- 0:01Speaker 1: Democrats doubling down on the idea that Donald Trump has
- 0:05Speaker 1: gone rogue insane in taking over control of police law
- 0:10Speaker 1: enforcement in Washingt d C. Now, to be clear, this
- 0:13Speaker 1: is not something that he can do in other states
- 0:17Speaker 1: or cities without there being some sort of cooperation.
- 0:20Speaker 2: DC's very different. We all know that.
- 0:24Speaker 1: The media, however, is trying to say that Donald Trump's
- 0:26Speaker 1: about to just take over everywhere and anywhere he wants.
- 0:29Speaker 1: That is not exactly what the President's trying to do
- 0:32Speaker 1: at all. In fact, Donald Trump did say this about
- 0:36Speaker 1: other cities that are paying attention to d C.
- 0:39Speaker 3: We're going to have a tremendous success in what we're doing.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Other cities are hopefully watching this. They're all watching, just
- 0:46Speaker 3: like everyone's watching here. They're all watching, and maybe they'll
- 0:50Speaker 3: self clean up and maybe they'll self do this and
- 0:55Speaker 3: get rid of the cash list bail thing and all
- 0:57Speaker 3: of the things that caused the problem. I mean, if
- 1:00Speaker 3: you go back, this whole thing with cash list bail
- 1:02Speaker 3: is a disaster. So many problems came that we we
- 1:06Speaker 3: never had before. So they're watching us today, and if
- 1:11Speaker 3: they don't learn their lesson, if they haven't studied us properly,
- 1:14Speaker 3: because we're going to be very successful. I have a
- 1:16Speaker 3: zero doubt about that. It's going to be say, a
- 1:18Speaker 3: question of will would be really fast.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Like the border.
- 1:22Speaker 1: You notice the President clearly is playing chess. Why is
- 1:25Speaker 1: he talking the way he is about all of this.
- 1:27Speaker 1: He's doing it because he's sending a message that it's
- 1:31Speaker 1: going to prove a point that having adequate law enforcement,
- 1:34Speaker 1: backing that law enforcement and allowing them to do their
- 1:37Speaker 1: job is how you clean up a city. And Washington,
- 1:40Speaker 1: d C. Is the nation's capital. It should be the
- 1:43Speaker 1: safest city in all of America. Stephen Miller making also
- 1:48Speaker 1: this point at the White House about how dangerous DC is,
- 1:51Speaker 1: comparing it to Bagdad in Iraq.
- 1:54Speaker 4: The President has been very clear that he's going to
- 1:56Speaker 4: take the action necessary to secure the city of Washington
- 1:59Speaker 4: for the people who live here, for all the American
- 2:01Speaker 4: people and all who visit here is our capital city.
- 2:03Speaker 2: It is more violent than Baghdad.
- 2:05Speaker 4: It is more violent than parts of Ethiopia and parts
- 2:09Speaker 4: of many of the most dangerous places.
- 2:11Speaker 2: In the world. It's really shocking.
- 2:13Speaker 4: If you should look at the graph that has been
- 2:15Speaker 4: shown comparing parts of some of the most dangerous field
- 2:18Speaker 4: states in the world. Compared to d C, DC is
- 2:21Speaker 4: more violent, and so he's going to do what's necessary
- 2:23Speaker 4: to make sure our nation's capital is safe for all Americans.
- 2:26Speaker 1: By the way, fact check it. Go ahead, check and
- 2:29Speaker 1: see if Washington, d C. Is more violent than Baghdad.
- 2:33Speaker 1: The answer will be yes. This is what democrats are
- 2:38Speaker 1: hoping you will not believe, hoping that you will just
- 2:42Speaker 1: look the other way and not see the reality of
- 2:45Speaker 1: exactly what is happening right now now. The President also
- 2:49Speaker 1: making it clear that because the federal government is now
- 2:52Speaker 1: in control of Washington, d C, it also denies DC
- 2:57Speaker 1: their sanctuary city status. Tom Homan saying that on Fox
- 3:02Speaker 1: News Channel, where now this allows for him to work
- 3:05Speaker 1: with Ice and also to work to get illegal immigrant
- 3:08Speaker 1: criminals out of the city.
- 3:09Speaker 5: Quickly, let me ask you about the DC situation, and
- 3:14Speaker 5: does the fact that there's National Guard there Now it's
- 3:17Speaker 5: a sanctuary city like sanctuary cities across the country, but
- 3:20Speaker 5: it's unique in that it has federal control and now
- 3:23Speaker 5: you've got National Guard on the ground side by side
- 3:26Speaker 5: with Ice. Does that combination basically negate the sanctuary city
- 3:32Speaker 5: status in Washington, d C. At least for these thirty
- 3:34Speaker 5: days in terms of what you can do there.
