- 1:24Speaker 5: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 6: I got to turn the mouth turn. You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 6: to turn the mouth.
- 1:46Speaker 3: The mony.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 7: Come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 3: to the voice I said, come on now, dig me
- 2:08Speaker 3: to one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, Now,
- 2:14Speaker 3: I'm gonna be really honest with you this morning. I
- 2:17Speaker 3: really don't know what to say. I really don't. I
- 2:25Speaker 3: was sitting here and I was thinking, what do I
- 2:28Speaker 3: say today. I do know that I want to be encouraging,
- 2:35Speaker 3: uplifting and inspirational in some way to affect somebody today. Oftentimes,
- 2:42Speaker 3: these conversations that I have in the mornings, they're designed
- 2:47Speaker 3: with me because I needed myself, y'all, to be honest
- 2:52Speaker 3: with you. I mean, you know who makes the comedian laugh?
- 2:58Speaker 3: I used to say all the time, And even though
- 3:02Speaker 3: what we talk about in the morning is not a
- 3:04Speaker 3: laughing matter, it kind of like is where I am today?
- 3:09Speaker 3: You know, I need motivation in my life sometimes myself.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I think when I get in moments like this, I
- 3:18Speaker 3: often resort back to the same thing over and over
- 3:23Speaker 3: and over. And when I find myself in certain predicaments,
- 3:30Speaker 3: I can always fall back on the same thing over
- 3:32Speaker 3: and over. So while I'm sitting here trying to figure
- 3:36Speaker 3: out what to say to you, the one thing that
- 3:40Speaker 3: I did do this morning that I find to be
- 3:43Speaker 3: very consistent in me is that I find myself grateful.
- 3:48Speaker 3: I'm ever grateful for the things that God has done
- 3:53Speaker 3: for me. I may not always know what to say,
- 3:57Speaker 3: but I know how to say thank you do. I
- 4:01Speaker 3: know how to remember and reflect back on where I
- 4:04Speaker 3: come from. I know how to realize where all my
- 4:10Speaker 3: blessings come from. I'm very very conscious of my journey
- 4:17Speaker 3: that I've been on, the one that was from then
- 4:21Speaker 3: until now, that journey right there is it's been. It's been.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It's been. It's been difficult, man, it really really has.
- 4:31Speaker 3: I ain't gonna lie to you.
- 4:34Speaker 8: Me.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Becoming successful was very difficult. But as hard as this
- 4:43Speaker 3: is to say, I really really mean this. I wouldn't
- 4:48Speaker 3: change nothing about the trip I've been on. Number one,
- 4:54Speaker 3: because I can't change anything about it, so I never
- 4:59Speaker 3: lived life and regret. But the main thing is was
- 5:04Speaker 3: I discovered along the way now, not doing the process
- 5:10Speaker 3: when you're going through rough moments that you can't hardly
- 5:12Speaker 3: see the good in it at the time. It's just
- 5:15Speaker 3: rough for you and it seems unexplainable, and oftentimes I
- 5:19Speaker 3: thought it was unfair. But as I am now, I
- 5:24Speaker 3: needed every single thing that happened to me, that happened
- 5:28Speaker 3: to me to happen to me. I hope that makes
- 5:34Speaker 3: sense to you. I needed everything to happen in the
- 5:38Speaker 3: exact order and the exact way that it happened in
- 5:43Speaker 3: order for me to be the person that I've become.
- 5:48Speaker 3: And that right there, man, is just very comforting to me.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Mister Jakes told me one time, he said, the closer
- 5:57Speaker 3: you get to God, the more friendly you all become,
- 6:02Speaker 3: the more He will reveal to you the how it
- 6:08Speaker 3: comes and what falls of a lot of things that's
- 6:10Speaker 3: happened to you. Because a lot of times what troubles
- 6:13Speaker 3: us is we just can't understand why we lost that
- 6:16Speaker 3: love one back then. We just can't understand why we
- 6:20Speaker 3: didn't get what we wanted back then. We just don't
- 6:24Speaker 3: understand how come our plan didn't work out and we
- 6:28Speaker 3: had to fail so miserably. Back then, we don't understand
- 6:32Speaker 3: the answers to these things. Well, the closer I've gotten
- 6:36Speaker 3: to God, the more those explanations have become crystal clear
- 6:39Speaker 3: to me. And See, the one thing that I came
- 6:43Speaker 3: to the realization everybody is that the things that was
- 6:46Speaker 3: happening to me, they weren't really all bad. They really
- 6:51Speaker 3: wasn't that they didn't taste good. When it was happening,
- 6:54Speaker 3: I didn't enjoy what I was going through. But as
- 6:57Speaker 3: I look back on them and reflect now, it wasn't
- 6:59Speaker 3: all bad. Some of those things were so necessary for
- 7:02Speaker 3: me to get the information because see, I don't know
- 7:04Speaker 3: about you, but I'm kind of hard headed and stubborn.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I said, I don't know about you, but I'm kind
- 7:11Speaker 3: of hard headed and stubborn. I kind of like to
- 7:14Speaker 3: think that I know something about some things every now
- 7:19Speaker 3: and then, and the things I am convinced about. I
- 7:23Speaker 3: don't really really care for people trying to talk me
- 7:26Speaker 3: off mine. So I can be stubborn and hard headed.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Sometimes God knows that about me. So I think to
- 7:34Speaker 3: get some of the messages crystal clear through to me
- 7:36Speaker 3: that I needed to learn. That was this process I
- 7:39Speaker 3: had to go through. That process was my journey. It
- 7:42Speaker 3: was my trip. It was my woe, my pain. See,
- 7:46Speaker 3: everybody got them different, It don't matter what it is.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Everybody got a woe, everybody got a pain, everybody got
- 7:52Speaker 3: a trial, everybody got some tribulations, everybody got some challenge.
- 7:56Speaker 3: I don't care who you are due quit looking at
- 7:58Speaker 3: me thinking that I got a going on, so tough man.
- 8:01Speaker 3: But if Steve, yeah, it's easy for you to say that,
- 8:04Speaker 3: but you ain't here. You don't know where. Ben, if
- 8:08Speaker 3: you would stop hanging yourself up on your past, worrying
- 8:12Speaker 3: about your woes and your troubles and the situation you in,
- 8:16Speaker 3: and start praying and start asking God to get you
- 8:20Speaker 3: through it. See a lot of times you messed it.
- 8:22Speaker 3: You messed the message up yourself, because when you're going
- 8:25Speaker 3: through some stuff, you ask God to remove it and
- 8:28Speaker 3: take it away. That ain't the lesson. You got to
- 8:30Speaker 3: learn your lesson sometimes it's got to be how to
- 8:34Speaker 3: be strong, how to see it through, how to bear
- 8:39Speaker 3: under it, how to carry that weight long distances for
- 8:43Speaker 3: long periods of time. That's how you get strong. The
- 8:47Speaker 3: lesson is to make you stronger. But to make you stronger,
- 8:50Speaker 3: you got to carry the weight. You can't get stronger
- 8:52Speaker 3: you don't go to gym or you're gonna do something
- 8:55Speaker 3: at your house to lift your own body weight. See,
- 8:58Speaker 3: a lot of people can't even do push ups. They
- 9:03Speaker 3: can't get down, and in the course of a day,
- 9:05Speaker 3: give you one hundred push ups because they ain't. They
- 9:08Speaker 3: ain't never tried it. They boy it. They get to
- 9:11Speaker 3: twenty and they shake it so bad they stop. That's
- 9:14Speaker 3: too much for me. Well, let me tell you something.
- 9:16Speaker 3: So I learned to quit praying to take stuff away.
- 9:19Speaker 3: My prayer became to give me the strength to handle it.
- 9:22Speaker 3: People oftentimes ask me, how do you do all that
- 9:24Speaker 3: you do in the course of the day. I don't
- 9:27Speaker 3: really know. I just know I can because I know
- 9:32Speaker 3: God don't put more on you than you can bath.
- 9:35Speaker 3: So when you ask me how you do all of
- 9:37Speaker 3: what you do in the course of the day, I
- 9:39Speaker 3: got God. God is good. He'll get you through whatever
- 9:44Speaker 3: it is you're going through. So when you trip it
- 9:45Speaker 3: and you don't know what to say, reflect and be
- 9:50Speaker 3: grateful for all you reflect on. Think about God's goodness
- 9:54Speaker 3: and watch what he do for you. That's the cold part,
- 9:57Speaker 3: Okaystening show, Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the Riode. This
- 10:04Speaker 3: is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thank you, Lord God

- 12:34Speaker 3: to a SPA in another state like he been living
- 12:36Speaker 3: in Atlanta. She gonna drive to South Carolina. Ya, boy,
- 12:45Speaker 3: that gift took a turn for cheap so fast. But Junior,
- 12:49Speaker 3: that'd be nice. What else you think about getting out

- 12:54Speaker 1: But a SPA is always good, Junior.

