- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know. Y'all have
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit looking back the back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the Millian Bucks things. And it cost me good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve listening to the movie together for Studley, I don't
- 0:38Speaker 1: join joining me. You gotta turn, ye, you gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out. You got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water go. Come, come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your fad uh huh. I show will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, DIGNI now one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: God is good. Hey today, I just want to get
- 2:15Speaker 1: right to it because this has really been pressing me.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I woke up and this was on my mind and
- 2:21Speaker 1: I wanted to share it with you because I know
- 2:25Speaker 1: this for a fact. See I've lived this for a fact.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And you know the majority of things I talk about
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the morning before we get started with the regular show,
- 2:40Speaker 1: it's something that I've experienced. I can only tell you
- 2:43Speaker 1: what I know. And so I've really really understood why
- 2:46Speaker 1: God has had my life go the way that is gone,
- 2:52Speaker 1: Because if I didn't have all these tests in my life,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests that I passed, all
- 2:58Speaker 1: these tests that I failed old. If I didn't have
- 3:02Speaker 1: all of those the good and the bad, what could
- 3:07Speaker 1: I share with you in the morning? What could I
- 3:11Speaker 1: tell you about hanging? What could I tell you about
- 3:16Speaker 1: failing and then winning? What could I tell you about
- 3:20Speaker 1: hanging in now when all hope was gone? How could
- 3:24Speaker 1: I share that with you unless I've had those moments myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you. I don't care
- 3:34Speaker 1: what you're going through. Don't you dare dare give up?
- 3:41Speaker 1: Under no circumstances. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 3:48Speaker 1: It is the biggest trick that the enemy has is
- 3:54Speaker 1: making us think we ain't gonna make it, to water
- 4:00Speaker 1: down the illusion that there's a possibility that you might
- 4:05Speaker 1: still have a chance to get old. The biggest trick
- 4:10Speaker 1: he uses is when you make a mistake and you fall,
- 4:13Speaker 1: He gets you to start to thinking it's final, that
- 4:17Speaker 1: there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there is
- 4:21Speaker 1: no recovery. He just makes you think it's final. He
- 4:26Speaker 1: is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 4:31Speaker 1: I don't care what besets you befalls you, trips you up.
- 4:36Speaker 1: What circumstantial situations may arise, don't you dare dare ever
- 4:41Speaker 1: give up? Because listen to me, these are tests that
- 4:47Speaker 1: you are going through. And these tests, whether you pass
- 4:51Speaker 1: the test or appears that you failed the test, the
- 4:56Speaker 1: test accomplishes the mission if you're smart about it. If
- 5:01Speaker 1: you pass the test. Let's say you're going through a
- 5:05Speaker 1: situation and you get over and it goes the way
- 5:08Speaker 1: you want it to do, then what you've learned is
- 5:11Speaker 1: if you hang in there, there's a light at the
- 5:15Speaker 1: end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished. If you fail
- 5:21Speaker 1: the test and it doesn't go the way you want it,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and it goes the opposite and it turns out into
- 5:28Speaker 1: a negative result, and in response you were looking for
- 5:31Speaker 1: is a no. That's not final. That doesn't mean it's over,
- 5:39Speaker 1: that doesn't mean it's time to turn back. It simply
- 5:42Speaker 1: means that now you have learned a valuable experience, You
- 5:49Speaker 1: have learned a valuable lesson. You now know what not
- 5:54Speaker 1: to do. You are now, because you know what not
- 5:58Speaker 1: to do, another step closer to getting it right. Listen
- 6:04Speaker 1: to me, it has to happen this way. You have
- 6:08Speaker 1: to have the rain in your life to get the
- 6:12Speaker 1: flowers in your life. You got to have the darkness
- 6:16Speaker 1: in your life to appreciate the sunshine in your life.
- 6:21Speaker 1: You got to have woes and worries to appreciate the joys.
- 6:27Speaker 1: It is merely a test. So when you get through failing,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and you get through stumbling, and you get through messing
- 6:37Speaker 1: it up, all that's getting you one step closer to
- 6:42Speaker 1: getting it right. Oh, my relationship ended. I'll never be
- 6:46Speaker 1: able to find another person like that. Not only will
- 6:50Speaker 1: you not be able will not only will you be
- 6:52Speaker 1: able to find a person like that, you can find
- 6:56Speaker 1: a person that far better than that if you don't
- 7:01Speaker 1: give up. But see, sometimes you got to go through
- 7:04Speaker 1: the bad ones to get to the good ones. Don't
- 7:08Speaker 1: you dare dare ever give up? I don't care what
- 7:12Speaker 1: happens to you if you lose a love one. And
- 7:15Speaker 1: Lord knows, I've lost some people I've loved dearly with
- 7:21Speaker 1: every inch in me. I've lost my mother, my father,
- 7:26Speaker 1: my brother, and my best friend. I don't know. I
- 7:31Speaker 1: know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man, I
- 7:35Speaker 1: can't even imagine that, but they kept on going. What
- 7:41Speaker 1: you're giving up for Oh, I got you miss them,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and I got you grieving, but I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 1: for you because somebody else ain't still here. It was
- 7:54Speaker 1: their time. Now. I'm not trying to lessen to blow
- 7:57Speaker 1: for you, but I'm trying to get you up on
- 7:58Speaker 1: your feet so you can stop all this old woe
- 8:02Speaker 1: is me because the things is happening to you. You're
- 8:04Speaker 1: not the first person that's happened to Come on, now,
- 8:07Speaker 1: let's get a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 8:14Speaker 1: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 8:16Speaker 1: commercial breaks on Family Feud the other day and somebody
- 8:19Speaker 1: asked me something and I forgot the question, but my
- 8:23Speaker 1: answer was, I've always wanted my mother and father to
- 8:26Speaker 1: be proud of me, and in that absence and their demise,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm hoping, just somehow man, that they watching me, that
- 8:36Speaker 1: they see their boy, that I'm down here, that I'm
- 8:39Speaker 1: doing better, that I'm making something about myself, that I'm
- 8:43Speaker 1: loving my wife, that I'm taking care of my kids.
