- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice? Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 8: dig me? Now what and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 8: radio show? Okay, here we go today, folks. This is
- 2:15Speaker 8: a good one because today I want to share with
- 2:19Speaker 8: you something that affects every living soul, and that one
- 2:25Speaker 8: thing is your attitude.
- 2:28Speaker 2: This affects everyone. It is your attitude.
- 2:34Speaker 9: You know.
- 2:36Speaker 8: I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I
- 2:39Speaker 8: mean many of you who listen know this. But there
- 2:42Speaker 8: are a lot of people who don't understand a positive
- 2:46Speaker 8: attitude can bring about a change. A positive attitude can
- 2:53Speaker 8: bring about a change. Well, now here we go with
- 2:56Speaker 8: the nay says, well, Steve, what you mean if I'm
- 2:58Speaker 8: just positive being chained? My mama gone, what me being
- 3:01Speaker 8: positive got to do?
- 3:02Speaker 9: With that.
- 3:03Speaker 8: Okay, Now listen to me carefully. A positive attitude can
- 3:08Speaker 8: bring about change. Well, okay, Steve, I hear you saying that,
- 3:12Speaker 8: but they done fired me. So now what does my
- 3:15Speaker 8: having a positive attitude have to do with the fact
- 3:17Speaker 8: that they fired me? Well, one more time, A positive
- 3:23Speaker 8: attitude can bring about change. Well, Steve, I set up
- 3:29Speaker 8: in here and gave eight nine, twelve years of my
- 3:33Speaker 8: life to this man and he just he cheated on
- 3:36Speaker 8: me and walked out. Now what does me being positive
- 3:39Speaker 8: have to do with him cheating on me? How that's
- 3:42Speaker 8: gonna change that? Okay, here we go again. A positive
- 3:47Speaker 8: attitude can bring about change. Now listen to the whole thing. Now,
- 3:52Speaker 8: the positive attitude and the change that can happen starts
- 4:00Speaker 8: to start. It starts within you. See, life is ten percent.
- 4:07Speaker 8: What happens is ninety percent what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 8: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:14Speaker 8: He cheated and left you holding the bag, the kids
- 4:16Speaker 8: and everything. Now what does being positive have to do
- 4:20Speaker 8: with changeing that? Or they came in and they fired you.
- 4:23Speaker 8: You lost your job that you was a stellar performer at.
- 4:26Speaker 8: But now how does you having a positive attitude. How
- 4:30Speaker 8: does that change things for you?
- 4:33Speaker 7: So far?
- 4:33Speaker 8: You can use any example. Here's what happens when you
- 4:38Speaker 8: have a positive attitude. What it produces within you is
- 4:43Speaker 8: a positive approach to life. And when you have a
- 4:46Speaker 8: positive attitude and a positive approach to life, it causes
- 4:51Speaker 8: you to be optimistic, to have a positive out look,
- 4:57Speaker 8: to expect things to eve eventually turn around and turn
- 5:02Speaker 8: into a positive That's very important because as the law
- 5:06Speaker 8: of attraction comes into play, if you think positive thoughts,
- 5:11Speaker 8: you attract positive things. If you think evil thoughts, you
- 5:17Speaker 8: attract evil to you. You know, if you want for nothing,
- 5:22Speaker 8: then nothing comes your way. If you want for positive attitude,
- 5:26Speaker 8: if you want for positive results, if you want for
- 5:28Speaker 8: a great outcome, that's what you attract to you. The
- 5:31Speaker 8: change will begin within you. So let's take the man
- 5:35Speaker 8: that walked out your life and left you hold in
- 5:37Speaker 8: the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay, two things have
- 5:42Speaker 8: happened that's positive.
- 5:43Speaker 9: Here.
- 5:44Speaker 8: Number one, you've rided yourself of someone who is obviously
- 5:48Speaker 8: going to be, if not already been, toxic in your life,
- 5:52Speaker 8: cause you many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings
- 5:57Speaker 8: of uneasiness. Not sure it's security. You've been going through
- 6:01Speaker 8: it with this person, whoever they are. Number One, that
- 6:04Speaker 8: person has been released from your life. Number Two, it
- 6:08Speaker 8: allows you now to have the someone who will treat
- 6:12Speaker 8: you just the way you want to be treated. That's
- 6:15Speaker 8: the positive outlook, that's the optimistic way. That's when you're
- 6:19Speaker 8: a positive person. You see the positive in things that
- 6:22Speaker 8: happen to you, instead of burying yourself under the what's
- 6:26Speaker 8: wrong with it? A old woe is me now concept?
- 6:29Speaker 8: See a positive attitude. When they came in there and
- 6:32Speaker 8: they fired you and let you go, could this not
- 6:36Speaker 8: have been just the opening you needed to finally start
- 6:40Speaker 8: on a new career path that you've been talking about
- 6:43Speaker 8: doing anyway? Could it possibly be a brand new chance
- 6:47Speaker 8: for you to get the dream job or dream career
- 6:51Speaker 8: of your choice. Could it not possibly be the perfect
- 6:55Speaker 8: opportunity now for you to finally finally do something about
- 7:01Speaker 8: that gift, about that talent that God gave you, that
- 7:04Speaker 8: thing that you love to do. Could it not be
- 7:06Speaker 8: the perfect time for you to pursue that. But if
- 7:09Speaker 8: you don't have a positive attitude, then you lay there.
- 7:12Speaker 8: Oh they finish, Come get in my house. Oh, what
- 7:16Speaker 8: I'm gonna do now? Oh, this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord,
- 7:20Speaker 8: when this unemployment run out, what am I gonna do?
- 7:23Speaker 8: Then I won't have nothing? And you old woe is
- 7:26Speaker 8: me until you become old woe is me. But if
- 7:29Speaker 8: you take it from the positive approach, some amazing things
- 7:34Speaker 8: can happen in your life. I will tell you on
- 7:36Speaker 8: a personal note that some of the most some of
- 7:39Speaker 8: the best changes, some of the biggest moments in my
- 7:43Speaker 8: life came after a loss. So I don't want to
- 7:46Speaker 8: go down the list, but boy, I could tell you.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Let me let me tell you something. When they didn't
- 7:50Speaker 8: want me on the radio anymore in La, when they
- 7:53Speaker 8: didn't when they were it was sick of the way
- 7:55Speaker 8: I did radio out there, and they wanted me gone.
