- 0:01Speaker 1: It is a scene out of a movie.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Five wildfires are raging across LA and at least two
- 0:07Speaker 2: have died. And the question now is could this be
- 0:10Speaker 2: a product of incompetency in government and DEI reforms putting
- 0:16Speaker 2: people's lives in danger and now an entire city is burning.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Well, here's what we do know. The mayor is Mia.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Karen bass is in Africa as her city burns, and
- 0:27Speaker 2: Gavin Newsom has still not called in the National Guard,
- 0:30Speaker 2: something he did do for COVID vaccine mandates. We also
- 0:35Speaker 2: have found out that they cut the fire budget by
- 0:38Speaker 2: nearly twenty million dollars. Donald Trump also putting out a
- 0:44Speaker 2: tweet on this, saying this Governor Gavin Newsom refused to
- 0:48Speaker 2: sign the water Restoration Declaration put before him that would
- 0:52Speaker 2: have allowed millions of gallons of water from Exos rain
- 0:56Speaker 2: and snow melt from the north to float daily into
- 0:59Speaker 2: many parts of California, including the areas that are currently
- 1:02Speaker 2: burning in a virtually apocalyptic way. He wanted to protect
- 1:06Speaker 2: an essentially worthless fish called a smelt by giving it
- 1:10Speaker 2: less water. It didn't work, but didn't care about the
- 1:14Speaker 2: people of California.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Now the ultimate price is being paid.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean
- 1:23Speaker 2: fresh water to flow into California. He is to blame
- 1:27Speaker 2: for this. On top of all of it, no water
- 1:30Speaker 2: for the fire hydrants. This comes back to the second
- 1:33Speaker 2: part of the story, and that is how is there
- 1:36Speaker 2: no water coming out of the fire hydrants? Well, maybe
- 1:39Speaker 2: we could go back in time and look at Los
- 1:42Speaker 2: Angeles appointing their quote very first female LGBTQ plus fire
- 1:49Speaker 2: chief with a goal, not a fighting fires and protecting
- 1:52Speaker 2: people and property. No, no, no, The number one goal
- 1:56Speaker 2: was to recruit more women and gay fires.
- 2:01Speaker 1: I am super inspired. Now.
- 2:03Speaker 3: She took time out of her already busy schedule to
- 2:05Speaker 3: tell us about her vision for the department's future, one
- 2:08Speaker 3: that includes a three year strategic plan to increase diversity.
- 2:12Speaker 1: People ask me, well, what number are you looking for us?
- 2:14Speaker 1: So I'm not looking for a number is never enough.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Out of thirty three hundred city firefighters, only one hundred
- 2:20Speaker 3: and fifteen are women. Right now, she's already looking at
- 2:23Speaker 3: ways to change that. She's quick to point out that
- 2:25Speaker 3: doing so has a greater purpose attracting the best and
- 2:28Speaker 3: brightest for the job.
- 2:30Speaker 4: They feel included. They feel valued and they feel part of.
- 2:33Speaker 1: A cohesive team.
- 2:34Speaker 3: But Chief also checks another box when it comes to
- 2:37Speaker 3: inclusivity and diversity and this department, she's a proud member
- 2:41Speaker 3: of the LGBTQ community.
- 2:43Speaker 1: That just kind of opens the door of people that thought, oh,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I didn't even know that that was an opportunity.
- 2:48Speaker 2: For me, that reporting coming from NBC for LA. Now
- 2:53Speaker 2: let's get to the fire hydrant issue of no water
- 2:55Speaker 2: coming out of those fire hydrants that Donald Trump mentioned
- 2:58Speaker 2: in his tweet. Well, now on Fox eleven NBC, they're
- 3:02Speaker 2: saying it looks like a third world country.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 3:06Speaker 5: My heart goes out obviously that the people with their
- 3:08Speaker 5: homes and I'm watching the small businesses around us go
- 3:12Speaker 5: up in plains. You know, this is people's livelihoods. So
- 3:16Speaker 5: it's devastating. But what is most concerning to me is
- 3:22Speaker 5: our first responders, in our firefighters who are trying to
- 3:25Speaker 5: battle this. There's no water in the palatates, there's no
- 3:28Speaker 5: water coming out of the fire hiders. This is an
- 3:32Speaker 5: absolute mismanagement by the city, not the firefighter's fault, but
- 3:36Speaker 5: it's by the city. And I'm going to be very honest.
