- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks bus things and it's covering y'all to Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: listening together for Stu, I don't join me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: use that turn you. You gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Turn got to turn them out, turnin to turn the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water to the water. Got me. Come come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: baby now, h I sure will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only it is Steve Harvey. Yeah, I got
- 2:14Speaker 1: a radio show. Okay, this is timely for everybody. I'm
- 2:19Speaker 1: sure I want to offer you all or some encouragement
- 2:27Speaker 1: because everybody needed. Let me tell you something. You strike
- 2:35Speaker 1: out on your goals, you strike out on your aspirations,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and so you strike out, as it happens to all
- 2:43Speaker 1: of us. Here it comes life. Life just hits one
- 2:50Speaker 1: of them bad notes, as it always does, as it
- 2:55Speaker 1: always does for all of us, for everybody. Now, when
- 3:02Speaker 1: those bad notes happen, when the haters come out of nowhere,
- 3:06Speaker 1: when the setback comes up, when when the out of
- 3:10Speaker 1: nowhere appears, When I didn't see that coming comes. Here's
- 3:17Speaker 1: here's what you have to do. Here is the thing
- 3:20Speaker 1: that I have been teaching myself for years that I
- 3:26Speaker 1: used to not always understand, so I'm trying to give
- 3:29Speaker 1: it to you. You have to be encouraged anyway. Now
- 3:35Speaker 1: that's difficult, Okay, Steve, what you're talking about. You just
- 3:39Speaker 1: told me all this discouraging stuff that can happen, and
- 3:42Speaker 1: you said you got to be encouraged anyway. Yeah, man,
- 3:48Speaker 1: you have to because what's happening to you right now,
- 3:53Speaker 1: the thing that you're going through right now, the thing
- 3:56Speaker 1: that everybody's going through right now. Ain't nobody don't smooths selling. Man.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Everybody got something and if they, if they don't smooth sailing,
- 4:05Speaker 1: just notice is coming. There's nothing I'm wishing on anybody.
- 4:08Speaker 1: It's just that this is life. This is how it
- 4:11Speaker 1: happens everybody. So please stop stop getting on the old
- 4:15Speaker 1: woe is Me bandwagon? Old Lord? Why met old Lord?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Something always happened to me, something always happens to everybody.
- 4:25Speaker 1: But here's what you got to do. When you get
- 4:27Speaker 1: in moments like this, you got to be encouraged. You
- 4:31Speaker 1: got to remember in those times, in those times when
- 4:35Speaker 1: it's going wrong. You got to remember all that you've
- 4:39Speaker 1: been through. You got to remember all that you've come through.
- 4:47Speaker 1: You have to remember those other times when you felt
- 4:50Speaker 1: like this and somehow, unexplainably you don't even really stop
- 4:55Speaker 1: to say nothing about it. It just changed for you.
- 4:59Speaker 1: And the problem that walls is no more. And the
- 5:03Speaker 1: situation that seems so insurmountable, you got over it, You
- 5:09Speaker 1: got around it, you got over it. Sometimes you just
- 5:14Speaker 1: got to slide right under it. Sometimes you got to
- 5:19Speaker 1: plow through it. But in those times when it's discouraging
- 5:24Speaker 1: for you, when you feel like giving up, those are
- 5:29Speaker 1: the test. Those are the moments that will determine whether
- 5:36Speaker 1: we make it or not. I'll tell you one thing
- 5:39Speaker 1: for sure. If you give up in these moments, right
- 5:42Speaker 1: here here is a foreshow you'll never make it. That
- 5:46Speaker 1: that's unquestionably the deal. If you give up in these
- 5:52Speaker 1: dark times, if you give up in these what you
- 5:55Speaker 1: think is insurmountable moments, if you turn back now here
- 6:01Speaker 1: is the one thousand percent for shore. You ain't gonna
- 6:04Speaker 1: make it. But there's a bright side to this situation.
- 6:10Speaker 1: If you keep your head down, if you keep forging,
- 6:15Speaker 1: if you keep pressing on. Sometimes if you just stand
- 6:19Speaker 1: there and sometimes get knocked to your knees. But if
- 6:22Speaker 1: you stay in that place, if you just stay there
- 6:26Speaker 1: and ride the storm out, my head is bloodied but unbowed.
- 6:31Speaker 1: If you can just stay there, if you consider in
- 6:37Speaker 1: that moment and ride it out, you will win. You
- 6:45Speaker 1: will pass the test, and you will get to move
- 6:48Speaker 1: on to the next level. But there is no next
- 6:52Speaker 1: level without a test. You can't get to grade six
- 6:56Speaker 1: without passing grade five. You can't be your senior without
- 7:01Speaker 1: first being a junior. You can't graduate without fulfilling the
- 7:07Speaker 1: hours and requirements. You see, I don't care what you
- 7:10Speaker 1: do in life. Look at it. It's all set up
- 7:14Speaker 1: on levels. Or you've got to accomplish the thing before
- 7:18Speaker 1: in order to get to the next level. And when
- 7:20Speaker 1: you've made those level accomplishments, you get to graduate. Now
- 7:25Speaker 1: you can go on to get the masters in a PhD.
- 7:27Speaker 1: You can go on and become rich, you can go
- 7:29Speaker 1: become wealthy, or you can go or you can go
- 7:32Speaker 1: somewhere and think yourself in another set of circumstances. But
- 7:35Speaker 1: you got to go through something to get to something.
- 7:38Speaker 1: There ain't nothing free, So you can stop that notion
- 7:41Speaker 1: about being successful. That is easy. Come on, man, if
- 7:45Speaker 1: it was easy, what we are, what we're talking about,
- 7:49Speaker 1: It is not easy. Stop thinking it is. It is difficult.
- 7:55Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what's even more difficult than becoming successful.
- 7:59Speaker 1: You want to know what that is, Try not being
- 8:02Speaker 1: successful your whole life. That's hard. You are listening to
- 8:08Speaker 1: a person who has done them both been successful and
- 8:14Speaker 1: really really been not successful. And I got news for you.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Both of them hard. But I would rather deal with
- 8:22Speaker 1: what it is to be something, to make something out
- 8:25Speaker 1: of myself, to force myself to go to work when
- 8:28Speaker 1: I don't feel like it. This morning was a rough
- 8:30Speaker 1: get up for me, but I got up and I
- 8:33Speaker 1: said thank you anyway. Never give up. And I don't
- 8:37Speaker 1: watch this dude too. He even mess around and got
- 8:39Speaker 1: close to me because he just never gave up. You
- 8:42Speaker 1: can never ever give up. Never. It's not an option.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Giving up cannot be an option for you. You cannot
- 8:51Speaker 1: do that. It's out of the question. It's ain't conceivable
- 8:56Speaker 1: in your mind to quit, because to quit, it's to
- 8:59Speaker 1: watch what you get when you quit. Nothing. That is
- 9:04Speaker 1: a reward for those who hang in there, who never
- 9:08Speaker 1: give up, who forged through, who see it through? Who
- 9:11Speaker 1: get knocked down and get back up? Who gets trampled
- 9:14Speaker 1: but somehow gathers themselves and get back to your knees.
- 9:19Speaker 1: But stay in that place, man, don't ever give up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Don't let go be encouraged. Think of all you've been through,
- 9:25Speaker 1: Think of all you come through. Think of all He's
- 9:27Speaker 1: done for you. Think of all the times you thought
- 9:30Speaker 1: you wasn't gonna make it, but somehow, without you ever
- 9:32Speaker 1: even saying thank you, he got through. He got you
- 9:35Speaker 1: through it anyway. That's that thing called grace. Now we
- 9:38Speaker 1: kind of need that in our life. All I need
- 9:42Speaker 1: is a little more grace. You can't give God no
- 9:46Speaker 1: money for grace, man. Grace is absolutely free. It's available
- 9:49Speaker 1: to everybody. But you can't get none if you quit.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Don't give up. I'll just tell you that flat out.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Don't ever give up. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Here
- 10:02Speaker 1: we are the beginning of a new day. It's Tuesay y'all,
- 10:07Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. The countdown is in. We five
- 10:15Speaker 1: days from one of the greatest days of all time,
- 10:23Speaker 1: which is Easter Sunday. It is the recognition of those
- 10:28Speaker 1: who are of the Christian faith in the resurrection of
- 10:34Speaker 1: the one and owner, the Lord is Savior himself. Yes,
- 10:41Speaker 1: Son of God, save you to the world. That would
- 10:46Speaker 1: be the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The right after that.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Take your time now, dad, even after you have recognized
- 11:00Speaker 1: the man himself. It's going down at the verses Earth
- 11:06Speaker 1: winning five. Jesus first though, I gave it, Yes, she did.
- 11:14Speaker 1: After that, I'm with you, gave him he ye, Earth
- 11:18Speaker 1: winning five. And that day a rhunalized. Yeah, hosted by
- 11:26Speaker 1: none other thing. You know who's hosting it. Your damn boy,
- 11:33Speaker 1: boy boy, y'all gonna come get your boy. He gonna
- 11:38Speaker 1: be wild. I've been standing in the closet all morning,
- 11:42Speaker 1: what doing what with my hands on my hills, closed clothes,
- 11:49Speaker 1: just trying. No, I'm gonna have on close okaytta be
- 11:52Speaker 1: a whole nother first this morning, not on the show.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You're standing in the closet with your hands on your hips.