- 7:59Speaker 8: And twenty thirty, two thousand and five, when my did
- 8:05Speaker 8: when when my deal was done with the beat out
- 8:10Speaker 8: in La. Okay, look what happened though. Yeah, I was
- 8:15Speaker 8: gone in May, But in September nineteenth I started to
- 8:18Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You see. But I didn't go old woe as me.
- 8:25Speaker 8: I said, Oh okay, God must have something else from
- 8:29Speaker 8: it inn because if he didn't remove me from this,
- 8:32Speaker 8: That must be something else. Same thing can happen when
- 8:34Speaker 8: you lose and you break up in a relationship. Same
- 8:38Speaker 8: thing can happen to you. You never know the one
- 8:40Speaker 8: God God for you. Now Here you go, Here you
- 8:43Speaker 8: go again. Now you get put into a situation where
- 8:45Speaker 8: somebody treat you just the way you want to be treated,
- 8:48Speaker 8: provide you a whole lot of aspects of your life
- 8:51Speaker 8: you knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta
- 8:53Speaker 8: stay positive. If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that
- 8:57Speaker 8: optimistic outlook, that always thinking God got me no matter
- 9:03Speaker 8: what happened to me, some amazing things that's going will
- 9:07Speaker 8: happen in your life.
- 9:08Speaker 2: It's a fact. I don't know how it works that way.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I just know that's what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all.
- 9:15Speaker 8: So get off the old woe is Me negativity train
- 9:18Speaker 8: because it ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and
- 9:20Speaker 8: get get your outlook up. If you change your attitude,
- 9:24Speaker 8: you change your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude.
- 9:29Speaker 8: How high you go, how big you become, how far
- 9:32Speaker 8: you go. It all depends on how you think. It
- 9:36Speaker 8: all depends on what type of attitude you got ain't no,
- 9:40Speaker 8: ain't no very very successful, super negative people. It just
- 9:44Speaker 8: doesn't coincide that way. If you see that something that
- 9:47Speaker 8: happened to them along the way, and don't worry. You
- 9:49Speaker 8: ain't gotta worry about it because you ain't gonna see
- 9:51Speaker 8: him long because you can't stay up there like that.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's just too hard, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 10: That's the conversation your listening to the Steve Harvey morning
- 9:59Speaker 10: s y'all.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. It is here another great daye man,
- 10:06Speaker 2: oh man, Man, I'm excited. He just keep on doing it.
- 10:10Speaker 2: He just keeps on showing up. Man, Thank you Heaven
- 10:14Speaker 2: and Father. Y'all.
- 10:16Speaker 8: I'm telling you no better way to start your day
- 10:19Speaker 8: than to be grateful. It just opens up the windows
- 10:22Speaker 8: of heaven makes room for you, and the angels rejoice
- 10:26Speaker 8: when you show gratitude.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's just an.
- 10:28Speaker 8: Amazing thing, and it just it minimizes the things that's
- 10:33Speaker 8: going on in.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Your life that's not of the positive nature.
- 10:36Speaker 8: And it just helps you realize, man, that God is
- 10:39Speaker 8: still on the throne, still in the blessing business. Go
- 10:42Speaker 8: Shrey Strawberry Colin for Real Mouth out of South Junior
- 10:47Speaker 8: nephew Tommy.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yeah, all us hep up here. Show you what's on
- 10:52Speaker 2: your mind?
- 10:52Speaker 9: Dare man?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Let me ask you this man, you know you did
- 10:55Speaker 1: it all now.
- 10:56Speaker 7: I mean you have the time, and it's just if
- 10:58Speaker 7: anybody in any biding unble.
- 10:59Speaker 2: What is your motivation? What's your wine?
- 11:01Speaker 7: Now?
- 11:02Speaker 8: Well, you got to have your purpose has changed often
- 11:05Speaker 8: in life, and you got to be conscious of it.
- 11:08Speaker 2: You got to rearrange it all the time. First it
- 11:10Speaker 2: was about me.
- 11:13Speaker 8: I needed to be successful because I thought I could
- 11:16Speaker 8: help more people that way. But I found out along
- 11:19Speaker 8: the way that your mission is always to help others.
- 11:23Speaker 8: Even on your climb to the top, you have to
- 11:26Speaker 8: extend your hand to help others. I was listening to
- 11:30Speaker 8: Joel Olstein over the weekend and he was pointing that
- 11:32Speaker 8: out that whenever you need something, don't forget the other
- 11:36Speaker 8: people who need something too, because part of your blessing,
- 11:38Speaker 8: and a huge part of your blessing, comes when you
- 11:41Speaker 8: do something for other people. God blesses you to become
- 11:45Speaker 8: a blessing, and the more of a blessing you are
- 11:48Speaker 8: to other people, the more he'll bless you with. So
- 11:50Speaker 8: you continue to be an even bigger blessing, you see,
- 11:54Speaker 8: And so you've got to make your motivation. It cannot
- 11:57Speaker 8: always be about you understand the human side of it,
- 12:01Speaker 8: because I suffer from that oftentimes myself.
- 12:04Speaker 2: But the reality of the matter is, it's not about me.
- 12:08Speaker 8: The motivation for me now is purely I would have
- 12:12Speaker 8: to say, the motivation for me now is eighty.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Percent my family.
- 12:17Speaker 8: Eighty percent is my family, you know, twenty percent. You know,
- 12:21Speaker 8: of course I'm human. I won't recognition for my work,
- 12:25Speaker 8: you know, that's the human side of it. But if
- 12:29Speaker 8: I don't get the recognition, that's fine, because I changed
- 12:32Speaker 8: my want in life anyway I used to want I
- 12:37Speaker 8: used to want rewards, I mean awards. I changed it
- 12:42Speaker 8: from awards that I just want the reward now. But
- 12:46Speaker 8: I just my life now is more into the awards
- 12:51Speaker 8: than the and to the rewards as opposed to the awards,
- 12:55Speaker 8: because I thought that's what it was all about.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Man, I got invited to the show, I got a
- 13:00Speaker 2: canvas seat, I got to go.