- 3:39Speaker 5: We've got a mayor that's out of the country, and
- 3:42Speaker 5: we've got a city that's burning and there's no resources
- 3:45Speaker 5: to put out fires. So if you look at your pictures,
- 3:48Speaker 5: you don't see the firefighters there because there's nothing they
- 3:51Speaker 5: can do. And it looks like we're in a third
- 3:54Speaker 5: world country here, and we've got a lot of tough
- 3:58Speaker 5: questions we need to ask the mayor and the city
- 4:02Speaker 5: council and our representatives and the county representatives. Why didn't
- 4:07Speaker 5: you work to mitigate this? What was your brush mitigation program?
- 4:12Speaker 5: I heard you earlier talking about it's been dry because
- 4:14Speaker 5: there hasn't been rained. That's not the biggest problem here.
- 4:18Speaker 5: The brush up in these hills that are controlled by
- 4:21Speaker 5: the city and the county. I would beg you that
- 4:24Speaker 5: if they haven't been handled, mitigated, pruned, removed for probably
- 4:32Speaker 5: thirty or forty years, this was a disaster waiting to happen.
- 4:37Speaker 5: And what's predictable is preventable, And who's paying the price
- 4:42Speaker 5: or all of these people in their homes and their
- 4:44Speaker 5: businesses tonight?
- 4:46Speaker 2: You look at that reporting, this is a third world country.
- 4:49Speaker 2: So what are the takeaways? Number One in competency a
- 4:53Speaker 2: mayor that is out of the country in Africa as
- 4:56Speaker 2: this is happening. And number two, putting diversity, equity and
- 5:00Speaker 2: inclusion ahead of actually hiring the best people in a
- 5:03Speaker 2: three year plan. That is what the fire chief said
- 5:06Speaker 2: in the interview. Finally, it's also about follow the money.
- 5:10Speaker 2: The Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass cut the fire budget
- 5:13Speaker 2: we are now being told by twenty million dollars for
- 5:18Speaker 2: fire service for the current fiscal year and proposed.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Even higher cuts than that.
- 5:24Speaker 2: As The West Side Current reported back in April of
- 5:27Speaker 2: twenty twenty four, the mayor proposed a twenty three million
- 5:30Speaker 2: dollar cut in the fire department significantly, they said. The proposal,
- 5:34Speaker 2: described by Bass as a quote reset, included sixty five
- 5:38Speaker 2: million in cuts to our signature inside Safe Homelessness program
- 5:42Speaker 2: and increase of more than one hundred and thirty eight
- 5:44Speaker 2: million for the Los Angeles Police Department is well crime
- 5:48Speaker 2: has gone out of control, and then a cut of
- 5:50Speaker 2: about twenty three million for the LA Fire Department. So
- 5:54Speaker 2: this is what you get America when you decide to
- 5:57Speaker 2: put diversity, equity inclusion ahead.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Of actually doing your job.
- 6:01Speaker 2: And now the people are dying and the homes and
- 6:04Speaker 2: businesses are being destroyed in La I want you to
- 6:07Speaker 2: take a listen to Jonathan Hunted Fox News Channel as
- 6:10Speaker 2: he is in Pacific Palisades talking about just how bad
- 6:13Speaker 2: things are there. There is an entire condo or apartment
- 6:17Speaker 2: building behind him that is being burned to the ground.
- 6:19Speaker 2: As he is doing this report, he is wearing a
- 6:22Speaker 2: mask because the smoke is so bad. He has goggles
- 6:25Speaker 2: for his eyes because the smoke is so bad.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Take a listen.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Ongoing destruction of an entire neighborhood. As you look behind
- 6:33Speaker 4: me here the house directly in front of us was
- 6:36Speaker 4: a two story house just about an hour ago, as
- 6:39Speaker 4: you can see now reduced to nothing but rubble. And
- 6:43Speaker 4: if you look to the left is Brian Pan's left.
- 6:46Speaker 4: That is the next home down the street, a multimillion
- 6:50Speaker 4: dollar home, a huge home that one now completely ablaze.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Not a fire truck in site. Firefight to simply don't
- 6:57Speaker 4: have the resources right now to conte and you fighting
- 7:01Speaker 4: every one of these fires, saving every one of these properties.
- 7:04Speaker 4: It is a question of saving lives. And I want
- 7:07Speaker 4: to give you a sense of how this has gone
- 7:09Speaker 4: all day. We arrived here hours ago, these two.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Homes were on fire.
- 7:14Speaker 4: Then we watched as the front of these collapsed into
- 7:18Speaker 4: their front yards, and then the flames spread to the
- 7:21Speaker 4: ones we were just showing you further to the left.
