- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator,
- 0:05Speaker 2: it has been a crazy week in the world of politics,
- 0:08Speaker 2: between Super Tuesday, a crazy Say of the Union, and
- 0:12Speaker 2: now we've got a lot of other issues that are
- 0:14Speaker 2: affecting Americans.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Well, that's exactly right.
- 0:17Speaker 3: We got a lot to report on this week, starting
- 0:19Speaker 3: off with the amazing news that broke just a few
- 0:22Speaker 3: days ago that the Biden administration actually flew three hundred
- 0:28Speaker 3: and twenty thousand illegal immigrants into the United States. So
- 0:32Speaker 3: they're not passively sitting there responding to this invasion. They
- 0:36Speaker 3: are going out actively soliciting illegal immigrants, flying him into America.
- 0:42Speaker 3: We'll give you all the details. Beyond that, we've got
- 0:45Speaker 3: massive wildfires that are burning in the state of Texas
- 0:48Speaker 3: up in the Panhandle. I was there just a few
- 0:50Speaker 3: days ago. I'll give you the first hand report from
- 0:53Speaker 3: the ground. And finally, Joe Biden at the State of
- 0:57Speaker 3: the Union. This is actually an amazing story. Hot on
- 1:00Speaker 3: a hot mic, talking smack talking trash to Israel, talking
- 1:05Speaker 3: about how he's trying to bully the State of Israel.
- 1:09Speaker 3: The anti Israel animus in this administration is remarkable.
- 1:13Speaker 1: We'll walk through it.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that it certainly is, and that is something you
- 1:18Speaker 2: do not want to miss. I want to tell you
- 1:20Speaker 2: real quick though about our friends over at Patriot Mobile.
- 1:22Speaker 2: If you have a cell phone, it's time for you
- 1:26Speaker 2: to get rid of woke Big Mobile and switch to
- 1:29Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile. You may not realize it in this election year,
- 1:32Speaker 2: but Big Mobile is giving massive donations to Democratic candidates,
- 1:36Speaker 2: causes organizations, and also big donations to Plan Parenthood. That's right,
- 1:42Speaker 2: they're giving big donations to Plan Parenthood. If you're with
- 1:46Speaker 2: Big Mobile, stop giving them your money and make the
- 1:50Speaker 2: switch to Patriot Mobile. Patriot Mobile has been in business
- 1:53Speaker 2: now for more than a decade. And when I say
- 1:56Speaker 2: that you get the same exact coverage that you're used to,
- 1:58Speaker 2: you actually do. When I look at my phone in
- 2:01Speaker 2: the top left corner, it says Patriot and Patriot Mobile
- 2:03Speaker 2: gives me dependable nationwide coverage and giving me access to
- 2:07Speaker 2: all three major networks. Now that means I get the
- 2:09Speaker 2: coverage that I need without funding the woke agenda of
- 2:14Speaker 2: the left. Now, when you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're
- 2:16Speaker 2: sending a message because when you pay that bill, about
- 2:20Speaker 2: five percent of that bill every month goes back to
- 2:22Speaker 2: actually support conservative causes. That's their mission. At Patriot Mobile.
- 2:26Speaker 2: They get money to organizations that support free speech, religious freedom,
- 2:30Speaker 2: the sanctity of life, defending our Second Amendment, as well
- 2:34Speaker 2: as giving back to our military, our veterans, and our
- 2:36Speaker 2: wounded warriors. So make the switch. Go to Patriotmobile dot
- 2:41Speaker 2: com slash verdict. That's Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict, or

- 2:51Speaker 2: can keep your same cell phone number, keep your same
- 2:54Speaker 2: phone you have in your hand right now, or upgrade

- 2:58Speaker 2: nine to seven to Patriot. Get free activation when you
- 3:02Speaker 2: use the promo code verdict nine to seven to Patriot
- 3:06Speaker 2: or Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. Senator, I want to
- 3:09Speaker 2: talk about this issue, and it really did not get
- 3:12Speaker 2: a lot of media attention, and it absolutely should and
- 3:16Speaker 2: it's something that I hope vertic listeners will expose and
- 3:20Speaker 2: spread this everywhere on social media. The Biden administration has
- 3:24Speaker 2: flat out admitted now that they flew in three hundred
- 3:27Speaker 2: and twenty thousand illegal immigrants secretly into the us to
- 3:33Speaker 2: quote reduce the number of crossings at the southern border.
- 3:36Speaker 2: So we're importing illegal immigrants and they will not tell
- 3:40Speaker 2: us what cities they drop these illegal immigrants off in.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Well, Ben, every word you just said there is true.
- 3:49Speaker 3: And what's astonishing is number one, you can't learn any
- 3:52Speaker 3: of it listening to the corporate media. CNN won't report
- 3:55Speaker 3: on it, ABCNBCCBS, they won't report on it. But every
- 3:59Speaker 3: element of that is astonishing. So look, Joe Biden, the
- 4:03Speaker 3: administration likes to portray themselves as helpless victims. There was
- 4:07Speaker 3: just this massive influx of illegal immigration. They had nothing
- 4:11Speaker 3: to do with it. It was not their fault. They
- 4:13Speaker 3: were just innocent bystanders. Well, this story, it's not just
- 4:18Speaker 3: the ten point four million illegal immigrants that have crossed
- 4:23Speaker 3: illegally under Joe Biden that have been encountered at the
- 4:27Speaker 3: southern border, or that we know about their god aways.