- 3:36Speaker 6: Tom, Yes, I think DC under fire. The control is
- 3:40Speaker 6: now going to be a sanctuary city. We're working with
- 3:42Speaker 6: the police hand in hand. We encounter a criminal illegal
- 3:46Speaker 6: alien that we turned over ice, and that's where should be.
- 3:49Speaker 6: I mean, I'm not saying every illegal alien in DC
- 3:52Speaker 6: is a criminal, but many are. So these are people
- 3:56Speaker 6: won't focus on it. Illegal alien criminal safety threat in
- 3:59Speaker 6: DC is not going to be protected. There's no sanctuary
- 4:03Speaker 6: for these people in the city of DC.
- 4:06Speaker 2: There is no sanctuary for these people in DC.
- 4:11Speaker 1: So you look at all of this, And now we're
- 4:13Speaker 1: hearing from the former Capitol Police Chief Stephen Son, who said,
- 4:18Speaker 1: the bigger picture here shows that the media and Democrats
- 4:21Speaker 1: are actually lying. Democrats are trying to convince you that Washington,
- 4:25Speaker 1: d C. Is a very safe place, that there's not
- 4:28Speaker 1: a crime issue, and that crime is falling drastically, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: Donald Trump is just trying to grandstand over what Democrats
- 4:35Speaker 1: have somehow done to make Washington, DC safe. Yes, it's absurd,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but that's what they're trying to sell. Now, the bigger
- 4:42Speaker 1: picture shows Seek's crime is actually on the rise. That's
- 4:46Speaker 1: what the former Capitol Police chief said during an interview today,
- 4:50Speaker 1: the day after President Trump announced he's placing the DC
- 4:53Speaker 1: Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control and activating the
- 4:57Speaker 1: National Guard to restore law and order to the nation's capital.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Sun explained that there are several agencies working together to
- 5:04Speaker 1: secure DC and highlighted that Trump is a very very
- 5:08Speaker 1: detailed oriented person, saying, quote, in case people don't know that,
- 5:13Speaker 1: it is not uncommon for him to be driving in
- 5:16Speaker 1: a motor kid and realize, hey, street lights are out,
- 5:19Speaker 1: or look at that, or look at that graffiti and
- 5:22Speaker 1: make a notification on it. This is how detail oriented
- 5:26Speaker 1: the President actually is. So for him to see some
- 5:28Speaker 1: of the crime that's happening in some of the assaults
- 5:31Speaker 1: that are occurring.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And Navy Yard is.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Just six blocks south of the Capitol, short distance from
- 5:37Speaker 1: the White House, it's a big area to see these
- 5:40Speaker 1: gangs of youth kind of taking it over. It doesn't
- 5:42Speaker 1: surprise me that they're now going to pull these federal
- 5:45Speaker 1: resources together and form a task force, explaining, Look, we've
- 5:50Speaker 1: done this before, saying quote, we did this in the
- 5:52Speaker 1: early nineteen nineties when I was with DC Police. We
- 5:56Speaker 1: were able to drive down homicide rates when the chief.
- 6:00Speaker 1: When heir was chief, think that was about twenty ten,
- 6:03Speaker 1: twenty fourteen, we had a homicide rate that was maybe
- 6:07Speaker 1: right around one hundred, one hundred and seventy year. Now
- 6:10Speaker 1: twenty twenty three you got two hundred and seventy four homicides,
- 6:13Speaker 1: so you had a significant increase. He said, this is
- 6:17Speaker 1: the big problem, and this is why the present is
- 6:20Speaker 1: having to do what he's doing now. So when people
- 6:23Speaker 1: talk about, oh, hey, there's a big drop, as the
- 6:26Speaker 1: DC mayor has tried to claim that the number of
- 6:29Speaker 1: homicides is somehow down in twenty four from twenty three
- 6:32Speaker 1: and so therefore everything's fine. That's what the DC narrative
- 6:36Speaker 1: has been pushed by the mayor Bowser. It doesn't add
- 6:39Speaker 1: up with reality, he said, quote so when people talk about,
- 6:42Speaker 1: oh there's a big drop, there's a drop from twenty
- 6:45Speaker 1: three to twenty four, but you look at the overall rate,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's still significant double the number of murders that we
- 6:52Speaker 1: had in twenty ten. That's what the former police chief
- 6:55Speaker 1: of DC pointed out. Explain that there used to be
- 6:58Speaker 1: a time when the crime really stated in certain neighborhoods.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Now it's everywhere. Now it's all throughout the city. So
- 7:05Speaker 1: they're going to deploy into these areas and really focus
- 7:09Speaker 1: focus on crime, focus on your most violent offenders, your
- 7:12Speaker 1: repeat offenders. He continued, urging officials to zero in on
- 7:16Speaker 1: juvenile crime, which Democrats have in essence, sanction those under
- 7:21Speaker 1: eighteen to do whatever they want. Quote, They've always historically
- 7:24Speaker 1: been very soft on punishment on juvenile crime, and the
- 7:28Speaker 1: concern with it is if you don't begin to address
- 7:32Speaker 1: behavior at a young age, it's just going to get worse.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Emphasizing that the DC homicide rate is five to six
- 7:38Speaker 1: times that of any other major city in the United
- 7:42Speaker 1: States of America, which brings us back to the big
- 7:46Speaker 1: point about why is the mayor of DC fighting this, Well,
- 7:50Speaker 1: it's pretty simple. She hates Donald Trump and she doesn't
- 7:53Speaker 1: want to be seen as someone that actually is a failure.
