I want you to understand something.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Your friends can't save you. A lot of your friends
- 4:23Speaker 1: offer no real help for you. Most of your friends
- 4:26Speaker 1: don't have the answer themselves. I mean, it's just a
- 4:30Speaker 1: wide range of reasons. And misery love company. So usually
- 4:34Speaker 1: when your friends are in a bad position, they kind
- 4:37Speaker 1: of like company in that bad position. Your friends ain't
- 4:40Speaker 1: going to church. You're gonna be their friend. They don't
- 4:43Speaker 1: really want you to go to church. You know, your
- 4:46Speaker 1: friends don't pray, so why would they offer up prayer
- 4:50Speaker 1: as a solution to you. You know, your friends don't
- 4:53Speaker 1: really really get the fact that if you treat people better,
- 4:58Speaker 1: people would treat you better or soul? What's that? So
- 5:02Speaker 1: your friends are a lot of times the reasons, you know,
- 5:05Speaker 1: the peer pressure of what and then the thought in
- 5:08Speaker 1: your mind of what they're gonna think once they find
- 5:11Speaker 1: out I don't do what they do anymore. Who cares
- 5:14Speaker 1: what they think other than you? I mean, really, you
- 5:19Speaker 1: can't let what somebody thinks if you stop you from
- 5:22Speaker 1: having the best life you wanted to have. If I
- 5:25Speaker 1: went by that theory right there, I wouldn't I wouldn't
- 5:28Speaker 1: even be on this mic this morning. I would have
- 5:30Speaker 1: never become a stand up I would have had I
- 5:33Speaker 1: listened to the people around me who clearly told me
- 5:37Speaker 1: when I quit my job to pursue this. Boy, don't
- 5:40Speaker 1: you quit your job? You got a family, Boy, don't
- 5:42Speaker 1: you do this. You ain't got no bit dad, ain't
- 5:45Speaker 1: ain't no security in that. Get yourself a job, Go
- 5:48Speaker 1: down here and whet your brother, go to work over here.
- 5:52Speaker 1: I heard all of that. I didn't let that stop
- 5:54Speaker 1: me from pursuing this. Why would you allow that to
- 5:57Speaker 1: stop you from pursuing your relationship with God so you
- 6:01Speaker 1: can have the best life you could possibly have. You
- 6:04Speaker 1: gang bang because they've convinced you that this is the
- 6:07Speaker 1: family situation and love that you don't have, and they've
- 6:11Speaker 1: convinced you that this is your only way, your only
- 6:15Speaker 1: source of getting over And then you drum up these
- 6:19Speaker 1: ignorant reasons man for staying with it. But they sound
- 6:23Speaker 1: so good when you're listening to everybody else you surrounded
- 6:26Speaker 1: by telling you why we gang banging, why we're holding
- 6:30Speaker 1: this blockdown, why we slanging this thing here right here?
- 6:33Speaker 1: Why we're letting it go like this here? You keep
- 6:36Speaker 1: listening to them when all in your heart of hearts
- 6:40Speaker 1: you know this ain't right, you already know, but you
- 6:43Speaker 1: allow that form of the call of the wild, that
- 6:47Speaker 1: wanting to be accepted by a group of people who
- 6:50Speaker 1: trying to get you to accept the way so you
- 6:53Speaker 1: can further they progress. To even prove that you worthy
- 6:56Speaker 1: to be around them, you got to commit some type
- 6:59Speaker 1: of crime to even prove that you're worthy to be
- 7:02Speaker 1: around them. Then when you get busted on the crime,
- 7:05Speaker 1: what happens to that where your familyad Now they don't
- 7:09Speaker 1: come down there to see you, because guess what, they
- 7:11Speaker 1: can't turn in their idea to death at a law
- 7:14Speaker 1: enforcements center. So now your homies can't come visit you.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And then you know your family back out here, they
- 7:19Speaker 1: ain't taking care of your family because it's all about them.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Then you learn that what is it that stopping you
- 7:25Speaker 1: from having a life that you always wanted to have?
- 7:29Speaker 1: What is it? Why are you a repeat offender? Why
- 7:33Speaker 1: do you keep checking yourself back into that institution? Why? Man,
- 7:39Speaker 1: why won't you get it together? Why won't you give
- 7:41Speaker 1: God a try. Why won't you disassociate yourself? Why would
- 7:45Speaker 1: you continue to be a part of a revolving door
- 7:49Speaker 1: system and becoming the farm system for these institutions that
- 7:53Speaker 1: ain't got nothing for you? But you keep going back
- 7:55Speaker 1: in there. And then every time you go in there,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and then your little homies or your gang banging, little
- 8:00Speaker 1: little silly little friends try to make you think that's
- 8:02Speaker 1: a badge of honor. There ain't no badge of honor. Man,
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's one mode. What's one more scratch on that record,
- 8:08Speaker 1: That's one mold, That's one more nail in that coffin.
- 8:12Speaker 1: That's one step closer to that third strike where you
- 8:15Speaker 1: ain't gonna ever get out. It's one step closer to
- 8:18Speaker 1: that graveyard. You keep on. Why would you not give
- 8:22Speaker 1: God a try? Why would you not go and see
- 8:25Speaker 1: what your life could really be? What is it that's
- 8:27Speaker 1: stopping you? Because see, I got news for you. There's
- 8:31Speaker 1: nothing like waking up free. I don't care who you are.
- 8:35Speaker 1: There's nothing like waking up with the joy in your heart. Now,
- 8:39Speaker 1: if you ain't gonna be free, get the joy in
- 8:42Speaker 1: your heart, the satisfaction of knowing that you accomplishing something
- 8:46Speaker 1: with your life, help somebody behind them, bars, get in
- 8:49Speaker 1: the program, show these young cats when they come in
- 8:51Speaker 1: a better way. But don't you dare sit there man
- 8:55Speaker 1: and just ride it out, and man, just go and
- 8:58Speaker 1: get the fullest life that you can have. What you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know what it feels like to wake up and be
- 9:04Speaker 1: on your way somewhere knowing that you have something to accomplish,
- 9:08Speaker 1: that you can change somebody, that you can stop somebody
- 9:11Speaker 1: from going down the roads you went down. It's a
- 9:13Speaker 1: whole lot of ways to make your life better. But
- 9:15Speaker 1: why would you not go and have the best life
- 9:18Speaker 1: you can have? What is it that's stopping you? Really? Really?
- 9:23Speaker 1: So you think that Satan really has your best interests
- 9:26Speaker 1: at heart. That Dela thing your mama kept telling you
- 9:29Speaker 1: about praying, you wasn't listening. It was you. But you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: it ain't ever too late to get back to that.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It ain't ever too late to turn around, It ain't
- 9:37Speaker 1: ever too late to get your life together, it ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: ever too late to seek God, and it ain't ever
- 9:43Speaker 1: too late to pray. Don't forget to pray, don't be
- 9:46Speaker 1: ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud to pray,
- 9:50Speaker 1: Because prayer changes things. Prayer change people too. I'm a
- 9:55Speaker 1: witness to that. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, let me
- 10:03Speaker 1: have it your undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve
- 10:05Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. It is the morning Time. As we gather,
- 10:11Speaker 1: it is two time. Start your day with gratitude, which

- 10:27Speaker 1: all three, get them to agree, and step back and
- 10:33Speaker 1: start to see your life will appear to be times three.

- 11:05Speaker 1: Couldn't be ask you something? A lot of things. Be
- 11:07Speaker 1: happy with my partners, man, It just be funny stuff.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I know you sixty five. You probably had all this happened, man,
- 11:12Speaker 1: But one of my partners got put out over the week.
- 11:14Speaker 1: They came home, found it close into the yard. Didn't
- 11:16Speaker 1: call me talking about can I come through and help
- 11:18Speaker 1: them pick these shirts? Up in these shoes at this yard,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm not going Have you ever been put out before
- 11:25Speaker 1: like that? Well, I've never been put out like that.