- 13:35Speaker 10: She always coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour.

- 15:01Speaker 8: court and what I wanted to do? You know? Uh
- 15:05Speaker 8: see me in every apartment I've always had. I've always
- 15:08Speaker 8: lived in apartment three sixteen, and I know you in
- 15:12Speaker 8: three sixteen, so they you know, the girl at the
- 15:15Speaker 8: office gaming, you know, because I don't want to move
- 15:17Speaker 8: nowhere else where. I can't be in room three sixteen.
- 15:20Speaker 8: I gotta be. You know. It's just real superstitious, I know,
- 15:22Speaker 8: but I kind of got to have a party.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Hold on god, you say your name Vaughn?
- 15:26Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I'm gone right Vaughn.
- 15:28Speaker 5: And who gave you my number?
- 15:29Speaker 4: Again?
- 15:30Speaker 8: One of the ladies at the least in office when
- 15:32Speaker 8: I was over there?
- 15:33Speaker 7: Who was it?
- 15:34Speaker 8: I can't really remember her name? Man.
- 15:36Speaker 5: Uh little well listen cut to and I'm gonna tell
- 15:41Speaker 5: you like this, man, I don't comment you for nothing
- 15:43Speaker 5: like that.
- 15:43Speaker 8: Man.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Now, I ain't moving out of my apartment. Man, I've
- 15:45Speaker 5: been staying there for four years. When I moved out
- 15:48Speaker 5: of the apartment, I moved in the house. You understand
- 15:51Speaker 5: all this got going with your which is which? Whatever
- 15:54Speaker 5: it is? You're three sixteen, you won three two.
- 15:57Speaker 8: That's on you. Man, it ain't. I got to stay
- 16:01Speaker 8: in three sixteen. Man, see that, that's what I'm trying
- 16:03Speaker 8: to say. I don't sign the least, so I'm stuck
- 16:06Speaker 8: with it. I got to get that apartment. So I said,
- 16:09Speaker 8: I'm trying to tell you would you like to which
- 16:11Speaker 8: which other apartment would you like to move to? And
- 16:13Speaker 8: I go only get them to move your stuff all
- 16:15Speaker 8: the time over than nothing.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Ain't nothing moving on. Thing gonna moves. The numbers. You
- 16:20Speaker 5: can add them up, divide them, do whatever you want
- 16:23Speaker 5: to them. But I ain't moving. So you're gonna have
- 16:26Speaker 5: to get that to your head. Man. And really, I'm
- 16:28Speaker 5: because I don't know gave you my number? Was like this,
- 16:32Speaker 5: I mean, working called me because I don't.
- 16:34Speaker 8: Even know no vun no, no, you don't know me, DoD.
- 16:37Speaker 8: I asked them who was in three sixteen? They told me,
- 16:40Speaker 8: sain't none of your.
- 16:40Speaker 5: Business going three sixteen?
- 16:42Speaker 8: Man, Hey, listen, man, I'm trying to do this as
- 16:44Speaker 8: respectful as possible. You know, like I said, I really
- 16:47Speaker 8: can't function unless I'm living in apartment.
- 16:50Speaker 5: Just respect me, then doing disrespect for them, because I'm
- 16:53Speaker 5: gonna show him.
- 16:53Speaker 8: Do this.
- 16:54Speaker 5: You called me with like this I don't get favorite now.
- 16:57Speaker 5: I don't care if there was your favorite scripture.
- 16:59Speaker 8: Okay, hey me with like that man team. Now, you're
- 17:02Speaker 8: gonna make this hard, okay, so let me let me
- 17:04Speaker 8: tell you this to you. And I already told the
- 17:06Speaker 8: lady I want to be in three sixteen. She told
- 17:08Speaker 8: me I needed to deal with deal. Now I'm trying
- 17:11Speaker 8: to deal with you on a polite way, okay, because
- 17:13Speaker 8: like I say, I can't function, man, unless I'm in
- 17:16Speaker 8: an apartment three sixteen, I can't. I can't even get
- 17:18Speaker 8: them go to work. I cannot function. Okay, I have
- 17:21Speaker 8: to have that apartment number done right.
- 17:23Speaker 5: So it sounds like you've got a problem on your hands.
- 17:25Speaker 8: Man.
- 17:25Speaker 5: Whatever your pridem is, that's your priblem ain't got to
- 17:29Speaker 5: do with me coming you know like that. Like I say,
- 17:32Speaker 5: I've been staying in three sixteen, I'm gonna stay in
- 17:35Speaker 5: three sixteen till I moved to a house. You need
- 17:38Speaker 5: to find something else to do. And really I'm starting.
- 17:41Speaker 5: They gave you my number to call me with is
- 17:44Speaker 5: I can't leaves like the way you're talking to you
- 17:48Speaker 5: talking to me first, what you come at me with that?
- 17:51Speaker 5: Come at me with a number that looks like you man,
- 17:55Speaker 5: three sixteen.
- 17:56Speaker 8: What excuse me though, what you're saying?
- 17:59Speaker 5: You calling me with this? I tell you what, man,
- 18:02Speaker 5: come at me, Come at my problem that you gonna
- 18:05Speaker 5: see it? Man, you understand what I'm saying.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Hey man, I'm trying to handle this respectably. Man. Okay,
- 18:10Speaker 8: all right, Well I said I'm trying to do.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Listen to me.
- 18:12Speaker 8: I'm trying to tell you honestly, dog, I cannot function
- 18:16Speaker 8: outside of them three numbers. I have to live in
- 18:18Speaker 8: an apartment three sixteen.
- 18:19Speaker 5: That ain't my business. Man.
- 18:20Speaker 8: No, I don't wanna have to come move yo, Yo,
- 18:23Speaker 8: but I do.
- 18:23Speaker 5: Hold on with running back what you say?
- 18:25Speaker 8: I said, I don't want to have to move, Yo.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Said that.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Now let me said what you're gonna come move my
- 18:32Speaker 5: I want hey, matter of fact, come yeah, come on,
- 18:34Speaker 5: come move three sixteen, three sixteen. I had a free
- 18:38Speaker 5: for you. Come on, man, come on, come move my man,
- 18:41Speaker 5: Come on, two ten sideds. Come on, move yet all
- 18:44Speaker 5: kind of going on the world with numbers. They got
- 18:47Speaker 5: three hundred sixty five days.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Deal with this.
- 18:49Speaker 5: I mean it works. You want, I'm on my nine
- 18:51Speaker 5: to five. When you come at you bout three sixteen
- 18:54Speaker 5: I'm gonna move somebody. That's all I got to say. Man,
- 18:57Speaker 5: it's gonna be you before I did, before I deal
- 18:59Speaker 5: with you. So I'm gonna get at least I was
- 19:01Speaker 5: even giving you my number day.
- 19:04Speaker 8: Hey man, I'm just trying to tell you I have
- 19:06Speaker 8: to stay under them numbers, man, I have to. I'm