- 13:01Speaker 7: I got to go.
- 13:03Speaker 2: No, man, I don't have to do that.
- 13:05Speaker 8: I mean, because I found out that what God wanted
- 13:08Speaker 8: me for is much bigger than that anyway, So your
- 13:13Speaker 8: focus will change about what it is you want out
- 13:16Speaker 8: of life. But as long as you make it about
- 13:18Speaker 8: others and someone else other than you, the greater your
- 13:21Speaker 8: chances up achieving.
- 13:24Speaker 7: I take that seat, though, if you don't want to
- 13:27Speaker 7: see seat being empty, I mean, somebody even get there,
- 13:34Speaker 7: all right?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:39Speaker 4: hear from the nephew yet again with the prank phone
- 13:42Speaker 4: call ise. He runs the prank back right after this.

- 14:54Speaker 11: Okay, okay, I probably got name me to wake you up.

- 15:05Speaker 13: Something?
- 15:06Speaker 11: No? No, no, no, no, no, no no no. I
- 15:07Speaker 11: talked to your wife, man. She's interested in this thing
- 15:10Speaker 11: we got man called a ford to three relationship. She
- 15:13Speaker 11: told me she wanted me to call back and talk
- 15:14Speaker 11: to her husband about it, and she gave me the
- 15:16Speaker 11: number to hit you up at the house, man and
- 15:19Speaker 11: let you know all about the four to three relationship
- 15:21Speaker 11: because she's really interested in it.
- 15:22Speaker 12: A four to three relationship. And you say you talked
- 15:26Speaker 12: to my wife about it.
- 15:27Speaker 11: Yeah. I talked to Keisha a couple of days ago.
- 15:28Speaker 11: She gave me the number, she said, called him back.
- 15:30Speaker 11: He'll be at home at this time. You can hit
- 15:32Speaker 11: him up and see if he likes she said. But
- 15:34Speaker 11: she definitely likes it, man, And she wanted to see
- 15:36Speaker 11: if you would be interested in the four three relationship too.
- 15:39Speaker 11: You know, I want to get your approval on it
- 15:40Speaker 11: before we went in there further. But your wife was
- 15:43Speaker 11: very excited about it, man. She was wanting to get
- 15:46Speaker 11: started as soon as possible. And I wanted to see
- 15:48Speaker 11: about contacting you with making sure that you agreed and
- 15:51Speaker 11: approved on everything. But she definitely wanted to get your blessing,
- 15:54Speaker 11: gets your approval on it. Yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 12: I've tried to do anything to make her happy, though,
- 15:59Speaker 12: but to get some more some information about this. What
- 16:03Speaker 12: is that again for three three?
- 16:05Speaker 11: No? No, it's a four to three, A four to
- 16:07Speaker 11: three relationship is what it is.
- 16:09Speaker 12: Okay, Well, if it make her happy, you know, I'm
- 16:11Speaker 12: willing to listen.
- 16:11Speaker 11: Okay, Well, listen, man, we were probably gonna get started
- 16:14Speaker 11: right away, probably Monday. We'll just started on Monday. Uh,
- 16:17Speaker 11: you'll go through Monday through Thursday and then and then
- 16:21Speaker 11: I'll pick up you know, Friday through Sunday, man, and
- 16:23Speaker 11: we'll go ahead and get this thing started. I think
- 16:24Speaker 11: after a month you'll pretty much catch on everything.
- 16:27Speaker 12: You know, this something gonna be shipped to the house
- 16:31Speaker 12: a pick you say, pick up?
- 16:33Speaker 13: What you mean?
- 16:33Speaker 8: Pick up?

- 16:35Speaker 12: Of this to you, no, man, shen't miss nothing this
- 16:37Speaker 12: to me?
- 16:38Speaker 11: Okay?
- 16:39Speaker 7: All right?
- 16:39Speaker 11: Well what this is, man? A four to three relationship, Maurice?
- 16:42Speaker 11: Is this? You know? You spend four days with Keisha
- 16:46Speaker 11: and she comes over to my place and she spends
- 16:49Speaker 11: the other three days with me. That's what a four
- 16:52Speaker 11: to three relationship. So see this kind of frees you up,
- 16:54Speaker 11: man on anything you might want to do on those
- 16:57Speaker 11: other three days. Man, well she might be tying you down,
- 17:00Speaker 11: you know, so for them days you know you would hearn.
- 17:02Speaker 11: But the other three days you kind of have some
- 17:04Speaker 11: free time to yourself, but should be over my place
- 17:07Speaker 11: on the other three days. That's what that's what basically
- 17:09Speaker 11: a forty three relationship is. Pardon me said, what now?
- 17:13Speaker 15: I say?
- 17:13Speaker 12: Pardon me? You say, she'll spend four days with me,
- 17:17Speaker 12: three days with you.
- 17:19Speaker 11: That's that's it, sir, That's the four to three relationship?

- 17:58Speaker 7: What's wrong?
- 17:58Speaker 13: That's my wife?
- 18:00Speaker 11: Brother.

- 18:07Speaker 11: the four three man.

- 22:08Speaker 4: Once again, there's sonos dot com. It is time to
- 22:13Speaker 4: ask the clo. Steve Harvey. Aaron in Tempe writes that
- 22:19Speaker 4: my husband has the ugliest feat I've ever seen, and
- 22:23Speaker 4: they're very dry. He won't get pedicures because his feet
- 22:26Speaker 4: are ticklish, and I can't bear another night with his
- 22:30Speaker 4: rough feet. How can a man be ticklish? Is it
- 22:33Speaker 4: a real thing or an excuse to avoid pedicures?
- 22:37Speaker 8: Ticklish problems? Ticklish is not your problem. Your problem started
- 22:46Speaker 8: at the top of your question. Your man got the
- 22:48Speaker 8: ugliest feet you've ever seen. You married his pre too
- 22:51Speaker 8: muggly s feet. They didn't just get ugly, but you
- 22:55Speaker 8: like some other things about it. Now some things and
- 22:57Speaker 8: now you're married for a while, and things, and you
- 23:00Speaker 8: settle on in Now it is what's wrong with it?
- 23:03Speaker 2: You know, you the wife.