- 4:30Speaker 3: The border patrols saw them, they spotted them, but they
- 4:33Speaker 3: got away. It's not just that. But just in the
- 4:36Speaker 3: last few days, it broke that the Biden administration flew
- 4:40Speaker 3: over three hundred and twenty thousand illegal immigrants secretly into
- 4:46Speaker 3: the US. And understand This is not flying them from
- 4:50Speaker 3: McCallan or Laredo or El Paso to somewhere else in
- 4:53Speaker 3: the US. This is flying them from foreign countries. So
- 4:57Speaker 3: the Biden administration is connect acting with illegal immigrants in
- 5:02Speaker 3: foreign countries, saying, Hey, you want to come illegally to America,
- 5:06Speaker 3: we will fly you. We will put you on a plane,
- 5:09Speaker 3: we will fly you illegally into this country. By the way,
- 5:12Speaker 3: they have an easy solution if they don't want to
- 5:14Speaker 3: do that, they could just say we're not going to
- 5:17Speaker 3: fly you. But they didn't do that. And then, amazingly,
- 5:21Speaker 3: when this story broke, the Biden administration's position is we're
- 5:24Speaker 3: not going to tell you what cities that we flew
- 5:28Speaker 3: these three hundred and twenty thousand illegal immigrants too, And
- 5:33Speaker 3: they're simply refusing to answer that question.
- 5:37Speaker 1: They said it was a security issue.
- 5:39Speaker 2: They said it was a security issue, and that's why,
- 5:41Speaker 2: which is the biggest load. I'm sorry a bs Ever, Yes,
- 5:44Speaker 2: I mean this is a cover up because they know
- 5:47Speaker 2: that local cities mayors will be probably furious if they
- 5:51Speaker 2: didn't know about this. This goes back to what we
- 5:54Speaker 2: saw with the federal government doing this in the middle
- 5:56Speaker 2: of the night. Remember when they were dropping off people
- 5:58Speaker 2: that came into America from Texas on airplanes, on buses
- 6:02Speaker 2: in the middle of the night in smaller cities without
- 6:05Speaker 2: notifying local authorities there.
- 6:07Speaker 1: This is corruption at a whole other level.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Yeah, and understand, the reason we know this is not
- 6:13Speaker 3: because the Biden administration told us. It's not because they
- 6:16Speaker 3: told the American people and said, hey, we're doing this,
- 6:19Speaker 3: we think this is important. What happened was they were sued.
- 6:22Speaker 3: They were sued under the Freedom of Information Act by
- 6:25Speaker 3: the Center for Immigration Studies, and in response to that lawsuit,
- 6:30Speaker 3: they released documents that showed that the Biden administration had
- 6:35Speaker 3: paid for secretive flights of hundreds of thousands of eligal
- 6:42Speaker 3: immigrants and they flew them into at least forty three
- 6:47Speaker 3: different American airports. And this is from January to December
- 6:50Speaker 3: twenty twenty three, so this is last year, three hundred
- 6:53Speaker 3: and twenty thousand illegal immigrants they flew into. And the
- 6:56Speaker 3: amazing thing is when asked what were the forty three
- 6:59Speaker 3: airport flew him into, they said, we can't tell you.
- 7:02Speaker 3: That would be a security risk. So every community, if
- 7:05Speaker 3: you're listening to this and you're in any city in
- 7:08Speaker 3: America you ought to be asking is my city one
- 7:12Speaker 3: of the forty three that Joe Biden and his apparatchicks
- 7:15Speaker 3: flew illegal immigrants into. They're not answering this, and they
- 7:19Speaker 3: used an app that So the Biden administration came out
- 7:23Speaker 3: with an app called the CVP one app, which lets
- 7:28Speaker 3: an illegal immigrant in a foreign country click on the
- 7:30Speaker 3: app and say, hey, I'd like to invade America. And
- 7:34Speaker 3: apparently Joe Biden said that's awesome. We'll fly you here
- 7:37Speaker 3: illegally and let you stay here. I mean it just
- 7:42Speaker 3: at this point, I'm literally at a loss for words.
- 7:46Speaker 1: When you look at this.
- 7:47Speaker 2: What oversight is there from Congress, from the Senate? How
- 7:52Speaker 2: can the federal government do this and not alert you
- 7:55Speaker 2: guys to it? A program that went for an entire year,
- 7:59Speaker 2: the last fiscal year that we know about, and three
- 8:02Speaker 2: hundred and twenty thousand, how do you hide that financially?
- 8:06Speaker 1: I mean, these are basically.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Charter flights, charter planes that are coming into the country.
- 8:11Speaker 2: How many flights does it take to bring three hundred
- 8:15Speaker 2: and twenty thousand plus illegal immigrants that you are? And
- 8:19Speaker 2: I want to say this word again because I think
- 8:20Speaker 2: that's the part that vertical listeners need to take.
- 8:22Speaker 1: A hold of.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Importing. They had not broken into America. We're importing. The
- 8:28Speaker 2: Biden administration was importing them into America's interior.
- 8:32Speaker 1: How much money was this? Do you know?
- 8:35Speaker 3: I have no idea, and it is it is incredible.
- 8:40Speaker 3: But you asked how many flights? Let me give you
- 8:43Speaker 3: an example. A Boeing seven thirty seven, one of the
- 8:46Speaker 3: most common commercial airliners in the world, seats between one
- 8:52Speaker 3: hundred and eight and two hundred and fifteen passengers, depending
- 8:56Speaker 3: on how it's set up. So three hundred and twenty
- 8:59Speaker 3: thousand thousand, that means you're looking at over a thousand flights,
- 9:05Speaker 3: and it may be as many as two thousand flights.
