Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Verdict with Ted Cruz and the Weekend Review.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you. And there were some major stories
- 0:08Speaker 1: this week that you may have missed that I want
- 0:10Speaker 1: to make sure you know all about that. The Center
- 0:12Speaker 1: and I discussed First up, Biden has all of a
- 0:15Speaker 1: sudden decided.
- 0:16Speaker 2: To freeze at flights for illegals.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Why now, Well, it's after there was an expose and
- 0:22Speaker 1: it's shocking what we found out, and we'll tell you
- 0:24Speaker 1: about that in just a moment. Also, Kamala Harris is
- 0:27Speaker 1: in hiding. Apparently she thinks the way to become the
- 0:30Speaker 1: president is do exactly what Joe Biden did. Not talk
- 0:34Speaker 1: to the media, not show up for anything that deals
- 0:37Speaker 1: with question and answers, and you know, just kind of
- 0:40Speaker 1: walk into the White House. Remember, no one's voted for
- 0:43Speaker 1: her so far, so will at work. We'll dive into that.
- 0:47Speaker 1: And finally, the VP choice Waltz, Well, he's got some
- 0:51Speaker 1: real baggage, including turning citizens on one another during COVID
- 0:56Speaker 1: in Minnesota. We'll break that down for you as well.
- 1:00Speaker 1: The week in Review and it starts right now. The
- 1:04Speaker 1: Biden administration has come out and they have freezed these controversial,
- 1:10Speaker 1: and I think it's a mild way of putting it.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Migrant flight program after there were massive fraud revelations that
- 1:18Speaker 1: had been exposed Fox News. Bill Malugin did an amazing
- 1:22Speaker 1: job on this, and we should give him some serious credit.
- 1:25Speaker 1: But this is another example of the fraud and abuse
- 1:29Speaker 1: and just not having any clue what they're doing with
- 1:33Speaker 1: a wide open border policy, whether it's migrants coming in
- 1:38Speaker 1: on planes or coming across the southern border and terraces
- 1:41Speaker 1: coming in with them, fetnel coming in with them, the
- 1:44Speaker 1: worst criminals in the world getting into this country, and
- 1:47Speaker 1: now we find out, oh wait, yet again, they have
- 1:50Speaker 1: no idea who's even on the flights they're allowing in.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Well, let me agree and disagree. I'm going to agree
- 1:56Speaker 3: number one, that Bill Mallusian has been incredibly He's been
- 1:59Speaker 3: the best reporter in the country highlighting the invasion in
- 2:02Speaker 3: our southern border. He's truly been a hero reporting on this.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I'm going to disagree though, when you said that Biden
- 2:07Speaker 3: Harris have no idea what they're doing. I think they
- 2:10Speaker 3: know exactly what they're doing. They are presiding over an
- 2:13Speaker 3: invasion of our country, and it's deliberate the eleven and
- 2:16Speaker 3: a half million illegal aliens that have come into this country.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Joe Biden and Kamala Harris want them to come in
- 2:22Speaker 3: and they are doing this for power now. This program,
- 2:27Speaker 3: and you and I have talked about this program multiple
- 2:29Speaker 3: times on this podcast, was a program where they weren't
- 2:33Speaker 3: simply taking people that were apprehended on the southern border
- 2:36Speaker 3: and letting them go, although they're doing that by the millions.
- 2:39Speaker 3: They were actually flying them from their home countries directly
- 2:43Speaker 3: into America. And this program was focused on four countries, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua,
- 2:49Speaker 3: and Venezuela. And under this program, up to thirty thousand
- 2:53Speaker 3: nationals a month, Biden Harris were flying in from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua,
- 2:58Speaker 3: and Venezuela. And by the way, we focused on and
- 3:01Speaker 3: I've talked multiple times about, one of those instances involved
- 3:05Speaker 3: a Haitian national that flew in under this program from
- 3:08Speaker 3: Haiti to Boston. In Boston, they released this illegal immigrant.
- 3:14Speaker 3: He turned around and raped a fifteen year old girl
- 3:18Speaker 3: with severe mental disabilities. He was arrested for raping this
- 3:23Speaker 3: fifteen year old girl just a couple of weeks ago.
- 3:26Speaker 3: He was released from jail on bond. You know how
- 3:29Speaker 3: much as bond was five hundred dollars. A left wing
- 3:32Speaker 3: judge said, you rape a disabled girl, a teenager, five
- 3:36Speaker 3: hundred bucks should cover it. It is outrageous. And understand,
- 3:40Speaker 3: this wasn't someone who had crossed the border and escape.