- 7:57Speaker 1: That's why the DC mayor Bowser is in denial. Trump's
- 8:01Speaker 1: plan to combat crime in our city is quote unsettling
- 8:05Speaker 1: and unprecedented. She said, Well, the Democratic mayor is in
- 8:09Speaker 1: denial about what has happened under her watch in a
- 8:13Speaker 1: crime ridden city, asserting that President Trump's view of the
- 8:17Speaker 1: nation's capitalists quote shaped by his COVID era experience during
- 8:21Speaker 1: his first term, and claiming that crime has already been
- 8:24Speaker 1: robustly addressed. Deeming Trump's actions, as I mentioned, unsettling and unprecedented.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Bowser kicked off the press conference and the positive elements
- 8:34Speaker 1: of DC, repeatedly calling it quote beautiful Washington, DC is
- 8:37Speaker 1: a beautiful city, a magnificent city, possibly saying these words
- 8:41Speaker 1: to try to mock Donald Trump. We're home to seven
- 8:43Speaker 1: hundred thousand Washington Washington residents. We welcome millions of visitors
- 8:48Speaker 1: every year from around our nation, around the world. We
- 8:50Speaker 1: have the nation's premier park system, she claims, fantastic public schools.
- 8:55Speaker 2: The data doesn't back that up, by the way.
- 8:58Speaker 1: And then she says, including a free and row US
- 9:00Speaker 1: pre K program starting at age three. We have a
- 9:03Speaker 1: tremendous public transportation system. She went on to brag, which,
- 9:07Speaker 1: by the way, people are now afraid to use quote.
- 9:10Speaker 1: It's very important to me that for all who live
- 9:13Speaker 1: here and visit here, just know how beautiful our city
- 9:15Speaker 1: is and how proud we are of all the accomplishments here,
- 9:19Speaker 1: reminding listeners of the quote basics, saying quote, we're unique
- 9:24Speaker 1: in other ways as well, though We pay taxes. In fact,
- 9:28Speaker 1: we pay more than most states per capita. We're not
- 9:31Speaker 1: a state. We don't control the DC National Guard, we
- 9:33Speaker 1: don't have siners or full autonomy. Limited home rule gives
- 9:38Speaker 1: the federal government the ability to intrude on our autonomy
- 9:41Speaker 1: in many ways, she said, before delving into Trump's move
- 9:44Speaker 1: to address crime in the city. I've seen this before,
- 9:48Speaker 1: I've said it before, and I'll repeat it. I believe
- 9:50Speaker 1: that President Trump's view of DC's shaped by his COVID
- 9:53Speaker 1: era experience during his first term. And it's true that
- 9:57Speaker 1: those were more challenging times really to some issues. Is
- 10:01Speaker 1: also true that we experienced a crime spike post COVID,
- 10:04Speaker 1: but we worked quickly to put laws in place and
- 10:07Speaker 1: tactics that got violent offenders off our streets and gave
- 10:10Speaker 1: our police officers more tools, which is why we've seen
- 10:13Speaker 1: a huge decrease in crime. So is there actually a
- 10:16Speaker 1: huge decrease in crime? The answer is also no. She's
- 10:20Speaker 1: lying to you, Yet she continues to say, quote because
- 10:23Speaker 1: of those efforts, we've been able to reverse the twenty
- 10:26Speaker 1: twenty three crime spike this year alone, bragging the DC
- 10:30Speaker 1: is at a thirty year violent crime low.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well, Yeah, that may be true.
- 10:35Speaker 1: It's still way more violent than the majority of American cities,
- 10:38Speaker 1: and you're way more likely to be killed there than
- 10:40Speaker 1: even in Baghdad. And that is exactly why Donald Trump said,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm taking over. I'm not waiting on you to do
- 10:48Speaker 1: your job you should have done a long time ago.