- 11:57Speaker 1: You have unclosed in new cloth. Oh no, I was
- 12:00Speaker 1: neked in the cloths. Yeah, because because I like to,
- 12:04Speaker 1: you know, I like to see what I'm gonna have on.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I go, I go strip button necking. Yeah. Yeah, for
- 12:13Speaker 1: the back Ron Osle and Verdean boy, they're gonna give
- 12:20Speaker 1: it to you. They're gonna tell him what Verdean gonna
- 12:22Speaker 1: have on you earlier. Probably gonna have on them damn
- 12:26Speaker 1: white boots with the shingles on them, tight ass pants
- 12:31Speaker 1: with the shingles on that note, swede white vest gonna
- 12:37Speaker 1: be dune or have done with a glitter shirt. Ron
- 12:40Speaker 1: gonna have on him. Ron's gonna have on so many sparkles.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Blanket is shiny shirt opened down to his navel. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: the spectators on fur Ron. Don't get a damn about Peter.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I can't be between the two legends, to be standing
- 13:03Speaker 1: there and looking like a news report. We do not
- 13:09Speaker 1: have a time. I'm truly arnold. Lord all asked Steve
- 13:16Speaker 1: Harvey will be hosting this show. What about a scoff though?
- 13:20Speaker 1: What about what like an a no he no, no
- 13:26Speaker 1: block mouth? All right, look, we'll be talking about this
- 13:31Speaker 1: all week. Okay, coming up now, though, as we twitch
- 13:34Speaker 1: gears thirty two minutes after the hour, the asked the
- 13:37Speaker 1: CLO segment Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building
- 13:41Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Time now for ask the clo. This one is from
- 13:50Speaker 1: Frieda and Jacksonville. I'm a twenty eight year old single woman,
- 13:54Speaker 1: Freda says, and a man that lives in my apartment
- 13:57Speaker 1: complex invited me to game night at his place. It
- 14:01Speaker 1: was just the two of us and we played Uno
- 14:03Speaker 1: and drank a lot of tequila. The rules were, whoever
- 14:07Speaker 1: loses has to take off, you know, a piece of clothes. Okay.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I lost two games and I ended up in my
- 14:16Speaker 1: panties and my bra. When it got late, he told
- 14:19Speaker 1: me to get dressed so he could walk me home.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Nothing happened, not even a kiss on the cheek. Was
- 14:25Speaker 1: he turned off by me? Or was he being a gentleman? Well,
- 14:29Speaker 1: let's talk about a couple of days. I don't know
- 14:44Speaker 1: who you naked and you're sitting up in bra and panties.
- 14:52Speaker 1: He made up the rules. Yeah, and when you took
- 14:56Speaker 1: all your clothes off, he said, all right, that's it
- 15:01Speaker 1: with everything on. Pretty nice see you some all the time. Well,
- 15:10Speaker 1: let me ask you something. When you poured your clothes
- 15:14Speaker 1: off with you completely comfortable, sounds like she was Steve.
- 15:20Speaker 1: She was real. Yeah, she said, I lost two games
- 15:23Speaker 1: and I ended up in my panties and broad Okay,
- 15:26Speaker 1: well she didn't say if he lost any games. So
- 15:31Speaker 1: let's just look at this. Let's take the road that
- 15:34Speaker 1: I think. It depends if you're twenty eight, it depends
- 15:38Speaker 1: on how old he is, If he over forty, it's
- 15:43Speaker 1: game he played you and you just gonna he just
- 15:48Speaker 1: gonna see where it would go. And he played it. Now,
- 15:51Speaker 1: next time come off there and you take them off,
- 15:54Speaker 1: I can't tell you. I can't promise you nothing after
- 15:56Speaker 1: that when you come back up in if I invite
- 15:59Speaker 1: you the game night again and the ass sure we
- 16:01Speaker 1: ain't got to play no cards this time? All seeing
- 16:05Speaker 1: one up that could be it. Well, she sounded like
- 16:09Speaker 1: she was disappointed. Nothing happened, not even a kiss on
- 16:12Speaker 1: the cheek. Well you know you just iudnt haven't seen you,
- 16:17Speaker 1: so only you can answer this question. But you could
- 16:20Speaker 1: send us what you saw yourself sitting. If you was
- 16:23Speaker 1: him and you saw you sitting over there in some
- 16:27Speaker 1: panics and no, bro, what would you do twenty eight
- 16:34Speaker 1: at twenty eight? This sounds like it was really naked
- 16:38Speaker 1: and afraid. It really do sound like when I was
- 16:41Speaker 1: twenty eight, I wouldn't give a damn what you look
- 16:44Speaker 1: like it would have been. I would have felt obligated
- 16:47Speaker 1: at this point. This looks like something I must do.
- 16:53Speaker 1: But who was she? Not fine at twenty eighth though?
- 16:57Speaker 1: What twenty eight? Twenty eight? Even ain't fine at Shirley?
- 17:02Speaker 1: When you graduated, you was about eighteen, as all, yeah, yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 1: when you were to your ten year reunion, did you
- 17:10Speaker 1: not go what the hell? Oh? Yeah? Hell? At ten years? Yes, yeah, yes, yeah,
- 17:21Speaker 1: Lloyd Freeman looking at miss Lloyd half full, teeth missing
- 17:31Speaker 1: in the front all the time. Just ten years later,
- 17:34Speaker 1: I'm going to down you ain't got no teeth for
- 17:37Speaker 1: the reunion. Let's move on. Lauren in the DMV says,
- 17:46Speaker 1: I'm in my mid thirties and I'm dating a fine
- 17:49Speaker 1: man I met at church. We're both in the choir,
- 17:52Speaker 1: and I had a crush on him for a while,
- 17:53Speaker 1: but then I heard he wasn't interested in females. Well,
- 17:57Speaker 1: he asked me out a few months ago, and now
- 17:59Speaker 1: we're dating. Other choir members give me the side eye
- 18:02Speaker 1: when they see us together, and it makes me unsure
- 18:04Speaker 1: about my man. We've had sex, so I know he's
- 18:07Speaker 1: into me, but how can I tell if he's got
- 18:09Speaker 1: other interests? Too. Well, Hell everybody else, I don't step you,
- 18:14Speaker 1: that's it. Yeah, we're not preaching to the quiet. Come
- 18:17Speaker 1: on you in the quiet? And who looking at you?
- 18:23Speaker 1: Side at require members? Yeah, you know he might be
- 18:29Speaker 1: changing his way, but he picked you to change it with.
- 18:36Speaker 1: It could happen well, mo and Gary Indiana says, I'm
- 18:40Speaker 1: a forty four year old married woman and I need
- 18:42Speaker 1: to know why my husband's underwear keeps disappearing. He had
- 18:47Speaker 1: started going back to the gym after work and when
- 18:49Speaker 1: he gets home, he drops his clothes in the floor
- 18:51Speaker 1: and he takes a shower. I've been picking up this
- 18:53Speaker 1: man's clothes and washing them for nine years, and I
- 18:57Speaker 1: can't figure out why some days there's no underwear on
- 19:00Speaker 1: the floor or in his gym bag. My intuition says,
- 19:04Speaker 1: something strange is going on, and he's hiding his underwear
- 19:07Speaker 1: from me. What do you think now? One or two
- 19:10Speaker 1: things can be happening. I have taken off a pair
- 19:14Speaker 1: of drawls. Yeah in my life where I had to
- 19:21Speaker 1: immediately take out back and start a fire and get
- 19:30Speaker 1: them draws a flame. I knew here well not to
- 19:36Speaker 1: put them in my mother washing machine. Yeah, because I
- 19:40Speaker 1: was gonna spawl all the clothes in the wash. He
- 19:45Speaker 1: didn't running up and down the floor playing basketball. The
- 19:50Speaker 1: things in that were ruin something. Now the other other times,
- 19:55Speaker 1: back in my wild days when I was wild, Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: some of them draws couldn't come back to the house either.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Just ever did ye can do it? You don't tell
- 20:12Speaker 1: him what's onnees draw? Run that blue light over that case, medics.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I can't explain nothing. One's draw hand prints make up? Yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 1: what is this stuff? I couldn't know? So Amber two things.
- 20:40Speaker 1: He's working out really hard and he's embarrassed, or he's
- 20:44Speaker 1: working out real hard and he's in bad All right,
- 20:49Speaker 1: thank you. Cello coming up next to the nephew would
- 20:51Speaker 1: run that prank back right after this You're listening show
- 20:57Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour with the
- 21:00Speaker 1: standing by with today's national news as we are praying
- 21:04Speaker 1: for our neighbors dealing with the flooding in Nashville and
- 21:06Speaker 1: the surrounding areas in Tennessee, and entertainment news. Did you
- 21:11Speaker 1: guys see Steve's big announcement about versus Okay Earth when
- 21:16Speaker 1: the fire versus the Isley Brothers battle. We'll talk about
- 21:19Speaker 1: all of that at the top of the hour. But
- 21:21Speaker 1: right now the nephew is here to run that prank
- 21:23Speaker 1: back what you got for us, nast. It's time to
- 21:26Speaker 1: help some people, Sirley, This right here is make a
- 21:29Speaker 1: wish ministry. You know, yes, but we are here to
- 21:35Speaker 1: help those that less fortunate needs some things. That's a
- 21:41Speaker 1: beautiful one. Let's go, cat dog, make a wish ministry.