- 9:09Speaker 3: If they averaged one hundred and fifty passengers a flight,
- 9:12Speaker 3: then it is over two thousand flights that the Biden
- 9:15Speaker 3: administration booked. They did so secretly, They hid them, They
- 9:20Speaker 3: flew them into cities all over America, forty three cities,
- 9:25Speaker 3: and they didn't tell Congress, or if they told Congress,
- 9:27Speaker 3: they certainly didn't tell me. I don't know of anyone
- 9:30Speaker 3: in Congress who knew this. And their whole story is well, gosh,
- 9:34Speaker 3: what are we supposed to do when they come here illegally. Well,
- 9:37Speaker 3: here's a crazy idea. Don't charter them a private plane
- 9:42Speaker 3: to fly them illegally to America. I mean, it really is.
- 9:45Speaker 3: And by the way, the app I mentioned that they
- 9:48Speaker 3: used the CVP one app that is eligible for people
- 9:53Speaker 3: coming from Haiti, from Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala,
- 10:00Speaker 3: on Duras, Columbia, and Ecuador, and so three hundred and
- 10:03Speaker 3: twenty thousand additional illegal immigrants. And by the way, one
- 10:06Speaker 3: of those countries is Venezuela. I'll tell you a a
- 10:09Speaker 3: question I want to know, which is the illegal immigrant
- 10:13Speaker 3: who murdered Lake and Riley. Did the Biden administration actually
- 10:18Speaker 3: pay to charter a plane to fly him to America.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I don't know the answer to that, but the CBP
- 10:25Speaker 3: one app worked from Venezuela. He came from Venezuela, so
- 10:30Speaker 3: he could well be in this group. And you know what,
- 10:33Speaker 3: nobody in this White House is answering that question. Did
- 10:36Speaker 3: they literally charter flight into America the murderer that murdered
- 10:41Speaker 3: that twenty two year old young woman in Georgia.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Let's talk about the overall narrative here.
- 10:46Speaker 2: You and I have been talking about this on Verdict
- 10:49Speaker 2: for quite some time, and that is it is very
- 10:52Speaker 2: clear that this president and the Democratic Party, I say
- 10:55Speaker 2: it again, I think the Democratic Party is dead. I
- 10:57Speaker 2: think they're masquerading as communist socialists in Mark. They obviously
- 11:01Speaker 2: are trying to fundamentally change this country. We know that
- 11:04Speaker 2: they have said come as many of you as you can,
- 11:07Speaker 2: as fast as you can across our border. Any border state,
- 11:11Speaker 2: obviously Texas is affected. I would say the most by
- 11:14Speaker 2: this out of any state.
- 11:16Speaker 1: But this is.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Now on a level that I didn't even think was possible.
- 11:22Speaker 2: That it's not good enough just to open the border
- 11:24Speaker 2: to the fetanyl, open the border to the people that
- 11:26Speaker 2: are coming across, killing, opening the border to millions of
- 11:31Speaker 2: illegal immigrants center. This is now an orchestrated effort to
- 11:35Speaker 2: import illegal immigrants and a very expensive price tag. I mean,
- 11:41Speaker 2: my point is you're saying the twenty million that have
- 11:43Speaker 2: come across wasn't enough. You had to go spend primo
- 11:46Speaker 2: dollars to bring in another three hundred plus thousand, and
- 11:49Speaker 2: it is still happening right now.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Is the other question I have for you.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yeah, Look, we have no idea because they won't answer
- 11:56Speaker 3: those questions. They keep them secret from the American people.
- 12:00Speaker 3: But I got to say, I want to ask everyone
- 12:02Speaker 3: listening to this podcast, ask yourself a question before this
- 12:06Speaker 3: pod did you know about this? And if not, why?
- 12:12Speaker 3: How can you not be pissed that the six o'clock
- 12:17Speaker 3: News didn't lead with this? How can you not be
- 12:20Speaker 3: pissed that CNN won't cover this, That the Washington Post
- 12:23Speaker 3: won't cover this, that the New York Times won't cover this,
- 12:25Speaker 3: that whatever paper you read in whatever city you live
- 12:28Speaker 3: in won't cover this. This is a remarkable thing we're
- 12:33Speaker 3: looking at. If you assume an average of one hundred
- 12:36Speaker 3: and fifty passengers on a plane, we're looking at over
- 12:39Speaker 3: two thousand flights chartered by the Biden administration to fly
- 12:44Speaker 3: people into America illegally. That they want this to happen,
- 12:50Speaker 3: That there's no explanation that is consistent with this other
- 12:55Speaker 3: than they want this invasion and they want more. And
- 13:01Speaker 3: I got to say, to any reporter, and by the way,
- 13:03Speaker 3: it's an interesting thing. Quite a few reporters listened to
- 13:06Speaker 3: this podcast. To any reporter, if you're around any Democrat
- 13:11Speaker 3: senator and you actually care about journalism. There's a quiet
- 13:14Speaker 3: little voice somewhere buried deep in your heart that says, gosh,
- 13:19Speaker 3: I wish I could be a real journalist. I wish
- 13:21Speaker 3: I wasn't just a mouthpiece for the regime. You ought
- 13:25Speaker 3: to ask every Democrat senator you can find. You ought
- 13:28Speaker 3: to ask every Democrat House member you can find. Did
- 13:32Speaker 3: you know that the Biden administration flew three hundred and
- 13:37Speaker 3: twenty thousand illegal immigrants into America last year, that they
- 13:41Speaker 3: spent taxpayer funds to human traffic people. That's what they're doing.