- 20:51Speaker 10: Coming up next, it is asked the CLO with our
- 20:54Speaker 10: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:59Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour. And entertainment news.
- 21:02Speaker 10: Some sad news out of Hollywood. Actor Andre Brower has
- 21:06Speaker 10: passed away. Oprah Winfrey says she does, Yes, she does
- 21:10Speaker 10: take weight loss medication. And our girl Fantasia. Have you
- 21:14Speaker 10: seen her lately?
- 21:17Speaker 6: May thing?
- 21:19Speaker 1: She looks so good.
- 21:20Speaker 10: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:22Speaker 10: of the hour, but right now it is time to
- 21:26Speaker 10: ask the clo All right. This one's from Olisa in Manchester.
- 21:30Speaker 10: Olitha writes, I sent a new photo to a coworker,
- 21:33Speaker 10: and he sent it to another guy of work, and
- 21:36Speaker 10: he passed it on to a few others. I want
- 21:38Speaker 10: to get revenge by sending out the sad pick of
- 21:41Speaker 10: this guy's little You know what, do I embarrass him
- 21:44Speaker 10: like he did me?
- 21:45Speaker 3: Or let it go?
- 21:47Speaker 8: Ma?
- 21:47Speaker 3: I think you should let it go and learn yourself
- 21:50Speaker 3: a lesson, because why would you do that? Now you
- 21:54Speaker 3: all over the office, Now you showing a picture him
- 21:56Speaker 3: ain't gonna help you, but it could get you into
- 21:58Speaker 3: a further hole, because now they got something else to
- 22:02Speaker 3: talk about. Why did you do that? Why? See? These
- 22:07Speaker 3: are the lessons in life you got to learn. Have
- 22:08Speaker 3: y'all ever noticed you don't really learn something unless you
- 22:12Speaker 3: learn it from all your mistakes and failures. Those are
- 22:15Speaker 3: your major lessons in life, your mistakes and great failures. Agreed,
- 22:20Speaker 3: And so as we sit here and go, why would
- 22:22Speaker 3: you send this picture to this man? And now he
- 22:24Speaker 3: didn't send it somebody else, And he didn't send somebody
- 22:26Speaker 3: else because you're in the office. She been walking around
- 22:29Speaker 3: with these clothes on. Now we get to see what's
- 22:30Speaker 3: under the clothes.
- 22:32Speaker 1: But she should she should just let it go. Don't
- 22:34Speaker 1: get revenge on him by sending a picture of him out.
- 22:39Speaker 3: Well, huh, you can let it leak. You could let
- 22:44Speaker 3: it leak. How would it me. I'm not that good
- 22:48Speaker 3: a Christian. I posted on the bullet the board and
- 22:51Speaker 3: kept here machine making funny. I had an I'm small
- 22:58Speaker 3: minded like that, though I real stuff like that. I
- 23:01Speaker 3: won't send it out, but I will put it up
- 23:03Speaker 3: on the bulletin board in the cafeteria in the hallway
- 23:06Speaker 3: or something like that. Or any suggestion boxing say, you
- 23:12Speaker 3: have a little note up under something catchy like, you know,
- 23:15Speaker 3: Vianna sausage sale, something like this.
- 23:21Speaker 1: All right, Moving on to Mikayla in Buffalo.
- 23:25Speaker 10: Mikayla says, we bought our daughter a car for Christmas,
- 23:28Speaker 10: and my husband made sure it's fully loaded. He then
- 23:32Speaker 10: said that he and I won't be exchanging gifts this
- 23:35Speaker 10: year since we spent so much money, He said, I'm
- 23:38Speaker 10: selfish for not agreeing with him.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Am I selfish?
- 23:42Speaker 8: No?
- 23:43Speaker 3: No, I don't know how I do think you finna
- 23:47Speaker 3: get the daughter something and you ain't gonna get the
- 23:48Speaker 3: woman who made the daughter something. Brother, You can't bruh.
- 23:52Speaker 3: These are still women we have here, these women in
- 23:55Speaker 3: our lives. They are still women in our lives, and
- 23:58Speaker 3: we still got to find way to keep them important.
- 24:01Speaker 3: You cannot put your wife second to your kids. She
- 24:06Speaker 3: made them kids. You got no kids without hub. She
- 24:11Speaker 3: is the maker, producer, and manufacturer of all human life
- 24:16Speaker 3: on this earth. A woman did it. You can never
- 24:20Speaker 3: forget that. Dog. No, she's not being selfish. She want
- 24:26Speaker 3: to be recognized too. I got y'all spent his money
- 24:29Speaker 3: on his baby, but damn, and we ain't exchange and
- 24:34Speaker 3: gifts because we just spend too much money.
- 24:37Speaker 10: Also, all right, Moving on to Journey in Baton Rouge.
- 24:45Speaker 10: Journey says, my man's new thing is tailored suit. Okay,
- 24:49Speaker 10: but he doesn't have a he doesn't have a flat stomach,
- 24:52Speaker 10: and he doesn't have thin thighs. For the cut of
- 24:54Speaker 10: the suit that he prefers, he looks more uncomfortable than stylish.
- 25:00Speaker 10: You can't tell him he's not sharp.
- 25:03Speaker 1: How do I nicely tell him that he is not flying?
- 25:06Speaker 1: He ain't.
- 25:07Speaker 3: You just got to say it. Your fat ass k
- 25:09Speaker 3: wes lim cut suits. You know, see them skinny suit
- 25:13Speaker 3: says that suit supply and all that for them, young boys.
- 25:17Speaker 3: That's for them, young boys. Skinny jeans belong on skinny
- 25:21Speaker 3: people because when fat people put on skinny jeans, you
- 25:25Speaker 3: look like a waffle cone. See your stomach and stuff
- 25:29Speaker 3: hanging all over the top of the pants. You look
- 25:31Speaker 3: like a waffle cone. You can't do that. And you
- 25:35Speaker 3: get tailored clothes so that to close a tailored to
- 25:39Speaker 3: your body. You don't see what you don't do, Fellas,
- 25:43Speaker 3: listen to me. You don't go get a tailored suit
- 25:46Speaker 3: and take in a sample of a suit you want
- 25:48Speaker 3: your tailored suit to look at, because now you might
- 25:51Speaker 3: as well just buy a snowball suit. If you get
- 25:54Speaker 3: a properly tailored garment. What they can do, because I
- 26:00Speaker 3: have had the stomach issue, they will make shoulders. Yeah,
- 26:07Speaker 3: I flattened it out a little bit. It still ain't
- 26:10Speaker 3: flat flat. It ain't schamam flat, but it's down enough
- 26:17Speaker 3: where I feel more decent about it, you know, I
- 26:20Speaker 3: ain't shamed or whatever. They will take your point to
- 26:24Speaker 3: point on your shoulder and increase it a little bit,
- 26:28Speaker 3: and then they can taper the front of the jacket
- 26:30Speaker 3: to give it more of a V cut while leaving
- 26:33Speaker 3: the little room in the sides where you can move along.
- 26:37Speaker 3: And you can't have tight thighs on your on your
- 26:40Speaker 3: custom suit stuff because you're too big. You're just too big,
- 26:50Speaker 3: all right.
- 26:50Speaker 1: So she just wants to tell him nicely fly.
- 26:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't. You can't tell him nicely. You've got
- 26:57Speaker 3: to hurt him. Come out the suit on. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:04Speaker 3: you paid for that, that's custom.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Tell him nicely though.
- 27:12Speaker 3: No, No, you gotta cut a man. Y'all already know
- 27:17Speaker 3: men don't do hints. Y'all already know that. How many
- 27:20Speaker 3: times you drop your man to hit and he missed it?
- 27:24Speaker 1: Will do She needs to be that mean to her man, No,
- 27:29Speaker 1: not me.
- 27:31Speaker 3: Tell baby, baby, baby, them pants too tight around your thighs.
- 27:38Speaker 3: They're too tight, and the start a fire and start yeah,
- 27:46Speaker 3: show glad they ain't called Roy put up the flame
- 27:51Speaker 3: that was saying paper.
- 27:56Speaker 11: You got just tell him, baby, you wanted unkle show up.
- 28:00Speaker 1: But why is your she and app see right there?
- 28:06Speaker 3: Let them know you need new Taylor. All right?
- 28:13Speaker 10: Moving on last one, Celestine and Enterprise says, for Christmas,
- 28:19Speaker 10: my husband and I have booked a staycation forty five
- 28:22Speaker 10: minutes from our house. My mom will be keeping our
- 28:25Speaker 10: one year old. But she said on Christmas Day, we
- 28:28Speaker 10: need to see our child. Why is she trying to
- 28:31Speaker 10: make us feel guilty about this?
- 28:39Speaker 3: Well, it's Christmas, uh huh, And they want to see y'all,