- 11:30Speaker 1: See he got put out by Roman that's throwing stuff
- 11:35Speaker 1: over the balcony out in the yard. You know, I
- 11:41Speaker 1: my lies couldn't normally stayed that much off and always
- 11:48Speaker 1: had people that knew me that would go a man,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you know, seem like something crazy at your house and
- 11:54Speaker 1: you know, something like that. So I don't really know
- 11:56Speaker 1: that part. Now. Have I been put out of an
- 12:00Speaker 1: apartment before? Of course, notice something like that, I mean
- 12:09Speaker 1: walk up there and snatch it off the door, like
- 12:11Speaker 1: I pay you man, I'm coming. They came home and
- 12:17Speaker 1: saw the sheriff standing there and moving company setting stuff out,
- 12:23Speaker 1: you know, stuff like that. Then then that that's when
- 12:25Speaker 1: you got that. You can't come in there. You can't
- 12:27Speaker 1: beat when when it happens. Man, you can't be too
- 12:30Speaker 1: I rate can't be mad at the people that's working.
- 12:34Speaker 1: You do have to let them know this is a
- 12:37Speaker 1: major mistake, you know, like walk in and beat you
- 12:42Speaker 1: when you walk up on them putting your furniture out.
- 12:44Speaker 1: You have to be more surprised than the people are
- 12:48Speaker 1: that you came home. That's the key one. You have
- 12:56Speaker 1: to be more surprised than the people that set your
- 13:00Speaker 1: stuff out on the tree lump they got. You gotta
- 13:03Speaker 1: be most surprised and you you came home, so you
- 13:06Speaker 1: have to go in there go oh my god. Okay, okay,
- 13:11Speaker 1: what excuse me? Excuse me? What what is going on?
- 13:20Speaker 1: This is unbelievable. Wait a minute, stop, sir, sir, put
- 13:24Speaker 1: that back hold on. Guys. You know hal well you've
- 13:30Speaker 1: been told him Levin eviction notices off your dough. You
- 13:33Speaker 1: know what, Thank you Steve for that. All right, coming
- 13:38Speaker 1: up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 13:40Speaker 1: the pastors and church complaints right after this. You're listening
- 13:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys, it is Monday,
- 13:48Speaker 1: so you know what that means. Church was yesterday, complaints
- 13:51Speaker 1: are today? Time for church complaints with the Reverend Motown
- 13:56Speaker 1: and Deacon deaf jam me amen. We oh yeah, gravel
- 14:03Speaker 1: in this bidacious day of my comments by we info
- 14:14Speaker 1: gavel m vicariously. No vicarious means that you care less
- 14:27Speaker 1: than a viral, and all the rest of pontificate on
- 14:35Speaker 1: the situation is yeah. And therefore we stand here in
- 14:41Speaker 1: a retrimonious way, gathering our thoughts for du the roma,
- 14:46Speaker 1: the face, the numbers of people being concluding rules as
- 14:58Speaker 1: she provides the proverbs and psalms for Peter. Come on, alright,
- 15:07Speaker 1: understanding that when we put this in chronicle logical order,
- 15:17Speaker 1: we gonna have a revelation. Man, come on, get down
- 15:28Speaker 1: to it, past it. We got an issue here. You're
- 15:31Speaker 1: gonna have to talk to your brother Chester Miller. He
- 15:34Speaker 1: claimed he's starting his own special barbecue business. He say
- 15:38Speaker 1: the temperature outside is a hundred and fifteen degrees the
- 15:42Speaker 1: next two weeks, he said, he gonna just lay the
- 15:45Speaker 1: barbecue outside on something fall. He calling it summer barbecu.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I don't think it's gonna cook all the way through.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I think you need to talk to him. Man. Any
- 15:56Speaker 1: black person that byes this barbecu has been laying out
- 16:00Speaker 1: on the ground in the fall deserves and I mean
- 16:05Speaker 1: it's from the depths of my heart, your soul deserves
- 16:10Speaker 1: to develop simon ella to berkelosis in the case of
- 16:17Speaker 1: coronal all at the same time. Go ahead, all right.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I don't know who did it, but somebody puts speed
- 16:27Speaker 1: bumps inside the church to slow down the people on
- 16:30Speaker 1: the scooters and not a scooter members. They won't them remove,
- 16:35Speaker 1: but everybody else ain't keep them in there because they
- 16:37Speaker 1: need to slow it down. They out of control. It's
- 16:39Speaker 1: your cardo pass out. I'm going to be or the
- 16:45Speaker 1: first to come to the admission. I ordered the or
- 16:49Speaker 1: placement or the bumps now because set the Berth's fat
- 16:54Speaker 1: ass rolled up on the back of my heel last
- 16:57Speaker 1: week and told all the skin off my achilles. I
- 17:03Speaker 1: bled through the entire sermon, but my desire to serve
- 17:07Speaker 1: him with strongle then the devil trying to stop me.
- 17:12Speaker 1: So after that I had those old speed bumps placed.
- 17:16Speaker 1: You put them in there. I didn't know you did that.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You didn't. Ain't that the my attention. Here's something else.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I don't know if you recognize this, but it's been
- 17:24Speaker 1: brought to my attention that somebody has stocked the baptismal
- 17:28Speaker 1: pool with fish. There's at least farted fish swimming in
- 17:32Speaker 1: the Baptista pool, catfish, bass, perch cropping. What do you
- 17:36Speaker 1: want to do with this? I don't. I didn't know
- 17:38Speaker 1: nothing about this. What I know you ain't done that too? Yeah,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I had I stocked the pool myself well listening to
- 17:50Speaker 1: the reason. And I had missed several fishing trips with
- 17:54Speaker 1: friends of mine due to us having these revivals and
- 18:00Speaker 1: what nobody coming down front to be saved or baptized
- 18:04Speaker 1: after my sermons. So I decided to turn it into
- 18:08Speaker 1: a fishing pond. I'm gonna tell you something. They're in
- 18:13Speaker 1: that biting and they hit hard to the whole. You
- 18:18Speaker 1: get holding big croppy. It's a little fight going on.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Thoroughly enjoyed this. Matter of fact, I've decided to leave
- 18:25Speaker 1: me because the number of people were baptizing. We're just
- 18:28Speaker 1: gonna consider and stop calling it a baptizing pool and
- 18:32Speaker 1: gonna call it a baptizing lake. Baptie, ain't let me
- 18:39Speaker 1: say this to you. Please talk to your brother, Jabbo
- 18:44Speaker 1: Jabbo kindly. He has decided that he is a super
- 18:47Speaker 1: hero nine. He called himself super set a saber. He
- 18:51Speaker 1: has an outfit with a cape on it and a
- 18:54Speaker 1: mask and what it is that he got an ass
- 18:56Speaker 1: on his chest. When he thinks somebody is getting of
- 19:00Speaker 1: the sin, he runs over and trying to stop him.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Now he got it, But whoop that the motail last
- 19:05Speaker 1: night for trying to knock on something. Knock somebody dough down.
- 19:08Speaker 1: You're gonna have to talk there. Oh, I don't think
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to say much or these or super
- 19:17Speaker 1: soul save or jab on. It's gonna continue to get
- 19:21Speaker 1: his ass. Whoop. Oh one thing you want about people want? Yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 1: when people want to sin, it ain't a hole lot
- 19:29Speaker 1: you could do about ride. You can fly around slapping
- 19:34Speaker 1: crack pipes out of people head if you want to crack.
- 19:38Speaker 1: If you slap a crackhead dope on the ground, I'm
- 19:40Speaker 1: gonna tell you right No, there're gonna be real situation.
- 19:43Speaker 1: That's riding up all people's doors you think is in there,
- 19:48Speaker 1: or having six there's another ass who I'm watching a
- 19:53Speaker 1: man or trying to break in the waltmart there's another ass. Hoop,
- 19:57Speaker 1: Go ahead, quickly, real quick us the reader college. You
- 20:01Speaker 1: know she passed God rest up. So all the men
- 20:04Speaker 1: who are appointed to be the Paul Borough Paul Barons
- 20:06Speaker 1: have backed out. Now as you know, she was over
- 20:09Speaker 1: six hundred pound. How are we gonna be to move
- 20:11Speaker 1: her around? Path? Are we not? Where somebody got to
- 20:15Speaker 1: carry out? We got to do something well. Her funeral
- 20:18Speaker 1: is in the back of the church. I'm gonna do
- 20:22Speaker 1: like a lot of white churches. I see, we're gonna
- 20:24Speaker 1: start grevey'all right, a hood church college. I can't get.
- 20:32Speaker 1: We're just gonna dig the whole backgwn by the fact
- 20:34Speaker 1: I ridded a back hole to come and get the
- 20:36Speaker 1: green good that ladies and gentlemen, it's church complaints for today. Uh.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Coming up next, it's Asked the Sealer with the Chief
- 20:45Speaker 1: Love Officer, Steve Harvey in the building. Right after this,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 20:53Speaker 1: the hour and Entertainment News. We will find out what
- 20:56Speaker 1: Steve did over the weekend. I heard it with Star Studies.