- 8:47Speaker 1: To at my old man to see that about me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You know, I want my mother to see I'm trying
- 8:52Speaker 1: to get my life together over here, you know, saying
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to be a better person. My mom was
- 8:57Speaker 1: a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She'd been praying
- 9:00Speaker 1: for me for a long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and that's all I'm doing. It's just hoping that they
- 9:06Speaker 1: see me so they can't be proud of me. See you,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you you, you you. You got to understand that when
- 9:14Speaker 1: you make these mistakes, that when you fall and stumble
- 9:18Speaker 1: and you get it all so wrong, it ain't over
- 9:21Speaker 1: for you. Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up?
- 9:25Speaker 1: Don't stop thinking, man, because it ain't happening just the
- 9:28Speaker 1: way you wanted to that. It ain't meant to be devil.
- 9:31Speaker 1: He got so many tricks to deceive you. You know
- 9:34Speaker 1: why you're being tested right now because there is no
- 9:38Speaker 1: testimony without the test. You got to go through something.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It's all good man telling you. I just wanted to
- 9:46Speaker 1: share that with you. Don't you give up out there.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I don't care what's happening. Don't don't, don't don't get deceived.
- 9:52Speaker 1: The victory's coming, but you ain't gonna get it if
- 9:55Speaker 1: you quit hang on, y'all, you're listening to. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: here we are to Steve Harvey Morning Show is live again.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. Get ready and prepare yourself to have
- 10:10Speaker 1: a blessed date. Live your life today in expectation that
- 10:15Speaker 1: God is going to do something for you today, as
- 10:17Speaker 1: he already has seeing this, how you've awaken. Okay, so
- 10:22Speaker 1: now that that is accomplished, that's a great, big thank
- 10:27Speaker 1: you Lord right down. So now let's just expect him
- 10:30Speaker 1: to do some other things for us. Live your life
- 10:33Speaker 1: in expectation and in watchful anticipation on what that God
- 10:38Speaker 1: we serve can do for you. That's how I live
- 10:41Speaker 1: my life. I suggest you try that. It's a wonderful
- 10:44Speaker 1: way to live because something usually always happens when you
- 10:48Speaker 1: proclaim it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Make no mistake about it. Hum huh. You know I'm
- 10:59Speaker 1: talking about Shelly Stawberry. Hey, good morning, Steve. I feel
- 11:04Speaker 1: like it's to say too. Colin Fret, you sounding good?
- 11:08Speaker 1: What's up? Boss man? Pimper ain't easy, but somebody you
- 11:12Speaker 1: got to do it. Speaking of pimper, here's the voice
- 11:16Speaker 1: that could have better pimp ladies. Jentleman Junior morning up.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Yeah your voice back you stroone now? Yeah yeah yeah Tommy,
- 11:28Speaker 1: tom big dogging dog in the fielding baby stairs Yo,
- 11:33Speaker 1: yeah yo, Yes, folks. We often had this conversation off
- 11:39Speaker 1: air on this morning show because, according to Tommy and
- 11:45Speaker 1: a couple of the Morning show people that I won't
- 11:47Speaker 1: mention have oftentimes questioned the route that I took to
- 11:54Speaker 1: have the achievements that I have based on the limited
- 12:00Speaker 1: limited tech skills and actual grasp of the English language technology,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and so lack of grasp of the English language spelling
- 12:14Speaker 1: and tech savviness has caused them to doubt and question
- 12:21Speaker 1: how I got Hell yeah, it's just it's it's just
- 12:27Speaker 1: you know, the age wonder of the worldly. Tell me
- 12:33Speaker 1: because like, okay, I'll tell you. I'll tell you what
- 12:36Speaker 1: started one day. You know how you'd be writing and
- 12:38Speaker 1: you'd be texting and you get stuck on a little
- 12:40Speaker 1: simple word. The word was no. I was cool and
- 12:47Speaker 1: not just saying hey man. Just we was off the
- 12:49Speaker 1: on commercial break and I said, hey man, how you
- 12:52Speaker 1: spell words? And you know that at that that little
- 12:57Speaker 1: reaction from the peanut gallery. Wait, so Tommy said, what
- 13:04Speaker 1: route did you take? How the hell you make it?
- 13:10Speaker 1: We're sitting up here here here a leader, and he
- 13:12Speaker 1: can't spell a word great letter the other word you
- 13:16Speaker 1: couldn't spell, you, ma'am. Yeah, yeah, still struggle with that, ma'am.