- 28:43Speaker 3: you know, yeah, the one year old. Oh, she was
- 28:51Speaker 3: telling them that y'all need to see y'all's child on Christmas.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they're just the way.
- 28:57Speaker 3: But yeah, yeah, baby don't know what's Christmas dough? Yeah,
- 29:05Speaker 3: Union got to take him over there by the tree.
- 29:07Speaker 3: You ain't reg.
- 29:10Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Colo. Coming up at the top
- 29:13Speaker 1: of the hour, we'll have some entertainment news for you
- 29:15Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening hard morning show.
- 29:21Speaker 10: Actor Andre Brower, best known for his roles on Homicide,
- 29:25Speaker 10: Life on the Street, and Brooklyn nine nine, has died
- 29:28Speaker 10: after a recent illness. This is according to People Magazine.
- 29:31Speaker 10: He was sixty one years old. Brower won two Primetime
- 29:35Speaker 10: Emmy Awards while being nominated eleven times. That's how good
- 29:40Speaker 10: he was. He also had supporting roles in such movies
- 29:43Speaker 10: as Glory and many many more. Terry crews who starred
- 29:46Speaker 10: with Brower on Brooklyn ninety nine wrote on Instagram quote,
- 29:50Speaker 10: can't believe you're gone so soon. I'm on it to
- 29:53Speaker 10: have known you, laughed with you, worked with you, and
- 29:55Speaker 10: shared eight glorious years watching your irreplaceable talent.
- 29:59Speaker 1: This hurts.
- 30:00Speaker 10: I will be forever grateful for the experience of knowing you.
- 30:04Speaker 10: You showed me what a life well lived looks like.
- 30:07Speaker 10: Rest in peace, Andre, I love you, man. Andre is
- 30:11Speaker 10: survived by his wife and their three sons, and of course,
- 30:14Speaker 10: our deepest condolence is going out to Andre Brower's family.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Wow.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Wow, what a great actor he was.
- 30:22Speaker 12: Sure.
- 30:26Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 1: I love Brooklyn nine nine.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:29Speaker 7: Uh.
- 30:31Speaker 10: And he surprised a lot of people because he was
- 30:33Speaker 10: such a dramatic actor. People didn't know he could do
- 30:35Speaker 10: comedy so well. Yeah when he got Brooklyn nine to nine.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Good man.
- 30:41Speaker 10: And In other entertainment news, Oprah has been looking slim
- 30:47Speaker 10: and fabulous in her purple while on her media press
- 30:50Speaker 10: tours promoter movie The Color Purple Oprah told People magazine
- 30:54Speaker 10: that she does, in fact take weight loss medicine. She
- 30:58Speaker 10: says the fact that there's a medically approved prescription for
- 31:01Speaker 10: managing weight and staying healthier in my lifetime feels like relief,
- 31:05Speaker 10: like redemption, like a gift, and not something to hide
- 31:09Speaker 10: behind and once again be ridiculed for. She also said,
- 31:14Speaker 10: I'm absolutely done with the shaming from other people and
- 31:17Speaker 10: particularly myself. Oprah didn't say which weight loss medication she's taking,
- 31:22Speaker 10: but she did say it's not just about the medicine.
- 31:25Speaker 10: She has put in a lot of work to shed
- 31:27Speaker 10: the pounds, including several lifestyle changes like drinking a gallon
- 31:31Speaker 10: of water a day and having her last meal at
- 31:33Speaker 10: four pm and using the weight Watcher's point system.
- 31:37Speaker 3: So there you go. That's what Oprah is to damn
- 31:40Speaker 3: right there. I don't drink a gallon of water, a
- 31:43Speaker 3: glass meal at foe and on weight Watch A point.
- 31:47Speaker 3: So one, I'm.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Alive, Steve, you call every day?
- 31:55Speaker 3: Yeah, which I would rather be on them damn weight
- 31:58Speaker 3: Watch A point. You had a choice, Yes, I need
- 32:03Speaker 3: to give me some of that damn old zipic, some
- 32:06Speaker 3: more covey damn weight watcher points and stop eating at
- 32:10Speaker 3: four thirty and be me and Oprah because I'm gonna
- 32:17Speaker 3: tell you what I can't do. Man, I can't. I
- 32:18Speaker 3: can't quit eating last meal of four thirty. That can't happen. Yeah,
- 32:24Speaker 3: I got to get another program. But this cold plunge,
- 32:27Speaker 3: you know, is more than a notion. I'm sitting to
- 32:29Speaker 3: be a cold right now.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And this is working.
- 32:36Speaker 3: I just you know what, Just let me just say
- 32:38Speaker 3: this to you. Cold plunge has done wonders for me.
- 32:42Speaker 3: But I can't recommend it to you. I just I
- 32:44Speaker 3: can't say, hey, man, you got to do this because
- 32:48Speaker 3: it's difficult. Now I don't love it.
- 32:51Speaker 1: I know you can't say that. Yeah, you were saying,
- 32:53Speaker 1: I can't recommend it.
- 32:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 7: Every challenge, man, every challenge I see. I see people
- 32:58Speaker 7: put their foot in it and they back up off
- 32:59Speaker 7: of Yeah, they leg and they come.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Back out of it. Man. It is one of the
- 33:07Speaker 3: most challenging disciplines I've ever done. Physically, Yeah, yeah, this
- 33:16Speaker 3: is harder than me trying to run around the track,
- 33:19Speaker 3: lift weights, go to the gym. This is harder than
- 33:22Speaker 3: me stretching hard. I can't take a thirty second cold shower,
- 33:28Speaker 3: right I tried ten seconds. So a cold shower got
- 33:33Speaker 3: me in a an uproar. It's like when you drop
- 33:37Speaker 3: your body down in that water man at forty eight degrees,
- 33:42Speaker 3: you know, and people listen.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Eight degrees.
- 33:46Speaker 3: The science. The science says, in order for your body
- 33:50Speaker 3: to burn brown fou the science says, the water must
- 33:56Speaker 3: be a minimum fifty eight degrees, and you don't have
- 34:01Speaker 3: to go lower than fifty degrees. Mine is said at
- 34:06Speaker 3: forty eight because my tub varies a little bit. You know,
- 34:09Speaker 3: someday you wake up as fifty there some days it's
- 34:12Speaker 3: fifty one. I just I just want to do the maximum.
- 34:15Speaker 3: And science also says the minimum you have to do
- 34:20Speaker 3: in cold water submersion is three minutes. This is the science,
- 34:23Speaker 3: it's new science. And the maximum is six minutes. I've
- 34:27Speaker 3: done ten minutes before. I'll never do that again, and
- 34:31Speaker 3: ten minutes before.
- 34:32Speaker 10: So is this a lifestyle permanent change for you? Because
- 34:37Speaker 10: you hadn't stopped milling it since you started?
- 34:39Speaker 3: So are you for me?
- 34:41Speaker 8: It is?
- 34:41Speaker 7: I mean, go ahead, tell me, are you stiff when
- 34:45Speaker 7: you like after six minutes trying to get up out
- 34:48Speaker 7: of this?
- 34:49Speaker 1: No, that's the point.
- 34:51Speaker 4: No.
- 34:52Speaker 3: No, The most joyous moment of your day is climbing
- 34:56Speaker 3: your ass out that water.
- 35:00Speaker 10: Isn't that what That's part of what it's for, to
- 35:02Speaker 10: get the stiffness out and the inflammation and all of that.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Isn't that what I'm telling you, man? I had a
- 35:08Speaker 3: lot of inflammation in my body. I had leaky gut.
- 35:11Speaker 3: I had uh a sodeurn syndrome. I had UH high
- 35:16Speaker 3: trust triglycerize just whatever they call it. I had that.
- 35:21Speaker 3: I had severe sleep app neel, and I had high
- 35:23Speaker 3: blood pressure. All praise to God. And because of my
- 35:29Speaker 3: elevate you and my tenex health protocol, I have none
- 35:32Speaker 3: of those things anymore. I don't take high blood medication,
- 35:36Speaker 3: I don't have leaky gut. And for the first time
- 35:38Speaker 3: I've been able to lose weight. I stepped on the
- 35:40Speaker 3: scale this morning, shocked myself this morning. Wow good, Let
- 35:47Speaker 3: me let me let me take my inbody and put
- 35:49Speaker 3: it in your face. I gotta go though.
- 35:55Speaker 11: None of that coming up.