- 10:51Speaker 1: The nation's capital has been overtaken by violent gangs, bloodthirsty criminals,
- 10:56Speaker 1: roathing mobs of wild youth, drugged out many acts, and
- 11:00Speaker 1: homeless people. And we're not going to let it happen anymore,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Trump said during his press conference, yet again putting law
- 11:07Speaker 1: abiding citizens first. All right, I want to take a
- 11:10Speaker 1: moment talk about the economy. You've been seeing what's happening
- 11:13Speaker 1: on Wall Street, You've seen what's been happening with interest rates,

- 13:24Speaker 1: Elliott Precious Medals, Smarter Metal Investing starts with them. It
- 13:28Speaker 1: is democrats biggest fear. Law and order returning state by
- 13:33Speaker 1: state and states now working with the Trump administration and
- 13:37Speaker 1: ICE officials. Specifically, we now have three states that have
- 13:43Speaker 1: signed a new agreement with ICE for quote expanded immigration
- 13:49Speaker 1: enforcement operations. These three states include West Virginia, South Dakota,
- 13:56Speaker 1: and Arkansas, all signing the agreements with the Department of
- 14:00Speaker 1: Own Securities, US Immigration Customs Enforcement to specifically, they say,
- 14:05Speaker 1: ramp up immigration enforcement within their jurisdictions. West Virginia was
- 14:11Speaker 1: the first one. The governor there, Patrick Morsey, announced a
- 14:15Speaker 1: robust collaboration under Section two eight seven G of the
- 14:20Speaker 1: Immigration and Nationality Act. This agreement enlists the West Virginia
- 14:25Speaker 1: State Police, Corrections and Rehabilitation Division and the National Guard
- 14:30Speaker 1: to assist ICE in immigration enforcement. Translation, if you're an
- 14:36Speaker 1: legal immigrant, you don't want to be in West Virginia
- 14:38Speaker 1: right now now. Under this task force, structure, officers can
- 14:43Speaker 1: quote interrogate anyone suspected of being an undocumented immigrant. Number
- 14:48Speaker 1: two process immigration violations for individuals already rested for other offenses.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Three conduct warrantless arrests if an in individual is seen
- 15:01Speaker 1: and suspected to be a flight risk pending a warrant.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Four serve immigration warrants, administer oas, collect fingerprints and gather evidence.
- 15:13Speaker 1: And five issue immigration detainers and hold individuals in correctional
- 15:18Speaker 1: facilities before transferring them to ICE custy under federal supervision.
- 15:24Speaker 1: You look at what has happened in South Dakota. The
- 15:27Speaker 1: governor there, as part of his quote Operation Prairie Thunder,
- 15:31Speaker 1: a public safety initiative, will now have the South Dakota
- 15:35Speaker 1: Highway Patrols support ICE with the rests announcing it today.
- 15:39Speaker 1: The National Guard assists with the processing and administrative tasks
- 15:43Speaker 1: as well, and the Department of Corrections will help transport detainees,
- 15:48Speaker 1: identify undocumented individuals within state prisons, and parole them into
- 15:54Speaker 1: ICE custody.
- 15:56Speaker 2: You then move to Arkansas.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Governor Sarah Huckabee, said, former White House pre Secretary under
- 16:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump, signing the Defense Against Criminal Illegals Act, which
- 16:07Speaker 1: definitively increases penalties for undocumented immigrants convicted of violent crimes,
- 16:13Speaker 1: again saying to illegal immigrants, you don't want to be
- 16:16Speaker 1: in Arkansas. It also, with this new agreement, allows sheriffs
- 16:20Speaker 1: to apply for the two to eight to seven G
- 16:22Speaker 1: authority to serve immigration warrants on those already in custody,
- 16:29Speaker 1: and Sarah Uckebee Centers announcing this enables the Arkansas State
- 16:33Speaker 1: Police to stop individuals in public, inquire about immigration status
- 16:39Speaker 1: and potentially arrest suspected undocumented immigrants. Now, if you think
- 16:44Speaker 1: they're doing this lighthearted, you're wrong. For example, in Arkansas,
- 16:48Speaker 1: there is training required, a forty hour online course covering
- 16:52Speaker 1: scope immigration law, civil rights, cross cultural issues, as well
- 16:57Speaker 1: as liability. Doing this in a responsible way. Now you
- 17:01Speaker 1: may be asking what is ICE two eight seven G program. Well,
- 17:06Speaker 1: let me explain to you the broader context of how
- 17:08Speaker 1: this is being used by the Trump administration. The program
- 17:12Speaker 1: enables state and local officers, after ICE provided training, to
- 17:18Speaker 1: carry out certain immigration enforcement duties under ICE supervision. That
- 17:23Speaker 1: is why there's a collaboration here and why they are
- 17:26Speaker 1: having to sign on to the program. Now, as of
- 17:30Speaker 1: August thirteenth, ICE has executed eight hundred and ninety seven
- 17:35Speaker 1: agreements across forty states, including various models such as jail enforcement,
- 17:41Speaker 1: warrant service, and task force operations. The Trump administration has
- 17:47Speaker 1: significantly accelerated these partnerships, growing from around one hundred and
- 17:52Speaker 1: thirty five to over seven hundred agreements in early twenty
- 17:56Speaker 1: twenty five alone.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Of course, the left.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Is going insane, warning that the surge is a risk
- 18:03Speaker 1: to quote civil rights community trust and invites, they say,
- 18:06Speaker 1: racial profiling, even though none of these programs have anything
- 18:10Speaker 1: to do with that. Now, you also may be asking yourself,
- 18:14Speaker 1: why am I not quoting the president right now when
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you about this initiative, Well, the President clearly
- 18:20Speaker 1: is playing chess on the issue. In fact, the White
- 18:23Speaker 1: House has had no public statement or reaction regarding these
- 18:28Speaker 1: specific agreements with West Virginia, South Dakota, and Arkansas, mainly
- 18:33Speaker 1: because they want this to be clearly seen as state
- 18:36Speaker 1: led that these governors are opting in. And that is
- 18:40Speaker 1: exactly why the administration is being so successful in getting
- 18:44Speaker 1: this done with so many different agreements, because they're not grandstanding.