- 23:04Speaker 8: If you can't convince him for what you want us
- 23:06Speaker 8: to do, if you can't get your man to start
- 23:10Speaker 8: putting lotion on his feet and clipping his nail, he
- 23:13Speaker 8: can clip hi himself, but put some lotion on. You
- 23:17Speaker 8: got to get that first of all. He probably need
- 23:19Speaker 8: to just start with this corn huskersltion. Okay, it's called
- 23:25Speaker 8: corn husker slotion. It's thick, it's it's it's their motor
- 23:30Speaker 8: on w D thirty. You got you gotta start down.
- 23:35Speaker 8: And then after that, once you did that corn hustle,
- 23:38Speaker 8: you gotta to put vaslin on his feet and make
- 23:41Speaker 8: him wear white sox at night. You gotta do this
- 23:45Speaker 8: for about a week, okay, and then that a tender
- 23:49Speaker 8: rise him. It's like it's like tender rise in meat,
- 23:54Speaker 8: and that'll get you some help. And then cut off
- 23:57Speaker 8: all sexual activity until he cooperates.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Right, Oh, all right? Next question, Shey.
- 24:07Speaker 4: Hyacinth and Philly says, my boyfriend's dad is very flirtatious
- 24:12Speaker 4: and often says that he needs a woman like me.
- 24:14Speaker 4: He came by our apartment to see the baby, and
- 24:16Speaker 4: my boyfriend wasn't home, and as he left, he put
- 24:20Speaker 4: his hand on the back of my neck and kissed
- 24:22Speaker 4: my forehead. I got so turned on. Should I ask
- 24:27Speaker 4: daddy what he really wants or avoid him?
- 24:29Speaker 2: What wasn't the word?
- 24:33Speaker 8: Well, I wasn't looking for this to go that way.
- 24:37Speaker 8: Ain't you a little special thing? But he came by
- 24:41Speaker 8: to see the baby, the baby that you just had
- 24:44Speaker 8: with his boy. He left, put your hand on you
- 24:47Speaker 8: and kissed you. On the forehead.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Now you're thinking about do you want to see what
- 24:52Speaker 2: daddy wants? No, what you need to do is.
- 24:57Speaker 8: Let them hormones balance theyself out and take care of
- 25:01Speaker 8: your baby, because you're gonna mess around and lose everything.
- 25:06Speaker 2: He like him, she said, she turned on.
- 25:09Speaker 8: You like him and he's flirtations. You know, he know
- 25:13Speaker 8: what he's doing. Uh, he's smooth with it.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Yeah. Still got that car cologne on. He got some hoss.
- 25:30Speaker 2: That boy.
- 25:31Speaker 8: That boy keep it in the glove box. He got
- 25:34Speaker 8: one of the old car, but it's in mint conditional.
- 25:43Speaker 8: Got the guys in the window. He got to stay
- 25:45Speaker 8: and who he'll wrap on? They only make stare. We
- 25:49Speaker 8: will wrap no more. He still got one.
- 25:51Speaker 10: He sold it to today right now, Steve, how much
- 25:54Speaker 10: would it be worth?
- 25:56Speaker 2: All about twenty six? Whoa's it's worked in the blue book.
- 26:06Speaker 2: But you can get it on the on the on
- 26:07Speaker 2: the great market and gangs of the pay for that.
- 26:10Speaker 4: Yeah met condition. All right, I just watch yourself please,
- 26:17Speaker 4: all right. Moving on to Shaquille in Colombia. Shaquille said,
- 26:21Speaker 4: I had a sugar daddy about ten years ago and
- 26:24Speaker 4: he died recently. I was asked to sing at his funeral,
- 26:28Speaker 4: and I got ready to, but his widow embarrassed me
- 26:31Speaker 4: and told the church that I used to sleep with him.
- 26:35Speaker 10: Why would she act like that at his funeral?
- 26:37Speaker 2: God? Well, what was you going up there to saying?
- 26:41Speaker 7: Uh?
- 26:43Speaker 2: Oh oh, miss you, miss you, miss you missed you,
- 26:55Speaker 2: miss you.
- 27:01Speaker 8: If you want to know the truth about it, come
- 27:04Speaker 8: on now, girl, I just can't live without you.
- 27:10Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 8: No, I think she did the right thing. Why would
- 27:15Speaker 8: she go up there you were sleeping with him? No,
- 27:18Speaker 8: how you think this ain't gonna what? You're not singing at.
- 27:23Speaker 1: The funeral my husband's funeral. You're not doing all that.
- 27:26Speaker 10: You who asked her to sing at the funeral?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Somebody?
- 27:30Speaker 17: You know?
- 27:31Speaker 8: She sang at the church and everything she didn't know.
- 27:34Speaker 8: But yeah, but the wife knew bout it. That's what
- 27:44Speaker 8: she say.
- 27:46Speaker 10: Yeah, that is what she says.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Okay, you know, wife held on to that information.
- 27:53Speaker 1: He's gonna die one day.
- 27:54Speaker 10: I'll get you.

- 56:41Speaker 7: We got it for you here. It is the Strawberry Letter.
- 56:45Speaker 4: Thank you for you subject. You're not doing that tonight,
- 56:49Speaker 4: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm dating a man that has a
- 56:52Speaker 4: beautiful personality, and we clicked the moment we met. But
- 56:57Speaker 4: there's a side to him that I just saw for
- 56:59Speaker 4: the first time, and I don't know if I'm with
- 57:02Speaker 4: the right man. He always smells amazing because he has
- 57:07Speaker 4: lots of body oils, lotions and potions that he uses
- 57:10Speaker 4: every day. He uses a lot more than I do,
- 57:13Speaker 4: so I used to joke him about his products. Then
- 57:19Speaker 4: one day I had bad cramps and he gave me
- 57:22Speaker 4: a hot oil massage to ease the pain, and it worked.
- 57:26Speaker 4: I was hooked until one night I got a massage
- 57:29Speaker 4: and got up to go to the bathroom and I
- 57:31Speaker 4: slipped on the wood floor and almost broke my ankle
- 57:35Speaker 4: because I was so greasy. He prefers to be oiled
- 57:39Speaker 4: up and glistening all of the time. He said it
- 57:42Speaker 4: is because he's a chocolate brother and he's always ashy,
- 57:45Speaker 4: But I think it's a fetish. He's always in the
- 57:48Speaker 4: bathroom longer than I am, and it takes him longer
- 57:51Speaker 4: to get dressed. I could deal with that, But what
- 57:54Speaker 4: got my attention and has me second guessing him.