- 38:23Speaker 1: I tried to tell you not to be with it.
- 38:25Speaker 1: The first placed on the show is most likely to
- 38:33Speaker 1: get caught cheating.
- 38:37Speaker 3: Hm hmm, well, well that's a hard because yeah, blame
- 38:53Speaker 3: it on the single person. I'm just gonna say I've
- 38:56Speaker 3: probably done it most of it than anybody. But the
- 39:02Speaker 3: most likely to get busted would be Junior. If he
- 39:04Speaker 3: ever did it, come he'd be in there talking and
- 39:09Speaker 3: saying the wrong stuff, so I think he would be
- 39:13Speaker 3: the most likely.
- 39:14Speaker 1: That's who on the show.
- 39:16Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, we'll
- 39:18Speaker 10: check Steve's voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine. Steve
- 39:21Speaker 10: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this, you're
- 39:25Speaker 10: listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. It is time now to
- 39:29Speaker 10: check Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Steve, call him, leave a message. You might just hear
- 39:35Speaker 1: your call on the air, ready, Steve, Yeah, all right,
- 39:38Speaker 1: here to go. This is from d Ray from Dallas.
- 39:41Speaker 8: Hey, Steve Lee raised from Dallas.
- 39:44Speaker 5: I was calling because I got him. I got a situation.
- 39:47Speaker 5: I need good, older manly advice.
- 39:50Speaker 8: I got a fourteen year old son.
- 39:52Speaker 12: Of course he's all into girls and stiggs, and of course.
- 39:56Speaker 8: He already got him some. But even though I'm all
- 39:59Speaker 8: ready he ran everything to him.
- 40:01Speaker 12: I gave it to him, rollering and everything, even before
- 40:03Speaker 12: he had sick. It's still not resonating to him. And
- 40:06Speaker 12: we all been young men before. But of course the.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Divide in the house.
- 40:10Speaker 8: Is me, him and his mama.
- 40:12Speaker 12: But I get what I'm owns me and as we say,
- 40:16Speaker 12: man is kind of that's a tricky one. But I
- 40:19Speaker 12: also started to think to myself as the advice I
- 40:22Speaker 12: keep getting some other men that have teenagers or acclaim
- 40:26Speaker 12: it's like the world is transversing into man. It's just
- 40:29Speaker 12: reality and you just got to let it happen. And
- 40:31Speaker 12: I thought we were supposed to be raising these boys
- 40:34Speaker 12: to be better than what we do because everybody keeps
- 40:36Speaker 12: telling me what was you doing when you know how
- 40:39Speaker 12: it is? And I'm like, damn, but is that what
- 40:42Speaker 12: we're supposed to stick with? And it's becoming a big
- 40:45Speaker 12: problem in the house to where you know, Mammy and
- 40:47Speaker 12: Daddy more Mama really want to kick him at the
- 40:50Speaker 12: house to you know, and all that old type of stuff.
- 40:53Speaker 12: And I'm just confused on it, and I don't know
- 40:55Speaker 12: what to do.
- 40:56Speaker 8: So I need your help. Oh help, I got you, ma'am.
- 41:04Speaker 3: If you're a father currently and you have sons, this
- 41:08Speaker 3: is the dilemma. This is the dilemma because you know
- 41:13Speaker 3: what the proving marker is for all boys, and that
- 41:17Speaker 3: is girls. And if you're a heterosexual man, you want
- 41:21Speaker 3: your son quite naturally to gravitate that way towards him girls.
- 41:26Speaker 3: But here is the dilemma. Even though you know it's
- 41:31Speaker 3: going to happen, you don't have to push him in
- 41:34Speaker 3: that direction for it to happen so early, and you
- 41:38Speaker 3: don't have to condone it and reward it, because that's
- 41:43Speaker 3: a dangerous thing to do, especially at fourteen, because this
- 41:46Speaker 3: boy don't even have the capability of understanding the ramifications
- 41:50Speaker 3: of it all. And even what it means at fourteen,
- 41:53Speaker 3: he's just doing some reactionary stuff because of all of us.
- 41:57Speaker 3: If you remember your first time with the girl, just
- 41:59Speaker 3: think back when the actual moment happened that the whole
- 42:04Speaker 3: thing was supposed to It was rather confusing. You didn't
- 42:07Speaker 3: really know what was going on. Your body was trembling.
- 42:12Speaker 3: All of a sudden, your hair stood up on your head,
- 42:14Speaker 3: and you were just as confused and you didn't know
- 42:16Speaker 3: what was going on. So what I decided to do
- 42:19Speaker 3: was to raise my sons and tell them this, look, man,
- 42:23Speaker 3: this is the life you should live as a respectful man.
- 42:27Speaker 3: To be respectful for young girls. Do not go out
- 42:30Speaker 3: here and do anything you want with these girls and
- 42:32Speaker 3: then lead these girls hold in the bag. You go
- 42:35Speaker 3: off to college, pursue your dreams, and this young girl
- 42:38Speaker 3: sitting here with a baby trying to make it work.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I said, bruh, don't do that, and I've tried to
- 42:42Speaker 3: talk to them about that. At the same time, you
- 42:46Speaker 3: know that the world we live in, they are going
- 42:49Speaker 3: to partake in it. It's no way to avoid this
- 42:52Speaker 3: with your children. Because they got the Internet, they got
- 42:55Speaker 3: peer pressure, They go to school every day, they spend
- 42:57Speaker 3: more time away from you than they do with you.
- 43:00Speaker 3: So all you can do is hope that your teachings
- 43:02Speaker 3: resonate with them while they await, and then prepare yourself
- 43:06Speaker 3: for the mistakes that they are going to make. And
- 43:08Speaker 3: they are all going to make mistakes, and you will
- 43:12Speaker 3: feel horrible about it, and you will think of this
- 43:14Speaker 3: as your reflection on you as parenting, but it's not.
- 43:17Speaker 3: It's not reflective of you as a parent. You can
- 43:20Speaker 3: teach your children the right way all you want, they
- 43:22Speaker 3: gonna go out here and make a decision that goes
- 43:24Speaker 3: counter to everything you've ever told them. So it's a dilemma.
- 43:28Speaker 3: But putting your boy out the house is not the solution.
- 43:32Speaker 3: And I don't know where she coming with that. If
- 43:34Speaker 3: you think putting them out your house is the solution,
- 43:36Speaker 3: you sadly mistaken about that. Because this boy out here
- 43:40Speaker 3: got active at fourteen, you're gonna put him out? Well,
- 43:42Speaker 3: what you're thinking have now? So you got to talk
- 43:45Speaker 3: to your boy about respect. You got to get him
- 43:47Speaker 3: to understand the way to treat women. And that's it.
- 43:52Speaker 3: It's a tough one, but you got a state of course,
- 43:55Speaker 3: But raise your son is the right way man. Tell
- 43:57Speaker 3: them the right thing. How to be respectful of women,
- 43:59Speaker 3: you know, because you got to remember two. You don't
- 44:01Speaker 3: want nobody doing your daughter like that, dude, right, all right,
- 44:06Speaker 3: so raise your boys accordingly and the whole protection conversation.
- 44:13Speaker 3: All right, world, all.
- 44:15Speaker 10: Right, great advice, Steve. Coming up next, it is the
- 44:17Speaker 10: Nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Morning show.
- 44:25Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:27Speaker 10: four minutes after, it's my Strawberry letter for today, and
- 44:29Speaker 10: the subject is trying to get through the holidays. We'll
- 44:32Speaker 10: get into that in just a few find out what
- 44:34Speaker 10: that's all about. But right now it is time for
- 44:36Speaker 10: the Nephew. He is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:39Speaker 7: What you got for us, nep Well, you know, sometimes
- 44:42Speaker 7: you gotta say it, you know, sometimes you got to
- 44:45Speaker 7: get it off your chest. Sometimes you just got to
- 44:46Speaker 7: give somebody a phone call.
- 44:48Speaker 3: You just gotta let them know. You just gotta say it.
- 44:51Speaker 7: What we're saying, say what I love your wife.
- 44:55Speaker 8: Oh, you.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Just gotta say no, you just trying to say.
- 45:01Speaker 7: I mean, you know, it's been on, it's been heavily
- 45:03Speaker 7: on my mind. But the last year or two I
- 45:06Speaker 7: love your wife or than you. I mean, it's just,
- 45:10Speaker 7: it's just fact.
- 45:12Speaker 3: It's a lot of nerves.
- 45:15Speaker 1: A audastiny.
- 45:18Speaker 7: I've been, I've been, I've been. I mean we've been.
- 45:20Speaker 7: We've been going ourselves at lunch at work. You know,
- 45:23Speaker 7: I've been sending money over there. I'm taking care of
- 45:25Speaker 7: you when you're getting laid off.
- 45:29Speaker 1: The most, aren't you.
- 45:31Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 45:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm keeping the lights on over there. Let's go,
- 45:34Speaker 7: cat dog.
- 45:35Speaker 8: Hello. Hey, I'm trying to I'm trying to track that's right.
- 45:38Speaker 8: Who is this, hey, Trey? How you doing? Man? This
- 45:40Speaker 8: is Milton. I work at your wife, Terese Milton. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 8: you've probably heard of me before. I've been been at
- 45:47Speaker 8: the job probably about five years now. She ever mentioned me.
- 45:50Speaker 5: No, I don't no milking, what's going on? Everything?
- 45:55Speaker 8: Everything's good, Everything is good. Hey, listen, I wanted to
- 45:59Speaker 8: have a conversation with you. Man. I don't really know
- 46:02Speaker 8: how to spring this on you or whatever. But like
- 46:06Speaker 8: I said, I've been working at this spot for five
- 46:08Speaker 8: years and been on Teresa probably like around three. And
- 46:14Speaker 8: I guess what I really want to say is that
- 46:16Speaker 8: I didn't I didn't gain some feelings for Tcha and
- 46:20Speaker 8: oh yeah, whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa wah who whoa
- 46:22Speaker 8: wo holong hold on, man, holo, holo.
- 46:25Speaker 4: You're calling me and you're telling me right now you
- 46:28Speaker 4: have feelings for my wife, who you work with, and
- 46:31Speaker 4: you like Teresa because that is my wife. You have
- 46:34Speaker 4: feelings for my wife?
- 46:35Speaker 8: Is that correct? Yeah? You know it took me a
- 46:37Speaker 8: while to come forward and say this, but you know
- 46:40Speaker 8: I'm man enough now and I feel like me and
- 46:43Speaker 8: you need to talk about it. Have you lost your mind? No, No,
- 46:46Speaker 8: I haven't. Have you got your mind now? Listen, I'm
- 46:50Speaker 8: just letting you know. Today is the day that I
- 46:51Speaker 8: decided I'm not carrying this weight on my shoulders no more.
- 46:54Speaker 8: I'm getting it off of me, all right. And at
- 46:56Speaker 8: the end of the day, I love your wife more
- 46:59Speaker 8: than you do. What I I love your wife more than.
- 47:05Speaker 4: You two bright so you would how long you've been
- 47:09Speaker 4: loving my wife? You tell me how long you've been
- 47:11Speaker 4: loving my How long?
- 47:12Speaker 8: How long you feel that.
- 47:13Speaker 4: You have been in love with my wife?
- 47:16Speaker 8: I mean I'm looking at I know, I know, I
- 47:17Speaker 8: know at least too.
- 47:20Speaker 4: Does my wife even know this?
- 47:22Speaker 8: I mean, I'm sure she's aware of to a certain
- 47:25Speaker 8: extent to a certain extent. What what?
- 47:27Speaker 4: How how certain of the extent are we talking?
- 47:29Speaker 8: I mean, you know when we go to lunch together,
- 47:31Speaker 8: she you know, I mean, I'm sure she know, y'all.
- 47:34Speaker 4: Yeah, we're going to lunch together. How long y'all been
- 47:36Speaker 4: going with lunch together?
- 47:37Speaker 8: Bro, we were going to lunch together at least at
- 47:39Speaker 8: least two and a half years. I mean we go
- 47:40Speaker 8: to lunch together almost every day. I mean we might
- 47:42Speaker 8: miss the day if she go with the girls, I
- 47:44Speaker 8: go with the fellows, so be it. But for the
- 47:46Speaker 8: most part, me and her, me and her pretty much