- 18:49Speaker 1: They're just trying to fight crime, and it's clearly working.
- 18:53Speaker 1: And when you also take a listen to West Virginia's
- 18:55Speaker 1: governor responding to the Trump administration's position on immigration force
- 19:00Speaker 1: and entering into this agreement, and what he says it's
- 19:03Speaker 1: going to do for his state, and also why so
- 19:05Speaker 1: many other states should get involved.
- 19:08Speaker 7: We always thought that when you're talking about the Biden
- 19:11Speaker 7: border disorder, which is what occurred for four years, that
- 19:15Speaker 7: the best way to deal with it is to have
- 19:17Speaker 7: a partnership between the states and the federal government. Now
- 19:20Speaker 7: you're seeing that with the Trump administration, which is incredible.
- 19:24Speaker 7: So West Virginia has actually entered into the two to
- 19:27Speaker 7: eighty seven g program and so we're working hand in
- 19:30Speaker 7: hand with ICE to identify illegal aliens and make sure
- 19:35Speaker 7: that they can get deported.
- 19:36Speaker 8: And this is.
- 19:37Speaker 7: Really important to do because, as President Trump said yesterday,
- 19:41Speaker 7: when you actually remove a lot of these illegal aliens
- 19:44Speaker 7: from the system, you're going to see a reduction in crime.
- 19:47Speaker 7: That there are a number of people we found it
- 19:49Speaker 7: even in West Virginia. Murderers, attempted murder, sexual assaults, all
- 19:54Speaker 7: different types of crime. None of the states need it.
- 19:57Speaker 7: Now we have a partnership with the Trumpet administration and
- 20:00Speaker 7: it's fabulous. I know that I've talked to a Homeland
- 20:04Speaker 7: Security secretary, Christy Nome. I've praised her for her We're
- 20:08Speaker 7: trying to work together with them because it takes states
- 20:12Speaker 7: working with the federal government to make sure that we're
- 20:14Speaker 7: kind of reasserting our position and stopping all the horrific
- 20:19Speaker 7: consequences of what happened with the illegal immigrants coming in.
- 20:23Speaker 7: I know in West Virginia we really felt the impact
- 20:26Speaker 7: of that through the massive amount of death that flowed
- 20:29Speaker 7: from fetnyl that flooded into our state, originally from China,
- 20:34Speaker 7: went through the Mexican drug cartels, made its way into
- 20:37Speaker 7: the US. I think you're seeing a very different and
- 20:40Speaker 7: a much more successful approach, and I'm glad that our
- 20:44Speaker 7: state is a part of that.
- 20:46Speaker 1: One of the most important things that was said there
- 20:49Speaker 1: by the West Virginia governor was how he said West
- 20:51Speaker 1: Virginia had quote become an effective border state due to
- 20:56Speaker 1: the massive FETNOH problem caused by illegal immigrats. The federal
- 21:02Speaker 1: outbreak in West Virginia has been catastrophic, especially on young people.
- 21:06Speaker 1: This is one of the reasons why the governor said
- 21:08Speaker 1: he's so eager to work with ICE because of how
- 21:11Speaker 1: many lives he believes he's going to be able to save. Now,
- 21:14Speaker 1: the National Guard and the State police will have quote
- 21:17Speaker 1: task force authority and that is going to be huge
- 21:21Speaker 1: and going after the drug traffickers. Why, it gives them
- 21:25Speaker 1: the authority to interrogate any person they believe to be
- 21:30Speaker 1: an I legal immigrant as to his right to remain
- 21:33Speaker 1: in the US now under the supervision or direction of
- 21:36Speaker 1: the federal government, meaning ICE agents. Officers will also be
- 21:42Speaker 1: able to process immigration related violations for those arrested for
- 21:47Speaker 1: state or federal offenses. This is going to allow the
- 21:52Speaker 1: governor and his team to actually be able to do
- 21:55Speaker 1: what they need to do. It also allows for them
- 21:58Speaker 1: to have quote warrantless arrests of any illegal immigrant in
- 22:01Speaker 1: the officer's presence or view if that person is believed
- 22:05Speaker 1: to be a flight risk in the interim of obtaining
- 22:10Speaker 1: a warrant. So the governor they are authorizing the state
- 22:13Speaker 1: law enforcement to serve immigration warrants, administer os, and collect
- 22:19Speaker 1: evidence for required alien processing. This will allow for fingerprinting
- 22:25Speaker 1: and suspect interviews to be done. Now, this is also
- 22:29Speaker 1: going to have a huge impact just on the psyche
- 22:31Speaker 1: of illegal immigrants and cartel members in West Virginia because
- 22:35Speaker 1: now they understand that virtually anyone in law enforcement now
- 22:39Speaker 1: can do the job they need to do to find
- 22:41Speaker 1: out who they are and stop them, something that was
- 22:44Speaker 1: not happening under the Biden regime. And that's why the
- 22:48Speaker 1: President's being pretty quiet about this, because it's happening in
- 22:52Speaker 1: real time, and he's letting the governors lead in these states.