- 13:46Speaker 3: They're saying, you want to come illegally to America, we
- 13:50Speaker 3: will charter a plane for you. And every reporter I
- 13:54Speaker 3: ought to ask every Democrat in Congress did you know?
- 13:57Speaker 3: And if you didn't know, how do you feel about that?
- 13:59Speaker 3: Is that a good idea? Every single Democrat ought to
- 14:03Speaker 3: go on record saying is it a good idea or not?
- 14:06Speaker 3: Because the Biden administration, by the way, we had a
- 14:09Speaker 3: State of the Union speech just a few days ago
- 14:12Speaker 3: last week. Amazingly Biden didn't say anything about it. He
- 14:16Speaker 3: could have said, I'm engaged in this great humanitarian rescue,
- 14:20Speaker 3: so I'm flying three hundred and twenty thousand people illegally
- 14:23Speaker 3: into this country and just letting him go. He didn't
- 14:25Speaker 3: say that because no one in their right mind would
- 14:29Speaker 3: admit to that, and that's exactly what they're doing.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Final question on this is, can you guys get the
- 14:36Speaker 2: number you think in Congress of how much money this
- 14:40Speaker 2: whole plan has cost the American taxpayers, because at the
- 14:44Speaker 2: bare minimum, we should know what these charter flights cost.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Or can they continue to refuse to answer that question
- 14:51Speaker 2: and just say, we're not going to tell you how
- 14:53Speaker 2: much money we're spending on this.
- 14:55Speaker 3: So we should be able to get those numbers. In
- 14:57Speaker 3: the Senate, we can ask for them. But when we
- 15:01Speaker 3: ask for them, the Biden administration's standard practice is basically
- 15:04Speaker 3: to say pound sand that they have a practice across
- 15:07Speaker 3: virtually every agency of refusing to cooperate with Congress. In
- 15:12Speaker 3: the House, they have the ability not only to ask
- 15:15Speaker 3: for these data, but to issue subpoenas they have a majority.
- 15:19Speaker 3: I can't issue a subpoena in the Senate because I
- 15:21Speaker 3: don't have a majority. So if I try to issue
- 15:23Speaker 3: a subpoena, the Democrats will vote no. You've got to
- 15:28Speaker 3: have a majority to have the votes to be able
- 15:29Speaker 3: to issue a subpoena, but the House has the majority,
- 15:32Speaker 3: and so I will say to my friends and colleagues
- 15:35Speaker 3: in the House, I hope they issue those subpoenas. I
- 15:37Speaker 3: hope they lay out the facts. That is incredibly valuable
- 15:42Speaker 3: and by the way, one of the amazing things. So
- 15:44Speaker 3: the House did the right thing. It impeached Alejandro Majorcas.
- 15:49Speaker 3: I got to say, I was astonished at the state
- 15:51Speaker 3: of the union. Mayorcas was sitting there on the floor
- 15:55Speaker 3: of the House. He was grinning ear to ear. He
- 15:58Speaker 3: looked happy, he looked confident. He was smirking the whole
- 16:02Speaker 3: time at the American people, saying, I am leading an
- 16:08Speaker 3: invasion of this country.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I understand.
- 16:09Speaker 3: It's not that may Orcis is incompetent, and it's not
- 16:13Speaker 3: even that he is lazy. It's that he wants this
- 16:17Speaker 3: invasion to happen. Joe Biden wants this invasion to happen,
- 16:21Speaker 3: and every elected Democrat wants this invasion to happen, no.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Doubt about it.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And it's going to be a campaign issue going into November.
- 16:29Speaker 2: I think everyone running should make it an issue. On
- 16:31Speaker 2: the Republican side, certainly Donald Trump will, but Americans should
- 16:35Speaker 2: be furious about this. I want to tell you about
- 16:37Speaker 2: our friends over Blackout Coffee real quick. I'm not kidding
- 16:40Speaker 2: when I say this. It's one fifty two in the

- 16:52Speaker 2: money to those woke coffee companies. You know the ones
- 16:56Speaker 2: I'm talking about. And that's why you need to know

- 18:06Speaker 1: Centata.
- 18:06Speaker 2: I also want to talk about what's happening with these wildfires.
- 18:09Speaker 2: It has not been getting I think the attention it deserves.
- 18:12Speaker 2: You've been down to see the wildfires that have exploded
- 18:15Speaker 2: in Texas. Give us an update, especially for everybody listening
- 18:20Speaker 2: in Texas, but also others in the country that may
- 18:23Speaker 2: have family and friends in Texas. What's happening with these
- 18:26Speaker 2: wildfires and they have really grown well.
- 18:29Speaker 3: The state of Texas is facing a massive natural disaster
- 18:32Speaker 3: right now, and you're right, the news has not been
- 18:35Speaker 3: covering it the way they should. The Panhandle, which is
- 18:38Speaker 3: the northern part of Texas, is on fire right now,
- 18:42Speaker 3: and the magnitude of these fires there's actually multiple fires.
- 18:45Speaker 3: But collectively, you look at all the fires in the Panhandle,
- 18:49Speaker 3: they comprise over one point two million acres of land.