- 3:42Speaker 3: This is someone that Joe Biden Kamala Harris said, you know,
- 3:45Speaker 3: we need to fly this guy from Haiti to commit
- 3:48Speaker 3: these kind of crimes here. And by the way, another
- 3:51Speaker 3: of the countries included in this, as Venezuela, we have
- 3:53Speaker 3: talked about. I believe Maduro in Venezuela is very deliberately
- 3:58Speaker 3: systematically emptying his jails and sending criminals here, sending murderers,
- 4:03Speaker 3: sending rapists, sending child molesters, doing it deliberately, and it's
- 4:07Speaker 3: reminiscent of what Castro did with the Mario boat lift,
- 4:11Speaker 3: where Castro emptied the jails in Cuba and put criminals
- 4:15Speaker 3: and emptied the insane asylums and put people with serious
- 4:18Speaker 3: mental illness on boats and send them into America and
- 4:21Speaker 3: we saw crime wave result from that. I think Maduro
- 4:24Speaker 3: in Venezuela is doing the same thing. And so suddenly
- 4:29Speaker 3: this is actually, in many ways the same stories. The
- 4:31Speaker 3: one we talked about a minute ago, the reversal of
- 4:34Speaker 3: the nine to eleven plea deal, which is we are
- 4:36Speaker 3: less than one hundred days from an election. I think
- 4:39Speaker 3: the Biden administration realized, Hey, wait, people really don't like
- 4:44Speaker 3: chaos at our southern border and eleven and a half billion
- 4:46Speaker 3: people invading this country, and they really dislike that we're
- 4:48Speaker 3: facilitating it actively. And so again on Friday the news broke,
- 4:55Speaker 3: the Department of Homeland Security confirmed that quote out of
- 4:58Speaker 3: an abundance of caution, temporarily pause the issuing of advanced
- 5:02Speaker 3: Travel authorizations for the program, which allows up to thirty
- 5:06Speaker 3: thousand nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela to travel
- 5:09Speaker 3: into the US each month and enter legally under the
- 5:12Speaker 3: administration's use of parole if they meet certain conditions. A
- 5:17Speaker 3: Congressional source had told Fox News Digital that the pause
- 5:20Speaker 3: came in mid July after an internal report unearthed large
- 5:23Speaker 3: amounts of fraud no kidding in applications for those sponsoring
- 5:28Speaker 3: the applicants. DHS said the pause was occurring as it
- 5:32Speaker 3: reviewed sponsor applications. The focus is on issues with supporter
- 5:36Speaker 3: filings and not with the filings from beneficiaries of the
- 5:39Speaker 3: program themselves. Quote, DHS has review mechanisms in place to
- 5:44Speaker 3: detect and prevent for fraud abuse in our immigration processes.
- 5:48Speaker 3: DHS takes any abuse of its processes very seriously, a
- 5:51Speaker 3: DHS spokesperson said. Where frauds identified, us ICE will investigate
- 5:56Speaker 3: and litigate applicable cases in Immigration court to make criminal
- 5:59Speaker 3: referrals the Department of Justice. Quote, out of an abundance
- 6:03Speaker 3: of caution, DHS has temporarily paused the issuance of advanced
- 6:08Speaker 3: travel authorizations for new beneficiaries while it undertakes a review
- 6:12Speaker 3: of supporter applications. DHS will restart application processing as quickly
- 6:17Speaker 3: as possible with appropriate safeguards. Now, I want to emphasize
- 6:22Speaker 3: one word into what I just read, temporarily as in
- 6:27Speaker 3: temporarily paused. I'm going to make a prediction, if God forbid,
- 6:32Speaker 3: Kamala Harris wins temporarily will end in mid November. They'll
- 6:39Speaker 3: probably wait a week after election day, and then suddenly
- 6:42Speaker 3: the program is back on, and we've got another four
- 6:45Speaker 3: years of an invasion, and we'll see an eleven and
- 6:47Speaker 3: a half million people become twenty million or thirty million.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Those are the stakes of this election. If these guys win,
- 6:55Speaker 3: this temporary pause disappears and they return to the business
- 6:59Speaker 3: of invading our nation center.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I want to go to strategy for just a second here.
- 7:05Speaker 1: It's very weird to see how quickly we're moving on
- 7:08Speaker 1: on different issues. You know, Donald Trump gets shot at
- 7:11Speaker 1: Oh it's old news. A few weeks later, Joe Biden's
- 7:14Speaker 1: incompetent and resigned, you know, it says I'm not going
- 7:16Speaker 1: to run for reelection. Then we have no no, no
- 7:20Speaker 1: fight at a prime or at a convention. Bam Kamala
- 7:23Speaker 1: Harris gets it out of you know, and it's all
- 7:25Speaker 1: settled and done. You move on for that. Then they
- 7:27Speaker 1: start saying that jd. Vance is weird because he's a
- 7:29Speaker 1: family guy. But you know, hanging out with drag queens
- 7:32Speaker 1: and story hour at the White House and men with
- 7:35Speaker 1: fake breasts, you know, flashing people at the White House.