- 21:00Speaker 1: We'll talk about it. Huh. Also, Melody Hobson is the
- 21:06Speaker 1: first black female to be co owner of an NFL team,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and Moniqu's sister calls her out for her negative behavior.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And one more, Tire Woods is a billionaire. We'll talk
- 21:16Speaker 1: about all this at the top of the hour, but
- 21:19Speaker 1: first it is time for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer,
- 21:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Ready for your love question, Celeste in Laurel Rights.
- 21:27Speaker 1: My husband is studying to be a pastor, and he
- 21:30Speaker 1: uses profanity at home when he's stressed, he will smoke weed.
- 21:35Speaker 1: He shouldn't pursue this profession if he's going to be
- 21:37Speaker 1: a hypocrite. Should I tell our senior pastor about his
- 21:40Speaker 1: behavior or not? Whow you the wife tell her your husband? Yeah,
- 21:45Speaker 1: that's he that's crazy. You don't even had to testify
- 21:50Speaker 1: in court on your husband, so he didn't mad a
- 21:53Speaker 1: snitche Yeah. Basically, well, you know, he's studying to be
- 22:01Speaker 1: a pastor. That that's the difference between a lot of
- 22:03Speaker 1: people studying to be a pastor called to be a pastor.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Two different things. To my understanding and the way I
- 22:10Speaker 1: grew up and was raised. So he's studying to be
- 22:13Speaker 1: something he may not be qualified for. I had a
- 22:18Speaker 1: My degree in college was advertising. I have no business
- 22:24Speaker 1: sitting up in no damn advertising office. One of the
- 22:30Speaker 1: many wrong decisions I made as a young man. And
- 22:33Speaker 1: so you know, it's just another bad decision. You ain't
- 22:36Speaker 1: got to tell nobody. It ain't gonna work out. You
- 22:41Speaker 1: discomm one this course right here, he's too far over there.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Oh come on, man, he ain't him trying to come back? Okay,
- 22:49Speaker 1: what's really making him? Because them theological tests? All right?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Moving on to Benita and Tampa. Benita says, I'm in
- 23:00Speaker 1: love with the man that owns two car washers and
- 23:03Speaker 1: he hands out complimentary mimosas to women on Saturday and Sunday.
- 23:07Speaker 1: He claims it's marketing, but I think he does it
- 23:11Speaker 1: so he and the guys can meet women. Is this
- 23:14Speaker 1: marketing or macking? So I like marketing to me? Oh yeah, yeah, house,
- 23:21Speaker 1: well it's marketing. It works. Look how look what it
- 23:24Speaker 1: did to you. You probably got headed one of them mimosas.
- 23:28Speaker 1: And now look at your ass. You've been to married
- 23:30Speaker 1: a man. Great marketing, mac marketing, Yeah, I call it marketing.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, free mimosas. Yeah, I'm all for it. Sound
- 23:41Speaker 1: like great marketing. You we're on the Steve Harvard National
- 23:44Speaker 1: Radio show talking about it. Marketing outstanding for this guy's brilliant.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I hope they're drinking responsibly, all right, Wanda and Mabelton
- 23:56Speaker 1: says my daughters mimosa, Shirley, I know, I know still
- 24:01Speaker 1: has champagne in it. Just go ahead. Everybody ain't affected
- 24:05Speaker 1: by it like you, Shirley. This one's from Wanda in Mableton.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Wanda says, my daughter is seventeen and she hit her
- 24:14Speaker 1: boyfriend in the eye after catching him next door in
- 24:18Speaker 1: the pool with the sixteen year old girl that lives there.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I told my daughter that she shouldn't hit him, She
- 24:23Speaker 1: shouldn't have hit him. But now the boy's flaunting the
- 24:26Speaker 1: new girl in my daughter's face, and she's so hurt.
- 24:29Speaker 1: I want to pop him. How do I console her?
- 24:33Speaker 1: You can't. This is life. This is what happens along
- 24:36Speaker 1: the way. Boy meets girl. Girl means boy. Boy likes girl,
- 24:42Speaker 1: girl likes boy. Boy looks across the fifth see another girl,
- 24:47Speaker 1: Boy like her too. He ain't committed. This boy seventeen.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You don't even understand what's driving him right now. He's
- 24:55Speaker 1: not driven by his mind, in his brain, he's driven
- 24:58Speaker 1: by hormone. He in the pool, the sixteen year old
- 25:01Speaker 1: girl splashing around, she splashing water on his face. What
- 25:05Speaker 1: did that do that got him aroused? What are they
- 25:08Speaker 1: doing now? Now they walk around town? It don't take much.
- 25:11Speaker 1: He's seventeen. You couldn't do nothing to me. Nothing. If
- 25:18Speaker 1: I saw a girl pulling her pants up, not even
- 25:21Speaker 1: because they was down, just you know, just walking, just
- 25:24Speaker 1: trying to make sure they stayed herself. I was heated.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Oh my god, she won't me. She doing that in
- 25:34Speaker 1: front of my face, she said me, staring at her.
- 25:36Speaker 1: That girl they got eyes in the back of her head. Lady,
- 25:41Speaker 1: you got to relax your daughter. This ain't the first.
- 25:44Speaker 1: This ain't her last time getting hurt either. It's okay
- 25:48Speaker 1: that boy didn't hit or nothing like that. He just
- 25:51Speaker 1: changed his mind. Yeah, Yeah, he gonna gona he gonna
- 25:55Speaker 1: get another one. Yeah. And she shouldn't be hitting him anywhere.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Told her right, Wanda, not to hit anybody. Girls don't
- 26:03Speaker 1: hit these dudes they raised right. No, these dudes hit
- 26:07Speaker 1: women back. Keep your hands to yourself. Late, Yes, because
- 26:12Speaker 1: these cats out here they're not they're not raised like this.
- 26:16Speaker 1: They will hit you back. Yeah, all right. Last one, Steve.
- 26:19Speaker 1: This one's from Dina in North Carolina. Dinna says, my
- 26:23Speaker 1: boyfriend had a barbecue so his parents could meet me.
- 26:26Speaker 1: I made beans, potato salad, greens, a pound cake, and
- 26:31Speaker 1: banana pudding. His mother said, my food tasted like hospital food,
- 26:36Speaker 1: and I got DEFENSI taken't have any seeds, she said.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I got defensive and said, well, don't eat it. My
- 26:50Speaker 1: boyfriend said it was unnecessary and rude. But what his
- 26:53Speaker 1: mama said wasn't his Mama's told the truth. Let me
- 27:01Speaker 1: tell you something, girl, You ain't got enough experience to
- 27:04Speaker 1: make Bobbie Q classics for the family. Bobbie Q. The
- 27:09Speaker 1: damn baked beans, the potato salad, the pound cake? Are
- 27:16Speaker 1: you crazy? These black folk? Classic? Here? Are you making
- 27:21Speaker 1: potato salad? Folk? You know how hard it is to
- 27:24Speaker 1: get that right. You didn't open up a can of
- 27:27Speaker 1: Campbell's poking beans and heating them up and gave them
- 27:30Speaker 1: to them black people. Hospital food pound you know, went
- 27:35Speaker 1: down to the grocery store and bought a Sarah Leeve
- 27:38Speaker 1: pound cake. Hospital food sent it here. Balter balter potato
- 27:45Speaker 1: salad from public hospital food sent up and try to
- 27:50Speaker 1: make these black people eat this. And you yung, He
- 27:55Speaker 1: said it tastes like hospital food because it did. What color?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What did she put in them? Green? Oh? And then green? Oh?
- 28:03Speaker 1: I forgot left that off? The green nothing. You just
- 28:09Speaker 1: damn greens. They wasn't even cooked all the way through.
- 28:13Speaker 1: They and there chewing stalk. You didn't throw the stalks out,
- 28:16Speaker 1: You just chopped them up small your collar. Green's in
- 28:19Speaker 1: there looking like kale. You just just rung They chewing
- 28:25Speaker 1: him like his Kale. I'm on the in the side.
- 28:29Speaker 1: His mom told my ship man. You shut up, Shirley.