- 13:23Speaker 1: He'll kind of trick it out. You gotta admit. All right,
- 13:27Speaker 1: we come back. I'm gonna tell you how I did
- 13:29Speaker 1: it if you want to. And Steve and in something funny.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Eddie Laverte, we gotta talk about this. He's your boy
- 13:35Speaker 1: from Cleveland. Eddie Laverte is mad at us. When I
- 13:38Speaker 1: say us, I mean black people. We'll talk about it
- 13:41Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour. Right after this,
- 13:44Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Morning Show. We're gonna tell you
- 13:48Speaker 1: why Eddie Laverte is mad at black people. But first Steve,
- 13:51Speaker 1: you wanted to finish up with Yeah, he's mad. I'll
- 13:53Speaker 1: tell you about it. Hang on, want to hear that
- 13:56Speaker 1: first Steve wanted to finish schooling his nephew. Well, you know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: you know, we the team and Tommy led by Tommy
- 14:04Speaker 1: of course, has always wondered how I made it with
- 14:08Speaker 1: my limited command of verbal skills, my spelling, and my
- 14:13Speaker 1: lack of being tech savvy, you know, like I can't
- 14:17Speaker 1: even get my emails updated and anything, and I couldn't spell.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Was one day I just got stump. You know, I
- 14:24Speaker 1: know it's wa wa asked what you know? Well, I
- 14:31Speaker 1: was gonna spell it w uzy, so you know, I mean,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you know, I had a couple of you know, moments
- 14:38Speaker 1: like that, and so, Tommy, I just wanted to let
- 14:41Speaker 1: you and everybody know you often say to me, what
- 14:46Speaker 1: route did you take? Yeah? I don't know. Yeah, So
- 14:52Speaker 1: here it is. Here's the secret, tom Tommy and everybody else.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I focused so sharply and keenly on the thing that
- 15:04Speaker 1: I knew I was good at. I wrote these damn jokes.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I studied these jokes. I memorize these jokes. I dreamed
- 15:17Speaker 1: about these jokes. I talked to myself about these jokes.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I walked up in gas stations with these jokes, bob
- 15:26Speaker 1: shots with these jokes. I just had a tunnel vision
- 15:30Speaker 1: with these jokes. Now that limited my love for education,
- 15:38Speaker 1: you know, tech savvus, spelling, current events, you know, yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 1: how to fix your car, you know, I knew how
- 15:54Speaker 1: to change ears all that. But I just focused on
- 15:57Speaker 1: that one thing and that focus made me keenly sharp,
- 16:01Speaker 1: and I became an expert in the field of comedy
- 16:05Speaker 1: and that's what I focus on, and it made me
- 16:07Speaker 1: lack in a lot of other areas. But that fine
- 16:11Speaker 1: tune laser beam focused into that one area caused me
- 16:16Speaker 1: to become an expert at it, which caused me to
- 16:19Speaker 1: get paid for my expertise. And then I hide people
- 16:22Speaker 1: who could spell. Yeah, yeah, what's y right there? And
- 16:28Speaker 1: that's my key. Just focus on the thing, get good
- 16:30Speaker 1: and what you're good at, become an expert at it,
- 16:34Speaker 1: get paid for the surround yourself with the callers and
- 16:37Speaker 1: she isn't stuff like that because you know, I'm not
- 16:41Speaker 1: fit to do what they do. Caller organized this show.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm not fit to do that. I'm coming to work,
- 16:49Speaker 1: not sitting them typing out no formal I don't give it.
- 16:51Speaker 1: Damn what y'all say on the next break, let's make
- 16:54Speaker 1: up stuff. Oh god, that's it'll be four hours winning it.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Like Carlin went out and got this story to Shirley Finney.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Do not about Eddie, Now, see what, I don't know
- 17:10Speaker 1: nothing about Eddie saying he made black people. But I've
- 17:13Speaker 1: been mad at him too, so I'm anxious to see
- 17:15Speaker 1: what Eddie mad about. All right, well, sure, both of
- 17:18Speaker 1: you guys are from Cleveland. Eddie. This was during his
- 17:21Speaker 1: acceptance speech at Black Enterprises Black Man Excel. It's an
- 17:25Speaker 1: annual four day summit. It recognizes and empowers men of color. Okay, wow, yeah,
- 17:30Speaker 1: So the legend that is Eddie Lavert, lead singer of
- 17:33Speaker 1: the OJS. We all know and love him. He is
- 17:35Speaker 1: a family member. Here on the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 17:38Speaker 1: he gave a harsh critique of the chicken lovers standing
- 17:40Speaker 1: in those long lines hum for a bite of Popeye's
- 17:45Speaker 1: chicken sandwich. Okay, Eddie said, it's just not about me
- 17:48Speaker 1: and the popularity and the records and all of that.
- 17:51Speaker 1: This is about my people. And that's what I want
- 17:54Speaker 1: to convey to the younger people, that this is not
- 17:57Speaker 1: just about you and the bling and the cards. This
- 18:00Speaker 1: is about our culture and about what we need to
- 18:03Speaker 1: represent our people and how we need to represent our people,
- 18:08Speaker 1: he said. You know, he claimed that those We got
- 18:11Speaker 1: a little audio of that too. I think, all right,
- 18:14Speaker 1: let's hear it. Let's hear it's a little about our
- 18:16Speaker 1: culture and about what we need to represent our people
- 18:20Speaker 1: and how we need to represent our people, and I
- 18:23Speaker 1: really wish they would show it by not trying to
- 18:26Speaker 1: buy that Popeyed Chicken sandwich. It would be a different
- 18:31Speaker 1: thing if they own the franchise. I can understand it,
- 18:37Speaker 1: if we were going to make money from that and
- 18:40Speaker 1: it was going to benefit our culture. But you're making
- 18:44Speaker 1: you're making mockery of who we are, all right, all right? Ownership, Yeah, entrepreneurial.
- 18:54Speaker 1: What's what's wrong? Steve huff Yeah, because she once again,
- 18:58Speaker 1: I get it, but see, you know, it kind of
- 19:02Speaker 1: takes me back to this sermon that I saw recently,
- 19:07Speaker 1: a Bishop Jake Steward called intentionality, and it was weird
- 19:12Speaker 1: what he said. I mean, it wasn't weird. It was
- 19:13Speaker 1: great what he said because he explained a lot of
- 19:15Speaker 1: how I feel. People judge you your actions, God judges
- 19:21Speaker 1: your intent. Now, somebody can take what Eddie said, put
- 19:25Speaker 1: it in a thirty second sound bite and make it
- 19:28Speaker 1: sound wrong when clearly, if you are a level headed,
- 19:31Speaker 1: thinking person, what he said made perfectly good sense. Yeah.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You know, now I'm gonna agree with what Eddie said,
- 19:40Speaker 1: But watch somebody put that on social media and it's
- 19:44Speaker 1: gonna be you know, Steve Harvey Madden, people standing in
- 19:47Speaker 1: line for Popeyes and get chicken. I don't give it.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Damn what you do? Well, Steven, you know it is
- 19:52Speaker 1: getting ridiculous. And this story is out of Houston where
- 19:55Speaker 1: one man went as far as to pull a gun
- 19:58Speaker 1: out on one of the Popeyes and Boyees in Houston.