- 18:56Speaker 3: That is a massive amount of land that is on
- 18:59Speaker 3: fire right now. And to put that in perspective, that
- 19:03Speaker 3: is the largest wildfire in the history of the state
- 19:07Speaker 3: of Texas, and it is the second largest wildfire in
- 19:11Speaker 3: the history of the United States of America. It is
- 19:14Speaker 3: burning right now. How big is one point two million acres. Well,
- 19:18Speaker 3: I'll give you one frame of reference. It is larger
- 19:22Speaker 3: than the state of Rhode Island. It is bigger than
- 19:25Speaker 3: a state. We have more than an entire state that
- 19:29Speaker 3: is on fire right now. Now. Last week on Monday,
- 19:33Speaker 3: I was up in the Panhandle. I flew up to
- 19:35Speaker 3: go there. I went to the town of Fritch. I
- 19:38Speaker 3: went to the town of Burger. I met with local officials,
- 19:42Speaker 3: with mayors, with county judges, with police chiefs, with fire chiefs.
- 19:46Speaker 3: I met with volunteers, with volunteers at churches and charities,
- 19:51Speaker 3: and I just said thank you, thank you for your heroism.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I met with families who had lost everything. The town
- 19:59Speaker 3: of Fritch that I was in, Fretch has a population
- 20:03Speaker 3: of just about eighteen hundred people in that very small,
- 20:08Speaker 3: very rural town. They estimated that as of last Monday,
- 20:13Speaker 3: as of a week ago, they had lost two hundred
- 20:16Speaker 3: and forty two homes in a town of eighteen hundred people.
- 20:21Speaker 3: I went and toward the rubble. I saw these homes
- 20:25Speaker 3: that were burnt to the ground, you know, as I
- 20:28Speaker 3: was walking along residential streets and seeing home after home
- 20:34Speaker 3: just burned, burned to ashes. It was astonishing. I went
- 20:38Speaker 3: to one home that there was a truck parked outside
- 20:42Speaker 3: that home. The home was entirely burned, The truck was incinerated.
- 20:47Speaker 3: The windshield had melted into pools of glass. I've never
- 20:52Speaker 3: seen melted glass of a windshield, and yet that truck
- 20:55Speaker 3: the heat was so intense. There was in front of
- 20:58Speaker 3: that same house there was a motorcycle looked like a Harley,
- 21:01Speaker 3: and the fire had consumed it. The tires were utterly disintegrated.
- 21:07Speaker 3: You could see the radio steel in the tires. That
- 21:11Speaker 3: was just all that remained. There was a bass boat
- 21:15Speaker 3: that was parked in the driveway that had been utterly
- 21:19Speaker 3: consumed with flames, and you just saw melted fiberglass that
- 21:24Speaker 3: had melted down.
- 21:26Speaker 1: So you had the boat.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Carrier which was still there because it was steel and
- 21:30Speaker 3: the melted fiberglass had just drifted dripped down. And I
- 21:35Speaker 3: got to say, I talked with families who had lost everything,
- 21:41Speaker 3: and I got to tell you Ben the fighting spirit.
- 21:46Speaker 3: When I talked to people who had lost everything, they said,
- 21:48Speaker 3: you know what, our families still alive, were grateful, will rebuild.
- 21:54Speaker 2: It's incredible. What is it that they need? And how
- 21:57Speaker 2: can people help it. Every time that something like this happens,
- 22:02Speaker 2: you see the people not just in Texas help their
- 22:06Speaker 2: fellow Texans, but other people, and especially I got to
- 22:09Speaker 2: say our audience, you guys are amazing. Y'all get involved,
- 22:14Speaker 2: whether it's helping people in Israel or people in Texas
- 22:18Speaker 2: right now.
- 22:18Speaker 1: But what are the needs and what can people do well?
- 22:22Speaker 1: Right now?
- 22:22Speaker 3: The most immediate need is saving people's lives. This disaster
- 22:26Speaker 3: is unfolding right now. We had several days ago we
- 22:30Speaker 3: had some cold weather. We had some snow and ice
- 22:33Speaker 3: that helped. Snow and ice is very good for slowing
- 22:36Speaker 3: down the spread of a fire. But unfortunately then the
- 22:40Speaker 3: weather got warmer and windier and that accelerated.
- 22:44Speaker 1: The spread of the fire.
- 22:45Speaker 3: There are firefighters who are fighting this fire right now,
- 22:49Speaker 3: and they are risking their lives. When I was up
- 22:52Speaker 3: there in the Panhandle, they had over sixty different fire
- 22:56Speaker 3: departments from all around Texas and from all around the
- 23:01Speaker 3: country who had sent firefighters. And I got to tell
- 23:04Speaker 3: you I met with the fire chief volunteer fire chief
- 23:10Speaker 3: in Fritch, little bitty town. His name was Zeb Smith,
- 23:16Speaker 3: and I met with him on Monday a week ago.
- 23:19Speaker 3: And Zeb is a great guy. He was fighting on
- 23:22Speaker 3: the ground, he was defending his city. I asked him
- 23:25Speaker 3: at the time, I said, listen, have any firefighters been injured?