- 7:37Speaker 2: That's normal apparently and not weird.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You got everything that's happening at the Olympics, and we
- 7:43Speaker 1: still have this really big issue, which is a wide
- 7:45Speaker 1: open southern border.
- 7:46Speaker 2: We still have terrorists that are being caught.
- 7:48Speaker 1: We talked about that, we have potential tarists that are
- 7:51Speaker 1: trying to get onto military basis and they're being let go.
- 7:55Speaker 1: How do you keep this an election your issue if
- 7:59Speaker 1: you're Donald Trump against Kamala Harris specifically on this issue
- 8:04Speaker 1: and going, you guys like, not only have you created
- 8:06Speaker 1: the problem, you are the problem. The media tells us
- 8:09Speaker 1: she's out the borders are. We've already proven she was
- 8:12Speaker 1: absolutely named the borders are, and the media said it
- 8:14Speaker 1: quite a few times. Now they're trying to take that back.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So how do you deal with this issue with the
- 8:19Speaker 1: American voter where it matters three months out?
- 8:24Speaker 3: You focus on substance, You focus on issues, You focus
- 8:27Speaker 3: on Kamala's horrible record, You focus on the disaster that
- 8:30Speaker 3: it's meant for American families. And you're right, the media
- 8:34Speaker 3: is working over time trying to erase the last four years,
- 8:38Speaker 3: the fact that Donald Trump there was an attempted assassination attempt.
- 8:41Speaker 3: We've seen big tech, We've seen the media try to
- 8:44Speaker 3: completely erase that, just just trying to write it away.
- 8:47Speaker 3: On the fact that Kamala Harris was the borders are,
- 8:50Speaker 3: they're trying to gaslight and say that's not the truth.
- 8:52Speaker 3: On the fact that Kamala Harris, for years has called
- 8:55Speaker 3: for banning fracking. They're trying to erase that and say
- 8:57Speaker 3: that's not the truth and an open border. Look, look
- 9:00Speaker 3: these two decisions, the nine to eleven plea deal and
- 9:04Speaker 3: the program flying in over three hundred thousand illegal immigrants
- 9:07Speaker 3: every year. They're trying to reverse that just moments before
- 9:11Speaker 3: the election because they really do think the voters are dumb,
- 9:15Speaker 3: that they're easily fooled. But I mean, let's break down
- 9:18Speaker 3: some of the details. So this temporary pause in this
- 9:23Speaker 3: program was driven by an internal report at the Department
- 9:27Speaker 3: of Homeland Security about fraud. And let me break down
- 9:29Speaker 3: some of the substance of it, because we're not talking
- 9:31Speaker 3: a little fraud, we're talking massive fraud. So the report
- 9:35Speaker 3: showed that one hundred thousand, nine hundred and forty eight
- 9:40Speaker 3: forms were filled out by a total of three two
- 9:45Speaker 3: hundred and eighteen serial sponsors. A serial sponsor is someone
- 9:49Speaker 3: whose number appears on twenty or more forms. So you
- 9:52Speaker 3: got about three thousand people that are bringing in more
- 9:54Speaker 3: than one hundred thousand illegal immigrants. Now here's something that
- 9:58Speaker 3: will really blow you away. It found that twenty four
- 10:01Speaker 3: of the one thousand most used numbers belonged to a
- 10:05Speaker 3: dead person. Meanwhile, one hundred physical addresses were used between
- 10:14Speaker 3: one hundred and twenty four and seven hundred and thirty
- 10:18Speaker 3: nine times on a total of over nineteen thousand forms.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Those addresses included storage udents units. One sponsor phone number
- 10:29Speaker 3: was submitted on over two thousand forms, and there were
- 10:33Speaker 3: two eight hundred and thirty nine forms with non existence
- 10:37Speaker 3: sponsor ZIP codes. Look, this is rampant fraud, and it
- 10:44Speaker 3: is rampant fraud designed to create, facilitate, and accelerate a
- 10:51Speaker 3: criminal invasion of the United States of America. And I'm
- 10:56Speaker 3: going to stipulate right now that of those serial sponsors,
- 11:02Speaker 3: those three two hundred and eighteen serial sponsors all are
- 11:08Speaker 3: left wing Democrats. I have no proof of that. I
- 11:11Speaker 3: just live in the planet Earth. I'm aware of the
- 11:13Speaker 3: people who want this country to be invaded, and they're
- 11:17Speaker 3: committing fraud. And to be clear, the Biden Harris administration
- 11:23Speaker 3: doesn't care. They are happy to do this except in
- 11:28Speaker 3: the hundred days before an election, and the hundred days
- 11:30Speaker 3: before an election they will pretend to give a damn.
- 11:33Speaker 3: But it is cynical to the point. And by the way,
- 11:37Speaker 3: have you heard Joe Biden say word about this.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Not a word.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Have you heard Kamala Harris say word about this?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Nope?
- 11:44Speaker 3: How about even one Democrat senator, one Democrat house member.