- 22:57Speaker 1: It is the traditional August recess. It's happening right now
- 23:01Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. Congress is back in their districts
- 23:04Speaker 1: in theory, tending to business of listening to the constituents.
- 23:09Speaker 1: That doesn't mean there isn't anything going on with the
- 23:11Speaker 1: House Auto Pen probe. In fact, it's uncovering a lot
- 23:16Speaker 1: about the Biden White House. Even as Congress is on
- 23:19Speaker 1: their traditional recess. The House Oversight Committee, i've been told today,
- 23:24Speaker 1: is still investigating the LEDs cover up of former President
- 23:27Speaker 1: Joe Biden's decline. The former president insisting he was responsible
- 23:32Speaker 1: for quote all decisions that came out of the White
- 23:35Speaker 1: House during his time in office, and former staff members
- 23:38Speaker 1: claim they saw no obvious signs of a cognitive decline. Well,
- 23:43Speaker 1: the House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer discussing the committee's
- 23:48Speaker 1: investigation to whether the Biden administration covered up the cognitive
- 23:51Speaker 1: deterioration of the former president. Now, there's also been the
- 23:55Speaker 1: question of precedent. What is the autopen like in the past.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Can you compare how other government officials use the autopen
- 24:03Speaker 1: in contrast to how it was being used when Joe
- 24:06Speaker 1: Biden was in office. Clearly that would help tremendously in
- 24:11Speaker 1: the investigation. Well, former Speaker of the House new Gingrich
- 24:15Speaker 1: set down with my good friend Mark Levin and he
- 24:17Speaker 1: was asked about the autopen when he was a Speaker
- 24:19Speaker 1: of the House signing legislation and how big of a
- 24:22Speaker 1: deal it was to use the autopen, How seriously was
- 24:25Speaker 1: the autopen taken, and how much was it also protected
- 24:29Speaker 1: from abuse. I want you to hear what new Gingrich
- 24:32Speaker 1: had to say to Levin.
- 24:33Speaker 9: Luke Gingrich question, when you were Speaker of the House,
- 24:38Speaker 9: I bet you took this signature requirement very seriously. I
- 24:41Speaker 9: bet you took the requirement that a president actually be
- 24:44Speaker 9: present when a bill was signed very very seriously. I
- 24:47Speaker 9: know there's a lot of formalities to the fact when
- 24:50Speaker 9: certain bills are brought they're brought in a special way,
- 24:53Speaker 9: they're handed to somebody specifically. There's a whole process set up.
- 24:58Speaker 9: Did you ever think you'd see the day where we're
- 25:01Speaker 9: raising serious questions about a former president whether he signed
- 25:05Speaker 9: these bills or if he was present when the bills
- 25:08Speaker 9: were signed.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Well, we put it that way. Sure, Look, these people
- 25:12Speaker 8: are corrupt, irresponsible, and happy to exploit the nation for
- 25:18Speaker 8: their own game. So given those kind of people, who
- 25:21Speaker 8: knows what they might do? I think it does raise,
- 25:25Speaker 8: as you have brilliantly done in this show today, it
- 25:28Speaker 8: raises a very big question about whether or not these
- 25:32Speaker 8: laws are in fact laws. Remember the founding fathers understood
- 25:36Speaker 8: that you had to have a pretty strict series of
- 25:39Speaker 8: rules or the whole system breaks down into a kind
- 25:43Speaker 8: of corruption which undermines the rule of law. The rule
- 25:47Speaker 8: of law requires rules, and one of those rules is
- 25:50Speaker 8: that the president signs bills. Now he can direct an
- 25:54Speaker 8: auto pen for things that are ceremonial Christmas cards for example,
- 26:00Speaker 8: and ought to be signing these things. And when you
- 26:02Speaker 8: learn that Biden was signing thousands of commutations in the
- 26:07Speaker 8: last few days of his administration, you know he didn't
- 26:10Speaker 8: have a clue what was going on. You know, we
- 26:12Speaker 8: have no idea what the deals were, why those people
- 26:14Speaker 8: were given commutations, or if in fact they were legal.