- 48:12Speaker 8: Come on, b listen, listen. I know all about you,
- 48:17Speaker 8: trade everything about it, all right. I already know how

- 48:23Speaker 4: I'm hot, right, I'm feeling like a strong sense station
- 48:26Speaker 4: right now because I really want to reach through the
- 48:27Speaker 4: phone and just some break through the neck right now, That's.
- 48:30Speaker 8: What I really want to do.
- 48:32Speaker 4: That's what I really want to do.
- 48:33Speaker 8: And why is my wife talking about business outside of
- 48:35Speaker 8: our household?
- 48:36Speaker 5: That's what I'm trying to figure out.
- 48:37Speaker 8: Hey, all I'm saying is when we go to lunch,

- 50:22Speaker 8: I'm swear to God, I swear to God. I need
- 50:26Speaker 8: to talk to my wife. Man, I need to talk

- 50:29Speaker 5: I needn't talk to my wife because.
- 50:31Speaker 8: I man, listen, you know what, I just couldn't hold
- 50:35Speaker 8: this back. No more me living behind in the shadows,
- 50:38Speaker 8: and but I'm over here kicking money out to Teresa

- 50:47Speaker 4: Much on money, Bert, So you was getting the money.
- 50:51Speaker 4: You're kicking the money when I was laid off.

- 50:56Speaker 8: man to me and Teresa's tight, so you know, I
- 50:58Speaker 8: just try to step in and help her out.
- 51:01Speaker 4: So you give me my wife money?
- 51:03Speaker 5: Is what you're saying.
- 51:04Speaker 8: Do you want me to make you feel better about
- 51:06Speaker 8: the whole time? You want to make you feel better.
- 51:08Speaker 4: You ain't need to make me feel better about it. Man,
- 51:12Speaker 4: I'm gonna do is talk about wife. That's all I
- 51:14Speaker 4: got to do is talk to my wife.
- 51:16Speaker 8: That's that's fine. But can I say something that will
- 51:18Speaker 8: make you feel better? What I'm gonna say this to you?

- 52:32Speaker 3: you enjoy the call?
- 52:33Speaker 7: That's what it's about. It's not about that man's feelings