- 11:48Speaker 2: None of them. They're completely silent, like it's not happening, like.
- 11:51Speaker 3: That report is stunning, and they will not even acknowledge
- 11:56Speaker 3: it exists. They just say, oh, no, no, we're pausing,
- 11:58Speaker 3: not happen, No, no, never mind, never mind, we got
- 12:00Speaker 3: an election to happen. Never mind at all.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 12:05Speaker 2: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 12:07Speaker 2: from earlier this week. Now onto story number two.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Senator, let me also ask you another question, and that's
- 12:15Speaker 1: going to be the debate. We there was a debate
- 12:18Speaker 1: that was offered up. Kamala Harris said no, that was
- 12:21Speaker 1: going to be on Fox. Now apparently they've agreed to
- 12:24Speaker 1: another debate on one of the major networks. And if
- 12:27Speaker 1: she's not doing interviews and you have to put out
- 12:29Speaker 1: press statements, you know that Vice President Harris pledges a
- 12:32Speaker 1: scheduled interview before the end of the month after speaking
- 12:35Speaker 1: with her team on Thursday. Quote, it's unclear if the
- 12:38Speaker 1: interview will take place in the last three weeks of
- 12:40Speaker 1: August or whether the interview scheduled interview scheduling will take
- 12:43Speaker 1: place before August ends, quote unquote. But Harris, as you
- 12:47Speaker 1: mentioned in the beginning of the show, has not given
- 12:50Speaker 1: one unscripted press conference since she joined the president to
- 12:54Speaker 1: race eighteen days ago.
- 12:55Speaker 2: To use the you know.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Walt's favorite word, that's weird and may can you avoid
- 13:00Speaker 1: the press until Labor Day twenty five days from now
- 13:03Speaker 1: twenty four days for now a long time. Here's Ally
- 13:06Speaker 1: told Politico for their publication, basically, I think limiting expectations.
- 13:13Speaker 1: And now you look at this, you go, Okay, she's
- 13:15Speaker 1: going into hiding. How important is the next president of debate?
- 13:18Speaker 4: Then well, look, Trump came out and challenged her to
- 13:23Speaker 4: three presidential debates. And that's a very normal thing to do.
- 13:25Speaker 4: If you look in history at modern times, there have
- 13:28Speaker 4: typically been three presidential debates and usually one vice presidential debate.
- 13:34Speaker 4: That's been the history for a long time. And so
- 13:36Speaker 4: what Trump challenged her to, he challenged her to it
- 13:39Speaker 4: on three different networks. That was a very reasonable challenge.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I don't think she'll accept. My prediction is we will
- 13:45Speaker 4: see one presidential debate between Trump and Kammala. I think
- 13:48Speaker 4: her team would love that to be zero, but I
- 13:51Speaker 4: think they will probably make the judgment that zero would
- 13:55Speaker 4: project so much weakness that it would be a problem.
- 14:00Speaker 4: I think the chances that they agree to three are
- 14:03Speaker 4: essentially zero because from their perspective, why would they Every
- 14:08Speaker 4: day they are getting tens of millions of dollars of
- 14:12Speaker 4: free press, and the press is just running a twenty
- 14:15Speaker 4: four hour infomercial for her, So why would she do
- 14:19Speaker 4: anything to take the Kamala Harris infomercial off TV? The
- 14:24Speaker 4: press wants her to win. I think they will feel like,
- 14:27Speaker 4: we got to do one and by the way, and
- 14:30Speaker 4: we'll talk about this as the debate approaches. Look, that
- 14:33Speaker 4: debate has has risks for both of them. It has
- 14:35Speaker 4: risks for her because when she's unscripted, when she's ad libbing,
- 14:42Speaker 4: she can say all sorts of zany things that are
- 14:44Speaker 4: not terribly impressive. But it also has risks for trumpet
- 14:47Speaker 4: In particular, it has risks for Trump of being too aggressive,
- 14:51Speaker 4: too mean, and that has a potential to backfire. Kamala
- 14:54Speaker 4: is not Joe Biden, and so you know, from from
- 15:00Speaker 4: the Democrat perspective, I think they would hope that Trump
- 15:04Speaker 4: would come across as a bully or mean, because I
- 15:08Speaker 4: think they would. They would be calculating that doing so
- 15:12Speaker 4: might well push swing voters to Kamala. And so where
- 15:15Speaker 4: I think we'll end up is one debate September or October.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I think Trump rightly will keep putting on.
- 15:23Speaker 1: ABC News has apparently yeah, well, ABC News has now
- 15:27Speaker 1: apparently confirmed that both Trump and Harris quote have agreed
- 15:32Speaker 1: to basic terms for their debate on September the tenth.
- 15:36Speaker 1: So you're saying you believe there's a very good chance
- 15:38Speaker 1: that may be the only debate they do.