- 20:01Speaker 1: This happened on Monday. Yeah, the sandwich. They ran out
- 20:06Speaker 1: of chicken. I mean, this man could have lost his
- 20:08Speaker 1: life over a chicken sandwich. You know. Listen, man, Eddie's right,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and I don't see I don't I haven't seen one
- 20:15Speaker 1: single line yet. Let me just say that, so I
- 20:18Speaker 1: don't know who in the line. I'm assuming Max and
- 20:23Speaker 1: whites in the line. Yeah, but if we stood in
- 20:26Speaker 1: line to vote like we're standing in line for this, amen,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you know, we could change the needle on some things.
- 20:35Speaker 1: We have to reshape our focus, man, and start focusing
- 20:39Speaker 1: on the focusing on the things that's important and relevant
- 20:42Speaker 1: to us. And that's what we got to do, because
- 20:44Speaker 1: standing in line for a chicken sandwich ain't got nothing
- 20:47Speaker 1: to do with who we are as a people. That's right,
- 20:50Speaker 1: all right, yeah, thank you, thank you? All right, Nephew
- 20:54Speaker 1: Tommy up next, with run that prank back right after this.
- 20:58Speaker 1: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 21:02Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you. But
- 21:05Speaker 1: right now the nephew is in the building. We'll run
- 21:08Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got, nephew. Oh, you're ruthering
- 21:11Speaker 1: for some football. It's tailgating time. It's tail gating time.
- 21:17Speaker 1: We are on our way to Tonight is the opening
- 21:21Speaker 1: night of football. That's what timmy. I ain't been excited
- 21:25Speaker 1: about a football season starting in a long time. Come on, Cleveland.
- 21:30Speaker 1: But this goes out to all the tailgators across the country.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Y'all got to be careful because y'all get a little
- 21:36Speaker 1: y'all get a little while sometime when you tell gate.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Y'all know you do, so you know. But I got
- 21:40Speaker 1: one prank phone call for you. It's called tailgators head
- 21:43Speaker 1: in hell. Man, I'll speak to t Rock speaking. Is
- 21:47Speaker 1: this t Rock? Yeah? What's up? Hey man? Let me
- 21:50Speaker 1: ask you something. All last year y'all was tailgating here
- 21:54Speaker 1: in the parking lot at the apartments. Are y'all doing
- 21:57Speaker 1: that again this year? Yeah? Always, that's what we do.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Hey man, Hey, listen, man, I just live here about
- 22:02Speaker 1: a year ago. Let me tell you something. All that
- 22:05Speaker 1: noise don't be making down there. Man, don't need to
- 22:07Speaker 1: go to the county to get you'all some money the game. Man,
- 22:11Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 22:13Speaker 1: First of all, I don't know who you walk. My
- 22:15Speaker 1: thing is, Hey, we we would do out of here, man,
- 22:17Speaker 1: we all get together, brother, go to work. Man at
- 22:20Speaker 1: the end off we want to. We want to get
- 22:21Speaker 1: together and throw a little barbecue whatever. That's what we do.

- 39:48Speaker 1: Eagles offensive line. US women's soccer player Kelly O'Hara. I
- 39:53Speaker 1: don't know. I'm Stevens quiet. He's gonna say something. He's
- 39:56Speaker 1: just waiting. I know that. Kelly O'Hara w NBA st

- 40:07Speaker 1: said that he is most proud of his AB and
- 40:09Speaker 1: he is a vegan. Now so are we? Uh, I'm
- 40:14Speaker 1: going to try that. We're most proud of his abs. Well,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I'm going to try that vegan, you know, Like I said,
- 40:20Speaker 1: you know, one of my goals is to uh to
- 40:24Speaker 1: what is to be in this magazine one time? Just

- 41:08Speaker 1: he got where he dribbling that real high dribble looked
- 41:11Speaker 1: like he damned it fitting the bowl the ball. Yeah, yeah,
- 41:14Speaker 1: that's gonna be a problem too, because if I bend
- 41:18Speaker 1: over that fall, They're gonna have to him snap the
- 41:21Speaker 1: picture before I throw up. God, if I do that
- 41:26Speaker 1: pose right there where I'm stretched out and I'm trying
- 41:29Speaker 1: to squat like that, they got to help him click
- 41:32Speaker 1: because I'm got so throw up. So okay, so Steve,

- 42:23Speaker 1: everybody was looking down and he wasn't the only one
- 42:26Speaker 1: couldn't see his instep. It was some dudes that couldn't
- 42:30Speaker 1: see their shoes period. You know, I could at least
- 42:33Speaker 1: see my toes, but it was some dudes that couldn't
- 42:39Speaker 1: even see their shoes. I asked you one brother, I say, man,
- 42:42Speaker 1: what color socks you got on? I don't know? You know,

- 51:26Speaker 1: I can't believe it. Hey, man, I gotta ask you
- 51:29Speaker 1: bad one more thing. What is what is the baddest
- 51:32Speaker 1: I'm talking about the baddest radio show in the land,
- 51:35Speaker 1: The Steve Harvey Show. Y'all played practical jokes on folks. Man, Okay,
- 51:45Speaker 1: pay for anyone, no, thank you. I want to talk
- 51:48Speaker 1: about no, no, really, it never went in there and
- 51:52Speaker 1: then went there just forgot to look, ain't I'm the
- 51:54Speaker 1: only one. Yeah, now you ain't okay, you ain't ever

- 52:05Speaker 1: you got to call whom you can if ain't nobody

- 52:29Speaker 1: all right, turd of like it is. Baby, Let me
- 52:33Speaker 1: put this out there. I know that when you're dealing

- 53:33Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're gonna
- 53:35Speaker 1: read this one right here, right now. Okay, cool, we
- 53:39Speaker 1: should do Nicked Radio twenty nineteen. All right, buckle up,
- 53:43Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you. Here it
- 53:44Speaker 1: is subject He took it out at the dinner table.