- 21:45Speaker 1: New Baptist. This is Terrence Man. Help you please, brother Terrance. Yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: how you doing? I got you your number? You with
- 21:54Speaker 1: the over the church. You went to make a whish ministry. Yes,
- 21:57Speaker 1: I am, I'm gonna help you. Well, listen, I'm actually uh,
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm terminally ill, brothers, brother Terence, and I don't you know,
- 22:09Speaker 1: as far as what the doctors tell me, it could
- 22:11Speaker 1: be six months or another year. But I know my
- 22:16Speaker 1: time here is definitely limited. You know. Well, I'm sorry
- 22:20Speaker 1: to hear that, but we're definitely here to help you
- 22:23Speaker 1: out with whatever you need or whatever we can help
- 22:26Speaker 1: you with. So what can we do for you? Well?
- 22:28Speaker 1: You know, I truly believe that sometimes people have and
- 22:33Speaker 1: you know, I've seen one of the old movies they
- 22:34Speaker 1: got with it got a bucket list or whatever they
- 22:37Speaker 1: called it. You know, people trying to do things before
- 22:39Speaker 1: they leave here. I guess I'm just sitting around trying
- 22:42Speaker 1: to figure out what I could do and what I
- 22:44Speaker 1: wanted to do before I left this world and went
- 22:47Speaker 1: on to what he has for me. Nixt. You know,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I don't believe in doing anything unless it's preyed on first.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh yeah, if you don't mind, maybe you can. You know,
- 23:00Speaker 1: before I can tell you my wish, we prayed that
- 23:02Speaker 1: the wish told come true. You you you're not doing
- 23:05Speaker 1: anything like that. Oh no, I don't mind praying. That's
- 23:07Speaker 1: what we're here. FI. Now your head with him. Yes,
- 23:11Speaker 1: your sir is your head, by your sir, your sir.
- 23:14Speaker 1: Here the God we come to you in the armless way.
- 23:18Speaker 1: We know how Lord, we ask you to touch this
- 23:21Speaker 1: young man and every which way he heard, and then
- 23:25Speaker 1: we ask you to deliver him for whatever is going
- 23:28Speaker 1: on with him, and let him know that we the
- 23:30Speaker 1: church is here to help him with whatever his needs
- 23:33Speaker 1: is in his last days. And Jesus's name, I pray
- 23:37Speaker 1: say Amen with him. It's gonna do it here. Now
- 23:43Speaker 1: you a member of the Church here of New Well.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I was a number I still consider myself. Remember it's
- 23:50Speaker 1: just been quite some time, probably over a year and
- 23:52Speaker 1: a half, two years, as I've been able to come,
- 23:55Speaker 1: you know, through to my my illness. But definitely I
- 23:59Speaker 1: will remember. Well that's all right. We're not worried about
- 24:02Speaker 1: all that. We just here to take care of your
- 24:05Speaker 1: last and final wish. That's what our minister is for.
- 24:08Speaker 1: You know. We helped people with with with anything they need,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you know, like what what what all I mean when
- 24:15Speaker 1: when people call them, won't think what all of you
- 24:17Speaker 1: you are? What all of y'all helped them with? Well,
- 24:20Speaker 1: we've helped them with the rent, uh, take them to
- 24:24Speaker 1: the store, help them with a utility bill, come out
- 24:29Speaker 1: and cut the grass, anything like that they just can't do.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Take them to the doctor's appointment. Anything we'd like to
- 24:35Speaker 1: help them with, we do exactly. Then okay, well I
- 24:39Speaker 1: pretty much got those things taken care of. I think
- 24:43Speaker 1: what I'd like to do between you and and myself,
- 24:47Speaker 1: brother town. And I've never told anyone what I'm about
- 24:50Speaker 1: to tell you. I've never been with a with a
- 24:55Speaker 1: woman before. Huh. I'm you know, I'm thirty eight, but
- 24:59Speaker 1: I've never ben with a woman. Well, I guess that
- 25:03Speaker 1: might be a blessing. You might you might be period.
- 25:05Speaker 1: That's a good thing. Well, you know, but sometimes you know,
- 25:09Speaker 1: I give before I leave. I guess that's a desire
- 25:12Speaker 1: that I have. And and and uh, what I wanted
- 25:15Speaker 1: to ask you was there is a lady there at
- 25:18Speaker 1: the church and before I leave, I think that's the
- 25:23Speaker 1: woman that I would actually like to be with. Well,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I don't know if make a wish ministry can support
- 25:31Speaker 1: that kind of stuff, but uh, go ahead, let me hear. Okay,
- 25:34Speaker 1: the lady that I'm actually interested in actually, uh, she
- 25:39Speaker 1: works at the church too. Well, I see she's donim
- 25:44Speaker 1: a tall when she's about five nine, and she's probably
- 25:47Speaker 1: about a size eight, beautiful long leagues man and and
- 25:52Speaker 1: and and sandy type of half sandy color for Sandy
- 25:55Speaker 1: brown man. And I mean she looked like Calma. Hold
- 25:59Speaker 1: on a minute, what's her name? I think her name Linda?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Now hold on, that's my wife. What you mean go ahead?
- 26:09Speaker 1: See wait wait wait wait wait wait wait Linda your wife? Yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 1: that's my wife. You Sorvince, what do you mean? Come listen,
- 26:17Speaker 1: y'all are a ministry now now, if y'all supposed to
- 26:20Speaker 1: be taking care of people, don't make a wish and
- 26:22Speaker 1: then taking care of what they want before they leave
- 26:24Speaker 1: this world. If that's my wish, what is the problem
- 26:27Speaker 1: listening here? You didn't cross every line there was about
- 26:30Speaker 1: this man, so I don't give a damn about it.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I'm you're talking about sleeping with my w If I
- 26:36Speaker 1: see y'all gonna do something to you. They ain't gonna
- 26:38Speaker 1: even be able to recognize you. So what the you
- 26:40Speaker 1: talking about? Missing with my wife? Son of them? I
- 26:43Speaker 1: called Miss Linda myself and seeing you or have a
- 26:46Speaker 1: problem with helping me make my wish come true? Go
- 26:48Speaker 1: right head and calling you won't call nobody else. That
- 26:52Speaker 1: would be the last call you make. I thought y'all
- 26:56Speaker 1: were here to relieve people so they can enjoy them.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Say before they leave this world? You talk about sleeping
- 27:03Speaker 1: with my wife? Are you crazy? But? But if I'm
- 27:05Speaker 1: ten to leave here, ain't nobody gonna know? But you
- 27:08Speaker 1: want hut? I don't care if you die. I don't care.
- 27:11Speaker 1: You ain't sleeping with my wife and your food with her.
- 27:14Speaker 1: You probably gonna go ahead and die quicker than you
- 27:16Speaker 1: need you. I thought this was a ministry. I don't
- 27:20Speaker 1: tell you. Now you over they're telling me about daring.
- 27:22Speaker 1: Y'all supposed to be a ministry that helps people before
- 27:25Speaker 1: they leave a word what it is. But you talk
- 27:27Speaker 1: about sleeping with my wife. You got an illness, But
- 27:30Speaker 1: something must be wrong with your brain talking about missing
- 27:33Speaker 1: with man wife. Ain't nobody don't even know I've been
- 27:35Speaker 1: what your wife wants? Something gonna there. Ain't gonna beople
- 27:37Speaker 1: the tool, y'all. At least you would have helped me
- 27:39Speaker 1: before I left. No, I can't help you with nothing.
- 27:42Speaker 1: And let me tell you something. I'm not the preacher,
- 27:44Speaker 1: I'm not the past I'm not the deacon, I'm not
- 27:46Speaker 1: none of them. But if you mentioned my wife, you're
- 27:49Speaker 1: gonna know who I am. I'm gonna be the undertaker.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Do you understand? I here what youth paying? But I
- 27:53Speaker 1: got one more thing I need to tell you about
- 27:56Speaker 1: who I ain't who asked you? Isn't it to go ahead?
- 27:59Speaker 1: Let me? This is nephew talk me from the Steve
- 28:03Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Your wife Linda got me the prince. No,
- 28:08Speaker 1: y'all tell me you ain't even recording. This is man's
- 28:17Speaker 1: recording every last bit of Lord Hammler. Last thing gonna
- 28:23Speaker 1: hear this is I got one more thing. What is
- 28:29Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the radio show in the land,
- 28:34Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. I think I'm I'm I don't
- 28:43Speaker 1: know if there's them a Prink Hall of Fame. I
- 28:47Speaker 1: mean I think, I mean, I mean, I think I'm in.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I think I'm in the Prink Hall of Fame. I
- 28:56Speaker 1: like it. I like it. Now you have it, folks
- 29:02Speaker 1: than you at his most ignorant. That's the truth, all right, nephew, Well,
- 29:09Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,

- 29:44Speaker 1: day is. It is one of the most important days
- 29:48Speaker 1: in the Christian faith that will be handled from twelve
- 29:53Speaker 1: midnight all the way up to that day. But somewhere, yes,
- 30:01Speaker 1: they the old that even come on after you gave
- 30:05Speaker 1: him all his just due that will be a versus

- 30:19Speaker 1: easier if you just download and go get it on Triller.