- 57:56Speaker 10: Is what went down.
- 57:57Speaker 4: Saturday. My boyfriend's co worker and wife came to visit,
- 58:01Speaker 4: and his wife was limping. She says she heard her
- 58:04Speaker 4: leg having sex. I tried to change the subject, but
- 58:08Speaker 4: then my boyfriend blurted out that he can help her
- 58:10Speaker 4: get rid of her leg pains. She said that would
- 58:15Speaker 4: be great. My boyfriend told her to take off her
- 58:17Speaker 4: pants and lie on the lounger on the patio. Everyone
- 58:23Speaker 4: seemed okay with this, except for me. I reminded him
- 58:26Speaker 4: that he works for the government, not a spot. He said,
- 58:32Speaker 4: he has massaged both of them before, so it's no
- 58:35Speaker 4: big deal. I told him he wasn't doing it again,
- 58:38Speaker 4: and he got mad, so they left. Was he just
- 58:41Speaker 4: being helpful or was I right to stop him? Well,
- 58:45Speaker 4: I mean it sounds to me like he was being helpful,
- 58:48Speaker 4: but you stopped him anyway. I'm just trying to figure
- 58:51Speaker 4: out what you're trying to figure out about him. You
- 58:54Speaker 4: said so many good things about him in the letter.
- 58:56Speaker 4: He has a beautiful personality, you guys. The moment you met,
- 59:01Speaker 4: he always smells amazing. He gives you massages when you're
- 59:05Speaker 4: not feeling well.
- 59:06Speaker 10: And it works and you love it.
- 59:08Speaker 4: And he's also helpful with others, and that should be
- 59:12Speaker 4: all good, right, or you would think it would be
- 59:14Speaker 4: all good.
- 59:16Speaker 10: He's well groomed, he's.
- 59:17Speaker 4: Not ashy by ashy. But now here you are trying
- 59:21Speaker 4: to regulate and say something's wrong with him. You know,
- 59:25Speaker 4: on the sly you're trying to say something about him.
- 59:29Speaker 4: It sounds like a decent, caring, professional man who's good
- 59:33Speaker 4: at what he does, and the people around him.
- 59:36Speaker 10: Appreciate what he does.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Yes, he works for the government, but apparently he's a
- 59:40Speaker 4: good messuse as well. I say, please stop making problems
- 59:44Speaker 4: where there are none. This man takes care of himself
- 59:48Speaker 4: and the others around him. That should be a good thing.
- 59:50Speaker 4: And that's why everyone's okay with this, well everyone but you.
- 59:55Speaker 4: I think you're kind of cramping his style a little
- 59:57Speaker 4: bit because you broke the party up and I think
- 59:59Speaker 4: you just neath to chill.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: It's not that serious.
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: Steve, What.
- 1:00:06Speaker 13: What letter.
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: Do we read? A different letter?
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: Did I hear?
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: Is something missing? You're cramping the stars? It seems like
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: what yo, yo? What this letter crazy? This letter got
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: crazy rode all over it? You crazy?
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: He crazy?
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: It ain't crazy?
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: What this don't make no sense.
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: I'm dating a man that's a beautiful personality. Clicked.
- 1:00:37Speaker 8: We clicked the moment we met. There's a side of
- 1:00:39Speaker 8: him I just saw for the first time. And I
- 1:00:41Speaker 8: don't know if I'm with the right man.
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: You ain't. You ain't with the right man.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: No, not this letter I just read on what Charlie
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: talking about. You're gramping this dog. Give him a chance.
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: He's wonderful.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: What this is crazy? He always smells amazing because he has.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: Lots of body ors, lotionstions, potions, black news. Don't do
- 1:01:02Speaker 8: pouch right, there's another stuff in here. He got body
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: of lotions, potions, pouches. We gotta start looking.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: At this boy.
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: He uses a lot more than I do. I used
- 1:01:15Speaker 8: to joke him about the product and uh. And then
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: one day I had bad crimps. He gave me a
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: hot all massage. He's a paint and it worn't. I
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: was hooked until one night I got a massage. I
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: got him go to the bathroom. I slipped on the
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: wooden floor, almost broke my ankle because I was so greased.
- 1:01:35Speaker 8: He preferred to be all up and glistening all the time.
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: He said, because he's chocolate brother, he's always ashy, But
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: I think it's a fetish.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Oh, it's wave on the fetish.
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: Lest Oh, it's we waved more than a fetish. I
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: like baby or how I got a feedsh that's fetish. No,
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: there's something else right here. He's always in the bathroom
- 1:01:57Speaker 8: long and I nam it takes him longer to get dressed. Okay,
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: gotta start. That ain't normal, but okay, I could deal
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: with that. But what got my attention has me second
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: guessing is what went down sad. My boyfriend's coworker and
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: his wife came to visit and his wife was limping.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: She said she hurt her leg having sex.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Who the hell you just not.
- 1:02:29Speaker 8: Meeting at your house from a coworker and a wife
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: that's limping. And she got the audacity to just come
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: out and tell you I hurt my leg having sex.
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: Where did he have her leg off to where she limping? Okay,
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: when we come back, I'm gonna tell you what's wrong
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: with this now? All right, all right?
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: Coming up, we'll have part two of Steve's responds at
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: twenty three minutes after the hours today struck letter.
- 1:03:00Speaker 10: Subject is you.
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: Are not doing that tonight? Okay, we'll get back into
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: Have you heard about Trainer Games? Add this to your
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: bens list. This season, ten athletes will face the toughest
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: job interview in fitness that will push them past physical
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: and mental breaking points with grueling challenges that can be
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: only one winner, who is the fittest of the fit
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: and leave here with an eye fit contract where two
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: hundred and fifty thousand dollars Who will you be rooting for?

- 1:03:45Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve.
- 1:03:46Speaker 4: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject is You're not
- 1:03:49Speaker 4: doing that tonight?