- 15:41Speaker 4: And remember that was the previously agreed debate that that
- 15:44Speaker 4: Joe Biden had also agreed to that Trump initially was
- 15:48Speaker 4: pushing back and not wanting and saying how about we
- 15:50Speaker 4: do Fox instead, and Kamala didn't want to do that.
- 15:54Speaker 4: It's they both now said, Okay, we'll do ABC on
- 15:56Speaker 4: September tenth. I'd love to see three debates. I think
- 16:00Speaker 4: it would be better for democracy. I think would be
- 16:02Speaker 4: it would be better for the American people, for the voters.
- 16:05Speaker 4: But I think Kamala, Harris and the Democrats do not
- 16:08Speaker 4: give a flying flip about democracy. Don't give a flying
- 16:11Speaker 4: flip about the voters. They every single day that she
- 16:16Speaker 4: does nothing, the media is campaigning for twenty four hours
- 16:20Speaker 4: a day, and I think their entire strategy is don't
- 16:24Speaker 4: get in the way of the media campaign unfolding right now.
- 16:28Speaker 2: So let me ask you this.
- 16:29Speaker 1: And I look to Vegas every once a while because
- 16:31Speaker 1: it just I find it fascinating to see where they
- 16:33Speaker 1: and how they rank the race. You look at this
- 16:37Speaker 1: media propaganda that is historic on its scale for Harris
- 16:41Speaker 1: and all of the money that's flown in to boost
- 16:44Speaker 1: her and the ads that that are running.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Everyone I think has seen them.
- 16:48Speaker 4: Now.
- 16:49Speaker 1: She is now only at even odds with Trump in Vegas,
- 16:54Speaker 1: this after they've thrown everything that they have at Harris
- 16:58Speaker 1: to try to save the Democra Credit Party.
- 17:01Speaker 2: And the question is, is the Kama honeymoon over?
- 17:05Speaker 1: If it is, If it's straight up forty ninety nine
- 17:09Speaker 1: in Vegas right now, is this now going to turn
- 17:11Speaker 1: into somewhat of an actual and real campaign.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Look, I hope. So I still believe Trump is gonna
- 17:19Speaker 4: win in November, and that we're going to see a
- 17:22Speaker 4: very good election where Republicans win the White House, we
- 17:25Speaker 4: win the Senate and we win the House. That's what
- 17:27Speaker 4: I think is likely to happen. That being said, the
- 17:30Speaker 4: chances of that today are significantly less than they were
- 17:34Speaker 4: three weeks ago. Three weeks ago in Milwaukee and you
- 17:36Speaker 4: and I did several podcasts from Milwaukee Live from the
- 17:40Speaker 4: convention in Milwaukee, the feeling was exuberant. In fact, you
- 17:44Speaker 4: and I talked about on this podcast. At the convention,
- 17:47Speaker 4: I was worried, I said at the time, I think
- 17:51Speaker 4: Republicans are over confident, that that we feel like the
- 17:54Speaker 4: race is over. We're celebrating. You and I had conversations
- 17:58Speaker 4: with people there that that that that were already handing
- 18:01Speaker 4: out cabinet positions, And my view is the time for
- 18:04Speaker 4: celebration is after the election, not before now. The reason
- 18:09Speaker 4: there was such a sense of exuberance is because Joe
- 18:12Speaker 4: Biden was the opponent, and I think if Joe Biden
- 18:15Speaker 4: stayed the opponent, Trump would have won easily. And the
- 18:18Speaker 4: problem was Democrats came to that same conclusion, Oh crap,
- 18:21Speaker 4: we're going to lose if Biden's the president is the nominee.
- 18:24Speaker 4: So they yanked him out of the way and pushed
- 18:25Speaker 4: him aside and replaced him with Kamalin. Right now, three
- 18:29Speaker 4: weeks later, we've seen three weeks of relentless propaganda for Tamala,
- 18:35Speaker 4: and we have also seen so Trump, for much of
- 18:40Speaker 4: his presidential time and much of his campaigning time, has
- 18:44Speaker 4: been able to dominate the free media narrative, has been
- 18:47Speaker 4: able to drive the stories. The past three weeks, the
- 18:50Speaker 4: free media narrative has all been about Kamala. And I
- 18:53Speaker 4: think one challenge that I'm sure the Trump campaign has
- 18:56Speaker 4: focused on right now is how they drive the free
- 19:01Speaker 4: media narrative in a way that highlights how radical and
- 19:04Speaker 4: extreme Comma is. And I would say, I think it's
- 19:07Speaker 4: a mistake for them to get into personal issues, issues
- 19:13Speaker 4: that are unrelated to Kamala's extreme record, and in particular
- 19:18Speaker 4: how it impacts people listen. Every election, I think is decided.
- 19:23Speaker 1: To give us an example of what you mean by that,
- 19:26Speaker 1: give us an example because you said not reading in
- 19:29Speaker 1: the personal stuff.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Every election, I think is decided by the same basic question,
- 19:35Speaker 4: are you better off today than you were four years ago?