- 7:25Speaker 4: It's quite an apocalyptic scene. And as you look over
- 7:28Speaker 4: as Brian spins up into the sky, you can see
- 7:31Speaker 4: the sun trying to rise there in La at what
- 7:34Speaker 4: is now nine in the morning, just obscured by those
- 7:38Speaker 4: intense clouds. We're seeing more walls collapse as we speak
- 7:41Speaker 4: here on this particular building. But this has been going
- 7:44Speaker 4: on now for close to twenty four hours, and it
- 7:47Speaker 4: has been an absolutely terrifying scene for so many families.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Some in the Pacific Palisades Highlands area where my daughter
- 7:56Speaker 4: who goes to school here by the.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Way, has friends there.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Family were trying to get out on what is basically
- 8:02Speaker 4: a one way in, one way out neighborhood. They were
- 8:05Speaker 4: told by firefighters, too many people are in the street,
- 8:08Speaker 4: a lot of people that abandoned their cars. The entire
- 8:11Speaker 4: street was blocked.
- 8:12Speaker 1: So they were told go back to your homes.
- 8:14Speaker 4: We will do our best to protect your homes from
- 8:17Speaker 4: the flames that are coming towards you, but we have
- 8:19Speaker 4: nowhere safer for you to go. So they were hunkered
- 8:22Speaker 4: down in the home, flames literally at their front door,
- 8:26Speaker 4: waiting for firefighters, who thankfully were able to eventually save them.
- 8:30Speaker 4: But you can imagine how terrifying this scene is. And
- 8:34Speaker 4: I think what is remarkable about this fire, having seen
- 8:37Speaker 4: so many over so many years here in southern California,
- 8:40Speaker 4: is we often travel thirty forty to fifty miles outside
- 8:43Speaker 4: of La Proper to the two areas where these fires
- 8:46Speaker 4: break out. This is in the heart of the city.
- 8:49Speaker 4: This is Pacific palis Age, a really densely packed residential neighborhood.
- 8:54Speaker 4: So these flames have just spread so quickly, dropping down
- 8:58Speaker 4: onto the trees, embers flying from the trees, flying onto
- 9:02Speaker 4: the roofs of homes, one home after another. As we
- 9:05Speaker 4: just showed you, it's like a domino effect. They just
- 9:07Speaker 4: keep going up in flames, up in flames, up in flames.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Up in flames, up in flames, up in flames. To
- 9:13Speaker 2: put in perspective for you, we spent our scent more
- 9:17Speaker 2: than two hundred and fifty billion of our tax hours
- 9:20Speaker 2: to Ukraine, and yet we can't even get water to
- 9:24Speaker 2: fight the fires in California. California has spent billions on
- 9:29Speaker 2: the dumbest ideas ever high speed rail literally to nowhere,
- 9:33Speaker 2: equity programs which we mentioned, homeless high rises, yes, they've
- 9:38Speaker 2: built high rises for homeless people, and every LGBTQ pet
- 9:43Speaker 2: project you could imagine. But when it's time for the
- 9:46Speaker 2: government to do basic things, they can't do it. This
- 9:50Speaker 2: is the breakdown of the social contract in LA with
- 9:54Speaker 2: the people of LA. And these are the consequences for
- 9:57Speaker 2: voting for these woke liberal life leaders.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump making liberals'.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Heads explode with some simple but big ideas, one buying
- 10:07Speaker 2: Greenland and offering statehood to Canada the nation, and also
- 10:13Speaker 2: really taking the task the Panama Canal and how they
- 10:16Speaker 2: are screwing American ships each and every time we go
- 10:20Speaker 2: through that canal.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So let's start with that.
- 10:23Speaker 2: What did Donald Trump actually say, Well, here are his
- 10:26Speaker 2: thoughts on the Panama Canal and what changes he is demanding.
- 10:31Speaker 6: The deal was that you don't have to treat us fairly.
- 10:34Speaker 6: They don't treat us fairly. They charge war for our ships,
- 10:36Speaker 6: and they charged for ships of other countries. They charge
- 10:39Speaker 6: more for our navy than they charged for navies of
- 10:42Speaker 6: other countries. They laugh at us because they think we're stupid,
- 10:46Speaker 6: But we're not stupid. Anymore. So. The Panama Canal is
- 10:50Speaker 6: under discussion with them right now. They violated every aspect
- 10:54Speaker 6: of the agreement, and it's they morally violated it also,
- 11:00Speaker 6: and they want our help because it's leaking and not
- 11:04Speaker 6: in good repair, and they want us to give three
- 11:07Speaker 6: billion dollars to help fix it. I said, well, why
- 11:10Speaker 6: don't you get the money from China, because China's basically
- 11:13Speaker 6: taking it over. China's at both ends of the Panama Canal.
- 11:16Speaker 7: China's running the Panama Canal.
- 11:19Speaker 1: China's running the Panama Canal.