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: Yeah, you ain't doing that tonight.
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: Now, Shirley gave her response, we own two different programs
- 1:03:56Speaker 8: with this letter right here, because I think this whole letter.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Crazy and he goes he getting real crazy at the end. Now,
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: I don't know how.
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: Helpful crazy mess they clicked the moment they met. I
- 1:04:12Speaker 8: just saw him, and I don't know if I'm with
- 1:04:13Speaker 8: the right man. He smells amazing, A lot of ows,
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: lotions and posh. Right there, a black dude is okay
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: with olls and lotions. Black dudes don't normally mess with posh. Okay,
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: So now you got this whitch slash wallot living and shoulder.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Out of there for something.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: After with no man talking about posher, I had some
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: bad cramps one take. He gave me a hot old
- 1:04:43Speaker 8: massage and it worked and I was hooked. And then
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: one night I got a massage. I get him go
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: to the bathroom. I slipped on the wooden floor, almost
- 1:04:50Speaker 8: broke my ankle because it was so greasy. He prefers
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: to me all up and glistened all the time, he said,
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: because he's a chocolate brother and he don't want to
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: look ashy.
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: But I think it's fetish. This is way more than
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: the fetched. Look.
- 1:05:01Speaker 8: Girl, he's always in the bathroom longer than I am
- 1:05:04Speaker 8: and takes him longer to get dressed. That's a little
- 1:05:06Speaker 8: bit different right there. But if you could deal with it, okay,
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: she could. I could deal with that. But what got
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: my attention?
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Would, he asked me? Second? Guess him? Is what went down? Sad?
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Now here's where the letter takes a turn that.
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: I don't know how anybody would overlook this, but I'm
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: not my boyfriend's co working. His wife came to visit.
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: Now this who you hang out with it working coworking wife.
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: They came to visit. His wife was limpid. Now somebody
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: must have said, why you limping? She said, she hurt
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: her leg having sex. Now, you know, anybody else would
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: have made up anything else. Ain't nobody fit to tell
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: that girl I was going down the steps and slipped
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: or anything, or I was on some ice, I was
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: on some baby on in the bathroom. You could have
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: telled anything, but I hurt my leg having sex. That
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: was debate remark. I tried to change the subject, but
- 1:06:09Speaker 8: then my boyfriend blurted out that he can help her
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: get rid of her leg pain. He said this to
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: his coworker's girlfriend. She said that would be great. Wife, Yeah,
- 1:06:25Speaker 8: this is coworker's wife. She said that would be great.
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: My boyfriend told her take off her pants and lay
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: on the lounger on the pack.
- 1:06:34Speaker 10: What he's helpful, Steve?
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: What man.
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: Can say in front of his girl to another woman
- 1:06:44Speaker 8: that's married to his coworker, which is another dude, take
- 1:06:51Speaker 8: off your pants.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:07:03Speaker 8: Here a government worker. He ain't got a massage parlor.
- 1:07:09Speaker 8: He ain't got a table at the house that he
- 1:07:11Speaker 8: traveled with. He'll do house calls. My boyfriend told her
- 1:07:16Speaker 8: take off your pants and lay on the lounger on
- 1:07:20Speaker 8: the patio. He go the next part. Everybody seem okay
- 1:07:24Speaker 8: with this. Wait then hold up, So this was cool
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: with the lady who is married to his coworker. Take
- 1:07:33Speaker 8: your pants off, go out that letter.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Okay? The husband his boy coworker.
- 1:07:40Speaker 8: Yeah, man, my wife could take her pants off and
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: go lay on your lounge. Boy, miss me, you don't
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: see this little swinging thing going on. He bought them
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: over there to swing. He bought them over there to swang,
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: and you just didn't.
- 1:07:56Speaker 7: You didn't get it.
- 1:07:58Speaker 8: I hurt my leg having set. You knew, I'm gonna say,
- 1:08:02Speaker 8: because this is what it is. Everybody seemed okay with
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: this except me. I reminded him. You work for the government,
- 1:08:09Speaker 8: not a spot. Hey, you got me working you.
- 1:08:14Speaker 10: You he could do more than one thing.
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: But since wind though, when you start doing this for
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: other people, that's when you start doing this for other
- 1:08:23Speaker 8: women and in front of their husbands on I pat him,
- 1:08:27Speaker 8: you told this woman to take her pants off?
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Hold up?
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: Did he told her I massage both of them before,
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: so it ain't no big deal. What women hold up?
- 1:08:44Speaker 8: He didn't massage the wife before, but he didn't massage
- 1:08:50Speaker 8: the husband before too. Hey man, let me tell you something.
- 1:08:54Speaker 8: I've done a couple couple of massages with my wife.
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: Rule number one, ain't no man rubbing and hu and
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: can't no and k no.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: Man rubbed me.
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: A woman can rub me, and a woman could rub her,
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: but k no man rubbed her and king no man
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: rubbed me.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: You can't have your thumbs on the back of my fas.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: You can't do that.
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: That ain't that ain't what we do it doom, you
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: call me whatever you want to call me. They miss
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: the rule I don't want to talk about here. You
- 1:09:30Speaker 8: the massage huh and hell? And they was both fine
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: with it. I told her he wasn't doing it again,
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: and he got mad, so they left. They left because
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: now I ain't gonna be the swing, and they thought
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: it was because she won't even go along with the massage. Lord,
- 1:09:45Speaker 8: she finn to go with the rest of us that
- 1:09:47Speaker 8: we're finna do with this all and put the potions on.

- 1:12:47Speaker 1: Sitting around with a stick in your mouth. What I

- 1:12:56Speaker 15: Invite me? Okay, okay, and do this every day. I
- 1:13:02Speaker 15: love you to death. We just stopped by the point.
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: No, no, he's so angry.
- 1:13:09Speaker 15: Just had to get this up because a lot of
- 1:13:11Speaker 15: people feel the way you go. And there's no music.
- 1:13:14Speaker 15: You nobody doing electrics?
- 1:13:16Speaker 9: The hell?
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: Why car Africa?

- 1:13:30Speaker 1: I have no idea when the hell cans.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Is going on?
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Do not invite me to a Kanza party.
- 1:13:43Speaker 11: We won't.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: We don't put kwanza.