- 30:24Speaker 1: That living legend himself, Ronald Osley, the Osley Brothers, Ron
- 30:31Speaker 1: Osley and Ernie Osley will be sitting across from the
- 30:36Speaker 1: greatest group ever formed, the Elements Earth Where for y'all, Oh,
- 30:47Speaker 1: that's how they did it for it. I've seen both
- 30:51Speaker 1: these bands live on numerous occasions. I knew the Osley
- 30:56Speaker 1: Brothers before I knew ere Win. But I will be
- 31:00Speaker 1: hosting the Verses this Sunday, on Easter Sunday. Tune in
- 31:05Speaker 1: for two things, y'all. You will see the greatest string
- 31:10Speaker 1: of hits ever put on Versus period. That's no work
- 31:16Speaker 1: that has been on Versus that's got more hits than
- 31:21Speaker 1: these two damn people right here, right bad. And you
- 31:27Speaker 1: got the Versus Versus the Verses. First of all, there's
- 31:30Speaker 1: been nobody on Versus. There is some great artists. Now
- 31:33Speaker 1: I'm not saying that some outstanding artis, some legends of
- 31:38Speaker 1: some legends into making. But just Ron Osley alone got
- 31:46Speaker 1: twenty two platinum albums, that hits albums, that's just him.
- 31:57Speaker 1: So I don't know what to tell you. What was
- 32:00Speaker 1: that story when you were doing your show about little
- 32:03Speaker 1: ba Wow when he was a little Bawow And this
- 32:06Speaker 1: is a true story. Little by Wah came on our
- 32:09Speaker 1: show when I had to Steve Harvey show Steve hot
- 32:12Speaker 1: Tower in the High Tops. Ron Osley was the lead
- 32:15Speaker 1: singer of our group. He was pretty tony. Little by
- 32:20Speaker 1: Wah was our special guest at week. Jermaine dupri was
- 32:24Speaker 1: handling a little bay Wa at the time. Jermaine Dupri
- 32:26Speaker 1: told him first day he got on the set, when
- 32:28Speaker 1: you get Ronnie grown ass me and don't say nothing
- 32:31Speaker 1: to him. That's I'm wit. You don't open your damn
- 32:34Speaker 1: mouth to him. Little by Wah was respectful. We had
- 32:38Speaker 1: a good week. Last day of the show, we're about
- 32:40Speaker 1: to have a prayer within the circle holding that Jermaine
- 32:44Speaker 1: dupris ain't nowhere to be found. Little Bawah got between
- 32:47Speaker 1: me and Ron Osley. Yeah, and here he come. He
- 32:52Speaker 1: looked at ron Eves and said you were singing hump.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Ron Eysley looked down at him and say, yeah, I'm
- 32:57Speaker 1: a singer. Little bay Wah said, I got a gold
- 33:00Speaker 1: libum you ever had a goal album line obvious nine
- 33:05Speaker 1: hand no goal abum. I got twenty one platinum Germaine.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The pre king over there told you not to say
- 33:17Speaker 1: talking to them fault. I'll be telling the whole story
- 33:21Speaker 1: on verse all right. I'll take us to miss Anne Steve,
- 33:27Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, miss and crap. Okay, thank you very much, Steve.
- 33:32Speaker 1: A good story. This is answer for the news. Well,
- 33:34Speaker 1: you know. Opening statements were made yesterday by both sides
- 33:37Speaker 1: in the trial of the white x Minneapolis cop named
- 33:39Speaker 1: Derek Chauvin who's accused of the brutal murder of George Floyd.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Special Prosecutor Jerry Blackwell went first with a video and
- 33:45Speaker 1: this statement on May twenty fifth of twenty twenty. Mister
- 33:49Speaker 1: Derek Shaman betrayed this badge when he used excessive and
- 33:54Speaker 1: unreasonable force up on the body of mister George Floyd.
- 33:58Speaker 1: You can believe your eyes. It's a homiscience murder. Meanwhile,
- 34:01Speaker 1: the defense promises to show that Chauvin was following procedure
- 34:04Speaker 1: when he restrained mister Floyd and that Floyd was not
- 34:07Speaker 1: strangled to death. But and he tend to show that
- 34:10Speaker 1: Floyd's drug use and heart problems will be central to
- 34:13Speaker 1: his case. Well. With word of that strategy, Attorney Benjamin
- 34:16Speaker 1: Crump's reaction basically, don't try it there because he had
- 34:21Speaker 1: a trace amount of George's founding his system. He say, Oh,
- 34:27Speaker 1: that's what killed him, not what Derk Chauvin did. George
- 34:31Speaker 1: Floyd was while in talking and breathing just until that
- 34:36Speaker 1: officer put his knee on his neck. And the only
- 34:39Speaker 1: thing that killed George Fiery Floyd. Julia Oh May twenty
- 34:45Speaker 1: here in Minnie Amelt, Minnesota, was an Oh. George Floyd's
- 34:53Speaker 1: killing spark protests against racism and police brutality. Actually all
- 34:57Speaker 1: over the world. The NAACP mean while suing over the
- 35:00Speaker 1: State of George's newly restrictive voting rights law, calling it
- 35:03Speaker 1: intentional discrimination and saying that it should be struck down
- 35:06Speaker 1: as unconstitutional. Civil rights organization has been joined and is
- 35:10Speaker 1: complained by the League of Women Voters by common Cause.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Even the Veskogee Creeka Native American tribe. That massive cargo
- 35:17Speaker 1: container ship that got stuck in the Suez Canal about
- 35:19Speaker 1: a week ago was freed up yesterday and towed to
- 35:22Speaker 1: a nearby lake to check for any damage to floor.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Of the canal also that links the Mediterranean and Red
- 35:28Speaker 1: Seas will also be inspected to see if it was
- 35:29Speaker 1: disturbed by the dredging. They were over three hundred and
- 35:32Speaker 1: sixty oil and gas tankers that got stuck behind that
- 35:34Speaker 1: darn thing. Yesterday's vote in Bessemer, Alabama being called one
- 35:38Speaker 1: of the most consequential union elections in recent history. Voting
- 35:41Speaker 1: taking place at Amazon's warehouse. If they vote for unionization,
- 35:45Speaker 1: that would really be massive Amazon as the second largest
- 35:47Speaker 1: private employer in the whole country. Finally, lawmakers in the
- 35:51Speaker 1: state of New York about to make a recreational marijuana
- 35:54Speaker 1: legal Mary Jane I used to call it. It's called
- 35:59Speaker 1: the Marijuana Regular Taxation Act. Okay, now back to Steve
- 36:03Speaker 1: Harvey Mourning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Listen Steve Harvey Nation. We want you to stay woke
- 36:11Speaker 1: on this one. Our voting rights are being threatened across
- 36:14Speaker 1: this country. Stacy Abrams, our Queen, predicted that Georgia Republicans
- 36:19Speaker 1: believe that too many Democrats voted, so their focus is
- 36:24Speaker 1: on keeping them from voting by any means necessary. Also
- 36:29Speaker 1: that similar voter suppression laws would make their way through
- 36:32Speaker 1: GOP controlled legislatures in other states, But our forever First
- 36:36Speaker 1: Lady Michelle Obama has something for him. She says that
- 36:39Speaker 1: you can do something and take action by contacting your
- 36:43Speaker 1: elected officials. Before the People Act incorporates key measures that
- 36:48Speaker 1: are urgently needed, including automatic voter registration and other steps
- 36:53Speaker 1: to modernize our elections, and a national guarantee of free
- 36:57Speaker 1: and fair elections without voters suppression. If enacted, it would
- 37:02Speaker 1: be the most significant voting rights and democracy reform in
- 37:06Speaker 1: more than half a century. That's more than fifty years.
- 37:09Speaker 1: It's been fifty years. What do we need to do?
- 37:13Speaker 1: Go to Steve, Go to when we All Vote dot org.
- 37:17Speaker 1: When we all vote dot org, fill out the form
- 37:22Speaker 1: to contact your senator and help pass critical voting rights reform. Okay,
- 37:28Speaker 1: one more time, go to when we All Vote dot
- 37:31Speaker 1: org to fill out the form to contact your senator. Okay,
- 37:35Speaker 1: this is crucial, It really is. Voter suppression is real,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and this right here will help counter what they've done
- 37:45Speaker 1: in the state of Georgia behind closed doors. Yeah, when
- 37:50Speaker 1: Governor kimp Vickery signed a one hundred page bill that
- 37:56Speaker 1: is filled with nothing but voter or voter suppression, that's
- 38:01Speaker 1: all it is. And it's targeted at our area that
- 38:07Speaker 1: we live in, specifically targeted this right here. But but
- 38:14Speaker 1: but but see, I got news for them. It's a
- 38:16Speaker 1: new day. It's not going to work. We are going
- 38:20Speaker 1: to inform our listeners, we are going to educate our voters,
- 38:25Speaker 1: and we are going to register more. We are going
- 38:27Speaker 1: to register more. And you know why, I know we're
- 38:30Speaker 1: going to register more because it's more of us. It's
- 38:34Speaker 1: more of us who have been disenfranchise, and there are
- 38:38Speaker 1: more of us who understand that there are people who
- 38:41Speaker 1: have been disenfranchised that just want everything to be equal,
- 38:45Speaker 1: and you just want to try to keep a level
- 38:47Speaker 1: of superiority. Those days are done. Your days are numbered,
- 38:53Speaker 1: Governor Kemp, you will not be in office loan the
- 38:57Speaker 1: next time you run, sir, who ever yours, we're gonna
- 39:02Speaker 1: show up for ye yes, our snacks in our bag
- 39:06Speaker 1: and our waters anyway, right, all right, thank you, Steve.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna thirty four minutes after the hour.