- 26:18Speaker 8: So I do think there's a profound question here, and
- 26:22Speaker 8: probably the Congress and President Trump should really write some
- 26:27Speaker 8: more restrictive rules about what it takes to get a
- 26:30Speaker 8: bill to actually be a law.
- 26:32Speaker 9: It's interesting New Camrich when I went back and looked
- 26:34Speaker 9: at Madisone's notes and looked at some of the other
- 26:37Speaker 9: essays and comments on that they spent a lot of
- 26:39Speaker 9: time on this. They spent a lot of time on
- 26:41Speaker 9: this signature issue. They remembered the Statute of Frauds from
- 26:46Speaker 9: the sixteen hundreds. It was very important to them. And
- 26:49Speaker 9: back then it was this guy is the president. You know,
- 26:51Speaker 9: we didn't have this massive bureaucracy. He's going to sign
- 26:54Speaker 9: these laws. We in Congress were going to spend our
- 26:56Speaker 9: time doing all this and send.
- 26:57Speaker 3: It to him.
- 26:58Speaker 9: We're concerned at some he might hijacket somebody might sign it.
- 27:03Speaker 9: And there's also this presentment requirement that he needs to
- 27:06Speaker 9: be present. I mean, let me ask you that is
- 27:08Speaker 9: it really asking a president too much to sign the
- 27:11Speaker 9: damn bills or to be present when the bills are signed.
- 27:14Speaker 9: I mean, if he's having difficulty doing that, doesn't that
- 27:17Speaker 9: kind of prove the point?
- 27:18Speaker 8: Well, look, I don't think any reasonable person thinks that
- 27:22Speaker 8: after some point in twenty twenty three, Joe Biden clearly
- 27:26Speaker 8: was incompetent as defined by the twenty fifth Amendment. As
- 27:29Speaker 8: you walked us through. I mean, when you read the
- 27:32Speaker 8: amendment and you read the discussion around the amendment, it's
- 27:35Speaker 8: very clear Biden clearly was incompetent. Sometime I can't say
- 27:40Speaker 8: any given date, but sometime in twenty three it should
- 27:43Speaker 8: have been obvious to every person who was dealing with
- 27:46Speaker 8: him that he was no longer competent to be president.
- 27:49Speaker 8: And I agree with you every one of these cabinet
- 27:52Speaker 8: officers and Vice President Harris failed their constitutional duty and
- 27:56Speaker 8: they should frankly be stuck with that that these are
- 27:59Speaker 8: people who will fully cheated the American people and allowed
- 28:03Speaker 8: a phony presidency in which I'm guessing doctor Jill was
- 28:07Speaker 8: the most important. She became an effect of the acting
- 28:10Speaker 8: president of the United States.
- 28:13Speaker 1: You listen to the claim there by new Gingridge, and
- 28:15Speaker 1: it's a very interesting one. He's saying that, in essence,
- 28:17Speaker 1: the first Lady was actually the President of the United
- 28:20Speaker 1: States of America, the de facto president.
- 28:23Speaker 2: She was elected by no one.
- 28:25Speaker 1: And if that is true, then who else was involved
- 28:29Speaker 1: in this cover up or coup, depending on how you
- 28:32Speaker 1: want to describe it. There's also another aspect of the story,
- 28:35Speaker 1: and that is the Biden regime. Right, they're out of office,
- 28:39Speaker 1: but they're still tight. The Biden crime family now is
- 28:43Speaker 1: doing everything they can to change the narrative, which brings
- 28:46Speaker 1: us to the former President Joe Biden. In a New
- 28:49Speaker 1: York Times interview, Biden has now asserted that he quote
- 28:53Speaker 1: personally made every clemency and pardon decision, even though an
- 28:58Speaker 1: auto pen was used to apply us signature on many documents.
- 29:02Speaker 1: To the massive volume involved. Translation, I'm giving you a
- 29:06Speaker 1: really good story, an alibi to why I wasn't signing
- 29:09Speaker 1: it myself, the President said, quote I made every single
- 29:13Speaker 1: one of those. He elaborated that he set the categories
- 29:17Speaker 1: and standards for pardons and commutations and communicated with each
- 29:21Speaker 1: decision to aids who executed the mechanics of signature writing
- 29:26Speaker 1: via auto pen. Again, this is what Joe Biden is
- 29:29Speaker 1: saying to the New York Times.
- 29:32Speaker 6: Now.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Biden also defended the practice as legal end quote typical,
- 29:36Speaker 1: noting that many other presents, including Trump, have used auto pins.