- 53:50Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, my friend hooked me up with a
- 53:53Speaker 1: great guy. And before I met him, we had great
- 53:56Speaker 1: conversation and he seemed to be a cool guy. He
- 53:59Speaker 1: sent me a picture of himself and I sent him
- 54:01Speaker 1: a picture too. He had a beautiful smile, and I
- 54:05Speaker 1: commented that he had perfect teeth. He told me that
- 54:08Speaker 1: he had false teeth. I asked him why he chose
- 54:11Speaker 1: false teeth over implant, and he said that implants were
- 54:14Speaker 1: too expensive. It was no biggie, so we continued to
- 54:18Speaker 1: get to know each other. After two weeks, we went
- 54:21Speaker 1: out on our first date to a very nice restaurant
- 54:25Speaker 1: for dinner. I was so glad to finally meet him.
- 54:28Speaker 1: We ordered our food and started eating, and the conversation
- 54:32Speaker 1: was so good that I didn't realize he had taken
- 54:36Speaker 1: his entire top row of teeth out. He saw how
- 54:41Speaker 1: I was looking at him, and he said, see, you
- 54:43Speaker 1: can't even tell when I take my teeth out. I
- 54:46Speaker 1: looked the same. Wait, there's more. I was at a
- 54:51Speaker 1: loss for words. His teeth were in a container beside
- 54:55Speaker 1: his plate, and he was just eating and talking like
- 54:58Speaker 1: all of this was okay. I had lost my appetite.
- 55:03Speaker 1: I know being single can be lonely, but there is
- 55:06Speaker 1: no way I can be seen with this bald mouth man.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I do not have a problem at all
- 55:12Speaker 1: with false teeth, but you can't just take them out
- 55:15Speaker 1: on the first date and not let me know first
- 55:18Speaker 1: After the date. After the date, I called the friend
- 55:21Speaker 1: that set us up and told her that his teeth
- 55:24Speaker 1: were a deal breaker, oh and his lack of table manners.
- 55:28Speaker 1: She said that I was being bugie and I have
- 55:31Speaker 1: to be more open minded and willing to work with
- 55:33Speaker 1: some men to turn them into the ideal man. I
- 55:36Speaker 1: beg to differ. But maybe I'm being too insensitive. Maybe
- 55:40Speaker 1: I'm being insensitive. What do you think? Hey, listen, miss Bougie.
- 55:45Speaker 1: I'm with you all day. Okay, manners are important, hygiene
- 55:49Speaker 1: is important. And taking your teeth teeth out at the
- 55:52Speaker 1: dinner table, it's very unhygienic. It's unacceptable, okay. I mean,
- 55:57Speaker 1: it's one thing to have dentures, but leave them in
- 56:01Speaker 1: your mouth. How about that? Take them out at home
- 56:03Speaker 1: at night and put them in the container and then
- 56:06Speaker 1: put that container on the nightstand like normal people do
- 56:09Speaker 1: who have denters and false teeth. I don't agree with
- 56:13Speaker 1: your friend about you being bushy. It's okay to like
- 56:15Speaker 1: what you like and not like the fact that he
- 56:18Speaker 1: had dentures and took him out at the dinner table.
- 56:20Speaker 1: That's ridiculous, and sat him in a container next to
- 56:23Speaker 1: a plate at a very nice restaurant. You're single here,
- 56:27Speaker 1: not desperate, Okay. And you don't have to settle no
- 56:30Speaker 1: matter what your friend says. All right, Steve, that's it
- 56:36Speaker 1: for me. Well, very good answer, Shirley. I agree with
- 56:40Speaker 1: everything you said, but let me go at it from
- 56:42Speaker 1: this hill right here. Went out on a date with
- 56:45Speaker 1: this man you've been talking in y'all center pitch, and
- 56:48Speaker 1: you told a man, boy, you got you got some
- 56:50Speaker 1: pretty your teeth. Look, you got a beautiful smile, and
- 56:54Speaker 1: you got perfect teeth. Then he, right off the dribble,
- 56:58Speaker 1: told you he had false teeth. I asked him why
- 57:02Speaker 1: he chose false teeth over implants. He said the implants
- 57:06Speaker 1: was too expensive. All right, let's stop this letter right here.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Let's go back over because I need some things that
- 57:12Speaker 1: y'all need to see what I saw. Okay, he sent
- 57:15Speaker 1: you a picture of himself. You said he had a
- 57:18Speaker 1: beautiful smile. I commented that he had perfect teeth. For
- 57:23Speaker 1: no damn reason at all, he told me he had
- 57:27Speaker 1: false teeth. How old is this man here where he
- 57:32Speaker 1: cooled with this hill? Maybe you got some perfect teeth.
- 57:36Speaker 1: These ain't my teeth, These ain't mind thee false teeth,
- 57:43Speaker 1: So I already No, we're talking about an older couple
- 57:47Speaker 1: here This ain't no too forty year olds at dinner.
- 57:52Speaker 1: So I asked him why he chose false teeth over implants.
- 57:55Speaker 1: He said the implants was too expressive. We're talking about
- 57:59Speaker 1: a cheap as man here. Now, there's a lot of
- 58:03Speaker 1: things you can save money on your damn teeth, ain't
- 58:07Speaker 1: one of them. Spend some money on your damn mouth. Now,
- 58:14Speaker 1: if you want to go to Walmart and get you
- 58:16Speaker 1: them tank tops, where when you put it on, the
- 58:19Speaker 1: armhole be down to your belt. That's cool. I've often
- 58:23Speaker 1: wondered where doing people get them tops from? Them's Walmart
- 58:27Speaker 1: tank tops. So I don't care how big your ass is,
- 58:31Speaker 1: you can put this tank top on. It's gonna thick. Yeah,
- 58:35Speaker 1: that ain't the Nike tank top. That's the Walmart tank top.
- 58:40Speaker 1: That armhole, I don't care, hi what size you are.
- 58:44Speaker 1: This tank top fill. That's where you save money at.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You want to go to the grocery store and you
- 58:48Speaker 1: don't want to buy del mighty green beans. I got
- 58:51Speaker 1: you buy j neic green beans. They still green beans.