- 39:20Speaker 1: This is very serious right now. Derek Chauvin h Derek
- 39:24Speaker 1: Chauvin's trial is underway in Minnesota. We'll talk about that,
- 39:27Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to well. Yesterday was the
- 39:34Speaker 1: first day of the trial of Derek Chauvin. He's on
- 39:37Speaker 1: trial for the murder of George Floyd just just ten
- 39:41Speaker 1: months ago. The prosecution played the whole video for the jury,
- 39:46Speaker 1: all nine minutes and twenty nine seconds of it, complete
- 39:49Speaker 1: with audio of Floyd gasping I can't breathe twenty seven
- 39:54Speaker 1: times and witnesses urging Chauvin to get off Floyd's neck.
- 40:00Speaker 1: One of the witnesses for the prosecutor was the nine
- 40:02Speaker 1: one one operator generally Scurry generally is a nine one
- 40:06Speaker 1: one dispatcher who was working on the day of Floyd's death,
- 40:10Speaker 1: and she testified that she alerted a police department supervisor
- 40:15Speaker 1: that she had a good instinct that something wasn't wrong,
- 40:19Speaker 1: something was wrong, just something just wasn't right. Chauvin is
- 40:22Speaker 1: charged with second degree murder, third degree murder, and second
- 40:26Speaker 1: degree manslaughter. The defense argued that George Floyd died of
- 40:30Speaker 1: cardiac arrhythmia, hypertension, and co ordinary disease. He claimed toxicology
- 40:36Speaker 1: tests revealed fentanol and metha and phetamine were in Floyd's system, which,
- 40:41Speaker 1: along with adrenaline, all acted to further compromise an already
- 40:46Speaker 1: compromised heart. Oh really, they're trying to his death and
- 40:57Speaker 1: not Chauvin's knee on his neck. That's what they're trying
- 41:01Speaker 1: to say. Well, listen to me. You can have cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, dementia,
- 41:12Speaker 1: and arthritis all at the same time. But if somebody
- 41:18Speaker 1: put their knee on your neck for eight minutes and
- 41:20Speaker 1: forty six seconds and you keep saying I can't breathe,
- 41:25Speaker 1: it is the lack of oxygen, thank you, that causes
- 41:30Speaker 1: anything to be heightened. And your knee on his neck
- 41:35Speaker 1: suppressing his esophagus and his breathing passages, his airflow caused
- 41:42Speaker 1: not enough oxygen to get to whatever you might say
- 41:45Speaker 1: he had, thus producing his death. That, my dear friend,
- 41:52Speaker 1: is murder. The lawyer as good as you are, right good,
- 42:00Speaker 1: I mean, brother, you you can talk about what's in
- 42:02Speaker 1: his system all day long. The problem he wasn't having
- 42:05Speaker 1: wasn't flanol. The damn problem wasn't lack of oxygen. Yes,
- 42:11Speaker 1: when he calls on his mother, when he called on
- 42:17Speaker 1: his mother who was already passed away, that you, brother,
- 42:24Speaker 1: that's a dead that's a dead giveaway signal right here.
- 42:27Speaker 1: This is almost like a deathbed confession. You know, they
- 42:33Speaker 1: take people's last words on their deathbed as as fat
- 42:37Speaker 1: because it really ain't no time to lie. When he
- 42:40Speaker 1: called on his mother, who was already gone, he knew
- 42:45Speaker 1: then he was in trouble and he was dying. And
- 42:49Speaker 1: it wasn't because of finanol or weak card or none
- 42:54Speaker 1: of that. He was fine. That he was fine. Yeah,
- 43:00Speaker 1: when you was coughing him, he was fine. When you
- 43:03Speaker 1: threw him on the ground, he was okay. But when
- 43:07Speaker 1: you lean your full body weight on that man's back
- 43:11Speaker 1: of his neck, and you heard him say twenty seven times,
- 43:16Speaker 1: I can't breathe, and you never once just tried to
- 43:19Speaker 1: sit him up, so he can't do it. Hell, he coughed,
- 43:25Speaker 1: and you got five white men standing there, y'all scared
- 43:28Speaker 1: of one black dude. That bad really man, no man.
- 43:34Speaker 1: And that's that's something about the prosecution witness, the nine
- 43:37Speaker 1: one one operator. She is a witness for the prosecution,
- 43:40Speaker 1: and it's very rare that you see law enforcement testify
- 43:43Speaker 1: against law enforcement. So she saw something that was wrong
- 43:48Speaker 1: that yeah, you're right, and she went to the supervisor.
- 43:52Speaker 1: She said, I don't care what y'all call me, you
- 43:55Speaker 1: call me a snitch or whatever. She knew that wasn't
- 43:57Speaker 1: right now. I'm curious. Is Minnesota a blue state or
- 44:00Speaker 1: red state? I'm just curious. There's a blue statement head,
- 44:05Speaker 1: white police officer with big as knees saying that's all
- 44:08Speaker 1: we need to know. Yeah, show ten and a half
- 44:12Speaker 1: to fifteen years in prison under sentencing guidelines for first
- 44:16Speaker 1: time offenders. Yeah, yeah, all right, coming up next and
- 44:20Speaker 1: Nephew as we switch gears, and Nephew is here with
- 44:23Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening to
- 44:28Speaker 1: morning show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:35Speaker 1: The subject she gave me more than I bargained for.
- 44:39Speaker 1: Let me just say, right off the dribble, this is
- 44:41Speaker 1: not what you think, okay at all. We'll get into
- 44:46Speaker 1: that in just a bit, but right now, the nephew
- 44:48Speaker 1: is here with today's prank phone call. What you got
- 44:50Speaker 1: for is nef Well, A lot of people don't like
- 44:53Speaker 1: to talk about it, but I'm gonna bring it up.
- 44:55Speaker 1: The voice, papless ye, the voice. Hey, Okay, some people
- 45:04Speaker 1: get served. It happened so many different ways. Let's go
- 45:07Speaker 1: get dog. Hello. Hello, I am trying to reach A Jones. Please.
- 45:15Speaker 1: My name is Attorney Guidry from the missing law firm?
- 45:19Speaker 1: Is she available? How you doing? Man? I'm actually trying
- 45:23Speaker 1: to get some business rectified dealing with your divorce that
- 45:26Speaker 1: took place, I guess over the last seven whole year.
- 45:29Speaker 1: It's I correct, correct? I got some file up with
- 45:32Speaker 1: your paperwork here. Now, you guys had some property that
- 45:35Speaker 1: you owned together, I believe in Avondale, Am I correct? Correct?
- 45:39Speaker 1: I'm looking at your paperwork here, miss Jones. Okay, now
- 45:44Speaker 1: we're getting down to the property and that seems to
- 45:46Speaker 1: be where the problem is lies. This in Avondale, you
- 45:48Speaker 1: guys had some property and you sold it as you
- 45:51Speaker 1: both went and split your ways. Right, looking at the
- 45:55Speaker 1: paperwork that I have here, it seems like it was
- 45:58Speaker 1: filled out incorrectly. I don't know how seven years has
- 46:02Speaker 1: passed for this to come back and fall on my
- 46:04Speaker 1: desk to be uh to get rectified. But um, whatever
- 46:08Speaker 1: the dividends were that you guys took and shared that
- 46:12Speaker 1: you're now looking as if you're owing mister Jones an
- 46:16Speaker 1: additional eighteen thousand dollars. What I ma'am, I don't know.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
- 46:25Speaker 1: I wanted to bring this information to you and see
- 46:27Speaker 1: how we can get it rectified. I'm not looking for
- 46:30Speaker 1: you to have that much money available at today, but
- 46:34Speaker 1: I do know as a as an attorney for mister Jones,
- 46:37Speaker 1: I must say that we're trying to get it taken
- 46:39Speaker 1: care of as soon as possible. Wait a minute, how
- 46:44Speaker 1: do I owe him eighteen thousand? I'm reason well, the
- 46:49Speaker 1: paperwork here, ma'am, seems to be it wasn't supposed to
- 46:53Speaker 1: be fifty percent, fifty percent between you and you all.