- 1:13:44Speaker 15: I don't even know how to work Kuanza and party
- 1:13:47Speaker 15: go together, because that's not a party.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: You don't want my wooden.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: You don't want my wooden done.
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: We gotta go the Steve Harvey Morning show coming up
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: right after that, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Moore Show.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: All right, So Steve, here's a question for you, since
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: you're the CLO, the chief Love Officer. All right, how
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: long do you think it takes before couples, you know,
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: have the talk about how to label their relationship?
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: And I'm asking you that because a new study.
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: This is according to a new study, it says that
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: it takes on average six weeks to have what you know,
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: what we are talk and to label the relationship.
- 1:14:30Speaker 10: Well, you know when you have to talk about your
- 1:14:32Speaker 10: relationship and putting labels on where are we going?
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Where?
- 1:14:35Speaker 10: You know, what are we doing?
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: You know, what are we doing? I should have it
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: at a restaurant?
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: No no, no, no no, I said, you know, like
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: when when in the what time in the relationship should
- 1:14:46Speaker 4: we have it?
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: I think ninety days? Okay.
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: I think for a roman's sake, I think a woman
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: has to get a determination, get some type of idea
- 1:14:55Speaker 8: of where this is going, okay, and when.
- 1:14:58Speaker 10: She finds ou out just give it up because us
- 1:15:00Speaker 10: ninety days.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: Well, you know what, you don't have to do it.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: You said, that's a guy. They don't mean give it up.
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: But go ahead, Steve, what but.
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: Ninety days you should have an idea what is going?
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: You have every right to know and ask.
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: Man what is his head? Okay?
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: Another question, Steve, how should they bring it up? How
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: should you broach that subject?
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: I know the text messages, that's for sure.
- 1:15:26Speaker 11: You know.
- 1:15:27Speaker 8: If a woman is curious about what the relationship is,
- 1:15:30Speaker 8: she got to bring it up. If a man wants
- 1:15:32Speaker 8: to define it, he needs to bring it up.
- 1:15:34Speaker 10: And how should they do that? That was my original?
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Hey, where we're going?
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Just right out with it?
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: I said, where we're going?
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: What is all this?
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: What were doing?
- 1:15:43Speaker 18: In that tone?
- 1:15:44Speaker 10: No, but that's the man, because that can't be the woman. Well, Wollo,
- 1:15:53Speaker 10: you surely don't rush past that.
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: Wait, baby man, Yola, it could be I'm just asking
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to Steve, don't I think that.
- 1:16:01Speaker 18: I don't know for women sometimes they might feel it's
- 1:16:04Speaker 18: kind of awkward or they don't know how to do
- 1:16:08Speaker 18: that to just come right out with it and say, Hey,
- 1:16:10Speaker 18: where we going with this question?
- 1:16:12Speaker 7: What are we?
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Yeah that you just saying come right on out with it?
- 1:16:16Speaker 8: Well, I mean you know you could try like round about.
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: So can I ask you a question? Yeah, my girlfriends
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: are starting to ask me what type of relationship is this?
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: What should I say?
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Okay, you know that's what should I be saying to people?
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: And let him give you a knot.
- 1:16:32Speaker 10: Yeah that's what i's now, that's what I wanted to know.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: Yeah, how that's what I figured you're missing.
- 1:16:38Speaker 10: But that's good, clo, that's good.
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: So wait like ninety days to even bring up the
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: talk and kind of ease into what you're saying.
- 1:16:46Speaker 10: Kind of ease into it.
- 1:16:48Speaker 8: Right ninety days, ladies, you have every right to be
- 1:16:51Speaker 8: able to say, okay, so what do we have? Especially
- 1:16:53Speaker 8: if ninety days you start passing out that cookie? There's
- 1:16:56Speaker 8: no reason for you to pass out to cookie and
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: not understand what it is. Okay, you know, if we
- 1:17:01Speaker 8: if we're a committed relationship, you should know that. I'd
- 1:17:04Speaker 8: want to know that before I passed out the cook
- 1:17:07Speaker 8: Yeah right? Is this a monogamous relationship? Are we committed?
- 1:17:11Speaker 18: Exclusive?
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: Are we exclusive?
- 1:17:12Speaker 7: What is it?
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: I need to know? Okay?
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: You know that makes sense, don't Oh?
- 1:17:18Speaker 10: Yes, yes, yes? And then you say when you want
- 1:17:20Speaker 10: to bring the subject up, you kind of ease into it.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: You know, just slide it to him.
- 1:17:25Speaker 8: You know what I mean, Hey, look, you know, we've
- 1:17:27Speaker 8: been dating for a while and my girlfriends and co
- 1:17:30Speaker 8: workers are starting to ask me what is this we have?
- 1:17:32Speaker 8: So I mean, how would you like for me to
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: address you or describe you what I'm talking to other people,
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: you know, kind of put it on them alts.
- 1:17:41Speaker 4: Yeah, what and what should the woman say if the
- 1:17:44Speaker 4: man asked her? Or will a man ask her that question?
- 1:17:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, of course the dudes that want
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: to know?
- 1:17:50Speaker 10: And what should the woman say?
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: You know? The truth? I mean, you know, God could say, hey,
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: maybe look, we've been at this for a little while.
- 1:17:57Speaker 8: Are we exclusive or no? And then if it's exclusive,
- 1:18:00Speaker 8: if you got to tell him yes, And if it's not,
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: then you just got to say, hey, no, it's not
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: really lose. I'm seeing some other people.
- 1:18:05Speaker 10: Okay, all right, exactly, Thank you, c l O.
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: We'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:18:16Speaker 4: Show right after this.

- 1:25:13Speaker 10: It's been a good day.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Huh good day.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: Yeah, yeahay, yeah, good day. And the only thing that
- 1:25:19Speaker 4: will make it better is you. Steve Harvey with some
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: closing remarks, what do you have for us today?