- 28:32Speaker 1: This is not one none cooking ass person talking to another.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Don't listen to Shirley about nothing but cookie because her
- 28:39Speaker 1: ass can't cookie. And Shirley no rude when she heard,
- 28:42Speaker 1: because she'd heard all of that. It's been hospital foods.
- 28:47Speaker 1: It's been clinics saver. She somebody told Shirley her food
- 28:54Speaker 1: tastes like emergency room medicine. Coming up at the top
- 28:59Speaker 1: of the or, we'll have some entertainment news for you

- 29:20Speaker 1: tell you right now. You're gonna tell us, Steve about
- 29:23Speaker 1: your star studied event over the weekend. What happened? Who
- 29:27Speaker 1: was there, what'd you do? Tell us everywhere? Are you
- 29:29Speaker 1: talking about my star studied event? I didn't have star
- 29:32Speaker 1: study event, but you were there though, See Shirley, While
- 29:35Speaker 1: I don't like where you set that up, so let
- 29:37Speaker 1: me just ta We'll get down a little bit. Let
- 29:40Speaker 1: me just tip it down. We went to Bishop Jake's
- 29:44Speaker 1: sixty fifth birthday party. Bishop Jake's was concerned. H Tyler
- 29:52Speaker 1: did a wonderful thing and several other people and through
- 29:56Speaker 1: the event with his wife. His wife did mostly all
- 29:58Speaker 1: of the planning. It was a really really nicey bit.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Bishop was concerned. He said, man, what if nobody comes?
- 30:07Speaker 1: What I mean? He was actually feeling that way. That's
- 30:11Speaker 1: his spirit though, as he's a humble guy. He said,
- 30:14Speaker 1: what if nobody comes? My last text to him when
- 30:17Speaker 1: I left last night was well they came. It was
- 30:23Speaker 1: not an empty seat in there. I made several key mistakes.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I gave the custom the toast l cool jas White
- 30:39Speaker 1: said you know what she would lamb. She said you
- 30:42Speaker 1: almost made it. Because he said you almost made it.
- 30:51Speaker 1: You almost made As soon as you said that, everybody
- 30:54Speaker 1: went hall. But they was laughing. Yeah, said the entertainer.
- 30:59Speaker 1: A comedy boy said's ass was funny. It's party. It
- 31:08Speaker 1: was funny man. He was funny man. He wrote a
- 31:10Speaker 1: bunch of material for church and partying with church folks
- 31:15Speaker 1: and getting old hysterical night. Kenny Lattimore saying, Jennifer Hudson
- 31:22Speaker 1: closed the night out. Boy added to tell you something,
- 31:26Speaker 1: Jennifer Hudson, that's the truth. It's not a joke, man.
- 31:31Speaker 1: She did a tribute to Aretha Franklin. Dog. She had
- 31:35Speaker 1: that whole place. It was just such a great event, man,
- 31:41Speaker 1: to honor a man who has meant so much to
- 31:45Speaker 1: so many people. And you just couldn't get over the
- 31:48Speaker 1: fact or beyond the fact of how many people were there,
- 31:51Speaker 1: because nah, man, I just came to honor you, brother,
- 31:55Speaker 1: because what you poured into me the moment you've counseled me.
- 31:59Speaker 1: I mean, he's he's pulled some people to the side,
- 32:02Speaker 1: a lot of them people, all the famous people call it.
- 32:06Speaker 1: But it was like and then I made another mistake.
- 32:08Speaker 1: I was before you know, it was one hundred to
- 32:11Speaker 1: six embarrassed. It was money and no at the beginning,
- 32:17Speaker 1: this outside, you know, before the heat makes you say
- 32:21Speaker 1: something bad. He what did you say? Well, I was
- 32:26Speaker 1: talking to this dude. Man. He had on a straw
- 32:28Speaker 1: hat bid you know, nice little outfit on sundals, no socks.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I just think I'm talking to some you know reglass dude.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I said, Man, man, it's hot than the mouth or
- 32:41Speaker 1: out here. While you dropped that one. You dropped that one.
- 32:46Speaker 1: It was one hundred and six. Dog, there was what
- 32:48Speaker 1: else I could say. He looked at it smoked a
- 32:52Speaker 1: little bit sad. No, not when it's a hundred and six.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And the little dude, I asked, the fusing walk. I
- 33:00Speaker 1: hadn't made it back yet, all right, I'd ask him
- 33:03Speaker 1: when I'd ask him for the water when I was parched,
- 33:06Speaker 1: and he had bought twenty minutes later. He's a little
- 33:09Speaker 1: ass still wasn't there. I said, Man, it's hot him,
- 33:12Speaker 1: both for our him. I was talking because I've been
- 33:16Speaker 1: talking with dude about five minute. He just cool. He said,
- 33:18Speaker 1: bless you, brother, I said. He said, I'm Bishop so
- 33:23Speaker 1: and so. For me, I said, I beat him being everything.
- 33:32Speaker 1: He had horn real blasgic. He looked like somebody, I'll
- 33:35Speaker 1: hang out with us. What did you doing being a bishop?
- 33:40Speaker 1: I thought you was from Cleveland. This is not big.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I'm Bishop so and so from miss Stock God. Then
- 33:50Speaker 1: I was talking to his other dude. Man, he came
- 33:52Speaker 1: with Steve. Man, what's up? What's going on? Man? I
- 33:56Speaker 1: was up. You ain't know who it was here. Man,
- 33:58Speaker 1: it's been a long time, been a long time was
- 34:01Speaker 1: on the end, I was on, I'm pastor so and
- 34:06Speaker 1: so from oklohola, I need to put these robes on
- 34:13Speaker 1: at this all this walking around and regular player ass gil,
- 34:17Speaker 1: y'all just put some robes on the identify yourself. Anybody
- 34:20Speaker 1: got no cross on anything? Y'all need praising, and they
- 34:24Speaker 1: room Collins that y'all need some idea in here. Man,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I'm just making all kinds of mistakes. Oh man. Last
- 34:41Speaker 1: the toasts went good, you know, and then I was
- 34:43Speaker 1: saying some things and they was kind of you because
- 34:45Speaker 1: like right after they was almost finished eating, I told lady,
- 34:48Speaker 1: you ain't supposed to do this while people eat. Now, No,
- 34:51Speaker 1: we got a plan like this. So I went on
- 34:53Speaker 1: up there and then you know, kind of look, I
- 34:55Speaker 1: kind of felt like they wasn't, you know, paying me
- 34:58Speaker 1: a hundred percent. Oh, I'm gonna be anybody paying me
- 35:03Speaker 1: to be up here. Now, you ain't half ass listening.
- 35:05Speaker 1: So that's what I said, you know, I said this
- 35:08Speaker 1: right here, used to wear y'all's ass supposed to be clapping.
- 35:12Speaker 1: As soon as I said that, the whole room fell
- 35:15Speaker 1: out because I said, you know that part right there,
- 35:18Speaker 1: that's what y'all ass supposed to be clapped. I'm dead
- 35:21Speaker 1: at margin. She just dropped her head. She did, Baby,
- 35:26Speaker 1: don't drop your head like you in bass. To be
- 35:28Speaker 1: with me? Wow, you know we got to ride home together.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Don't be embarrassed to be with me now, all right?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, our special
- 35:43Speaker 1: guests Troy Millings and Rashad Balil from the Earn Your
- 35:47Speaker 1: Leisure Podcast coming up right after this. You're listening, all right, everybody, Hey,
- 35:54Speaker 1: we got some special guests this morning. I met these
- 35:57Speaker 1: two brothers recently. Man. I joined them for the podcast
- 36:01Speaker 1: called Earn Your Leisure Podcast, and it's probably one of
- 36:05Speaker 1: the most effective interviews I've done career wise. I mean,
- 36:09Speaker 1: I've never had anything become so more impactful to a
- 36:12Speaker 1: whole different culture of people, and this Earn Your Leisure
- 36:15Speaker 1: Podcast was so effective. I wanted to bring him on
- 36:18Speaker 1: the show to offer you a chance to get to
- 36:20Speaker 1: know them a little bit better and to improve your
- 36:23Speaker 1: life and give you a chance to earn your own leisure. Right.