- 46:57Speaker 1: It should have been seventy five twenty five, and he
- 46:59Speaker 1: being seventy five percent of the property owed to him
- 47:02Speaker 1: and twenty five percent. I don't know how you know
- 47:05Speaker 1: Louisa as a communitive practice, and how could he get
- 47:08Speaker 1: seventy five percent? I mean, I get twenty five from
- 47:11Speaker 1: my understanding that he paid most of the bills when
- 47:14Speaker 1: you guys were living together, And I don't have anything
- 47:17Speaker 1: to do with that. No, he didn't pay most of
- 47:19Speaker 1: the bills. I work and contribute to right, and I
- 47:22Speaker 1: understand that. But if I understand from what I have here,
- 47:25Speaker 1: on the paperwork, and I understand that you had some
- 47:27Speaker 1: contribution to it, but it just seems like you did
- 47:30Speaker 1: not contribute as much as he did. And yes, and dude,
- 47:33Speaker 1: I never heard like this. I do apologize, man, but
- 47:37Speaker 1: what I do need you to do is definitely not
- 47:40Speaker 1: use that type of language while I'm on the phone. Okay, Well, look,
- 47:42Speaker 1: I don't really have to talk to you because I
- 47:44Speaker 1: know I don't know. I don't owe no John's no
- 47:47Speaker 1: eighteen thousand dollars and he didn't overpay me because it
- 47:51Speaker 1: was communitive profit. I had two children for him. I
- 47:54Speaker 1: left with none yet everything, and there's no way I'm
- 47:57Speaker 1: going to pay him no eighteen thousand dollars. Man. I
- 47:59Speaker 1: hate to get all up rup with you, but you
- 48:01Speaker 1: are going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars now, that's
- 48:04Speaker 1: going to happen. Now. If I have to garnish your
- 48:06Speaker 1: check and do it, then that's the way it will
- 48:08Speaker 1: have to be done. But the money will be coming
- 48:10Speaker 1: to mister Kirk Jones in the sum of eighteen thousand.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Call it back, kid, Yes, Look, don't you hang up
- 48:18Speaker 1: on me again. Now. If I have to put a
- 48:20Speaker 1: lean on your property or put a lean on your
- 48:22Speaker 1: Which one do you want? Look as you talk to
- 48:25Speaker 1: me last start, I talk to you anyway I want
- 48:27Speaker 1: to talked about because once I want to all that
- 48:31Speaker 1: was over with. You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars. That's
- 48:34Speaker 1: what you're gonna do now. I don't want to have
- 48:37Speaker 1: to come in your house, ma'am to pick up this money,
- 48:40Speaker 1: but I will. I'm not working. I want a little
- 48:43Speaker 1: high school. I have to pay him eighteen dollars. See,
- 48:45Speaker 1: you're not working. That's our problem from the start. That's
- 48:48Speaker 1: why it wasn't fifty fifty. That's why it was seventy
- 48:50Speaker 1: five twenty five, because you were not holding the I
- 48:53Speaker 1: work off through the upstute that made twenty six years
- 48:56Speaker 1: and I worked, Well, what is your butt doing now? Nothing? Well,
- 49:00Speaker 1: there we go. That seems to be the root of
- 49:02Speaker 1: our problem, isn't it. No, that ain't a ruling, no problem,
- 49:05Speaker 1: because I want to know how did Kirker get a
- 49:08Speaker 1: eighteen percent and weave that as a communitive property. He
- 49:12Speaker 1: had yes lawyer and I had my lawyer. He agreed
- 49:14Speaker 1: to and that was that. So I don't know how
- 49:16Speaker 1: I owe him eighteen thousand. Man, that's the way the
- 49:20Speaker 1: problem was, evidently you didn't read the paperwork that you
- 49:23Speaker 1: signed when you and Kirk separated seven years ago. Now,
- 49:26Speaker 1: if you didn't read your paperwork correctly, this is why
- 49:28Speaker 1: it comes back to bite you and you but oh no,
- 49:30Speaker 1: it's not. Because I had a lawyer and he had
- 49:34Speaker 1: yes lawyer. We agree with that. That was back and forward,
- 49:37Speaker 1: and we agree with everything he signed with it. But
- 49:40Speaker 1: now was dark. Well maybe you didn't have a lawyer.
- 49:42Speaker 1: That was worth for damn who didn't read the bottom
- 49:44Speaker 1: of the paperwork himself. And I had a lawyer. Thought
- 49:47Speaker 1: I had a good lawyer, and I understand that. Man,
- 49:50Speaker 1: when that happens a lot of a lot of time,
- 49:52Speaker 1: I can't believe that. And I had two children struggle
- 49:56Speaker 1: with him, and we got what we got by both
- 49:58Speaker 1: of us work, and this he gonna come back and an,
- 50:01Speaker 1: oh no, I'm gonna fight this. When can we expect
- 50:05Speaker 1: the payment starting to work on this eighteen thousand? I
- 50:08Speaker 1: don't know. Well, I mean I'm gonna have to get
- 50:10Speaker 1: a date or something where I can start getting five
- 50:13Speaker 1: hundred dollars from you per month or something like that, Yes,
- 50:16Speaker 1: five hundred a month. I haven't worked. I was working
- 50:19Speaker 1: and when you want to set it. I don't think
- 50:21Speaker 1: I should have to tell tell you all this because
- 50:24Speaker 1: I need to get talked to me a lawyer, because
- 50:26Speaker 1: I'm not agreeing to anything, because I don't think that
- 50:30Speaker 1: it's not fair. I tell you give me a dead
- 50:33Speaker 1: night because I'm gonna have to get me a lawyer,
- 50:35Speaker 1: an't it. I'm trying to keep my composed as an attorney, ma'am?
- 50:40Speaker 1: How do you have the writer? And I don't have
- 50:42Speaker 1: no faithful over there? You are? You have you remarried? No,
- 50:46Speaker 1: I haven't. Okay, you realize if I don't get the money,
- 50:50Speaker 1: then I don't get paid. Right Listen, I'm gonna be
- 50:53Speaker 1: down in your area probably on Wednesday. Do you think
- 50:57Speaker 1: you and I can get together and probably talk about
- 50:59Speaker 1: this because I want to help you as much as
- 51:01Speaker 1: I can. Yeah, because I don't think it's fair to me. Winsay,
- 51:05Speaker 1: wad I'm not I could be there. Well you think
- 51:08Speaker 1: that maybe? Yeah, you and I can get together maybe
- 51:11Speaker 1: and work something out. Yeah, because I know I'm not.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I mean, I cannot afford to pick Johnson or eighteen hundred,
- 51:17Speaker 1: you know, took the house on it for little or
- 51:19Speaker 1: nothing and I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.
- 51:22Speaker 1: I'll do this. I won't I won't tell mister Jones anything,
- 51:25Speaker 1: but only on one condition, that's me and you being
- 51:28Speaker 1: able to work this thing out behind closed doors. What
- 51:30Speaker 1: you mean work it out? I mean work it out?
- 51:33Speaker 1: What do you mean? What do you think? I mean?
- 51:36Speaker 1: I don't know. Tell me, well, maybe you know, like
- 51:40Speaker 1: I'm dumb, some relations or something. Why would you want
- 51:43Speaker 1: a relationship with me? Not even know that relationship, but
- 51:47Speaker 1: just you know, maybe kind of kicking take care of you?
- 51:51Speaker 1: What way I'm dumb? I don't know. I don't know
- 51:55Speaker 1: nothing about life. I think you know a whole line
- 51:57Speaker 1: about life. But why is you mess with me? I
- 52:01Speaker 1: just want to see if we can maybe get together.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I'll throw all his paperwork out and I'll let no,
- 52:06Speaker 1: it's not possible, but if you meet me, you meet
- 52:09Speaker 1: me Wednesday, and I'll make this thing go away. I
- 52:12Speaker 1: don't believe. I'll tell you what else. You ain't gonna
- 52:15Speaker 1: believe what this is? Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey
- 52:18Speaker 1: Mortan Show. You just got pranked by your sister Janis
- 52:23Speaker 1: you no good? I got Janis on the phone. I
- 52:30Speaker 1: got her I got her grand baby on the phone.
- 52:35Speaker 1: You just got by the whole family, Jaz, I'm gonna
- 52:41Speaker 1: kick you man. Come on, baby knife, huh working out?
- 53:02Speaker 1: Tell me what you mean? I'm done, Carlin. Did you
- 53:05Speaker 1: hear that in New Orleans? And boys? Oh day? Yes,

- 54:13Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 54:15Speaker 1: is a Strawberry letter subject she gave me more than
- 54:19Speaker 1: I bargained for. Dear Stephen Shirley, I need your help
- 54:22Speaker 1: on how to resolve a big mess with one of
- 54:24Speaker 1: my girlfriends. I have a nonprofit organization for homeless women,
- 54:29Speaker 1: and I provide clothing and toiletries for the ladies. I've
- 54:32Speaker 1: been using part of my living room to sort donations.
- 54:36Speaker 1: An old friend of mine recently lost weight and donated
- 54:39Speaker 1: her old clothes to my organization. I went by her
- 54:42Speaker 1: house to pick up the items, and I was happy
- 54:44Speaker 1: to see that she had two big black garbage bags
- 54:48Speaker 1: full of clothes. My trunk was already full, so she
- 54:51Speaker 1: put the two bags on my back seat. As I
- 54:53Speaker 1: drove home, I noticed something flying around the car. I
- 54:57Speaker 1: pulled over to see what it was, and I was
- 55:00Speaker 1: grossed out when I saw it was a big brown
- 55:03Speaker 1: roach on my back seat. I didn't know how it
- 55:07Speaker 1: got in there, but I live in a humid city,
- 55:09Speaker 1: so it could have crawled in from the outside. I
- 55:13Speaker 1: went on home and put both bags in my living room,
- 55:16Speaker 1: and I opened the bags to peek inside, then got
- 55:19Speaker 1: distracted by the phone ringing. I went back into my
- 55:22Speaker 1: living room a few minutes later to find a roach
- 55:25Speaker 1: crawling on the window sill and another roach crawling on
- 55:29Speaker 1: the mirror. I was so startled and grossed out, but
- 55:33Speaker 1: I managed to get a cell phone video of the bugs.
- 55:36Speaker 1: I called my husband at work and he came straight home.
- 55:40Speaker 1: He checked my car and found two small roaches in there.
- 55:44Speaker 1: He called an exterminator to come immediately to spray the
- 55:47Speaker 1: house and my car. Quiet you, guys. I called my
- 55:51Speaker 1: girlfriend and told her I threw her clothes away because
- 55:56Speaker 1: they were full of roaches. I asked her to reimburse
- 56:00Speaker 1: us for the exterminator, and she told me to go
- 56:02Speaker 1: to hell. I sent her the roach video and she
- 56:07Speaker 1: blocked my number. How can she act like this? Should
- 56:10Speaker 1: we take her to court for the money? Really? To court?