- 19:40Speaker 4: I think the Trump campaign ought to be discussing every
- 19:43Speaker 4: single day how ordinary people's lives are worse, how young
- 19:48Speaker 4: people coming out of school look, newly married, looking to
- 19:51Speaker 4: buy their first home are discovering that if you try
- 19:54Speaker 4: to buy a home with a seven or eight percent
- 19:56Speaker 4: mortgage instead of a two and a half percent mortgage,
- 19:59Speaker 4: you get half the house you used to be able
- 20:02Speaker 4: to get four years ago. Uh. Talking about seniors who
- 20:06Speaker 4: are discovering every one of their bills has gone up, uh,
- 20:10Speaker 4: and yet their income is not keeping pace. Talking about
- 20:15Speaker 4: families who are scared because illegal immigrants are being released
- 20:19Speaker 4: every single day, as I said on the stage in Milwaukee,
- 20:23Speaker 4: every damn day, an American is murdered, a woman is raped,
- 20:27Speaker 4: a child is assaulted and brutalized by illegal immigrants released
- 20:32Speaker 4: by Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and and I think the
- 20:36Speaker 4: Trump campaign should focus on how to drive the narrative
- 20:40Speaker 4: every day, both their they're paid messaging, but also as
- 20:43Speaker 4: much as possible the earned media on how people's lives
- 20:47Speaker 4: are worse now because of the failures. Kamala Harris should
- 20:53Speaker 4: not be able to run on the hypothetical of what
- 20:58Speaker 4: a Harris presidency would look like, because you know what
- 21:01Speaker 4: she and Joe have been in office for four years.
- 21:04Speaker 4: We know exactly what it looks like, and it's a
- 21:06Speaker 4: train wreck and the Trump campaign I think needs to
- 21:09Speaker 4: make that, make that the topic of discussion as much
- 21:13Speaker 4: as possible every day between now an election day.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Cener Her final question I have for you, and that is,
- 21:22Speaker 1: how do you prep if you're Donald Trump right now
- 21:26Speaker 1: for attacking a candidate that's in hiding. I mean, it's
- 21:29Speaker 1: different because the last time it was, the attack was
- 21:32Speaker 1: pretty clear. The line was he's incapacitated, he can't do
- 21:36Speaker 1: the job, referring to Biden. You can't use that line
- 21:39Speaker 1: against Harris. So what do you do to undermine her
- 21:42Speaker 1: in hiding? Do you say, Hey, I thought she was
- 21:44Speaker 1: able bodied, I guess she's not, and try to bait
- 21:47Speaker 1: her that way.
- 21:48Speaker 2: What's the strategy?
- 21:50Speaker 4: Look, I think you focus on substance. Her policies are extreme,
- 21:54Speaker 4: her record is extreme. Her record is a failure. Her
- 21:58Speaker 4: record is hurting you. Life is worse off. You know,
- 22:04Speaker 4: if you look at across the country, virtually no one
- 22:10Speaker 4: answers the question, yes, are you better off today than
- 22:13Speaker 4: you were four years ago, unless you happen to be
- 22:16Speaker 4: a big tech billionaire or a Mexican drug lord. And
- 22:20Speaker 4: by the way, if you're a Mexican drug lord, you
- 22:22Speaker 4: ought to vote for Kabala and Waltz, they're clearly the
- 22:24Speaker 4: candidate for you. If you're a big tech billionaire, they're
- 22:27Speaker 4: your candidate too. But but, but if you're a steel worker,
- 22:32Speaker 4: if if you're a suburban mom, if you're a young person,
- 22:36Speaker 4: if you're somebody, if you're a senior, if you're somebody
- 22:39Speaker 4: who loves America, if you're somebody who wants your kids safe,
- 22:42Speaker 4: if you're someone who wants your grandkids safe, if you're
- 22:44Speaker 4: someone who wants to see peace and prosperity in the
- 22:47Speaker 4: world and not h not chaos, then you ought that,
- 22:53Speaker 4: then the choice is a lot clearer. And that's what
- 22:57Speaker 4: I think the Trump campaign needs to be looking every
- 23:00Speaker 4: day to make that real and personal and why it
- 23:05Speaker 4: matters to you.
- 23:07Speaker 1: As before, if you want to hear the rest of
- 23:09Speaker 1: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 23:12Speaker 1: down the podcast from earlier this week to hear the
- 23:14Speaker 1: entire thing. I want to get back to the big
- 23:18Speaker 1: story number three of the week. You may have missed Center.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Snitch lines are used in communist countries socialist countries where
- 23:25Speaker 1: you and doctrinate kids to snitch on their parents, right,
- 23:28Speaker 1: and you tell them the kids, hey, come to school
- 23:31Speaker 1: and hey tell the authorities, Hey tell us the teachers
- 23:34Speaker 1: what your parents are doing that are going against the government.