- 36:27Speaker 1: They've got some great business model and they've always been
- 36:33Speaker 1: at the forefront of cutting edge trends of finance. The
- 36:37Speaker 1: podcast is best described as a college business class mixed
- 36:42Speaker 1: with pop culture. And the first annual invest Fest is
- 36:46Speaker 1: going to take place August fifth, sixth, and seventh in Atlanta,
- 36:50Speaker 1: and they're joining us to tell about us and how
- 36:52Speaker 1: you can be a part of it. Please welcome to
- 36:54Speaker 1: the show, Troy Mullins and Rashad By leaving. Let's do
- 37:05Speaker 1: that again. Please Welcome to the show, Troy, Troy Millings
- 37:08Speaker 1: and Reshod Bellow. Oh yeah, like you must be my soul. Welcome,
- 37:19Speaker 1: how do man? Welcome to the show. Man. Let's get
- 37:24Speaker 1: right into this invest Fest. It's the first of its kind.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You guys got a festival that's combining investing, entrepreneurship, entertainment,
- 37:32Speaker 1: and prop culture all in one place. And it's gonna
- 37:34Speaker 1: take place at your Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia,
- 37:37Speaker 1: August fifth through the seven. Yes, correct, yes, yes, yes.
- 37:41Speaker 1: So the idea behind invest Fest was to, you know,
- 37:43Speaker 1: we see so many musical festivals you have Coachella, you
- 37:45Speaker 1: have made in America. We just came to them from
- 37:47Speaker 1: the roots picnic shout to the roots, and um, you
- 37:49Speaker 1: know it's real popular. But at that time last year
- 37:52Speaker 1: when we were thinking about it, we're like there's a
- 37:54Speaker 1: lot of business conferences and a lot of like business retreats,
- 37:56Speaker 1: but there's never been, to my knowledge of business festival.
- 37:59Speaker 1: So I'm like, how can we get the best elements
- 38:01Speaker 1: of festivals, so like food trucks, vendor booths, you know, activations, experiences,
- 38:08Speaker 1: performances for also having center around financial literacy and investing
- 38:13Speaker 1: in business. So that's what we were able to do
- 38:15Speaker 1: and you know, create an environment where we can have
- 38:17Speaker 1: thousands of people come and have fireside chats, have keynote addresses,
- 38:21Speaker 1: have you know, educational forms and all tie it in
- 38:24Speaker 1: with entertainment. So it's like a formal we call entertainment
- 38:27Speaker 1: with a mix of education and entertainment and over a
- 38:30Speaker 1: three day over three day weekend and just to have
- 38:32Speaker 1: an experience. And the goal is to grow it and
- 38:35Speaker 1: to be big as Coachella. So what they call it
- 38:37Speaker 1: the Coachella Financial Literacy. And you know it was off
- 38:40Speaker 1: to a great start last year and this year is
- 38:42Speaker 1: gonna be even bigger. Yeah, I think it's going to
- 38:45Speaker 1: be something special. Man. Like I said when I did
- 38:47Speaker 1: the podcast, it's probably the most impactful interview I've done
- 38:51Speaker 1: in my career in terms of discussing business and my
- 38:55Speaker 1: thoughts on motivation and things like that. Hey, guys, when
- 38:58Speaker 1: we come back, we're going to hear more about this. Ah.
- 39:01Speaker 1: We're talking to all the brothers that run Earn Your
- 39:03Speaker 1: Leisure and it's a great convention coming to the Georgia
- 39:06Speaker 1: World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Fifty to seven. We
- 39:09Speaker 1: come back, we're gonna have that information for you. You're listening,
- 39:16Speaker 1: all right, everybody, We're back and our special guest this
- 39:19Speaker 1: morning is a Troy Millings and Rasha Bilau, and they
- 39:22Speaker 1: are the guys that run Earn Your Leisure podcast that
- 39:25Speaker 1: you saw me on That was so I just so
- 39:28Speaker 1: relevant to what I've become. And I've never did an
- 39:32Speaker 1: interview like this. I just found these two young brothers
- 39:34Speaker 1: to be fascinating. They have a full team of people,
- 39:37Speaker 1: so listen. They have this thing called Investfest. I want
- 39:40Speaker 1: you to go to investfest dot com. Investfest dot com.
- 39:45Speaker 1: It will give you the entire attend ared ticket information
- 39:48Speaker 1: and vendor information. It's going to be a superb event.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there because I just I'm just enamored
- 39:56Speaker 1: with how these young guys work. Now, let me ask
- 39:58Speaker 1: you something Troy I said in the thing, it's gonna
- 40:01Speaker 1: be a panel discussion, vendor market place, live musical performances,
- 40:05Speaker 1: podcast stages for interviews with various celebrities of food, truck, caravan,
- 40:09Speaker 1: and so much more. What are these panel discussions primarily
- 40:13Speaker 1: centered around. Yeah, so set around a lot of things, cryptocurrency,
- 40:17Speaker 1: real estate investing, for one case, how to have life insurance.
- 40:21Speaker 1: So we're trying to encompass as much education as possible
- 40:24Speaker 1: with what we've seen and obviouslyeen when you through reference
- 40:27Speaker 1: Coachella and Ruspiff, there's a lot of entertainment, and so
- 40:31Speaker 1: when we talk about entertainment, it's a transactional relationship, Right,
- 40:34Speaker 1: I pay you with detain meet and now in order
- 40:36Speaker 1: to entertainment again, I have to pay. What we're trying
- 40:38Speaker 1: to do is create entertainment where it's like, all right,
- 40:41Speaker 1: we're gonna have transformational interactions where it's like now you came,
- 40:44Speaker 1: you pay for the event, but you're leaving with educations
- 40:47Speaker 1: that can now change your life, to change the people
- 40:48Speaker 1: around you life. So it's a mix of commerce and cultures.
- 40:52Speaker 1: What we're saying, because what you take from this show
- 40:55Speaker 1: and what you take from this advantage something that's going
- 40:56Speaker 1: to transform not only you, but the generations that will
- 40:59Speaker 1: follow you for years. You know. I think that's the
- 41:01Speaker 1: thing that fascinated me about this invest Fest when I
- 41:04Speaker 1: first heard about it was the combination of commerce and culture,
- 41:07Speaker 1: because you've done a very very smart thing, very kind
- 41:10Speaker 1: of similar to Essence when they have the Essence Festival
- 41:12Speaker 1: for women. They throw this wonderful event of entertainment, but
- 41:16Speaker 1: all throughout the date is educating and pouring into him,
- 41:19Speaker 1: empowering them and one of a very very powerful events.
- 41:22Speaker 1: But this is the first of its kind for me
- 41:25Speaker 1: to watch young people such a and I say young
- 41:28Speaker 1: because hell, I'm sixty five so and you guys are young.
- 41:32Speaker 1: You're touching an audience that I was exposed to when
- 41:35Speaker 1: I did the podcast that normally I don't really get
- 41:38Speaker 1: here that they see me on TikTok and I don't
- 41:40Speaker 1: even know how to get on it, and they see motivations.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I don't even know how to get on that. But
- 41:46Speaker 1: I think this year at invest Fest, Man, this is
- 41:48Speaker 1: what I'm saying, folks, this is a great opportunity to
- 41:51Speaker 1: give this as a gift to a young person in
- 41:54Speaker 1: your life to know, you know, looking for answers. If
- 41:56Speaker 1: you're an older person that never got the answers, if
- 41:59Speaker 1: you're from my generation, you know, it's never too late
- 42:01Speaker 1: to become successful. I want to invite everybody down to
- 42:05Speaker 1: the Atlanta, Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta August fifth

- 53:53Speaker 1: Tell you here it is the Strawberry Letter subject he
- 53:56Speaker 1: can out Cheat Me. Dear Stephen Shirley, my boyfriend and
- 54:01Speaker 1: I are forty four years old and we have been
- 54:03Speaker 1: together for years. I lost count on how long we've
- 54:06Speaker 1: actually been a couple because we were roommates first, then
- 54:10Speaker 1: we started fooling around. Then we stopped seeing other people
- 54:13Speaker 1: since we were living together. We became a couple after
- 54:17Speaker 1: our family and friends considered us a couple. I started
- 54:20Speaker 1: playing the role of wifey and made sure everything was
- 54:23Speaker 1: taken care of in the house. Little did I know
- 54:27Speaker 1: he was telling people that we were roommates and we
- 54:29Speaker 1: hadn't had sex and months. That's when my attitude changed
- 54:33Speaker 1: and I asked him to move out. He denied ever
- 54:36Speaker 1: saying that, and I knew he was lying. I started
- 54:39Speaker 1: seeing one of my old boyfriends and started to stay
- 54:41Speaker 1: at his house. Sometimes my roommate would stay away all
- 54:45Speaker 1: weekend and come home and sleep all day. On Sunday,
- 54:48Speaker 1: I saw his email and text messages and he was
- 54:51Speaker 1: telling women how much he enjoyed them sexually. I decided
- 54:55Speaker 1: to turn up the heat on him and beat him
- 54:58Speaker 1: at his own game. I with his boss at our
- 55:01Speaker 1: house and I send him a picture of us. It's
- 55:04Speaker 1: boss didn't care about being messy because he knew my
- 55:07Speaker 1: roommate was a big time cheater. My boyfriend, who said
- 55:10Speaker 1: he's just my roommate, came home and we got into
- 55:14Speaker 1: a really bad argument, and he admitted to cheating on
- 55:17Speaker 1: me for years. I told him he can't out cheat me,
- 55:21Speaker 1: and I told him about my ex boyfriend. In addition
- 55:23Speaker 1: to his boss, those two people that I slept with
- 55:27Speaker 1: were far worse than any women he ever messed with.