- 11:21Speaker 2: And the fact that we are paying more than other
- 11:23Speaker 2: ships to go through the Panama Canal and then them
- 11:26Speaker 2: demanding millions of dollars to fix it is exactly why
- 11:29Speaker 2: Donald Trump is standing up saying, you're not taking advantage
- 11:32Speaker 2: of us anymore. Now, this also goes back to what
- 11:35Speaker 2: he was saying about Canada. Let's be clear, I do
- 11:38Speaker 2: not believe that Canada is going to become part of America.
- 11:42Speaker 2: I actually think it's epic trolling by Donald Trump making
- 11:45Speaker 2: a point. You guys elected hardcore lefties like Trudeau, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: they have destroyed your country with extremely high taxes, and
- 11:53Speaker 2: they're not looking out for your best interests. Now, the
- 11:56Speaker 2: takeaway on the Canada story is pretty simple. When it
- 11:59Speaker 2: comes to Canada, the people there are now standing up
- 12:02Speaker 2: for themselves again. This all started because of the truckers
- 12:06Speaker 2: that stood up for themselves back when they had the
- 12:09Speaker 2: COVID mandates. And that is when Trudeau clearly lost his country.
- 12:13Speaker 2: And that brings us back to what's happening in Greenland. Greenland, Well,
- 12:17Speaker 2: the people there, they're dissatisfied, they're not happy, and they've
- 12:21Speaker 2: had enough of what is going on in their country.
- 12:24Speaker 2: And that is why Donald Trump saying, hey, if you
- 12:26Speaker 2: want to come and be a part of what we've got,
- 12:29Speaker 2: we're more than happy to buy you. Now, there's also
- 12:32Speaker 2: the other aspect of the story the media doesn't want
- 12:34Speaker 2: you to know, and that is that Greenland is actually
- 12:36Speaker 2: a pretty small country with not a lot of people
- 12:38Speaker 2: that live there, and there's also a major problem with
- 12:41Speaker 2: how Denmark is treating them. That is exactly what Donald
- 12:44Speaker 2: Trump said is he also talked about if we get Greenland,
- 12:48Speaker 2: it is important for our national security as well.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Take a listen, well, we need Greenland for national security purposes.
- 12:56Speaker 7: I've been told that for a long time, long before
- 12:59Speaker 7: I even ran I mean, people have been talking about
- 13:01Speaker 7: it for a long time. You have approximately forty five
- 13:04Speaker 7: thousand people there. People really don't even know if Denmark
- 13:08Speaker 7: has an illegal right to it, but if they do,
- 13:11Speaker 7: they should give it up because we needed for national security.
- 13:14Speaker 7: That's for the free world. I'm talking about protecting the
- 13:17Speaker 7: free world. You look at you don't even need binoculars.
- 13:21Speaker 7: You look outside. You have China ships all over the place.
- 13:25Speaker 7: You have Russian ships all over the place. We're not
- 13:28Speaker 7: letting that happen. We're not letting it happen.
- 13:32Speaker 6: And if Denmark wants to get to a conclusion, but
- 13:36Speaker 6: nobody knows if they even have any right, title or interest,
- 13:39Speaker 6: the people are going to probably vote for independence or
- 13:41Speaker 6: to come into the United States. But if they did
- 13:44Speaker 6: do that, then I would tear if Denmark at a
- 13:47Speaker 6: very high level.
- 13:49Speaker 2: There's a couple of different things here that are interesting
- 13:51Speaker 2: about what Donald Trump said, and after you listen to it,
- 13:54Speaker 2: you actually understand that this is not a crazy idea
- 13:58Speaker 2: at all.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's an idea that makes a lot.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Of sense for the people in Greenland and the way
- 14:03Speaker 2: they're being taken advantage of by Denmark right now, and
- 14:06Speaker 2: the dissatisfaction by the people in Greenland. And this is
- 14:11Speaker 2: actually not a crazy idea that he just randomly thought up,
- 14:15Speaker 2: which is how the media is trying to play this.
- 14:17Speaker 2: How do we know that, because apparently this is a
- 14:19Speaker 2: conversation that came up in Trump's first term in a
- 14:23Speaker 2: very real way they were talking about behind the scenes.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Larry Kudlow, who was in the Trump administration from sixteen
- 14:31Speaker 2: to twenty, said this on Fox Business Channel about what
- 14:35Speaker 2: the President is now proposing and how there is history
- 14:38Speaker 2: behind this idea.
- 14:39Speaker 8: You know, I never thought in my life I talk
- 14:42Speaker 8: with you about acquiring Greenland. But this is how Trump
- 14:48Speaker 8: changes the conversation. And it's kind of this Monroe doctrine.