- 58:55Speaker 1: The labeless white and the brightness black. All this says
- 58:58Speaker 1: green beans. I got that. You don't save money on
- 59:03Speaker 1: your damned teeth. So y'all got to know each other.
- 59:06Speaker 1: After two weeks. You went out on the first date
- 59:09Speaker 1: to a nice restaurant. You finally met him. You ordered
- 59:12Speaker 1: your food, You start eating. Conversation was so good that
- 59:15Speaker 1: I didn't realize he had taken his entire top royal
- 59:18Speaker 1: teeth out. He saw how you was looking at him.
- 59:21Speaker 1: He said, See, you can't even tell when I take
- 59:24Speaker 1: my teeth out. I look at Say hold up, partner,
- 59:27Speaker 1: hold up, let me correct your ass. So something we
- 59:29Speaker 1: might not have seen when you tuck him out. We
- 59:33Speaker 1: didn't see you take him out, but we damn show
- 59:36Speaker 1: sitting here looking at you, trying to figure out where
- 59:39Speaker 1: the hell is your whole royal teeth. You can't take
- 59:42Speaker 1: sixteen teeth out, and don't nobody know it. We didn't
- 59:49Speaker 1: see you take him out, but damn it, we looked
- 59:52Speaker 1: at you now and you're now hell you talk about
- 59:55Speaker 1: you can't even tell? No, I didn't know. I didn't
- 59:58Speaker 1: see you take him out, partner. All right, hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty three after the hour. Subject
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: of today's letter. He took him out at the dinner table.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this you're listening
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: show all right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: letters subject. He took him out at the dinner table,
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: This man she hadn't met. They talking on the phone,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the exchange pictures. She saw the man smile and said,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: why you got perfect teeth right out the blue? No
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: damn reasoning at all, no need to confess this, he said,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: these false teeth. That makes me No, he already old
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: because he didn't see no problem with it. And then
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: she said, well, why did you choose false teeth over implants?
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: He said, because they too expensive? Okay, he cheat, he cheat.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: If you'll cut back money on your damn teeth. M lady,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: your ass is fitting to be wearing. Your first Christmas
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: gift is gonna be one of them wall mark tink,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I can promise you that, because his ass is cheap.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: So they finally go out to dinner after two weeks
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: that went on the first date. Nice restaurant, Glad to
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: finally meet the man. You ordered your food and you
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: start eating. The conversation was so good that I didn't
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: realize he had taken his entire top royal teeth fout.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Now he saw how I was looking at him, and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: he said, see, you can't even tell when I take
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: my teeth out. I looked at saying food. Listen to me.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: She didn't see you take the teeth out, but you
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: said in the latter right hill, He saw how I
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: was looking, because see, after you took much, she didn't
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: see you take him out, but somewhere in the conversation
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: she would just staying at your damn mom. And then
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you see, you can't even tell when I take my
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: teeth out. No, we can't tell when you take them out,
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: but we can tell that they out right. So now
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: she looking at you and you're talking about See you
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: can't even tell I took him out. Yeah, we can.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Why when you talking your top limp disappear where your
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: lip at? And what is you eating without the top roll? What?
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: What you damn plate? Help me? I don't even know
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: what you are a partner that you can eat without
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: that whole damn top roll. Now, what I want everybody
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: to do is, at one point today, take your top
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: limp and cover your front teeth with it. Now, put
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: something up your mouth and keep chewing, but keep your
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: top lip covering them teeth. You choke your ass today
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: you find to be swallowing food, so whole this man's
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: digestive track is shot because he ain't chewing up nothing.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: He's just swallowing food. Now I take. I looked at say,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: I was at a loss for words. His teeth was
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: in a container beside his plate, and he was just
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: eating and talking like everything was okay. I can't talk
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: to you, and half your damn mouth is in a
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: glass looking at me. I'm trying to figure out is
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: this a magic trick? Because h half your mouth in
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: a glass looking at me. Goodness, I don't know if
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: you'd never been over somebody's house and they had their
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: denches in the glass, but it looked like the teeth
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: is looking at you because they are, because the teeth
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: don't want to be in the glass. They want to
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: be in the mouth because that's why they be long.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Not know being single can be lonely, Yes it is, baby,
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: but there's no way I could be seen with this
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: bad mouth man, Stephen sher. I do not have a
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: problem at all with false teeth. Yes you do, Yes
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: you do. This whole damn letter is about false teeth
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: and you got a problem with them, So it's Okay,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: it's just you don't like false teeth. You got to
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: write the like what you like, right. Some men don't
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: like women with wigs. I don't give damn what you got.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: As long as you que I could care less. It's
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: men don't like fake nails. I like them. It's men
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: don't like our lashes. Please put them on. I like
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: all that extra blink blink, give me all that. I
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: do not have a problem with false teeth. But you
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: can't take them out on the first day. You can't
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: take them out with me ever, So damn first date,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: at no point is our dinner and you reach up
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: in your head pull a whole rower damn teeth found.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: They ain't got nothing to do with the first date.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: You can't ever take your damn teeth out your head
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: over set them down on the table. I don't give
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: a damn. You don't put them in glass. You can
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: wrap them up in your handkerchiefs and put them in
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: your top pocket. I don't want to know that they're
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: up down, Oh man, I don't give a damn. If
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: you know how to spend them teeth on your finger
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: like a basketball. I want to be sitting up in
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: here and latching your teeth go around in the show.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: But what about her friend, Steve, you got to speak
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: to her older. Wait a minute, I don't give a
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: damn if you take your teeth off and set them
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: in the champagne bucket. But I can't see it. But
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: when the waiter come over there and pour another glass
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: after the date, I called the friend to set us
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: up and told her his teeth was a deal breaker.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Oh and his lack of table man. She said, I
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: was being bullshyy. Ain't nobody bullsh you right? This ain't

- 1:07:59Speaker 1: they accused used him of working on behalf of the
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Ukrainian government. What did I get that by a former
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: White House counsel not guilty? Can we say the same
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: for all of the administrations that we got right now
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: working with the Russian? Sorry? Okay, sorry, I show that
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: out there. Back to our regular scheduled discussion. I hear

- 1:08:27Speaker 1: that what it is is being body issue too? Well?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: You know I look at them too, only because they
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: ain't got the body I got. So I'm not in it.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I'm very upset. I could have got at least three
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: folk pages a pullout for the stomach. At least I
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: get the pullout for the stomach if I'm gonna be
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: bucket naked like what. I didn't get the three page
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: pull out with it back. Okay, Now look here I

- 1:09:45Speaker 1: You're listening string show, all right, tell me let's go.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Let's get it. Let's get it. Che is here It
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: is called a farol with what reality update? All right?