- 55:30Speaker 1: He knows how I feel about my ex. He cried
- 55:33Speaker 1: and begged me to stop cheating and swore he'd stopped
- 55:36Speaker 1: cheating too. I'm glad he realized what he'd lose. But
- 55:40Speaker 1: it's too late, or is it? Is there a way
- 55:44Speaker 1: to stay together and fix this mess? Okay, let's see
- 55:49Speaker 1: about that first. I'm gonna say it's not you know,
- 55:54Speaker 1: it's not normal what we do as women. This is
- 55:57Speaker 1: not normally what we do as women. We don't make
- 55:59Speaker 1: it into a competition or game of who can cheat
- 56:02Speaker 1: on who the most, or who can cheat on who
- 56:04Speaker 1: the best. We don't normally do that because while women
- 56:07Speaker 1: may take a man back, you know, we might more
- 56:10Speaker 1: women take men back after they cheat than men take
- 56:15Speaker 1: women back. Okay, those numbers are pretty low for men
- 56:18Speaker 1: taking women back after they knowingly been cheated on. Okay,
- 56:22Speaker 1: but you did it, and you told your man, You
- 56:24Speaker 1: even bragged about it, you know, you being the better
- 56:28Speaker 1: cheater and who you cheat it with. Now you want
- 56:30Speaker 1: to know, is there any hope for you too? Well,
- 56:34Speaker 1: let me just say this again. I believe it's never
- 56:36Speaker 1: too late for anything. But really that's up to you guys.
- 56:40Speaker 1: You guys, only you guys can answer that question, because
- 56:43Speaker 1: fixing it is going to involve the tea word, and
- 56:46Speaker 1: the tea word is trust in this situation, and it
- 56:49Speaker 1: all boils down to trust. I mean, after all that's
- 56:52Speaker 1: gone on between the both of you, can you trust
- 56:55Speaker 1: that it won't happen again? He asked you not to cheat,
- 56:58Speaker 1: He said he wasn't going to cheat. Well, can you
- 57:00Speaker 1: guys hold to that? That's the question. You have to
- 57:03Speaker 1: rebuild that trust. If you two really want that, you
- 57:06Speaker 1: got to start working on your relationship. And you guys
- 57:09Speaker 1: got to start from scratch, because there was never any
- 57:11Speaker 1: respect or any trust, it seems from you guys to
- 57:15Speaker 1: begin with. You have to do what you can. You
- 57:17Speaker 1: got to make each other feel secure if you want
- 57:19Speaker 1: to make this thing work. You know, it's just how
- 57:23Speaker 1: much are you guys willing to do. You might want
- 57:25Speaker 1: to go to counseling. I mean, that's going to help
- 57:27Speaker 1: if you guys agree to go. And it also means
- 57:30Speaker 1: no sexting with other females, no guys, definitely no seeing
- 57:34Speaker 1: other people. So again, if you bought, guys both want
- 57:38Speaker 1: it and you say you do. Since he stopped crying
- 57:40Speaker 1: and begging and stuff, you got to do the work
- 57:42Speaker 1: because right now, this raggedy relationship of yours is hanging
- 57:46Speaker 1: on by a thread. Steve, this letter right here is shocking.
- 57:52Speaker 1: He can't out cheat me. Then after writes his whole letter.
- 57:57Speaker 1: Here's the line that they've given to me and Shirley.
- 58:02Speaker 1: Here's the mandate. Is there a way to stay together
- 58:06Speaker 1: and fix this mess? After all she wrote? Here's the
- 58:10Speaker 1: question for me and Shirley? Is there a way to
- 58:12Speaker 1: stay together and fix this mess? Shirley has an approach
- 58:16Speaker 1: to it, a very logical approach. I don't feel like
- 58:21Speaker 1: being logical today. Here's the answer to your question, is
- 58:25Speaker 1: there a way to stay together and fix this mess?
- 58:28Speaker 1: The answer is hell? Now this is over? You know,
- 58:35Speaker 1: you know, I used to spend a lot of time
- 58:36Speaker 1: really trying to help people. But I've discovered that a
- 58:38Speaker 1: lot of people write me and Shirley with some helpless situations.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It's nothing we could do. You shouldn't have took this
- 58:44Speaker 1: to the Lord. We ain't got the qualification got the Lord?
- 58:49Speaker 1: Because what am I supposed to do with this? Hell?
- 58:52Speaker 1: Because okay, let me tell you what I read When
- 58:54Speaker 1: I read the letter? Did Steven Sherley my boyfriend and
- 58:57Speaker 1: I forty four years old, and we have been together
- 58:59Speaker 1: for ye years. Okay, y'all ain't married, and y'all boyfriend
- 59:06Speaker 1: and girlfriend at forty four, y'all too old for this.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Here's the key to this letter. I lost count of
- 59:16Speaker 1: how long we've actually been a couple because we were
- 59:19Speaker 1: roommates first, then we started fooling around. Then we stopped
- 59:23Speaker 1: seeing other people. Since when we're living together, we became
- 59:26Speaker 1: a couple. Out of our family and friends considered us
- 59:28Speaker 1: a couple. What what? What all I could say is
- 59:35Speaker 1: listen to me. When a woman says she don't know
- 59:38Speaker 1: how long we've actually been a couple. Let me tell
- 59:40Speaker 1: you something. When you lose count or when you stop
- 59:46Speaker 1: the count, it's because it don't count. Listen to me again.
- 59:52Speaker 1: If you lose the ac count of something, or you
- 59:56Speaker 1: stop the count, it's because it don't count. Everybody in
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: this room know how long they've been with their partner. Everybody,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Hang on, Steve, whatever we got part two of your
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three minutes after be our
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject he can't out cheat me. We'll
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, Let's get back into Today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Let's recap. The subject is he can't out cheat me,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: so very quickly, here's my recap. I just add went
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: to the bottom of the letter. And after she wrote
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: all this, she said it's their way to stay together
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and fix this mess. My answer is hell no, just
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: hell no. This is a this is a done daughter.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: I can't help. This is a not fixable. I'll tell
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you why. My boyfriend and I forty four years old.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: We've been together for years. Who forty folk steal boyfriend girlfriend?