- 14:51Speaker 9: Two point zero things tell us where by the way,
- 14:54Speaker 9: the Greenland conversation is not entirely not new popped up
- 14:58Speaker 9: in the.
- 14:58Speaker 8: First now I know it is there, but talked about this.
- 15:00Speaker 9: I was a big supporter of buying Greenland. We just
- 15:03Speaker 9: the clock ran out. President loved the idea. But more
- 15:07Speaker 9: to the point, what he's doing is defining core interests
- 15:12Speaker 9: of the United States, core national security interests. Greenland is
- 15:17Speaker 9: a very important place, not just it does have a
- 15:20Speaker 9: lot of rare earth minerals. Yes, but China nos and
- 15:24Speaker 9: around Greenland, Russia nos and around Greenland. You know, we
- 15:29Speaker 9: have a big air force base there. But the Arctic
- 15:32Speaker 9: Battle is a strategic battle, and that's why Greenland plays
- 15:36Speaker 9: such an important role. And it's interesting that so many
- 15:40Speaker 9: I mean, it's only about forty fifty sixty thousand maybe
- 15:44Speaker 9: people who live there, but they'd like their own independence.
- 15:47Speaker 9: And you don't have to buy it. You can make
- 15:50Speaker 9: a strategic alliance for trade and investment and so those
- 15:54Speaker 9: kind of things.
- 15:54Speaker 1: So you have a base and economics. I mean, it
- 15:57Speaker 1: seems like a no brainer.
- 15:58Speaker 9: I think so. And you know what mister Trump is
- 16:01Speaker 9: doing is he's running it down. Look now we're talking
- 16:04Speaker 9: about the Western hemisphere and the Monroe Doctrine, which was
- 16:08Speaker 9: done two hundred years ago. John Quincy Adams codified what
- 16:12Speaker 9: was then called the Monroe Doctrine, codified it into a law.
- 16:16Speaker 1: You have you.
- 16:17Speaker 9: Cannot let China run both ends of the Panama Canal.
- 16:21Speaker 2: You cannot let China run both ends of the Panama Canal.
- 16:25Speaker 2: This is actually about national security as well. When he
- 16:29Speaker 2: talks about that and Greenland, like notice, this is an
- 16:32Speaker 2: America First policy. Now Democrats have come out they're saying,
- 16:35Speaker 2: there's no chance in hell this is going to happen.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Let me let you hear what Anthony Lincoln said. Now,
- 16:39Speaker 2: this is a guy that's going to go out as
- 16:41Speaker 2: a disaster. This is a guy that has that is
- 16:45Speaker 2: leaving in disgrace. This is a guy that it was
- 16:48Speaker 2: involved in every major foreign policy disaster, including the pulling
- 16:52Speaker 2: out of Afghanistan, what we're now witnessing with Russia Ukraine.
- 16:57Speaker 2: And he's going to sit there like a cop professor
- 17:00Speaker 2: and be like, oh, I know better than everybody else,
- 17:03Speaker 2: and this is never going to happen.
- 17:04Speaker 10: Listen, the idea expressed about Greenland is obviously not a
- 17:09Speaker 10: good one, but maybe more important, it's obviously one that's
- 17:12Speaker 10: not going to happen, So we probably shouldn't waste a
- 17:15Speaker 10: lot of time talking about it.
- 17:17Speaker 2: You want to know why I think there's a chance
- 17:18Speaker 2: this could actually happen, it's because of these arrogant sobs
- 17:21Speaker 2: and exactly what that what was said there.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Representative Jeffreys, by the way.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Speaking on behalf of the Democratic Party, saying, the House
- 17:28Speaker 2: Dems believe that we're not sent to Washington as he
- 17:31Speaker 2: now is describing it to invade Greenland. By the way,
- 17:34Speaker 2: Donald Trump didn't say anything about invading Greenland. He actually
- 17:37Speaker 2: said by it. He didn't say invade, he said by it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: He also then said that we would seize the Panama
- 17:44Speaker 2: Canal by force, something that Donald Trump has also not said.
- 17:48Speaker 2: These are the lying liars of Washington d C. Making
- 17:52Speaker 2: up things. Listen carefully to the words he uses, implying
- 17:55Speaker 2: that Donald Trump's going to get us into two different wars.
- 17:58Speaker 8: What kind of dialogue have you had with the incoming administration,
- 18:01Speaker 8: the incoming president, especially given that he'll be on the
- 18:04Speaker 8: hill leader today.
- 18:06Speaker 11: It's not my expectation to have any conversation at any
- 18:09Speaker 11: point today. But we are looking forward to the dialogue
- 18:15Speaker 11: to come in the next few weeks and thereafter to
- 18:19Speaker 11: find the common ground necessary in order to get things
- 18:22Speaker 11: done for the American people. House Democrats believe that we
- 18:28Speaker 11: are not sent to Washington to invade Greenland, rename the
- 18:35Speaker 11: Gulf of Mexico, or seize the Panama Canal by force.