- 29:41Speaker 1: He emphasized it was simply a matter of handling quote
- 29:43Speaker 1: a whole lot of people. Responding to critics, Joe Biden
- 29:47Speaker 1: also called allegations of misuse politically motivated distractions, saying, quote
- 29:52Speaker 1: their liars, they've done so badly, they've lied so consistently,
- 29:58Speaker 1: the best thing they can do is focus on something else.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Biden also mentioned he issued preemptive pardons to his family
- 30:05Speaker 1: members to show them from what he expected would be
- 30:08Speaker 1: politically driven legal attacks, specifically from Donald Trump.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Guess what.
- 30:14Speaker 1: The only people that have gone after people politically and
- 30:17Speaker 1: attacks has been the Democratic Party, who went after Donald Trump.
- 30:23Speaker 1: And that's exactly why they had to give these preempted
- 30:26Speaker 1: pardons out now. Biden's remarks came amid ongoing congressional investigations
- 30:32Speaker 1: by both the House and the Senate Republicans. These inquiries
- 30:37Speaker 1: are well, they're simple. They're examining whether the autopen was
- 30:41Speaker 1: used appropriately or whether Biden or his aides had sufficient
- 30:46Speaker 1: involvement in the decisions. His former White House physician, as
- 30:50Speaker 1: I talked about earlier on the show, Kevin O'Connor invoked
- 30:54Speaker 1: to fit Amendment when called to testify. Now, the Trump
- 30:58Speaker 1: White House, via the Secretary Caroline Levitt, launched its own investigation.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Coordinating with a Justice Department. They reviewed tens of thousands
- 31:08Speaker 1: of documents from NARA and anticipate examining up to a
- 31:12Speaker 1: million more to determine whether Biden retained proper control of
- 31:16Speaker 1: the autopen or succeeded authority to staffers or maybe his wife.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Levitt harshly criticized Biden, calling him the worst, most incompetent,
- 31:27Speaker 1: and senile president, and suggesting that he relinquished executive power
- 31:32Speaker 1: to unelected aids or even family members.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Now, let me also just remind.
- 31:38Speaker 1: You of what the President said in his own words
- 31:41Speaker 1: on the autopen scandal. He's been very clear that he
- 31:45Speaker 1: believes that Joe Biden was not running the country, that
- 31:48Speaker 1: Joe Biden didn't know what executive orders or even laws
- 31:51Speaker 1: may have been signed at the end of his administration,
- 31:54Speaker 1: and certainly didn't know who was getting clemency or pardons
- 31:59Speaker 1: in his last days and hours in office. It's also
- 32:02Speaker 1: interesting that Joe Biden signed his own family's pardons personally,
- 32:08Speaker 1: using his signature, not the autopen, pointing to the fact
- 32:12Speaker 1: that he was so paranoid about the Biden crime family
- 32:15Speaker 1: being protected and covered, but for everyone else, it was
- 32:18Speaker 1: like he wasn't even at the will to even be asleep.
- 32:22Speaker 1: The autopen was being used by countless other individuals, and
- 32:26Speaker 1: who knows how much corruption there was around it. Here's
- 32:29Speaker 1: President Trump in his own words, I mean, you're talking.
- 32:32Speaker 2: About the autopen.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Look, the autopen, I think is maybe one of the
- 32:35Speaker 3: biggest scandals that we've had in fifty to one hundred years.
- 32:40Speaker 3: This is a tremendous scandal. And I know the people
- 32:44Speaker 3: on the other side of the desk a resolute desk.
- 32:48Speaker 3: Unfortunately he used it before me. But you know, we
- 32:52Speaker 3: have our choice of seven desks were all beautiful, but
- 32:56Speaker 3: I chose the resolute and so did he. Unfortunately. But
- 33:01Speaker 3: the people on the other side of the resolute desk,
- 33:04Speaker 3: I know them, Lisa, the Hall Group, and then no
- 33:08Speaker 3: good is sick people. And I guarantee he knew nothing
- 33:13Speaker 3: about what he was saying. I guarantee it.
- 33:17Speaker 1: And that's exactly what this investigation is going to be
- 33:21Speaker 1: all about. The President making it clear they're not backing
- 33:24Speaker 1: down and they are going to investigate it and find
- 33:28Speaker 1: out exactly who was running the country and that person
- 33:32Speaker 1: was clearly not elected by any Americans. Now I asked
- 33:36Speaker 1: for Congress, well, the House and the Senate doing their
- 33:39Speaker 1: own investigations individually. There are going to be a lot
- 33:43Speaker 1: of people that are going to want to answer questions,
- 33:45Speaker 1: or maybe a lot of people that don't want to
- 33:47Speaker 1: answer questions, depending on what your role was within the
- 33:52Speaker 1: Biden regime. As for the former staffers, you can expect
- 33:56Speaker 1: more of them to take the fifth and not say
- 33:58Speaker 1: a word because afraid of incriminating themselves and probably going
- 34:03Speaker 1: to jail. Don't forget share this podcast please with your
- 34:06Speaker 1: family and your friends wherever they are, and I will
- 34:10Speaker 1: see you back here tomorrow.