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: I told y'all this stops after college. You stopped having
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: boyfriends girlfriends at the college after forty You got to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: call it something else, boyfriend girlfriend. Y'all too old for this.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I lost count of how long we've actually been a
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: couple because we were roommates first, then we started fooling around. Now,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: let me, first of all, let me help you with
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: when a woman loses count in their relationship, you lose
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: count because it don't count. This is very true. Now
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: listen to this mess right here. I lost count of
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: how long we've actually been together because we were roommates first,
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: then we started fooling around. Then we stopped seeing other
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: people since we were living together. We became a couple
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: after our family and friends considered us a couple. I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: started playing the role of WIFEE and made sure everything
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: was taken care of in the house. Little did I know,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: he was telling people that we were roommates and we
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: hadn't had sex and months. Did you hear what I
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: just read? They are only a couple because some people
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: told him they was a couple. They had to stop
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: seeing other people because they were both living together. Then
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: she started playing the role of wifey. But then a
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: little did she know he was telling people there was
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: roommates and had to have sex and most she said,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: that's when my attitude changed. Really well, this is gonna
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: be interesting, because what y'all in right now is a
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: complete mess with the attitude you had. But then your
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: attitude change. I asked him to move out. He did
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: not ever saying that, and I knew he was lying.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: So guess what she did. I started seeing one of
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: my old boyfriends and started to stay at his house sometimes.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: What what did you just say? But then my roommate
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: would stay away all weekend and come home and sleep
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: all day on Sunday. This is the dude that she
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: lives with the supposed to be a couple. I saw
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: his emails in text and he was telling and women
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: how much he enjoyed them sexually. Then after she read
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: these texts, she decided to turn up the heat on
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: him and beat him at his own game. She said,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I slept with his boss at our house and sent
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: him a picture of us. What just this letter is
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: straight crazy. This is ship madness. This is nuts. His
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: boss didn't care about being messy because he knew my
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: roommate was a big time cheat up. My boyfriend, who
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: said he's just my roommate, came home. We got into
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: a really bad argument. He admitted to cheating on me
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: for years. I told him he came out cheat me.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I told him about my ex boyfriend, in addition to
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: the boss, which she sent pictures to. Now it's somebody
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: else she's doing too, her ex boyfriend. Those two people
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: that I slept with were far worse than any women
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: he ever messed with, because he knows how I feel
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: about my ex wet. This is sheer craziness. Man, you're
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: sleeping with people. He's sleeping with people your boss. You're
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: sitting in pictures, You're discovering emails y'all live together, y'all
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: a couple. Y'all ain't a couple? Uh? Y'all still boyfriend girlfriend?
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: After all these years you the lost count y'all foughty folk.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: After all this he cred and cried and begged me
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: to stop cheating. This war he stopped cheating too. I'm
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: glad he realized what he lose, but it's too late.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: He ain't lost nothing for you. Glad he realized what
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: he lose. What has he lost? You're passing yourself around
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: like ladies at what back tator chips? Or is it?
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: Is there a way to stay together and fix this mess?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: This whole letter is filled with say what, lady? Do
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you fix this? Why y'all together? Y'all don't be long together? You?
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: Neither one of you have any idea And in all
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: of this, in all of this, neither one of you
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: said you were in love with each other, neither one
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: of y'all, neither one of y'all said you can't live
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: without it. Neither one of you said you were hurt
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: by the other one cheating. This is a why y'all
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: need to break up, go your separate ways start over.
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: Y'all have nothing this is this is nothing. Man, Man,
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: this this could be close to It's gotten on your nerves.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: This is one of the worst letters man. I mean,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: what was he crying and doing? All that crying and
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: begging for? That's all that is? He can get her back.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: You don't cry and cut off women. Huh. You don't
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: cry and cut off women. Did you cry to keep
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: this one woman from cutting you off? Uh? Huh? Then
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: once she do, you ain't even you. It ain't even
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: make you. Take out all the emails and stuff he
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: got in his phone. Yeah, it's got a lot of
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: stuff in there. All right, Thank you. Steve. Hit us

- 1:06:46Speaker 1: All right, It is time now for Sports Talk with Junior. Hey, Junior,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: what you got? All right? Shirley Friday Night, Oh my god,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: y'all saw it. But it was all about Steph Curry
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: in there, cooking man. Just one show, everybody, while he's
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: the best player in this whole series. Forty three points
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: man fourteen to twenty six from the field seven or
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: fourteen from three. Man, he wouldn't miss it nowhere where
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I'm telling you serious tied in two too. Also, I
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: just need to see if Draymond Green could just give
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: us a little more Draymond d. They didn't kind of
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: set Draymond down a little bit here. Yeah, man, you
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: know it's it's it's it's one of these series, man,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: where you know this is gonna be pivotal Game five
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: coming up to night. Man, I don't know how. I
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: don't know how you're gonna look way it was. They
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: could be three one or two. It could have been
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: three one, man. Yeah, but you know Steph Man is
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: under now what is going on with Dale? And saw
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: your Curry up? And did you see this later? Well
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: they say wife swap is going on. So Darrel Curry
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: was in the stands with his boot and sign. Your
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Curry was at the game with Hubbu. But they say
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: those two used to be married. Man's cooking on the
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: court and off the court. His parents like, my mama,
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: dad gotta go home, y'all gotta go home. Yeah, can
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I just compete for a championship? I can't play with
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: all this care that talk about a crosshold. It's all
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: ain't seen it? He said, you ain't seen it. Yeah. Also, man,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: the Houston Texas have to get lawyers as they have
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: been named as a defendant in this did you it's
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: coming out saying that the Texas knew they provided him
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the hotels and the masseuses. Dude, right there, Who who's
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: suing the Texas? Is it the lawyer with the women, yes?
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: Is it Deshaun's people? Yeah? No, the lawyers the victims,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: alleged victims have named the Texans as difficult. See now,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: that means that the two neighbors have fallen out ugly
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: because what didn't happened is this lawyer that represents his
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: women has seen the case starting to lose momentum and
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: lose traction and not getting what he thought. So now
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: he didn't turned on his next door neighbor. I'm gonna
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: see y'all. Wow, Wow, all right, Junior, to be continued.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: we'll talk about more about Monique. Her sister has come
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: forth to say a few words. We'll talk about it
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to all right, So Monique's
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: sister now has come out and spoken about this whole
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Monique and DL situation that happened a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Monique's sister's warning Monique about messing with God. Monique's sister's
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: name is Millicent, i'ms She wrote a long Facebook post
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: pleading for Monique to stop creating drama in her life.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Milicent wrote, enough is enough, my sister, stop the madness.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: It's not a good look. God has shut you down before,
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: and believe me, he will do it again. You are
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: and have been displacing your anger on the wrong people.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: She also called out Monique for talking about deal Hughley's daughter.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: I see you are making statements about other people's children,
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: So where are yours? Before ending her post, Melicent urged
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: Monique to again clean your house up and you'll be
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: set free. L Ol. I have receipts. As your old
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: bodyguard used to say, let's play nice as you say.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: This is all coming from a place of love, sister,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: stop who yes? Yeah? Calling her out. The part about
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: God is the part that I see right here. You know, look, man,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: you can't This is not the way it works. Um,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: I ain't got nothing to say, y'all go ahead, Okay,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: all right, we just wanted to put that out there
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: was trending on social media. Yeah, see how I got
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: out of there because my next comment was gonna be
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: on the internet. Yeah, y'all done. You want us to
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: move along? Nothing. You can comment on this, Steve, How
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: about this? Tiger Woods is officially a billionaire? All right,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: we have another billionaire. That's right. This is according to
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: a new Forbes estimate of Tiger's net worth. He joins
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: LA Laker superstar Lebron James. We heard about his billionaire
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: status last week. And of course NBA legend Michael Jordan.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: These are the only athletes to be only known billionaire
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: athletes athletes in the world. So there you go, Tiger, Lebron,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: and Michael Jordans billionaires. So you can comment on that, Well,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: I don't think they're the only ones. Well you got
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: a look. They don't overseas, they don't do the reporting
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: of income the way we do m but Africa coverseas
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: that boys MESSI that soccer player, soccer player, the boys
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: is making bank. They're making bank, man, and they are
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: really really connected. I can assure you that Japanese board
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: had won the Masters last year. The rumors that I've
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: heard of what they've done for him and back in
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: his country way over the top. Way Well, so I
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: just think I think it's other people that's not to
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: just because what Lebron did as a major accomplishment and
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: he's really dope man like. Lebron is probably the most
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: relevant athlete. I mean, excuse me, Lebron. It's probably our
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: most relevant athlete of these current times right here. I
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: mean he's rivaling in terms of being an activist and
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: things like that and putting jobs in the community. I mean,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: what what what when Chamberlain, I mean when Due Jabbar
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: made a stance and Jim Brown made a stance, it
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: was tough man. When they was making stances. Tim Boys
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: was making some real noise out there about for us.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: But to benefit from what they did, as Lebron has done,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I think he's taking it to another level. I think
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: he's a super relevant person. I think Michael Jordan has
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: started to show a lot of stuff. Michael Jordan has
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: done a lot of stuff for people that he told
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: talked about and I think he hasn't gotten enough credit.
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: Before we leave, can we give a sister, some credit,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: some love. Melody Hobson, the first black woman to have
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: equity in the NFL, as the new co owner of
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: the Denver Broncos. Can we do that please? Yes? Yes,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: relations to Melody Hobson. All right, and we'll be back
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening to show.
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: A North Carolina pest company, The pest Informer, posted on
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: its website that it's looking for five to seven households
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: that will allow them to put one hundred American cockroaches
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: in their house and they will pay the participants two
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: thousand dollars. They're wanting to conduct a study on a
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: specific pest control technique, which will take around thirty days,
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: and it will require to anicians to film the process.