- 18:40Speaker 11: We were sent to Washington to lower the high cost
- 18:45Speaker 11: of living in the United States of America.
- 18:48Speaker 2: By the way, which he failed to do. If he's
- 18:49Speaker 2: claiming that's what it was. Well, didn't they already do that?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Wasn't the Inflationial Reduction Act supposed to fix that? Had
- 18:55Speaker 2: Kim jeffries, you don't know why you're the minority leader
- 18:58Speaker 2: and not the majority, the speaker of the else. It's
- 19:00Speaker 2: because you guys failed. But I go back to what
- 19:03Speaker 2: was said there. Donald Trump never said we're gonna go
- 19:06Speaker 2: take the Panama Canal by force and we're gonna invade Greenland.
- 19:09Speaker 2: That is just a lie. And if the media didn't
- 19:12Speaker 2: suck at their job, they would have immediately interrupted him
- 19:15Speaker 2: and said, well, Speaker, that's not what he said.
- 19:17Speaker 1: That's not what he said at all. That's not what
- 19:19Speaker 1: he proposed, that's not what was said on any of this.
- 19:22Speaker 2: But they let him put out the propaganda and the
- 19:25Speaker 2: lies and get ready because they're never gonna stop when
- 19:28Speaker 2: Trump is in office. All right, Finally, I want to
- 19:32Speaker 2: get to something else that is on my list that
- 19:35Speaker 2: the media is not covering, and it's a big news story.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Joe Biden has now confirmed very quietly because they're hoping
- 19:43Speaker 2: you guys aren't paying attention, that he is willing and
- 19:47Speaker 2: weighing two different pardons, preemptive pardons, for two people that
- 19:52Speaker 2: have not been charged with any crimes. If that doesn't
- 19:55Speaker 2: sound shady as hell, I don't know what is shady.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Joe Biden saying Liz Cheney and doctor Anthony Fauci may
- 20:04Speaker 2: need those preemptive pardons. President Joe Biden's agreeing to the
- 20:10Speaker 2: idea in an interview that he gave with the USA
- 20:12Speaker 2: Today's Susan Page. Receiving a preemptive pardon would indicate an
- 20:17Speaker 2: admission of guilt, although some Democrats claim a preemptive pardon
- 20:21Speaker 2: would only be intended to block President elect Donald Trump
- 20:24Speaker 2: from quote cleaning up Washington d C. In the interview,
- 20:30Speaker 2: Biden said preemptive pardons are on.
- 20:33Speaker 1: The table for his allies.
- 20:36Speaker 2: That would obviously include the Biden crime family members and.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Their business associates.
- 20:42Speaker 2: That may be the reason why he's willing to give
- 20:44Speaker 2: a pardon to Cheney and Fauci, because that, in theory,
- 20:47Speaker 2: could become the story. Biden said he is quote considering
- 20:51Speaker 2: preemptive pardons for public figures such as and he said,
- 20:56Speaker 2: Republican Congresswoman Liz Chaneing and When Biden met with Trump
- 21:01Speaker 2: in the Oval Office a week after the November elections,
- 21:03Speaker 2: he urged the President elect not to go forward with
- 21:06Speaker 2: the threats to target those, he said in the interview
- 21:09Speaker 2: who have criticized him in Cheney's case, helped lead efforts
- 21:12Speaker 2: to actually impeach him.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Quote.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I tried to make clear that there was no need
- 21:18Speaker 2: and it is counterintuitive for his interest to go back
- 21:22Speaker 2: in try to settle scores. Biden said, he's the same
- 21:24Speaker 2: guy that's in charge of a party that tried to
- 21:27Speaker 2: imprison Donald Trump, tried to take him out, take all
- 21:32Speaker 2: of his money. In fact, it's the same guy that's
- 21:35Speaker 2: having other Supreme Court right now because Democrat activists under
- 21:38Speaker 2: Joe Biden have been coming after him in other cases.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I'll explain that in a moment. But Biden said after
- 21:45Speaker 2: he said, you know, I'm trying to tell this guy
- 21:47Speaker 2: to be mature and don't try to settle scores. How
- 21:50Speaker 2: did Trump respond? Ysayday asked him. Biden's response, he didn't say, no,
- 21:55Speaker 2: I'm not going to you know, he didn't reinforce it.
- 21:58Speaker 1: He just basically listened.