- 23:29Speaker 3: And he said, thank God no. That was on Monday
- 23:33Speaker 3: of last week. Chief Smith died on.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Tuesday of last week.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Wow, less than twenty four hours after I stood with
- 23:44Speaker 3: him and asked, have any firefighters been injured? Chief Smith
- 23:49Speaker 3: ran the next day, on Tuesday of last week, he
- 23:52Speaker 3: ran into a burning home to fight the fire, and
- 23:57Speaker 3: he ended up being killed, giving his life in defense
- 24:01Speaker 3: of his community. So last week I stood on the
- 24:04Speaker 3: Senate floor, I gave a speech in honor of all
- 24:07Speaker 3: the people who have lost incredibly and in particular in
- 24:12Speaker 3: honor of Chief Smith. I got to say, I don't
- 24:15Speaker 3: think I've ever been with someone spoken with someone the
- 24:20Speaker 3: day before they lost their life heroically. That that that
- 24:23Speaker 3: is a first for me. And so I gave a
- 24:26Speaker 3: speech with a picture of Chief Smith next to me.
- 24:29Speaker 3: I had a flag flown over the over the US
- 24:31Speaker 3: capital in Chief Smith's honor. The first priority is stopping
- 24:37Speaker 3: these fires. And I will say if you're if you're
- 24:41Speaker 3: a listener of Verdict and you're in the Panhandle, or
- 24:45Speaker 3: you're in the Panhandle of Oklahoma, because it's spread into
- 24:48Speaker 3: Oklahoma as well, what I would say is listen to
- 24:52Speaker 3: your local officials, listen to emergency responders, and if they
- 24:56Speaker 3: give you an evacuation order, get out. Take this seriously.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Do not risk your family, do not risk your children,
- 25:05Speaker 3: do not risk your loved ones. In many ways, it
- 25:07Speaker 3: is miraculous with a fire as massive as this one,
- 25:12Speaker 3: that to date there have been just three people who
- 25:15Speaker 3: were killed. Now we grieve those three, but it would
- 25:19Speaker 3: have been very very easy to imagine dozens or even
- 25:23Speaker 3: hundreds of people killed. Yet two hundred and forty two
- 25:26Speaker 3: houses burned to the ground, and miraculously the residents of
- 25:30Speaker 3: those houses, most of them survived and escaped. And it
- 25:34Speaker 3: was interesting when I was talking to the local officials
- 25:39Speaker 3: I said, well, what's happened to the residents of all
- 25:41Speaker 3: those homes? And the county judge told me said, listen,
- 25:45Speaker 3: we stood up a shelter in a local church. She said,
- 25:50Speaker 3: at this point, we have fewer than a half dozen
- 25:52Speaker 3: people there. That everyone who lived in those two hundred
- 25:55Speaker 3: and forty two houses, almost all of them are with
- 25:58Speaker 3: friends and family. And what you said Ben a minute
- 26:02Speaker 3: ago is really important to know, which is Look, Texas
- 26:06Speaker 3: is a big state. It's a big state. I've been
- 26:09Speaker 3: senator for twelve years. Part of the job is being
- 26:12Speaker 3: on the ground when you see Texans hurting, when you
- 26:17Speaker 3: see a natural disaster, I've seen a lot of them.
- 26:19Speaker 3: I've seen hurricanes, I've seen tornadoes, I've seen explosions. I've
- 26:23Speaker 3: seen fires like this fire one hundred percent of the time,
- 26:28Speaker 3: without fail, when there's a disaster, when people are suffering,
- 26:32Speaker 3: when they're hurting, it is also incredibly inspirational. I am
- 26:38Speaker 3: never more proud to be a Texan than when we
- 26:41Speaker 3: are facing a disaster and I see the courage that
- 26:46Speaker 3: Texans show. Inevitably, Texans step up and they help their
- 26:50Speaker 3: fellow Texans. And by the way, you know what Hurricane
- 26:53Speaker 3: Harvey happened, which is the second most costly natural disaster
- 26:57Speaker 3: in US history. When that happened, in large chunks of
- 27:01Speaker 3: the Gulf Coast were underwater. My hometown, your town that
- 27:06Speaker 3: you live in, Houston, much of Houston was underwater. And
- 27:10Speaker 3: you had thousands of people that jumped in boats, bass
- 27:14Speaker 3: boats and went and rescued their neighbors. And they went
- 27:18Speaker 3: into their homes because there was five six, seven, eight
- 27:21Speaker 3: ten feet of water covering the roads and they just
- 27:24Speaker 3: get in their boat, they go pull people out of
- 27:25Speaker 3: harms way, they'd rescue them. And it was it was
- 27:30Speaker 3: rednecks and bass boats. It was incredible. And by the way,
- 27:34Speaker 3: when they rescued someone, nobody asked what party are you?
- 27:39Speaker 3: Are you a Republican or Democrat? Nobody asked your race,
- 27:43Speaker 3: nobody asked your ethnicity, nobody asked your religion. It was
- 27:47Speaker 3: just Texans helping Texans. And that I saw that in
- 27:54Speaker 3: the Panhandle on Monday last week, that in the face
- 27:59Speaker 3: of tragedy, people are stepping forward. You ask how can
- 28:02Speaker 3: you help? The Red Crosses on the ground, the Salvation
- 28:05Speaker 3: Army is on the ground, churches and charities are helping.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I went and thanked lots of volunteers who were just
- 28:11Speaker 3: providing food and diapers and clothing, and just to people
- 28:15Speaker 3: who lost everything.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Get involved, that's the number one thing, and help however
- 28:20Speaker 2: you can. And the tragedy there, as you mentioned, with
- 28:24Speaker 2: the men and women that are risking their lives to
- 28:26Speaker 2: fight this fire and save their neighbor and their family
- 28:28Speaker 2: and their friends' homes, it's truly incredible. And I hope
- 28:31Speaker 2: they get this fire under control, and I hope that
- 28:33Speaker 2: there's lots of rain for this area that can help
- 28:36Speaker 2: them make these fires not spread so quickly.