- 23:37Speaker 1: And yet this is what the governor was doing in Minnesota,
- 23:40Speaker 1: actually using tax dollars to do exactly the same damn thing.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Look, we will lock you up. Write out your parents,
- 23:47Speaker 3: write out your kids, writ out your family members. The
- 23:49Speaker 3: government is in charge. Anyone who violates my lockdown order,
- 23:54Speaker 3: report on them to the government. But by the way,
- 23:57Speaker 3: it's not surprising that Tim Waltz loves him some communist China.
- 24:02Speaker 5: Listen to this clip and focusing on and I lived
- 24:05Speaker 5: in China, and as I said, I've been there about
- 24:07Speaker 5: thirty times. But if someone tells you and they're an
- 24:10Speaker 5: expert on China, they're probably not telling you the truth
- 24:12Speaker 5: because it's complex country, but it's critically important for us.
- 24:14Speaker 5: I don't fall into the category that China necessarily needs
- 24:18Speaker 5: to be an adversarial relationship. I totally disagree.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I mean, this is a guy and I go back
- 24:23Speaker 1: to what I said earlier. These clips need to be
- 24:26Speaker 1: shared everywhere. So if you are an avid listener verdict,
- 24:29Speaker 1: share this podcast on social media because the media is
- 24:34Speaker 1: not going to play any of this for you.
- 24:37Speaker 3: So to be clear, he's not even saying that China
- 24:39Speaker 3: is not our mortal enemy when we must destroy them.
- 24:42Speaker 3: He's saying, I don't fall into the category that China
- 24:47Speaker 3: needs to be an adversarial relationship. I totally disagree. This
- 24:53Speaker 3: is someone who's made a life embracing communist China. And
- 24:58Speaker 3: by the way, I want Chitty to hear a really
- 25:02Speaker 3: weird quote. A weird quote. So Tim Waltz grew up
- 25:08Speaker 3: in a town called West Point, Nebraska in the seventies
- 25:12Speaker 3: and eighties, and here's a quote that he said. He said,
- 25:16Speaker 3: Waltz has always been fascinated by communist China. He remembers
- 25:21Speaker 3: from his childhood pictures of Mao say tongue hung in
- 25:26Speaker 3: public places and carried in parades. Now, in West Point, Nebraska,
- 25:33Speaker 3: that was a town of about three three hundred people.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Who the hell was hanging pictures of Mao zay dung
- 25:40Speaker 3: and carrying them in parades. I mean, this is a
- 25:42Speaker 3: guy who literally says, like, there are pro communist parades
- 25:47Speaker 3: in Nebraska. Like what circles was this guy running on?
- 25:51Speaker 3: And you're right, the media is not going to report
- 25:53Speaker 3: on that. That's from a newspaper from an article where
- 25:57Speaker 3: they thought that was praising him. But all right, let's
- 26:02Speaker 3: go through a little bit more of his record. How
- 26:04Speaker 3: about open borders. So we know that he signed into
- 26:08Speaker 3: law a law that allows Minnesoesota records residents to get
- 26:13Speaker 3: driver's license even if they're illegal aliens. Play that clip.
- 26:17Speaker 3: It's done.
- 26:19Speaker 4: A packed room at the Saint Paul Armory erupted after
- 26:22Speaker 4: the governor's signature made driver's license for.
- 26:25Speaker 3: All the law of the land.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I mean, he was so excited about this. It is law.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Come to Minnesota, illegal immigrants, and I'll give you everything
- 26:35Speaker 1: you want, including that driver's license. And then he said
- 26:38Speaker 1: that every other state should do it as well.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Well, and listen, it's not like Tim Waltz, like Kamala
- 26:44Speaker 3: Harris is rooting for eleven and a half million illegal
- 26:47Speaker 3: immigrants to invade this country. Well no, actually it is.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Listen to what he said about whether he wants illegal
- 26:54Speaker 3: aliens to climb the border wall and invade this country illegally.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Play that clip, and.
- 26:59Speaker 5: I think seeing a plan that's out there talking about
- 27:03Speaker 5: it with folks knowing that he's not going to do anything.
- 27:06Speaker 3: He talks about this wall.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I always say, let me know how hi it is.
- 27:09Speaker 5: If it's twenty five feet, then I'll invest in the
- 27:11Speaker 5: thirty foot ladder factory. That's not how you stop this.
- 27:14Speaker 1: This is a guy that has done a one point
- 27:17Speaker 1: eighty from everything you would do if you believed in
- 27:21Speaker 1: securing our borders. He is a wide open sanctuary state.
- 27:25Speaker 1: He is in favor of adding lattery factories to help
- 27:28Speaker 1: illegals get across the wall if they built the wall.