- 22:00Speaker 2: White House lawyers quote are studying preemptive pardons, which Biden
- 22:03Speaker 2: discussed with senior aides, According to multiple establishment media reports,
- 22:08Speaker 2: Democrat and Media allies are urging Biden publicly in the
- 22:12Speaker 2: last several weeks to pardon many of his comrades, including
- 22:16Speaker 2: mart Milly, Christopher Ray, that'd be the FBI director, Justice
- 22:20Speaker 2: Department lawyers, Joe Biden himself, the whole Biden family, Liz Cheney,
- 22:26Speaker 2: Representative Nancy Pelosi, and Adam Kinzinger quote unquote, among others.
- 22:31Speaker 2: In other words, if you were doing things that were
- 22:33Speaker 2: against the law in the name of the communist socialist
- 22:36Speaker 2: Marxist Democratic Party, then you deserve to get a get
- 22:40Speaker 2: out of jail free card preemptively.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Quote. Biden can give them a pardon if he wants to.
- 22:46Speaker 2: That is what Trump told NBC News Kristen Welker in
- 22:49Speaker 2: an interview, And maybe he should, He went on to say, why,
- 22:52Speaker 2: because well, he knows that they've been up to no good. Now,
- 22:56Speaker 2: this is all happening as Donald Trump is now being
- 22:59Speaker 2: forced to ask us the Supreme Court of the United
- 23:01Speaker 2: States of America, to block his sentencing in the hush
- 23:05Speaker 2: money case. This has clearly gotten completely and utterly out
- 23:09Speaker 2: of control. President elect Trump on Wednesday officially asked the
- 23:13Speaker 2: Supreme Court to pause his sentencing and the New York
- 23:16Speaker 2: hush money case. Trump sentencing is scheduled for Friday morning.
- 23:20Speaker 2: He says it clearly violates the president elects presidential immunity,
- 23:24Speaker 2: as outlined in a Supreme Court decision in July that,
- 23:27Speaker 2: according to Trump's legal team, allowing the sentencing to move
- 23:31Speaker 2: forward would be a quote grave injustice and harm to
- 23:35Speaker 2: the institution of the presidency and the operations of the
- 23:40Speaker 2: federal government is what Trump's lawyers have officially written. President
- 23:45Speaker 2: Trump's legal team filed the emergency petition with the United
- 23:48Speaker 2: States Supreme Court asking the court to correct the unjust
- 23:51Speaker 2: actions by New York courts and stop the unlawful sentencing
- 23:57Speaker 2: in the Manhattan DA's which hunt is so what Trump's
- 24:00Speaker 2: spokesman said, referring to the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Now,
- 24:05Speaker 2: the Supreme Court's historic decision on immunity, the constitution and
- 24:10Speaker 2: established legal president mandate that this meritless hoax be immediately dismissed,
- 24:17Speaker 2: is what they wrote in the filing. The legal filing
- 24:20Speaker 2: states that the hush money case and Trump's conviction on
- 24:24Speaker 2: these quote thirty four fellony accounts is on poor legal footing.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Part of the evidence used at trial to secure the
- 24:31Speaker 2: conviction was based on official acts of the president and
- 24:35Speaker 2: should have been shielded from the court case.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Altogether.
- 24:40Speaker 2: These include, without limitation, they said, statements issued through his
- 24:44Speaker 2: official presidential Twitter account to the American people in twenty eighteen,
- 24:49Speaker 2: statements to the press and official presidential media appearances, documentary
- 24:54Speaker 2: evidence reflecting the official presidential actions, and testimony of former
- 24:59Speaker 2: White House employees regarding the official actions taken by President
- 25:03Speaker 2: Trump during his first term as president. The filing states, now,
- 25:09Speaker 2: this is a major pushback from Donald Trump. The legal
- 25:12Speaker 2: team also argued that legal immunity for sitting presidents covers
- 25:18Speaker 2: the transition period between the election and when a president
- 25:21Speaker 2: assumes office. That's exactly why they've tried to rush this
- 25:25Speaker 2: up to Friday, because they're trying to nail him before
- 25:27Speaker 2: he actually takes the oath of office January the twentieth,
- 25:31Speaker 2: quote the doctorate of sitting president immunity shields Trump from
- 25:36Speaker 2: criminal process during the brief but crucial period of presidential
- 25:41Speaker 2: transition while he engages in the extraordinary, demanding task of
- 25:45Speaker 2: preparing to assume the executive power of the United States
- 25:48Speaker 2: of America. The filing also states, again they're going back
- 25:53Speaker 2: to this is unprecedented.