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Thank you that for you. Okay, guys, we're gonna tie
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: about Real Housewives or Potomac. I'm gonna switch it up
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: to the Real Housewives, all right. So Robin Dixon, she
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: invited the women to the Cayman Islands. And we've all
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: been there the Cayman Islands, right right right. We've been
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: there on vacation as well or working vacation. Anyway, Robin
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: was late as usual, that girl always I'm talking Sherley.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: She can't getting nowhere on time. She missed the flight.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: How are you hosting the trip but you're not flying
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: down there with the ladies anyway, Monique, she couldn't travel
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: because at the time she was eight months pregnant, so
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: you know, the doctor told her that she couldn't travel.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: So anyway, you know my girl, Gazelle, Candice, Ashley, caring, Katie,
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: all of them. They got there, Robin arrived later, they
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: kicked in. They did some Cayman Island excursions, petting, sting
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: rays in the ocean, horseman riding in the ocean. Okay, yeah,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: they were a little it was a black girl version.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: They were scared. And then Ashley she went at it
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and told Katie that she didn't think she was mentally
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: strong enough to be in the group. Who are you
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: to tell somebody that? So that was kind of that
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: was very very mean. But anyway, Ashley was kind of
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: getting back at Katie because Katie said Ashley was stupid.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: So they have it. So anyway, according to Giselle, she said,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you know, kind of pull up. Katie is going through
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: some custody battles. Anyway, Robin told her girl, Gizelle, that
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: she was there wrong for causing drama at her open house.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: You know, she has an investment property with her mom,
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: and Gizelle walked in the reception of the open house
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: starting drama with Monique. So she told her she was wrong,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: called Gizelle out on it. Gizelle apologized. Anyway, Katie wasn't
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: feeling it. She wasn't feeling the vibe on the trip.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: She wasn't feeling well. My girl left. She just left
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: the Cayman Islands. Didn't tell any of them that she
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: was leaving. They were worried. The ladies were worried. They
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: were thinking about doing missing person's report security production. They
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: found her at the airport. She left anyway, Karen and Ashley,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: they all kicked it, along with Robbing and Candace. They
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: started drinking shots, and you know how it goes, Steve
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: when these girls go on a trip, and they started
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: taking shots and drinking right fike Ye got back to
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: the hotel and Karen just basically went in and told
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Ashley that she did not believe that Ashley's husband Michael
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: was not guilty of those sexual assault charges on the cameraman.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Remember Michael was accused of groping a cameraman during production
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: when they were filming at Monique's house that Rainbow baby
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: shower at the party. Anyway, Ashley reminded Karen that her
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: husband Michael was clear of any wrong during doing in
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: a court of law. Karen's point was that sexual assault.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: What she was a sexual assault victim back in college,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: and it's hard to prove for the victims. So she
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: wasn't really convinced that ashley husband Michael was so innocent.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: So it was drama. It was screaming in Holland at
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: the hotel at the Cayman Islands, Junior. Remember when we
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: all went to the restaurant. Monica was with us in
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: the Cayman the Islands and we saw the physician. They
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: went to that restaurant, so we knew it very well.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: So I was like, hey, we went there. Yeah, So
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: that's Real Housewives of Atomac. So we're gonna talk about
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: the season finale coming up, and didn't you know, it's
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: time for the reunion show. And also let me give
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: a shout out before we run out of time. Real
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Housewives of New York star Bethany Bethany Frankel, she has

- 1:14:44Speaker 1: caused a string of seizures a few years back. He says,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: when you combine that with drinking, the other drugs he
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: was doing, and a lack of sleep, it wasn't enough
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: to kill someone. He said he had been staying up
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: for hours upon hours, you know, just trying to work
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: and hustle and make it in everything, and his body
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: just shut down. He couldn't take it anymore. But of
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: course since then, he's made some major lifestyle changes, including
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: cutting out the sodas, drinking way more water, eating more veggies,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and getting more sleep. And it shows, you know, he's
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: lost a ton of weight and he looks good and great.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Is his shirt open? Well? You know? Yeah? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: hey man, Rink gonna have his shirt off. Me and
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: rick Ross gonna do the Sports Illustrated next year together. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: it's being body issue. I love. Oh. Me and Ricky
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Ross were going in together. You know they've been doing
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: all these athletes. Me and my boy Ricky Rose. Yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: we're friend to come out and do it together. Non
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: athletic bodies version. It was me Ricky Rose, earthquake. Say yeah,
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: all right, Canny asked Chris Rock. All right, we gotta
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: go more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. This ignorant show,
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: more fun, more music coming up at thirty three minutes
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening Morning Show,
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: all right to Steve. When we left off, you were saying,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: who you were all gonna get to do the non
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: athletic body issue for ESPN next year. Hell yeah, you
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: know they're doing all these athletes and everything. You know,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: all they made. You know, they did the offensive line.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: You know, these people ain't got no like tremendous body.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: So I say less expanded and since Ricky Rose, well,
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: I'm a huge fan of somebody sitting the shout out
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: to rick Ross with the gold cigars or just like
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: big Boss gout, you know, sitting a shout out to
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Ricky Rose that I think me and Ricky Rose ought
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: to do the neked issue damn self next year. Called
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Ricky ain't got no problem taking his shirt off right
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: now as ease I'm talking about and the keyword ass
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: eas But give me the rest of the lineup though,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna start feeling that way. I'm gonna do it
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: with my neck it. I'm gonna have my boy sad entertaining.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: He gonna come necking. You know, Anthony Anderson think he
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: cute now because he'd lost faux damn pounds, so you
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: know he think he's cute. But Anthony Anderson still kind
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: of a little fat boy. I'm gonna throw that out
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: there because he always talking about me. Uh, I think
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: a couple of other people. We're gonna have skin ass
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Chris Rock because you know, we're gonna have somebody standing
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: next to me to look mald Nerrish and then we're
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: gonna trip everybody out. I'm gonna have Chapelle take his
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: damn clothes off, and then I'm gonna do a comedy
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: special on Chappell. Okay. Then after we do that, we
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: gonna look at a couple others. I know my boy,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: he ain't gonna have no problem doing it. Jan Anthony
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Brown will get right. But I'm gonna have him wear
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: the same boots that some Morrow woll shurt. Yeah, he
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: gonna take that h And then I'm gonna ask a
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: Cleveland fellow, Cleveland to Betty White to do it. I
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: think Betty White will go with me on that. I
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: got one for you, dog, and uh go ahead. Al
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Rucker Broker, Sorry, well, the only problem is Al Roker
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: kind of think he que he kind of like you, Tommy.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: He's delusion. So you know, I tell those some things
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: I was thinking about doing next year, and then we
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: do a radio addition of it too, and called it
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: the famous Fat Folks of Radio. And y'all can start
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: submitting Your fat folks are radio from around the country.