- 27:31Speaker 1: He is a guy that says, come into our state,
- 27:35Speaker 1: wherever you're coming from in the world, we are a
- 27:38Speaker 1: sanctuary state, and we're proud to say that that is
- 27:40Speaker 1: what we are.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And this goes back to what you said.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He is a radical that is there clearly to help
- 27:47Speaker 1: Kamwa Harris enforce her radical agenda ideas well.
- 27:53Speaker 3: And understand he's not saying as like a financial matter
- 27:57Speaker 3: that he wants to invest in ladder companies, is not
- 28:00Speaker 3: advising that as a stock picking tip. What he's saying
- 28:03Speaker 3: is he's rooting for the people climbing the wall. He's
- 28:07Speaker 3: rooting for the people crossing into this country. And he's
- 28:09Speaker 3: not admitting this, but he's rooting for the human traffickers.
- 28:12Speaker 3: He's rooting effectively for the drug cartels. And that's exactly
- 28:17Speaker 3: where Kamala Harris is. Kamala Harris was our borders are.
- 28:20Speaker 3: She was in charge of the border during this invasion
- 28:24Speaker 3: of eleven and a half million people. And Tim Waltz
- 28:26Speaker 3: is there. He will be the cheerleader. The two of
- 28:29Speaker 3: them will will wave their pom poms, cheering on the invasion,
- 28:34Speaker 3: going Yay ladders, Yay tunnels, get into this country illegally.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Why because we think you're going to vote for Democrats.
- 28:40Speaker 3: And his record is he supports open borders. So does
- 28:46Speaker 3: Kamala Harris. That's why she picked him, Senator.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I mean, we really could see it in the just
- 28:50Speaker 1: moments and hours after the announcement from Kamala Harris of
- 28:56Speaker 1: the VP pick being Waltz, that the media had one
- 28:59Speaker 1: quick your plan and strategy, and that was describe the
- 29:03Speaker 1: pick Tim Waltz as a moderate.
- 29:06Speaker 2: He is nothing but a radical.
- 29:09Speaker 3: Listen. That is absolutely right. This is someone who is
- 29:13Speaker 3: an extremist. His record, he's embraced socialism, he's embraced open borders,
- 29:18Speaker 3: he's embraced COVID lockdown. He was responsible for shutting schools
- 29:22Speaker 3: down in Minnesota and hurting low income kids, hurting African
- 29:25Speaker 3: American kids, hurting Hispanic kids in his state. He's been
- 29:29Speaker 3: a radical on gender extremism, including castrating and sterilizing little
- 29:34Speaker 3: boys and little girls. He mandates that tampons be provided
- 29:39Speaker 3: a ten year old boys. He loves him. Some communist
- 29:43Speaker 3: Chinese lived in Chinese says we shouldn't be an adversary
- 29:46Speaker 3: with them. He's advocated latter factories to climb over border walls.
- 29:51Speaker 3: He has been extreme, but the media says, oh, he's
- 29:56Speaker 3: a midwestern guy. He was a school teacher. By the way, Bowman,
- 30:00Speaker 3: the squad member in New York who has just beaten
- 30:03Speaker 3: a Democrat primary because he was so radical and so
- 30:06Speaker 3: anti Israel and such socialists, he was a school teacher.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I gotta say, there are a bunch of radicals that
- 30:10Speaker 3: are school teachers. So just saying that is not a
- 30:15Speaker 3: moderating middle of the road factor necessarily, but part of
- 30:19Speaker 3: what the media is trying to say as well. He's
- 30:21Speaker 3: a Midwesterner who appeals to country folks. He appeals to
- 30:26Speaker 3: rural voters. Now, to be clear, in Minnesota he did
- 30:28Speaker 3: even worse with rural voters than his predecessors. But I
- 30:31Speaker 3: want you to listen to what Tim Waltz thinks about
- 30:35Speaker 3: rural America.
- 30:37Speaker 2: He goes maps red.
- 30:38Speaker 3: And blue, and there's all that red across there. Democrats
- 30:41Speaker 3: go into depression over it.
- 30:42Speaker 2: It's mostly rocks and cows that are in that red area.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Rocks and cows. Center that three thinks.
- 30:49Speaker 3: That's what he thinks about rural America. This is the
- 30:52Speaker 3: governor of Minneapolis, this is the governor of left wing
- 30:56Speaker 3: pro China radicals. And Kamala Harris is the vice president
- 31:01Speaker 3: of San Francisco. And that's who they're running to represent.
- 31:04Speaker 3: And if you'd happen not to be a San Francisco leftist,
- 31:07Speaker 3: if you happen not to be a Minneapolis leftist, if
- 31:11Speaker 3: you happen not to love communist China, not to love
- 31:13Speaker 3: open borders, not to love BLM rioters burning your city
- 31:16Speaker 3: to the ground, well they're not running to represent you.
- 31:19Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Center,
- 31:23Speaker 1: Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you don't forget to deal