- 56:13Speaker 1: Come on, now, I know you're mad and grossed out
- 56:17Speaker 1: and everything, and I definitely will be it would be
- 56:20Speaker 1: too because you but stop. Okay, she's not giving us
- 56:28Speaker 1: anything back. You will not be reimbursed. You sound crazy
- 56:33Speaker 1: and ungrateful to her. Why because people with roaches always, always,
- 56:41Speaker 1: always act like it's no big deal. They always act
- 56:44Speaker 1: like that it's just a darned roach. Okay. I can't,
- 56:48Speaker 1: for the life of me understand this logic, but it
- 56:52Speaker 1: is what it is. I think maybe they see roaches
- 56:56Speaker 1: so much that maybe they become immune to them, or
- 56:59Speaker 1: you know, they're just part of the furniture whatever. I
- 57:02Speaker 1: don't know. So you're just gonna have to take an
- 57:04Speaker 1: l on this one and go on with your life. Okay,
- 57:09Speaker 1: nothing is going to change. You're not gonna resolve this
- 57:12Speaker 1: issue with her. Be glad you could afford an exterminator
- 57:16Speaker 1: so you wouldn't have to deal with as many roaches
- 57:18Speaker 1: as she's dealing within her house. Okay, like her, that's it. Nothing,
- 57:22Speaker 1: Just move on. Nothing's gonna happen. It's roaches in her opinion,
- 57:27Speaker 1: in her mind, Steve, should we take her to court
- 57:33Speaker 1: for the money? The girl? Stop? Do you know how
- 57:39Speaker 1: much you got to go to court. You're gonna have
- 57:42Speaker 1: to take off work, you got to miss days, you
- 57:47Speaker 1: got to get some lawyers. How much was the exterminator?
- 57:54Speaker 1: The roaches just got there. They hadn't even had chance
- 57:59Speaker 1: to set up. Your husband had the exterminator come that day.
- 58:05Speaker 1: Now let's just come to someone. You went over there,
- 58:11Speaker 1: you picked up the clothes, your damn self. You put
- 58:15Speaker 1: them in the back seat. See that's what you get.
- 58:18Speaker 1: See when you go picking up bags, you need to
- 58:21Speaker 1: open up. Look inside. They was in there because this
- 58:26Speaker 1: bag was full of roaches. You could bleed this now,
- 58:30Speaker 1: they were full of roaches. They that got out in
- 58:34Speaker 1: the car. Louie was too Luis then there making kids
- 58:38Speaker 1: in this bang. The roach had been down in that bag.
- 58:42Speaker 1: That ain't no bag. That's that that has like the
- 58:46Speaker 1: that's that's like a hotel. Now Dan there, Dan there
- 58:51Speaker 1: making little roaches, big roaches. Now you're in the car
- 58:58Speaker 1: and you notice someone was flying round. You say, you
- 59:02Speaker 1: live in a humid city, so it could have flew
- 59:04Speaker 1: from me and outside, well, a man something was the
- 59:07Speaker 1: windows down, because it doesn't sound like it, so you
- 59:14Speaker 1: head down. So now you already know they ain't came
- 59:17Speaker 1: in through the window. I didn't know how I got
- 59:20Speaker 1: it in the asshole you are. You could have crawled
- 59:22Speaker 1: in from outside. So you get home and you put
- 59:25Speaker 1: both your bags down in your living room and you
- 59:27Speaker 1: open the bags to peek inside. This ain't time for peeking.
- 59:30Speaker 1: You got to look. Well, let's see a roach. Peeking
- 59:38Speaker 1: is over the roaches peaks. You got to look see stone.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Time on roaches peak. You got to look see stone.
- 59:53Speaker 1: You got to get these roaches before they get to
- 59:55Speaker 1: the walls. If one pregnant roach get in that wall,
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: it's a ramp, good Lord of Mighty. Yeah, you know
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: where they came from, because when you came back and
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: got distracted by the phone call, you came back to
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: the bag and you found her. They had started coming
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: out the bay. They was on the window and the
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: window seal. You probably ain't see the one that got
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: up under the console. Okay, hold that thought right there, Steve.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: We'll have you see that coming up at twenty three
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Subject she gave me more than
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I bargained for. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. Subject she gave me more than I
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: bargained for. This damn letter is about roaches. Had us
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: all full of hope with the title she gave me
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: molding our bogging for how to boy, what you're complaining
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: for now? This lady got a girlfriend. She collects clothing
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: for homeless people. Her girl told her she got two
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: big bags over here. Now in bags been sitting there
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: for a while. You took him to getting fit in
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: your trunk. You put them in the back seat, put
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: him in the back seat, and you noticed on the
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: way home something was flying around in the car. That
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: was a roach. You got out. You took the bags
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: and put them in the house. You decided to peek inside.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Like I said before, when we're dealing with roaches, you
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: got there ain't no peeking when you're dealing with roaches.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: You got this look see stump. That's how this work.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: You got to be ls. You got to look see stumping.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: So now you can distracted. You come back. You peek
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: in the bag that's full of it's a garbage bag
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: full of cloth. You notice that it was a roach
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: had got out, was crawling on the window sill, and
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: another roach was crawling on the mirror. They they had
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: been in that bag for a while, so they was
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: heading to the light. But now all roaches don't like
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: like so coupling the roaches got out that band got
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: a bundle something. You got scared? Called your husband. He
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: came right home. Because I'll be damned here, I have
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: been working my whole life trying to get out of
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: my pride conditions, and now I'm over here. What what roach?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Plus you panic? Y'all call exterminator boom. But he went
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: outside in the car and he found two small roaches in. Now, now,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: let us explain something. Team. Roaches can survive in the car.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: They can breathe, And everybody didn't wasted the French fry
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: down that little seat right between the console and the seats.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: Everybody had a little clone from a doughnut. Yea one
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: whole French fry can pretty much whole a hundred roaches.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: You wonder, all I asked, French fry can feed a
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: hundred roaches for I don't know that far fact, but
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: it just seemed like they can hang in now. So
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: now you called your girlfriend and you told her that
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you threw her clothes away because they was full of roaches. Now,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: without doing anything, you asked this woman to reimburse yall
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: for the exterminator. But see you was talking to a
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: crazy to ask what see you ain't put that in letter. Girl.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: I came up your house and you're gonna gave me
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: clothing the roaches in my car and in my house,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and we had to get an exterminator. You owe us.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: And in front of exterminator, sheeter hung up on you.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Your husband took a video or the roaches, Like, who
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: need a video of a damn roach? Just because it's
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: a video of a damn roach, don't mean it's her roaches.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Because see, let me tell you, by law, once the
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: roaches are transported, those are no longer her roaches. Them
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: is your roaches. These is your roaches. Yes, that's a law.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Once once roaches leave your property line, them will not
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: your roaches anymore. They have thumbed a ride somewhere else
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: and they are now belong to the new owners that
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: has the donation center for the harness visas all court
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: cases then I'm like dealing with right now. So I'm
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: just gonna tell you in the court of common sense,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: these are your roaches, and she cannot reimburse you for
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: your roaches. And you you're crazy for writing us. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: this is just about roaches. We don't care. And the
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: lady with the roaches doesn't care. Now, let me ask
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you a question. Then I want an honest answer. Anybody
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: in here didn't glow up and didn't see no roaches
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: at day house? Oh you see? Man? You see? So
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: Now why she acting brand new? Yeah? You know, like
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: she don't know what a roaches? Oh my god, a roach.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: But I will say this, Steve, having a couple of
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: roaches every now and again is different from an infestation,
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: like living with them. You know, it sounds like she
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: packed up woman. Yeah, it was an infestation. She lived
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: with roaches on a daily basis. That's why it was.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Nobody deal to her roaches and continue conversation. Yes, that's
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: why I'm saying people, coaches don't care. You sound crazy
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: to this one I played asking her terminator who's house
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: had been overrun with roaches? There, we'd have been there
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: all night, just putting wine bottles on top of the
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: roaches to kill them. Coaches. I killed with the best joker. Bam,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: that's your book, Pick them up, partner. I didn't kill
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: roaches with pool sticks all kind of stuff. Man, I'm
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: not that comfortable. Listen, this letter ain't more of him. No, no, no,

- 1:08:32Speaker 1: the ball, then I look around put it in my pocket. Yeah,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: ain't nothing wrong with that man anyway. And I want
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: to give a shout out to the University of Houston

- 1:10:08Speaker 1: coming up next. Environmental scienceists warn guys penises are shrinking
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: due to pollution. Yeah, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: That's what's been going on. You're listening to the Stave
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Hary Morning Show, all right, and trending science news. Guys,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: listen closely to this. Doctor Shanna Swann, who is a
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: professor of environmental medicine at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: made the startling claim and a new book of hers
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: explaining that, based on her research, male penises are getting
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: historically smaller due to manufacturing byproducts. The substance in question
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: is called flatholates, which are chemicals created in the production
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: of plastics. When exposed to the human decream system, screws
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: with our national hormone process, a dynamic that doctor Swan
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: says is affecting our reproductive organs. She cites different peer
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: reviewed studies in her findings which say there's a scary
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: trend of modern day babies being born with noticeably shorter members,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: which she directly links to the flatholates she says are
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: seeping into our toys and even some foods we eat
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: getting historically smaller due to manufacture. That's what she's saying. Plastics,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: she sang, plastics, the which are chemical flatholates, which the
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: substance in question is called flatholates, which are chemicals created
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: in the production of plastic. Red boxes. Man, Yeah, so
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: when we drinking out of a plastic bottle that's part
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: of which, when exposed to the human intercream the water.