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: Well, you know, I kind of wanted to share something
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: with you all that I was doing my meditation. I
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: was reading this morning and it hit me because I've
- 1:25:37Speaker 8: often said, you know, after the show or something. I
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: was just you know, sometimes I just try to say
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: some positive people. And one time I was talking after
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: the show and I told people, I said, you know,
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: there's a scripture that quotes something to this effect that
- 1:25:53Speaker 8: God comes to give you life and give you life
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: more abundantly. And so I said, that's what began. The
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: process of me asking for my abundance was because of
- 1:26:04Speaker 8: this scripture. And I just don't think this is just
- 1:26:07Speaker 8: my walk with him, that as a Christian or a
- 1:26:10Speaker 8: believer or a person of faith, that you should have
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: to struggle through everything. You're going to have challenges. You're
- 1:26:19Speaker 8: going to have struggles, but in every aspect of your life,
- 1:26:22Speaker 8: I mean, come on, something has to change for you.
- 1:26:25Speaker 8: And so in this scripture was saying that he comes
- 1:26:28Speaker 8: to give you life and give you life more abundantly.
- 1:26:32Speaker 8: I always thought that the abundance that he was talking
- 1:26:36Speaker 8: about was material things, financial, blessings, you know, things of
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: that nature. But I've learned recently through my studies that
- 1:26:51Speaker 8: he comes to give you abundant life does not just
- 1:26:54Speaker 8: mean things. It means peace of mind, It means awareness
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: of all his goodness. It means not worrying about tomorrow
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: or having regrets about the past, which issues out a
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: lot of a lot of wasted energy. It means things
- 1:27:18Speaker 8: like that that he's present in your life, that you're
- 1:27:22Speaker 8: aware of all the good things, that your eyes are
- 1:27:25Speaker 8: open to all he's done for you. And the big
- 1:27:30Speaker 8: part of it is that he gives you your daily bread,
- 1:27:33Speaker 8: that today is a very very special day, and because
- 1:27:38Speaker 8: it's unlike any other day you've ever had, and He's
- 1:27:42Speaker 8: given you a new day. So when it comes to
- 1:27:45Speaker 8: talking about an abundant life, I had to stop thinking
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: that it was just talking about things or money and objects,
- 1:27:52Speaker 8: innate objects that really he's talking about an abundant life
- 1:27:57Speaker 8: through having a peace of mind, to having a realization
- 1:28:00Speaker 8: that you have a companion who is not only your friend,
- 1:28:04Speaker 8: but he's also your king, you know, your sovereign lord.
- 1:28:08Speaker 8: That's what he means by abundant life, that you come
- 1:28:12Speaker 8: to the realization that you're not alone in this matter.
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: You come to the understanding that you have a very
- 1:28:20Speaker 8: present help if you just invited me in, that can
- 1:28:23Speaker 8: help you deal, cope, handle, and understand anything that happens
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: in your life. That's what I came to the conclusion
- 1:28:33Speaker 8: that having a life and having life more abundantly stood for.
- 1:28:38Speaker 8: And once I came to this realization, it opened up
- 1:28:41Speaker 8: a whole nother way of thinking for me, because it's
- 1:28:45Speaker 8: just an amazing thing when you understand that you can
- 1:28:49Speaker 8: have a say so in today and all you have
- 1:28:52Speaker 8: to do is worry about today. I mean, concern yourself
- 1:28:55Speaker 8: with today's matters and don't worry about tomorrow, and don't
- 1:29:00Speaker 8: show no regrets for the past, and you can have
- 1:29:03Speaker 8: a life of abundance because you will now be living
- 1:29:05Speaker 8: in the moment, in the presence, and you'll have His
- 1:29:09Speaker 8: presence because you invited it me in even closer. That's
- 1:29:12Speaker 8: what I learned about the abundant life, that it doesn't
- 1:29:16Speaker 8: just mean monetary or physical things, that it actually means
- 1:29:21Speaker 8: peace of mind, presence, a very present help in the
- 1:29:26Speaker 8: time of trouble, a relationship, someone who gets it, who's
- 1:29:31Speaker 8: always there. That's what that means. And that's what I
- 1:29:34Speaker 8: wanted you all to think about today. So when you
- 1:29:37Speaker 8: ask God to give you life, and he promised to
- 1:29:40Speaker 8: give you life and give it to you more abundantly,
- 1:29:42Speaker 8: think about what the whole abundant thing is really about.
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: I wasted a lot of time thinking it was just
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: a reference to finances or money or you.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: Know, it's not. It's so much more.
- 1:29:57Speaker 8: And today I had an abundant life because today I
- 1:30:01Speaker 8: didn't worry about tomorrow and today, because that's burdening yourself
- 1:30:06Speaker 8: with something you can't do nothing about. And I didn't
- 1:30:08Speaker 8: wear a half on, no regrets for my former life, Tada.
- 1:30:13Speaker 8: I had an abundant day today, and it caused me
- 1:30:17Speaker 8: to realize, really, man, you bless you got an abundant life.
- 1:30:21Speaker 8: That's what I wanted to share with you. Those my
- 1:30:22Speaker 8: clothing remarks today, Wow, I got a little time on
- 1:30:26Speaker 8: the back end. But that's what I realized. I just
- 1:30:27Speaker 8: wanted to share that with you.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Thank you for that.
- 1:30:29Speaker 10: Yeah, great, because when you do. When I first heard it,
- 1:30:33Speaker 10: I thought the same thing. What you're you know?
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: Me too, I really did.
- 1:30:38Speaker 8: I was convinced that what it was. But I was
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: doing my meditation this morning and I was reading this
- 1:30:43Speaker 8: section that explains a lot of stuff, and I said,
- 1:30:46Speaker 8: wait a minute, minute, No, the abundant life is he
- 1:30:50Speaker 8: gives you peace of mind for today. He gives you
- 1:30:53Speaker 8: awareness of His presence for today, and therefore it gives
- 1:30:58Speaker 8: you a total and then it call you to be
- 1:31:00Speaker 8: grateful for what you have today, and it opens up
- 1:31:03Speaker 8: your eyes to everything that's happening in your world right now.
- 1:31:07Speaker 8: Because by worrying, Uh, I watched this Shirley Luke twelve
- 1:31:12Speaker 8: and twenty five. What by worrying Luke twelve and twenty five,
- 1:31:18Speaker 8: By worrying, you cannot add one hour to you.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: So by not being able to do that, Yes.
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: Sorry, all right, it's going to be with Kanye.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: Go ahead.