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: During the process, the homeowners are not allowed to use
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: other pest control techniques. The company promises that it will
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: use traditional cockroach treatment options if its new technique does
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: not kill the infestation within thirty days. Hey, listen to me.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Don't sign up for this the little cockroaches in your house.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Though they're gonna pay you two thousand dollars, you don't
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: even understand. Cockroaches thirty days, they set up shop thirty
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: days and cockroaches that's crazy cockroach convention. At the end
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: of week two, hein't nothing. But what does that see?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Sixty six dollars a day, don't even know? That's man,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: some cockroaches losing your house for tooth grand for thirty days,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and then for thirty days when when you don't see
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: them no more, when they leave, they ain't gonna This
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: is when I'm stays in the attic in a corner. Hey, man,
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: you smell all that. You smell that that's poisoned. Man,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: let's go over here and lay low for a little while.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: You think they're gone, Yeah, they're gone. If you already
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: got cockroaches, then going on it ain't gonna mess up.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Now you already got it. I know, computing enough for
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: two thousand dollars. You can come over and start filming today,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: coming up with thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: play a round I would you rather? Right after this
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: you're listening to show? All right, guys, it's time for
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: a round of would you rather? Would you rather live
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: in a new country every month? Or never? Go on? Vacation.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: I live in a new country every month, in new
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: country every month. Never go on vacation, never never leave
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: as Yeah, I don't new country every month, new country
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: every month. I move around. You would have to live
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: in a new country every month every month. Yeah, you're
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: just gonna keep moving every month. You donna move, y'all.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Don't work where your money coming from? He doesn't say
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: we needed some money, we need money to new You're
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: living in a new country every month. What would you
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: rather do? He immediately thought about the money steves the
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: mind works. Yeah, no, I'm gonna stay in one country
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: making my money. I create some vacations, but they cast staycations.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Yes they are all right. Would you rather pay five
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: dollars every time you lie to who? Or got it?
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Because it's the one? Because this this could be costly?
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Who everyone lie to someone? Or? Would you pay? Or?
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Would you rather pay five dollars every time you insult someone?
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: I say money, yea for you? Who get to five
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: dollars the person you've lied to or insulted? Uh? Some reason,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I feel like a spouse. I feel like a spouse
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: is attached to this. I don't want to do. Yeah, well,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: I just go with beat in if it's you your spouse.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: Every time I'm insulted my spouse, I pay a five
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: off every time you like. No, I can't do that.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Chill damn everything. She'll have all your money so many times.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: All right, moving on? Would you rather be a pastor
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: for a week? Pastor for a week, or would you
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: rather be a stripper for a week? Which one past
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna preach this thing. I'm not going to be
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: past I probably ain't gonna make the week, but I'm
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: gonna be a past We got but one sermon. You
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: can make it a week. Now, you gotta be a
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: pastor for a whole week. Gotta go sick and shut in?
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: You got you don't like. I ain't good at that.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Couldn't make it a bitch of TD Jake's birthday, Parker.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Just be the stripper for a week. You could do that, right? Yeah? No,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: because then don't end up going to hell. I'm gonna
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: get caught up into life. Somebody gonna compliment me, and
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna want to hear it again. I'm out there,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: every said Parking. All right, Well that's would you rather
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: for today? We'll be back at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: we're closing remarks. You're listening to all Right, guys, here
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: we are on this Monday, our last break of the day.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: It's been a good Monday break the day. Yeah, okay, guys. Questions, anybody,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: let's talk this out. Let me see if I would
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: give you some advice or anything. I was thinking about this.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: It's not not a question that I need advice on.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: But I've been watching the Bobby Brown reality show every
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: Little Yeah, it's so good. I love Bobby Brown. But
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I wanted to know. I know people have come to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: you and asked you to do reality. Why haven't you
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: ever done a reality I know you you've created reality radio. Yeah,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: but what have you ever thought about? Kids came to
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: me and wanted to do it. You know, they really
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: had it in their head to get it done because
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: they had been offered it. And my wife actually considered
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: it and was talking about what Steven would really help
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the kids get off the ground and earn money and
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. And I pulled
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: my wife to the side when we sat on and said, baby,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I said, let me ask you a question. I say,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: when do I get off? I said, If I'm working
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: all day on my job and then I come home
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: and there's some more cameras sitting up in my house,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: I said, when do I get to be off? She said, well, Steve,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: I'll have it where they don't shoot you. I said, no,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: it's cameras in the house. She said, Steve, let me
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: go in and tell your kid and wet even do
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: this here? She ran on in there, said, your daddy said,
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: And it was mad at me for from me, But
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: it's cool because and then see reality shows for me
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: become way too much reality because my regular the way
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: I am on the radio is enough. Yeah, that's as
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: close as you get to being your any more revealing.
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: And this is gonna be catastrophic. You make lose gigs, Yeah, yes, yeah,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I'm not really sure family few will maintain me. I'm
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: not sure about it. But when yeah, when we first
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: started the radio show, you were giving it to them,
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: having meetings on the air everything. Whatever you do to
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: me or whatever you say to me, I'm taking it
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: to the public. Let the public be the judge. Yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: all right, next to anybody, you know, you have all
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: these TV gigs, man, you keep coming up on TV
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: all kinds of ways, and even with a new show
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: just Steve. You know, was there a process to just
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: reinventing yourself? Did you think these up or did it
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: just come in your lap? I don't really. You know,
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: it's a lot of grace and favor in my life. Man.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: You know, I've been over two hundred pitch meetings in
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: this business. Of the two hundred pitch meetings, I've gotten
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: five TV shows on TV. Two hundred meetings, I mean,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: two hundred pitch meetings of ideas I've taken for myself,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: for other people, for this, got involved with this guy,
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: executive produced that. And out of the two hundred pitch meetings,
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I've gotten five shows on TV in thirty some years
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: since I was the whole journeys No, like Tommy's been
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: on Ready Ready to Love for how many seasons now
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: shooting seven and eight. You know how hard that is
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: to be on TV for seven seasons. It's crazy. I
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: mean this show goes into syndication after one hundred and
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: twenty five episodes. You know, it's really really hard. The
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: average eighty five percent of all TV shows has gone
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: within two years eighty five Man, it's very, very hard.
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: So I've been very blessed in that. First of all,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I've always been able to reinvent myself because I don't
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: have a fear of change. I know that everything can change.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Everything will change. Now. You can participate in the change,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: or you can react to the change. If you are
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: continually reacting to changes in your life, you will forever
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: stay behind the eight ball. So why don't you participate
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: in the change. This is going to happen at a
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: certain amount of time, And let me make a move
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and then lose your fear of failure because failure is
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: a part of the process. Ain't going about your business
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and then remain faithful. Give God credit, man, I think
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: that's been a big part of my success. I don't
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: I'm not afraid to give God credit, you know, give
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: where credit is due. It's not me. I'm not all
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: of that, you know. It's a lot of grace and
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: favor on my life. It's a lot of me saying
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: prayers for other people, you know, things like that. Like
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: it was a great quote that I witnessed the other day.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: It said that a society becomes great when old men
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: plant trees under which the shade they know they'll never sit.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: Good people do things for other people. Old men plant
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: trees of which under the shade they know they will
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: never sit. And that's what has been a big part
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: of my growth. Like we bought this ranch, I know,
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: and we we planted sixty nine thousand spruce slings from
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: where a tornado came through and tore up my land.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: We planted at sixty nine thousand and spruces. I probably
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: won't sit under the shade of them. So why would
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I plant those many trees? Because we need forests, and
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: we need wooded areas, and deers need habitat. And my
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: grandchildren gonna drive under them trees. That's your legacy. Yeah,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you know, in thirty years, I'll be able to sit
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: around the tree, but I won't really see what that
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: tree gonna really be. You know, I got thirty thirty
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: nine more years and then I'm gone. You know that
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: nine I'm gonna be yeah, yeah, and then I'm gonna
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: go home. What what? What's what happening? Why not one
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: on five? Why? Why one on four? You're pushing it?
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: Give me one on four. I be happy. We have
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: to talk about that tomorrow, y'all. Have a great day. Hey, listen, everybody,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: talk to God. He loved to hear from you. Okay, y'all,
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: stay in peace. We'll see you tomorrow. For all Steve