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: Oh we're on there. Hello, So nine have you have
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: you ever seen your favorite radio personality? And when you
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: saw him, you went, damn all right, we gotta go.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: Steve coming up. Uh, well, we'll end the show our
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: last break of the day and some closing remarks from you.
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: At forty nine minutes after the hour, right after this,
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: you're listening to show. All right, here we are Steve,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: our last break of the day. It's been a good day,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: real good day. Thursday. Yeah, I want to I want
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: to say this about the whole Kevin Hart incident. Okay, Uh,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Kevin is a family member of hours. He is. He
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: is a megastar at this point. He is one of
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: only a hand full of megastars who will come on
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: this radio show and sit here for four hours because
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: not only to promote, but he just loves people. It
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: is in this tragedy that has happened, it's amazing to
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: spend that people are trying to put on this story.
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: You know, everybody always wants to make something out of it.
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: That is not He probably switched seats he was he
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: was with who was the girl? You know what, man,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: instead of like the majority of us are doing, praying
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: for his recovery. This is a serious accident. You saw this.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: It's by the grace of God that these three people
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: are alive. And where where we should be as people,
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: as just you know, people who get it, uh that
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: we should be in constant prayer that these people do
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: really well. Did they get back to normal lives and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: fully healthy. There's always a rush. There seems to be
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: a rush nowadays for controversy to get eyeballs on your page,
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: to to bring somebody down. It is amazing, man, how
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: we take so much time to destroy somebody when these
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: are the very same people that we cheered for on
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: their way up, that we rooted for for them to
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: get there, that we were so prouder than once they
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: get there. What is the rush to judgment to knock
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: them down? I don't I don't understand this, man. I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: think that we've got to take a long look at this.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: And you know, oftentimes I say that love is stronger
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: than hate, but hate is louder than love. And what
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I mean by that is very simple. The few people
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: that are hating that hatred is so vile that it
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: gets the headlines. It becomes the sensationalized juiciness of the
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: social media, and everybody starts commenting on this hateful take
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: or spin on what has happened, and it's so loud
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: that it gets actually gets traction. Now, people who love Kevin,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: people who love other celebrities, people who love you. All
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: you may hear from them is we're praying for you
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: hanging there, But ain't no blog gone right, We're praying
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: for you. That ain't no story. Were praying for you
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: hanging there, dog, That's not a story. The story is
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: Sensationalism is controversy, it's negativity. It's vile. And in this man,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: we have no caring for the fact that this man
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: got a family, that this man got a wife and
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: a child, and what's even more alarming, three children. Yeah.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: The amazing thing is how we're so quick to jump
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: on the bandwagon, like we live in these lives of
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: impeccable character and we are without reproach. Well we all are.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: You know, I've seen people say stuff like you know this.
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: You know if I did that as a parent, I
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: would consider myself a failure. Well, you gotta be careful.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: You have to be careful with that, because we've all
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: disappointed our parents. Ain't no perfect parents. I have, as
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: have any of you disappointed your parents times? Yes, I've
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: done some things my parents have looked upside in my head.
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: My daddy told me one time, you cannot be my son.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Oh you can't be. I mean, I've done things to
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: disappoint my son. So people look at other people's parenting
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: and start making judgments of how you fail. But you
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: got to be careful, man, because you know every everybody's
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: children is gonna have these moments, everybody. So why are
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: we so fast to rush to judgment with one another? Man?
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: People like Kevin Mann, who are have been nothing but
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: a great representative of our culture, a great representative of
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: what hard work can get you. Now, does Kevin have
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: a lot of grace and favor from God? Or you
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: better believe he does? Or you better believe he does.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: And surviving this accident was one of the great grace
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: and mercies of our Lord and Savior. You better believe
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: God was watching over him that day, and so as
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: the Lord's prayer exist and it says, give us this
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: day our daily bread, and forgive us our trust passes
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: as we forgive those who us pass against us. That's
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: a very very important line in the Lord's prayer because
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: it reminds us that as you go to God to
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: ask for forgiveness for your sins, your sort comings, your
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: trest passes, that He's gonna forgive you the same way
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: you've done it to other people's right. So we gotta
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: be mindful and ever conscious of the fact that when
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: people we love or we know fall or fall down,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: that we ain't the ones that's helping kick him for all.