- 25:54Speaker 1: This is a witch hunt and everybody knows it now.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Supreme Court Justice Sauta my Orb ordered Alvin Bragg's office
- 26:02Speaker 2: to respond to the Trump team's filing by ten am
- 26:07Speaker 2: on Thursday. The Trump team made the emergency appeal to
- 26:10Speaker 2: the Supreme Court a day after the New York Appeals
- 26:13Speaker 2: Court rejected what is described as a similar petition now
- 26:17Speaker 2: an illegal filing to the appeals Court, Bragg's office argued
- 26:21Speaker 2: that Trump, as president elect quote, has no viable claim
- 26:25Speaker 2: a presidential immunity from the ordinary criminal process. Prosecutors for
- 26:31Speaker 2: Alvin Bragg's office went on to say that Trump is
- 26:35Speaker 2: not yet engaged in any official presidential functions that would
- 26:38Speaker 2: be disrupted by the sentencing. Now, the reality is, we
- 26:42Speaker 2: all know that when you're coming into office and you
- 26:44Speaker 2: are the president elect, the whole world changes the way
- 26:47Speaker 2: that they treat you, including by the way our Secret
- 26:49Speaker 2: Service they treat you with protections like you are the
- 26:53Speaker 2: president of the United States of America. Why do you
- 26:56Speaker 2: think all these world leaders are coming to meet with
- 26:57Speaker 2: him at mar Lago. Why do you think he's on
- 27:00Speaker 2: Capitol Hill today meeting with congressional leaders. Why do you
- 27:03Speaker 2: think the media is covering it because the idea that
- 27:05Speaker 2: he's somehow just a normal guy right now is absurd
- 27:09Speaker 2: and everyone knows that, and even our Secret Service admits
- 27:12Speaker 2: it by the way that they protect you after election day.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Now President of the United States, Trump also make it
- 27:20Speaker 2: clear with the Supreme Court that this is something that
- 27:23Speaker 2: is nothing more than harassment, and I couldn't agree with
- 27:25Speaker 2: him more. And then legal filing to the Appeals Court,
- 27:28Speaker 2: Brag's off as saying, well, Trump isn't really the president yet.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I don't think that's going to go very far. Now.
- 27:35Speaker 2: The other question, as Trump asked the Supreme Court to
- 27:38Speaker 2: block his sensing in a touch money case as this,
- 27:41Speaker 2: will this have political ramifications for the Democrats. They lost
- 27:46Speaker 2: an election, they lost it and everybody knows they lost it,
- 27:50Speaker 2: and now this looks like nothing more than straight up warfare.
- 27:53Speaker 2: I don't know if Alvin Bragg and the Democrats really care.
- 27:57Speaker 2: I think what they look at here is this is
- 27:59Speaker 2: an opportunity to get Trump off of this game. This
- 28:02Speaker 2: is an opportunity to make him look like a criminal
- 28:05Speaker 2: as he's taking office, to hurt him day one when
- 28:09Speaker 2: he goes into office. This is no different than what
- 28:11Speaker 2: they did in twenty sixteen with Russian collusion.
- 28:14Speaker 1: That is why I do believe that the.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Supreme Court is going to look at this, and the
- 28:20Speaker 2: Supreme Court is going to say, look, we got to
- 28:22Speaker 2: do something here like this is not the way that
- 28:26Speaker 2: any president of the United States of America should come
- 28:28Speaker 2: into office. This is not how the president units It's
- 28:32Speaker 2: America should be dealt with president elect. And we should
- 28:35Speaker 2: protect presidents because otherwise you're going to have weaponization of
- 28:39Speaker 2: the on a level we've never could have imagined. Imagine now,
- 28:43Speaker 2: if every single time a party loses, I'm talking about
- 28:46Speaker 2: the Republican Party of the Democratic Party, if in the
- 28:49Speaker 2: time between the day you lose the election November until
- 28:53Speaker 2: January twentieth, when you're sworn in, that you basically say,
- 28:57Speaker 2: all right, we're just going to go after all of
- 28:59Speaker 2: our political poem is a last minute attack on them
- 29:02Speaker 2: for what they have done to us.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I really do believe that this is a real.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Nervous moment for this country where the Supreme Court needs
- 29:17Speaker 2: to step in and the Supreme Court needs to make
- 29:20Speaker 2: it very clear that these actions are actions that should
- 29:24Speaker 2: not ever take place for anyone who is becoming president,
- 29:28Speaker 2: whether it's a Joe Biden, a Kamala Harris, a Donald Trump,
- 29:32Speaker 2: a Ronald Reagan, a Jimmy Carter, a Barack Obama.
- 29:35Speaker 1: It doesn't matter.
- 29:37Speaker 2: We do not harass the incoming president of the United
- 29:40Speaker 2: States of America with frivolous lawsuits that are meant only
- 29:44Speaker 2: to attack and to hurt. Make sure you share this