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I do well that m m so, she says. The
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: doctor says, you're starting your growth everywhere. Doctor. If the guys,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: if we don't do something about this, men can be
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: impotent by the year twenty forty five. How many men
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: she didn't check, Sir, she's a doctor and that's what
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: she didn't check. Confessor of environmental medicine. She I'm good. Hell, well,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna be empty impotent by twenty forty already. To
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: know that, How do you know that you're so healthy? No? When, Hell,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna Steve be the man I am. I didn't
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: know that you're gonna be ninety four at thirty. Yeah,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna want to then, I mean, I'm yeah,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: And I said endocrine system. It's an endocrine endocrine system. Endocrine.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Now what that look like? What endocrine looked like? What
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: is that? It's a cream? No? You had that? Okay,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: let me just tell you what it says in the dictionary.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: I looked it up. Secreting internally producing secretions that are
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: distributed in the body by way of the bloodstream. Hormones
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: produced by the endocrine system, of it relating to effecting
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: or resembling an endocrine gland or secretion. Sound like it's
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: a crisis. Yeah, right now, I'm gonna keep checking mind
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: daily and making sure it ain't like you, like you
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: check your prostate and you give yourself waxes. Right now?
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Would you say it has no effect on me? Right now?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: So I don't give a damn about the story. Whatever
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: we're gonna happen in twenty forty five. How many years
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: is that? Twenty four, twenty twenty four years from now? Yeah,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: twenty four years from now, twenty three I'll be twenty
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: three years. My man, i'd be eighty seven. Yeah, you're
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: not gonna be concerned. Not gonna be concerned about that.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: What about the rest of the guys, older men who
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: who takes the blue pill? Aren't they still active at
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: that agecy? Some of them will be fun. I'm gonna
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: be chewing them like a candy. I'm gonna have them.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna have them around my nick. It's like like
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a Halloween necklace, but the candy. But the candy. Yeah,
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna just have a viag around my nick. Just
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: like like chitlets. For just five minutes, I'm gonna just
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: bite one all chewing. Wow, all right, I've heard it all. Yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: you guys have been worn, So govern yourselves accordingly. More

- 1:16:41Speaker 1: It's gonna be a lot of fun and we'll have
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: thirty three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, yesterday was
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: the first day of the trial of Derek Chauvin. He's
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: on trial for the murder of George Floyd just just
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: ten months ago. The prosecution played the whole video for
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: the jury, all nine minutes and twenty nine seconds of it,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: complete with audio of Floyd gasping I can't breathe twenty
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: seven times and witnesses urging Chauvin to get off Floyd's neck.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: One of the witnesses for the prosecutor was the nine
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: one one operator General Lee Scurry. General Lee is a
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: nine one one dispatcher who was working on the day
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: of Floyd's death, and she testified that she alerted a
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: police department supervisor that she had a good instinct that
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: something wasn't wrong, something was wrong, just something just wasn't right.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Chauvin is charged with second degree murder, third degree murder,
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: and second degree manslaughter. The defense argued that George Floyd
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: died of cardiac arrhythmia, hypertension, and coordinary disease. He claimed
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: toxicology tests revealed fentanol and metha and fhetamine were in
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: floyd sim which, along with adrenaline, all acted to further
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: compromise and already compromised heart. Oh really, well, who they're
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: trying to death and not Shavin's knee on his neck,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: That's what they're trying to say. Well, listen to me.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: You can have cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer's, dementia, and arthritis all
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: at the same time. But if somebody put their knee
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: on your neck for eight minutes and forty six seconds
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: and you keep saying I can't breathe, it is the
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: lack of oxygen, thank you, that causes anything to be heightened.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: And your knee on his neck suppressing his esophagus and
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: his breathing passages. His airflow caused not enough action to
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: get to whatever you might say he had, thus producing
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: his death. That my dear friend is murder. The lawyers,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: I mean, brother, you you can talk about what's in
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: this system all day long. The problem he wasn't having,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: wasn't feeling all The damn problem wasn't lack of oxygen. Yes,
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: when times on his mother, when he called on his
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: mother who was already passed away, that you, brother, that's
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: a dead that's a dead giveaway signal. Right here, this
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: is almost like a deathbed confession. You know, they take
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: people's last words on their deathbed as as fact, because
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: it really ain't no time to lie. When he called
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: on his mother, who was already gold, he knew then
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: he was in trouble. Coming up, we'll have our last
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: break of the day, and of course some closing remarks
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: minutes after the hour right after this you're listening to
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: show all right here we are, guys, our last break
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: of the day. And before we get to Steve's closing
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: remarks today, we want to say, please continue your prayers
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: for our neighbors in Tennessee. They're dealing with the flooding
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: from those flash flood thunderstorms over the weekend. It struck
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: Nashville and the surrounding areas. Please keep the State of Tennessee,
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: in the city of Nashville in your prayers, please. Absolutely,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: nature is not playing. Nope, nope, nope, nope, no unexpected showers. Yeah,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: came from out of nowhere. Yeah, we're praying for you.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: We know all about absolutely absolutely. You know this thing
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: that they've passed in Georgia. I want to talk to
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you all about what's going on with these elections and
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: the results of it, and what happened recently in the
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: state of Georgia is that these are Republicans were behind
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: closed doors with their governor and signed into a bill
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: time signed into law some type of law called the
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: int Election Integrity Act or something like that, which is
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: really just a voter suppression act. They gave it a
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: dressed up name, but all it is, y'all, this is
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: a voter suppression act. It is designed to follow down
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: the dark, devious, lying path that Donald Trump said when
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: he claimed that the election was stolen. When they full
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: well know it wasn't stolen, but what they were they
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: were shocked and surprised at the voter turnout in Georgia, Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Philly,
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: and Atlanta. They were just stunned. And so now they're going,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: wait a minute, they're voting now. So now they're coming
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: up with ways to openly suppress our vote. This is
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: aimed directly at us and the newfound power that we
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: exhibited in the last presidential election, and they don't want
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: it to repeat. So it started with this group of
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: supremacis down in Georgia who are now openly saying we're
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: gonna have a Voter Integrity Act, which is nothing but
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: a voter suppression act to stop these people with these
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: mail in Valley. We're gonna make it so hard to vote.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: We're gonna you can't pass our water in line no more.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: What So you killed any act of human kindness, were
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: gonna make you thirsty till you want to get out
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: of line. So they did this right here. See now,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: what they do not understand. It's what I'm about to
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: tell them that in this last election, your chosen presided
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump awakened a sleeping giant and that giant is us.
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: You did us so wrong, so openly, so blatantly, so
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: in our face, that we woke up and we went
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: what you're doing this to us openly? And so now
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you woke us up. You woke us up in Philly, Milwaukee, Detroit, Georgia.
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: You really woke us up in Texas. Man, we almost
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: flipped that thing blue over there. You woke us up
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: with your hatred, with your divisiveness. You woke us up,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: and you woke up people who were not of color,
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: who didn't really realize what was being done to us,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: but who are good people have said, you know what,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: I'm with them on this right here, Black lives do
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: really matter. So you couldn't flip the script or the
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: narrative on it anymore. And you woke us up. And
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: now we're going to combat this voter Suppression Act, this
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: voter Integrity Act that was done in Georgia with the
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: For the People Act, which is gonna be one of
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: the greatest voter initiatives ever done in over a half
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: a century. And all you gotta do is when we
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: all go to when we all vote dot org to
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: find out what you need to do to put into
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: play the four the People Act, because see, enough of this,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: enough of this trying to make it unequal. These people
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: are openly trying to make it unequal. I've always known
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: him a sixt for years that you didn't want it
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: to be equal. I'm gonna just be honest with you.
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: I've always known that. But you've kind of surprised the
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: younger generation because they didn't know how dirty you really were,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: how really hateful you really really are. And you know what,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: it's just enough of them to make this country just
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: a bad place to be in right now. Because as
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: much as we want to say, this is not our country,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: this very much is our country. This is the country
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: we live in, and we're not having it and we
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: are not going back to the way it used to be.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: You're not making America great again in your estimation. No,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: we are now a viable voting at block. We are
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: going to perform that way from now on. We are
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: going to protect our people in power. We are going
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to get behind our people who need our votes. And
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: we just proved it with the election of Warnock and
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: ourselves down in Georgia. But we proved it when we
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: got rid of Donald Trump. Now you can bring Donald
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: Trump back if you want to. As a matter of fact,
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: I hope you do let him rerun. But he's a
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: bit busy right now because he's really tired up with
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: a lot of legal stuff right now. So it's gonna
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: be a little training for him to try to run again.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: And I hope you sit there and hope and wait
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: on him to run, because now you know what, you're
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: gonna do what you did last time. You're gonna again
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: not prepare a candidate, and you're gonna end That's how
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: you ended up with Donald Trump. Well this time, no
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: matter who you end up with, he's not getting in.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: And Governor Kemp, the next time yours come up, you
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: won't be getting in because just like we put ass
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: off and warnuck in, we're gonna show up and put
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: you out. It's not enough of you to keep you in.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: It's enough of us to keep you out. The giant
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: is awaken now, y'all, and off for ever going to
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: be a formidable voting block. Welcome to how a miracle
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: really gonna get made great? Not again, but maybe find
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: it for all. Steve Harvey contests no purchase necessary, void