- 28:38Speaker 1: There will keep you.
- 28:39Speaker 2: Updated on it, but I know that's an important update
- 28:42Speaker 2: that we need to have, especially for the people in Texas.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Santa.
- 28:48Speaker 3: I want to also hold on before we finish this,
- 28:53Speaker 3: I want to tell you like a personal aspect of this.
- 28:56Speaker 4: So.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I have a good friend of mine who lives up
- 28:58Speaker 3: in the Panhandle town in the Panhandle called Canadian, and
- 29:03Speaker 3: I shot her a text on Monday and it was
- 29:06Speaker 3: just I just said, hey, how are you doing? Was
- 29:09Speaker 3: your home affected by the fires? And I set them
- 29:11Speaker 3: up in the Panhandle today and I'm thinking about you
- 29:14Speaker 3: and praying for you and I had no idea that
- 29:17Speaker 3: she had experienced anything. Here was her response, She said,
- 29:21Speaker 3: thanks reassuring to hear from you. Lost my home and
- 29:29Speaker 3: barns and half my cows, like fifty of my closest friends.
- 29:38Speaker 3: My losses are on the low end compared to the
- 29:41Speaker 3: thousands and thousands of animals dead and injured among just
- 29:47Speaker 3: two to three ranches here. Love to you and yours.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Pray for rain, Pray for the cows and the ranchers
- 29:53Speaker 3: who loved them. So think about this. She's sitting there.
- 29:57Speaker 3: I didn't know that she was in harm's way. She
- 30:00Speaker 3: lost her home, she lost her barn, she lost half
- 30:06Speaker 3: of her cattle. And her reaction is she feels grateful
- 30:09Speaker 3: because the ranchers on either side of her lost all
- 30:13Speaker 3: of their cattle. And that you want to talk about
- 30:17Speaker 3: the frontier spirit of the Panhandle of tough and hearty
- 30:22Speaker 3: Texans that embodies it. And by the way, she followed
- 30:26Speaker 3: up with me and and and said today she said,
- 30:30Speaker 3: here's two bright spots in my life. A new baby
- 30:34Speaker 3: cow Phoenix or fife for short. We're feeding because mama
- 30:42Speaker 3: cow cannot because of burned utters. So understand, these are
- 30:47Speaker 3: ranchers raising cattle, and and there's mama cow. Her utters
- 30:51Speaker 3: are burned. She can't feed the calf, and so they're
- 30:55Speaker 3: feeding the baby cow, but they're celebrating. And then my
- 30:58Speaker 3: friend also said, and there's some old spurs she found
- 31:02Speaker 3: in her house, the house that had burned down, that
- 31:05Speaker 3: my great grandfather gave to my dad when he was
- 31:09Speaker 3: seven years old. My sister and I both wore them
- 31:13Speaker 3: till we figured out the story in the age. I mean,
- 31:17Speaker 3: how amazing that she sent me pictures both of this
- 31:19Speaker 3: this baby calf and of these spurs. The house had
- 31:24Speaker 3: burned down, but the spurs survived. And I got to say, look,
- 31:29Speaker 3: that's the spirit of Texans and it is inspiring.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Unbelievable story there, Senator. And like I said earlier, anyone
- 31:37Speaker 2: that can help help the people in Texas right now,
- 31:40Speaker 2: it's so vitally important those affected by these wildfires, with
- 31:42Speaker 2: all the groups that are on the ground there. I
- 31:45Speaker 2: want to tell you about our friends over blackout coffee

- 31:56Speaker 2: And I do not want to give my money to
- 31:58Speaker 2: those woke car coffee companies, you know the ones I'm
- 32:01Speaker 2: talking about, And that's why you need to know about
- 32:04Speaker 2: Blackout Coffee. Blackout Coffee is how I start my day

- 33:12Speaker 2: want to move on to one other issue real quick,
- 33:14Speaker 2: and that is uh. We found out what Joe Biden
- 33:18Speaker 2: was saying as he decided to hang out on the
- 33:20Speaker 2: floor of the house for I don't know about an
- 33:22Speaker 2: hour after the State of the Union. He was caught
- 33:24Speaker 2: on a hot mic and his staff was just I
- 33:28Speaker 2: mean closing their eyes, shaking their heads.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 33:33Speaker 2: When Joe Biden was talking about what's going on in
- 33:37Speaker 2: Israel and a conversation that he had with net and Yahoo.
- 33:41Speaker 2: Take a listen to this caught on a hot miclver
- 33:52Speaker 2: and mistress is one.
- 33:53Speaker 4: Of the figs. Great, tell your.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Secretary and short.
- 34:05Speaker 3: This weekend, you've got to keep pushing without the humanitarian
- 34:10Speaker 3: stuff and all the cheff.
- 34:12Speaker 4: So I told him that was good.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Senator.
- 34:27Speaker 2: You can hear Joe Biden there and for people that
- 34:31Speaker 2: maybe had a hard time hearing exactly what he said,
- 34:34Speaker 2: give a little bit of a play by play here
- 34:37Speaker 2: of what he was saying. And this is a present
- 34:39Speaker 2: that's basically saying, oh yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna take
- 34:41Speaker 2: my hand off of Israel.
- 34:43Speaker 3: So the quote if he had a hard time hearing it,
- 34:46Speaker 3: but the hot mic picked it up. He said, quote,
- 34:49Speaker 3: I told him, Bibie, and don't repeat this, but you
- 34:53Speaker 3: and I are going to have a come to Jesus meeting.