- 54:21Speaker 10: But I need your advice before I let a sure
- 54:23Speaker 10: thing go and move on to a fairy tale lover.
- 54:27Speaker 10: I don't want to leave my current boyfriend just yet,
- 54:30Speaker 10: because he is getting my breaks fixed on my car
- 54:33Speaker 10: and he's getting me a bracelet that I want for Christmas.
- 54:36Speaker 10: I already saw it hiding in his drawer, so I'm
- 54:39Speaker 10: doing all I can to stay faithful until the new year.
- 54:43Speaker 1: My new man is in a.
- 54:44Speaker 10: Similar situation, but he's married. He advised me to stay
- 54:49Speaker 10: put while he lets his marriage fizzle on out. He
- 54:52Speaker 10: and his wife don't have any children, so he can
- 54:55Speaker 10: make a clean break. We've been looking at apartments together,
- 54:58Speaker 10: but I told him we might be moving too soon
- 55:01Speaker 10: by choosing to.
- 55:02Speaker 1: Move in together.
- 55:03Speaker 10: I agree that I will put the apartment and all
- 55:06Speaker 10: of the utilities in my name until his divorce is finalized.
- 55:10Speaker 10: I told my sister about my excitement over the new guy,
- 55:13Speaker 10: and she wanted to meet him, but he said it's
- 55:16Speaker 10: best to not invite family into our messed up situation
- 55:20Speaker 10: until he's out of his marriage. My sister took that
- 55:23Speaker 10: as a bad sign, that he's going to have me
- 55:26Speaker 10: staying in an apartment all by myself and he's going
- 55:29Speaker 10: to come over and have sex with me and go
- 55:31Speaker 10: right back to his wife. I don't think that's the case,
- 55:34Speaker 10: because this guy is the one that initiated everything.
- 55:37Speaker 1: He pursued me and told me I deserve to be
- 55:40Speaker 1: treated like a queen.
- 55:41Speaker 10: Meanwhile, my boyfriend does not take me out anymore, and
- 55:45Speaker 10: he never wants to have sex. All he does is
- 55:47Speaker 10: ask me to be patient with him because he's working
- 55:50Speaker 10: on a master plan for us. It's been three years
- 55:52Speaker 10: and he's not even ready to live together. Do I
- 55:55Speaker 10: start twenty twenty four with my prince or stay with
- 55:59Speaker 10: this bump?
- 56:00Speaker 1: All right?
- 56:01Speaker 10: I know we've said this before about a lot of
- 56:03Speaker 10: strawberry letters, but I think this is one of the
- 56:06Speaker 10: truly dumbest letters we've had. And I hope the men
- 56:10Speaker 10: that are listening don't think all women are like this, because.
- 56:13Speaker 6: We are not.
- 56:14Speaker 10: It's wrong what you're doing to your current boyfriend, who
- 56:18Speaker 10: doesn't take you out anymore, who doesn't want to have
- 56:20Speaker 10: sex with you. Maybe he knows about the man that
- 56:23Speaker 10: you have, this married man. I just say, if you
- 56:26Speaker 10: don't want your boyfriend let him go. You ask for
- 56:29Speaker 10: advice about leaving your current boyfriend before you let a
- 56:33Speaker 10: sure thing go.
- 56:34Speaker 6: And here it is.
- 56:36Speaker 10: I mean, he said he's just waiting for his marriage
- 56:39Speaker 10: to fizzle out. I mean, do you hear how stupid
- 56:42Speaker 10: that sounds. There's no end date, no nothing, no papers
- 56:46Speaker 10: in the works, nothing. Then you volunteer to put the
- 56:50Speaker 10: apartment in all of the utilities in your name.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Now, why would you do that?
- 56:54Speaker 10: Why would you do that for a man who's married.
- 56:57Speaker 10: You said he pursued you and said you should be
- 57:00Speaker 10: treated like a queen. Well, yes you should, we all should,
- 57:03Speaker 10: but this is not queen treatment. A queen wouldn't accept
- 57:06Speaker 10: any of this mess. There are way too many red
- 57:09Speaker 10: flags here. Your sister saw them right away when he
- 57:12Speaker 10: said he didn't want to meet her until he got
- 57:14Speaker 10: out of his marriage. That sounded like a cop out
- 57:17Speaker 10: to her, but not to you. You are still making
- 57:20Speaker 10: excuses for him. Listen, this married man is gonna do
- 57:25Speaker 10: just what your sister said. I if he's that into you,
- 57:29Speaker 10: then then why not get out of his marriage then
- 57:32Speaker 10: get with you, and you should back off until he
- 57:35Speaker 10: gets out of his marriage. You're talking about making all
- 57:39Speaker 10: these moves and he's not available. Okay, he is not
- 57:42Speaker 10: available for you to do this right now, so don't
- 57:45Speaker 10: do it, Steve.
- 57:49Speaker 3: I'm so sick, I'm tired, I'm tied. I'm gonna just
- 57:54Speaker 3: tell you all right now, after I do this strawberry letter,
- 57:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna go in there and lay down, you know,
- 58:00Speaker 3: because I'm tired. I don't know what to keep telling y'all.
- 58:06Speaker 3: I don't know why y'all keep trying me. But today today,
- 58:12Speaker 3: though today ain't today, I ain't the one fault today.
- 58:19Speaker 3: Let's just get into it. I'm telling you nothing but raw,
- 58:24Speaker 3: raw truth, a w truth. I'm in love with another man, Okay.
- 58:33Speaker 3: I just need to make it through the holidays with
- 58:36Speaker 3: my current boyfriend so I can dump him and get
- 58:40Speaker 3: with the new guy. Wow, this letter got stupid wrote
- 58:45Speaker 3: on it so far because right now we just talking
- 58:49Speaker 3: about a boyfriend. This ain't even a marriage, and I
- 58:53Speaker 3: can dump him to get the new guy. But I
- 58:55Speaker 3: need your advice and hear where I come here at
- 58:58Speaker 3: Before I let a sure thing go and move on
- 59:01Speaker 3: to a fairy tale level. So we gonna let go
- 59:05Speaker 3: of the sure thing to go to the fairy tale level.
- 59:07Speaker 3: But let's find out a little bit about this show
- 59:09Speaker 3: thing in this fairy tale level. I don't want to leave.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Listen to this reason right here. I don't want to
- 59:16Speaker 3: leave my card boyfriend just yet because he's getting my
- 59:19Speaker 3: breaks fixed on my car and he give me a
- 59:22Speaker 3: bracelet I want for Christmas. I'll be damn, Your damn
- 59:27Speaker 3: whole life is hanging on some breaks and a bracelet.
- 59:32Speaker 3: You done put your life on hold so you can
- 59:36Speaker 3: get some breaks and a bracelet. I'm gonna tell you
- 59:42Speaker 3: right now you ain't worth a damn I'm just gonna
- 59:44Speaker 3: tell you that you're not. You are so cheap you're
- 59:49Speaker 3: worth a set of breaks and a bracelet. Girl, I
- 59:57Speaker 3: already saw it hiding in this drawer. So I'm doing
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: and all I can to be stay faithful until.
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: The new year.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: But you're gonna ride it out. You're gonna stay faithful
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: for the embracelet and breaks. That's all it take to
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: B and B break bracelet boyfriend. Rachel through the.
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: Well that part she will be your response coming up
- 1:00:23Speaker 10: at twenty three minutes after the subject of today's strawberry
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: letter trying to get through the holidays. We'll get back
- 1:00:31Speaker 10: into this right after this. You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: The subject is trying to get through the holidays.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: This ignorant strawberry letter is about a woman that's trying
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: to get through the straw just trying to get through
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: the holidays because she in love with another man, but
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: she don't want to leave her boyfriend yet because she
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: can't dump him just yet, because she need advice. But
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: now she say, before I let a sure thing go
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: and move on to a fairy tale lover here, why
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: she don't wanta leave her current boyfriend? You ready? Because
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: he getting my breaks fixed on my car and he
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: gonna get me a bracelet I want for Christmas? That is, Hey,
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: y'all out there that's got real lives. How many y'all
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: willing to hold your life up for a break job
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: in a bracelet? How many of y'all f in they
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: delay your happiness and what you really want over some breaks?
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Probably just need some new pants at a bracelet already
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: saw it hiding in this drawer. So I'm doing all
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: I can to stay faithful until the new year. He
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: was just laying in the drawer. It wasn't in the
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: box or nothing. Your bracelet hot. That's a lot of
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: bracelet if you drawers just laying in the drawer, you
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: don't see it in no velvet box or nothing. Your
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: bracelet hot. He just got that out the pawn shopping.
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: When they find it, they gonna take your bracelet from me.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: My new man is in a similar situation, but he married.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: Miter got done. Wow breaks bracelets, break up and boyfriend
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: the folk bees. Here we go. My new man is
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: in a similar situation, but he married. He advised me
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: to stay put while he lets his marriage fizzle on out.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: What what do that mean? What does that mean? I'm
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: gonna let my marriage fizzle on out? Girl? This ain't
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: a birthday coundle. You can't just wait til your marriage
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: fizzle out. This ain't one of them sparkless we used
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: to have when we was kids. You know you lighting
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: you waved around till it fizzle out. This is marriage.
- 1:02:50Speaker 3: This ain't no damn fire cracker. This is marriage. He
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: can't just let it fizzle out. He got to go
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: to court and they got some for your little fizzle
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: out ass playing. I can tell you that right now
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: I've been dying. Now tell about you gonna let it
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: fizzle out. They're gonna help your ass out, is what
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: they finn to do. This been the cost this hay,
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: You don't let marriage fizzle out. He and his wife
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: don't have any children, so he can make a clean break.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: What what did you say you think? Cause ain't no
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: kids involved, you can make a clean break, girl. Bye.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: We've been looking at apartments together, but I told him
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: we might be moving too soon by choosing to move
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: in together. He not moving in with you. All y'all
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: been doing is looking at apartments. He can't move in
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: with you cause the marriage ain't fizzled. Our check, it's
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: still sparkling. Show dumb self. I agreed that I will
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: put the apartment in all the utilities in my name
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: until his divorce is finalized. They ain't gonna stay in
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: your name even if he do get a divorce. Who
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: who switched? Who switched names on apartments and electric bills
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: and all that? Girl? I can't believe you this signat
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: I told my sister about my excitement over the new guy,
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: and she wanted to meet me, but he said it's
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: best not to invite family into our messed up situation.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: That's a true statement until he's out of his marriage.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: My sister took that as a bad sign. Your sister
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: stupid too. She took the fact that he didn't want
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: to meet her as a bad sign. You don't think
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: the bad sign is he married? That ain't That ain't
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: a bad sign. Also, y'all, y'all think the bad sign
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: is he didn't want to meet you. The bad sign
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: is he married, and he told you he ain't no
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: his marriage to fizzle out. They ain't got no kids yet,
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: so they're gonna make a clean break. Let me show
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: you how this marriage fit in a fizzle. She fit
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: to get pregnant because the wife don't know nothing about this.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: This is him telling you that the marriage is fizzling out.
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: I promise you that the wife's sitting over there thinking
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: everything is honky doing. I promise you that. I promise
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: you that all men that's married that's trying to have
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: an affair with a woman gonna tell him something wrong
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: at the house. That's the opening line because we play
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: on the fact that you all are nurturers by nature
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: and y'all always want to fix something. Let me hear
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: him get through with this. I don't think that's the
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: case because this guy is one that initiated everything. Wait
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: a minute, you don't think that's the case, because he
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: initiated everything, girl, You stupid. He pursued me and told
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: me that I deserve to be treated like a queen. Well,
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: you're not getting treated like a queen, though you don't
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: see that. Meanwhile, my boyfriend does not take me out anymore,
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: and he never wants to have sex. That's cause he
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: having sex somewhere else. Y'all been together three years. All
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: you getting is your breaks fixed and a bracelet. You
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: ain't getting no wed and ring because you're having sex
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: with somebody else. Let me tell you how stupid this is.
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: You're in the movie Dumb and Dumble. Your boyfriend is dumb,
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Your married boyfriend is dumb. Up if you then had
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: signed wow.
- 1:06:42Speaker 8: A.

- 1:08:09Speaker 9: time he was suspended it was five games. Now he's
- 1:08:11Speaker 9: definitely suspended for another punch on a Phoenix player.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Man, I don't know what this is with this young man.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: This is your third time.
- 1:08:21Speaker 9: It's not even like he've apologizing to nothing. The coach
- 1:08:24Speaker 9: then gave up on you in the post game interviews
- 1:08:26Speaker 9: that you look, he just got to get it together.
- 1:08:28Speaker 9: Ain't nobody supporting this no more? Steph ain't said nothing.
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: He signed one hundred million dollars deal or this past
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: off season. What else do he need or need to do?
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: This is crazy, you know. I don't know. I don't
- 1:08:40Speaker 3: know if record mend this, but his ass needs some
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: type of counselor. But you fit the mess all your
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: money up. He needn't anger management, I Draymon, But dog,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: I mean if we was in the hood on the
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: basketball court, I got you, but we don't leave On

- 1:09:05Speaker 3: I ain't mean slapping you like that. You will on TV? Thought, Yeah,
- 1:09:08Speaker 3: they running in to replay you see it?
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: The referee is right there watching it happen.
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: He didn't need.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: And call it. Even if he miss it, they gonna
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: go over that TV screen on the Scollars table. Yeah,
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: you are hurting your team by not being on the floor.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: You have got to understand that the team supersedes your feelings.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Don't nobody give a damn how you feel. Wow, bro,
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: we don't care how you feel. He will push in me,
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: so five hit me in the throat.
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: So yeah, next week, next year, we get Draymond Dusk
- 1:09:55Speaker 11: in the camp.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Y'all when he pushed me. No, we didn't when he
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: pushed you, but we saw when you backslapped. Yes, yours
- 1:10:04Speaker 3: is out to leave.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: All right, thank you, Junior.
- 1:10:07Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, Steve, a
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: man on social media, needs your advice. He says, My
- 1:10:12Speaker 10: mama invited my ex to Christmas dinner. We'll talk about
- 1:10:15Speaker 10: that right after this.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: You're listening hard morning show. All right, Steve.
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: This is from RJ on Steve BARBFM dot com, and
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: RJ says, about six months ago, I ended things with
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: my fiance. We clearly weren't on the same page about
- 1:10:34Speaker 10: what we wanted for our future, and with something we
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: both agreed on. My ex was friends with my mama,
- 1:10:40Speaker 10: and I think my mom took the break up harder
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: than either of us. Just because my ex and I
- 1:10:45Speaker 10: are still on friendly terms, though, doesn't mean I want
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: to spend Christmas with her and watch my mama try
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: to plot and plea for us to get back together.
- 1:10:54Speaker 10: I'm not trying to hear that. I'm not trying to
- 1:10:56Speaker 10: hear that at all. Well, my mama invited us, invited
- 1:11:01Speaker 10: her over for the holiday, and.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: It would be just the three of us.
- 1:11:04Speaker 10: I really don't want to go now, but I also
- 1:11:07Speaker 10: don't want to ruin my mom's holiday. I just wish
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: she'd be more respectful of what's been going on in
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: my life. Is there a right way to handle this?
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: Just the three of us? We can make it if
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: we try just the three of us that you're doing
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: mama doing, So it's just three of them over the house.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Yeah, him, his ex and his mom.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: I ain't gone.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: So you're not gonna go see your mama for Christmas time?
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: And I see Mama before that. I ain't going over there.