- 34:57Speaker 3: And so he's bragging to a fellow Democrat about how
- 35:03Speaker 3: he was threatening the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin N.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Yaho's nickname is Bibie. But number one, let me just say, look,
- 35:13Speaker 3: you and I are both Southern Baptists. We both believe
- 35:16Speaker 3: Jesus is our savior. But I gotta say just saying
- 35:21Speaker 3: to the Jewish Prime Minister of Israel, We're going to
- 35:23Speaker 3: have a come to Jesus meeting as a way to
- 35:26Speaker 3: like beat the hell out of him. If a Republican
- 35:29Speaker 3: had said that, the media would lose their minds.
- 35:32Speaker 1: Yeah, Like they're insensitive on so many different levels.
- 35:36Speaker 3: That there is an offensive condescension. And understand what he
- 35:41Speaker 3: means the come to Jesus meeting. What he means is
- 35:44Speaker 3: you stupid ISRAELI stop killing Hamas terrorists. That's what he's saying.
- 35:51Speaker 3: We're going to force you. As a response, to October seventh,
- 35:57Speaker 3: to allow the Hamas terrorists to murdered twelve hundred Israelis,
- 36:03Speaker 3: twelve hundred Jews who kidnapped Americans, who murdered Americans. We're
- 36:07Speaker 3: going to force you to allow them to create their
- 36:10Speaker 3: own state where they can engage in acts of terror
- 36:13Speaker 3: like this, over and over and over again. It is
- 36:18Speaker 3: the anti israel animus in this administration and in sadly
- 36:24Speaker 3: today's Democrat Party. I've never seen anything like it. It
- 36:28Speaker 3: keeps getting worse, and this shows this is how Biden
- 36:32Speaker 3: talks behind closed doors. I'm gonna beat up these damned
- 36:37Speaker 3: Israelis like that. That's just terrific.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Well, and it's shocking, but it's also goes hand in
- 36:45Speaker 2: hand with him basically pandering to the extreme laugh that
- 36:48Speaker 2: is all about Hamas and supporting the terrorists, and the
- 36:52Speaker 2: Palestinian protesters that are supporting these terrorists who butchered children,
- 36:57Speaker 2: who took hostage eighty year old women, grandmothers, and and
- 37:02Speaker 2: put babies in ovens to burn them for sport. You
- 37:07Speaker 2: also have a president during the State of the Union
- 37:09Speaker 2: to appease them, said hey, We're going to order the
- 37:13Speaker 2: US military to construct a port in Gaza to increase
- 37:17Speaker 2: the aid flowed flow there.
- 37:19Speaker 3: He actively By the way, by the way, you know
- 37:22Speaker 3: words that Joe Biden didn't say. He didn't say, we
- 37:25Speaker 3: will utterly and completely destroy Hamas. He didn't say, as
- 37:30Speaker 3: Israel defends itself, we have your back, we are with
- 37:34Speaker 3: you. You are right, we must destroy hamas we stand together.
- 37:39Speaker 3: That's what a real American president would say. That's what
- 37:42Speaker 3: an American president defending America, defending our allies, would say.
- 37:46Speaker 3: But instead today's Democrat Party, the cultural Marxist, the radical leftists,
- 37:53Speaker 3: if they see a battle between Jews and Palestinians, they
- 37:58Speaker 3: define Jews the oppressors. They define Palestinians as the victims.
- 38:04Speaker 3: And any cultural Marxist he supports the violent revolution of
- 38:09Speaker 3: the victims against the oppressors. And so the consequence, what
- 38:14Speaker 3: is Joe Biden bragging about when he thinks he's in private, Well,
- 38:17Speaker 3: we just got this hot mic here. He's bragging that
- 38:20Speaker 3: he's he's berating the Prime Minister of Israel. And mind you,
- 38:25Speaker 3: at a time when the prime minister is defending his
- 38:28Speaker 3: nation at war after a massive attack, the worst mass
- 38:35Speaker 3: murder murder of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust,
- 38:39Speaker 3: and what is Biden doing attacking Israel.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Well and building this peer. The question I have for
- 38:46Speaker 2: you is does this put American troops in harm's way?
- 38:50Speaker 2: Because that's the question that everybody should be asking this president.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Let's be clear, about one hundred and eighty six American
- 38:57Speaker 2: troops have been injured or killed in attacks on you
- 39:00Speaker 2: US personnel in the Middle East since mid October when
- 39:03Speaker 2: the attack by the Hamas terrace happened on Israel. And
- 39:08Speaker 2: of those, one hundred and thirty have been traumatic brain injuries. Yet,
- 39:13Speaker 2: and that's been confirmed by the Pentagon this week on Monday.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Yet you have a present that acts like building this
- 39:19Speaker 2: pier is no big deal at all.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Well, look, I think that's right. And the thing to
- 39:25Speaker 3: understand is is today's Democrat Party listen. Biden has an
- 39:29Speaker 3: open revolt within his State Department, within his White House
- 39:34Speaker 3: because Today's Democrat Party, particularly the young people, they are
- 39:39Speaker 3: active sympathizers of Hamas. Mind you, the Biden administration has
- 39:44Speaker 3: given hundreds of millions of dollars to Gaza that went
- 39:47Speaker 3: straight to Hamas. Mind you, the Biden administration has flowed
- 39:50Speaker 3: one hundred billion dollars to Iran which is the principal
- 39:55Speaker 3: funder for Hamas and for Hesbola and all of that