- 1:18:01Speaker 3: or something.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Your piece before.
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Don't nobody want to be damn thimble and want that
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: damn wheel bell? All right?
- 1:18:12Speaker 10: Would you rather eat only Christmas leftovers for two weeks
- 1:18:16Speaker 10: or would you rather have no Christmas leftovers at all?
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: We can give me beef no Christmas leftover?
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: How many weeks to two weeks? Yeah, ain't none to

- 1:18:42Speaker 3: You can't make your soup.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Ham can't be nothing but ham. The ain't no ham stew.
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: You can disguise that turkey, but damn ham sitting over
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: that just ham.
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: Ham and Hammon.
- 1:19:06Speaker 10: All right, would you rather build a snowman for two
- 1:19:09Speaker 10: hours without wearing any gloves?
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: Or would you rather make a snow angel for two hours?
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: Laying on that two hours? Or build a snowman with
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: no gloves?
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: You can hear and build a snowman without glove?
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:19:24Speaker 3: Who going back and forth with your legs on?
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: But at least you have all your clothes on.
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: You'll be warm. But I'm finna make this snowman in
- 1:19:34Speaker 3: by thirty seconds with this.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: No, he ain't gonna be tall at hours. No, he's
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: not gonna be tall.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: You can do that. You can make a little quick.
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: Yea.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: The snowman he shouldn't made. He couldn't make a snowman doll.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: That's the day's round of would you rather?
- 1:19:55Speaker 8: Now?
- 1:19:55Speaker 10: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the hour, it

- 1:20:02Speaker 10: right after this.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:20:06Speaker 10: Morning show?
- 1:20:08Speaker 6: All right, guys, it is.
- 1:20:10Speaker 10: Time for us to close out the show. It's our
- 1:20:12Speaker 10: last break of the day. And before we get to
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: all of that, Steve, we have one more voicemail for you.
- 1:20:18Speaker 10: One more call about your closing remarks.
- 1:20:21Speaker 13: Hi, Steve, I wanted to make a comment regarding your
- 1:20:25Speaker 13: closing remarks where you talked about not giving up on
- 1:20:28Speaker 13: your dream. I appreciate hearing it because I definitely felt
- 1:20:32Speaker 13: like giving up on my dream, and I understand not
- 1:20:35Speaker 13: to give up. I just don't, you know, I'm in
- 1:20:38Speaker 13: a position where I don't know how to achieve my
- 1:20:41Speaker 13: dream to go after them because some of them, you know,
- 1:20:44Speaker 13: are things that I can't control.
- 1:20:46Speaker 14: But it's just rough when you know, you pray and
- 1:20:51Speaker 14: things just stay the same, and I'm just waiting for
- 1:20:55Speaker 14: things to change and been waiting for a long time,
- 1:20:57Speaker 14: but trying to you know, stay and face and have hope.
- 1:21:02Speaker 13: But just wanted to make a comment regard in that
- 1:21:05Speaker 13: thank you.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, based on what she's said, that's the
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: diliver for most people. That's the same dilimma I face
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: from time to time because oftentimes some of the things
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: that I'm asking God for, it takes a lot longer
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: than I would like for it to take because God's
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: timing is different than our timing. But here's something I
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: had to understand. When you're asking God for something and
- 1:21:34Speaker 3: it's taken a while to get it. That's because God
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: is preparing it his way, not your way, and that
- 1:21:41Speaker 3: he's allowing you in putting this delay on it and
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: allowing you to go through the process because there's several
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: lessons he wants you to learn in the waiting process.
- 1:21:52Speaker 3: It's gonna be a test of your faith. Faith, is
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: gonna require your patience. It's gonna cause you to trust
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: more and more in his time. I mean, he may
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: be trying to show some other people in your life
- 1:22:03Speaker 3: something and he's using you. But the reason he's using
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: you is because he knows you can handle it. He
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: knows that when it gets real dog for you, that
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: you will be the one who comes to him and
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: he'll provide you with comfort and strength to get through it.
- 1:22:22Speaker 3: He's not gonna give it to you right when you
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: want it. Everything I've ever gotten from God has seemed
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: to be delayed, seen to be postponed, put off. Has
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: required me to do my due diligence, to practice my faith,
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: to trust in his time, to learn that it's harming
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: only him, to stop collaborating with people. All the time.
- 1:22:46Speaker 3: I used to try to force deals by calling people
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: to try to put him together. I called it networking.
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: God called it interfering. And I would get in the
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: way of so much of what God was trying to
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: do that it would even further delay my Bless him
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: because he now he had to undo all this garbage
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: I had created by getting in the way. I know
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: it's difficult when you ask God for something and it
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: doesn't seem to get answered right away. God said he
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: would hear and answer your prayer. He ain't saved by Friday.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: That's not in the Bible. The date of when he's
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: coming back ain't in the Bible. You know why he
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: don't give us dates because if he gave us dates,
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: that would destroy the one principle that's required of us faith.
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: If he gave us dates, you wouldn't need faith, You
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: just need patience. It's easy to be it's easy to
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: be patient that it is to be faithful. Those are
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: two different practices because sometimes in waiting, you waiting on something,
- 1:23:45Speaker 3: You waiting on three o'clock, Well, you know, if the
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: clock is moving, eventually be three. But faith is different
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: than patience. Faith is the belief in things that you
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: cannot see. That's what faith is. And system he put
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: it on you like this because you've been chosen for this,
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: because you the one. You have been chosen for this journey.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: He picked you. It's you, you the one. Man. I
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: wish I had something that I found on the internet
- 1:24:12Speaker 3: early this morning, at four o'clock in the morning, something
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: that described totally what's happening to me right now, and
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: it was saying, I'm paraphrasing it right now, but I
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: was chosen for this. I am uniquely made. You are
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: uniquely made all of you. God made you just the
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: way He wanted you to be. You you because He
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: made you You. Your journey ain't nobody else's journey. Quit
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: comparing yourself to other people. Quit looking at your life
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: and matching it up with somebody's life.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: That ain't your life. God got a whole.
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Nother life for you. So what, you didn't get that
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: kind of airplane you're still flying? So what you don't
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: live in that house? Ain't your house still nice? Don't
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: you still appreciate the one? Yeah, you ain't got the
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: money Oprah Winfrey got, but dog on it? Who do.
- 1:25:07Speaker 6: Hell?
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: Quit tripping yourself out. Quit, I'm telling you, man, Quit
- 1:25:11Speaker 3: tripping yourself out looking at your life compared to other
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: people's lives, because that ain't your life, That ain't who
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: God made you to be. Do you know that there's
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: rich people out there and famous people out here that
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: would trade lives with you because they are so unhappy?
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: So many they ain't got no family, They ain't got
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: nobody up around them that care about them. They ain't
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: got nobody to sit down and playing nothing with. Everybody
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: in their life is conniving, stabbing them in the back,
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: trying the woiy to get a peace. Man, I got
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: so many people around me. Man, it's sicken in that times.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: But I'm also grateful that God gave me Marjorie. God
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: gave me my kids, Brandy Carley gave me bj gave
- 1:25:57Speaker 3: me my grandkids. That people genuinely care about me.
- 1:26:01Speaker 8: Mam.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: My daughter called me this morning before I got on
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: the Aird, talked to me for forty minutes, didn't ask
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: me for nothing, scared me, but didn't ask me for nothing.
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: That's what I got. I got family, man, So whatever,
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: I'm cool with it. Stop looking at other people's lives
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: comparing it to y'all. Man, how you feel Magic Johnson billionaire?
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: You ain't no billionaire. I'm cool I ain't got no billion.
